- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here now. Have you ever lost something
- 0:44valuable? And I'm not just talking.
- 0:46About something that's kind of valuable but not that important,
- 0:51like a set of keys or something like that.
- 0:53I'm talking about something that is worth either a lot
- 0:56financially or emotionally, that if you never find it, it's going
- 1:01to hit hard. So in this session, you're going
- 1:05to be listening to regression that I did for a client that had
- 1:10lost 1/4 of £1,000,000. That's about $300,000 worth of
- 1:17jewelry. And in their mind, they put it
- 1:20in a safe. But several months after they
- 1:22thought they put it in a safe and checked, it wasn't there.
- 1:26And they wanted to use hypnotic regression to go back to the day
- 1:30when they took the jewelry off to see if it brought up any
- 1:35clues, any additional insights, anything where they might have
- 1:39thought about it in a different way, like they were going to
- 1:42hide it in a place that wasn't the safe and then they would
- 1:45know where that jewelry is. Now, lots of this is very
- 1:49specific. The session itself is completely
- 1:52confidential. You would never know the client
- 1:54that I'm working with. But some of the details are only
- 1:57going to be relevant to the client and not to you because
- 2:01you might not have a study and a room with a safe in it and let's
- 2:07say workers that came to your property to chat to you around
- 2:12that same time. So some of the details aren't
- 2:14going to be relevant, but at its core, the premise is, is to go
- 2:19back to the time that you lost something or misplaced something
- 2:23to see if it triggers something within you.
- 2:26Now, if that's useful, you might get some value from this
- 2:29particular hypnosis session. If, however, what you've lost is
- 2:33important and you feel that somewhere in your mind you're
- 2:38going to trigger something that could give you really useful
- 2:41information to find it. For example, a lot of people
- 2:45have had temporary periods where they've forgotten a PIN number
- 2:49and then they'll go to an ATM or pay for something on their card
- 2:53and they've already put the correct number in the on the
- 2:57keypad, even though they forgot that number before because their
- 3:01unconscious knew what that thing is.
- 3:04So that's where this stuff can work, that it's there.
- 3:08Lots of people have had the experience, for example, of
- 3:11forgetting a word. They may even say, oh, I forgot
- 3:14what it was, but I know it. It's on the tip of my tongue.
- 3:17But they can't recall it. And that might be a word or a
- 3:19name or a place. And then 15 minutes later, it
- 3:23just comes to them. It's like their unconscious has
- 3:26been working behind the scenes to figure out what that thing
- 3:30is, and then it just arrives. That's what we're talking about
- 3:34here. We're not talking about
- 3:36imagining a solution. We're talking about priming the
- 3:40parts of your brain that knows how to recall something that
- 3:44absolutely exists within there. And in some cases, it can also
- 3:49help to reconcile, to know that you've covered all the bases,
- 3:53that if you never find it, well, at least you know that you've
- 3:56tried. And one of the things that I've
- 3:59done a few times in my life is unexpectedly found things that
- 4:05I've completely forgotten about. A few months ago I was
- 4:08decorating and there was an old filing cabinet.
- 4:11And as I'm going through, there was lots of money in a
- 4:14particular currency. I'd completely forgotten about
- 4:17it. And sometimes these nice
- 4:19surprises can happen. And that's another way of
- 4:24thinking about it where it takes all the pressure and the
- 4:26disappointment or the guilt or the shame away that even if it
- 4:31doesn't come up straight away, you can have this idea that at
- 4:35some point in the future you're going to stumble across it and
- 4:37it will all make sense. What you're doing there is
- 4:40you're creating a positive open loop and a positive suggestion.
- 4:43And and if that helps you notice something or.
- 4:46Trigger something that. You just have an idea to check
- 4:49something and then you find that thing that you've lost.
- 4:52We still get the positive outcome of finding the thing
- 4:54that you've lost. So I would encourage you to get
- 4:58the best out of this session is to think of something specific
- 5:02that you had had and you don't have it anymore.
- 5:06And you have a feeling that if you went back to the time when
- 5:09you changed it or lost it, then it might trigger something
- 5:14within you. And if you do want a bespoke
- 5:16session working with me, there will be a link in the
- 5:19description, but also on my website, adamcox.co.uk.
