- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry Katy and Josh Max one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's in here in the studio for about the past
- 0:06Speaker 2: ten minutes or so, just kind of catching up about
- 0:08Speaker 2: our weekends. A lot of boobtube watching, I'll tell you
- 0:11Speaker 2: that much. Oh yeah, did you catch some movies this weekend?
- 0:14Speaker 3: He did. I wasn't feeling all that great, so, like,
- 0:16Speaker 3: my whole weekend was spent on the couch and I
- 0:20Speaker 3: just watched one movie after another. It's funny when you
- 0:23Speaker 3: start seeing movies that were from like the nineties and
- 0:26Speaker 3: earlier immediately unlike, these people aren't going to be distracted
- 0:30Speaker 3: by cell phones in this movie. I love it already,
- 0:32Speaker 3: like so I kind of gravitate towards those so already.
- 0:36Speaker 3: This weekend I watched Muriel's Wedding and Fried Green Tomatoes,
- 0:40Speaker 3: which I hadn't never.
- 0:42Speaker 4: I know, I was.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Dolly's in that.
- 0:45Speaker 3: No, no, no, that's uh Jessica, Jessica, Candy's in it.
- 0:49Speaker 3: You've got Kathy Bates in it, a lot of you know,
- 0:53Speaker 3: I Mary Masterson or something. There's a lot of people
- 0:57Speaker 3: people doing that, a lot of very famous people on
- 1:00Speaker 3: Fried Green Tomatoes. But also Muriel's Wedding that is such
- 1:03Speaker 3: an underrated like so.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Here was that one the Wall.
- 1:07Speaker 3: That was nineties as well, but definitely just one I'd
- 1:10Speaker 3: never seen.
- 1:11Speaker 4: So I'm like, why not.
- 1:12Speaker 3: We're sitting here, we're not feeling well. Laughter is the
- 1:15Speaker 3: best medicine. Might as well make it happen.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Right, Hey, I can't, I can't poke fun at all.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Family movie Night Friday Night, we went back to We
- 1:22Speaker 2: got in the Dolorean, went back to nineteen ninety five
- 1:24Speaker 2: See and watched while you were sleeping with a sweet
- 1:28Speaker 2: little Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman and that.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Guy with the really big eyebrows.
- 1:33Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It was a it was a good movie. It's cute,
- 1:37Speaker 1: a cute factor of like, you know eight point zero.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I love the Italian dude that falls in love with
- 1:42Speaker 5: her in that and that lives in her apartment and he's, oh, yeah, yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 5: you want to go on a couple of dates with
- 1:46Speaker 5: me that he's trying.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah stuff. Yeah, it's a good movie. Knickknack picked it.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Her and my daughter wanted a rom com for the evening,
- 1:56Speaker 2: so trying to find one that's you know, rated PG
- 2:00Speaker 2: that my daughter can watch. That's the when they settled
- 2:02Speaker 2: on and it was pretty tame, except there's you know,
- 2:06Speaker 2: the conversation and they're about having one testicle.
- 2:08Speaker 1: But other than that, Oh I forgot about that. Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 1: that's right.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Maybe a hard conversation you don't have with the young child.
- 2:13Speaker 1: She just got done with the growing and changing. She
- 2:15Speaker 1: knows the bits and pieces.
- 2:16Speaker 4: She's gonna learn today, that's all.
- 2:18Speaker 2: But you're right, I like watching those movies from the nineties,
- 2:21Speaker 2: And that's a.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Good question then asking you how your daughter, who's ten, right,
- 2:25Speaker 3: and she about ten, So how did she feel about
- 2:28Speaker 3: watching that movie? Was there anything that stuck out to
- 2:31Speaker 3: her that's different than today?
- 2:33Speaker 2: Mmmmm no, no, no, she didn't.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Nothing caught our attention.
- 2:40Speaker 2: No, okay, it was cute just to watch her giggle
- 2:42Speaker 2: like through stuff, you know, because she's trying. I've noticed
- 2:45Speaker 2: in her she's just kind of starting to pick up
- 2:47Speaker 2: on like little romantic things or the way people look
- 2:51Speaker 2: or the cutest thing she said not too long ago
- 2:54Speaker 2: is Nick Knakin and her were watching Smallville. They had
- 2:57Speaker 2: started up small Ville. Oh wow, with the the you know,
- 3:00Speaker 2: the guy that plays Clark Kent, and she, out of
- 3:05Speaker 2: nowhere said he's got a really good jawline.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Oh no, look, excuse me, it's start.
