- 0:40Speaker 5: seven of Busting with the Boys. Week seven of the NFL.
- 0:44Speaker 6: Is in the middle. Is over season. I mean we're
- 0:46Speaker 6: we're We're in the back half. This is peak, We're
- 0:49Speaker 6: in the back half Spootober. This is peak Halloween.
- 0:52Speaker 7: This is the week where you start turning on the
- 0:54Speaker 7: flicks getting the scares in. Obviously, everybody who's partaking in
- 0:57Speaker 7: Spooktover is doing it daily, but this, this is a tone.
- 1:01Speaker 5: This is the point in Spootober if you have been
- 1:03Speaker 5: following the rules of Spootober where you think to yourself,
- 1:07Speaker 5: I'm getting a little burnout. I'm a little I'm a
- 1:10Speaker 5: little tired.
- 1:10Speaker 6: Of the spooky movie every day, horror film every night.
- 1:14Speaker 5: This is when you listen to this show, you watch
- 1:16Speaker 5: this show, and you think that's the juice I needed
- 1:18Speaker 5: to keep going. Because as you're watching this, there's only
- 1:21Speaker 5: seven days left of Spootober. There's only one week. Next
- 1:26Speaker 5: week when we're watching the show, we will literally be
- 1:28Speaker 5: in the Spooktober finale. Let's talk about what we're gonna
- 1:30Speaker 5: talk about this week on the Sorry Bust with the Boys.
- 1:34Speaker 5: We're into the weekend recap. We're talking about college football NFL. Obviously,
- 1:38Speaker 5: we'll do our good bad ugly segment, our twisted question,
- 1:42Speaker 5: our poopiest moment because we're in the first five minutes
- 1:45Speaker 5: of this episode, presented by Dude Wipes, and we'll also
- 1:47Speaker 5: do our direct TV overly direct take foot fun vibest
- 1:51Speaker 5: it and that's a big, big guest best quarterback on
- 1:57Speaker 5: the House State History. But as we are about to
- 1:59Speaker 5: start the show, well Confidence said he had a statement
- 2:01Speaker 5: to make.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Yeah, so I got an opening statement and it's, uh,
- 2:09Speaker 6: I don't even know what you're gonna say, not even
- 2:10Speaker 6: like that. All Yeah, everybody who shows up every week.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Here's how the Bust with the Boys brand is operating
- 2:16Speaker 7: on a weekly basis. Because the bulk of our audience
- 2:19Speaker 7: listens to Bust with the Boys. Some may not know
- 2:21Speaker 7: that Bet the Bus comes out every Wednesday in the
- 2:24Speaker 7: morning at nine am. I believe slips and picks five
- 2:27Speaker 7: hundred slips and Picks. Our NFL Gambling show comes out
- 2:31Speaker 7: every Wednesday in the afternoon or every Thursday in the afternoon,
- 2:34Speaker 7: so joining us are busting audience who's here each and
- 2:36Speaker 7: every week, the tier ones, the ones who see us
- 2:38Speaker 7: at the Farmers Market out and about doing the things,
- 2:41Speaker 7: tapping us up, saying hey, we love your content.
- 2:43Speaker 6: The boys, We have our fun. Our Bus with the
- 2:45Speaker 6: Boys flagship.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Show is as you guys are viewing it right now,
- 2:49Speaker 7: Bet the Bus College Football gambling.
- 2:51Speaker 6: It is a this is a high reward system going on.
- 2:54Speaker 7: We are at we have a monster winning season ahead
- 2:57Speaker 7: of us, or that we've had so far. But Bet
- 3:00Speaker 7: the Bus our College Gambling Show comes out on Wednesdays
- 3:03Speaker 7: Wednesday morning, and our Slips and Picks NFL Gambling Show
- 3:07Speaker 7: with Delaney Walker comes out on Thursday afternoons. That's all
- 3:11Speaker 7: I wanted to get out, just so people understand the tempo.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Do you want to talk about the structure of any
- 3:16Speaker 5: of those shows, specifically, Bet the Bus.
- 3:20Speaker 6: Bet the Bus high energy.
- 3:21Speaker 7: We got five or six picks that make you money,
- 3:23Speaker 7: We get you paid, We get you laid.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Slips and Picks.
- 3:26Speaker 7: This is you want to set up the Slips and
- 3:28Speaker 7: Picks what the boys bring to the table.
- 3:29Speaker 6: Yeah, slips and picks.
- 3:30Speaker 5: If you love pit, elevator pitch, if you love locker
- 3:32Speaker 5: room vibes, and you like to make money on the
- 3:34Speaker 5: weekend when you're watching your favorite NFL teams, this is
- 3:36Speaker 5: the show to watch. You have three people that played
- 3:38Speaker 5: multiple years in the NFL. I think we're over thirty
- 3:40Speaker 5: years of experience. When you look at us, how Mady
- 3:42Speaker 5: Delaney get fourteen thirteen? He got like thirteen fourteen.
- 3:45Speaker 6: Yeah, we're over. Yeah, we're over thirty. We're over thirty.
- 3:46Speaker 5: We're road plus years. Six Pro bowls total between the
- 3:49Speaker 5: three of us, So a lot of insight, a lot
- 3:51Speaker 5: of ins and outs. Are going to see. The records
- 3:52Speaker 5: this past week don't necessarily reflect that. However, if you
- 3:56Speaker 5: look at our weeks before week seven, it is we've
- 3:59Speaker 5: been knocking out of the park.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Elevator opened, great, you finish that up perfect, make sure
- 4:04Speaker 6: check it out. Make sure today it's just subscribing his card.
- 4:07Speaker 5: One thing you don't need a card for ever, dude,
- 4:09Speaker 5: that you don't ever have to have a car for this,
- 4:10Speaker 5: because you know it's the most durable, liable vehicle on
- 4:12Speaker 5: the road. And that's a Chevy Silverada.
- 4:14Speaker 6: Dud.
- 4:14Speaker 5: There's a new family fun supple Grit and they are
- 4:16Speaker 5: the official partners of Busting with the Boys, and that
- 4:19Speaker 5: is the Chevy Silverado ZR two. Will I need you
- 4:22Speaker 5: to talk to me about the ZR two for just
- 4:23Speaker 5: a second. But I see you rolled up at that thing,
- 4:25Speaker 5: and every time I see you in the parking lot
- 4:27Speaker 5: or wherever we might be, whether we're out of a
- 4:29Speaker 5: pumpkin patch or a farmer's mark, I think, damn, he's
- 4:31Speaker 5: at the best looking vehicle.
- 4:33Speaker 6: I tell you what, the ZR two does. Fire me up.
- 4:35Speaker 7: I was getting his service last week and the guys
- 4:37Speaker 7: who were kind of you know, just switching the oil
- 4:38Speaker 7: out and everything else, They're like, hey, you like this truck.
- 4:40Speaker 6: I was like, dude, I love this truck. They're like,
- 4:42Speaker 6: this is the most badass vehicle.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Like as fire as me out because I think he's like,
- 4:46Speaker 7: I'm gonna try to get my wife talked around and
- 4:48Speaker 7: see if I can go get one. He's like, but man,
- 4:49Speaker 7: look at this thing like it looks like it rides
- 4:51Speaker 7: like a dream, and it very much does. The Chevy
- 4:53Speaker 7: Silverado's ZR two. I know there's a family of them now.
- 4:56Speaker 7: There's a fleet of them. Now, what is that? The
- 4:59Speaker 7: multimatic DA SSV dampers, rug and mud terrain tires and
- 5:02Speaker 7: up to fourteen and these are incredible fourteen available camera views.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Because when you're buying a new vehicle, when you first
- 5:11Speaker 5: get it, you're so nervous about Hey, it's a bigger truck.
- 5:14Speaker 5: I'm so used to maybe having a sedan or something
- 5:16Speaker 5: like that, dents, turning corners, too hard, getting that tire
- 5:20Speaker 5: up on the curb. When you have fourteen cameras on
- 5:24Speaker 5: your vehicle, yeah, video, margin for air, You've got, you
- 5:27Speaker 5: got everything helping you out, and that's going to keep
- 5:29Speaker 5: that vehicle looking nice every single week. Will did talk
- 5:31Speaker 5: about this. The Silverado Heavy Duty ZR two joins the franchise,
- 5:35Speaker 5: making the ZR two the only truck brand with a
- 5:38Speaker 5: full full lineup of trucks ready for wherever your offered
- 5:41Speaker 5: adventure takes you.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Do us a favor.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Head over to Chevy dot com and check out Chevy
- 5:44Speaker 5: Silverado and the Family of Chevy ZR twos, the official
- 5:47Speaker 5: truck of busting with the Boys. Yeah, dude, hell of
- 5:52Speaker 5: a first statement, because it is one of those things
- 5:54Speaker 5: where people need to go check out bet the bus
- 5:56Speaker 5: and slip some picks. That is that's that's a nice deal. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 5: I mean JP, first of all, the entire team. You
- 6:03Speaker 5: got Big Brain Mitchie back there, who feeds the data feeds.
- 6:06Speaker 5: He's the data we put together, you know, great great
- 6:10Speaker 5: concepts of why each team will win. But JP works
- 6:13Speaker 5: his tail off to produce like that is a very
- 6:16Speaker 5: entertaining show. And I'm trying to you know, you try
- 6:18Speaker 5: and push the audience there and slips and picks. I mean,
- 6:20Speaker 5: that's like it's one of the more favorite things to
- 6:22Speaker 5: do of the entire week.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Because Delaney comes in. Delaney brings a dynamic and a wrinkle.
- 6:27Speaker 7: Hear that outside, Yeah, that base is bumping brother sounds
- 6:30Speaker 7: like I used to have a nice little system in high.
- 6:32Speaker 4: School, did you.
- 6:33Speaker 7: But uh, Delaney brings an awesome dynamic that just makes
- 6:36Speaker 7: it fun. So we just want to make sure the
- 6:37Speaker 7: audience is aware because they might not know, and that's
- 6:40Speaker 7: on us.
- 6:41Speaker 6: If they don't on us, that's on us.
- 6:42Speaker 5: It's our job to promote our shit. Yes we're past
- 6:46Speaker 5: five minutes, correct, it's our job to promote our ship.
- 6:49Speaker 5: But it's not just JP and Big Brain Mitchie come
- 6:51Speaker 5: with the information. When you follow us on social media,
- 6:54Speaker 5: you're hearing a beautiful voice, and that voice comes from
- 6:56Speaker 5: Jackie McPherson in the back does a great job back.
- 6:59Speaker 6: There, and custom ads as well.
- 7:01Speaker 5: When you look at the custom ads and you see
- 7:03Speaker 5: us doing dumb, dumb stuff all the time, you're like,
- 7:04Speaker 5: what shit, let me let me, let me finish the structure,
- 7:07Speaker 5: let me finish dament. When you see us doing dumb
- 7:09Speaker 5: stuff all the time, you're, oh, that's actually pretty funny.
- 7:11Speaker 5: They made something out of nothing right there. That's Jackie's
- 7:13Speaker 5: beautiful brain coming in. It is.
- 7:15Speaker 6: It's truly a team effort. The boys are really really
- 7:17Speaker 6: getting it together.
- 7:18Speaker 7: Soy quoty McPherson, he's always got the quotes. And I know,
- 7:21Speaker 7: I know, I don't get to do bed the bus
- 7:23Speaker 7: this week, but I know the boy Jackie's gonna need.
- 7:27Speaker 7: I'm gonna need him to deliver a hot, steamy quote,
- 7:30Speaker 7: especially coming off a tough loss.
- 7:33Speaker 5: I know, are we our weekend recap?
- 7:37Speaker 6: I was bummed.
- 7:38Speaker 7: I was truly fired up to see you tweeting like
- 7:41Speaker 7: I because I'm watching It's it's on during the Husker game,
- 7:44Speaker 7: so I'm watching the Husker game and I'm kind of
- 7:45Speaker 7: following you on Twitter because I'm like, oh, damn, Tennessee
- 7:47Speaker 7: must be playing. I'm checking the school, I'm checking the app.
- 7:50Speaker 7: I'm thinking, oh shit, like they are taking care of business.
- 7:53Speaker 7: And then in the second half, it just you know,
- 7:55Speaker 7: you guys don't Yeah, I imploded.
- 7:57Speaker 5: What better way to start a weekend recap than with
- 7:59Speaker 5: Jackie talking about his weekend. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll jump
- 8:03Speaker 5: into more college football and NFL, But Jackie, take us
- 8:04Speaker 5: through your emotions, brother spooky spoo tober.
- 8:07Speaker 6: Yes, the weekend, I.
- 8:09Speaker 8: Mean, I guess for Yeah, for the Tennessee game, first
- 8:11Speaker 8: half was really fun. We're firing defense, playing well and
- 8:15Speaker 8: man right now, came out and just yeah, lady goosegg,
- 8:20Speaker 8: they came back.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Our coach just outplayed us. That's pretty much it.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I don't have too much to say about it.
- 8:26Speaker 7: Post player press conference right there, that's somebody that's someone
- 8:30Speaker 7: you like to see. We got out, well, maybe not
- 8:32Speaker 7: out coach, I don't think. I don't know if you
- 8:33Speaker 7: want to say, probably get real nice. Yeah, that's a
- 8:35Speaker 7: great that's a great postgame press.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Or jack Yeah, it was it was tough.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Uh.
- 8:39Speaker 8: The biggest takeaway though, from it up until last year
- 8:43Speaker 8: when Tennessee finally beat Outavama for something sixteen years. The
- 8:47Speaker 8: rivalry was obviously there, but there it was.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It was long, what's the word.
- 8:51Speaker 8: I'm before lulling, big big, And so now after the
- 8:57Speaker 8: last two years, even though a really poor second half
- 9:00Speaker 8: from the walls, it does feel like the rivalry is
- 9:02Speaker 8: reignited and like there's a lot more passion in the game.
- 9:05Speaker 8: So that's a positive spin on it, obviously. I I
- 9:09Speaker 8: actually fully blame our loss on Chase Smith, one of
- 9:12Speaker 8: my friends.
- 9:13Speaker 6: He cut a cigar at halftime.
- 9:16Speaker 7: Oh oh, is he the woman in the pocket?
- 9:19Speaker 8: That was some random guy like JP tweeted that it's
- 9:22Speaker 8: like where else he supposed to store a cigar? JP
- 9:24Speaker 8: tweeted that guy, buddy literally keep my buddy literally opened
- 9:29Speaker 8: the cigar, cut it at halftime. I was so so
- 9:33Speaker 8: mad at him, on him, I literally told him to
- 9:36Speaker 8: crumple it up. He goes one hundred dollars cigar. I go,
- 9:38Speaker 8: I don't care, fucking get rid of it right in
- 9:42Speaker 8: front of him. The loss doesn't go on coaching, It
- 9:45Speaker 8: doesn't go on on plays and players. It goes on
- 9:47Speaker 8: my friend who is in Nashville watching the game. Who
- 9:50Speaker 8: cut a cigar at halftime?
- 9:52Speaker 5: I'm assuming he watches the show.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he's definitely clip.
- 9:57Speaker 6: Yeah, this needs to be clipped.
- 9:58Speaker 7: This needs to come on your twis like tomorrow when
- 10:01Speaker 7: this gets clipped, screen record that part and be like,
- 10:03Speaker 7: here's the accountability for Tennessee even before.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Tomorrow to stay up tonight. Yeah, dude, it is.
- 10:09Speaker 9: Uh.
- 10:09Speaker 6: You you brought up a.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Good point about the rivalry being reignited between Tennessee and Alabama,
- 10:14Speaker 5: and that's truly how I feel about Michigan and Ohio State,
- 10:17Speaker 5: because yeah, before before two years.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Ago, we this is ginda. I mean, that's really beat them.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Twice in twenty years, and it was like it's the
- 10:25Speaker 5: biggest rivalry in sports.
- 10:26Speaker 6: It's the game. It really wasn't the game.
- 10:28Speaker 5: It was like Ohio State essentially beating up on us
- 10:31Speaker 5: and then and moving forward. And so it is nice
- 10:35Speaker 5: when you're able to catch at w and you can
- 10:37Speaker 5: feel the anticipation of that game coming the third week
- 10:40Speaker 5: in October type vibes, guys are getting after it's gonna
- 10:43Speaker 5: be you know, it's gonna be that that for you guys.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Then obviously we're the third week in November. So it is, uh,
- 10:48Speaker 5: that is a deal. I sympathized with that.
- 10:51Speaker 6: How was your spooky weekend?
- 10:53Speaker 5: It wasn't as spooky as I would have liked it
- 10:55Speaker 5: to be. Head a new farmers market on Saturday, A
- 10:58Speaker 5: new one. Yeah, there's a new one down on a
- 11:00Speaker 5: Charlotte on Charlotte Pipe.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Yeah, over right by Turnip Truck.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Right by Turnip Truck, across the street from cool stuff
- 11:06Speaker 5: weird things.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 5: And so we went and checked that out, got there,
- 11:09Speaker 5: like the back half, and it's cool. I think I
- 11:12Speaker 5: like that setup. It's a little more like and I'm
- 11:14Speaker 5: not gonna say run down, but definitely like pop up.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Like there's not like a like Franklin factory.
- 11:19Speaker 6: It's begging.
- 11:20Speaker 5: They do it so well there built for that, yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 5: built for that. And this is kind of like it's
- 11:23Speaker 5: in a puts it up more community vibe, more of
- 11:28Speaker 5: a community vibe you can see like, uh, definitely that
- 11:31Speaker 5: hipster you know, Charlotte Pike vibe everyone's kind of into.
- 11:35Speaker 5: And then there's a little playground. Went there, the kids
- 11:36Speaker 5: whip around there a little bit and then grab a
- 11:38Speaker 5: couple of pumpkins. On Sunday when fishing with the kids.
- 11:40Speaker 5: So that was a that was a nice little vibe,
- 11:42Speaker 5: that little family vibe. I was stuck to the TV
- 11:45Speaker 5: a little more than what I would have liked based
- 11:48Speaker 5: on my bets on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday went way
- 11:52Speaker 5: better than Sunday.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Wayne, stuck to the TV more than you like with
- 11:56Speaker 6: your I.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Was just I just caught myself kind of you know,
- 11:58Speaker 5: kids were hanging out stuff, and I would like meander
- 12:01Speaker 5: over to my man cave and kind of just watch
- 12:02Speaker 5: the games for twenty thirty minutes and then kind of
- 12:04Speaker 5: come back. And you know, sometimes when it's the weekends
- 12:06Speaker 5: and as we travel as much as we do, you
- 12:08Speaker 5: don't like to be away from the family. Like when
- 12:11Speaker 5: you're with the family, you should be a little more present. Yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 5: that's where I got to give myself coaching. You look
- 12:15Speaker 5: in the mirror a little bit and like, hey, brother,
- 12:16Speaker 5: when you get the weekends, this time for ball. But
- 12:18Speaker 5: you can catch up on the re ruds. The bets
- 12:20Speaker 5: are placed, gonna win me or not. Yeah, So let's
- 12:22Speaker 5: get let's get back to some family vibe.
- 12:24Speaker 7: I tell my family it's worked. It's Daddy's Daddy's gotta
- 12:26Speaker 7: go to work.
- 12:27Speaker 6: I saw it, but you were moving.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Let's put you down for a nap. My wife about Oh,
- 12:30Speaker 7: she just took it. Now, let's put it down for
- 12:32Speaker 7: a note now, third nap of the day. No, it
- 12:35Speaker 7: was a good noon. It was a good weekend. Saturday
- 12:37Speaker 7: is always a packed morning. We got Ruth's swim lesson.
- 12:41Speaker 7: We went to Franklin Farmer's Market and then we went
- 12:44Speaker 7: to Gentry Farms, which, by the way, Gentry Farms is
- 12:47Speaker 7: a vibe. It is our first time going. I know,
- 12:50Speaker 7: I don't know how long they've been doing it.
- 12:52Speaker 6: But wool very much.
- 12:55Speaker 7: I'm talking like people. Yeah, hundreds, hundreds go there. Awesome,
- 12:59Speaker 7: they get about four to six of those hay rides
- 13:03Speaker 7: going now, corn maize just they have absolutely every every
- 13:08Speaker 7: type of thing to do in the backyard with the
- 13:09Speaker 7: animals all around you that you can think of. But
- 13:12Speaker 7: it was a it was a great time. That was
- 13:13Speaker 7: a good time. Got home just in time. All I told,
- 13:16Speaker 7: I told my wife as long as we're back, as
- 13:18Speaker 7: long as we're back by one thirty, I'll be ready
- 13:21Speaker 7: to go because the Husker's playing. And then when the
- 13:22Speaker 7: Huskers are playing, it's all Husker ball.
- 13:24Speaker 6: And then at night.
- 13:24Speaker 7: We got to catch the dub for Husker volleyball. Husker
- 13:27Speaker 7: Volleyball took down the number one team in the country, Wisconsin,
- 13:30Speaker 7: So now we are the big dog in the in
- 13:32Speaker 7: the country.
- 13:34Speaker 5: Sunday. What do we do on Sunday? Oh, we went
- 13:37Speaker 5: on a hike. We went on anice little hike Sunday.
- 13:39Speaker 5: We also brushed over your Saturday running two miles.
- 13:41Speaker 7: So I got it in my good to bad the
- 13:42Speaker 7: ugly splitting around there. We'll bring it back to life.
- 13:45Speaker 7: But yeah, hit an ice little family hike. What's the uh?
- 13:49Speaker 7: What's one of those lakes? Starts with an R? Radnor Lake?
- 13:52Speaker 7: Hit a hit a nice little two and a half
- 13:54Speaker 7: mile hike around Radnor Lake, a family walk, nature walk,
- 13:57Speaker 7: whatever you want to call it. But it was a
- 13:59Speaker 7: good time. We had a very good weekend. Made pizza
- 14:01Speaker 7: together last night. That's nice. You know, get the crust
- 14:04Speaker 7: you're doing it all or trying to get rude or
- 14:05Speaker 7: like put the cheese on. But then she sees to
- 14:07Speaker 7: spread around the cheese, so she wants to thinks she
- 14:09Speaker 7: wants to spread around cheese, only to get sauce all
- 14:11Speaker 7: over her hands and wiping our body. Roostuff doing that.
- 14:15Speaker 7: That's how you fucking do it. That's not how you
- 14:16Speaker 7: do it. Step aside, watch dad. But great time, great weekend. Yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 7: make the dough yourself. No, no, no, no, we buy
- 14:23Speaker 7: the crust. We we buy, yeah, we buy the croud.
- 14:26Speaker 7: I'm not as much of a Dozeman, you know what
- 14:28Speaker 7: I mean?
- 14:28Speaker 6: No, I get I get that.
- 14:29Speaker 5: I absolutely Tailing is on this new kick where she's
- 14:32Speaker 5: essentially a baker. Now she makes all of our bread.
