- 3:39Speaker 3: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 3:43Speaker 3: The question was who was the first woman to win
- 3:49Speaker 3: a Nobel Prize? The answer Marie Currie. She won the
- 3:56Speaker 3: Nobel Prize in Physics in nineteen oh three, and later
- 4:01Speaker 3: one another Nobel Prize in chemistry in nineteen eleven Marie Curie.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Now you know. Fear can be a natural and sometimes
- 4:20Speaker 3: helpful response to danger, but it can also be counterproductive
- 4:26Speaker 3: in many ways. Here are some reasons why fear can
- 4:32Speaker 3: be considered useless. Number one paralysis. Fear can cause you
- 4:38Speaker 3: to freeze and prevent you from taking necessary actions. This
- 4:43Speaker 3: can be easily detrimental in situations where quick decision making
- 4:48Speaker 3: is crucial. Two Stress and anxiety. Prolonged fear can lead
- 4:55Speaker 3: to chronic stress and anxiety, which can have negative effects
- 4:59Speaker 3: to your physical and mental health. Three irrational decisions. Fear
- 5:06Speaker 3: can cloud your judgment and lead to irrational decisions. When
- 5:10Speaker 3: you're afraid, you might not think clearly, and you can
- 5:14Speaker 3: make choices that are not in your best interest. Four
- 5:20Speaker 3: missed opportunities. Fear of failure or rejection can stop you
- 5:25Speaker 3: from pursuing opportunities that could lead to personal growth and success. Five.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Negative impact on relationships. Fear can affect your interactions with others,
- 5:39Speaker 3: leading to misunderstandings and strained relationships. While it's important to
- 5:46Speaker 3: acknowledge and understand your fears, it's equally important to manage
- 5:51Speaker 3: them and not let them control your actions. Techniques like mindfulness,
- 5:57Speaker 3: deep breathing, and positive thinking can help you overcome fear
- 6:03Speaker 3: and make more rational decisions in the future. Fear a
- 6:15Speaker 3: poem by Khalil Gibron. It is said that before entering
- 6:22Speaker 3: the sea, a river trembles with fear. She looks back
- 6:27Speaker 3: at the path she has traveled from the peaks of
- 6:31Speaker 3: the mountains, the long winding road, crossing forests and villages,
- 6:37Speaker 3: and in front of her she sees of oceans so
- 6:42Speaker 3: vast that to enter there seems nothing more than to
- 6:46Speaker 3: disappear forever. But there is no other way. The river
- 6:53Speaker 3: cannot go back. Nobody can go back. To go back
- 6:59Speaker 3: is impossible in existence. The river needs to take the
- 7:04Speaker 3: risk of entering the ocean, because only then we'll fear disappear,
- 7:12Speaker 3: because that's where the river will know that it's not
- 7:15Speaker 3: about disappearing into the ocean, but of becoming the ocean.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Thank you for.
