- 0:38There's a bunch of interesting DMX related Rough Riders stuff
- 0:42up in Rockland County, New York. God rest his soul, God.
- 0:44Rest RIP. You know a lot of fun songs no
- 0:47one will get you up like DMX back in the day.
- 0:50Party up, you know, comes to mind right off the bat, you
- 0:53know, but I did want to get into it.
- 0:55You know, Nick Goody, I was just texting with him on the break.
- 0:58He's still driving back in his truck from college game, so he's
- 1:02not going to be able to join us for goodies.
- 1:03Bag of balls. That's fine.
- 1:05But you know, I did want to talk about, I had a couple of stories

- 2:02video, you can see all the video stuff that we do and there's a
- 2:05lot of cool graphics that we're doing on here.
- 2:07I don't think a lot of sports shows are as interactive and
- 2:10graphic wise, kind of like an old show of Sports Center while
- 2:13trying to be funny like we do out there in the market today.
- 2:17If you guys are watching, you guys already know.
- 2:19So please keep doing what we're doing, Tell some people about
- 2:23the show. But I did want to bring up, you
- 2:26know, arrows on a cruise ship and I wanted to tell you a
- 2:29couple of stories I have from being on cruise.
- 2:31You know, I actually ended up on a cruise because I was hungover,
- 2:34called into an infomercial to buy a colander that turned into
- 2:39a vegetable strainer, a steamer. What?
- 2:42Yeah, this is a true story. So I woke up one day, I must
- 2:45have been in my early 20s or mid 20s, and I I saw one of those
- 2:49infomercials. You know how it is like
- 2:51sometimes you wake up and like the TV still on from last night
- 2:54and you see like some ridiculous infomercial and then you will go
- 2:58like, oh man, I need that. And you never call.
- 3:02You never call because, you know, it's stupid.
- 3:04But I decided to call that time. And then as I'm on the phone,
- 3:07they're like, oh, guess what? We're going to give you these
- 3:09great free kitchen knives too. And I go, Oh my God, this keeps
- 3:13getting better. And then before I know it, I won
- 3:16a free cruise. Can you believe it, Jabba?
- 3:19I had won a free cruise just from calling in.
- 3:22Yes, the cruise itself was free at the bare minimum price.
- 3:26I had to fly down to Fort Lauderdale and I had to then,
- 3:29you know, none of the drinks were included.
- 3:32So let's just say it wasn't a free trip, but it was a cheaper
- 3:35trip. And I did go to go on a cruise
- 3:37and it wasn't so bad. I would say it was pretty
- 3:39bootleg. I don't know how I survived some
- 3:43of that. So the hot tub we get there was
- 3:47broken. We're spending all the money on
- 3:49drinks. I think at some point we ended
- 3:52up like looking for like something to smoke and we ended
- 3:56up dealing with some really shady people that, you know,
- 4:00we're walking out of by the hour motels somewhere in Fort
- 4:05Lauderdale. It was pretty seedy, speedy, not
- 4:07something you would have liked. It was on par with the hijinks
- 4:11that you saw on Bourbon Street when we were down there for the
- 4:13Super Bowl with them trying to pull you in and trying to get
- 4:16your money before you even know what happened.
- 4:18Pretty wild on that trip. Another one, I had ruined a
- 4:22relationship that I was in years ago.
- 4:24We found out that we didn't like each other because we were on a
- 4:27cruise together. It worked out pretty quickly.
- 4:29I wanted to have fun, she didn't.
- 4:31And I wanted to eat the food, the delicious food and drink the
- 4:34delicious wine that we paid for it.
- 4:36And I had a great time, but. That's fair.
- 4:39That relationship didn't last very long.
- 4:42I would recommend though, if you ever go on a cruise, do like the
- 4:46Chef's Table that they have on the cruise because then you get
- 4:49like a private dinner and they have wine pairings with like
- 4:52specially made meals to you. It's a little bit more money,
- 4:55but it's I tell you, it's a really cool experience.
- 4:58Didn't work out that relationship I had, but I'll
- 5:00still never forget. It was pretty good, pretty good
- 5:01meal all and all. So I got that and the only other
- 5:06story I really wanted to talk about four years ago on this
- 5:09day. I'll see if I can't get her over
- 5:12here. I think she's asleep.
- 5:14But I rescued my wife and I rescued our dog Sandy from a
- 5:18shelter in Tampa, FL, and it was the best decision we ever made.
- 5:23Look, I know you can go get especially, you know, a special
- 5:27breed of dog and spend thousands of dollars and all that stuff.
- 5:32All these dogs need, need love and the amount of love that
- 5:35we've gotten from this dog that we rescued.
- 5:37You know, I, I can't say enough. She's such a sweetheart.
- 5:40She's asleep right now. She's not going to get up for
- 5:42me. She'll she'll get she might come
- 5:44on by the end of the show. You never know.
- 5:45She got needy. I have to take her out after
- 5:47every episode, you know, at like midnight for her to like walk
- 5:51around for a second, maybe pee, maybe not.
- 5:53And then, you know, come back home because I'm I'm done.
- 5:56It's time for me to walk her. That's that's how it is.
- 5:58But I'll tell you if you've ever thought about getting a dog,
- 6:02really look into a, an animal rescue shelter near you.
- 6:06Start there, guys. Absolutely start there.
- 6:09It's the right thing to do. These animals it's, it's cool to
- 6:13like, I will, I will say Alana Rizzo is really good at that and
- 6:21Alana is a great friend of ours and yeah, it's crazy.
- 6:27Like I've, I've never been an animal person because I just
- 6:33haven't been like I raised Bulldogs when I was younger.
- 6:37Jordan Cinnamon, I'll never forget him.
- 6:42And I got Bailey now. I got Bailey now.
- 6:47And it's just like, it's just, it's, you're 100% right.
- 6:51It's like there's so many of these dogs that don't.
- 6:56And I worked the SPCA and that and it's just, it is so
- 7:03important because it means so much to so many people, not only
- 7:11just us as adults, but like our kids and stuff like that.
- 7:18And I think that just means means the world to everybody.
- 7:23Speedy, you're a dog person. We know that you know, like, do
- 7:26you have any experience with like rescuing animals or you
- 7:29know, well, we. We know he's a dog.
- 7:31Person I wasn't, I wasn't the one involved in the process.
- 7:33My family's had a series of dogs over the years when I when I was
- 7:37kids my my cousins had. One that hey, can I be the Ariel
- 7:40in this? Like what about the shower
- 7:42session? What?
- 7:44The full he's saying, you know, like a little.
- 7:46Bit too much. I'm not the one bathing them
- 7:48either, Jabba, but nevertheless, yeah, my family's always had
- 7:52various dogs. My cousins had one that passed
- 7:55when I was very young. My my grandparents, both my
- 7:58mother's side of the families had three different three
- 8:01different dogs over the course of my life, including the one
- 8:03that I'm I'm with now. I'm living with my grandmother
- 8:05right now, three different dogs there and my family, my
- 8:08immediate family, we got ours in 2014 because the owner, the
- 8:13owner couldn't, she was traveling a lot, so she couldn't
- 8:16give him really the best care that you would want for
- 8:18somebody. Was about a year old at the
- 8:20time. And it was interesting because
- 8:22when I was, this was after my freshman year of college, we
- 8:24actually met him and several other dogs in this dog park in
- 8:28it was around Central Park, around that area.
- 8:32We met them, played with him for a little bit and a couple weeks
- 8:36later we got him. This was 2014.
- 8:38We had him and he's still, he's still in my family's house in
- 8:41Connecticut ever since 11 years. Later.
- 8:43That's wonderful. Yeah, so that's a we we didn't
- 8:46have one for a while because again, it was it was tough with
- 8:49the kids being very young at the time, all, all my brothers being
- 8:52very young at the time. So my youngest brother, Aiden,
- 8:55when we got our dog, his name is Jake, would have been 11 at the
- 9:01time that we got him. I was in college.
- 9:03And yeah, we've had him ever since.
- 9:06That's really cool, man. And I just want to reiterate it,
- 9:09you know, like I didn't have, I didn't have dogs growing up.
- 9:11I didn't have any animals growing up.
- 9:13I think my mom's best attempt at having a pet was like a fish you
- 9:16want at a County Fair that lived like for 36 hours, you know, so
- 9:22we didn't really have pets. But I got to give credit to my
- 9:25wife Crystal, you know, she really, you know, she had a dog
- 9:28when we first met, really kind of like melted my heart and that
- 9:31now I'm a dog person. Like I really wasn't.
- 9:34And it's official. There's no coming back from it
- 9:36whatsoever. And I think we lost Jabba for a
- 9:39second, but we only have one segment left tonight, You know,
- 9:42without Errol, you know, it's, it's a little bit different.
- 9:45We're not going to do everyone's favorite segment analytics
- 9:49because we can't do it with Errol you.
- 9:51Know we also can't do it without Nathan.
- 9:52It wouldn't be the same. And Nathan, Nathan, we kind of
- 9:55need them for moral support, too.
- 9:56We are going to get right into some football and we call this
- 10:03the whip around though whip. Whip, whip around.
- 10:11I was quicker than I remember it.
- 10:13I think the whip around job needs to be a little longer but
- 10:16this is the off season whip around.
- 10:19Yes, Jabba still giving Speedy the referee a wedding in this.
- 10:23Graphic. All right, let's start this off
- 10:27the right way. Today's edition of the NFL
- 10:30Offseason WHIP round. That's Jair Alexander and Lamar
- 10:35Jackson. They were teammates at
- 10:36Louisville way back when. They are teammates once again on
- 10:42the Ravens. Wow.
- 10:46So why you want? That's why you wanted to go
- 10:48there. Jair Alexander here, they are
- 10:50growing out. When they came back together,
- 10:53they were the two leaders of the team in Louisville.
