- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, guys, welcome back to Wise Cracks. Bill Krackenberger, John
- 0:02Speaker 1: Orlando over here at the fabulous Westgates super Book. John,
- 0:06Speaker 1: I'm coming in with a head full of steam that
- 0:08Speaker 1: I have to be honest, because I just found out
- 0:11Speaker 1: about this ring of people going around Las Vegas that
- 0:15Speaker 1: are feeding cell phones to someone that's selling him overseas.
- 0:20Speaker 1: He wraps them in tinfoil and so they can't transmit,
- 0:23Speaker 1: you can't use to find my iPhone, right, And he's
- 0:26Speaker 1: sending them overseas to China because that there's a big
- 0:28Speaker 1: secondary market in China of iPhones and phones in general.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Like I say that word China. I don't know why.
- 0:35Speaker 1: But anyway, there's a ring of thieves that's working and
- 0:40Speaker 1: this is unbelievable story, guys, this is unbelievable. So he
- 0:44Speaker 1: gets all the hustlers and the casinos that are checking
- 0:46Speaker 1: the machines. I call him the sour Ruterers. But there's
- 0:50Speaker 1: this contingent of European hustlers. They're like meth heads. You'll
- 0:54Speaker 1: just see him on the strip. I noticed them about
- 0:56Speaker 1: a year ago. They popped up out of nowhere and
- 0:58Speaker 1: they're just like you can just that they're on drugs.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And but they're going around checking for machines and the
- 1:04Speaker 1: bonus machines that are getting ready to hit. And all
- 1:08Speaker 1: of a sudden, now there now the new, the new
- 1:11Speaker 1: hustle is finding cell phones. You know, it's a black
- 1:14Speaker 1: cell phone left on a machine. And now they're finding
- 1:18Speaker 1: the cell phones. And that's the thing. Turn it off
- 1:21Speaker 1: right away. They actually had this. This guy has like tinfoil.
- 1:25Speaker 1: He gives them to wrap them the tinfoil and meet
- 1:28Speaker 1: him out in the parking lot and he gives them
- 1:29Speaker 1: like fifty bucks. So this is sick that this is
- 1:31Speaker 1: going on more than just Vegas. But you're part of
- 1:34Speaker 1: the team. What ten years ago, I knew you were
- 1:37Speaker 1: doing a lot of things good.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Ten years ago, I'm in this exact hotel. Oh, they
- 1:42Speaker 2: used to have a in this sports book. Remember the
- 1:45Speaker 2: horse race?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah little horse? Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Okay, So I'm playing that machine and I leave my
- 1:52Speaker 2: phone on the machine right there, right where you put
- 1:56Speaker 2: the money in and stuff. Yeah, yeah, I realized that
- 1:59Speaker 2: ten minutes fifteen minutes later, I'm like, oh my god,
- 2:01Speaker 2: I'm with my buddy. So we call my number right
- 2:05Speaker 2: and this girl answers and I said, hey, did you
- 2:08Speaker 2: find my phone, you know, can I meet up with you?
- 2:10Speaker 2: I'm still are you still at Westgate? She goes, are
- 2:13Speaker 2: you paying a reward?
- 2:15Speaker 3: And I say yes, I go yeah, yeah, sure yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 2: She's like three hundred bucks. I'm like, okay, yeah. She's like,
- 2:22Speaker 2: I'm at Circus Circus. It literally it took our Like
- 2:24Speaker 2: I guess that's right there, really right.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Not really from west Gate right, like it's right, yes,
- 2:29Speaker 1: it's deceiving.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 2: So I run over to Circus. He drives me over
- 2:34Speaker 2: to Circus Circus and I jump out and I've got
- 2:37Speaker 2: his phone, you know. So I'm on the phone with her.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So she's like, I'll beat you right out front. You
- 2:42Speaker 2: know you got the money. I go, yeah, I got
- 2:44Speaker 2: the money. So I put my buddy's phone in his pocket,
- 2:47Speaker 2: so I got both my hands free, and h I
- 2:50Speaker 2: see her and I'm like, let me see the phone.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And I just fucking snatched the phone, right, And she goes, oh.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I'm gonna get my man, my man. I go, okay,
- 2:59Speaker 3: I'll want I wait, I said, I'll wait get him.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead, I'll get him. And that's that's that's
- 3:05Speaker 1: their job, that's their job. But now this is even more,
- 3:08Speaker 1: you know, unique and clever. Yeah, you know they're they're
- 3:11Speaker 1: selling them overseas. It's just uh but yeah, so.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I I just it makes sense.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's a thousand dollars phone, right, the iPhone whatever, Right, So.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I just get mad when I when I when I
- 3:21Speaker 1: hear these things and these things. But yeah, no before
- 3:25Speaker 1: I say anything else, you know one of the guys
- 3:27Speaker 1: that that are in productions, and make sure you tell
- 3:29Speaker 1: people to like and subscribe. I'm terrible at that. I
- 3:31Speaker 1: go once without saying that. I just figure you're gonna
- 3:34Speaker 1: like and subscribe Automnica. Yeah, definitely. And if you like
- 3:36Speaker 1: the videos we do, I'm sure you guys do it.
- 3:38Speaker 3: It helps a lot.
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's a pretty good comments. I really didn't didn't didn't
- 3:41Speaker 1: really think of it like that.
- 3:42Speaker 3: But we've been getting great comments.
- 3:44Speaker 1: We have John Boris Becker, Yes, so he is. It
- 3:49Speaker 1: was like one of the number one players in Wimbledon.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I didn't even know the German tennis legend.
- 3:55Speaker 3: It's definitely ranked number one for a while.
- 3:57Speaker 1: It's been locked up in a UK prison and then
- 4:00Speaker 1: up owing money to hardened criminals who made his life. Hell,
- 4:04Speaker 1: why let me just tell you. First off, he was
- 4:07Speaker 1: a spokesman by the way, for Poker Stars Poker Stars International,
- 4:14Speaker 1: he was an ambassador. But yeah, so now he's playing
- 4:17Speaker 1: poker in jail. He went to jail though for multiple reasons. Though,
- 4:23Speaker 1: but he's poker in jail. He used to go back
- 4:29Speaker 1: to that it was some kind of bankruptcy. He was
- 4:31Speaker 1: in bankruptcy, and I mean they really didn't disclose to
- 4:35Speaker 1: quartz things. It's like tax fraud something. But now he
- 4:39Speaker 1: goes to jail and he decides to play poker with
- 4:42Speaker 1: these and it says Romanians, So I don't know. The
- 4:45Speaker 1: Romanians supposed to.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Be a bed sounding choice. The group of.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Romanian prisoners that lasted for several days. When the dust settled,
- 4:53Speaker 1: the former three time Wibbleton champ ended up owning them
- 4:56Speaker 1: a ton of money. So now prison in prison. So
- 5:00Speaker 1: and it even said that might it might not seem
- 5:02Speaker 1: like a lot of money compared to a guy that
- 5:04Speaker 1: was worth multiple millions, but it's a lot of money
- 5:06Speaker 1: in prison when you have nothing. Sure, So he had
- 5:08Speaker 1: to call one of his friends. Thank god that he
- 5:11Speaker 1: said that. Thank god he called an outside friend to
- 5:14Speaker 1: pay the debt via a money transfer on the outside.
