- 0:00Speaker 1: Income tax cuts kicking for us today, ninety four percent
- 0:04Speaker 1: of us will get a few extra bucks. Will it
- 0:06Speaker 1: be swallowed up by your mortgage or your insurance going
- 0:09Speaker 1: up or your rates? Probably? But better we get the
- 0:12Speaker 1: money and decide what to do with it than the politicians. Right. Also,
- 0:16Speaker 1: today MPs gets their first pay rise since twenty seventeen,
- 0:20Speaker 1: and watched closely watch those particularly who shout the loudest
- 0:25Speaker 1: about equality and fairness and justice and all those good things.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Do they put their money where their mouth is? Today?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Chris Luxen for his sins, and I assume it's to
- 0:34Speaker 1: stave off the inevitable media storm about he's raightch He's right,
- 0:38Speaker 1: He's got seven houses. He has promised to donate his
- 0:41Speaker 1: full tax cut twenty bucks a week to charity. Also
- 0:45Speaker 1: the increase in his pay to charity Hipkins. What's happening
- 0:49Speaker 1: over at labor HQ. Well, Labor has apparently emailed their

- 1:00Speaker 1: to labor. Yes, take your tax cut and give it
- 1:04Speaker 1: to labor to quote, really help create the better future
- 1:08Speaker 1: alter our needs? Shameless and what about the Greens. Where
- 1:12Speaker 1: do they stand on this? What gesture are they making?
- 1:15Speaker 1: By their own estimates, they are the wealthy elite. Many
- 1:18Speaker 1: of them own homes. They are on salaries of more
- 1:20Speaker 1: than one hundred and seventy thousand bucks a year. They're
- 1:22Speaker 1: getting a close to three percent pay rise backdated to
- 1:26Speaker 1: last October, I might add, and Chloe Swarbrick, as the
- 1:30Speaker 1: co leader, will now get a nice bump to her
- 1:32Speaker 1: salary for that too. She'll be on well over two
- 1:34Speaker 1: hundred k. Where are the pledges to donate, Madam and
- 1:38Speaker 1: Chloe itel? Where are they? These tax cuts, according to
- 1:43Speaker 1: you guys, are cruel and dangerous and a national disgrace.
- 1:48Speaker 1: They benefit the wealthy elites. So the question is what
