SPEAKER_03: Apparently we're starting the recording without Mike because I don't know.
• 0:21
  SPEAKER_03: He's like a shadow right now.
• 0:24
  SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
• 0:26
  SPEAKER_03: Fuck off.
• 0:28
  SPEAKER_01: Fuck out.
• 0:29
  SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Inmoderation.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_01: Sure, we give you a moderate house of info, bananas, and you already know we're not approved.
• 0:37
  SPEAKER_01: Get the fuck out.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_01: This is my VTube outfit.
• 0:41
  SPEAKER_04: That's not a VTuber.
• 0:43
  SPEAKER_04: This is a VTuber.
• 0:44
  SPEAKER_03: That's a VTuber right there.
• 0:46
  SPEAKER_03: I'm just a poser.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_03: A poser in a freaking banana costume.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_03: For those who are listening and not seeing the abomination that is Mike.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_01: Pop on over to YouTube and you can see.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_01: I don't know if we have Spotify video, Apple video.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_01: I don't know how any of this works.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_03: We should have Spotify video if I ever um catch up on uploading them now that I have upload speed.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_03: Oh it took me like six hours to upload a video before on my old internet.
• 1:14
SPEAKER_03: So I kind of gave up on it.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_04: I see.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, good call.
• 1:18
SPEAKER_03: All this because we have our first ever VTuber on.
• 1:21
  SPEAKER_03: We do.
• 1:22
  SPEAKER_04: I'm fancy.
• 1:23
  SPEAKER_04: Hooray.
• 1:24
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so so what are you exactly?
• 1:26
  SPEAKER_04: Uh well, that's rude.
• 1:28
  SPEAKER_04: Clearly.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_04: I I usually say that uh my VTuber is based on a cryptid, but it's um basically based on a dictic.
• 1:34
SPEAKER_04: It's a tiny little deer um that actually cries out of pre-orbital glands at the corners of its eyes, and that's how it marks its territory instead of pissing on things.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_04: So uh yeah, dictic with a whole bunch of other crap just in there.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_04: You know, with a name like Snoot, I just went full nose and everything else just came into place.
• 1:51
  SPEAKER_03: Perfect.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_03: A dic dick will fit right in on the podcast.
• 1:55
  SPEAKER_04: Hooray.
• 1:56
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's mostly.
• 1:59
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well, I'm double dick, so don't be jealous.
• 2:02
SPEAKER_01: Dick jokes right off the start.
• 2:03
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_01: I got enough for double.
• 2:05
  SPEAKER_01: But welcome.
• 2:06
  SPEAKER_01: Glad you're here.
• 2:07
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 2:08
  SPEAKER_04: Me too.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_04: I'm also I'm very glad to be here.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_04: I'm also very hypnotized by you walking on this treadmill towards me in a banana suit, which is very threatening.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_04: Like more threatening than I would have.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god, he's running.
• 2:18
  SPEAKER_04: I I can't move my shoulders.
• 2:20
  SPEAKER_04: I'm a VTuber.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_03: Okay, his weakness is banana laffy taffy.
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_01: Oh.
• 2:25
  SPEAKER_03: Kind of?
• 2:26
  SPEAKER_04: Kind of?
• 2:26
SPEAKER_04: Like weakness in that it will kill you or weakness in that you will go for it?
• 2:30
SPEAKER_01: Weakness in that on my first appearance on Inmoderation two and a half years ago, it took out one of my fillings.
• 2:37
  SPEAKER_04: Oh.
• 2:37
  SPEAKER_04: Oh my.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_04: Well, that's good to know if I ever need to remove your fillings for some reason.
• 2:41
SPEAKER_04: What kind of fillings you got there, bud?
• 2:43
SPEAKER_01: Uh, well, I'm down one.
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_04: Oh.
• 2:47
  unknown: Okay.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_04: Well, if you're down another one soon, I wasn't involved.
• 2:50
  SPEAKER_01: Deal.
• 2:51
SPEAKER_01: This is this is your alibi.
• 2:52
SPEAKER_04: How do you feel about banana antibiotics?
• 2:54
  SPEAKER_01: Is that a thing?
• 2:55
  SPEAKER_01: I feel like that's questionable.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_04: Is that not a thing you folks have?
• 3:00
SPEAKER_04: Where are you folks from?
• 3:00
  SPEAKER_04: So I'm in Canada.
• 3:01
  SPEAKER_04: I'm in Vancouver, BC.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, so we're over here in the States.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_01: Right now, I think we're treating all communicable illnesses with raw milk.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_04: Oh, yes, yes, I forgot.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_04: Your your raw milk and your thoughts and prayers.
• 3:15
  SPEAKER_04: Um, how's it going?
• 3:16
SPEAKER_04: How's it going for you?
• 3:17
SPEAKER_04: Do you get any uh spots appearing on you by any chance?
• 3:20
SPEAKER_04: Add some banana to that.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_04: You'll be good in no time.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_04: No, no, no time at all.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_01: So do I rub the banana on it, or is this an oral, an anal?
• 3:27
  SPEAKER_01: What do we take?
• 3:27
SPEAKER_01: How do we do this?
• 3:28
SPEAKER_04: Well, the thing with the banana antibiotics, and my husband feels the same way, is like it's delicious to a point where we will sometimes just crave banana antibiotics.
• 3:37
SPEAKER_04: But like, even as a kid, you get the biotics, antibiotics, you want well, probiotics.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_04: Anyway, anyway, biotics of some form.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_04: Inside of a suspension liquid, they mix it with banana flavor to make the kids drink it.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_04: The problem is it tastes exactly like those banana um marshmallows you used to get as a kid.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_04: So it looks you start craving antibiotics.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_01: So my thought was that this was banana marshmallows?
• 4:00
SPEAKER_01: I so I think what you're referring to is probably what we had, something called circus peanuts.
• 4:06
  SPEAKER_04: Sort of.
• 4:07
  SPEAKER_04: Very, very close.
• 4:08
  SPEAKER_04: We know circus peanuts.
• 4:09
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we do.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_01: Because those kind of taste banana-ish, but they're not uh shaped like bananas.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_04: Fake banana tastes so much better than real banana, but we killed bananas.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_04: We did that to us.
• 4:20
  SPEAKER_04: We we deserved that.
• 4:21
SPEAKER_04: I mean, not the three of us on this call, clearly, but someone else deserves it.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_01: No, I'll take the blame.
• 4:27
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_04: Well, now I'm definitely coming after your feelings.
• 4:32
  SPEAKER_01: I'm the banana guy.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_01: Well, you can't even move your shoulders.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_01: How are you gonna stab me?
• 4:36
SPEAKER_04: I got to move your hands.
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_04: Enough fingers for stabbing.
• 4:40
SPEAKER_04: I can do this, but you can't do that.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_01: Can you explain to everybody?
• 4:43
  SPEAKER_01: Because I I don't really know what a VTuber is.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_01: I understand that you are a work of CGI over here.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_03: I love that I did not prep Mike for this at all.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_01: I we don't prep each other for uh guests, we just bring people on.
• 4:57
SPEAKER_01: So I'm learning of you now.
• 5:00
SPEAKER_04: So uh yeah, it's funny you ask that because uh when I first started looking at streaming, I couldn't watch a VTuber.
• 5:07
SPEAKER_04: I found them too weird.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_04: I found them very off-putting, and I was trying to figure out why it was so off-putting, and then eventually I saw one that actually had like facial expressions and hands, and hands do a lot for like I'm a very flappy person when I talk, so I need them.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_04: Um so what a VTuber is, is a 3D model that is then rigged um to track facial expressions.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_04: I'm using my iPhone, it's tracking it, um, and then that translates it into a program called VC Face.
• 5:35
SPEAKER_04: All of this is free, by the way, completely free.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_04: Um, and then it shows on the screen.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_04: I also have a hand tracker called Elite Motion Pro.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_04: Uh it tracks my flapping and translates it to you.
• 5:46
  SPEAKER_03: Tracks your flapping.
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_04: Tracks by flapping.
• 5:50
  SPEAKER_03: Don't give Mike ideas.
• 5:52
  SPEAKER_04: Well, you know what?
• 5:53
SPEAKER_04: You could rig that also.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_04: Uh, you can rig anything with somebody who's talented enough and has enough uh iPhones, I guess.
• 5:59
SPEAKER_01: Can the title of this episode be Flap Tracking with Snoot?
• 6:03
SPEAKER_01: You'll have to remind me at the end of the episode.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_04: Only if you're allowed to give that to me so I can use it for if I ever go do just chatting.
• 6:10
  SPEAKER_04: Just checking.
• 6:11
  SPEAKER_03: Just that's what I do usually.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_03: Oh no, I insist you use it.
• 6:15
SPEAKER_03: Uh so yeah, I first discovered Snoot on Twitch in a world full of urine, running away from mosquitoes that were trying to inject you with urine.
• 6:26
SPEAKER_03: In fact, Mike, I feel like you really need to play this game because the commentary would be hilarious.
• 6:31
SPEAKER_04: What what game So the game is called Urge.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and the concept of urge is uh that you are in a post-apocalyptic land uh that has become apocalyptic because there's too much urine, and the fog from the urine is causing creatures to mutate.
• 6:49
SPEAKER_04: It is sickening everyone, people are becoming junkies because they want to eat the piss crystals.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_04: So you're trying to be a very respectful young man and find your brother in the piss land, uh, but you want to make sure that you're always containing your piss in a bottle, in some other sort of grotesque situation.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_04: We don't talk about the bag.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_04: Um, and then you can also purify it to put into your vehicle so you can drive your piss car to piss land or pisney, um, because that's in your Lando.
• 7:17
SPEAKER_04: You drive to Yorlando to go to Pisney World.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_04: Um, it's not what it's actually called, but I won't give you any spoilers.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_04: You gotta play it for yourself.
• 7:26
SPEAKER_03: I'm everybody that wants to see Mike play this, drop a comment.
• 7:29
  SPEAKER_04: Hey, I finished it.
• 7:31
  SPEAKER_04: I finished it.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_04: Look, it started as a dare.
• 7:33
SPEAKER_04: I did like a uh sub-athon, like, oh, I'll play the piss game if I get 500 subs, you know, the typical Twitch BS.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_04: And then they did it, and then I played it.
• 7:41
SPEAKER_04: I was like, this is this is actually kind of fun.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_04: And then like a year later, I was like, I'm gonna finish it.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_04: And I did, and it was awesome.
• 7:48
SPEAKER_04: Like, it's got really good crafting, it's got a really good, interesting story, but also the whole word is world's piss.
• 7:56
SPEAKER_04: Whether that's uh you know, a positive or a negative for you depends on on the reader.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_04: So who am I to say?
• 8:02
  SPEAKER_04: I really enjoyed it.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and it's like a single dev, you know, uh, he's doing it for the love of the piss, and gosh bless him.
• 8:10
SPEAKER_01: This feels like one of those things where if you joke about a kink too much, you develop that kink.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_01: Well, so you have to be careful about it.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_04: That's somewhat been my uh my issue, is I've been referred to now as the number one piss streamer, and I don't know if that's the vibe I want overall.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_04: Uh, but we usually get associated with body fluids here or there anyway, so it's fine, it's fine, it's slowly disintegrating.
• 8:34
SPEAKER_04: Uh the vibe, not the piss.
• 8:36
  SPEAKER_04: The piss never disintegrates.
• 8:37
SPEAKER_04: That's why I have to put it in a bottle.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_04: But um, it is a really good game, and there's no doubt in my mind that this dev is a piss fetishist, but he's only weird about it like once in the game.
• 8:48
SPEAKER_04: Because, okay, I didn't want to talk about the bag, but let's talk about the bag real quick.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_04: The bag was the only time I'm moderation exclusive.
• 8:54
SPEAKER_04: The bag was the only time I gagged in the game and was like, no, we're not doing this again.
• 8:59
SPEAKER_04: Because there's a lot of piss, as you would expect.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_04: But the bag is you capture a junkie, you put them in the bag, you put the seal on the bag, and this becomes your toilet.
• 9:09
SPEAKER_04: But the problem is, you would think that's the problem, that's not the problem.
• 9:13
SPEAKER_04: The problem is when you piss in the bag, you hear gulping.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_04: And I was like, nope, about that's that's my line.
• 9:18
  SPEAKER_04: We found my line.
• 9:19
  SPEAKER_04: I'm good.
• 9:20
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'd play right through that.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_01: I'll pick up where you left off.
• 9:24
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, fantastic.
• 9:24
SPEAKER_04: You fill her up then.
• 9:26
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
• 9:27
  SPEAKER_01: You got it.
• 9:27
SPEAKER_01: I'll handle things from here.
• 9:29
  SPEAKER_04: That's great.
• 9:29
  SPEAKER_04: Great.
• 9:30
  SPEAKER_01: She's insane.
• 9:32
SPEAKER_01: There's this guy has to write off the piss game on his taxes.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_04: Hey, it's like 14 bucks, you're probably good to go.
• 9:37
SPEAKER_04: I mean, that's Canadian too, so it's probably like three bucks US.
• 9:40
  SPEAKER_01: Give or take.
• 9:41
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 9:41
SPEAKER_01: To make this a business expense, I can write it off on my taxes.
• 9:45
SPEAKER_01: Come on over to Twitch.
• 9:46
  SPEAKER_01: I'll drink piss from a bag.
• 9:49
SPEAKER_01: That's twitch.com slash Mike Needsaplum and Dad.
• 9:52
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I love any game that has unique mechanics like that.
• 9:55
SPEAKER_04: So uh digging around for them.
• 9:57
SPEAKER_04: There's another one that I haven't played called Poop Killer, and apparently it's a very popular.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_04: There's more than one of them, and it's there's a lot of poop, and I don't think I want to wander down that alley yet.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_04: Uh, but the piss alley I have explored in full on in the video game only.
• 10:12
  SPEAKER_01: We'll get there.
• 10:12
SPEAKER_01: This is a gateway game to the that's what I'm hearing.
• 10:15
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 10:16
SPEAKER_01: I'm sweating my banana off.
• 10:18
  SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
• 10:18
SPEAKER_03: You've got Mike all hot and bothered.
• 10:20
SPEAKER_03: He had to take his suit off.
• 10:21
  SPEAKER_04: You're peeling.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_04: It can't be good for you.
• 10:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I just had to peel it off.
• 10:25
  SPEAKER_01: Don't worry, I kept the sticker.
• 10:27
  SPEAKER_04: Excellent.
• 10:27
  SPEAKER_04: Good.
• 10:28
  SPEAKER_01: It's a very small stick.
• 10:29
  SPEAKER_04: 4011?
• 10:29
SPEAKER_04: Is it is it also 4011 in the States?
• 10:31
SPEAKER_04: That's always the banana code.
• 10:33
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't know.
• 10:35
SPEAKER_04: Live by the banana code, die by the banana code, 4011.
• 10:38
  SPEAKER_01: Banana code.
• 10:40
  SPEAKER_01: I didn't even know about that.
• 10:41
  SPEAKER_01: Let's see.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_01: Learn what calls himself the banana man.
• 10:44
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, uh with the code.
• 10:46
SPEAKER_01: Okay, standard grocery store code for conventional bananas is 4011.
• 10:51
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_01: Uh means the fruit was grown conventionally using standard farming methods.
• 10:56
SPEAKER_01: Um now a 9040 or 94011 means that it was grown organically.
• 11:02
  SPEAKER_01: Oh.
• 11:03
SPEAKER_01: And uh 84011 was historically suggested to indicate a genetically modified banana, though this prefix is rarely used.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_01: Uh kids don't ever say that we didn't teach you anything here on in moderation.
• 11:18
  SPEAKER_01: Goodbye, everybody.
• 11:20
  SPEAKER_04: Yes.
• 11:20
SPEAKER_04: Well, now, like, I just want to know, and I, you know, I'm hoping that we're gonna have an honest conversation about this.
• 11:26
SPEAKER_04: If you were to pick up organic bananas, if that was a thing you wanted, you're still typing in 4011 at the self-service, right?
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_04: You're not typing 84011.
• 11:35
  SPEAKER_04: Let's be honest.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_01: Are we admitting to crimes here on the show?
• 11:38
  SPEAKER_04: Is that a crime?
• 11:39
  SPEAKER_01: Rob cut the side.
• 11:40
SPEAKER_03: I would never admit to buying a banana.
• 11:42
SPEAKER_03: Like that's just a step too far.
• 11:47
SPEAKER_04: Potassium comes out the beard, you don't need it from other sources, you're good to go.
• 11:50
  SPEAKER_03: There you go.
• 11:52
SPEAKER_03: But the actual reason that Snoot was invited here is because it's time for our irregularly scheduled we're men and we have no knowledge about women, so let's bring a woman on to talk about fucking women.
• 12:07
SPEAKER_04: Well, wait, you the the the verb that you just used there, women?
• 12:12
  SPEAKER_04: Because I don't think that's why I'm on.
• 12:14
SPEAKER_04: I um what what you do with a woman in the bedroom is I can't help you with the water.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, sorry, sorry.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_03: I my bad.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_03: I um I thought that's what we were here for.
• 12:25
  SPEAKER_03: Uh God.
• 12:26
SPEAKER_01: Well, when a man loves a woman very much, something something I I better remove my banana sticker.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I make my nose flap.
• 12:34
SPEAKER_01: Oh, you can move it.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_01: You can help or the snoot.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_04: One more, one more VTuber thing here is that the entire reason that I look like this and I exist is because the dick-dick situation, because I can helicopter dick-dick, that's the whole reason I'm like this, is so I can do that.
• 12:51
SPEAKER_03: We're 15 minutes into the episode, and Mike only just noticed that.
• 13:25
SPEAKER_01: I got a nose, and it's apparently I can do it too.
• 13:28
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, like this?
• 13:29
SPEAKER_03: Mike, you're 10 minutes late on that joke.
• 13:32
SPEAKER_03: I made that joke about you doing that like 10 minutes ago.
• 13:34
  SPEAKER_03: Where were you?
• 13:35
SPEAKER_01: I I was, I mean, pretty much in the same position I always am, slightly aloof.
• 13:41
  SPEAKER_04: So aloof.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_04: So we're we're talking about, well, let's be clear, we're talking about apabs today.
• 13:46
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and the bodies that the apabs have with the uterus and the ovaries from, you know, sometimes they have those things.
• 13:53
  SPEAKER_01: They do.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_04: Things we're gonna talk about.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_04: And and the things that happen when they reach around the age of 40.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_04: It's horrible, it's mysterious, and it's not just mysterious to men, it's also mysterious to the aphabs that happen to be going through the things.
• 14:07
SPEAKER_04: So it's an important thing to talk about.
• 14:09
  SPEAKER_03: Let's talk about it.
• 14:10
SPEAKER_03: We have no idea what we're talking about with it.
• 14:12
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, good.
• 14:13
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 14:13
SPEAKER_04: Well, in that case, let me uh let me let me tell you a little story.
• 14:16
SPEAKER_04: It's always a good place to start because it'll be interesting to know how I got interested in this.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_04: So there's something uh out there called, have you fellas ever heard of menopause?
• 14:25
SPEAKER_03: Is that like is that like the G spot?
• 14:28
SPEAKER_04: Uh it's connected in ways.
• 14:31
  SPEAKER_04: It's not completely disconnected.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_04: I can six degrees of Kevin Bacon to it, no problem.
• 14:36
SPEAKER_03: Well, as long as you can six degrees it.
• 14:38
SPEAKER_04: Okay, well, in that case, it's somewhat related.
• 14:41
SPEAKER_04: So menopause is a is a point in time where a person with a uterus and ovaries that are active just stop.
• 14:48
SPEAKER_04: And what's funny is menopause is actually the word for the exact second when it stops happening after a period of 12 months, which I just learned.
• 14:58
  SPEAKER_04: I had no idea.
• 14:59
SPEAKER_04: So you're not in menopause until that exact second you've reached 12 months without a menstrual period.
• 15:04
  SPEAKER_04: It's a second in time.
• 15:05
  SPEAKER_04: Crazy, right?
• 15:06
SPEAKER_04: And as soon as you hit that, you're post-menopausal.
• 15:08
SPEAKER_04: Um, some people will call that in menopause.
• 15:11
SPEAKER_04: Uh, there's another spin-off uh show for you if you ever uh want to just go and become elderly women in menopause.
• 15:19
  SPEAKER_03: I like it.
• 15:19
SPEAKER_03: I've been thinking about menopause.
• 15:21
  SPEAKER_04: In menopause.
• 15:22
SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be a very, very cranky uh podcast, though.
• 15:25
  SPEAKER_04: So what Perimenopause is.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_04: Oh, wait, who's your favorite golden girl?
• 15:31
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 15:31
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, it's Rose.
• 15:32
  SPEAKER_04: It's gotta be Rose.
• 15:33
  SPEAKER_04: It's not Blanche, right?
• 15:34
  SPEAKER_04: Blanche is the hussy.
• 15:35
SPEAKER_01: I'm not ready to talk about anything golden after we discuss the piss game.
• 15:39
SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, that's we need at least an episode of a buffer.
• 15:42
SPEAKER_04: We can come back when you're ready.
