- 0:04In this political coliseum, we slay the rising beast with the big resort of truth that transcends hypocrisy and censorship.
- 0:16It's time to unleash yourself from the tyrants of media propaganda on the America Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
- 0:26This is Unleashed the Political News Out.
- 0:32You're listening to Unleashed the Political News Hour, and I'm your host, Mayor Deb.
- 0:39In the 1952 movie, High Noon, Gary Cooper is the sheriff about to leave town when a gang of killers returns.
- 0:50And when the sheriff tries to round up deputies to help him stand up against these killers, the townspeople refuse to help.
- 0:59And what would happen then is if nobody wants to stand up to this gang, that gang would then take over and rule the town.
- 1:09So the sheriff goes on to face the shootout in the street.
- 1:12And after he kills the leader of the gang, he throws his marshall badge in the dirt as a sign of contempt for the townspeople who won't stand up for law and order.
- 1:26And then he proceeds to leave town.
- 1:28Now, what I just read is an intro of a recent article that was written by one of our contributors here on America Out Loud, Michael McCarthy.
- 1:41And I asked Michael to join me uh today to talk about this article and how that movie from 1952 ties into current events of 2026.
- 1:57Michael, thank you so much for joining me today.
- 2:01Thanks for inviting me.
- 2:02Yeah.
- 2:03Well, I think you know where we're gonna start here.
- 2:06Uh we're going to start off with the City of Waters, otherwise known as Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- 2:13And uh what has just been in the news almost daily with the ICE immigration customs enforcement uh coming in to the city and taking out individuals who do not have uh the appropriate, I guess I'll say citizenship.
- 2:35So I want to hear from you uh what prompted you to, I guess, first to write this article, other than maybe watching the the news every day.
- 2:47Well, it just struck me that uh what's happening is we were the Democratic Party is encouraging this culture of lawlessness, and of course, if what happens is they've welcomed in and brought in these illegal aliens, by definition they're illegal.
- 3:05So if I was an illegal alien and you robbed me, I would feel like, well, I can't call the sheriff or the police chief because I'm illegal.
- 3:14So therefore, uh I either tolerate other illegals robbing me, um, robbing, raping, murdering, uh, or I take the law into my own hands.
- 3:24And of course, you have this tribalism, these gangs, uh, whether it's Somali gangs or uh uh South American gangs or what have you, who become the de facto law and order and this gang warfare and so forth.
- 3:38So it occurred to me that that's is exactly what's happening across our nation, but most vividly in uh Minnesota and Minneapolis, where the people who are part of this war culture are actively preventing, not just refusing to help, but actively preventing these ICE agents who are kind of like the sheriff, uh the sheriff's deputies, if you will, uh trying to keep the killers from taking over the town.
- 4:09Well, if they do that, um, what we're gonna end up with is this wild west uh culture where it's every man for himself, everybody better wear a gun and be looking over your shoulder because you you never know when somebody's gonna come in and um rob rape and murder your family.
- 4:31Uh and so it's a very precarious existence.
- 4:35All right.
- 4:36So I I've asked this of other guests, and I want to get your opinion.
- 4:40Um, you know, over the past, uh, the previous administration, let's say there has just been this uh open border policy, basically.
- 4:50There seems to have been a uh mass number of individuals who have crossed over in to the U.S.
- 4:59And it almost seems to me that that has been by design to somehow infiltrate uh the United States.
- 5:09And one of the theories is perhaps to, you know, uh create a Democrat voter base permanently and therefore then control all future elections with a Democrat being the winner.
- 5:26And so I'm just wondering in your mind, because I know you do a lot of reading and you and you keep up with what's happening.
- 5:33Do you think that those open borders were simply a mistake?
- 5:38Um, or do you think that that was done by design?
- 5:44Well, I I come down, and this is my opinion.
- 5:48I don't have uh total proof on this, but my opinion is that yes, it was done by design, and for the reasons you just outlawed that they were importing people that they assumed would then vote for the Democratic Party who sponsor them and who enacted this policy of ignoring our laws, laws that are on the books, there is a legal way for you to enter this country.
- 6:13There's a legal way for you to become a citizen.
- 6:16Um by ignoring all that and bringing these people in, they thought, oh, well, we'll have a bunch of new voters.
- 6:24But with our usual lack of common sense, they ignored the fact that what I referred to earlier that if you bring in people who are illegal, they are afraid to abide by the legal laws of our country.
- 6:39They won't report things to the police, and therefore you have this culture of lawlessness where our own citizens are going to be subject to these violent people from from across our borders, uh, who are gonna feel like it's we've got carte blanche to rape robur, because the Democratic Party said no, you you can't be arrested for that.
- 7:08All right.
