Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #295: Life Demands May Require a Pause
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody, Welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev,
- 0:05Speaker 1: good day, good morning, noon, whatever it.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Is wherever you are. Hello, how are things?
- 0:15Speaker 1: Oh? Seems to be starting to settle down for me
- 0:20Speaker 1: a little bit, which is fabulous because now I'm gonna
- 0:23Speaker 1: get back into reigniting myself as far as my classes
- 0:27Speaker 1: and coaching. So start with classes online, teaching online classes
- 0:35Speaker 1: and just get the momentum going. So again, get the
- 0:41Speaker 1: momentum going again. So and it's okay. I'm okay with
- 0:49Speaker 1: it because I had to pull back. My financial situation
- 0:57Speaker 1: got a little tense, and so I was blocking myself
- 1:01Speaker 1: from receiving any kind of prosperity because I was too
- 1:04Speaker 1: focused on what I the debt that had built up
- 1:08Speaker 1: and my attention was too much on it. So to
- 1:14Speaker 1: ease that, I went and got a job well in
- 1:17Speaker 1: that I do forty plus hours a week and I'm
- 1:23Speaker 1: had have significant roles in an nonprofit organization I'm in
- 1:29Speaker 1: And so just took me a couple of years. I'm
- 1:33Speaker 1: two and a half years into my business. The first
- 1:36Speaker 1: year of sorry, two and a half years into my job.
- 1:39Speaker 1: The first year of my job, I tried to do
- 1:42Speaker 1: all three of them. And try to stay up on it,
- 1:45Speaker 1: which was exhausting, and I just finally had to take
- 1:50Speaker 1: some priorities and step back. And so the coaching and
- 1:54Speaker 1: classes was the one that I had to put aside
- 1:57Speaker 1: for the time being, knowing it was temporary. It is
- 2:02Speaker 1: still my passion, is still the thing I want to do,
- 2:07Speaker 1: and it was important for me to get some of
- 2:10Speaker 1: my debt paid off. And so but even in my workspace,
- 2:15Speaker 1: my job, I really enjoy it so and it's it's
- 2:21Speaker 1: still helping people and coaching people in a different way.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's been interesting because in my business and coaching, you know,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I talk a lot about spirituality, all the things that
- 2:34Speaker 1: we talk about here, so very I have a lot
- 2:37Speaker 1: more freedom and how I talk because it's my business
- 2:40Speaker 1: and I get to teach the way I want to teach.
- 2:43Speaker 1: At my job, it's more structured, and so I have
- 2:48Speaker 1: to be mindful of the type of words I use
- 2:51Speaker 1: and how to explain something without being woo woo or
- 2:55Speaker 1: spiritual or talk about chakras or you know, and things
- 3:01Speaker 1: like that. So which has been great because now I know,
- 3:05Speaker 1: now I have more information, I'm learning and I love learning.
- 3:09Speaker 1: So this is it's been and and The other benefit
- 3:13Speaker 1: is I've been meeting people I wouldn't have met sitting
- 3:15Speaker 1: in my That's not a true statement. I've met a
- 3:20Speaker 1: lot of people quicker than if I would have just
- 3:24Speaker 1: stayed at home building a business have. I've met a
- 3:29Speaker 1: lot more people in our community, even outside of our
- 3:33Speaker 1: community that it would have either taken longer or may
- 3:39Speaker 1: have never had those connections. So I've learned so much.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I've met a lot of people and have expanded that
- 3:48Speaker 1: those contacts. And so that's kind of where I'm at
- 3:52Speaker 1: right now. So I'm going into twenty twenty six with
- 3:57Speaker 1: a renewal, if you will, of reviving, reviving, revitalization. How's
- 4:03Speaker 1: that reigniting my coaching and teaching?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Nice?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that because even if you're revisiting and
- 4:15Speaker 2: everything and going back to your you've already evolved everything.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So many things have changed even since you were doing
- 4:21Speaker 2: it before. Even though you still do stuff, but you're
- 4:23Speaker 2: still there's so much things that have shifted for you. Yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 2: which which also means that different people will be coming
- 4:29Speaker 2: to the gatherings. I was going to say, to the surface,
- 4:34Speaker 2: because there it is. And it's like even with your job,
- 4:36Speaker 2: it's such an opportunity to learn how to communicate a
- 4:42Speaker 2: lot of the same stuff with different vocabularies, you know,
- 4:46Speaker 2: speaking a different language even though it's the same language,
- 4:49Speaker 2: but you just learn how to speak to it in
- 4:51Speaker 2: certain groups.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's it was, for example, a learning curve
- 4:57Speaker 1: for me was, you know, when you step into the
- 5:00Speaker 1: a spiritual arena, it's easy to talk about freaky and
- 5:06Speaker 1: auras and chakras and sound healing and all those things.
