- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 7: I'm wearing new headphones today, so it's kind of a
- 1:07Speaker 7: trip to hear myself. Not gonna lie the first ones
- 1:11Speaker 7: I had, you know, some bargain basement specials or whatever.
- 1:15Speaker 7: These ones are a little fancier, so I'm kind of
- 1:18Speaker 7: hearing myself in a different way. Hello, Hello, Hello, I
- 1:24Speaker 7: got a great week for you. We're doing something really special.
- 1:29Speaker 7: You know there's a film that came out a couple
- 1:31Speaker 7: of years back, and then the sequel to it came
- 1:34Speaker 7: out just several months ago. And I think these two
- 1:37Speaker 7: films have been really transformative for the Indian cinema industry.
- 1:43Speaker 7: I would even say industry saving. I'm talking about the
- 1:47Speaker 7: movies Thunder and The Under the Revenge. And what got
- 1:53Speaker 7: me really thinking about these films is the second film,
- 1:58Speaker 7: The Undered the Revenge, just came out on Netflix over
- 2:01Speaker 7: the weekend and I was there going through the Netflix
- 2:06Speaker 7: homepage and saw the film there and I was like, Oh,
- 2:09Speaker 7: this is incredible. Both the films are there and what
- 2:13Speaker 7: an impact they've made. So over these next four days,
- 2:18Speaker 7: we're gonna talk about it in light of the brand
- 2:22Speaker 7: new and deca version of The Render the Revenge. We'll
- 2:26Speaker 7: chop it up here about this film sequel. It's great.

- 5:35Speaker 7: love to see you. It's a great one. Bill Gito Songs.
- 5:39Speaker 7: The song is called more Me. It was our number
- 5:41Speaker 7: one song from over the weekend. Yeah, And as I
- 5:46Speaker 7: mentioned to you, this week, we're putting spotlight on the
- 5:50Speaker 7: Drunder music and also the films. There's a song that
- 5:54Speaker 7: kicked off the original film soundtrack. This song is called
- 5:57Speaker 7: not dil de Mohammed s called nah.
- 6:02Speaker 12: They then at the paid jo Na Jog Jog and
- 6:10Speaker 12: the horn pay joys.
- 6:15Speaker 13: A game move see long syram and everything man got

- 7:49Speaker 12: then YadA gonna page calad jog and the joke and
- 7:57Speaker 12: burning page.
- 8:07Speaker 15: Long Basia mona myapar.
- 8:30Speaker 7: Such a beautiful piece of work. And what I mean
- 8:32Speaker 7: by it kicked off the soundtrack. The song is the
- 8:36Speaker 7: inspiration behind the song. I think this generation really got
- 8:40Speaker 7: to Know, which is a song by an artist by
- 8:43Speaker 7: the name of Punjab b MC and the particular version
- 8:46Speaker 7: that he put together is one that we know and
- 8:49Speaker 7: we probably would have thought that really conjured the version
- 8:53Speaker 7: of the song. Here's the version from Punjab BIMC that
- 8:56Speaker 7: I'm referring to. Really, that's the Punjab BMC version of it.
- 9:07Speaker 7: The song called Na del de perdesi knu that was
- 9:10Speaker 7: remixed by Punjab BMC for that version, which, of course
- 9:15Speaker 7: now and it's brand new iteration has been taken on
- 9:19Speaker 7: by Shush What such dive a name that you will
- 9:22Speaker 7: hear over and over again here in this episode, in
- 9:25Speaker 7: fact all week long, because Shush what is the composer
- 9:29Speaker 7: behind all of this music that you're about to hear
- 9:32Speaker 7: from the Durunder one and two soundtracks. This song right
- 9:36Speaker 7: here is called Drunder the title track. It features two
- 9:40Speaker 7: huge artists in the moment. One is Jasmine Sandless and
- 9:44Speaker 7: the second is Hanuman Kind.
- 9:46Speaker 14: Here's a track get Ready, I'm a King, but above
- 9:51Speaker 14: I must say they come me a bad man.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That's a good dame. I'm as says way back the
- 9:55Speaker 1: best way So I met my Mama Brown, I mean
- 9:57Speaker 1: ye is ram I to forgive me. I can't forgive them.