• 15:43
SPEAKER_04: We're on top of the golden girls.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_04: There's the there's the next uh the next version of Urge.
• 15:48
SPEAKER_04: It's just the Golden Girls.
• 15:50
SPEAKER_04: Uh in any case, the perimenopause is what comes before.
• 15:53
SPEAKER_04: So um when you're in your your late, late 30s, um, if you have ADHD, actually that can be a lot younger, it can be up to 10 years younger, which is wild.
• 16:03
SPEAKER_04: Um your body starts losing estrogen on this downward slope.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_04: And what you don't know or ever taught about estrogen is it's not something that you just hold in your body and and like the what what was it, puppy dog tails, that's the Ben.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_04: What do the girls have?
• 16:18
SPEAKER_04: Sugar spice and everything nice.
• 16:20
SPEAKER_04: If the estrogen is a sugar, it starts running out.
• 16:23
SPEAKER_04: We get a lot less sweet.
• 16:24
SPEAKER_04: Uh the issue being that oh, the banana's walking away again.
• 16:29
SPEAKER_04: Um the issue being that that can cause a lot of issues, and some of the issues are things you've always heard about, like hot flashes or just irritability irritability, right?
• 16:39
SPEAKER_04: That's not even the beginning of it.
• 16:41
SPEAKER_04: Um, here's how I learned about it, okay?
• 16:43
SPEAKER_04: I started getting one or two palpitations, really strong palpitations, where it would take my breath away.
• 16:50
  SPEAKER_04: And that was scary.
• 16:51
SPEAKER_04: That would happen like once every three or four weeks, no big deal.
• 16:53
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, okay, I might be dehydrated.
• 16:55
SPEAKER_04: I might be, you know, maybe I need more potassium.
• 16:57
SPEAKER_04: Legitimately, I potassium is a thing that helps that.
• 17:00
  SPEAKER_04: This isn't a banana tiny.
• 17:01
SPEAKER_04: But in any case, uh, so I took care of those and I was still getting them.
• 17:05
  SPEAKER_04: I was like, okay.
• 17:06
SPEAKER_04: And then one night my husband was out of the house and I suddenly got a palpitation.
• 17:11
SPEAKER_04: And then I got another palpitation.
• 17:14
SPEAKER_04: I was like, what the hell?
• 17:15
SPEAKER_04: And then I got another one.
• 17:17
SPEAKER_04: And I went downstairs and I was freaking out because I didn't know what was happening to me, and I had palpitation after palpitation that went for about 20 minutes straight.
• 17:25
SPEAKER_04: And I called an ambulance because I couldn't catch my breath fully.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_04: Um, my heart was racing, the palpitations kept going.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_04: And if you don't know anything else about this, you think you're dying.
• 17:35
SPEAKER_04: So I go to the hospital.
• 17:37
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
• 17:38
SPEAKER_04: So I go to the hospital and go through you have you had that happen, really?
• 17:41
  SPEAKER_04: The palps?
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_01: I have a heart condition, yeah.
• 17:44
  SPEAKER_04: Oh lord, okay.
• 17:45
SPEAKER_04: Well then you know from from that point of view.
• 17:47
SPEAKER_03: So not also speaking about weird things happening.
• 17:50
SPEAKER_03: This is the first time I think I've ever seen Mike sit for a guest.
• 17:53
  SPEAKER_04: I'm so special.
• 17:55
  SPEAKER_03: You are apparently.
• 17:57
SPEAKER_04: Or he needs to sit down to deal with my idiocy properly.
• 17:59
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 18:03
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 18:03
SPEAKER_04: It's hard for me to make eye contact though, because I'm a VTuber and uh the camera's over over there.
• 18:08
SPEAKER_04: So um, in any case, uh went to the hospital, they did all the heart stuff that they normally do, take the blood, no troponin increase, that's your heart attack gel, I guess.
• 18:19
SPEAKER_04: Um, all the things, right?
• 18:21
SPEAKER_04: Potassium was low, whatever, no big deal.
• 18:23
  SPEAKER_04: Can deal with that.
• 18:24
SPEAKER_04: So after that point, I went to a cardiologist twice and they were like, no, you're fine.
• 18:28
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, okay, but I'm not though.
• 18:29
SPEAKER_04: So cardiologists have said, you just have some PACs, that's premature arterial contractions, and you have a very low burden, that's the percentage of the amount of beats per day.
• 18:39
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, okay, so they've I have had two cardiologists check me out, all right.
• 18:43
SPEAKER_04: So I'm like, well, what the hell is happening?
• 18:45
  SPEAKER_04: So I started a spreadsheet.
• 18:47
SPEAKER_04: And what do you think I learned from that spreadsheet?
• 18:50
SPEAKER_04: I started noticing that these palpitations were happening only in the week prior to my menstrual period.
• 18:56
SPEAKER_04: And I was like, what the hell?
• 18:58
SPEAKER_04: Why is my why is my uterus making my heart do stuff?
• 19:01
  SPEAKER_04: That's stupid.
• 19:02
SPEAKER_04: And I brought it up with my doctor.
• 19:03
  SPEAKER_04: He's like, oh, let's go through a questionnaire.
• 19:06
SPEAKER_04: And then we started talking about it.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_04: So even my doctor didn't think to combine like the palpitations with the um with the actual perimenopause.
• 19:17
SPEAKER_04: But for me, interesting, that was yeah, that was my first thing.
• 19:21
SPEAKER_04: But then after I learned about it, uh, I realized there were other things, and I keep bringing this up as like I've never seen this cartoon, but do you guys know Perry Perry the Platypus?
• 19:30
SPEAKER_03: I know of Perry the Platypus.
• 19:32
SPEAKER_04: You know how if you only you people only recognize him if he's got his fedora on?
• 19:36
SPEAKER_03: Yes, I do know that that gig.
• 19:38
SPEAKER_04: Okay, same situation with perimenopause.
• 19:40
SPEAKER_04: So now we've got a peri, peri the menopause, because you don't recognize it as a symptom of perimenopause until you rule everything out and put a hat on it.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_04: And that hat says perimenopause.
• 19:50
SPEAKER_04: So uh, like one of the other things is I was waking up at 3 a.m.
• 19:54
SPEAKER_04: with a panic attack and then sweating and just being like, well, panic attacks aren't super weird for me.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_04: I have uh severe anxiety disorder, I've had it since I was younger, I've been completely diagnosed, I'm on medication, it's always been enough, no problems.
• 20:07
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and uh yeah, that is also part of it.
• 20:11
SPEAKER_04: Now, since figuring these things out, just to give you the everything's okay now and can be okay before we talk about the whole ass of the situation, um gotten to a gynecologist.
• 20:20
SPEAKER_04: I've started uh, I was gonna pick it up and show you, but again, VTuber can't.
• 20:24
SPEAKER_04: Um I have estrogen gel that I put on my inner thigh daily, and I have progesterone that I take two weeks per month.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_04: And I had always thought of HRT or hormone replacement therapy as being something just for the trans folks that wanted to, you know, get themselves where they thought they should be.
• 20:41
SPEAKER_04: And uh for whatever reason, this is completely gotten rid of all of it.
• 20:47
  SPEAKER_04: Everything.
• 20:47
SPEAKER_04: Heart palpitations, just gel on the thigh.
• 20:49
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that sounds that sounds like witchcraft.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_03: But yeah, especially in uh our field, when you hear HRT, you tend to think um people who are on steroids but are denying that they're on steroids.
• 21:01
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, really?
• 21:02
SPEAKER_04: Like people who take extra testosterone in order to beef up their aggression towards the weights or something?
• 21:08
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
• 21:09
SPEAKER_01: There's uh a guy who's currently in a hospital bed for the umpteenth time in the last couple of years who is uh he's not lied about being on the drugs, which is actually a rarity in our industry, but it's he's in there for his heart again.
• 21:25
  SPEAKER_01: And there's a lot of kids.
• 21:28
SPEAKER_01: He's got millions of followers, and there are a lot of kids that look up to him, and a lot of kids who have probably started on a cycle of those kinds of drugs because they want to look like their hero.
• 21:39
SPEAKER_01: And um, you know, he he's got an opportunity right now to talk about the dangers of it, and he's not going to.
• 21:44
  SPEAKER_01: And it's uh it's kind of a shame.
• 21:46
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, hormones have a major effect on our health.
• 21:50
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_04: And it's interesting that we're never taught about that.
• 21:53
SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah, you know, on on your side of things, that's interesting because I I'd never heard about that, but thinking about it now, with what I've learned about my own hormones, that makes a lot of sense.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_04: Your hormones are holding your heart's hand, and if they aren't in sync, you're gonna have problems.
• 22:06
SPEAKER_04: Your heart can't figure out what it's supposed to be doing without the right hormones.
• 22:09
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 22:10
SPEAKER_04: So um, yeah, that's that's real sad.
• 22:13
SPEAKER_04: And I I I really wish we would teach some of this in school.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_04: Like I only ever heard the word menopause mentioned like once, and it was just as an aside, right?
• 22:22
SPEAKER_04: You know, it's it's it's in a long time, you're gonna forget, let's not talk about it sort of situation.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_04: Um, but it's it's interesting too, is when you start having these conversations about perimenopause and you think about maybe the the women in your life that oh, she's just cranky all the time.
• 22:37
SPEAKER_04: And you're like, I've really had a huge switch in my head of how I view other women when they are over the age of like 35.
• 22:47
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, you might be going.
• 22:48
  SPEAKER_04: Went through it.
• 22:49
SPEAKER_04: You get a lot of grace that I would not have given you before.
• 22:52
SPEAKER_04: And you start to notice things like a lot of women carrying fans.
• 22:56
SPEAKER_04: Oh, makes a lot more sense now.
• 22:59
SPEAKER_04: Um, oh, another one that was really weird for me is something that was wild is nosebleeds.
• 23:03
SPEAKER_04: And my gynecologist had never seen that.
• 23:05
SPEAKER_04: But as soon as I started taking estrogen, they stopped.
• 23:07
SPEAKER_04: And I've never had uh nosebleeds my entire life.
• 23:10
SPEAKER_04: And I only had them in the two weeks up to my period.
• 23:13
  SPEAKER_04: Not not fun.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_04: I kept joking with my husband of like, oh good, I'm getting older and now I get to bleed from two areas.
• 23:19
  SPEAKER_04: Great, wonderful.
• 23:21
SPEAKER_04: Just just put a sanitary napkin just straight into my nose or something, and just you know.
• 23:26
SPEAKER_04: Um, but it's it's scary if you don't know what could be happening to you and you can't put it together, it's terrifying.
• 23:33
SPEAKER_04: You're like, my body is falling apart and there's no one cause for it.
• 23:36
  SPEAKER_04: How could there be?
• 23:37
  SPEAKER_04: Everything is so separate.
• 23:38
SPEAKER_04: My nose, my heart, my my ears, itchy ears is another very common uh perimenopause symptom because you start drying out.
• 23:48
SPEAKER_04: I don't think we have to talk about the lady bits drying out, but those also do dry out, not for everyone, it's not an everybody thing, but the earwax dries out and in your ears get itchy.
• 23:57
SPEAKER_04: So itching your ears a lot is also a symptom of perimenopause.
• 24:01
  SPEAKER_04: Yep.
• 24:01
  SPEAKER_04: It's fun.
• 24:02
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's a lot of kind of randomish looking things when you uh when you take them all all over the place.
• 24:11
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 24:11
  SPEAKER_03: No, it's I don't know.
• 24:13
  SPEAKER_03: That's just yeah.
• 24:15
  SPEAKER_04: It's wild.
• 24:16
  SPEAKER_04: Um I lost words.
• 24:17
SPEAKER_04: And if you if you look at the full list of what the symptoms are, you start to say, well, isn't that couldn't that just be a part of aging?
• 24:23
SPEAKER_04: Couldn't that just be, you know, individual bodies and how people, you know, where they are and what happens.
• 24:29
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, okay.
• 24:30
SPEAKER_04: But if you take estrogen and they immediately all go away, it's it's kind of hard to deny, especially if you're like me.
• 24:38
SPEAKER_04: Now, my actual job, like my human, human job that I do is I'm a consultant for um, I work a lot with the Microsoft stack.
• 24:45
SPEAKER_04: I don't work with Microsoft themselves, but I do consultancy on that.
• 24:48
SPEAKER_04: So a lot of what I do is solution architecture, information architecture, and data analysis.
• 24:53
SPEAKER_04: So I've got a spreadsheet, and that was how I started lining it all up, and that's where I started seeing the symptoms all kind of holding hands with each other.
• 25:01
SPEAKER_04: Um, so I recommend anybody who's not sure if they're in perimenopause, make a spreadsheet.
• 25:07
SPEAKER_04: Just split it into brain versus like your uh your cycles and the date, and then do it for three months, come back and then see if you can find patterns.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_04: Uh, because that's the way to do it.
• 25:18
SPEAKER_04: That's doctors aren't gonna do that for you, especially in this day and age of I don't know if it's the same for you, but especially during COVID, everybody went telehealth, right?
• 25:27
  SPEAKER_04: Telehealth.
• 25:27
SPEAKER_04: Everything's through some random doctor through a telephone.
• 25:31
SPEAKER_04: They're only interested in one symptom right now.
• 25:33
SPEAKER_04: One symptom on its own may not be enough to verify that you're gonna have peri.
• 25:39
SPEAKER_04: And they need to see this data, but nobody's tracking this data.
• 25:42
  SPEAKER_04: They're tracking their cycle.
• 25:43
SPEAKER_04: They're not tracking, like, oh, did I have a nosebleed?
• 25:45
SPEAKER_04: Oh, did I have uh a panic attack?
• 25:48
SPEAKER_04: Or, you know, um, did I have extra palpitations that day?
• 25:51
SPEAKER_04: That's not people don't do that normally, not until they get scared.
• 25:55
SPEAKER_01: They may not think that it's even connected because I like up until you just said it there, I didn't, I I wouldn't have drawn that conclusion.
• 26:02
SPEAKER_01: No, and that's yeah, yeah.
• 26:05
SPEAKER_01: It's uh are your other holes free of blood?
• 26:08
SPEAKER_01: Are there any more that have been leaking?
• 26:11
SPEAKER_04: Let me think, let me count myself here.
• 26:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's let's just go line for line.
• 26:16
  SPEAKER_04: Line for line.
• 26:17
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, let's see.
• 26:18
SPEAKER_04: Uh my butt is fine.
• 26:20
SPEAKER_04: Um after I figured out, look, after after I figured out that I had severe iron deficiency, like less than seven ferritin, um, I'm now on these uh HEMA boost.
• 26:33
SPEAKER_04: Now, the other thing to know is that the things they give you to try and resolve your symptoms may cause new symptoms.
• 26:39
SPEAKER_04: And one of those things for me would be iron pills, which massively constipate you.
• 26:44
  SPEAKER_04: Massive, massively.
• 26:45
SPEAKER_04: So was I bleeding from a place?
• 26:48
  SPEAKER_04: Yes.
• 26:48
  SPEAKER_04: Yes, I was.
• 26:49
SPEAKER_04: I'm not ashamed to admit it.
• 26:50
  SPEAKER_04: There it is.
• 26:51
SPEAKER_04: Um, but I fixed it.
• 26:52
  SPEAKER_01: There's no shame.
• 26:53
  SPEAKER_04: There's no shame.
• 26:54
SPEAKER_04: I fixed it by taking animal blood instead of they're animal blood pills.
• 26:58
SPEAKER_04: Like this, I'm not just drinking a goat or something.
• 27:01
  SPEAKER_04: I mean, I would well, would I drink a goat?
• 27:03
  SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't drink a goat.
• 27:04
SPEAKER_04: No, it has to be you know put into pill form or something.
• 27:06
SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, it's goats are inferior to virgin sacrifices anyway.
• 27:10
SPEAKER_04: Where are you gonna find a virgin these days?
• 27:11
SPEAKER_04: Oh no, no, I know where to find the virgins.
• 27:14
  SPEAKER_04: Reddit.
• 27:17
SPEAKER_04: I don't want to drink them, they'll like it.
• 27:19
SPEAKER_04: Especially if they can translate the way I look into cat girl.
• 27:22
  SPEAKER_04: It's a problem.
• 27:23
SPEAKER_04: I'm trying to be the least sexy thing I can be here, okay?
• 27:26
SPEAKER_04: Don't put me into this lane.
• 27:28
SPEAKER_04: Keep me in the piss lane.
• 27:29
SPEAKER_04: I prefer that to the sexy animal looking thing lane.
• 27:33
SPEAKER_01: Keep me in the piss lane.
• 27:34
SPEAKER_01: Clip that clip that clip that life in the piss lane.
• 27:41
SPEAKER_03: Okay, full full thing when I'm going to clip this.
• 27:45
  SPEAKER_03: Clip that.
• 27:46
SPEAKER_03: Clip is specifically clip that.
• 27:48
  SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm making a big, a big thing so it's not missed.
• 27:52
  SPEAKER_03: Clip that.
• 27:53
  SPEAKER_03: It's not missed, it's piss.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_04: Oh, it always comes back to piss.
• 27:56
SPEAKER_04: The piss doesn't change much if you're curious.
• 27:58
  SPEAKER_04: That's the same.
• 27:59
SPEAKER_04: Trying to drink a lot more water, you know, because of the dehydration is a big thing.
• 28:03
SPEAKER_04: Um, but he here's a question for you.
• 28:05
SPEAKER_04: Why do we have a word for menopause but not a word for like uh the loss of uh erection, like erectapause?
• 28:11
  SPEAKER_04: Why isn't that a thing?
• 28:12
SPEAKER_04: Why do we have to talk about the win the end of women's fertility but not the end of men's fertility?
• 28:18
SPEAKER_01: I I my immediate thought is that maybe it's just not quite as like definite that it's going to happen.
• 28:25
SPEAKER_01: Because you know, like older men are now babies all the time uh when they shouldn't.
• 28:31
SPEAKER_01: It's so I I I think it's like there you could retain that function for the entirety of your life, but then there's also just more of a chance that it goes away as you're older.
• 28:42
SPEAKER_01: Whereas menopause is more so like that's going to happen.
• 28:45
  SPEAKER_04: It's going to happen.
• 28:46
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I wasn't clear on like can can a 99-year-old man just have like one last hurrah?
• 28:51
SPEAKER_01: Let's see who the oldest father ever was.
• 28:53
SPEAKER_04: So you're going with father.
• 28:55
  SPEAKER_01: 96.
• 28:57
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
• 28:58
SPEAKER_01: Reportedly fathered his his name was Ramjit Raghav from India, who reportedly fathered a son at the age of 96 in 2012.
• 29:07
  SPEAKER_01: Wow.
• 29:07
  SPEAKER_04: Naturally?
• 29:08
SPEAKER_01: There have been a handful of men who have done it uh in their 90s.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_01: Uh there was an unverified claim of a man who fathered a child at 101.
• 29:20
SPEAKER_01: Uh, but that's the that one can't be verified as well as the other ones can.
• 29:26
  SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
• 29:27
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 29:27
SPEAKER_04: So well, that's not fair, is it?
• 29:31
  SPEAKER_04: Well, yeah, that's a good reason.
• 29:35
  SPEAKER_01: Is 74.
• 29:37
  SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
• 29:38
  SPEAKER_01: Wow.
• 29:38
SPEAKER_01: Who delivered twin girls via cesarean section in September of 2019.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_04: So maybe menopause doesn't always, always hit.
• 29:47
SPEAKER_01: No, there's some get left behind.
• 29:50
  SPEAKER_01: Skirt around it.
• 29:51
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 29:52
SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, it's a genetic variation.
• 29:55
SPEAKER_01: Like most doctors consider pregnancies past the age of 50 or after natural menopause to carry severe medical risks like high blood pressure.
• 30:04
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 30:04
SPEAKER_01: Uh, yeah, all sorts of stuff.
• 30:07
SPEAKER_01: So it it's the cutoff is much lower for women than it is for men.
• 30:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and that makes sense.
• 30:14
SPEAKER_04: I was reading about some of the um uh the reasoning why, well, there's this one doctor named Dr.
• 30:21
  SPEAKER_04: Jen Gunter.
• 30:22
SPEAKER_04: She's wonderful, she's doesn't try to sell any crap, which is a big problem with menopause specific doctors, is they try to sell anything.
• 30:29
SPEAKER_04: Oh, is these here, take this, it'll make all your hot flashes go away, yada yada.
• 30:33
  SPEAKER_04: She doesn't do that, she's great.
• 30:35
SPEAKER_04: Um, but reading about it, one of the theories they have on why men and or why women become menopausal and stop having children when they do is because we're meant to help take care of our children's children um and do all the gathering and whatnot while the you know men are hunting or we're helping hunting or whatever, so that we can rest and not uh not endanger our bodies, which makes a lot of sense, I guess.
• 31:01
SPEAKER_04: If I I look back to the ancestors, right, and how they would have gone about it.
• 31:05
SPEAKER_04: You want to take care of the younger people and make sure that your blood goes forward, I guess.
• 31:11
SPEAKER_04: I didn't have any children and I'm not going to, so I guess I'm screwed, but whatever, it's fine.
