- 0:11Speaker 2: What you gonna do?
- 0:11Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:13Speaker 3: We're not talking about Ren 1010.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:16Speaker 5: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:17Speaker 2: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:20Speaker 2: face to be.
- 0:21Speaker 6: And in the place to be.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And you're listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: It's John T.
- 0:26Speaker 7: And Rich, and today is a very special day, right, Rich?
- 0:28Speaker 7: It is National Boston Cream Pie Day.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I love that.
- 0:32Speaker 7: National Horror Movie Day. I said Horror Movie Day. That's
- 0:37Speaker 7: perfect for Halloween week. And check this out. It's National
- 0:40Speaker 7: Slap Your Irritating Coworker Day.
- 0:42Speaker 8: Oh, my God. Tortillas.
- 0:45Speaker 9: I have tortillas. I have them. We must do it again.
- 0:50Speaker 8: Let's bring it back. We need to let her anchor up.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I think I have a video of Kyle slapping me
- 0:55Speaker 2: because of his day on TikTok. Very nice. What's your
- 1:00Speaker 2: favorite Cartoon Network show of all time?
- 1:03Speaker 9: Oh, that's so hard. Okay.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Well, I played this for Noah this morning, and I said,
- 1:08Speaker 2: do you know what song this is? And he told
- 1:09Speaker 2: me he thought that the song I played was Easton's
- 1:12Speaker 2: favorite cartoon, Your Son.
- 1:13Speaker 9: Or it might be.
- 1:14Speaker 8: I just don't know the distinction between.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Well, what's his favorite cartoon show?
- 1:18Speaker 8: Right now, it's Teen Titans Go.
- 1:20Speaker 2: No, what's this? Do you know the song?
- 1:23Speaker 9: Oh, Ed, Edd n Eddy is so good.
- 1:25Speaker 8: No, that's not his thing. He's never actually seen Ed,
- 1:27Speaker 8: Edd n Eddy. My bonus daughter loves Ed, Edd n
- 1:30Speaker 8: Eddy and has talked about it, but he's never actually
- 1:33Speaker 8: seen it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 8: They wanted to be Ed, Edd n Eddy for Halloween.
- 1:38Speaker 8: I'm like, he's never going.
- 1:39Speaker 10: To see the show.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Top three, Dexter's Laboratory. Number two, Adventure Time. Number one,
- 1:43Speaker 2: Over the Garden Wall. Over the Garden Wall.
- 1:45Speaker 8: I've never heard of that one.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Best vampire movie of all time, according to Rotten Tomatoes.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Best vampire movie of all time. What do you think?
- 1:52Speaker 2: Salem's Lot.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Twilight.
- 1:53Speaker 8: What's the one with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Interview with the Vampire?
- 1:56Speaker 9: Enemy of the Vampire?
- 1:57Speaker 8: Oh, Interview with the Vampire.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I'd say Salem's Lot.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Twilight.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Let me look. You've got Lost Boys in number 19. Oh,
- 2:02Speaker 2: Lost Boys is good. You've got all these other ones
- 2:05Speaker 2: I've never heard of before. You've got Dracula, number seven.
- 2:08Speaker 2: You've got What We Do in the Shadows, number five.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Number three is Sinners.
- 2:12Speaker 9: Transylvania.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Number two is Vampire. Number one is Let the Right
- 2:17Speaker 2: One In from 2008. Let the Right One In.
- 2:19Speaker 8: Interview with the Vampire is not even on there.
- 2:22Speaker 11: It's not in there.
- 2:22Speaker 8: And Twilight is not either.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Give me a break. Nah, that's not in there.
- 2:26Speaker 9: Those lists are all wrong. The last two you've done. Boo.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Cheyenne, good morning. You got a scary, scary story?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Yes, I do.
- 2:36Speaker 5: So a couple, not a couple years ago, I guess
- 2:38Speaker 5: about five years ago, we were living in this tiny
- 2:41Speaker 5: little duplex.
- 2:43Speaker 9: It was a.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Two-bedroom, and I had put my son to bed in
- 2:47Speaker 5: my bed, and he was almost a year old. He
- 2:52Speaker 5: was sleeping, and I had shut the door, and we
- 2:54Speaker 5: always had a little salt lamp on in the room.
- 2:57Speaker 5: And I went to check on him because I always
- 2:59Speaker 5: did every so often, you know? And so I went
- 3:01Speaker 5: to check on him. And when I opened the door,
- 3:04Speaker 5: there was this big thing like floating over him. It
- 3:07Speaker 5: looked like it was sitting and like floating over him.
- 3:10Speaker 5: I screamed bloody murder and I shut the door. My
- 3:13Speaker 5: survival instincts were nothing.
- 3:14Speaker 6: And I panicked. And his dad was like, oh my God,
- 3:19Speaker 6: what happened?
- 3:19Speaker 8: What happened?
- 3:20Speaker 6: And we opened the door again and it was gone.
- 3:22Speaker 5: And it was like this shadowy figure thing. And when
- 3:25Speaker 5: I looked it up... People are saying that they've seen
- 3:28Speaker 5: shadow figures before and sometimes they're there to like protect
- 3:31Speaker 5: or things like that.
- 3:32Speaker 6: And I was like, what the heck?
- 3:36Speaker 12: Why me?
- 3:36Speaker 6: Why are we seeing it? Why did I see that?
- 3:39Speaker 6: And I haven't seen.
- 3:40Speaker 5: It since, but I will never forget that experience because
- 3:43Speaker 5: like my whole body like felt it. I saw it.
- 3:47Speaker 3: It was there.
- 3:48Speaker 5: And I was so panicked. And it was, like, floating
- 3:50Speaker 5: right above him. And it was huge. Like, almost like
- 3:53Speaker 5: it was, like, a Buddha-sized, like, floating above him. And
- 3:57Speaker 5: there was no, like, I couldn't tell, like.
- 4:00Speaker 3: What it would have looked like figure-wise.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Like, if it was a man or a woman or
- 4:04Speaker 5: anything like that.
- 4:04Speaker 9: It was just, like, this.
- 4:06Speaker 5: big figure sitting above him, like floating above him.
- 4:09Speaker 8: And I love that you didn't like grab your son.
- 4:12Speaker 8: You're like, but.
- 4:13Speaker 2: You're saying that was there after you looked it up,
- 4:19Speaker 2: it was there to protect him.
- 4:21Speaker 13: Yes.
- 4:22Speaker 6: That's what it was saying on Google.
- 4:23Speaker 5: When I looked it up, people will say that they
- 4:25Speaker 5: see these shadowy figures and that they're generally known to
- 4:29Speaker 5: be like protective or like to protect whatever it's around
- 4:32Speaker 5: or whatever. And I don't know how true that is,
- 4:34Speaker 5: but I, I, it was so scary. I opened the
- 4:38Speaker 5: door again and it was gone, but.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I saw it.
- 4:40Speaker 5: And I was like, my whole body got chills.
- 4:43Speaker 8: You're not going to have that intuition feeling and see
- 4:46Speaker 8: a random dark figure that's not supposed to be there
- 4:48Speaker 8: and not feel fear. I feel, you know?
- 4:50Speaker 9: No.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Oh my gosh.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was like, what in the world? Did you try
- 4:54Speaker 2: to hit it? Swipe at it? You swipe at it
- 4:56Speaker 2: and nothing happened?
- 4:57Speaker 3: No, I ran.
- 4:58Speaker 13: You ran.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Sorry, boy, you're on your own. You're going to have to,
- 5:01Speaker 2: you're going to have to figure this.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Out, kid.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Yeah, poor guy.
- 5:05Speaker 5: He was sleeping and he's six now, but he literally,
- 5:08Speaker 5: I shut the door so fast. I screamed and I
- 5:10Speaker 5: shut the door almost like I couldn't believe it. And
- 5:13Speaker 5: then when we opened it, it was gone.
- 5:15Speaker 7: He didn't wake up with a lightning streak on his forehead.
- 5:17Speaker 7: That might've been Voldemort. Your son might be Harry Potter.
- 5:21Speaker 6: No, unfortunately.
- 5:22Speaker 2: You know, every once in a while, Rich hosts a show, right,
- 5:26Speaker 2: all over the country called Coast to Coast. And has
- 5:29Speaker 2: that ever come up before? Because you do freaky stuff
- 5:30Speaker 2: on that show, right? Yeah, the shadowy stuff has come up.
- 5:32Speaker 2: In fact, I'm doing the show tonight from like 10
- 5:35Speaker 2: to 2 a.m. And the person I'm having on, that's
- 5:39Speaker 2: all he does is paranormal investigation.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Oh, you ask him about the shadow people? Yeah, I mean,
- 5:42Speaker 7: if you want, Shannon, I'll get your phone number and
- 5:44Speaker 7: we'll put you on with them.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that would be cool.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Yeah, a lot of people see shadowy figures, but they're
- 5:51Speaker 7: usually a person, not a blob.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Yeah, it was like a big Buddha-sized blob. That's the
- 6:00Speaker 5: shape it was, sitting there like that. Not obviously exactly,
- 6:04Speaker 5: but it was the shadowy thing above him, and I
- 6:07Speaker 5: was like, I was so panicked. I started looking into it.
- 6:10Speaker 5: And then I saw that they could be protective. And
- 6:13Speaker 5: then I saw that other things that were more scary.
- 6:15Speaker 5: And I was like, I don't want to think about
- 6:17Speaker 5: that being in the house.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I'm glad you called in. Rich, report back to us
- 6:20Speaker 2: on Monday and let us know what it is. Hold on.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Have a great day. Maybe we can put you on.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Okay. Thank you.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Hey, what's the vibe for horoscopes?
- 6:32Speaker 9: Okay, Scorpio season is officially here, so I'm letting you
- 6:35Speaker 9: know what you can expect over the next few weeks.
- 6:37Speaker 9: If it's your birthday today, you're a Scorpio, and you
- 6:40Speaker 9: share a birthday with Ryan Reynolds, Margaret Qualley, Amelia Clark,
- 6:43Speaker 9: Amanda Lesenberg, and Miguel. Kyle. Oh, actually, we're not a
- 6:47Speaker 9: Libra season anymore. I think it was just natural habit
- 6:50Speaker 9: right there.
- 6:51Speaker 2: So what is it right now?
- 6:52Speaker 9: We're in Scorpio season. This is Drake's time to shine.
- 6:55Speaker 8: Okay, Drake.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Let's do Scorpio and then we'll say hi to Tammy.
- 6:57Speaker 9: Okay, yeah, we'll do Scorpio for our guy, Drake, because
- 6:59Speaker 9: I know he listens every morning. Drake! Okay, you are
- 7:03Speaker 9: about to become everyone's favorite person to talk about, even
- 7:05Speaker 9: though we already know that, Drake. Somebody who has been
- 7:07Speaker 9: acting uninterested in you is going to start giving you
- 7:09Speaker 9: some attention. But don't get too excited because they want
- 7:13Speaker 9: access to the new version of you and they need
- 7:16Speaker 9: to put in some work before they get all of that.
- 7:19Speaker 9: You know what I mean?
- 7:21Speaker 6: Sure.
- 7:21Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Well, let's say hi to Tammy. Good morning, Tammy.
- 7:23Speaker 11: Good morning.
- 7:25Speaker 2: What's your sign? I'm Libra.
- 7:27Speaker 9: Okay, Libras, just like Kyle, your guys' birthday season, it's
- 7:31Speaker 9: officially over, but it's time to deal with all the
- 7:33Speaker 9: consequences of those birthday month decisions. So the outfits, the dinners,
- 7:38Speaker 9: the spontaneous plans, and that one person that you probably
- 7:40Speaker 9: shouldn't have kissed. Scorpio season has arrived, and so has
- 7:44Speaker 9: the bill. Definitely.
- 7:47Speaker 8: All right.
- 7:49Speaker 2: All right, Tammy.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Bye.
- 7:52Speaker 9: All right. Love you guys.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Who'd you kiss?
- 7:55Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 7:55Speaker 9: How about Pisces? Okay, Rich, Pisces, you are about to
- 7:59Speaker 9: have a moment with someone that feels straight out of
- 8:01Speaker 9: a movie. The eye contact, the chemistry, the perfect timing.
- 8:04Speaker 9: But just remember that Scorpio season can make everything feel
- 8:07Speaker 9: a little bit more intense. So enjoy the butterflies, but
- 8:09Speaker 9: don't start planning the wedding.
- 8:11Speaker 7: Yeah, the Pisces people like to fall in love at
- 8:13Speaker 7: first sight.
- 8:14Speaker 9: They do.
- 8:14Speaker 2: That's a whole thing.
- 8:15Speaker 9: It's a thing that you guys got going on.
- 8:17Speaker 2: All right. How about Leo's?
- 8:18Speaker 9: Yeah, Leo's is somebody who underestimated us is about to
- 8:21Speaker 9: watch us do something that they didn't even think we
- 8:23Speaker 9: were capable of. But the best part is, is that
- 8:25Speaker 9: we won't even have to say anything. We just need
- 8:28Speaker 9: to smile and do our thing and let everyone else
- 8:30Speaker 9: sit there wondering when we got so good at it.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Shari, good morning.
- 8:34Speaker 10: Hey, good morning, John Day.
- 8:36Speaker 2: What's your sign?
- 8:38Speaker 4: I am a Taurus.
- 8:39Speaker 9: Oh, okay. So Taurus for you guys, somebody that you
- 8:43Speaker 9: have been casually flirting with is about to make it very,
- 8:46Speaker 9: very clear that they are interested in you. The only
- 8:48Speaker 9: problem is you're not entirely sure if you like them
- 8:51Speaker 9: or if you like just having someone around. So Scorpio
- 8:53Speaker 9: season is going to ask you to stop keeping people
- 8:55Speaker 9: on the roster just for entertainment.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 8:59Speaker 3: That sounds exciting.
- 9:00Speaker 9: Yeah, it is a good, a good one for you
- 9:02Speaker 9: guys this week.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Thank you so much.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You too.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Have a great weekend.
- 9:07Speaker 11: Hey, you too.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Thanks, guys.
- 9:09Speaker 2: You got it. How about Virgos?
- 9:10Speaker 9: Yeah, John Jay, you are about to discover that somebody
- 9:13Speaker 9: has been giving you advice that they don't even follow themselves.
- 9:16Speaker 9: They have been lecturing you about relationships, money, or being
- 9:19Speaker 9: responsible while their own life is an absolute circus. So
- 9:23Speaker 9: take the advice if it's good, but stop treating it
- 9:25Speaker 9: like it's Bible, you know?