- 10:01Speaker 10: You know my history, you know what I did, what
- 10:03Speaker 10: I do now four hours.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Heaviest the head.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's a blessing and a curse. Up joking, up, joke.
- 11:00Speaker 1: The only bone's calling all. He's done it then, only
- 11:10Speaker 1: by them all, he's done it all. I'm a king
- 11:18Speaker 1: with above. Mis say, become a bad man.
- 11:20Speaker 7: That's a good, good Dame, I said, swing back when
- 11:22Speaker 7: in the mess wing so I make my mamma brow
- 11:24Speaker 7: and I mean Israel.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Heavy's the head, Heavy's dead. Heavy's the head. It's the
- 11:31Speaker 1: blessed anticiz.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Heavy's the head.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Heavy is the head. Heavy in the head.
- 11:36Speaker 7: What such dev has cleanly put himself on the top
- 11:39Speaker 7: shelf of Indian cinema composers with these two films that
- 11:43Speaker 7: he has worked on. And that was the title track
- 11:46Speaker 7: that had us all riveted in the moment with a
- 11:48Speaker 7: collaboration as huge as Jasmine Sandless. How do mankind getting
- 11:54Speaker 7: together in the moment? And that kicked off what would
- 11:57Speaker 7: become the fever around these two films going forward. Now, folks,
- 12:02Speaker 7: let's bring in doctor Roy to the show as she
- 12:04Speaker 7: brings us a daily word on the avenue right here
- 12:07Speaker 7: on the bridge. How are you doctor Roy?
- 12:09Speaker 16: Hey guys, this is doctor Roy Witde's word on the avenue.
- 12:12Speaker 16: In film and TV news, they're under the Revenge. Daring
- 12:15Speaker 16: renversingh has reportedly become a major success on Netflix right
- 12:19Speaker 16: after its theatrical performances, and according to a content creator,
- 12:23Speaker 16: it actually broke the platform servers in Pakistan within minutes
- 12:27Speaker 16: of the digital premiere due to the heavy demand from viewers.
- 12:30Speaker 16: Seems like that there under trend is going to go
- 12:32Speaker 16: global worldwide. In media news, at Monacow, cush Mani made
- 12:38Speaker 16: history with a commanding formula to victory for Dan's Lucas Oil,
- 12:42Speaker 16: marking the first time India's national anthem echoed on the
- 12:45Speaker 16: Monaco F two podium, now also serving as an Alpine
- 12:49Speaker 16: F one reserve driver Manny's milestone signals India's accelerating rise
- 12:54Speaker 16: in the world of global motorsport. An event nears at
- 12:58Speaker 16: age sixty, Millin's has once again pushed the limits of endurance,
- 13:02Speaker 16: completing a grueling fifteen kilometer open water swim across the
- 13:06Speaker 16: Strait of Jilbatar from Spain to Morocco. Widely regarded as
- 13:10Speaker 16: one of the toughest swimming routes due to strong currents
- 13:12Speaker 16: and unpredictable conditions. The feat has inspired fans worldwide. That's
- 13:17Speaker 16: it for today's Word on the Avenue until next time.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Thank you so much, doctor Roy, Thank you very much
- 13:23Speaker 7: for that. You know, part of the soundtrack that really
- 13:28Speaker 7: has stuck out to me, and particularly now we're still

- 19:10Speaker 7: saying for this beautiful song, great stuff. There got quite
- 19:16Speaker 7: the episode still ahead, folks, we'll be joined by Cooper

- 20:08Speaker 11: How are you, Mira, Hey, Sammy, Hey everyone, Mira Sharma
- 20:12Speaker 11: here with your weekly dose of mindful sess helping you
- 20:16Speaker 11: stay self assured, spirited and strong. So I was back
- 20:21Speaker 11: on the red carpet IFLA over the past few days
- 20:24Speaker 11: and I asked some of the talent what their mindfulness
- 20:27Speaker 11: go tos are, and honestly, my biggest takeaway from everyone
- 20:31Speaker 11: was don't start your day by picking up your phone.