- 3:18Speaker 1: He's gotta go. You just we're going back to SpongeBob.
- 3:23Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Every day we like to give you the opportunity.
- 3:26Speaker 2: To catch up on some sports action with JKJ.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I got a couple of things really quick.
- 3:33Speaker 2: There's a survey out this morning of two thousand Americans
- 3:36Speaker 2: and they're revealing just how serious this ding dang country
- 3:40Speaker 2: is about ice cream.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Now, nine of these people say that.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They eat at least one scoop weekly, averaging eleven scoops
- 3:49Speaker 2: per week.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Add that up, it's about two.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Point five billion gallons of ice cream consumers consume each summer.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And now if you were to do the math on that,
- 4:02Speaker 2: we could fill one hundred and thirteen football stadiums with
- 4:06Speaker 2: ice cream each and every summer.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how much we love the ice creams.
- 4:11Speaker 4: We've got a whole song about screaming for it. So, yes,
- 4:14Speaker 4: we do love our ice cream.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm a I'm a peanut butter chocolate slut.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, the Reese is kind.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I like the bit and Jerry's one that has
- 4:29Speaker 2: the peanut butter swirl. One of them's got a peanut
- 4:31Speaker 2: butter core. I think that's what they call it me.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'll eat anything with a peanut butter core.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah you will.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I've heard.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Explains that restraining order to I like Rocky Road when
- 4:42Speaker 3: I was growing up. It's my favorite, and now I
- 4:45Speaker 3: kind of get I'd like the like ten roof Sunday,
- 4:48Speaker 3: do you know what I mean.
- 4:49Speaker 4: So that's got like the fudge squirrels.
- 4:51Speaker 3: And like the piece of almost like you know, the cones,
- 4:54Speaker 3: the Sunday cones that you get.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Oh, it's got chunks of cones and it's like ice cream.
- 4:58Speaker 3: And then it's got all of the stuff of that
- 5:00Speaker 3: cone that you get in there that's filled.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Cone or just like the sugar cone, the sugar cone.
- 5:06Speaker 4: The sugar cone. But you get him in the freezer aisle.
- 5:08Speaker 2: There the drumsticks, drumsticks, I'm a drumstick.
- 5:15Speaker 4: And then the drumstick in it.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to have four of them at a
- 5:21Speaker 2: time though to be satisfying. Yeah, the drumstick in the
- 5:25Speaker 2: tip of it's filled with the hard chocolate. I'm a
- 5:29Speaker 2: hard chocolate okay.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Now from ice cream to chicken. More people are
- 5:42Speaker 2: out and about here in America testing out some of
- 5:45Speaker 2: our food and there's this Australian dude who was here
- 5:48Speaker 2: for the World Cup and he.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Checked out it was Popeye's Fried Chicken. And there's a
- 5:53Speaker 1: little bit of audio of him talking about it, which
- 5:55Speaker 1: I thought was quite charming.
- 5:56Speaker 6: A restaurant in America col popas a chicken, biscuit, chips,
- 6:01Speaker 6: coleslaw is six dollars. How does this business even work?
- 6:07Speaker 6: How is it even open? And there's a drink machine
- 6:10Speaker 6: there of course, unlimited ray phils. In fact, why is
- 6:13Speaker 6: Popaea's chicken in Australia If Popey's if you came here,
- 6:17Speaker 6: you and I'm in.
- 6:18Speaker 1: This country, he raved about it.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I had to chop that down for like ten minutes. Yeah,
- 6:22Speaker 2: about how great Popeyes was sounds like me.
- 6:24Speaker 3: When I moved down the street from one, Like for real,
- 6:26Speaker 3: I was down the block from a Pope's Chicken.
- 6:28Speaker 4: That sounded like all the things I said.