- 5:17Speaker 1: If that hadn't happened, he thinks he would be a
- 5:20Speaker 1: different person today. Really may have beat him up, threatened him.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I just found he's still in jail now.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I think he's out. Now he's going to be writing
- 5:26Speaker 1: a book, The Sad Story. To go to some play different,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you know, we go to different places, different countries. Here
- 5:33Speaker 1: to go to some one of the casinos I really
- 5:35Speaker 1: enjoyed going to. When I was living I might have
- 5:40Speaker 1: been actually living at home. I would have been like
- 5:42Speaker 1: twenty maybe not though whenever they whenever Tunica first opens,
- 5:46Speaker 1: it might have been nineteen ninety or something. You know,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I was like twenty years old. I'm living home my parents,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and my dad and mom wanted to go to I
- 5:55Speaker 1: want to go to. I remember them say they wanted
- 5:56Speaker 1: to go to Tunica, and they wanted to go I
- 5:58Speaker 1: wanted to go to Graceland. So I just yeah, one
- 6:01Speaker 1: of them. I think there was some of them like that.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I think Isle of Capri or something.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know down at the boat
- 6:07Speaker 1: in Biloxi they have those brands. But Tunica is up by,
- 6:11Speaker 1: it's up by Missus. But you fly at the Memphis
- 6:13Speaker 1: and it's thirty miles yep. So so I always remember
- 6:16Speaker 1: my dad and mom said they want to go to
- 6:17Speaker 1: the Graceland. Sure enough, a couple of years later, when
- 6:20Speaker 1: I met Frank started making money, yep, and I said
- 6:22Speaker 1: I want to take them. So sure enough I winded
- 6:24Speaker 1: up taking them. Finally, in like five years later, wind
- 6:27Speaker 1: up to take I said, you guys want to go
- 6:28Speaker 1: to see Grace left, We're going to go incredible. Took
- 6:30Speaker 1: them the Graceland, took them to Memphis, took them the Graceland,
- 6:33Speaker 1: took them in Tunica. I liked Tunica. It's a little
- 6:36Speaker 1: country bumpkin play. I loved it though. I thought it
- 6:38Speaker 1: was great. But all these casinos. We stayed at the
- 6:42Speaker 1: Grand Casinos. It was called Beautiful Grand, right Grand. It's
- 6:45Speaker 1: a beautiful place.
- 6:46Speaker 3: We worked there with my dad. Really yeah, that's I
- 6:49Speaker 3: just couldn't remember.
- 6:49Speaker 1: They closed. They started closing them, one after one after one.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It's a real poor area, real poor. So now I
- 6:56Speaker 1: know they still had some really cool casinos though, like
- 6:59Speaker 1: over at the Horseshoe and Sam'stown in a different area
- 7:03Speaker 1: of Tunica, they weren't all clumped together like Las Vegas.
- 7:05Speaker 1: You gotta drive a little bit. I remember it was
- 7:08Speaker 1: the summer just ended. It was like September like now.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It was hot, a little bit humid, mosquitoes everywhere. But
- 7:15Speaker 1: I remember we had a great time. My aunt and
- 7:16Speaker 1: my uncle came with us from the Bronx. They came
- 7:19Speaker 1: with us, and it was just a great time. And
- 7:21Speaker 1: just to see all these casinos closing. Now Sam'stown Tunica
- 7:25Speaker 1: is now closing in November, I'm like wow, because that
- 7:28Speaker 1: was the busier area where look at the size.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Of the place, like I know there was Sam's Town.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Samstown Tunica like.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Our Sam'stown here.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yes, it just just just because it declined significantly over
- 7:38Speaker 1: the years, just that these these places, like it's hard
- 7:42Speaker 1: to believe casinos would close because the casinos always make
- 7:45Speaker 1: the micable, you know, no matter what, through any recessions,
- 7:49Speaker 1: through anything at all, the casinos it's a recession proof business,
- 7:53Speaker 1: is what it is. You know, people get desperate to
- 7:55Speaker 1: pay for things, they go gamble. Gambling's worse than drinking
- 7:58Speaker 1: and drugs. It's just it's that bad. But the impact
- 8:01Speaker 1: of gambling is immediate, Like Matt Boyer said to us,
- 8:04Speaker 1: it's immediate, like drinking and drugs will take a time.
- 8:07Speaker 1: This is immediate on you you know, you know anyway,
- 8:10Speaker 1: So I just thought that was that was like wow,
- 8:13Speaker 1: like I can't believe that that they're closing already. I
- 8:17Speaker 1: just did.
- 8:17Speaker 2: There's so many of those little cities that we used
- 8:19Speaker 2: to work, like Boser City.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Oh see, you're working.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Right, yeah right, Nica.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah. So in New York they had their first two
- 8:30Speaker 1: billion with a B two billion. By the way, New
- 8:33Speaker 1: York sports betting capital of the United States.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Doubles say that again.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Doubles out of the second second closure. State is the
- 8:40Speaker 1: sports betting capital by far state, you know, at first
- 8:45Speaker 1: in May of but thinking about by the way, it's
- 8:49Speaker 1: not New York City going to a casino betting, right,
- 8:53Speaker 1: it's the apps. And then they're like state, they're like
- 8:56Speaker 1: all around the state, the States giants one of the
- 8:58Speaker 1: biggest states. I mean, they're so it's not people going,
- 9:01Speaker 1: it's those apps. It's ninety five percent of the people
- 9:03Speaker 1: on the apps. So it actually grew five percent from
- 9:06Speaker 1: the year earlier of like one point nine billion, two
- 9:10Speaker 1: point zero four billion wagered on sports handle holding nine percent.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, any casino in this town
- 9:18Speaker 1: that held nine percent, they would they would give every
- 9:21Speaker 1: employee bonuses. I mean literally, back in the day, two
- 9:24Speaker 1: three percent was a great hit. Hold. Now if you
- 9:26Speaker 1: get a four percent, five percent, hold, it's it's party time, right,
- 9:30Speaker 1: nine percent held on New York. It just it's amazing
- 9:35Speaker 1: the gambling that goes on in New York. This is
- 9:37Speaker 1: just sports betting. By the way, if you go to
- 9:39Speaker 1: the casino casinos have killed them too, because they have
- 9:42Speaker 1: these little casinos everywhere, and they're not little, they're actually big.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They're everywhere. And so Bill, then let me ask you,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I can't believe these numbers in New York.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Not that I agree with this narrative that's all over
- 9:53Speaker 2: the internet with the Vegas is dead, but is this
- 9:56Speaker 2: part of the reason why Vegas is dead?
