- 1:38Speaker 1: Do you mind having the the handheld mic biz this?
- 1:42Speaker 8: Yeah you don't. You don't mind, David you can lean
- 1:44Speaker 8: over and yeah, for sure.
- 1:45Speaker 1: And he just make sure guests knows to keep it
- 1:48Speaker 1: like this. He'll be good about that.
- 1:50Speaker 8: Yeah, I know.
- 1:51Speaker 1: He's a talented stick handler.
- 1:53Speaker 6: This is a lot of a lot of quick people
- 1:55Speaker 6: in the room, not my self included. Don't say that
- 1:57Speaker 6: this is yeah, I make you pretty quick with you
- 1:59Speaker 6: are not like these guys.
- 2:01Speaker 1: No, you are already thinking do you remember the last
- 2:06Speaker 1: time you came in? You and Sas got in like
- 2:08Speaker 1: a little like bickering match about unlike do you remember
- 2:12Speaker 1: that now?
- 2:13Speaker 4: I don't, but I've seen I feel like I've seen
- 2:15Speaker 4: a clip of it. I think I was just making
- 2:17Speaker 4: I think it was just being a dick.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah, getting back to him though about what I don't know.
- 2:23Speaker 5: I think weird like you flying here first, I got
- 2:26Speaker 5: this twenty three year old friend that convinces me that
- 2:29Speaker 5: I'm wrong when he's fucking wrong.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Sh kick us off? Yeah, yah, kick us off. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: thought we were going.
- 2:38Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, that'll be I mean we can
- 2:40Speaker 4: keep that in already. Welcome back to the Son of
- 2:43Speaker 4: a Boy Dad podcast Today. It is October twentieth noon.
- 2:49Speaker 4: We were here from New York, joined man, joined by the.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Settled down.
- 2:59Speaker 8: If you're driving, pull over.
- 3:01Speaker 1: You couldn't feel that energy, guys.
- 3:03Speaker 8: Yeah, it's understruck.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Intro, Here we go.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We had a good band going and then and then started.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Yeah you got to bring it to a screeching halt.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Are you always doing the intros? Hopefully not keep doing
- 3:18Speaker 6: the intros. He's great.
- 3:19Speaker 7: Yeah, intros aren't bad, but sometimes, you know, I get
- 3:22Speaker 7: a little nervous.
- 3:22Speaker 8: That I won't have enough energy.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Now now you can listen when someone has to get
- 3:32Speaker 1: like when they do too much, when someone does fake
- 3:35Speaker 1: come in like DJ, like this job, what's up?
- 3:40Speaker 6: Welcome to the stage.
- 3:41Speaker 8: Yeah, that's a little.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Do you guys do like a like a hot intro.
- 3:45Speaker 6: Well, we used to Hello everybody, which is coming back.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Oh I like that very soon obviously, But no, wit
- 3:54Speaker 6: just kind of kicks it off casually and then it
- 3:56Speaker 6: throws it right to a pink whitney.
- 3:57Speaker 7: Yeah, we go right into the pink whitney. At love that,
- 4:00Speaker 7: so like you know, you're just crushing it. Crushed that
- 4:02Speaker 7: and then the show begins. But I will say it
- 4:04Speaker 7: can be a little intimidating starting the thing off. Yeah,
- 4:07Speaker 7: I don't feel like you get that intimidated about anything.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Though, No, I do, for sure. I also definitely get
- 4:11Speaker 4: intimidated when it's when we have guests and I got
- 4:13Speaker 4: to do it. If I'm doing we're doing it solo,
- 4:15Speaker 4: I don't care. But when you got like when we
- 4:17Speaker 4: got we got three studs in here and they're telling
- 4:20Speaker 4: me I got to rip the intro.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Want to have you guys on? Yeah, yeah, he would
- 4:25Speaker 1: see that. Well, I showed up and I'm like hey,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and he was like, oh, what are you doing. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: was like, I didn't know that. He said, I don't
- 4:35Speaker 1: want to do that. Francis Man's yeah, but I don't
- 4:40Speaker 1: care about him.
- 4:40Speaker 8: Either, so it's worse. It's worse than he actively dislikes me.
- 4:45Speaker 7: We talked about this this morning coming on the show,
- 4:48Speaker 7: because we were kind of mentioning that your guys, you're
- 4:50Speaker 7: kind of blowing up, like I love seeing it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: It's getting bigger and bigger. I feel like it is.
- 4:54Speaker 6: I didn't need the blog to know that you guys
- 4:56Speaker 6: were blowing up that.
- 4:57Speaker 9: Really we don't to go down, did.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Yeah? Like the first class stuff. I was like, really
- 5:05Speaker 6: hoping like we didn't get mentioned because I want to
- 5:07Speaker 6: stay on the first class list, Like how that would
- 5:09Speaker 6: all boil over? And then uh yeah, and then that
- 5:11Speaker 6: obviously got aggressive very fast with your your blog and rightfully, so.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Hey, listen, I don't start fights. I just end them,
- 5:18Speaker 8: you know, straight up.
- 5:19Speaker 7: Yeah, you wouldn't have ever written that out of the cloud,
- 5:22Speaker 7: just attack.
- 5:23Speaker 8: I thought we liked each other.
- 5:24Speaker 4: He's got one of those written about everybody and.
- 5:30Speaker 6: What they said. We were talking about Kirk and how
- 5:34Speaker 6: I was like, even if I know I'm writing an
- 5:35Speaker 6: argument against Kirk, I'm going to say, oh, yeah, you're right. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 6: I want to avoid him. And the same goes with Francis.
- 5:42Speaker 6: You don't want to be on that guy. I would never.
- 5:45Speaker 8: Even if you guys attacked me, I would take our
- 5:49Speaker 8: relationship into consideration and my response would be more humorous.
- 5:54Speaker 8: Like I wrote about Will and Taylor a good amount,
- 5:58Speaker 8: and it was always like like I wrote a blog
- 6:00Speaker 8: revealing that Taylor doesn't dress himself. He hires a stylist
- 6:05Speaker 8: because he tells people that he dresses himself and he
- 6:08Speaker 8: dresses really well, and it was a huge lie.
- 6:12Speaker 7: You know, he doesn't well, you did call busy retarded gorilla,
- 6:16Speaker 7: but that was he called me a friendly retard.
- 6:21Speaker 6: That was.
- 6:24Speaker 8: I said, I've never been beaten up by a kind retail,
- 6:27Speaker 8: so I just called.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Which I got viewed as a as a compliment, said
- 6:33Speaker 6: your kind, Yeah exactly, that's all I heard.
- 6:35Speaker 1: That it was explosive and it put me in a
- 6:40Speaker 1: tough spot.
- 6:41Speaker 6: I thought of.
- 6:43Speaker 10: That.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But I think that they should just be able to
- 6:46Speaker 1: have it out, Like have you guys been in situations
- 6:48Speaker 1: where two of your teammates like weren't getting along and
- 6:51Speaker 1: how do you handle it? Like you just let him?
- 6:53Speaker 6: Yeah, we fight fight in practice, yeah yeah, and ys
- 6:58Speaker 6: almost fought our first in practice.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Yeah, business first practice. He came in hot obviously because
- 7:03Speaker 5: he's a kind.
- 7:06Speaker 6: The scenario.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You tell it, I don't really Well, you were trying
- 7:11Speaker 1: to like get a spot in the roster.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Yeah, so I got picked up off waivers from Pittsburgh,
- 7:15Speaker 6: so you're only guaranteed to be in the NHL for
- 7:17Speaker 6: one month. So it was like my first couple of practice.
- 7:20Speaker 6: I think it was like first or second, like Yan said,
- 7:22Speaker 6: and I was like battling in front and like he
- 7:24Speaker 6: kind of like gave me a slash after, like Buddy
- 7:26Speaker 6: stopped being a hardo and he's already on the team
- 7:28Speaker 6: making it. And then what I say. I said, I'll
- 7:30Speaker 6: fucking dumb you, and he goes, I'll fucking slash you
- 7:33Speaker 6: in the face.
- 7:33Speaker 8: And then.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I was like, if you like being here, don't drop
- 7:38Speaker 5: your gloves because I'm either breaking my stick over your
- 7:41Speaker 5: head you're.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Going to mine.
- 7:44Speaker 6: He makes a hell of a point, and then we
- 7:46Speaker 6: have best friend since Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Happened. Like logic just over rode the situation. You're like, oh, yeah, wow,
- 7:52Speaker 1: that is.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Wait, do I dummy him or go to the miners
- 7:57Speaker 7: figure it out? Like the guy in the movie with
- 7:59Speaker 7: the math everywhere.
- 8:01Speaker 6: When he said it was such conviction, I'm like, oh, fuck,
- 8:03Speaker 6: this guy controls my future. I want NH as kind
- 8:09Speaker 6: as possible to ye.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Another good one was Boyd Gordon who this guy was
- 8:12Speaker 5: like a shot blocking machine. For your fans who don't know,
- 8:15Speaker 5: guys who block shots, they're lunatics because there are goalies
- 8:18Speaker 5: with a ton of pads on, but guys who go
- 8:20Speaker 5: out and block them with not a lot of pads
- 8:21Speaker 5: on are crazy to me. And I blocked a shot
- 8:24Speaker 5: uh in Dallas and I wasn't known for a block
- 8:27Speaker 5: shot blocking. Took it in the knee, then didn't finish
- 8:30Speaker 5: the game with hurt and Boyd Gordon comes in after
- 8:32Speaker 5: and he's like, oh, here comes the warrior, starts like clapping.
- 8:35Speaker 5: I'm like, fuck you, boy like a piece of shit.
- 8:37Speaker 5: So we're yelling at each other butt naked in the shower,
- 8:40Speaker 5: just like screaming at each other. Goes to the next game.
- 8:44Speaker 5: He goes out to block a shot and he doesn't
- 8:46Speaker 5: block it and the goal it goes in. So I'm
- 8:49Speaker 5: on the bench, I skid on the ice. I go
- 8:50Speaker 5: where were you on that one?
- 8:54Speaker 6: His career and livelihood depends on blocking shots.
- 8:57Speaker 5: He takes his wires start crossing during the game, and
- 9:00Speaker 5: I see him all flustered, he skates in after the thing.
- 9:04Speaker 5: He's waiting for me. He's like, we're fucking going. I'm like,
- 9:05Speaker 5: all right, I go, let's fight. Let's go fight in
- 9:07Speaker 5: the parking lot. He's like, all right, let me go
- 9:09Speaker 5: finish my workout then I'll meet yet there, I'm alright.
- 9:12Speaker 5: So I'm like all right, I'm sitting in the trainer's
- 9:14Speaker 5: room and everyone's like what are you doing. I'm like,
- 9:15Speaker 5: I gotta go fight Gordo. So I see him. I
- 9:18Speaker 5: start like taping my wrist and then business like, come on, guys,
- 9:20Speaker 5: like we can't be doing this.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So like I go in there.
- 9:23Speaker 5: I put like tinfoil on my hands, like as a
- 9:26Speaker 5: joke to like light in the mood.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm like, come on, Gordo.
- 9:28Speaker 5: And like finally, after five minutes it cooled off and
- 9:30Speaker 5: we didn't fight.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yeah you're gonna fight barefoot.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Or like yeah, the street fight. Yeah, he would have
- 9:36Speaker 5: killed me on the ice, the only chance I would
- 9:37Speaker 5: have had on the street.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So that's a whole different discipline, like fighting without skates.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, yeah, But like that one was a special
- 9:45Speaker 6: case scenario where if you're having like a tough time
- 9:48Speaker 6: in a losing season. Like oftentimes when you like work
- 9:50Speaker 6: out your differences, there's practice fights all the time.
- 9:53Speaker 8: And do they leave the helmets on or no?
- 9:56Speaker 7: Yeah, like most of the time they always leave helmets
- 9:58Speaker 7: on now though, pretty much if you fall. But the
- 10:01Speaker 7: Blues when they won in twenty nineteen, they were in
- 10:04Speaker 7: the last place and then two guys got into a fight, Robert.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Brotuso and kid from Sanford.
- 10:09Speaker 7: And they fought in practice and one guy kind of
- 10:12Speaker 7: dummied the other guy and it I don't know, maybe
- 10:15Speaker 7: it wasn't just that, but it kicked off their season.
- 10:18Speaker 7: They went on this run like some sort of just
- 10:20Speaker 7: figuring out in practice.
- 10:21Speaker 6: So I would say I've been about four or five
- 10:23Speaker 6: practice fights in your career. But then you like in
- 10:25Speaker 6: the showers after you're doing helicopter cock and your right
- 10:30Speaker 6: back to normal, right it is right?
- 10:34Speaker 8: I'm sorry, dude.
- 10:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I feel like that's good therapy. Sometimes you just
- 10:38Speaker 6: fight it out and then all right, let's go grab it.
- 10:40Speaker 1: That's where a lot of couples do now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 7: When I was like you guys, maybe Sassin Frances, you're
- 10:46Speaker 7: going like war rewards this fight.
- 10:48Speaker 1: You're not squaring off.
- 10:50Speaker 8: No, I mean it all. I get mad at him
- 10:52Speaker 8: because he won't be on me, and that's all. I
- 10:58Speaker 8: honor your wick ship. Why won't someone's got not that
- 11:02Speaker 8: much to ask?
- 11:04Speaker 1: I feel like that's your trepidation with the PAP, Like
- 11:06Speaker 1: you just don't know where it's at.
- 11:08Speaker 4: You just got a helicopter com.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, like I don't know what
- 11:15Speaker 8: is currently like has hired a team of detectives to
- 11:20Speaker 8: comb through my trash and find, you know, whatever he
- 11:23Speaker 8: can or if he's just fundamentally above it, which I
- 11:27Speaker 8: suspect he is.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And he hasn't responded nod an episode since.