- 6:31Speaker 2: He went off on the drink machine for like three minutes,
- 6:34Speaker 2: like he was so fascinated by how many drink choices
- 6:36Speaker 2: there are.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I imagine unlimited refill.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Yeah, imagine coming from a country that doesn't have this
- 6:41Speaker 5: and you go to that that drink fill station that
- 6:44Speaker 5: has the touch screen. Yeah, you automatically get like eighty different.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Toys choices science.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Oh, I would love to feel that for the first time.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I know, well, now he knows why there's an obesity
- 6:54Speaker 2: epidemic here in America.
- 6:56Speaker 4: I'd be careful for that drink machine.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, it's on you, buddy.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Sure, well, all right, what else is going on?
- 7:03Speaker 4: Is sports?
- 7:04Speaker 5: Well, like you just said, I mean, the World Cup
- 7:05Speaker 5: really is the gift that keeps on giving. And it
- 7:07Speaker 5: seems like somehow, in one way or another, it is
- 7:10Speaker 5: like healing the world because there are so many people
- 7:13Speaker 5: that have come here, and USA is taking on Bosnia
- 7:17Speaker 5: and Herzegovina in the round of thirty two this Wednesday,
- 7:20Speaker 5: and a Bosnian man was interviewed about his time being
- 7:24Speaker 5: here and he's like, it has literally been the best
- 7:27Speaker 5: time of his entire life.
- 7:29Speaker 7: I haven't had a bad day since March twenty sixth.
- 7:31Speaker 7: We beat Wales March twenty six and then a week
- 7:33Speaker 7: later we beat Italy. Swear to God man, every single day,
- 7:36Speaker 7: coffee with my boys, drinks with my boys. My girlfriend
- 7:38Speaker 7: of six and a half years broke up with me.
- 7:40Speaker 7: I miss you a little bit, but yo, I'm telling
- 7:42Speaker 7: you not a bad day. She broke up with me
- 7:44Speaker 7: the day after Wales. Every day has been a good day.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Bro.
- 7:47Speaker 7: She picked the perfect time to break up with me
- 7:49Speaker 7: because World Cup and all is good. Dog.
- 7:51Speaker 5: It has been the most dogging bro A dog and bro.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Which by the way, Bosnians can speak perfect English.
- 7:56Speaker 4: I guess this dude's from.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Bosnia spending time in the US, I say, And it
- 8:01Speaker 5: sounds like he's from Detroit.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Like, what the heck is that?
- 8:04Speaker 3: It's so amazing though, to hear people come here and
- 8:07Speaker 3: talk so highly of our country. I think we all
- 8:09Speaker 3: needed that, we all need to be united like this.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I mean the fact that they are loving America and
- 8:15Speaker 3: it's giving us like rose colored glasses too.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It's the best. They wrap it up because it's cutting
- 8:21Speaker 1: in my nightly news time though. Yeah, it's cutting into
- 8:25Speaker 1: my Dave Fraser time and I need me some Dave Fras.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's what you care about. You could wrap it up, dog, bro.
- 8:31Speaker 4: You want more news?
- 8:32Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 8:32Speaker 4: Dog, come on, Bro. From the peaks and Pipe to
- 8:37Speaker 4: the pulse of Pearl Street. What's good world?
- 8:40Speaker 1: This is where the buzz meets the altitude.
- 8:43Speaker 8: Check it out JKJS mile High Hype on mixed one
- 8:46Speaker 8: hundred starts.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's brought to you by Mile High Appliance.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Celebrate the Fourth of July with amazing savings throughout their showrooms.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Get a top of the line ge French door Staler's
- 8:57Speaker 2: refrigerator for only twenty four to forty nine.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Find them at Mountain High Bliance dot com.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Well, my butt was in the seat this weekend for
- 9:05Speaker 2: Toy Story five.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It kept the box office. Crown made about seventy million
- 9:11Speaker 1: dollars this weekend.
- 9:12Speaker 2: There was another flop on the Heels and Masters of
- 9:15Speaker 2: the Universe.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Supergirl had a thirty eight million dollar opening, And you know,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I want to see it, but I think that's a
- 9:24Speaker 1: wait till it gets to Netflix to say it.
- 9:26Speaker 5: But do you think right now superhero movies are it's
- 9:29Speaker 5: like overkilled?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah it could be. Well, I'll tell you a Toy
- 9:32Speaker 1: Story was overkilled.