- 5:23And you could schedule a free consultation call, We'll have a
- 5:26chat. And it might be that having a
- 5:28bespoke session is really, really useful because what you
- 5:32don't hear on the session is the our conversation before the
- 5:35session where I was going through all the details.
- 5:37And even that helps prime certain neural pathways to
- 5:42increase the probability of an epiphany where everything
- 5:46suddenly makes sense. And everyone's had that.
- 5:48They've lost some keys and then they're scrambling around and
- 5:52the more stressed they are trying to find them, the harder
- 5:53it is to find it. And then they're like.
- 5:55Oh. Of course, it's in that coat
- 5:57pocket and that thought was there all along, but sometimes
- 6:00you've got to take the emotional intensity down so that the brain
- 6:05feels comfortable just suggesting where that location
- 6:08is. So if you feel like that kind of
- 6:10thing would be useful, check out my website, adamcox.co.uk.
- 6:13For now though, you might get some value from this session,
- 6:15even though it's clearly for someone else.
- 6:17So I'd like you to find a quiet, comfortable place, the kind of
- 6:21place where you're not going to be interrupted and just relax
- 6:24and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 6:47you breathe in, breathe in that feeling of calm relaxation, and
- 6:54as you exhale, fearless sense of release.
- 6:57That's right, on the next inward breath, breathe in deeper than
- 7:02you normally would, and as you exhale, allow your eyelids to
- 7:09close, and as they close, connect to your current rhythm
- 7:17of breathing. Maybe you notice your chest
- 7:23expand, your shoulders raise as you exhale, just notice a sense
- 7:29of release. Consider every outward breath
- 7:36like a release valve. Allow how yourself to release
- 7:42anything particularly emotional echoes, any frustrations, any
- 7:51resentment, any feelings that have been bubbling away under
- 7:58the surface. And notice where in your body
- 8:04tension lives. Quite often it's around the
- 8:08temple, the jaw, the neck or the shoulders.
- 8:14And here, in this place, in this time, you're giving yourself
- 8:19permission to let go. So as you breathe in, breathe in
- 8:26a deep feeling of resourceful relaxation.
- 8:32And as you exhale those subtle feelings of tension, stress,
- 8:40rigidity, just allow yourself to let those feelings go.
- 8:49That's it. And hold an image in your mind
- 8:55of an ice cube melting in the sunshine.
- 9:01And as you see that ice cube start to melt, imagine what it
- 9:06would feel like. The tension around your body to
- 9:13feel like that's melting away too.
- 9:18That's it. Maybe you've already noticed
- 9:22your breathing is now slower and longer, but what's interesting
- 9:30is the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you feel.
- 9:37And the more relaxed you feel the deeper you breathe.
- 9:45Each breath can take you incrementally deeper than the
- 9:49last. Not because relaxation is
- 9:53necessary, it's just helpful. Because when your body is
- 10:01relaxed, your imagination naturally can become more vivid,
- 10:11detailed. And what if in that imagination,
- 10:19sometimes memories get clearer, things that were forgotten get
- 10:27recalled. That's it.
- 10:32Breathe in and breathe out and connect to that place.
- 10:39Feel that your body is supported.
- 10:46Become aware of the looseness of your arms or your legs, and
- 10:54again, any tension, just allow it to be released.
- 11:00That's it. And notice the muscles around
- 11:11your eyes, your eyelids, your eyebrows, around the eyes and on
- 11:17the outward breath. Release any tension.
- 11:23Become aware of those muscles in your forehead, the ones
- 11:28responsible for facial expressions like surprise or
- 11:33concern. On your next outward breath,
- 11:38release any tension connected to those tiny muscles in the
- 11:46forehead, and maybe you notice your jaw loosening all the way
- 11:55from your ear to your chin. You'll even notice things that
- 12:01are normally there in the background where your tongue is
- 12:06and your mouth, the rate of your breathing and if it's through
- 12:12your nose or is it forced from the chest or more and more
- 12:19relaxed there deep down in the belly in that diaphragm.
- 12:25Allow your neck to loosen, your shoulders to drop as you start
- 12:32to imagine your arms getting heavier and even tiny muscles in
- 12:38your finger or the fingers start to relax.