- 11:33Speaker 6: I was hoping for the you challenge him to should
- 11:36Speaker 6: we bring him in? Yeah? I want to see you guys.
- 11:40Speaker 8: And I did that because people were like, count on
- 11:43Speaker 8: Francis to challenge pap BEV to the whitest sport ever. Listen,
- 11:46Speaker 8: I'll play him in golf, swimming, country, Yeah, whatever you want.
- 11:51Speaker 8: I'll go all the way down the list. Squash any rackets, sport.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Really No, he's not, as.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Dominos, it's not a sport, not sports.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Games, anything outside of basketball, and.
- 12:12Speaker 8: Uh, that's it. Yeah, that's it.
- 12:14Speaker 6: That's it.
- 12:15Speaker 8: I would I would say the only the reason I
- 12:18Speaker 8: said padel was and I know it's paddle, but the
- 12:22Speaker 8: reason I said that was because his instagram most recent
- 12:26Speaker 8: post is him playing that, and I don't see him
- 12:29Speaker 8: playing any other sport, and so like I obviously I
- 12:31Speaker 8: can't play in basketball, and I don't know in any
- 12:35Speaker 8: other sport I would consider any other sport.
- 12:37Speaker 1: But but you trying to make him play you in
- 12:39Speaker 1: writing is kind of like him playing you. You should
- 12:44Speaker 1: maybe playing the basketball just to like and then get
- 12:47Speaker 1: let him dummy you in something and then and then
- 12:50Speaker 1: let's find a middle ground.
- 12:52Speaker 8: But I would say that to that point. Again, I
- 12:55Speaker 8: never planned to write a word about him in a
- 12:57Speaker 8: negative light.
- 12:58Speaker 7: But when he said they're trash like you must you were,
- 13:01Speaker 7: you were like, no, they're kind of not trapped.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Well, it's like they go viral and like they been
- 13:05Speaker 1: for a long time.
- 13:06Speaker 8: I thought you defended me really well. And he continued
- 13:11Speaker 8: to say, you're wrong. Uh, and and you know, deny
- 13:15Speaker 8: it again. I don't care. I hate to say it.
- 13:18Speaker 8: I don't want to like reveal the trick here. This
- 13:21Speaker 8: doesn't matter.
- 13:23Speaker 1: We're all gonna die, you know.
- 13:26Speaker 8: If someone if someone wants to take shots at me great,
- 13:29Speaker 8: like you have allowed me the opportunity to flex a
- 13:33Speaker 8: muscle that I don't get to use very often. And uh,
- 13:37Speaker 8: just remind people like you know, at any time, at
- 13:40Speaker 8: any moment, I can fuck anybody up with a block.
- 13:44Speaker 4: And so much rather just get fucking clocked in.
- 13:48Speaker 1: The head and not everyone. Every sentence gets worse. It's
- 13:54Speaker 1: one punched and handle that a bunch of like thick
- 14:00Speaker 1: ass words.
- 14:02Speaker 8: The blog. The blog went viral, it was trending. It
- 14:06Speaker 8: went into like NBA Twitter Now. Granted I d med
- 14:09Speaker 8: it to Trey Young.
- 14:14Speaker 6: Stern.
- 14:14Speaker 5: I don't know he brought it to the NBA office.
- 14:19Speaker 8: I said, Stern, Well that's just one commissioner ago.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right there.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Yeah, is that still your.
- 14:28Speaker 6: I wanted to ask you about that recent like that.
- 14:30Speaker 6: It wasn't a battle wrap, but it was the kind
- 14:33Speaker 6: ones the one that you did with the who's yes yes.
- 14:38Speaker 6: I feel like they didn't like hype up what you
- 14:40Speaker 6: said enough.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Because it was a weird situation because the first, first off,
- 14:44Speaker 1: it's three in the morning and so like we've been
- 14:47Speaker 1: waiting for eight hours. It's just like a very it's
- 14:49Speaker 1: like a weird energy suck. But there were some women
- 14:51Speaker 1: who went first, and the first woman who went like
- 14:54Speaker 1: she just forgot all her ship. She been practicing, like
- 14:57Speaker 1: I was with her as she practiced for hours, and
- 14:59Speaker 1: she it's like, was like so committed to finding it
- 15:02Speaker 1: and it just kind of sucked the energy out of
- 15:04Speaker 1: the room, which I mean, nothing you could do about it.
- 15:07Speaker 1: We just have to try and bring the energy back
- 15:09Speaker 1: up with your performance. But it was a cool scenario.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I don't know if you know about you know who Kaysnads.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Have you ever heard of it?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I've seen him on.
- 15:16Speaker 6: He's going twenty four to seven, twenty four.
- 15:18Speaker 1: To seven for a month.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I think he does like he does like sub what
- 15:22Speaker 4: he does like month and then a month off.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Ye yeah, exactly.
- 15:32Speaker 8: Your family's going to fall.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Paid like ten trillion dollars a month. Yeah, he's the
- 15:37Speaker 4: richest person on the planet.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Really because he's going so long. And they just like
- 15:41Speaker 6: they sponsor the what would you call that a live stream.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Where they're making the money off of ads.
- 15:46Speaker 4: So nine different ways. Yeah, there's money from every.
- 15:50Speaker 1: End, big sponsorships, there's ads on it, and then it's subscribers.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So he has a million people subscribing at different like
- 15:58Speaker 1: pay rists at different and tiers and the next highest
- 16:02Speaker 1: person is like eighty thousand, so he is more than
- 16:04Speaker 1: like ten x of the next biggest dude on Twitch.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Like he's like, it's like you get more for paying
- 16:10Speaker 1: more you.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Get So it's like I think he does it only
- 16:13Speaker 4: on Twitch. So it's like they do subs, which it's
- 16:17Speaker 4: like YouTube but just streaming.
- 16:19Speaker 8: It was originally meant more for video games and it's yeah,
- 16:21Speaker 8: now it's like breading to other things.
- 16:23Speaker 4: That and but like I think like one sub is
- 16:26Speaker 4: like eight bucks a month and he has a million, and.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Then there's top tiers where tiers exactly and then you
- 16:33Speaker 1: can gift subs like Snoop Dogg gave him like ten
- 16:36Speaker 1: thousand subs or whatever, so it's just like gave him
- 16:39Speaker 1: eight hundred.
- 16:40Speaker 7: And then on his streams he's just doing all like
- 16:42Speaker 7: battle rappings.
- 16:43Speaker 4: There's just a he doesn't do.
- 16:44Speaker 8: I don't think he does.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Know. He just does ship.
- 16:48Speaker 5: With Kevin Kevin Hart. They just sit in front of
- 16:51Speaker 5: a computer though, right, yeah, what does he do?
- 16:53Speaker 1: They just read the chat and like THEO they goof
- 16:55Speaker 1: off and dance and stuff like that.
- 16:58Speaker 6: This is kind of a question for all of you.
- 16:59Speaker 6: But going back to that that rap sequence, the girl
- 17:03Speaker 6: she messed up. She's practicing. There's a blog where you
- 17:06Speaker 6: were you were practicing in the back room. How when
- 17:08Speaker 6: you go out there, are you able to memorize everything?
- 17:11Speaker 6: And how much higher is your heart rate when you're
- 17:12Speaker 6: about to start, Because for me, that's like it's I
- 17:15Speaker 6: would just be like even going up there for stand
- 17:18Speaker 6: up Comma, yeah, exactly, exactly, reading so you can practice
- 17:27Speaker 6: your routines. But then the minute you get out there
- 17:28Speaker 6: where it's either a live performance or you're being streamed
- 17:31Speaker 6: to a million people, how are you keeping your heart
- 17:34Speaker 6: rate and everything the same? Going in?
- 17:36Speaker 5: Well, dude early on like doesn't have to worry about.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Situation.
- 17:46Speaker 8: Stop. He's in like he's right on the edge of
- 17:51Speaker 8: cardiac arrest all times. He's like, Fuck, I need to
- 17:55Speaker 8: watch something exciting.
- 18:00Speaker 6: It.
- 18:00Speaker 8: I'm low.
- 18:01Speaker 4: You are You guys are saying like I.
- 18:03Speaker 6: Freak the fuck out right before you go on stage.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Anything to do you internalize it though you don't externalize it,
- 18:09Speaker 1: so it's not like you're like frantic or like being
- 18:11Speaker 1: mean to people.
- 18:11Speaker 4: You just are like, okay, because I'm going through where
- 18:14Speaker 4: there's a war happening in my head.
- 18:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:18Speaker 5: But even if like you were to forget something like
- 18:20Speaker 5: that girl that are you guys on stage, like you
- 18:23Speaker 5: try to remember it or you just like fuck it,
- 18:24Speaker 5: I gotta go to something else.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I've done that before. Like early on, I would like
- 18:28Speaker 1: just freestyle something. There's been like one or two times
- 18:31Speaker 1: where I tried to remember and it's all it always
- 18:33Speaker 1: fucks you trying to remember. But early on, I was
- 18:36Speaker 1: like I wouldn't even look the other guy in the
- 18:39Speaker 1: eye because like I was like scared that I was
- 18:42Speaker 1: like gonna like if I looked at him and he
- 18:43Speaker 1: like did something and like fucked me up, that I
- 18:46Speaker 1: was gonna forget. But like I built it to a
- 18:47Speaker 1: point where I memorize it, like I'm rote memorization. I
- 18:51Speaker 1: have it two weeks before what I'm gonna do, and
- 18:53Speaker 1: I go over it and over it and over it
- 18:55Speaker 1: till I could say it while I'm doing something else,
- 18:57Speaker 1: doing the dishes, thinking about something else, so I'm not
- 18:59Speaker 1: even thinking about it. But I got to a point
- 19:01Speaker 1: where I like I would just have to like be
- 19:03Speaker 1: able to just stare like a mean motherfucker in the eye.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Like somebody who was.
- 19:06Speaker 8: Like it's better if you're looking at.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Him, this looks way sicker. Like if I'm like looking
- 19:11Speaker 1: at the ground, I look like I'm a fucking raging
- 19:15Speaker 1: another way is it? But it's it's just going over
- 19:19Speaker 1: it a million times and just the confidence of it.
- 19:22Speaker 1: And I realized, like, no one is going to like
- 19:25Speaker 1: punch me in the face. Like you don't get points
- 19:27Speaker 1: for punching the nerdy white dude in the face. Like
- 19:29Speaker 1: you don't look tough for punching me in the face.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Like if you punch like a huge fucking scary ass
- 19:34Speaker 1: dude in the face, maybe that's points. But you just
- 19:36Speaker 1: go to a paddle here we go like that.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Have you ever almost gotten punched? No, what about when
- 19:46Speaker 4: you went if you had seen this when he went
- 19:48Speaker 4: out as Abraham Lincoln? No, I think it's he was
- 19:51Speaker 4: battling this dude that called him racist, and then he
- 19:53Speaker 4: came out as Abraham and the dude left, He left
- 19:57Speaker 4: the back.
- 19:58Speaker 1: The dude he dressed as a in his last battle,
- 20:01Speaker 1: he dressed as a slave. He came out in like
- 20:04Speaker 1: a championship match as a slave and was like like shaking,
- 20:08Speaker 1: like like saying insane ship. And so I was like,
- 20:12Speaker 1: dressed as Abraham Lincoln. I was like, my son, you're free,
- 20:22Speaker 1: because he didn't have anything prepared for it, like he's white.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah he didn't. I mean, how are you beating Lincoln?
- 20:28Speaker 1: You know, as a black guy. It's like, what can
- 20:30Speaker 1: you say to Lincoln? Like Lincoln is.
- 20:33Speaker 6: A pretty liberal president, wasn't it?
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, how can you insult the guy that
- 20:39Speaker 1: freed all the slaves? It was the biggest checkmate ever.
- 20:41Speaker 1: But then the guy checkmated me back. He jumped off
- 20:44Speaker 1: the stage and left the venue, and so I like
- 20:46Speaker 1: fucking memorized it. It was in Philly. I had four
- 20:49Speaker 1: hundred people there to see me, So I like did
- 20:52Speaker 1: all my rounds, like shouting to the back of the
- 20:54Speaker 1: room like he was there. He's fucking long gone. But
- 20:56Speaker 1: I mean, just a way to put.
- 20:59Speaker 6: That's what about you doing? Stand up? Like he said,
- 21:03Speaker 6: he's got a war inside of his head. Are you
- 21:05Speaker 6: pretty pretty confident know the material going in?
- 21:08Speaker 3: Uh?
- 21:08Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 21:08Speaker 8: I mean right now My hours is like just I
- 21:13Speaker 8: know it front to back, and so if if somehow
- 21:16Speaker 8: I did skip a joke, I would know that I
- 21:19Speaker 8: hadn't said it, and I could easily circle back and
- 21:21Speaker 8: fit it in somewhere like.
- 21:22Speaker 7: When do you guys know to change your setup, Like
- 21:25Speaker 7: you're running right now the same set you're saying.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Yeah kind of. I mean, you know, it's like a
- 21:31Speaker 8: living document in a way where I'm always sort of
- 21:36Speaker 8: twisting things around and trying to tighten things. And I
- 21:41Speaker 8: think that once you start getting sick of telling a joke,
- 21:43Speaker 8: the audience knows and then you kind of kick that
- 21:46Speaker 8: one out and then you add some new thing.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Right, But he's also a lot less like fluid, Like
- 21:53Speaker 4: I would say, like you can fuck up and stand
- 21:55Speaker 4: like there's no or you can look at a note
- 21:57Speaker 4: maybe yeah, no one's gonna be like, well that part
- 21:58Speaker 4: didn't rhyme.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Yeah, choking that Lincoln's done.