- 14:35Speaker 5: She makes like muffins every day, she makes bread. She's
- 14:39Speaker 5: truly she's in that kitchen fucking working. She's getting after it.
- 14:42Speaker 5: It's impressive.
- 14:44Speaker 7: It is very like making a good batch of bread too,
- 14:46Speaker 7: like I see though as the sour dough, like as
- 14:48Speaker 7: far as.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Made baguettes on Saturday.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Yeah, so you get a.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Good baker like that's your you're winning in the baking
- 14:54Speaker 7: in the baking department. But yeah, we do structure everything
- 14:58Speaker 7: around ball, so it's all you know, we feel good
- 15:01Speaker 7: about it.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Yeah, Mitchie, how was your weekend? Buddy? Would you were
- 15:03Speaker 6: we have football back there? Look at them?
- 15:05Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:06Speaker 5: Actually I got you my good bet, the ugly number name.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I can't wait.
- 15:10Speaker 7: Don't talk about the game, you talk about your personal weekend.
- 15:13Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean Saturday, woke up like, well, knew I
- 15:19Speaker 10: wanted to watch the Ohio stay Penn State games. So
- 15:20Speaker 10: went over to my buddy's place, watched the game, and
- 15:23Speaker 10: then me and my roommate just vegged out on the couch,
- 15:26Speaker 10: ordered some pizza, order some food, and then actually the
- 15:30Speaker 10: spot right down the road Roma Paaraground's Pizza. It was
- 15:36Speaker 10: it was all right, right, we wanted to go, We
- 15:38Speaker 10: wanted to go to midnight, but neither of us wanted
- 15:40Speaker 10: to drive.
- 15:41Speaker 6: But so y'all went out on Friday.
- 15:44Speaker 10: Yeah, Friday night we went out, and that Saturday night
- 15:46Speaker 10: we chilled and then Sunday just laid around and watch
- 15:51Speaker 10: football a day.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Perfect weekend.
- 15:53Speaker 6: Yeah, it is a good weekend.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Isn't an interesting thing about like not being single, not
- 15:57Speaker 5: having kids?
- 15:58Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a different world.
- 16:00Speaker 5: It's a different world from the world because it is
- 16:02Speaker 5: not like that there's so much more of like an
- 16:04Speaker 5: organization and a structure. There's really no like seven twenty
- 16:08Speaker 5: is the most I can sleep into And then my
- 16:10Speaker 5: six year olds in my room, she wants to rip.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Sometimes I get a little lazy up pullo something on
- 16:13Speaker 5: the TV and I catch myself another thirty forty five minutes. Yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 5: you know, but that's every day. Every moment is like,
- 16:20Speaker 5: we're gonna keep going, We're gonna keep What are we
- 16:21Speaker 5: doing next?
- 16:22Speaker 6: What are we doing next? I want this? I want that. Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 6: it's an absolute fight out there sometimes.
- 16:26Speaker 7: Constant, constant, uh painting of expectations.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Yeah, let's let's hit let's talk about college football, talk
- 16:33Speaker 5: about NFL the ugly. You want to do good bad
- 16:36Speaker 5: the ugly. You want to talk about college football NFL.
- 16:38Speaker 7: Uh, it doesn't matter to me. I have college football
- 16:40Speaker 7: in the NFL and my good to bad the ugly same.
- 16:42Speaker 5: So let's just go good, bad, the ugly, and well
- 16:43Speaker 5: we'll touch on when we want to touch on as
- 16:44Speaker 5: we go.
- 16:45Speaker 6: All right, Uh, should we hit an ad first?
- 16:47Speaker 4: Dude?
- 16:48Speaker 5: Dude, Let's let's hit an AD because we know the
- 16:51Speaker 5: people get mad about the ads, but let's try to
- 16:52Speaker 5: make it fun.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Try to make it fun for the people.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Game Time app God to love the game Time, the
- 16:57Speaker 7: exclusive ticketing partner of Barstool Sports and bus with You
- 17:00Speaker 7: shouldn't have to worry when you're buying tickets to the

- 17:05Speaker 7: way to buy tickets for all sports and music and
- 17:07Speaker 7: comedy and theater events near you. Uh, for any type
- 17:12Speaker 7: of ad lib you think we should. I think we
- 17:13Speaker 7: should fluff this up. People who are watching this ad
- 17:16Speaker 7: read right now, like, maybe we get them a couple
- 17:17Speaker 7: of tickets this weekend to their game of choice, but local,
- 17:20Speaker 7: they have to be local. We're not like buying anything.
- 17:22Speaker 6: Else Tennessee tickets.
- 17:23Speaker 7: Whether it's no, yeah, but if somebody's in the comments section,
- 17:26Speaker 7: we got to give a little wrinkle to it. But
- 17:27Speaker 7: whoever wins, we buy them a couple of game time tickets.
- 17:31Speaker 6: I love that. Let's do that right now. Let's do
- 17:33Speaker 6: a giveaway.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Okay for the game time app Let's talk about Nashville
- 17:36Speaker 5: Tennessee Tennessee Titans. Right they're playing, They're playing the Falcons,
- 17:38Speaker 5: and they're wearing their oiler uniforms. Yes, for the first time,
- 17:41Speaker 5: this is a week for me. I'll get to me
- 17:43Speaker 5: in a second.
- 17:43Speaker 6: Say here, here we go, say, uh, the team the
- 17:47Speaker 6: game you want to go to, say something nice about
- 17:49Speaker 6: your team and put your Twitter handles so that way
- 17:52Speaker 6: we know to a DMU and we will pick one,
- 17:55Speaker 6: maybe two lucky winners out there.
- 17:57Speaker 5: So this can be predators. This can be Nashville s
- 18:00Speaker 5: this can be tything anything. Say some positive about your team,
- 18:03Speaker 5: leave a comment in the YouTube. Say something nice about
- 18:05Speaker 5: your team and get leave a uh, leave your Twitter handle.
- 18:09Speaker 5: And the beautiful part is people who are sticking around
- 18:12Speaker 5: for this ad read right now, they'll be the only
- 18:14Speaker 5: ones that kind of know it. That's a good that's
- 18:16Speaker 5: a good deal because with game Time, you know, last
- 18:19Speaker 5: minute prices at a fair deal. There's no hidden fees
- 18:22Speaker 5: or nothing like that.
- 18:22Speaker 6: Dude.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Uh, take the guestwork out of buying tickets with game Time.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Download the game Time app, create an account and use

- 18:34Speaker 5: Create an account and redeem code busting b U S
- 18:36Speaker 5: s i N for twenty dollars off. Now, if you
- 18:39Speaker 5: stuck through that that ad read.
- 18:41Speaker 6: Comment, leave the comment.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Yep.
- 18:42Speaker 5: If you just skipped you you just skipped a Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 5: you just you.
- 18:47Speaker 6: Know you can't rewind. You can't rewind. You can't rewind.
- 18:49Speaker 6: Can we take that off? Or you can't rewind?
- 18:52Speaker 7: No, No, we're just saying you can't rewind. Scout, what
- 18:56Speaker 7: is it scouts Scouts on her Let's get it the.
- 18:59Speaker 6: Good, the bad, the ugly. You want to go first,
- 19:01Speaker 6: one to go second?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Uh, kick it off, Kick it off, spread some good,
- 19:05Speaker 5: spread some cheers. So my good this week, obviously, my
- 19:09Speaker 5: first good is gonna be Michigan covering minus twenty five
- 19:13Speaker 5: and the over. For those of you who don't know,
- 19:14Speaker 5: the over was forty seven and a half. Michigan scored,
- 19:17Speaker 5: Michigan State scored zero points, and Michigan scored scored forty nine,
- 19:22Speaker 5: which was my big bet winner this past weekend. I
- 19:25Speaker 5: want to give a shout out to Dorothy Hoffner. She's
- 19:29Speaker 5: a Chicago native. She just broke the world record for
- 19:32Speaker 5: the world's oldest skydiver at one hundred and.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Four years old. Wow. Wow Flans.
- 19:36Speaker 5: The first thing she says, age is just a number.
- 19:40Speaker 5: And this is where I'll pivot back to Michigan and
- 19:42Speaker 5: Michigan State. Michigan State, the shadow uniforms did go hard.
- 19:45Speaker 5: I hated giving them comments. It is a big rivalry
- 19:47Speaker 5: and that's the school I.
- 19:48Speaker 6: Despise the most.
- 19:50Speaker 5: But their uniforms went super hard. We said this in
- 19:52Speaker 5: the beginning of the show. Spootober Finality finale is in
- 19:56Speaker 5: seven days. It's in seven days, and it's been a
- 19:59Speaker 5: hell of a month for all of us celebrating Spootober.
- 20:02Speaker 5: This is when you really put the pedal on the
- 20:03Speaker 5: gas and get going. Lamar Jackson twenty one of twenty seven,
- 20:07Speaker 5: three hundred and fifty seven yards and three tds, probably
- 20:10Speaker 5: his best passing performance in all of his career. I
- 20:13Speaker 5: didn't take time to look really into that, but that's
- 20:15Speaker 5: pretty damn impressive. That's pretty damn impressive. Miles Garrett two sacks,
- 20:20Speaker 5: stripsack fum before I believe a safety too, a field
- 20:24Speaker 5: goal block in the first half. That's just the first half,
- 20:27Speaker 5: gotta be. If we're talking about spooky, we're talking about
- 20:30Speaker 5: haunted characters. He is probably the scariest player in the
- 20:33Speaker 5: NFL right now, Yes, the way he's when you say anything,
- 20:36Speaker 5: Player of the Month, Spootober player of the Month.
- 20:38Speaker 6: I like that.
- 20:39Speaker 5: But the only person that might rival him in Spootober
- 20:41Speaker 5: Player of the Month is A. J. Brown five games
- 20:43Speaker 5: over one hundred and twenty five yards, tying Calvin Johnson.
- 20:46Speaker 7: That is big. I saw that stat. That is massive
- 20:49Speaker 7: for the boys, which for me breaks my heart. Arthur
- 20:51Speaker 7: wan Kenobi rip alright.
- 20:53Speaker 6: P because the Titians.
- 20:56Speaker 5: You saw what happened to their passing game the minute
- 20:57Speaker 5: AJ left completely different down the drain and that's just
- 21:02Speaker 5: absolute heartbreak hotel.
- 21:03Speaker 6: But that is my good for the way.
- 21:04Speaker 8: Yes, Jack, did you see the AJ Brown has more
- 21:07Speaker 8: yards in the entire Titans or shooting core combined.
- 21:11Speaker 6: I think he had the same thing last year this
- 21:13Speaker 6: time too.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 6: Anyways, that's more of like a just a beaten man
- 21:18Speaker 6: right now. Yeah, that's more of like.
- 21:19Speaker 7: A reminder stack, because I do feel like that's every year,
- 21:21Speaker 7: every week, like it's just poured on. We're just beat
- 21:24Speaker 7: you know, you're just at that point, you're just trying
- 21:27Speaker 7: to throw a salt on the wound for Tennessee fans.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Yeah, because that's tough. That is hard. My good.
- 21:33Speaker 7: I uh, just to piggyback with you, Lamar Jackson. Yes,
- 21:35Speaker 7: three td' is also a rushing TV. The dude bowled out,
- 21:39Speaker 7: He gets a lot of screwtiny. A lot of people say,
- 21:41Speaker 7: you know, now, they're trying to say, oh, he's just
- 21:42Speaker 7: a regular season QB. Let's wait to see him when
- 21:45Speaker 7: a playoff game. YadA, YadA, YadA. The boy to bounce
- 21:47Speaker 7: back after struggling a little bit the last two weeks
- 21:50Speaker 7: against the Steelers and a little bit with the Titans
- 21:52Speaker 7: bouncing back in a big way.
- 21:54Speaker 6: I will losing because fuck the Hawkeyes.
- 21:56Speaker 7: Uh, if we die, we Die shirts are on sale
- 21:59Speaker 7: if you're Nebraska fan watching right now. If we die,
- 22:02Speaker 7: we Die shirts are on sale in our store Barsol
- 22:05Speaker 7: sports dot com. Okay our stored off Barsol Sports dot Com.
- 22:08Speaker 7: Four slash bus with the Boys cany I pause you
- 22:10Speaker 7: real quick. Sure Will did a phenomenal job of putting
- 22:12Speaker 7: that together. On multiple cases, say Hey, which one do
- 22:14Speaker 7: you like more? And he literally had three samples. He
- 22:16Speaker 7: was going back and forth. He literally took the time
- 22:18Speaker 7: to put He put his heart and sole onto that
- 22:20Speaker 7: that shirt. So if you're a corn Husker, that's the
- 22:23Speaker 7: shirt to get. Oh, they'll be all over. We got
- 22:24Speaker 7: seventy going to Memorial this weekend. Hay Rides and corn
- 22:28Speaker 7: Maze has head. I recapped my weekend a little bit.
- 22:30Speaker 7: We had a great time on hay rides and going
- 22:32Speaker 7: through a corn maze. Travis Kelcey dating Taylor Swift. When
- 22:36Speaker 7: Taylor Swift is at the games with Travis kelce he's
- 22:40Speaker 7: averaging one hundred and eight yards with her at games,
- 22:43Speaker 7: forty six and a half without her at games.
- 22:45Speaker 6: She's about to go on tour. They're about to have
- 22:47Speaker 6: a bye week.
- 22:47Speaker 7: I can't wait to see him go on tour and
- 22:49Speaker 7: then talk about how she's probably gonna lose now because
- 22:51Speaker 7: he's he's prioritizing something else now, Yeah, missing his gal.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Eagles are dominating if they take care of the football,
- 23:00Speaker 7: win in the trenches, time of possession, control the clock.
- 23:03Speaker 7: I don't know if they can really be beat. They
- 23:06Speaker 7: have the guys, they have the cats. They are a tough,
- 23:09Speaker 7: tough up team. And if you tuned into Slips and
- 23:11Speaker 7: Picks last week, the theme of my pitch to them
- 23:14Speaker 7: winning that game. Time of possession, thirty six minutes to
- 23:18Speaker 7: the Dolphins. Whatever the difference is, sixty minus thirty six,
- 23:20Speaker 7: what is that twenty four time of possession, They're gonna
- 23:23Speaker 7: win that game. And they won thirty one seventeen and
- 23:26Speaker 7: they turned the ball over a couple times, zero penalties.
- 23:30Speaker 7: I'm telling you, it's a tough pills wall. I had
- 23:33Speaker 7: Washington kind of bouncing. You know, they're they're part of
- 23:35Speaker 7: the fuck. They're they're part of the ugly, They're part
- 23:37Speaker 7: of the shit.
- 23:38Speaker 6: To get you beat. We'll talk about them in a minute.
- 23:39Speaker 7: But the Eagles dominating performance against Miami this week are yesterday,
- 23:43Speaker 7: over the weekend, Sunday night football. Titans on a bye week.
- 23:46Speaker 7: I think that's a positive. The good Titans are on
- 23:48Speaker 7: a bye week. They cannot lose Tyson is it?
- 23:52Speaker 6: Is it? I don't want to. I don't want to
- 23:54Speaker 6: butcher his name Badgin't Tyson Badgin?
- 23:58Speaker 7: His first start as the quarterback for this Cargo Bear
- 24:01Speaker 7: the Chicago Bears undrafted out of Shepherd, don't even I'm
- 24:04Speaker 7: pretty sure that's made up.
- 24:06Speaker 6: He set records too.
- 24:07Speaker 7: Yeah, D two quarterback was told that, hey, D one
- 24:11Speaker 7: is a different league, it's a different world, it's a
- 24:14Speaker 7: different universe. But to go and get his first NFL
- 24:17Speaker 7: win against uh not Washington, I don't know why they're
- 24:21Speaker 7: flashing er. Yeah, the Raiders another team. I wore the
- 24:24Speaker 7: Jersey four, but the Raiders. They beat the hell out
- 24:26Speaker 7: of the Raiders. But he should be riding high like
- 24:28Speaker 7: that is unreal. Making the team undrafted like again, coming
- 24:33Speaker 7: out of Shepherd, like that's probably a made up school,
- 24:36Speaker 7: you know what I mean? Yeah, A shout out to
- 24:39Speaker 7: him and that's it. That rounds out.
- 24:42Speaker 6: My good.
- 24:42Speaker 5: The thing about that kid is I heard I was
- 24:44Speaker 5: told he was like gonna be able to transfer to
- 24:46Speaker 5: a Power five school his senior year and chose not to.
- 24:50Speaker 6: That's how much he believed in his school. And that
- 24:52Speaker 6: D two school that made up D two school.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Was invited to the Combine and one of only two
- 24:57Speaker 5: quarterbacks that wasn't drafted. Really, yes, that we're advited to
- 25:00Speaker 5: the combine. Obviously there are a lot of quarterbacks that
- 25:02Speaker 5: can't get drafted.
- 25:03Speaker 7: Is his dad twenty eight time on Wrestler Champion.
- 25:09Speaker 6: Oh he's got that.
- 25:10Speaker 7: By the way, he can cut a promo. He put old, buddy,
- 25:14Speaker 7: you saw that man. I don't want to butcher his clothes.
- 25:17Speaker 2: But tom Pella sero, No, no, no, his dad's name.
- 25:21Speaker 6: Oh his uh, his dad's name. Aw about the guy
- 25:24Speaker 6: he wook?
- 25:24Speaker 8: People call me Frankly, you can call me daddyh yeah, yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 8: yeah yeah.
- 25:27Speaker 7: This guy on the sideline, man, he and he talked
- 25:30Speaker 7: about his best the best way to go about it,
- 25:34Speaker 7: and then he's like, let it happen. His dad can
- 25:36Speaker 7: cut a promo like that. Combination right there. I'm fired
- 25:38Speaker 7: up to watch his I'm fired up to watch Tyson
- 25:40Speaker 7: because who knows, who knows, he might bill to shake
- 25:43Speaker 7: the tree a little bit out there. Chicago, they got
- 25:44Speaker 7: a little belief, especially with the packers down. Uh, Minnesota's
- 25:48Speaker 7: kind of down. I mean you can kind of yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 7: you can kind of find something five and two. You
- 25:53Speaker 7: can you can find some optimism. You can find some
- 25:56Speaker 7: optimism in Chicago. But shout out Tyson and his old man.
- 25:59Speaker 7: Like I saw that promo that chip was elite.
- 26:01Speaker 6: Were you ever? I'm sure you were growing u from Missouri.
- 26:03Speaker 5: But there were a handful of times that I would
- 26:05Speaker 5: be at my buddy's house and he'd have like a
- 26:07Speaker 5: barbecue and his uncles would be there, and then the
- 26:09Speaker 5: uncles would have a couple of drinks be like, come
- 26:12Speaker 5: over here, you're pretty big kid, and they try to
- 26:13Speaker 5: arm wrestle you.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, oh yeah. We would be doing arm wrestling too.
- 26:18Speaker 7: You'd have that ten to fifteen minute recess at the
- 26:20Speaker 7: pool when the you know, lifeguards, they blow the whistle,
- 26:22Speaker 7: they kind of take a swim, they kind of take
- 26:24Speaker 7: a little break, they switch chairs. But during that little
- 26:26Speaker 7: during that little recess, like there'd be some arm wrestling
- 26:28Speaker 7: teraments going on over bags of chips.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Over bags of chips.
- 26:32Speaker 5: I saw when I was a kid, when I was
- 26:34Speaker 5: a young lad, I saw a video of some guy
- 26:36Speaker 5: breaking his form when he was when they were arm wrestling,
- 26:39Speaker 5: and that like really turned me away from wrestling or
- 26:42Speaker 5: arm wrestling. And actually I saw some kid just kid
- 26:44Speaker 5: his elbow in a video when I was a kid,
- 26:46Speaker 5: and yes, that was wrestling. I was like, I'll never
- 26:48Speaker 5: do either of those things. Like I look good at
- 26:51Speaker 5: ar you got you got leverage, you got long arms. Yeah,
- 26:53Speaker 5: well we'll never find out. We'll never find out. We'll
- 26:56Speaker 5: get you in there against his dad, his dad. Yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 5: let him just laugh at me. I'm trying my heartest.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Start putting weight on. Dude, you gotta start putting weight on.
- 27:03Speaker 6: What is uh? You want to rid the bad? Well?
- 27:06Speaker 6: The boys in the back have any good? That has
- 27:09Speaker 6: no good? Yeah, I was gonna say there's no good there.
- 27:11Speaker 10: My one good from the weekend is just the Eagles uniforms.
- 27:15Speaker 10: Those things were so nice. The way they did the
- 27:17Speaker 10: field with the font and the end zone and then
- 27:19Speaker 10: the old school bird logo in the middle of the field.
- 27:22Speaker 4: I mean they murdered it. That was very cool.
- 27:24Speaker 5: Now, Mitchell, I don't want to I want to make
- 27:27Speaker 5: this bad for you, but you will. And I said,
- 27:32Speaker 5: we were gonna put you in our good, bad, ugly,
- 27:33Speaker 5: and you weren't in the good at all.
- 27:35Speaker 4: I know what's coming.
- 27:36Speaker 5: And also some of my bad that you were in.
- 27:40Speaker 5: I gave you an opportunity to reference a good and
- 27:42Speaker 5: he had. He had nothing to say about a Hollo
- 27:44Speaker 5: State being Penn State. He said, my one good this
- 27:47Speaker 5: weekend is the Eagles.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 27:50Speaker 7: That's just something to think about. I did think you
- 27:52Speaker 7: were gonna say, Ohio State, by the way, nice little photo.
- 27:54Speaker 7: I saw your little slippers, I saw your letterman's jacket,
- 27:57Speaker 7: I saw your hat. I saw you really trying to
- 27:58Speaker 7: be the old buck eye.
- 27:59Speaker 5: And and well, MITCHI on that note, I will start
- 28:02Speaker 5: with my bad Mitch in a three point stance with
- 28:05Speaker 5: his Ohio State stuff on.
- 28:06Speaker 6: That is my first bat.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Let's see, dude, the refs calling back that returned the
- 28:12Speaker 5: Iowa head because they said he made.
- 28:14Speaker 6: A fair catch. That is wild good for the corner.
- 28:19Speaker 7: Because at the time I was more of a I
- 28:23Speaker 7: was pissed that they lost because I wanted him to
- 28:24Speaker 7: be a one loss team when we played him.
- 28:26Speaker 6: At the end of the year. But that means we
- 28:27Speaker 6: wouldn't have got into the Indy.
- 28:29Speaker 7: So it is good, which is a crazy under.
- 28:36Speaker 5: They could have even see even that score it was
- 28:38Speaker 5: we're we're still safe. Yeah, that is just crazy. The
- 28:42Speaker 5: Bills dropping two out of three. That's that's hard. That's
- 28:45Speaker 5: that's a very difficult thing. I don't know what the
- 28:47Speaker 5: Bills are doing with their chemistry on offense.