- 10:56Jair Alexander didn't end well in Green Bay, Obviously had a
- 11:01two years ago, or I guess three years ago, Speedy signed the
- 11:04largest contract for a cornerback, played half the game
- 11:07since he signed it because of injury.
- 11:09If there's any place to get this guy going back to being an All
- 11:13Pro, it is with his best bud and also MVP, perennial MVP
- 11:18candidate Lamar Jackson. Speedy.
- 11:22What is a healthy Jair Alexander mean to this Ravens team?
- 11:25Yeah, it's definitely a good move where it comes to the
- 11:28counter of what Marlon Humphrey is.
- 11:30Marlon Humphrey is a physical corner.
- 11:31He they, he won an All pro in the slot last year, but also
- 11:35very physical outside corner. Gyre is usually more reliant on
- 11:38his speed. He is long, but he does rely
- 11:40more on a speed through his career, keeping up with guys in
- 11:42man coverage. And I think the last couple of
- 11:46years he's had to fight a lot of injuries, especially with his
- 11:48hamstring that I think has slowed him down.
- 11:49But he's a good counter for that scheme.
- 11:52He's going to probably play more of the outside corner because
- 11:54like I said, Humphrey is strong in the slot.
- 11:56Nate Wiggins is also very good at the rookie corner from last
- 11:59year. Now answer his second year in
- 12:00the slot better than he was outside.
- 12:03So I think it just gives them a little bit more speed.
- 12:04And you look at the top three teams in the AFC last year with
- 12:07the Bills and with the Chiefs and then and the Ravens, like
- 12:10that's the threshold you're looking at.
- 12:11All their receivers are all type speed yard after the catch type
- 12:15guys, which I think the Ravens got cooked by when they had to
- 12:18place both those teams. He he on paper speedy to me, he
- 12:23looks like a perfect fit for them.
- 12:25It would be a great thing if he can stay healthy and he could
- 12:28play cuz look, a guy that's a speed guy with bad hamstrings,
- 12:30that's not what you want, right? That's that's obviously not what
- 12:33you want. But if he can keep it together,
- 12:35maybe he's not. He's at 90% speed that he used
- 12:38to be. He still can be a very competent
- 12:40corner. And Lamar Jackson said something
- 12:42to the effect. Listen to the general manager.
- 12:45Listen, I love our corners, but go get that guy.
- 12:48Jabba, when you played a couple of places, I don't know if you
- 12:52at one of your later stops, if you got to the point where a
- 12:57manager or somebody in your organization said, hey, what
- 13:00about this guy? You think we should add this guy
- 13:02as someone that you played with? Is he ever like given a
- 13:04recommendation? It's like, hey, you should.
- 13:07We got to get this guy. I will, I will say like from
- 13:12from that side of what they like, what they are and and who
- 13:17they it's just like it's the presence of just who they are,
- 13:22right. And I'll, I'll give you a great
- 13:24story. So we're literally, I'm with the
- 13:28Detroit Tigers at this time and we're about to make a crazy
- 13:33trade to get David Price. Oh.
- 13:37Yeah, and David Price was a good friend of mine.
- 13:40I texted him and I was like, hey, you're about to get traded.
- 13:48Wow. And he was on the golf course
- 13:51and I was like, hey, you might need to head back to the
- 13:54clubhouse because I think this is about to happen.
- 14:00And so it's me, Verlander. And then all of a sudden I see
- 14:05all Dombrowski comes in, Avila comes in and I'm like, oh, it's
- 14:12about to go down. And I was old at that time.
- 14:17So like they kind of filled us in on some certain things.
- 14:23And so I'm like, hey, I didn't even he, he David didn't even
- 14:29hear from his agent. Didn't hear from his agent.
- 14:32Only reason he knew is because of me.
- 14:36That's, that's wild. And he got traded literally 20
- 14:40minutes later. You know, I, I, I just, I just
- 14:46find those stories to be fascinating because you never
- 14:49from, from our perspective, you know, it's just a, a transaction
- 14:53on a piece of paper. The guy gets traded.
- 14:56But this is you guys. We're going to lives.
- 14:59We're we're going to go a little bit longer right now on this
- 15:01segment because I'll tell you what is even crazier about that.
- 15:07So the two people that were involved in the trade was Austin
- 15:14Jackson, Drew Smiley, and it was the Mariners, Tigers and Rays.
- 15:22And so if he didn't get to the clubhouse by the time the trade
- 15:30deadline happened, the trade was null and void.
- 15:35SO2 outs, like I think it was in like the 5th inning or
- 15:38something, they run out and grab Austin Jackson.
- 15:42Tyler Collins goes in and it was like you've just been traded and
- 15:52you're like, what is going on? Middle of the game.
- 15:56Middle of the game. That's why you see some of these
- 16:00things, but it it's, it's crazy how like all of this works and
- 16:08how like things go hand in hand, but I'm like, dude that's
- 16:18getting ready to catch a fly ball or something and he has to
- 16:22worry about this because he's I was on the chopping block all
- 16:28the time. I was going to get traded for
- 16:30Roy Holiday all the time, God rest his soul, and it never
- 16:36happened because they wouldn't give me up.
- 16:39But then, like when you actually get to like see it and
- 16:42experience it, I'm like, hey, I'll give you a hug.
- 16:48And then they're just in the clubhouse, like packing their
- 16:50lockers and like, yeah, I'm out. It's weird.
- 16:56It's it's super weird. I thought it would have to be
- 16:59pretty strange. So we we see that coming up now
- 17:02we have that one. We got Lamar happy, Jair happy.
- 17:07Maybe it works out for them in this new stop, Speedy.
- 17:11The next story we have up here is the retirement.
- 17:15That's middle linebacker legends, Alabama legends as
- 17:19well. CJ Mosley.
- 17:23Look, CJ Mosley's been a very good middle linebacker in this
- 17:26league for a very long time. People don't realize unless they
- 17:30around football just how important the mic linebacker,
- 17:33middle linebacker is basically calls the defense.
- 17:35He's the defensive quarterback for the run fits.
- 17:39He's also doing a lot of communication that sets up the
- 17:41communication for the guys behind him as well.
- 17:44But the front seven runs on what the how good the communication
- 17:48is of the middle linebacker and how well obviously how well he
- 17:50plays. But the communication is key and
- 17:53The Jets defenses have been very good in large part because
- 17:57they've had a really great metal linebacker communicating that
- 18:00across. How is this going to #1 do you
- 18:03think The Jets are going to be as good defensively?
- 18:07And two, speedy what what does that say about that position?
- 18:11Because that position I find to be one of the most undervalued
- 18:14position in all football. It's changed a lot because I
- 18:17think CJ Mosley, when he came into the league, they were
- 18:21trying to still emphasize a lot more of those more physical
- 18:23coverage linebackers. Those cover 2 type Tampa 2 type
- 18:26linebackers. You saw that with guys like Luke
- 18:28Keakley, obviously Brian Urlacher, one of the best ever,
- 18:31Derrick Brooks are the best there.
- 18:31I think if they were looking for those types and then once those
- 18:34types became more injury prone, they look for more of those
- 18:37speed types. I think when you look at Deion
- 18:40Jones when he got dropped by the Atlanta Falcons, I think kind of
- 18:43since then in 2016 on they've been looking for more of those
- 18:45quicker types. And now you look at somebody
- 18:47like Fred Warner, who's probably the best man coverage linebacker
- 18:49we've ever seen. So you're not going to be
- 18:51looking for as much CJ Mosley type linebackers just physically
- 18:54As for him himself, yeah, he's had a great career.
- 18:56I obviously his first year with The Jets, cause a lot of the he
- 19:00had the injury and then the COVID year, he was causing a lot
- 19:02of drama. But since then he played great
- 19:03and really did a great job elevating those young
- 19:06linebackers on The Jets team. The Jets right now are more
- 19:08predicated on their and their pass rush.
- 19:11I think they filled in their younger linebackers very nicely
- 19:14where I think especially with a new scheme with Aaron Glenn and
- 19:17going over there, Detroit's had a lot of rotation with the
- 19:19linebacker position. But they've done well with
- 19:21bringing in faster veterans and a combination of the youngsters
- 19:24that have played well there too. I don't think it'll be a massive
- 19:26drop off losing Mosley. But like you said, as a signal
- 19:29caller, as a leader, like he really had to teach those other
- 19:32guys well when he got hurt. And sometimes that kind of thing
- 19:35is lost if you don't have that either linebacker position or
- 19:37the safety position. If you don't have a middle
- 19:40linebacker that can communicate and set the defense correctly,
- 19:44you're not a good defense. And it's so important.
- 19:47I mean, I know at my level, you know, two years ago, I had this
- 19:51linebacker who was just, he went to Harvard.
- 19:53He was a genius. He he could call out what the
- 19:56play was. And we were always ready.
- 19:58And we got to the state semifinals the year after that.
- 20:01Not the same kid. All right, If it didn't work
- 20:04out, you know I you know I praise the effort.
- 20:09But we didn't win last year. And then a large, a large part
- 20:12of it is defensively, we were never set right.
- 20:15And that comes from the middle linebacker position.
- 20:17Yeah. So I I do think it's
- 20:18undervalued. Yeah, we talk about it too with
- 20:20with Foray Lucan when he's been on the show too, like.
- 20:22How well and the same thing think about Levante, David Oh.
- 20:27Yeah, sure. Right.
- 20:28He's in the way like you're you're taking over for Derrick
- 20:32Brooks. Obviously Bear Rude was there,
- 20:34too. Yeah, obviously I'm going to
- 20:36drop the Nebraska diamond. I remember Bear Rude.
- 20:38Bear Rude was a good linebacker that had injury issues and
- 20:41again, eventually Levante David didn't end up taking.
