- 0:02SPEAKER_00: NATO Chief's latest announcement sends shivers down the spine.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: The NATO Chiefs had a meeting,
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: let me throw on straight away the shared screen here because we've got so much
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: to talk about.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: So the NATO Chiefs then had their meeting,
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: it's all wrapped up now,
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: it has all finished and they had a huge amount to say and There was so much actually
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: that came out that I want to summarise their warnings.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Then I want to give you an update on what has happened in the last three days
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: because it's been somewhat staggering,
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: all of the developments just in the last three days that have actually taken place.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: So let's start with what they said then.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: NATO's highest military authority,
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: the Committee, met for the annual Military Committee Conference.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: They said NATO remains vigilant,
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: it remains ready and NATO will do what is necessary to defend every inch
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: of allied territory.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: So what did they announce then?
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Well they announced for the first time the requirements for civil preparedness
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: and this has gone out to all NATO nations.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Point number one, this was to evacuate civilian populations out of crisis or conflict zones.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Number two,
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: to manage a large number of casualties and maintain stocks of medicines,
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: medical equipment and blood.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Number three, ensure access to water, food and energy despite a prolonged crisis.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Point number four, maintain communications and essential services as best as possible.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Number five,
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: simultaneously move civilian populations and military forces
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: on constrained transportation networks.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: And point number six,
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: ensure government continuity with chain of command succession plans
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: and protected crisis centres.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So I think it's pretty clear what they are.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Getting everybody ready for at the moment then.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: And when they talk about these succession plans,
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I think they're referring to what happens when certain leaders and generals,
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: even leaders of countries, could even get taken out.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Which is absolutely crazy, but this is what they are preparing for.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: And if you didn't see,
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: because I wasn't streaming all of last week,
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: You can probably see I'm super jet-lagged,
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: three flights,
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: but I needed to get this stream out to give you all of this information.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: So if you didn't see this just a few days ago,
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: this was German hospitals are preparing for an influx of patients
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: and will be treating thousands of wounded.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: This came out of Bloomberg.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: So it was reported that medical facilities in Germany are preparing for
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: a Possible large-scale conflict within NATO,
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: the Bundeswehr anticipates up to a thousand wounded per day,
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: so hospitals are setting up shelters,
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: stockpiling supplies, and lengthening defenses against drones.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: So all of this is happening right now.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: So all the people that tell you all the time,
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: oh this is scaremongering,
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: this isn't happening, There's not going to be any conflict.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: We're not getting involved.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: You need to tell them and share these videos about what is actually happening.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: But some of them are absurd.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Some of the things that are coming out in the announcements and
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: the newspaper articles are absurd.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Some of them genuinely are trying to scare you.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: They are.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Here's an example of one I saw that was genuinely just trying to scare people.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: It says,
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: all the action you must take within 45 minutes of nuclear strike to
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: And it's telling you all about a nuclear strike that is coming and how you're going
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: to survive it.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: But another question that was coming in to me all of
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: the last few days really was Neil, why are there jets all over the sky?
