- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone, I hope you've had a beautiful week.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: In today's episode, we're going to be talking about the symptom karmic lesson of boundaries.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: More specifically, when we should set them, why we set them, and how boundaries are really a guideline based on your traumas and how your ego and brain have dealt with them.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: First, we need to understand that if we have a problem creating boundaries, it's most likely that our core karmic lesson is self-worth.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: This is because we feel that if we do not give everything of ourselves and allow people to do what they want with our energy, time, emotions, etc., that they will see how intrinsically unworthy we are.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: On the flip side, those who are ridiculously staunch in their boundaries and like to set them over everything also may have a core karmic lesson of self-worth, and boundaries are a protective measure.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Each ego has a different reason for having a symptom karmic lesson of boundaries, whether your core karmic lesson is self-worth, self-love, or non-attachment, whether it's not being able to set boundaries, pushing others as boundaries, or holding on to your boundaries too firmly.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: It's just about what camp your ego is in and what your relationship to boundaries are.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Don't ever let another ego tell you that you need to have more or less boundaries.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Boundaries and whether you choose to set them are based on the traumas that you have and how your brain has processed them.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: For example, if you have had any sexual trauma in the past, you may go the way of setting hard boundaries against any person who your ego feels even slightly uncomfortable around.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: You may go the route of not setting any boundaries, feeling that you're doing something wrong, even when another gets too familiar.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: You may not set any boundaries based on your culture or religion, thinking that you're less than because you've been told that your gender isn't equal.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: You may set a ton of boundaries because your culture or religion has told you that your gender is supposed to be hard and proud, and you need those boundaries to protect your past traumas.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: You may try to set boundaries but release them when you're gaslighted by another ego.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: You may try to set boundaries but release them when you feel guilt about setting them.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: With the same sexual trauma in the past, there are a plethora of ways that boundaries are or aren't set.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Now why are boundaries a symptom karmic lesson?
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Because they are created by the ego or not created by the ego after either two things happen.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: You think about them long and hard, or they have become a reaction without thinking.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Either way, we are dealing with expectations.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Boundaries are, in actuality, responses to expectations.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Your ego expects to be triggered.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Your ego expects to be let down.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Your ego expects to have to justify itself.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Your ego expects that the other ego is going to act in a way that you don't want them to.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Your ego expects to be put in an uncomfortable situation.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: All of these expectations are what makes boundaries a societally acceptable thing, but also a lesson for the ego.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: This isn't to say that boundaries are bad or wrong or something that you shouldn't set.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: It's just to exemplify that your ego creates boundaries because it expects to be triggered again, and the ego doesn't want to deal with being triggered.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: If you have an ego that has a hard time creating boundaries, it's because your ego expects the other ego to see your unworthiness.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: It expects the other ego to abandon you because they don't like your boundaries.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: It expects the other ego to argue with you or guilt trip you or make you feel less than because you are setting a boundary for yourself.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Still expectations, just in a different manner.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: However, you choose to set boundaries or not set boundaries, make a conscious decision for yourself, not for the other ego, as to why you're setting them.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Sometimes a boundary is just fodder for needing to cut the other ego out of your life instead.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Sometimes a boundary is rather pointing towards needing to express honesty to the other ego.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Sometimes a boundary is re-evaluating your own value system and working through that instead of cutting all dialogue off.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Don't ever judge yourself regarding whether you have a hard time creating boundaries or not.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Don't ever let another tell you that you need to create boundaries simply because they would do so with their own expectations.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: There are lessons within the concept of boundaries for your ego, and you just have to figure out what they are.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Look at how you feel and what is going on in your 3D reality when you feel like you need to set boundaries.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: If they're all kind of the same situation, then it's easier to see the threat of lesson.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: If they're all the same feeling, then you can see the core karmic lesson most likely.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Check in with yourself always, because you are the only one who matters.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: And though boundaries can aid in blocking certain things that your ego doesn't like in another, it can also deaden your ego to the real lessons it's refusing to learn.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: Until next week, all of my best and highest vibrations to you.