- 20:43Over, yeah. Another Jets legend, Kowan
- 20:45Alexander, played with him earlier in his career in Tampa
- 20:48and. So do you think speedy too like
- 20:51when it comes to that too? And, and and exactly like you
- 20:54said, Fish was, so are they are they the leaders of kind of the
- 21:01defense? Because they kind of just as as
- 21:04a Mike linebacker and what they do, are they kind of the leaders
- 21:09of like, obviously you're getting your scheme, you're
- 21:12getting everything. You know what you're doing.
- 21:15Do you think if you don't have a dude like that that can do these
- 21:20things, does it lead a defense to be soft or hard or?
- 21:27Yeah. Especially.
- 21:29Because defense is harder were because you're obviously your
- 21:31scheme can be strong, but it's harder when you don't know what
- 21:34play is coming or like, yeah, especially in motion.
- 21:37This is a motion NFL now. So if you can't adjust to
- 21:41somebody either moving in motion or a quarterback that calls
- 21:43audibles quickly or the opposite where you have like a Sean McVay
- 21:46like offense with the Rams where they're going to huddle for a
- 21:49while, then because audible the last second type thing, if you
- 21:52don't have a linebacker like that, a veteran linebacker like
- 21:55that that could do that. That's why I, like I said, talk
- 21:57with Foye Lukin on the show. He's trying to train all these
- 22:00younger linebackers to know their signals and he has to do a
- 22:03lot from a leadership perspective as the captain of
- 22:05that team. It's very difficult, especially
- 22:07A-Team, like his team with the Jaguars has a lot of roster
- 22:10turnover and mostly went for the same kind of thing with The
- 22:12Jets, too. A lot of that defense that
- 22:14they've built up the last four years are younger players.
- 22:17So he had days to take on that kind of mentorship, and that's
- 22:19why they've been a very good unit for a while.
- 22:22Jabba, you remember watching Ray Lewis play and how he would
- 22:27play, especially against guys like Peyton Manning.
- 22:28And I remember their matchups very well because it seemed like
- 22:32the two of them were just shouting for 20 seconds before
- 22:36every play started. Because for every type of little
- 22:39audible Manning would do, Ray Lewis would have an answer.
- 22:43And it was this crazy chess match that had nothing to do
- 22:47with the physicality and speed of the player.
- 22:49It was just, you know, understanding football and then
- 22:54having to be physical and do those things.
- 22:56The fact that if, like, Ray Lewis is a Hall of Famer,
- 22:59because he was able to do that right at the highest level.
- 23:02And I think it's really important to remember that if a
- 23:06team doesn't have that piece, you better be like having Revis
- 23:11Island on one side of the field type of a talented in the
- 23:14secondary. And maybe, you know, you just
- 23:17have like a Miles Garrett or something because you're going
- 23:20to need it if you don't have that great guy in the middle.
- 23:23So I want to leave it at that and move on to the next one,
- 23:26which is one of our favorite topics here on Job in the mouth.
- 23:29Chador Sanders Chador Sanders guys driving 101 miles an hour.
- 23:36Not the first time he was cited for speeding this month.
- 23:40He apparently was stopped for going 91 in the 65 I believe two
- 23:46weeks, not even 2 weeks earlier. So he's facing some fines, some
- 23:50court fees, 41 miles an hour over the 60 mile an hour speed
- 23:55limit. That's not good.
- 23:56He might lose a license for something like that.
- 23:59He's taking care of the tickets. Team spokesman Peter John
- 24:02Batiste told the media outlet. We know the story.
- 24:09Not a great start for Shador. Now, you heard some good things
- 24:12at a camp at a OTAs, that he looks great.
- 24:16They're wearing shorts right now.
- 24:18We know Shador is going to look good in shorts.
- 24:21But is he focused where he needs to be focused?
- 24:24Jabba, when guys have stuff going on off the field, are they
- 24:30like, how often are they good on the field?
- 24:34It's, it's weird because I've obviously had that as well.
- 24:39So I can, I can kind of speak on that, but it I didn't have that.
- 24:48Right. And obviously I didn't have my
- 24:52dad's name behind me and what he's done.
- 24:56I and I don't know beyond that personally to where in like,
- 25:04hey, like, you know what's what is on you right?
- 25:11Like it's it's going to be prevalent to what people talk
- 25:17about why we're talking about it right now.
- 25:36then do it. Be you.
- 25:37I want you to be you no matter what, 100%.
- 25:42No doubt. But if you're going to, if
- 25:44you're going to keep doing the shit that you're doing and think
- 25:49you can get away with it because you know who my dad is, you
- 25:56haven't proven the damn thing. You haven't done anything.
- 26:01Yeah, you've made some money for NIL and all the other stuff.
- 26:06But at the end of the day, like I'll, I'll be perfectly honest
- 26:10with you, if he doesn't do it on the biggest stage, nobody gives
- 26:19a shit. Nobody cares.
- 26:24And if he wants to keep doing what he's doing and think that
- 26:29he is a what my dad would call BMOC big man on campus, then
- 26:40what are you? Like, what are you doing?
- 26:43Like go prove like I can't say anything to you if you go prove
- 26:50it. Like, Yep, sorry about your
- 26:53life. I'm the dude.
- 26:56I'm the dude. But you didn't do anything, bro.
- 27:01You never won anything. You've never won anything.
- 27:05You rely on your fucking father. Go do something on your own
- 27:12record. Go do it.
- 27:16And I tell my son this all the time.
- 27:20I go Carter Van, this ain't about me.
- 27:25It's about you. And if you go do it and you're
- 27:28that dude can't say anything, I'll take care of you.
- 27:37But go do you like go do something.
- 27:42And it just doesn't make sense to me how like he doesn't like,
- 27:50and you can never, ever tell anybody how to be a father.
- 27:56Can't do it. But when it comes down to it,
- 28:00it's like you got to do, you got to do something.
- 28:04And it's like, I tell Carter all the time, you're not going to be
- 28:10Jabba Chamberlain. You're not that, that that's
- 28:13just not going to be the way it is.
- 28:15You're not. And I don't want you to live up
- 28:20to me. I want you to be better than me.
- 28:25And so I don't know, Dion, on that level to where I can be
- 28:28like, did you not just tell your kids, like, yeah, they're very
- 28:33talented, but let them be their own people?
- 28:38Like let them do their thing. Now let's hope Shadour's thing
- 28:43isn't just getting speeding tickets all year and not putting
- 28:45his nose in the playbook, because his ass will be out of
- 28:48the league pretty quickly and he'll have to be playing in
- 28:50Canada. And well, you know, I'm sure
- 28:52we'll get to some great Canadian football picks in a little bit.
- 28:55When Wes comes on for let's parlay, let's move on to a
- 28:58different money maker. Carl made a good point.
- 29:01He's already late to film sessions, too.
- 29:04Well, look, I think we're we know why he fell.
- 29:07We know why we've talked about it.
- 29:09You know what's really cool? There's this great Netflix
- 29:12series on the Cowboys Cheerleaders and about six years
- 29:16ago they they were only making $200 a game to be a Dallas
- 29:20Cowboy Cheerleader. You can't live off of that.
- 29:22That's not real money. They upped it to 400 in 2019.
- 29:28Well, apparently this just came down.
- 29:30They're getting a 400% raise going from 400.
- 29:35I guess if we do that math to 1600 a game, sometimes 17 games.
- 29:39It's a good amount of money. It's a lot better than 400 a
- 29:42game at that price, right? That's a four time race.
- 29:44I've never got in the four time race.
- 29:47I guess that does happen in professional sports sometimes.
- 29:50If you go from just like a rookie contract and you hit
- 29:52become a Max player, you probably get better than that.
- 29:55But man, Jabba, we cheerleaders are living right now in Dallas
- 30:02town. It's pretty nice.
- 30:04You can you remember ever getting some kind of like a
- 30:07raise that was just like, maybe it was like the first time you
- 30:10got a baseball check what that feeling was like when you got
- 30:13that real money. Well, I got, I got real money
- 30:18before that. But let's pretend the NCAA was
- 30:22above board for a second. But you know what I mean?
- 30:24Like that First, Like legitimate, you know, here you
- 30:28go. It's I, I, I have an interesting
- 30:31take on this. And I was, I was literally
- 30:33typing in our chat before you got to it.
- 30:36And then I didn't get to it. But so one of my best friends,
- 30:41his wife was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
- 30:48Cool. You taking off?
- 30:50OK, Let me know how it goes, OK? Yeah, let me know.
- 30:59And so it was, it was crazy because they literally didn't
- 31:04make any money. It was, it was all like off
- 31:08field stuff, right? And I'm in his wedding doing all
- 31:16the other shit and doing everything.
- 31:19And it's like you learn about all these things that you don't
- 31:23really know about. And I, I was like, that's all
- 31:30you're getting paid at this point.
- 31:34Like, why do you not like go and be like, hey, we're doing more
- 31:44you taking off too. We got all my people here.
- 31:50That's cool man. Like, look, I'm sure that having
- 31:55a little bit like a closer connection to it, you see that
- 31:59it's just like poverty, like the Dallas Cowboys position,
- 32:03cheerleaders position, so important you should do it for
- 32:05pennies. It's.
- 32:07Just amazing not. Just.
- 32:09The Cowboys, they created an entire show of them.
- 32:13Right. They should be getting residuals
- 32:14for that. I mean, who knows how that even
- 32:17works today with Netflix and everything.
- 32:18I'm sure it doesn't work for them the way it used to work,
- 32:22but speedy, you know? Works for who owns it of.
- 32:25Course it does, you know. But as far as you know, the
- 32:28actors you hear all the time now with like actors not getting the
- 32:31residuals from like Netflix the same way they used to get from
- 32:33cable when it would be a rerun of something they made years
- 32:36ago. You know, actor economy is not
- 32:39something I'm interested in. But speedy.