• 31:14
SPEAKER_04: We don't need any more of my blood.
• 31:16
SPEAKER_04: I've given enough of my blood, thank you.
• 31:17
  SPEAKER_03: That's okay.
• 31:18
  SPEAKER_03: We're all childrenless here.
• 31:20
SPEAKER_03: Unless, Mike, you're holding a secret back on us.
• 31:23
  SPEAKER_04: No secret here.
• 31:24
  SPEAKER_04: No secrets, just bananas.
• 31:26
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 31:26
SPEAKER_01: Actually, my my infertility is actually well documented, which is a strange thing about me.
• 31:33
  SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
• 31:34
  SPEAKER_01: I I got a vasectomy in 2022.
• 31:38
SPEAKER_01: Well, that's that was the original thing that I've now been able to eclipse with the fitness and weight loss stuff.
• 31:44
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, uh originally my first ever video online was me filming my face as I got a vasectomy.
• 31:52
SPEAKER_01: And um, I was on the news about it a bunch.
• 31:55
  SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
• 31:55
SPEAKER_04: How okay, pain from one to ten, so I can tell my husband.
• 31:59
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, nothing.
• 32:00
  SPEAKER_01: It's nothing at all.
• 32:01
SPEAKER_01: Like, if he's ever been kicked in the balls, that is worse than getting now.
• 32:04
  SPEAKER_01: It's not comfy.
• 32:05
SPEAKER_01: I wasn't like, oh hell yeah, this is great.
• 32:08
SPEAKER_01: Um, but in the the clip that went viral, you can even see me like wincing, getting ready for it to hurt really bad.
• 32:15
SPEAKER_01: And then once it the snip happens, I'm like, oh, that was actually not even as bad as I thought it would be.
• 32:21
  SPEAKER_04: Wow, okay, cool.
• 32:22
SPEAKER_01: If I had to get it redone every year.
• 32:26
SPEAKER_01: He had a little bit more of a complication, but he is also in the same boat of the um the he wanted laughing gas.
• 32:34
SPEAKER_03: They didn't give it laughing gas.
• 32:36
SPEAKER_01: Requested laughing gas because he just wanted to have it.
• 32:39
SPEAKER_01: Like it was totally elective, and then he got there, and I guess the laughing gas guy was high on his own supply, didn't show up.
• 32:46
SPEAKER_01: And so he just didn't have anything.
• 32:49
SPEAKER_01: Uh they injected me with some kind of numbing agent that made it better.
• 32:54
SPEAKER_01: Uh, I would say the needle was the worst part because it was the needle.
• 32:58
SPEAKER_01: Uh, beyond that, it really if I had to get it redone every year, I would.
• 33:01
SPEAKER_01: It's it's not that big of a deal, especially for the trade-off, which is yeah, I don't gotta have kids in a world that's burning.
• 33:08
  SPEAKER_04: Yep, agree.
• 33:09
  SPEAKER_04: So that's cool.
• 33:09
  SPEAKER_04: Big agree.
• 33:10
SPEAKER_04: Yep, that's the same reason for me is uh no thank you.
• 33:14
  SPEAKER_04: Then nobody needs this.
• 33:15
SPEAKER_04: Let's let the earth go back to from whence it came.
• 33:18
SPEAKER_01: Nah, give it back to the animals.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_04: Yep, give back to the animals.
• 33:22
SPEAKER_04: And on that same note of like, not as bad as you thought.
• 33:27
SPEAKER_04: Um, have you guys had colonoscopies yet?
• 33:29
  SPEAKER_03: No, not yet.
• 33:30
  SPEAKER_04: Do it.
• 33:31
  SPEAKER_04: I had one.
• 33:31
  SPEAKER_03: Although I've requested one.
• 33:33
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, good, good.
• 33:34
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I I had one um last uh December.
• 33:37
  SPEAKER_04: So I'm 43 now.
• 33:38
SPEAKER_04: I was 42 when I had it because there's a history of uh colon cancer in my family.
• 33:43
SPEAKER_04: My dad, my dad passed from colon cancer.
• 33:45
SPEAKER_04: Um, not as big of a deal as I would have thought.
• 33:49
SPEAKER_04: Um, the colonoscopy, not my dad passing from colon cancer.
• 33:52
SPEAKER_04: That was a pretty big deal for me, but just want to be clear on that.
• 33:55
SPEAKER_04: Uh the colonoscopy was bigger.
• 33:57
SPEAKER_03: Blood work screening for colon cancer.
• 33:59
  SPEAKER_04: Really?
• 34:00
  SPEAKER_04: They can do that.
• 34:00
SPEAKER_04: They didn't make you poop in a tube?
• 34:02
SPEAKER_03: No, they've they've got blood work that they can check now.
• 34:05
SPEAKER_03: Oh still, I'd still requested a colonoscopy just to like because that doesn't uh check for like polyps.
• 34:13
SPEAKER_03: Anything else, polyps, hemorrhoids, whatever else might be going on in there.
• 34:18
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and the polyp thing is actually really interesting, not to give you a multi-topic uh podcast, but the I I woke up and um seven minutes early because another thing that you probably already know, um Rob, which is redhead gene.
• 34:33
SPEAKER_04: If you have the redhead gene, you are more resistant to um uh why can I never remember the word?
• 34:40
  SPEAKER_04: Not antihistamine, anesthetic.
• 34:42
  SPEAKER_04: There we go.
• 34:43
  SPEAKER_04: I wish anesthetic.
• 34:45
SPEAKER_04: So redheads need more anesthetic than other people do, and that's like a proven thing.
• 34:49
SPEAKER_04: I woke up seven minutes early because apparently not only do I have the redhead genes, but I also have a tortuous colon, which just means that it's windy more than a normal person.
• 34:57
SPEAKER_04: It's not a big deal, except for the wording of it.
• 35:00
SPEAKER_04: But they found a polyp.
• 35:01
SPEAKER_04: I woke up for that, they inject it with blue dye with a needle on it.
• 35:05
SPEAKER_04: You don't feel that at all, you don't feel anything, and then they put this little wire around it and burn it off, and you don't feel any of that.
• 35:12
SPEAKER_04: And then they try to suck it out, but my polyp was too big to be sucked out, so they had to take it out by by claspies and then go all the way back in.
• 35:21
  SPEAKER_04: And yeah.
• 35:22
  SPEAKER_01: That's a good team-building icebreaker.
• 35:24
SPEAKER_01: Say two truths and a lie.
• 35:26
SPEAKER_04: I'm proud of it, and I don't know why.
• 35:28
SPEAKER_04: You ever have pride about something and you're not I you don't know why you're proud of it?
• 35:32
SPEAKER_01: Like I'm a dick dick on the end.
• 35:36
SPEAKER_01: Uh polyps that are not surgically removable.
• 35:40
SPEAKER_04: My polyps are so big.
• 35:42
SPEAKER_04: It's like we need a new version of Sir Mixelot's baby got back for the common age.
• 35:48
SPEAKER_04: Now, he's well, he's older than us.
• 35:52
SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say you can't possibly be 43 because the dictic life expectancy is three to five years, but then you referenced Sir Mix a lot.
• 36:00
SPEAKER_04: So Yeah, no, I've got cred.
• 36:02
  SPEAKER_04: I've got street cred.
• 36:03
SPEAKER_04: Man, I learned most of that song in Girl Guides Camp for some reason.
• 36:07
SPEAKER_04: I don't know if it's old there anymore, but girl guides camp, you learn a lot of things.
• 36:11
  SPEAKER_03: So except menopause, apparently.
• 36:13
SPEAKER_04: Except no, you don't talk okay, and that actually you just put made a point.
• 36:16
  SPEAKER_04: That pisses me off.
• 36:17
SPEAKER_04: Why didn't the girl guides of all people tell me about this?
• 36:20
SPEAKER_04: And then also, like, is there a benefit to telling people about this early?
• 36:25
SPEAKER_04: And yes, I think around your 30s, so that you can start watching for these things, but what about all the people going, oh no, my mom is crazy?
• 36:32
SPEAKER_04: What's wrong with my mom?
• 36:34
SPEAKER_04: Your mom doesn't know because your mom's not gonna read a book, right?
• 36:37
SPEAKER_04: Or at least that maybe that's a personal situation, but uh, you know, and then there's the problem with the grandmothers.
• 36:44
SPEAKER_04: And don't get me started on the grandmothers, like, oh, I never went through anything.
• 36:48
  SPEAKER_04: It was fine.
• 36:49
SPEAKER_03: You started on the grandmothers?
• 36:50
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god, the grandmothers.
• 36:52
SPEAKER_04: They just seem to like it's like it's like they don't know how to put things together.
• 36:58
SPEAKER_04: It's like they never learned about metadata.
• 37:00
SPEAKER_04: It's all you need to do is look at all these things happening and see they're in the same period of time and that you were pissed off by them instead of just remembering that the hot flashes were the main thing you were told that was supposed to be there, and that wasn't so bad.
• 37:12
SPEAKER_04: Okay, but what about everything else, grandma?
• 37:14
  SPEAKER_04: What about everything else?
• 37:15
SPEAKER_04: So then it gets passed on.
• 37:17
SPEAKER_04: Because not everyone, just like menstruation, not everyone experiences menopause in the same way.
• 37:22
  SPEAKER_04: It's not as bad.
• 37:23
SPEAKER_04: Like even with my friend group right now, I have another friend going through the palpitations and the sleep and you know a couple other things, but mine has come on eight years earlier, and I have a lot more symptoms.
• 37:37
SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't say it's worse in any way, but it's extremely different.
• 37:40
SPEAKER_04: It's very hard to track.
• 37:42
SPEAKER_04: It's almost like we need a board game of it or something.
• 37:44
SPEAKER_04: I wonder if there's any menopause themed video games.
• 37:47
  SPEAKER_04: Probably not.
• 37:55
SPEAKER_01: I think that could definitely be placed under the inmoderation product line umbrella.
• 38:01
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 38:02
SPEAKER_01: An educational menopause board game.
• 38:05
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 38:06
SPEAKER_04: Start from Perry, right before Perry, and go all the way to um you know post-menopause without killing your husband.
• 38:13
SPEAKER_04: And if you manage to do that, you might win, maybe, unless he divorces you, because that's also a very common thing.
• 38:19
  unknown: Exactly.
• 38:19
SPEAKER_01: What board game would this be most similar to?
• 38:21
  SPEAKER_04: Sorry?
• 38:22
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, you are Canadian.
• 38:23
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
• 38:24
SPEAKER_01: So we will uh we're we're gonna we're gonna place it over sorry.
• 38:29
  SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna keep it.
• 38:30
SPEAKER_04: Now I just gotta ask, are you saying that the same way I said it?
• 38:32
SPEAKER_04: Because now you've heard me say it and you want to reflect my Canadianness, or is that actually how you say sorry?
• 38:36
SPEAKER_01: No, I don't say it that way.
• 38:37
  SPEAKER_01: We don't say it's checking.
• 38:40
SPEAKER_01: I was like, you're definitely Canadian, you've been caught.
• 38:43
SPEAKER_01: Addictics uh are they in Canada?
• 38:47
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 38:48
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 38:48
SPEAKER_04: I mean, technically, again, not completely addictic, cryptid, because well, cryptic yeah.
• 38:55
SPEAKER_04: I get into this little area as well because I know it's gonna come up, especially if you've got people commenting.
• 39:00
  SPEAKER_04: I don't identify as a furry.
• 39:02
  SPEAKER_04: Now, here's the thing.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_01: Most of my worst thing to say if you're trying to avoid the furry allegations.
• 39:07
SPEAKER_04: I wasn't thinking until you said it.
• 39:08
SPEAKER_03: Look, I've gone and I've you identify as somebody that's trying not to be sexualized on the internet?
• 39:13
  SPEAKER_04: Yes, I do.
• 39:14
  SPEAKER_04: Very much so.
• 39:15
SPEAKER_04: But uh I do have a very large community of uh furry friends, and I have spoken at a fur con.
• 39:21
  SPEAKER_04: So I'm I'm fur adjacent.
• 39:23
  SPEAKER_04: Furry adjacent.
• 39:25
SPEAKER_04: It's just when you look like this, people make a lot of assumptions, and then you just start making friends because they assume you're one way and you assume that maybe they're not another way, and then you're friends, and well, there you go.
• 39:36
SPEAKER_04: Now I've got a bunch of friends who are furries, and they're awesome.
• 39:39
SPEAKER_04: They are like the most supportive creative people.
• 39:42
SPEAKER_04: Now I run away and cringe, and I'm sorry, guys, and you know this about me, but I cringe when you bark, I cringe when you make cat noises or want to roll around or something.
• 39:52
  SPEAKER_04: That's when I'm out.
• 39:53
SPEAKER_04: But other than that, perfectly wonderful people.
• 39:55
SPEAKER_04: It's just Halloween all the time for them.
• 39:57
  SPEAKER_04: It's very good.
• 39:58
SPEAKER_01: It's interesting, you know what we're not gonna judge.
• 40:01
SPEAKER_01: The the the secret life of our country's IT people.
• 40:06
  SPEAKER_04: Yes, pretty much.
• 40:07
SPEAKER_04: My god, IT is run by furries, it's ridiculous.
• 40:10
  SPEAKER_04: It's all of them.
• 40:11
SPEAKER_04: Um, but yeah, they're huge art lovers.
• 40:14
SPEAKER_04: And uh, yeah, I mean, yeah, no judgment.
• 40:16
SPEAKER_04: They they're perfectly lovely folks.
• 40:18
SPEAKER_04: So because I think we all learned a lot.
• 40:19
SPEAKER_03: You're thinking about all the IT people I know.
• 40:21
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they're you know one in five.
• 40:24
  SPEAKER_03: You're not wrong.
• 40:25
  SPEAKER_04: That's not a real stat.
• 40:26
  SPEAKER_04: I just said that.
• 40:27
SPEAKER_04: It just seems like it seems possible.
• 40:29
SPEAKER_01: Rob is my IT guy.
• 40:30
SPEAKER_01: Rob, do we have to chat?
• 40:32
SPEAKER_04: What kind of animal are you, uh, Rob?
• 40:34
  SPEAKER_04: What's your fursona?
• 40:35
SPEAKER_03: Um I mean, I do have I do have this.
• 40:40
  SPEAKER_03: Is this kill?
• 40:41
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
• 40:42
SPEAKER_04: So you've it looks like you've killed a wolf or possibly a very large spider, and its eyes are now looking at us?
• 40:48
  SPEAKER_03: Let's go with spider.
• 40:49
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, spider, okay.
• 40:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I love that description for everybody that's listening because uh they what are they picturing right now?
• 40:56
SPEAKER_04: Well, you look, you know, uh somewhere between Jon Snow and the guy who liked uh Brienne.
• 41:02
  SPEAKER_04: I don't remember his name.
• 41:03
  SPEAKER_04: Both Game of Thrones.
• 41:05
SPEAKER_04: The guy who liked Brienne was, I don't know.
• 41:07
SPEAKER_04: He's memed everywhere, he seems lovely.
• 41:10
SPEAKER_04: Anyway, yeah, no, it just looks like a you've scalped a spider and now you've got it around your shoulders.
• 41:16
SPEAKER_04: No leg zone, only the fuzzy fire.
• 41:18
  SPEAKER_03: I like that.
• 41:19
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, and that's pretty threatening.
• 41:20
SPEAKER_03: Maybe I should add a couple like googly eyes here.
• 41:22
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, that'd be great.
• 41:23
  SPEAKER_04: There you go.
• 41:23
SPEAKER_04: You got your Halloween costume sorted.
• 41:25
  SPEAKER_03: I love it.
• 41:26
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 41:27
SPEAKER_01: I I I sometimes worry that we are making AI more nimble with how quickly and wildly we switch between topics, forcing Spotify to make chapters uh where each of these topics is labeled.
• 41:42
SPEAKER_01: Uh if you go to our Spotify, you will see if you go back to prior episodes, it will list in chronological order what the AI believes that we discussed.
• 41:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, so this episode here, uh, when you apologized before and you said, Oh, I'm so sorry, we're we're going back and forth on everything.
• 42:00
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, no, no, make it work.
• 42:03
  SPEAKER_01: Fight.
• 42:05
SPEAKER_03: You know, it's like that one episode where we literally just tried to shove as many topics into the podcast as we could.
• 42:12
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 42:12
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, really?
• 42:13
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 42:14
  SPEAKER_04: Excellent.
• 42:15
SPEAKER_03: It's literally called uh something like we tried to shove as many topics into this podcast as we could.
• 42:21
SPEAKER_04: I think I saw that one when I was scrolling through.
• 42:24
  SPEAKER_03: There you go.
• 42:25
SPEAKER_04: That's also where it says that Liam has just had a baby, is on your Spotify bio just so you know.
• 42:29
  SPEAKER_03: Oh.
• 42:30
SPEAKER_04: I mean, just is is perspective, right?
• 42:33
SPEAKER_04: Well, when the show started.
• 42:34
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 42:36
SPEAKER_01: That's he had the baby when the show started.
• 42:38
  SPEAKER_01: He had all right.
• 42:39
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he had it on the I don't remember if it was before or after the second episode.
• 42:44
SPEAKER_01: I can't find that episode where we're gonna be able to do that.
• 42:47
SPEAKER_03: That's how I know how old the show is.
• 42:48
SPEAKER_03: It's the same age as Oakley.
• 42:50
SPEAKER_04: Oh, well, it's an easy way to remember then.
• 42:52
  SPEAKER_01: Here it is.
• 42:53
  SPEAKER_01: February.
• 42:54
SPEAKER_01: So we start off with uh Bear Fights and Bleed Out Spots.
• 42:58
SPEAKER_01: Uh hosts reunite in legacy episode praise on waiting for verif Okay, uh long longevity, culture, and young blood claims.
• 43:07
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know what that means.
• 43:07
SPEAKER_01: DeLorean EV lawsuit and vaporwave.
• 43:10
SPEAKER_01: Fit and healthy, happy podcast.
• 43:12
SPEAKER_01: It says that's an ad.
• 43:13
SPEAKER_01: We don't run ads on here, so that was something that we joked about.
• 43:17
SPEAKER_01: Uh what animal could you actually beat?
• 43:19
SPEAKER_01: Giraffe vertebrae on accidental learning.
• 43:21
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's just bad.
• 43:23
SPEAKER_01: Eventually we get to talk about ice and accountability.
• 43:27
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is crazy.
• 43:28
SPEAKER_04: It just picks up any topic and just crams it in there as a chapter.
• 43:32
SPEAKER_01: Can we beat it on this episode?
• 43:34
  SPEAKER_01: Polyps, piss, furries.
• 43:36
SPEAKER_01: We we we can we can top it.
• 43:38
SPEAKER_03: I realize we never actually said, yeah.
• 43:41
SPEAKER_03: Um Liam's not here because he's out getting a DeLorean.
• 43:44
SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, Liam's not here right now.
• 43:46
SPEAKER_01: He will be getting a DeLorean.
• 43:47
SPEAKER_01: We me and Liam, uh, I mean, I want to save it until we're all together.
• 43:51
SPEAKER_01: We we took a trip to Vegas a week or two ago, and he he he may end up with a DeLorean at some point.
• 43:59
  SPEAKER_04: A real actual one?
• 44:00
SPEAKER_04: Is it the gold-plated one from Washington?
• 44:02
SPEAKER_04: And I always saw no one.
• 44:03
  SPEAKER_04: Not the gold-plated one.
• 44:04
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 44:05
SPEAKER_01: That one, there was this contest that was ran some years ago, many years ago, with a the ugliest gold-plated DeLorean.
• 44:12
  SPEAKER_04: It really is ugly.
• 44:13
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 44:13
  SPEAKER_01: Um, it's it's not, it's it's i i i the DeLorean looks good in exactly one color.
• 44:19
SPEAKER_01: And it's this one right here.
• 44:21
SPEAKER_04: Yep, that is the one.
• 44:22
  SPEAKER_04: That's the guy.
• 44:23
SPEAKER_04: It needs the uh electrical line catcher too, or else it doesn't look right.
• 44:26
  SPEAKER_04: Yep, needs it.
• 44:27
SPEAKER_01: Well, okay, so you you're a fan of DeLoreans, huh?
• 44:30
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I you well, used to be more so, but I I know of a DeLorean.
• 44:35
SPEAKER_04: I know the flux capacitor, I know the eighty eight, it's pretty much all I got.
• 44:39
SPEAKER_04: That's all I got to ask me anymore.
• 44:42
  SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
• 44:43
  SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
• 44:44
  SPEAKER_04: Well look look, here.
• 44:47
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 44:48
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 44:48
  SPEAKER_04: Good.
• 44:49
SPEAKER_01: That only intrigues me more.
• 44:51
  SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
• 44:52
SPEAKER_04: Well, do you want to talk about my unrendered place?
• 44:54
  SPEAKER_04: So here's the thing.
• 44:55
  SPEAKER_04: Here's the thing.
• 44:56
  SPEAKER_04: Uh, hoodie, right?
• 44:58
SPEAKER_04: There's this is this hoodie is actually my skin because when my husband modeled this, there's no body under here.
• 45:04
  SPEAKER_04: It's just hoodie.