- 22:06Speaker 4: You can do the jokes and anything.
- 22:10Speaker 6: That's awesome.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Then you could go to like crowd work too, if
- 22:12Speaker 5: you really fucked up, right, like just lost everything.
- 22:15Speaker 8: Without a doubt, and and I mean I think people
- 22:17Speaker 8: do that also if if just it's just generally not
- 22:20Speaker 8: going that well, like for whatever reason, you know, if
- 22:23Speaker 8: the crowd's just not into it, you start addressing them
- 22:26Speaker 8: and making fun of them, and that brings can kind
- 22:28Speaker 8: of bring it back to life a little bit.
- 22:30Speaker 6: That's a whole different world.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Man, what you do That's crazy.
- 22:33Speaker 6: I got nervous playing hockey in front of people, let
- 22:36Speaker 6: alone just like trying to tell jokes.
- 22:39Speaker 8: How nervous he and I would be fucking getting on
- 22:41Speaker 8: the ice against one of you guys. It's the exact
- 22:44Speaker 8: same thing, yeah, right, in fact.
- 22:46Speaker 4: It's I get nervous still for every Like I don't
- 22:49Speaker 4: think stand up. I think it makes I think most can.
- 22:52Speaker 6: You probably should be felt. He's got those butterflies going
- 22:56Speaker 6: in every show.
- 22:57Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think people are like shipping their pants.
- 22:59Speaker 8: I'm just saying for them to be like, there's nothing
- 23:02Speaker 8: scarier than going on stage and telling jokes. I'm like,
- 23:05Speaker 8: there's nothing scarier than knowing you have to fight Bizz
- 23:09Speaker 8: tomorrow morning on.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Are you kidding me?
- 23:13Speaker 8: That's a nightmare.
- 23:15Speaker 7: Way worse scared then was when he was getting bring
- 23:22Speaker 7: to the Square.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Also, it's like, like you're sports, there's so much more
- 23:28Speaker 4: on the line as fuck up people like fuck up. No,
- 23:34Speaker 4: there's thirty people who are like dude, that sucks, yeah, but.
- 23:36Speaker 6: They're still get a picture after the game instead of
- 23:38Speaker 6: sending like a death threat via like you.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Guys are like you fuck up and it's on the news.
- 23:44Speaker 8: You've heard of town. You've really like destroyed the mood
- 23:49Speaker 8: of the city.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 7: Yeah, erys on the ice like like the Giants kicker
- 23:54Speaker 7: right now like that.
- 23:55Speaker 8: Yeah, he'd rather bomb on stage.
- 23:57Speaker 6: I don't know if this is true, but when I
- 23:59Speaker 6: was playing Pittsburgh, people said when the Steelers would lose
- 24:02Speaker 6: the amount of domestic violence calls they would get with
- 24:04Speaker 6: Skyris Yeah. No, oh yeah, that's why. I mean, that's
- 24:07Speaker 6: the rumor.
- 24:08Speaker 9: The craziest statistics absolute.
- 24:10Speaker 6: They got a strong fan base.
- 24:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 6: The craziest.
- 24:14Speaker 8: Was when when Lebron would play in Cleveland, like when
- 24:18Speaker 8: he was on the Cavs versus when he wasn't. I
- 24:20Speaker 8: think it was something like the GDP of the city
- 24:23Speaker 8: was like thirty percent lower. I don't know exactly the number,
- 24:27Speaker 8: but when he was there versus when he wasn't, Like
- 24:30Speaker 8: the what the amount of yeah commerce.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Same in Colorado, it like was like sixty million dollars
- 24:37Speaker 1: to like the same Boulders. Yeah GDP.
- 24:40Speaker 5: Like if McDavid leaves Edmonton right now, like that city.
- 24:43Speaker 7: City, he won't be a city he signed, What do you.
- 24:46Speaker 6: Guys find, It'll be a suburb of Calcilar.
- 24:48Speaker 7: Years two more fake cut twelve and a half, he
- 24:52Speaker 7: could have got twenty twenty. Yeah, so's these guys. That's
- 24:56Speaker 7: very much ammo on me anymore.
- 24:57Speaker 1: But that's okay. But what are you afraid of? Like
- 24:59Speaker 1: the a fan saying, like when you said you're afraid
- 25:02Speaker 1: of playing in front of people, like, what are you
- 25:04Speaker 1: afraid of them like doing or saying.
- 25:06Speaker 6: I think it's more like fucking up and costing your
- 25:08Speaker 6: team a goal. And there's eighteen thousand people there who
- 25:11Speaker 6: are just like, oh, this fucking loser.
- 25:13Speaker 7: Now it's more me and Edmonton being minus Moore, he
- 25:17Speaker 7: being a very tall defenseman who didn't hit anyone, right, Like,
- 25:20Speaker 7: so big defenseman hit people fight. No, you don't do that, okay,
- 25:23Speaker 7: score goals, you don't do that. Okay, make a breakup
- 25:25Speaker 7: aass okay. He keeps turning the puck over. Now, I'm
- 25:28Speaker 7: eating a steak, you know, after the game at Cactus Club,
- 25:32Speaker 7: and there's a guy that comes over, You fucking suck
- 25:35Speaker 7: with me, You suck, And I'm just like, ah, mistake.
- 25:38Speaker 7: He's like, they're a waste of money, this team stinks.
- 25:41Speaker 7: You're the worst player on the team, Like, please leave me.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Alone.
- 25:44Speaker 9: That sucks that I never dealt with.
- 25:47Speaker 1: That was I was like crying. My dad came to
- 25:51Speaker 1: visit me.
- 25:51Speaker 7: He's like, you don't seem like yourself, and I just
- 25:53Speaker 7: like started crying. I'm so bad now and these people hate.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Imagine that. I was going to stand up now I'm
- 26:04Speaker 1: doing up.
- 26:05Speaker 5: When I was in Philly and you know how the
- 26:07Speaker 5: sports fans there, guys would read me their d ms
- 26:11Speaker 5: on Twitter and it was fucking ruthless. That would be
- 26:14Speaker 5: a good show to have guys come on and read
- 26:16Speaker 5: like I hope your family dies in a fire, like
- 26:19Speaker 5: the worst stuff you could ever say.
- 26:20Speaker 1: To a transit blog.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Besides that, Yeah, so the people are That's why I
- 26:25Speaker 5: never had Twitter, never had anything. When I'm playing, it's like, yeah, yeah,
- 26:30Speaker 5: that's smart.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Yeah that like the Giants kicker, Yeah.
- 26:33Speaker 7: The pump is that that that guys get like you
- 26:36Speaker 7: get used to playing well and the highs of like
- 26:39Speaker 7: the d MS being you're unbelievable, and it's like that's
- 26:42Speaker 7: just a slippery slope because at some point I am unbelievable,
- 26:47Speaker 7: exactly fact, and then it turns into the every guy
- 26:51Speaker 7: in their career at some point it's gonna you know
- 26:53Speaker 7: Crosby obviously wouldn't be that case, but most guys like
- 26:56Speaker 7: it's gonna turn nasty, so you never want to read
- 26:59Speaker 7: the good stuff either, and you're you're reading it all
- 27:01Speaker 7: no matter.
- 27:01Speaker 1: What they say, like don't know what always say.
- 27:03Speaker 5: You're never as good as you think you are, and
- 27:05Speaker 5: you're never as bad as you think you are.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Well unless you're on the Oilers in twenty ten, you
- 27:09Speaker 1: were bad to oil You out of that conversation end
- 27:13Speaker 1: with the guy like he just eventually just like walked
- 27:15Speaker 1: away and it happened all the time. Can you sign
- 27:19Speaker 1: I love my city?
- 27:20Speaker 7: Like I'm like, I'm an Oilers fan, But at that time,
- 27:22Speaker 7: I was like I hate this place.
- 27:24Speaker 1: There's West Edmonton Mall that there's five all those so big.
- 27:27Speaker 1: The mall's five, all those and I was there that many,
- 27:29Speaker 1: all those that I still water.
- 27:32Speaker 7: There's everything, but there's five all those, So I would
- 27:35Speaker 7: just kind of hold on to that, like you live
- 27:36Speaker 7: in a city with five all those?
- 27:39Speaker 1: You don't matter to me, you don't.
- 27:41Speaker 7: The guy was like in my head, like, yeah, play
- 27:43Speaker 7: sock you know your car at night? Fuck you you're
- 27:46Speaker 7: the real loser here.
- 27:47Speaker 8: But I was the loser someday, someday, I'm going to
- 27:50Speaker 8: live somewhere with only one all though, then I can
- 27:54Speaker 8: plain season ends. I got my summer house. There are
- 27:58Speaker 8: no all those.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I'm going to Ara pastall for those here too. Edmonton
- 28:08Speaker 1: is an interesting city too. I feel like, uh, that's
- 28:11Speaker 1: got to be like all a lot of people have
- 28:13Speaker 1: as far as like entertainment sports wise, they have the Eskimos,
- 28:18Speaker 1: I believe CFL.
- 28:20Speaker 6: I mean actually they're called the Edmonton Elks now because
- 28:23Speaker 6: like there was this thing in Canada where kind of
- 28:25Speaker 6: like in the States.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Like Indians.
- 28:27Speaker 6: Yeah, Canada, like they obviously they've given them a lot
- 28:31Speaker 6: of land back and they told us not to call
- 28:33Speaker 6: them eskimos either.
- 28:35Speaker 8: Yeah, not just in Canada. It became Inuits, Yeah, I
- 28:39Speaker 8: think because I think we had a few up in Alaska.
- 28:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I think they were. I feel like they're starting
- 28:45Speaker 6: to address all that stuff. What was the what was
- 28:48Speaker 6: the big one Redskins?
- 28:49Speaker 4: Right?
- 28:49Speaker 8: Obviously, yes, eskimo. I was told meant raw meat eater,
- 28:54Speaker 8: and which is an insult. I mean that it sounds
- 28:58Speaker 8: like Joe the guy.
- 28:59Speaker 5: Called that's what the guy called you, Like, what do
- 29:04Speaker 5: you mean, dude?
- 29:06Speaker 6: Did you ever sleep with the girl at the karaoke bar.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I've wondered about that clip.
- 29:16Speaker 8: Clip.
- 29:16Speaker 1: If you were there that night, you would not have
- 29:18Speaker 1: married her.
- 29:19Speaker 4: She was loing on like pills or something. And no,
- 29:24Speaker 4: I never talked to her. I never even spoke to you.
- 29:26Speaker 8: Can I say something, I've seen that clip. I'm not lying.
- 29:29Speaker 8: I thought that was Ai.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that that clip is old enough where I was.
- 29:33Speaker 6: Like, she is beautiful in person, and she was on
- 29:36Speaker 6: that video.
- 29:37Speaker 1: She was she was so insane. Like we walked in
- 29:40Speaker 1: and she was like she had her hands around a
- 29:43Speaker 1: guy who looked like a Mexican gang member, fucking hugging
- 29:47Speaker 1: on him like this overweight and then she like matriculated
- 29:51Speaker 1: over to like some frat boys, and then she like
- 29:54Speaker 1: wafted over to Harry. So she wasn't she was for
- 29:56Speaker 1: the streets.
- 29:57Speaker 4: It was kind of like she was just causing problems
- 29:59Speaker 4: every like it was okay, she was an elephant like
- 30:02Speaker 4: she was by that time. Yeah, Like at that point
- 30:05Speaker 4: in the evening, it was like you like that's why
- 30:07Speaker 4: everyone was like, oh, because I said I never saw
- 30:09Speaker 4: her when we when I was singing, and I didn't.
- 30:12Speaker 4: It was like at that point in the evening. It
- 30:13Speaker 4: was like she had been around for so long that
- 30:15Speaker 4: it was like, oh yeah, thats crazy.
- 30:16Speaker 8: Crazy was not how did my future?
- 30:19Speaker 4: Because I was looking at the screen.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I was locked into the song.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Yeah, and it's gonna say, there's only one person in
- 30:24Speaker 8: front of you, I know, dancing like she's summoning fairies
- 30:27Speaker 8: in the woods or something.
- 30:29Speaker 1: It was like you were like a god to her.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I was also fucking hammered, like everyone
- 30:35Speaker 4: was like I got off and and everyone was no
- 30:36Speaker 4: one's ever done.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yea psycho if you do? Or Asian? Where was this?
- 30:46Speaker 1: This was in Minnesota, Minnesota.
- 30:50Speaker 8: In Minnesota?
- 30:51Speaker 4: Album was there? Yeah?
- 30:55Speaker 6: She was she getting you going a little bit though,
- 30:58Speaker 6: like I know she.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Mean she was hot, Like no, because we were dealing
- 31:02Speaker 4: with another There was that other dude that was causing
- 31:04Speaker 4: a bunch of issues.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Like Mike like kind of like he didn't like fight
- 31:08Speaker 1: the guy, but like a guy kept like the one
- 31:10Speaker 1: of the drunk guys. I think one of the guys
- 31:11Speaker 1: she was talking to, like kept coming after us and
- 31:14Speaker 1: our muddy dude guys Like I would have made the
- 31:19Speaker 1: top six, but Mike I kind of like threw it.
- 31:27Speaker 1: He like pushed him and I was buckled to he was.
- 31:30Speaker 8: It was his birthday too.
- 31:34Speaker 7: What do you guys think of like this podcast rising?
- 31:37Speaker 7: Like you think it's just sass buying and more to
- 31:39Speaker 7: get it to that next level, that's what we need.
- 31:44Speaker 7: Like if this is like a little like session, like
- 31:47Speaker 7: if sass buys in more.
- 31:49Speaker 4: We're not We're we're good like we're we're.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Happy when they don't.
