- 1:31Speaker 1: He had to go get that large bag down in
- 1:35Speaker 1: the Orlando. How was your weekend, my love? The weekend
- 1:38Speaker 1: was really good. Long obviously, Labor Day weekend to day weekend.
- 1:43Speaker 1: We survived. Yeah, Get Brunch was crazy Saturday. It's been
- 1:47Speaker 1: a long weekend, you see. I gotta come through there.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I was watching you on social media, young Sue Solo,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and I noticed that you did mislow jam sat and
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm like, I might say, baby, y'all did that? You'd
- 2:00Speaker 1: can we talk your little Puerto Rico for you Puerto
- 2:02Speaker 1: rican Like, okay, great, But she was singing, you know,
- 2:09Speaker 1: at the top of her lungs along with your crew.
- 2:11Speaker 1: She looked like it was problem. I would love for
- 2:13Speaker 1: you to come and get bunched. Like. We definitely do
- 2:16Speaker 1: a blend of things. We play a lot of things. Okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: we're gonna do a special Baller Alert radio edition of
- 2:21Speaker 1: Get Brunch coming soon, and stay too. Now it's time
- 2:25Speaker 1: for in case you missed it, Just in case, Just
- 2:31Speaker 1: in case you miss it. First and foremost, I get
- 2:34Speaker 1: slightly emotional thinking about no more power for a little while.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So let's have a moment in silence for power. Please
- 2:44Speaker 1: rest in power, please this moment of science. Please. I'm
- 2:47Speaker 1: the Parson care She doesn't want to hear this because
- 2:50Speaker 1: she hasn't seen it yet, but Power has come to
- 2:54Speaker 1: an annoying rap. I am emotionally unbalanced. I think that
- 3:00Speaker 1: there needs to be more episodes one and two to
- 3:05Speaker 1: kill Ray Ray Baby, to read the Ray for killing
- 3:09Speaker 1: his sister. He's in the game. Where to start with
- 3:14Speaker 1: this situation? I feel so bad, Like Terrek just got
- 3:17Speaker 1: drug into the ghost culture. Yeah, like that kid wasn't
- 3:22Speaker 1: about that life. It just but he shot his system
- 3:25Speaker 1: in front of him. You have to know reparations. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I just I just didn't expect for Terrek to be
- 3:31Speaker 1: the one to try to handle that. I didn't even
- 3:33Speaker 1: like I mean for me, I mean having a young son.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to create this to real
- 3:37Speaker 1: life because we all know it's not real life. This
- 3:40Speaker 1: is not real life. Power is not real life. I
- 3:41Speaker 1: don't want nobody going out there trying to kill the lawyer.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I've been seeing stuff on the end of that. They're
- 3:45Speaker 1: trying to kill the Lloyd. The Lloyd real life. Yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 1: I mean not literally, but they're gonna wo his ask.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But anyway, I just can't I can't fathom. You know
- 3:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying, you know, well, to do life. He's
- 3:55Speaker 1: trying to do, trying to think, and your son gets
- 3:58Speaker 1: caught up in the game. I mean that's what happens, right, Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you set the trail and they follow crazy. And then
- 4:06Speaker 1: speaking of Tasha, the next thing to do? What to
- 4:09Speaker 1: do with the lawyer? The lawyer? Dude? What is that
- 4:11Speaker 1: with the lawyer? I don't like the way he looks.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He looked like his face thinking not in real life.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm just saying like stink, like messing, nasty, shitty breath.
- 4:20Speaker 1: You just causing problems to everybody involved. Your mother. I
- 4:24Speaker 1: think Tasha is looking at the situation like, oh my god,
- 4:27Speaker 1: this is a good, clean guy. He's clean. You know,
- 4:33Speaker 1: you'all got to stop saying balance rightfully sobbly she's at them,
- 4:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to say. So she needs a square, Oh,
- 4:47Speaker 1: let me tell you. Sometimes and you need someone that
- 4:52Speaker 1: is regular offset. You're saying, so I think she's not
- 4:59Speaker 1: the but that's not for me. Don't come fight for me, girl,
- 5:04Speaker 1: But so you you think so you think like I
- 5:07Speaker 1: just it was annoying how quickly they got into a relationship.
- 5:11Speaker 1: It was really uncomfortable for me because I'm like, holding,
- 5:13Speaker 1: First of all, you're pregnant in real life and your
- 5:14Speaker 1: actress I get it. How do I equate real life
- 5:17Speaker 1: and fake life? Okay, well, anyway, you just got out
- 5:20Speaker 1: the situation you know what I'm saying, that you were
- 5:23Speaker 1: in prior to that, and you're jumping right in with
- 5:25Speaker 1: the lawyer that's defending your husband on trial for a
- 5:27Speaker 1: capital murder that can send him away for the rest
- 5:29Speaker 1: of his life. And then we all saw what happened
- 5:32Speaker 1: in the episode. Telling what happens in the episode, if
- 5:33Speaker 1: in case you missed it, Lord have mercy, where do
- 5:36Speaker 1: we start? I hand the bars is holding her. She
- 5:39Speaker 1: didn't say, okay, well listen, didn't give him a check.