• 45:06
SPEAKER_04: So since I'm a VTuber as well and it only goes to my waist, the bottom is just stumps.
• 45:12
  SPEAKER_04: I mean, look, I'll show you.
• 45:13
  SPEAKER_04: I'll show you.
• 45:14
SPEAKER_01: If you stand up, what happens?
• 45:16
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 45:17
SPEAKER_04: I mean, well, if I stand up, nothing happens.
• 45:19
SPEAKER_04: But if I show you if it's gonna let me.
• 45:21
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, there we go.
• 45:24
  SPEAKER_04: The flip is opening.
• 45:25
SPEAKER_04: What is going on there?
• 45:27
  SPEAKER_04: So it's it's completely unrendered.
• 45:29
SPEAKER_04: It's just two extruded meat chunks to represent legs for VR if I go in.
• 45:35
SPEAKER_04: Now I actually have feet in VR, but uh, yeah, I just find it really funny because like there's nothing in there.
• 45:40
SPEAKER_04: It's just two chunks of the thing.
• 45:43
  SPEAKER_03: Something open.
• 45:44
  SPEAKER_03: Something open.
• 45:45
SPEAKER_03: There was like a slit.
• 45:48
  SPEAKER_03: There was a separation.
• 45:50
  SPEAKER_04: Hold on.
• 45:50
  SPEAKER_04: Really?
• 45:50
  SPEAKER_04: Hold on.
• 45:51
  SPEAKER_04: What if I move?
• 45:53
  SPEAKER_01: Feeling like moving.
• 45:54
SPEAKER_01: Now that we've talked about it opened.
• 45:57
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I don't know what that is.
• 45:58
SPEAKER_04: Oh god, maybe the part with the menopause happening.
• 46:01
SPEAKER_04: I don't know how to explain that one.
• 46:03
SPEAKER_01: Did we discover new parts today?
• 46:05
SPEAKER_04: Well, husband does say he's going to update the model at some point, but we'll we'll keep the unrendered place as it is because it's just it's fun to refer to your dual genitalia as the unrendered place.
• 46:13
SPEAKER_04: It just it shuts down a lot of conversations very quickly.
• 46:17
SPEAKER_04: But now I've shared that with you.
• 46:19
SPEAKER_04: Um I wanted to touch a touch on something else.
• 46:22
SPEAKER_03: The only thing that I wanted you a VTuber for is just to call it the unrendered place.
• 46:26
SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah, you can make your under-rendered place wild too.
• 46:29
SPEAKER_04: Like if you actually render it out, just have another face tracking your own face down there.
• 46:33
SPEAKER_04: That was another idea we had.
• 46:39
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you just change your voice a little bit.
• 46:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, then when you don't want to do the the piss bag stuff, you refer to your unrendered place and it's just my face as a dick.
• 46:48
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, hey everybody, it's it's the after hours special.
• 46:51
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna look at the piss bag.
• 46:54
  SPEAKER_04: I mean of urge.
• 46:55
SPEAKER_04: I if you stream urge or if you do that, I will 100% watch because watching people do that, the first thing they always do is piss on everything, and then the game gets really, really, really difficult.
• 47:07
SPEAKER_04: You shouldn't piss on everything, but you have to get it out of your system.
• 47:10
  SPEAKER_04: And I understand that.
• 47:11
  SPEAKER_04: That's important.
• 47:12
  SPEAKER_04: Um yeah.
• 47:15
SPEAKER_04: Um I wanted to ask, how do how do people generally take testosterone in, you know, if people are taking testosterone in in your lines of work, what does that look like?
• 47:27
SPEAKER_04: Is it like an injection?
• 47:29
  SPEAKER_04: Is it a gel?
• 47:29
SPEAKER_03: Do you ever shooting a needle in your ass?
• 47:33
  SPEAKER_04: Oh hell.
• 47:33
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so it goes directly into the muscle.
• 47:36
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 47:36
SPEAKER_04: So it's interesting because testosterone also gets um uh prescribed to women going through menopause.
• 47:43
SPEAKER_04: Um that one I haven't gotten yet, but it becomes a gel that they typically put right on the hoo-ha, just right in the unrendered place, um, at a very, very low dosage that's supposed to increase libido and to get your you know, your wetness back where it's supposed to be wet, etc.
• 47:59
  SPEAKER_04: The whole thing.
• 48:00
SPEAKER_04: And that's interesting that I've never really considered how much testosterone women hold just day to day, and that that also dries out when going through menopause.
• 48:09
SPEAKER_04: Um, is there any go ahead.
• 48:12
SPEAKER_03: There is a there is a gel um that people apply to their testicles for people who are on legitimate HRT, because it's it is definitely a lower dose.
• 48:23
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 48:23
SPEAKER_03: Um although they still can opt for uh the ventral gluteol injection.
• 48:29
SPEAKER_03: Um if your dose is low enough, you could actually do it in the shoulder as well.
• 48:33
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 48:34
SPEAKER_04: Is there any interesting uh change in the area that it is injected uh into versus the rest of the body, like additional veins, more hair growth, discoloration?
• 48:45
SPEAKER_03: The only thing would be if they are self-administering the injection and they don't know what they're doing and they nick the artery, it will inflate with blood.
• 48:55
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, that seems bad.
• 48:56
SPEAKER_04: That seems like you want the blood in the in the vein, not the rest of the body.
• 49:00
SPEAKER_01: Typically, yeah, fatal sides of that would be uh the shrinking of the testicles.
• 49:08
SPEAKER_01: That'll happen as well because they are no longer relied upon for the production of uh said hormones and it just shuts that down.
• 49:18
SPEAKER_01: Even if they were to get off of that at a certain point, there's no turning back.
• 49:21
SPEAKER_01: You have shut off your body's natural hormone production.
• 49:25
SPEAKER_01: So if you're on a uh what they would call a cycle uh for you know more than about four to six months or so, you basically just nerf your body and uh you shut it down, which is not a problem if somebody is taking that for therapeutic purposes or medical purposes, yeah, like you would be, or you know, somebody who's older who needs that hormone replacement therapy, the HRT.
• 49:47
SPEAKER_01: Um, but you know, these kids are are young doing this, you know, 18, 19, 20, and they're just ruining their bodies forever.
• 49:56
SPEAKER_01: Um, the the other thing there is those types of drugs strengthen all muscles.
• 50:03
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, pulling back to that one guy who's in the hospital for his heart, the heart is a muscle.
• 50:09
SPEAKER_01: So those performance-enhancing drugs strengthen and harden the heart, which makes it work harder and it's it's more difficult.
• 50:17
SPEAKER_01: So you get a lot of these bodybuilder types who end up dying in their their 30s or 40s uh from complications from these drugs.
• 50:25
SPEAKER_01: And it's um it's now this won't happen to you know to those listening.
• 50:30
SPEAKER_01: If you need legitimate hormone replacement therapy, that won't happen to you because it's yeah, we're talking super physiological levels of testosterone.
• 50:40
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 50:41
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, there's there are a lot, uh, like you said before, the the the less scary ones is yes, there's gonna be more body hair growth.
• 50:48
SPEAKER_01: You may lose your the hair on your head.
• 50:52
SPEAKER_01: Um, that'll happen as well.
• 50:54
SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, definitely more venous uh all over the place.
• 50:59
  SPEAKER_01: More acne.
• 51:00
SPEAKER_01: Yes, uh people who are taking it's because it it's your your uh your liver and your kidneys have trouble filtering all of that out.
• 51:09
SPEAKER_01: So uh it's it's a sign of poor kidney function in somebody who's on those sorts of drugs when you see boils and and acne, and they'll say, Well, this is just something that I've had.
• 51:21
  SPEAKER_01: It's it's not.
• 51:22
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I was wondering about that because I've seen pictures with all the acne and whatnot, and on a very bemuscled individual and people going, that's a sure sign of testosterone usage, and I've never knew why, but that makes sense.
• 51:33
SPEAKER_04: That that makes a lot of sense.
• 51:35
SPEAKER_04: Also, the as you mentioned, the kidney kind of trying to push things back out through your face.
• 51:39
SPEAKER_04: That's it's an interesting line to think about when you put it into those kind of words of like the kidney says no, it's coming out your cheek for some reason.
• 51:46
SPEAKER_04: Sometimes it comes out right beside your eye because it just hates that part of you today.
• 51:50
SPEAKER_04: But also, I had no idea that testosterone overloading could basically make your body go, Welp, you don't need my testosterone anymore, then do you?
• 51:59
  SPEAKER_04: Fine.
• 52:00
  SPEAKER_04: It just leaves you.
• 52:01
SPEAKER_01: It's strange how it doesn't, I don't know what the reason is that it doesn't turn back on eventually, but yeah, it just it's you know, because you can lose a piece of your brain and you're the rest of your brain will like, you know, neurologically starfish around it.
• 52:16
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but like, yeah, when it comes to messing with hormones, if if you don't know what you're doing, you're you know, you're not working with a doctor and and you're shooting way more than you're supposed to for legitimate biological purposes, it you run the risk of really, really hurting yourself, and that risk is very high.
• 52:35
  SPEAKER_01: It's not like a fringe thing.
• 52:37
SPEAKER_01: Me and Rob see people in the hospital all the time for this type of thing.
• 52:42
SPEAKER_04: So there's two things I want to touch on with that.
• 52:44
SPEAKER_04: Um, I'm gonna try and not forget.
• 52:46
SPEAKER_04: So the first one I wanted to ask you, because it sounds like you have the experience, is is there any scenario where um um uh somebody assigned male at birth needs to take uh estrogen for non-gender affirming reasons?
• 52:59
SPEAKER_01: We do need a balance of everyone needs a balance of both.
• 53:02
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 53:02
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 53:03
SPEAKER_04: Any excess, like injected estrogen or gel estrogen for some reason.
• 53:07
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna actually there would be conditions.
• 53:10
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't I can't name any off the top of my head, but there would be conditions that would cause a lack of estrogen in men.
• 53:17
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm just I'm curious because I'm thinking about it and I've been doing all this reading, and I haven't run into any situations where um a man who believes and continues to want to be a man has needed estrogen in the same way that women in menopause need a testosterone gel, which is interesting since we all start off as females in the womb, right?
• 53:36
SPEAKER_03: Um and one thing um men don't actually realize is estrogen is actually required for us to have an erection.
• 53:44
  SPEAKER_04: Really?
• 53:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, women at it again.
• 53:47
  SPEAKER_04: Yep.
• 53:48
SPEAKER_03: Um they did a study where they like had a group of men, they zeroed out their testosterone, kept the estrogen intact, they were still able to get an erection.
• 54:01
SPEAKER_03: They took those men, they zeroed out the estrogen, left their testosterone intact, they were having erectile dysfunction.
• 54:07
  SPEAKER_04: That's wild.
• 54:08
SPEAKER_04: Oh man, yeah, I want to read about that.
• 54:10
SPEAKER_01: There um there is a theory.
• 54:13
SPEAKER_01: Now, again, this is unfounded, but I am going to show you two images here.
• 54:17
SPEAKER_01: Um you're familiar with Elon Musk, yes.
• 54:20
SPEAKER_01: I think all of us are.
• 54:22
SPEAKER_01: Um there was a theory that he was on estrogen blockers.
• 54:28
  SPEAKER_01: Again, unfounded.
• 54:29
SPEAKER_01: We're not quite sure about it.
• 54:31
SPEAKER_01: Um I'm gonna pull up a picture here for those of you who are not over on our uh YouTube page.
• 54:37
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah.
• 54:38
SPEAKER_01: Those theories came from seeing, yeah, that he was built this way, which you know, no shame to his body, definitely shame to his brain because it's rotten.
• 54:47
SPEAKER_01: Um his uh he he's looking a little strange, you know, he's bulgy around the chest, he's got like a weird posture, short arm.
• 54:57
SPEAKER_01: Um this is what an estrogen deficiency looks like.
• 55:00
  SPEAKER_04: Really?
• 55:01
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 55:02
  SPEAKER_04: Interesting in the hump.
• 55:03
SPEAKER_04: If you go back to that previous picture, does he also have the hump on the back?
• 55:06
SPEAKER_04: Not yet, but maybe that's just the angle.
• 55:08
  SPEAKER_01: Not quite.
• 55:09
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, this one's obviously a bit more extreme, but you can see sort of the similarities between now again.
• 55:16
SPEAKER_01: This is not confirmed, but there were some theories floating around, and the prevailing ones were that he were he was on some estrogen blockers, and I guess doesn't have a person in his life to tell him no.
• 55:28
SPEAKER_01: Um so obviously that would have came from like a manosphere type of thought of like, well, estrogen is for girls, so we I just need testosterone, I just need to be a man.
• 55:39
SPEAKER_01: We need a mix of everything, like Rob said, um, to keep it all in line.
• 55:45
SPEAKER_01: You're the one that said that.
• 55:46
SPEAKER_01: I'm the one that said that.
• 55:48
SPEAKER_01: Rob talked about the boners.
• 55:50
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 55:51
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, absolutely.
• 55:52
  SPEAKER_04: I concur.
• 55:53
  SPEAKER_04: Oh man, that's interesting.
• 55:54
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 55:55
SPEAKER_04: Um the other uh, yeah, so we were talking about uh dosing and making sure it's correct.
• 56:01
SPEAKER_04: One of the other things I wanted to bring up about the perimenopause situation and the different kinds of drugs that you take is that it's a lot like uh anesthesiology, where um basically, if it's still true, I don't know because I haven't read about this for like 10 years, but anesthesiologists don't exactly know why the things they give us do what they do.
• 56:20
SPEAKER_04: They just know how much to give and how to protect us from it.
• 56:24
SPEAKER_04: But like there's no real understanding of how it's knocking us out entirely.
• 56:29
SPEAKER_04: I don't know if that's still true, but it was true at a point within the last uh two, two, twenty years.
• 56:35
SPEAKER_03: Time to book an anesthesiologist on here.
• 56:37
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, absolutely.
• 56:38
SPEAKER_04: That would be so cool.
• 56:40
SPEAKER_04: Um so the same thing is true for uh progesterone and estrogen, not to the same degree.
• 56:45
SPEAKER_04: We know what they do and we know um how they do it, but as to the amount and to what a specific person needs, they don't know.
• 56:54
SPEAKER_04: So you have to start in a generalized area and then keep track of everything and work it out.
• 56:59
SPEAKER_04: So, for example, for me, um the 200 milligrams of progesterone, when I'm on it in the two weeks that I cycle, I sleep good, I don't sweat, everything's great.
• 57:08
SPEAKER_04: But as soon as I come off it, those things are back again.
• 57:11
SPEAKER_04: So when I talk to my gynecologist in December, I'm gonna have to be like, here was my experience, here's what happens on the cycled on, the cycled off, and here's what I think should change and see if she agrees or not.
• 57:21
SPEAKER_04: And that's all you can do.
• 57:22
  SPEAKER_04: It's testing.
• 57:23
  SPEAKER_03: And also go ahead.
• 57:26
SPEAKER_03: It's similar um with men taking testosterone, where uh each individual person will respond to different amounts differently.
• 57:35
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 57:36
SPEAKER_04: Um, and you you really need to make sure that you have a doctor at your side with that because it's it's not just a matter of like, oh, I'll just take more because I'm not feeling the effects.
• 57:47
SPEAKER_04: Well, your body may not be able to accept that much more, or having that much might not be good, like for some reason, it might jingle your jangles in a bad way.
• 57:56
SPEAKER_04: Um the uh the other thing I wanted to touch on real quick because you it's it's interesting and very recent.
• 58:04
SPEAKER_04: Uh because I complained to my community about this, and then I just did the exact thing I was complaining about on your podcast.
• 58:11
SPEAKER_04: So uh I wanted to call it out, which is when I saw Musk, my first response was, ah, the Cybertruck body.
• 58:17
SPEAKER_04: And you're like, well, you know, we're we're not gonna body shame.
• 58:20
SPEAKER_04: And what I was bitching about last week to people was I really wish people would stop seeing people they hate for legitimate reasons, real good legitimate reasons, and insulting their body, knowing the people that they love and care about that are wonderful people have those same effects, whether it's wearing diapers or whether it's being obese or whether it's crooked teeth or having a cyber truck body, that's those things, that's not why you hate that person.
• 58:49
SPEAKER_04: So that's not the first thing you should break up uh bring up.
• 58:51
SPEAKER_04: And the fact that it came out of me so naturally just because it was the first word associated, I was like, oh my god, I did it too.
• 58:56
SPEAKER_01: Oh, one of the reasons I said that was because in my brain, I oh I still want to make like a quick joke just because I don't like the guy.
• 59:05
SPEAKER_01: But it it's there are people out there that I don't hate that look like that.
• 59:10
SPEAKER_01: And it's I guess like you said, it's not the reason that I don't like him.
• 59:13
  SPEAKER_01: I don't like him because he's a Nazi.
• 59:15
SPEAKER_01: But the uh the other stuff is like his body's his body, even if he's the one that made it that way.
• 59:21
SPEAKER_01: Now, I will criticize those who are super strong on steroids because they are making a brand on uh having changed their bodies the way that they did, and they're influencing people whether they are doing so verbally or not.
• 59:36
SPEAKER_01: Um they're young, impressionable people who want to look like their heroes, and they know how the their heroes got that way, and so they're gonna be more inclined to do it.

SPEAKER_01: Um, so it's muscles from steroids are less to me an image of strength and more so an image of end stage drug abuse, is is the way really that I see it now.
• 1:00:00
SPEAKER_01: In this similar vein that you would see sores, open sores on someone who's using heroin.
• 1:00:05
SPEAKER_01: It's just a different needle with a different result.
• 1:00:07
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, that's it's uh something I've been thinking about a lot.
• 1:00:11
SPEAKER_04: And uh really, I don't know, it's very upsetting when because I, you know, I made the jab at Redditors earlier.
• 1:00:17
SPEAKER_04: I am a Redditor, I'm an avid Redditor, unfortunately.
• 1:00:19
SPEAKER_04: Um I read a lot, but if you all know it's you curate and you get what you get based on that.
• 1:00:24
SPEAKER_04: Um, but a lot of it is just making fun of people for this person has to use a diaper, this person is so short, this person is so fat.
• 1:00:34
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:00:35
SPEAKER_04: And tell me why you actually hate them.
• 1:00:37
SPEAKER_04: Like you don't hate them because of that.
• 1:00:39
SPEAKER_04: You didn't know them because of that.
• 1:00:41
  SPEAKER_04: So anyway.
• 1:00:42
SPEAKER_01: My my exception is I would uh you know, in in much of a lot of my content, I will call out people who are shaming others and and bullies and everything.
• 1:00:52
SPEAKER_01: And I sometimes, actually a lot of times, I will see a heavier person criticizing somebody who I'm defending in my video who is heavier.
• 1:01:03
SPEAKER_01: And I'll be like, brother, take take a look.
• 1:01:06
SPEAKER_01: Like I know where this is coming from.
• 1:01:08
SPEAKER_01: You are not in good shape either.
• 1:01:11
SPEAKER_01: So we we we've got to take a deep look and figure out where that's coming from.
• 1:01:15
SPEAKER_04: Is it uh do you think it's a crab bucket situation where yeah, it's like I was once there, I'm gonna keep pulling this guy back down with me because I'm still kind of there.
• 1:01:25
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, or I'm gonna show everyone around me that I'm better than this person by putting them down.
• 1:01:30
SPEAKER_03: Or they'll even crab bucket stuck in my head.
• 1:01:32
SPEAKER_04: Put your crab in the bucket.
• 1:01:33
  SPEAKER_04: It's a great song.
• 1:01:34
  SPEAKER_04: Dun dun dun dun.
• 1:01:36
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:01:36
SPEAKER_04: Constantly on my on my list.
• 1:01:38
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 1:01:39
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's um that's an interesting one too.
• 1:01:42
SPEAKER_04: I uh uh at one point I was 300 pounds and now I'm like 225, some something in there.
• 1:01:48
SPEAKER_04: Um so it's not like I'm still obese, but I'm I was also uh I'm obese now, but I was also obese then in a different way, right?
• 1:01:57
SPEAKER_04: So it's it's interesting to look at that and think about how different my perspective was then versus now.
• 1:02:03
SPEAKER_04: Um and I just I I see the same thing you're seeing is like fat people bringing down other fat people.
• 1:02:09
SPEAKER_04: It's like, what are you doing?
• 1:02:11
SPEAKER_04: Like we've got enough of this.
• 1:02:13
SPEAKER_04: And also like, don't don't get me, okay.
• 1:02:15
SPEAKER_04: The the I don't understand what it is, and maybe you guys can shed this some light on this one.
• 1:02:19
SPEAKER_04: Is why is it if there is a fat man posted somewhere, it's like it's jovial, it's funny, it's okay.
• 1:02:25
SPEAKER_04: People generally talk about who he is.
• 1:02:27
SPEAKER_04: Yes, there will be fat jokes, but if there's a fat woman posted, oh my god, why don't I just go die in a fire?
• 1:02:33
  SPEAKER_04: Why is that?
• 1:02:35
SPEAKER_01: I have made plenty of videos on that.