- 9:27Speaker 2: Got it. That's great advice. Thank you, Payne Whitmore. All right.
- 9:30Speaker 2: If you missed your sign, go to our website, johnjayandrich.com.
- 9:33Speaker 2: They're all posted.
- 9:35Speaker 14: Thomas, Thomas, please hold on.
- 9:40Speaker 7: If chaos was a radio show, you're listening to it.
- 9:44Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do that.
- 9:51Speaker 8: We're having a nice day.
- 9:53Speaker 2: This morning I was on my Instagram. And you know
- 9:57Speaker 2: how you get stuff fed to you from whatever?
- 9:59Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And I get this video on my Instagram and I've
- 10:02Speaker 2: never seen this before. And I thought it was so clever.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And the guy was selling an event that I think
- 10:07Speaker 2: he came up with. And I thought it was so genius.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And I shot him a DM. His name is Mike.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I was like, Mike, could you come on our show
- 10:13Speaker 2: and talk about this? And he said, yes. Mike, good morning.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Hello. Good morning.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Hey, can you tell everybody that I'm here in the
- 10:20Speaker 2: studio with what you got going on?
- 10:22Speaker 4: Yeah, thanks for having me on. So I started something
- 10:25Speaker 4: a few months ago. I just bring a bunch of
- 10:27Speaker 4: games to the park and see who shows up. And
- 10:29Speaker 4: now it became a thing called Adult Recess.
- 10:32Speaker 9: That's fun.
- 10:33Speaker 8: I love Adult Recess.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Right?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Adult Recess. So what are some of the games? Explain, please.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Yeah, so we have, oh man, there's so many games.
- 10:40Speaker 4: So we have basketball, football, wiffle ball, soccer, slam ball. Volleyball, kickball, dodgeball, frisbees,
- 10:51Speaker 4: a bunch of card games, board games. We also have
- 10:56Speaker 4: a tug-of-war, a big parachute, and we play sharks and
- 11:01Speaker 4: minnows and tag. We did Duck, Duck, Goose the other day.
- 11:06Speaker 4: And it's just nuts to see, like, 50 people playing Duck, Duck, Goose.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Isn't that wild? That's awesome. Here's his video. My name
- 11:13Speaker 2: is Mike, and I host Adult Recess.
- 11:16Speaker 4: The next one will be this Sunday from 4.30 to
- 11:18Speaker 4: 6.30 p.m.
- 11:19Speaker 8: At Apache Park in Scottsdale, Arizona.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I love it.
- 11:23Speaker 8: I love it.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I want to go if we could do Red Rover.
- 11:28Speaker 9: Oh, yes, Red Rover.
- 11:29Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 11:30Speaker 8: My sister broke her arm that way.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I bet. Well, Mike?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a game that so many people have asked
- 11:35Speaker 4: to play. And we're just like.
- 11:38Speaker 15: Everyone's going to get hurt.
- 11:40Speaker 4: They're going to get choke-holded.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Literally.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 2: To play that with adults would be awesome.
- 11:46Speaker 4: But, yeah, we do all those different types of things.
- 11:48Speaker 4: And the age ranges range from, I mean, anyone from,
- 11:51Speaker 4: you know, 18 years old to, I mean, we have
- 11:54Speaker 4: 70-plus people hanging out with us.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool. Do you charge for it at all
- 11:57Speaker 2: or just come on over?
- 11:58Speaker 4: I literally live down the street. I put all the
- 12:00Speaker 4: games in a wagon and I wheel it to the park.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I set everything up. And whoever shows up, shows up.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Really cool. Really cool.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I didn't want to make it too much of a...
- 12:10Speaker 4: How everyone's doing things are optimizing and trying to get
- 12:12Speaker 4: the best return.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:15Speaker 4: And I get that. I run businesses too, and I
- 12:18Speaker 4: will do that in those businesses. But for these things...
- 12:21Speaker 4: I don't want people to come in with pressure or
- 12:23Speaker 4: feeling like they have to network or they have to
- 12:25Speaker 4: be something other than who they are as they just
- 12:29Speaker 4: show up.
- 12:29Speaker 7: I'm so glad you get that because there's so little
- 12:32Speaker 7: left in the world with no strings attached that's just
- 12:34Speaker 7: authentic and fun.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Good for you.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. Thank you so much.
- 12:38Speaker 2: So this Sunday.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Yeah, this Sunday, I usually, everyone's been saying it's every Sunday,
- 12:45Speaker 4: but I don't have it every Sunday, even though it
- 12:47Speaker 4: has been pretty much every Sunday. I just make the
- 12:50Speaker 4: call during the week if I want to do it
- 12:51Speaker 4: or not, and usually it's like 90% yes. So the
- 12:54Speaker 4: next one, this Sunday, October 25th from 4.30 to 6.30.
- 12:58Speaker 2: At Apache Park. I don't know where that is, or
- 13:00Speaker 2: maybe I do know where it is. Tell me where
- 13:01Speaker 2: it is.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Apache Park, it's off of 85th Place and McDowell. So
- 13:06Speaker 4: it's McDowell and Hayden. Is that the right word?
- 13:11Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Okay. Is there a skate park there? There's
- 13:13Speaker 2: a skate park there.
- 13:15Speaker 4: No, it's close. That's like a park just west of
- 13:18Speaker 4: this park.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Okay. I know exactly where it is. All right. So
- 13:20Speaker 2: it's this Sunday, 430. You just come. You don't need
- 13:23Speaker 2: to sign a waiver. You can probably do this until
- 13:25Speaker 2: someone gets hurt and sues you.
- 13:26Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 13: Right?
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Even then, it's like, you know, like, I always think
- 13:29Speaker 4: about permits and all these things, and people want to
- 13:31Speaker 4: work with me, but... I mean, I can't stop people
- 13:34Speaker 4: from showing up to a park and playing games.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 13:37Speaker 4: You're right. I get it. I could fall into legality
- 13:41Speaker 4: and stuff like that.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Hopefully people are crueler than that. Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Someone actually already broke their wrist doing Duck, Duck, Goose.
- 13:47Speaker 4: And they actually messaged me and said, yo, I'm the
- 13:50Speaker 4: person that hurt themselves playing Duck, Duck, Goose. Worth it.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Oh, that's awesome. You got Duck, Duck, Goose. You could
- 13:56Speaker 2: do Ring Around the Roses. Right?
- 13:59Speaker 13: Yeah. Tag?
- 14:01Speaker 2: Kill the man with the ball?
- 14:03Speaker 9: Oh, you should do the parachute. Get a parachute and
- 14:05Speaker 9: do the parachute game.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You know, all the stuff that you can't say anymore
- 14:09Speaker 2: because it's.
- 14:10Speaker 4: It's so fun to see, like, all these... All these
- 14:13Speaker 4: adults that are, you know, 40, 50, they're winning some
- 14:15Speaker 4: of these games. And it's amazing to watch them play
- 14:17Speaker 4: like they're kids.
- 14:18Speaker 7: Yeah, because they got the skills from doing nothing but
- 14:20Speaker 7: that when they were kids.
- 14:21Speaker 2: All right, brother.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Hey, thanks.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I mean, I think, like, one of the biggest things
- 14:26Speaker 4: is we forgot to have fun. Right. Life jades us,
- 14:30Speaker 4: and we have so much stuff in the way that...
- 14:32Speaker 4: You know, we forget to have fun. We think we're
- 14:34Speaker 4: too old and we're not good.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I'd like to do it some Sunday in July when
- 14:38Speaker 2: it's 120. That'd be a hoot.
- 14:40Speaker 4: You know that I started doing this in May and June.
- 14:43Speaker 2: So you've had people show up when it was 120?
- 14:46Speaker 4: I was doing it the entire summer and people were like, dude,
- 14:48Speaker 4: it's so hot out there. And I'm like, well, then
- 14:51Speaker 4: don't come, I guess. What do you want me to say?
- 14:53Speaker 4: It's not a requirement.
- 14:54Speaker 2: You're there by yourself.
- 14:56Speaker 4: The funny thing is I did this for over a
- 14:59Speaker 4: year last year. And I did a couple games like
- 15:03Speaker 4: wiffle ball and not like a lot like adult recess
- 15:06Speaker 4: like I have. And no one showed up for over
- 15:08Speaker 4: a year.
- 15:08Speaker 9: Oh, wow.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I think I had a couple people.
- 15:10Speaker 4: That showed up. And then, well, because I want to
- 15:13Speaker 4: do this because I want to do this.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Right. So now what's the most amount of people you've
- 15:16Speaker 2: had show up?
- 15:17Speaker 9: Oh, 150. Wow.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Can you imagine that?
- 15:19Speaker 2: That's insane. It's probably going to be bigger this weekend.
- 15:22Speaker 2: The weather's great. And we're talking about it.
- 15:24Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 4: I went from like six people for the first two weeks.
- 15:27Speaker 4: And then one of my buddies came back last weekend.
- 15:29Speaker 4: He was like, yo, what the hell happened?
- 15:31Speaker 2: There was six of us.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Now there's over 100. Wow.
- 15:33Speaker 2: All right. This Sunday, 430 Apache Park. Thanks, Mike. Adult recess.
- 15:37Speaker 4: So much for your time.
- 15:38Speaker 2: You got it, brother. Good luck. Congratulations. Great idea. We
- 15:41Speaker 2: want to hear your voice on the John Jay and
- 15:43Speaker 2: Rich Show.
- 15:44Speaker 8: Send us a top back from the red microphone button
- 15:46Speaker 8: on the free iHeartRadio app.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Your voice message will come right to us in the studio.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And we'll take it from there.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Hey, guys, let's do stacks and hacks.
- 15:53Speaker 8: Yeah, let's.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I have stacks of information. Rich has life hacks. Are
- 15:59Speaker 2: you stressed about being single? It was asked of a
- 16:02Speaker 2: bunch of people, single people. A new study found that
- 16:04Speaker 2: people who remain unmarried and unpartnered report high levels of
- 16:11Speaker 2: contentment with their lives overall.
- 16:13Speaker 9: Yeah. You don't have that extra stress of like.
- 16:17Speaker 8: No one checking in on you, picking whatever you want
- 16:20Speaker 8: to eat for dinner.
- 16:21Speaker 9: Yeah, I feel like there's definitely that age that you
- 16:24Speaker 9: kind of get over it. Like I have a couple
- 16:26Speaker 9: of friends who are single right now. And I want
- 16:27Speaker 9: to say like mid-20s, they were really trying to find
- 16:31Speaker 9: their man, get that picket fence, you know, that baby,
- 16:33Speaker 9: that family. And now we're late 20s and they're like, yeah, maybe,
- 16:38Speaker 9: maybe I'll entertain you.
- 16:39Speaker 2: You get set in your own ways and that's kind
- 16:41Speaker 2: of a good thing.
- 16:42Speaker 8: But then you like really want to be alone forever.
- 16:44Speaker 9: That's the only thing.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 16:45Speaker 9: Maybe you do. Maybe you do.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Airbnb is cracking down on hosts, forcing guests to complete
- 16:51Speaker 2: elaborate cleanup checklists before leaving, on top of paying a
- 16:54Speaker 2: cleaning fee. They're specifically nixing stuff that takes significant effort
- 16:57Speaker 2: and time. I agree with this. I remember once when
- 17:00Speaker 2: I had an Airbnb, and it was like, we had
- 17:02Speaker 2: to do all these things, and I was like, what
- 17:03Speaker 2: the hell?
- 17:04Speaker 8: Strip the sheets, do every dish, wipe down, dust. It
- 17:07Speaker 8: gets out of control, because you're already paying $ 150 cleaning fees.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:10Speaker 9: Exactly. And if you're going to do that, make sure
- 17:12Speaker 9: that the house that you're going into is in the
- 17:14Speaker 9: same condition that it should be expected. I literally was
- 17:17Speaker 9: talking to Kadeem's stepmom the other day. She showed me
- 17:20Speaker 9: pictures of her Airbnb. I wouldn't have stayed there. It
- 17:23Speaker 9: was disgusting. And they were paying like 600 bucks a night.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Half of Americans say that their home, when they come
- 17:31Speaker 2: home from vacation, they're completely wiped out. So for 2027,
- 17:35Speaker 2: the top travel tent is called Quiet Questing. where the
- 17:38Speaker 2: trip is focused on peace, unplugging, and escaping your obligations. Well,
- 17:41Speaker 2: that sounds amazing.
- 17:42Speaker 8: Quiet questing.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Group of teen boys dined and dashed on a $ 300 tab.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Unfortunately for them, one of them left their cell phone behind.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Story doesn't end there. The kid's mom went to retrieve
- 17:54Speaker 2: the phone and got mad at the server because they
- 17:57Speaker 2: were asking her to pay the bill. And she was like,
- 17:59Speaker 2: she did eventually, but she was like, just chill out there, boys.
- 18:02Speaker 2: It's $ 300, lady.
- 18:03Speaker 8: You can't just get away with something because they're just boys.
- 18:07Speaker 2: A Penn State study says that four minutes of strength
- 18:10Speaker 2: training daily, four minutes, can significantly improve mobility and physical
- 18:14Speaker 2: function in older adults. That's important. You guys know who
- 18:18Speaker 2: Warren Buffett is? Yeah. He's one of the richest guys
- 18:20Speaker 2: in the world.
- 18:20Speaker 9: Well, one of, yeah.
- 18:21Speaker 8: Well, he used to be the richest, right? Until like
- 18:23Speaker 8: Elon Musk and everyone.
- 18:24Speaker 2: He's one of the first billionaires, but he definitely is
- 18:27Speaker 2: up there. He's a billionaire. He's 96 years old. And
- 18:30Speaker 2: every day he drinks five cans of Coke every day.
- 18:33Speaker 2: In 2023, he said, I think happiness makes an enormous
- 18:36Speaker 2: amount of difference in terms of longevity. And I'm happier
- 18:38Speaker 2: when I'm drinking my Coke or eating hot fudge sundaes
- 18:41Speaker 2: or hot dogs. He's 96.
- 18:42Speaker 8: He's doing something, right?
- 18:44Speaker 2: Then I saw this thing on Instagram that pissed me off.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And if anyone has it, can you send it to me?
- 18:48Speaker 2: Because I didn't save it. But generally, it shows all
- 18:51Speaker 2: these people that invented certain things and when they died.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Like the guy that invented the treadmill died at 54
- 18:57Speaker 2: years old. Meanwhile, freaking Colonel Sanders died at 96.