- 5:45Speaker 1: A lot of stuff happened, Okay, So what happened at
- 5:47Speaker 1: that point was Tasha and the Jude met for met
- 5:53Speaker 1: for dinner or drinks or whatever, and she tried to
- 5:57Speaker 1: give him a hypothetical situation, what if I had a
- 6:00Speaker 1: friend that exactly you know? And he was like, well
- 6:04Speaker 1: if it was ghost, he like, you know, he's gonna
- 6:08Speaker 1: get sucked up, and she says it was me, I
- 6:11Speaker 1: need a lawyer, and he says to her, he gives
- 6:13Speaker 1: an ultimatum, I can either be your lover or I
- 6:16Speaker 1: can be a lawyer. And y'all know Tosha's a cold
- 6:20Speaker 1: like what she did. She offened up that pocketbook, took
- 6:24Speaker 1: out a check and was like, will you represent me?
- 6:27Speaker 1: That's right, that's right because she knows he still has
- 6:30Speaker 1: those feelings for her, so no matter what happens, she
- 6:33Speaker 1: thinks that he's going to do his best to crucial
- 6:36Speaker 1: make sure she's always such such a part of our being.
- 6:40Speaker 1: At this point, it's too short. We need more episodes.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Whoever is responsible, But you know what I knew. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: knew Dre was gonna get he gonna get his head
- 6:48Speaker 1: knocked off. But more importantly, I knew Kane and Ghosts
- 6:52Speaker 1: in time he was finding click back up. When he
- 6:55Speaker 1: didn't kill ghost Yeah, when he didn't kill because he
- 6:59Speaker 1: had him both. He can't kill them both, you know
- 7:01Speaker 1: I'm talking about he was in Cahousi with the with
- 7:03Speaker 1: the girl, with the lady whatever. But when he didn't
- 7:06Speaker 1: kill him, I knew the day was going And when
- 7:09Speaker 1: that thing ended and you saw them three in the car.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know it's going to be held to pay next
- 7:13Speaker 1: made me happy. I wonder if that made anyone else
- 7:14Speaker 1: happy made me happy? I was happy because I think
- 7:17Speaker 1: that like if you think about what has transpired, you
- 7:21Speaker 1: know what I'm saying the season three, I mean, we
- 7:22Speaker 1: went from season two into like, you know, literally can't
- 7:25Speaker 1: even wanting to kill ghosts, and there was no coming
- 7:28Speaker 1: back from it. Tommy was still kind of out of
- 7:30Speaker 1: wits as far as like what actually has happened? And
- 7:33Speaker 1: now it's kind of like, you know what, we're brothers, man,
- 7:36Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about. But I don't know
- 7:37Speaker 1: if they get drunk. But I mean now, but I'm saying,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I don't know if I could really be cool with
- 7:42Speaker 1: somebody put me in jail for ten years. But at
- 7:44Speaker 1: the same time, it was circumstantial and we don't know
- 7:46Speaker 1: their life and what they did because we only started
- 7:48Speaker 1: the season. Clearly they had four season because this is
- 7:51Speaker 1: real life. Power is real life. God damn it. So
- 7:55Speaker 1: I hand the bars. You're gonna unlock your ears now
- 7:58Speaker 1: you heard everything. Anyway, you're gonna be producing this dress.
- 8:03Speaker 1: So I have a new show alert, New show alert.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Baller Nation Ozarks is it No, not Zarks, It's Ozark
- 8:12Speaker 1: with Jason Bateman. I promise you, my friend Justin Anthony
- 8:16Speaker 1: put me onto ozark um at the top of the weekend,
- 8:20Speaker 1: almost like Thursday or Friday night. And when I tell you,
- 8:24Speaker 1: on Saturday, I binged all day, watched eight episodes. The
- 8:28Speaker 1: big shout to Netflix. The most jeous thing about Netflix
- 8:32Speaker 1: is that you can watch the whole season. You can
- 8:34Speaker 1: watch the whole season. And they just released some marijuana
- 8:37Speaker 1: strands in the names of shows really yes, getting themselves.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I Am a Smoker, Netflix, Hollish Girl, Feel Free, Arcosis
- 8:50Speaker 1: and Narcosis, Back Narcosis, back Baller Nation. You have some
- 8:55Speaker 1: real TV to watch. And speaking of literally weekend, we
- 8:58Speaker 1: we clearly survived to day weekend, clearly survived at the
- 9:02Speaker 1: world famous compound on Saturday night. It was so many people.