- 9:34Speaker 2: The one word to describe that movie unnecessary. What oh yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I mean necessary is a pure money grab. This story
- 9:45Speaker 2: was not that good. It was just a that could
- 9:48Speaker 2: have been a straight to Disney plus.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Okay, so is this just nostalgia everyone speaking from because
- 9:55Speaker 3: I've heard so many people say this is like the
- 9:57Speaker 3: best one since the original. They're so many pieces in
- 10:01Speaker 3: it that makes so much sense right now, Like.
- 10:03Speaker 2: It's relevant because it deals with the kids and the
- 10:07Speaker 2: screens and the lack of friendship out there because all
- 10:10Speaker 2: the kids are parked on their screens and I liked that.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But it was just me and my daughter that went.
- 10:14Speaker 2: It was just the two of us, and we've had
- 10:16Speaker 2: some conversations about you know, screen time and all that at.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Home, and it was nice for her to see that.
- 10:22Speaker 2: You know, now in movie form, maybe it gets through
- 10:25Speaker 2: a little better.
- 10:26Speaker 1: But other than that.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Grab, I'm gonna tell you what, there's nothing but kids
- 10:33Speaker 2: in that theater.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It pissed me out.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Yeah you expect you can see your bro homie hanging.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Out at the my bro homie. Yeah, bro homiees bro fine.
- 10:46Speaker 1: There were so many kids in that oh god.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And they were all talking and.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Crying, chewing loudly. Why are there so many kids in here?
- 10:59Speaker 4: They were using words?
- 11:01Speaker 1: What I will say it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: There was one moment it made me kind of giggle because,
- 11:07Speaker 2: you know, after the previews were done and everything, they
- 11:09Speaker 2: dim the lights really dark, and there's like a moment
- 11:11Speaker 2: where it's just pitch black and they're right before the previews,
- 11:14Speaker 2: and there are other stuff kicks up, you know, and
- 11:17Speaker 2: as it went dark, you hear one little kid.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Go, I can't see anything. Adults just kind of started
- 11:26Speaker 1: that in the way he said.
- 11:28Speaker 4: I can't.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah anyway.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So if you're I mean whatever, if you're a
- 11:37Speaker 2: parent looking to take your kid out for some fun,
- 11:39Speaker 2: that's fine, But honestly, I would save your cash.
- 11:41Speaker 1: There's another fifty dollars day for me to go to
- 11:43Speaker 1: the movie.
- 11:44Speaker 4: It's so expensive. So you're saying, just wait till it
- 11:46Speaker 4: hits the string.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be a Disney plus in no time.
- 11:50Speaker 6: All right.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Rumor House of the Stevie Nicks and Tim m McGraw
- 11:53Speaker 2: are reportedly set to perform at Tat's wedding, and some
- 11:58Speaker 2: luxury wedding plan estimating this wedding is probably gonna cost
- 12:02Speaker 2: over twenty million dollars, right woe.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's going on.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And then this story about Noah Kan He sounds exactly
- 12:13Speaker 2: like our office manager here at work.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Tick is her name. She's the best.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Noah Khan had to tweet out to all of his
- 12:22Speaker 2: fans to please stop pooping on the floor in the
- 12:26Speaker 2: restrooms at his concerts, just like tick our office manager
- 12:32Speaker 2: who is constantly messaging the all staff to clean up
- 12:36Speaker 2: the bathrooms.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Essentially, let's just say.
- 12:40Speaker 2: The rest Yeah, we're not allowed to use the restrooms
- 12:43Speaker 2: up front because somebody pooped on the floor. So anyway,
- 12:46Speaker 2: Noah Khan had to do the same thing, and he
- 12:48Speaker 2: went on to say, you know, I've pooped my pants
- 12:50Speaker 2: while I'm on stage because I'm dedicated to my craft. Y'all,
- 12:53Speaker 2: can at least hit the toilets when you're in the bathrooms.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Because think of the people that have to clean that
- 12:58Speaker 1: stuff up.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, So anyway, he actually had the tweet out
- 13:03Speaker 2: to his fans to.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Not go on the bathroom floor.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Well, and I know, like musicians had to tell people
- 13:09Speaker 3: not to do that while they're waiting in their spot
- 13:12Speaker 3: at like music shows, right, Like Olivia Rodrigo, Yeah, exactly
- 13:16Speaker 3: made a.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Post about how she can smell the first two rows
- 13:19Speaker 2: of the crowd. Yeah, because so many people wear depens
- 13:23Speaker 2: because they don't want to leave or can't leave, so
- 13:26Speaker 2: they just soil themselves at the concerts.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And then a few other artists have tweeted out to
- 13:30Speaker 2: not throw those then up on stage because they've had
- 13:33Speaker 2: that happen where people throw their depins up on the stages?
