An 18-year-old man, Bradley Scott Sayer, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and discharging a firearm causing injury after a deadly library shooting in Chico that killed two men. Prosecutors seek life without parole, and he’s denied bail due to perceived danger, currently on suicide watch. Authorities believe he planned the attack and remains a threat. Victims Jacob Cody Hull and Robert Johnson died from shotgun wounds. Sayer allegedly took weapons from his father’s home before the rampage and is scheduled for court on July 16 to enter a plea.