- 7:09And I want to just get into you term these uh individuals, and I and I think it's uh, you know, a bit of a tongue-in-cheek, you turn them as elfs, um, educated liberal females, protectors of killer illegals force street shutdowns with ice agents using their automobiles as weapons.
- 7:32Uh, and so I'm curious how you came up with that acronym, elf.
- 7:39Well, that acronym was not original for me.
- 7:42I saw it uh on several uh commentators, other commentators have coined that acronym because that seems to be a fair description of uh most of the street protesters you see that seem to be predominantly educated liberal white women.
- 8:02Um I just saw a post on Substack from a black man saying, you notice there's not a lot of black people out here at these uh protests against these illegals because we're having to live with the illegality and the crime also.
- 8:16So it's the idea that we are the morally superior.
- 8:21We know more than you do.
- 8:24The other nickname they used to have was Karen's, they want to wag their finger at you and tell you what to do.
- 8:30Um that these people have to decide they're above the law or they can make up their own law.
- 8:39And I'm afraid they're gonna find out the hard way that if you protect people with a lot of criminal elements who are pre predisposed to rape, rob, and murder, that they're gonna end up on the other side of that with no police to appeal to.
- 8:59Yeah, and I I think that the biggest point that you know, everybody who I have seen reporting on this seems to forget that what you just spoke about.
- 9:10There is a way to come in to this country and to do it legally.
- 9:17And I have friends who have come in through this country legally.
- 9:22And yes, it is somewhat of a I'll call a headache because there seems to be my understanding, a lot of paperwork, uh, a lot of interviewing and time spent to get in to the country, but nonetheless, there are people here who have managed to do that.
- 9:42And I think the point I want to make is that if we say, well, there's there's rules for this group of people, but these people don't need to abide by it, what else then are we going to use that example towards?
- 9:59Um, I think.
- 10:00That when we apply rules uniformly and fairly, I think that that is really the basis of our founding documents for this country, such as the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
- 10:14And I think when we fail to support those documents, then we're going to really run into a big problem here or a bigger problem than we already have.
- 10:26Yeah, it's going to be, and it's already becoming mob rule.
- 10:30And when I can say, oh, I can make up my own laws.
- 10:33I'll decide what laws I'll obey and not obey.
- 10:35And then you decide, well, I'll I'll do the same thing.
- 10:38I'll decide what laws I want to obey.
- 10:40Well, then you and I are going to have a hard time being neighbors because I never know when you when you might attack me or rob from me or whatever, and we're going to be mutually suspicious as opposed to neighbors helping one another, such as helping shovel out our driveways after a snowstorm and that type of thing.
- 10:58Um because we're we don't we can't trust the other person to abide by the basic rules of our society.
- 11:06And by the way, one other quick comment.
- 11:08I several years ago, I happened to be uh for a wedding in um Charleston, um South Carolina, and before the wedding, I went to a public park, and it just so happened there was a big pavilion there, and they were holding a citizenship ceremony where it was about 150 people, and they were all being sworn in as citizens, and there was a judge at the podium, and it was a very moving ceremony.
- 11:36I mean, it brought tears to my eyes.
- 11:37All these people who had done the proper thing, they had studied the American history and constitution, passed the exam.
- 11:44Some of them had uh enlisted in our military, which also qualified them for citizenship.
- 11:51And then when they all raised their right hands and swore that they would uphold the Constitution of the United States, it was just so moving.
- 12:00But here are all the people doing it the right way.
- 12:02They wanted to be here and they wanted to obey the laws of the United States.
- 12:10And you know, I'm we're gonna jump on and talk about that point you just make because I think that's an excellent point.
- 12:17Um just what you said, they understand what it means to be a citizen in the United States.
- 12:24They understand the cultural history, the values, the laws, et cetera.
- 12:31And we're going to jump into a break now.
- 12:34But when we come back, Michael, I want to talk about that a little deeper.
- 12:39Stay tuned.

- 14:56No gimmicks, just real medicine trusted by top doctors.
- 14:59Go to TWC.
- 15:12All right, I want to pick up where we left off.
- 15:15Uh the United States citizenship and immigration services, uh, referred to as UCIS, actually has a 10-step process laid out to becoming a United States citizen.
- 15:32And in that, there is definitely a course of civic uh understanding.
- 15:40Uh, in other words, understanding the founding of our country and the foundation of our values.
- 15:51And I believe that that is such an important tool for anyone who is looking to become uh part of the United States, because I feel that without that understanding, uh, it's hard to go in a certain direction.
- 16:09Um, so if you don't have uh an understanding of history or of the past, you don't really know perhaps where you're coming from and then where you're going.
- 16:19Michael, what do you think about?
- 16:21You mentioned that you were witnessing this oath that was taking place in this park.
- 16:28Um, what are your thoughts on that and the importance of that?