- 5:12Speaker 1: But when you have somebody you're coaching who has a
- 5:15Speaker 1: religious background, you want to learn how to speak to
- 5:20Speaker 1: them and connect with them. So it's making me more versatile.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I have broader components to my communication skills now. So yeah, nice, Yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I agree.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It does make a difference.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And luckily I had a few people that came into
- 5:48Speaker 2: my experience to help me open up to be able
- 5:52Speaker 2: to communicate, you know, especially if they were more religious.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It helped me. It actually expanded me because I felt
- 5:59Speaker 3: like I was closed off for a lot.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Of those two a lot of those things because I
- 6:03Speaker 2: had my own dualities within myself about a lot of things,
- 6:06Speaker 2: and I recognize they were all on our own personal journeys,
- 6:10Speaker 2: and those journeys take us to wherever we're going in
- 6:13Speaker 2: our own unique ways, our own unique styles, and so
- 6:16Speaker 2: there is no right or wrong way, or a good
- 6:18Speaker 2: or bad way. It just is whatever works best for
- 6:21Speaker 2: each individual. And that took me a long time because
- 6:25Speaker 2: I even struggled with a lot of that with my
- 6:27Speaker 2: mom because she starts saying stuff and it's like, oh,
- 6:30Speaker 2: here we go. But and I recognize my kids would
- 6:32Speaker 2: do almost like the same thing. Oh her mom's getting
- 6:35Speaker 2: all philosophical on us right now, or she's whatever. However,
- 6:39Speaker 2: they would termin all or terminate the conversation as I
- 6:42Speaker 2: was having the conversation, probably mostly telling them or talking
- 6:47Speaker 2: at them about the information that I had because it
- 6:50Speaker 2: was all new stuff and it was so fun to
- 6:52Speaker 2: want to share it that I wanted everybody to be
- 6:54Speaker 2: able to understand, But how did I didn't even understand
- 6:56Speaker 2: at that time, honestly, And so that's all too so,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and it is in the continual evolution.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, So that's nice. You just God, And sometimes it sucks.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Ass, It really does, it really does.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I will tell you there. Lately, it's been so.
- 7:26Speaker 2: So heavy where I'm at, and it's it's allowing me
- 7:32Speaker 2: to reflect more and to go within and start asking
- 7:35Speaker 2: more questions and not have the conversations outside of myself.
- 7:39Speaker 3: It's actually which god dang it sucks.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Ass, But anyways, it's it's guiding me into myself to
- 7:45Speaker 2: be able to have those answers and those you know,
- 7:48Speaker 2: to go in for the guidance.
- 7:49Speaker 3: But it's not easy.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It's not easy when you're used to when you're familiar
- 7:55Speaker 2: with how our relationship has been, and all of a sudden,
- 7:58Speaker 2: the communication style it's like completely cut off. When that's
- 8:02Speaker 2: completely cut off, it's like I don't and I understand
- 8:06Speaker 2: it because I ask, why is it shown up for me?
- 8:08Speaker 2: You know, like what am I going to learn from this?
- 8:10Speaker 2: And I feel like a lot of it is to
- 8:12Speaker 2: guide me within. I would like some frickin' answers about stuff,
- 8:16Speaker 2: but it's like I also have to I'm learning patience
- 8:19Speaker 2: and I don't have to because the more that I
- 8:21Speaker 2: try to resist this stuff, the more that it's it creates.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Then I get stuck in the past, or I get
- 8:27Speaker 2: stuck in the future, and I get stuck in the
- 8:28Speaker 2: anxiety or in the depression areas, and so recognizing all
- 8:32Speaker 2: those things and really it's in for me right now,
- 8:37Speaker 2: it feels like it's forcing me to be in the
- 8:39Speaker 2: space of now that that's really because otherwise it's uncomfortable
- 8:44Speaker 2: because you can keep replaying the stories over and over
- 8:47Speaker 2: and over in your mind, or you could keep worrying
- 8:50Speaker 2: about what the future has got for you, or where
- 8:51Speaker 2: you're going to be or are you still are you
- 8:54Speaker 2: still going to be in the same place anymore, or
- 8:56Speaker 2: for your shifts or you're moved, And it's kind of
- 8:59Speaker 2: a scary replace. It's kind of a because it's so unknown,
- 9:03Speaker 2: and I recognize that I think a lot of times
- 9:06Speaker 2: I had well it's not even a lot of times.