- 32:41But I am certainly interested in, you know, the New York
- 32:44Football Giants. We don't need no cheerleaders.
- 32:47Yeah, I think they're one of like 6 or 7 teams that don't
- 32:49have them. It's about the football over
- 32:52here in the, in, I guess, New Jersey.
- 32:53But I, I think it's a, it's a interesting story and I think
- 32:58it's, it's a step in the right direction.
- 33:01Pay people what they're worth. They're probably worth more than
- 33:03that, but it's at least a step in the right direction.
- 33:06Let's let's finish up football. Just getting to get into the
- 33:09last story and this what a fun story this is.
- 33:12We got the Giants third and fourth string quarterbacks
- 33:16becoming new best friends. Oh yes, I am talking about the
- 33:20the Italian Stallion himself, Mr. Mr. Tommy Cutlets, Tommy
- 33:24DeVito and our first round pick this year, technically 3rd on
- 33:28the depth chart right now behind Russell Wilson and Famous
- 33:32Jameis. Yes, I'm talking about Jackson
- 33:34Dart. Listen to this, boys.
- 33:37DeVito is getting to know face of position.
- 33:40He's already bonded with the rookie dart.
- 33:42This comes from Yahoo Sports. All it took was the latest
- 33:45season of the reality TV series Love Island.
- 33:49Me and Jackson might go on Love Island, DeVito said.
- 33:53We've talked about it, so we really don't know what's about
- 33:55to happen. I can't say we watch it every
- 33:58night, but from time to time we get an off day.
- 34:01We watch it and talk about it. Oh man, the bromance is blooming
- 34:06in the swamps of the Meadowlands.
- 34:09My God, what are we doing make of this Speedy it?
- 34:13It's like step brothers, we just made new best friends.
- 34:16Hopefully that's what it what it'll come down to.
- 34:18It's good to see them bonding, I guess just based on that.
- 34:19Please do not go on the show whatsoever people like I guess
- 34:23if Devito's on practice walk, I whatever, but Jack Siddar did
- 34:26not turn into Shidor Sanders and start trying to live your life
- 34:28on reality TV. Please, for the love of God, you
- 34:31could Tommy, Tommy DeVito, you could send all your your chicken
- 34:33cutlets and all your food over there.
- 34:36Oh. There he is, DeVito you.
- 34:39You you can do that if that's the case.
- 34:40But I guess from a leadership standpoint, I guess it's find
- 34:42something to bond on. It's always a good thing, even
- 34:45though again, I'm not going to over analyze anything with
- 34:47reality TV. Java.
- 34:49You ever watched that 10 Java bot popped out?
- 34:52I know my wife, I know we've watched Love Island.
- 34:55I know I've been, I would say subjected to it might be the
- 34:58best way to put it. I don't think that would be what
- 35:02the Giants want for Tommy DeVito and especially for Jackson.
- 35:08No, nobody should be going on the show.
- 35:09Please no. Please don't.
- 35:11I mean, look, it might be that Tommy Devito's future is like a
- 35:16character on a reality show. To be fair, I think that's
- 35:19probably not a stretch. They could be like Jersey Shore
- 35:22football edition, you know? And now all of a sudden he's,
- 35:26you know, beating up the beat down on the Jersey Shore like in
- 35:28the days of old with the the situation and all those other
- 35:34clowns from that show back in the day.
- 35:36Guys, that is our offseason news for football at this time.
- 35:41We call that the whip around. We're moving forwards.
- 35:44We've got our favorite game show coming up right now.
- 35:47When we get the first chance to have our intern Zach defend his
- 35:50crown. Yes, it is time for King of the
- 35:54Hill. And here's the king of the Hill.
- 35:58This, Bobby, is the Beltline. You never, ever hit below that.
- 36:02Not that kind of King of the hill.
- 36:03You dumb Ready? Are you ready?
- 36:06This is King of the Hill. Well, here we are, King of the
- 36:11Hill. We're back.
- 36:11Let's get all the interns in. Let's get Tommy in Nathan, you
- 36:15can play as well. So come on in everybody.
- 36:17We'll get Jabba in if he's if I'm sure he's just dealing with
- 36:20a bunch of people over there at the location that they're at.
- 36:24So here we go. Tonight is an NFL edition of
- 36:28King of the Hill. Let's add everybody to the
- 36:30stage. Let's go pop it up.
- 36:33So round one again, Zach, you are in the King chair tonight
- 36:36and we're going to start off talking about the best defensive
- 36:39backs of all time. All right, so we're going to
- 36:44load up the screen for it. We'll put Zach in the King chair
- 36:47right here. I'll put it over here.
- 36:49So Zach, you were judging all of us.
- 36:51We'll go down the line. We'll start with at the top next
- 36:54to you with Jake. All right, yeah.
- 36:59So you have to forgive me really quick, everyone here.
- 37:01I'm doing my Aaron Rodgers tribute, my darkness retreat.
- 37:05Power's still out, but I'm doing my best here.
- 37:08Yeah, no, but for me, DB number one, I'm going to go with as
- 37:11much as I hate to say it as Eagles fan, but primetime Deon
- 37:14Sanders, the man was pretty much the revolution of the position.
- 37:18You think of quarterback, you think Deon Sanders, he was so
- 37:20dominant that at time he would stop playing defense and just go
- 37:24play off and play wide receiver because the quarterbacks will
- 37:27just refuse to throw the ball towards him because they didn't
- 37:29want to get picked off. And you can kind of see now how
- 37:31he mentored Shudor, excuse me, Travis Hunter, who's looking to
- 37:35be that type of hybrid player now.
- 37:37They don't even let people try it anymore.
- 37:38That's how dominant Dion was. So yeah, for me, he's clearly
- 37:42one of the best defensive backs of all time.
- 37:44Tommy all. Right.
- 37:45Well, I'm going with one of my personal favorites ever since
- 37:49growing up and watching football as a young kid, if not the best
- 37:52defensive back of all time. We are going with Mr. Ed Reed.
- 37:57Now. Mr. Ed Reed is just what a
- 38:00stellar player. I I always remember watching
- 38:02that one clip of of it was Ray Lewis when I'm sorry, not Ray
- 38:08Lewis. It was a video of I'm sorry, I
- 38:11can't even do that. It was a video of Ocho Cinco.
- 38:14He ran into he ran into Ray Lewis and then just got popped
- 38:17completely by Ed Reed and Ray Lewis.
- 38:19So it's honestly one of the funnier videos.
- 38:21But Ed Reed, what a great player, what a stellar.
- 38:24A lot of these people didn't even want to like a lot of these
- 38:26receivers didn't want to run near the field with him.
- 38:28Kind of similar to who I'm going to get into the next if nobody
- 38:31else picks him, but I'm going with Mr. Ed Reed.
- 38:35All right, I'll go next. I'm going to go with a former
- 38:38Heisman Trophy candidate winner and his name is Charles Woodson.
- 38:43Charles Woodson was a legendary corner, drafted originally by
- 38:47the Raiders, moves eventually to safety and is an all pro there
- 38:52as well. I don't know.
- 38:54There's a very short list of people who have done that.
- 38:57They've been all pro at both positions.
- 38:59He's a legend. He has a Heisman.
- 39:01He's got AI believe he has a Super Bowl.
- 39:03I could be wrong about that. I know he's got, I know he got
- 39:06run over by Brandon Jacobs the year after, if I'm not mistaken,
- 39:10on the way that the Giants win in the Super Bowl.
- 39:12But he is absolutely one of the stud corners D backs of all
- 39:16time. Charles Woodson.
- 39:18So Java, we're doing best D backs of all time.
- 39:20So we'll just put you at the end of the list right here.
- 39:23OK. So that's how we'll do it.
- 39:24And we'll go now to Mr. Aaron. All right, so as we all know, I
- 39:32don't know so much about football talking specifics, but
- 39:35Darrelle Revis, I mean, you talk about possibly one of the best
- 39:39players that would play for The Jets possibly, but one of the
- 39:42best New York players in his time, just so good defensively,
- 39:46he was always there. Again, I don't know a lot of
- 39:49specifics, but you hear the name, you know what I'm talking
- 39:51about. So I'm going to go with Darrelle
- 39:53Revis. All right, Speedy.
- 39:55All right, I'll round it out with another safety, Ronnie
- 39:57Lott, best of his era with the San Francisco 49ers, played with
- 40:00A19 fingers, one of his fingers. Obviously we know what happened
- 40:05with that. Still ended up being the best
- 40:07tackler of that era, Great coverage guy and obviously won a
- 40:09bunch of Super Bowls over there. I think was a eight or nine time
- 40:12all pro. Safety and I think he has to be
- 40:16in consideration for the best, well, most well-rounded safety
- 40:19ever. Ed Reid, like you were saying,
- 40:21Tommy, probably the best covered safety for you.
- 40:22Argue another guy possibly later as the best blitzing safety, but
- 40:26Ronnie Lott, probably the best all around safety.
- 40:31Pretty fair, Jabba for two. So you're going to go 2 and then
- 40:34we're going to snake back the other way.
- 40:36Defensive backs of all time. What do you got for us, Mr.
- 40:41Chamberlain? So we're going.
- 40:44Safety or corner? Safety or corner?
- 40:48Yeah, defensive back so that you can pick from more people.
- 40:56I'm going to go tie Law. I'm going to go tie Law and what
- 41:03he did, obviously Hall of Famer two time out, bro.
- 41:13I just think what he did was different than what other people
- 41:21did when he did it. I wanted to take the Ronnie Lott
- 41:29because there's a Nebraska connection there, but I couldn't
- 41:33take that because it's already gone.