- 31:54Speaker 4: We're on the Cincinnati. We're not thinking about week. We're
- 31:57Speaker 4: not thinking about last week.
- 31:58Speaker 8: We moved on.
- 31:59Speaker 5: Okay, why don't you buy into his friendship? Like the
- 32:01Speaker 5: hands out there, like fucking is that?
- 32:04Speaker 1: Is that just him? Or like are you not really
- 32:06Speaker 1: looking to become good friends with anyone?
- 32:07Speaker 4: I'm good friends with everyone here.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I think people would say no to that. There's people
- 32:12Speaker 1: over here that are like.
- 32:13Speaker 5: What, I think You've got to tell people more. It
- 32:16Speaker 5: seems like you're not a guy that right, right, Like.
- 32:18Speaker 1: The love language like words of affirmation.
- 32:21Speaker 11: Ron you love him, tell Francis, But we don't even
- 32:25Speaker 11: need that.
- 32:27Speaker 8: We don't even need that. It's like if you tell
- 32:29Speaker 8: if someone texts you at four pm on a Wednesday, like,
- 32:32Speaker 8: hey man, what are you up to tonight? And you
- 32:33Speaker 8: don't respond until the next Saturday or ever.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 32:38Speaker 8: Yeah, that's like, how are you supposed to think he
- 32:40Speaker 8: likes you? Well, yeah, or he's alive or like, you know,
- 32:44Speaker 8: I don't know. I don't know.
- 32:45Speaker 4: I got a lot of shit going on. I got
- 32:49Speaker 4: a lot of moving parts, and it's hard for me
- 32:51Speaker 4: to keep up. I try my best, and a lot
- 32:52Speaker 4: of that is your game. When you're gaming, you're not
- 32:55Speaker 4: answering your phone. Like I don't play nearly as much
- 32:58Speaker 4: video You.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Brought your games on the when we were on the
- 33:01Speaker 1: road Jimpy road trip.
- 33:03Speaker 4: That's time to play video games.
- 33:05Speaker 5: When you're at an event, Yeah, when you're supposed to be.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Also, also when we were on that trip, I had
- 33:15Speaker 4: to go somewhere directly from there.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Where he was also going to have to play video head. Well,
- 33:22Speaker 1: it was a video game tournament.
- 33:26Speaker 4: We're getting there. We signed our team this weekend for
- 33:28Speaker 4: tell you, for tell you, Rod Bush.
- 33:30Speaker 7: The team set and you need to raise funds now,
- 33:33Speaker 7: Like that's why Jered asked Dave for ten million.
- 33:35Speaker 4: That's a whole nother story. That's we're thinking down line.
- 33:38Speaker 4: We do need ten mil. If you know anyone that has.
- 33:41Speaker 11: We'll put a deck together, maybe text from Frances he's
- 33:45Speaker 11: got some hedge funds buddies that.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I'm not giving shirt he doesn't have. And weirdly, I
- 33:53Speaker 1: think it's a strategic move by Sass And it's like
- 33:56Speaker 1: the rabbit at a dog race, and that keeps Francis
- 33:59Speaker 1: running fast, you.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Know what I mean, He's gonna just like if he
- 34:02Speaker 7: had his heart's going to explode.
- 34:04Speaker 1: You gonna you can't run forever.
- 34:07Speaker 7: Then the rabbits laughing. It's like, oh, that didn't work out.
- 34:09Speaker 7: We thought it was gonna work.
- 34:11Speaker 8: I've given up on Harry.
- 34:13Speaker 1: We said that before though before you can't quit him.
- 34:17Speaker 8: I don't. Unfortunately, like once you move out of the
- 34:21Speaker 8: funny chase part, what's left is just all matches energy
- 34:25Speaker 8: and then it's like this weird yeah, just us ignoring
- 34:31Speaker 8: each other.
- 34:32Speaker 7: But is it on purpose where you're just kind of
- 34:34Speaker 7: being like a little troll where where when he's talking,
- 34:37Speaker 7: you just get on your phone, just like.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Fantasy.
- 34:46Speaker 6: I do that, though I'm a little bit more. I
- 34:50Speaker 6: know that I'm addicted to my phone.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but you also if I say I love you,
- 34:53Speaker 1: you'll tell me that first, you know.
- 34:58Speaker 4: That's like you guys got it? You guys got like,
- 35:00Speaker 4: you know, you're doing helicopter cock in.
- 35:02Speaker 6: The locker roo.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's what we should go do. You guys
- 35:04Speaker 1: got a little jump on the Honestly, I feel like
- 35:06Speaker 1: we solve everything. Yeah, you guys pist bomb together this
- 35:09Speaker 1: thing level.
- 35:10Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm not built for the pist bomb.
- 35:13Speaker 6: You're snapped.
- 35:14Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 8: Same here.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I can't do the god and I'm happy about that.
- 35:17Speaker 4: I'm not I'm not looking to do piss bombs.
- 35:19Speaker 1: What's the percentage of guys in the locker room that
- 35:21Speaker 1: are snipped?
- 35:22Speaker 5: I feel like, what are Europeans French can heat?
- 35:24Speaker 1: Actually, most guys are snipped, but some Europeans European An
- 35:31Speaker 1: maybe seventy five percent guys are snipped.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 4: So if you want to do a piss bomb but
- 35:35Speaker 4: you're snipped, do you get to borrow someone else's You
- 35:37Speaker 4: only get to watch someone's external You know you can't
- 35:40Speaker 4: take it off?
- 35:41Speaker 1: No, it's.
- 35:45Speaker 4: You guys do a little docking.
- 35:46Speaker 5: You try. Docking is one of the filthiest things.
- 35:51Speaker 8: You misunderstand. This is part of my penis.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I cannot have it to screw this off like I'm
- 35:58Speaker 1: not it's nasty. My parents tried to not circumcise me.
- 36:05Speaker 1: But at six weeks I got like sepsis and I
- 36:08Speaker 1: almost died from not having been circumcised, so they had
- 36:12Speaker 1: to like emergency, Like I was in like the nick
- 36:15Speaker 1: you for ten days because my parents couldn't handle my well,
- 36:20Speaker 1: two of our sons were born at home.
- 36:23Speaker 7: So then the guy comes about ten days later and
- 36:25Speaker 7: does it right on the kitchen table, kitchen table.
- 36:28Speaker 12: Kitchens and then it's like you feel really mad doing
- 36:34Speaker 12: it's horrific doing it to him, But I'm like, this
- 36:37Speaker 12: kid will be so happy that he doesn't look like
- 36:40Speaker 12: business hogs fifteen.
- 36:42Speaker 1: But he can't piss and now he can't piss ball either.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I don't want to pissballself.
- 36:45Speaker 5: You should have kept it and then he could put
- 36:46Speaker 5: it on try to sell it.
- 36:49Speaker 1: If I kept the forces like this.
- 36:50Speaker 6: Could be like we're got the different.
- 36:53Speaker 5: So one of one of our best friends, he has
- 36:56Speaker 5: an older brother and a younger brother. The older brother
- 36:59Speaker 5: and the younger brother, then he's not so he's the
- 37:02Speaker 5: middle boy. And his dad was like, I know, how
- 37:04Speaker 5: mad would you be at your dad for?
- 37:05Speaker 1: He never got over it.
- 37:06Speaker 6: No, they say that it feels fifteen percent better because
- 37:10Speaker 6: of the skin rolling over the head.
- 37:12Speaker 5: And I've heard this no every but who's making It's
- 37:17Speaker 5: like they say, like a fish doesn't feel a hook,
- 37:19Speaker 5: like who?
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah, who's reporting.
- 37:23Speaker 8: The adults had foreskin and then removed it.
- 37:29Speaker 6: Can you do it?
- 37:30Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 37:30Speaker 5: My buddy did get high school because we made fun
- 37:32Speaker 5: of him so much.
- 37:33Speaker 6: And then you can't get you can't get hard for
- 37:35Speaker 6: like you have to take pills not to get hard.
- 37:37Speaker 6: But it's very risky older in age obviously, with with
- 37:40Speaker 6: like the bacteria and stuff. I wouldn't recommend it. There
- 37:42Speaker 6: are people who convert to to be Jews. He said, yes,
- 37:48Speaker 6: I didn't want to say the wrong thing and eying,
- 37:50Speaker 6: you know whatever.
- 37:52Speaker 1: There are people that try to get it back. They'll
- 37:54Speaker 1: try to regrow it. You could kind of like put
- 37:56Speaker 1: it maybe like weight or something like that. Water exactly.
- 38:01Speaker 8: Yeah, by the way, to get hard, it's called well
- 38:05Speaker 8: butrin called being friends called my anti depressed.
- 38:11Speaker 6: But they do say it's fifteen percent better as far
- 38:14Speaker 6: as feeling, and with the foreskin over it for as
- 38:17Speaker 6: long as it's been over it, you're not as desensitized
- 38:20Speaker 6: because when you're open your non covered wagons, hitting your
- 38:23Speaker 6: boxers and touching that over time, it's going to become desensitizedelified.
- 38:28Speaker 8: Yeah windshield, yeah exactly.
- 38:32Speaker 6: Yeah, So I'm it doesn't bug me as much. Although
- 38:35Speaker 6: when it's soft it looks like the Utah man with
- 38:39Speaker 6: the mascot.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Maybe that's why you love fucking, Like maybe that's it,
- 38:42Speaker 1: Like it's just so much better, feels better, like it
- 38:44Speaker 1: could might just be way better for you.
- 38:46Speaker 6: That's true. I think I love fucking more than these two.
- 38:48Speaker 7: I mean, we're both married and we love, you know,
- 38:51Speaker 7: having sexual intercourse with worse fuck it. So it's very
- 38:56Speaker 7: it's become probably a little bit of an issue in
- 38:58Speaker 7: his life.
- 39:00Speaker 8: He can't have sexual intercourse no no, no, no.
- 39:04Speaker 13: No, like to off the music, to look in their
- 39:11Speaker 13: eyes and slip blow that fucking candle out?
- 39:19Speaker 8: Did you shower before this?
- 39:23Speaker 1: That starts?
- 39:24Speaker 6: Put the scar.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Let me sell. I wasn't gonna or I was always
- 39:31Speaker 1: going to get my son's uh circumcised, but at the hospital,
- 39:34Speaker 1: like it's the day they're born, and so I like
- 39:36Speaker 1: felt really bad, like you're saying, and I was like,
- 39:39Speaker 1: I have to watch this because it's like getting it's
- 39:43Speaker 1: like having meat, being a meat eater and not like
- 39:46Speaker 1: being willing to see like the deer die. You know
- 39:49Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 39:49Speaker 7: You have to subject yourself to what he's going through
- 39:52Speaker 7: you or you feel like bad or I'm not just
- 39:53Speaker 7: gonna give them to someone like take him in another
- 39:55Speaker 7: room and like and so I watched and I like
- 39:57Speaker 7: went and like looked through two panes of glasses.
- 39:59Speaker 1: They did it, and I just felt like a dude
- 40:01Speaker 1: who's like at the mechanic pretending to know about cars
- 40:04Speaker 1: and just being like, oh, yeah, looks good. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:07Speaker 1: that's probably what you should be doing more on the right. Yeah,
- 40:11Speaker 1: they're going to balance it out, give it a moment
- 40:21Speaker 1: electure in the back.
- 40:23Speaker 8: Actually for the other one, I prefer to half the
- 40:25Speaker 8: penis was head bring it down, another interesting a cigarette.
- 40:33Speaker 1: It was a bizarre movie.
- 40:34Speaker 8: I wouldn't feel left.
- 40:35Speaker 4: I would feel like I would need well, I guess
- 40:36Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm not a father, so I can't say,
- 40:39Speaker 4: but I wouldn't think. I feel like i'd be like,
- 40:40Speaker 4: I don't know, I went through myself. It'll be fine,
- 40:43Speaker 4: Well that was.
- 40:43Speaker 7: My thing, and I'm like, they don't remember. Stop you
- 40:46Speaker 7: know you're being sensitive right now?
- 40:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I would I wouldn't want to see I feel
- 40:49Speaker 4: like it would be too brutal.
- 40:51Speaker 6: Did you guys watch the head come out of the vagina?
- 40:54Speaker 6: If you watch directly?
- 40:55Speaker 1: It was a yeah.
- 40:57Speaker 8: I had them come over.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I was like, just get some powder, hang out, grab
- 41:02Speaker 1: some body armors and come on. Wasn't coming like, it's
- 41:08Speaker 1: just what the fuck it's worth? The Francis.
- 41:15Speaker 6: You guys don't even see each other.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Man Francis came.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Did you guys get to watch that? When your wives
- 41:21Speaker 6: were giving yes? Are you supposed to watch it directly
- 41:24Speaker 6: come out?
- 41:24Speaker 8: And you didn't?
- 41:25Speaker 7: I was like, you behind the das will stand up, like,
- 41:30Speaker 7: you know the way she's looking, so you're not like
- 41:32Speaker 7: looking up at her, so you're kind of seeing what
- 41:34Speaker 7: she's seeing.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I get right down in there.
- 41:37Speaker 8: You did. You had twins, right? I admire that. I
- 41:41Speaker 8: don't know that I would want to do that.
- 41:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I didn't think I would, but then I was like,
- 41:45Speaker 7: I have to one like the I don't know.
- 41:48Speaker 5: I just like it's the most beautiful, like as as
- 41:51Speaker 5: crazy as it sounds like, it's.
- 41:53Speaker 1: The most insane.
- 41:54Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it's insane, like something's coming out of somebody
- 41:58Speaker 5: and then like you fall in love with it right away.
- 42:00Speaker 5: It's the crazy unless you've been through it, right, like obviously,
- 42:03Speaker 5: but it's insane to see.
- 42:05Speaker 1: And it's made out of you.