- 19:00Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 2: The guy that invented some sort of running shoe died
- 19:05Speaker 2: at 40. The guy that invented bourbon died at 99.
- 19:08Speaker 2: He might be.
- 19:10Speaker 9: On to something.
- 19:11Speaker 7: It turns out you got to retox a little too.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Not just detox, retox.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I have something on cars. I thought this was really interesting.
- 19:20Speaker 2: The top cars for every generation. Oh, wow. Okay. Like, Peyton,
- 19:24Speaker 2: you're a Gen Z. What's a favorite car of yours?
- 19:26Speaker 3: G-Wagon?
- 19:27Speaker 2: No, a functional one. I know.
- 19:28Speaker 8: I was like, what, your dream car?
- 19:29Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no. A car that you drive
- 19:32Speaker 2: that you love.
- 19:32Speaker 9: Oh, probably like a durable, like a nice Toyota. Like
- 19:37Speaker 9: a Corolla, which is what I drive.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Toyota Camry's up at the top. Nissan Altima, Honda Accord,
- 19:41Speaker 2: Honda Civic. Peyton, or Kyle, you're a millennial. What about you?
- 19:45Speaker 8: I like my Tesla.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Tesla, that's not in there. Not in there. Not in
- 19:49Speaker 2: the top five. come on you got Honda Civic Ford
- 19:52Speaker 2: F-Series Nissan Altima Toyota Camry Honda Accord Rich you're Gen
- 19:56Speaker 2: X what do you got.
- 19:57Speaker 7: What about a Ford Raptor John uh Ford F-Series is
- 20:00Speaker 7: number one.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah yeah it ticks all the boxes you
- 20:03Speaker 2: know Honda Accord is up there and I had Honda
- 20:06Speaker 2: I love Hondas I love my Honda um Anyway, Rich,
- 20:10Speaker 2: what do you got for Life Hacks?
- 20:12Speaker 7: Kyle, this is especially for you since you are known
- 20:15Speaker 7: to be rough on houseplants staying alive.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Am I right? Am I right?
- 20:19Speaker 9: Yeah, it's so sad.
- 20:20Speaker 7: So I don't know if you've heard that playing music
- 20:23Speaker 7: for your plants actually helps them live longer. So scientists
- 20:28Speaker 7: went to the mat on this and they're like, okay, well,
- 20:30Speaker 7: what kind of music? First of all, does it work?
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yes, it does.
- 20:33Speaker 7: What kind of music? There's two types of music that
- 20:37Speaker 7: plants seem to really like.
- 20:38Speaker 2: And that is... classical music, which I don't think you're
- 20:41Speaker 2: a huge fan of.
- 20:42Speaker 8: I like classical music.
- 20:43Speaker 9: Okay, well, that's good.
- 20:44Speaker 8: I just don't really partake in it that often.
- 20:45Speaker 7: And I think John Jay's wife is a big fan
- 20:47Speaker 7: of Yacht Rock. Yacht Rock finished number two for plants.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Wow, that's wild.
- 20:50Speaker 7: So plants like to go, Silly takes me away.
- 20:54Speaker 2: They love that.
- 20:55Speaker 7: So remember, sunlight, water, and some Christopher Cross will get
- 20:58Speaker 7: it done. Or some Mozart, I guess. That's your life hack.
- 21:01Speaker 7: That can be found at johnjayandrich.com.
- 21:02Speaker 2: You know, speaking of music, do you know, think about
- 21:05Speaker 2: all the country music artists that you've heard of your
- 21:08Speaker 2: entire life.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 2: You know who the highest selling country artist is of
- 21:12Speaker 2: all time? Garth Brooks.
- 21:13Speaker 9: Tim McGraw.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Garth Brooks is number two. Tim McGraw is number nine.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Dolly Parton.
- 21:17Speaker 8: Shania Twain.
- 21:19Speaker 2: No, I don't think there's a woman in this list. Oh,
- 21:22Speaker 2: that's a shame. Number 10 is Carrie Underwood.
- 21:24Speaker 8: I was going to say.
- 21:25Speaker 9: Okay.
- 21:26Speaker 8: Taylor Swift.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Quirly Nelson.
- 21:27Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Oh, so it's not Tim McGraw and it's not Garth Brooks.
- 21:31Speaker 8: It's got to be like Clint Black or something.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Who'd you say, Kyle?
- 21:34Speaker 8: Clint Black.
- 21:35Speaker 3: No.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Johnny Cash.
- 21:36Speaker 3: No.
- 21:37Speaker 2: All right, Chris Stapleton is number eight. Kenny Chesty is
- 21:40Speaker 2: number seven. George Strait is number six. Zach Bryan is
- 21:44Speaker 2: number five. Luke Bryan, his brother, is number four.
- 21:48Speaker 8: They're brothers.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Luke Combs, their third brother, is number three. Garth Brooks
- 21:53Speaker 2: is number two. The number one highest-selling country artist of
- 21:57Speaker 2: all time, which blew me away because, I mean, he's
- 21:59Speaker 2: fairly— he was discovered on TV, is Morgan Wallen.
- 22:03Speaker 9: Oh, yeah. He did like what? Like American Idol, right?
- 22:06Speaker 8: Way to go, Morgan.
- 22:07Speaker 2: He was on one of those shows, American Idol, America's
- 22:09Speaker 2: Got Talent, The Voice, and he didn't win. But to
- 22:13Speaker 2: know that he sells out arenas. But the thing is,
- 22:15Speaker 2: you have him compared to like Garth Brooks, who's been
- 22:16Speaker 2: doing it for 30 years, and this guy's been doing
- 22:18Speaker 2: it for less than five, ten. Anyway, very interesting.
- 22:21Speaker 8: Don't just listen to John Jay and Rich.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Be a part of the show.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Call 1-877-937-1047 to get on the air now.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I saw this story. It says you can now hire people.
- 22:32Speaker 2: to deck out your porch and pumpkins to prepare for trick-or-treaters.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And I say this, I went over to pick up
- 22:36Speaker 2: this buddy of mine the other day, and I went
- 22:38Speaker 2: to his house, and his house was decorated like crazy,
- 22:40Speaker 2: but more like Thanksgiving autumn vibes, you know what I'm
- 22:42Speaker 2: talking about? Like that whole thing, what are the horns
- 22:44Speaker 2: aplenty and all that stuff? Sure, all the wreaths. It
- 22:46Speaker 2: was more like Thanksgiving, but this person, there's a woman
- 22:49Speaker 2: in Texas going viral, her name's Heather Torres. She has
- 22:52Speaker 2: a small business called Porch Pumpkins. She charges between $ 350
- 22:56Speaker 2: and $ 1, 650 to decorate. Sheesh. She does over 1,300 homes
- 23:04Speaker 2: a year. Wow, she's rolling. Yeah, she does a lot
- 23:06Speaker 2: of pumpkins.
- 23:06Speaker 17: I lay some, like, as they come, but then I
- 23:09Speaker 17: also will turn some on their sides. We will cross
- 23:12Speaker 17: over the 1,000 threshold today, actually. and those are 1,000
- 23:17Speaker 17: different porches. Friends have been asking me, like, would you
- 23:20Speaker 17: do a pumpkin display like yours for my home?
- 23:23Speaker 9: No, I was not born.
- 23:24Speaker 17: With the love of pumpkins, but I have loved them
- 23:28Speaker 17: ever since I was a mom.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Heather started the business back in 2020 and apparently rakes
- 23:33Speaker 2: over $ 100, 000 a year. She also sells coaching sessions to
- 23:37Speaker 2: help other people around the country start their porch pumpkin
- 23:40Speaker 2: concierge business. Oh, that's great.
- 23:42Speaker 9: It's literally like how when people hire to go deck
- 23:45Speaker 9: out their dorm rooms or go. Yeah, that's totally true.
- 23:48Speaker 9: It's literally find and have a need fill a need.
- 23:50Speaker 2: That's right.
- 23:51Speaker 7: Kind of what's happening with my wife, Stacy, right now,
- 23:53Speaker 7: her aunt's moving houses. And she said, all of my
- 23:56Speaker 7: stuff seems dated. Will you go shopping with me? And
- 23:59Speaker 7: Stacy's like, no, I will not. I will just go
- 24:01Speaker 7: shopping and decorate your whole place for you. So she
- 24:05Speaker 7: got a check from her aunt and her aunt keeps
- 24:09Speaker 7: on wanting to stop by the new place to see
- 24:10Speaker 7: how things are coming along. Stacey will send her a
- 24:13Speaker 7: note and say, no, stay away until I'm totally done zhuzhing.
- 24:17Speaker 9: What if she doesn't like it, though?
- 24:18Speaker 7: Well, she trusted her, I guess, because, you know, Stacey's
- 24:22Speaker 7: got that kind of thing.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Do you like furniture in the inside of the house?
- 24:24Speaker 7: I'm talking coffee pots. I'm talking silverware, bedding, end tables, lamps.
- 24:30Speaker 7: Because what happens is it all gets shipped to my house.
- 24:33Speaker 7: And then I got to carry over to her aunt's house.
- 24:35Speaker 7: And then Stacey zhuzhifies it. I'm talking pillows for couches, carpets.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Everything. So she just literally finished her aunt's house yesterday.
- 24:45Speaker 9: She needs to expand the Haisley. Like it needs to
- 24:47Speaker 9: be Haisley custom event space and the Haisley custom decor.
- 24:53Speaker 2: How does she do that?
- 24:54Speaker 8: Haisley design.
- 24:54Speaker 2: But how does she do that? A wedding venue and
- 24:57Speaker 2: then have time to decorate someone's house. She always takes
- 25:00Speaker 2: on extra. Is it just online or does she go
- 25:01Speaker 2: to stores and stuff and pick stuff up?
- 25:02Speaker 7: Well, she went into like living spaces to get, you know,
- 25:05Speaker 7: to pick out the couches and the bed. But a
- 25:07Speaker 7: lot of the stuff I think she finds, you know, on,
- 25:09Speaker 7: you know, Etsy or Wayfair.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Or any of those things. I would say Hobby Lobby.
- 25:13Speaker 7: Well, I know I went with her to HomeGoods last
- 25:15Speaker 7: week to go get, you know, things. But I will
- 25:19Speaker 7: put a picture up of her aunt's place that was
- 25:21Speaker 7: just totally, I mean, she just bought like a little.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Oh, you have like a before and after you mean?
- 25:25Speaker 2: I don't know if she has it before, but I
- 25:26Speaker 2: have an after. Oh, she should do, if she could
- 25:28Speaker 2: do that, she should have one of those transition videos
- 25:29Speaker 2: on TikTok where it's an empty house and then she
- 25:31Speaker 2: snaps her fingers.
- 25:32Speaker 7: She might've taken pictures of the empty house. I just
- 25:34Speaker 7: asked her for some pictures, but I haven't walked in
- 25:37Speaker 7: there yet, but I've seen the pictures and I'd be like,
- 25:39Speaker 7: go ahead. In fact, I did do that at my house.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Go ahead, do whatever you want. She was going to
- 25:45Speaker 7: do that anyway. So is she going to open this
- 25:46Speaker 7: up to other people or she just did it for
- 25:49Speaker 7: her aunt? That's the thing is, you know, a few
- 25:50Speaker 7: people that have helped her with it. Like, you need
- 25:52Speaker 7: to do this for my friend or this person. And
- 25:55Speaker 7: I think Stacey likes that stuff.
- 25:57Speaker 9: Kyle just gave her the name, the Haisley Design. Like,
- 25:59Speaker 9: that is so good.
- 26:00Speaker 2: That's pretty cool. But the thing that we're just kind
- 26:02Speaker 2: of overlooking is that the aunt wrote a check for
- 26:05Speaker 2: a certain amount of money. Like a pretty good chunk
- 26:07Speaker 2: of money.
- 26:08Speaker 9: I hope to live a life like that one day.
- 26:10Speaker 7: But the problem I have with it is Stacey went
- 26:13Speaker 7: over budget and I paid for that.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I could do that for her. She could do it
- 26:18Speaker 2: to my house, but she has to go to the
- 26:19Speaker 2: dollar store. Yeah. And that's limited to no spray.
- 26:23Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 2: You could go there and, you know, five below. That's it.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Post whatever picture you can. She sent you up on
- 26:29Speaker 2: our Instagram. John J. Every year for the many, many years,
- 26:36Speaker 2: we've done the John J. And Rich chainsaw show. Massacre,
- 26:40Speaker 2: wake up, or we sneak into someone's house with a chainsaw.
- 26:51Speaker 12: Somebody wants to talk to you.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 27:02Speaker 15: This is so awesome.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Fire alarms going off. Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 13: Oh, my God.
- 27:08Speaker 1: This is so awesome.
- 27:10Speaker 12: You look way scarier than I thought.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Have a great Halloween.
- 27:15Speaker 12: Thank you so much.
- 27:16Speaker 11: Happy Halloween, guys.
- 27:18Speaker 2: We're doing something a little different this year because of
- 27:19Speaker 2: the hit movie Obsession. That's right, and nobody's scarier than Nikki.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Scarier than a chainsaw. And the thing is that she would, like, what,
- 27:27Speaker 2: get up in this person? I never saw the movie.
- 27:28Speaker 7: Stare at her boyfriend when he was sleeping and wait
- 27:30Speaker 7: for him to wake up and be right on his
- 27:32Speaker 7: face and, you know, just say cringey things to him.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Scare him half to death. Nikki?
- 27:37Speaker 9: What are you doing? Watching you sleep.
- 27:39Speaker 5: Here's how human you sleep.
- 27:42Speaker 12: Can you come back to bed?
- 27:45Speaker 3: No. No.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I feel like you don't love me as much as
- 27:56Speaker 1: I do.
- 27:58Speaker 9: Like it's not mutual.
- 28:00Speaker 13: No, I do.
- 28:00Speaker 16: Just come back to bed.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Please.
- 28:04Speaker 9: Why don't you love me?
- 28:21Speaker 2: So Brianna's online because she wants us to do that
- 28:23Speaker 2: to her boyfriend, but we're trying to do something. Dylan
- 28:25Speaker 2: is with Brianna right now, and Dylan is going to
- 28:27Speaker 2: be the person that does all the crazy stuff. Good morning, Brianna.
- 28:31Speaker 10: Good morning, you guys.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Tell us a little bit about the situation with your boyfriend.
- 28:35Speaker 2: And I know it's early, early, early morning. Right now
- 28:37Speaker 2: it's dark. He's sleeping, right? Oh, my God.
- 28:40Speaker 16: I'm so excited.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Yeah, my boyfriend is like.