- 9:08Speaker 2: A lot of times most of the time I had
- 9:10Speaker 2: fear of change. I'm still having fear of change. And
- 9:14Speaker 2: so it's learning how to try to walk through this
- 9:17Speaker 2: and I can't. I have my friends that I can
- 9:20Speaker 2: reach out to and talk to, but it's not the
- 9:22Speaker 2: same when you're familiar with something else. And so it's
- 9:25Speaker 2: also recognizing codependency. And there's a lot of different things
- 9:30Speaker 2: that I'm recognizing in my life, and it's it's on
- 9:33Speaker 2: my side, it's not something on somebody else's side. And
- 9:36Speaker 2: you know, wanting things to be a certain way, or
- 9:40Speaker 2: the communication styles to be a certain way and it's
- 9:43Speaker 2: just totally chopped up. It's just totally not there. So
- 9:48Speaker 2: it's been quite the growing. But this is shouldn't be
- 9:52Speaker 2: very uncommon for me at this point because it's been
- 9:54Speaker 2: going on pretty hard since April, with a couple of
- 9:59Speaker 2: times I come up to this surface to take a
- 10:00Speaker 2: breath and I die right back down right.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I feel that way too. It's like, Okay, I got
- 10:08Speaker 1: a breath, all right, here we go.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Yeah, now to get into a space where it feels
- 10:14Speaker 2: like I'm in control, but my cards keep saying I
- 10:18Speaker 2: need to let go of control.
- 10:20Speaker 3: And that's heavy too. You know, it's kind of hard.
- 10:24Speaker 3: It's kind of hard.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It's kind of it's kind of I have to rely
- 10:28Speaker 2: back on to the things that we've talked about, relying
- 10:30Speaker 2: back on writing, and I'm talking to friends, reaching out.
- 10:35Speaker 2: If I start, if I'm emotional, then I'm having a
- 10:37Speaker 2: conversation with people that I know that I can have
- 10:40Speaker 2: conversations with, which obviously I can have conversations with you too,
- 10:45Speaker 2: but it's there is just like a limited amount of people.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And then also recognizing during all this sometimes the things
- 10:53Speaker 2: that I might share or something that somebody else has witnessed.
- 10:55Speaker 2: They'll might have their opinions because they have their own
- 10:58Speaker 2: template about how things have been, relationships and such, and
- 11:02Speaker 2: it can create confusion, especially for the person that's an ampath,
- 11:06Speaker 2: which I am, and I would recognize that I could
- 11:08Speaker 2: start taking on some of that belief system, but I
- 11:13Speaker 2: would sit.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I carry my pendulum. I have my wooden pendulum.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I carried around with me everywhere I go because if
- 11:17Speaker 2: I have to stop on pull over on the side
- 11:19Speaker 2: of the road, I pull off the side of the road.
- 11:21Speaker 2: If I've got something that's really sitting in me that
- 11:24Speaker 2: doesn't feel right. I'm learning how to go neutral in
- 11:27Speaker 2: those spaces as much as possible, and sometimes I can't.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So it's like then it's asking from within, or I
- 11:32Speaker 2: get a message from a friend, or you know, something
- 11:35Speaker 2: along those lines. So it's really I think things are
- 11:39Speaker 2: going crazy right now for a lot of people.
- 11:43Speaker 3: There.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I saw something just recently it talked about people kind
- 11:46Speaker 2: of like flatlining not knowing, and I feel like that's
- 11:49Speaker 2: kind of what's going on in my experience, not for
- 11:52Speaker 2: me personally, but flatlining not having any emotions at all
- 11:56Speaker 2: about anything because they're in a different space and it's
- 11:59Speaker 2: hard not to take it personal, because I'll go back
- 12:02Speaker 2: to the impath thing. It's that's why it's so very
- 12:06Speaker 2: important for us to get to know ourselves and know
- 12:08Speaker 2: what the things are once needs and desires are, and
- 12:13Speaker 2: fulfill ourselves. And it's like and if we don't know how,
- 12:16Speaker 2: it's like learning how.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And it's interesting. I just had this conversation with a
- 12:23Speaker 1: potential client yesterday. He's came out he has an ex
- 12:29Speaker 1: wife and he had a recent breakup and he thought
- 12:37Speaker 1: everything was going well. But a reminder, and I have
- 12:43Speaker 1: to do this for myself as well. A reminder is
- 12:46Speaker 1: all relationships serve a purpose, and it doesn't mean they're
- 12:49Speaker 1: gonna last forever. And sometimes we when we're holding ourselves hostage,
- 12:56Speaker 1: we're also holding the other person hostage. So maybe it
- 13:02Speaker 1: is courageous making the choice to move in a different direction,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and then the unknown of well, what's next, it's not
- 13:14Speaker 1: for us to know. It's just to be like, Okay,
- 13:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna open myself up to what is next, and
- 13:19Speaker 1: that next could be absolutely amazing. So yeah, those reminders,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and it is it's scary, it's not. It's one of
- 13:31Speaker 1: those things easier said than done, and just you know,
- 13:37Speaker 1: pros and cons. If I stay, here's pros and cons.