- 42:06Speaker 8: Right have you hopefully have you guys been told to
- 42:09Speaker 8: say this, because it's like one of those things that.
- 42:11Speaker 1: All like, hey babe, I got it in.
- 42:18Speaker 7: I promise you i'd say that. Just listen tomorrow Newnie
- 42:21Speaker 7: turns down on the boy Dad.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Just try to get through the intro.
- 42:24Speaker 8: I remember in like seventh grade Bio, they showed that
- 42:27Speaker 8: Miracle of Life video and they actually showed a baby crowning,
- 42:30Speaker 8: and I remember I was like, I am gay forever
- 42:34Speaker 8: and I'll never go down on one of those things again.
- 42:37Speaker 8: Not that I had in seventh grade, but have you said,
- 42:41Speaker 8: but never will I.
- 42:43Speaker 1: It's like you can fall in if it's like the
- 42:45Speaker 1: Grand Canyon, they can open.
- 42:46Speaker 8: Yes, exactly.
- 42:48Speaker 4: I hate the word crowning. Ditch that completely.
- 42:51Speaker 7: Yeah, crowning when the head's there and there's a couple
- 42:55Speaker 7: pushes where the head's just there.
- 42:56Speaker 1: And you're just like, wait, when's he coming out?
- 42:58Speaker 7: It's it's wild and they used to and they grab
- 43:01Speaker 7: a picture our third Colu. The Bruins played the Maple
- 43:06Speaker 7: Leafs in twenty twenty four playoffs. They went to Game seven,
- 43:11Speaker 7: and this was a home birth, so she started going
- 43:13Speaker 7: into labor right as the game began. So she was
- 43:16Speaker 7: upstairs with the midwives and I was downstairs. It was unbelievable.
- 43:19Speaker 7: And if I go up at commercials and think I'm good,
- 43:22Speaker 7: I'm good. The contractions aren't too far apart. And then
- 43:25Speaker 7: I'd go back down and then posture Nach scored and
- 43:27Speaker 7: the old thing for me.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Was I'm not even Bruins.
- 43:29Speaker 7: I was like, I need Toronto to lose like Bizz.
- 43:33Speaker 7: I don't want Bizz to win. And Posternoch scored on
- 43:36Speaker 7: this beautiful ot winner. Bruins win in the first round.
- 43:39Speaker 7: I walk upstairs. Eight minutes later. He was born a
- 43:42Speaker 7: wild Friday night. It was a Friday night, Friday night,
- 43:45Speaker 7: May four.
- 43:48Speaker 6: The poster ot winner and a crowning.
- 43:54Speaker 9: The leg.
- 44:04Speaker 8: Unfortunately they didn't come out first.
- 44:06Speaker 1: You know, that was beautiful.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Yeah, got draft more sponsor.
- 44:16Speaker 1: To be part of that, exactly birth props. That's fucking nuts.
- 44:22Speaker 1: So she was fine with you, just being that she
- 44:24Speaker 1: didn't want you, like it wasn't like real time yet,
- 44:28Speaker 1: Like he was cheerading and I was.
- 44:30Speaker 6: Going agaphone watching the Bruins and guys.

- 49:15Speaker 5: That episode was so good, so good.
- 49:18Speaker 8: Yeah, that was a banger. I honestly think that, like.
- 49:24Speaker 4: I was thinking about.
- 49:25Speaker 8: That that was your third kid, Yes, how much from
- 49:29Speaker 8: the first to the second to the third does the
- 49:31Speaker 8: whole process sort of become a little bit more like
- 49:34Speaker 8: we're we're not that worried about it anymore, or all
- 49:37Speaker 8: the pregnancy, yeah, or even the delivery or like whatever
- 49:40Speaker 8: all that.
- 49:40Speaker 7: I think second one, you're just like, like you don't
- 49:43Speaker 7: miss any meetings leading into your first role, right, Like you.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Were at all everything, every appointment, and then all of a.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Sudden, like as the second and third com you're like,
- 49:51Speaker 7: all right, weeah, that appointment don't need to be yet.
- 49:53Speaker 8: Things like that. Yeah, are you guys doing those breathing
- 49:56Speaker 8: classes with them?
- 49:57Speaker 1: We didn't do that.
- 49:59Speaker 8: No, what's that like?
- 50:00Speaker 1: Lamas?
- 50:02Speaker 6: It's like yoga for pregnant ladies.
- 50:04Speaker 1: There's version for comedians too.
- 50:09Speaker 8: They have four Lamas classes in Edmonton.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, but you have to be wearing all.
- 50:16Speaker 6: Those shoes on the course arena.
- 50:20Speaker 8: Oh man.
- 50:21Speaker 1: They say that something like if you're if the baby
- 50:23Speaker 1: gets stuck. These days, they're like they basically suction cup
- 50:26Speaker 1: the top. They just make a plungerd. They just show them.
- 50:36Speaker 4: I would be like, bring the plunger in immediately. Let's
- 50:38Speaker 4: start with the plunger.
- 50:39Speaker 1: You'd be doing the plunging.
- 50:41Speaker 4: As the crowning is happening.
- 50:42Speaker 6: Just let's get this thing.
- 50:46Speaker 1: But they said it used to be like four steps.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Like the plunger is like the futuristic way. And they
- 50:50Speaker 1: used to just like clamp the sides of the head
- 50:52Speaker 1: and just like drag. The kids would lose ears and stuff.
- 50:57Speaker 5: But they but like you had c section like you
- 51:03Speaker 5: that you look like you're in a le crime scary.
- 51:07Speaker 1: You're like there's a tarp up like at one point,
- 51:10Speaker 1: like it was like a Saw movie because like a
- 51:13Speaker 1: blood splattered across the tarp, you're like battle wrapping the
- 51:18Speaker 1: doctor that you won't cut his full skin. Yeah.
- 51:27Speaker 4: I would definitely be top down thinking about it.
- 51:30Speaker 6: Nothing. I would be up.
- 51:33Speaker 1: We knew you were in the waiting room crushing call.
- 51:39Speaker 4: I always see videos uff like that. I feel like
- 51:41Speaker 4: that's like a recipe for the worst argument you've ever
- 51:43Speaker 4: been in. Playing Call of Duty while your child is
- 51:46Speaker 4: being born.
- 51:49Speaker 1: She's like, that's not good.
- 51:52Speaker 8: You're doing great. Thanks, No, I was talking to you
- 51:55Speaker 8: talking a little. She's on, are sorry? What were you
- 52:02Speaker 8: talking about.
- 52:04Speaker 1: It's crazy that there are a lot of videos of it,
- 52:06Speaker 1: but not only that dudes are doing it, but filming it. Yeah,
- 52:09Speaker 1: so imagine how many aren't even filming it. Yeah?
- 52:11Speaker 4: Is that like the Is that like when your wife's
- 52:14Speaker 4: in the hospital for a long time you bring the
- 52:16Speaker 4: console in?
- 52:16Speaker 1: Like bring the console in? Yeah, yeah, bring the console.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Can we unplug this monitor to see the base like
- 52:25Speaker 1: the heart rate?
- 52:26Speaker 7: It's like, no, but my guy's almost dying heart up there.
- 52:31Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 52:32Speaker 4: That also because always on just the TV, they got
- 52:35Speaker 4: one TV. Swapping out the TV for Call of Duty,
- 52:38Speaker 4: you gotta feel you got to know in the back
- 52:40Speaker 4: of your head.
- 52:41Speaker 7: How long was there idea roan, How long did you
- 52:44Speaker 7: take for what do they call it after you have
- 52:46Speaker 7: a kid?
- 52:47Speaker 1: Paternity there? Yeah, they said we could take I think
- 52:50Speaker 1: that you could take like four months here you can. Yeah,
- 52:54Speaker 1: like at barstool, you can take four months three kids
- 53:00Speaker 1: to be off for the rest of my life. I
- 53:03Speaker 1: took two weeks.
- 53:04Speaker 7: Yeah, the guy gets it. Guys get but I think
- 53:08Speaker 7: guys heat. I think guys catch a lot of heat
- 53:10Speaker 7: at certain.
- 53:11Speaker 6: Times to do with the company you're in and also
- 53:14Speaker 6: your state. Right, there's certain rural state to state Canada,
- 53:17Speaker 6: I think six months.
- 53:19Speaker 1: My wife got like five months and change, like almost
- 53:21Speaker 1: six months, which is yeah, it makes sense for you know,
- 53:25Speaker 1: she's at home taking care of them. But if like
- 53:28Speaker 1: imagine Dave, imagine if I took four months off like
- 53:31Speaker 1: he abused Smitty out of the company for like being
- 53:34Speaker 1: like daddy daycare. Like imagine if.
- 53:36Speaker 5: Like I would imagine your wife would be like, hey,
- 53:38Speaker 5: go back to what There's not much you can do
- 53:41Speaker 5: with an infant, like they're ship and eat and crying.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Yeah, or just like be like just getting arguments with
- 53:47Speaker 1: her wonder.
- 53:51Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, she got ship.
- 53:59Speaker 1: She wanted me to go back to work. For sure,
- 54:00Speaker 1: it's for the best. And by the time she's getting
- 54:02Speaker 1: back to work like she wanted to go back to work,
- 54:04Speaker 1: there's only so much you could do.
- 54:06Speaker 4: Imagine if you only took one month less than her, Yeah.
- 54:10Speaker 7: One more getting over the circle.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Coming back your work after your four month recovery.
- 54:16Speaker 1: There's guys that take the full time. Like there's like
- 54:18Speaker 1: we have guys on the tech team that are like
- 54:20Speaker 1: in the throes of it. They had their kid at
- 54:22Speaker 1: the same time as mine. They took like a month
- 54:23Speaker 1: up top. Now they're in like the three months. But
- 54:25Speaker 1: if you're not content, save it. You can break it up.
- 54:28Speaker 4: You can you can take what are you going to take?
- 54:30Speaker 4: Your extra threat?
- 54:31Speaker 8: Your two kids?
- 54:32Speaker 1: Do you get paid?
- 54:33Speaker 6: You got eight?
- 54:34Speaker 4: You got eight nine months?
- 54:36Speaker 1: You can get paid, Yeah, paid legally they're not a lot.
- 54:39Speaker 1: But I think like we're connected to ads, you know. Yeah,
- 54:42Speaker 1: you have to be.
- 54:42Speaker 8: Yeah, it's kind of what you kill or whatever. You
- 54:46Speaker 8: guys talk you Briz, you were talking about Harry banging
- 54:48Speaker 8: the karaoke girl. Yeah, I want to talk about for
- 54:51Speaker 8: a second, hockey players and their inquenchable thirst for women.
- 54:57Speaker 8: So in general, the single ones in my experience, the
- 55:02Speaker 8: hockey players that I knew in college and stuff like
- 55:05Speaker 8: that were just the absolute most thirsty, like un you know,
- 55:12Speaker 8: don't care who she is as long as she has
- 55:15Speaker 8: a pulse. Whatever situation you went to Harvard, do you
- 55:19Speaker 8: think do you think that hockey that's a fair description
- 55:24Speaker 8: or what league of sports would you say is has
- 55:27Speaker 8: the lowest?
- 55:30Speaker 6: So I think, like baseball players are on the road
- 55:33Speaker 6: for four for four days in the same city, I
- 55:36Speaker 6: would say I've heard distainable baseball players. I mean NFL
- 55:40Speaker 6: and basketball guys. They're thumping everything on the road, sure,
- 55:43Speaker 6: like everything.
- 55:44Speaker 4: I just think it has a lot of dudes into
- 55:46Speaker 4: the dudes. They're sneaking girls with the bubble.
- 55:52Speaker 5: More seasons in Atlanta, you see them just getting shuffled in.
- 55:55Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, there's a lot of them in the
- 55:57Speaker 6: lobby and they.
- 55:59Speaker 8: Come in through the like.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Exactly, yeah, exactly.
- 56:04Speaker 6: They Well, there's also a bar Margo down there. It's
- 56:08Speaker 6: on the third floor, so it's kind of attached to
- 56:10Speaker 6: the lobby, so they all kind of hang out in
- 56:11Speaker 6: there and and.
- 56:12Speaker 4: Then what they just come down when they just.
- 56:13Speaker 8: Gets the yod scene, but no table gets.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Put in front of them. It's just an enormous trojan.
- 56:27Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 6: Yeah. In the khl it's even more obvious where sometimes
- 56:31Speaker 6: they get to the Russian cities and you go to
- 56:33Speaker 6: the hotel and they'll be like a hundred of them
- 56:35Speaker 6: in the lobby like hookers. Those are pros, yeah, pros,
- 56:38Speaker 6: but they're cheap. They're like a hundred bucks and they
- 56:40Speaker 6: look they're nine and a half ten out of ten fembots.
- 56:43Speaker 1: So because is it because the town's like economy is
- 56:47Speaker 1: so dire that the best girls are going to like
- 56:51Speaker 1: try and make a buck that way.
- 56:52Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it's hard for them to make money. And
- 56:56Speaker 6: I think some of them at at a certain point
- 56:57Speaker 6: will fall in love, like one guy will fall in
- 56:59Speaker 6: love and the are so hot, so uh. I think
- 57:02Speaker 6: the one stipulation for even just like the regular civilian
- 57:05Speaker 6: girls for them to go like have sex the first
- 57:08Speaker 6: night is you just got to take them out to dinner.
- 57:10Speaker 6: They want to be fed, and then then you're gonna go.
- 57:13Speaker 6: But I just I just think it has a lot
- 57:15Speaker 6: to do with training from such a young age where
- 57:17Speaker 6: you're testosterone so high and you're this horn.
- 57:20Speaker 1: And it's all legs that you guys are doing. That's
- 57:22Speaker 1: what it's got to be.