- 9:08Speaker 1: But the biggest moment of it all drumroll please, then
- 9:15Speaker 1: Diesel came in the club. That might not mean nothing
- 9:18Speaker 1: to you you think about you know I'm talking about
- 9:21Speaker 1: but if you think about it, not his combat boots
- 9:24Speaker 1: that he wears in the movies and actually wears in
- 9:26Speaker 1: real life because he had him on last but in
- 9:29Speaker 1: the scope of what it is. He's about to be
- 9:32Speaker 1: a billionaire for one franchise, and he took the time
- 9:36Speaker 1: to fly to Atlanta, Georgia to come to Ludacris's birthday party,
- 9:41Speaker 1: which is birthday is actually see but it was his birthday.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Slut to Day weekend a big charity of it. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: when I tell you, the club really reacted in the
- 9:49Speaker 1: way that I went, I did not expect. It's not
- 9:52Speaker 1: like you book Vin Diesel would come, because not even
- 9:54Speaker 1: he would take a booking at a club because he's
- 9:57Speaker 1: literally one of the biggest off the stars in the world.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But then Tyrade came up, and then you had you know,
- 10:05Speaker 1: you had Terence Jay, you had La La, you had
- 10:08Speaker 1: Joseph Taylor, Jadakiss, Jadakiss. Big shout to Cardi peak O
- 10:15Speaker 1: can't I can't get enough Cardiv right, I just love her.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I love her and I can't get enough of the
- 10:19Speaker 1: black love in the club to We'll talk about that show,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys. But Kevin Hard had his heartbeat
- 10:23Speaker 1: weekend in Vegas. A big shout to Kevin Hard. Definitely
- 10:27Speaker 1: a ball alert supporter. Is that always lad Weekend? And
- 10:30Speaker 1: you know it's just I think it's his third year.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Maybe I think it's his third, second or third year,
- 10:34Speaker 1: but he had usher. Um, I saw you have French
- 10:37Speaker 1: Montana Jamaine dupri So. Big shout to Kevin Harden case
- 10:40Speaker 1: you missed it that went down this weekend and Hurricane Harvey.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Young sus sol. I mean we've been seeing social obviously
- 10:48Speaker 1: Ball Alert Foundation partner with Aristocrat Life and Project a
- 10:52Speaker 1: riscrat Life down in Houston. We donated some money. Um.
- 10:56Speaker 1: We also sent Gilbert Arenas and some of the some
- 11:00Speaker 1: of our other celebrity friends UM to donate and some
- 11:05Speaker 1: sense some trucks and UM where I did my speaking
- 11:08Speaker 1: engagement this week which, by the way, smendous. So thank
- 11:11Speaker 1: you for all who participated participated in the Dream Is
- 11:14Speaker 1: Real workshop. There's always another level, um, the guys from
- 11:18Speaker 1: the the the gathering spot. Also Yes, they sent the
- 11:23Speaker 1: four wheeler I'm sorry, a teen wheeler down with a
- 11:26Speaker 1: whole bunch of products. Yes, and they also connected with
- 11:30Speaker 1: UM the Aristocrat Aristocrat Life Project. Big shot to James
- 11:34Speaker 1: Harden who donated a million dollars of his own money
- 11:38Speaker 1: and j J. White Man. Um. He started out over
- 11:42Speaker 1: a week ago now and his goal was to raise
- 11:44Speaker 1: two hundred thousand dollars. He's raised over ten million dollars
- 11:49Speaker 1: with the help of Ellen de Generous and a bunch
- 11:52Speaker 1: of other celebrities and just normal people that wanted to
- 11:55Speaker 1: help the Harvey victims down there in Houston. Um and
- 11:59Speaker 1: chat the rapper babe, like Chance to Rapper, I love
- 12:02Speaker 1: Chance to run on his education give back like no other.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Almost over two million dollars UM he raised for Chicago
- 12:13Speaker 1: Schools publishes this kid. How does chance? I mean not
- 12:16Speaker 1: old enough to be that socially, Yeah, he is amazing.
- 12:18Speaker 1: He's so advanced and mature, and I mean to call
- 12:22Speaker 1: him a humanitarian is is probably minimizing. Actually, you know
- 12:26Speaker 1: what he's capable of. This guy is amazing. He's using
- 12:28Speaker 1: his superpowers for good and he actually is starting an
- 12:32Speaker 1: education award show. Yeah, and that's amazing. So big shout
- 12:37Speaker 1: the Chance to Rapper and his endeavors. If the ball
- 12:40Speaker 1: Alert Foundation can, oh yeah, let's get this hole and
- 12:43Speaker 1: give it to get a get up, a chance to Wrapper.
- 12:44Speaker 1: You know, it was a real player Chicago, you know
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm talking about. But if we can do anything with
- 12:49Speaker 1: the ball Alert Foundation, please reach out. We would love
- 12:54Speaker 1: to support UM and yes, baby comment creeping. It's your
- 12:58Speaker 1: turns so low creepy thing right there. Okay, so this
- 13:08Speaker 1: is going to be a little different. This was common
- 13:10Speaker 1: creeping and gonna a little different. So we were going
- 13:12Speaker 1: back to compound party that compound and it was so fun.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Kenny Burns does his thing every time. If you haven't
- 13:18Speaker 1: been to a Kap party, get your ass off and
- 13:21Speaker 1: go to a Kaby party. So, I mean, there were
- 13:24Speaker 1: just so many people in there, like we said earlier,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and for me, you know, coming out of a relationship,
- 13:31Speaker 1: you single, you're back on the market. But I just
- 13:33Speaker 1: wanna put that in perspective. We're gonna follow the ready
- 13:36Speaker 1: got for being following. Okay, anyways we talk about I
- 13:44Speaker 1: was just so wrapped up in their love. Did you
- 13:47Speaker 1: see them, Tiana Taylor, Anyma Shompert were's extra affectionate and
- 13:54Speaker 1: not extra and bad. I'm just talking about they every
- 13:56Speaker 1: chance they got, they snuggled up. Yeah, that was dope.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Black certain songs came on and they were dancing together
- 14:02Speaker 1: and kissing each other, and I just I love I
- 14:06Speaker 1: love it. I was saying, I was sad, I was happy.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I was sad for myself, right, Yeah, I was happy.