• 1:02:37
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's just like they're upset, like they're a little bit attracted and they're upset about it and they want to be mean about it.
• 1:02:42
  SPEAKER_01: I mmm, but that's a one time I posted a side-by-side of two in shape.
• 1:02:51
SPEAKER_01: There was a a woman and a man, and then it cuts to both of them heavier because they had both regained weight.
• 1:02:59
SPEAKER_01: And I said to the viewer, I said, let me know which one of these two people is worse.
• 1:03:05
SPEAKER_01: And you know, you would see that video and you'd go, well, neither of them.
• 1:03:08
SPEAKER_01: They both were fit before, and something happened, they got heavier.
• 1:03:12
SPEAKER_01: And I said, Well, if we were to refer to the comment section of both of those videos, you would see that one is is being covered in praise and saying, like, oh man, you'll get through this, you're gonna do it.
• 1:03:22
SPEAKER_01: And the other one is being absolutely vilified.
• 1:03:26
SPEAKER_04: Why do we think that is?
• 1:03:27
  SPEAKER_01: The internet hates women.
• 1:03:29
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, seems to.
• 1:03:31
SPEAKER_01: Um I mean, that's kind of the sad answer, yeah.
• 1:03:33
  SPEAKER_01: It's beyond that, nothing.
• 1:03:35
SPEAKER_01: It's the say like with this horrendous Cornell 7 case.
• 1:03:39
  SPEAKER_01: I haven't seen a woman defending these men.
• 1:03:41
SPEAKER_01: No, it's I'm sure there's a couple of them out there, but it by and large, the comment section I posted a video about it.
• 1:03:48
SPEAKER_01: It's all men who look like they would have been in that group chat.
• 1:03:52
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, exactly.
• 1:03:53
  SPEAKER_04: I've I've noticed this thing.
• 1:03:54
  SPEAKER_01: Zero women.
• 1:03:55
SPEAKER_04: I've just never understood why men are so violent towards women in general on the internet.
• 1:04:03
SPEAKER_04: It's like you see a fat woman, it's like you've posted the worst thing that's ever existed, even if they're love.
• 1:04:08
SPEAKER_04: Like there's this one woman.
• 1:04:10
SPEAKER_04: Um, she's got quite a different face.
• 1:04:12
SPEAKER_04: Her nose is a little bit larger, she's got glasses, she's large, and people kept posting her saying, This is the ugliest woman ever.
• 1:04:18
SPEAKER_04: I don't want to ever see her face.
• 1:04:19
SPEAKER_04: And she was like, I'm gonna take a selfie every day.
• 1:04:21
  SPEAKER_04: She's so great, she's so wonderful.
• 1:04:23
SPEAKER_04: And people continue to just go be mean to this person.
• 1:04:26
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, why would you do that to a person like that?
• 1:04:30
SPEAKER_04: And it doesn't make any sense to me.
• 1:04:32
SPEAKER_04: Um, I I've it's something I've always tried to figure out, and I've I've contemplated just posting because I know exactly what happened.
• 1:04:39
  SPEAKER_04: Just ask Reddit, right?
• 1:04:41
SPEAKER_04: Why do you hate women?
• 1:04:43
  SPEAKER_04: What like why?
• 1:04:44
  SPEAKER_04: Is it I don't know.
• 1:04:45
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna make um uh Is it is it this woman here?
• 1:04:49
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's her.
• 1:04:50
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she's lovely.
• 1:04:51
  SPEAKER_04: Yes.
• 1:04:51
SPEAKER_01: I I just I hate that I had to type an ugly woman take selfie every day, but that's what came up.
• 1:04:57
  SPEAKER_01: And now that's her.
• 1:04:58
SPEAKER_01: It's yeah, I guess she's marketing it that way.
• 1:05:01
SPEAKER_01: I want to find it.
• 1:05:03
SPEAKER_04: She deserves it, she's got one hell of a personality, like she seems cool as hell.
• 1:05:07
SPEAKER_01: Her name is Melissa Blake.
• 1:05:09
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:05:10
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna try to find her page so I can Melissa Blake 81.
• 1:05:15
SPEAKER_03: She goes, There's all the addition to that, you always see um like couples where the guy is average weight.
• 1:05:23
SPEAKER_03: Let's just go with average weight.
• 1:05:25
SPEAKER_03: You know, he's not like super fit or anything.
• 1:05:27
SPEAKER_03: And then the woman in the couple is obese, possibly, you know, uh morbidly obese.
• 1:05:35
SPEAKER_03: The comments are always like that dude should ditch her, that dude can do better.
• 1:05:40
SPEAKER_03: That dude, you know, always down about the woman.
• 1:05:44
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:05:44
  SPEAKER_04: Yep.
• 1:05:45
SPEAKER_04: And yet we have sitcoms like uh King of Queens, right?
• 1:05:48
SPEAKER_04: Or you know, Family Guy, where it's the opposite, and that's fine.
• 1:05:52
  SPEAKER_04: No comments about that.
• 1:05:53
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:05:54
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 1:05:55
SPEAKER_04: I I always wonder about that when I'm walking around with my husband because you know, I'm five foot three, two twenty five, and my husband is this gorgeous, like six foot one blonde guy, and he's average weight.
• 1:06:05
SPEAKER_04: I wonder if they think the same thing.
• 1:06:06
SPEAKER_04: Not that that matters, like in any way.
• 1:06:08
SPEAKER_04: It's just interesting to think about.
• 1:06:10
SPEAKER_04: And it's like, excuse me, I'm charming as hell.
• 1:06:12
SPEAKER_03: Sadly, if you posted that on the internet, that's probably comments you would get.
• 1:06:16
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:06:17
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
• 1:06:18
SPEAKER_04: The other, the interesting thing I also found, um, because I've been at 300 pounds and because I've been where I am, and I've also like the lowest I've ever been in my entire life, past the age of 16, was uh like 190.
• 1:06:30
SPEAKER_04: It's the lightest I've ever been for a five foot three woman, right?
• 1:06:33
SPEAKER_04: Um, when I was 300, um, there was a point where no one would yell at me, no one would make fun of me.
• 1:06:40
SPEAKER_04: It was in the range of between 240 pounds and 270 pounds.
• 1:06:46
SPEAKER_04: People would yell at me on the street.
• 1:06:48
SPEAKER_04: But then as soon as I reach about a size 18, which is about where I am now, it goes the other way.
• 1:06:54
SPEAKER_04: People stop bothering me again and will actually start just talking to me.
• 1:06:58
SPEAKER_04: So it's like size 18 is the they're okay.
• 1:07:02
SPEAKER_04: But there's it was very strange where if I was over 270, everybody left me alone, under 270 to 240, yelled at on the street, things thrown at me.
• 1:07:11
  SPEAKER_04: I've never understood that.
• 1:07:12
SPEAKER_04: Like there's it's it's you know, it's only you know sample case of one, right?
• 1:07:16
SPEAKER_04: But uh I found that very interesting.
• 1:07:19
SPEAKER_03: I want to know if more people have experienced that.
• 1:07:24
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I would like to know that too.
• 1:07:26
SPEAKER_04: It there's because there's always gonna be this threshold, right?
• 1:07:29
SPEAKER_04: It's the same threshold of like when does bread become toast?
• 1:07:32
SPEAKER_04: You know, when do you become perceived as a person that deserves to be yelled at by disgusting humans, right?
• 1:07:40
SPEAKER_04: Um, when do you become toast?
• 1:07:42
SPEAKER_04: Because at least, I mean, I I bet it changes based on your location as well, because we're talking about Vancouver, Canada.
• 1:07:47
  SPEAKER_04: That's a that's a size 18.
• 1:07:49
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 1:07:50
SPEAKER_04: But if I were in the States, if I were in Italy, maybe it's smaller or larger.
• 1:07:55
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 1:07:55
SPEAKER_04: I would love to hear other feedback about that.
• 1:07:57
SPEAKER_04: Now, is it one of you folks who lost a lot of weight?
• 1:08:00
SPEAKER_04: Is it is it you, Mike?
• 1:08:01
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:08:01
  SPEAKER_03: It's me.
• 1:08:02
  SPEAKER_03: Have you 110?
• 1:08:04
  SPEAKER_04: Good congratulations.
• 1:08:05
SPEAKER_03: I don't know which way I'm pointing to get to him.
• 1:08:07
  SPEAKER_03: He's just he's over there somewhere.
• 1:08:08
  SPEAKER_03: Somewhere.
• 1:08:09
SPEAKER_01: Rob will eventually finger me.
• 1:08:10
  SPEAKER_01: Wait, pause.
• 1:08:11
SPEAKER_04: Oh, wait till I'm gone, please.
• 1:08:14
SPEAKER_01: I've been asking him to do that a long time.
• 1:08:16
SPEAKER_01: I actually asked him to give me a colonoscopy, but he's he still won't do it for me.
• 1:08:20
  SPEAKER_04: It's not a long enough finger.
• 1:08:23
SPEAKER_04: You just need a longer finger.
• 1:08:24
  SPEAKER_04: It's fine.
• 1:08:24
SPEAKER_04: ET phone home, but the home is the secum.
• 1:08:27
SPEAKER_01: There's something just humorously charming about the uh the medical terms.
• 1:08:33
SPEAKER_01: I was listening to uh Andy Richter's podcast, and he was joking about the because he's lost a lot of weight recently, and he was joking about the idea that he had to lose weight so that he could get the fat guy roles.
• 1:08:49
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
• 1:08:50
SPEAKER_01: The idea was like, now he's not doing that, but like it, you know, if he was still doing that type of thing, like he he said that at his heaviest he wouldn't have gotten the fat guy roles because like people don't want to look at that and they don't want to see like a fat, fat guy, but a guy who's just like a little bit heavier but still shaped like maybe the average person is is easier to stomach, so to speak.
• 1:09:12
SPEAKER_01: And I I just I was like, that's you know, as somebody who has been on all sides of that.
• 1:09:19
SPEAKER_01: That that was a really interesting thought of like there may just be a point where I know the internet is different.
• 1:09:26
SPEAKER_01: The internet will there are some people on here that will just track down the fattest, heaviest person they can and and make a hit piece about them just because they can.
• 1:09:37
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I think on average, maybe it's I I just as a normal, functional, relatively human being, I can't imagine yelling at somebody across the str a stranger for their weight.
• 1:09:51
  SPEAKER_01: That's for any estimate.
• 1:09:54
SPEAKER_04: Unless they're wearing a Nazi symbol on them or something, like that's the case, yeah.
• 1:09:58
  SPEAKER_04: That's a punching.
• 1:09:59
SPEAKER_01: But that's something they can they can take off, you know, like they can remove it that day.
• 1:10:03
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 1:10:04
SPEAKER_04: So in your experience, when you were heavy, did you have people yell at you?
• 1:10:07
SPEAKER_04: And did you happen to notice if there was a particular point in your weight loss where they stopped?
• 1:10:13
SPEAKER_01: You're gonna hate this answer, but it's going to uh corroborate what you were saying before about the difference between men and women.
• 1:10:20
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 1:10:20
SPEAKER_04: Oh, did you never get yelled at?
• 1:10:22
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 1:10:23
SPEAKER_01: Nobody ever messed with me about my weight.
• 1:10:25
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, get bent respectfully and happily.
• 1:10:28
SPEAKER_01: It's and I say it all the time.
• 1:10:29
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, it's at my experience as a man, I was not treated better or worse as a heavier person simply because I am a man.
• 1:10:39
SPEAKER_01: I I think that if I had started doing the fitness content when I was still heavier, it would have been different.
• 1:10:46
SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, our our friend Rob, you and our friend Jesse Mully.
• 1:10:49
SPEAKER_01: Um, he started his progress overhaul on Instagram.
• 1:10:54
SPEAKER_01: Uh he started his fitness journey content um while he was still on the heavier end.
• 1:11:01
SPEAKER_01: Uh just recently he competed in a transformation bodybuilding competition.
• 1:11:05
SPEAKER_01: I think in second place it was insane the amount of effort.
• 1:11:08
  SPEAKER_04: That's work, Jesse.
• 1:11:09
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:11:10
SPEAKER_01: Uh it no longer does he present even slightly as heavy anymore.
• 1:11:14
SPEAKER_01: Um, but when he started, he still was.
• 1:11:16
SPEAKER_01: So people were criticizing him for being heavier, but that's because he was strictly in the fitness space, right?
• 1:11:23
SPEAKER_01: So they're saying, you know, why is a fat guy talking about fitness?
• 1:11:26
SPEAKER_01: But otherwise, like in person, he probably was left alone.
• 1:11:29
SPEAKER_04: Man, you just made me get pissed off about something else that I hadn't thought about in a long time, which is like, why did I come on the show to get mad?
• 1:11:35
  SPEAKER_04: It's fine, in matteration.
• 1:11:37
SPEAKER_04: Um, so the other thing that never the other thing that never made sense to me is if you want all the fat women to get thin, why won't you even give us athletic clothes?
• 1:11:47
  SPEAKER_04: Like, what?
• 1:11:48
SPEAKER_04: Why is all the athletic clothes super like baggy and bulky that you would never want to run in?
• 1:11:54
SPEAKER_04: Like, I remember I tried jogging when I was heavier and I was wearing sweatpants and and it just chafed.
• 1:12:00
SPEAKER_04: Like, and then I over time learned I have to wear tight leggings, which you know, as far as the media opinion goes, no one wants to see in order to be comfortable trying to do the activities that will improve my heart.
• 1:12:14
SPEAKER_04: That makes no sense either.
• 1:12:15
SPEAKER_04: And now I'm just mad you've never had well, yeah.
• 1:12:17
  SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
• 1:12:18
SPEAKER_01: I was just saying, criticizing women for being in the gym, because that'll happen too.
• 1:12:23
SPEAKER_01: People will just they'll see a video of a woman, a heavier woman, in the gym, and all the comments are like, why don't you go to the gym?
• 1:12:29
SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, you gotta stop eating too.
• 1:12:31
SPEAKER_01: Like, bro, she's doing the thing.
• 1:12:33
  SPEAKER_01: I she's doing it.
• 1:12:34
SPEAKER_04: So I was I remember that I had hit 200 pounds, and it was the first time in my life I had ever hit 200 pounds, and I was out on a walk with friends, and we were actually legitimately going to celebrate, and somebody yelled at their car window at me, eat more cake, fatty.
• 1:12:51
SPEAKER_04: And I'll never forget that because my reward for losing that weight was pancakes.
• 1:12:55
SPEAKER_04: And how did he know?
• 1:12:57
SPEAKER_04: But I will eat more pancakes.
• 1:12:58
  SPEAKER_04: You shut up.
• 1:12:59
SPEAKER_04: But it's like the timing.
• 1:13:01
SPEAKER_04: Um, and it's it's it's it's also, I think, when I look at fat people now and I think about it, if I have any of those thoughts, because even if you're fat, you have those thoughts.
• 1:13:12
SPEAKER_04: Like, I have always believed that the first thought in your head is essentially what you've been taught by the environment around you.
• 1:13:18
SPEAKER_04: Your second thought is actually you, right?
• 1:13:20
SPEAKER_04: It's how you react to that initial thought.
• 1:13:22
  SPEAKER_04: That's you.
• 1:13:23
SPEAKER_04: And I get those thoughts sometimes.
• 1:13:24
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, what the hell, dude?
• 1:13:25
  SPEAKER_04: You're pretty fat yourself.
• 1:13:27
SPEAKER_04: Like, uh, and then I'll look at it and I'll go, you know what?
• 1:13:31
SPEAKER_04: That person looks at me and thinks I'm massive, but they don't know that I used to be 300 pounds.
• 1:13:36
SPEAKER_04: They may have used to have been 500 pounds.
• 1:13:38
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know what their journey's been.
• 1:13:39
  SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't know.
• 1:13:40
SPEAKER_04: And I think about that a lot.
• 1:13:42
SPEAKER_04: That everybody thinks about not everybody, but most people think about that person at that moment in time, and no thought is given to what shaped them or where they're coming from or where they've gone.
• 1:13:51
SPEAKER_04: And now I have cotton eye joe stuck in my head, but that's okay.
• 1:13:55
SPEAKER_03: Um, but I still have crab bucket.
• 1:13:59
SPEAKER_04: Oh just we're just getting all this the C songs in here today.
• 1:14:03
SPEAKER_04: Crab bucket, Cotton Eye Joe.
• 1:14:05
SPEAKER_01: It's crazy how you can become invisible.
• 1:14:08
SPEAKER_01: Like uh calling back to Jesse again.
• 1:14:11
SPEAKER_01: He was over 500 pounds, and then he weighed in on stage, I think, at like 183.
• 1:14:17
  SPEAKER_01: Good god.
• 1:14:17
SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, it's the pictures of him at first were enormous.
• 1:14:22
SPEAKER_01: And uh yeah, but now you wouldn't know, you would have no idea that he was ever big.
• 1:14:27
SPEAKER_01: So and I wasn't that big uh to his size, but I was I was a heavy guy.
• 1:14:33
SPEAKER_01: And uh now no one, if I don't tell somebody, if I didn't make my whole career about it and you couldn't Google me, uh, you wouldn't know that I was I was heavy once.
• 1:14:43
SPEAKER_01: It's just that part of me disappears completely.
• 1:14:46
SPEAKER_04: I wonder at what weight men find that other men begin to to do the locker room talk about, oh, look at that fatty kind of thing to other people and what that reaction would be like from a previously fat person.
• 1:14:58
SPEAKER_04: Like if they didn't know, they didn't know you used to be heavy, and they're like, oh man, look at that fat guy over there.
• 1:15:03
SPEAKER_04: You know, what's your response?
• 1:15:04
SPEAKER_04: Like, the hell's wrong with you?
• 1:15:07
SPEAKER_01: Like it happens now, kind of, because you know, I will make this kind of uh content where I will highlight heavier people and the comments are you know telling me like, well, why are you giving this guy because I don't mention in every video that I lost all the weight that I did.
• 1:15:22
SPEAKER_01: So all the comments would be like, you know, why are you giving this fat slob the slack?
• 1:15:27
SPEAKER_01: Like you should be pushing him.
• 1:15:28
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, brother, if you knew me 10 years ago or whatever, you'd be saying the same things about me because you don't see my potential, you just see where I'm at.
• 1:15:37
SPEAKER_01: Meanwhile, you know, you look at me now, you're not gonna criticize me now for being fat, but it's he's halfway through his journey, he's just still got a bunch of weight to go.
• 1:15:46
SPEAKER_04: And you have all those lifetime experiences, which means you probably know way more than he does about any of that.
• 1:15:51
  SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
• 1:15:53
SPEAKER_01: You don't know how much weight somebody had to lose to be fat.
• 1:15:57
  SPEAKER_04: No, no, exactly.
• 1:15:59
SPEAKER_04: I I think the funniest, because it was the most confusing to me time I've ever been yelled at, is I was I was jogging around the park.
• 1:16:07
SPEAKER_04: I actually really like running now.
• 1:16:08
SPEAKER_04: Um, not that I do it often now because you know, knees, but I was running around the park, and as I passed this guy, he said, keep it up, fatty.
• 1:16:16
  SPEAKER_04: What?
• 1:16:17
SPEAKER_04: I was like, hold on, wait.
• 1:16:18
  SPEAKER_04: Uh thank you.
• 1:16:20
SPEAKER_04: I you know, if you would have left that last part off, that would have been actually very nice of you, idiot.
• 1:16:26
SPEAKER_04: But I just I was propelled by my confusion for the rest of that run.
• 1:16:30
SPEAKER_01: There's this um this scenario that I like to pitch.
• 1:16:35
SPEAKER_01: It's almost sort of as a joke, but it's it is a bit on the the horror side of things.
• 1:16:41
SPEAKER_01: Uh where I've said, like, how imagine right now that you are say 300 pounds, for example.
• 1:16:50
SPEAKER_01: I I usually pose this to people who were heavier before.
• 1:16:53
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:16:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, and somebody came up to you in the gym and with all sincerity patted you on the back and was like, good job, and then just walked away.
• 1:17:04
SPEAKER_04: Well, I hate being touched, so that would be a problem.
• 1:17:06
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, as far as the But like they don't know you, there's no reason for them to come up to you, but like it, they're just making it known that they see that you're fat and in the gym.
• 1:17:16
SPEAKER_04: You know, that's a good one because I've had similar things happen and I've thought of this before, but I can't think of the specifics.
• 1:17:23
SPEAKER_04: Oh no, no, I do remember is other just older men telling me, hey, great job, as I was running around.
• 1:17:29
  SPEAKER_04: I'm like, Yeah.
• 1:17:30
SPEAKER_04: It's the same as like I would give thumbs up to anybody running past me.
• 1:17:33
  SPEAKER_04: They're running, I'm running, great job, you're running.
• 1:17:35
SPEAKER_04: I hope you get away from whatever you're running from kind of situation.
• 1:17:39
SPEAKER_04: Whatever that happens to be.
• 1:17:41
SPEAKER_04: Um, I think I would take it positively too.
• 1:17:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean, that would keep me going for sure, right?
• 1:17:48
SPEAKER_04: You don't want too many bananas, that's too much potassium.