- 28:42Speaker 16: Literally impossible to wake up. I can yell at him,
- 28:45Speaker 16: shake him, turn all the lights on and off. He
- 28:48Speaker 16: does not get out of bed. I don't get it.
- 28:50Speaker 16: So I wanted to prank him and recreate that scene
- 28:53Speaker 16: where Nikki gets right up in his face, like you
- 28:56Speaker 16: were saying, and keeps saying, like, wake up. He's literally
- 29:00Speaker 16: going to lose his mind. Yeah, he's dead asleep right now.
- 29:03Speaker 16: He has no idea what's going on.
- 29:04Speaker 2: But he's seen Obsession.
- 29:06Speaker 7: So was he freaked out by that at all, like
- 29:08Speaker 7: I was, where I didn't sleep for three straight nights?
- 29:11Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 29:11Speaker 16: I don't think I've ever seen him so scared coming
- 29:13Speaker 16: out of a horror movie.
- 29:14Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you guys. Yesterday, I was watching Dylan
- 29:19Speaker 2: practice her face.
- 29:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I'm telling you. It's really good. Like, if you don't
- 29:24Speaker 2: know her and you wake up with that face next
- 29:26Speaker 2: to you. So, Dylan, are you ready to walk in
- 29:29Speaker 2: the house and go do it?
- 29:30Speaker 3: I'm here.
- 29:30Speaker 10: I'm dressed like Vicky. I'm ready to scare.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Okay, now listen. This is the first time you're doing
- 29:35Speaker 2: something like this for us, so you need to be quiet, quiet,
- 29:38Speaker 2: and whisper, and whisper. crawl in. So, Brianna, you're going
- 29:43Speaker 2: to walk her in, and then I just want you
- 29:45Speaker 2: to walk us through it slowly.
- 29:46Speaker 9: Okay.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Okay. We're going in. All right, come.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Yeah, follow me this way.
- 29:53Speaker 13: Come this way.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Okay, we're going down this hallway.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Okay. Be safe.
- 29:59Speaker 5: He's completely asleep.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 30:02Speaker 18: I'm trying not to laugh.
- 30:03Speaker 13: Okay.
- 30:04Speaker 9: Okay.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Are you in position, Dylan?
- 30:06Speaker 4: I'm going in.
- 30:07Speaker 13: I'm getting under the covers right now.
- 30:09Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 30:10Speaker 8: Not under the covers.
- 30:12Speaker 9: Under the covers.
- 30:13Speaker 11: Right next to his face.
- 30:15Speaker 10: Okay.
- 30:16Speaker 11: I'm going to start. I'm going to start.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Wake up!
- 30:20Speaker 7: Wake up!
- 30:21Speaker 10: Wake up!
- 30:22Speaker 6: Wake up!
- 30:23Speaker 7: Wake up!
- 30:24Speaker 9: Wake up!
- 30:25Speaker 2: Wake up!
- 30:25Speaker 11: Wake up!
- 30:26Speaker 13: Wake up!
- 30:27Speaker 18: Wake up!
- 30:28Speaker 2: Wake up!
- 30:28Speaker 12: Wake up!
- 30:29Speaker 11: Wake up!
- 30:29Speaker 13: Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!
- 30:30Speaker 1: Wake up!
- 30:32Speaker 8: Wake up!
- 30:33Speaker 9: Wake up!
- 30:33Speaker 7: Wake up!
- 30:34Speaker 2: Wake up!
- 30:34Speaker 13: Wake up!
- 30:36Speaker 6: Wake up!
- 30:37Speaker 11: Wake up!
- 30:38Speaker 3: Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!
- 30:40Speaker 9: Wake up!
- 30:41Speaker 11: Wake up!
- 30:41Speaker 9: Wake up! Wake up!
- 30:42Speaker 6: Wake up! Wake up!
- 30:43Speaker 2: Wake up!
- 30:44Speaker 13: Wake up!
- 30:57Speaker 6: Oh, honey.
- 30:58Speaker 18: It's a prank.
- 31:01Speaker 2: It's a prank. It's a prank. Baby.
- 31:06Speaker 12: Wake up.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Are you awake? Don't forget to tell him how much
- 31:09Speaker 2: you love him.
- 31:10Speaker 4: So, so, so, so, so much.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Chris, you're on the radio.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Help him out.
- 31:14Speaker 10: Are you okay?
- 31:15Speaker 3: Hand Chris the phone.
- 31:19Speaker 2: What is what?
- 31:20Speaker 13: Chris.
- 31:20Speaker 17: The fucking radio?
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Chris, you're on the radio. John Jay and Richard,
- 31:24Speaker 2: that's Dylan, and she does have a freaky face.
- 31:26Speaker 3: What?
- 31:26Speaker 9: No, she doesn't. Yes, she does.
- 31:28Speaker 2: When you see her make this face, when you see,
- 31:31Speaker 2: hold on a minute.
- 31:31Speaker 8: I gotta see the face.
- 31:32Speaker 2: When you see the face she makes, trust me, trust me,
- 31:35Speaker 2: it's creepy.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Babe, are you kidding?
- 31:38Speaker 8: What the fuck?
- 31:39Speaker 2: Babe, he likes it.
- 31:40Speaker 9: He's scared, okay?
- 31:42Speaker 13: He's like, who is this person?
- 31:43Speaker 9: I'm dying.
- 31:44Speaker 8: Why would you do that?
- 31:48Speaker 10: I literally never wake up.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Oh, my God, I'm dead.
- 31:51Speaker 11: I can't.
- 31:53Speaker 5: It was obviously a prank.
- 31:55Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 31:57Speaker 6: I've never been.
- 32:00Speaker 3: This scared in my whole life.
- 32:02Speaker 2: What the f * * * is your problem?
- 32:03Speaker 7: I saw a little tribute to the movie Obsession.
- 32:08Speaker 9: Oh, that was good.
- 32:09Speaker 8: Good job, Dill.
- 32:10Speaker 9: You crushed it.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I'm shaking.
- 32:12Speaker 4: I'm literally shaking.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I know.
- 32:20Speaker 2: That was awesome. Brianna, that was awesome. Dylan, would you
- 32:24Speaker 2: take us out by telling us to wake up?
- 32:26Speaker 10: Wake up, wake up.
- 32:28Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 32:29Speaker 15: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 32:32Speaker 19: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 32:34Speaker 2: <HAL> All right. That was very fun doing our obsession
- 32:38Speaker 2: wake up call. It could be a new thing. Nikki,
- 32:40Speaker 2: Nikki on the line, but not Nikki from Obsession. Or
- 32:42Speaker 2: are you?
- 32:44Speaker 17: Hi, I'm good.
- 32:44Speaker 11: How are you?
- 32:45Speaker 4: Good.
- 32:45Speaker 2: What's up? What's your story?
- 32:47Speaker 13: Good.
- 32:47Speaker 18: So I have an obsession story. So my husband and
- 32:50Speaker 18: I watched Obsession for the first time, and it was
- 32:52Speaker 18: probably one of the scariest movies we've ever seen. My
- 32:54Speaker 18: husband does not like scary movies as it is, and
- 32:57Speaker 18: he hates to be scared. And so I get up
- 33:02Speaker 18: in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom,
- 33:03Speaker 18: and so I did. And so where he sleeps, our
- 33:06Speaker 18: bathroom door is like right by us, by him. And
- 33:09Speaker 18: so when I got up to go to the restroom,
- 33:11Speaker 18: I decided to, like, stand in the middle of the
- 33:13Speaker 18: door in this, like.
- 33:14Speaker 10: Pitch black.
- 33:15Speaker 18: And he sleeps and faces that way. So I just
- 33:18Speaker 18: stood there for a minute. And then he just felt
- 33:20Speaker 18: my presence and, like, screamed so loud. Woke up, like,
- 33:25Speaker 18: the whole house. So the funny thing is my sister-in-law
- 33:29Speaker 18: lives with us. And so the next morning I was
- 33:30Speaker 18: telling her about the story because she also.
- 33:32Speaker 6: Saw the movie.
- 33:33Speaker 18: And I was telling her how bad I scared him.
- 33:36Speaker 18: He was so upset. And she was like, oh, my God,
- 33:39Speaker 18: me and my girlfriend, we heard him scream last night.
- 33:42Speaker 18: And we were wondering, like, is he okay? And then
- 33:44Speaker 18: my sister-in-law thought, she's like, we thought you were getting busy. Like, dang,
- 33:47Speaker 18: my brother screams like that?
- 33:50Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 33:52Speaker 1: What?
- 33:53Speaker 18: It was so funny. And the funniest thing is my
- 33:55Speaker 18: name is also Nikki, so he's, like, traumatized now.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Oh my God. That is so funny. All you had
- 34:01Speaker 2: to do is stand in the darkened doorway. See, it's
- 34:04Speaker 2: the simple one.
- 34:05Speaker 7: We all these years thought it was the chainsaw that
- 34:08Speaker 7: scared people.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Turns out it's just Dylan. Just standing there, getting under
- 34:11Speaker 2: the covers.
- 34:12Speaker 18: And I could see, he's like, I could see like
- 34:14Speaker 18: a white, like, cause I'm so unlike complexed. So I
- 34:16Speaker 18: could just see long Brown hair and like a white
- 34:18Speaker 18: face and like, it scared the heck out of him.
- 34:21Speaker 18: It was so funny.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Why is this movie so scary? I got a one.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I'll see Nikki. So why is it so scary?
- 34:26Speaker 6: It is just creepy.
- 34:28Speaker 18: Like it's creepy. The things that she does in the
- 34:30Speaker 18: movie is like, it's just insane. Like you have to
- 34:34Speaker 18: watch it. It's a scary movie, but it's like a
- 34:35Speaker 18: different kind of scary.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 7: And you think about it too. The movie for me, Obsession.
- 34:40Speaker 7: starts off almost like a rom-com where the guy's, you know,
- 34:45Speaker 7: trying to talk about how to ask a girl out.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And it's actually kind of fun. And then it goes
- 34:49Speaker 2: sideways so fast.
- 34:50Speaker 9: Well, the thing is, too, it's like everyone always, I
- 34:53Speaker 9: feel like, has all eyes on Nikki. But in my opinion,
- 34:57Speaker 9: Bear is the true villain in the story because he
- 35:00Speaker 9: is the reason that she is the way that she is.
- 35:02Speaker 2: That's true. Or does he lie to her, manipulate her?
- 35:04Speaker 9: No, he literally casts a spell on her is what happens.
- 35:07Speaker 18: Oh, yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Bye, Nikki. Hey, well, thank you for listening.
- 35:12Speaker 6: Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Bye. Yeah, Nikki comes unhinged.
- 35:15Speaker 9: Yeah, I think it freaks people out because it's like,
- 35:19Speaker 9: I mean, we've seen the movie's obsession, you know what
- 35:21Speaker 9: I mean? And it's just like, it's freaky because it
- 35:23Speaker 9: could be real life. And I think that's what freaks
- 35:25Speaker 9: people out so much.
- 35:26Speaker 7: Yeah, it's not like there's a lot of special effects,
- 35:29Speaker 7: just kind of craziness.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Chewy, you're on the air. Good morning.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Hey, good morning, John Jay. Give me a second because
- 35:35Speaker 3: I know you hate the headphones. So I'm at work.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Give me a second to try to do some hiding.
- 35:41Speaker 2: You've been on hold for three minutes. You can't do
- 35:43Speaker 2: that while you're on hold for three minutes?
- 35:46Speaker 3: Give me a sec.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 35:47Speaker 17: Give him a sec.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Chewy needs a sec.
- 35:50Speaker 9: He said he's at work.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Where do you work, Chewy?
- 35:54Speaker 3: I can't tell you where I work. All I can
- 35:56Speaker 3: tell you is I'm a trimmer.
- 35:57Speaker 13: Okay.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Haircut or bushes? What do you guys think?
- 36:01Speaker 13: I like how you think.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Or down the hall. It's the Aaron trimmer. A trimmer.
- 36:08Speaker 2: We can't tell you where he works.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Go ahead, trimmer.
- 36:10Speaker 3: A trimmer is automotive upholstery.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Oh, very nice. And you know what? I need to.
- 36:16Speaker 2: My son, I got his car wrapped a couple years ago,
- 36:18Speaker 2: and now his car is, like, peeling, and I need
- 36:21Speaker 2: to get the wrap removed. Do you guys do that?
- 36:25Speaker 2: I don't do that. All right. That's a peeler.
- 36:28Speaker 3: I just do strictly interior, so I can do your headliner,
- 36:30Speaker 3: your carpet, your seats, your convertible top.
- 36:32Speaker 13: I can do all that, but not the rest.
- 36:34Speaker 9: You're talking exterior.
- 36:35Speaker 8: He does the interior.
- 36:36Speaker 2: I need a peeler.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Yes, ma'am.
- 36:37Speaker 2: I need a peeler, not a trimmer. All right, so
- 36:39Speaker 2: what's your story? Chewie, what's up?
- 36:40Speaker 3: All right, so my story is, you know, Australia Mountain,
- 36:42Speaker 3: this big old huge park. Every Easter, a lot of.
- 36:46Speaker 13: Families get together there, and my mother.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Has 12 brothers and sisters.
- 36:51Speaker 13: My grandparents were there, and.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Everyone gets there.
- 36:55Speaker 13: So I got hundreds of cousins and great cousins.
- 36:58Speaker 3: So anyways, so this kid comes, and he starts terrorizing.
- 37:03Speaker 13: Our family, specifically my mom.
- 37:07Speaker 3: This kid, he's going through. He wasn't talking.
- 37:11Speaker 13: He wasn't speaking.
- 37:12Speaker 3: He was going to my mom. It was the Easter
- 37:14Speaker 3: right after the World Series that we won the Diamondbacks,
- 37:18Speaker 3: and my mom likes to represent. So the kid's going
- 37:20Speaker 3: up to my mom, pointing at her shirt, and... and
- 37:24Speaker 3: enjoying on the dirt.
- 37:26Speaker 13: And my uncles are like just making fun.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Ah, Chewie, it's your long lost brother. It's your long
- 37:30Speaker 3: lost brother.
- 37:30Speaker 13: It's your twin brother. And my mom's crying and.
- 37:33Speaker 3: I'm just kind of freaking out. But then my uncles,
- 37:36Speaker 3: they shoo him away. And it got kind of crazy.