- 14:13Speaker 1: For them. You know, I just want to say one thing.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know, this is an unforgiving business. We
- 14:18Speaker 1: always talk about this and this is actually setting myself
- 14:20Speaker 1: a baller mail next. Um, but it's an unforgiving business
- 14:23Speaker 1: for relationships. At times. You know, people you know think
- 14:27Speaker 1: that they can't have because the industry won't allow. I
- 14:31Speaker 1: have to know this many girls and guys to you know, um,
- 14:34Speaker 1: you know, actually have a business or be in this
- 14:37Speaker 1: business the way I want to, and it's not true.
- 14:39Speaker 1: You can have a better have for a significant other. Yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 1: it hasn't been easy, I think, especially as a woman. Um,
- 14:48Speaker 1: the guy has to be really secure in himself and
- 14:51Speaker 1: in the relationship. I mean, like you can't expect me
- 14:55Speaker 1: to be home at one o'clock. I might not leave
- 14:57Speaker 1: the house until one o'clock, you know, on most nights.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So it's it's not a it's not a easy thing.
- 15:01Speaker 1: But you know, I'll you got a candle, baby, because
- 15:06Speaker 1: you want to dive deeper. You know, we can have
- 15:07Speaker 1: a little bit of time for me showing my holtation
- 15:10Speaker 1: right now and it's just going, wait did you get
- 15:16Speaker 1: there from Easter? I thought you just made it up.
- 15:19Speaker 1: We shouldn't have a whole another category on Ballertations very real.
- 15:25Speaker 1: What I'm saying, I'm not Sometimes you just got to
- 15:27Speaker 1: be grown, You just got to be But you want
- 15:31Speaker 1: to be married or not? Yeah? Of course I want
- 15:33Speaker 1: to be married kids for real? Yeah? What are you
- 15:37Speaker 1: willing to do? I'm just curious. We're gonna say, let's
- 15:40Speaker 1: set a baller mail? Can we set a baller mail? Please?
- 15:42Speaker 1: It's a perfect segue. So you really so you do
- 15:47Speaker 1: you want to? Yeah? Okay, Now I have a question
- 15:50Speaker 1: for We had a segment and I want you to
- 15:54Speaker 1: read the entire segment to bring um, you know, bring
- 15:58Speaker 1: it to the to the front of the conversation. Can
- 16:01Speaker 1: you Can you just read in and I'm gonna ask
- 16:02Speaker 1: you a question I want you to This is something
- 16:04Speaker 1: we've posted on ball Alert. Rory the Love Doctor supposed
- 16:09Speaker 1: to be here. He supposed we miss you, but Sue
- 16:13Speaker 1: Solo got you. This was such a good one, Okay,
- 16:17Speaker 1: ball horrific relationships. Do you require your significant other to
- 16:20Speaker 1: be on the same financial level as you? And this
- 16:24Speaker 1: was blogged by peach Kiss Crucial because we notice gets
- 16:29Speaker 1: interesting relationship. Everyone seems to have their mind made up
- 16:34Speaker 1: on what type of person they want to spend the
- 16:36Speaker 1: rest of their lives with. Knowing the type of person
- 16:39Speaker 1: you want gives you the opportunity to set standards. What
- 16:43Speaker 1: you don't want to do is lower your standards for anyone.
- 16:47Speaker 1: They can either get with the program or get left behind.
- 16:51Speaker 1: One standard that should be on everyone's list is financial stability.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Many go into relationships and do not have a clear
- 16:58Speaker 1: understanding of their partner's goals. You have to ask questions.
- 17:02Speaker 1: If you don't ask about their plans, how do you
- 17:04Speaker 1: know that you are going to be a part of it?
- 17:07Speaker 1: How do you know if that's the path you want
- 17:09Speaker 1: to partake in? Don't continue to Don't continue in a
- 17:13Speaker 1: relationship and get blindsided by something you failed to do.
- 17:18Speaker 1: When relationships are on the ship, when the relationships are
- 17:25Speaker 1: on the serious level, you have to know what kind
- 17:28Speaker 1: of money your partner is making. Not in a sense
- 17:31Speaker 1: of I have to know what he is making so
- 17:33Speaker 1: he can splurs on me, but know their finances so
- 17:36Speaker 1: that you can build together. If they are not goal
- 17:40Speaker 1: oriented like you, it is time to hang it up.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Sith now, I am not saying that one sex has
- 17:46Speaker 1: to make more than the other, but you both have
- 17:48Speaker 1: to bring something to the table. If you're a significant
- 17:51Speaker 1: other is in school to better themselves and you are
- 17:55Speaker 1: the only one working, there is nothing wrong with that.
- 17:57Speaker 1: To an extent. You have to be careful with those
- 18:00Speaker 1: with those people who are major who major in permanent
- 18:04Speaker 1: student life, they have no clue what they want to do,
- 18:07Speaker 1: keep changing their majors and have been in the same
- 18:09Speaker 1: position since they were eighteen years old. You know what, Um,
- 18:13Speaker 1: that was great, great jobs to solo and resurrecting that
- 18:18Speaker 1: the Beach kids did. But you know it's crazy, and
- 18:21Speaker 1: you guys know this. Um, we just left lunch. I
- 18:25Speaker 1: never let women pay. That's just not you know, it's
- 18:27Speaker 1: just not who I am. That's how I was raised. Um.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I just I believe because I grew up in a
- 18:35Speaker 1: single parent household. UM So I believe that you're supposed
- 18:40Speaker 1: to take care of your woman. I think that men
- 18:42Speaker 1: are the providers. We clearly are, you know, in a
- 18:46Speaker 1: in a generation now where women are super independent make
- 18:50Speaker 1: as much money as men in some cases. And that's
- 18:53Speaker 1: all good that I come from the thinking of I'm
- 18:56Speaker 1: gonna take care of my woman, not that she can't work,
- 18:58Speaker 1: not that she can't do what she wants to do.