• 1:17:50
  SPEAKER_04: Everything in moderation, right?
• 1:17:52
SPEAKER_03: Hey, that's the name of the show.
• 1:17:54
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, except bananas.
• 1:17:56
  SPEAKER_03: Fuck bananas.
• 1:17:57
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:17:57
SPEAKER_04: I was actually prescribed but a banana a day for the palpitations, by the way.
• 1:18:02
SPEAKER_04: I I asked my doctor, like, are you prescribing me bananas?
• 1:18:05
  SPEAKER_04: He said yes.
• 1:18:06
SPEAKER_03: It's if I was ever prescribed a banana, yeah.
• 1:18:09
SPEAKER_03: I I would just I would go out and buy my first banana just to go back and throw it at them.
• 1:18:17
SPEAKER_04: Do you hate bananas that much?
• 1:18:18
SPEAKER_04: What do you not like about them?
• 1:18:20
SPEAKER_04: Are you eating the wrong bananas?
• 1:18:22
  SPEAKER_04: Everything.
• 1:18:22
SPEAKER_04: Okay, well, maybe oh, wait, the only thing he likes is the shape.
• 1:18:26
  SPEAKER_04: I see.
• 1:18:27
SPEAKER_01: I love how expressive could be better.
• 1:18:30
SPEAKER_04: It it was really important to me that uh people need to tell when I'm pissed off, or else it won't work.
• 1:18:35
SPEAKER_04: So, or confused or disgusted.
• 1:18:38
SPEAKER_04: Like the first time I tried Oreo Coke on stream, and they could absolutely tell that I hated it.
• 1:18:43
SPEAKER_01: I never got to try it.
• 1:18:45
SPEAKER_04: Oh, you're not missing much.
• 1:18:46
SPEAKER_04: It tastes like you just just grind grind up some cookies and dump them in your Coke and have at her.
• 1:18:52
  SPEAKER_04: That's it.
• 1:18:53
  SPEAKER_04: Don't recommend it.
• 1:18:54
SPEAKER_04: Also, there's uh you're not Canadians, but there's now craft dinner macaroni and cheese cream soda available.
• 1:18:59
  SPEAKER_04: So if you're near a border, I haven't tried that yet.
• 1:19:01
SPEAKER_01: Did you get this for me?
• 1:19:03
  SPEAKER_04: It's in Walmart.
• 1:19:04
  SPEAKER_04: It's in Walmart, apparently.
• 1:19:05
SPEAKER_03: Um have not looked for it, but I guess I will go get it for you.
• 1:19:11
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:19:11
SPEAKER_04: On the other side of this, however, you guys apparently have an ice cream that's still pickle and one that's ranch.
• 1:19:18
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:19:19
  SPEAKER_01: I haven't seen that.
• 1:19:20
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:19:20
SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, no, the way that Rob feels about bananas, I feel about pickles.
• 1:19:25
  SPEAKER_01: And that's controversial.
• 1:19:27
SPEAKER_01: I make people very upset when I say that.
• 1:19:29
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:19:30
  SPEAKER_04: I don't like bacon either.
• 1:19:31
SPEAKER_04: So I I miss that whole you guys know the whole think geek when there's bacon bacon shirts and bacon band-aids and bacon toothpaste.
• 1:19:39
SPEAKER_01: And it's like, oh god.
• 1:19:41
  SPEAKER_01: I love bacon, but I can't.
• 1:19:42
SPEAKER_01: What do you have with your pancakes then?
• 1:19:44
  SPEAKER_04: Joy?
• 1:19:44
SPEAKER_01: Because imagine it's usually somebody yelling at her through the window of their car is what she gets with her pancakes.
• 1:19:50
SPEAKER_04: Actually, uh, I really like the Beyond Breakfast sandwich uh sausages, and I'm not a vegetarian.
• 1:19:54
SPEAKER_04: I just really like them.
• 1:19:55
  SPEAKER_04: They're a lot less salt too.
• 1:19:57
SPEAKER_04: Um also the the yelling yelling people yelling through at me, just I got overworked because I thought about what I'm about to say.
• 1:20:05
SPEAKER_04: I was coming home from a muse concert one night in the dark by myself in 2007, let's say.
• 1:20:12
SPEAKER_04: I went past a van and they yelled fatty at me, which seems to be the generic term people like to yell, which is very so just perfect, very concise.
• 1:20:22
SPEAKER_04: Um, they threw a can of beer at me that was still full and hit me right in the stomach.
• 1:20:28
SPEAKER_04: Now it hurt, but I also am like you don't get to drink this now.
• 1:20:33
  SPEAKER_04: I have it.
• 1:20:34
  SPEAKER_04: This is mine.
• 1:20:36
SPEAKER_04: But I remember because there was a guy on his porch, like in the dark, going, You okay?
• 1:20:40
  SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, I'm fine.
• 1:20:41
SPEAKER_04: But I just I they must have been drug driving because that doesn't make any sense to me to throw a full can of beer at someone just because you find them as someone you don't want to bang.
• 1:20:52
SPEAKER_04: Which is like, I don't tell everyone I meet that I don't want to bang them.
• 1:20:55
SPEAKER_04: Am I supposed to do that?
• 1:20:56
SPEAKER_01: You have to let everybody know.
• 1:20:59
SPEAKER_04: By the way, just have to let you know.
• 1:21:02
  SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't have sex with you.
• 1:21:04
SPEAKER_04: I just thought you'd like to know that.
• 1:21:06
SPEAKER_04: I've had plenty of people tell me that, so maybe you know, I don't have enough people tell me that when I look like this.
• 1:21:10
  SPEAKER_04: It's actually on it's really unfortunate.
• 1:21:12
SPEAKER_04: Uh I was hoping I'd get a lot more of that.
• 1:21:15
SPEAKER_01: But actually, most of the comments we get on the in moderation uh page are just people telling me that I'm I'm not up to the I would not have sex with you.
• 1:21:24
SPEAKER_01: Join the get in line.
• 1:21:26
SPEAKER_03: You don't get to jump to line.
• 1:21:27
  SPEAKER_04: Get a number.
• 1:21:28
SPEAKER_03: Actually, most of the comments are just uh uh not enough dick jokes.
• 1:21:33
  SPEAKER_04: Not enough dick.
• 1:21:34
  SPEAKER_04: Well, not this time.
• 1:21:36
SPEAKER_01: We got plenty of dick dick jokes this time.
• 1:21:38
SPEAKER_04: You know, if you take a picture of me and send it to someone without telling them, it's an unsolicited dick dick picture.
• 1:21:43
  SPEAKER_01: I like it.
• 1:21:44
  SPEAKER_01: That's delightful.
• 1:21:45
SPEAKER_01: You you you are you are delightful.
• 1:21:48
  SPEAKER_01: I uh thank you.
• 1:21:49
SPEAKER_01: In in our constant search to replace me as the third host of Inmoderation, you you may take the uh Oh my god.
• 1:21:56
SPEAKER_01: Oh no, I was thinking of replacing Liam.
• 1:21:59
SPEAKER_03: I mean you fit in just perfectly here.
• 1:22:01
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, thank you.
• 1:22:02
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 1:22:03
SPEAKER_04: I mean, I could I could get some sort of uh shawl put onto me made out of a wolf or something to you know go with your spider if that would help.
• 1:22:11
SPEAKER_04: I could also get a very long beard.
• 1:22:13
SPEAKER_01: Liam may be injured tonight.
• 1:22:15
  SPEAKER_01: We don't know.
• 1:22:15
SPEAKER_01: Oh so if he doesn't make it, uh he he is out there on a very dangerous course, you know, so who knows?
• 1:22:23
  SPEAKER_01: Very dangerous.
• 1:22:26
SPEAKER_01: Oh, he did it uh two weeks ago, yeah.
• 1:22:28
SPEAKER_01: Um, but he survived that time.
• 1:22:32
SPEAKER_01: Okay, may not be surviving this time.
• 1:22:35
SPEAKER_04: The data says he'll survive this time until he doesn't, and then you know you need you need 30 samples to get an actual sample size.
• 1:22:42
SPEAKER_04: So he has to do this 30 times before you can really set to see what can happen.
• 1:22:45
  SPEAKER_04: 30 times, yeah.
• 1:22:46
SPEAKER_01: He can do it at most twice every two years.
• 1:22:50
SPEAKER_04: Oh, well, it's gonna take a while.
• 1:22:51
  SPEAKER_01: It's gonna take a while.
• 1:22:53
SPEAKER_03: By the end of that, he may actually injure himself.
• 1:22:55
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:22:55
  SPEAKER_04: By that age, yeah.
• 1:22:57
SPEAKER_01: The the color of this craft mac and cheese soda is appalling.
• 1:23:02
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I haven't looked it up yet.
• 1:23:03
SPEAKER_04: I can look it up too.
• 1:23:04
SPEAKER_01: I will pull it up right here.
• 1:23:07
SPEAKER_01: Uh over, you know, if you guys are still listening here on YouTube, go check this out.
• 1:23:11
SPEAKER_01: Um, you can see a little bit on the rim here.
• 1:23:14
  SPEAKER_01: I see.
• 1:23:15
SPEAKER_01: It is a nuclear orange.
• 1:23:17
SPEAKER_01: It is exactly the color you would expect.
• 1:23:19
SPEAKER_01: It's as if they were to put that cheese powder into water, uh uh seltzer water and and uh mix it up.
• 1:23:27
  SPEAKER_01: So that's what we're looking at.
• 1:23:30
SPEAKER_03: Let me let me go make a note to pick some up for you, Mike.
• 1:23:33
SPEAKER_04: So people are saying that they don't actually taste the cheese flavor.
• 1:23:36
SPEAKER_04: They say it tastes more like a probiotic drink.
• 1:23:39
  SPEAKER_01: I did see that.
• 1:23:40
SPEAKER_01: Somebody said here that it was uh sort of a tangy type of thing.
• 1:23:45
SPEAKER_01: Vanilla, classic vanilla style cream soda base with a savory hint of the iconic craft dinner cheese powder flavor, is what we're like.
• 1:23:53
SPEAKER_04: That sounds like marketing to me.
• 1:23:54
  SPEAKER_04: I don't believe that.
• 1:23:56
SPEAKER_01: Uh I will be trying it live on the show uh if Rob is able to find it.
• 1:24:01
SPEAKER_01: Uh Rob, is there anything you want me to send to you as well?
• 1:24:08
  SPEAKER_01: Great.
• 1:24:08
SPEAKER_01: Do you want oh, speaking of waffles, do you want the chicken and waffles Oreos?
• 1:24:12
  SPEAKER_02: What?
• 1:24:13
  SPEAKER_01: Chicken and Waffles.
• 1:24:14
  SPEAKER_01: Wait, what?
• 1:24:15
SPEAKER_03: They came out with a bunch of I saw your Oreo aisle.
• 1:24:19
  SPEAKER_01: Oh.
• 1:24:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I so Rob came to the States last year to visit, and um, I brought him into a Walmart.
• 1:24:26
SPEAKER_01: One of the things I needed to do was bring him into a Walmart so that he could see all of the monstrosities that we have.
• 1:24:33
SPEAKER_01: I brought him over to the Oreos, I brought him to the Gatorade Pop Tarts.
• 1:24:37
SPEAKER_01: We got to see all the fuckashery that the Americans have been doing with Pop Tarts.
• 1:24:42
SPEAKER_01: Uh he was it was as if you had unfrozen a caveman and and brought him in to this store to like look at like just a bunch of stuff he can't comprehend.
• 1:24:53
SPEAKER_01: Because he's got to catch up on 10,000 years of what he missed.
• 1:24:57
SPEAKER_04: When I last went into the States, which was some time ago, because I haven't gone in since you guys made some political decisions.
• 1:25:04
  unknown: Fair.
• 1:25:05
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I constantly would just go into the Walmart and admire your ice cream options.
• 1:25:09
  SPEAKER_04: It's ridiculous.
• 1:25:10
SPEAKER_04: Your Oreos, your Pop Tarts, it's just I it's wild.
• 1:25:14
SPEAKER_04: Also, even like Halo Top, which is eh, but sometimes it hits hits a need, right?
• 1:25:19
  SPEAKER_04: You had pumpkin pie.
• 1:25:20
SPEAKER_04: We never had pumpkin pie.
• 1:25:21
SPEAKER_04: I don't understand why you guys get so many more flavors than we do.
• 1:25:24
SPEAKER_04: But also now I want these banana pudding Oreos and deep fried Oreos.
• 1:25:28
SPEAKER_04: I want to try that.
• 1:25:29
SPEAKER_01: Banana pudding Oreos look real good.
• 1:25:31
SPEAKER_01: The deep fried Oreos, I did have those.
• 1:25:33
SPEAKER_01: I they weren't really all that good.
• 1:25:35
  SPEAKER_01: Um the banana pudding.
• 1:25:38
SPEAKER_03: Okay, let's just make a list of everything we want to try and we'll send it to each other, and then we'll come back here and we'll all try it live.
• 1:25:45
  SPEAKER_04: Sounds good.
• 1:25:46
SPEAKER_04: I uh I absolutely am gonna go uh find that craft dinner soda.
• 1:25:50
SPEAKER_04: I have to try it.
• 1:25:51
SPEAKER_04: It I don't I can't understand, like it's one of those things that in my head I can't determine what the taste profile might be like.
• 1:25:57
SPEAKER_04: I have to try it even if I hate it.
• 1:25:59
SPEAKER_03: Also, nobody tell Liam he'll just come home to this box of assorted stuff on his front door, and he'll have no idea why.
• 1:26:09
SPEAKER_04: Recommendation of a weird food that is actually very good, though it sounds strange, is uh from Japan.
• 1:26:15
  SPEAKER_04: Uh Kit Kats.
• 1:26:16
SPEAKER_04: They have every type of Kit Kat.
• 1:26:17
SPEAKER_04: Apple Kit Kats, very good.
• 1:26:20
  SPEAKER_04: Right?
• 1:26:21
  SPEAKER_04: Apple straight.
• 1:26:22
  SPEAKER_04: Apple Kit Kats.
• 1:26:24
SPEAKER_03: Is it like a red apple type or is it a green apple type?
• 1:26:26
  SPEAKER_04: Red.
• 1:26:27
SPEAKER_04: Red, it says really another, it was a profile I could not figure out in my head.
• 1:26:32
  SPEAKER_04: Got them, love them.
• 1:26:33
SPEAKER_01: Like I've I can only have them when I go to Japan, but you know, oh they have in the States, they've got an apple pie kit cat.
• 1:26:40
SPEAKER_04: Oh no, no, no, no, no.
• 1:26:41
  SPEAKER_04: Don't trust that.
• 1:26:42
SPEAKER_04: That's probably got spices in it and everything.
• 1:26:43
SPEAKER_04: You want this actually tastes like a fresh apple and a Kit Kat, which is so strange because you don't think about chocolate and fresh fruit.
• 1:26:50
SPEAKER_04: Every time I see pie in a flavor with a fruit against it and it's in the States, I'm like, okay, you just put nutmeg and cinnamon in it.
• 1:26:56
  SPEAKER_04: That's all you did.
• 1:26:58
  SPEAKER_03: That's probably true.
• 1:27:00
SPEAKER_03: I guess chocolate covered apples are a thing, aren't they?
• 1:27:03
  SPEAKER_04: Are they?
• 1:27:03
SPEAKER_04: I guess candy apples, right?
• 1:27:05
  SPEAKER_04: Is that a thing?
• 1:27:05
  unknown: Yeah.
• 1:27:06
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, candy apples, but is there so?
• 1:27:09
SPEAKER_01: They're wholly improved in a chocolate fondue pot.
• 1:27:12
SPEAKER_01: I think it's a great idea in theory, but like biting into something that with a larger bite radius than your teeth are capable of biting into.
• 1:27:21
SPEAKER_01: It's just all you're doing is just scraping your gums against a hard candy-coated surface.
• 1:27:28
SPEAKER_04: And uh I was thinking recently about those gigantic um jawbreakers that I think were all about the same age range, like in the the 30 to 45 area.
• 1:27:40
SPEAKER_04: Um the gigantic jaw breakers that were like this big that people would get and just lick and keep in a Ziploc bag.
• 1:27:47
SPEAKER_04: Why didn't we do that?
• 1:27:48
SPEAKER_04: What was the what were we training people to do?
• 1:27:50
  SPEAKER_01: Do they still exist?
• 1:27:52
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 1:27:53
  SPEAKER_01: You can get them.
• 1:27:54
SPEAKER_01: They're they're usually at like specialty stores.
• 1:27:56
SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know if you guys know what a rocket fizz is, but they just have a bunch of novelty items there.
• 1:28:02
SPEAKER_03: Uh now you have to get them from specialty stores.
• 1:28:04
SPEAKER_03: We could just get them from the corner store and stuff.
• 1:28:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they were convenience stores.
• 1:28:07
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:28:08
SPEAKER_04: And I never understood the draw of them, but so many kids would just have them.
• 1:28:12
SPEAKER_01: I think the now you know they've been classified as a hazard, whereas back in the day they did not care if something was a hazard, they would just give it to us.
• 1:28:21
SPEAKER_04: You guys can't even have kinder eggs.
• 1:28:23
  SPEAKER_04: Hazard is off.
• 1:28:25
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:28:25
SPEAKER_04: You know, the funny thing about the kinder eggs is they used to be wood.
• 1:28:28
SPEAKER_04: Like you used to get sometimes you get little wood toys in there, and the first thing I would do was light that thing on fire.
• 1:28:33
SPEAKER_04: So the fact that you guys got it labeled as a hazard and we got to keep them, even though I kept lighting them on fire.
• 1:28:40
  SPEAKER_04: Don't know why.
• 1:28:41
SPEAKER_04: I was smart enough to not light the plastic on fire.
• 1:28:43
  SPEAKER_04: Maybe that's the difference.
• 1:28:45
SPEAKER_01: Now, let me just say, real quick, the reason that these were banned.
• 1:28:48
SPEAKER_01: In the States was because there were inedible parts inside, like that wooden piece.
• 1:28:55
SPEAKER_01: So it needs to like we also used to have a thing called the Wonder Ball, which was very similar.
• 1:29:01
SPEAKER_01: It was just a ball of basically cheap Easter chocolate with uh some candies in there, but also there would be stickers sometimes.
• 1:29:10
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:29:10
SPEAKER_01: So now I think they still sell those, but they just sell them now with uh only only candy in them.
• 1:29:17
SPEAKER_04: Now it makes me wonder because every time there's a law, it's because somebody did something real dumb.
• 1:29:24
SPEAKER_04: Uh what child tried to like raw dog this egg down their gullet.
• 1:29:29
SPEAKER_04: And we're just like, oh no, there's a plastic Charmander in me now somewhere.
• 1:29:33
  SPEAKER_01: It was me.
• 1:29:34
  SPEAKER_01: It was me.
• 1:29:36
  SPEAKER_04: I just don't understand.
• 1:29:37
SPEAKER_04: Like, it's it's the it's the parenting thing there too, because I'm like, my dad, when I was really young, he'd always crack open that egg for me and then hand me the toy because the toy is separate from the food, and then you get the chocolate.
• 1:29:48
  SPEAKER_04: I remember that.
• 1:29:49
SPEAKER_04: And then once I was old enough to be trusted with not swallowing an entire egg, which is probably six, you know, and it was fine.
• 1:29:57
SPEAKER_04: But I know we have to be careful if we ever try to take them across the border, um, which again we haven't done in a long time, but they do not allow those, they get real mad about it.
• 1:30:06
  SPEAKER_01: Really?
• 1:30:07
SPEAKER_01: They're checking you for wonder balls?
• 1:30:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they also check us for an entire smuggling ring for kinds.
• 1:30:13
  SPEAKER_03: That's they're not that good.
• 1:30:14
SPEAKER_04: They're not, but you can't hand them, which makes them very good.
• 1:30:18
  SPEAKER_01: It's just it's it's all what we can't have.
• 1:30:22
  SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
• 1:30:23
SPEAKER_01: The grass is more unregulated on the other side.
• 1:30:26
SPEAKER_04: I remember crossing the border once, and this guy with us had a like a foot-long subway sub, and the guy at the at the um the border was grilling him about it, just like what's on this sub?
• 1:30:38
  SPEAKER_04: He's like, Oh, it's this and it's this.
• 1:30:40
SPEAKER_04: He's like, You can't bring meat across the border.
• 1:30:41
SPEAKER_04: He's like, Well, what do you want me to do?
• 1:30:42
SPEAKER_04: He's like, eat the meat out of the sub.
• 1:30:44
  SPEAKER_04: And he did.
• 1:30:45
SPEAKER_04: He sat there and ate all the meat out of his sub, put it back together, and across.
• 1:30:48
SPEAKER_04: I thought that was very specific.
• 1:30:50
  SPEAKER_04: It's a sandwich.
• 1:30:51
SPEAKER_04: Just let the man eat the sandwich.
• 1:30:53
SPEAKER_01: I think we should be replacing everything with inedible parts.
• 1:30:58
SPEAKER_01: I think we should be doing that in sandwiches.
• 1:31:00
SPEAKER_01: I think we should be doing that in ice cream and just not announce it, right?