- 28:49Speaker 6: That is tough.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Payoff Willie's picks on bet the Bus after speaking ill
- 28:52Speaker 5: of Louis Locks. That's just that's bad. Lines losing after
- 28:57Speaker 5: a five five and one start. We talked about it
- 28:59Speaker 5: on Slips and Picks. We talked on the Pro Football Show.
- 29:01Speaker 5: They drank the kool aid of everyone saying that they
- 29:03Speaker 5: were the best. All the mainstream media was sitting there
- 29:05Speaker 5: the number one team in the NFC. Watch out for
- 29:07Speaker 5: the Lions. They're coming to get you. And now of
- 29:08Speaker 5: a sudden trap game, and.
- 29:09Speaker 6: You did call it. You were saying that.
- 29:11Speaker 7: You were kind of telling me when we got off
- 29:12Speaker 7: the plane in Chicago and we were kind of walking
- 29:14Speaker 7: to go do the show Man, this could be a game,
- 29:16Speaker 7: like a team. You're just being told this, you're being
- 29:18Speaker 7: told bad. This could be a game they potentially slip on.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Did you end up picking the Ravens? Did you pick
- 29:23Speaker 7: the Ravens on some pigs?
- 29:24Speaker 5: I know I picked the Lions. My my slups and
- 29:27Speaker 5: picks was abysmal. You saw, you saw the record going,
- 29:30Speaker 5: that's stuff and I'll have to you have to face
- 29:32Speaker 5: off like that battle on Wednesday. Let's see here. Uh,
- 29:36Speaker 5: there's an article that came out that fans are split
- 29:39Speaker 5: fifty to fifty on whether there should be a Red
- 29:40Speaker 5: dev Redepation three or not.
- 29:42Speaker 6: Really, fans are saying, we don't need it.
- 29:44Speaker 5: The two timelines are great. Why why even take a
- 29:47Speaker 5: chance at messing up that franchise? And I think that's
- 29:49Speaker 5: I understand, and that's why it's not in the ugly
- 29:52Speaker 5: I understand their their viewpoint. But what Rockstar Games is
- 29:57Speaker 5: doing with with Jets, it was like.
- 30:01Speaker 6: A swallow, like a little frog throat.
- 30:03Speaker 5: Deal with GTA and in the storyline they did with
- 30:08Speaker 5: Arthur Morgan and all that. I just I would be
- 30:10Speaker 5: so heartbroken if they didn't come out with a third
- 30:14Speaker 5: And my last one is gonna be Brittany Mahomes and
- 30:16Speaker 5: Taylor Swift having a handshake this early. It's not the
- 30:18Speaker 5: fact that they have a handshake is that the handshake
- 30:21Speaker 5: wasn't really well thought out. Yeah, I'd like to see
- 30:24Speaker 5: a little more of a variety. There's so many examples
- 30:27Speaker 5: out there on Instagram for you to steal different gestures
- 30:30Speaker 5: for handsack handshakes. They should really get to the drawing board,
- 30:32Speaker 5: have a thing, take on it, and then come back
- 30:34Speaker 5: in future weeks whenever Taylor Swift gets a break and
- 30:37Speaker 5: have a better handshake.
- 30:39Speaker 7: I I'm gonna move a little bit on the Brittany Mahomes.
- 30:43Speaker 7: I'm gonna say, I like, I enjoyed watching that handshake
- 30:46Speaker 7: because I feel like Taylor's trying to immerse herself in
- 30:48Speaker 7: the in the in the circles, right, like she's kind
- 30:50Speaker 7: of the new girl, but everybody knows it's Taylor's Swift obviously,
- 30:53Speaker 7: But I like how she's playing the you know, she's
- 30:56Speaker 7: trying to earn it. She's trying to get in there,
- 30:58Speaker 7: bring her charisma and everything else. Brittany who you know,
- 31:03Speaker 7: you'd be under rock if you're not aware that she's
- 31:05Speaker 7: kind of built a brand or vibe.
- 31:08Speaker 6: That's kind of distasteful.
- 31:10Speaker 7: And so I like the move by Taylor Swift to
- 31:13Speaker 7: be in that suite, try and come up with the handshaking,
- 31:16Speaker 7: and you know, it can be awkward at first, It
- 31:17Speaker 7: can feel a little awkward like you're using her strengths,
- 31:20Speaker 7: Britney strengths, which is energy, having good energy, and you're
- 31:23Speaker 7: matching that with yours, like trying to set up a
- 31:24Speaker 7: handshake and everything else, because I think now Brittany Mahomes,
- 31:27Speaker 7: there's an opportunity to kind of repaint her vibe a
- 31:29Speaker 7: little bit being in that circle, whereas Taylor Swift is
- 31:33Speaker 7: is spotlighting and bringing out the best of Brittany Mahomes.
- 31:36Speaker 7: I saw Tommy's Tommy smokes, he had a tweet. Yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 7: he's like, maybe she's not as bad as everybody says,
- 31:41Speaker 7: And you know what they say, You're never as bad
- 31:42Speaker 7: as they say. Ah, you're never as good. I kind
- 31:44Speaker 7: of like that. You're kind of seeing a real authentic
- 31:47Speaker 7: relationship coming in the light.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Now.
- 31:49Speaker 7: Obviously, everybody's gonna have their opinions on it because it's
- 31:51Speaker 7: Taylor Swift, it's Brittany Mahomes and everything else. But you're
- 31:54Speaker 7: seeing kind of like a you're seeing a friendship take place.
- 31:57Speaker 7: You're seeing a friendship take place.
- 31:58Speaker 5: And I'm kind of I'm bored now with uh, with
- 32:02Speaker 5: the Taylor Swift, the Travis Kelsey like I think it's
- 32:05Speaker 5: I think it's real.
- 32:06Speaker 7: Will Compton, I think it's real. I think it is real,
- 32:09Speaker 7: and I've enjoyed it. I enjoy watching it right now.
- 32:12Speaker 7: It kind of brings a smile on my face because
- 32:13Speaker 7: I am I'm observing a little hard. Maybe I'm observing
- 32:17Speaker 7: now versus like, let's judge first reactor, let's judge first
- 32:20Speaker 7: thing later. I'm starting to like be real intentional with
- 32:22Speaker 7: my deserving and I think it's real.
- 32:24Speaker 6: I I think it's real and fun watching it. I
- 32:26Speaker 6: couldn't agree more.
- 32:27Speaker 5: And that's why I said before it's in my bag
- 32:28Speaker 5: because I don't dislike the fact that they have a handshake.
- 32:31Speaker 5: I didn't like the handshake itself. I think there could
- 32:33Speaker 5: be there's so much more room to grow.
- 32:35Speaker 6: There, yeah, room to grow. What's that?
- 32:37Speaker 4: This is probably like the first handshake before the game.
- 32:40Speaker 5: You got it, you got it, but you gotta know.
- 32:42Speaker 5: And and this is where Taylor Swift can lead the way. Say, honey,
- 32:45Speaker 5: I know there's gonna be cameras on us the entire
- 32:47Speaker 5: time as we're staying together. Let's really dial in this
- 32:49Speaker 5: handshake and make sure it's real good, because it's gonna
- 32:51Speaker 5: be special once we put it together, once.
- 32:52Speaker 6: They put that thing together. Nice.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Everything you just said about Brittany Mahomes, I agree, this
- 32:57Speaker 5: is a it's it's crazy to use a friendship and
- 33:01Speaker 5: try to manipulate it so people view you a different way.
- 33:03Speaker 6: But there is a stigma or.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Something along the lines with Brittany Mahomes and people extended
- 33:09Speaker 5: with Patrick Mahomes that people are not the biggest fans
- 33:12Speaker 5: of at certain times. I think Brittany has a big opportunity.
- 33:14Speaker 5: And I also thought I was like, oh man, that's adorable.
- 33:17Speaker 5: They got themselves a handshake. Were What I was critiquing
- 33:20Speaker 5: was the quality of the handshake.
- 33:21Speaker 10: I'm sure when you and Will first started your handshake,
- 33:24Speaker 10: it wasn't as quick.
- 33:25Speaker 6: It was smooth right out of the gate. Yeah, right
- 33:27Speaker 6: out of the gate, Right out of the gate, because
- 33:28Speaker 6: you know what it is.
- 33:29Speaker 5: It's not about making a big, elaborate handshake that you
- 33:32Speaker 5: have to remember. It's about, hey, I have a little handshake.
- 33:36Speaker 5: That was it at first, and then we started to
- 33:37Speaker 5: slowly add little pieces and now that's just muscle memory, baby.
- 33:42Speaker 6: And as a matter of fact, you're not off.
- 33:44Speaker 7: I would forget it damn near every time, and Taylor
- 33:46Speaker 7: will bring me along because he understood the potential that
- 33:48Speaker 7: was inside this kid. You understood the potential. Say, hey,
- 33:50Speaker 7: we're gonna get this. Don't don't shy away. Don't get
- 33:52Speaker 7: embarrassed just because we miss ash. My bad, dude, my bad. No, No,
- 33:55Speaker 7: get back in the batter's box. Take a swing, Take
- 33:57Speaker 7: a swing, keep swinging swing batters.
- 33:59Speaker 6: Kept swinging it. But now it's in the eyes and
- 34:01Speaker 6: now it's spot on.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Man.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Hey, sometimes you see the variety, you see we just
- 34:07Speaker 5: see the handshakes. Sometimes we haven't seen each other in
- 34:09Speaker 5: a while. You want to throw a hug in there too, Yeah,
- 34:11Speaker 5: it's always a good, well embraced hug as well, So
- 34:14Speaker 5: shout out honestly, let.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Me go back up to the good. Maybe you want
- 34:17Speaker 6: to put this one in for yourself as well. But
- 34:18Speaker 6: Brittany Mahomes, yeah, I just yea good yea, yeah, yeah.
- 34:24Speaker 6: Do you have any more bad? No? That was my bad?
- 34:26Speaker 6: Do you how long's it been? Should we do another
- 34:29Speaker 6: ad read?
- 34:29Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:30Speaker 5: You know what, let's I know the people dislike it,
- 34:32Speaker 5: but we're gonna have a little fun with it, dude.
- 34:33Speaker 5: We're gonna talk about Georgia boots for a second. These
- 34:36Speaker 5: these boots, dude, these boots are not only designed for
- 34:39Speaker 5: you to work your ass off day in and day out,
- 34:41Speaker 5: but it's also when party time happens, when you're grilling
- 34:44Speaker 5: out your tailgating with the boys. That's when you slip
- 34:46Speaker 5: these things on. You walk through the door and people
- 34:48Speaker 5: are like, hey, you look a little different. It's something
- 34:50Speaker 5: going on with you. And you're like, hey, brother, it's
- 34:51Speaker 5: the boots, and they go, dude, it is the boots.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Where'd you get those Georgia.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Boot And not to mention, this is the SEC the
- 34:57Speaker 7: best conference in the country, reight I know?
- 34:59Speaker 6: But do they have the one team?
- 35:00Speaker 7: Yesington, it's Georgia and that is because they are rocking
- 35:03Speaker 7: Georgia boots, boots that you can wear from work to
- 35:06Speaker 7: the bar.
- 35:06Speaker 6: Blue collar comfort right out of the box. Boys. I'm
- 35:09Speaker 6: talking big ten football on your feet all day long.
- 35:11Speaker 7: Design with comfort in mind, featuring cushioned insoles and supportive
- 35:16Speaker 7: technology for all day comfort that will fix that will
- 35:19Speaker 7: fix your low back pain.
- 35:21Speaker 5: There's an old reference saying beauty is pain. That's not
- 35:24Speaker 5: the case when it comes to Georgia Boots. Dude, if
- 35:26Speaker 5: you're sitting here in your one and your eyes are
- 35:28Speaker 5: getting all big going yo, Will Taylor, that sounds like
- 35:30Speaker 5: an amazing idea. Where can I get these things? I'm
- 35:32Speaker 5: gonna help you out real quick, dude. Go to Georgia
- 35:34Speaker 5: Boots dot com.
- 35:36Speaker 6: You go ahead.
- 35:37Speaker 5: And then use code busting b USSI in and you're
- 35:39Speaker 5: gonna get twenty percent off.
- 35:41Speaker 6: Georgia Boots are already extremely affordable footwear, but when you
- 35:47Speaker 6: take twenty percent off, I don't know how they're making
- 35:49Speaker 6: a dime.
- 35:49Speaker 5: We're giving money so that way you can spend it
- 35:51Speaker 5: on bet the bus, to slips and.
- 35:52Speaker 6: Picks, and on our merch. Yeah, and on our merch.
- 35:54Speaker 6: Go buy our merch.
- 35:55Speaker 7: If we got we dice shirts are a Georgia boot,
- 35:57Speaker 7: Georgia Boots dot Com do give away for that too,
- 36:01Speaker 7: maybe in due time, In due time with Georgia Boots,
- 36:04Speaker 7: maybe maybe one brand at a time this.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Week.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Yes, and that was a great idea because I wasn't
- 36:11Speaker 5: talked about it all before the show.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, idea bad believing the hype.
- 36:17Speaker 7: He Alardy said that you called that with the Lions
- 36:19Speaker 7: Penn State versus Ohio.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Should put that I should have put that in bad game.
- 36:27Speaker 7: It wasn't a twenty to twelve, Like this is an
- 36:29Speaker 7: NFL style game. Teams play good ball. I'm talking Penn
- 36:32Speaker 7: State ship the bed pissed down their legs. They have
- 36:35Speaker 7: the guys, they have the talent.
- 36:36Speaker 6: They put that quarterback in a bad spot all.
- 36:38Speaker 7: Game long by making them performing third and long, third
- 36:42Speaker 7: and seven, plus the entire game. Penn State has Singleton
- 36:46Speaker 7: and Allen their two best players, arguably two of the
- 36:49Speaker 7: best backs in the country, and they combined for a
- 36:52Speaker 7: total of twenty touches.
- 36:54Speaker 6: Number one.
- 36:55Speaker 7: That is bad, but that's also that could be in
- 36:57Speaker 7: the in the category of shit that gets you beat.
- 36:59Speaker 7: I just say I like that was such a hyped
- 37:02Speaker 7: game and an opportunity for Penn State. And looking at
- 37:04Speaker 7: the review and the reaction from Penn State fans because
- 37:08Speaker 7: I follow a few and seeing the reaction that like, well,
- 37:12Speaker 7: we just we realized that we were going to be
- 37:14Speaker 7: on eleven and two, ten and three, twelve and one
- 37:17Speaker 7: type football team every year, Like We're not gonna be
- 37:20Speaker 7: an elite team in the Big Ten. We're not going
- 37:21Speaker 7: to beat the Ohio States and Michigans. Of the world
- 37:23Speaker 7: because James Franklin and this staff just can't get it done.
- 37:26Speaker 7: And we're either gonna have to understand if we're going.
- 37:28Speaker 5: To settle for ten to three and eleven two every year,
- 37:31Speaker 5: or if we're gonna, you know, look at shaking the
- 37:33Speaker 5: tree a little bit. I think if you if you
- 37:35Speaker 5: get rid of a coach it's winning ten eleven games
- 37:37Speaker 5: a year, then it doesn't work out. Look at the
- 37:39Speaker 5: way Nebraska that was a nine ten ball club. You
- 37:41Speaker 5: remove Bopolini, we've had we've been shit ever since.
- 37:45Speaker 7: But uh yeah, but I do think Penn State pissed
- 37:50Speaker 7: down their leg when they were, in my opinion, in.
- 37:53Speaker 6: The driver's seat going into the back half of the year.
- 37:55Speaker 7: Now we can't have them winning and we can't have
- 37:58Speaker 7: them beat Michigan because we need Michigan in a state.
- 38:00Speaker 7: We need the game to be the game this year
- 38:02Speaker 7: and we can't have any laughs as we need Penn
- 38:04Speaker 7: State to continue to piss down their leg and go
- 38:07Speaker 7: eleven and two going into bullseason.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean in Franklin too, making a couple of
- 38:13Speaker 5: snarky remarks about easiness of schedule and all that. Brother,
- 38:15Speaker 5: you have the big game right there, against Ohio State.
- 38:17Speaker 6: You need to win that. Yeah, you need to win that.
- 38:19Speaker 5: Because if you're you know, third and seven plus and
- 38:22Speaker 5: you're throwing flats, you're gonna lose the game doing that.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Like you don't there is speed on the field. Win
- 38:28Speaker 5: Ohio State and forty four for Ohio State. I literally
- 38:32Speaker 5: heard his name last year in the Penn State game
- 38:34Speaker 5: when he had seventeen sacks and a forced fumble and
- 38:36Speaker 5: a pick and all this all this this year.
- 38:39Speaker 6: He does the same thing again.
- 38:40Speaker 5: But other than that, when I watched the mission Ohio
- 38:42Speaker 5: State game, I didn't see that in other games. I
- 38:44Speaker 5: didn't see him show up in that way. He's got
- 38:46Speaker 5: Penn State's number in a crazy way, right.
- 38:48Speaker 7: Yeah, And it's like you see Ohio State the way
- 38:51Speaker 7: they adapt to try and creatively get Marvin Harrison Junior
- 38:53Speaker 7: the ball because everybody knows that's where they're going to
- 38:56Speaker 7: try and go like he's a top five pick, he's
- 38:58Speaker 7: a freak athlete.
- 38:59Speaker 6: Like that's that's how.
- 39:01Speaker 7: Penn State needs to be with their backfield, not just hey,
- 39:04Speaker 7: let's try to run the ball. It's not working. Let's
- 39:05Speaker 7: keep trying to run the ball. Something'll shake. Let's keep
- 39:07Speaker 7: you on at the offensive lineman on the side on
- 39:09Speaker 7: the sideline, like you just bush, create holes, get hands
- 39:12Speaker 7: on him. Stop being scared that. You got to get
- 39:14Speaker 7: creative to try and get your best players the ball,
- 39:16Speaker 7: and Penn State just doesn't do that.
- 39:17Speaker 5: And it's one of those things too. It's not like
- 39:18Speaker 5: they're being that tricky with Marvin Harris. Harris Junior, a
- 39:22Speaker 5: lot of his yards came from shallow crosses.
- 39:24Speaker 6: Yeah, and it's like.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Dude, if you're in man, what are you doing man
- 39:28Speaker 5: on a shallow cross do you do?
- 39:29Speaker 6: You do?
- 39:30Speaker 5: You break it off? Like if this guy's running this way,
- 39:32Speaker 5: you stay with him and I'll go with this guy.
- 39:33Speaker 5: You just stay with your man. Are you talking about?
- 39:34Speaker 5: From a defensive standpoint? One on one coverage?
- 39:36Speaker 6: It just depends what you have working, Like if you
- 39:38Speaker 6: have a rat player inside.
- 39:39Speaker 7: Some teams just use the rat player to bang and
- 39:43Speaker 7: the defender, the dB has to stay with the guy
- 39:45Speaker 7: going all the way across and kind of jet stream
- 39:47Speaker 7: behind him, or the rat player picks up the new
- 39:49Speaker 7: crosser and then the dB whose guy goes underneath, he
- 39:53Speaker 7: falls off to become the rat player. So I'm not
- 39:55Speaker 7: necessarily sure how Oha State was doing it, or Penn
- 39:59Speaker 7: State was doing it. But those are like a couple
- 40:00Speaker 7: different ways in man coverage to kind of beat a
- 40:03Speaker 7: bunch formations. Because if you know a team is really dominant,
- 40:06Speaker 7: like the Titans are this way, they play a lot
- 40:08Speaker 7: of man and man coverage or man and man blitzes
- 40:10Speaker 7: on third down, and so teams will try and get
- 40:13Speaker 7: him bunch formations or try and create clusters or weak
- 40:16Speaker 7: side b that very blecks to iterate too, so that
- 40:18Speaker 7: way you can rub rubb routes and everything else. That's
- 40:21Speaker 7: why it's important that as a defender you are on
- 40:23Speaker 7: the same page with everybody.
- 40:24Speaker 6: They're playing man and man coverage.
- 40:26Speaker 5: It's yeahs And that really goes to show that the
- 40:29Speaker 5: coaching of that game lost in the game.
- 40:32Speaker 7: Yeah absolutely, And speaking of uh, well, I'm not gonna
- 40:36Speaker 7: stay coaching on this, but usc that they're in the
- 40:38Speaker 7: category of bad like that is that team right there
- 40:41Speaker 7: had us all fooled. They performed bad. I hated seeing
- 40:44Speaker 7: Caleb Williams just acting like just pouting on the side.
- 40:47Speaker 7: Get it, you've lost the Utah's had your number for
- 40:49Speaker 7: three years. You're kind of out of the college wall playoff.
- 40:52Speaker 7: But and everybody kind of talking right now. Should he
- 40:54Speaker 7: sit the rest of the year? Should he not? I
- 40:56Speaker 7: think that is a topic that can be discussed. Another
- 40:58Speaker 7: bad green I think Green Bay is in a very
- 41:01Speaker 7: tough situation. I hate that because I believe in the
- 41:04Speaker 7: staff over there. I've played for a lot of those guys.
- 41:06Speaker 7: But Green Bay losing to Denver, I just don't think
- 41:10Speaker 7: that they're playing that well.
- 41:14Speaker 6: Yeah, they by and by.
- 41:15Speaker 7: It seems like Lafleur and Love They're kinda not on
- 41:19Speaker 7: the same page of times.
- 41:20Speaker 6: I don't know. I hope they gets figured out because
- 41:22Speaker 6: obviously I'm biased.
- 41:23Speaker 7: I'm a big fan of Lafleur, Joe, Barry Bisaccia, all
- 41:26Speaker 7: those guys out there.
- 41:28Speaker 6: Finally, Bills.
- 41:29Speaker 7: Bills are one in three in one score games, and
- 41:31Speaker 7: I think that they are really feeling uh aimless with
- 41:36Speaker 7: their identity, especially on defense without Milano and Oliver Trey
- 41:39Speaker 7: White towards Achilles dey Kwan Jones has been out like
- 41:43Speaker 7: they don't have a whole lot of an identity. They
- 41:45Speaker 7: start trying to force the ball to Stefon Diggs and
- 41:47Speaker 7: Gape Davis like when they get in a pinch, and
- 41:49Speaker 7: it's kind of like Josh Allen trying to make plays
- 41:51Speaker 7: at the end versus when they're a machine, they're blowing
- 41:54Speaker 7: teams out, but when they're in one score games, being
- 41:56Speaker 7: one and three, they could struggle in the back half
- 41:58Speaker 7: of the year, which I think will be will be
- 42:00Speaker 7: surprising given that where they were in years past, So
- 42:03Speaker 7: that that kind of rounds out my bad.
- 42:04Speaker 5: When you were talking about the Packers, you said Lafleur
- 42:06Speaker 5: in love, not at the chemistry or whatever.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Do you think it's more love or it's more Lafleur,
- 42:10Speaker 6: I don't know, because or or the play. I don't know.