- 41:35But yeah, so I'll, I'll take Ty Law went in the Hall of Fame in
- 41:41in 19. He was two time all Pro, five
- 41:46time all Pro Bowler. The way that he covered it and
- 41:51did everything was fantastic. All right, give me your second
- 41:55one and we're going to snake back to Speedy going reverse
- 41:57order. All right.
- 41:58I go reverse order fishy went with.
- 42:00Speedy. It's speedy.
- 42:01I think I'm not I'm it's Java. It's Java speedy.
- 42:04Yeah, Java for his 2nd pick. And then you get oh.
- 42:08Yeah, Troy Palamalu, tell these. Young UNS What it was like to to
- 42:14watch Troy Palamalu. I actually went to a game there
- 42:20and saw him work on the sidelines.
- 42:25It was different. It was different and I was like,
- 42:32they're dudes and I've been in my realm where guys were
- 42:37different. He was different and he has the
- 42:44accolades. I don't need to say shit about
- 42:47that because he hasn't. But like watching him and seeing
- 42:55what he was able to do and how he did it.
- 43:00And I, I wouldn't say he was undersized, but he wasn't like
- 43:06great as a size of what he did, but fast covered and feared.
- 43:17And that's the thing, I'll say he was feared because you
- 43:22didn't. You didn't.
- 43:23I'm sorry. Go ahead.
- 43:24You didn't want to. You didn't want to run across
- 43:26the middle of field with him. Is he going to give you the
- 43:30business? All right, so you're definitely
- 43:36getting the business from Troy Palamalo and you're getting a
- 43:39full head of flowing hair with head and shoulders keeping him
- 43:42dandruff free. Speedy PD.
- 43:45All right. You've said one of them with
- 43:47this last name before. I'm going to say the other one,
- 43:49Rod Woodson, another one that could play multiple different
- 43:52positions. And I think a guy that was very
- 43:55undervalued, obviously with the Steelers, a little bit with the
- 43:58Ravens and well later in his career on the Super Bowl team as
- 44:01well. But with the Steelers,
- 44:02especially in that 90s era, he obviously didn't win a Super
- 44:05Bowl, they went to a Super Bowl. But he still was one of the most
- 44:08versatile, most well-rounded defensive backs, 7 or 8 time Pro
- 44:11Bowler or All Pro player, even more of a Pro Bowler type
- 44:15player. And again, if it wasn't for
- 44:17Deion Sanders, probably would have been the best of that era.
- 44:19But like you said, it was Deion Sanders the best shutdown, but
- 44:21he was probably one of the best all around.
- 44:24That was excellent, Aaron. All right, so I'll go with a
- 44:28fairly younger pick. I'll go with a Richard Sherman.
- 44:31I mean, you talk about someone that was explosive and someone
- 44:33that really played the game well with their team and that legion
- 44:36of boom on what they did. That's your for that, You know,
- 44:39in that era with the Seahawks, I mean, you can't really say
- 44:41anymore. I even though his attitude was
- 44:44something of a problem, you could say, but he was explosive.
- 44:47He was good. He did what he had to do when
- 44:49they want to check what that one championship and the finish
- 44:51runs. But yeah.
- 44:53Aaron I'll, I'll give you your beard Game is fantastic.
- 44:59Oh, we got a shout out from Jabba the Beard right there.
- 45:02Your name is. Fantastic.
- 45:04Strong. Thank you man.
- 45:05I try, I try my best. Thank.
- 45:06You strong, a little stronger than maybe picking a Cover 3
- 45:10corner this early, but I will definitely go on with my next
- 45:15pick to someone who was taken from us a little too soon.
- 45:19Yes, I'm talking about Sean Taylor.
- 45:21Sean Taylor, absolute legend for the Redskins while they were
- 45:26still called that. Could have been the best ever.
- 45:28That could have been the hardest hitting, flying around safety,
- 45:31coming from deep, just taking people.
- 45:33How about? Him.
- 45:34How about him in the Pro Bowl on that hit?
- 45:37I was going to bring that up. So I was telling you about how
- 45:39such a big Bills supporter back when I was in college, their
- 45:43punter was a guy named Brian Mormon.
- 45:45Now, Brian Mormon was the guy who got absolutely demolished by
- 45:48Sean Taylor on that famous kick off on or is it onside?
- 45:53I forget exactly what it was, but it was special teams play in
- 45:55the Pro Bowl back when they played and Sean Taylor took his
- 45:59effing head off. It was unbelievable.
- 46:02I do want to say I once painted my roommate's body with a Brian
- 46:06Mormon jersey and at a Bills game bare chested in the snow
- 46:10against like Brady Quinn on Monday Night Football.
- 46:13It was a terrible game, but they love themselves then Bills over
- 46:17there. But I.
- 46:19I was going to say, you know, I call the Chargers the least
- 46:21clutch team in in football. I used to call the Bills the
- 46:24most average team in football because they were always either
- 46:26like 6 to 9 wins every year. They.
- 46:27Were never relaxed. The average The average team.
- 46:31Until now they. Were way below average when I
- 46:34was down there. It was JP Lossman era and all he
- 46:36did was have a lot of losses. Man.
- 46:40Let's move on to Jake. Actually, no, wait.
- 46:44We start with Jake. So Tommy.
- 46:45Yeah, Tommy. All right.
- 46:47I think it's Tommy. Give me Champ Bailey now Champ
- 46:50Bailey is. Some people might say that one
- 46:53of the best coverage cornerbacks of all time would be Darrelle
- 46:56Revis or a plethora of other guys.
- 46:58Defensively, defensive back wise, Champ Bailey has the most
- 47:03passes deflected of all time. He was just one of these best,
- 47:07like one of the most coverage guys that nobody ever wanted to
- 47:10throw on that side of the field. Nobody ever wanted to even try
- 47:12to test him. And in the open field, you knew
- 47:14he was going to try to definitely pop you.
- 47:16I could have sworn he snuck in with that.
- 47:18I could have sworn he was still on the roster for that 2015
- 47:21Broncos team that won the Super Bowl.
- 47:23But it's a shame. Now, he wasn't on that team.
- 47:25He was on the one that lost to Seattle.
- 47:26Yeah, that's exactly what it was.
- 47:27So I could. I remember him going to the
- 47:28Super Bowl. I could have sworn it was the
- 47:30one where they actually won. But it's a shame he never
- 47:32actually got to win a ring because Champ Bailey, for years,
- 47:35years, even his early years in Washington, for years, was the
- 47:38best cornerback in the league by far.
- 47:40So give me Champ Bailey. All right.
- 47:44And last pick in the second round before you come back with
- 47:47your first pick in the last round, Mr. Jake.
- 47:51I forget fish. You did say safeties are good
- 47:53too, right? Yes, I did.
- 47:54All right, good. I can't believe I forgot this
- 47:56pick. A little bit of a Homer again,
- 47:58but I'm going to go with Ryan Dawkins.
- 48:00You want to. Talk about like who is struck
- 48:03fear into someone other than I think Jabba's pick of Troy,
- 48:06Paula Malu, Ryan Dawkins was the ultimate fear monger.
- 48:10You were just afraid to line up against him, a guy who would run
- 48:13all the way across the field and just murder you.
- 48:16Obviously multi time all pro and Hall of Famer, the man just he
- 48:21struck fear into his opponents. And you know, at a time when
- 48:23football was a very violent game and you know, it was just so
- 48:27much fun to watch for me as the Eagles fan brought up in those
- 48:29early days. So yeah, Brian Dawkins for me,
- 48:32he's up there. Oh yeah, he was great.
- 48:37Yeah, he didn't. Suck.
- 48:40I do remember Shockey catching touchdowns over him.
- 48:43That's all good though. Well, you know, let him know.
- 48:45Fish here and there catching this pass.
- 48:46He was a little undersized, a great player.
- 48:48Jake last pick First pick of the third round.
- 48:52Your last pick. OK.
- 48:54Yeah. So for my last pick or of the
- 48:56third round or start of the third round, I'm going to go
- 48:58with a little bit of a younger guy, but a guy who's been a
- 49:00great vet so far. I'm like, I'm going to go with
- 49:02Marshawn Lattimore. He's been a multi time Pro
- 49:05Bowler. He was defensive rookie of the
- 49:07year, you know, his first year in 2017 starting.
- 49:09All I can think about are those wars he's had with Mike Evans,
- 49:12constantly getting into scrums and fights, talking so much
- 49:15trash. A similar to Richard Sherman,
- 49:18maybe in a little bit more of a humble way, quietly.
- 49:20But he's been, you know, one of the most, I think, underrated
- 49:23quarterbacks recently just because I think everyone thinks
- 49:25of the spot, the spats he has with Mike Evans and
- 49:27occasionally, you know, the wide receivers went out more.
- 49:29But Marshawn Lattimore, you know, especially, I hate the
- 49:31fact that he's with the Commanders now.
- 49:33He's been such a great, fantastic lockdown corner in the
- 49:37league and he's going to be, you know, revered as one of the
- 49:39greatest corners of the 20 twenties.
- 49:41Absolutely. Tommy, this is going.
- 49:44To be way, way out there way before anybody's time on this
- 49:48panel, of course, but give me Dick the night train lane for
- 49:52mainly for just being the pioneer.
- 49:55I would say as a cornerback what a modern textbook cornerback is
- 49:59today. Really set the foundation and
- 50:01really was the kind of guy who used to do a little bit of both
- 50:04most the hard hitting ability and as well as the one of the
- 50:08first only guys you would see, of course, like sort of fool
- 50:10quarterback, sort of bait and switch open open to A to a wide
- 50:13open wide receiver. And what hey, I may say if you
- 50:17ever if you are out there as a Madden player, I kind of fell
- 50:19off the Madden game for the quite a couple of years, but one
- 50:22of my ultimate teams had Dick the night train lane as a
- 50:25legends card. I think it was like close to
- 50:27like 98 overall, but one of the best players and like I said, a
- 50:30foundation of what a cornerback is today.
