- 0:24Speaker 2: confess whatever, get that secret off your chest. I don't
- 0:27Speaker 2: care what it is, and you got one.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Bring it well, nice secret slashed. Dilemma is that, okay, Well,
- 0:35Speaker 1: let me tell you that I am a transitioned female.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Before in a male, and I've transitioned into being a female,
- 0:44Speaker 1: and I got to say I've never been happier. I'm
- 0:46Speaker 1: very proud of who I am. I'm proud of my story.
- 0:51Speaker 1: My dilemma is that no one even suspects that I'm
- 0:56Speaker 1: trans I have straight men come up to me all
- 0:59Speaker 1: the time. They hit on me. It happens when I
- 1:03Speaker 1: go out, it happens when I'm.
- 1:04Speaker 3: On the street.
- 1:05Speaker 1: And my secret is that I have a rule that
- 1:08Speaker 1: I don't announce to anybody unless it's a male who
- 1:14Speaker 1: comes up to me and ask me on a date. Specifically,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't tell them that I'm trans. It's just weird
- 1:21Speaker 1: to just be like, hey, actually i'm trans, you know,
- 1:25Speaker 1: like right when they're just holding a door open for
- 1:27Speaker 1: me or something like that doesn't make sense.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, no, I mean I get that, like you're saying, so, okay,
- 1:33Speaker 2: let me let me put you in a scenario right now.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Say let's say you're out, you're out with whoever, and
- 1:39Speaker 2: a guy comes up to you and he's like hey,
- 1:41Speaker 2: and he starts conversation like men do when they're trying
- 1:44Speaker 2: to maybe engage with, you know, somebody, and he says, hey,
- 1:47Speaker 2: can I buy you a drink? You don't automatically say hey,
- 1:51Speaker 2: just let you know I'm trans.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I do not know. That's like, I will
- 1:57Speaker 1: let him buy me a drink, I'll let him talk
- 1:59Speaker 1: to me. I'll let him buy my friend's drink. You know,
- 2:03Speaker 1: that's not a personal you know, we're not we're not
- 2:05Speaker 1: really relating on a personal level, you know, And therefore
- 2:10Speaker 1: I don't think it's like, I don't think it's the
- 2:12Speaker 1: problem to just what it be. You know, we just
- 2:15Speaker 1: are who we are. But I do know that some
- 2:18Speaker 1: people get really offended that I don't say it right away,
- 2:21Speaker 1: like as soon as a guy comes up to me,
- 2:23Speaker 1: which I think is weird. I don't think that's necessary.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, And obviously I'm not in your position.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I'm trying to think about how that would work. And
- 2:29Speaker 2: you're right, it is very It's it's personal, and of
- 2:32Speaker 2: course it would kind of I don't know, it wouldn't
- 2:34Speaker 2: make sense to blurt out right away, right, I mean.
- 2:37Speaker 4: You're not blurting out anything at that point, right.
- 2:40Speaker 2: It's just so your name. Yeah, you don't know anything yet,
- 2:43Speaker 2: so you wouldn't be like, hey, just to let you know,
- 2:45Speaker 2: I trans do you still want to buy me that
- 2:47Speaker 2: Voctor cran right, you know like that.
- 2:53Speaker 3: But I do understand, but I get it right.
- 2:55Speaker 2: But on the other side of things, I do understand
- 2:58Speaker 2: how some that he could think you're leading him down
- 3:02Speaker 2: a path.
- 3:03Speaker 4: They might not right because what is their intention for
- 3:06Speaker 4: buying you a drink?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Right? Being nice?
- 3:08Speaker 2: But that's why I think it's Well, you said your
- 3:11Speaker 2: rule is or you have a rule, you don't tell
- 3:13Speaker 2: him and when do you tell him?
- 3:14Speaker 1: Then if they if they ask me on a date,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know, okay, if they ask you know, they ask
- 3:20Speaker 1: for my number, they asked to take date. That is
- 3:24Speaker 1: when I'm like, hey, by the way, you know, I
- 3:27Speaker 1: do even have friends that think I'm wrong for you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: flowing the rule on announcing you know, my identity, you know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: full out until it goes kind of like to the
- 3:37Speaker 1: next level. But otherwise, the way I see it is
- 3:40Speaker 1: even if we're conversing or buying me drinks or buy
- 3:43Speaker 1: my friends drinks and they're not asking me for a date,
- 3:46Speaker 1: my thought is they're enjoying my company either way, So
- 3:49Speaker 1: who cares, you know.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I mean it's like people buy drinks for
- 3:53Speaker 4: people all the time that leads to nowhere or nobody
- 3:56Speaker 4: exchanges numbers.
- 3:57Speaker 5: But most most guys in a bar setting is they're
- 4:00Speaker 5: doing it with the intention of moving to the next level,
- 4:03Speaker 5: like I'm trying to get your numb.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I guess you could not accept them
- 4:06Speaker 4: if you but who knows what people want?
