New Trail Opens on Canfield Mountain | Spokane News
Fresh dirt pavement just hit Canfield Mountain—3.2 miles of brand-new trail built for hikers and mountain bikers, officially opened in early July after a ribbon-cutting. This two-way, rolling path connects the Canfield Course to Trail 29 on public land, thanks to a collaborative effort by the Forest Service, Lake City Trail Alliance, and Northern Rockies Trail Project. Construction wrapped in just two months after months of planning and environmental reviews.