- 9:59Speaker 1: Is only as part of it is all of these
- 10:02Speaker 1: states that have gambling now, right, because even if they're
- 10:06Speaker 1: they're gambling on sports there, they're going broke there, they're
- 10:09Speaker 1: ruining their trip three months from now, four months from there,
- 10:12Speaker 1: let's skip that till next year we'll have money again. Yes, yes,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and in an indirect way, which could be a direct way,
- 10:19Speaker 1: I should say, yeah, even though it's at the time
- 10:22Speaker 1: the losing on an app then you know, you're I've
- 10:24Speaker 1: heard people cancel their trips. So yeah, so like but yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 1: March Madness is still big here. The super Bowl is
- 10:29Speaker 1: still big here. But yeah, that that I just found
- 10:32Speaker 1: that unbelievable. It is that. And then we want speaking
- 10:36Speaker 1: of which now not that I speak of that New York.
- 10:40Speaker 1: This is This is in New York. A seventy one
- 10:43Speaker 1: year old man who won at Jake's fifty eight, which
- 10:46Speaker 1: is in Long Island. Which look at the size of
- 10:48Speaker 1: the place. This is Long Island, New York. Like you
- 10:51Speaker 1: wouldn't think the casino. I heard of it, but I
- 10:53Speaker 1: never knew it was that big giant casino in Long Island.
- 10:58Speaker 1: This guy assaulted in the park a lot by a
- 11:00Speaker 1: twenty four year old gets beat up robbery victim in
- 11:04Speaker 1: the parking lot. Luckily enough, the guy that robbed him
- 11:08Speaker 1: grabbed it and ran. As he was only thirty bucks,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but he knew from following in the casino that he
- 11:13Speaker 1: want a lot more money than that. He came back
- 11:15Speaker 1: to assault him a second time. Now, by that time
- 11:18Speaker 1: two people got involved in the parking lot. They actually
- 11:21Speaker 1: arrested the guy and here we go, this is they
- 11:25Speaker 1: charged him. This is New York New York, baby, keep
- 11:28Speaker 1: that government going. Third degree robbery they charged him with, which,
- 11:34Speaker 1: believe it or not, is a sentence of probation in
- 11:38Speaker 1: New York. Come on, I mean third degree pretty sentence
- 11:41Speaker 1: was a reserved for repeat offenders or those who have
- 11:45Speaker 1: a prior felony connection over the last ten years. But
- 11:48Speaker 1: they did find the guy and they arrested him, and
- 11:52Speaker 1: I just it's a joke.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You saw that that girl on the on the train, and.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Uh, that's terrible.
- 12:00Speaker 3: That guy is so terrible.
- 12:01Speaker 2: That guy fourteen or fifteen times, I mean out of jail,
- 12:04Speaker 2: like BET's.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Down there in the Bible Belt too, right. I was
- 12:06Speaker 1: in Carolina somewhere. That was so bad, so bad. That
- 12:10Speaker 1: was just so bad doing this guy on the street
- 12:14Speaker 1: on Twitter today, i'veeen it. When I woke up a
- 12:16Speaker 1: photo of her. I was just terrible. Really upset me,
- 12:19Speaker 1: really upset me. Yeah, John, let's real real quick. Let's
- 12:21Speaker 1: talk about Heritage Sports dot EU. So Heritage Sport's been
- 12:24Speaker 1: around thirty years. Uh. They have this one hundred percent
- 12:28Speaker 1: bonus sign up. They have one O eight juice. Uh,
- 12:30Speaker 1: they have this one oweight sign up bonus going. I'm sorry,
- 12:34Speaker 1: this one hundred percent sign up owners going. But this
- 12:36Speaker 1: one owaight juice, I kind of don't even get it. So, uh,
- 12:39Speaker 1: Heritage is the one.
- 12:40Speaker 3: You don't even understand how they're doing.
- 12:43Speaker 1: The bonus is the free juice is the juice. So uh,
- 12:46Speaker 1: football started already Heritage Sports dot eu. Also, they have
- 12:50Speaker 1: so many different bonuses, Bitcoin insurance, get out of your bet,
- 12:53Speaker 1: halftime h if you don't like the one, if that's
- 12:55Speaker 1: fun one they pick, Yeah, they pick, they pick a
- 12:57Speaker 1: game all the time. The Heritage Sports been a long
- 13:00Speaker 1: time bill.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Wait, you just said, do you remember did you watch
- 13:03Speaker 2: the Sunday night game last week this past opening weekend?
- 13:06Speaker 1: Of course?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Okay, can you imagine how many people got out of
- 13:09Speaker 2: their bet?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Oh?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Wow, how many people got I would love to know
- 13:12Speaker 3: those numbers.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you're you're talking about the Baltimore yeah game. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 1: comebacks in history. Here's something that no one talked about
- 13:19Speaker 1: that game. Really. You know, we try to do things
- 13:22Speaker 1: sports betting base, but we're more of a gambling lifestyle.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I showed things like that. Yeah, I do other shows
- 13:27Speaker 1: sports betting based based MoMA Kelly in Vegas now on
- 13:29Speaker 1: Monday mornings. So but I'll tell you though, if you're
- 13:33Speaker 1: a sports better and you're looking at games that you
- 13:36Speaker 1: like in circle, you could have bet that game a
- 13:38Speaker 1: few months ago and you would have had the winning
- 13:40Speaker 1: line with that game. So you know, I'm not trying
- 13:43Speaker 1: to say that people. If you many people, even sharp
- 13:46Speaker 1: people lost with Baltimore, pick them in the game. But
- 13:49Speaker 1: I know for a fact you could have took you know,
- 13:51Speaker 1: one and a half two and a half in that
- 13:53Speaker 1: game back then, and uh it was the two and
- 13:56Speaker 1: a half was just there for a minute. One and
- 13:57Speaker 1: a half was there for a while. So but that's
- 13:59Speaker 1: kind of answering. People make up the decisions last minute.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You know, I do a Fox show on the weekends.
- 14:04Speaker 1: If it wasn't for that, I'm gonna show some live
- 14:07Speaker 1: video footage from the sportsbook even here last minute on Monday,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry. On Sundays Sunday Sunday Football at ten o'clock,
- 14:15Speaker 1: there's thirty people that could shut out and they're, oh,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I just meant like you had all week to bet. Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: matter of fact, those games have been up for six months.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You had six months to bet. Because they just don't know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: they don't know what they want. It's the chow Mayners child, Maine.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Give me a chicken chow Maine. The Chinese men, the
- 14:32Speaker 1: waiter comes to you. You know.
- 14:33Speaker 2: You know's so many people at the window that just
- 14:35Speaker 2: do the they're just randomly picking there.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Just they don't know what they last minute and most
- 14:40Speaker 1: of an extra line, an extra game in a party.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Hey guys, just to let you know, Randy's going to
- 14:46Speaker 1: be on every week, but he never has time for us.
- 14:49Speaker 1: He's over at the parking lot and another casino. You know,
- 14:52Speaker 1: have time to come in person. You know you got
- 14:54Speaker 1: a lot of money. And that's the way he works.
- 14:55Speaker 1: That's no big deal. Uh, Randy, Let's see the people
- 15:00Speaker 1: have spoken. They want your games. What do you want
- 15:03Speaker 1: this week? Yeah?