- 42:14Speaker 7: Do we feel like there's enough of a sample size
- 42:17Speaker 7: outside of Aaron Rodgers too?
- 42:20Speaker 5: You know you play for Lafleur. What your what's your
- 42:22Speaker 5: opinion on Lafleur and his chematics and everything.
- 42:24Speaker 6: He calls good games.
- 42:25Speaker 5: He has a good I think he has a good
- 42:26Speaker 5: feel for the game. His public speaking needs a little
- 42:28Speaker 5: bit of work, but overall, like when you're in the game,
- 42:31Speaker 5: I felt like he abandoned the run a little bit.
- 42:34Speaker 5: And that's me like trying to reach back in my
- 42:36Speaker 5: brain and not really having a lot of time to
- 42:38Speaker 5: think about it. But he does a great job of
- 42:41Speaker 5: putting his quarterback in positions of moving the pocket and
- 42:44Speaker 5: giving him time and all that. So like he comes
- 42:47Speaker 5: from that tree.
- 42:48Speaker 6: Yeah, and he's even keeled throughout the game like he does.
- 42:51Speaker 5: Sometimes he might get a little spreading, but it's like
- 42:53Speaker 5: for the most part, it's pretty calm and collected. Yeah,
- 42:56Speaker 5: keeps it dialed in. You can tell by his haircut.
- 42:58Speaker 5: He keeps it tight. You get a haircut every single week.
- 43:01Speaker 5: He looks great out there hammer cock. Yeah, man, you
- 43:06Speaker 5: got to guaranteed big piece.
- 43:08Speaker 6: Yeah, because I do.
- 43:09Speaker 7: I think if they keep trending this way, you've got
- 43:14Speaker 7: to look at making a move. And I don't know
- 43:17Speaker 7: if it's on love or I don't know if it's
- 43:18Speaker 7: on the staff, just because you have a quarterback that
- 43:21Speaker 7: you draft in the first round and yeah, now you're
- 43:24Speaker 7: with Yeah, he's had three years to kind of learn
- 43:26Speaker 7: and everything else. If you feel like he's not the guy,
- 43:27Speaker 7: then you got to try and make a push for
- 43:29Speaker 7: getting a quarterback whin the first round or get somebody
- 43:31Speaker 7: in that second third round area. But if it's a staff,
- 43:35Speaker 7: it's like, you know, this is the first year without
- 43:37Speaker 7: Aaron Rodgers. You know that there's gonna be some lulls.
- 43:39Speaker 7: There's gonna be some growing bangs with your quarterback. So
- 43:42Speaker 7: it's if they keep trending this way, you gotta look
- 43:44Speaker 7: at one of those situations. Either the one is a
- 43:46Speaker 7: big loss because you know you have this quarterback that
- 43:49Speaker 7: Love has been you have a staff and a quarterback
- 43:52Speaker 7: duke combination that's been together now.
- 43:53Speaker 6: For a few years.
- 43:55Speaker 7: You're hoping it works out or you see some improvement
- 43:57Speaker 7: by the end of the year, But right now where
- 43:58Speaker 7: it stands coming out of bye week, like losing a
- 44:01Speaker 7: Denver like this is a defensive game, up seventy points.
- 44:04Speaker 6: Yeah, and they were in a position to win that
- 44:05Speaker 6: game too.
- 44:05Speaker 5: They crossed the fifty, they're right on the edge of
- 44:07Speaker 5: field field goal range and they're only down by two,
- 44:11Speaker 5: and then they get a holding call puts them back
- 44:13Speaker 5: behind the fifty and Love just couldn't kind of get
- 44:16Speaker 5: it together where they could get that first down and
- 44:18Speaker 5: they would have probably won the game if they're kicking
- 44:20Speaker 5: made the kick. So I think I don't think you
- 44:22Speaker 5: make a move with Love, especially the rest of the season.
- 44:25Speaker 5: You feel it out, you keep it.
- 44:27Speaker 6: Going and just really see at the end of the year.
- 44:29Speaker 5: Yeah, at the end of I think at the end
- 44:30Speaker 5: of the year you have to actually make a decision
- 44:32Speaker 5: on Love because who's a free agent next year? Your
- 44:36Speaker 5: boy me now quarterback? Who Kurky Kirk Cousins is? I
- 44:42Speaker 5: think you put Kirk Cousins that offense. You crush Kirk
- 44:45Speaker 5: Kirk oh in that in that in that yellow and green,
- 44:48Speaker 5: in that green and yell. I think that's I think
- 44:50Speaker 5: that that might be moved. But if Love is able
- 44:53Speaker 5: to show the mental fortitude to go through bad games,
- 44:57Speaker 5: a bye week and then a bad game so fo
- 45:00Speaker 5: of really having a hard time after having a really
- 45:01Speaker 5: strong start, had a big comeback versus the Saints, and
- 45:05Speaker 5: then all this happens. If he can pull him stuff
- 45:08Speaker 5: out of this and resurrect when he started in the
- 45:11Speaker 5: beginning of the season, then you're like, Okay, we gotta
- 45:13Speaker 5: get this guy another shot. Yeah, gotta give Hi another show.
- 45:15Speaker 5: What uh, Let's get to the shittiest moments. Yeah, all right,
- 45:18Speaker 5: let's get to the ship to get you beat? Should
- 45:20Speaker 5: they gets your beat to get you beat? You guys,
- 45:21Speaker 5: have any bad you want to talk about?
- 45:24Speaker 2: So that's the obvious.
- 45:27Speaker 6: Jack's down bad, Jacks down.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Bad, second half tennessee ball bad.
- 45:30Speaker 5: No Titans eld this week though. That's gonna make you
- 45:33Speaker 5: feel good.
- 45:33Speaker 8: But I literally saw guys tweeting with A. J. Brown
- 45:36Speaker 8: going off on Sunday night and everything. They're like, somehow
- 45:39Speaker 8: we still took an l on her bie week.
- 45:43Speaker 5: That's right, my ugly Michigan State's discipline number fifty eight
- 45:51Speaker 5: and then seventeen. Remember that McGregor kid that we were
- 45:53Speaker 5: out at the bars with and he was like running
- 45:54Speaker 5: around everywhere where at the Michigan the Michigan Kid, white
- 45:58Speaker 5: kid tattoos. Now, he was never seventeen. He plays defensive end.
- 46:02Speaker 6: He it was that weekend we.
- 46:03Speaker 5: Were all there. We went Brown jug the Ricks, the Skeepspec,
- 46:06Speaker 5: the Rix went from Skeeps to Rix. He like ran
- 46:08Speaker 5: and I think, yeah, yeah.
- 46:11Speaker 6: The wild wild man, wild boy. Yeah, but he's like
- 46:14Speaker 6: kind of what you needed is that cycle path. Yeah,
- 46:16Speaker 6: on the edge, he.
- 46:18Speaker 5: There was a pick ended up being a pick six
- 46:20Speaker 5: and fifty eight. He went to go block at the
- 46:22Speaker 5: fifty like swiped him down and then as he was
- 46:25Speaker 5: laying on a stomach, dove at the back of his
- 46:27Speaker 5: head was immediately ejected.
- 46:28Speaker 6: From the game.
- 46:29Speaker 5: And you're like, holy shit, dude, that next drive, that
- 46:32Speaker 5: Michigan had two personal fouls and then they end up
- 46:35Speaker 5: scoring another touchdown. Michigan State had two personal fouls on defense,
- 46:38Speaker 5: again like there's not a lot of discipline. My next
- 46:41Speaker 5: one goes to Michigan State. What in your right mind
- 46:45Speaker 5: makes you think it's all right to put Adolf Hitler
- 46:47Speaker 5: on your jumbo tron?
- 46:49Speaker 6: That is that is shit that gets you beat. That
- 46:53Speaker 6: is just that is wild to me.
- 46:56Speaker 5: Ugly Chet Savage is picking week seven in the NFLC
- 47:00Speaker 5: You got if you are going to claim the things
- 47:02Speaker 5: you claim on that show and have a week like that,
- 47:05Speaker 5: you've got to take You got to sit there and
- 47:08Speaker 5: take accountability and say how I was wrong this week
- 47:10Speaker 5: and we'll.
- 47:10Speaker 6: Be better this week. That's on me.
- 47:13Speaker 5: This one is my biggest ugly of the week. And
- 47:16Speaker 5: I just mentioned Adolf Hitler, So you know, it's pretty bad.
- 47:20Speaker 4: Mitch giving me.
- 47:20Speaker 5: Bad data for slips and picks because he's a money
- 47:23Speaker 5: hungry cock.
- 47:25Speaker 6: I told him, He told me, because it's over.
- 47:28Speaker 5: It's over with black pants Eagles.
- 47:33Speaker 7: He brought that up again. We were at the airport.
- 47:34Speaker 7: He brought it up ahead. He brought it up again.
- 47:37Speaker 7: What were we talking about?
- 47:38Speaker 5: You were just talking about as we were talking about football,
- 47:40Speaker 5: because slips and picks.
- 47:43Speaker 6: Man, He's like, how about that? Stad Like, what a
- 47:45Speaker 6: good stat dude.
- 47:47Speaker 5: I was sitting there smiling, I go, I gotta tell
- 47:49Speaker 5: you something, and my little face dropped because that was.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Just for you. Just for the record, that is the
- 47:55Speaker 4: only wrong stat I have ever get.
- 47:57Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I was gonna say that was the only
- 47:59Speaker 6: thing we were banking on.
- 48:00Speaker 5: Yeah, but the accountablity and say sorry, I'm sorry, but
- 48:03Speaker 5: it's a nice joke.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it was funny. Yeah, it's a good joke.
- 48:07Speaker 5: You should have had him come on during the show
- 48:08Speaker 5: and just boty me right there. I would have been
- 48:10Speaker 5: in a blender.
- 48:10Speaker 7: The only reason we didn't want to do that is
- 48:13Speaker 7: we wanted to do more facial reaction, like when you're
- 48:16Speaker 7: saying it, because I'm going that's so just use that
- 48:19Speaker 7: and like let it be believed throughout the whole.
- 48:22Speaker 6: Yeah, it was a great job. It was a great job.
- 48:24Speaker 5: That But that's my ugly that's the ship that gets
- 48:26Speaker 5: you beat. Uh dude, let's see. Oh my last one,
- 48:30Speaker 5: my young is it the direct?
- 48:32Speaker 6: No?
- 48:32Speaker 5: No, no, no, sorry, I'll do my direct after this. But
- 48:35Speaker 5: my youngest daughter's bedtime routine right now at the moment,
- 48:38Speaker 5: she is. Last two nights have has it's been hell,
- 48:42Speaker 5: it's been screams, it's been tank rooms, and it's on
- 48:44Speaker 5: the it's on the it's on the parent. I gotta
- 48:45Speaker 5: figure out a way to get to her and get
- 48:48Speaker 5: eye to eye with her and figure it out.
- 48:49Speaker 6: But my overly direct take, personally direct takes.
- 48:56Speaker 5: We both do it. Yeah, we can do that. Go ahead,
- 48:57Speaker 5: We'll give me here ugly all right, anything you want
- 48:59Speaker 5: touch on my.
- 49:01Speaker 7: I feel like we were kind of talking through them
- 49:03Speaker 7: when they got brought up. Do you want to talk
- 49:05Speaker 7: about the Mitch the stat they did bother me? How
- 49:08Speaker 7: much did you pay him?
- 49:09Speaker 6: I made him? I made it worth I made it
- 49:12Speaker 6: worth this time.
- 49:13Speaker 7: Mitch did a great job negotiat He said, you gotta
- 49:14Speaker 7: make it worth my time, and I made it. I
- 49:15Speaker 7: made it worth his time because I knew it was
- 49:17Speaker 7: gonna be a one trip. Like ultimately, what was happening
- 49:21Speaker 7: is you got to take advantage of your weaknesses and
- 49:23Speaker 7: your weaknesses you weren't. I knew you were going to
- 49:26Speaker 7: readjust the data and do your picks. So it's like, Okay,
- 49:29Speaker 7: this is a moment where I'll be able to get
- 49:31Speaker 7: you because you're on a panel with three people. Bet
- 49:33Speaker 7: the bus is a team operation, Like that's where I'm
- 49:35Speaker 7: leaning on Mitch for picks and everything like that, Like
- 49:37Speaker 7: we're working together to deliver one pick. I'm not going
- 49:40Speaker 7: against anybody else. So when we're on the panel and
- 49:42Speaker 7: I know in my mind like he's just reading data,
- 49:45Speaker 7: I'm gonna slip one in there to get you, take
- 49:48Speaker 7: advantage of your weaknesses.
- 49:49Speaker 4: So why are you so mad at me? Will? Why
- 49:54Speaker 4: are you more mad at me than you are?
- 49:55Speaker 5: Well, because we've seen throughout The Fall, that's kind of
- 49:57Speaker 5: Will's m O right now. He's trying to find a
- 50:00Speaker 5: way to get one up. Slips and picks is a
- 50:02Speaker 5: competitive game between the three of us.
- 50:04Speaker 6: I would expect that from Willie Gocko. I'd expect him
- 50:07Speaker 6: to do that. You know, what do you mean to fall?
- 50:08Speaker 7: The theme with the Fall when we bring baggage Team
- 50:10Speaker 7: Michigan being being rough, like not being a good friend
- 50:14Speaker 7: in a lot of ways.
- 50:15Speaker 5: I mean about it up every week is there's examples
- 50:19Speaker 5: every single week that I'm able to look at and say,
- 50:20Speaker 5: this is why Will, this is why we gotta get
- 50:22Speaker 5: better in our friendship.
- 50:22Speaker 6: We don't want to be like the other guys. We
- 50:25Speaker 6: don't want to be like the other guys that fight
- 50:26Speaker 6: and scrap.
- 50:27Speaker 10: We don't want that, I feel, And you gotta admit, hindsight,
- 50:30Speaker 10: that's kind of funny.
- 50:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:31Speaker 7: To me, it's like, oh, that's just like a solid joke.
- 50:33Speaker 7: I didn't know that we got we got baggage in
- 50:35Speaker 7: ball with it. But you want me to go into
- 50:37Speaker 7: my shit to get you beat? Yeah, Ridder's inZone fuffle.
- 50:42Speaker 7: I mean that game was way too close for comfort,
- 50:45Speaker 7: and the Falcons had it. I mean they did have it.
- 50:47Speaker 7: They still won, but Ridder going into the end zone
- 50:50Speaker 7: he had a walking kind of in zone play and
- 50:51Speaker 7: looses the ball up and a defender hits it and
- 50:54Speaker 7: does the whole touchback out of bounds. And this is
- 50:56Speaker 7: at the end of the game. And then Tampa Bay
- 50:58Speaker 7: turns the ball over moving down the field. It's like,
- 51:01Speaker 7: who's trying to lose this game?
- 51:02Speaker 6: Right here?
- 51:02Speaker 7: Thankfully Falcons won, but Ridder, holy shit, bro take care
- 51:07Speaker 7: of the football.
- 51:07Speaker 6: Take care of the football. We need to figure out
- 51:09Speaker 6: why b Jon Robinson wasn't playing in that game? Was
- 51:12Speaker 6: that real? Just say, okay, all right, we can figure
- 51:17Speaker 6: that out.
- 51:18Speaker 5: You're a rookie at the Tommy you gotta play brother,
- 51:20Speaker 5: is it Heineke time?
- 51:22Speaker 6: I mean they won, they beat Tampa.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Rider was trying to lose that game, I know.
- 51:27Speaker 7: But again, young young Arthur saying Arthur's saying all the
- 51:32Speaker 7: positive things right now, He's he's not really putting a
- 51:34Speaker 7: whole lot of pressure on him, which is fine. That
- 51:36Speaker 7: just tells you that, you know, they want to keep
- 51:38Speaker 7: they want the optimism to happen for him. They're not
- 51:41Speaker 7: They're not in the spot of wanting to give up
- 51:42Speaker 7: on him, nor do they want him to believe that
- 51:44Speaker 7: they're trying to give up on him. So I think,
- 51:45Speaker 7: knowing that from the head man, from the head man
- 51:47Speaker 7: that we respect here, you got to back that. You
- 51:50Speaker 7: gotta back that. Do I think Heinike can make it
- 51:52Speaker 7: shake out there, absolutely, because he's one of the boys.
- 51:55Speaker 7: But for the messaging that Arthur's giving right now, we
- 51:58Speaker 7: are we're back in that. I need Ritter, He'll he'll
- 52:01Speaker 7: get going. If he believes that he's gonna get going
- 52:02Speaker 7: and he's a smart ball player and everything else, then
- 52:05Speaker 7: we got to believe in that optimism. Saying the Chiefs
- 52:09Speaker 7: aren't making the playoffs. Look, I think I've given too
- 52:11Speaker 7: much billboard material to where now I've realized that I
- 52:16Speaker 7: can't beat the Chiefs by talking shit on him at
- 52:18Speaker 7: the get go, out of the get go.
- 52:19Speaker 6: I've got this. Yeah.
- 52:20Speaker 7: Now I think I got to restructure, reposition myself as like, hey,
- 52:24Speaker 7: I'm a fan of the things going on with Taylor
- 52:25Speaker 7: Swift and Travis Kelsey, Like I can find myself pulling
- 52:29Speaker 7: for them a little bit at.
- 52:30Speaker 5: Home about Taylor Swift wasn't even real It's just warfare attacktic.
- 52:33Speaker 6: No, no, no no.
- 52:34Speaker 7: When I called myself doing that, I was like, Man,
- 52:36Speaker 7: if I look at it, do I kind of want
- 52:37Speaker 7: to root for him a little bit? Yeah, because I
- 52:39Speaker 7: love what I'm seeing right here. And if I'm doing that,
- 52:41Speaker 7: and if I look in the mirror and say I
- 52:43Speaker 7: can't have you know both ways, I need to start.
- 52:47Speaker 7: I need to take cannability for being like, yo, I've
- 52:49Speaker 7: been messing up every year by.
- 52:50Speaker 6: Coming out of the Chiefs.
- 52:51Speaker 7: Now, do we know that Taylor Swift that they were
- 52:53Speaker 7: going to go out and recruit the biggest name in
- 52:54Speaker 7: the whole world and bring them.
- 52:55Speaker 6: On their team to just to defeat me. No, we
- 52:58Speaker 6: didn't know that was coming.
- 52:59Speaker 7: But I think, you know, if I talk about the
- 53:02Speaker 7: ship to get you beat, it takes like mine at
- 53:03Speaker 7: the beginning of the year that ultimately gets me beat
- 53:05Speaker 7: by the end of the year because the Chiefs ended
- 53:06Speaker 7: up winning the Super Bowl and making the playoffs every time.
- 53:09Speaker 7: So that's a ship that gets you beat. Hating on
- 53:13Speaker 7: pumpkin flavors during the spooky season, who did that? We
- 53:17Speaker 7: got somebody in house that does it, but I heard
- 53:18Speaker 7: it from somebody else over the weekend too that I
- 53:20Speaker 7: had to I had to kind of explain.
- 53:22Speaker 6: And we did it too. At the airport.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Oh buddy, Yeah, Buddy and his girlfriend wedding not necessarily
- 53:29Speaker 5: fans of pumpkin flavors.
- 53:30Speaker 6: Maybe the guy I don't know if he actually was.
- 53:33Speaker 5: The guy was like trying to be alpha male mentality, possibly,
- 53:36Speaker 5: and that's where I had to tell him, Hey.
- 53:38Speaker 6: Your boy's not a flavored coffee guy. No.
- 53:40Speaker 5: Actually, one of the big first fights Will and I
- 53:42Speaker 5: had was when we went to OTP to do official
- 53:45Speaker 5: Titans podcast. I went upstairs and there was only Hazel
- 53:47Speaker 5: Nunt coffee and I grabbed it and literally was like,
- 53:49Speaker 5: you can drink that shit.
- 53:50Speaker 6: Yeah, Pussy's drink flavored coffee.
- 53:52Speaker 7: Yeah, but to go off of the people hating on
- 53:54Speaker 7: the pumpkins, pice the seasonal stuff. It was JP or
- 53:58Speaker 7: you know, are well loved proof. Yeah he got he
- 54:01Speaker 7: was in his hating element at the time, but he
- 54:03Speaker 7: hates on the pumpkin flavored stuff. Like at the end
- 54:06Speaker 7: of the day, it's not about whether you love it
- 54:08Speaker 7: or hate it. He's like, Oh, that's why it's not
- 54:09Speaker 7: all year round. It's not meant to be all year round.
- 54:11Speaker 7: It's meant to drive it out. When you're in the
- 54:13Speaker 7: spooky whoever the leaves are falling and you see those
- 54:15Speaker 7: pumpkin flavored stuff is on signs promoting you just know
- 54:18Speaker 7: that you are directly in the fall peak football, peak,
- 54:21Speaker 7: spook season atmosphere. And so it drives me in saying
- 54:24Speaker 7: that people hate on the pumpkin stuff because I'm not
- 54:26Speaker 7: like the biggest pumpkin flavored like fan at all times either.
- 54:30Speaker 7: But it's it's more of like it's a good vibe.
- 54:34Speaker 7: It's a good vibe of optimism. Whenever you embrace the
- 54:36Speaker 7: festive element, when are you ever really in a bad mood?
- 54:39Speaker 7: The only time you can be taken out of it
- 54:41Speaker 7: is when people like throwing like little hater comments. It's like, dog,
- 54:44Speaker 7: just just just buy in and have fun, like just
- 54:46Speaker 7: enjoy it.
- 54:47Speaker 5: Yes, dude, yes, I've ever heard of my life.
- 54:52Speaker 6: I didn't know what.
- 54:52Speaker 5: I saw the arms up over there, I saw them smiling,
- 54:55Speaker 5: so I just didn't.
- 54:55Speaker 6: Faking it in, dude.
- 54:56Speaker 5: I was just soaking in the soul work right there.
- 54:58Speaker 6: Yeah, you know what you did.
- 55:00Speaker 5: Just put my soul up to full, put my battery
- 55:03Speaker 5: up to full. Overflow it you put the charge off
- 55:05Speaker 5: the charger and it was a supercharger.
- 55:07Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, let's don't.
- 55:09Speaker 5: Let's go because if you don't like it, then don't
- 55:12Speaker 5: even say it. If you have nothing nice to say,
- 55:13Speaker 5: don't say it at all. Because we're trying to embrace
- 55:16Speaker 5: holiday seasons.
- 55:17Speaker 6: Not even just us.
- 55:18Speaker 7: But it's just like you're going around and you're driving
- 55:20Speaker 7: and somebody's in the car like, ya.
- 55:21Speaker 6: This pumpkin shit's so gay? Don't you hate this? It's
- 55:24Speaker 6: like what are we trying to stir up in.
- 55:25Speaker 4: The car now?
- 55:26Speaker 6: Why?