• 1:31:04
SPEAKER_04: Like it's just uh an IQ test.
• 1:31:07
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:31:08
  SPEAKER_01: IQ test.
• 1:31:09
SPEAKER_01: Also, maybe to slow people down a little bit, you know.
• 1:31:11
SPEAKER_01: If you know that there's gonna be a Lego in your ice cream scope, like you're not gonna eat as fast.
• 1:31:17
SPEAKER_04: Oh man, finally, like Ben and Jerry's Lego licorice or something like that, and you get like a free Lego set, but you have to dig it out like an archaeologist.
• 1:31:26
  SPEAKER_04: I'm into it.
• 1:31:27
  SPEAKER_04: Hook me up.
• 1:31:29
SPEAKER_03: I yeah, I'm not no lie, I I would be into that.
• 1:31:32
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:31:33
SPEAKER_01: At my peak, I was eating like two pints of Ben and Jerry's a night.
• 1:31:36
SPEAKER_01: So I would be I'd be building all sorts of stuff with that.
• 1:31:40
  SPEAKER_01: You kidding me?
• 1:31:42
SPEAKER_01: Seven or eight Lego pieces in each pint.
• 1:31:45
SPEAKER_04: Did you not did you not get constipated?
• 1:31:47
SPEAKER_01: I don't think I pooped for probably about three months back in 2017.
• 1:31:52
SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, I was getting zero fiber.
• 1:31:55
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah.
• 1:31:55
  SPEAKER_04: I saw your your McDonald's numbers.
• 1:31:58
SPEAKER_04: Um, that's one of the things I looked at when I was looking you guys up, was the 5,000 calories for the yeah, yeah.
• 1:32:05
SPEAKER_01: Oh, but speaking of you looking us up, how can people look you up?
• 1:32:09
SPEAKER_01: Because it's I I think we're now at the point where this is the this may be the longest episode we've ever done.
• 1:32:15
  SPEAKER_01: Oh quite, not quite.
• 1:32:17
SPEAKER_01: Oh, should I talk about it?
• 1:32:19
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, that's fine.
• 1:32:20
SPEAKER_04: I don't have to be the longest.
• 1:32:21
SPEAKER_04: I've got the best nose.
• 1:32:22
  SPEAKER_04: It's fine.
• 1:32:23
SPEAKER_04: Um, so I'm just yes.
• 1:32:26
SPEAKER_04: And it actually stretches in VR.
• 1:32:28
SPEAKER_04: You can run away with it and it can go through various rooms.
• 1:32:31
  SPEAKER_04: It's terrifying.
• 1:32:32
SPEAKER_04: Um, so I am Snoot on Twitch.
• 1:32:34
SPEAKER_04: Just just I go to Twitch and you type in Snoot and it's me, S-N-O-O-T.
• 1:32:39
SPEAKER_04: Um, I stream when I feel like it, and I stream what I feel like, so I have no schedule and I have no expectation of what I am streaming like.
• 1:32:45
SPEAKER_04: Uh I've been playing a dressmaker game, which is totally not what I'd normally play, but also Marrowin', Cyberpunk, Rimworld.
• 1:32:52
  SPEAKER_04: Offline.
• 1:32:53
SPEAKER_04: I'm playing a lot of war dogs.
• 1:32:54
SPEAKER_04: Do you guys war dogs at all?
• 1:32:56
  SPEAKER_01: Nope.
• 1:32:57
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, just checking.
• 1:32:58
  SPEAKER_04: Are you guys gamers?
• 1:33:00
  SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
• 1:33:01
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, just checking.
• 1:33:02
  unknown: All right.
• 1:33:03
  SPEAKER_04: But yeah.
• 1:33:04
SPEAKER_04: Um, I also do art redeems every hour, which can be anything you can think of.
• 1:33:08
SPEAKER_04: Uh so yeah, that gets weird real fast.
• 1:33:13
SPEAKER_01: Are you on Instagram or anything?
• 1:33:15
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 1:33:15
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 1:33:16
SPEAKER_04: No, I am social media free.
• 1:33:18
  SPEAKER_04: I think I have a YouTube.
• 1:33:19
SPEAKER_04: It's where my VODs go.
• 1:33:20
SPEAKER_04: Um, I just uh yeah, I don't know how people find you.
• 1:33:24
  SPEAKER_04: I do have a YouTube.
• 1:33:25
SPEAKER_03: It might exist, who knows?
• 1:33:27
SPEAKER_04: It's it's the YouTube snoot underscore TV, but there's nothing of value going up over there, so I wouldn't worry about it.
• 1:33:32
SPEAKER_04: Um I just like hanging out on Twitch and talking to people.
• 1:33:34
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Twitch.
• 1:33:35
  SPEAKER_01: Twitch.tv slash snoot.
• 1:33:37
  SPEAKER_04: Snoot.
• 1:33:38
SPEAKER_04: Yep, I am the Snoot.
• 1:33:40
SPEAKER_03: I'm meeting most of my people off Twitch now because it's like it's been a nice place to just sit and talk to people.
• 1:33:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's great, especially since the recommended algorithm now seems to work properly.
• 1:33:50
SPEAKER_04: It's actually giving me things I'm enjoying, which hasn't happened previously, and bringing in a lot of people that I've not met before that have been just wonderful and they've actually enjoyed my stupid crap.
• 1:33:58
SPEAKER_04: So um, and also, hey, it brought you in.
• 1:34:00
  SPEAKER_04: I don't like I don't know how I how I got recommended to you.
• 1:34:03
  SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't know.
• 1:34:04
SPEAKER_04: We must have times that overlap somewhere or something.
• 1:34:09
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:34:09
SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure it was probably you rated into Dunk and Dunk was like, follow, follow Snoot.
• 1:34:16
SPEAKER_03: And I did, and then I went and judged you out, and we were playing P games.
• 1:34:20
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, oh, yes, okay.
• 1:34:22
  SPEAKER_04: Right.
• 1:34:22
SPEAKER_04: I always feel bad when they get rated in and I'm playing the P game because the first thing I try and do is stop and say, All right, I look like this.
• 1:34:29
  SPEAKER_04: I'm a purple cartoon character.
• 1:34:30
  SPEAKER_04: This is 18 plus.
• 1:34:31
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna talk about perimenopause, colonoscopies, taxes, and also this is a game about piss, and there is piss all over the place.
• 1:34:38
SPEAKER_04: So just be aware of that.
• 1:34:41
SPEAKER_04: Like, we don't mess around with that.
• 1:34:43
SPEAKER_04: If anybody even says their age and it's it's under 18, they're out, they're instantly banned.
• 1:34:47
SPEAKER_04: Like, I no, I'm not gonna do that.
• 1:34:50
  SPEAKER_04: But uh no, it's it's it's fun.
• 1:34:52
  SPEAKER_04: I've really enjoyed streaming.
• 1:34:53
SPEAKER_04: I went through a period of time where it was it felt more like work, which is as soon as it feels like that, I stop.
• 1:34:59
SPEAKER_04: Um, I don't know how I ever got partnered because I just do whatever the hell I feel like.
• 1:35:06
SPEAKER_04: But I think people actually respect that.
• 1:35:07
SPEAKER_04: They're like, you're never giving an air of I have to be here and I hate it or I'm not having a good time.
• 1:35:13
  SPEAKER_04: Because if I don't, I'm like that is a huge thing.
• 1:35:15
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:35:17
SPEAKER_04: I um I have lots of lots of things to say about streaming, and I have lots of opinions about it, and seems to work for me at least at this point, but I'm still a small streamer, so comparatively.
• 1:35:28
SPEAKER_04: But I have a great time, and my community is great, and we make great things together.
• 1:35:31
SPEAKER_04: And more importantly, is we raise awareness about important things like uh Harry Menopause and we raise money for charities like Doctors Without Borders, uh, and uh the BC Cancer Agency and things like that.
• 1:35:43
SPEAKER_04: So it's it's a really good group of people that also constantly makes dick jokes and urine jokes and fart jokes.
• 1:35:51
SPEAKER_01: Those are the right kind of people, people that like charity and dick jokes.
• 1:35:54
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, people who are adults when they know when to be.
• 1:35:57
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:35:58
  SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
• 1:35:59
SPEAKER_01: I might be a little bit of a furry.
• 1:36:01
  SPEAKER_04: Oh god.
• 1:36:01
SPEAKER_04: Well, I'm not, so that's gonna be a big problem.
• 1:36:04
SPEAKER_01: Well, you don't have to be, you're already the animal, so it doesn't matter.
• 1:36:07
  SPEAKER_04: I don't even have a tail yet.
• 1:36:09
SPEAKER_04: My tail's not even rendered yet.
• 1:36:10
SPEAKER_04: It's it's you know, I'm a weird oh you didn't see my butt, did you?
• 1:36:16
  SPEAKER_04: Hold on.
• 1:36:17
  SPEAKER_04: Where's my butt?
• 1:36:18
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there it is.
• 1:36:19
SPEAKER_04: Oh no, it's clipping again.
• 1:36:20
SPEAKER_01: There's that little hole that pops in.
• 1:36:22
SPEAKER_01: There is a split in the pants, and there's a skin tone, but you don't have I don't know why the skin tone is there.
• 1:36:30
SPEAKER_04: I think that's just the lighting color.
• 1:36:32
SPEAKER_04: Man, that would be a lot more useful for a kaldoscopy.
• 1:36:34
SPEAKER_04: Hey, it's just like I just open up in the middle, just wait for one of my uh polygons to clip out.
• 1:36:39
  SPEAKER_04: It's fine.
• 1:36:40
SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to see what Spotify does to try to categorize all of this.
• 1:36:45
  SPEAKER_04: I'm real excited.
• 1:36:45
SPEAKER_04: I want to see it.
• 1:36:46
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:36:47
SPEAKER_01: Well, it'll be around uh what tomorrow, I guess.
• 1:36:51
  SPEAKER_04: Ooh, okay.
• 1:36:52
  SPEAKER_04: I'll tell my community.
• 1:36:54
  SPEAKER_01: Hello, Thursday.
• 1:36:55
SPEAKER_03: I'm doing math eight hours.
• 1:36:58
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay, okay.
• 1:36:59
  SPEAKER_03: Because I don't like to sleep.
• 1:37:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I was gonna say, like, you're on the east coast, right, Rob?
• 1:37:05
  SPEAKER_03: No, I'm in Berta.
• 1:37:07
SPEAKER_04: Oh, right, you're Alberta guy.
• 1:37:09
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, then you're you're fine.
• 1:37:10
  SPEAKER_04: You're fine.
• 1:37:10
SPEAKER_01: But I am on the East Coast, and I'm over here in Central.
• 1:37:14
SPEAKER_01: We operate on the standard time here.
• 1:37:16
  SPEAKER_04: I see.
• 1:37:16
SPEAKER_04: All right, so you've got to go to bed house.
• 1:37:18
SPEAKER_03: How weird is it gonna be when November 1st hits?
• 1:37:20
SPEAKER_04: Uh for the daylight savings?
• 1:37:22
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:37:23
SPEAKER_04: That we don't use anymore.
• 1:37:25
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:37:26
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't know.
• 1:37:27
SPEAKER_04: I work with a lot of people in Washington and California, and I'm like, this is gonna be a little messed up for a while.
• 1:37:33
SPEAKER_04: But on the plus side, I have a very good reason to miss a lot of meetings, which I am looking forward to.
• 1:37:39
SPEAKER_03: What's gonna happen, Mike, is I'm going to be on the same time as you.
• 1:37:43
  SPEAKER_03: Why?
• 1:37:44
SPEAKER_03: Because we got rid of the time change.
• 1:37:46
  SPEAKER_04: You guys did too?
• 1:37:47
  SPEAKER_04: I didn't know that.
• 1:37:48
  SPEAKER_04: I didn't know Alberta did.
• 1:37:50
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, wow, okay.
• 1:37:51
  SPEAKER_03: Alberta did.
• 1:37:52
SPEAKER_03: Um Manitoba passed the legislature for it.
• 1:37:56
  SPEAKER_03: I don't think they've implemented it yet.
• 1:37:59
SPEAKER_03: Uh Ontario's also passed the legislature for it.
• 1:38:02
SPEAKER_03: They are waiting on Quebec to figure out what they're doing.
• 1:38:05
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:38:05
SPEAKER_04: Well, Quebec will try to be unique, I would imagine, but we'll see.
• 1:38:09
SPEAKER_03: Um Northwest Territories said they're going to stay on whatever time Alberta's on.
• 1:38:15
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:38:16
SPEAKER_03: So yeah, Canada's just kind of getting rid of it.
• 1:38:18
SPEAKER_03: Although we picked the wrong one.
• 1:38:19
  SPEAKER_03: There's it's standard time for a reason.
• 1:38:22
SPEAKER_01: Every couple of years, the states vote on this, like the uh the federal legislation, they pass it, and then nothing ever comes of it.
• 1:38:31
SPEAKER_04: So um yeah, I know you guys have talked about it a lot.
• 1:38:34
SPEAKER_04: Um I'm wondering if us having doing this would change anything going forward.
• 1:38:39
SPEAKER_03: But probably it's yeah, well, as long as then yeah, it's for us it was provincial level and for them it's federal level.
• 1:38:47
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, I see.
• 1:38:49
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:38:49
SPEAKER_04: It's also I wonder how much your leadership uh matters in that kind of choice because it's like if you're changing it at this point, it's gonna be to continue to be able to work with us easily, right?
• 1:39:01
  SPEAKER_01: I'm implementing a countrywide time.
• 1:39:04
SPEAKER_01: It starts at 12 o'clock standard Trump time.
• 1:39:08
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, sorry, Trump time.
• 1:39:10
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, God.
• 1:39:11
  SPEAKER_04: Disgusting.
• 1:39:12
  SPEAKER_04: I uh yeah.
• 1:39:14
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know, man.
• 1:39:15
SPEAKER_04: Everybody's on the same time.
• 1:39:17
  SPEAKER_04: That would be excellent.
• 1:39:18
  SPEAKER_01: We get sunrise at 2 p.m.
• 1:39:20
SPEAKER_01: in California because we don't like California.
• 1:39:23
  SPEAKER_04: Poor California.
• 1:39:23
  SPEAKER_04: I like California.
• 1:39:24
SPEAKER_04: I really miss being able to go down there.
• 1:39:26
SPEAKER_04: You guys, you guys need to headlines.
• 1:39:29
SPEAKER_04: It's the only way I'm gonna say that.
• 1:39:31
SPEAKER_04: You guys need to make some headlines happen.
• 1:39:33
  SPEAKER_04: One way or another.
• 1:39:34
SPEAKER_04: I want to see that headline.
• 1:39:36
SPEAKER_01: Wait every day for a headline.
• 1:39:38
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, because it's terrifying.
• 1:39:41
SPEAKER_04: I uh this the the Canadian, the Canadian fight going on here is like our premier now, our prime minister.
• 1:39:48
SPEAKER_04: He's I don't know much about him, but he's doing pretty good.
• 1:39:51
  SPEAKER_04: He's actually fighting back.
• 1:39:52
  SPEAKER_04: It's like it's just ridiculous.
• 1:39:54
SPEAKER_04: It's such it's everything is so childish right now.
• 1:39:56
  SPEAKER_04: And anyway, politics.
• 1:39:58
  SPEAKER_04: Um, yeah.
• 1:40:00
SPEAKER_04: I will not cross your border until uh that thing is gone.
• 1:40:06
SPEAKER_01: Trust me, I get it.
• 1:40:08
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I figured you might.
• 1:40:10
  SPEAKER_04: I figured you might.
• 1:40:11
  SPEAKER_04: It's upsetting too.
• 1:40:12
SPEAKER_04: There's so many lovely people that I want to go visit.
• 1:40:14
SPEAKER_04: There's like 49% of your country is like lovely.
• 1:40:17
SPEAKER_01: We're turning off the sun, we're gonna shut it off.
• 1:40:20
  SPEAKER_01: It's all over now.
• 1:40:21
SPEAKER_01: We don't need daylight save.
• 1:40:23
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna save all the daylight.
• 1:40:24
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna keep it in a little bag.
• 1:40:27
SPEAKER_04: Sell it to the children.
• 1:40:28
SPEAKER_01: He's really good at that, isn't he?
• 1:40:29
  SPEAKER_01: Sell it to people.
• 1:40:30
  SPEAKER_04: It's kind of upsetting.
• 1:40:31
  SPEAKER_04: It's very upsetting.
• 1:40:33
SPEAKER_01: Because I have to hear it every god.
• 1:40:34
  SPEAKER_04: I know.
• 1:40:35
SPEAKER_04: You can't get away from it.
• 1:40:36
  SPEAKER_04: I uh I oh god.
• 1:40:38
SPEAKER_04: Have you heard of uh have you heard of Maple Mega?
• 1:40:41
SPEAKER_01: I semantically I can kind of piece it together.
• 1:40:44
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:40:45
SPEAKER_01: Tom McDonald, I think, would would belong to that.
• 1:40:48
SPEAKER_04: And I'm guessing Rob sees a lot more of that than I do.
• 1:40:51
SPEAKER_04: Um, there is that out here as well.
• 1:40:53
  SPEAKER_01: Do I?
• 1:40:53
SPEAKER_01: He's been dealing with that the last couple of days, probably.
• 1:40:57
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:40:57
SPEAKER_04: However, I mean the nice part is that the uh because of the price of gas, the so-called freedom convoys can't go anywhere because they can't afford to, unless they all buy electric cars to convoy in, which they might be having a moral issue with that right now.
• 1:41:13
SPEAKER_01: I never thought the mooses would eat my face.
• 1:41:15
SPEAKER_04: Oh, they're ready, and they would.
• 1:41:19
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I get to go to a lovely referendum soon where we vote on separation.
• 1:41:25
SPEAKER_04: Oh god, I can't believe that's even coming up.
• 1:41:27
SPEAKER_04: Didn't Quebec try that at one point?
• 1:41:29
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 1:41:30
SPEAKER_04: You don't think it's gonna pass, do you?
• 1:41:31
  SPEAKER_03: Like Oh no.
• 1:41:32
SPEAKER_03: No, like the the separatists are just a vocal minority.
• 1:41:36
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's what I felt.
• 1:41:37
SPEAKER_04: How is there an entire referendum for that?
• 1:41:39
SPEAKER_03: And they they they're claiming they they want to be independent and stuff, but they've already agreed to give the US um oil and water and trees and all this stuff um for the US's support, which the which a lot of the separatists ads, if I don't know if you're seeing any of them, not many, but are funded by the US.
• 1:42:08
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, so basically there's a plant.
• 1:42:11
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:42:12
SPEAKER_04: Well, everybody can be bought, it seems.
• 1:42:15
  SPEAKER_04: State of the world.
• 1:42:17
  SPEAKER_04: Hooray for vasectomies.
• 1:42:19
  SPEAKER_03: Hooray for vasectomies.
• 1:42:20
SPEAKER_03: I live I live in the most conservative riding in the entirety of Canada.
• 1:42:26
  SPEAKER_04: I'm so sorry.
• 1:42:27
SPEAKER_03: And the thing in Alberta right now is if you support separation, you put uh an Alberta flag on your front line.
• 1:42:35
SPEAKER_03: If you don't, you put a Canada flag.
• 1:42:37
SPEAKER_03: I'm seeing more Canada flags than Alberta flags.
• 1:42:40
  SPEAKER_04: I would imagine.
• 1:42:40
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:42:41
SPEAKER_03: I mean so even in the most conservative riding in Canada, there's still uh more people not wanting to separate.
• 1:42:51
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I would hope so.
• 1:42:52
SPEAKER_04: Because I mean, what is separation gonna look for them?
• 1:42:55
  SPEAKER_04: Like like what benefit?
• 1:42:56
SPEAKER_04: Are they hoping to be absorbed by the US and become another state?
• 1:43:00
SPEAKER_04: And why would you want that?
• 1:43:01
  SPEAKER_03: I think so.
• 1:43:02
  SPEAKER_04: Lord, let them go.
• 1:43:03
SPEAKER_04: Like let's just do an exchange for an exchange program.
• 1:43:06
SPEAKER_03: Three quarters of Alberta is treaty land, so it won't even they won't even get that.
• 1:43:13
SPEAKER_03: It's just like from like um somewhere south of Calgary down.
• 1:43:20
  SPEAKER_03: That's all they'll get.
• 1:43:21
SPEAKER_04: Oh, well, it's not gonna pass anyway, so but then again, the last time I was that sure about a political outcome was when I was sure that Hillary was gonna be fine.
• 1:43:31
SPEAKER_04: So let's not think anything I say is probable.
• 1:43:36
SPEAKER_03: Let's get out and vote.
• 1:43:38
SPEAKER_04: Let's get out and vote.
• 1:43:39
  SPEAKER_04: Yep.
• 1:43:40
SPEAKER_01: Actually, I would prefer if he didn't get out and vote.
• 1:43:42
SPEAKER_01: I think he should probably stay home.
• 1:43:44
SPEAKER_04: Well, you guys have November 4th, don't you?
• 1:43:46
SPEAKER_04: Is that the is this the big one?