- 15:05Speaker 4: After a last week they didn't mess out on match
- 15:08Speaker 4: one and two and had two really bad beats there
- 15:12Speaker 4: with an under in the casey San Diego game or
- 15:16Speaker 4: LA Chargers, and then I had Baltimore on that Sunday night,
- 15:20Speaker 4: so Baltimore that it's a pretty ugly one. So hopefully
- 15:25Speaker 4: the luck turns around here a little bit for us
- 15:27Speaker 4: this week Thursday Night football, like getting the three and
- 15:33Speaker 4: a half here with the former team known as the Redskins.
- 15:39Speaker 4: So taking that there like the improvement I seen on defense,
- 15:43Speaker 4: even though I don't think this New York Giants has
- 15:45Speaker 4: much of an offense this year. Green Bay coming off
- 15:49Speaker 4: an impressive win, but they accumulated some injuries here to
- 15:52Speaker 4: their offensive line.
- 15:54Speaker 1: So they were at line three and a half plus
- 15:58Speaker 1: three and a half minus sixteen south point plus three
- 16:01Speaker 1: and a half minus one ten. That's what we're gonna
- 16:03Speaker 1: go by. There's three different casinos that have this line, So, uh,
- 16:07Speaker 1: what's the reasoning behind you? I'm sorry I cut you off.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Wanted to get the lineup.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Yeah, green Bay has some offensive line injury injuries a
- 16:15Speaker 4: short week. You know, Washing Washington looks pretty strong here
- 16:19Speaker 4: on offense, you know, getting this extra hook. I can
- 16:22Speaker 4: see this line going down some as well. So getting
- 16:25Speaker 4: the getting the value here early in the week here
- 16:28Speaker 4: with the three and a half.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I like this.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I like this team can always hopefully not need the
- 16:34Speaker 4: back door. But this game should go back and forth,
- 16:36Speaker 4: be a close game. So I like Washington here in
- 16:39Speaker 4: this matchup.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Okay, okay, let's get to your next game, and uh
- 16:44Speaker 1: we're I'm against you on one of these games, so
- 16:47Speaker 1: you want to go, you want to go right there?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Cincinnati Cincinnati. You like Cincinnati different spreads though you're you're
- 16:53Speaker 1: minus three, you can get minus three minus a quarter
- 16:56Speaker 1: at multiple places here in town. I'm looking one to
- 16:59Speaker 1: this two places minus three one as a quarter. What's
- 17:02Speaker 1: the reason why you like cinciover Jacksonville? I got. I
- 17:04Speaker 1: got plus three and a half for a bet.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Week three or week two is over reaction week. So
- 17:12Speaker 4: you know, you can't always go by what you see.
- 17:14Speaker 4: This first week, Cincinnati gets by with an ugly win
- 17:19Speaker 4: one they were out played on played in and of
- 17:22Speaker 4: course Cleveland, Cleveland themselves with the missfield goals and all
- 17:25Speaker 4: the other boloney. You know, so I can't go by
- 17:28Speaker 4: these overreactions. This line was four and a half last week.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Now it's down to the short price of three. I
- 17:35Speaker 4: think it's a bye on Cincinnati here at three because
- 17:38Speaker 4: of that short price, and I like to I like
- 17:41Speaker 4: to go against some of these overreactions.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Week two the biggest overreactions. People think green Bay
- 17:47Speaker 1: is going to win the Super Bowl. That's the biggest
- 17:49Speaker 1: bet from one of the shows I do. The book
- 17:50Speaker 1: maker came on. The biggest bet he took on Monday
- 17:53Speaker 1: morning was green Bay to win the Super Bowl. If
- 17:55Speaker 1: people just think automatically, oh, Green Bay beat Detroit, They're
- 17:58Speaker 1: winning the Super Bowl. So overreaction actions from week one
- 18:00Speaker 1: to week two or half a lot? And what's your
- 18:04Speaker 1: third game?
- 18:06Speaker 4: So I got that one? You know, is Jacksonville really
- 18:09Speaker 4: that good if we're gonna if we're gonna look into
- 18:11Speaker 4: this line here, are they really that good of a team?
- 18:14Speaker 4: They beat Carolina? Sure, you know the break they had
- 18:17Speaker 4: a thunderstorm and all that other baloney. You know, I
- 18:21Speaker 4: I had that game wrong. You know, another bad choice
- 18:25Speaker 4: by me last week. You know, for week one is hard,
- 18:28Speaker 4: But I see this being an overreaction. I see my
- 18:31Speaker 4: Cincinnati winning by at least three or more.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Okay, and what's your what's your third play? Big ugly dog?
- 18:40Speaker 4: Here back on the back on the winter I had
- 18:43Speaker 4: last week, Cleveland Brown should have went out right. Of course,
- 18:46Speaker 4: they like I said before, they cleveland themselves into losing
- 18:50Speaker 4: somehow some all. This team always fights a way to lose,
- 18:54Speaker 4: some goofy way or some other. They got a good
- 18:57Speaker 4: head coach, It keeps them, keeps them, keeps them into
- 19:00Speaker 4: you know, keep them a decent team. But they find
- 19:03Speaker 4: a way to lose. And you know, I think they
- 19:05Speaker 4: got a shot to win this game outright too.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I mean and a half point dog went out. Yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I give him.
- 19:12Speaker 4: A shot here. You know this this Baltimore team, you know,
- 19:15Speaker 4: we've seen some leagues here on the defense. You know,
- 19:18Speaker 4: they do got a good offense, you know with the
- 19:21Speaker 4: with the two headed monster, with the running game with
- 19:23Speaker 4: Jackson and Henry. But this Cleveland defense went healthy. This
- 19:27Speaker 4: front foward is one of the better front fours, so
- 19:29Speaker 4: they could cause all kinds of problems here. And Cleveland's
- 19:33Speaker 4: a different team when they got Joe Flacco starting more
- 19:36Speaker 4: competent quarterback. They ain't gonna make that mistake, you know,
- 19:39Speaker 4: get to have those big throws. You know, we saw
- 19:42Speaker 4: them stay in there against that Cincinnati team, probably should
- 19:46Speaker 4: have beaten even though Cincinnati very poor defense. I see
- 19:49Speaker 4: him having some success here in division rival. You know,
- 19:53Speaker 4: I give Cleveland a shot here. So survivor people watch out.
- 19:57Speaker 4: This could be the one.
- 19:58Speaker 1: What do you normally do, Randy? You throw like for
- 20:01Speaker 1: every hundred dollars you've bet on the game, we can
- 20:03Speaker 1: throw five bucks on the money line on something like this,
- 20:07Speaker 1: you know, for everye hundred dollars something like that, five
- 20:09Speaker 1: ten dollars something like that.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll go ten percent. Yeah, definitely, I'll go ten
- 20:13Speaker 4: percent money line on this one. You'll get a nice
- 20:15Speaker 4: price there too. Because everybody thinks Baltimore ain't losing this game.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah there we too.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Last year everybody thought Baltimore ain't losing to the Raiders.