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. Maybe he's trying to buy you
- 4:11Speaker 2: a drink because he thinks your friend's cute, or he
- 4:13Speaker 2: just wants to talk to a bunch of a group
- 4:15Speaker 2: of girls. I definitely a delicate situation. I could see why.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And it's also to a safety thing, like you don't
- 4:21Speaker 2: want to unfortunately, it's a safety thing. You don't want
- 4:24Speaker 2: to put yourself in a situation where somebody's gonna get angry.
- 4:27Speaker 2: But I mean I do like I think you're telling
- 4:30Speaker 2: him at a point where there is a fork in
- 4:33Speaker 2: the road.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, I agree. I'm going to tell you honestly,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you would never.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Know really who.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I bet you would both h on me. I mean,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I'm not talking about regards of what you're like. Really,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you know, if you're into chicks and you just saw me,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you would absolutely you know, you would engage and you
- 4:53Speaker 1: wouldn't think twice about it.
- 4:54Speaker 3: And so I agree with you.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It is a protection thing not to announce right from
- 4:59Speaker 1: the jump.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I don't know about blurting it out, but I mean
- 5:02Speaker 5: I think you should at least. I mean, I've been
- 5:06Speaker 5: I'll laugh, I've been somewhere and the guy has hit
- 5:08Speaker 5: on me and I'd be like, hey, I'm sorry. You
- 5:11Speaker 5: know a guy, Yeah, a guy has offered to buy
- 5:14Speaker 5: me a drink, and I'm like.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Okay, well cool. You know you know, first of all,
- 5:18Speaker 2: I know the stories a lite because you wouldn't turn
- 5:19Speaker 2: down to drink.
- 5:21Speaker 5: I'm not trying to leave the brother on. I was
- 5:23Speaker 5: just like, thank you, man, but you know I'm in
- 5:25Speaker 5: the women.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Well, how do you know he was into you like that?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Maybe he was just being nice. No, normal dude is
- 5:30Speaker 2: just gonna come up I button guys that drink you have,
- 5:34Speaker 2: seriously just come up to him and be like, hey,
- 5:36Speaker 2: no about your drink. No, there'd probably be a situation
- 5:38Speaker 2: like I met people at the bar and I'm like, oh,
- 5:40Speaker 2: this guy's cool. I met a matter of fact, the
- 5:41Speaker 2: other day, there was a guy and a girl in
- 5:43Speaker 2: a group and I was like, I'll give you guys
- 5:44Speaker 2: a drink. You want to drink, bro, And he's like yeah, sure.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I wasn't trying to hook up with them, right, but
- 5:48Speaker 2: I knew this dude.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Was like I knew okay, And my friend was like,
- 5:52Speaker 5: oh my god, I think he likes you.
- 5:53Speaker 2: You know that type thing. So did you guys go
- 5:55Speaker 2: out or no? I'm asking so when do you when
- 5:58Speaker 2: would you think you would want her to say something?
- 6:01Speaker 3: Then?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Well, I just think, you know, maybe tell them hey,
- 6:04Speaker 5: before we even get any further.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Oh, come on, why not? That feels it feels so
- 6:09Speaker 2: weird to open up at.
- 6:09Speaker 4: The bar ask for your number. Then, you know, like
- 6:13Speaker 4: I would probably want to be upfront at that point, yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 4: before exchanging it.
- 6:17Speaker 5: But like the first so I saw it, then bought
- 6:19Speaker 5: you like five shots, and then ask for your number, by.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The way, and then then that happens a lot, no
- 6:25Speaker 2: matter what the situation is.
- 6:27Speaker 5: But then but then she's gonna tell me and then
- 6:29Speaker 5: it could turn out bad. I'm just saying it for
- 6:31Speaker 5: her protection. So you walk up to her.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And you say, hey, can I buy you a drink?
- 6:36Speaker 2: And you want her immediately to be like, hey, I'm trans.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Yeah, hey before I don't know what your intentions are,
- 6:41Speaker 5: but like, before we go any further, I need to
- 6:44Speaker 5: let you know.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Okay, I'm not saying you're wrong.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I don't know there's other people who would feel the same.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, no, this is one of the most unique
- 6:51Speaker 2: secrets we've had in a while. And I think if
- 6:54Speaker 2: anybody wants to call up and talk about it, great.
- 6:56Speaker 2: If this has happened to you, do you ever have
- 6:57Speaker 2: a situation where guys get angry or is it usually
- 7:00Speaker 2: pretty cool when you do tell them.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I've definitely experienced some hostility, but not like overtly, thank goodness,
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's just been more like their whole demeanor changes. It's
- 7:14Speaker 1: just like a pivot sex please, you know, kind of
- 7:18Speaker 1: like bounce out like. So it is a dilemma for sure,
- 7:21Speaker 1: but it's one that I feel. I'm glad that I
- 7:23Speaker 1: got to communicate with.