• 1:43:48
  SPEAKER_04: What year is it?
• 1:43:49
  SPEAKER_04: It's 2026.
• 1:43:50
SPEAKER_01: Depending on who you ask, January 6th.
• 1:43:53
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
• 1:43:54
SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, uh yeah, we've got another one coming up here shortly.
• 1:43:59
SPEAKER_01: So um please stay home.
• 1:44:02
  SPEAKER_01: Don't do anything.
• 1:44:03
SPEAKER_04: We'll just fake it anyway.
• 1:44:05
SPEAKER_03: Is it Trump like bribing people to go out?
• 1:44:07
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, yeah.
• 1:44:09
SPEAKER_01: So he said, you know, after the the doge checks and the tariff checks and uh all that, we're also gonna get five thousand dollar checks if the Republicans win.
• 1:44:20
  SPEAKER_01: So uh yeah.
• 1:44:21
SPEAKER_04: But you never got those doge checks.
• 1:44:23
SPEAKER_04: You never got the No, we didn't.
• 1:44:25
SPEAKER_01: We didn't get anything that he probably well actually he did say that if we voted Democrat, we would get higher uh grocery prices, higher gas prices, and all that happened.
• 1:44:34
SPEAKER_04: So And you got that anyway, yeah.
• 1:44:37
  SPEAKER_01: We got that anyway.
• 1:44:38
SPEAKER_01: So we voted that way and we got the higher prices.
• 1:44:41
SPEAKER_01: So I wow no told the truth about something accidentally.
• 1:44:46
  SPEAKER_04: My goodness.
• 1:44:47
SPEAKER_01: Republicans, do you know that like I know you hate pay everyone hates paying taxes?
• 1:44:52
SPEAKER_01: You deserve to get things for the taxes that you pay, right?
• 1:44:57
SPEAKER_01: Like you're already paying into the system, you should receive something for that.
• 1:45:01
SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, it's just going into billionaires' pockets.
• 1:45:04
  SPEAKER_01: That's it.
• 1:45:05
SPEAKER_01: It's you are losing that money and you're getting nothing for it in return, which if you went to a store and they said, okay, your total's gonna be uh 6430, and you paid them that money, and then they just didn't give you the thing you paid for, you'd be pretty damn pissed.
• 1:45:20
  SPEAKER_01: Uh that's what's happening right now.
• 1:45:23
SPEAKER_01: You I don't understand why it is that the only thing you hate more than paying taxes is getting anything for the taxes you're already paying.
• 1:45:30
SPEAKER_01: Um, but you should be getting that money back, and we shouldn't have a net worth average of tens of millions of dollars in the Senate and Congress.
• 1:45:42
  SPEAKER_01: That is unacceptable.
• 1:45:43
SPEAKER_01: And this is on all this is not me saying the Democrats have it perfect because holy shit.
• 1:45:48
  SPEAKER_04: No, nobody's perfect, also.
• 1:45:49
  SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah.
• 1:45:50
SPEAKER_01: It's it is they're just goddamn awful.
• 1:45:53
SPEAKER_01: Uh, there should not be rich people running the country when the country is not rich people.
• 1:45:59
SPEAKER_01: No, that's not representation, that is exploitation.
• 1:46:02
SPEAKER_04: I just I I weep for you guys and the like I keep seeing the stories about people dying because they can't get their insulin or you know, they um cancer and they can't do treatment anymore.
• 1:46:14
SPEAKER_01: Like only country where that happens, by the way.
• 1:46:16
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yep.
• 1:46:17
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know, man.
• 1:46:18
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 1:46:18
SPEAKER_04: Something's gotta change because this whole idiocracy being a documentary is just not what I was expecting from life.
• 1:46:25
  SPEAKER_03: I still haven't watched that.
• 1:46:26
SPEAKER_03: I need to watch that.
• 1:46:27
SPEAKER_04: Uh it's gonna hurt, um, but you should watch.
• 1:46:30
  SPEAKER_04: It's a good film.
• 1:46:31
  SPEAKER_01: Here's the problem, though.
• 1:46:33
SPEAKER_01: President Camacho is a much better president than Trump because at one point he listens.
• 1:46:38
SPEAKER_01: At one point he pays attention.
• 1:46:40
SPEAKER_01: When the guy's like, you gotta stop watering the crops with Gatorade.
• 1:46:44
SPEAKER_01: He listens and then they grow crops.
• 1:46:48
SPEAKER_01: That would not happen here.
• 1:46:50
SPEAKER_04: He also has amazing fashion sense.
• 1:46:52
SPEAKER_01: So that's so President Camacho has redeeming qualities.
• 1:46:57
  SPEAKER_04: Yes.
• 1:46:58
SPEAKER_04: Does it idiocracy is a three seashells, right?
• 1:47:00
SPEAKER_04: Or is that uh total recall?
• 1:47:03
SPEAKER_04: Or is it the other one?
• 1:47:05
SPEAKER_04: Which is the three seashells.
• 1:47:06
SPEAKER_04: I spend a lot of time laying in bed at night thinking about how that would work.
• 1:47:10
  SPEAKER_04: The three seashells.
• 1:47:12
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know anymore.
• 1:47:13
SPEAKER_03: Don't ask me movie trivia.
• 1:47:15
  SPEAKER_03: I ain't seen anything.
• 1:47:16
SPEAKER_04: I uh I've only recently started seeing a bunch of movies.
• 1:47:19
SPEAKER_04: I uh I've got a bud who's super into horror movies and he watches a hundred every October.
• 1:47:24
SPEAKER_04: So he comes over here and holy crap.
• 1:47:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, do the math on that a year.
• 1:47:30
SPEAKER_04: Guy who works Graveyard Shift.
• 1:47:32
SPEAKER_04: So he does three a day, usually while doing other things, and he rates all of them and the whole situation.
• 1:47:37
SPEAKER_04: So I watched The Ring for the very first time yesterday and I loved it.
• 1:47:40
  SPEAKER_04: That was great.
• 1:47:41
SPEAKER_04: But I've been very bad at movies historically, like Indiana Jones, Star Wars.
• 1:47:45
SPEAKER_04: I saw those like 20 years after.
• 1:47:47
  SPEAKER_01: I watch one movie.
• 1:47:48
SPEAKER_04: I watch this movie on repeat.
• 1:47:50
  SPEAKER_04: It comforts me.
• 1:47:51
SPEAKER_01: It's a big theme of our show here.
• 1:47:53
SPEAKER_01: The in moderation podcast, the number one rated DeLorean podcast within the health and fitness space.
• 1:48:01
SPEAKER_04: Give me a DeLorean fact.
• 1:48:02
  SPEAKER_01: We're proud of that.
• 1:48:04
  SPEAKER_01: Fun DeLorean fact.
• 1:48:06
  SPEAKER_01: Let's talk about it.
• 1:48:07
SPEAKER_01: Well, the DeLorean, this is a true fact that the DeLorean is the coolest car that was ever built.
• 1:48:12
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, that's fine.
• 1:48:13
  SPEAKER_04: That's a rock fact.
• 1:48:13
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:48:14
SPEAKER_01: They uh so in the movie.
• 1:48:15
SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, you said rock fact.
• 1:48:17
SPEAKER_04: You do know some media.
• 1:48:18
SPEAKER_03: I do know some media, and I am I uh instantly was like, yes, rock fact.
• 1:48:22
  SPEAKER_04: Rock fact.
• 1:48:23
  SPEAKER_03: Rock fact.
• 1:48:24
SPEAKER_04: Is that is that model true to size?
• 1:48:25
  SPEAKER_04: Can you tell me?
• 1:48:26
SPEAKER_01: Oh, this one here, no.
• 1:48:27
SPEAKER_01: I mean, this is um I mean this is just uh I've got a bunch of these little ones.
• 1:48:32
SPEAKER_01: I've got a lot of DeLoreans over there on my shelf.
• 1:48:35
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
• 1:48:36
SPEAKER_01: I do have a one-six scale model coming in here shortly, hopefully.
• 1:48:40
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:48:40
SPEAKER_04: Well, I want to show you guys stuff on my shelf, but I'm a VTuber.
• 1:48:43
SPEAKER_04: Maybe I'll remain until we stop recording.
• 1:48:45
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we're we're almost in two hours.
• 1:48:47
SPEAKER_03: Not being a VTuber is being able to put consoles over on the shelf.
• 1:48:53
SPEAKER_03: I forgot which way I was pointing.
• 1:48:55
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:48:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's like I love looking at stuff on people's shelves because it tells me a lot of what they want to tell me about them.
• 1:49:02
SPEAKER_01: You don't have social media, so I don't even know how to send you pictures of what I got.
• 1:49:05
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Discord.
• 1:49:07
  SPEAKER_01: Snoot underscore snoot.
• 1:49:08
SPEAKER_04: Just don't say something like, hey, how are you?
• 1:49:11
SPEAKER_04: with the R and the U question mark.
• 1:49:13
SPEAKER_04: And if you're if your uh Discord avatar is like an anime girl, I will instantly block and ban you.
• 1:49:19
SPEAKER_04: Because oh my god, there's so many of them.
• 1:49:22
  SPEAKER_04: Do you like art?
• 1:49:23
  SPEAKER_04: Yes, goodbye.
• 1:49:24
  SPEAKER_04: Yep, yep.
• 1:49:26
SPEAKER_04: Ah, great time to be on the internet.
• 1:49:28
SPEAKER_03: So I'm trying to get I'm trying to bring up the longest episode because I know we recorded for I believe one hour and 57 minutes.
• 1:49:41
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:49:41
  SPEAKER_03: That I believe that's the pre-production time.
• 1:49:44
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:49:45
SPEAKER_03: So I believe this is now the longest episode we've recorded.
• 1:49:51
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:49:51
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know if it'll be you know, post-production.
• 1:49:54
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:49:55
  SPEAKER_04: Little bits.
• 1:49:55
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know how you work.
• 1:49:56
SPEAKER_04: I was it's funny because I had said to my community, like, oh, well, I'm going to record a podcast with the in-moderation people.
• 1:50:02
SPEAKER_04: Um, so I'll probably stream after that.
• 1:50:04
SPEAKER_04: So what do podcasts take?
• 1:50:05
  SPEAKER_04: Like an hour?
• 1:50:06
SPEAKER_04: And they're like, okay, well, I don't know anything about podcasts.
• 1:50:09
SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna go talk until I don't want to talk anymore.
• 1:50:11
SPEAKER_04: But you guys are lovely, so I'm still here.
• 1:50:14
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, we're lovely.
• 1:50:15
  SPEAKER_04: You are lovely.
• 1:50:16
  SPEAKER_01: It's been a lot of fun.
• 1:50:17
SPEAKER_01: This is we uh I I have enjoyed getting to know you here and uh likewise getting to know educated too.
• 1:50:24
SPEAKER_04: I uh I had no idea that testosterone was such a huge danger and it was affecting so many people because of the idiots online that don't tell people properly about what they might be getting into before they get into it.
• 1:50:36
SPEAKER_04: Like the people who chisel their jaws with hammers.
• 1:50:39
SPEAKER_04: There's all that too, yeah.
• 1:50:41
SPEAKER_04: Please don't do that, children.
• 1:50:42
SPEAKER_04: Or adults or adult children either.
• 1:50:44
SPEAKER_04: Just do not, don't just don't do it, yeah.
• 1:50:47
  SPEAKER_04: Don't do it.
• 1:50:48
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it doesn't work.
• 1:50:49
SPEAKER_04: That's that's not gonna differ face shape, become a VTuber.
• 1:50:53
SPEAKER_04: It's really easy to change after, usually.
• 1:50:56
  SPEAKER_01: Become a VTuber.
• 1:50:57
  SPEAKER_01: Be kind to yourself.
• 1:50:58
  SPEAKER_01: Don't be your worst.
• 1:50:59
SPEAKER_04: Somewhat somewhat uh financially good too.
• 1:51:02
SPEAKER_04: You know, people think it's cute and they put get money at you sometimes.
• 1:51:06
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 1:51:06
SPEAKER_04: There's something about getting getting random income because I play video games and talk to people who come and watch the video games.
• 1:51:15
SPEAKER_01: Rob, can you make me a VTuber?
• 1:51:17
  SPEAKER_04: You'd be a banana.
• 1:51:18
  SPEAKER_01: No, I ain't no artist.
• 1:51:20
  SPEAKER_04: You can okay.
• 1:51:21
SPEAKER_04: So here's the other thing is if you want to be an anime boy, and looking at you, I can tell you want to be an anime boy, Mike.
• 1:51:27
SPEAKER_04: Um, you can get VRoid VRoid Studio is free.

• 1:51:40
SPEAKER_03: Well, Mike has no idea what you just said.
• 1:51:42
SPEAKER_04: I can I can give a step by step.
• 1:51:44
SPEAKER_01: My my VTube dreams just died.
• 1:51:47
  SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
• 1:51:48
  SPEAKER_04: VRoid Hub.
• 1:51:49
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, I don't know.
• 1:51:50
SPEAKER_04: I've got a download file and Vroid is free on Steam.
• 1:51:54
SPEAKER_01: VRoid sounds like a slur.
• 1:51:57
  SPEAKER_04: It does.
• 1:51:58
  SPEAKER_04: It does.
• 1:51:58
SPEAKER_04: But we also have like clankor, right?
• 1:52:00
SPEAKER_04: So it's probably all gonna become some form of slur at some point.
• 1:52:05
SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, you just download the file and then put it into VC face.
• 1:52:09
SPEAKER_04: And also, if you're legitimately looking at this, I will type it in.
• 1:52:12
  SPEAKER_04: Vroid free on Steam.
• 1:52:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm on the website now.
• 1:52:15
  SPEAKER_04: VC face free.
• 1:52:17
SPEAKER_01: Next episode of the Inmoderation Podcast, I will not be here.
• 1:52:21
SPEAKER_01: There's gonna be another coon.
• 1:52:24
  SPEAKER_01: Another me on here.
• 1:52:25
SPEAKER_01: I don't know what animal I'm gonna be, but you can't be an animal.
• 1:52:29
  SPEAKER_01: I can't be an animal.
• 1:52:30
SPEAKER_04: You can't be an anime.
• 1:52:31
  SPEAKER_04: No, not through V-Roid.
• 1:52:33
SPEAKER_03: No, you gotta cute anime stud.
• 1:52:37
  SPEAKER_04: Etc.
• 1:52:38
  SPEAKER_04: Anime stud.
• 1:52:39
  SPEAKER_04: Yes.
• 1:52:40
  SPEAKER_04: Come on, Mike Cocoon.

SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna look into this.
• 1:52:43
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna come back to something next week.
• 1:52:45
SPEAKER_04: When I first when I was trying to see if I could tolerate and stomach being a VTuber, I had a V-Roid model, which was just like a red-haired anime girl that looked as little anime as I could do.
• 1:52:56
SPEAKER_04: Um it was pretty good.
• 1:52:57
  SPEAKER_04: It worked well.
• 1:52:58
  SPEAKER_04: Got the points across.
• 1:52:59
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put myself on this this VTuber thing, and then I'm gonna clone my voice, and then I'm just gonna start slowly disappearing.
• 1:53:10
SPEAKER_04: Just train an AI with your voice to say train yourself as the best podcast ever, saying the best things that a podcaster would say about things.
• 1:53:19
SPEAKER_01: I I don't think an AI could capture my essence.
• 1:53:23
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:53:24
SPEAKER_01: I think I I am too off cuff for it to uh properly track me.
• 1:53:30
  SPEAKER_01: And I think I will learn.
• 1:53:32
SPEAKER_04: I think it could learn.
• 1:53:33
SPEAKER_04: And I say this as someone who hates AI from a creative perspective, like music, art, uh, writing, voice acting, get the hell out.
• 1:53:43
SPEAKER_04: But I also say this as someone who's a consultant who has to implement AI um and train it.
• 1:53:49
SPEAKER_04: And I think it could probably get your off-the-cuff remarks eventually.
• 1:53:53
SPEAKER_04: It would probably take thousands of hours of content from.
• 1:53:58
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 1:53:58
SPEAKER_01: Well, luckily, there's not a giant repository of my voice hosted anywhere on one place that could be scraped, yeah.
• 1:54:05
SPEAKER_01: From which they could train it hundreds of hours of me just yapping incoherently.
• 1:54:12
SPEAKER_01: Uh luckily, such a uh database does not exist.
• 1:54:16
SPEAKER_03: So I'm just gonna train an AI for a mic AI and a Liam AI, and then I never have to worry about them showing up.
• 1:54:23
SPEAKER_04: No, because then you can also say in there that they think that Bob is the best person they've ever met and respect him greatly and would never say anything to wrong him.
• 1:54:31
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but it's the best person to ever host a podcast.
• 1:54:35
SPEAKER_04: That was very Microsoft Sam of you.
• 1:54:37
SPEAKER_04: I'm kind of proud of it.
• 1:54:37
SPEAKER_00: He is way too good at this stuff.
• 1:54:39
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that was really good.
• 1:54:40
  SPEAKER_00: There's a handsome man.
• 1:54:42
  unknown: Oh my god.
• 1:54:45
SPEAKER_04: You know, I have uh I have Microsoft Works in the box behind me.
• 1:54:49
SPEAKER_00: So there are my children.
• 1:54:51
SPEAKER_04: No, I I uh AI is a whole other topic that I could talk about for hours because it's since I've trained it, I work with it, I know we're it pisses me off.
• 1:55:01
  SPEAKER_04: This I can't start.
• 1:55:02
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:55:03
  SPEAKER_03: Perfect.
• 1:55:04
SPEAKER_03: So we now have a plan.
• 1:55:05
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna get all these various goodies that we've never tasted before.
• 1:55:10
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna get an episode going where we try that and talk about AI.
• 1:55:14
SPEAKER_04: Actually, that's a great idea because you can also talk about how AI affects people's body uh vision of their own bodies because they're now seeing things AI generated and perfected uh that they don't know how to get a hold of.
• 1:55:26
SPEAKER_04: And also, okay, a kid just died because it took uh it, sorry, the kid took directions to a place from AI, followed them and just died.
• 1:55:37
SPEAKER_01: So like where did it bring the kid?
• 1:55:41
SPEAKER_04: It took them to uh it was how to navigate a particular it was in BC somewhere.
• 1:55:45
SPEAKER_04: Um I'll see if I can bring it up again, but it was into like a specific mountain in BC.
• 1:55:49
SPEAKER_04: It might have been in behind like the chief in Squamish or something.
• 1:55:52
SPEAKER_04: I just saw that today, but I know that it's also been like it will back up kids wanting to kill themselves, which is crazy.
• 1:56:00
SPEAKER_01: Like it if AI brought me in the wrong direction out of here, I'd just end up on the freeway.
• 1:56:05
  SPEAKER_01: Like how where I don't know.
• 1:56:08
SPEAKER_04: Well, it's more like you know, asking for a um a trail map if they can't find an official trail map.
• 1:56:14
SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah, maybe don't have AI generate a trail map for you because trails change with weather and people.
• 1:56:21
SPEAKER_04: So AI doesn't know that.
• 1:56:23
SPEAKER_04: That's those are the two things AI cannot tell you anything about.
• 1:56:26
SPEAKER_04: Uh, but again, like we yeah, we can make an entire script around that.
• 1:56:30
SPEAKER_04: I would love to join you again.
• 1:56:31
SPEAKER_03: So well then we'll have to do that.
• 1:56:34
SPEAKER_03: We'll definitely get these uh yeah, I'm gonna find that craft dinner for for Mike.
• 1:56:41
SPEAKER_04: And I'm gonna look for it tomorrow, I think.
• 1:56:43
  SPEAKER_03: So perfect.
• 1:56:44
SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna I'm gonna go ahead and say this is officially the longest episode.
• 1:56:49
SPEAKER_03: I did finally did it.
• 1:56:50
SPEAKER_03: I did finally find it.
• 1:56:51
SPEAKER_03: It the previous longest was episode 81 with Chem Thug at one hour 47 minutes 45 seconds.
• 1:56:59
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, we beat that.
• 1:57:00
SPEAKER_03: And even with editing, uh, it usually only takes off like 10-15 minutes.
• 1:57:04
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
• 1:57:05
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so it's a pretty raw cut that goes out.
• 1:57:07
  SPEAKER_04: All right.
• 1:57:08
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, very raw.
• 1:57:10
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 1:57:10
SPEAKER_04: And if you want to throw a link at me once it's out somewhere, I'll my folks will probably want to watch it too.
• 1:57:15
  SPEAKER_04: My folks, I don't own them.
• 1:57:16
  SPEAKER_04: Mostly.
• 1:57:17
  SPEAKER_03: Mostly.
• 1:57:18
  SPEAKER_04: Mostly.
• 1:57:19
SPEAKER_04: I think that when they sub to me, part of that is giving me their soul.
• 1:57:22
  SPEAKER_04: So I don't know.
• 1:57:23
  SPEAKER_03: That's fair.
• 1:57:23
SPEAKER_04: I haven't read the full Twitch contract.
• 1:57:25
  SPEAKER_04: I don't think anybody has.
• 1:57:26
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 1:57:26
  SPEAKER_04: No, no.
