- 0:44Good morning and welcome to Half-Faith, Let It Begin. I'm your host, Angel Santana.
- 0:49And today I want to talk to you about something that every one of us has faced.
- 0:54That in-between space between a prayer and an answer.
- 0:57That uncomfortable, quiet season where we ask, God, when? It's called waiting.
- 1:04And if we're honest, none of us like it. I can remember a time when I was praying.
- 1:10Praying for something so hard, it felt like I was knocking on heaven's door. day after day.
- 1:16It could have been a job, healing for a loved one, or even direction for the next step in ministry.
- 1:23And when the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months,
- 1:27I started wondering, God, did you forget about me?
- 1:31You ever been there when it feels like heaven's gone quiet?
- 1:35In Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31, it says, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
- 1:47They shall mount up with wings as eagles.
- 1:52Notice that doesn't say if you wait, but when you wait.
- 1:57That's what always throws me off because waiting isn't a punishment. It's a preparation.
- 2:03Maybe God's saying, not yet, because the blessing isn't ready.
- 2:08Or maybe you're not ready for the blessings.
- 2:12I think about Joseph, betrayed, imprisoned, forgotten, yet all that waiting
- 2:19was shaping him for leadership.
- 2:23Or even Abraham, waiting for a promise that seemed impossible.
- 2:29God wasn't withholding the promise. He was building the person.
- 2:33So when you're in a season of waiting, remember, God's silence doesn't mean his absence.
- 2:42Sometimes he's just working behind the scenes.
- 2:46There was a time, I'll never forget this, when I was waiting for clarity in my life.
- 2:51I felt like God had forgotten. Well, more like I felt like God had given me
- 2:56a dream, right? but the doors weren't opening.
- 3:00And in that waiting, I got frustrated. I tried to force things to happen my way.
- 3:06And every time it fell apart.
- 3:10And it wasn't until I stopped striving and started surrendering that I realized
- 3:18waiting isn't wasted when you trust the one you're waiting on.
- 3:24When I finally let go and I said, Lord, your will, not mine,
- 3:29everything started to change.
- 3:31Not because God moved faster, but because my heart slowed down long enough to listen.
- 3:38So maybe you're listening today, and you're waiting on healing,
- 3:42waiting on a new beginning, waiting for the pain to make sense.
- 3:47I want you to know, God hasn't forgotten you. He's not late. He's on time.
- 3:54His time. Waiting isn't easy, but you're not waiting alone.
- 4:00The God who parted the sea, the God who raised the dead, is the same God who's
- 4:06holding your tomorrow and working all things for your good, even when you can't see it yet.
- 4:14Think about that today. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for the reminder
- 4:20that waiting isn't wasted.
- 4:22Help us to trust you, even when we don't understand your timing.
- 4:27Renew our strength today. for the listeners who feels weary, give them peace.
- 4:35For the ones who feels forgotten, remind them you're near.
- 4:40We place our plans, our dreams, and our hearts in your hands.
- 4:45In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
- 4:48So my half-faith letter begin family, don't rush the process.
- 4:52The wait might just be the place where God is doing his best work with you and work within you.
- 5:02And always, as always, never forget the importance of the fact that you matter and never forget.
- 5:11Have faith. Let it begin.
- 5:14Have faith.
- 5:19Let it begin.