- 19:00Speaker 1: But you know, so in my mind, having been in
- 19:05Speaker 1: a relationship as long as I've been in a relationship,
- 19:08Speaker 1: it's a fact that there's things that women bring to
- 19:13Speaker 1: the table as well as men that are equal to money.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It is a fact. There's no way that in my
- 19:20Speaker 1: personal relationship, I could do what my wife does and
- 19:24Speaker 1: do what I do and be a functioning human being
- 19:29Speaker 1: like it would probably drive me, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:31Speaker 1: If you don't think about all the intangibles, right, you
- 19:34Speaker 1: think about, Okay, well they need to be having this
- 19:37Speaker 1: money because if if I'm gonna be doing this and
- 19:39Speaker 1: I need to afford this type of lifestyle, and if
- 19:41Speaker 1: I can't afford it and only but no, it's it's
- 19:44Speaker 1: almost like you have to enter the relationship knowing what
- 19:48Speaker 1: the other brings to the table, not just monetarily, but
- 19:50Speaker 1: brings to the table because you have to complete me
- 19:52Speaker 1: as my partner, right would you agree? And I think
- 19:55Speaker 1: that if if you can come into it like that money,
- 19:58Speaker 1: if you get into a relationship with money or because
- 20:01Speaker 1: of money, then that's not a way to kind of
- 20:04Speaker 1: you know, go in. Yeah, And obviously I would love
- 20:06Speaker 1: to tell people build your empire, what your mate, you know,
- 20:10Speaker 1: build your you know, build your thing together. But obviously
- 20:13Speaker 1: that's not always Poppies might meet a rich person and
- 20:16Speaker 1: you connect in this the next level. But I don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: think you should really judge someone you know on the
- 20:23Speaker 1: monetary value they bring to the relationship rather than how
- 20:27Speaker 1: can we build something together and what does that look like?
- 20:30Speaker 1: I think it just depends. Obviously everyone's situation is different.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Um something I was I was having a conversation with
- 20:37Speaker 1: my girlfriend Reese, and HI, reed, over there in the court,
- 20:42Speaker 1: your little as foot, thanks for visiting me, fran so
- 20:47Speaker 1: you know, she said something and I was like, you know,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I used to think like that. I used to think
- 20:52Speaker 1: that I would be okay dating a man who wasn't
- 20:57Speaker 1: financially stable, wasn't who was not financially stable. I used
- 21:02Speaker 1: to be like, oh no, it's good. Like I do
- 21:04Speaker 1: my own thing, you know, I'm fine. I don't really
- 21:06Speaker 1: need a guy to do stuff for me, but you know,
- 21:09Speaker 1: fulfill other areas. And I just realized that I don't
- 21:18Speaker 1: think that right now in my life. It makes sense
- 21:22Speaker 1: that some of the guys I meet have so much
- 21:25Speaker 1: potential but are not working as aggressively as they should
- 21:30Speaker 1: to be financially stable, so that that's what bothers me, Like,
- 21:33Speaker 1: I don't mind if you are working towards it, that's cool.
- 21:36Speaker 1: We can work all that together. But I think a
- 21:38Speaker 1: lot of guys that I'm running into these days are comfortable,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and that's very scary. Is it because of the men
- 21:44Speaker 1: you're surrounded by? I think, um, partially yes, And sometimes
- 21:54Speaker 1: they just are attracted to me. I don't know why
- 21:56Speaker 1: they come up to me all the time. The ones
- 21:59Speaker 1: that don't, I don't know what the hell they're doing. Well,
- 22:02Speaker 1: I can take because you can get him in the club.
- 22:05Speaker 1: It's because you know Kenny Burns and all your you know,
- 22:07Speaker 1: big brothers that are running things. And yes, you know
- 22:14Speaker 1: what it is too. I think that, Like, you know,
- 22:17Speaker 1: we were just actually talking about this and I had
- 22:19Speaker 1: had one of my seminars with Rob Hill. Seen your
- 22:22Speaker 1: big shout to Rob Hill, seen you, And the girl
- 22:24Speaker 1: asked me, you know, she literally was asking me, like,
- 22:26Speaker 1: you know, why do I attract these type of guys?
- 22:29Speaker 1: And I think it's because you allow it to happen.
- 22:33Speaker 1: And I think it's because it's so nice. It might
- 22:35Speaker 1: think it might it's you know, first of all, big
- 22:37Speaker 1: shout to all women, you guys have a motherly quality,
- 22:40Speaker 1: a take care of man quality. That is just but
- 22:44Speaker 1: it was just it's innate in you guys and we
- 22:46Speaker 1: and we don't salute that enough, so that that is why, right.