- 12:40I said breathing slow and steady.
- 12:47It's tiny muscles in your chest and you can relax them.
- 12:50Now, some people have a place where they hold on to tension.
- 12:59Sometimes it's a habit, sometimes it's there in the
- 13:05abdomen, the legs. Somewhere in your body is tense.
- 13:11That doesn't need to be. So on that outward breath,
- 13:16release it. Still feeling that your back is
- 13:20supported, the eyes relaxing, knees soft and loose.
- 13:29Feel a ripple of relaxation all the way down into your ankles
- 13:34and then your toes. And in the same way that you
- 13:39held that image of that melting ice cube, I want you to imagine
- 13:45a wooden puppet with no strings and just imagine what their arms
- 13:53and legs would be like. Floppy and loose, completely
- 14:00relaxed, just falling wherever gravity would take them.
- 14:07And then imagine a wave of calm moving from the top of your
- 14:10head, flowing down through your body all the way to your feet.
- 14:20And each breath double s the relaxation.
- 14:22And I want you to imagine a calm, neutral room inside your
- 14:30mind. Maybe that room reminds you of a
- 14:36room you spend a lot of time, or maybe it's something from you.
- 14:51Perhaps you could imagine a private study space that doesn't
- 14:57have to be reality, but imagine a comfortable chair and a screen
- 15:03on the wall. And for this imaginary room,
- 15:07imagine a remote control in your hand.
- 15:13This space is safe, detached, neutral.
- 15:20Here you are not reliving, you are simply observing where
- 15:29memories appear like archived footage, and you've seen TV
- 15:35shows where the camera just follows them around, and
- 15:42everyone in that TV show pretends that the camera doesn't
- 15:46exist. Which means that your mind is
- 15:50capable of viewing your life like a documentary ATV show,
- 15:57with that invisible TV camera following you around, recording
- 16:03every moment in a moment. I will countdown from 12:50.
- 16:12Each descending number activates more of the part of your mind
- 16:19capable of going back to a time in your past, like a detective,
- 16:28an observer 10 drifting inward 9 Detached and observant 8 calm
- 16:42curiosity seven Feel the neutrality within.
- 16:50No highs, no lows. 6 steady, 5 safe.
- 16:58Or will your mind becoming crystal clear?
- 17:04Three with a relaxed focus, 2 deeper still now and one access
- 17:15a place of feeling deeply calm, curious and receptive.
- 17:24Imagine pressing a button on that remote control and screen
- 17:29turns on. It's just your imagination.
- 17:34This screen can look like a small television or your own
- 17:38private cinema. Your unconscious mind will
- 17:42decide. But perhaps the bigger the
- 17:45screen is, the more opportunity there is to notice things that
- 17:52haven't been noticed before. And on the screen, just imagine
- 17:59it's the morning, the morning in November, you know the one.
- 18:09And I want you to imagine, see yourself waking that day.
- 18:14You're not waking up in your own body.
- 18:16You're just observing that version of you.
- 18:20And then imagine, perhaps see what you do.
- 18:30Maybe it's a place where you you have breakfast or to look for
- 18:37clues as to what happened that morning.
- 18:45I want you to notice who else is around.
- 18:52Again, you're not in your body, you're just seeing it on that
- 18:54screen. Notice the light in the room,
- 19:02the temperature. I want you to get a sense of how
- 19:09you seem, your mannerisms, your emotional state, and just allow
- 19:18the images to come without effort.
- 19:20And perhaps you can see even then in the morning the wearing
- 19:36jewelry and I want you to notice the pendant around your neck, a
- 19:50bangle type of bracelet on one wrist and maybe.
- 20:01A different type of bracelet on the other.
- 20:05Notice the ring on one of your fingers and another ring on a
- 20:12different one. Perhaps something you designed.
- 20:20I want you to observe that morning, see it unfolding.
- 20:31But pause at a moment where you know with 100% certainty you
- 20:38were wearing the jury at that time.
- 20:44And maybe it's because you were responding to a message.
- 20:52Maybe it was a phone call, or maybe it was a meeting in a
- 20:57nearby town, but pause it. Then observe carefully which
- 21:07pieces are visible. Some might be obscured by
- 21:11clothing, but you can see what's visible and what isn't.