- 16:33Well, I think it's very important because it's part of the assimilation process that you can understand the governmental system of the United States and your responsibilities as a citizen and your responsibilities to obey the law.
- 16:49And that with our system, if you think the law is wrong, then you ask your Congress person to repeal the law or change the law, but you don't unilaterally decide, oh, I'm just gonna ignore that law.
- 17:03And the reason that's so important is that we have a common basis of relating to these folks who become uh naturalized U.S.
- 17:15citizens because they understand the political system here.
- 17:19Uh it's a basis of trust.
- 17:22Uh a merchant in my little town can put out a rack of uh clothing out on the sidewalk and not worry about, well, is it all going to be stolen?
- 17:30They can put out a table on the sidewalk with some of their products and not worry about is it all going to be is it all going to disappear?
- 17:40Because they understand that there's laws about theft and you're expected to be a good citizen and respect that.
- 17:46So when people come in and they're illegal, they don't go through that process.
- 17:53They bring their culture from their home countries.
- 17:57And of course, that's what we've been seeing in Minnesota and Minneapolis with the Somali culture.
- 18:02In Somalia, nobody trusts the government.
- 18:05If you can rip off the government and steal money from them, well and good, that's a good thing to do.
- 18:10And of course, they brought that mindset with them to uh Minneapolis, and that's what they proceeded to do is find out how they can set up these phony daycares, phony hospice, phony this and that, and get all this uh uh taxpayer money.
- 18:28Uh and they don't feel like it's uh theft, or maybe even theft is accepted in their home country.
- 18:34I'm not sure one way or the other, but if they understood that they're stealing from you and me who worked hard for our money and pay our taxes, um maybe they would think twice.
- 18:47But of course, they haven't been through that citizenship program to become U.S.
- 18:52citizens.
- 18:53So they feel free to ignore that.
- 18:57Yeah, and you know, that is uh very problematic uh for those of us who are excuse me, law-abiding citizens and uh understand where we have come from over 250 years since things started and all of the wars that were fought uh for our freedoms, lives that were lost.
- 19:20And I can't help but think that not having at least a very basic understanding of that is just so detrimental to the future of this country.
- 19:32And I want to, you know, turn the page a little bit now and get back to these these elves, these educated liberal females.
- 19:41And uh one of the things that you write in your article is that um they insulate themselves from violent criminals in their gated communities.
- 19:54They think the violent illegals they protect will never harm them.
- 19:59And
- 20:00And I just want to take a moment, you know, there's been a lot of uh award ceremonies on lately.
- 20:06We had the Oscars, we had the Grammys, and I noticed that some of the uh attendees there were wearing these ICE out pins.
- 20:18And I can't help but think how ironic that is when every single one of them attending that event is living in their gated communities in their multimillion dollar homes and not venturing out for the most part without an armed security guard with them.
- 20:39And we see this also, this type of behavior with some of our higher elected officials.
- 20:45Uh, for example, with the governor of the state I live in New York State, uh, at any one given time, Governor Hochel is walking around with at least, you know, four to six armed individuals.
- 20:59So it's easy for her to say, you know, that people coming in who have records uh of rape and murder and all sorts of other things.
- 21:10It's easy for her to say, you know, don't worry, this is okay because she's going back to her gated governor's mansion with her six bodyguards.
- 21:23And the rest of us here just are really left to fend for ourselves and the safety of our ourselves and our families.
- 21:32Just so, and of course, eventually that would catch up to them.
- 21:36The hypocrisy here is stunning.
- 21:39Uh, if they say we want to have a sanctuary city, of course, I've a little bit later in my article, I say to them, if you really want to act on what you say you believe, uh become a sanctuary home.
- 21:53Take some illegals into your own home.
- 21:55Um, mayor Mondami in New York City, he could probably fit 20 or 30 illegals into Gracie Mansion, the home of the New York City mayor, and bring in some of these violent criminals into your own home and if you believe they should be protected and housed, and then see how that works out for you.
- 22:16Um this type of propaganda has been going on for so long that some people are just becoming ridiculously brainwashed.
- 22:27Uh, I just happen to see one of these women who I guess they're influencers or whatever who post on the internet.
- 22:36I saw one who said, I don't believe that anybody should be in jail.
- 22:42That's her personal belief.
- 22:44Then she said, I was gang raped by four or five men.
- 22:49They all raped me.
- 22:51However, I'm not going to report, and I know their names.
- 22:54I'm not going to report them to the police because reporting them to the police won't change the fact that I've been raped.
- 23:02And putting them in jail won't change the fact that I've been raped.
- 23:06So I don't believe in that.
- 23:08So I'm not going to report them.
- 23:10And of course, as other people who commenting on that were crypto point out, saying, no, it can't change what happened to you, but it could protect other women in the future from also being raped.
- 23:25So you're letting these carnivores, these predators loose on the rest of us because you don't want to jail them.
