- 3:44to sports. Robert Kraft, the owner of the New
- 3:48England Patriots. has agreed to help cover World
- 3:51Cup security costs, but Foxboro leaders remain
- 3:55unsatisfied. Any suggestion that Boston Soccer

- 4:03the town's concerns is false, Foxboro Select
- 4:06Board Chair Bill Yonah stated. World Cup organizers
- 4:11provided further details on how they plan to
- 4:13fund $7 .8 million in security for Gillette Stadium.
- 4:19A spokesperson for Gillette Stadium confirmed
- 4:22their commitment to meet the town's needs for
- 4:24security -related costs. Foxboro officials set

- 4:31public safety during the event. Praff Sports
- 4:34& Entertainment included a commitment letter
- 4:37to support Boston Soccer 2026's expenditures.
- 4:42In local sports, Jason Tatum is on the verge
- 4:45of returning to NBA action. tonight as the Celtics
- 4:49face the Dallas Mavericks at 7. Listed as questionable,
- 4:54this marks the first time this season he's not
- 4:56been sidelined due to the ruptured right Achilles
- 4:59tendon he suffered during last season's playoffs.
- 5:03Celtics president Brad Stevens mentioned Tatum
- 5:05wouldn't be cleared until he was ready both physically
- 5:08and mentally, and that time may have arrived.
- 5:12If he plays, Tatum will make his return after
- 5:14298 days, just beyond the typical recovery window.
- 5:20As the seas aim for playoff success, Tatum's
- 5:23presence could be pivotal. In top news, climate
- 5:28change's rising seas may threaten tens of millions
- 5:32more people than previously thought, according
- 5:35to a new study. Researchers found that about
- 5:3890 % of studies underestimated baseline coastal
- 5:42water heights by an average of one foot. This
- 5:46issue is more common in the global south and
- 5:48southeast Asia and less so in Europe. The study
- 5:52co -author, Philip Minderhout, attributes this
- 5:55to a methodological blind spot in measuring sea
- 5:59and land altitudes. Adjusting the baseline height
- 6:02means seas rising by just over three feet could
- 6:06threaten 77 million to 132 million more people.
- 6:12In business news, The U .S. stock market rebounded