- 20:35Speaker 11: So this week's message is simple, when you wake up,
- 20:39Speaker 11: resist the scroll. Instead, do something else. Stretch your body,
- 20:44Speaker 11: drink some water, read a few pages off a book,
- 20:47Speaker 11: or just take a moment to be still. Try it
- 20:51Speaker 11: for a week and see the difference it makes to
- 20:53Speaker 11: your energy and your mindset.
- 20:56Speaker 10: You've got this.
- 20:57Speaker 7: Thank you, Mira, Thank you so much for that. Shout
- 21:00Speaker 7: out to Mira Sharma who joins us every Monday morning

- 23:20Speaker 10: move to such your door?

- 23:26Speaker 5: Keep any calam over there, that's the man.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Keep a.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Ready avenue. The car looking car, get out of.
- 24:10Speaker 7: You, that's the man, right out of the gate. I
- 24:36Speaker 7: remember they followed up with this song and got everybody's attention.
- 24:42Speaker 7: This song called produced by shush Whatsu's Dave and really
- 24:48Speaker 7: put a very minimalistic beat there and let del Gito
- 24:51Speaker 7: songs do his thing. Really well done there, as we
- 24:54Speaker 7: continue to pay tribute to the Dunder one and two
- 24:59Speaker 7: soundtrack and the films themselves. Now let's bring in Daniel
- 25:03Speaker 7: Johnson to the show.
- 25:05Speaker 24: This is un News today with me Daniel Johnson. The
- 25:08Speaker 24: headlines Somalia's people face a real and credible risk of
- 25:13Speaker 24: famine and the Middle East crisis is making the situation worse.
- 25:17Speaker 24: A teams say, just as in Sudan, eight hundred and
- 25:20Speaker 24: twenty five thousand children could starve unless they receive help soon.
- 25:25Speaker 24: And in Ukraine, amid more Russian drone at missile strikes,
- 25:29Speaker 24: a UN convoy is hit twice will have the details.
- 25:36Speaker 24: At least six million people in Somalia are going for
- 25:39Speaker 24: days without enough food, with a real risk of famine.
- 25:42Speaker 24: UNA teams warned on Friday in an alert. They said
- 25:46Speaker 24: that nearly two million were young children at high risk
- 25:49Speaker 24: of illness or death. Somalia's rapidly intensifying hunger emergency is
- 25:54Speaker 24: worsening faster than expected, driven by severe drought combined with
- 25:58Speaker 24: flash flooding, in secure scurity, extremely limited humanitarian assistance, and
- 26:03Speaker 24: the ripple effects of conflict in the Middle East, with
- 26:06Speaker 24: supplied disruptions in the vital Strait of Hormuz with more
- 26:09Speaker 24: His You and Children's Fund spokesperson Ricardo pires.
- 26:13Speaker 2: We depend a lot obviously on ready to use therapeutic
- 26:17Speaker 2: feeding to treat mal nourish children and with this projection
- 26:20Speaker 2: that was just mentioned, this is critical. It's a matter
- 26:23Speaker 2: of life or death for them. The cost of air
- 26:26Speaker 2: freight has increased significantly since the Middle East crisis, to
- 26:30Speaker 2: a point that it is of grave concern for US.
- 26:34Speaker 24: Disease levels are increasing alongside malnutrition, but healthcare is no
- 26:38Speaker 24: longer available or stretched too thin by supply chain delays.
- 26:43Speaker 24: Originating in the Middle East. In twenty twenty two, famine
- 26:46Speaker 24: in Somali was only averted through massively scaled up and
- 26:50Speaker 24: sustained international support after one of the longest droughts on record.
- 26:54Speaker 24: A hunger crisis is also impacting Sudan, where agencies warn
- 26:59Speaker 24: that more than eight hundred thousand under five year olds
- 27:02Speaker 24: face near starvation conditions amid ongoing war. The problem is
- 27:06Speaker 24: that hunger is not only widespread, but it is deepening,
- 27:09Speaker 24: according to the UN World Food Program WFP. The agency
- 27:13Speaker 24: pointed to ongoing mass displacement caused by the conflict between
- 27:17Speaker 24: Sudan's rival militaries, which has exhausted people's ability to feed
- 27:21Speaker 24: themselves and any coping mechanisms they had. Humanitarians also continue
- 27:26Speaker 24: to be attacked, said WFP's Ross Smith.