- 20:26Speaker 1: What happened? Six to one? Right here where we are
- 20:29Speaker 1: six to one. You can get on the money line
- 20:32Speaker 1: on Cleveland. So the big dog there. All right, So
- 20:36Speaker 1: that's your three plays and now next week we went
- 20:41Speaker 1: We're gonna go to you just at the end. I
- 20:42Speaker 1: have a big guest coming on next week, so we're
- 20:44Speaker 1: just gonna go to you at the end on video.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Over this again, but appreciate it. Rand. You're in town
- 20:49Speaker 1: and you'll be here for a couple of days.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Or no, I'm just sitting down. You know, I only
- 20:54Speaker 4: live an hour and a half away, so I can
- 20:55Speaker 4: do a turnaround trip. So just doing a turnaround trip
- 20:58Speaker 4: and head back tonight studying more football days.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You're landing over the border, right, Arizona.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Looked over the border from Laughlin, Nevada town called Bullhead City, Arizona.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Okay, cool, cool, well, good Randy, all right, we'll talk
- 21:10Speaker 1: to you next week. Guys, thanks for watching this at
- 21:12Speaker 1: wy scratch. You know, I'm a spokesman for underage gambling
- 21:16Speaker 1: and responsible gambling. So a survey more than a third people,
- 21:20Speaker 1: a third of people aged twelve to eighteen in British
- 21:24Speaker 1: Columbia have been reported to gamble twelve to eighteen. Yes,
- 21:28Speaker 1: twelve percent of the used reporters that they need help
- 21:30Speaker 1: for their gambling. Imagine that. But yeah, this is a study,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and a lot of these studies I don't go by
- 21:36Speaker 1: because the only surveying small under people are Yeah, but
- 21:40Speaker 1: let me tell you why it's true. I know why
- 21:42Speaker 1: it's true. I grew up were gambling area I grew up,
- 21:46Speaker 1: you know, New York and New Jersey. We were all
- 21:47Speaker 1: getting those parlay cards. Where I was nine eight, nine
- 21:50Speaker 1: years old, I was gambling on a boardwalk town. Now,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm just saying that, not just me, you people out
- 21:54Speaker 1: there too. A lot of people that watch these shows,
- 21:56Speaker 1: they've been gambling from a young age. Maybe it's just
- 21:58Speaker 1: scratch off lottery with your at ten years old, thinking
- 22:01Speaker 1: it's harmless, going to the track with your dad. I
- 22:04Speaker 1: did when I was a young kid. Uh, and it's
- 22:06Speaker 1: not just that Mary's. It's everywhere like that, Philly, Boston,
- 22:09Speaker 1: New York. I can go up and down the border
- 22:11Speaker 1: these you know of these towns. You're up and down
- 22:13Speaker 1: the beach towns everywhere. Now you're saying even in La Bill,
- 22:17Speaker 1: and your dad didn't gamble, right.
- 22:19Speaker 3: No, no, he didn't gamble with Bill.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I remember this happening.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I remember being in high school driving home after school.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Uh and uh my, my.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Buddy Kevin Fisher from my baseball team in high school,
- 22:30Speaker 2: played second base.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Pulling up in a red light.
- 22:33Speaker 2: We both get out and we'd throw dice right there
- 22:36Speaker 2: at the light.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You were doing this before then, though, Yes, so it
- 22:40Speaker 1: was it was it you did. You went to the
- 22:41Speaker 1: Beverly Hills High School with the one.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I went to Palisades High.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Oh, is that where all? I know? That's where that's
- 22:45Speaker 1: where Reese was shot the movie Grease.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Oh I don't even know that. Fast times at Bridgemont High.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Okay was shot all right. But this California kids, they
- 22:54Speaker 1: were gambling.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Gambling, poker. We were playing poker. My buddy Barry poker.
- 22:59Speaker 2: He had casino night at his house. He was the bank.
- 23:01Speaker 3: He'd have a roulette wheel.
- 23:03Speaker 1: He had Blackjack and his dad didn't mind financing all this.
- 23:07Speaker 3: They didn't know. The parents didn't know.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Yeah you know you lost one hundred bucks that and
- 23:11Speaker 2: it was like, yeah, birth shattering.
- 23:13Speaker 1: We were, we were. I just I seen this thing
- 23:16Speaker 1: and I was like, wow, I can't believe that. But
- 23:18Speaker 1: I know that. I know that no kids gamble. It
- 23:20Speaker 1: doesn't matter. I talk about it constantly. It's just it's
- 23:24Speaker 1: so in your face. You can't go to a game,
- 23:26Speaker 1: you can't watch a TV. Imagine the kids want to
- 23:29Speaker 1: watch a baseball game. You can't watch a baseball game
- 23:31Speaker 1: without that casino advertisement of sports. But not anymore.
- 23:34Speaker 2: There every Draftings fans and it's.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Not only them. Not gonna blame them, it's all the sports.
- 23:39Speaker 3: True.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, you know, but I have a
- 23:41Speaker 1: little bit of a heart on against Draft Kings right now.
- 23:43Speaker 1: So I have no problem.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Why tell us why they just just uh limits.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I did my I did my show down at down
- 23:49Speaker 1: at Circa the Visa Network, and I talked about their
- 23:53Speaker 1: new rule that they had and that was they were implementing.
- 23:56Speaker 3: With the intimation.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Ten minutes after the show, I call that I'm on
- 24:01Speaker 1: My limits are torn and fifty dollars at the counter
- 24:03Speaker 1: at Foxwood. So that's what they called me after the show,
- 24:06Speaker 1: because someone in the DraftKings office over here listened to it,
- 24:09Speaker 1: right and said, hey, tell that crack of Meergan's not
- 24:11Speaker 1: the Meanwhile, I talk good about them about how they've
- 24:14Speaker 1: taken bets over the years at the counter, they've limited
- 24:16Speaker 1: on that.
- 24:16Speaker 2: It's just I'll never understand. You're either a casino or
- 24:19Speaker 2: you're not. You either take the action or you don't.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Like what are we doing?
- 24:22Speaker 1: It's just a crazy How about this? Nevada isn't necessarily
- 24:28Speaker 1: a happy place to live. This is what this says.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Nevada ranks poorly in a new study of the happiest
- 24:34Speaker 1: days to look. How about this, we're fortieth. Wow, people
- 24:38Speaker 1: in like Montana and Idaho and Iowa, they're all happier
- 24:42Speaker 1: than us. Just to let you know, it's you know why,
- 24:45Speaker 1: it's it's the unemployment. Of it's the highest state for unemployment. Yeah,
- 24:48Speaker 1: it's the highest state of gambling addictions. I get that,
- 24:52Speaker 1: and you've seen that. Sorry, but yeah, no, it's it's
- 24:57Speaker 1: the unemployment. It's the gambling addiction. They're just we're just
- 25:00Speaker 1: not too overly happy. I talk about the local economy
- 25:03Speaker 1: here and how they're always, you know, gambling the first
- 25:06Speaker 1: of the month. Look at the local casinos and you
- 25:08Speaker 1: can see the nervous energy this Fridays just playing the
- 25:10Speaker 1: kino machineridays.