- 13:37Speaker 4: What happened to bras and panties?
- 13:39Speaker 6: Like?
- 13:39Speaker 2: What it's the new bros and panties super absorbent?
- 13:43Speaker 1: Man, have some of my DNA?
- 13:45Speaker 6: I love you?
- 13:46Speaker 4: What did they throw when they like them? Right?
- 13:51Speaker 1: That's so gross? Anyway, shout out to Noakhan. All right,
- 13:54Speaker 1: what's going on locally?
- 13:55Speaker 4: Okay?
- 13:56Speaker 3: Well, this is hilarious a story coming out of Steamboat Springs, because.
- 14:00Speaker 4: What if you're getting ready to start your day.
- 14:01Speaker 3: You got to your coffee cup in Handkarkey's ready to go.
- 14:04Speaker 4: You open your passenger.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Door and there's a bear sitting in your bear I
- 14:10Speaker 3: saw this car pickup truck.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Yeah, there's video of it.
- 14:13Speaker 3: So Andy Kerrigan was walking around the front of his
- 14:16Speaker 3: home and he's going towards his car with some stuff
- 14:18Speaker 3: when he opens a passenger door and he starts to
- 14:20Speaker 3: get in it like nothing's wrong, and then he realizes
- 14:23Speaker 3: there's a big old bear in his truck.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I'm trying to take a nap here, dude.
- 14:26Speaker 3: You can see the moment in which he realizes the
- 14:29Speaker 3: severity of the situation and he jumps back. The bear
- 14:33Speaker 3: is not deterred at art all, Like, the bear continues
- 14:37Speaker 3: to rummage through the truck.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Oh, Andy's there with a pole trying.
- 14:40Speaker 3: To post it at two by four, trying to get
- 14:43Speaker 3: him going, and he's not having it. He's just like
- 14:45Speaker 3: you are messing with me. I am like in the
- 14:47Speaker 3: middle of my rummaging journey right now. But the bear
- 14:51Speaker 3: finally did kind of scurry away, and you see Andy
- 14:54Speaker 3: just be like, oh my gosh, that could have been
- 14:57Speaker 3: so much worse. But I imagine, like in Steamboat Spray,
- 15:00Speaker 3: you would just expect, like you'd be a little bit
- 15:02Speaker 3: more aware of bears, right the same same up in
- 15:06Speaker 3: the high country is where you're going to see him
- 15:08Speaker 3: for the most part. But man, for them to be
- 15:10Speaker 3: in your tra ruck, like these bears have no shame anymore.
- 15:14Speaker 1: No surprise, definitely eactly.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Man, this is a kind of a funny story.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Well it's coming out of Wealth County and it's a
- 15:22Speaker 3: thirty one year old man who was arrested after allegedly
- 15:26Speaker 3: getting into a fight with his family members. This happened
- 15:29Speaker 3: on Saturday. Then to really prove his point, he killed
- 15:33Speaker 3: the chicken and then started to throw flower pots at deputies.
- 15:37Speaker 1: What he killed a chicken I know he also.
- 15:45Speaker 3: He did it to really just you know, kind of
- 15:47Speaker 3: freak out his families. But he broke a fence, fled
- 15:50Speaker 3: the scene, and then he returned to the scene. That's
- 15:53Speaker 3: when he started throwing the flower pots at deputies and whatnot.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And they tried to take him into custody, and then
- 15:58Speaker 3: he started throwing wood at him and they had to
- 16:01Speaker 3: actually taste him to gain.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Control of it. He was going kind of nuts.
- 16:05Speaker 1: If you can imagine. They grilled chicken. I know, tell me, yeah,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I don't want the chicken to go to waste. Yeah,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I to die for nothing.