- 50:32So give me night train lane. I mean, I got to go with this
- 50:39guy because he was such a great guest on our show very recently.
- 50:43His name is Leroy Butler and Leroy Butler is a Hall of Famer.
- 50:47Was a legend for the Packers in the 90s, late 80s, Absolute
- 50:51savage out there. Was ball hawk before there were
- 50:55a lot of ball Hawks at the safety position.
- 50:57Made it. Was a Shore, shore tackler.
- 51:00And yeah, he's one of those guys that defenses had to account for
- 51:05every time they played that team.
- 51:06They had the pass rush with Reggie White.
- 51:09And when the pass rush got there, Leroy Butler was making
- 51:11plays on bad balls. It was a beautiful defense.
- 51:16You forget about that because of Brett Favre.
- 51:18But I'll tell you right now, Leroy Butler was, you know,
- 51:21player. It was a 90s All Madden player
- 51:23team. That guy is real deal.
- 51:26Hall of Famer Leroy Butler. Let's go to Aaron.
- 51:32So like I said, I don't know a lot about football, so
- 51:34unfortunately I think I'm going to have to bow out of this one.
- 51:37I don't know a lot of a lot of saves in the quarterback.
- 51:39So that's all. I'm going to give one to you
- 51:42that I, I, I'm tempted was to say, but I wouldn't dare do it.
- 51:46His name is Jason Seahorn, and Jason Seahorn was a stud until
- 51:51he tore his knee on a preseason kick return.
- 51:55But before that, he ate your Eagles lunch every.
- 52:00Single. Game We.
- 52:01Were going to. Go there, go back and watch the
- 52:04tape. Go back.
- 52:05Famous interception on a tip ball where he was on the ground,
- 52:08popped it up to himself, stood up and took it to the house.
- 52:11One of the best highlights in Giant's history.
- 52:14Absolute stud. Also married to Angie Harmon.
- 52:18You guys are too young to know who that is.
- 52:19Jabba isn't what well. He was, but not that.
- 52:23No, no. But at the time it was like a
- 52:25big deal. Oh, you know, the Law and Order
- 52:27woman is married to Jason Sehorn.
- 52:29Oh yeah, she is. I spent it NASA bar with them.
- 52:33Really. Very cool.
- 52:35All right, So, Jay, we're going to give Aaron, Jason Sehorn.
- 52:38I don't think that's going to be enough to win though, Speedy.
- 52:41All right, I'll stay in the NFC. So we'll go to a different era.
- 52:43Daryl Green when a guy that was an undersized corner that I
- 52:46think it was one of the fastest corners at that time, especially
- 52:49when you didn't have that like freak athletic corners yet in
- 52:52the in the 1970s, Nineteen seventies, 1980s, tremendous
- 52:55longevity too. And I think he played up up
- 52:58until that 2002 thousand teen, kind of the end of that Joe
- 53:01Gibbs era type. But 171617 years he played a
- 53:05corner and played at a very high level for quite a while.
- 53:08I think one of the most underappreciated ones I got to
- 53:10go with Darrell Green. And to finish up the round,
- 53:14Jabba. I'm going to go in the same
- 53:18aspect of kind of what Speedy did Steve Atwater.
- 53:23Good choice. Played ten years, won three
- 53:29Super Bowls and was kind of just one of those guys that did what
- 53:39he was supposed to be good at, right?
- 53:42And he was that dude. He had numbers.
- 53:47He went in the Hall of Fame in 2020.
- 53:51And I just, I can't, I can't go against these old heads because
- 53:57he wasn't as physical as those other guys, but Steve Atwater
- 54:02was able to hard guys and do the things that he did.
- 54:10He had 24 interceptions and had over 1100 tackles.
- 54:21Like I just I, but it is a lot and I just, I love like those
- 54:30guys that just like I'm a slide under the radar, but I'm still a
- 54:36dude and he's still a Hall of Famer.
- 54:39Fish, he certainly is. Speaking of guests of the show,
- 54:41our friend Christian Akoya I'm sure remember Steve Atwater
- 54:44pretty well. Oh, I bet he would.
- 54:47Oh man, I bet he would you. Have to ask him about it next
- 54:50time. Yeah, Zach, you were the king
- 54:52from last time we played with you.
- 54:54Therefore, based on your completely arbitrary absolute
- 54:59powers, who are the two people moving on to the next round to
- 55:03the joust? I just want to say, firstly, I'm
- 55:06kind of surprised no one took Camp Chancellor.
- 55:09I don't know, maybe that's just a young kid in me, but I have
- 55:14the two and I'm going to go with Tommy and Speedy.
- 55:18I mean, Ed Reed, you can't go wrong.
- 55:21Ed Reed. I mean, arguably the greatest
- 55:22safety of all time. They they give all the best ones
- 55:27you you got to give us some love like to get some old ones he's.
- 55:30The King though, you know what I mean?
- 55:32Like, damn, you're the King Steve.
- 55:35Steve. It's all I went for. 20th
- 55:38century ones. All right, finish your
- 55:41explanation, Zach. But Ed Reed, obviously one of
- 55:44the greatest safeties of all time, probably the greatest
- 55:46safety of all time. And then I had to look up Dick
- 55:48Lane. I've never heard of him.
- 55:50He has the NFL record for interceptions in a season.
- 55:52So I feel like that's just got to go.
- 55:54I feel like that you got to pick him.
- 55:55And then Speedy, Ronnie Lott, Rod Woodson and Daryl Green,
- 56:00arguably all the greatest, like Ronnie Lott, one of the greatest
- 56:02safeties of all time. Rod Woodson, one of the most
- 56:05versatile DBS ever. And then Daryl Green, I mean,
- 56:08he's not, I looked him up again because I don't know who he is.
- 56:10He's known for his speed. He shut down, he shut down wide
- 56:13receivers for around 2 decades. Like so I feel like it was kind
- 56:18of easy going with Tommy and Speedy, so I just got to go with
- 56:20them. All right, we don't have to
- 56:22enjoy the the ruling powers of the king, we just have to obey.
- 56:26And we will now move on to the next round.
- 56:30And it's just got everyone else who didn't make it in.
- 56:32Pop your cameras off and we will get into Round 2, which for this
- 56:38game will be if it's going to let me load here we go the
- 56:42joust. Our finalists will compete on
- 56:45the best Super Bowls of all time.
- 56:50Arbitrary what you mean best? You have to explain it.
- 56:54Therefore, Zach, you need to be really, it's not so much about
- 56:57which game, it's also their explanation.
- 57:00All right, so let's get to that Cam for it right there and let's
- 57:05start with whoever you feel like should start King Zach.
- 57:10I'm a, I'm a let. I'm a let Speedy start.
- 57:14I like Speedy. I like Speedy's knowledge of the
- 57:16game. I want to hear what he says all.
- 57:18Right, I'm speedy. I'm going to start with I'm
- 57:20going to judge it based on the quality of play.
- 57:22Cowboys, Steelers Super Bowl 1976.
- 57:25I was mentioning in our previous debates with Errol like I'm
- 57:27thinking one of the 1976 Steelers one of the best teams
- 57:30ever than the Cowboys. I was talking about Drew Pearson
- 57:31last week and that 70s offense to go along with the defense too
- 57:36that was loaded up front for the Dallas Cowboys.
- 57:38Very close back and forth game throughout.
- 57:40Tons of Hall of Farmers on the collectively grow both of those
- 57:43teams. Yeah, a legendary game for sure,
- 57:47Tommy. All right, so completely non
- 57:50biased Giants fan with this situation, but it has to be the
- 57:542008 New York Giants defeating the undefeated New England
- 58:00Patriots. Listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 58:03That team was absolutely loaded. There was no stopping that team
- 58:07regular season or postseason come.
- 58:10I know Jake is an is a little bit upset about that one.
- 58:12But look, come that season come that Super Bowl, everybody had
- 58:17the giants written off as a fairy tale.
- 58:18It was it wasn't even a thought that the that the Brady with
- 58:22also the Randy Moss LED New England Patriots a stellar
- 58:25defense that they had was going to have no problem with running
- 58:27away with it. Not only is it the best
- 58:32Cinderella run of all time, you can't say upset without saying
- 58:35the 2008 New York Giants. It went from even having the
- 58:39infamous It happened, the infamous Eli Manning surviving
- 58:43that. I don't know how he got out of
- 58:44that sack. So throwing it up to David
- 58:46Tyrene. Also Plexigo Burris with the
- 58:48amazing catch toward the end to seal it the best upset of all
- 58:52time. And like I said, when the best
- 58:53Cinderella runs of all time, the 2008 New York Giants.
- 58:58Cinderella story indeed, Speedy. All right, I'll go with one that
- 59:02unfortunately Leroy Butler's team could not come through him.
- 59:05But the Packers against the Broncos, that's Super Bowl.
- 59:08Obviously John Elway with an heroic leap to get into the red
- 59:11zone. Terrell Davis, that big back and
- 59:13forth game, he had that almost 200 yards or 200 yard game in
- 59:17that one. Brett Favre obviously putting up
- 59:18the numbers that he put up with that amazing receiving corps we
- 59:21talked about with him, with Sterling Sharp and Antonio
- 59:23Freeman, those guys, it was just a great back and forth game.
- 59:263127 final with the Broncos and the Packers.
- 59:29One of those instant classics in the late 90s.