- 13:41Speaker 1: If I leave, here's pros and cons. So it's just
- 13:44Speaker 1: weigh in the options and seeing what you feel maybe
- 13:48Speaker 1: the best decision for you, not only you as BEV,
- 13:52Speaker 1: but you as the audience.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Just.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the unknown is always a fear for people, as
- 14:02Speaker 1: always is and always will be. I have that sometimes
- 14:06Speaker 1: as well. I have the fear of getting a job. Well,
- 14:09Speaker 1: if I get a job, then I won't be able
- 14:11Speaker 1: to do X, Y and Z, I won't have as
- 14:13Speaker 1: much freedom. I won't and what's that going to look like?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Like I had to go through that whole process too,
- 14:19Speaker 1: just getting a job, and and then I had to
- 14:24Speaker 1: look at well what are the benefits. Well, I'm going
- 14:27Speaker 1: to be in the community more, I'll be helping people
- 14:31Speaker 1: in a different way. I had to go through all that,
- 14:33Speaker 1: So just taking an inventory of what's what feels good,
- 14:39Speaker 1: what doesn't feel good, so to speak.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and all that being said, I hear, I hear
- 14:48Speaker 2: you very well. I've been trying to put more focus
- 14:52Speaker 2: into myself because that's the opportunity for that.
- 14:55Speaker 3: But it's like I asked my cards, and my cards
- 14:57Speaker 3: keep showing me.
- 14:58Speaker 2: The same like like this is like temporary, this is whatever,
- 15:02Speaker 2: and it's like it's I don't know what to do
- 15:05Speaker 2: in the temporary area, even if it is temporary or
- 15:09Speaker 2: not temporary. I think a big part of me feels
- 15:13Speaker 2: like there's a massive shift happening and I have no
- 15:17Speaker 2: control over it.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Because we're all changing.
- 15:20Speaker 2: But what it is guiding me into more is my
- 15:22Speaker 2: divine feminine is to realize is to go into that space,
- 15:25Speaker 2: because I haven't done that, So I'm exploring it. I
- 15:28Speaker 2: think I've talked about maybe once or twice, but not
- 15:32Speaker 2: really sitting in it and exploring it. So it's really
- 15:36Speaker 2: looking into that space. The other night, we were having
- 15:40Speaker 2: a conversation here at the house and it was brought
- 15:43Speaker 2: to my attention about how my tones could come across
- 15:46Speaker 2: quite harsh as a teacher or whatever, almost forceful, and
- 15:51Speaker 2: so I'm so much more open now. So I sat
- 15:55Speaker 2: and of course I like to have the conversations, and
- 15:58Speaker 2: so I sat with him and listen to what he
- 16:01Speaker 2: had to say about it. And then the way that
- 16:03Speaker 2: I interpreted it was it's me stepping into my divine feminine.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I've been in my masculine for so long, even still
- 16:11Speaker 2: that I try to gravitate back towards that because that's
- 16:14Speaker 2: my stability. That's what I knew to keep myself safe.
- 16:18Speaker 2: But I also recognize now I don't have to keep
- 16:21Speaker 2: myself safe anymore because I'm protected anyways.
- 16:25Speaker 3: That gives me goosebumps. See, that's the whole thing. A
- 16:28Speaker 3: lot of the stuff that.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I if I was talking about that it's time for
- 16:33Speaker 2: me to go, I have him in getting goosebumps. If
- 16:35Speaker 2: I've talked about it's time for me to stay, I'm
- 16:37Speaker 2: not getting goosebumps, you know what I mean. There's such
- 16:40Speaker 2: a neutral place there, so it's like that it's something
- 16:43Speaker 2: different than maybe what.
- 16:44Speaker 3: I think that it is. And it's just kind of
- 16:47Speaker 3: learning how to walk this path because this is so
- 16:50Speaker 3: unfamiliar to me. The divine feminine so unfamiliar to me.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Because that's being nurturing and loving and vulnerable. And I
- 16:59Speaker 2: feel like in my relationship I have been very vulnerable.
- 17:02Speaker 2: But I've also know that my child has kind of
- 17:05Speaker 2: run the show a lot of times because the child knows,
- 17:08Speaker 2: you know, just knows these feelings or these this. I
- 17:11Speaker 2: just don't like this, I don't like this, and she
- 17:13Speaker 2: wants to have her temper tantrum. But I know that
- 17:15Speaker 2: I can't have that temper tantrum because what it does
- 17:17Speaker 2: is it only pushes the other person away.
- 17:19Speaker 3: So it's me finding ways to look within self.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I've got several books that I'll go in and look
- 17:25Speaker 2: at her right and it's something I love to do.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I might even grab a book and just close my
- 17:30Speaker 2: eyes and ask spirit to guide need to what I
- 17:32Speaker 2: need to need to see in that book right now,
- 17:34Speaker 2: and I'll flip through and I'll feel like it stops.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It feels like the page kind of sticks right there,
- 17:39Speaker 2: and I look in there and it's like it's the
- 17:40Speaker 2: perfect message.