- 7:24Speaker 2: No, I'm glad you didn't. I think it's it's good
- 7:26Speaker 2: to talk about because I don't think you know, it's
- 7:29Speaker 2: one of those things that you never think you're it's
- 7:31Speaker 2: gonna happen, and if it does, you don't want to
- 7:34Speaker 2: react in a bad way or an angry way. It's
- 7:37Speaker 2: just like move on then, you know, okay, thanks, cool,
- 7:40Speaker 2: move on. You shouldn't feel any way about it. To me,
- 7:42Speaker 2: it's like, if that's what you're not into, that's you're
- 7:44Speaker 2: not into it, that's fine, that's okay, it's not your thing,
- 7:47Speaker 2: then you move on. But you shouldn't be, you know,
- 7:49Speaker 2: condemned for what you do or how you live, and
- 7:51Speaker 2: as long as you're happy. So, but I'm interested to
- 7:54Speaker 2: see what people have to say and then and see
- 7:56Speaker 2: what they think. But I appreciate you calling. Thank you
- 7:58Speaker 2: so much.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Thank you have a good one you too, Wow.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Good dirty Little Secrets Deep one eight three three seven
- 8:05Speaker 2: eight seven one oh Daily the Kid Candislowpas producer who
- 8:07Speaker 2: we had somebody call in who is well? She transitioned
- 8:11Speaker 2: to a female and she doesn't tell a guy that.
- 8:14Speaker 2: If a guy walks up buys her drinking a bar,
- 8:16Speaker 2: She's like, I don't say it right away. If my
- 8:19Speaker 2: rule is if they ask me out on a date, yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 2: then I will say, hey, this is what's going on.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Otherwise I don't just blurt it out. And some of
- 8:27Speaker 2: her friends, she says, don't even agree with that, but
- 8:30Speaker 2: you know a lot of calls Shannon, what do you think?
- 8:32Speaker 3: I agree. I think it's the same situation. If I
- 8:36Speaker 3: approach somebody, you know, I'm buying them drinks and when
- 8:38Speaker 3: I ask for their number, they say no, thank you.
- 8:41Speaker 3: You know, as long as they're upfront after you know
- 8:44Speaker 3: I'm asking for a date, I'm trying to take it further.
- 8:46Speaker 3: For me, that is the only opportunity where she needs
- 8:49Speaker 3: to stay anything.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I think that's fair and guys shouldn't be so upset
- 8:52Speaker 2: if they feel like trick or deceived. It's not that
- 8:55Speaker 2: big of a deal.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It's okay, whatever, it's yeah, absolutely it should be all right.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Thank you for the time. You know, I'm not getting
- 9:01Speaker 3: invested right now. Let me move on my shot somewhere else.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I agree, Shannon, I got the same attitude as you,
- 9:06Speaker 2: so I appreciate that. Well, thank you for calling, of course,
- 9:09Speaker 2: thanks for having me on. You have a good one.
- 9:10Speaker 2: See Sarah and Dan. What's up, Sarah? What do you think? Well,
- 9:14Speaker 2: good morning morning.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I think she's right. All your personal business did not
- 9:19Speaker 1: be thrown out just because somebody wants to buy you
- 9:23Speaker 1: adoring now maybe five or six in sure, maybe.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Right, like post get upset about it, but like pooh,
- 9:31Speaker 2: you're not even buying her top shelf liquor anyway.
- 9:33Speaker 5: I'm just saying no, I feel like the wool has
- 9:37Speaker 5: been pulled over over my ales or whatever, you know
- 9:39Speaker 5: what I mean. I feel like she's hiding it, Like
- 9:42Speaker 5: just be upfront.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Like some people don't want to date someone with kids,
- 9:45Speaker 4: would you just be like one drink, I got their.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Kids exactly, I'll talk about my kids. No, what's the
- 9:50Speaker 2: first drink? I mean, if a girl comes up to
- 9:54Speaker 2: me and talks to me. Yeah, she asked me. She goes, so,
- 9:57Speaker 2: do you have no but no, but she doesn't ask you.
- 10:00Speaker 2: You wouldn't just blurt out I have three kids in
- 10:01Speaker 2: the baby mama.
- 10:02Speaker 4: No.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I know that.
- 10:03Speaker 5: But most people in conversation, they'd be like, so what
- 10:05Speaker 5: do you do?
- 10:06Speaker 2: YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Well, I'm a single dad three that's what that's off
- 10:09Speaker 5: the top.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I saw what you do though, Okay, I don't know
- 10:12Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Some people, like in conversation, they're gonna ask you, hey,
- 10:15Speaker 5: what do you do for a living?
- 10:16Speaker 2: Oh, I do this. I snore in my sleep. Okay,
- 10:19Speaker 2: thank you, Sarah. I appreciate all this infos. She's gonna