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So why is the UK Covered in military jets from every country right now.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people were thinking,
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: I saw it all over socials,
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: that this big war has started and that all the jets were flying to bomb Russia
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: and all the other things.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: That is actually not what is happening.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: What's actually taking place is a precursor to that.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: So it's a NATO military exercise and it involves a lot of nations bringing their fighter jets.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: I thought it was interesting how they Call it a major defensive exercise to defend the nations.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Now, if you look at the,
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: and we'll bring it up in a second,
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: or the aircraft,
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: they're not defensive aircraft,
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: they're bombers and fighter jets and things like that.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: So exactly how they're going to defend is not quite clear, but this is the largest
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: It's called Cobra Warrior 2026.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: It's based at RAF Wellington near Lincoln and it's from now right through to the 2nd October.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: It involves aircraft from all sorts of countries,
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: the UK, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and the US.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Air Chief Marshal Sahave Smythe said Cobra Warrior gives us the opportunity
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: to practice our response to aggression.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: Now here's the thing I find really bizarre about that.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: He's saying it gives us an opportunity to practice our response to aggression.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: You look at all the runs and they're talking about these bombing runs and these strikes.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: They're all long-range, not all, but a lot of them are long-range bombing runs.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: So if they're long-range bombing runs, it doesn't sound very defensive.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Of course, they'll say it's to defend by bombing, etc.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: But this is what is actually taking place.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: They say that they're using aggression to fight aggression,
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: testing their defenses and ability to operate during the next real conflict.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: So if you look at what's taking,
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: in fact we've got a whole list,
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: let me show you the list and you can see for yourself.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: So here we go.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Aircraft taking part,
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: we've got a Typhoon,
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: fighter jets basically,
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: an F-35,
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: an F-15E Strike Eagle,
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: We got a P-8A Poseidon,
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Voyager Tanker Air Transport,
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: we got the Airbus A-400,
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: now some of these are transport like a C-17,
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: this is a heavy transport,
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Lockheed MC-130, you got Chinook, Chinook Transport, Pretty heavy goods as well.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: So you've got all of these going on right now.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: Another thing that was announced,
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: by the way,
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: was the Swiss government has just signed off measures to tighten their security.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: So there's a big post on this if you're interested as well.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: But yeah, Switzerland have also now jumped in amongst all of this.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Now, a couple of other stories...
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: That I think you'll want to know about.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: European leaders prepare public for intensified threat.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: This is what they are now saying.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Germany is preparing hospitals.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: We know about that one.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: We talked about it.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Lithuania has updated its evacuation plans.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: And NATO troops are now exercising in the Baltic region.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: We covered on the last video as well.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Belarusian forces are practicing their maneuvers.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: They've got tank divisions and all sorts near Lithuania.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: We also talked previously and if you haven't watched some of
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: the previous videos they are really important that you watch them because it's not
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: as if I cover as we're going along in each video so it's worth you going back
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: and actually watching those videos to see how this is progressing.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: So Polish Prime Minister gave a warning as well he said he expects this to start in
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: the next few months Although,
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure if you saw Emmanuel Macron,
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: the French president, what he said just the other day over the weekend.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: He actually summoned party leaders and even presidential candidates for 2027 for
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: an emergency meeting on Friday.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: And this was not just about the war with Russia-Ukraine
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: and how he thinks they're going to get involved.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: But this was also about Iran and the energy crisis.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: Now France is having a huge, huge problem at the moment.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: A massive, massive energy crisis.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: It's not really all over the media yet because
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: within Europe they don't want everyone to know what is coming.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: But this is going to be really, really severe.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: And that's all around what I talked about previously with the refined fuel.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: So this isn't your Brent or Crude, it's actually the refined product.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Your diesel,
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: your jet fuel,
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: even petrol to some regards,
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: but you're going to see a big hit on diesel and jet fuel.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Some places have already run out of diesel and I'm not saying that everyone's going
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: to run out and it's going to be this massive issue but eventually
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: if things don't correct then you could see a major major crisis,
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: a major issue with diesel and diesel feeds into the whole supply chain as well.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Quite interestingly all this talk about the jet fuel shortages and you know
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: the conflicts and everything else I was just in Doha,
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Qatar over the weekend and so I flew from the Isle of Man to Ireland to Dublin and
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: then from Dublin to Doha and then Doha to Bangkok and it was quite interesting
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: in Doha because I checked the warnings
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: and everything else beforehand funny enough it was my wife that wanted to go
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: to Doha I said Are you sure?
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: In Qatar, you seen what's going on?
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah, it's fine.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, we'll go.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: But it was quite interesting that the plane was pretty full going to Doha,
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: and I didn't expect that.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: But going from Doha into Southeast Asia was almost empty.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: So it's quite interesting.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: The hotels as well were completely empty.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: There were so many options.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you...
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: If you've ever seen when you book a flight.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: But as we were booking the flights,
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: a pop-up came up and said,
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: hey, would you like to stay in a five-star hotel for $40, $50 a night?
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: And we were like, yeah, okay, why not?