- 25:11Speaker 3: In the local spots, right.
- 25:13Speaker 1: All they all the casinos, local casinos cast checks for you,
- 25:17Speaker 1: all of them. But they all used to do it.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you're at the south Point on a Friday.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and you want to if you're playing blash bag,
- 25:23Speaker 2: you want to go cash out good luck around four
- 25:25Speaker 2: or five o'clock.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yeah, they can't checks, but they're all it's all we're
- 25:28Speaker 1: not trust me.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I love the south Point so yeah, yeah, yeah, south
- 25:31Speaker 1: Point is backpacked.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I was just picking a hot local spot.
- 25:33Speaker 1: They're packed every.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Day every day.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Oh do it right, They're so packed. But yeah, so
- 25:39Speaker 1: they just just showed about this, uh Nevada, how easy?
- 25:43Speaker 1: How this was the one of the worst saying. I
- 25:45Speaker 1: didn't think it was fortieth. But I got to tell
- 25:47Speaker 1: you something though, because maybe because I do what I do,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm pretty happy here now. I'm an advantage gambler. I
- 25:53Speaker 1: have lots lots we have great things here that we have.
- 25:57Speaker 1: We don't have the culture of maybe old buildings in
- 26:00Speaker 1: historic marketings, but you know, we do it one hundred
- 26:02Speaker 1: years old now downtown. You can still go to some
- 26:05Speaker 1: of the things. We have so many different things to do. Now,
- 26:08Speaker 1: you as a gambler, at every minute, your mind is
- 26:12Speaker 1: always thinking gambling. Is this Do you think it's an
- 26:13Speaker 1: okay town for you?
- 26:14Speaker 3: Yeah? I love it here, Okay, I love it. Yeah
- 26:17Speaker 3: so good.
- 26:17Speaker 1: No, I find it interesting. I just wanted to know, now, John,
- 26:24Speaker 1: when I was a kid, I was a little djen
- 26:27Speaker 1: like forget it, nine ten years old and the publishers clearinghouse.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I remember McMahon back there. Yeah, McMahon was a spokesman.
- 26:37Speaker 1: H yeah, he winds up broke, but he did.
- 26:40Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Yeah, from gambling.
- 26:42Speaker 3: He owed horse races, right, oh horse, I know he
- 26:45Speaker 3: was racehorse.
- 26:45Speaker 1: At the end, I felt bad.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he owed racehorses.
- 26:48Speaker 1: His family says a lot of some things about him.
- 26:51Speaker 3: We went to the funeral, Oh you did, yeah, me
- 26:53Speaker 3: and my dad. Yeah, hockey not like the tonic man.
- 26:56Speaker 3: M Yeah, it was very nice.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Nice man. That that even saddens me more.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, So Publisher's clearinghouse they had these five thousand dollars
- 27:04Speaker 1: a week Forever prizes. They go to the door, you're
- 27:07Speaker 1: the five thousand dollars. You know. Obviously they would advertise
- 27:10Speaker 1: it all year long and get everyone to buy magazines,
- 27:12Speaker 1: right everyone. I bought them, just saying, oh, I gotta try. Course,
- 27:16Speaker 1: I got to try to get that, Mom, I want
- 27:17Speaker 1: to get a certain magazine. And they used to order
- 27:19Speaker 1: it into their house, and my mother used to get
- 27:21Speaker 1: the eighteen dollars bill and scream at me. Also with
- 27:24Speaker 1: the too number. I figured whatever, the sports sports line,
- 27:29Speaker 1: sports phone. But anyway, yeah, so I used to do it.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Now they went bankrupt and they sold the company. Another
- 27:35Speaker 1: company has has it's been acquired by another company. These
- 27:38Speaker 1: people that won the five thousand dollars a week forever,
- 27:41Speaker 1: which is twenty years, they call it ten years ago.
- 27:44Speaker 1: They're furious. They're furious because now they don't get their
- 27:47Speaker 1: five thousand dollars per week, because if they sell the company,
- 27:51Speaker 1: that's two hundred and sixty thousand a year before taxes.
- 27:54Speaker 1: And but some of the people I'm reading their comments,
- 27:58Speaker 1: this feels like a nightmare. I thought would have this
- 28:00Speaker 1: rest of my life. I wasn't gonna now, how am
- 28:02Speaker 1: I gonna pay my mortgage. WHOA, let's think you've been
- 28:05Speaker 1: getting it for ten years, twenty thirteen, you've been getting
- 28:07Speaker 1: it for twelve years. You've been getting two hundred and
- 28:09Speaker 1: sixty thousand a year. Maybe it's the Porsches you bought.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I mean, this is in the article. Like, I'm not
- 28:15Speaker 1: trying to say, listen, it's terrible that you're not gonna
- 28:18Speaker 1: get paid, but actually, to use the words financial ruin,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in. He has to sell his jet,
- 28:24Speaker 1: ski and trailer. He has to sell things. I'm pretty
- 28:26Speaker 1: sure I'm gonna lose my home. It's right there, Like
- 28:29Speaker 1: that's just now, listen, I'm not I'm not sticking up
- 28:32Speaker 1: for publishers fearing house for them. They you know that
- 28:34Speaker 1: this is a terrible thing.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Though, but it speaks to human nature, right we all do,
- 28:38Speaker 2: almost all of us live above our means.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah. No, And there's there's a couple here that's I
- 28:44Speaker 1: read this thing that there's a couple here that's a
- 28:47Speaker 1: they're both disabled and they want I feel bad for
- 28:49Speaker 1: I feel terrible for them, but that it's just amazing
- 28:52Speaker 1: that this publisher's clearing house, something that we grew up
- 28:54Speaker 1: on so they advertised all those years, get all that
- 28:57Speaker 1: money in and just said, ah, we're bankrupt. I just
- 29:01Speaker 1: I can't believe they they could even do so.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I didn't even know that was still around.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I can't believe they could do stuff like that. Yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: now Vegas music scene here. The Eagles were here last weekend? Yes,
- 29:10Speaker 1: have you seen the Eagles at the sphere?
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yes?
- 29:12Speaker 1: You did? Go? I didn't know. You went phenomenal. So
- 29:14Speaker 1: all the money doesn't go to gambling. Good?
- 29:17Speaker 3: So I got a chomp. Yeah, coming in here the tour?
- 29:21Speaker 1: Is there gonna be a It looks like a training session?
- 29:25Speaker 3: Is that what this is?
- 29:26Speaker 1: It looks like a training session for everyone in their suits.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Welcome to West Gate. Ye terrorize them off. I'm thinking
- 29:32Speaker 1: about telling maybe you don't want to work. Really tough
- 29:34Speaker 1: to work for anyway. So the Eagles were great? How
- 29:39Speaker 1: about this? Now? The Backstreet Boys, It's amazing. I don't
- 29:42Speaker 1: know anything about it. Four million per show. They're taking
- 29:46Speaker 1: four million dollars per show in that's a lot of
- 29:49Speaker 1: money for the back I need the Backstreet Boys with
- 29:51Speaker 1: like multi millionaires like this number one, four million dollars
- 29:55Speaker 1: a show and.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I guess boy band ever, right, yeah.