- 55:27Speaker 7: Or hey, can we go? Can we go get? Like
- 55:29Speaker 7: I want to get a pumpkin flavor? Lot, Like we're
- 55:31Speaker 7: not going to wherever to get a pumpkin It's like,
- 55:33Speaker 7: why because it's pumpkin. Yeah, man, embrace it. Go to
- 55:37Speaker 7: the extra mile a little bit, jack, you know what
- 55:38Speaker 7: I'm saying.
- 55:39Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 7: The last one going into our direct TV overly direct
- 55:44Speaker 7: takes coming out of mine, Louis Locke Taylor's mouth is
- 55:47Speaker 7: going to be presented by direct TV. If Direct TV
- 55:52Speaker 7: the overly direct take by direct TV moving into our
- 55:56Speaker 7: direct takes overlead direct takes. DirecTV is the ultimate destination
- 55:59Speaker 7: for for pro football. It's where fans can get their

- 56:29Speaker 5: You absolutely kidding me right now? What are we gonna
- 56:31Speaker 5: do about that?

- 56:45Speaker 5: Just get direct TV.
- 56:46Speaker 7: Stop compromising, start watching football called one eight hundred direct
- 56:50Speaker 7: TV now and get direct TV. Let's move into the
- 56:54Speaker 7: overly direct take, Taylor, what do you have?
- 56:56Speaker 5: My overly direct take is the Buffalo Bills are not
- 56:59Speaker 5: going to the playoffs.
- 57:01Speaker 6: Oh shit, I think.
- 57:02Speaker 5: They're in shambles injuries, they have a chemistry issue.
- 57:04Speaker 6: I think.
- 57:05Speaker 5: First off, I love Josh directed right, Josh Allen's directed
- 57:09Speaker 5: right at Josh.
- 57:09Speaker 6: This rejected right, this is directed right at the boy you're.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Checking milk, milk and all that saying all that bad
- 57:17Speaker 5: ball security. We talked about the show, and I know
- 57:19Speaker 5: by me saying this, I'm picking a fight with Bill's
- 57:22Speaker 5: Maffi and I hate that. But the proof is in
- 57:24Speaker 5: the pudding. Right now, you drop two of three. It's
- 57:27Speaker 5: just you guys just aren't showing you're a playoff team
- 57:31Speaker 5: right now. You're and that is and I hope I
- 57:33Speaker 5: changed my mind, but right now, as it stands, I
- 57:35Speaker 5: don't believe you guys are gonna make the playoffs this year.
- 57:41Speaker 7: Charger staff needs to be fired. That's a hot, spicy
- 57:47Speaker 7: take care what that is. That's coast to coast. Yeah, okay,
- 57:49Speaker 7: that's coast to coast number one there in the AC West.
- 57:51Speaker 7: We need the Raiders to get some life, but we
- 57:53Speaker 7: need the Chiefs apparently according to you.
- 57:54Speaker 6: Now, what do you?
- 57:57Speaker 7: Raiders are in a bad spot too. You lose a
- 57:58Speaker 7: game like that to uh to the Bears. Holy shit,
- 58:01Speaker 7: we are in a bit of a shamble. But the Chargers, listen,
- 58:06Speaker 7: a you're an offense driven team with a defensive minded
- 58:10Speaker 7: head coach of zero pass rush on Kansas City. You
- 58:14Speaker 7: don't pay Joey Bosa, you know he doesn't get all
- 58:16Speaker 7: that money. Not yeah, Khalil Max Sackson one yet not
- 58:19Speaker 7: put pressure on Patrick Mahomes. You're you're getting paid in
- 58:22Speaker 7: the division to sack Patrick Mahomes, not Garoppolo, not Russell Wilson.
- 58:26Speaker 6: You get after Mahomes's ass, and they don't do that.
- 58:29Speaker 6: They are the highest paid defense cap wise in the league.
- 58:34Speaker 7: Good talent scattered across the board on offense, and it's like,
- 58:36Speaker 7: if you're gonna be an offensive driven team. You're gonna
- 58:39Speaker 7: have to look like the Chiefs. You're gonna have to
- 58:40Speaker 7: win games. You can't be in these close games. And
- 58:43Speaker 7: you might be able to blame Herbert whatever, doesn't matter.
- 58:45Speaker 7: Defensive minded head coach. They are shit on defense. They
- 58:49Speaker 7: are overpaid on defense, and I think that they're gonna
- 58:52Speaker 7: have to make moves at the end of the year
- 58:54Speaker 7: because this team are two and four, They're not making
- 58:56Speaker 7: the playoffs, and I think you're gonna have to ask yourself,
- 58:59Speaker 7: is this the critter is just the formula we're gonna
- 59:01Speaker 7: have moving forward. I can't believe the Raiders are three
- 59:03Speaker 7: and four right now. But we got life. We got
- 59:07Speaker 7: we got life, We got life in Vegas. The Chargers,
- 59:09Speaker 7: I don't think have up honestly. I they have a
- 59:11Speaker 7: solid team, but they're not. They just they can't win games.
- 59:14Speaker 7: They don't They don't make any moves defensively, and it
- 59:17Speaker 7: blows my mind because they got Cats Samuel Junior, the safety,
- 59:22Speaker 7: who's the stud safety, Derwin James James, Eric Kendricks like
- 59:25Speaker 7: they Phil Khalil mac Joey Bosa. They got a lot
- 59:27Speaker 7: of talent, man, and they just can't put it together.
- 59:30Speaker 4: You see Jackson, They see Jackson.
- 59:32Speaker 5: Who's a stud stud was Broncos before?
- 59:36Speaker 4: Now I think he was at the Patriots before.
- 59:39Speaker 5: What am I thinking about that was that you're for
- 59:41Speaker 5: sure right, but there's somebody.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Else who you think what's going on?
- 59:43Speaker 5: Was that compas Jackson that was a dB for the Broncos.
- 59:47Speaker 5: I thought I thought he went to the Chargers as well. Yeah,
- 59:51Speaker 5: that's right, Cream Jackson. Yeah, that's that's my OVERLEA direct
- 59:54Speaker 5: tech man. A couple of toughies right there. Tough ones,
- 59:57Speaker 5: A couple of tough ones. Uh, that is crazy. You
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: just asked for people to lose their job that have
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: family going for I'm going for heads. This is listen. Listen, listen.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: That's where I have to if you're we're in the
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: business of football. We're in the business of the product
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: on the field. Separate the outside noise. Separate the outside noise.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: Now you make me feel bad. But if I'm talking
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: about just the product of football, to see big time business,
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: big time pressure, big time expectations, take emotion.
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: Out of it, take emotion out of it. Are they
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: doing the job? Yes or no?
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: If the answers no, it's time to move on. Boom
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: that easy.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: Yes, dude, I think they can get better. We have
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: enough of a sample size to see that. Hey, this
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: is the same old, same old every year.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Doing four and it really I mean losing the way
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: you did the Jags in the playoffs last or two.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean this is a team coming into this season.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: I mean we went to the training camp, we went
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: to for the training camp tour. This is a team
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: this season. It's like bias for my Raiders aside, like
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: this is a team on paper with it seems like
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: they have all the pieces they need to be a
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: successful team to challenge the Chiefs for that division.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: And they're just they're they're they just don't do it. Man,
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: those are pretty direct takes.
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, you know. I want to make it spicy.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: I want to make it spicy for the viewers. I mean,
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: if you guys disagree with me, leave in the chat.
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: But I do think people be on there. Thank god,
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: somebody said it.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Like I'm the only one saying it.
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: I think all the Charger fans, I think they are
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: kind of screaming that stuff right now. By the way,
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: great look at us one spootober merch take it off.
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: Go to the other spootober merch that's in our store.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: It is the very last week. It's Tuesday listening. You'll
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: get it by Halloween. Get it now or don't get
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: it at all.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: Oh we're gonna discontinue it. Yeah, yeah, we're taking it off,
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: taking all of the shelves. I gotta bee go ahead.
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: We can. We can.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: Once you get back from taking a little pp we
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: can get back to our twisted question, brought to us
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: by the one, the only twisted Tea.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: The twisted Kings and Queens. Listen up.
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: This question is brought to us by Twisted Tea, the
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: smoothest hard iced tea out there, Perfect for pool parties,
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: perfect for twisted questions, perfect for game days, tailgates, whatever
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: the occasion. Twisted Tea is where it's at.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Listen.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: I got a fun little Super Bowl idea, which I
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: won't say it on air right now. I gotta tell Taylor,
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: I gotta tell the boys. I think I got something
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: to brun in the old noggin. Grab a refreshing twist
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: the tea today. Mitchie teas up for our twisted question.
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: For the twisted Kings and queens out there.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: All right, our twisted question. This week.
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: This one we we've sort of done something along the
- 1:02:25Speaker 10: same lines as it, but this one has a little
- 1:02:27Speaker 10: twist to it.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: For the twisted question.
- 1:02:29Speaker 10: All right, Mitch, would you rather have the ability to
- 1:02:32Speaker 10: time travel but never be able to return to your
- 1:02:35Speaker 10: original time? Or have the ability to read read minds
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: but never be able to turn it off?
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: Hearing everybody's thoughts.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: Yo, that is a hard question. I think that's way easier. Really,
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: what time travel but never get to go back to
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: the same time?
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: Well, time travel you can go back no click, Yeah,
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: I been click with the remote. You can press for
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: wind too.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: This is yeah. But you can't go back to the
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: present moment. You can't without the rewind button working. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: Well I can't go back in time.
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: You would never be able to be back in this
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: current moment right now?
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: Can Is it controlling time?
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: What do you mean?
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: Like, if I want to pause time, can I pass time?
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: No?
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: You're creating all these stipulations.
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I don't know my answer.
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: You can time travel, but you can't go back to
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: this specific moment.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: You can go to the past, you can go to
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: the future.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: Do you only get to go once? Is my only
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: question because think about it this way. Maybe I can't
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: go to the past.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: You can go to the past, You're just never allowed
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: to be in this moment.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Let's say eliminate let's say eliminate past.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: Okay, so you can or if you go to.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: The past, you can only go to the past one time.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: You got to relive it.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: Yeah, because because think about this way, if you can
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: do past in future, you can go to the future
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: and then revert back to the past, just avoiding this moment.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: So it's like I can get back in my truck
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: and get out, go and walk in and say, oh,
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: what's up, guys, good morning. So you're still kind of
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: reliving the moment. So let's just eliminate the past. Would
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: you rather time travel for the future? Go anywhere you
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: can't go back to this moment.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: Or.
- 1:04:15Speaker 10: Be able to read minds but never have the ability
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: to turn it off what everybody's thinking all the time.
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: But unlimited time travel, I'd probably go.
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: I think the easy answer is unlimited time travel. I
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: think if you were sitting there in a group in
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: an elevator, walking day to day on an airplane, going
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: to bed, waking up, moving around, getting a coffee, getting
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: your pumpkin spice lattes, whatever you're grabbing. To hear everyone's
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: thoughts all the time, How are you gonna have time
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: to think your own thoughts. It's gonna be like you're
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: gonna go insane. You will actually go insane with that.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: Gotta block out the noise. I'm taking. I'm taking.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: I'm taking boys that you hear everybody saw It's like
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: you can like, it's not like I'm sitting here in
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: all your guys thoughts and voices are at the volume
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: of like everything else.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: You know what I mean.
- 1:05:05Speaker 10: But he's not listen to them when someone you're hearing,
- 1:05:09Speaker 10: there's their thoughts.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: What women want?
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: That movie?
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: What women want?
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what men want.
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: No, it's what women want. Mel Gibson.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: I'm thinking of the one with the newer one.
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: Gotcha.
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: I'm gonna take the reading minds. I think I'm taking
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: the reading minds.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: You said you can't turn it off.
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: I know that's gonna suck that. I'm like, I don't
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: think there's a win win in any of this. Like,
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: that's gonna suck. But to not like if to time
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: to time travel forward and not come back to the
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: present moment. I don't see myself ever using it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: I would never want I would never want to go
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: forward if I can't come back. I agree, I probably
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: wouldn't use it very much at all unless it was
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: a a crazy circumstance.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: Tragedy.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: You have it, you have to use it.
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: That's why I have the time travel every single name
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: you can't well I thing number one. You said you
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: would time travel.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I would if I had to pick one of
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: those skills, I would time travel for the sake of
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: having a clear mind.
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: But your But what I'm saying is like, you can't
- 1:06:12Speaker 10: just say yeah, I'll choose the time travel one, but
- 1:06:14Speaker 10: never use it like you.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: I probably I probably would use it because based on
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: the stipulations Will said, where you can relive the moment.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: If I get to argue with my wife and I
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: will think back, I'm like, man, I really wasn't the
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: wrong there. I could probably go back in time and
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: figure it all out and then just relive up to
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: that point and not make the mistake again. That's why
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: you can't go back the day to day thing.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: You can't go back, You can only go forward, right
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: Will did?
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Will not just say you have to you have to.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: I could go just go back on my truck and hey,
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: what's up boys, how we doing?
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: As I was working through the saying, we need to
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: eliminate the past, because if you can time travel around
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: and just not go back to this moment, you can
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: just avoid this moment by going back to my truck
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: and coming in.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: That's why you can't go back. You either time travel forward.
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: The question is a little harder than I thought.
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: Time travel forward. You can't relive this moment.
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: So say you're in the middle of an argument, you
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: can jump forward to the positive, but you can't go
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: back to them.
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: But I also I wouldn't know the results or how
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: we got to the results of that problem. Yeah, Now,
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: because it ends up, it truly ends up like a
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: click where you just kind of become a zombie and you.
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: Just on autopilot. That's what I'm saying, that's all. I'm
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: taking the voices. I'm taking the voices, I'm taking the
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: people's thoughts. That's gonna suck, but I'm taking that over. Yeah,
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: because it's like, if you can't go back to a moment,
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: you're gonna to me. I would make an emotional reaction
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: to jump forward not knowing the consequences of what I
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: just did, all because I'm pissed off in a moment.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: Whereas if I'm reading people's thoughts, I have to ultimately
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: focus on myself and handling the chaos, which that's where
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: I put my eggs.
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: I expect I would put you in a bad mood
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: all of the time.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: Just depends how you are, Like you have to work
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: on yourself so much that it doesn't You got to
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: be able to block out the noise.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: That's that's me in my opinion.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: This into like a self self grown.
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: We have Tony Robbins over here.
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: Yeah, I think that that's what you're gonna have to
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: do if you're listening to people's opinions of you all
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: the time, because not that you gotta choose the time
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: travel and I don't want a time travel.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: Can you differentiate You don't know this answer, but I'm
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: gonna ask you. Can you differentiate when someone's talking to
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: you or when someone's thinking thoughts?
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: Yeah, ultimately, Like if it's like if I'm talking to you,
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: unless I'm trying to intentionally listen to what they're saying
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: or thinking, It's not like I'm gonna hear what their
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: thoughts are.
- 1:08:28Speaker 10: That's what I was saying, Like if you like people
- 1:08:31Speaker 10: are talking all the time, but you're just not choosing
- 1:08:32Speaker 10: to listen to it, like you hear what they're they're like,
- 1:08:35Speaker 10: you can hear them, but you don't have to like,
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: let's say, like understanding and comprehend it.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you can run into a lot of
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: issues of like let's say, Charles, like, look at this motherfucker,
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: get off your phone, will so I could help with
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: the baby. And you'd be like, what the fuck you
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: just say? So I didn't say anything because you didn't
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: know she was because you're looking at your phone and
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: she's just thinking something and you hear that. That's gonna
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: run a lot of issues. It's gonna run issues. But
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: that's why this self work is so important. You hear
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: that is you said something like, I see the issues
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: you can run into.
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: But again, I think it allows me to be It
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: allows like all the noise around me, they're affecting me,
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: or I get to just understand the chaos is happening,
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: and I have to just completely own that I had
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: this decision.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: So it puts all the accountability.
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: It means I had to take accountability or I'm going
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: to be imprisoned by everybody else's ruining my life.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: That's why I'm taking that. That's why I'm taking that.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: I would probably I'm gonna stick with time travel for
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: clear mind and anything that's like just not like all
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: the flights we fly every single week.
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: I can let just get on the planet, poop, I'm back,
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: I'm there.
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: Yeah, think about all the conversations we miss on those flights, knowing.
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: With the flights back from places when we're exhausted, for
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: sure we're back.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it's a difficult question.
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: The issue is I was looking at as as a
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: positive as first, but really this is more of like
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: a negative thing.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: It's a negative question.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: I think if what you're saying too is like as
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: long as you just understand that you're using it in
- 1:10:05Speaker 7: spurts like hungover on a flight back, stuff like that,
- 1:10:08Speaker 7: Like you understand the power and control that you have,
- 1:10:10Speaker 7: and you've got to be in control of.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: That power, right.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: I think both of them are very much like, you know,
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: how are you going to handle itself?
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: Like your own self?
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Yeah, when you when you phrase it like that, I
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: just think it'd be so difficult to block out voices
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: in your head. Oh that's literally schizophrenia. Yeah, like people
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: go crazy fifty one to fifty. Yeah, I'm with you,
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: and so I'm with you. If you're a schizophrenic and
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: they're listening to will content, that's something I believe.
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: I believe that I'll be able to fucking get it going.
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: Maybe that's ego, maybe that's arrogance, but I'm just I
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: just I get it. I understand that part of it.
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: It just allows you because you can't leave the moment,
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: nobody's coming to save you.
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: Like, you got to figure that out. You got to
- 1:10:53Speaker 6: figure out that power.
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: And whereas if you're emotional with the with the time travel,
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: like you can easily get out of whatever chuations depending
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: on how bad it is in that moment. Yeah, but
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: whereas in the other one, you can't. There's no getting
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: around it. It's like, you know, remove yourself from the situation.
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: Think about the way you're talking about reading minds and
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: the way you're talking about time travel. One you're saying,
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: I have to work on myself, be better, block out
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: the noise, blah blah blah, and then you revert to
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: time travel, the negative being I can't react emotionally and
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: just jump ahead instead of working through things. It'd be
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: much easier to not just jump ahead and still do
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: the same work as if there were voices in your head.
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: Right then it would be to block out millions of
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: voices at all times.
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: Bear Yeah, I guess the only thing I have to
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: that is you don't know what you don't know, Like
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: you don't know who your blind spots are. So when
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: you are jumping forward you don't know anything. You feel
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: like you've rationally formulated the entire decision and be like, oh, okay, I'm.
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: Gonna jump here, jump forward here. What would you guys do?
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: I think I'm with you will taking the mind reading.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: I'm audi time traveling. I don't.
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: Yeah, if you listen to everyone talk about you all
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: day wanting to go crazy too, you're just gonna be
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: resemful for the rest of your life. It might help
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: you out in some cases, but more than it's gonna suck.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: Game shows a lot of positives.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: There's positives, but if you're like you get noise, right,
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: you getting nore noise so much, but eventually if you
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: hear it every single day, like Let's say I'm in
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: a bad place and I'm like, for whatever reason in
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: my head taking it out on you.
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: You're gonna feel some.
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: Type of way about me knowing that I don't know that,
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: knowing that I don't know that you know that you
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: can read my mind. So now you're like holding some
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: sort of like resistance towards me. Well at this moment,
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: are you just not gonna tell me that you're able
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: to like read minds. I guess like you could tell
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: me that. It's like, I mean, if you if you
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: have the ability to read minds, people need to keep
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: it in the back pocket for a minute, find out
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: where people really stand, and then you can tell the
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: people that deserve to know.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: I guess right, Yeah, I'm not gonna be like, hey, boys,
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: I can read minds.
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: But you're saying like if I project on you and
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: I I don't know and you don't know that I know,
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: and it's like, how are you handling blah blah blah.
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: It's like, I mean, we can everybody projects stuff all
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: the time. We're doing it in the batter' doing the
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: show right now. You're listening to me talk right now.
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: But as I'm talking in the back of Jack's head.
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: He's going, fucking Tennessee balls. I can't believe the balls lost.
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: The balls fucking lost. Help we not beat Alabama that
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: first half? And that is being talked about over and over.
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: So how are you going to be present to me
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: talking right now? When you got what I'm you got
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: to dial it in on know who you're talking to? Yeah,
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: because you're thinking.
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: You're head out mother, You're gonna figure out schizophrenia. My man,
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: this is a hypothetical question. I know I can say why.
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: I can legit in my head.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: I see how it could drive you crazy, Like this
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: is driving you crazy right now. I was trying to
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: make the best decision, and I truly immerse myself in
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: the twisted question because I want to make the best decision.
- 1:13:53Speaker 7: There is no best decision. It's whatever you make it.
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: It's like, ultimately, no matter what, it's whatever you make it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: I get it.
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: Well, optimism, yes, I get what you're saying.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: Disagree on the word. I am mad.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: I'm just like you just keep using the optimism part
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: for the mine reading.
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: Dan.
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: I'm like, you could easily do that with the time
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: travel thing and have it be more beneficial of your
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: life without as many bumps in the road.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: I trust me. I understand that to me.
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: And I was like, no way, like me, I'm not
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: trying to get you on board with the mine reading.
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: And I'm like, Okay, he chose this thing. That's all good.
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: But you're like you're thinking like, no, bro, you're not
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: choosing the best decision.
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: And I'm like, that's not it does it doesn't matter.
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: I understand.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: And there's nothing else I can say right now to
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: make it seem like I'm not falling apart. So I'm
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: gonna move I'm gonna move on.
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: Okay, I gotta just more. Guess what we can make you.
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: You might be sweating a little bit right now, a

- 1:15:16Speaker 7: Just know that the viscosity in Duke Cannon is superior

- 1:16:01Speaker 6: I love that dude. That fires me up. It does
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: smell fantastic, and the.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: Little you always you never bring up the little, the
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: biggest brick of soap beause people don't usually use bricks
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: of soap. But you just put it in that little
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: coosier or whatever that thing is that SuDS you up
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: real nice. And that is where the loof of that's
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: a that's the world.
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: I was looking for a.
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: Loofah, like a loof of cakes or something, yeah, the best,
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: because I would think to myself, I gotta just take
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: it out every time. But then I learned somebody I
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: forget who was, maybe you, maybe somebody else, like, hey,
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: you know it's a loofah, right, Like it can get
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: what and you can scrub.
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: You don't have to take it out of the case.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: You're a genius.
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: And you when you when you get in the shower.
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: It's like a little bit of a competition. Like I
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: wonder how fast you get this big aus brick of
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: soap to a regular sized business.
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: I'm thinking, this thing's too big.
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: I'm having to like grab the I'm having to like
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: push my thumb up so I can get a little
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: so I can get a little revere a leverage and
- 1:16:48Speaker 7: squeeze it up.
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: And out and then once I learned that, you know,
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: this ship is a loof keep it in there, Yeah,
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: keep it in there.
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: Should we get to uh, c J. Stroud, do we
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: have any more fun topics to talk about?
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: That's in the shout out?