- 59:33Tommy, I'm. Going to stay on the topic of
- 59:35undefeated teams and I'm going to do it with the only team that
- 59:38went undefeated in all of all the NFL season and go with the
- 59:4374 Miami Dolphins this team after, I'm sorry, not the 74,
- 59:47the 73 Miami Dolphins this team after being denied a Super Bowl
- 59:52of the year previously said the Dallas Cowboys like Speedy
- 59:55mentioned. 7272. The 72, I'm sorry, the season of
- 1:00:0072, yeah, the 72 season, basically.
- 1:00:03There's no denying that that team was just stellar.
- 1:00:07That team, That team was very stellar.
- 1:00:09And of course, went up against a heavily contested work many
- 1:00:11people thought was going to be, you know.
- 1:00:13Somewhat of an upset at the time, one of the big, the
- 1:00:15biggest upset for the Washington Redskins, possibly doing it over
- 1:00:18the Miami Dolphins. But the Miami Dolphins proved
- 1:00:21that they were the only team, of course, that like I said, go
- 1:00:24undefeated and really is only the measuring stick of, you
- 1:00:28know, what a team should really want to do every single season
- 1:00:31of an NFL season. So give me the undefeated
- 1:00:34Dolphins. Speedy All right, I'm going to
- 1:00:37go with one. I forget if it was you or Errol
- 1:00:39that went with it when you guys did it for pound for pound, but
- 1:00:41I like that. That Rams Titan, Super Bowl,
- 1:00:44obviously 2 expansion team, not expansion teams, relocated teams
- 1:00:47at the time. The Saint Louis Rams Greatest
- 1:00:49Show on turf, my first choice for the best offense in NFL
- 1:00:52history last week. And then that Tennessee team,
- 1:00:54obviously Eddie George, a tremendous defense.
- 1:00:56Steve McNair, that defense that that defense that they move over
- 1:01:01from the Oilers, they could never get over the hump.
- 1:01:02They kept losing the AFC championship or the second round
- 1:01:05of the playoffs. They that back collapse against
- 1:01:06the Bills. Obviously when the Oilers and
- 1:01:081st year going over to Tennessee and they're very close.
- 1:01:10And obviously the after winning the miracle, the Music City
- 1:01:15miracle, they were one yard short.
- 1:01:16I mean, it was a thrilling finish throughout a 23 to 16
- 1:01:18back and forth game. So very underrated one because
- 1:01:22obviously the Rams until recently only that's their one
- 1:01:24Super Bowl. But I think for the storylines
- 1:01:27and the players involved in that, that's a good one to go
- 1:01:30with that 99, two thousand season with the Rams and the
- 1:01:32Titans. Finish it up, Tommy.
- 1:01:35So since PP just took my pick, I'm going to actually go with
- 1:01:37some. This was sort of somewhat
- 1:01:39touched on the Last King of the Hill with Errol actually here,
- 1:01:43but I'm going to go with the 1997 Denver Broncos season more
- 1:01:47specifically this the first, of course, of course they went
- 1:01:49back-to-back. That was my.
- 1:01:51Speedy already took, I took. Speed already took that one.
- 1:01:53Packers. Broncos.
- 1:01:54Yeah, I didn't. Know you said that one.
- 1:01:56That is my apology, but you know what?
- 1:01:58I'm actually going to go with one.
- 1:01:59That's enough recent memory. I'm going to go with someone
- 1:02:03that's BD actually mentioned with the same Kurt Warner LED
- 1:02:06team. I'm going to go with the
- 1:02:07Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals.
- 1:02:10I think that's a very underrated Super Bowl in this sense.
- 1:02:12I don't want to say underrated, but that is a very underrated
- 1:02:15Super Bowl of recent memory. I would say for the sense of you
- 1:02:18had Ben Roethlisberger taking it to the Arizona Cardinals.
- 1:02:22Kurt Warner LED where he really just found himself A-Team after
- 1:02:25getting let go of the New York Giants and really revolutionized
- 1:02:28the Cardinals going into the season.
- 1:02:30Of course, Dumb and the Eagles were the ones that of course
- 1:02:33emerged out of the NFC as the last two teams and numb, of
- 1:02:35course, beating the Eagles the the the two nine win teams in
- 1:02:38the conference finals, which is kind of funny.
- 1:02:40But yeah, you know, just that was just such a classic that we
- 1:02:43could ever have, honestly, with Kurt Warner and Ben
- 1:02:46Roethlisberger going back and forth and one of Harrison with
- 1:02:50the longest interception who returned for a touchdown in a
- 1:02:53Super Bowl, as well as Kurt Warner tying it back or getting
- 1:02:58the late back with Santonio Holmes with one of the greatest
- 1:03:00catches of all times and probably the greatest catch in
- 1:03:03it to win a Super Bowl. Give me the 2008 Pittsburgh
- 1:03:07Steelers winning the Super Bowl that year.
- 1:03:09Give me that super. Bowl.
- 1:03:10All right, Zach, who are you facing?
- 1:03:14So they're all good choices. I love, I love Phoenix knowledge
- 1:03:18of the game. I love Tommy's choices.
- 1:03:22It's tough. It's it's really tough.
- 1:03:23I mean, Tommy, he has the greatest team of all time record
- 1:03:27wise and winning the championship wise.
- 1:03:29And then Speedy just has a lot of knowledge in the game.
- 1:03:31It's kind of intimidating. But you're the king.
- 1:03:35I am the king. I am going to choose, however,
- 1:03:38because he said my favorite Super Bowl of all time.
- 1:03:41I'm going to choose Tommy because I love, I'm an Eagles
- 1:03:43fan, but I love the Steelers and Cardinals, the Super Bowl
- 1:03:47because I mean, I always rewatch who was it?
- 1:03:50Was it? It wasn't.
- 1:03:52Was it Santonio who caught the touchdown?
- 1:03:54Antonio Holmes caught in the corner.
- 1:03:56That's who I thought it was. OK, I wasn't sure though.
- 1:03:58But that catch I think is one of the greatest catches of all
- 1:04:01time. So I'm gonna go.
- 1:04:03With last week. I know I didn't.
- 1:04:06I wasn't here last week, but I was hoping that was one of the
- 1:04:08greatest catches that you guys talked about.
- 1:04:10But I'm gonna go with Tommy just because he mentioned my favorite
- 1:04:13Super Bowl that I've ever watched.
- 1:04:14All right, everybody come back in.
- 1:04:16We are now gonna be the voters for this round.
- 1:04:20Yes, your absolute monarchy is over, Zach.
- 1:04:23This is going to be constitutional.
- 1:04:25We're going to vote on it. And David Tyree had the best
- 1:04:28catch ever. Yeah, and that was the first one
- 1:04:30I brought up that round. Yeah, So that that that was last
- 1:04:33time. We're going to have a little bit
- 1:04:35tougher topic for round three guys.
- 1:04:41I want to know who are the best offensive lineman in NFL
- 1:04:48history. Yes, a topic that I know very
- 1:04:52well that I may have been angling for finals that I would
- 1:04:56dominate if I was ever in it. But I would like to hear from
- 1:05:00the two of you guys. Can you decide if you go first
- 1:05:03or second? I'm going to.
- 1:05:06Go second. I want to hear what Tommy has to
- 1:05:07say. Always crack.
- 1:05:09Oh, all right, Tommy. Well, I'm going to have to take
- 1:05:14a guy who just recently retired from the NFL.
- 1:05:18I'm going to have to go with Jason Kelsey, center of the
- 1:05:23Philadelphia Eagles. Of course, now Jason Kelsey has
- 1:05:25to easily go down as one of the greatest centers of all time.
- 1:05:29Jason Kelsey really was, I wouldn't say a matriarch, but of
- 1:05:32course one of the guys behind the tush push.
- 1:05:34Of course that was. So that's why I wouldn't say
- 1:05:38that. But you know, Patriarch, I'm
- 1:05:41sorry. That you're you just called him
- 1:05:43a woman. Oh, Patriarch, whatever.
- 1:05:46You know you know what that means.
- 1:05:48Right, whatever whole point is. Is that the the grandma like big
- 1:05:52Mama? You just called him Big Mama.
- 1:05:54Well, he's the big Mama that's pushing Jalen Hurts his ass into
- 1:05:56the end zone. So fair.
- 1:05:59So look, Jason Kelsey, really stellar guy on the field and
- 1:06:03really a stellar guy off the field.
- 1:06:04Nobody could really ever say anything negative about him.
- 1:06:06He was really that that go to leader on the team as a lineman,
- 1:06:10really just the leader of the offense and really helped really
- 1:06:13morale his guys. Not anybody has anything to say
- 1:06:16negatively about him. So what a great teammate of
- 1:06:18overall and one of one of the best centers of all time as it
- 1:06:21makes me want to throw up in my mouth as I'm saying that about
- 1:06:23an Eagle. All right, whatever, Zach Hater.
- 1:06:28I'm gonna go with he's not retired, but I'm gonna go with
- 1:06:31Jason Kelsey's teammate. I'm gonna go with Lane Johnson.
- 1:06:34I forget when he was drafted, but.
- 1:06:36I said of all time, not of the Eagles in the last five years.
- 1:06:41Right lane Johnson is at that time.
- 1:06:43Why is everybody covered in the Eagles right now?
- 1:06:45Like what? I mean, what are we doing?
- 1:06:47But all the time. Lane Johnson, I mean, he's what,
- 1:06:50like. Talk about lineman.
- 1:06:52You didn't talk about Neil Smith.
- 1:06:53It's all right. No, no, let them, let them go,
- 1:06:55Let them go all. Right.
- 1:06:57Well shit, I'm. Sorry, no.
- 1:06:58But like Lane Johnson, he's what, like 35-6?
- 1:07:02And he's still one of the best, probably the best right tackle
- 1:07:05in the league right now. I mean, he shuts down Envy, he
- 1:07:07shuts down like a Parsons, he shuts down Nick Bose.
- 1:07:11He's just on everyone and he's just a dominant player of all
- 1:07:15time. I think he's one of the most
- 1:07:16dominant players of all time at his position.