- 17:42Speaker 3: One of the things that came forward to me for me.
- 17:44Speaker 2: All for all this stuff was rejection, which of course
- 17:47Speaker 2: is that goes with abandonment as well, but it's another
- 17:49Speaker 2: form of things. So it's just I'm just saying all
- 17:53Speaker 2: this stuff because that's what I'm experiencing. I'm trying to
- 17:57Speaker 2: muddle my way through it. But I do have a
- 17:59Speaker 2: lot of tools that I can gravitate towards, and I
- 18:02Speaker 2: have a lot of friends that I can talk to
- 18:04Speaker 2: a handful of friends, and to me, that's probably more
- 18:06Speaker 2: than I ever had in my whole life because I
- 18:09Speaker 2: didn't stay in any where, any one place for very
- 18:12Speaker 2: long because I partied a lot. So most of my
- 18:15Speaker 2: friends came and went. If they were still in the
- 18:17Speaker 2: physical body, that's awesome. Most of them probably weren't.
- 18:20Speaker 1: So I just keep going though it's not it's it's
- 18:30Speaker 1: the opportunity to learn and grow and take another step. So,
- 18:37Speaker 1: whether it's in your case, relationship and in my case
- 18:41Speaker 1: a business that it's been my mantra my entire life,
- 18:49Speaker 1: keep going, Just keep going, Just keep going. And it
- 18:53Speaker 1: sucks absolutely like you said, it sucks ass like it.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Just there are days you just don't want to get
- 19:01Speaker 1: out of bed, and I get that. There were days
- 19:03Speaker 1: I was super depressed and didn't want to get out
- 19:05Speaker 1: of bed. But luckily for me, my spirit was stronger
- 19:11Speaker 1: than I was and kept me going because there were
- 19:16Speaker 1: bills to pay, there was a child to take care of,
- 19:19Speaker 1: there were things that had to be done, responsibilities adult
- 19:22Speaker 1: or responsibilities that had to be done. So I had
- 19:24Speaker 1: to keep keep showing up, which as you know even today,
- 19:30Speaker 1: that shows up for me, and just keep going, which means, yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 1: you went and got a job and you had to
- 19:37Speaker 1: make some adjustments within yourself and within you your environment
- 19:41Speaker 1: and such, and now you can do it again. It's
- 19:49Speaker 1: like relationships, well, now you get to nurture another one
- 19:52Speaker 1: and see how that turns out and see whether it's
- 19:56Speaker 1: first well, first and foremost it should be that relationship
- 19:59Speaker 1: with yourself. So every relationship gives us the opportunity to
- 20:04Speaker 1: see where we have within ourselves, the opportunity to grow.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Meaning it takes two to be in a relationship and yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: the other person has their baggage and yeah, you have
- 20:24Speaker 1: your baggage too, And if it doesn't work out, then
- 20:29Speaker 1: it's like, Okay, what am I feeling? What am I sensing?
- 20:33Speaker 1: What are my thoughts like? And for you, like you're saying, rejection,
- 20:37Speaker 1: rejection and abandonment. It's been huge for me with relationships
- 20:43Speaker 1: and then that in between relationships, it's an opportunity to
- 20:47Speaker 1: sit and go, Okay, this is what I sense, this
- 20:50Speaker 1: is what I feel, this is what I experience. This
- 20:52Speaker 1: is you know, you just lay it out, like you said,
- 20:55Speaker 1: with pen and paper, get a big old whiteboard, who cares,
- 21:00Speaker 1: Just something that where you can get it externally from
- 21:03Speaker 1: your head out in front of you so you can
- 21:07Speaker 1: look at it and go, Okay, a rejection is an
- 21:09Speaker 1: issue for me, And what's what's the issue with rejection?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Why am I hanging on to this story? What? What
- 21:16Speaker 1: am I feeling when I'm when I'm feeling rejected? What
- 21:20Speaker 1: brings up? What comes up in me? What what memories
- 21:23Speaker 1: come up for me? So it's just a whole process.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And Bev, I know you know all this and maybe
- 21:29Speaker 1: it's just a reminder, but just speaking to the audience
- 21:31Speaker 1: with all this is is relationships are an opportunity for
- 21:37Speaker 1: ourselves to grow. And this is going to be continuous
- 21:42Speaker 1: to the rest of your life unless you decide to
- 21:45Speaker 1: be a hermit in a cave and never talk to
- 21:47Speaker 1: anybody ever. Ever. Ever, as long as you're around people,
- 21:51Speaker 1: every person is an opportunity to help you grow in
- 21:55Speaker 1: one way or in another.