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Let's stay there for a night or two.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: But it was interesting being there because it was nothing like we've seen on the media.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Obviously, BBC and some of the others, they don't tell you the truth anyway.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: But it was nothing like that.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: We went around for a weekend.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: Didn't see any issues, didn't see any fireworks in the sky as it were.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: So it was quite interesting to actually be on the ground and see what's happening.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Although they're not really majorly part of the conflict with Iran.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: It seems to have shifted now to Saudi and Saudi is getting hammered at the moment.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I just thought I'd share that with you.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: I thought you might find that interesting,
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: what we're actually seeing with these different conflicts.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: And I know that Mark Rutte,
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: the NATO head,
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: is saying that what he's expecting to happen now is that As
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: the conflict intensifies,
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: he thinks that Russia's going to do a test,
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: basically,
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Article 5 because he's saying Putin doesn't believe it's real and
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: that people won't come to the rescue and everyone won't come together, etc.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: But he thinks what's going to happen is China is going to take Taiwan at
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: the same time and then Iran and the proxies are going to do some strikes and all
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: the other things.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: It's quite interesting what he was talking about because it's definitely...
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And that would cause a real problem for the West if all of that did happen at the same time.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: It would be very interesting.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: But the main thing that NATO are saying at the moment, the heads, is that this isn't years.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: You see how the timeline just keeps coming down.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: This isn't years now.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: They're saying it's months.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why I wanted to get onto some of the...
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: More propaganda sort of material that we're seeing.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: In fact, before we get on to that, I'll just finish off what Macron said.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: He said in recent weeks the threat has intensified and it's only a matter of time.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: The Finnish president told his country it was worth mentally preparing for something to happen.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: German and Swedish forces just carried out exercises near Gotland.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: This was after NATO just carried out other exercises near Kaliningrad.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: And US intelligence reports said that Moscow is planning a limited assault on
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: a NATO country very shortly.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: And they're saying this is why the CIA director flew to Russia to warn them against it.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: But there was another thing that I think is worth you seeing at the moment.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: And this was, remember we keep talking about this event that's going to take place.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: This actually just happened.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: And this was in the news.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: This is in the media.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: It's not hidden away.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: But this is in Russia.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: This is actually Moscow.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: You can see what happened.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: This was a huge barrage of, and I'll show you exactly where this was, from the border here.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: So this is the Ukraine and the Belarusian border.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: This is how far those drones had to fly and missiles to hit the refinery.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, it was a staggering distance for them to get this far.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: And I wanted to talk about that for a moment as well because we kept hearing
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: that I think it's kind of a bit like chess at the moment.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: This is military strategy going on.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: So you saw all of these announcements,
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: really heavy announcements, saying that Russia was about to cross the line.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: So we saw this last week.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: They said Russia's about to cross the line with a huge strike on Ukraine.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: And it could even send drones into other European nations, right?
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: So we were hearing that all of last week.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: And then yesterday, this was overnight, Ukraine actually sent the largest...
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: Whatever strike on Moscow,
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: it was 160 drones and missiles,
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: and it was absolutely,
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: from what the reports say,
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: a lot of them were intercepted,
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: but a huge number of them actually took out this major refinery in Moscow.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: So I thought to myself, is this going to be it?
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Is this going to be Putin saying, right, absolutely, Give Ukraine a massive barrage.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: And is this what NATO were waiting for?
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: So was it kind of a bait?
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Was it like, okay, let's do this massive strike and then Russia will do a massive strike back.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: And then we can say, see, look what actually took place here.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: And then this, is this the precursor for the next wave?