- 23:35That, you know, that's such a crazy comment that was made.
- 23:42And I think that a lot of it stems, I'm guessing this person was a younger individual.
- 23:49Just by the comment.
- 23:50I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that, because I've really noticed that not, you know, in all aspects of life, we seem to be raising a population of young people that are really only concerned about how it affects them.
- 24:09Um they are just, you know, it does it affect me.
- 24:13Um, you know, and if it if it doesn't affect them, they just don't seem very interested.
- 24:21And this is an example of that, you know, in the case that it affected her, but helping, I guess, to prevent it from happening to other people doesn't matter because she's just very much centered on me, me or I in that scenario.
- 24:41And it and it's just seems to be on all aspects of um these days.
- 24:46And I don't know where we're going wrong with that, but it's very concerning because I was raised in a in a world where, you know, yes, it's important to take care of yourself, but you should also look out to protect those around you.
- 25:02And uh, and if you can step in to help.
- 25:05And it and it's interesting because this could take us to a flip side of the point that we're trying to make here, because I do feel that the people who are out protesting feel this uh empathy towards these individuals who are being pulled off the street by ICE.
- 25:24And so let's look at it maybe from that perspective for a second, you and I.
- 25:29Um what if it was a different group of people that ICE was targeting?
- 25:38So let's say all of a sudden ICE is going to start targeting um conservatives for no reason other than we're conservatives, or let's take it a step further.
- 25:49Let's say ICE is going to start targeting Christians, right?
- 25:53And if you're a Christian, they're going to start showing up at your home, knocking on your door, pulling you out of your home because of your religious um standing.
- 26:05I would wonder if the same people who are out protesting for these illegals, if they would be out there protesting on our behalf if we were being targeted for being Christians.
- 26:22What do you think of that?
- 26:24And this is just a hypothesis I'm throwing out there, but let's talk about that for a second.
- 26:31Well, I think they wouldn't uh speak up to protect us from Christians from being persecuted, for example, because we you know current events are running ahead of us.
- 26:43We can forecast these bad things, and then they've already happened.
- 26:47There is that church invasion up in Minneapolis, which was a Christian church, and they felt like, hey, we have the right to go in there and disrupt their church service and make them feel guilty because they are uh white people who are practicing Christianity or praying.
- 27:05Well, they want to impose their views on the rest of us.
- 27:10And of course, that's gonna sooner or later turn around and and um abide them in the you know what, as the saying goes, uh, what goes around comes around, that if we're living in the wild west, the lawless West, uh it can come around to where it you too uh get persecuted.
- 27:30And if we look at the history of uh communism, for example, and in Soviet Russia, uh, once the revolutionaries gained control, they started turning on one another because they wanted to be the absolute dictator.
- 27:46Um and so we we find out some of the most ardent revolutionaries uh got stood up in front of a wall and executed.
- 27:56Um that's happening now, and it becomes mob rule.
- 28:00The latest thing I've I saw uh within the last day or two is these people in Minneapolis have set up their own roadblocks and are checking your license plate.
- 28:11They've got access, I guess, to the DMV license to see, are you uh um an ICE agent or something?
- 28:18Well, this is mob rule.
- 28:20What if I was pulled over and somebody said, well, he kind of looks like somebody I saw on TV with the mask on who might have been an ICE agent.
- 28:29Well, now we're gonna have again the wild west vigilante mob rule.
- 28:34Are they gonna come lynch me on the nearest tree?
- 28:37Are we gonna have nooses?
- 28:39I mean, because they're acting outside of the law.
- 28:43This is what we're coming to.
- 28:45Well, yes.
- 28:46And if if that is indeed happening, I am all for um sending in the federal government because I I can't believe that citizens are setting up roadblocks and you know, scanning uh license plates.
- 29:01I think that that has gone way too far.
- 29:04But I also want to just get back to that point.
- 29:07You know, let's say that ICE were persecuting Christians and doing the same thing, coming to our doors, uh picking us up at our workplaces and arresting us, taking us to a detention facility.
- 29:23I would think that the same people who are out protesting right now are talking about it being a constitutional violation.
- 29:33Well, clearly, if they were taking Christians, that too would be a violation of the freedom of religion, uh, which is also in the constitution.
- 29:43Yes.
- 29:43So I I just can't help but wonder, and and I think to your point, I think I I know the answer.
- 29:50And the answer is no.
- 29:51I I don't think they would be out there protesting because I think that the majority of the left feels that anybody who is a Christian.
- 30:00Christian is automatically tagged as being a conservative and or a Republican.
- 30:06And that is the troubling part because I think once again, when we have a document like the Constitution and it's not applied fairly and uniformly, and we start cherry picking when or how or who it's going to protect, that is the beginning of the foundation crumbling of our nation.