- 27:30Speaker 25: We are ready to do more, however, we plan to
- 27:32Speaker 25: do with the low reality start funding spiral or what
- 27:35Speaker 25: is required, and access to the most vulnerable must be
- 27:38Speaker 25: improved and for that the fighting must start.
- 27:41Speaker 24: Nearly nineteen and a half million people now face crisis
- 27:45Speaker 24: levels of hunger in Sudan with multiple areas at risk
- 27:48Speaker 24: of famine in the coming months. The UN and humanitarian
- 27:51Speaker 24: partners continue to help people in need across Sudan. These
- 27:55Speaker 24: include nearly eighty eight thousand people in South Quarterafan State,
- 27:59Speaker 24: including South Sudanese refugees, displaced people, and host communities who've
- 28:03Speaker 24: received water and sanitation support. To Ukraine, where in addition
- 28:08Speaker 24: to continuing large scale attacks by Russia in the capital
- 28:11Speaker 24: and in western and central areas, a UN humanitarian convoy
- 28:15Speaker 24: has come under fire twice. One strike in Kharkiv injured
- 28:19Speaker 24: many civilians who had been going to work on Thursday.
- 28:21Speaker 24: It also damaged homes and a shelter for displaced people.
- 28:25Speaker 24: The UN convoy targeted twice had been delivering essential support
- 28:29Speaker 24: to people in Hassan with the help of Ukrainian authorities.
- 28:33Speaker 24: The first drone strike hit as the AID convoy entered Ostrev,
- 28:36Speaker 24: an area that has not received assistance for months. The
- 28:39Speaker 24: second drone strike happened while the eight team was distributing
- 28:42Speaker 24: relief items, badly damaging a clearly marked UN vehicle. What
- 28:47Speaker 24: it means is that humanitarians are not safe, as well
- 28:49Speaker 24: as many Ukrainians. Although the essential work of providing assistance
- 28:53Speaker 24: must continue, insisted Dr Jano Habot from the un Weld

- 34:59Speaker 9: A ma.
- 35:11Speaker 29: God today.
- 35:20Speaker 7: And folks, let's bring in Coobra Satan into the show.
- 35:34Speaker 7: How are you Coobra?
- 35:37Speaker 23: You doing? Thanks for calling me? What time?
- 35:42Speaker 7: Well, you've been busy. You've been putting together one of
- 35:45Speaker 7: my favorite shows out there right now. And I and
- 35:47Speaker 7: and listen, I've just been you know, every morning before
- 35:50Speaker 7: I go in the airh on a Thursday morning, I'm
- 35:52Speaker 7: like late getting on the air because I'm just listening
- 35:54Speaker 7: to the last second of your show right before I
- 35:57Speaker 7: hit record on my thing. So it's been one of
- 35:58Speaker 7: my favorite Thursday Morning but Coopra, you know, I wanted
- 36:02Speaker 7: to ask you it's been for me as an audience
- 36:05Speaker 7: member listening in and watching you guys, it just seems
- 36:09Speaker 7: like such a fun time being a part of that show.
- 36:13Speaker 23: It is so much fun because it's so insane. Like
- 36:16Speaker 23: I'm a firm believer of like a world without strangers, right,
- 36:20Speaker 23: I mean, why it's so hard for us to just
- 36:22Speaker 23: HAVEPPI with conversations, a big conversations instead of navigating our
- 36:28Speaker 23: way through like small dogs. And I think that's what
- 36:32Speaker 23: Indian Standard Time is doing, because it's really like, you know,
- 36:36Speaker 23: for the common uh, you know, for like common knowledge,
- 36:39Speaker 23: Like you know, people would be like, oh maybe us
- 36:42Speaker 23: at Oberoi in Kubra State, live in the same city,
- 36:45Speaker 23: are a part like the same industry, so they probably
- 36:48Speaker 23: know each other. And the truth is we don't we
- 36:52Speaker 23: really ever meet.