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: That seems to be,
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: it seems to be like this really big game of chess at the moment between how
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: the axes are playing this.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: And Again, we saw all of this coming out over.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: This was yesterday.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: European spy chiefs warned that Moscow is planning more decisive action against NATO.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: So they raised the possibility of an imminent Russian test on NATO.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: So this was yesterday, just as Ukraine launched that huge missile strike.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: And I will say,
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: because One thing that you don't often see in the media is that some of
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: the strikes are actually on apartment blocks and civilian infrastructure
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: and civilian places as well.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: So it's not just what you're seeing that Russia's doing it.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: It's actually both ways.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to give you the unbiased facts here.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: It's actually both ways.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: They don't actually tell you that some of these strikes are on apartment buildings
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: and residential areas where they're targeting Russian senior leadership and military
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: and things like that.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I was reading some of these reports.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: There was children and all sorts caught in the last strike.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: And again, you don't really see any of this.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: I think it's important that you know from both sides.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: So this was Robert Fico.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: The people always tell me that I pronounced his name wrong.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: But this is what he tweeted.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: I've just blown it up for you here.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: I am not and never will be among those looking for a pretext for war between NATO and Russia.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: He said he respects the Czech president as a former NATO general and
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: that he would like to fight.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: I would therefore appreciate it if he respects the fact that I prefer peace.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: He said he's always treated him with respect and due regard as the head of
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: the Czech Republic and he often tends to comment on his work.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: This time he took issue with my position on attempts to provoke a military conflict
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: between NATO and Russia.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Now, it doesn't exactly talk about what was said or why,
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: but I wonder if this is what I was just referring to.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: This is what I'm kind of leading with here.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: He then talks about, as a general, he wants to fight.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: And I think he's correct in that, because that is what a general is trained for, is warfare.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: So he says, I hope he respects my commitment to peace.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: And he also sort of reiterated that there are other options around Article 5.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of other options.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: He said that...
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Several options for demonstrating solidarity.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: So there's other things that can happen rather than just warfare.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: Now this is the sort of propaganda that I'm talking about with
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: the BBC has started it very heavily now.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: A war may be coming, are we psychologically ready?
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: Now this is a huge,
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: look at the image as well,
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: this is a huge article so I'm not going to read it all out or we'll be here for half
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: an hour.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: But I did pull out a couple of key things and then I'll show you a couple of images
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: that are interesting.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: So a couple of the key points then.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: An army of 70,000 is simply not going to cut the mustard in the sort
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: of war we're going to have to face.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: That was General Sir Richard Sherriff.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: He said,
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: I don't see how we could generate the military capability needed without some form
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: of a call-up.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: So, that's the first thing I want you to understand there,
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: is that they are talking about a military call-up.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: We've talked a lot now,
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: I've got email,
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I've got letter from the British Army,
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: they've changed, they've completely changed the social contract that existed.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: How, you might ask.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: I wrote about this in my Friday newsletter.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: If you're not getting that, you can get the link below to get that.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: But I wrote about how the contract has been betrayed by
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: the British military ex-serving personnel.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: So we signed a contract.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: I signed mine when I was 17 years old.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: It's when I first signed that.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: And you sign it to do your time and then you go on to the reserve.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: But what they've done now is they've said,
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: well, we're going to recall soldiers up to 65 years old.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: But that's not what people signed up for.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: And you start to look into it.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Well, how can they do that when the law said this?
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Well, they are the law.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: The government is the law.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: They change the law and therefore it becomes law.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: It's...
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Absolutely scandalous that they can do things like this.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Let me continue on.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: He said in terms of the call-up,
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: the Norwegian model is the one that he thinks that we will adopt.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: So this is every school leaver, 16 years old, is registered for conscription.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: I've got to show you this.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: I've got to get it on screen or you're not going to believe it.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: Every school...
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: It's registered for conscription.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: It says it there.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: And they go and do a year's training, after which they go on to university, etc, etc.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: This is what he is saying.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: You just can't believe this.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: The case has to be made honestly by political leaders who must really look
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: the population in the eye and say this has got to be done for us to be secure.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: No, it's all a lie.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: They're just making this stuff up.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: What do you need to be secure?
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: You mind your own business.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: You strengthen your own defenses.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: You strengthen your own economy.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: You don't weaken it.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: The economy is getting weaker and weaker and weaker by the day.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: The military is weak.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: They've done this to themselves, in effect.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: And they're saying the way to strengthen this is to get all the school leavers and
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: to get the old...
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: So, ah, what are you doing there?