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: Is in our goods Our pet peeves are in our
- 1:17:06Speaker 7: ship to get you beat are bad the fucking pet peeve.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: Don't be a pumpkins don't be a pumpkin like. Don't
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: be a vibe hater. Don't be a negative pater guy. Yeah,
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: don't be a festive hater.
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: The positive is I think, Hey, rides and whatever we
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: were saying in are good.
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: But CJ.
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: Stroud, big time quarterback, best rookie quarterback out right now,
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: no question.
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: Excited to talk to him. He's gonna understand the assignment.
- 1:17:29Speaker 7: We have tear talk coming with him, best Halloween candy
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: to get us in the to get us in the
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: vibe again backstretch. We're trying to get the home plate
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: here with with spook tober, tear talk, Halloween candy. We're
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: gonna ask himbout the shittiest moment. Probably I know in
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: my brain I'm gonna ask Hi about shittiest moments a
- 1:17:46Speaker 7: rookie year. So far, that'll be the dudewife's question. And
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: other than that, we'll feel we'll feel it out along
- 1:17:50Speaker 7: the way. I think he's got a good personality. I'm
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: excited to talk to him.
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: And I actually forgot to mention this. I think I
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: believe I have breaking news that will come out in
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: the next couple of weeks.
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: Oh, next couple of days. Excuse me?
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: Oh well, Levis will start the Tennessee Titans, no Atlanta Falcons.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: I'm telling you.
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: Will Levis breaking news, busting with the boys. Need the
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: clip right now, busting with the boys, breaking this Taylorowan,
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Taylor Rappaport, Willie Levis is starting against the Atlanta Falcons.
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: That's big. That's big if it's true, big, if true,
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: if true. I think you said breaking news is gonna.
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: Come out in breaking news, I will be breaking news.
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: But my sources are not the most reliable. They're reliable,
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: but not to a point where I'm like, this is
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: fan just yes, I'm just letting you know that Will
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: Levis will probably start this week against the Atlanta Falcons
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: in the Houston oiler uniforms.
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: So think about that. What about that? As we're getting
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: to see J. Stroud. Let's kick it off, c J Stroud, CJ.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: What's up man?
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: What's up?
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: Bro? Doing?
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: Good man? How are you?
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: I'm good man, blessed?
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: I love that? Are we are?
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: We rolling?
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:18:59Speaker 5: There's three people in this buy, so let's give around
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: of a plus.
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: CJ.
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: Sdrug best quarterback of the house state history, already proven
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: best quarterback of all time. Brother, Listen, getting drafted by
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: the Houston Texans. I know you're sitting there and the
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: PR guys are sitting right behind the computer right now
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: trying to tell you what to say and not to say.
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: When you get drafted by Houston, people were saying the franchise, like,
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: franchise might be dead, a lot of issues. You've come
- 1:19:20Speaker 5: in and have truly played incredible. Yes, really, what was
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: what was the vibe when you got drafts where people
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: like Houston or were they like fired up for you?
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: I know my inner circle like and including me, I
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: was excited.
- 1:19:35Speaker 9: I've always loved challenges and loved new things to work
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: on and to be better at.
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: And I haven't been anywhere where.
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: We've been bad, so it was kind of new, uh,
- 1:19:46Speaker 9: and just being honest with myself, the situation I saw.
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: I knew there's a lot of work was gonna be
- 1:19:51Speaker 9: how to be made so and I was inducting from that.
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: And so me and my family, we were really excited, man,
- 1:19:56Speaker 9: because not only was it a new opportunity to flip
- 1:19:59Speaker 9: something around, but Houston is a great city.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: And I didn't want to live in the middle of
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: nowhere anymore.
- 1:20:03Speaker 9: So, which columbs isn't, but I didn't want to live
- 1:20:05Speaker 9: in the Midwest no more.
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: So it was good to be into a city that
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: was kind of.
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: What they were proud of being who they were, and
- 1:20:13Speaker 9: I was ready for them to rep detections at that point.
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: So that's what my goal was.
- 1:20:17Speaker 9: And I feel like I'm compting that a little bit.
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: We got a lot more to go in the tank.
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: So, dude, you really have You've had a You've had
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: an incredible year thus far as a rookie. And I
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: just use the word surprising in like an impressed way,
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: like it's been very impressive to see you play and
- 1:20:36Speaker 7: how everything is unfolded for you when you got drafted
- 1:20:39Speaker 7: to Houston. I know you haven't played anywhere else in
- 1:20:41Speaker 7: the NFL, but what do you feel like the organization
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: and the staff and the culture has kind of done
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: to transition you into the NFL. Because you hear you
- 1:20:49Speaker 7: hear it every year when rookie quarterbacks they play right away,
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: they struggle, they do this, it's almost like doing them
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: a disservice to play them right away. What do you
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: feel like that organization and staff has done to help
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: you transition so well to the to the NFL.
- 1:21:05Speaker 9: I really believe that they had a plan for me
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: when I got in here, not only just myself, but
- 1:21:11Speaker 9: just like the scheme that we run. Bobby Slugroc has
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: done a great job. He coming from the forty nine
- 1:21:17Speaker 9: ers with Kyle Shanahan, so we run the West Coast offense,
- 1:21:20Speaker 9: and he.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: Did a great job of putting pieces together.
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: That kind of fit my playing style on top of
- 1:21:25Speaker 9: the offensive scheme. And then coach did really well along
- 1:21:29Speaker 9: with our receiver coach Ben and Draw Johnson, our quarterback
- 1:21:32Speaker 9: coach or coach Jake morland O, Lion coach coach Strawson,
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: We've all kind of bought into this new scheme. Uh
- 1:21:39Speaker 9: So that was kind of testament to what he's done
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: over with Kyle and Kyle Hinahan with the Niners and
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: brought it here and kind of did his own twist
- 1:21:48Speaker 9: to it, which has been great. But man, I really
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: believe that, Man, you don't. I don't believe that you
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: kind of lose talent once you become.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: To the league.
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: I think either you work hard or you're just in
- 1:21:57Speaker 9: the You're you either don't work hard, or you just
- 1:22:00Speaker 9: go onto a bad situation. So I really don't think
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: it's in between. So for me, no matter what the
- 1:22:06Speaker 9: situation was, it was never gonna be on me. I
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: was just gonna work really hard to make sure that
- 1:22:10Speaker 9: this thing went the right way.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: When you think leadership, when you think about the quarterback
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: position as an automatic leader, you're basically guaranteed us see
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: on your chest. And you're walking into coming from a
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: college locker room where everyone's hanging out the boys. You
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: guys are all kind of going out on the weekends
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: doing your thing. Now you're in the NFL, where you know,
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: nine ten year vets are married, they got multiple kids
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: and stuff like that. How did you approach the process
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: of becoming a leader in that locker room.
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: Yeah, for me, I wanted to let it be known
- 1:22:37Speaker 9: when I first got drafted, like, I don't want anything
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: to be given to me on earn everything and for
- 1:22:42Speaker 9: me coming from a place like a house state like,
- 1:22:44Speaker 9: that's how it was there and that's why I feel
- 1:22:47Speaker 9: like I was able to grip that locker room and
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: to fall in love with me and understanding that I
- 1:22:54Speaker 9: was a natural born leader, not just somebody who was
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: just a quarterback. So I was kind of like the
- 1:22:58Speaker 9: same thought process here with was gonna come here and
- 1:23:00Speaker 9: try to not just win guys over, but make them
- 1:23:03Speaker 9: trust me, not on the field but off So just
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: spending time with guys, building core relationships and not just
- 1:23:11Speaker 9: the small conversations on just man, how how this doing,
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: and not really caring and not talking about every again,
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: but really just having the conversation with guys and just
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: being myself. I think that I've done a decent job
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: along well with Will. Will is also captain. But something
- 1:23:27Speaker 9: that we could admit to is, man, we weren't giving it.
- 1:23:29Speaker 9: We earned that and we brought a new swagen and
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: new type of mindsetting and to this culture. And I
- 1:23:35Speaker 9: think Demico also has that and that's why he gave
- 1:23:38Speaker 9: us that see on our chest to represent the Texans
- 1:23:41Speaker 9: like we do.
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: So you come from Ohio State, you come from a
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: conference that's the toughest, most competitive conference in the country.
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: You play against some of the best defenses you'll ever see,
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: like the ones in Nebraska.
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: Is the NFL.
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: That is the NFL as big as as big of
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: a jump as you thought it'd be, or is it
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: a little easy years then you thought it'd be.
- 1:24:02Speaker 9: I would say it's like in between. I wouldn't say
- 1:24:05Speaker 9: it's easy nor like super hard. I feel like football
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: is football, And of course the players get better, the
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: windows are smaller, throwers are you got to be more efficient,
- 1:24:15Speaker 9: a lot more accurate. But I mean, I feel like
- 1:24:17Speaker 9: that's the that's the fun part of the game. Like
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: that's what I enjoy. That's what I love, just the
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: grind of like how detailed you got to be to
- 1:24:25Speaker 9: execute your job every play and just go want to
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: know play And I think sometimes as a young player,
- 1:24:31Speaker 9: you can try to do so much on one player
- 1:24:34Speaker 9: really just you you think that you're superman when you
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: come out of college. But for me, I knew that man,
- 1:24:41Speaker 9: I had to grow and I to learn, and I
- 1:24:43Speaker 9: knew that if I put into work, not only would
- 1:24:46Speaker 9: I be good, but I would hopefully be great and
- 1:24:49Speaker 9: leave my guys to victory and leave my guys to
- 1:24:51Speaker 9: be better. And then that's kind of like the mindset
- 1:24:54Speaker 9: I've had was just want to know each play and
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: not trying to put too much on my plate. Control
- 1:24:59Speaker 9: the control, and I don't know, it's easy to say,
- 1:25:01Speaker 9: it's harder to do, but I really try hard to
- 1:25:04Speaker 9: just get on my routine and make sure that I
- 1:25:07Speaker 9: was simplifying everything so I can just play fast on Sundays.
- 1:25:10Speaker 9: And of course, my team around me has done a
- 1:25:13Speaker 9: great job. I have a great marketing team, a great agent,
- 1:25:16Speaker 9: a great manager assistant. I have a great team around
- 1:25:20Speaker 9: me that kind of filter out a lot of stuff
- 1:25:22Speaker 9: so I can just focus on ball, which is a
- 1:25:24Speaker 9: super good thing for me, and a blessing they will.
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: I bet I can read this ad read faster, and
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: you can choke that bottle of water.
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: Bet.

- 1:26:20Speaker 6: Back to C. J.
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: Stroud, when you came from college, you you came from
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: a system that you look to the sideline and you
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: see a cool you know, hardboard, and you look at
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: a couple of pictures and then you know what the
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: play is. What was the process like for you to
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: learn the verbiage and bring it into a huddle and
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: be able to be confident and spew it and not
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: only spew it but know it as well. Was that
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: a difficult thing?
- 1:26:41Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: It was tough, man, because everything, like you said, in
- 1:26:45Speaker 9: college is all.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: Signals, So uh it was.
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: It was even harder learning those signals on my first
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: out to college.
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: And then when you get to lead.
- 1:26:52Speaker 9: You got to throw out it away and get used
- 1:26:54Speaker 9: to that handset and the ear piece that send your
- 1:26:58Speaker 9: your helmet, which is isn't always most clear thing ever,
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: So you kind of just got to get you to
- 1:27:02Speaker 9: like the I would say the accent in there, like
- 1:27:06Speaker 9: it sounds like gibberish sometimes, So you got to really
- 1:27:08Speaker 9: know your plays so you can piece it together.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: And really, you want to tell a story right you're
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: in there.
- 1:27:13Speaker 9: You don't want to just ram through the play and
- 1:27:16Speaker 9: make it seem like it could sound like something else.
- 1:27:19Speaker 9: You want to like tell a story and give it
- 1:27:21Speaker 9: really detailed so guys know exactly what's going on. So
- 1:27:24Speaker 9: that was a really big jump coming from that. And
- 1:27:27Speaker 9: of course in the Big Ten there was a lot
- 1:27:31Speaker 9: of defenses that were like NFL styles, so that kind
- 1:27:34Speaker 9: of helped me as well, kind of going back to
- 1:27:36Speaker 9: your question from the last question, so it was kind
- 1:27:40Speaker 9: of a little bit of both though.
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: I was learning the new.
- 1:27:45Speaker 9: Idea of listening to in the headset to going out
- 1:27:48Speaker 9: there and then looking at the defense from a huddle
- 1:27:52Speaker 9: and not like being out there the whole time and
- 1:27:54Speaker 9: be able to see as you're getting to play.
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: Can I just say something before you asking this question,
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: go ahead. I want to give a shout out to
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: you PR team. They have done a phenomenal job of Hey,
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: this is what you say, this is what you don't say.
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: You seem like you you're doing a great job of
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: being a pro in this moment and kind of trying
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: to decipher that what the show is all about. And
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: you kind of just coming and think, hey, answer it.
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: Don't give him too much, too much BULLETI material or
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: anything like that.
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: Him like, you know, maybe maybe he maybe he needs
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: more credit.
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: Yeah, but he plays plays with too much swack, plays
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: with too much he you know, and he can tell
- 1:28:24Speaker 5: he's meticulous. He's trying to make sure that he doesn't
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: say anything wrong right now. And I love that. That's
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: the thing you should do.
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: I think what I love hearing is when he talks
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: about doing the you know, because I've played on defense,
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: like I'm you know, whether or not wearing the green
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: dot and telling a story, Like as he's talking about
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: the plays, delivering the plays, and like you kind of
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: got to tell a story. It's like when he's sitting there,
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: he's on a knee, talking to his huddle and like
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: giving the energy throughout the play on like we're kind
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: of in this situation some guys, you know, whether you're
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: sticking up your arm here, you're like, you're kind of
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: telling a story. What I want to go back to
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: is you talk about this one and O mentality and
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: you're like, it's easier said than done. Do you have
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: any you know, process or something you lean on, or
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: something you've picked up and learned that you really try
- 1:29:07Speaker 7: and lean into during this, because you're right, it is
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: really hard to go want to know every play, it's
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: hard to forget about a failure you might have had
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: just to play before. Is there anything there or you
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: feel like you've just kind of cultivated this naturally.
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: I would say a little bit of both.
- 1:29:22Speaker 9: I would be lying if I said I've always been
- 1:29:24Speaker 9: kind of cool, calm, like let stuff go, like just
- 1:29:27Speaker 9: being young and amateur. Like probably even before college and
- 1:29:31Speaker 9: going into college, I was very, very like fiery and
- 1:29:36Speaker 9: I didn't take no bs like I.
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: Just was was. That's just who I was, and I
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: still am that way.
- 1:29:41Speaker 9: But I know how to kind of put that to
- 1:29:44Speaker 9: the side when it's not necessary, which is important, especially
- 1:29:47Speaker 9: as a quarterback. Everybody's looking at you when stuff hits
- 1:29:50Speaker 9: the fans. So for me, I mean, I always lean
- 1:29:52Speaker 9: on my faith and I try to pray through things
- 1:29:55Speaker 9: and just have like some breathing exercises that I do.
- 1:29:58Speaker 9: But when those things, I mean, those things usually work.
- 1:30:02Speaker 9: But I also kind of just understand man, like thinking
- 1:30:06Speaker 9: about the last play, like what benefit does that do me?
- 1:30:10Speaker 9: What what is that going to help in the long
- 1:30:13Speaker 9: run in the future, So you might as well just
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: throw it away and go to the next play, because
- 1:30:18Speaker 9: I'm king of like man man after the game rewatching
- 1:30:22Speaker 9: a bad clip ten times, like Man, I should have
- 1:30:25Speaker 9: did that, I should did this.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: I mean, when you're moving out the speed.
- 1:30:27Speaker 9: Of light, Man, And you know how y'all both played
- 1:30:29Speaker 9: in the league for a long time. At a high level,
- 1:30:32Speaker 9: you're moving so fast sometimes your body and your mind
- 1:30:34Speaker 9: just does things. So you gotta play with your instincts
- 1:30:37Speaker 9: at the same time and give yourself a little bit
- 1:30:39Speaker 9: of credit even when you do make a mistake, because
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: I think as players, we can be our biggest critic,
- 1:30:45Speaker 9: and that's a good thing. But sometime you got to
- 1:30:46Speaker 9: build yourself up, just like you break yourself down when
- 1:30:49Speaker 9: you know you have to keep yourself accountable. So I
- 1:30:51Speaker 9: try to do both, but more so anything, I try
- 1:30:54Speaker 9: to make sure that I have a playing face that
- 1:30:56Speaker 9: I'm saving, even keel about the whole game, because I
- 1:30:59Speaker 9: know that just how your next player could have been,
- 1:31:02Speaker 9: your last play could have been bad, it could have
- 1:31:03Speaker 9: been good too, so you got to let that go
- 1:31:05Speaker 9: as well.
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: So it's a little bit of both.
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: That's man, that's that's that's really well said.
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: It was there there was there a moment, not I
- 1:31:11Speaker 7: know that's like a combination of moments, right, but was
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: there a time where you were losing your cool and
- 1:31:15Speaker 7: maybe you had a conversation kind of made you rethink
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: about it? In zoom out You're like, oh, yeah, I
- 1:31:20Speaker 7: kind of see this. Was it observing somebody like because
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: you said, like I wasn't always like this, like sometimes
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: I wouldn't let shit go. But like, was there was
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: there a loss that you had, like at a game
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: in college or was there a sequence of plays to
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: kind of make you rethink that?
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it was all the way back in college. Man.
- 1:31:37Speaker 9: I actually was just in Columbus this past weekend and
- 1:31:42Speaker 9: I was talking to my running back coach, Tony Alford,
- 1:31:46Speaker 9: and at the time, like you know, you see your
- 1:31:49Speaker 9: buddies on the other side of the country who stayed home,
- 1:31:52Speaker 9: or like you see some guys that you felt better
- 1:31:54Speaker 9: than playing well and like the time I was a
- 1:31:56Speaker 9: plan as a freshman and like being myself, Like man,
- 1:31:59Speaker 9: I like, like I know I wasn't a player for Justin,
- 1:32:02Speaker 9: but like I feel like, man, we were up about
- 1:32:04Speaker 9: a lot, like I should have got in and stuff
- 1:32:05Speaker 9: like that, and I was like, man, I'm ready to
- 1:32:07Speaker 9: go home, like I'm tired of Columbus. I want to
- 1:32:09Speaker 9: I want to leave, like I want to do this,
- 1:32:11Speaker 9: I want to do that. You know, you're just talking.
- 1:32:13Speaker 9: I remember I sat down for like three hours with
- 1:32:15Speaker 9: my running back coach after practice in the freezing code,
- 1:32:18Speaker 9: and we were just talking, man, just about everything. And
- 1:32:21Speaker 9: so like I go back to that moment and I
- 1:32:23Speaker 9: was kind of like a really big moment for me
- 1:32:26Speaker 9: to just a mature as a man. And he was
- 1:32:29Speaker 9: just being honest with me that whole time, and he
- 1:32:31Speaker 9: really was just saying, man, comparison is a thief for joy.
- 1:32:33Speaker 9: My dad used to always tell me that as a kid,
- 1:32:36Speaker 9: like comparing yourself to somebody on social media, especially in
- 1:32:40Speaker 9: the social media day and age where everybody's posting their
- 1:32:42Speaker 9: wings and victories and a lot of his fate. Like
- 1:32:46Speaker 9: back then, when my dad was telling me, he wasn't
- 1:32:48Speaker 9: so alarming to me because I was just a kid
- 1:32:51Speaker 9: at the time. But when my coach said that, it
- 1:32:53Speaker 9: made me think about when my dad used to tell me,
- 1:32:55Speaker 9: and man, you compare yourself to others. Man, you don't
- 1:32:58Speaker 9: really get to love your life. I love what you're
- 1:33:00Speaker 9: going through, and you have to go through some type
- 1:33:02Speaker 9: of struggle to be great, I mean anything. So that
- 1:33:05Speaker 9: was a moment where like, man, it was like all
- 1:33:07Speaker 9: made since and then I started getting a lot more mature,
- 1:33:10Speaker 9: a lot more.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: I started calming down more.
- 1:33:12Speaker 6: That's amazing.
- 1:33:13Speaker 5: That is incredible. You talk about your relationship with your
- 1:33:15Speaker 5: running back coach in high school. Have you been able
- 1:33:17Speaker 5: to find a similar type of relationship in the NFL
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: with one of your coaches now that you're able to
- 1:33:22Speaker 5: lean on from an emotional standpoint when things don't go well,
- 1:33:25Speaker 5: when you have a three and out or you make
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: a bad pass or something like that. Is there any
- 1:33:28Speaker 5: time or any coach on that staff that you're like, hey,
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: I just give me a second kind of vent and
- 1:33:33Speaker 5: talk a little bit.
- 1:33:35Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean our quarterback coach Rod Johnson. He's always
- 1:33:38Speaker 9: right there. He's somebody that I've known since high school.
- 1:33:42Speaker 9: I mean, he was my leader of loving coach when
- 1:33:43Speaker 9: I was in high school. I was like sixteen, so
- 1:33:46Speaker 9: for it to come full circle is kind of crazy.
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: So he's always right there.
- 1:33:52Speaker 9: I got Davis and case Keenum, They're always right there
- 1:33:55Speaker 9: to talk about a play or to tell me, man,
- 1:33:58Speaker 9: like you could you can do anything right there, like
- 1:34:00Speaker 9: you got to just get rid of it whatever, like
- 1:34:02Speaker 9: bad or good. They always try to get be honest
- 1:34:04Speaker 9: with me, which I really appreciate and for me even
- 1:34:07Speaker 9: bigger like off the field, I have a lot of
- 1:34:10Speaker 9: support because sometimes man, you know, y'all played this game
- 1:34:13Speaker 9: at a high level. So you know when you get home,
- 1:34:16Speaker 9: sometimes you don't want to talk about ball.
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: You want to talk about anything else.
- 1:34:19Speaker 9: And so I have a good friend of mine who
- 1:34:21Speaker 9: helps me just talk about certain things that I need
- 1:34:23Speaker 9: to get off my chest and things like that.
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: So that's some.
- 1:34:26Speaker 9: Advice for you guys out there who are coming into
- 1:34:29Speaker 9: this league man for next year, or if you haven't
- 1:34:31Speaker 9: done that yet, just have somebody that you convent to
- 1:34:34Speaker 9: because this.
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: World will tell you how bad you are.
- 1:34:37Speaker 9: And you'll start listening and if you don't, if you
- 1:34:40Speaker 9: don't have something to kind of get out of that way.
- 1:34:44Speaker 9: So for me, I mean those are being some big
- 1:34:46Speaker 9: pieces for me to be successful.
- 1:34:48Speaker 5: You brought up a home before you do, before you
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: do that segment. You brought up being back in Columbus
- 1:34:52Speaker 5: this past weekend obviously a big win against the Nickney Lions.