- 30:31Exactly.
- 30:31And the mob rule were there's no trial, there's no evidence.
- 30:35The mob decided somebody's yilty, so we're gonna throw a rope over the nearest tree limb and string him up.
- 30:41That is what is starting to happen with these roadblocks.
- 30:44I mean, they haven't killed anybody yet.
- 30:47However, the other news item, I'm sure you've seen it also, is that these nurses groups have said, hey, if we find out anybody under our care is uh MAGA republican, uh, we'll just change out what's in the hypodermic needle and either paralyze them or that they're hinting that they would actually kill.
- 31:10Well, now think about the trust that destroys.
- 31:14You and I right now assume that if we whatever had a heart attack or something and call 911, and the ambulance took us to the hospital, that we would get um the best nursing care, doctoral care, medical care.
- 31:28And of course, the ethos of the medical profession is first do no harm.
- 31:34Well, they're throwing that out the window, say, I'll do harm if I want to.
- 31:37If I don't like this patient, uh somebody told me that this guy uh writes for America out loud news.
- 31:44Well, heck, I'll just kill him and we'll just we'll say he died on the operating table, or he died from some unknown medical cause or something.
- 31:53Well, if I can't trust the nurses and doctors, well, then we got a really big problem, the breakdown of law and order.
- 32:01Yeah, and I will say I I think that what you just spoke about.
- 32:05I I have seen uh those those nurses saying it on a video, which I mean, you know, how stupid can you get, right?
- 32:13You're gonna you're going to make a TikTok video and you're going to put it on social media hinting around that you're somehow changing the liquid in a you know an injection for a patient based on their political beliefs.
- 32:27I mean, you know, let's let's just call it what it is.
- 32:30I mean, that's that's stupid, right?
- 32:32And it's murder.
- 32:33Yeah, and and it's murder.
- 32:35But on their part, I it's once again, I mean, the the critical thinking and the common sense of most people seems to have just gone out the window.
- 32:44And I think that really this distrust in the medical field uh had a birth during the COVID, the beginning of COVID when everybody was uh forced to, you know, this one size fits all healthcare approach.
- 33:02And I think what we're witnessing now is I think that in some respects, the people who uh fell into that are starting to wake up um and they're starting to maybe realize that, oh, I didn't really need this, did I?
- 33:19And uh I think that there are some uh regrets on their part, and perhaps some of them are handling it with this backlash towards uh the other side being, you know, the the conservatives.
- 33:33Um so anyhow, that's just my opinion on that.
- 33:38Right.
- 33:39Yeah.
- 33:40Um another speculation I've read online is that again, going back to these elfs, these educated liberal females, that um they're still biologically females, and there's still uh a maternal instinct.
- 33:56And if a lot of them uh are childless, uh they're turning that maternal instinct on these illegals.
- 34:04Um but it's misplaced because you're acting maternal towards somebody who's a rapist or a murderer or a thief, and you're nurturing a criminal.
- 34:17So what are you gonna get more of?
- 34:19More criminality.
- 34:20More people robbed, and more people murdered, more people raped.
- 34:24Um so that misplaced uh maternal instinct.
- 34:31Yet another motivation I have read.
- 34:33Now, this is all speculation, you understand.
- 34:37Yes, it sounds plausible, but plausible doesn't mean it's necessarily true.
- 34:42Uh is that because we've become uh a largely secular society where people are not believing in a religion, whether it's Christianity or anything else, but they still have a need for meaning in their lives.
- 34:59And since there's no longer a religious meaning in their life, they look for a cause, and right now the cause is all this woke propaganda.
- 35:07And so instead of attending a church service, they go to a mass protest meeting where they can wave signs around and say instead of singing a hymn together in church, they're all chanting no ice out on the streets.
- 35:21So that serves as a sort of a spiritual substitute.
- 35:25So that's another possibility of the motivation behind some of these elfs.
- 35:31Oh, that's a those are two great uh things to consider and think about.
- 35:36Uh let's take a break, and when we get back, we'll pick up where we left off.
- 35:41Stay tuned.
- 35:42You wouldn't go a day without brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
- 35:45What about washing your nose?
- 35:47I mean, your nose does filter the air you breathe, air loaded with bacteria, viruses, and irritants.
- 35:53Make nasal hygiene part of your routine with clear.
- 35:56No messy bottles to fill, no drowning sensation.
- 35:59Clear is a natural drug-free saline with the added benefit of xylitol, which blocks bacterial and viral adhesion available in stores and online at clear.com.
- 36:09That is XLEAR.com.
- 36:12Have you been looking for a healthy snack for on the go?
- 36:16Well, not all energy bars are soft and sugary.
- 36:19Bear bars are a crunchy savory bar made from just six simple natural ingredients.