- 37:41Speaker 3: It got really wild after that. About 30 minutes later,
- 37:45Speaker 3: he comes back. And he had, remember, you remember back
- 37:50Speaker 3: in the day at the grocery store, they used to
- 37:51Speaker 3: have those cheap balls for like a dollar. um in
- 37:55Speaker 3: the cage well he came back with the huge one
- 37:58Speaker 3: and he comes straight to my mom and he's pointing
- 38:01Speaker 3: at my mom's shirt again and he turns the ball
- 38:03Speaker 3: around and it has my mom's exact signature on the
- 38:07Speaker 3: ball in huge letters and my mom starts bawling crying
- 38:12Speaker 3: and my family's real big on wrestling they're big family
- 38:15Speaker 3: wrestlers so um or they're fans of wrestlers my grandma
- 38:19Speaker 3: she uh, 70 something years old, runs up to the
- 38:22Speaker 3: kid and just clothesline them to the ground.
- 38:24Speaker 2: How old is this kid? Is this kid 17? Is
- 38:27Speaker 2: this kid four?
- 38:28Speaker 13: No, we were, I was, I was probably like 13.
- 38:31Speaker 3: He was probably around my same age.
- 38:33Speaker 13: Cause everyone kept making fun.
- 38:34Speaker 4: It's your long lost brother.
- 38:35Speaker 2: It's your long lost brothers.
- 38:36Speaker 13: You twin brother.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I said, grandma beats the hell out of the 13
- 38:38Speaker 2: year old. Then what?
- 38:40Speaker 9: Pretty much.
- 38:41Speaker 3: But, uh, to this day, if you mention it, my
- 38:44Speaker 3: mom will cry and all of us just kind of
- 38:46Speaker 3: laugh at it.
- 38:47Speaker 2: So did the kid disappear? Is he a ghost?
- 38:49Speaker 3: No, we don't know who he was. So after we
- 38:53Speaker 3: ran him off the first time, he went up to
- 38:57Speaker 3: other people's parties and was flipping tables and throwing cakes.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I'm Hispanic, you know, we get together, we have food, dessert, postre,
- 39:07Speaker 3: all that. So he was going to other events and
- 39:10Speaker 3: flipping their stuff and people were freaking out. But for
- 39:12Speaker 3: some reason, he took a big interest in my mom.
- 39:15Speaker 2: You know what's weird is I'm Hispanic too, but I
- 39:18Speaker 2: have white friends and they also have food and dessert
- 39:21Speaker 2: at picnics.
- 39:23Speaker 8: Yeah, you're right.
- 39:25Speaker 2: You're right.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I just think like, for me it's like, why do
- 39:28Speaker 3: we have to have cake on this day?
- 39:29Speaker 13: I know.
- 39:30Speaker 9: It's a regular day.
- 39:33Speaker 2: That's fair. Chewy, that's a weird story, dude. I believe
- 39:37Speaker 2: it's real because who would make that up? Who would
- 39:40Speaker 2: put that through? Who would put that call through? That's
- 39:42Speaker 2: what I want. I don't know. All right, Chewy. No
- 39:45Speaker 2: call screener today? Is that what's going on? She just
- 39:47Speaker 2: did obsession bit. All right, Chewy, have a great day, brother.

- 41:11Speaker 2: Oh, the Crocs flip-flops are awesome.
- 41:12Speaker 9: So comfy. No, that's not.
- 41:14Speaker 2: So I have some Croc facts that I didn't know about.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I thought it was interesting. Crocs first unveiled at the
- 41:18Speaker 2: Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in 2002. They only had 200 pairs,
- 41:22Speaker 2: and they sold out right away. They aren't made from
- 41:25Speaker 2: rubber or plastic. Crocs are made from material called cross-light.
- 41:29Speaker 2: And in 2004, Crocs bought the exclusive rights to the material.
- 41:32Speaker 2: They have now sold over 850 million pairs of Crocs.
- 41:37Speaker 12: Wow.
- 41:37Speaker 9: Holy moly.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Man, oh man. We could have been part of it.
- 41:41Speaker 4: We could have been.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Each pair of shoes has 26 holes, 13 on each foot.
- 41:46Speaker 2: And the holes are there to provide airflow drainage to
- 41:49Speaker 2: help reduce weight. Crocs bought Jivitz for $ 10 million in 2006.
- 41:55Speaker 2: That's the company that puts all the little charms in,
- 41:57Speaker 2: you know? Yeah. And in 2017, Crocs walked in Paris
- 42:00Speaker 2: Fashion Week. It was a collaboration with Balenciaga, included 4-inch
- 42:04Speaker 2: platform Clorox, which makes it official. Crocs is a fashion brand.
- 42:09Speaker 2: So some fun, interesting Croc facts for you guys. Croc facts.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Tiffany's our contestant for Minute to Win It. Good morning, Tiffany.
- 42:18Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 42:19Speaker 2: What are you doing today? Where are you?
- 42:22Speaker 15: I am in surprise. I'm just getting ready for work.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Oh, and tell us a little fun fact about yourself, Tiffany.
- 42:30Speaker 15: A fun fact.
- 42:31Speaker 16: I love fishing.
- 42:32Speaker 15: I went deep sea fishing in Maui and.
- 42:35Speaker 5: Caught a 22 pound fish.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Wow. That's amazing. That is awesome. That's astounding.
- 42:43Speaker 8: Wow.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Look at you go.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 2: All right.
- 42:45Speaker 3: It was epic.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Good luck to you. I hope you win this thousand bucks, Tiff.
- 42:49Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from

- 42:55Speaker 7: Okay, Tiffany, 60 seconds on the clock. You just got
- 42:59Speaker 7: to get all 10 of these right, and you win.
- 43:01Speaker 7: Let's lock in, Tiffany.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 43:03Speaker 7: What 2004 comedy movie stars Will Ferrell as news anchor
- 43:08Speaker 7: Ron Burgundy?
- 43:09Speaker 2: Anchorman.
- 43:12Speaker 7: What German automaker has four interlocking rings as its logo?
- 43:16Speaker 2: Audi.
- 43:19Speaker 7: What Arizona city is home to the original London Bridge,
- 43:23Speaker 7: relocated from England?
- 43:24Speaker 15: Ooh, Lake Havasu?
- 43:31Speaker 2: Did she get it? My headphones came off. She got it.
- 43:34Speaker 7: What type of bird repeats the word nevermore in Edgar
- 43:36Speaker 7: Allan Poe's famous poem?
- 43:38Speaker 9: The raven.
- 43:40Speaker 7: What series features Sheriff Rick Grimes surviving a zombie apocalypse?
- 43:47Speaker 6: The Walking Dead.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Salem is the capital of what U.S.
- 43:50Speaker 13: State?
- 43:51Speaker 3: Oregon.
- 43:52Speaker 7: What California city will host the 2028 Summer Olympics? L.A.?
- 44:01Speaker 7: What do you call a word that reads the same
- 44:02Speaker 7: forwards and backwards like race car?
- 44:08Speaker 10: Antonym?
- 44:08Speaker 9: I don't know. Palindrome, right?
- 44:13Speaker 2: Palindrome.
- 44:17Speaker 8: You were rocking it, Tiff.
- 44:21Speaker 9: Good job.
- 44:22Speaker 10: Really good job.
- 44:23Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 44:24Speaker 2: That was really, really good. And behind the scenes, something
- 44:27Speaker 2: happened to Rich's headphones popped out. Is that what happened?
- 44:29Speaker 7: Well, yeah, I have a wireless pack and it dropped
- 44:32Speaker 7: and my headphones came unplugged. So I was feverishly trying
- 44:35Speaker 7: to plug it in while you were answering.
- 44:36Speaker 2: But it didn't do anything that wrong.
- 44:38Speaker 9: Yeah, but she ended up getting that one wrong anyway.
- 44:40Speaker 7: No, she got that right. Just at the right when
- 44:43Speaker 7: I plugged it in, I heard her answer.
- 44:44Speaker 9: I was talking about the last.
- 44:45Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 44:46Speaker 2: So, Tiffany, you get a gift card to Del Taco.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Thank you so much for listening, Tiffany. Really good player.
- 44:51Speaker 18: Thank you.
- 44:52Speaker 16: Thank you guys so much.
- 44:54Speaker 2: You got it. Hold on the line. We're going to
- 44:56Speaker 2: set you up. Interesting. By the way, Chewy brought up
- 44:59Speaker 2: the World Series, the Diamondbacks won in 2001. Yeah, we
- 45:03Speaker 2: were there. And I think the World Series starts tonight,
- 45:05Speaker 2: doesn't it? It does. It does. And it's who's in it?
- 45:08Speaker 2: Milwaukee and Tampa.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 2: The Rays.
- 45:13Speaker 9: The Rays.
- 45:15Speaker 2: So get this. I saw this fun fact. The World
- 45:18Speaker 2: Series begins tonight in Milwaukee. It's been so long since
- 45:21Speaker 2: the Brewers were in it that I have a montage
- 45:24Speaker 2: of the hit songs of when they were the number
- 45:27Speaker 2: one hit songs in 1982, the last time the Brewers
- 45:30Speaker 2: were in the World Series. And I think we talked
- 45:31Speaker 2: about it yesterday. Neither one of these teams has ever
- 45:33Speaker 2: been or has ever won a World Series. So somebody's
- 45:35Speaker 2: going to win for the first time. But the last
- 45:37Speaker 2: time the Brewers in the World Series, these were the
- 45:39Speaker 2: number one songs of that year. What a trip. A
- 46:04Speaker 2: couple of slappers in there, though.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Right? Yeah.
- 46:06Speaker 2: All right, some more stuff I have for you. Halloween information.
- 46:11Speaker 2: If you're on the hunt for ideas for couples' costumes,
- 46:14Speaker 2: like Peyton, you were going to be Spider-Man and MJ.
- 46:16Speaker 13: Yes.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Is that still happening? No.
- 46:18Speaker 13: No?
- 46:20Speaker 8: Because her husband was like, I'll be in costume and
- 46:23Speaker 8: you're just going to be in regular clothes.
- 46:25Speaker 9: Yeah, he was protesting. So right now I'm working on
- 46:27Speaker 9: Foxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers.
- 46:29Speaker 2: That's great.
- 46:30Speaker 8: So we will see.
- 46:31Speaker 2: That's really good. Yeah. Hasn't he been off the powers before?
- 46:34Speaker 9: Yeah, he has when he was a kid, which is
- 46:35Speaker 9: why it's a problem right now. He's like, I've already
- 46:37Speaker 9: been in. And I'm like, you're going to listen and
- 46:39Speaker 9: you're going to do it. It's either that or Stack
- 46:42Speaker 9: and Mary, but he wants to do the 80s version
- 46:44Speaker 9: and no one's going to recognize that.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Well, let me give you, these are the top 10
- 46:47Speaker 2: Halloween costumes for couples that don't go out of style.
- 46:49Speaker 2: They never go out of style.
- 46:50Speaker 9: Okay, let me hear.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Number 10 is Shrek and Fiona.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Number nine is Fred and Wilma Flintstone from the Flintstones.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Number eight, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible from the Incredibles.
- 47:01Speaker 9: That's a good one.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Number seven is Barbie and Ken. Number six is Danny
- 47:07Speaker 2: and Sandy from Grease. Number five is Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Oh,
- 47:12Speaker 2: how do you dress like them?
- 47:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Are they talking Brad Pitt? Yeah, I think so. I
- 47:17Speaker 2: don't know. Mr.
- 47:19Speaker 9: And Mrs.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Smith either go by the Brad Pitt movie or the
- 47:21Speaker 2: one with Childish Gambino.
- 47:23Speaker 9: Isn't that the one with.
- 47:24Speaker 2: The assassins and stuff? The movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith
- 47:27Speaker 2: was about assassins, and then they did a TV show
- 47:29Speaker 2: with Childish Gambino, and it was about assassins. So maybe
- 47:32Speaker 2: that's what they're talking about. Number four is Sally and
- 47:34Speaker 2: Jack Skellington. Oh, that's good. Number three is Bonnie and Clyde.
- 47:38Speaker 9: Oh, that's good.
- 47:41Speaker 2: And then number two is Lydia and Beetlejuice. And the
- 47:44Speaker 2: number one couple's costume, they say, of all time, that
- 47:47Speaker 2: is timeless, you can do it anytime, is Morticia and
- 47:50Speaker 2: Gomez Adams from the Adams family.
- 47:52Speaker 8: I wanted us to be the Addams Family this year.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that would have worked out great.
- 47:56Speaker 8: Nobody joined in. I was like, Easton, you'd be the
- 47:58Speaker 8: perfect Pugsley.
- 48:00Speaker 2: He would.
- 48:00Speaker 8: And then now he's like, I'm not wearing a dress.
- 48:02Speaker 9: And I'm like, okay, guys.
- 48:03Speaker 2: They protest all the fun.
- 48:05Speaker 9: Whatever. I like the Bonnie and Clyde one, though, because
- 48:08Speaker 9: you can kind of switch it up. Like, we kind
- 48:11Speaker 9: of had a Bonnie and Clyde-esque costume idea, and it
- 48:14Speaker 9: was Queen and Slim, which is kind of like a
- 48:16Speaker 9: Bonnie and Clyde, like, remake version, but more modern.
- 48:18Speaker 2: From Sinners.
- 48:19Speaker 9: No, well, Queen and Slim is like the black version
- 48:22Speaker 9: of Bonnie and Clyde.
- 48:23Speaker 2: It's super cool.
- 48:23Speaker 9: It's the guy that's in You, the Daniel Coyote guy,
- 48:27Speaker 9: I think that's his name, the main character in that,
- 48:31Speaker 9: what's it called? Oh, Get Out.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Oh, Get Out. The main character in Get Out, that show.
- 48:34Speaker 9: It was really good, but it's kind of niche.
- 48:37Speaker 2: You know what you brought up? Get Out. That's funny.
- 48:38Speaker 2: I have something where they talked about the, the top
- 48:41Speaker 2: scary movies to watch that aren't scary.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:44Speaker 9: That was one.
- 48:45Speaker 2: It says, no, it says horror movies for people who
- 48:46Speaker 2: don't like being scared.
- 48:48Speaker 9: Okay.
- 48:49Speaker 2: And get out was number four.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:50Speaker 9: It's definitely up there because there's, you have a couple
- 48:53Speaker 9: of jump scare moments, but also like the message behind
- 48:56Speaker 9: it is terrifying.