- 36:54Speaker 7: We don't know each other adults.
- 36:56Speaker 23: Yama, I've never met personally Mona. I have only ever
- 37:01Speaker 23: met her online. Like it's only after we started the show,
- 37:06Speaker 23: is when I think we all started following each other
- 37:08Speaker 23: on Instagram and knowing about what we do or whereabouts,
- 37:14Speaker 23: Like I learned that drama was going for his honeymoon
- 37:18Speaker 23: for the first time after so many years of being married.
- 37:21Speaker 23: And this is so cool, right, Like, it's just insane.
- 37:25Speaker 23: It's it's beautiful, it's inclusive, it's curious, it's funny. It's
- 37:33Speaker 23: shocking how our mind's like, you know, like remember stuff.
- 37:39Speaker 23: It's incredible. I think I'm having such a great time
- 37:42Speaker 23: jamming with my three other co hosts, and I'm getting
- 37:46Speaker 23: to know them at such a personal level, at such
- 37:49Speaker 23: a deep personal level. But what I also find interesting
- 37:53Speaker 23: is that there are no boundaries right the east and
- 37:58Speaker 23: the West. Yes, there are no boundaries. It's like so
- 38:03Speaker 23: boundary agnostic, because hey, this is why I'm like, I
- 38:07Speaker 23: love it when like my friends now when they called
- 38:12Speaker 23: me out and they say, like, ha ha, you don't
- 38:14Speaker 23: know anything about pod concert. Yes I know, but you're here,
- 38:17Speaker 23: so educate me.
- 38:19Speaker 7: That's so funny, you know. I feel like that. I
- 38:22Speaker 7: feel like I'm watching four new friends. Like, at least
- 38:26Speaker 7: for me as a listener, I feel like I'm, you know,
- 38:29Speaker 7: making friends with four new individuals. But you know, we
- 38:31Speaker 7: forget the four of you guys are also getting to
- 38:34Speaker 7: know each other, and it's playing out on the air
- 38:37Speaker 7: the first four episodes have been really focused on the
- 38:40Speaker 7: individual stories of each of you, and now as we
- 38:43Speaker 7: move in beyond that, I think the show really opens
- 38:46Speaker 7: up in a way where now that you've got to
- 38:48Speaker 7: know each other, the focus has been, you know, on
- 38:51Speaker 7: you individually. But now I feel like the free for
- 38:53Speaker 7: all will begin and I'm excited to hear that. Listen,
- 38:57Speaker 7: I know that you've you've probably take the next episode
- 38:59Speaker 7: for us us. You know, where is it that this
- 39:02Speaker 7: show is going in terms of your relationship with yourselves
- 39:05Speaker 7: and also the audience?
- 39:08Speaker 23: Yeah, and you know the beauty is that I think
- 39:10Speaker 23: all four of us are curious to find out because literally,
- 39:14Speaker 23: like there are days honestly when we get together on
- 39:19Speaker 23: our like recording portals and we go like, so, what
- 39:22Speaker 23: are we going to talk about today? Then maybe this
- 39:25Speaker 23: is what we should talk about. What are your grand ideas?
- 39:28Speaker 25: You know what?
- 39:29Speaker 23: I like that idea better than this idea? Oh my god,
- 39:32Speaker 23: can we just like see these ideas even together? It's
- 39:36Speaker 23: insane and it's so fun to talk to like three
- 39:40Speaker 23: other chapel boxes. I think the first big challenge of
- 39:44Speaker 23: our show when we were recording like the first few episodes,
- 39:48Speaker 23: honestly was like, oh my god. We were so excited
- 39:50Speaker 23: to talk over each other.
- 39:52Speaker 7: Sure, sure, really to contribute, and.
- 39:55Speaker 23: Then we were like, okay, we need to learn how
- 39:57Speaker 23: to shut up. We shouldn't be talking over each other.
- 40:01Speaker 7: Yeah, you got you know, let's talk about this. You know,
- 40:05Speaker 7: you're such an accomplished actor. You're on all kinds of
- 40:09Speaker 7: different sets over there, and now you're doing something completely different.