- 36:26Bear bars or plant-based, organic gluten-free contain six grams of protein and are low temperature dried for unique crunch.
- 36:35Most energy bars are based on chocolate or fruit and are held together with syrups or sweeteners.
- 36:42To learn more, just visit barebar.com/slash outloud.
- 36:49I'll never before has our American cultural, economic, spiritual, and political fabric than more threatening.
- 36:57Well, the America most of us have grown up with a relentless and pernicious siege from those carrying the banners of socialism, communism, and Marxism.
- 37:08America allowed.news is the antidote to these poison is America out loud.news is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outloud truth.
- 37:30So I think where we're at right now, Mike, is that we need to take a look at what we're doing and use our constitution as a compass to put us, you know, in the right direction and get us back on track, really.
- 37:49And I want to just read something, and I know you're familiar with this.
- 37:53Um, it is a quote by Pastor Martin Niemuler.
- 37:57And he wrote, um, first they came for the communists, and I did not speak out because I was not a communist.
- 38:04Then they came for the socialists, I did not speak out because I was not a socialist.
- 38:08Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.
- 38:14And then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
- 38:18Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out from me.
- 38:23And I want to just tie that back in to what the scenario uh that I mentioned earlier about, you know, we have these um ICE taking people out of Minneapolis and throughout the United States right now.
- 38:40And uh people are protesting that, they're crying foul, they're saying it's a constitutional violation, which I believe is being heavily debated right now whether or not it is or isn't.
- 38:53And I posed a fit fictitious scenario of let's say ICE was starting to persecute and then take Christians uh and detain them.
- 39:03I asked the question, would the same people protesting for the illegals be out there protesting for us?
- 39:11And I guess I'm just trying to get people thinking about the quote that I just wrote.
- 39:19Are we going to get to a point where different groups are being persecuted and those who are protesting or standing up for them changes based on political biases?
- 39:36I believe you're right about that.
- 39:38And um because we are not hearing some of these same people who claim to stand up uh for rights, uh, for example, they they're standing up for that woman who got killed by the ice agent in Minneapolis.
- 39:55Um, but there's probably a dozen women who've been killed by.
- 40:00Illegal aliens with big criminal histories.
- 40:05And they did not stand up and protest about that.
- 40:08So if you apply the law equally, we're all equal under the law, that should be what they would protest about also.
- 40:20But we're not seeing that.
- 40:21So again, if they don't protest that, when the time comes when they may be somebody's pointing the finger at them, there'll be nobody left to speak up for them.
- 40:34And as I referenced in the past segment about the Russian revolutionaries, like Trotsky, for example, he was hunted down and murdered by Stalin's agents after he was the big uh partner with Stalin and bringing about the Russian revolution in Soviet Russia, communist revolution, I should say.
- 40:54Uh this type of thing starts to happen because when there is no rule of law, anybody can accuse anybody of anything.
- 41:04Uh and then if the mob rule is, okay, we've we've just decided they're guilty.
- 41:09No evidence, no day in court, no rules of evidence.
- 41:13We just we all agree.
- 41:15And then there's that peer pressure to go along with the mob.
- 41:19So that's the danger that we're headed for, whether it's uh Christians or any other group.
- 41:26Well, and I I saw a lot of that finger pointing start during COVID.
- 41:31And I will just reference Don Lemon for a second.
- 41:35Um quoted as saying we don't need to listen to those people who are not getting the vaccine who are speaking out against it.
- 41:48Um he was basically, you know, saying that we should just all go along and get along without any type of questioning of the science that was being unveiled at that time.
- 42:03And I think it's ironic because now here we are in 2026, and uh he was arrested at that uh church in Minneapolis for for his actions.
- 42:18Uh yeah, just so he, of course, in that case, he uh he's entitled to his day in court also.
- 42:25Uh and the actions would be did he actually participate in that and start screaming at people in the church along with the other protesters, or was he quietly standing to one side and recording it and taking notes uh to be a reporter?
- 42:42So it's the difference between reporting and participating that we're looking at there.
- 42:49And when reporters cross the line from reporting to participating, um, then we have to apply the same standard to them as anybody else.
- 43:00If I'm a reporter and I was tipped off that somebody's going to rob the bank at uh two o'clock this afternoon, and I go down there and I want to report on it and film it or whatever, that might be one thing.
- 43:14But if I'm in there helping the robbers scoop up the money out of the cash tills, then I'm participating in the crime.
- 43:21I'm not just reporting it.
- 43:23Yeah, and to be uh very concise here, because I I always like to have my receipts.
- 43:30Um, in September 2021, uh Don Lemon was uh pushing back on people who would not get the shot.
- 43:40And he said, you don't have to listen to a minority of people who are being harmful to the greater good and who are not acting on logic, reason, and science.