- 21:15Notice the colour, the position. No need to guess or create, just
- 21:23whatever you see on that screen, whatever appears.
- 21:30I want you to imagine observing a chain of events, inviting
- 21:37friends to come over, a meeting where you really feel diligent.
- 21:46Maybe you're someone is there with you, keeping you company.
- 21:58Imagine someone else is invited over to the house.
- 22:02I don't want you to get a sense of travelling back from that
- 22:10town, back to the house. And maybe it was late morning,
- 22:18some time between 10:30 and maybe 11:30, and perhaps you
- 22:29were in A room, maybe a study, maybe somewhere else.
- 22:36But I want you to observe a conversation, a short
- 22:41conversation, no more than 10 minutes.
- 22:47I want you to observe that conversation unfolding.
- 22:54Were you facing forward and then occasionally looking over your
- 23:00shoulder? What did you move your chair
- 23:06face to face? Were they standing?
- 23:07Were they sitting? What was the emotional
- 23:13intensity, the tonality of that conversation?
- 23:18Whatever comes up is fine and any gaps are fine too.
- 23:27Maybe there was a topic about a house or property.
- 23:33Just observe. Observe the mannerisms, the
- 23:40facial expressions, until something is said that perhaps
- 23:51felt like a very question of your integrity.
- 23:54I want you to see a clue of an emotion, maybe a micro
- 24:07expression. Was it hurt?
- 24:14Was it a feeling of defiance? Was it anger or annoyance or
- 24:23something else? Just observe your emotional
- 24:31reaction and then perhaps see the conversation ends.
- 24:40They leave the room and observe as you're left with your own
- 24:45thoughts, perhaps stewing or brooding, just left with your
- 24:53own thoughts. And just imagine seeing what
- 25:02followed. Maybe it was a a message sent on
- 25:08WhatsApp, and maybe it was just 5 minutes or so after that
- 25:15conversation ended. But see.
- 25:18How you were writing that? Was it slow and composed or
- 25:23frantic, rapid. And just imagine, as many TV
- 25:32shows do, that they zoom in on the message being written.
- 25:38Words like integrity, what I will do, what I won't do, where
- 25:46I will put things, what you deserve to have, where a key
- 25:55will be. And then I want you to go
- 26:03forwards in time, still observing, and see that version
- 26:10of you deliberately removing the jury.
- 26:23Imagine with that remote control you can make it slow motion.
- 26:28Where are you? You standing?
- 26:31Sitting. Maybe there's a desk nearby?
- 26:37Paperwork envelope? A safe watch?
- 26:45Your hand movements in slow motion.
- 26:49What was the sequence? What was removed first?
- 26:52What was your facial expression when you noticed that the shape
- 27:00of a ring had changed? Maybe a pendant was swelled up,
- 27:09and maybe it wasn't. Maybe it was poured on something
- 27:16that looked like paper, an envelope, or the wood of the
- 27:19desk. Zoom out, see the wider room,
- 27:29observe clues like proximity. Blankness is fine, but just move
- 27:43forward and maybe, maybe someone that has been a source of help
- 27:50and assistance was around not too long afterwards.
- 27:57Observe the interaction. Maybe it was discussing
- 28:03something maybe, maybe it was describing something that needed
- 28:16to be done. And then observe perhaps.
- 28:22How are you interacted with a bank?
- 28:32Observe who was in the room, how long they were in the room and
- 28:35when they left. I just imagine pausing or
- 28:44zooming in around that time that that person that you trust
- 28:51dearly has been so helpful for many years.
- 28:58You notice where the jury was then.
- 29:02Was it visible or not? I want you to get a sense that
- 29:10lots was going on, things to order my brother to respond to.
- 29:20I want you to get a sense of all of these things would make it
- 29:26very easy for you to intend to do something.
- 29:31We just pause it saying that you would do it later, moving
- 29:41forward to early afternoon, and maybe people start to arrive,
- 29:47friends, people you've known for years.
- 29:54And at the point where perhaps you leave that room, maybe to go
- 29:59to the kitchen or somewhere else, maybe a an environment
- 30:05where events and interactions are often held.
- 30:13But at the very point where you're leaving the room, do you
- 30:15notice anything about the jury? Was it put somewhere?