- 1:07:18So I'm going to go with Lane Johnson.
- 1:07:21Terrible. Terrible.
- 1:07:23What a king we have, Tommy. Bite your tongue, Aaron.
- 1:07:28All right, I get it. You let the king speak.
- 1:07:32I will be going. What are you the Sheriff of?
- 1:07:34Like Nottingham over here or something.
- 1:07:38Right, so I'm going to be going with one of the best offensive
- 1:07:40tackles of all time and Mr. Anthony Munoz where another guy
- 1:07:43who I mentioned night train lane, another guy Anthony Munoz
- 1:07:47on my Madden Ultimate Team. You know, one of the best run
- 1:07:50stoppers, really one of the most stellar tackles.
- 1:07:54When you think of a tackle, you really want to follow this model
- 1:07:57of this guy. Really what?
- 1:08:00All pro almost every single year in the NFL and really was a big
- 1:08:05reason why they went to two Super Bowls back in the day for
- 1:08:08the Cincinnati Bengals. So give me Anthony Munoz.
- 1:08:12All right, Zach. I'm a go with Bruce Matthews.
- 1:08:17He was a long time Houston Oiler in Titans.
- 1:08:21He played every position and on the offensive line for a Pro
- 1:08:24Bowl at Provo level which I never knew.
- 1:08:26That was kind of insane when I looked it up.
- 1:08:29He's a 14 time pro Bowler, which is the most of all time on for
- 1:08:32an O lineman NFL record seven time first all team pro and he
- 1:08:38also played nineteen seasons. So he's the definition of
- 1:08:40longevity for an offensive lineman in the NFL, which is I
- 1:08:44just feel like it's unheard of, especially now in the game now.
- 1:08:48So I'm gonna go with Bruce Matthews.
- 1:08:50Also play Matthews Junior's uncle if I'm not mistaken.
- 1:08:54I didn't know that as well. A bunch of Matthews were great
- 1:08:58football players for short. Tommy, last one.
- 1:09:02You didn't say Larry Allen as your first, did you?
- 1:09:04What was that? Said Larry Allen.
- 1:09:06All. Right, we'll go in Larry Allen
- 1:09:08because Larry Allen was just that dude honestly for the for a
- 1:09:12while, honestly was one of the best, one of the better tackles
- 1:09:15and regarded as one of the strongest guys to ever really be
- 1:09:18behind the line. Actually passed away at last
- 1:09:21June. So rest in peace for him.
- 1:09:23But really what another what another stellar got was really
- 1:09:26an all pro player for six consecutive seasons, which is
- 1:09:29very hard to do and 11 time pro bowler as well.
- 1:09:32They made very well, likely very respectfully is in the Dallas
- 1:09:36Cowboys Ring of Honor and as well as the Pro Football Hall of
- 1:09:39Fame. The guy wasn't stoppable to get
- 1:09:40past and really a very, very dominant tackle overall.
- 1:09:45I'm very strong man as well, so give me Mr. Allen.
- 1:09:50All right, Zach, last pick to end the game.
- 1:09:53I'm gonna go with Jonathan Ogden.
- 1:09:55He's an offensive line tackle for the Ravens.
- 1:09:57He was actually the first pick in Baltimore Ravens history.
- 1:10:01He's 11 time Pro Bowl selection. He's a four time first team all
- 1:10:04pro selection. He's part of the 2000s all
- 1:10:08decade team. And he won a Super Bowl with the
- 1:10:10Ravens in 2000 and a Hall of Fame inductee in 2013.
- 1:10:14So you just got to go with Jonathan Ogden.
- 1:10:16I feel like that's an obvious one.
- 1:10:17All right, time for us to vote. I'll start off the voting again.
- 1:10:21Majority rules on this one. All right, this is how I I see
- 1:10:25it. I'm going to ignore both of your
- 1:10:26dumb ass Eagles guys and that's a wash.
- 1:10:31Munoz and Larry Allen are the best tackle and guard probably
- 1:10:37of all time. Except I didn't like the
- 1:10:41explanations. I don't think you even know a
- 1:10:43single thing about Anthony Munoz, Tommy.
- 1:10:46But who was his? What team did he play for the?
- 1:10:48Bengals. I said that look OK Munoz.
- 1:10:52I didn't get a chance to watch a lot of Munoz.
- 1:10:54You did say he was a run stuffer.
- 1:10:56That's what a defensive lineman would do.
- 1:10:58So because of the explanations, I'm going to go with Zach.
- 1:11:02I also Bruce Matthews being a Pro Bowler in every position, he
- 1:11:05was on my list of guys that I would have taken.
- 1:11:08And Jonathan Ogden was a generation ahead version of
- 1:11:11Anthony Munoz. You can say that those two guys
- 1:11:14are a watch. So I'm going to go with the
- 1:11:16Bruce Matthews pick and the explanation going with Zach to
- 1:11:19stay the king. Let's go to Jake.
- 1:11:24All right, so Mr. Salty over there, Aaron don't listen to his
- 1:11:26nonsense. And he's just salty that his
- 1:11:28giant of the deal with Jackson Dark that he's coming.
- 1:11:31Lane Johnson is a wild pick for this.
- 1:11:34I understand that, I understand, but he's one of the best tackles
- 1:11:37in the league right now and you can't spate that despite your
- 1:11:40hatred. You can't not say that that's
- 1:11:42not true. I understand in terms of like
- 1:11:44yes all maybe. He's top 50 all time.
- 1:11:47I gave you guys 3 picks that should be top 6.
- 1:11:50No, no, no, I I'm not disagreeing with you.
- 1:11:52Yes, all time it was a it was a wild pet.
- 1:11:54And then like my I love that. And I will say though, by a
- 1:11:57side, yes, they shouldn't have gone that way.
- 1:11:59But I will say this, as much as I do love Jason Kelsey, I think
- 1:12:03he does get a little bit overrated with his marketing and
- 1:12:05his and his character. He's he was a great player, But
- 1:12:09as my dad always likes to say, I have arguments with him that he
- 1:12:11was more of a run blocker. He's not a great pass protector.
- 1:12:14You know, obviously he's just a, she was a shorter player.
- 1:12:17So that always hurt him in that sense.
- 1:12:19And I actually think I was I'm going to go with Tommy.
- 1:12:22But I think Aaron, you did sway me a little bit more with the
- 1:12:25the Jonathan Ogden pick. I think I think the the Larry
- 1:12:28Allen, it was really, really close for me.
- 1:12:30But I am going to roll, I think with Zach as well on that pick
- 1:12:33with Jonathan Ogden. And who is it that your second
- 1:12:36pick? It was it was who was your
- 1:12:38second pick? Bruce Matthews.
- 1:12:41Bruce Matthews? Yeah.
- 1:12:42I mean, playing offensive lineman for that long is is
- 1:12:45ridiculous. And I, I think I think Tommy
- 1:12:47definitely got it with with Larry Allen, but I'm going to
- 1:12:50roll with Zach as well for the Eagles just because of the fact
- 1:12:53that I think Kelsey does get a little overrated because of his
- 1:12:56marketing. And I think Lane's a little bit
- 1:12:57more of a solid that he's been a getting better player as he's
- 1:13:01aged. And then, yeah, Jonathan Ogden,
- 1:13:03phenomenal. OK, that's two votes, Jabba.
- 1:13:11How do you vote, my friend? I vote on the same side.
- 1:13:22I got Zach. I got Zach.
- 1:13:25All right, that's going to push Zach over the over the top
- 1:13:27Speedy and Aaron just quickly, who you who'd you go with?
- 1:13:30Yeah, I was going to say quickly, I love Zach Bruce
- 1:13:32Matthews explanation that's it was tight with the player
- 1:13:35choices, but that's what really did it for me was him playing
- 1:13:38them all three positions and and he has the most and he's the
- 1:13:41most all pros ever. That's true.
- 1:13:43Yeah, that would have been Zach, too.
- 1:13:45Again, offensive line that couldn't, I couldn't name any,
- 1:13:49not even one of So I at least let's let's keep him up there,
- 1:13:53let's keep him up by, says King. Well apparently it's a fact the
- 1:13:57the attempted coup by Tommy who did not come through and Zach is
- 1:14:05the king once again. We will have to have a king off
- 1:14:09in the next time we play because we got a couple of kings left to
- 1:14:12be like ancient Sparta where they had two kings.
- 1:14:14I bet you didn't know that you learn something every day on
- 1:14:16King of the Hill Speedy. Wes couldn't make it.
- 1:14:21He couldn't stay on as late. So we just have some let's
- 1:14:24parlay picks. Why don't you read them off for
- 1:14:26us? Really.
- 1:14:26Quickly, the the Montreal pick I mentioned in the comments
- 1:14:29section during our interview, that one looks like it's going
- 1:14:31to hit. They're up 24 to 6 right now.
- 1:14:33He had them covering the -5 1/2 spread against Edmonton tomorrow
- 1:14:377:30. He's got the Toronto Argonauts
- 1:14:40at home covering plus 2 1/2 against the Saskatchewan Rough
- 1:14:44Riders on Saturday, June, June 21st at 4:00.
- 1:14:48He's got the Ottawa Red Blacks on the road covering plus 1 1/2
- 1:14:52against the Calgary Stampeders in Calgary and surrounded out.
- 1:14:56He's got the BC Lions at home, covering plus 2 1/2 against what
- 1:15:00he calls the Patriots or Chiefs of the CFL in the Winnipeg Blue
- 1:15:04Bomber. So going against the dynasty,
- 1:15:07taking BC plus 2 1/2 at home. All right, and there it is.
- 1:15:12Your CFL picks. It's been wonderful.
- 1:15:15Thanks everybody that came on and helped out tonight.