- 21:58Speaker 2: And I like everything that you said. I like that
- 22:00Speaker 2: you said it's a representation of myself. Really, it's a
- 22:04Speaker 2: representation of the relationship I have with myself. And I
- 22:07Speaker 2: agree with that because I haven't had the best relationship
- 22:10Speaker 2: with myself, not even knowing how to have a good
- 22:13Speaker 2: relationship with myself.
- 22:15Speaker 3: So I mean that's like a huge part. Yeah, So
- 22:19Speaker 3: that's probably the part.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah, for me lately for a while now, it's been
- 22:24Speaker 1: disappointment and again focusing on other people. This person disappointed me,
- 22:29Speaker 1: that person disappointed me is like, okay, well we keep
- 22:33Speaker 1: showing Well, first of all, showed up and yeah, I
- 22:36Speaker 1: know it's there, but not really internalizing it or processing it.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And then it keeps showing up over and over and
- 22:40Speaker 1: over again. It's showing me something. So what's the disappointment
- 22:46Speaker 1: in me? Well, I'm very disappointed in myself for allowing
- 22:50Speaker 1: myself to get into so much debt, and that stems
- 22:54Speaker 1: from other belief systems that I've had to work on
- 22:57Speaker 1: and change. I'm disappointed in myself. I haven't been to
- 23:02Speaker 1: the gym in over a year. I haven't done any
- 23:05Speaker 1: body consistent body movement and such, which means my eating
- 23:11Speaker 1: habits I have habits haven't been that great. So like,
- 23:14Speaker 1: just the disappointment in the external environment is a reflection
- 23:18Speaker 1: of the disappointment I'm feeling in myself. But I'm not
- 23:21Speaker 1: internalizing or wasn't internalizing it as self disappointment. Although I
- 23:29Speaker 1: am aware of it, I wasn't linking how much I
- 23:36Speaker 1: didn't realize how much I was disappointed in myself. And
- 23:45Speaker 1: so yesterday and I had to go to the grocery store.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, I got to start somewhere because
- 23:54Speaker 1: here we are starting again, which is okay. I just
- 24:01Speaker 1: sat with chat GPT and I'm like, give me some
- 24:06Speaker 1: easy recipes for you know, some some foods that I liked,
- 24:12Speaker 1: So the meat and the vegetables and all that. Give
- 24:15Speaker 1: me some easy recipes that are quick, give meal prep
- 24:18Speaker 1: and and start with my eating habits. I have time
- 24:22Speaker 1: for that. I can fit that into my schedule. So
- 24:26Speaker 1: so I started there, went to the grocery store, got
- 24:29Speaker 1: a bunch of vegetables, already had the meat in the freezer.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So I'm good. So now today as after we're you know,
- 24:36Speaker 1: done recording, that's part of my thing today is prepping
- 24:40Speaker 1: some of those meals and then my next step will
- 24:46Speaker 1: be start incorporating moving my body more. So I'm just
- 24:51Speaker 1: it's and it's okay, take these baby steps in my business.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Right now. What can I handle? Probably one zoom class
- 24:58Speaker 1: a month. That's probably what I can definitely fit in.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I know maybe too, So you know it's not a
- 25:08Speaker 1: for me right now, it's not a I'm just going
- 25:10Speaker 1: to dive in today and change everything. No, it's a
- 25:14Speaker 1: where can I start? And what's at least one baby
- 25:17Speaker 1: step I can take right now? And you take the
- 25:21Speaker 1: step and you move, because what, yeah, what damages us
- 25:29Speaker 1: is when we don't move, when we stay stuck, when
- 25:31Speaker 1: we keep you know, rolling in the mud and staying
- 25:35Speaker 1: stuck in the quicksand and we're just there and we're
- 25:39Speaker 1: floundering around like a fish out of water. Where's floundering
- 25:42Speaker 1: around because we can't we can't get ourselves to do anything.
- 25:46Speaker 1: When you got you have to take step, got moves
- 25:48Speaker 1: in some direction in order to help anything change.
- 25:53Speaker 2: And one thing with all the stuff that's happening for me,
- 25:56Speaker 2: I don't I hardly sleep at all now. I mean
- 25:58Speaker 2: I might get a couple hours of sleep a night,
- 25:59Speaker 2: and I'm good with it. But I'll I get up
- 26:03Speaker 2: and I might go meditate, I might do several meditations.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I might come in channel right, I might come in
- 26:10Speaker 2: do a card reading. There's so many things that I'm
- 26:12Speaker 2: doing now that I'm which is if I look at
- 26:15Speaker 2: it from a non victim space, it's an opportunity for
- 26:19Speaker 2: me to connect. It's a connect with spirits because that's
- 26:24Speaker 2: where it's I feel like I'm being guided. Anyways, I'm
- 26:28Speaker 2: so glad we're having this conversation today. Honestly, it's it's
- 26:31Speaker 2: it's nice to have these perspectives because it's because I
- 26:36Speaker 2: have been on the move, like I do. I go
- 26:38Speaker 2: out and I'll go hike the hill and it takes
- 26:40Speaker 2: me maybe fifteen minutes, and I'll come back and I'll
- 26:43Speaker 2: come do some kettle bills, and I've got my big
- 26:46Speaker 2: whiteboard and I've got my list of things that I'm
- 26:48Speaker 2: going to do that I know are good for me.
