- 0:00Lose there, you move, right? One who said was being settled.
- 0:05The other one is being actually unintelligent, not smart.
- 0:11Not knowing a lot makes a person.
- 0:13I heard him. It's the opposite what you
- 0:14think, but the you, to be frank, the Dumber the person is, the
- 0:18more arrogant it can be because he doesn't know what he does,
- 0:21what he doesn't know, right. So now that's going to force him
- 0:25to fall on the bottom. He says now an additional
- 0:27component that makes people not not humble makes an arrogant or
- 0:33the mum of Sidiya Al Naba who is Habrut or in Shamashi Vietnam,
- 0:37Hanefim, someone who hangs around people who are
- 0:42Mihanehfim. People flatter him all day long.
- 0:45You know all the people that become a big deal and many of
- 0:48them at least they have yes men around them.
- 0:51And yes men feels very good. It feels great to have a man
- 0:54always say yes to you. Has the guy always said yes,
- 0:57Sir, you're right, Sir, All that stuff right?
- 1:00Because they don't argue with you, they don't embarrass you,
- 1:03they don't make you look wrong. They actually make you feel good
- 1:05all the time. But it's comical because all
- 1:08those people have yes men. They become more and more
- 1:12arrogant. They create, they're bringing
- 1:13the yes men. They like it because it makes
- 1:15them feel good. And then they slowly start to
- 1:17become more and more arrogant and they build up their
- 1:20perception of themselves based on this little mini image of
- 1:24themselves. And why is it a joke?
- 1:26It's a joke because only there's circle sees them that way.
- 1:30And then but the world at large doesn't see them that way.
- 1:33You start saying you're looking at these people in the news, the
- 1:36famous people, they're a big deal.
- 1:38And what are they? They are Shunyi Arrogang is
- 1:42saying don't they have any self-awareness?
- 1:45Don't they realize how they look?
- 1:46Whose fault is it? It's their flatterer.
- 1:49Or the person receiving the. Flatterer.
- 1:50Well, it's a scent of flatterer, but as a person who receives A
- 1:54flatter, his fault. And he doesn't want to be
- 1:58humble. He's not willing to be real and
- 2:01he can't be genuine. And he starts to create that
- 2:04circle and keep that circle and kick anyone out.
- 2:07Whoever tells him he's wrong kicks him out of his circle.
- 2:10That's the fault. So really, I guess it's his.
- 2:12I should have ignored the Hamitam.
- 2:15They steal his heart. They win him over with flattery
- 2:19and the money top land. Now they're doing it.
- 2:22Here's the double sketch. He likes stickers and makes him
- 2:24feel good. So he doesn't have any
- 2:26self-awareness and he thinks of himself as a great person
- 2:30because people are telling himself, fine, that's sketch
- 2:32number one, sketch number 2. So OK, at least he has these
- 2:35people who consider him a big deal.
- 2:37They don't either. When they get home and they talk
- 2:40to their wife. Do you think they're saying my
- 2:42boss or you know, in the old days, His Majesty, my leader, is
- 2:47he they're saying how great he is.
- 2:48Nothing. Now they're saying he's a
- 2:49disaster, he's a problem, he's annoying, he boss smear around.
- 2:53They're saying all those things. So in the heart of hearts, or
- 2:55even less than that, they don't think he's a big deal either.
- 2:59So boil it down to who? Who exactly considers this
- 3:02person worth anything? Not his the world, because the
- 3:06world knows the truth. The world can sense the truth
- 3:09because if someone's arrogant, you can feel it.
- 3:11Not even his circle who's talking about him all day long,
- 3:13because they too are just nervous about his respect.
- 3:18They're just worried about remaining in the circle.
- 3:20They're just playing into this world.
- 3:24So nobody at the end of the day considers him anything.
- 3:27See, here's a guy who's so arrogant to believe that he has
- 3:31a world that everyone sees him as a big deal because he keeps
- 3:33anyone who doesn't see him out get rid of that and only keeps
- 3:37the people who are the estimate in him.