- 40:12Speaker 7: We're sticking a microphone in front of you and you're
- 40:14Speaker 7: talking about yourself. You're not portraying specifically another character. What's
- 40:19Speaker 7: that adjustment like for you?
- 40:22Speaker 23: I acuity have never ever loved anything more than being
- 40:27Speaker 23: my authentic self. And authenticity so like, I don't know what.
- 40:32Speaker 23: It's such a simple thing, but sometimes I find it
- 40:35Speaker 23: so overstated, and I'm like, isn't that the most basic
- 40:40Speaker 23: thing that one should just bring to your own life?
- 40:43Speaker 23: And when someone's being authentic, you're like giving them gold
- 40:49Speaker 23: medals for it, and I'm like, dude, it's true. How
- 40:53Speaker 23: breaking hard is that? But like, I think being an
- 40:57Speaker 23: actor has actually made me kinder to myself and kind
- 41:01Speaker 23: there's the world around me. And in fact, it was
- 41:03Speaker 23: just talking about it to another really close friend. This
- 41:05Speaker 23: evening being an actor just you know, I mean just
- 41:10Speaker 23: look at everything that I have worked in as an actor,
- 41:13Speaker 23: and most of it, all right, would be like your bold,
- 41:17Speaker 23: you're strong, you die in every first season or something
- 41:22Speaker 23: like that, right, Like there is no gentleness or softness.
- 41:26Speaker 23: But as a human being, as like I'm not kidding you,
- 41:31Speaker 23: like I'm discovering feminity all over again, like just you know,
- 41:36Speaker 23: just being around and it's so nice to just embrace
- 41:40Speaker 23: your feminity. It's so fun to embrace your silliness. It's
- 41:44Speaker 23: so fun to just embrace who you are and and
- 41:49Speaker 23: to just be hurt for who you are. I think
- 41:52Speaker 23: that's what we're exploring in this show, where you know,
- 41:56Speaker 23: we can make fun of our own cultures, we can
- 41:59Speaker 23: be more obsor events towards our own culture. Is we
- 42:02Speaker 23: are able to see how incredible and large hearted our
- 42:07Speaker 23: culture is, how inclusive our culture is. There is so
- 42:11Speaker 23: much that comes to the full strite, right, It's amazing.
- 42:14Speaker 23: And all of us have our journeys. And the funny
- 42:18Speaker 23: thing is that when we talk about journeys where it's
- 42:21Speaker 23: professional person, it's always ongoing, right, So.
- 42:28Speaker 25: I love that.
- 42:28Speaker 7: About you guys. You guys are kind of playing out
- 42:31Speaker 7: your your real life careers. And as I mentioned to you, you,
- 42:34Speaker 7: of course, actor, the other members of this team are
- 42:38Speaker 7: all very accomplished individuals doing different things in their own
- 42:41Speaker 7: individual spaces, and one of the favorite things of mine
- 42:44Speaker 7: listening in on this. Of course, making four new friends
- 42:47Speaker 7: as a listener is one thing, and then also watching
- 42:50Speaker 7: the four of you guys make this bond amongst the
- 42:53Speaker 7: four of you. But then you have this very unique
- 42:55Speaker 7: vantage point of listening to these individuals bring so much
- 42:59Speaker 7: knowledge and virtue from their own backgrounds to this conversation.
- 43:02Speaker 7: And you hear it. It's it's got a lot of
- 43:05Speaker 7: that in there.
- 43:07Speaker 23: Yeah, because we've all had experiences which make us unique,
- 43:11Speaker 23: right right and there our right experiences or wrong experiences,
- 43:16Speaker 23: These are just experiences and we went through them. And
- 43:20Speaker 23: the least we can do is honor ourselves for staying
- 43:24Speaker 23: alive with so many experiences. Straight up, Oh my god,
- 43:31Speaker 23: we haven't survived this apocalypse. We're surviving this apostolip so
- 43:36Speaker 23: why not?
- 43:37Speaker 19: You know?