- 48:57Speaker 2: It's psychological. It's one of those movies that makes you think,
- 49:00Speaker 2: you know, what else I heard is one of those
- 49:01Speaker 2: movies that makes you think is this one that's out
- 49:02Speaker 2: right now, the documentary. On the dude, on the girl
- 49:05Speaker 2: from Thanos or Thanos or whatever it is. It's got
- 49:08Speaker 2: Norman Felder.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 49:09Speaker 2: That's the one that's. Yeah.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I heard that movie is a documentary. It's in theaters now.
- 49:14Speaker 2: It's breaking all kinds of records. I hear it's fantastic,
- 49:17Speaker 2: but it's three hours long. And I heard it just
- 49:19Speaker 2: makes you. after you see it, like it's got a
- 49:21Speaker 2: hundred percent of rotten tomatoes and I haven't seen it.
- 49:24Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm going to sit through a
- 49:25Speaker 2: three hour documentary. I'd watch it on TV. Yeah. But,
- 49:28Speaker 2: but apparently it's huge.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:30Speaker 8: I feel like I wouldn't go to the theater for that,
- 49:32Speaker 8: but I would definitely watch it on streaming.
- 49:35Speaker 2: So if you see that movie, if anyone's seen the documentary,
- 49:37Speaker 2: please call 877-937-1047. What's it called? Do you know what
- 49:40Speaker 2: it's called? It's called like behind the scenes or things
- 49:45Speaker 2: I've seen. You won't believe the things I've seen.
- 49:50Speaker 8: Kyle is feverishly Googling. You can see everything.
- 49:53Speaker 2: You can see everything, yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 8: Yeah, runtime two hours and 54 minutes.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Yikes.
- 49:57Speaker 9: Whoa, for a documentary?
- 49:59Speaker 2: But it's blowing up, man. I'm telling you, it's huge.
- 50:01Speaker 8: You know when we laugh, but then we probably sit
- 50:03Speaker 8: and watch like five hours of TV at once.
- 50:06Speaker 9: Literally. That's what binging is nowadays.
- 50:08Speaker 2: So let me finish real quick. These are the top
- 50:10Speaker 2: movies for people who don't like being scared, but they're
- 50:13Speaker 2: horror movies. Tremors is up there. That's good. The Sixth Sense, Signs.
- 50:18Speaker 2: shauna the dead rosemary's baby the rocky or picture show
- 50:22Speaker 2: the others is number 10 that's.
- 50:24Speaker 7: A that's kind of scary and so is i think
- 50:27Speaker 7: six cents is kind of scary too six.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Cents on there uh the menu that's good oh yeah
- 50:32Speaker 2: that's good jennifer's body.
- 50:34Speaker 9: Oh that's so good megan fox she killed.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Get out is number four death becomes her is number
- 50:40Speaker 2: three oh yeah that one was good crimson peak is
- 50:42Speaker 2: number two And the number one movie they say, and
- 50:45Speaker 2: I've never seen it, and I don't want to see it,
- 50:47Speaker 2: is The Birds. Oh, yeah. Alfred Hitchcock.
- 50:50Speaker 9: Oh, I was thinking the bird box on Netflix from
- 50:54Speaker 9: Sandra Bullock.
- 50:55Speaker 2: No, I think that. I would have said The Bird Box. Well,
- 50:57Speaker 2: that's what I thought you were going with. I would
- 50:59Speaker 2: have said The Bird Box.
- 51:00Speaker 7: The Birds is probably like a 1950s movie, I'm guessing.
- 51:04Speaker 13: 1950s.
- 51:04Speaker 2: No, I can tell you it was 1963. Gina, good morning.
- 51:07Speaker 2: You're on the air. Good morning.
- 51:08Speaker 13: Hello. Hi. Hi.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Yes?
- 51:15Speaker 15: That's what I'm doing.
- 51:17Speaker 2: I don't know what you're doing either.
- 51:18Speaker 13: Oh, no.
- 51:18Speaker 15: I wanted to say about the picture that I had
- 51:21Speaker 15: sent on Facebook.
- 51:22Speaker 2: You sent the picture on Facebook?
- 51:23Speaker 8: Oh, is it a ghost picture?
- 51:25Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:26Speaker 15: It was the one in... So, it's not my picture,
- 51:30Speaker 15: but it's my sister's. It's really creepy. So, basically, she
- 51:36Speaker 15: had moved to Hawaii many years ago.
- 51:38Speaker 9: I think around 2011.
- 51:39Speaker 16: Yeah, 2011.
- 51:41Speaker 15: 2011. And she was out at the beach with her
- 51:48Speaker 15: boyfriend at the time. And he's like, go into the
- 51:50Speaker 15: water and I'll take a picture of you. So she
- 51:52Speaker 15: went in. I don't remember if he showed it to
- 51:57Speaker 15: her when she got out of the water or until
- 51:59Speaker 15: they got home. But she ended up giving us a
- 52:01Speaker 15: call and was like, because I took a really, my
- 52:05Speaker 15: boyfriend took a picture. We're like, oh, okay. And we're like, oh,
- 52:09Speaker 15: who was with you at the beach? He's like, there
- 52:11Speaker 15: was no one with me at the beach. So when
- 52:14Speaker 15: she showed us the picture, it's her in the water,
- 52:16Speaker 15: but there's something next to her.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Oh, I'm looking at it right now. I'm looking at
- 52:21Speaker 2: it right now. There's something next to her. But it
- 52:24Speaker 2: looks like from what I'm looking at, it could be
- 52:26Speaker 2: like her foot, kicking her foot out or something.
- 52:28Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 52:30Speaker 15: For us, it kind of looked like a figure because
- 52:33Speaker 15: it was weird because she was.
- 52:36Speaker 9: Kneeling or, you know, like on her knees in.
- 52:39Speaker 15: The water and But for us, it looked like a figure.
- 52:43Speaker 15: But the thing is, for us, we kind of freaked
- 52:46Speaker 15: out a little bit because it kind of looks like
- 52:49Speaker 15: the exact outling of our grandma.
- 52:53Speaker 9: Oh, wow.
- 52:54Speaker 15: Yeah, because our grandma had passed away in 2011. And
- 52:57Speaker 15: you all saw that.
- 52:59Speaker 7: Like, that looks like grandma. Like, you all agree?
- 53:01Speaker 2: Your family agrees?
- 53:02Speaker 15: Yeah, we all agreed. Like, there was something with you
- 53:05Speaker 15: in the water. Like, who was with you in the water?
- 53:07Speaker 15: She's like, there was no one with me in the water.
- 53:08Speaker 15: And even the boyfriend was like, hey, I need to
- 53:11Speaker 15: show you the picture I took.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Oh, hell.
- 53:12Speaker 15: I don't want you to freak out.
- 53:14Speaker 2: When you zoom in, now I see. Because from far away,
- 53:17Speaker 2: it's like, oh, she's swimming and she's kicking her back foot.
- 53:19Speaker 2: But when you zoom in, there is a person next
- 53:22Speaker 2: to her in the water.
- 53:24Speaker 15: Like underwater?
- 53:25Speaker 3: No.
- 53:26Speaker 8: There's like literally.
- 53:27Speaker 9: Okay.
- 53:27Speaker 8: So let me zoom in for you.
- 53:30Speaker 15: It's a really old picture.
- 53:33Speaker 8: It looks like a picture of the beach. And if
- 53:35Speaker 8: you're really not paying attention, you probably don't see either people.
- 53:37Speaker 8: And then you see one person kind of like chest
- 53:40Speaker 8: up and then another person chest up right next to him.
- 53:44Speaker 2: If I zoom in, there it is.
- 53:45Speaker 13: Oh, yeah, I totally see it.
- 53:46Speaker 2: If you look at the water.
- 53:47Speaker 15: In the reflection, you can see that the figure has
- 53:50Speaker 15: a reflection in the water.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Is she the person on the right or the person
- 53:53Speaker 2: on the left? Who's the ghost?
- 53:54Speaker 15: No, she's the one on the left.
- 53:55Speaker 2: And she's looking at your sister.
- 53:58Speaker 15: The person, the thing that we saw or that was
- 54:01Speaker 15: next to her is on the right.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Looking at her.
- 54:04Speaker 8: The thing on the right almost looks more.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Like that person.
- 54:08Speaker 7: Oh, okay.
- 54:09Speaker 2: So here's the thing. A lot of people were messaging saying,
- 54:11Speaker 2: I can't find your ghost pictures. I don't know if
- 54:14Speaker 2: we're going to put together a special gallery of these pictures.
- 54:16Speaker 4: We should.
- 54:16Speaker 2: But on Facebook, if you go to John G. Rich
- 54:19Speaker 2: on Facebook and scroll down, we say send us your
- 54:21Speaker 2: ghost pictures. There, everyone has sent the ghost pictures. That's
- 54:23Speaker 2: where you can see it. Gina, thanks for calling in.
- 54:25Speaker 15: I appreciate it. Thanks, guys.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Thanks. Oh, Rachel, you saw that documentary. What's it called?
- 54:31Speaker 8: You Can See Everything.
- 54:33Speaker 10: You Can See Everything.
- 54:34Speaker 2: And how is it?
- 54:37Speaker 20: Well, I have a different perspective for it because I
- 54:39Speaker 20: actually used to work at Theranos. And I saw the
- 54:42Speaker 20: day it came out.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:43Speaker 20: So, and I met Elizabeth one time when she came
- 54:47Speaker 20: to Arizona to visit the site, and she's a very
- 54:52Speaker 20: interesting person, and I feel like the documentary captures her
- 54:55Speaker 20: pretty well. It was just so mind-boggling, because, yeah, it is.
- 55:02Speaker 20: It was three hours long, and I was not.
- 55:03Speaker 10: Expecting that, but.
- 55:06Speaker 20: Okay, but is it good?
- 55:07Speaker 10: Yeah, it was very good.
- 55:07Speaker 20: I definitely recommend.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Is it good because you used to work there and
- 55:10Speaker 2: you know behind the scenes? Or is it good if
- 55:11Speaker 2: we don't know anything? I mean, what's her name? What's
- 55:13Speaker 2: the company? Thanos? Theranos.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Theranos.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Theranos, okay.
- 55:17Speaker 20: Yeah, it's good even if you didn't work there.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Okay. She's a very intriguing person. I heard her husband's creepy.
- 55:26Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 55:27Speaker 9: Remind me what she went to jail for.
- 55:30Speaker 2: She created this.
- 55:32Speaker 7: Blood test that said just need a little prick of
- 55:34Speaker 7: your blood and they can tell all these things. But
- 55:37Speaker 7: that wasn't true at all. But she had all these
- 55:39Speaker 7: investors investing millions and millions and millions of dollars into it.
- 55:43Speaker 7: And the way she got busted was some equipment that
- 55:45Speaker 7: she ordered did not match or do what it said
- 55:48Speaker 7: it was going to do.
- 55:49Speaker 2: Is that what it is, Rachel?
- 55:53Speaker 5: Sort of.
- 55:54Speaker 20: You kind of learn more in the documentary about it.
- 55:57Speaker 2: What did you do for the company?
- 55:58Speaker 18: I actually worked in the lab.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Oh, so you're part of the fraud.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:06Speaker 20: Actually, the Arizona lab was under, like, fine. Like, all
- 56:13Speaker 20: the sanctions and stuff that we went through, we were fine. Like,
- 56:15Speaker 20: we had CLIA lab come in and audit us. And, yeah,
- 56:21Speaker 20: everything came out fine for us. I guess it was
- 56:23Speaker 20: more the LA lab that was not doing.
- 56:25Speaker 18: Things they were supposed to.
- 56:26Speaker 2: So what do you do now?
- 56:27Speaker 16: I work for.
- 56:32Speaker 20: I work for CVS, corporate CVS, like Medicare and Medicaid stuff.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Good.
- 56:37Speaker 20: Yeah, helping people get their medication.
- 56:39Speaker 2: That's awesome. Well, thank you for listening, Rachel.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Thank you for listening. Thanks for calling.
- 56:42Speaker 20: Yeah, thank you.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 56:45Speaker 10: You too.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Hey, Holly, good morning.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Hi.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Hi.
- 56:51Speaker 4: What's up?
- 56:51Speaker 11: I have a really cool story about Warren Buffett.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Warren Buffett? Is he top? Oh, we were talking about him,
- 56:56Speaker 2: you guys. Yeah, Warren, he drinks five Cokes a day.
- 56:59Speaker 2: The real estate mogul. What do you got?
- 57:02Speaker 11: Well, my dad used to work for Coca-Cola. He became
- 57:06Speaker 11: quite a big wig with Coca-Cola. But back in the early, like, 70s,
- 57:12Speaker 11: we lived in Nebraska. And that's where Warren Buffett lives
- 57:16Speaker 11: in the neighborhood of Regency, which is in Omaha, Nebraska.
- 57:19Speaker 11: And my dad would deliver his Coca-Cola to his house.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Personally.
- 57:24Speaker 13: And it's the.
- 57:25Speaker 11: Same house he lives in now.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Did he drop, like, off a pallet of Coke? Because
- 57:29Speaker 2: it sounds like he was rolling through those Cokes.
- 57:31Speaker 13: Yeah. Yeah.
- 57:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it would be quite a bit.
- 57:34Speaker 11: And then to go off what you guys are talking
- 57:35Speaker 11: about with the Halloween candy, our house was a cool
- 57:38Speaker 11: house because we didn't give out candy. We gave out
- 57:41Speaker 11: cans of Coke.
- 57:42Speaker 9: Oh, that's awesome.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you win. That's good.
- 57:45Speaker 9: That is a really good idea for anyone else trying
- 57:48Speaker 9: to do something other than candy and switch it up.
- 57:49Speaker 2: It's still delicious sugar.
- 57:50Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Rich used to give out autographed pictures of his headshot
- 57:54Speaker 2: to people.
- 57:54Speaker 9: No, you didn't.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 57:57Speaker 9: I was going to say that I can kind of believe,
- 58:00Speaker 9: but not.
- 58:02Speaker 9: Kind of believe maybe you would do something like that
- 58:05Speaker 9: i don't know.
- 58:05Speaker 21: I would not i don't know you like to keep
- 58:09Speaker 21: us on our toes i.
- 58:09Speaker 7: Don't even like to have my picture taken so let's
- 58:14Speaker 7: share them with.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Anybody well that's what i'm gonna give out this year
- 58:16Speaker 2: did your dad continue to talk to warren buffett when
- 58:18Speaker 2: he moved here well he's got.
- 58:20Speaker 11: A great picture with him but then it was coca-cola
- 58:23Speaker 11: that brought him here and he was actually head of
- 58:25Speaker 11: the one here in phoenix and other territories he had
- 58:28Speaker 11: many states that he was In charge of, but yeah,
- 58:30Speaker 11: he had a picture with him and yeah, he knew
- 58:33Speaker 11: exactly where he lived and he still lives there today.