- 26:50Speaker 3: And some of it's like.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Practicing going onto YouTube and finding me belly dancing, like
- 26:55Speaker 2: finding how to how to connect with my feminine body.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Some of the stuff is like the crea yoga, but
- 27:02Speaker 2: also it's Kundalini yoga because it's very important because that
- 27:05Speaker 2: connects you with the body, the sensulness of everything. So
- 27:09Speaker 2: it's like there's so many different things. I have an
- 27:11Speaker 2: opportunity now. So I'm setting me sitting and maybe watching
- 27:14Speaker 2: a bunch of videos or sitting and matching whatever he's doing,
- 27:19Speaker 2: because not knowing what to do with myself, it's helping
- 27:22Speaker 2: me step onto my own path to explore all these
- 27:25Speaker 2: things I've got a guitar you bought me a few
- 27:27Speaker 2: years ago. I've tuned it a couple of times, that's
- 27:30Speaker 2: about it. I've sat with it and listened to the
- 27:32Speaker 2: tone this a couple of times, but I haven't really
- 27:34Speaker 2: explored playing it. So there's all these different things that
- 27:39Speaker 2: are opportunities for me right now. And so I guess
- 27:44Speaker 2: early in the conversation would have been if anybody's watching,
- 27:47Speaker 2: it would be me being more in that almost a
- 27:50Speaker 2: victim space to be honest with you.
- 27:52Speaker 3: And now I'm in the space of.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Because we've had the conversations and it's reigniting or reminding me.
- 27:57Speaker 2: I feel more empowered and I feel like I'm stepping
- 27:59Speaker 2: into like.
- 28:01Speaker 3: What are you talking about.
- 28:02Speaker 2: You've got all these opportunities to do all these things,
- 28:04Speaker 2: and you can do it right now. You're in a
- 28:05Speaker 2: safe place. There's nothing. I mean, I'm safe here. I've
- 28:09Speaker 2: got a roof over my head, I've got food, I've
- 28:12Speaker 2: got my dogs.
- 28:13Speaker 3: You know, I've got all this stuff that's here. And
- 28:15Speaker 3: he's still here.
- 28:16Speaker 2: But it's like it's it's a it's just from a
- 28:18Speaker 2: different view of viewpoint now and if I and also
- 28:22Speaker 2: spirit told me just recently. If I didn't, if it
- 28:25Speaker 2: wasn't happening this way, I wouldn't be growing the way
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm growing right now. It has to happen this way.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Still stucks, ass, but it has to happen this way.
- 28:36Speaker 3: It just does. So now the next video will even
- 28:40Speaker 3: be that much better.
- 28:42Speaker 1: And we know that when we move through things like this,
- 28:44Speaker 1: I seem very heavy that when we get on the
- 28:46Speaker 1: other side of it and look back, then the beauty
- 28:50Speaker 1: of it, the benefits of it, the gift of it,
- 28:53Speaker 1: was all worth it. Yeah.
- 28:57Speaker 2: So, and it's a constant gauge letting me know where
- 29:00Speaker 2: I'm at, where I'm at energically in that moment. Am
- 29:03Speaker 2: I being in a victim? Or am I being in
- 29:05Speaker 2: a frequency that doesn't feel good to me?
- 29:07Speaker 3: Because I can. I can change I'm the one that
- 29:09Speaker 3: makes the choice to change it.
- 29:10Speaker 2: It's not something outside of me that's supposed to do
- 29:13Speaker 2: a trick or something and make me all happy and
- 29:14Speaker 2: bring me back up.