- 43:52So I just think it's really ironic that um back then he said what he said, and today all of a sudden he seems to um, you know, the old rules for thee, but not for me.
- 44:04And maybe this would be rules for then, but not for now in his scenario.
- 44:10Um, so I'll just I'll leave that there.
- 44:12But I want to now get into um these ICE detention centers a little bit, since we're talking about um the individuals who are protesting for the people who will be going to these detention centers.
- 44:26Um the government has put forth roughly 45 billion B billion dollars for these immigration detention buildings.
- 44:37And uh currently there are 23 sites that are proposed, 23 warehouses throughout the United States.
- 44:47Um what I what I found ironic about that um is that many of the locations of these detention centers are in Republican leaning areas.
- 45:00Um so I think that that's an interesting point.
- 45:02I'm not sure what what that means or why that is.
- 45:06But the other interesting point is all 23 sites are also near these uh Walmart processing uh areas, and and maybe that's not the correct term, what they call them, but the big uh facilities that Walmart owns.
- 45:23Warehouses.
- 45:24The warehouses, yes.
- 45:26Um, so just you know, something to maybe keep an eye on, and um, you know, I I'm gonna keep doing some research on it because I do find that fascinating that we're spending that much money, 45 billion dollars on this uh illegal detention buildings or or warehouses in this case.
- 45:48And I guess, you know, the other point of that is is that we're spending that money, that is just for purchasing these facilities.
- 45:57That doesn't include outfitting them for what they're going to need if they're keeping people, such as you know, a water system, a sewage system, um, internal rooms, um, bathrooms, uh, cots, bedding, whatever, you know, food facilities, all of the above, um, that is not part of that 45 billion dollar price tag.
- 46:20Um, so I don't know what people think about that who are listening, but I think that is an awful lot of money uh to be spending.
- 46:29And I just wonder, um, I just wonder about that.
- 46:34Well, I this is the first I've heard of it, and I agree with you, that's an awful lot of money to be spending.
- 46:40And I question what what if if these are people who are illegal, the operative word is deport, not keep them here, not warehouse them here, but deport them here.
- 46:54So that a fraction of that money, uh, you could charter cruise ships, load these people on the cruise ships and send them back to South America or back to Somalia or wherever they came from, uh, and that would be the to me the true meaning of the word deport or deportation, not just housing them here in the United States, because I think that's asking for trouble at some future date, um, if they're all still here.
- 47:24Well, well, yeah, and I guess how you know, as as human beings, nobody wants to be detained, nobody wants to be put into a facility.
- 47:35And I guess I just go back to the poem I read, or the the quote that I, you know, or maybe it's a little bit of both, it's a poem and a quote together, but you know, so today we're detaining these individuals in these 23 sites, these warehouses.
- 47:53Um, who's to say a year, two years from now we wouldn't be detaining another group of people?
- 48:00And I guess I'm asking the question: are we crossing a line?
- 48:05Are we crossing a line that is becomes now uh somehow obscene or inhumane in the way that we are treating people?
- 48:17And um, I would think that if I were here in this country, and this is just me, if I had a choice to go back or be housed in a warehouse for an undisclosed amount of time, you know, I may pick the the lesser of those two evils, and maybe it is going back to my country.
- 48:40And I guess it would just depend on a case-by-case basis what country that person came from, and perhaps what the state of that country is today to make that decision.
- 48:51But I'm just posing this out there as a question to people to think about.
- 48:55You know, we we sit here and we have you know, our homes and our amenities, um, and we have our family, and you know, one day could that be taken away for a reason because we don't fit the um narrative or we fit the next class of individuals who are going to be persecuted.
- 49:17And it's something we should all be thinking about and asking the question um today as opposed to a later date when it might be too late.
- 49:27Well, I agree, that is something to think about because as you say, um, it could be used to turned against us by the next administration, they flip the script and say, now all you Christian conservatives, we're going to put you in these detention facilities.
- 49:42And it would remind us of the uh Russian gulags who uh sold the Russian writer Solzan Yetzin wrote about in the Gulag archipelago that if you're an undesirable, you're shipped off to Siberia to work in these freezing conditions as slave labor.
- 49:58Um, but that could
- 50:00Very well be true.
- 50:01Whereas if the only transgression is these people are here illegally, you send them back to where they came from.
- 50:09They're not they're guilty of a crime of coming into this country illegally, and that's the only crime we need, or the only evidence we need to send them back.
- 50:19But to house them somewhere indefinitely, then somebody's going to say, well, wait a minute.
- 50:24Have they had a hearing?
- 50:25Have they appeared before a judge?
- 50:28Do they have a trial by jury of uh jury of their peers and that sort of thing?
- 50:33Well, they're not American citizens, so they're not entitled to any of that.
- 50:37But we're asking for those questions to be to be asked if we start housing people indefinitely as opposed to just deporting them.