- 3:40And now they're telling him all day long.
- 3:41Now, why would a person enjoy people, his inner circle telling
- 3:44him all day long he's a big deal?
- 3:47Sir, you're so smart, you know, you really know what you're
- 3:49doing. By the way, this sounds comical
- 3:52and sounds like it's from the old days.
- 3:54Absolutely not. This is something that's part of
- 3:57the modern day world. Very much all the big stars out
- 4:00there, they keep this as they norm.
- 4:02They're followers. They're followers, right?
- 4:04And why do they? Now let's ask this.
- 4:06Why would they do this? Why would they allow this to be
- 4:10only have it in a circle in mind beliefs?
- 4:14And if all I hear all day are these people and these people
- 4:18say I'm a big deal, these people are impressed by me.
- 4:22And to me in my mind, that means the whole world sees me in the
- 4:25exact same way. So they're sketching themselves
- 4:27into believing that they really are something special.
- 4:30So you have a person based on his arrogance created a circle
- 4:34that only holds in those who give him credit, only holds in
- 4:39those who say yes to him. And it makes sense.
- 4:41They're forced to remain in that circle otherwise they lose their
- 4:44job. Otherwise they lose their
- 4:45connection. So they remain in and they do it
- 4:47and they play into it. The rest of the world, not part
- 4:50of it. OK, at least out of that circle.
- 4:52The joke is nobody really is impressed by him.
- 4:56He's not a single person that really likes this person that
- 4:59his wife and definitely most probably not and definitely not
- 5:02this circle. They're actually people living
- 5:05on egg shakes. They're just scared of him.
- 5:07How about the people out there if it's sure not so he has in
- 5:09his mind a pedestal that he's standing on and everyone is
- 5:13clapping and there's nobody out there that considers him worth
- 5:16anything. They're just a bunch of scared
- 5:18people in a circle and a bunch of denied interested people
- 5:22outside a circle that he doesn't know of.
- 5:23He joked me himself to believe me is a big deal.
- 5:25And if you think this is something that doesn't relate to
- 5:27us. So it's not confidence.
- 5:29It's not confidence. It's based on extreme
- 5:31insecurity. The greatest degree of
- 5:33confidence is the willingness to be able to hear that you roam
- 5:36and move on. But if someone needs to be right
- 5:39all the time, needs to have the estimate, all time politicians,
- 5:424 stars actors, they have this in droves.
- 5:45And even people who are well off that you know of, even people
- 5:49who are a big deal in the community, they can get used to
- 5:51this too. And even people that are normal
- 5:54like used to this too. People can feel good.
- 5:56But all people do that meaning other than, let's say, your
- 5:59mother and your wife, yeah, like no one really calls you out.
- 6:02On yeah, it's true. We're all running this risk.
- 6:05Absolutely. We're all running this risk.
- 6:07Any person that you know, I don't know if, if maybe I'm in
- 6:11that position, I'm not sure, but it could very well be that me
- 6:14personally in this position, I don't know if people are willing
- 6:17to come over to me and say something that they don't agree
- 6:19what I did. That's a comment, right?
- 6:21I'll get a couple of people give it out to you.
- 6:25No, but you like it in sports. That's a hobby of yours.
- 6:28For you it's a comment, he said. But because of that, maybe I'm
- 6:32in a position by now. Then I don't know when I'm doing
- 6:35something and therefore maybe I feel good every day and I have
- 6:38no clue. Take a wealthy person, take a
- 6:41person as a big donor, take a person as a big deal.
- 6:44Take a person that does a lot, all the people.
- 6:46Take someone that the person who needs all these people might fit
- 6:50into this role. And you think it's a joke.
- 6:52It's very common, right? The rich uncle is never told by
- 6:56his nephew anything wrong with the person who's behind the
- 6:59whole family. No one ever has anything
- 7:01negative to say about him to his face behind the scenes, goodness
- 7:05gracious. But his face, everyone is very
- 7:07nice. Why?
