- 0:01Everyone believes they are conscious spiritual Seekers
- 0:06especially having awakened from the purely mechanical habitual
- 0:11processes of the external life. Certainly believe they are
- 0:15conscious. Those who believe in various
- 0:18religious Traditions by virtue of that belief, except that they
- 0:23are conscious this belief. However does not change the
- 0:28facts of their lives or the numerous areas where their lives
- 0:33are purely based inhabit and a form of dull sleepwalking.
- 0:39Sometimes an individual has an experience that shocks him out
- 0:43of the comfort zone of his daily beliefs acts and perceptions and
- 0:49intense spiritual experience, can do that based on this
- 0:53experience, the secret. Now, believes that he is
- 0:56conscious in some religious Traditions, he will understand
- 1:00that he has been born again into the spirit.
- 1:04However, the experience is a momentary phenomena.
- 1:09Generally the secret quickly revert to established patterns
- 1:14habits and ways of seeing thinking acting and interacting
- 1:21it is possible also to be relatively conscious in one
- 1:25aspect or part of the being while remaining unconscious in
- 1:29other parts of the being, the human being is a complex amalgam
- 1:34of physical, vital, mental and psycho-spiritual.
- 1:39Ants and they do not all progress in the same way or at
- 1:44the same time, we're at the same speed.
- 1:49The mother was asked the question.
- 1:51When can that one say, one is conscious.
- 1:56The mother responds that is always a relative question.
- 2:02One is never all together, unconscious and one is never
- 2:06completely conscious. It is a progressive state but a
- 2:11time comes when instead of doing things automatically impelled by
- 2:15a Consciousness and force of which one is quite unaware.
- 2:19The time comes when one can observe.
- 2:22What goes on in one self-study one's movements.
- 2:26Find their causes. And at the same time, begin to
- 2:30exercise. A control first over, what goes
- 2:34on within us. Then on the influence cast on us
- 2:38from outside, which makes us act in the beginning, altogether,
- 2:42unconsciously, and almost involuntarily but gradually more
- 2:48and more consciously and then we'll can wake up and react.
- 2:54Then at that moment, the moment there is a conscious will
- 2:58capable of reacting. When may say, I have become
- 3:03conscious, this does not mean that it is a total imperfect
- 3:07Consciousness. It means that it is a beginning.
- 3:12For example, when one is able to observe all the reactions in
- 3:16ones being and to have a certain control over them.
- 3:22To let those one approves of have play and to control, stop
- 3:29annul. Those one doesn't approve of
- 3:34besides, you must become aware within of something, like a goal
- 3:38or a purpose or an ideal. You want to realize something
- 3:42other than the mere instinct, which impels you to live without
- 3:47your knowing, why, or how, At that time, you may say you are
- 3:52conscious but it doesn't mean you are perfectly conscious and
- 3:57moreover, this Perfection is so Progressive that I believe
- 4:01nobody can say. He is perfectly conscious.
- 4:05He is on the way to becoming perfectly conscious, but he
- 4:09isn't yet and quote reference SRI aurobindo in the mother
- 4:16growing within the psychology of inner development.