- 43:38Speaker 23: It's fun like times are changing, laws are changing, got
- 43:45Speaker 23: big shifts in the world we don't know, but we
- 43:48Speaker 23: are grappling with uncertainty all the time, and yet you know,
- 43:53Speaker 23: there is just such a lot part of the world
- 43:56Speaker 23: that is connected, you know, to each other through music, films,
- 44:00Speaker 23: through this culture and podcast art and that's podcast and
- 44:06Speaker 23: just art. I feel it's such such soft clean right,
- 44:11Speaker 23: like we can make anything out of it. And I
- 44:13Speaker 23: think life can be treated with art sometimes. And if
- 44:17Speaker 23: we can put our life into a podcast, call it art,
- 44:19Speaker 23: call it a medium of entertainment, why not that seasons?
- 44:24Speaker 9: Just don't kill me.
- 44:28Speaker 7: Coobra. All right, on that note, we're going to make
- 44:31Speaker 7: sure that you get don't get killed off in the
- 44:33Speaker 7: first season of IST. You know, there's no that's so funny.
- 44:37Speaker 7: H before I let you go. You know, today I'm
- 44:39Speaker 7: in the middle of I'm doing a whole special this
- 44:43Speaker 7: week long on the movie Donder did you ever get
- 44:46Speaker 7: a chance to see it? And the Revenge you Don't
- 44:48Speaker 7: get me started?
- 44:50Speaker 23: Don't get me started. I love that film.
- 44:52Speaker 7: It is so good.
- 44:53Speaker 23: Oh my god, I love one I love too. I
- 44:55Speaker 23: watched One Wife and I think that was pretty obsessive.
- 45:02Speaker 23: I must tell you, I have my closest friend here
- 45:05Speaker 23: in India who's watched it eighteen den. I was like,
- 45:09Speaker 23: did you not understand it? The first seventeen times, did
- 45:14Speaker 23: you not get it that everything is this fie? Wasn't
- 45:18Speaker 23: that hard for you to devote? But I watched one
- 45:22Speaker 23: and then I went and watched it, and in fact
- 45:24Speaker 23: one I went and watched it in the theater alone
- 45:27Speaker 23: because I think I had passed the due date of
- 45:30Speaker 23: watching it with friends and everyone had watched it. And
- 45:33Speaker 23: then when The Revenge came out, I went to watch
- 45:37Speaker 23: it with my mom, which is like the most hilarious
- 45:39Speaker 23: part of watching the film, because my mom watched it
- 45:41Speaker 23: with like both rice shots. I was like, Mom, this
- 45:44Speaker 23: is a movie. It's all your visual so we need
- 45:47Speaker 23: to see the visuals.
- 45:49Speaker 7: Well, you need to tell her.
- 45:50Speaker 9: To go see this.
- 45:51Speaker 7: There's a brand new unedited version that Netflix just put up,
- 45:54Speaker 7: and so I'm I was just riveted by it. I
- 45:58Speaker 7: was like, oh my god, this is a hold them song,
- 46:00Speaker 7: a whole new scene. So I'm not going to tell
- 46:01Speaker 7: you about it. You you definitely need to go check
- 46:03Speaker 7: it out. When if you did see The Revenge, but
- 46:06Speaker 7: it's got a whole new scene in there, so go
- 46:08Speaker 7: see it.
- 46:09Speaker 23: Really. Oh my god, Okay, now you're going to make it.
- 46:14Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 46:15Speaker 23: Okay, I'm excited, but I think everything changed for me
- 46:21Speaker 23: when this is saying, and you know, the one scene
- 46:24Speaker 23: that I can't get out of my head is when
- 46:26Speaker 23: he shoots the character that's speed, I got of data
- 46:31Speaker 23: and then he says.
- 46:33Speaker 7: God, God, get such a great line.
- 46:39Speaker 25: God.
- 46:40Speaker 23: I sort of walk into my house and I see
- 46:42Speaker 23: that to my cat. I don't make good skip my cat.
- 46:46Speaker 23: So like this person's lost.