- 58:36Speaker 11: He's such a frugal man.
- 58:37Speaker 2: I've heard that. He lives in a tiny house they
- 58:39Speaker 2: bought 80 years ago. By the way, you want to
- 58:41Speaker 2: know a fun fact about Warren Buffett? He owns Peoria Ford.
- 58:45Speaker 2: He's Pat Hickey's partner. He also owns Geico.
- 58:47Speaker 13: Oh.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Isn't that wild? Geico insurance?
- 58:51Speaker 9: I have no idea.
- 58:52Speaker 2: I have Geico. It's more about Nebraska.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 8: I think he owns a lot of things, right?
- 58:57Speaker 2: He does, but like those are the things that you
- 58:59Speaker 2: know that are kind of in your world.
- 59:01Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 59:01Speaker 2: How many times have you seen a Geico commercial and
- 59:03Speaker 2: you're like, oh yeah, Warren Buffett owns that. How many
- 59:04Speaker 2: times have you heard us talk about Peoria Ford? Oh yeah,
- 59:06Speaker 2: that's Pat Hickey's partner. I find that so interesting. Well, Holly,
- 59:09Speaker 2: thank you for listening and thanks for calling in.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 59:12Speaker 11: Have a great day, you guys.
- 59:13Speaker 2: You too.
- 59:14Speaker 13: Bye-bye. 877-937-1047.
- 59:14Speaker 14: Why don't you describe your job in as.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Few words is possible, but make it sound scary. For example,
- 59:35Speaker 2: for what I do, I would describe my job this way.
- 59:38Speaker 2: You can hear me, but you can't see me.
- 59:45Speaker 9: That is kind of creepy when you really think about it.
- 59:48Speaker 8: Right, with the laugh.
- 59:49Speaker 9: Right, we're just the voices in your head.
- 59:50Speaker 2: What if I'm streaming it live on YouTube? I can
- 59:52Speaker 2: see you. I'm going to turn off the cameras. Oh, okay.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Would you like to try it, Rich?
- 59:57Speaker 9: Yes, I would.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Describe your job.
- 59:58Speaker 7: This is not my current job. This is my former job.
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: I clean up bloody discarded carcasses.
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: I feel like we have to add the scary laugh.
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: It really helps. Are we still going?
- 1:00:16Speaker 13: Sorry.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Describe your job in as few words as possible. Make
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: it scary or mysterious. For example, I brought... I brought
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: a couple. I teased a little bit and said, leave
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: us a talk back. So here's like a talk back
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: of somebody doing it.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Nobody likes us.
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: Everybody's terrified.
- 1:00:34Speaker 13: And we make you scream. I'm a dental assistant.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Get it. Get it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: Okay. I'm allowed to go into my work freely. But
- 1:00:49Speaker 13: once I get inside, it's very hard for me to
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: get out.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Also, I'm surrounded by people who carry weapons, and they
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: use them on each other, and I have very little myself.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: A prisoner. I work in a prison. Yes, a prison.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: 877-937-1047.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: You got one, Kyle?
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: I do.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: People paid me to lie inside glowing chambers that slowly
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: cooked their skins.
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: I worked at a tanning salon.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: You guys didn't guess my former job. I said I
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: cleaned up bloody discarded carcasses.
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: Were you, like, worked at a butcher place?
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: Meat shop.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: I was a maintenance guy at a grocery store, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: I cleaned up the butcher shop when.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: They were done.
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: High five.
- 1:01:37Speaker 9: Okay, I have one.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Hold on a second. John Jane Rich, good morning.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm calling to describe my job.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you got?
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: So, basically, I draw all of your insides.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: Ooh, are you a phlebotomist?
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: No. I draw all of your insides. X-ray tech.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Nope.
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: Draw all of your insides.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Are you a radiologist? Oh, you're the same thing as
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: it was.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: No.
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: The illustrator for science books.
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: Good guess.
- 1:02:13Speaker 13: No, that was closer.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: Oh, what is it?
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: I do all the computer-assisted design drawings for an interior designer.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I was going to say, that was my third one.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: That was my third one. He didn't laugh after his, though.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: He was serious. You want to go to Wicked Ball?
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: You got a pair of tickets to Wicked Ball? You
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: want to go? Want to go? Sure. What's your name?
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you do.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: It's Kent. Hold on, Kent. Hold on, Kent. Irene. Go ahead.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Describe your job.
- 1:02:51Speaker 15: People come to me to voluntarily get poisoned.
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: You're an injector.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: You push the vaccine.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: I was thinking of a Botox person. So what poison?
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: Okay, wait. People go to you to get poisoned.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Temporarily. Bartender.
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: Maybe you're like an allergy tester. Oh, bartender.
- 1:03:14Speaker 13: Oh!
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: I'm a bar tender.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: That's good. That's good. Irene, you want tickets? Wicked Ball?
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Wicked Ball tickets for you?
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: I would love it, yeah.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 1:03:25Speaker 13: Hold on.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Kaisai. Is that how you say your name? Kaisai? Kaisasi?
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: Kisasi.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Kisasi, my bad. Sorry, man. So what's your job?
- 1:03:37Speaker 13: Oh, I can do it.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: A shadow moving across your roof, armed with steel, tearing
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: away everything between you and the sky.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: He's a roofer. Yeah. Yeah. But the way you did
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: that was awesome.
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: Are you at John Jay's house right now?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Oh, that's good, dude. That's good.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Appreciate you guys.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: You got it, man. Thanks for calling in. Okay, Peyton,
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: what's yours?
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: Okay. I would drive around late at night with coolers
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: full of body parts and blood. And whether someone lived
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: or died depended on how fast I drove. Yeah, I
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: used to transport, like, organs from, like, point A to
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: point B.
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: I mean, that's a scary job in and of itself.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: You don't have to say it's scary. It's just scary.
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: No, it was. The beating heart in the back of
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: the SUV at one point was traumatizing, actually.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Holly, good morning. Describe your job in as little words
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: as possible. It would be kind of scary and mysterious.
- 1:04:37Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:04:38Speaker 15: I bring up all your worst nightmares and make you
- 1:04:41Speaker 15: pay for it.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Oh, you're my wife?
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: You're a therapist.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: IRS agent.
- 1:04:46Speaker 13: No.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Nope.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Bring up all your worst nightmares and make you pay
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: for it.
- 1:04:52Speaker 9: I'm lying.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Oh, you said IRS.
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: Are you an instructor at a gym?
- 1:04:58Speaker 13: No.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Okay, what are you? Are you a nun?
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: I'm a civil litigation paralegal.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Oh, that's a tough one.
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:05:09Speaker 13: Wow.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Billy, go ahead, Billy. Describe your job in as little
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: words as possible, but make it sound mysterious and scary.
- 1:05:17Speaker 15: I drive around.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: And they pick up little children.
- 1:05:21Speaker 13: That's terrible.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: That's so scary. I'm hoping you're a bus driver. Are
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: you a school bus driver? Nope, I'm a killer.
- 1:05:31Speaker 15: Close transportation for special needs children.
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: You're always doing what you do.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: That might be the best one. You made that sound scary.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: You want tickets to Wicked Ball, Billy?
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: You want to go?
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: It's next week.
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: I do, I do, I do.
- 1:05:45Speaker 13: I want tickets.
- 1:05:46Speaker 12: I want them, I want them.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Okay, good. Hold on, hold on. Let's see. Siobhan, good morning.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 1:05:52Speaker 21: Hi.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Describe your job in as few words as possible, but
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: make it sound scary and mysterious.
- 1:06:03Speaker 11: I'll always come get you, but it'll be stranger danger.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Uber driver.
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Oh, that's good.
- 1:06:10Speaker 11: Good laugh.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: That's good. That's good, Siobhan. By the way, if you
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: don't win right now, we are having a Talk Back
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: for Tickets winning weekend for Wicked Ball. So all weekend,
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: we got your tickets to see Wicked Ball. It's next Friday, right?
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: One week from today.
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: You're going to hang.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Out with Kyle and Rich. They're going to be there.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: They got $ 15, 000 in cash up for prizes. It's going
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: to be great. So we're doing a Talk Back for
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Tickets all weekend long. So when you listen, you got

- 1:06:40Speaker 7: And I promise you this. It is the best people
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: watching of the entire year.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Am I right, Kyle? Yeah. Lori, do you have a
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: job description?
- 1:06:50Speaker 13: I do.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: I pull dead things out of the ground.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Oh, she's got to be a gardener.
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what I was thinking, a gardener.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Landscaping, yes.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: That's good. That's good, Lori.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: This is fun.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: This is way more fun than I thought it would be. Yeah,
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: who knew? This is a hoot. It's not a hoot.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: It's a hoot. It's New Music Friday. We're going to
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: also cover everything that dropped here in a second. And Kyle,
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: what's coming up in entertainment news?
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: Harry Styles was caught on camera absolutely losing it. We'll
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: fill you in next with John Jay and Rich. Missed
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: a part of the show this morning?
- 1:07:25Speaker 15: No worries.
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: It's all there on iHeartRadio.
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: So a lot of new music today. Yesterday we talked
- 1:07:30Speaker 9: about Dove Cameron and how she is going to be
- 1:07:32Speaker 9: dropping her debut album, Final Girl, on November 6th. But
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: today we got a single. This one is called Do
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: the Math. I love it. I think this song is
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: a vibe. It makes me so excited for her album
- 1:07:57Speaker 9: that's going to be coming out in the next couple weeks.
- 1:07:59Speaker 9: And I feel like we've only gotten a little bit
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: of a taste of Dove Cameron's music, and I feel
- 1:08:02Speaker 9: like I'm super excited to hear some more. Okay, Lisa
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: from Blackpink, she dropped her debut EP. It's going to
- 1:08:09Speaker 9: be her first solo EP. It's called Press Play, but
- 1:08:12Speaker 9: this song is called Tarantino.
- 1:08:13Speaker 16: I'm a boss, I'm a don when I'm driving to
- 1:08:17Speaker 16: the sun.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: It's the movie, baby, call me.
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: Press Play, press play. It's a vibe.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Do you get what this is about?
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: I mean, I'm assuming Tarantino, like the.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: The director who has a foot fetish.
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: Oh, does he have a foot fetish?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Yeah, she talks about the feet hanging out the Camino.
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: All his movies.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Have got feet in it. I didn't realize that. The
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Margot Robbie movie scene from the Hollywood one, the feet
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: hanging out of the Camino is in... Well, anyway, every
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: movie he has is about that.
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: That's awesome. I mean, I had I had no idea
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: that was the case. OK, Dominic Fike, he is like
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: on fire right now. He is going to be dropping
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: his album called How to Quit Smoking on October 30th.
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: literally a week from today.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: It's a long title.
- 1:09:03Speaker 9: How to Quit Smoking. Maybe that album will help you
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: do that. Who knows? But this song is called Pangea.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: I mean, it is giving Dominic Fike and he is literally,
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: like I said, on fire right now.
- 1:09:17Speaker 14: So loving all the new music from him.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: So the new season three of Nobody Wants This came
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: out on Netflix yesterday, and they dropped the album, the
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: soundtrack album, and we got new music from Mimi Webb.
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: This song's called Obsession. I like, I feel like I
- 1:10:04Speaker 9: see like a passionate kissing moment. I haven't binged this.
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: I'm trying to, I'm on episode six right now and
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: I'm trying to think if I remember.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Is it good? Is it good?
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: It does not disappoint. That's for sure. There is like
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: a moment where the Miley Cyrus song plays and it's
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: like a big, huge moment.
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: And that one's called cold blooded.
- 1:10:24Speaker 14: Kyle, did it take.
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: You out of the moment because it was Miley Cyrus?
- 1:10:38Speaker 13: No.
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 1:10:40Speaker 8: It's such a good season. Like, I feel like Nobody
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: Wants Us has been great all three seasons so far.
- 1:10:46Speaker 8: So I'm excited to, like, when we leave here, I
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: will be finishing the rest of this season.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Hurry up, guys. Finish the show.
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: We're never going to leave here. I never want to
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: leave here. Harry Styles is usually pretty chill, but there
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: was one fan that pushed him over the edge. And
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: there's video of it that TMZ posted. Unfortunately, the video
- 1:11:04Speaker 8: is so far away that we don't know exactly what
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: Harry Styles was yelling at this guy. But this guy
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: was following him. He was carrying like a vinyl record
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: that apparently, I mean, I'm guessing he wanted Harry to sign.
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: but then started like yelling at Harry and taunting him.
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: And Harry just lost on him, was like pointing his
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: finger and like, you know, angrily speaking in some way.
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: And it's crazy. Like when they finish, when they walk away,
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: the guy still walks next to Harry Styles. It's like,
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: I feel like at that point, maybe walk the other
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: way and leave him alone.
- 1:11:33Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: And also, that irritates me because Harry Styles, I feel like,
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: is one of the only celebrities who will walk around
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: without security every now and then.
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: And he's ruining it for us.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: He was at the Knicks game signing autographs.
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: Yeah, I know.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Like, is this guy a real fan or a paparazzi
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: guy trying to sell an album?
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: It probably didn't seem like he actually was a real fan.
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: There was some unexpected advice. You would think that, you know,
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: with all that. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian went through,
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: he wouldn't have a whole lot of communication with her
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: sisters and her sisters probably wouldn't listen to him. However,
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: Kourtney Kardashian shared a piece of advice that he gave
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: her that she ended up actually following.
- 1:12:11Speaker 21: I remember Kanye told me, I feel like God is
- 1:12:15Speaker 21: calling me to tell you that you should not hook
- 1:12:18Speaker 21: up with any randoms until you are with your husband.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: And I didn't.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Okay, so only until you're with your.
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: Husband, then you can hook up with him.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: And then we know that all the PDA, they're doing
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: just fine in that department.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Speaking of Kanye, we got tickets every day next week
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: to go see Kanye.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Amazing.
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: Okay, you guys, this could be very exciting for Billie
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: Eilish fans. She was spotted out with a whole new hairdo.
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: I mean, she like chopped her hair. It's a different color.
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: It's like an auburn, almost reddish color. And fans are like,
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: new hair, new Billie Eilish music, obviously.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's probably true.
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: Not confirmed yet.
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: They have been floating around in people's, people have been
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: talking about them again. So I think they're ready.
- 1:13:00Speaker 13: Well, yeah.