- 30:23Was it obscured? Was it moved?
- 30:30Allow any thoughts to come up. Any ideas?
- 30:42Anything intuitive that comes up doesn't mean it's true or false,
- 30:48just clues. Just lines of inquiry.
- 30:56And then rewind it. Go back to the point where
- 30:58you're taking the jury off and then imagine coming into the
- 31:06screen and then into your own body.
- 31:08In fact, rewind back to that message that was sent.
- 31:20A feeling that your integrity was questioned, promise made of
- 31:28what you would do and maybe even connect to a feeling of what it
- 31:33represented. Sovereignty, autonomy, maybe the
- 31:44shedding of something symbolic. If you don't trust me about
- 31:52this, I'll show that you're in the wrong because I don't care
- 31:58about this, and then move forward to the point where
- 32:05you're removing the jewelry in your body.
- 32:10Now feel the texture of a ring, the weight of a bangle,
- 32:33Think of the sequence and think of where things were put.
- 32:43Think of any thoughts that may have come up in that time.
- 32:49Relive the moment as if you were doing it anew.
- 32:54Rewind it, and before you take the jewelry off, imagine what
- 32:59you would do if you were in that situation again.
- 33:05Maybe you'd make a picture in your mind of a safe, an
- 33:10intention to put it somewhere. You're in your body feeling what
- 33:17you would feel if you were in that situation again.
- 33:22And if you knew you were leaving that room and you couldn't put
- 33:25it in the safe, what would you do if you were back in that
- 33:29situation again? Would you put it somewhere
- 33:31temporarily? Move it so it isn't exposed
- 33:39there on a desk and an envelope? You don't have to remember what
- 33:44happened. Just ask yourself, what would
- 33:48you do if you were in exactly the same situation again?
- 33:56I needed to do the same thing. Would you intend to do it now so
- 34:04it's done, or do it later? To do several things at the same
- 34:10time, we need to get a sense. Then we are priming parts of
- 34:23neural pathways, like creating open loops.
- 34:30And don't be surprised if in the next few hours, or perhaps even
- 34:35days, additional thoughts come to you that you'd forgotten new
- 34:43distinctions, new possibilities. Your unconscious mind now knows
- 34:52it has a quest. The quest isn't to find the
- 34:57jury, it's to help you find clues, insights and new
- 35:05perspectives. I want you to imagine going
- 35:14forwards in time, perhaps spending time in India and
- 35:23thinking about that day from that calm, relaxed place of
- 35:32time, distance and perspective. Sometimes when we get away from
- 35:39a familiar environment, we can record things in ways that get
- 35:47lost if we overthink it too much.
- 35:52Just like a pin number that you can forget if you try and think
- 35:59of the number, but when your fingers start pressing numbers
- 36:05your body already knows. And what if there's a part
- 36:10within you that already knows what happened?
- 36:15Give permission for that part to feel safe, to allow to be
- 36:25revealed in a thought, in an idea, even in a dream.
- 36:36It's time to leave that reliving of the moment.
- 36:40Go back through the screen, knowing that you can return to
- 36:44it to look for other clues or details later.
- 36:49But for now, For now, we've opened some loops for your mind
- 37:00to embark on a quest. The quest is not to find
- 37:11anything other than useful information.
- 37:17And as you hold that thought, it's time to leave.
- 37:25Leave a moment of emotional symbolism.
- 37:30Because if it was symbolic, perhaps there's an extra level
- 37:38to that symbol. it's a catalyst to feel emotions
- 37:59that are difficult to feel in any other context, To just allow
- 38:05yourself to consider new possibilities without blame,
- 38:12judgement, or accusation. Pure distilled curiosity.
- 38:23Imagine leaving that private room with that screen and
- 38:27floating all the way back to your present.
- 38:34Very soon I will count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 38:36But take a deep breath in through your nose and out
- 38:45through your nose. Start to recalibrate with the
- 38:47here and the now. Let's sit and wiggle your
- 38:51fingers. Wiggle your toes as I now count
- 38:55from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you. 123 That's it.
- 39:02Starting to wake. 456 More alert. 7-8 Open your eyes.
- 39:08Open your eyes. 910 Wide awake, Wide awake, wide awake.
