A sign of the coming of the Messiah or the Anointed One or Redeemer is that He heals infirmities and feeds the hungry. Hence, crowds followed Him. We should find ourselves among those crowds, even though we are separated from the facts of the gospel by 20 or 21 centuries. What jars at our being is a lie. What troubles us is our fleeing the truth.