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: So you're taking the young men And you're taking the older men.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: So all the men with the military experience, you're going to take them, okay.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: And then all the young, fit fighting men out of school, you're going to take them.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: This is a very interesting strategy.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: I wonder what the idea of this is.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: And then everyone else is going to be conscripted and have training and all the rest of it.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Seems very unusual.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: Now the other thing I wanted to show you
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: So this is the professor who's in the article.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: He said, the belief that we are under threat is key, says the psychologist Jim Orford.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: He's the professor of clinical and community psychology at the University of Birmingham.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: It is what I call simplistic thinking.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: In order to contemplate the possibility of going to war, we've got to think in simplistic terms.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: In terms of enemies and heroes, we've got to think of Russia as an enemy.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: The narratives are all simplified.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Where did he get this from?
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Huh, I wonder.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: This is the Influence Wargaming Handbook.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: From the Ministry of Defence.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: And it is big, let me just tell you.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: I haven't even read the whole thing.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: It's so large.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: But this is what it's all about.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: It's war gaming and how to prepare everyone.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: Now, I thought it was interesting that you never see white men like this on the BBC.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: And I thought, wow, they've started putting white men in all of these military...
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: Articles and posts and all the other things.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Fascinating.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: But I thought, that's not very diverse, is it?
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: So what I did for you all is I just updated this slightly so that you can, there we go.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: We're getting this a bit more diverse.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: We've got some more diversity coming in here.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Here we go, a little bit more.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: And then of course,
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: we cannot forget We've got to get this chap in with his makeup and lipstick.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: So we've updated that for the BBC just so that,
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: you know, they make sure they hit their diversity quota there.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Okay, so how do you actually prepare people to accept a war then?
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: How do you get them to accept a war?
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: Well, this is all textbook really.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: You designate an enemy, you know, Invasion is going to be an invasion.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: It's going to be a direct threat.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: It's not years anymore.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: It's months.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: You transform the conflict now into a moral battleground.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: It's all about good versus evil.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: And this goes on and on and on.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: You get the budgets ready.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: You prepare the civilians.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: You tell them to prepare for 72 hours of a crisis.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: You prepare the youth.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: You have a target of youth that are going to be trained.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: You start to get into the schools.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: You talk of sacrifice and sacrifice for one's country to protect the children.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: It's all about safeguarding the children.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: And then you show your strength by showing that you're willing to fight.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Ah boy.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: Now this isn't really a shock because if we look at Do you recall the global risk landscape?
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: This was from the Global Risk Report 2026.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: And we talked about the two highest risks here.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: One was a geoeconomic confrontation and the other was armed conflict.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: So combining these together, you've got 32% risk, which is pretty much where we are now.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: We're at this 32% risk scale.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: And what have we seen?
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: So we've got Germany preparing 1,000 wounded soldiers a day.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: We've got Poland and Lithuania working on mass evacuation, possible conflict now.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Sweden and Germany are rehearsing the deployment of 1,500 troops to Gotland.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: Finland is getting its population ready.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Latvia is getting ready.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Switzerland just did their new response strategy.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: The UK is preparing the population.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Luxembourg is preparing
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Crazy.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: And the Liberal Democrats in the UK,
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: if you're not from the UK,
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: that's one of the political parties,
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: they have called for an emergency register right now.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: So they want all civilians to sign up to this emergency register to show
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: that they are willing to fight and lay down their life for the country.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Isn't that interesting from that political party?
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, very, very good.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: So, wow, wow, what a crazy one.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: All the way from NATO's latest announcements, getting everybody ready.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: It's just bizarre.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: They said they're going to do whatever is possible,
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: but right now they're focused on the evacuation of,
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: this is their current focus,
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: evacuation of civilian populations out of crisis or conflict zones.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: That's what they're working on now.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Ladies and gents, we have, how have we got to this point, hey?
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: It's only a matter of time now.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: They're saying it was years.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Now they're saying it's months.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: So you've got months to prepare for this.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: That's what they're telling you.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: My goodness.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: By the way,
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: if you missed my Friday newsletter,