- 7:09Because they need him and he needs them and they're pumping
- 7:12and he's pumping. They're pumping them up.
- 7:13And this is a world of yes men. People are very, very inclined
- 7:18to enjoy the yes man mentality. I have someone who tells me yes,
- 7:22who says I'm right, who encourages me in my office,
- 7:25feels great. If what if I'm making a deal
- 7:27with a bad buyer? What if I'm doing something
- 7:30that's not smart? But if I'm getting involved in
- 7:32something that doesn't make sense to me, who's going to tell
- 7:34me no? Who in my office can tell me is
- 7:36a bad idea? If it the way it works, the way
- 7:38the structure is, I'm on top and they all listen to me and they
- 7:42all just encourage me. And I remained at a risk.
- 7:45And it's a dangerous risk. And the truth is, even in your
- 7:48own family, although respect is a very big deal and respect to
- 7:53the father and the leader is a major deal, your family should
- 7:56be structured that someone can let it be known how they do it.
- 8:01I don't know. With respect, someone can let it
- 8:03be known that they don't approve or they're not so on board with
- 8:06that idea. Even in your own family, is that
- 8:09hard with your parents? The wife, your wife, your wife
- 8:11does all the best thing. I played off you the best thing.
- 8:15The thing that has guided all men of greatness is the wife
- 8:22that has told them otherwise. The wife has told them it's not
- 8:25a big deal. You know, I talk about my year
- 8:27in teaching at school. My wife told today I still don't
- 8:30live it down because she told me before I not to do it right and
- 8:33she was proven correct and I only you know I backed out
- 8:37possibly because she wasn't on board as a kid a dog exactly as
- 8:40AB just said and help her. Who's against you.
- 8:43We think it's a joke. We have wife jokes.
- 8:45The men who have the wife that tells them don't do this.
- 8:49It's not good for you. It's not smart or that it's the
- 8:51best thing that you have to use your own SEC as well for sure.
- 8:55But that is a situation where she's not part of the yes team.
- 8:58If she were, if everything your wife say was go for it, it's a
- 9:02good idea. It's a great idea.
- 9:04Why that sounds so smart, right? And imagine losing such a world.
- 9:07It would feel good initially, feel great then when no one else
- 9:12out there is on board or the buyer's not on board.
- 9:14So your wife thinks it's a great idea to invest all that and that
- 9:17be you know, no one else does that.
- 9:19Hey, you're holding the bag and what's it worth?
- 9:22Whereas if your wife would have told you the truth then it may
- 9:26not feel so good. Right?
- 9:28Every time I would tell tell over a speech to my wife and she
- 9:32says a comment before and I have a pin in my stomach.
- 9:34I'm thinking myself, I shouldn't have said it, but that's dumb
- 9:37because if I wouldn't say it to her and the whole crowd would
- 9:39feel the way she felt. But if I do say to her and she
- 9:42has that compliment, now I'm saved.
- 9:44Maybe I have a less comfortable night and more work to do, but
- 9:47now I'm saved. That is the difference between
- 9:49having a yes man and not. And that's the difference
- 9:52between the initial feel good feeling that a person has.
- 9:55Whatever around them is so into them.
- 9:57We're up against the real good feel.
- 10:00When people tell you the truth, you know it's brought down that
- 10:03the best thing you should have is the best friend who tells you
- 10:08when you're doing something wrong.
- 10:10You should find someone who is your best friend.
- 10:13It may not only be your wife, because sometimes his wife
- 10:14doesn't know this stuff because she may not know exactly that
- 10:17topic or that area. Find a friend whom you allow to
- 10:23tell you off. Find someone out there.
- 10:27I tried to have someone for a short time and it didn't last.
- 10:31I don't know why we're still friends, but he he didn't.
- 10:35But really, what's the idea? Same idea if someone can be
- 10:38honest with you, if you can live in an honest world and you won't
- 10:41fool yourself to build yourself up something that you're not in.
- 10:44The joke is always when you do that, when you fool yourself,
- 10:47the world knows. So it's not worth to be able to
- 10:48take criticism. You must be able to give.