- 57:25Speaker 8: Things that you don't realize they're funny, but a couple
- 57:28Speaker 8: of us.
- 57:29Speaker 6: Would you not.
- 57:30Speaker 8: They just want to be fed. That's the funniest thing
- 57:34Speaker 8: say about a hooker.
- 57:36Speaker 1: And he meant it.
- 57:38Speaker 6: Those are the girls who aren't even necessarily pros where
- 57:41Speaker 6: they're just like so hot. They want a nice warm
- 57:43Speaker 6: meal and then warm.
- 57:46Speaker 8: If it's sushi.
- 57:48Speaker 6: She's an orphan. Yeah, everybody listening, keep in mind, I've
- 57:55Speaker 6: never been to Russia like that. The only time I
- 57:57Speaker 6: went was under eighteen, so I haven't even seen this
- 57:59Speaker 6: with my own eyes. This is just guys from here
- 58:02Speaker 6: playing the cage I played in Russia.
- 58:03Speaker 7: Yeah, Like the lobbies would just be full of attractive
- 58:07Speaker 7: women and you're in like food.
- 58:10Speaker 6: Warm. It's my job, guys are food.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Guys are bringing down like the TV trays of like
- 58:17Speaker 1: TV dinners. I know you want to be fed.
- 58:19Speaker 8: And you're like, you know you're gonna get lukewarm. You're
- 58:21Speaker 8: not even that hot.
- 58:22Speaker 1: There's a hot pocket, real ugly one business like, here's
- 58:27Speaker 1: an incrustable.
- 58:31Speaker 6: You know me, I don't have any standards.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Just look for the skinniest one. What's going to fill
- 58:36Speaker 4: you up quick, she's will I got chicken in my
- 58:40Speaker 4: I not hungry.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I don't want to pay thirty bucks.
- 58:42Speaker 6: I got these peanuts and pretzels from the flight that.
- 58:47Speaker 6: But and then in most cases, like you can't even
- 58:50Speaker 6: communicate with them. You could just call down to the
- 58:53Speaker 6: lobby and see the one in the blue sent her up. Wow.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so the hotel's a medium. Well do you get.
- 59:01Speaker 4: What if you don't like her, can you send her
- 59:02Speaker 4: back down and say not that one?
- 59:04Speaker 6: Oh, they do different shade.
- 59:06Speaker 8: Like Target too much.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Get out of it.
- 59:09Speaker 6: Bring something back, like you didn't even buy it at Target,
- 59:16Speaker 6: but you just bring it back with the receipt and
- 59:17Speaker 6: they'll take.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Say you could have those sun chips.
- 59:23Speaker 6: I don't know how they keep the stock price so
- 59:25Speaker 6: high when people were returning ship. They didn't even buy there,
- 59:27Speaker 6: but they take it. Yeah. I think I think all
- 59:31Speaker 6: professional athletes are just really horny.
- 59:33Speaker 8: Sure, I think that's a thing.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Makes sense.
- 59:36Speaker 6: Yeah. From a young age, you're just you're you're all
- 59:38Speaker 6: the endorphins are pumping early.
- 59:40Speaker 8: You said you're low tea.
- 59:41Speaker 6: Now I'm load for you probably know I'm low te
- 59:44Speaker 6: I think a lot has to do with I think
- 59:47Speaker 6: concussions and maybe uh, weed consumption. I think they say
- 59:52Speaker 6: when you smoke a lot of weed, it lowers it.
- 59:54Speaker 6: I don't smoke as much as I was. Uh, and
- 59:57Speaker 6: then yeah, and then they have a shower in there.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: But and then and then I think when you sustain
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: a lot of concussions at naturally lowers where you're maybe
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: just not in that mental space.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: And I think you're good. I think you'll be I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: think you're all right with it.
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm starting more as I get older, to get
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: my blood taken and know what's going on diet wise.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: You know what you're lowing as far as vitamins and stuff.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: It sucks when you hit a certain age you don't
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: have the natural energy that you once did, even when
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: like how you could recuperate at twenty five, When you
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: go and get fucked up from drinking the next day,
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: even though you're maybe have a little bit of the
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: booze blues like boom, you're right back at it where
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: Oh if I got drunk, now that's why I don't drink.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And then kids and then kids, Yeah you're done.
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: So Yeah, you.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Just can't drink anymore. Yeah, you like can't be hung
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: over with kids.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: What would you say the highlight of going to a
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: place like Harvard for university is like what are the
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: coolest elements of it? And what are the low lights
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: of it?
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: I mean, I would say the sound corny as hell,
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: but I worked really hard to actually have cool classes.
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: And the knock on Harvard is that they're hugely over enrolled,
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: like lectures, and you don't have much sort of you
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: don't have a relationship with the professors because there's like
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: four hundred kids in the class, and then you break
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: off into what are called sections once a week, which
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: are taught by grad students like teaching fellows, and that
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: that's really where you have your interaction. But there was
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: a lottery system where you could apply for seminars and
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: like once a semester, these huge hot shot celebrity professors
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: who are like the leading thought people in their field
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: of economics or social studies or whatever would offer a
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: twelve kid seminar. So it's only twelve slots, and you'd
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: a lottery into them. And I would gain the system
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: by like writing them an email being like I've been
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: following your work some bullshit, and I would always get
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: into these and so I took one with this guy,
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: Robert Putnam, who his whole thing is about the decline
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: of community in America. And however, since like the nineteen fifties,
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: as people started wanting more space and moved out into
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: the suburbs than American neighborhood kind of fell apart because
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: it used to be that like everyone left their doors
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: open and be like you wander over that your kids
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: are in our place for dinner, and like, you know,
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: you're just the whole street.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: And hello and shit, yeah now I'm yeah driving, yeah.
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: Exactly, and that like once a week men would be
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: in a bowling league and or you'd go to the
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: Elks Lodge, or you'd go to the Veterans Club or
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: the Rotary club or like church groups. And you know,
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: as America has become more secular, people have moved away
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: from religion, but that used to be the place that
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: everyone gathered. Ronan, We've talked about this, right, it takes
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: a village that, Yeah.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: I agree with that. I kind of feel maybe that
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: lacking a little bit my life. I live in Scottsdale,
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: and it's so big where I would consider moving to
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: a place, Like I've talked to a Jackson Hole because
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: it's small, fifteen thousand people, but just yeah, sense of community.
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: Everyone knows each other, you know, you wave to each other.
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: Yeah, and I think that's your neighbor from milk or yeah. Yeah.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: And there used to be things called like third places,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: where like it's not your home and it's not your work,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: but it's another place where you can safely just go
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: and like spend some time that's not like you're not
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: getting fucked up at a.
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: Bar, yeah, gather a place to gather. And that this
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: was really good for tying like the fabric of society
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: together and it sort of fell apart obviously the Internet,
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: people spending hours playing video games whatever. And this guy
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: wrote the whole theory on this. His name is Robert Putnam,
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: and he had a seminar that he taught at his
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: house and it was like he'd sit in this swivel
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: chair in front of his fire. We'd had the fire
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: going and then the red the whole class would be
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: on like a couch like this, and we would have
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: read his work for the week, and then he would
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: like grill us on his own work and he would
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: play Devil's Advocate theoretically against himself to see if we
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: could debate him. And then halfway through the class he
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: enjoyed this. His wife would come out with a tray
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: of cookies and tea. And it was just like a
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: class that you saw in like the universities in America
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: and like the eighteen hundreds or like the early nineteen
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: hundreds that you didn't think existed anymore. And I had that.
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: I had a lot of those types of experiences. The
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: classes were really cool.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: That sounds so different from my college.
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: Yeah, well just in it kind of it whoa Harvard?
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: Is it reading comprehension? When you read something and like
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: digest it, so kind of test that too, right, keeps
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: your skill sharp.
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: Yeah, it's so funny. People like knock me in. They're like,
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: can you imagine going to Harvard only to work at barstool.
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: It's like, I can't draw a more direct line between
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: the education I had and what I do now. You know,
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: I literally write blogs. I'm helping Dave write his book.
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: I was an English minor, like writing was what I
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: wrote so many fucking term papers and so did so
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: much research. And that's what I do for a living now,
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: you know, communicating stand up all this stuff. It was
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: like I had a college experience that prepared me for
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: the work that I do.
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: It didn't prepare prepare you though, for Like would you
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: call it the Court of minihan or like the Military
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: Academy of Minhesanah like that stuff you didn't.
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: That would have been the lacrosse team where Sean Witstt
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: would try to break my finger because you know I
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: couldn't hand clean two sixty five or whatever. He would push.
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: I'd see it coming. We'd be doing a groundball drill
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: and he would push the other guys out of the
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: way to go to the front of the line to
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: match up against me. You know, it's like here goes
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: my pinky.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Like a senior when you were a freshman. Yeah, did
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: he do it? Are your fingers kind of gnarl?
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: This one's broken?
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Yeah? From him?
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: Ross?
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: Who would who would you say the smartest or most
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: influential person while you were going to Harvard? Like, where
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: is that person gone?
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Barstool Facebook? It's Riggs.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, hey, there's another example a guy who
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: like you, also makes the streets smart totally.
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: I mean I was good friends with and in I
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: was in a basically a frat with first of all,
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: Killer Colaurin, who obviously he's done pretty well. But then
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: in his class also when it was like small, it's
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: only twenty kids per class in our thing was Will
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: Ahmed who found it whoop. Oh yeah yeah, really good dude. Obviously,
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: I mean I think they're worth like four bill now
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: that's COVID it was even higher. But like, I don't know,
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: I have a few friends that are and not those
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: are my friends. And then I would say outside of that,
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: you know, you have people that have just like murdered
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: it and fucking private equity and find can.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: You say when you and your friends do like your
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: like when you guys get launched, like some of your
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: friends like fly in and then fly out.
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: Uh, I don't know that I would say that necessarily.
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: I do have a friend that lives in Switzerland, but
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: like he wouldn't.
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: Like I mean like a jet they got a jet.
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: No, I don't really have jet friends. I don't really
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: have jet friends. The best yeah, epis maybe in a
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: couple of years, but like we're not. I don't think
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: we're anyone's there yet that I know.
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: I know a kid from Harvard, awesome dude played hockey there,
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: Dave McDonald and he's in the same club that we
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: were in, and this kid like signed it. I think
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: he got like two hundred and fifty grand from the
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: Sharks or whatever, and he's in the AHL and he
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: was just like what am I doing and gave the
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: signing bonus back And now I believe like has his
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: own fun in Switzerland like is killing him.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: So like, that's a guy who you know. I think
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: him getting into.
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: Harvard just for hockey like obviously changed his entire life
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: because I feel like, so my nephew is there now
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: he plays football, and it's one of those things like, dude,
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: you can set up your entire life networking at this
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: school if you do it smart.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: How how what percentage do you think are like geniuses?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: And how what percent are like pretty smart and great networkers?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: And then what are like not smart at all?
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: I was athletes, I would say, yeah, I would say
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: like eighty percent of the school is like was the
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: single smartest kid in their fucking high school or maybe
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: even their village in China?
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: And how many?
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: And then the rest are athletes and uh, people who
- 1:08:21Speaker 8: were like legacies are extremely like there, yeah, they have
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: like a library.
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: Yeah, where'd you go? SaaS?
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: I went to de Paul four years? Did all four?
- 1:08:29Speaker 10: No?
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I dropped out, dropped out here, I went for like
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: six no way and just new I don't need any
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: of this for what I wanted to know.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: No, I got hired here and I dropped out?
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: What we What were you hired for here? Like just
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: like as an intern or like as a content maker?
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: Content?
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Really? How do they find you?
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: Uh? Me?
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: KB have known each other for a while from Twitter?
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: He was huge on Twitter.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I was bigger on Twitter when.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I got hired. And you don't even really do it
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: much anymore, do you?
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: But it was a different It was like a different
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: kind of it was like having a big It was
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: like if you ran one of those like Instagram accounts
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: that just posts memes.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you're writing jokes, but it's the same payoff
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: going viral.
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: Yeah what were you? Were you just like kind of
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: commenting on current events with your quick whips and jokes.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: No, it was just like it's like Twitter is very
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: like it's like a formula, like it's all just trends
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: and dumb ship But so do you pick up on it?
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: And then you just he's very self deprecating about what
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: he built on Twitter. The truth is if everyone, if
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: it were that easy for everyone, then everyone would do it.
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: I still think you deserve a lot of credit for
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: like this. Fucking yeah, it was definitely. Underlying context of
- 1:09:43Speaker 8: this is that he doesn't use this Twitter account anymore.
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: He helps out of a boy not only promote that,
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: but his own stand up career in himself.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Yeah, why you got burnt out basically from it or
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: it's so different.
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: It was just the thing with that Twitter account was
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: like it was there was an expectation, which is not
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: fun for Twitter at all. Like if I tweeted, tweeted
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: like yeah, if I tweeted like come see me in
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: this city, I would lose like a thousand followers.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: They're not looking for It.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: Wasn't like a loyal fan, Like now I can tweet
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: whatever I want.
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: Yeah, because he created a different account.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: You still have the other account. Yeah, how many followers
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: does that have?
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: I think it's got like four hundred and twenty now.
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: And just so you almost should do like it had
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: one a month, just like a banger from there, you know.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: And then I tried that for a while and then
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: I got to a point where I was like, I
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: don't this doesn't matter, Like it's the account that I
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: have now has similar engagement to that account.
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: Also, because do you want like more of a challenge
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: as you've gotten older?
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: No, I think I just wanted like a space on
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: Twitter where I could just tweet anything rather than having
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: to be like a funny joke like now I can
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: just tweet about football.
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: When you got hired here, like were you doing acting?
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: Had you already started stand up at that point? No, neither.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: I started stand up pretty close to after I started here.