- 50:48Yeah.
- 50:49And I and I am going to post this article for people to look at in the link when this podcast goes on to the website, America Out Loud.
- 51:00The title of the article is Ice Begins Buying Mega Warehouse Detention Centers Across the U.S.
- 51:05It was written on January 29th, 2026.
- 51:09And uh it's on uh Bloomberg.com.
- 51:13And you know, it really is an extremely well written article that goes through what's happening almost with a fine tooth comb.
- 51:23I would encourage everyone with an earshot to listen to it, and then also to send it out to uh folks on your email list because if you read one thing um this week or this month, I strongly encourage you to read this article.
- 51:36And I guess, you know, the the part of this that really kind of you know has raised my um antennas is that uh, you know, there have been people who have died in these uh detention facilities, and more than 30 people have died in detention last year alone, which was the highest figure in two decades.
- 52:02And uh I just wonder, you know, that if the number of detainees goes up, the correlation is most likely that we may see that number go up as well.
- 52:15And uh once again, you know, we are human beings, and I just um, you know, I I'm concerned about what I'm reading in this overall article.
- 52:25And uh one more thing I want to point out to listeners is with the uh all of these 23 warehouses uh sites are also conveniently located to um Amtrak to train rails.
- 52:40And when I hear that, I just think about immediately I go back to you know to Germany in the 1930s and what took place there and how people were transported to these detention camps uh then and it just um maybe I'm reading too much into it, and I surely hope I am.
- 53:01But you know, I I like posing questions and I like people to think critically and look at the information that's presented, not just from one side, but from all sides.
- 53:12And I like to also try to put my shoes or my feet in others' shoes and think about what's happening from those perspectives as well.
- 53:22So that's why I offer up this conversation and for everyone to read this article.
- 53:27Good point.
- 53:28Yeah.
- 53:29All right.
- 53:30Well, we've got a couple minutes here, and uh, I want to get back to your article, which is also out there posted.
- 53:37Folks can find it on America Out Loud News.
- 53:40The author is Michael McCarthy.
- 53:43The title of this article is it's high noon in Minneapolis.
- 53:50Um did I get that right?
- 53:52The title of your article, Mike.
- 53:54Yes.
- 53:55Okay.
- 53:56Um so the article also, and we can wrap up with this point.
- 54:03Um, you talk about how this will end in your article.
- 54:09And we have seen the Trump administration talking about potentially having to send in uh the uh National Guard to come onto the streets.
- 54:22Ummediately, you know, I'm starting to think a step ahead.
- 54:26Will we see something like martial law then being put into place within these cities that are having these you know problems um taking place?
- 54:37And but you sent in um and you wrote in this article, I should say, something about you know, these sanctuary cities letting the people who want them actually just have what they're asking for without any outside help and see how things uh you know come to be then.
- 54:59Yeah, I mean, that was uh one possibility, and again, maybe it's maybe a step in that direction.
- 55:06That was a week or two ago.
- 55:08I wrote the article, and my latest thing I've heard that President Trump is saying, well, I'm not gonna send any help to any of these so-called sanctuary cities unless they ask for it.
- 55:19So he's gonna let them stew in their own juice, as my mother used to say, uh let them live with their own answers.
- 55:27I refer to the all these elfs love to talk about therapy.
- 55:31Maybe this is reality therapy.
- 55:33Uh they can live with their own answers and maybe learn something from it.
- 55:39Um extreme situation, uh, since, and again, these woke people up there uh staging these roadblocks and checking people, is that maybe I should just put a ring around the city, like a medieval siege where the surrounding army didn't attack, they just cut off the city from all outside influences.
- 56:06Well, sooner or later, the city runs out of food uh and they've got to surrender or whatever.
- 56:11So it could happen without actual fighting.
- 56:14Um maybe that's what Trump is taking a step toward to say, Well, if you want to be a sanctuary, um, good, you can have all the murders and rapes and everything.
- 56:24And of course, all the illegals from other parts of the country will flock to you.
- 56:30And so you'll end up with a disproportionate number of um criminal types in your city, and you'll you'll regret it.
- 56:40Yeah, well, the issue uh, you know, with that um is that I know that the people who have the means will eventually just pack up and leave the area.
- 56:50But unfortunately, those who don't have the ability to move, whether it's family or financial um or whatever, would be stuck uh in that hot mess.
- 57:01And and it would be a hot mess if that were to be the case.
- 57:05But all right, we are out of time, Mike.
- 57:09Um, I want to encourage everyone to take a look at your uh incredible thought provoking articles.
- 57:15You have uh many here on America Out Loud.
- 57:18Just go there, AmericaOutloud.news, Michael McCarthy is the author and contributor.
- 57:25And until next uh time, everyone, I just encourage all of you to be good to one another and God bless.