- 22:49Speaker 1: But then I think, you know, and it's all specific
- 22:53Speaker 1: to the person, specific to you know, the woman, but
- 22:57Speaker 1: you know, maybe you think sometimes you gotta put up
- 23:00Speaker 1: with a little less than you want or might deserve
- 23:03Speaker 1: to get to the point of having it all or
- 23:06Speaker 1: having you know, the thing is, you should know if
- 23:09Speaker 1: the mother got tattoos on his face and smoke weed
- 23:11Speaker 1: every day. And I'm not saying that all with tattoos
- 23:14Speaker 1: on the face again when we talked about this in
- 23:16Speaker 1: the first episode, but I just think that you it's
- 23:19Speaker 1: certain things you should be able to see, you know
- 23:22Speaker 1: what I mean that can be telltale signs on what's
- 23:24Speaker 1: to come. But we're also not having those conversations anymore.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Like people are kind of jumping into relationships pretty quickly
- 23:29Speaker 1: without having those real right off to the n d M,
- 23:32Speaker 1: without having real conversations. You know, they're jumping into it
- 23:36Speaker 1: based off of facade or or they felt how they felt,
- 23:40Speaker 1: but feeling one way and knowing it is completely different.
- 23:43Speaker 1: You actually told me what you want. You know what
- 23:46Speaker 1: that I I could blame it on the drugs on
- 23:50Speaker 1: one side, yeah, you know what I'm saying, because you know,
- 23:53Speaker 1: you have these addictive relationships that exist now, right, I
- 23:56Speaker 1: know a lot of celebrities that are in relationships and
- 23:58Speaker 1: they they they're drugs, but is with their you know
- 24:01Speaker 1: what I mean, even their friends. But then on the
- 24:03Speaker 1: other side, if you have common sense, right, if your
- 24:07Speaker 1: common sense, like there's a a three week to three
- 24:11Speaker 1: month window that I think you should give a person.
- 24:15Speaker 1: In those three weeks, you you know, you're setting the
- 24:17Speaker 1: groundwork of how you want to be treated, right, You're
- 24:20Speaker 1: going on dates. Okay. I like my door open, Okay,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I like you know what I'm saying. I like the
- 24:24Speaker 1: bed made up. I like, okay, this is mother, put
- 24:27Speaker 1: the toilet seat down. Like, it's just certain things that
- 24:29Speaker 1: you're in. It's two preferences to specifics, you know, to
- 24:33Speaker 1: the person. But I think there's things you've seen in
- 24:34Speaker 1: the first three weeks, the first month, second month, Okay, boom,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I kind of like this. You know what I'm saying.
- 24:40Speaker 1: You're probably sucking a boy. Then you know what I'm saying,
- 24:41Speaker 1: just to keep it one hunted because if you're like
- 24:43Speaker 1: the person, you know what I'm saying that you don't
- 24:45Speaker 1: have enough mental you know, saying gymnastics in your own
- 24:48Speaker 1: brains to know if you want to go to so
- 24:49Speaker 1: you go there. Okay, cool, that's cool. I like that. Okay,
- 24:51Speaker 1: we can get that sexually. I'm in there three months.
- 24:54Speaker 1: You have to be knowing if you could be with somebody.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And it's not saying that you lived with them, it's not,
- 24:59Speaker 1: but I didn't you know their family history? Are you
- 25:02Speaker 1: cool with your mom? Do you love if you don't?
- 25:03Speaker 1: If someone doesn't love their mama, it has to be
- 25:06Speaker 1: some unforeseen circumstances. That's so drastic. And you know I'm
- 25:09Speaker 1: talking about and then like how do they deal with
- 25:11Speaker 1: their siblings if they have brothers and sisters. So I
- 25:13Speaker 1: just want to put in perspective. And you know, I'm
- 25:15Speaker 1: glad we started talking about that because it opened the
- 25:17Speaker 1: door for more and and every time we have these conversations,
- 25:20Speaker 1: ball the nation loves it. But I just think that people, man,
- 25:23Speaker 1: you gotta, you know, gotta notice the signs. You know,
- 25:28Speaker 1: we gotta pay attention to the sign where we're selfish
- 25:30Speaker 1: being you know, we just want to be with whatever
- 25:32Speaker 1: situation makes us feel happy at that moment. A lot
- 25:36Speaker 1: of us don't think about longevity, which is the unfortunate part.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I mean, we should be asking these questions in the
- 25:40Speaker 1: first like you said, three weeks, and it's even asking questions,
- 25:43Speaker 1: it's paying attention, paying attention, you know, but also having
- 25:47Speaker 1: in depth converts, like detailed conversations. Don't just talk about
- 25:51Speaker 1: the club, don't talk about how good the food was, Like,
- 25:55Speaker 1: have real conversations about family and finance. What does the
- 25:59Speaker 1: normal conversation shouldn't when you meet somebody that I mean,
- 26:01Speaker 1: I want to know in the dating process and the
- 26:04Speaker 1: talking to someone and getting to know them, like so
- 26:08Speaker 1: you don't talk about life and career. I have hated
- 26:11Speaker 1: dating in the past, which is why I didn't have
- 26:14Speaker 1: a boyfriend for a decade. But coming out of that, yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 1: it was real, it was so bad. Like you've got
- 26:25Speaker 1: to I love y'all you have, I mean, yeah, you okay.