- 1:34:57Speaker 5: What is uh, what's your expectation going into the third
- 1:35:01Speaker 5: week of November this year? What's your you know what?
- 1:35:04Speaker 5: What's your expectation for Ohio State this year?
- 1:35:09Speaker 9: A big expectations, man, just like every year. Man for us,
- 1:35:11Speaker 9: it's natty or nothing. Man, I know you being a
- 1:35:16Speaker 9: team up North guy. You have your own opinion today
- 1:35:19Speaker 9: and I respect I respect it.
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: And yeah, I can't talk too much.
- 1:35:21Speaker 9: I didn't beat y'all, so high respect for those guys
- 1:35:25Speaker 9: over there. I don't like y'all, but it's respect. And
- 1:35:28Speaker 9: I think that team over there. Talking to the DC
- 1:35:33Speaker 9: Mike who's with the Ravens now my first time actually
- 1:35:36Speaker 9: talking to him and since we played him in twenty
- 1:35:38Speaker 9: twenty one, and he had a lot of respect for me.
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: Seeing a JOBU I got to see.
- 1:35:43Speaker 9: Hutchinson, and it's all respect after you after you're done
- 1:35:46Speaker 9: playing in that game, because we know how hard that
- 1:35:49Speaker 9: game is if you've played in there. So it's not
- 1:35:52Speaker 9: from respect For me. I'm still a little bitter, a
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: little bitter from it, just being honest. But uh, this year,
- 1:35:59Speaker 9: I hope we get you guys and we get to
- 1:36:00Speaker 9: go to the big championship and win a Natty Man.
- 1:36:03Speaker 9: So that's to go for us every year. But that's
- 1:36:06Speaker 9: the big game every year. So I'm excited to see
- 1:36:09Speaker 9: what happens this year.
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: CJ.
- 1:36:11Speaker 7: We got a segment presented by Dude Wives. It's the
- 1:36:15Speaker 7: It's there we go. Dry butttholes are a thing of
- 1:36:18Speaker 7: the past. It's all over with Dude Wives cleaning up
- 1:36:21Speaker 7: at the end of your ship. What has been your
- 1:36:23Speaker 7: shittiest moment of your rookie year so far?
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: Mm, that's a that's a great that's a great, great
- 1:36:30Speaker 4: question for me.
- 1:36:33Speaker 9: I've had a couple, you know, you always get a couple,
- 1:36:35Speaker 9: but I would say maybe my preseason game against the Patriots.
- 1:36:40Speaker 9: That first my first drive, it was like third and
- 1:36:42Speaker 9: twenty six and like me, being as hungry and aggressive eye,
- 1:36:45Speaker 9: I'm like, man, I'm gonna get the first down and
- 1:36:47Speaker 9: my got meals from the Patriots shout out to him, great,
- 1:36:50Speaker 9: great player. They were in like this one one plug
- 1:36:53Speaker 9: look or really one lurk whether the guy was robbing
- 1:36:57Speaker 9: my eyes and he was guarding our tight end and
- 1:36:59Speaker 9: our tight end block. So he freed up and I
- 1:37:01Speaker 9: didn't notice, and he jumped right in front of it
- 1:37:03Speaker 9: and picked it off. So that was a good learning
- 1:37:06Speaker 9: point for me. It's just thirty twenty six. Sometimes you
- 1:37:08Speaker 9: got to lick your wounds to take the check down.
- 1:37:11Speaker 9: So that was good learning for me. So that was
- 1:37:13Speaker 9: probably one of the worst moments I had. I'm trying
- 1:37:17Speaker 9: to think of a funny one that I've had, Like
- 1:37:19Speaker 9: off the field, did you.
- 1:37:22Speaker 7: Get any rookie hazing anything with veteran Not that it's
- 1:37:25Speaker 7: like a shitty I'm pissed off moment, but like, yeah,
- 1:37:28Speaker 7: like you got got by one of the boys.
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: I've gotten fined a lot for like for being on TV.
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: I don't know, like.
- 1:37:38Speaker 9: On TV, get fine, yeah, workies on TV? I guess
- 1:37:41Speaker 9: as a no no. So I got fined this weekend
- 1:37:43Speaker 9: from being on Game Day. I get fine after every
- 1:37:46Speaker 9: win that we get for being on on with the
- 1:37:51Speaker 9: reporter after the game, pulling them in on certain things.
- 1:37:53Speaker 9: So it's kind of funny to me, but a lot
- 1:37:56Speaker 9: of money right now.
- 1:37:58Speaker 7: If you if you show up on TV TV, what
- 1:38:01Speaker 7: is what's that fine?
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: It's like.
- 1:38:04Speaker 4: It's a band, it's a thousand.
- 1:38:06Speaker 7: Oh my god, they see nothing but dollar.
- 1:38:12Speaker 5: Anny mainstream media show. Watching this show right now, Stop
- 1:38:15Speaker 5: putting CJ. Stroud on the on the TV. Save my
- 1:38:17Speaker 5: man some money.
- 1:38:18Speaker 6: Yeah, he can come to our podcast, our pod.
- 1:38:21Speaker 5: Let's talk about let's talk the spirit in the holiday
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: of Spooktober. If you don't know what Spootober it is,
- 1:38:26Speaker 5: it's funny a word for October, which is Halloween.
- 1:38:28Speaker 6: Dude.
- 1:38:28Speaker 5: The fall has hit, the leaves are falling, the weather
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: is breaking into beautiful time, especially in Houston where it's
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: a little swampy down there.
- 1:38:35Speaker 6: Wet's talk.
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: Let's take it back to when you're a little kid.
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: We're gonna do a thing, a segment called Tier Talk,
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: and it is going to be your top three favorite
- 1:38:42Speaker 5: Halloween candies. We like to start from the bottom three
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: and go up to one, and once you finish, everybody
- 1:38:49Speaker 5: on the bus will give a one word answer describing
- 1:38:51Speaker 5: how we feel about your picks.
- 1:38:52Speaker 6: Are you ready for that?
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: You want?
- 1:38:53Speaker 6: You want us to go first?
- 1:38:55Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:38:55Speaker 4: First off, you want to go first?
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: Go ahead, okay.
- 1:38:59Speaker 5: My Tier three is going to go to when you're hungry,
- 1:39:04Speaker 5: you're a little you're a little aggressive, you're a little
- 1:39:06Speaker 5: bit angry. And what do you pop in there? You
- 1:39:08Speaker 5: pop into Snickers I think as Snickers, and especially the
- 1:39:11Speaker 5: fun size. For whatever reason, it's a nice little snack.
- 1:39:13Speaker 5: You just pop it in your mouth real quick. It's
- 1:39:14Speaker 5: a it's a fun, delicious treat everybody can enjoy. My
- 1:39:21Speaker 5: Tier two is gonna go to uh uh, sour Skittles,
- 1:39:26Speaker 5: preferably the little tiny bag. And I know the quantity
- 1:39:29Speaker 5: of them is only like six or seven. However, I
- 1:39:32Speaker 5: think if you have a bunch of those little sour Skittles,
- 1:39:35Speaker 5: you start doing the big a little quick. If you
- 1:39:37Speaker 5: want to say policy, you're more than welcome to again
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: on that. I think you have that. And then all
- 1:39:42Speaker 5: of a sudden it turns into a sweet little treat
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: as well, and down the gullet it goes. And my
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: Tier one, not sure why, it might be the branding
- 1:39:48Speaker 5: they've done since the nineties two thousands, they've done an
- 1:39:50Speaker 5: amazing job of it is gonna go to uh, the
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: Rese's pieces. I'm not a chocolate guy. I'm more of
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: a gummy guy than I am a chocolate guy. But
- 1:39:58Speaker 5: the Res's always did a f nominal job of taking
- 1:40:02Speaker 5: the bite out, making a spooky commercial and really making
- 1:40:05Speaker 5: you feel like the Reese's Peanut butter Cup is the
- 1:40:08Speaker 5: staple the franchise player of Halloween. I'm sorry Reese's Peanut
- 1:40:13Speaker 5: butter Cup, not Reese's PC. Reese's Peanut butter Cup. Thank
- 1:40:16Speaker 5: you for that.
- 1:40:16Speaker 6: Okay, that is a big clarification change. Yeah, that's a
- 1:40:19Speaker 6: big change. CJ.
- 1:40:21Speaker 5: Do you want to give one word to describe how
- 1:40:22Speaker 5: you feel about my picks?
- 1:40:25Speaker 4: I would say solid. That's solid.
- 1:40:27Speaker 6: It's a keyword in this bus. Good. Oh good, I'll
- 1:40:31Speaker 6: go with good. Mitch. What's your word? Um, veteran, I
- 1:40:37Speaker 6: have been doing a long time, thirty two years old, Willie.
- 1:40:40Speaker 5: Let's see what you got?
- 1:40:40Speaker 7: My Tier three and I don't think they get enough love.
- 1:40:44Speaker 7: I think it's uh could potentially been an unpopular opinion,
- 1:40:47Speaker 7: but I want to give them their flowers because I
- 1:40:49Speaker 7: enjoy a nice handful of candy corn. I'm a candy
- 1:40:53Speaker 7: corn guy. I love the candy corn. I love the shapes.
- 1:40:55Speaker 7: I love the colors, like, give me the candy corn.
- 1:40:57Speaker 7: I see that face, EJ. That's okay, my tier too.
- 1:41:02Speaker 7: Peanut eminem's. I love peanut eminems. And when you get
- 1:41:05Speaker 7: them in that little fun sized back against like another,
- 1:41:07Speaker 7: it's like another fistful no pause, peanut ms. My Tier
- 1:41:12Speaker 7: one is in the Reus, the Reese's family. But it's
- 1:41:16Speaker 7: a fast break, dude, getting fast breaks. They are the
- 1:41:20Speaker 7: fucking best. That's my top Halloween candy of all time.
- 1:41:24Speaker 7: It's the fast Break And that concludes my tier talk CJ,
- 1:41:29Speaker 7: yuck average Okay, Mitch almost it's the candy corns.
- 1:41:40Speaker 6: Are you guys?
- 1:41:40Speaker 10: The candy corn the fast breaking fast Break might be
- 1:41:43Speaker 10: the best candy of all time.
- 1:41:48Speaker 7: That is yeah, fast break is well, yeah, you gotta
- 1:41:50Speaker 7: get you one, brother, Okay, all right, whenever you're ready, brother.
- 1:41:56Speaker 9: Okay, I'm just clarification. I'm not a big candy guy,
- 1:42:00Speaker 9: Like I don't like candy. I really, I was a
- 1:42:02Speaker 9: born kid.
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: I guess. Uh.
- 1:42:04Speaker 7: But if you're a protein bar guy, I hope he
- 1:42:06Speaker 7: just names all protein bars.
- 1:42:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:42:10Speaker 9: If I had to pick, I'm gonna go jolly Ranchers,
- 1:42:15Speaker 9: Blue Raspberry and great those are my top two water.
- 1:42:20Speaker 9: Number two, I'm gonna go Starburst. Pink is my favorite,
- 1:42:23Speaker 9: pink and red. You can't go wrong with good starbursts.
- 1:42:27Speaker 9: And then I was an angry kid. I was just kidding,
- 1:42:29Speaker 9: but uh, I'm gonna.
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: Go with Snickers to be my number.
- 1:42:33Speaker 5: One hyphenated not hyphenated rainbow.
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: I'll say, okay, Mitch, Okay, yeah, sure, taking a your
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: own guy.
- 1:42:57Speaker 5: And is one of our season Ohio State guy as well.
- 1:43:02Speaker 6: All right, Mitch, yeah, all right, Mitch.
- 1:43:06Speaker 5: Hey, c J Strad the best quarterback in the hot
- 1:43:08Speaker 5: state history? Do you have a question you do you
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: have a question for CJ?
- 1:43:12Speaker 7: I know you are an Ohio State fan, but you
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: got something fired up for him.
- 1:43:16Speaker 10: I guess a question I would have for you, it
- 1:43:18Speaker 10: would be stepping back to Ohio State days. What was
- 1:43:20Speaker 10: it like being in that wide receiver room with Gary
- 1:43:23Speaker 10: Wilson Olive and Jake budd Well, Marvin Harrison like all
- 1:43:29Speaker 10: those guys.
- 1:43:35Speaker 9: Nah, of course, of man, it was a blessing bro like.
- 1:43:37Speaker 9: Not only did did they helped me a lot? I
- 1:43:40Speaker 9: feel like I helped him and we were kind of
- 1:43:43Speaker 9: like ying and yang.
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: Like we just worked together really well.
- 1:43:46Speaker 9: I had a natural connection in chemistry right when I
- 1:43:49Speaker 9: stepped on campus with him, and I definitely appreciate like
- 1:43:53Speaker 9: the grind that they taught me to put in to
- 1:43:55Speaker 9: be great in his game, especially Marv, Like Marv Man,
- 1:43:58Speaker 9: he's the opinion to me, just a workaholic.
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: Uh. And then Garrett, like.
- 1:44:04Speaker 9: He's just naturally just super great at everything in basketball, baseball,
- 1:44:09Speaker 9: table ten is like you name it is good at it.
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you get him a ball, he's gonna he'snna make
- 1:44:14Speaker 4: it happen.
- 1:44:15Speaker 9: And Chris he's silk man, silky smooth, smooth the other
- 1:44:19Speaker 9: side of the pillow. And he's just that type of
- 1:44:22Speaker 9: swag that you just like you feel comfort around because
- 1:44:25Speaker 9: you know he gonna make a play. And then Jackson, Uh,
- 1:44:28Speaker 9: he's just a dog like he's somebody who just loves
- 1:44:30Speaker 9: football and he does. I've never seen him get guard
- 1:44:34Speaker 9: one on one like and get locked up ever in
- 1:44:35Speaker 9: my life. Like, I don't think I've ever seen him
- 1:44:38Speaker 9: not make a play uh in a game and excited
- 1:44:40Speaker 9: to see what he does in Seattle. So man, I
- 1:44:42Speaker 9: missed him boys, and it was a blessing to be
- 1:44:45Speaker 9: in such a talented room. At the time, man, we
- 1:44:47Speaker 9: were just young kids figuring it out and and now
- 1:44:49Speaker 9: we're all in the league now, so it's it's pretty cool.
- 1:44:51Speaker 9: And Marvin's Marvel's next. So excited to see the future
- 1:44:55Speaker 9: for everybody.
- 1:44:56Speaker 6: I don't know how many questions you have left to
- 1:44:57Speaker 6: have two questions. Yeah, I'm so man.
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: Yeah, Marvin Harrison Jr. Let's say you guys don't make
- 1:45:06Speaker 5: the playoffs. Would you want if if Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 1:45:11Speaker 5: Is available when your team picks next year, is that
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: the number one guy you'd like on your team out
- 1:45:16Speaker 5: of everybody in the draft.
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: I'm playing GM.
- 1:45:19Speaker 9: Uh yeah, man, of course I gotta say my guy
- 1:45:22Speaker 9: Marvu And I wouldn't just even if he was in
- 1:45:25Speaker 9: my teammate. You turn on the film, you hear the
- 1:45:29Speaker 9: word of mouth of everybody on how hard he works,
- 1:45:31Speaker 9: what type of guy is, And I know for him,
- 1:45:35Speaker 9: like everybody always talks about his family and like his pops,
- 1:45:38Speaker 9: and he gets it from that. If I be honest,
- 1:45:41Speaker 9: I would say his dad set the foundation and he
- 1:45:44Speaker 9: let him go, and Marvin loves this game for himself
- 1:45:48Speaker 9: and for me, that kind of that kind of opens
- 1:45:51Speaker 9: the eyes like Man, this dude's gonna be great because
- 1:45:53Speaker 9: you hear like stories from guys from great players, kids
- 1:45:56Speaker 9: they want to be great because they want to be
- 1:45:58Speaker 9: better than their dad or whatever.
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: The kids may be.
- 1:45:59Speaker 9: Marvin to be great because he wants to be great. So, man,
- 1:46:02Speaker 9: if I had to pick, I'll definitely pick Marvin for sure.
- 1:46:04Speaker 9: He's a top three pick. In my opinion, he should
- 1:46:07Speaker 9: be the first God drafted. But that's not for me
- 1:46:09Speaker 9: to decide.
- 1:46:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I love that. My last question is going to
- 1:46:13Speaker 5: be about an AFC South Divisional opponent. It's going to
- 1:46:18Speaker 5: be about the Tennessee Titans. This week they're wearing the
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: throwback Oiler uniforms. Where is your stance on who should
- 1:46:25Speaker 5: be able to wear the Oilers' uniforms?
- 1:46:29Speaker 9: I would say it would have to be us. I mean,
- 1:46:31Speaker 9: I mean, we're we're Houston, so I don't really know
- 1:46:37Speaker 9: too much about the rivalry or too much about like
- 1:46:39Speaker 9: the color situation.
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: I know that.
- 1:46:42Speaker 9: We were they were here and then moved to Tennessee
- 1:46:45Speaker 9: and then Mischief Ganieri picked up the team, So I
- 1:46:49Speaker 9: would say, just like whoever started in that home city,
- 1:46:52Speaker 9: and I think those colors are dope. Like baby Los
- 1:46:54Speaker 9: my favorite color. So if you're listening to mister, let's
- 1:46:57Speaker 9: go back to baby blue. But nah, man, I would
- 1:47:01Speaker 9: say to us, but uh man today man their colors like,
- 1:47:04Speaker 9: let's play ball.
- 1:47:05Speaker 5: I love that, and let'st I have one hundred percent
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: disagree with you, but we can get into that at
- 1:47:09Speaker 5: a different.
- 1:47:09Speaker 6: Time because we'd have them on the bus in the
- 1:47:12Speaker 6: off We'll have him the bus in the offseason. Dude,
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: we are I'm fired up for you. I really am.
- 1:47:16Speaker 5: I know I went to Michigan and all that, and
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: I have these dumb jokes about Ohio State quarterbacks being bus.
- 1:47:20Speaker 5: You are really playing at a level that all of Houston, Texas,
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: all Houston Texans can be happy about and be proud about,
- 1:47:28Speaker 5: know that their franchise is on the right on the
- 1:47:29Speaker 5: right path.
- 1:47:30Speaker 6: Man, happy for you.
- 1:47:31Speaker 7: Yeah, I appreciate that a lot. Man, Thank you, CJ.
- 1:47:33Speaker 7: Thanks for coming on man, like legit, I'm a fan.
- 1:47:35Speaker 7: I'm a fan of yours. I'm gonna be room for
- 1:47:37Speaker 7: you the rest of the year. And I think the
- 1:47:39Speaker 7: story that you gave when you were a freshman in
- 1:47:41Speaker 7: college and you had a three hour conversation with your
- 1:47:44Speaker 7: running backs coach and where your mental was I think
- 1:47:47Speaker 7: can relate to any good freshman player that is struggling
- 1:47:52Speaker 7: with wrapping their mind around, patience and waiting on their moment.
- 1:47:56Speaker 7: And I think that is incredible. And I am I'm
- 1:47:59Speaker 7: a fan of yours, so I'm excited.
- 1:48:00Speaker 9: To appreciate that man a fan of y'alls, man being
- 1:48:03Speaker 9: a fan of y'alls for a long time.
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: So I appreciate you all a lot.
- 1:48:05Speaker 6: You'll be on here in the off season.
- 1:48:06Speaker 9: Bro, I can't wait. Yeah, I can't wait. All right,
- 1:48:10Speaker 9: I'll be blessed.
- 1:48:11Speaker 6: Have a good one. He's what a guy? What a guy? Stunt?
- 1:48:18Speaker 5: We still got a round out the rest of this podcast.
- 1:48:20Speaker 5: Let's talk about some news.
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: Hey, c J.
- 1:48:23Speaker 7: Stroud, that's a that's your guy. Yeah, I wanted to
- 1:48:30Speaker 7: switch my word to soft because you're walking around with
- 1:48:32Speaker 7: Jolly Rancher's number one, the blue, the blue one. You're
- 1:48:34Speaker 7: not picking watermelon, and then you're walking around with the what. No,
- 1:48:39Speaker 7: watermelon is the best Jolly Rancher. Yes it is.
- 1:48:42Speaker 4: It's blue raspberry and it's cherry.
- 1:48:45Speaker 6: No, it's watermelon.
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: And you probably like the green apple ones too.
- 1:48:48Speaker 6: Green apple.
- 1:48:49Speaker 7: No, not really, because I'm not a big sour, not
- 1:48:51Speaker 7: a big sour guy unless I'm throwing like a warhead
- 1:48:53Speaker 7: in my mouth or something, I'm trying to get a
- 1:48:54Speaker 7: little spicy during the afternoon.
- 1:48:56Speaker 6: But CJ.
- 1:48:57Speaker 7: Stroud, I'm a fan. I'm a fan of his. I
- 1:49:00Speaker 7: really like he's like he's I don't know, I feel
- 1:49:05Speaker 7: like he's like wise like he's ahead of Yeah, but
- 1:49:09Speaker 7: he's ahead of his time and he's in a he's
- 1:49:12Speaker 7: in a great spot and everything he says, and you
- 1:49:14Speaker 7: can just tell by the way he by the way
- 1:49:16Speaker 7: he basically the whole storytelling thing. Like to me, you
- 1:49:19Speaker 7: just know he's very intentional with the way he tries
- 1:49:22Speaker 7: to mentally go about each and every day.
- 1:49:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree, Yeah, I do.
- 1:49:27Speaker 5: I think I think, uh, he kind of pisses me
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: off that the Texans are going to be good for
- 1:49:31Speaker 5: a long time with him.
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:49:33Speaker 7: Yeah, Like I'm sitting there like I'll be room for
- 1:49:35Speaker 7: you all year, and I'm just thinking like, man, yeah,
- 1:49:37Speaker 7: these dudes, the the AFC South, you got justin Lawrence
- 1:49:41Speaker 7: c J. Stroud, all right, I always say that Trevor,
- 1:49:45Speaker 7: Lauren Ever, Laurence c J. Stroud, Uh, Anthony Richardson, and.
- 1:49:49Speaker 5: Maybe Will Levy, Willy Levy Willy Levy more news. We
- 1:49:52Speaker 5: got two things we gotta talk about because I just
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: got hacked on Twitter. But uh, Pete famill, I obviously
- 1:49:59Speaker 5: didn't pull us from Twitter because I can't. I don't
- 1:50:01Speaker 5: have access to my Twitter right now. But Michigan's staff
- 1:50:03Speaker 5: are Connor Stallion's bought tickets to more than thirty games
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: at eleven bag ten schools over the past three years. Also,
- 1:50:09Speaker 5: video evidence of signeline taping is expected to be sent
- 1:50:12Speaker 5: to the NCAA this week cop by stadium surveillance this year.
- 1:50:19Speaker 5: Could you imagine if Michigan is as good as they
- 1:50:21Speaker 5: are and they're held out of the playoffs this year,
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: I'll fucking.