- 29:15Speaker 3: It's it's totally up to me.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yep. And that was that was the end of
- 29:23Speaker 1: my conversation with this potential client, was I can give you, your
- 29:29Speaker 1: other friend can give you, and other people can give
- 29:32Speaker 1: you all the tools in the world, like we could
- 29:34Speaker 1: just lay it all out for you, but until you
- 29:36Speaker 1: do something with it, nothing's going to change. Hammer doesn't
- 29:41Speaker 1: work if it's just laying there like it's true, you
- 29:46Speaker 1: gotta pick it up and do something. So you got
- 29:49Speaker 1: to pick yourself up. Really, you have to pick yourself
- 29:52Speaker 1: up and do something different. So yeah, and give yourself
- 30:03Speaker 1: permission to know that right now, where you're at, you're okay.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I have to do that for myself as well. Give
- 30:10Speaker 1: myself permission right here where I'm at in this body
- 30:15Speaker 1: altll overweight, you know, lack of movement, still have debt,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I'm still I'm okay. I'm really even with all of
- 30:26Speaker 1: that package. My life is one hundred times better than
- 30:29Speaker 1: it was. So where you're at, you're okay. And if
- 30:38Speaker 1: you want it to be better or different, then you
- 30:43Speaker 1: gotta take You have to make the movement so and
- 30:46Speaker 1: nobody can do that for you. I know again, Bev,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I know you know that I'm speaking in general to
- 30:52Speaker 1: the audience that and it's it's a reminder for myself
- 30:55Speaker 1: when I say things like this, I'm reminding myself too,
- 30:59Speaker 1: so I do listen. When we have these conversations. I
- 31:02Speaker 1: do listen when I'm coaching somebody. I listen when I
- 31:05Speaker 1: when I'm having a class. What is touching me as well?
- 31:10Speaker 1: Where I'm like, oh yeah, I needed to hear that too.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And so we're all okay with where we're at. All
- 31:19Speaker 1: of us matters, We're all loved. And now what are
- 31:28Speaker 1: you gonna do? Right? What am I going to do?
- 31:30Speaker 3: Now?
- 31:31Speaker 1: What direction do I want to move in? Get a plan,
- 31:34Speaker 1: start something, write something down on a piece of paper
- 31:38Speaker 1: like Bev has stuff written on her board. I have
- 31:41Speaker 1: things written down on my a in a notebook. What
- 31:45Speaker 1: are the things you want to do? And then start
- 31:46Speaker 1: creating that plan. And again, like I used chat JBT,
- 31:51Speaker 1: it's an AI platform. Use an AI platform to help
- 31:54Speaker 1: you create that plan. I can tell I can tell AI.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I have a full time job where I work forty
- 32:01Speaker 1: to fifty hours a week. I have a home life
- 32:05Speaker 1: I take care of. I want to reignite my coaching business,
- 32:12Speaker 1: and I want to change my eating habits, and I
- 32:15Speaker 1: want to start moving my body more. And give it
- 32:18Speaker 1: some information. Then say okay, create a plan that works
- 32:21Speaker 1: for me within and you give it timeframes, time slots
- 32:26Speaker 1: like give it as much information as you can't, and
- 32:29Speaker 1: it will lay out a plan and you will be
- 32:31Speaker 1: shocked because you alone in your humanness, with your blinders on,
- 32:39Speaker 1: because you're so stuck in your head. This will just
- 32:42Speaker 1: open things up and you will feel a sense of
- 32:44Speaker 1: reliefe like, oh yeah, I can do that. That's doable,
- 32:48Speaker 1: but it took something outside of you to get that
- 32:51Speaker 1: accomplished and help you see it. So so utilize the
- 32:55Speaker 1: tools that are available to help you make changes. And
- 33:00Speaker 1: even if it's listening to other podcasters or books or
- 33:04Speaker 1: hiring a coach, the purpose of coaches is to help
- 33:09Speaker 1: you do things quicker. And you're not paying for the
- 33:13Speaker 1: information they have because you can get the information anywhere
- 33:16Speaker 1: on the internet, even through AI, like you can get
- 33:19Speaker 1: the information anywhere. What you're paying for is the time
- 33:23Speaker 1: that they are giving you to help you move faster.
- 33:29Speaker 1: That's what it is. You're not paying me for my
- 33:31Speaker 1: information because access to that is everywhere. You're paying me
- 33:37Speaker 1: for my time because my time I can't get back.
- 33:41Speaker 1: So my time is valuable. So it's like I'm going
- 33:44Speaker 1: to set aside time specifically for somebody. That's what you're
- 33:48Speaker 1: paying for. So keep that in mind. If you decide
- 33:53Speaker 1: that you're going to go hire a coach and they say, well,
- 33:54Speaker 1: here's my price and this is the package. Remember what
- 34:01Speaker 1: you're actually paying for. I'm gonna stop there. Awesome, all
- 34:11Speaker 1: right friends. Do you have any final words? Bev?
- 34:14Speaker 3: I would just.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Say that when things are feeling so heavy, find the
- 34:17Speaker 2: people that you can't talk to and reach out.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Don't just try to do it all by yourself.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Yep.
- 34:22Speaker 2: It's good that you're reiterating things that I do already
- 34:25Speaker 2: know about, because I still need to hear them sometimes,
- 34:28Speaker 2: because sometimes we can get lost in our stuff and
- 34:30Speaker 2: we forget all that stuff because it's it's there's a
- 34:34Speaker 2: lot of emotions that are involved.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Yeah, awesome, all right, friends, this is a tea time