- 10:51Manas says. However that long we we don't
- 10:54have the time anymore for the time of the game man, where the
- 10:56right people can give criticism and we definitely do not have
- 11:00the time that people can handle criticism.
- 11:02Imagine that wasn't a time. I think how people can handle it
- 11:05nowadays for Shawna Rabbi gets up and bashes not going to work.
- 11:09He can talk about Amidah, but he can't bash.
- 11:11He's not going to go anywhere. So person should be able to
- 11:14handle it based on this theme, which is the more you make your
- 11:20circle, people who give you compliments, people who tell you
- 11:23how great you are, the more you're in danger of not
- 11:26changing, of not developing, and worse than that, of becoming a
- 11:30fake arrogant person. Because what you hear is that
- 11:33you're doing great and you were never told otherwise.
- 11:36All right, I can't tell you how many times I've been criticized.
- 11:39And at first I've been very upset at it.
- 11:42And over time it was the best thing for me over and over and
- 11:44over again in different areas. I'm sure you've had it in your
- 11:47life a million times too, when someone told you off and at
- 11:50first bothered you very much and even to a point that you didn't
- 11:54want anything to do with them. He was so upset at them.
- 11:57But over time it sank in one way or the other.
- 12:00Not in a passion way, not in a life destroying way, not in a
- 12:02very verbally abuse way, but in a way that they make you aware
- 12:06of something that yourself you couldn't have noticed.
- 12:08And if they were just yes men, then what would happen?
- 12:11You remain the same, believing that you're great.
- 12:14If I remain the same, believing these are going well, I have
- 12:17this arrogant mindset of myself. What is arrogance?
- 12:20Arrogance at his core is someone thinking that he's doing great.
- 12:24And someone thinking that it came from him has the perfect
- 12:27makeup of arrogance. And if all you have around you
- 12:29are yes man, and you know what? You're going to think that
- 12:33you're doing great, and then you're going to think it's you
- 12:35who did it. It's just the structure of life,
- 12:37right? It's your gifts, your talents,
- 12:39your money, your ideas. Everything's you, Sir.
- 12:42Oh, great. But at the end of the day, you
- 12:44become a hollow, fake, bloated, very big deal in your mind, but
- 12:50in nobody else's mind. And in their mind, you literally
- 12:53that balloon, you can be popped and nothing.
- 12:56You're floating up in the air and you really nothing you
- 12:58should be laying on the ground. There's a difference between
- 13:01your mind, the world's mind, if a person allows us.
- 13:03Whereas if a person allows fair criticism and if he lets people
- 13:07be honest with him, he's not so busy with credit.
- 13:09He doesn't need his name to be mentioned a million times.
- 13:12He doesn't need to be thanked A gazillion times and all that.
- 13:16Such a person, although originally a little bit of a
- 13:18tougher pill to swallow. He's watching other people get
- 13:21credit. He's watching other people be
- 13:22built up. I'm not getting that same
- 13:24prestige and maybe I deserve him more.
- 13:27Originally a tough pill to swallow, to swallow, but at the
- 13:30same time, it's the pill that allows you to remain you, to be
- 13:34genuine, to be real, to be honest with yourself and to
- 13:38continue working and growing. Because you're finding out, yes.
- 13:41So no, Am I doing the right thing?
- 13:42You're finding out the truth. If the world can guide me,
- 13:45great, but if I don't let the world guide me, then I'm in
- 13:47trouble 'cause I'm fooling myself.
- 13:50This is his idea and in my mind it's a very powerful idea
- 13:53because you have people out there that live this life and
- 13:56it's a complete and total such, whereas the other person may be
- 14:00a very big deal, but he takes criticism.
- 14:02He has a Good Wife, he has good parents, he has a good coworker,
- 14:06he has a good colleague, he has a good even employee.
- 14:10He has a good anyone around him. And that person remains genuine,
- 14:15remains a full real person, and he will continue to sort stop at
- 14:19this.