- 29:59Speaker 1: However, they spent seven to eight million to produce this show.
- 30:04Speaker 1: They spent seven to eight million dollars to build the theater,
- 30:07Speaker 1: which is unbelievable. You know.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so so so seeing the videos and stuff, it
- 30:12Speaker 2: looks incredible.
- 30:13Speaker 1: It looks incredible, it looks five. I'm sorry, but they're
- 30:16Speaker 1: making They got back four million of show Backstreet Boys.
- 30:19Speaker 1: I don't really know any of the songs, but I'm
- 30:21Speaker 1: sure you do.
- 30:22Speaker 3: But you don't realize you do.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You're a boy band guy, No, I'm not. Yeah. So anyway,
- 30:27Speaker 1: so now I'm guessing this is a new new training group.
- 30:30Speaker 1: All right, all right, welcome to West Kate. You're all
- 30:32Speaker 1: on the you're on the podcast. You're all on the podcast.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Millions of viewers are going to be here.
- 30:39Speaker 3: So it is, are on the lamb.
- 30:41Speaker 1: It's over, it's over. I love it so uh. Dead
- 30:46Speaker 1: in Company, I've seen Dead in Company.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I heard Metallic is coming.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Oh wow, please don't. My wife's gonna want to go.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I'm saying this.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I want to come, man, I'm coming with you.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Maybe I'll let you go with her.
- 30:57Speaker 3: I'm in Yeah, Well you wouldn't.
- 31:00Speaker 1: You don't like No, I'm not doing that. Wife swap
- 31:02Speaker 1: thing and there I know how you think.
- 31:04Speaker 3: No, I'm not doing that, but you wouldn't like Metallica.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I went to see him a couple of times. You know,
- 31:09Speaker 1: I'm just I'm not in the like like that Motley
- 31:12Speaker 1: Cruz coming now for this this residency. I like. I
- 31:15Speaker 1: like that. They're good, I guess, but I don't listen
- 31:17Speaker 1: to any Motley Crewe or any heavy metal like I
- 31:20Speaker 1: got heavy, but I used to. I used to like
- 31:23Speaker 1: Motley Crue right when I was fifteen.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Sure, my gloves, but isn't it more like an A
- 31:28Speaker 3: C d C thing, like.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Like, hey man, how you doing? I liked a C
- 31:32Speaker 1: d C. I definitely liked a c DC. And I
- 31:35Speaker 1: went to go see him because Kelly never seen him before,
- 31:38Speaker 1: so I took I took her to go see him,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and uh and I've seen him before myself and it
- 31:44Speaker 1: was great, A shock was unbelievable running up and that.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Were there, that was with you.
- 31:48Speaker 1: You're with me? Yeah, I don't think I pay for
- 31:50Speaker 1: your ticket. So it's not a deal. I'm just saying
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm supposed to get not a big, not a giant deal.
- 31:55Speaker 1: But uh so I've seen Metallica with her at the stadium,
- 32:01Speaker 1: and it's just too laughing. I'm not going I know
- 32:05Speaker 1: a couple of the songs. I actually like a couple
- 32:07Speaker 1: of the songs. Yeah, I just I'm not just by
- 32:11Speaker 1: the way, most successful band out there. I heard they
- 32:13Speaker 1: sell more money in merchandise. Really, they make more money
- 32:16Speaker 1: than any band. Rolling Stones was number two. That's unbelievable,
- 32:19Speaker 1: top number one. So someone I would like to go see,
- 32:22Speaker 1: and I messed up. I could have free tickets a
- 32:24Speaker 1: dozen times at the wind when I was in there
- 32:26Speaker 1: gambling and and then you know, letting me gamble and
- 32:29Speaker 1: giving me all comps for everything. John, I've seen line
- 32:31Speaker 1: of Richie, a couple of John Fogerty creating Clear Creed's great.
- 32:37Speaker 1: They got so many songs, and I never really gottens.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I got a little bit older. So he's moving over
- 32:43Speaker 1: to plan in Hollywood, so he's gonna have some shows there. Okay,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I just thought that was that was pretty cool. Yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: so let's get into this week's Uh, we're going right back.
- 32:54Speaker 3: I remember ticket, Yeah, I remember.
- 32:56Speaker 1: At wager Wire. We're going back to an old ticket,
- 32:58Speaker 1: a million dollar ticket initially initially covered in June. It's
- 33:03Speaker 1: not looking so well. So here's the reason why I
- 33:06Speaker 1: say that. So Edmonton Oilers are in Oklahoma. City's in Florida.
- 33:11Speaker 1: The eleven to one shot in and now you got
- 33:14Speaker 1: problems the Yankees, which is problems, not it? I think
- 33:17Speaker 1: the one the Lions are even.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Problems the Lions.
- 33:20Speaker 1: There's definitely points last week. Yeah, like, but the Yankees
- 33:24Speaker 1: I think are a problem.
- 33:25Speaker 3: It is time to bail out on this ticket. And
- 33:28Speaker 3: I'm a stay in it to win it kind of got.
- 33:31Speaker 1: One hundred and seventy eight dollars ticket. Yeah, to win
- 33:35Speaker 1: a million bucks, Yes, believe them.
- 33:37Speaker 3: It is an It's amazingly.
- 33:39Speaker 1: The site takes this one hundred and seventy.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I hope he wins. You know, I'm a listen, I'm
- 33:43Speaker 2: a Dodger fan. Yes, I can get over it.
- 33:46Speaker 3: This season. I'd love this guy to win. But it's
- 33:49Speaker 3: time to bail out on this.
- 33:50Speaker 1: So the buy out is eleven, nine hundred and sixty
- 33:52Speaker 1: four dollars from the sports take It. However, the wager
- 33:55Speaker 1: wire bet value is twenty seven thousand, fifty four dollars.
- 34:00Speaker 1: That shows you the difference between the buyout and wager Wire.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Why wager wire dot com wag wire.
- 34:05Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 34:06Speaker 1: It's worth so much more on the buyouts. But I
- 34:09Speaker 1: gotta tell you, though, this ticket's on LAFE support. If
- 34:13Speaker 1: you can get out of this ticket and you could
- 34:16Speaker 1: sell it or even lower the price. I don't know
- 34:19Speaker 1: if you're gonna get five figures, but you could probably
- 34:21Speaker 1: get nine grand, eight grand, because it's worth a million
- 34:24Speaker 1: dollars if they win. There's probably even a hedge involved
- 34:27Speaker 1: here right where you can get involved.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Listen.
- 34:31Speaker 2: If Yankees make it to the playoffs, anything can happen.
- 34:35Speaker 2: It's a brand new season. I mean, it's certainly possible.
- 34:38Speaker 2: The Lions were great last year. It is certain it's
- 34:41Speaker 2: still possible. I mean it shouldn't it shouldn't be so
- 34:43Speaker 2: harsh on it, but yeah, I would definitely so.