- 26:32Speaker 1: So the simple conversation that I've witnessed is how are
- 26:37Speaker 1: you from? Okay? How are you? I wish you like
- 26:40Speaker 1: to do I'll have to do that too, alright, Bet,
- 26:42Speaker 1: Like and that's it. It's like, legit, it's okay. Bet,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I don't what's okay? Bet? It's not cute, man, it's
- 26:51Speaker 1: not attractive. It's it's a horrible time. Excuse me as
- 26:55Speaker 1: a woman in this industry dating Like it's horrible. Like,
- 27:00Speaker 1: I don't know what these guys are doing. I don't
- 27:01Speaker 1: know what their goal is. I don't know if they
- 27:04Speaker 1: understand how life works. I just I don't know the
- 27:07Speaker 1: type of Like they're empty conversations empty. Does does it
- 27:13Speaker 1: matter to you if the man has money? Truthfully, um,
- 27:18Speaker 1: he doesn't have to be rich, but you also can't
- 27:24Speaker 1: be comfortable. So what if he has a plan. I'm
- 27:27Speaker 1: cool with the plan, but I have to see action
- 27:29Speaker 1: with that too, Like you can't just yeah, you can't
- 27:32Speaker 1: just be you know, on the couch for two years
- 27:35Speaker 1: working on your business. But I'm working about to kill
- 27:37Speaker 1: Pizza se to kill Pizza spot like that, right, Like
- 27:42Speaker 1: that can't happen, you know, and there needs to be
- 27:43Speaker 1: real action. Like if there's not something that I can
- 27:46Speaker 1: physically help you do to achieve that, then I feel
- 27:48Speaker 1: like you're not working on it. I should be able
- 27:51Speaker 1: to help you do something, set up event bright or
- 27:54Speaker 1: you know, take towards the venues for you, like there
- 27:57Speaker 1: there should be something that I can assist you with.
- 27:59Speaker 1: And if you don't have anything for me, then you
- 28:01Speaker 1: don't have anything going on for yourself. Yeah. And I again,
- 28:04Speaker 1: I just think that if you are dating someone for money,
- 28:08Speaker 1: you know it's gonna come out right, you know what
- 28:10Speaker 1: I'm saying. If you're if your thing is to find
- 28:12Speaker 1: someone that you know, to find someone that you want
- 28:16Speaker 1: to take care of you too, you know, and there's
- 28:18Speaker 1: something that are willing to do it, you know what
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'm saying. But I think that it only lasts so
- 28:23Speaker 1: long if you don't want to help set up a vent, right,
- 28:25Speaker 1: if you don't want to go find a venus. That's
- 28:26Speaker 1: why I really with your real life, because all that
- 28:28Speaker 1: was like trying to do events. Well I do events.
- 28:33Speaker 1: You know what the event bright is? Oh? You know, okay,
- 28:35Speaker 1: well a g owns. Yeah, I'm there, like, I'll support you.
- 28:39Speaker 1: But I think the lack of ambition. It's not so
- 28:43Speaker 1: much the money, to be honest with you, it's if
- 28:45Speaker 1: you're not ambitious enough to go towards a higher level
- 28:49Speaker 1: of where you are then you know, okay, all right,
- 28:52Speaker 1: so I want to involve you. Um, and my Confucius says, um,
- 29:00Speaker 1: but but you know what suit like I was, Um,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I was telling you and lights getting over there at lunch,
- 29:06Speaker 1: I had a like a moment with my thirteen year
- 29:10Speaker 1: old like I had like so so I don't know
- 29:12Speaker 1: if you've seen on my social I think he even
- 29:16Speaker 1: made baller babies. I don't know, but anyway, so we
- 29:18Speaker 1: my son is thirteen. He's amazing, creative, he's stylish. He
- 29:23Speaker 1: has a clothing line called Beers Lifestyle. And I was,
- 29:27Speaker 1: you know, sharing with you guys, um over lunch. You know,
- 29:31Speaker 1: my older son he got his ass what a you know,
- 29:34Speaker 1: just just your new parents, you know what I'm saying.
- 29:36Speaker 1: What's the hell you say? I'm sorry, I didn't mean
- 29:38Speaker 1: to do that. I love you. The dream is real.
- 29:41Speaker 1: And then you know, as you become a parent and
- 29:43Speaker 1: your parents, you learn certain things are better not done
- 29:47Speaker 1: or better done this way or and I, um, you know,
- 29:52Speaker 1: I just I don't be whoop them as much, you
- 29:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, so exactly like I think that, um,
- 29:59Speaker 1: they don't the younger ones, right, So he has that
- 30:02Speaker 1: fortunate state in my house. So so anyway, long story short,
- 30:04Speaker 1: I was telling you that, uh, you know, we're coming
- 30:06Speaker 1: off the red carpet the other days with the Meek Goes.
- 30:09Speaker 1: You know he's with Ao and Talo. You know, I'll
- 30:12Speaker 1: surely don't tell you. By the way, I hosted the
- 30:14Speaker 1: b m I Awards this past week and they were phenomenal.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I mean the dance routines. I'm not saying they were
- 30:19Speaker 1: phenomenal rappers. I think the phenomenal entertainers. Um, so you
- 30:23Speaker 1: don't need to be a hell of a rapper all
- 30:24Speaker 1: the time. With that, with their dope kids, um young stars,
- 30:29Speaker 1: it looked like circus so late, that's what it looks.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I mean they were doing handstands and so no k
- 30:34Speaker 1: be approved a on tail go um so yeah, but
- 30:37Speaker 1: I was, um, I took him his first red carpet.
- 30:39Speaker 1: He was having an amazing time. And so during the process,
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm telling them like, y'all, don't trip. This is your life.