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: You think that's a possibility? You think that would be
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: their No.
- 1:50:28Speaker 6: Here, here's what I'll understand. Explain in the nutshell what
- 1:50:31Speaker 6: you just read.
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: So what I just read is is that somebody on
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: the staff of the University of Michigan bought thirty tickets
- 1:50:38Speaker 5: over the past three years, and total thirty tickets over
- 1:50:43Speaker 5: the past three years.
- 1:50:44Speaker 6: I can read it again for you if you want. Yeah,
- 1:50:46Speaker 6: I didn't know if he's like bringing our team, maybe
- 1:50:48Speaker 6: that by me all good.
- 1:50:49Speaker 5: Bought more than thirty games wait, bought tickets to more
- 1:50:53Speaker 5: than thirty games at eleven Bay ten schools over.
- 1:50:56Speaker 6: The past three years. Here's what I don't understand. Why
- 1:50:59Speaker 6: is this it's an issue? How it's been illegal since
- 1:51:02Speaker 6: like the early nineties.
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: Yeah, but like that's we're scouting your scouting opponents, Like
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: does that has the SECY not been doing everything wrong
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: for thirty years and all of a sudden, Michigan If
- 1:51:12Speaker 5: this is true, which I don't think.
- 1:51:14Speaker 6: It is, is he taking video footage?
- 1:51:16Speaker 5: Is that apparently there's video surveillance coming out about them
- 1:51:20Speaker 5: essentially taping games.
- 1:51:21Speaker 6: If they're taping, I mean, yeah, that's illegal because.
- 1:51:24Speaker 5: Look, if it is that possible, could like could Michigan
- 1:51:28Speaker 5: be taken out of the playoffs?
- 1:51:30Speaker 6: Could they be? I guess that happens on.
- 1:51:32Speaker 11: What the process is looking like, right, like the ramifications
- 1:51:34Speaker 11: and stuff are for that, because if that would be
- 1:51:38Speaker 11: like extremely like harsh if they were to do that now.
- 1:51:43Speaker 7: Yeah, maybe if anything, they make the playoffs and then
- 1:51:46Speaker 7: they're like, Okay, we're taking it, Like if you guys
- 1:51:48Speaker 7: won the Natty this year, heart, we're taking.
- 1:51:49Speaker 4: Away to the National just take away a couple of wins,
- 1:51:52Speaker 4: but they need.
- 1:51:53Speaker 5: Yeah, but you need the wins to get in the playoffs.
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: This this this thing needs to be figured out at
- 1:51:58Speaker 5: the end of the year, after the seasons or because
- 1:52:01Speaker 5: if they let's say they let's just say hypothetically they
- 1:52:05Speaker 5: were doing this, if they were doing this and then
- 1:52:07Speaker 5: they got caught doing this, they're no longer going to
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: do this now. So you still have to play Penn State,
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: you still to play a house state. You still have
- 1:52:13Speaker 5: to play the Big Ten championship game and then hopefully
- 1:52:15Speaker 5: winning all those games. You have to play two games
- 1:52:17Speaker 5: to win the national championship. If you win the national
- 1:52:19Speaker 5: championship and they're like, all right, you guys cheated or
- 1:52:21Speaker 5: taking your national championship away, there's no way you can
- 1:52:24Speaker 5: say that. Michigan. It's like Reggie Bush getting his heid's
- 1:52:27Speaker 5: been taken away. Like yeah, he got paid, he got money,
- 1:52:29Speaker 5: he got a house, but he still won it.
- 1:52:31Speaker 7: But he spent like he over thirty games to eleven
- 1:52:35Speaker 7: Big Ten teams. Like you don't think even if they didn't, like, okay,
- 1:52:37Speaker 7: they're not going to do it again, like they have
- 1:52:39Speaker 7: the day they have the video they have like the
- 1:52:42Speaker 7: video stuff on teams that you're going to play this
- 1:52:44Speaker 7: year like the Penn State's like number one, because I
- 1:52:47Speaker 7: was talking through on polm tick like how would they
- 1:52:49Speaker 7: do some or how would that happen? And the way simple,
- 1:52:52Speaker 7: how simple is how simply defensive signals are used communicating
- 1:52:57Speaker 7: out to the to the field. Like once you identify
- 1:52:59Speaker 7: what the signals are, like, you're gonna know what coverage
- 1:53:02Speaker 7: you're facing every time. That's the whole check with me game.
- 1:53:04Speaker 7: On the sideline, you check with them if you got
- 1:53:06Speaker 7: something going on. That guy who was buying tickets, they
- 1:53:09Speaker 7: probably did their own study and prep. Figure out the
- 1:53:11Speaker 7: guy in the press box, he's looking at the exact guy.
- 1:53:13Speaker 7: Here's who they change it up with every now and then.
- 1:53:15Speaker 7: Here's the color hat, here's the color shirt. Here's the
- 1:53:17Speaker 7: guy who's wearing the wristband, and he's the one doing
- 1:53:19Speaker 7: the signals. Find that once they get a beat on that,
- 1:53:22Speaker 7: then they know all that check with me stuff, what
- 1:53:24Speaker 7: coverage they're facing every time there that they're approaching the field.
- 1:53:28Speaker 6: Well run game to check too.
- 1:53:29Speaker 5: I still got to win the game. I understand. It's
- 1:53:31Speaker 5: an advantage that essentially, according to you, has been illegal
- 1:53:35Speaker 5: since the nineties, right, Yeah.
- 1:53:36Speaker 7: I heard that the other day, Like The reason it's
- 1:53:38Speaker 7: such a big deal is that was something that was
- 1:53:40Speaker 7: It's not like illegal. They're talking about how it's not
- 1:53:43Speaker 7: illegal in the NFL world, but it's illegal in college
- 1:53:46Speaker 7: football and it's been that way since like nineteen ninety four.
- 1:53:48Speaker 6: Maybe I'm kind of talking on.
- 1:53:49Speaker 5: My Yeah, I mean, that's I hope, I hope that's
- 1:53:53Speaker 5: not real.
- 1:53:54Speaker 7: I probably forty five to seven. You know, I've been
- 1:53:57Speaker 7: saying I was. I was surprised after that ass opening link.
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: But now I.
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: Sleep better at night knowing that, you know, some things
- 1:54:04Speaker 5: could have been things could have been different. There could
- 1:54:07Speaker 5: be guy would be fucking wrecked because this is one
- 1:54:09Speaker 5: of those things like if we're talking about hypothetical snowball events.
- 1:54:12Speaker 5: I keep saying the word hypothetical, but that is the
- 1:54:13Speaker 5: world we're living in right now. If this is a
- 1:54:16Speaker 5: big deal, Horball is gonna be like, I don't need this,
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: I'm gonna go to the NFL. When literally a week ago,
- 1:54:21Speaker 5: two weeks ago, before this news even started to happen,
- 1:54:23Speaker 5: they're talking about making Horrball the highest paid guy and
- 1:54:27Speaker 5: the big ten possibly all of college football. And he's
- 1:54:30Speaker 5: there to stay, which would which fires me up because
- 1:54:34Speaker 5: the guys put the put the product on the field. Yeah,
- 1:54:37Speaker 5: and what it's gonna do with recruiting, what it's gonna do.
- 1:54:39Speaker 5: Our guy's gonna dip. It's just gonna be like we
- 1:54:42Speaker 5: were bad for so long. I don't think I'm just
- 1:54:44Speaker 5: now getting used to them being good.
- 1:54:46Speaker 7: I need to think the momentum wouldn't hurt, Like I
- 1:54:49Speaker 7: think the only thing that hurts the recruiting part is
- 1:54:51Speaker 7: if if Harrball does lea because it could become a
- 1:54:53Speaker 7: really big deal.
- 1:54:53Speaker 5: Yeah, Sharon Moore would be the saving grace there. That
- 1:54:57Speaker 5: is the guy you hire. The guy knows what he's doing,
- 1:54:59Speaker 5: is the see he's the offensive line coach. He is
- 1:55:01Speaker 5: the dude that is, he's that dude. But that being said,
- 1:55:06Speaker 5: he doesn't have the name Jim Harball does. So that
- 1:55:07Speaker 5: takes a dent and recruiting early, and then it's all
- 1:55:09Speaker 5: about developing players after that, which they've shown they can do.
- 1:55:12Speaker 6: So that is a fucking a heartbreaker.
- 1:55:15Speaker 5: If that's the case, I don't think I'm I'm believing
- 1:55:18Speaker 5: in Michigan until truly. It's like so obvious I have
- 1:55:22Speaker 5: no choice but to accept it.
- 1:55:24Speaker 7: I think they should really consider giving Michigan the death penalty.
- 1:55:28Speaker 7: You're such a I think that's just the end of trailer.
- 1:55:33Speaker 6: No, I'm joking. That does suck.
- 1:55:34Speaker 7: Like again, I don't even know if it's just hardball
- 1:55:37Speaker 7: that would get you know, we'd get the penalty on
- 1:55:39Speaker 7: like the whole staff, right.
- 1:55:41Speaker 10: They didn't, Like a couple of years ago, Ohio State
- 1:55:43Speaker 10: get a bunch of wins taken away because of like
- 1:55:45Speaker 10: them selling stuff stuff tattoo.
- 1:55:47Speaker 7: That's just because they knew the entire season. No, they
- 1:55:50Speaker 7: went undefeated that year, but they went the entire season
- 1:55:53Speaker 7: knowing that we're gonna play in any bowl game.
- 1:55:55Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:55:56Speaker 6: It was the next year. I was like, my that
- 1:55:59Speaker 6: was my senior year.
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: But they still got wins taken away, right.
- 1:56:03Speaker 7: Like, I don't know if they got wins taken away,
- 1:56:06Speaker 7: maybe they did.
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: I have no wins taken away as well, Like.
- 1:56:10Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:56:10Speaker 5: That's those things to look at you. That's something for
- 1:56:12Speaker 5: the people in the comments to say.
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: I don't think that. I think taking wins away is
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: kind of dumb.
- 1:56:15Speaker 6: Anyway, Yeah, they would as well. Yeah, they would penalize
- 1:56:21Speaker 6: them in the postseason.
- 1:56:23Speaker 7: God dude, they would take away all you know, they
- 1:56:26Speaker 7: wouldn't be able to play in the Big Ten Championship,
- 1:56:28Speaker 7: they wouldn't be able to play in bowl season, because
- 1:56:29Speaker 7: that's what happened to Uh. I'm not saying they're the
- 1:56:32Speaker 7: same thing, but that was like a thing with OHS
- 1:56:33Speaker 7: State because when I was a senior and they was
- 1:56:36Speaker 7: in trouble and was in trouble and that's when Wisconsin
- 1:56:38Speaker 7: woop th rass and they're like the third team to
- 1:56:40Speaker 7: get in there.
- 1:56:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:56:42Speaker 5: Stuff that is tough stuff on those especially would beat
- 1:56:45Speaker 5: them in the regular season.
- 1:56:46Speaker 6: And other news.
- 1:56:47Speaker 5: As we were breaking for CJ. Stroud to come on
- 1:56:50Speaker 5: this podcast, I uh, I got hacked on Twitter. Yeah,
- 1:56:54Speaker 5: and that is you felt for an email. Looking back
- 1:56:56Speaker 5: at the film, I can understand where I went wrong.
- 1:56:59Speaker 6: Dude.
- 1:57:00Speaker 5: If it says somebody logged into your account in Moscow,
- 1:57:02Speaker 5: Russia and everything, look it's coming from X support, I think, oh,
- 1:57:06Speaker 5: I got to change my password right here. Also Russia,
- 1:57:10Speaker 5: but dude, it's Russia.
- 1:57:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: But think about against them, Think about Taylor, think of
- 1:57:15Speaker 5: him being like you know, they say, like children when
- 1:57:18Speaker 5: they learn things for the first time, like they know
- 1:57:20Speaker 5: nothing like that.
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: I don't like that.
- 1:57:21Speaker 7: I got to give the analogy like, and it's our
- 1:57:23Speaker 7: poor guy, his brain. He has zero clue that this
- 1:57:26Speaker 7: world actually exists, so I can only imagine. He sees
- 1:57:29Speaker 7: an ex logo it says ex support like it looks.
- 1:57:32Speaker 6: As real as real.
- 1:57:33Speaker 7: Can get the email for the very first time for him,
- 1:57:36Speaker 7: So he doesn't know that there's this game that's being played.
- 1:57:38Speaker 6: He clicks on to change his password. God love me.
- 1:57:40Speaker 6: He's trying to protect his account, trying to put up
- 1:57:42Speaker 6: my account.
- 1:57:44Speaker 5: If this happens, I'll never be on Twitter again. It'll
- 1:57:47Speaker 5: hurt the podcast, It'll hurt everything about what we do.
- 1:57:51Speaker 5: I'll never get on Twitter again.
- 1:57:53Speaker 6: That is that's a bad beat. That's a bad beat.
- 1:57:58Speaker 6: That's the get you clicking on. That is the ship
- 1:58:01Speaker 6: that gets.
- 1:58:02Speaker 5: You to be New England Patriots, and essentially Moscow, Russia
- 1:58:05Speaker 5: is the Atlanta Falcons. That it's twenty eight three at a half,
- 1:58:07Speaker 5: game's not over. A lot of ball left to play,
- 1:58:10Speaker 5: a lot of ball left to play. In this one,
- 1:58:12Speaker 5: I literally I had to go through this whole interview.
- 1:58:14Speaker 5: In between every when you would ask some question, I
- 1:58:15Speaker 5: woul think to myself, what's going on? What is happening
- 1:58:19Speaker 5: in your world right now?
- 1:58:20Speaker 6: The one.
- 1:58:21Speaker 5: It's at it is scrolling on your timeline right now.
- 1:58:23Speaker 6: He's hacked your account.
- 1:58:25Speaker 4: Go for it.
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: He would too, that's crazy. He'll be like, what is
- 1:58:30Speaker 6: spooked over?
- 1:58:30Speaker 5: I never thought I'd be brought into this climate Day
- 1:58:33Speaker 5: twenty four?
- 1:58:33Speaker 6: Will we.
- 1:58:36Speaker 4: Watch?
- 1:58:36Speaker 6: Yeah? What is spook it? What are people watching here?
- 1:58:38Speaker 6: I've been me and hit to check that one out.
- 1:58:42Speaker 5: I'm really sweating. I'm I'm so rattled right now.
- 1:58:46Speaker 7: It is hot in here with that everybody, Thank you
- 1:58:49Speaker 7: for tuning in. Have a great week. Remember tomorrow bet
- 1:58:52Speaker 7: the bus drops and then on Thursday, slips and picks,

- 1:59:13Speaker 7: We'd go to my grandparents' house, we'd bring over the

- 1:59:48Speaker 6: Back to the episode.
- 1:59:50Speaker 5: All right now, we just ended the show and literally
- 1:59:54Speaker 5: looked at our phones as I was trying to figure
- 1:59:55Speaker 5: out my situation and what just happened.
- 1:59:57Speaker 7: Well, Kevin Bayerd is getting traded to the Eagles, and
- 2:00:03Speaker 7: what was crazy is on an overly direct take. I
- 2:00:05Speaker 7: knew I wanted to kind of like, you know, shit
- 2:00:07Speaker 7: on the Chargers a little bit, but I was thinking, like, ah,
- 2:00:09Speaker 7: a good, a good, spicy take would be that the
- 2:00:11Speaker 7: Titans trade Derrick Henry and Kevin Byrd. Kevin's we were
- 2:00:14Speaker 7: talking about it last week, Yes, like if Titans are
- 2:00:16Speaker 7: like gonna call it in, not like calling in and
- 2:00:20Speaker 7: give it up, like we you know, the boys are
- 2:00:21Speaker 7: still gonna fight.
- 2:00:22Speaker 6: We've been in those types of atmospheres.
- 2:00:23Speaker 7: The guys are still gonna play, but from a GM
- 2:00:26Speaker 7: front office standpoint, you're gonna start like triming, you know,
- 2:00:29Speaker 7: trimming guys, clearing caspace and preparing for the future.
- 2:00:32Speaker 6: It starts with like Kevin Byrd and Derrick Henry.
- 2:00:35Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, that's wild. And but you can kind of
- 2:00:39Speaker 5: see when all this trade stuff's coming up. They start
- 2:00:40Speaker 5: two and four with what was happening in the off
- 2:00:44Speaker 5: season with he is he holding out? Is he not
- 2:00:46Speaker 5: holding out? Does he want to raise that they ask
- 2:00:49Speaker 5: him to take a pay cut. There was a lot
- 2:00:51Speaker 5: of interesting comments about the relationship between Kevin and the Titans.
- 2:00:55Speaker 6: Came on the bus.
- 2:00:56Speaker 5: Yeah, here and the bus we talked about it and
- 2:00:57Speaker 5: we had a fun conversation, you and me, Delaney in
- 2:01:00Speaker 5: him and Dog that's wild.
- 2:01:02Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, he was somebody who wanted to play
- 2:01:05Speaker 7: his entire career here like everybody does. Everybody wants to
- 2:01:08Speaker 7: spot from Yeah, but he wasn't oblivious to knowing that
- 2:01:11Speaker 7: something could shake this year.
- 2:01:12Speaker 5: He understands the game. That is a massive piece, that's
- 2:01:15Speaker 5: a massive leadership role. Yeah, Tallent, that's crazy, dude.
- 2:01:21Speaker 6: Yeah, man, I wonder what they're getting I wonder, like, what.
- 2:01:24Speaker 10: Draftrell Edmunds in a fifth and a sixth, I believe,
- 2:01:28Speaker 10: So they're.
- 2:01:28Speaker 6: Getting draft capital and Terrell Edmunds that's the linebacker.
- 2:01:31Speaker 4: Yeah, no, that's the safety. Yeah, so they're getting the.
- 2:01:35Speaker 5: Safety safety for safety plus some picks. Charroll's probably got
- 2:01:38Speaker 5: to feel pretty bad about that. But I'm going to Titans.
- 2:01:41Speaker 4: Looking out for KB that like, good for him going
- 2:01:43Speaker 4: to the here's the question.
- 2:01:45Speaker 6: Yeah, he's going to a team.
- 2:01:46Speaker 5: He's going to a Super Bowlken Tender. Oh sorry, I
- 2:01:51Speaker 5: just was sad for the Titans in my head.
- 2:01:53Speaker 4: A J.
- 2:01:53Speaker 6: Brown, Kevin Byron.
- 2:01:55Speaker 5: Julio Jones all Titans guys.
- 2:01:58Speaker 7: I wonder if Derek was in the conversation because the
- 2:02:01Speaker 7: only thing that made me think Derek, well no, because swift,
- 2:02:03Speaker 7: Swift is a dog. I did see that rumor swirling
- 2:02:06Speaker 7: of Kevin and potentially the Eagles, and it's like, well,
- 2:02:09Speaker 7: you know that they have like a business relationship because
- 2:02:11Speaker 7: the whole J.
- 2:02:13Speaker 6: Brown trade, so wouldn't be crazy. And here it is.
- 2:02:15Speaker 5: Yeah, Edmund if he if the Eagles win a Super Bowl,
- 2:02:20Speaker 5: does he get a ring?
- 2:02:20Speaker 4: Yeah? It's the one win.
- 2:02:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:02:24Speaker 7: And from what I remember, I mean, he was a.
- 2:02:26Speaker 7: He was drafted in the first round with his brother. Yeah,
- 2:02:28Speaker 7: he was backer from the Bills.
- 2:02:29Speaker 10: He like, I think ever since in the league he
- 2:02:31Speaker 10: hasn't played as much as his brother, but he like
- 2:02:35Speaker 10: he started last night and like played pretty well for him.
- 2:02:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:02:37Speaker 7: Oh wow, I was gonna say, I wonder what his
- 2:02:40Speaker 7: role has been this year on the Eagles off to well,
- 2:02:42Speaker 7: have to like look.
- 2:02:43Speaker 4: Behind read blanket ship. That's why you played last year?
- 2:02:46Speaker 7: Last week got you because it is even though he's
- 2:02:48Speaker 7: a first rounder, he's not on the Steelers where he started.
- 2:02:51Speaker 6: He gets a new deal. It seems like with Philly.
- 2:02:53Speaker 6: Now Philly's trading him.
- 2:02:54Speaker 7: I wonder, you know, order what his journey has been
- 2:02:57Speaker 7: like from a GM armchair head coach perspective.
- 2:03:01Speaker 4: He was just at the Ahillies game with DeAndre Swift too.
- 2:03:04Speaker 6: I saw that and they had some funny clips too. Man, dude,
- 2:03:09Speaker 6: welcome to Nashville. Yeah.
- 2:03:10Speaker 5: The only the only person that's really saving that locker
- 2:03:12Speaker 5: room is Jeffrey Simmons.
- 2:03:15Speaker 6: Yeah. I mean there's some other guys, like, you know,
- 2:03:18Speaker 6: a Hooker.
- 2:03:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know how much I think Hooker is
- 2:03:24Speaker 5: in the second or third year of his deal and
- 2:03:26Speaker 5: he's a good player. He's a great player, but he's
- 2:03:28Speaker 5: been hurt quite a bit. Yeah, he's a really he's
- 2:03:31Speaker 5: a really good safety.
- 2:03:32Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, no hook hook, he's a he is he's
- 2:03:35Speaker 6: a good safety.
- 2:03:35Speaker 7: But yeah, man, I mean when you're sitting at where
- 2:03:38Speaker 7: the Titans are at right now, it's you gotta make
- 2:03:40Speaker 7: decisions and there sometimes are gonna be tough decisions because
- 2:03:43Speaker 7: you got to think about the future.
- 2:03:45Speaker 5: And the way ver Abel talks about KB two the
- 2:03:46Speaker 5: Ultimate pro you see him.
- 2:03:48Speaker 6: In Yeah, love KB since day one.
- 2:03:50Speaker 5: Guarantee the meeting on Wednesday, Rabel will accidentally say KB
- 2:03:55Speaker 5: because he always would reference KB or talk talk to
- 2:03:57Speaker 5: KB during the team meeting. The whole organization is in
- 2:04:01Speaker 5: the is in the room, but he would say hey,
- 2:04:03Speaker 5: Jeff maybe like he would always talk about talk to
- 2:04:06Speaker 5: them essentially.
- 2:04:06Speaker 6: Yeah, one of one of Ray's favorites. No questions, no question,
- 2:04:10Speaker 6: no question. That's that's wild. Mans.
- 2:04:12Speaker 7: Should we get a moment of silence, Kevin Byron Tennessee,
- 2:04:21Speaker 7: we love you KB.
- 2:04:22Speaker 6: Love you brother man.
- 2:04:26Speaker 5: I wonder what the Twitter world saying about KB right now.
- 2:04:29Speaker 5: I would I would have no idea.
- 2:04:31Speaker 6: We'll figure out here in a second. You guys will yeah. Well,