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: And then did you know before you were hired here
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: that eventually you were going to do something and then
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: get on stage. Yeah?
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I always knew I was going to do stand up.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: I want to do stand up in Chicago. But then
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: I got sent home from from COVID.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: What was your first stand up story? Like? What was that?
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: Can you go through the night?
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean we were living in I was living
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: in Hell's kitchen with Owen and two other dudes that
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: work here or one.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Left but punchline the N word No, no, no, I
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: thought it was no.
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: I don't no, I don't have any M word bits
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: I wish, but no.
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: That's not me.
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: This is like a first game story, right.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: I have always wondered, like you ever watch you ever
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: watched like one of those Louis bits and you're like,
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: do you think he was like shitting his pants the
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: night that he was like, I'm going to give this
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: one a try, because he's got.
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: Like a multiple.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I think that was the point of comedy, Like before
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: it was things changed like to say, I don't think
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: anything outrageous.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: I think that's like his style is to like dig
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: himself into a hole of like dirty material.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: But like our most comedian off in the N word
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: on stage, Yeah.
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: White comedians doing that currently, No, no, no, no.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I was sitting there, I'd be like, what the whoa whoa,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: whoa whoa whoa.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: Whoa Wait, dude, if you listen to like an old
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Louis album now and like that bad words joke comes up,
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: You're caught You're caught off.
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: Guard, or that Edward made the ship out of my cop.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah that one.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: You're like, whoa, but he you know, he he was.
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: I don't know, like he had the wherewithal to close
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: that joke out by being like the guy wasn't even black.
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: It was just a white guy. Yeah, just the thought
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: that crept into.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: His head as they were booing and like no they
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: were but like you never you listen to any I
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: listened to a lot of comics podcasts.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: They they hold him to like the highest problem everyone.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: He's like, it's like him Chappelle. Yeah, my Clay is
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: another one that everyone always talks about that they love
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: those old Yeah.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: Yeah, ever seen Dice is old? Like MSG, Yeah, what
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: did you say? Is like, uh, it's like his intro
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: he's talking about New York and he's like ass parties every.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Night of the week. He's got the outfit to he's
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: smoking the sea.
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: You're your first one? Where was it? You said it
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: was Hell's Kitchen?
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: Yeah it was.
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: It was this club called the Producer's Lounge.
- 1:13:29Speaker 8: That was the first place you ever did stand up?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: I mean it's a big room, right, No.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Oh, there's two rooms. They have like an actual room
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: and they have their Okay, the one room is the
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: size of this carpet.
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: I was gonna say the one I did there, I
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: feel like had uh had like yeah, like the round
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: tables or something. No, okay, you know what do you
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: know the Playboy club up there.
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: Yes, you're thinking of your club us with that uh
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: professor fireplace wife bringing open the milk.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: No, this place is a real dump. But I got
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: I did. I drank two tall Boy uh seltzers and
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: then I walked over and I drank two more beers
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: before going up, and then I went up and I
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: think I got like one laugh and I left and
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: I was like, I fucking killed. I left and I
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: was like, they were easy.
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: Probably stand up anymore.
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: I got.
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: I'm finished with that.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: I guess I mastered this now. I actually think I
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: did another mic that night. I went to Brooklyn and.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Did that's how you were feeling yourself?
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: That's good?
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: Bombed there?
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: Yeah, finish?
- 1:14:51Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: What uh? What year was that? Was that right after COVID?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: This was during this was like in COVID, this was
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: when we we just started some of a Boy Dead.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: So do you still drink before you go on? No?
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: I don't drink at all?
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: Okay, Yeah, So that was that you just felt like
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: that would loosen the up and how long?
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: That was a problem for a while because then I
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: was like, I can't go up without drinking.
- 1:15:14Speaker 8: Do you smoke?
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: Before going on stage. Yeah, I would be getting air
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: lifted off of the stage.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: But there's gotta be comics. They do fantast right or
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: oh yeah, have you ever done that?
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: I have?
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: Well, did it go well?
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Nope?
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: I mean I can't even imagine how Yeah.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: No, no, did you do you smoke before any of
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: the battles?
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: No?
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: He didn't even you said you didn't even drink like
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: days before.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: That's the time. The two times that I fucked up,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: it was because I was so hungover, like I was
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: bombed out in like the whatever city, like Toronto one
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: time and like London the other time. And I was
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: like doing the ship perfect, like drunk out of my mind,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: like all the other battlers are loving it. And then
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: the day of you're so hungover you can't even like.
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: I would not. Yeah, we didn't play guilty. That wasn't
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: really a thing that we did. We'd wait to after
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: the game to get after it.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Oh really I did one time New York guilty.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: We're never playing guilty, but sometimes if you were in
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: a slump or something, the coach would be like, hey,
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: you should play guilty tomorrow. Remember Tip would do that
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: to Donor if he was struggling and this guy didn't drink. Dude,
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: go send one tonight.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: Really. Yeah, there was not one time in the NHL
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: where I, if I knew I was playing, I went
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: out and drank. I would never go.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: There was one time I did it.
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: That was it, dude.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I was I was playing fourth line forward for like
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: five games, but I was a defenseman, so I was
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: only in the lineup to play in the power play.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: And I was like, this is not good.
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: And we played the Rangers at home at noon in Pittsburgh,
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: and then we flew to New York and Bunso was here,
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: one of our best buddies lived here, and I'm like, well,
- 1:16:48Speaker 7: I'm playing forward, like I'm playing five minutes. And then
- 1:16:51Speaker 7: when I'm out on the ice for the power play,
- 1:16:52Speaker 7: I'm just like, here, you go acrossby a tough gig.
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: So we went out.
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: I ended up sleeping on his couch and the game
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: was at three o'clock the next day, and I woke
- 1:17:02Speaker 7: up and I was hurting, and I went to the
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: rink and I saw that I was back on defense
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: on the second pair. I was like, oh my god,
- 1:17:11Speaker 7: oh my god, oh my god. And I did warm ups.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I felt horrible.
- 1:17:14Speaker 7: I puked after warm ups and I was like, this
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: is I can't believe this is happening, Like I'm probably
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: done now. And I played like twenty one minutes and
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: had like an unbelievable game.
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: Yeah. So sometimes when you play guilty and then I
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: as a defenseman, you feel a little loose and yeah,
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: you're snapping around.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: And I put on all those shoes and we went
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: on again.
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: Some guys like they would, like you say it was
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: a crutch to them where they had to go out
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: the night before. I get banged up. But when you're
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: an athlete, it takes its toll on you and well,
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: just as I would a comedian, but more so physically
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: for an athlete.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: But yeah, I was not when I say I was
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: going up ship faced too, I'm not really hung over.
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: Yeah I was, yeah, yeah, Wow.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: I was on stage like I don't even know what's
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: going dude. That was I stopped drinking. Was because I
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: would I would go up and I would be like, man,
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: I just fucking killed dude, and then I would be
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: like texting the manager of the club, like you gotta
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: get me those tapes. Those are going online tomorrow morning.
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: And then I'll get the tapes and I would just
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: be bombing and I would be laughing to myself on
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: stage like I'm I'm mopping the floor with.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: These yeah, no way, oh yeah, that banged up. Well.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: I mean because I would go to I would have
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: shows all night.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: So you started home.
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: One hundred and sixty pounds, two tall.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Boys seltzers too tall, that's four selters to start.
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: And then but in the NHL they have so we
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: have morning skates, so you skate in the morning. And
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: that used to be for guys to sweat it out. Yes, nowadays,
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: like that's why they're kind of going. Not a lot
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: of teams do them anymore because guys aren't going.
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: When I came into the league, there was veterans who
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: would like I remember Marc andre Fleury had to take
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: a guy's bag up off the bus flying to New York.
- 1:18:53Speaker 7: Bus pulls in Manhattan and then you go up check in. Well,
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: he'd be like, flurry, take my bag, and then the
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: guy would say it's three clock. He'd come home at
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: midnight one in the morning.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Like that was like guys did it. Like they'd go
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: to a bar and then they go to a dinner
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and they go to a bar after and now guys
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: are just dialed.
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: Guys bring their video games and ship.
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: Yeah, a lot of guys don't don't even drink.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I would be shocked.
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: You'd have beers on the flight home and like a
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: lot of teams almost get rid of that. I don't
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: know if that's for sure still the case, but I
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: do know guys will take like an edible before flight
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: home after a game, no game the next day as opposed,
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: which is way better for your body than having.
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: Eight years was there was there a period where marijuana
- 1:19:34Speaker 8: if it was detected, Yeah, you guys would get in
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: big trouble for you.
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: What would happen And I don't know what the story
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: is now or the case now. You'd get randomly drug
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: tested and then if you had failed something like nobody
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: knew but you.
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: Yeah, they would call you for party stuff.
- 1:19:50Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: If it was steroids, you're so, they would just call
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: you and say, hey, do you have you got a problem.
- 1:19:58Speaker 7: And no matter what you said, that event up. They
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: could show up for the next six months or twelve
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: months anywhere. I'm talking off season, coming to your house
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: at nine pm. If you'd already been busted for something,
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: and then if you've got if you failed that one,
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: you were you were suspended for Like.
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: I never heard of anybody who, if they were doing it,
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: getting suspended for it because they kept doing it. It
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: wasn't like the NFL. I think that was when they
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: viewed as like, this guy's not really harming anyone. He's
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: just yeah, he's not cheating, he's picking poison. As far
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: as he doesn't want to do booze, maybe it helps
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: him sleep at night. We don't give a fuck. And
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: then for the coke, ecstasy, the technology as I call it,
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: the harder drugs, that's where they would if they saw
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: it once, they'd be like, okay, well we obviously don't
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: want our players doing coke or ecstasy, so they'd reach out,
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: do we have a problem if you then test the
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: positive again for it, if they were testing you, which
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: they would have, uh, then I think that they they
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: kind of tell you, hey, we're going to put you
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: in the program. We're not going to tell anybody, we're
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: going to protect you, and then they would help them out.
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: That's what's cool, Like you went through it. I've had buddies,
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: but I like they didn't like, all of a sudden
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: you're in the media because you were doing coke. That
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: wouldn't help the situation. All of a sudden you have
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: another thing coming at yet or.
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: They didn't and the team not knowing, because then the
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: GM could be like, I'm getting rid of it. You
- 1:21:19Speaker 7: protected the players that one time.
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: You actually pretty cools. Yeah, it's really nice.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Was it ever a painkiller like problem in the league, Yeah,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: that was. I think that that's probably I don't know.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I sense that pain killers aren't nearly an issue as
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: like they used to be, considering everyone now knows like,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: you have one, you could be dead, right, But like then,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I think a lot of guys like Biz.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: Were right, No, so I not you. I'm saying like fighters, yes, yes,
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: great point, Yeah, a lot of fighters.
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: Derek Buguard bog I read the whole long expos on him. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: and you know, but wasn't his fault at all.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: It was like, no, I mean the fact you were
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: getting those it's crazy. I mean, that's every sport.
- 1:21:59Speaker 8: But that wasn't mean as much as there's been so
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: many shows made about Purdue Pharma and all that, and
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: it's like, well, you almost don't even blame the doctors either,
- 1:22:06Speaker 8: because they were being told that these are saying, I know,
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: miracle drug and all that.
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: And now if you're being given them, it's being tracked,
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: so everybody's aware how many you're getting. Where they'd be like, well,
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: your injury's done, and no, unless they were trying to get.
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: Wouldn't even else they wouldn't even send you home with
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: like a full bottle. It'd be like, you're getting that.
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: Even ambient ambien now like we would get We could go,
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: I could go get thirty ambient like three times a
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: month there were, and now they give it. They give
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: you one for that night if you do want one,
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: So they've everything's changed so much since like the lockout
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: of two thousand and five. I think that was the
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: beginning of like a lot of stuff changing.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: With drugs, I guess.
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: But now the league'shumming leagues and such a league like
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: NHL right now. I mean, you guys aren't really NHL fans,
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: but for us, we notice it getting bigger.
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: I like it. Yeah, seven, when we do a game
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: a week ago, did you they they put you in
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: the jumbo? No, I.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Would have liked that. Flagging down cameras.
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: Francis sitting commercial get arrested trying to get in the
- 1:23:19Speaker 7: green room and MSG it's like ship Francis.
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: Francis sells eat seafood towers at his desk. No, I
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: was at the Rangers opener against the pens Okay, which
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: they had these new jerseys that were pretty cool.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they are sick, dude. If it's getting bigger, it's
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: it's solely because of you guys. You're the reason that
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: I don't get that they have it.
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: They definitely have. I agree with you wrong. They have
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: a very big hand in the.
- 1:23:46Speaker 7: I don't think that we've had anything to do with
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: the game getting better. I do think having like certain
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: current players come on and kind of open up. Which
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: current players come on and sometimes they're kind of quiet
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: and I get it, But then some guys are like, like,
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: all of a sudden, there's a fan base that knew
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: nothing about that guy that now is like, holy shit,
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: he's pretty funny, or like he had a couple of
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: good stories that wasn't really around before we started.
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: No, yeah, I'll see you like even showing your personality
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: through whether it's clothing or what you drive. Like when
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: we came in the league. If you had a nice
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: car when you were young, guys would put it on blocks,
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: Like the fucking it was bad that you couldn't wear
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: nice suit. Everyone wore a black suit or a fucking
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: gray suit. Nowadays you see guys showing up, so you
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: see in guys' personalities come out, which I think they've
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: done a huge part of that which has helped grow
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: the game.