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: Well, Phineas just got married, so I'm sure it's going
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: to be like a new lover. Oh, that would be good.
- 1:13:04Speaker 9: She's dating Nat Wolfe.
- 1:13:05Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: I love the songs from Billie Eilish. Oh, that would
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: be fabulous. Celebrity stylist Law Roach opened up and said, yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: it is true. Keke Palmer did fire me, but here's why.
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: And it was kind of all good.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: I couldn't get it right. I love Keke to death.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: It wasn't personal.
- 1:13:21Speaker 19: It was a business decision that she should have made.
- 1:13:23Speaker 19: I couldn't get the looks right. I couldn't get the
- 1:13:25Speaker 19: energy right. And I love what she said.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: She called me.
- 1:13:28Speaker 19: She said, you may be the best stylist in the world,
- 1:13:30Speaker 19: but you are not the best stylist for me. And
- 1:13:32Speaker 19: I said, well, all right, Kiki Palmer.
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: I am like starting to love Law Roach more and
- 1:13:38Speaker 9: more clip by clip.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: He is hilarious.
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: And he's doing so many interviews.
- 1:13:42Speaker 9: I know. He's giving us the tea. Thank you for that.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: Michelle, go ahead. You're on the air. What's up?
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Hi, good morning.
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: I just want to know when I could get, like
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: how we could do it to win Wicked Ball tickets.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: Oh, well, we're doing a, what you call a weekend?
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Winning weekend. Talk Back for tickets winning weekend. All weekend,
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: we got your tickets to see Wicked Ball. October 30th,
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: hang out with Kyle and Rich from the John Jane
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Rich Show. Heard of them. DJ Nicasio in the mix.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: $ 15, 000 in cash up for grabs for the costume contest.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Make sure you have the free iHeartRadio app downloaded and
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: you know how to use the Talk Back microphone. That's
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: how you qualify to win this weekend, Michelle.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Okay, perfect.
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: The best costumes in town have to be there.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Oh, for sure.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: I mean, it is the thing. And if you're Michelle,
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: you're going to be coming. So do not skimp on
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: the costume. Go all in because you'll have a shot.
- 1:14:40Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Michelle, we could give you a pair of tickets right now.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Would you like a pair of tickets right now?
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: No way.
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: Yes.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: That way we'll give these to you. That way you
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: can free up more for this weekend. Hold on. Talk
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: back for winning weekend. Talk back for tickets to a weekend.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: All that to go see the win a bunch of
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: money at the Halloween party next week with Kyle and Peyton. No,
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: no Peyton.
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: No Peyton.
- 1:15:03Speaker 13: Rich.
- 1:15:03Speaker 9: I'll be there in spirit.
- 1:15:04Speaker 8: It's called Wicked Ball.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: I'm on the fence of popping in there, too.
- 1:15:08Speaker 8: That'd be fun.
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: First, though, we are going to play Monster Match. We
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: got Doja Cat and Lotto tickets.
- 1:15:14Speaker 9: 877-937-1047.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: We're going to play After Teddy Swims. After Teddy Swims.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: We're going to play a monster match. Ryan, hello.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: Hi, how are you?
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Great. You are playing for Doja Cat tickets. We're going
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: to play a monster match. They did the monster match.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: They did the match. It was a radio smash. They
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: did the match.
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: They did the match.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Who did the monster match?
- 1:15:45Speaker 9: John Jay and Ritz present the monster match.
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: It's pretty easy, Ryan. I ask you questions about monsters.
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: You answer them and get them right.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: You get a point. We start with you, John Jay.
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: This monster should never be planning a romantic walk under
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: a full moon.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: What monster are we? What did you say? Werewolf. Yeah, correct. Kyle?
- 1:16:11Speaker 13: Kyle?
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: What monster would get the best deal on a bulk
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: order of gauze?
- 1:16:19Speaker 9: A mummy?
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: A mummy is correct. Very clever, Kyle. Nice job on
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: the monster match. Peyton, what monster is impossible to find
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: in Hide and Seek unless he keeps his clothes on?
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: A ghost.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry. That is incorrect. John J. Steele. Yes,
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: John J. Steele. Invisible Man. Invisible Man is correct. Two
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: points for you.
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: Ryan, what monster thinks brains are the perfect snack?
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Oh, a zombie.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: A zombie is correct. See how you played, Peyton? That's
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: how you played. All right, John Jay. I thought I
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: was playing right.
- 1:16:59Speaker 7: John Jay, what monster owes his entire life to a
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: bolt of lightning?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Frankenstein. Frankenstein is correct.
- 1:17:08Speaker 10: Kyle?
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: What monster lives under a bridge and charges you a
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: toll to cross, also is a creep on the internet?
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: Lives under a bridge. The Loch Ness Monster?
- 1:17:19Speaker 15: No.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Steel.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: A steel.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Troll.
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: Troll.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Oh, sorry. Oh, sorry. I didn't hear you in time, Ryan.
- 1:17:25Speaker 10: Nope, that's okay.
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: Peyton, what hairy giant, also called Sasquatch, supposedly roams the
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: Pacific Northwest?
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: Bigfoot.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Bigfoot is correct!
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: Yay!
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: You're so surprised when you get them right.
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: Well, because I was like, am I supposed to say
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: Sasquatch right now?
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: For the win, Ryan, in the Monster Match, what weeping
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: ghost of Latin America legend wanders near rivers searching for
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: her children?
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Who is it?
- 1:17:54Speaker 15: La Llorona?
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: La Llorona! What did you say? She said it right,
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: but she said La Llorona. Llorona. Llorona! It's like saying...
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: polo loco my.
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: Bad my bad i'm that's okay well you just won

- 1:18:34Speaker 13: Yes, thank you.

- 1:18:36Speaker 10: I am currently in Surprise, but moving to Peoria in
- 1:18:39Speaker 10: a couple weeks.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Very close. Yeah. What brought you here from Utah?
- 1:18:46Speaker 10: Um, friends, family.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: You moved just from Peoria? friends that's crazy that's crazy

- 1:18:56Speaker 2: On the line we're gonna set you up thanks for
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: listening that's cool A new listener, guys.
- 1:19:00Speaker 8: Yeah, that's great.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: We were talking about earlier this morning to describe your
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: job in as little words as possible, but make it
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: kind of scary. We got a text, okay? I want
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: you guys to guess. Okay. I thought I'd share my job.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: Here's what he says, or she. I take your children
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: to dark rooms and use technology to alter their brains.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: If I do my job right, their minds are never
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: the same. Mm-hmm. Must be one of those brain tap people,
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: you know? Yeah.
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: Nope.
- 1:19:33Speaker 13: Oh, school?
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: Close.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: Dark rooms.
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:19:36Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: Dark room.
- 1:19:37Speaker 9: Yeah. Dark room at school.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: College professor.
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:19:40Speaker 13: Oh.
- 1:19:42Speaker 9: Some of my lectures had dim light.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:44Speaker 9: Okay. That's kind of a teacher.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Kyle, what's coming up? What we need to know.
- 1:19:48Speaker 8: TSA says they've got a pretty scary warning for you.
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: I'll tell you what that is next with John Jay
- 1:19:53Speaker 8: and Rachel.
- 1:19:54Speaker 13: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: Kyle and Fogg, what do we need to know today?
- 1:19:58Speaker 8: The president just signed an executive order that could help
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: homeowners save a lot of money. So basically, if you
- 1:20:03Speaker 8: are paying that extra mortgage insurance every month, there's a
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: new plan that could automatically get rid of that payment
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: once you've paid off enough of your house. It could also...
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: make refinancing your mortgage cheaper by cutting out some of
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: those extra fees, which would be a pretty big deal
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: considering how expensive it is to own a home right now. Now,
- 1:20:22Speaker 8: if you are flying somewhere for Halloween and planning on
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: wearing a costume, TSA says we have a really spooky
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: warning for you about Halloween costumes. If you have a
- 1:20:32Speaker 8: mask or you're wearing heavy face paint, you're going to
- 1:20:35Speaker 8: have to take it off to show your ID to
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: get into the terminal. Like you can't, you know, disguise
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: yourself and expect to get in with your ID. They
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: also say, listen, fake weapons, swords, toy guns. fake grenades
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: are never okay. You're going to have to go in
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: your checked luggage.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: Who gets on a plane in a costume? I don't know.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: The party starts once you land.
- 1:20:58Speaker 9: Well, maybe like kids who want to go dressed up. Kids?
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: It's not something that I'm talking about. I mean, for
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: some reason, I feel like those are targeted towards adults.
- 1:21:06Speaker 7: It is, but you got to remember, people are dumb
- 1:21:09Speaker 7: when they fly now. People are idiots, so they got
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: to let it Got to put it all out there.
- 1:21:13Speaker 7: I mean, I'm sure they're doing it because it's happened before.
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: You've got to be like, hey, you need to take
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: off your vampire makeup.
- 1:21:17Speaker 8: I mean, they're doing it enough to where they feel
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: the need to put it out there. Like, hey, just
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: a reminder, don't put your costume on and try to.
- 1:21:25Speaker 9: Get through security.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Can you imagine getting on your Southwest plane and there's
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: somebody in like an 11D wearing a freaking mask and
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: they're sitting there in their seat? You'd be like, I'm
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: not sitting there.
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: It's really creepy. The World Series kicks off tonight. No
- 1:21:38Speaker 8: matter who wins, we are guaranteed to see something pretty special,
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: something we've never seen before. The Milwaukee Brewers are taking
- 1:21:44Speaker 8: on the Tampa Bay Rays, and neither team has ever
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: won a World Series championship. So it is about to
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: be history made. Game one starts at 5 o'clock our time.
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: If you are driving around the Valley this weekend, you
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: want to check your route before leaving. ADOT says they've
- 1:21:59Speaker 8: got several major freeway closures, paving, widening, and bridge work.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: That's the culprit, which means detours and delays if you
- 1:22:08Speaker 8: don't plan wisely.
- 1:22:09Speaker 7: Why is everything under construction at the same time? Why
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: don't you guys finish a road and then go on.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: To the other one?
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: I wonder that all the time.
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: There's no way for me to escape my neighborhood now.
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: I've got to jump.
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: Curbs just to get out. Just finish the 202 before
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: we work on the 101, and then we'll get to
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: the 10. Like, I mean, come on.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: Now, everybody keeps talking about, like, AI replacing people's jobs.
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: But here in Arizona, it is actually creating demand for
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: people who work with their hands. There are massive AI
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: data centers that keep popping up all across the state,
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: and they are in need of construction companies with skilled electricians, technicians,
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: and other workers to build the actual facilities. So while
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: the people are worried about the robots taking over, we
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: still need humans. We need humans to build the things
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: to help the robots take over. And that's what you
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: need to know.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Halloween is just a week away, so you're kind of
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: running out of time if you need a costume. So
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: if you're hitting up Spirit Halloween Store this weekend, Here
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: are four things to keep in mind according to someone
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: who works there. Okay, so Spirit. Think about the Spirit
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Halloween stores. They say browse the entire store. You can
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: find hidden gems everywhere. The checkout line in particular has
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: lots of fun accessories and novelty items. Oh, that's good.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: Good tip. Don't go straight to the cheap stuff. If
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: you only plan to wear a costume once, it's fine
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: to cheap it out. But investing a little more in
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: the higher quality items can make it something you'll re-wear
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: in the future. Now, if you're buying makeup and prosthetic kits...
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: This is important. Okay, if you're buying makeup and prosthetic kits,
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: make sure you buy the removal products too.
- 1:23:40Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Most Halloween store makeup isn't top quality and it can
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: be hard to remove at the end of the night
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: with just soap and water.
- 1:23:45Speaker 9: Yeah, it'll stain your face.
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: Plus, if you're like getting a mustache, don't rely on
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: the adhesive that's already on the mustache. Like buy the
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: extra adhesive.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: No, those always fall off.
- 1:23:53Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: Don't forget. That the Spirit Halloween store stay open after Halloween.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: And there are usually clearance sales November 1st and 2nd.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: So you can get a head start for next year.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: And then you won't know where you hid the costume.
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: I also saw this new trend that like people are
- 1:24:08Speaker 8: costume swapping. Just because everything's so expensive. So it's like, Peyton,
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: I'd be like, what costumes do you have from the
- 1:24:14Speaker 8: past few years? And you would name them off. I'm like,
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: I've got tons of them. You know what I mean?
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: So it's like you and your friends get together and
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: you bring all your costumes and you swap.
- 1:24:23Speaker 9: Actually, that's a good idea because actually my best friend,
- 1:24:25Speaker 9: she left her angel wings in my car last year
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: from last Halloween.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Oh, she died?
- 1:24:29Speaker 9: So maybe, no. She was a Victoria's Secret angel. So
- 1:24:32Speaker 9: maybe I'll just be an angel and we can friend swap.
- 1:24:35Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: Genius.
- 1:24:36Speaker 13: Genius.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: So next week we will unveil our show's costume, right?
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Every year we do a different thing.
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: Correct.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: So I got mine yesterday in the mail. And my
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: wife was eating dinner with my son. I went in
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: the bathroom and I put it on. And then I
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: walked out. I just kind of stood there in the
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: dark waiting for them to acknowledge me. And they did
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: and they laughed. And then they go, my wife says, oh,
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: it doesn't fit. And I walked away and took it
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: all off. And I was like. Does she mean it
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: doesn't fit like it's too tight? Or does she mean
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: it doesn't feel like it's too big?
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: Did you think it fit? Like you felt like it
- 1:25:09Speaker 8: fit fine and then she made that comment, you questioned it?
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: And all I can think about is every year we
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: do a video of all of us in our costume
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: running down the street. And I'm like, how's that going
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: to look running down the street? And I'm like, so
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: now I just had this little, like, all I had
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: to do really was just ask her, but I didn't
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: feel like talking. So I didn't. No, it's just in
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: your head.
- 1:25:27Speaker 8: No, you don't know.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: It's like 7.30 at night. I don't want to have
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: a conversation. I put on my costume and I'm going
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: to sleep. It was like, what were those pajamas you
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: wear at night? Underoos. Underoos, yeah. Underoos that were costumes.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: That was a big underooer. Oh, I'm like, what's these? No, no,
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: they used to be a brand of underwear and it
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: was a costume.
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: They were really cool.
- 1:25:45Speaker 13: Oh.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: They were like, you'd be Spider-Man. It was your pajamas.
- 1:25:47Speaker 13: Oh.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: But it was like underwear though, right? Yeah.
- 1:25:50Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: Anyway. Like spandex.