- 46:49Speaker 7: Uh, Coobra, such a great time hanging out with you,
- 46:52Speaker 7: as much fun as I knew it would be. Always
- 46:54Speaker 7: great talking to you and the fabulous and wonderful Coobra
- 46:58Speaker 7: say nice talking to Thank you Sammy.
- 47:02Speaker 23: Next year, I se on next Thursday and every Thursday,
- 47:05Speaker 23: because we are four friends just joining each other, jamming
- 47:09Speaker 23: with each other and learning about each other lovely.
- 47:11Speaker 7: We'll all tune in this Thursday. Can't wait. Thank you, Coobra,
- 47:16Speaker 7: Thank you, Sammy.
- 47:39Speaker 30: Turned up, turn up, turned up, turned up, turn up,

- 54:47Speaker 7: do something.
- 54:48Speaker 3: You know.
- 54:48Speaker 7: I want you guys to go on a journey with
- 54:50Speaker 7: me this week. What we'll do tonight, I want everybody
- 54:54Speaker 7: to go home and watch under the very first one again.
- 54:58Speaker 7: It's available on Netflix. Go give it a watch. And
- 55:03Speaker 7: what we'll do is tomorrow we'll talk about it together
- 55:06Speaker 7: and then tomorrow night I'll ask you to watch the
- 55:10Speaker 7: second one, the brand new under Cut on Netflix as well,
- 55:15Speaker 7: and we'll talk about that on Wednesday. This song is
- 55:18Speaker 7: called Bajo.
- 56:11Speaker 19: Not not.
- 56:16Speaker 3: Me to Carty lookate nikis Lggy Ramstam.
- 56:28Speaker 9: Ramstammustom who.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Sho starts a.
- 56:58Speaker 7: Shining Ram Bajo Shasha TOUCHDV Madhu Banti Bachi and of
- 57:29Speaker 7: course a big ode and a big shout out to
- 57:32Speaker 7: the great late Buppy the Buffy La Harry on that
- 57:37Speaker 7: song right there. You know, I've watched Bollywood confidence rise
- 57:43Speaker 7: and fall on a five year cycle. The last five
- 57:46Speaker 7: years were brutal. I had executives and major labels telling
- 57:49Speaker 7: me Hindi Cinema was over. I had producers telling me
- 57:53Speaker 7: the audience moved to streaming and wasn't coming back. I
- 57:57Speaker 7: had agent telling me their clients take TV deals because
- 58:00Speaker 7: the theater wasn't going to survive, and then Adityadar made
- 58:05Speaker 7: a film that reminded everybody what a movie is supposed
- 58:08Speaker 7: to feel like. The Runder grossed in December, the Revenge
- 58:13Speaker 7: grossed in March. These three hundred and sixty million dollars
- 58:17Speaker 7: between the two and then Saturday, Netflix drops the unextended,
- 58:22Speaker 7: un deca version of Part two internationally, and the conversation
- 58:28Speaker 7: that was happening at every label meeting in Mumbai a
- 58:30Speaker 7: year ago about whether Bollywood was finished, that conversation just
- 58:35Speaker 7: kind of ended. But the part of this story that
- 58:38Speaker 7: doesn't get told often and often enough is that the
- 58:42Speaker 7: music did the load bearing work. The film walks because
- 58:45Speaker 7: the score and the songs carry it, and the title
- 58:49Speaker 7: track of the whole franchise, Hanu Mankind and Jasmine Sandlists
- 58:53Speaker 7: trading verses over a beat that feels like twenty twenty five,
- 58:57Speaker 7: is built on a nineteen ninety five Panjab be folk
- 59:00Speaker 7: classic that almost nobody under forty even knows. The biggest
- 59:05Speaker 7: Hindi film of the year sits on a thirty year
- 59:07Speaker 7: old folk record. Folks watch Drunder tonight, listen for that
- 59:12Speaker 7: song It's hiding in plain Sight. Tomorrow, on this show,
- 59:17Speaker 7: we decode the part one of this two part series.
- 59:22Speaker 7: Here's Deljit Dosange have a great day, everybody.
- 59:28Speaker 10: Adiabada Gully.
- 59:37Speaker 5: Skiddy, padi Abara Nada Daba Gully Jolly Alasia Body