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: Make it a little bit more socially acceptable. I think
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: that we talked about like the drug stuff and cleaning
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: up like every aspect of behind the scenes as well
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: as you know, these guys taking care of themselves more
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: so the product, and also Gary Bettman making it like
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: a hard cap system where there's more parody, where everybody
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: really has a chance to win. They've made it really
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: easy for us to talk about it because I agree
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: with him and him like the product of the game
- 1:24:59Speaker 6: is ever been better, but yeah, it's been fun. Like
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: I like, I like interviewing the old school guys to
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: hear about even crazier stories that we did, Like we
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: talk about playing Guilty. Those are the guys who are
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: playing Guilty and and this, and like they're telling these
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: old school stories where your jaws on the floor, like
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: you even got the play in the league after you did.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: That, Like thinking of the league without cell phones.
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: God, Like, just.
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: Thinking of that now, like where the guys are, Hey
- 1:25:24Speaker 7: meet at this bar at six and then like there's
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: no pictures being there's nothing.
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: More more guys in the locker room smoking who don't
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: so in the locker room between periods, guys are all
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: just ripping. They can think about that and to get
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: guys on who lived in that era. It's that's been
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: one of the if not the most fun part for
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: us long form interview, sitting down with old school throwbacks.
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: But now we're back to doing two pods and and
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: when is this coming out? This podcast? Well, I mean,
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: so as ours and we're announcing like Ra's coming back.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: So we got two shows a week, so we're gonna
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: have like an r Land or As World on the
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: Friday back half portion where you know, he gets to
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: talk whatever he wants to do and and and so
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: it's cool. We've yeah, We've we've got a lot of
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: good things coming. And that's one thing I wanted to mention,
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: just because he's been such a big part of it,
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: and obviously the last year has been difficult, but we
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: got things sorted out, and uh, we definitely have a
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: whack pack.
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: Yeah, I have an Ara story, but I don't know
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: if it's something you'd want me to tell.
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: Yah, we've seen a lot of it.
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: If you could shock us with anything, But I'm saying
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: it's a try.
- 1:26:30Speaker 8: It includes he's been in rehab, that's been open, right.
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: We sent him to a ranch.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: It was the Bunch. That's a different story.
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: Yeah, we've.
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: Well a guy with him and lamorrow to luck. This
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: guy had his jugular cut by a skate. Yeah, years
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: and years ago, and it's just like he's had this
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: you know, struggle with life and he's ended up becoming
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: like a big influence on people who are trying to
- 1:26:59Speaker 7: get at sober and because he had some big problems
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: after what he went through and he has this ranch now.
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: So we interviewed him in Vegas and that was kind
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: of as right as Ari was in the plastic dog
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: collar on the ice with the Stanley Cup Champions, probably
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: the you know, the highest point in terms of like
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: being a disaster.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: And so we were like, all right, you're gonna go.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: I think it's a good idea.
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: I think he was there for like two weeks therefore, and.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: He was like, this isn't really for me.
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: It's like okay, I guess all right.
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: Yeah he's a character, like he's one of a kind,
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: and you you know, we we all got our flaws
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: and we love him. Yeah, what's I want to hear
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: the story?
- 1:27:42Speaker 8: Now, I'll tell it and we can cut it if
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: it's not some of you think. So I did a
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: show with Donnie after I got back from China where
- 1:27:51Speaker 8: we were just kind of like doing almost like a
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: press tour, just three spots, uh two, And we went
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: to Laft Boston and it was probably a Tuesday night
- 1:28:01Speaker 8: or something, and we did the show and then Ari
- 1:28:03Speaker 8: came to the show, and afterwards we had kind of
- 1:28:05Speaker 8: like a watch party. It was Patriots like opening game,
- 1:28:09Speaker 8: and he was getting banged up with us and all that.
- 1:28:11Speaker 8: And then I was like, yo, dude, I'm gonna go
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: to bed. Uh uh. We're going to Philly tomorrow morning
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: early like whatever. And he's like, oh, you staying in
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: the hotel and I'm like yeah, yeah yeah, and he's
- 1:28:21Speaker 8: like okay, goes, come on, let's hang I'm like okay.
- 1:28:24Speaker 8: So he comes up to my room and he sits.
- 1:28:28Speaker 8: Donnie and I were sharing a room and Donnie stayed
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: down with the fans and was like drinking stuff. And
- 1:28:33Speaker 8: so he sits on Donnie's bed. I'm like brushing my teeth,
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: like getting ready for I get ready. I literally get
- 1:28:42Speaker 8: into my bed and he is on the opposite bed,
- 1:28:46Speaker 8: just lining up lines on the on the bedside table
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: between us, and he's like, I'm like, no, I literally
- 1:28:54Speaker 8: brushed my mouth guard and like I.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Was just putting a breathe. Right, He's like, help me
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: get out. I'm let me get one.
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: That's the part for.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Me that is a good idea, good idea, Yeah, actually
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: give me two.
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: Hey, the part for me that I'll I mean, I
- 1:29:20Speaker 7: hopefully I'm alive and fifty years I'll laugh at this.
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: He goes on the ice that that Stanley Cup final game,
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: Panthers whin.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: He's crippled. He's got the dog necklace on the choker.
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: The ko chuks are just they're just get away from me, right,
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: And we're going to we go to Vegas right after
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: this for the draft, and our first show in Vegas
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: is going to be is going to be like you know,
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: going over the Stanley Cup ending the Panthers winning, and
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: also like, all right, we got to address like this
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: thing's gone viral, like a fake plastic diamond and rusted.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Gold dog collar on your neck.
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: He forgot the one. He forgot the one guy's name
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: who he was interviewing, and.
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: The Chucks are all over him. So I'm like, oh man,
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: you know it's gonna be tough from apologizing. He knows
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: thea Chuck's real well, and so we sit down and
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: I bring it up and kind of tee him up
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: for just an apology that everyone's expecting.
- 1:30:09Speaker 8: He's like pooh. He hammers him right back.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: He's like that Lyon I talked to that family. Ye wrong.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, he's doubling down.
- 1:30:21Speaker 8: He had no voice. We got macol celebrity coming on.
- 1:30:24Speaker 8: I'm like.
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: So then, so then we think, like the party's over
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: because we know we just finished the award show and
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: we have basically our last show. Now we're heading to what.
- 1:30:35Speaker 8: Free Agency, yes and and.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: Kind of what what who wanted the awards And we think, okay,
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: at this point, he's going to take a knee. Well,
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: we have our last final dinner and his drug dealer
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: shows up for dinner, and then he stays in Vegas
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: for two three more nights and then we're back. Then
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: we were having Sam and Pizza's one hundred and ten
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: degrees and he got us to the table outside.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: He ordered the table Vegas. How'd you get us this?
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: Take off the pay?
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Hey? So the trip ends. The trip ends, and he uh.
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: We're driving to the airport, Me, Buz and a r
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: A and we're like, hey, dude, like we talked to Clint, like,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: you know, I think it's time to take like a
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: step back here what we're figuring out.
- 1:31:20Speaker 7: And he's like, yeah, yeah, no, I know, I don't
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: know about Clint. I think I know what I'm gonna do, though.
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: I'm just gonna relax. I'm gonna get out of Boston.
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: I'm gonna figure everything out. I'm like, where are you
- 1:31:29Speaker 7: gonna go? He's like, I'm gonna come back to Vegas.
- 1:31:31Speaker 8: I'm like no. I looked at im.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: And he's like, no, I mknocking on the strip.
- 1:31:40Speaker 8: I'm like no, dude.
- 1:31:41Speaker 15: No, Oh my god's and now also that next show's outline,
- 1:31:50Speaker 15: so like we're like probably four or five days removed
- 1:31:53Speaker 15: when everything should be back to normal.
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: He's taken me now and there was two sentences on
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: the outline I figure and he was in charge of it.
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: So that was kind of like, all right, I think
- 1:32:01Speaker 6: this run's over.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: We're gonna get a reset.
- 1:32:04Speaker 6: We're gonna have a reset and welcome back to the
- 1:32:07Speaker 6: fucking warhog man.
- 1:32:08Speaker 7: I'll tell you, Yeah, he's the best, the best, because
- 1:32:12Speaker 7: a lot of people have been saying, you know, like
- 1:32:13Speaker 7: where's it. Why aren't you guys like telling us what's
- 1:32:16Speaker 7: going on the whole time we were just kind of
- 1:32:18Speaker 7: like figuring it all out.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought we just like booted him. No, we
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: were not. We would never just boot somebody, like we're
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: like a family on our shoes, are super loyal. Yeah,
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: giving him hol right, and I like we got to
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: give him space. He started the he started the thing
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: like it was.
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: So we're excited now because now he has his own
- 1:32:35Speaker 7: little segment on the Friday episode at the end of
- 1:32:38Speaker 7: us just discussing what's going on, and I can't wait.
- 1:32:41Speaker 7: I mean there'll be clips for sure.
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: And also I think about maybe shutting it down doing
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: what we're doing around you know, maybe forty eight fifty
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: years old, like he's fifty, so to like be doing
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: traveling and doing all this stuff along with some of
- 1:32:54Speaker 6: the fun stuff like it's it's hard man. So yeah,
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: we'll get what fourteen month reset and and now the
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: now he's got his own little happy land.
- 1:33:01Speaker 7: We were in Buffalo once we got there for Chickle
- 1:33:04Speaker 7: Top and we're ed. We're sitting there and we're with
- 1:33:08Speaker 7: Kevin Adams. He's the GM of the Sabers and he.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Had come in a little late now, earlier in this
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: night had met some.
- 1:33:16Speaker 16: Indiduoussous Natives and they had this they had this weed
- 1:33:22Speaker 16: and they all right, And I was like, I'm good,
- 1:33:23Speaker 16: and Alri's like yeah, I'm like, dude, that stuff like
- 1:33:26Speaker 16: that's gonna ripple you.
- 1:33:28Speaker 7: And I saw him ten minutes after. I'm like, oh boy,
- 1:33:30Speaker 7: here we go. So the night goes on.
- 1:33:32Speaker 8: He's drinking twenty big and.
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: We're yeah, he's getting these Cadillac margarita's right at a
- 1:33:37Speaker 7: speakeasy attached to the bar we did the appearance at.
- 1:33:40Speaker 7: There's this little speakeasy like hidden, and Kevin Adams comes
- 1:33:44Speaker 7: up the GM and we're sitting there. We're talking them
- 1:33:46Speaker 7: right like, hey, how's the season gonna go? You guys
- 1:33:48Speaker 7: have been struggling and.
- 1:33:49Speaker 6: Like asking him serious questions.
- 1:33:50Speaker 7: I look over and Alri is just passed out at
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: the bar. He kind of wakes up and I'm like, dude,
- 1:33:56Speaker 7: And then the wage like Cadillac Margarita and she's like okay.
- 1:34:00Speaker 7: I'm like, whoa whoa Buffalo's like yeah, sure, Adams just
- 1:34:06Speaker 7: like who's that?
- 1:34:07Speaker 8: Oh that's all right. I'm like this is crazy.
- 1:34:10Speaker 6: But then he joined the conversation and he was trying
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: to ask some questions and he's sitting there like it's
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: are standing there like it's mortal combat, and he's got
- 1:34:18Speaker 6: his fucking and you just like this guy's going to
- 1:34:29Speaker 6: shake his hand with all the swash off after asking
- 1:34:33Speaker 6: him a three hour question mumbling.
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: But I'm excited because now like he'll bring stuff and
- 1:34:38Speaker 7: he'll say he has opinions on everything, and a lot
- 1:34:41Speaker 7: of times like they don't really align, you know, necessarily,
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: like what actually shouldn't say that they He has some
- 1:34:46Speaker 7: things that make total sense. And then there's times that
- 1:34:49Speaker 7: he was like mad at a fan who paid a
- 1:34:51Speaker 7: parking ticket for Brad Marshaan, like it drove him nuts,
- 1:34:54Speaker 7: and I was.
- 1:34:55Speaker 8: Like, why are you so mad about this?
- 1:34:56Speaker 7: Like that those are the things are a brings that
- 1:34:58Speaker 7: you can never see coming to calm.
- 1:35:00Speaker 8: So yeah, in that in that hotel room, he uh,
- 1:35:06Speaker 8: he didn't leave for two and a half hours.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: I thought you were going to say weeks.
- 1:35:10Speaker 8: And I got to a point where I actually turned
- 1:35:13Speaker 8: over to face the wall and he was just talking
- 1:35:17Speaker 8: at my bare back and doing more and more coke.
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: And I would fade in and out of sleep and
- 1:35:23Speaker 8: I would wake up to you last Rob with the
- 1:35:27Speaker 8: hockey and rod for and I'm like, am I awake
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: or dead? And then you'd hear like a you know,
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: it's just kind of ripping it, like I'm not. I
- 1:35:39Speaker 8: didn't say a word for two and he never stopped
- 1:35:43Speaker 8: having a conversation with me.
- 1:35:45Speaker 6: How did it eventually end?
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: Didn't he?
- 1:35:47Speaker 8: I don't know. I don't know at some point.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: Morning time or I bet Donnie came up and like
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Donnie can go too, so he probably just might have
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: been probably corralled a mountains.
- 1:35:59Speaker 8: I I don't know what how the night ended for them.
- 1:36:04Speaker 8: I just know that, Yeah, when at some point it
- 1:36:06Speaker 8: got quiet.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean, dude, you can go parties, parties.
- 1:36:12Speaker 6: Yeah, social cues not so much.
- 1:36:14Speaker 5: That's fine.
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: I'm pretty sure everyone, I'm pretty sure he was doing
- 1:36:17Speaker 8: coke off the standard issue bible that you get for
- 1:36:21Speaker 8: each hotel, because they had one of those black leather
- 1:36:24Speaker 8: covers so you can see it better.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: Were therefore honestly, Yeah, how do we top that? You
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: really can't? Thank you guys so much for coming.
- 1:36:32Speaker 8: First live show.