- 34:47Speaker 1: John. You know something, these these slot guys do these
- 34:50Speaker 1: slot hustlers, not the hustlers, the ones that get offers
- 34:53Speaker 1: in the mail and you can build up a card
- 34:55Speaker 1: or get a card. You get you get five nights
- 34:57Speaker 1: hotel room, yep, and you get maybe food with it
- 35:00Speaker 1: for seven food. This is something that's been going on
- 35:03Speaker 1: for forty years. People at home, you guys watching guys
- 35:06Speaker 1: and girls. You're gonna realize your offers you get. But
- 35:09Speaker 1: a lot of people sell those rooms like, hey, I
- 35:11Speaker 1: got rooms in the Wind whenever I wanted. I probably
- 35:14Speaker 1: never realized the value of those rooms on the weekend
- 35:16Speaker 1: five hundred bucks minimum. So now what people do is
- 35:20Speaker 1: they sell the rooms. They go on and say, hey,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I'm selling my rooms. I'll check you in, I'll have
- 35:24Speaker 1: the room. I'll put your name on there on the
- 35:26Speaker 1: room after we get in. It's two hundred to night
- 35:28Speaker 1: at the Wind or one hundred dollars a night at
- 35:30Speaker 1: wherever the casino is. I've never done that in my life.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I've just I've never ever sold a room in my life.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I just never did it. But I know from hearing
- 35:41Speaker 1: these hustlers that are building up cards. I say, building
- 35:44Speaker 1: up cards, going, I just everything you've had offers right.
- 35:47Speaker 3: And I've sold in the room I've never seen I've
- 35:49Speaker 3: met that. I usually meet them at the.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Same the strangers literally, a guy. I'll see someone on
- 35:55Speaker 1: Twitter or something saying about how they don't have they
- 35:58Speaker 1: want to come to Vegas, but the rooms too much
- 35:59Speaker 1: of I know of them or know something about them. Yeah,
- 36:02Speaker 1: I said, you know what you want to come to?
- 36:03Speaker 1: What I can get very nice. I can get very
- 36:06Speaker 1: nice for you. I don't even know them. Check them
- 36:08Speaker 1: in and they're like, oh my god, I can't play.
- 36:09Speaker 1: But then they ask for confirmation. Crack and I have
- 36:11Speaker 1: a confirmation number.
- 36:13Speaker 3: We talked about it.
- 36:14Speaker 1: There's no confirm I'm the confirmation. I know, you know,
- 36:16Speaker 1: but sometimes that happens, though, you know. Yeah, one of
- 36:20Speaker 1: the things, my buddy gambles. I'm not going to throw
- 36:23Speaker 1: them under the bus. He is here, but so he gamble.
- 36:27Speaker 1: He's a gambler. He's a gambler. I showed him a
- 36:29Speaker 1: bandage machine. He does very well yesterday and he's so
- 36:31Speaker 1: happy to be to tell me one hundred dollars on
- 36:33Speaker 1: them him. Yeah, okay, So so he's here today and
- 36:38Speaker 1: so but he gambles, though, he'll have five hundred dollars,
- 36:41Speaker 1: thousand dollars sessions playing on the square, you know, losing money.
- 36:46Speaker 1: So now he's betting my player props. I'm giving it
- 36:48Speaker 1: to him and he's betting them. I'm looking at him, acount.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I was like, how about you bet on that he
- 36:52Speaker 1: goes fifty bucks or one hundred bucks. The whole time out,
- 36:55Speaker 1: time out, you're gambling on your own you're willing blues
- 36:58Speaker 1: five hundred dollars in the casino? Want to Joe blow schedule?
- 37:01Speaker 1: You know, a Joe blow game. Have fun enjoying yourself
- 37:05Speaker 1: those fweve undred dollars. I'm giving you something as a
- 37:08Speaker 1: three to four percent five percent ch and you bet
- 37:10Speaker 1: fifty dollars on it? No, no, if you bet one
- 37:12Speaker 1: hundred dollars on it, So that means that you have
- 37:16Speaker 1: a no. Why this is worth three dollars four hours
- 37:19Speaker 1: to just bet the five hundred dollars that you have
- 37:21Speaker 1: on I don't get it. Why you're not betting the
- 37:23Speaker 1: five hundred dollars at least if you're you're wanted to
- 37:25Speaker 1: lose that much. Just the gambler mentality. By the way,
- 37:29Speaker 1: it's a four hour event, three hour event. He loses
- 37:31Speaker 1: in thirty minutes, he loses the five hundred Like amazing?
- 37:34Speaker 1: How the gambler? How is? It's the dion. You're in
- 37:37Speaker 1: the casino, you're pressing button, you're firing. It's amazing.
- 37:41Speaker 2: A guy hit me up a couple of days ago
- 37:43Speaker 2: and said, Hey, I'm thinking about getting crack buying cracks picks.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Should I do it? You know what?
- 37:49Speaker 2: My answer was only if you're only going to bet
- 37:53Speaker 2: cracks picks, if you're gonna go rogue and do your
- 37:56Speaker 2: own thing, don't waste your money.
- 37:58Speaker 1: That went thirty six and eight three years ago, on
- 38:00Speaker 1: to martch. I remember went wherever a month it was.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Then I've been January fore and I lost three customers,
- 38:07Speaker 1: and I wondered why. I told my assistant, give me,
- 38:09Speaker 1: give me those emails. All three of them didn't. One
- 38:12Speaker 1: his wife is man at mccamble on other things. Two
- 38:16Speaker 1: was I put your stuff in parlays, and three was
- 38:19Speaker 1: the biggest thing. He said, Yeah, I know you did good.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I didn't know how good. But I put my own
- 38:23Speaker 1: stuff in there too. I lost for a month. Like yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 1: I'm not trying to. It's not fun when they'll come
- 38:27Speaker 1: up with your own stuff for you. I like this,
- 38:29Speaker 1: I like that. You really have to be a professional
- 38:32Speaker 1: to even do that. But John Randy, I forgot about
- 38:35Speaker 1: him last week. So I forgot about Randy McKay. So
- 38:38Speaker 1: I just forgot to bring him on for some.
- 38:40Speaker 2: First of all, First, yeah, yeah, I saw the comments.
- 38:43Speaker 2: They were like where's Randy, Where's Randy?
- 38:45Speaker 1: So I'm gonna I'm gonna bring on Randy in a
- 38:47Speaker 1: separate clip just for three minutes. JH doesn't even know
- 38:50Speaker 1: what I'm gonna bring him on there, and uh yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 1: So we appreciate you guys liking, subscribing, watching us, and
- 38:56Speaker 1: we'll see you guys next week on Wisecracks. Oh, by
- 38:58Speaker 1: the way, Shian Giant interview next week. I can't say
- 39:02Speaker 1: much more, but I even asked John if he did
- 39:05Speaker 1: not want to be part. Man. I was serious to him.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Not if you don't want to be part of the
- 39:10Speaker 1: interview we're having is going to cause a lot of controversy.