- 30:45Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. These people are your peers.
- 30:47Speaker 1: You know they're gonna be around you. You don't have to.
- 30:49Speaker 1: It's all good. Don't get called, don't right. So I'm like,
- 30:55Speaker 1: you know, super happy, super happy for him, and and
- 30:58Speaker 1: you know, obviously we're having lessons throughout. So then the
- 31:00Speaker 1: other day he wants to go meet this for it right,
- 31:03Speaker 1: So I am you know, and this is for all
- 31:05Speaker 1: your parents out there, because I know you go through it.
- 31:07Speaker 1: But like I'm like, yo, you can go out with
- 31:10Speaker 1: your friends. You know what I'm saying, but be ready
- 31:11Speaker 1: by X y Z. So the time I told him
- 31:14Speaker 1: that he had to come home was passing. So but
- 31:16Speaker 1: he's like, yo, but it was ten o'clock and we
- 31:18Speaker 1: told such a sex moms and my just two hours after,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what, ten o'clock that fun? I
- 31:24Speaker 1: know you out there. I heard the whole ramns of
- 31:26Speaker 1: the girls gonna be there. I'm talking, I want you
- 31:28Speaker 1: to go, I got fresh, got you ready to go?
- 31:32Speaker 1: I can't. And then his mom goes to pick him
- 31:35Speaker 1: up at ten o'clock and guess what, he's not there.
- 31:38Speaker 1: It's not where he's supposed to be. And for me,
- 31:42Speaker 1: I was like, you know, when I'm hearing the story,
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm trying to process it because you know, he needs
- 31:46Speaker 1: I felt like he was good as what was coming.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I just felt like he was coming. It was it
- 31:50Speaker 1: was coming. It was coming, but I just want to
- 31:52Speaker 1: get more information for I locked all the way in
- 31:54Speaker 1: so I'm getting the story and yeah, yeah he's supposed
- 31:57Speaker 1: to be an X y Z. But then he was
- 31:59Speaker 1: across the highway. This man don't drive, you know, yeah, exactly,
- 32:06Speaker 1: He's across the highway with a bunch of people. In mind,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you only got a bunch of people. I didn't get specifically,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I got a bunch of people. So into my mind,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm like this and he's over across damn highway and
- 32:19Speaker 1: so that's all I hear. So the last piece was
- 32:22Speaker 1: giving him an opportunity to say the one thing he
- 32:26Speaker 1: could get him out, that could get him out of
- 32:28Speaker 1: the ship. You know what I'm talking about. I'm just
- 32:30Speaker 1: in my brain, you know, I want to choke the
- 32:32Speaker 1: ship out of and I'm just like, please say what
- 32:35Speaker 1: you gotta say so so we can have a conversation.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Save yourself. Guess what he says to me, Dad, I
- 32:42Speaker 1: got caught up at night. It was like a trigger word.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I saw red. I grabbed him soon across the island
- 32:48Speaker 1: board you knowing about just get the real defacts ship
- 32:51Speaker 1: to come get you from defect. Don't that exactly. But
- 32:56Speaker 1: we just had the conversation out. I'm not getting caught
- 33:02Speaker 1: up in nigh You put him on the red carpet
- 33:05Speaker 1: to understand. He does not need to get caught up
- 33:08Speaker 1: in the hype when you're when you're speaking, you're speaking
- 33:11Speaker 1: to these people. You're selling your clothing brand. You're selling
- 33:14Speaker 1: your clothing brand, right, You're selling your clothes. You're here
- 33:18Speaker 1: to sell your cloth. You know what I'm saying. You're
- 33:21Speaker 1: here to meet people making like oh, when my line comes, hey,
- 33:23Speaker 1: don't tell you I got your man, ludle, because you
- 33:25Speaker 1: know what I'm setting up the thing. Don't worry about
- 33:27Speaker 1: my daddy. I got That's what you're here to lost
- 33:29Speaker 1: story shout. I go in and today he comes down
- 33:35Speaker 1: and he says, Dad, I know you trust me. I
- 33:39Speaker 1: know you trust me, And I was not being trustworthy
- 33:44Speaker 1: last night at first. Mine, I'm thinking, you fucking politicians.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You just hit me because I was like you, right,
- 33:52Speaker 1: I know you trust me? Yeah? I know that was beautiful.
- 33:55Speaker 1: He's a politician. So I'm like, okay, but let me
- 33:58Speaker 1: tell you something. A matter of fact, who was you with?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Because I hadn't asked that. He's like, Dad, you knows
- 34:04Speaker 1: me like six girls and my partner we was over
- 34:06Speaker 1: where he was. I said us me six girls, two
- 34:08Speaker 1: guys and six girls. Two guys and six girls. So
- 34:11Speaker 1: in my mind, Daddy's like, oh he was a girl.
- 34:15Speaker 1: So I see, if you said that, you wouldn't have
- 34:17Speaker 1: got your ass well, and of course what you mean,
- 34:20Speaker 1: he wouldn't have got it said he needed his ass. Well,
- 34:22Speaker 1: he was with six girls six guys. That don't make
- 34:24Speaker 1: no difference. He should have told you that because I
- 34:26Speaker 1: would have I think coming from you, it would have
- 34:28Speaker 1: been a completely different conversation. He would have had a
- 34:30Speaker 1: totally different expense, and it would have been went to
