Hey guys, it's Dan from check Cast here to do my strange New World
• 0:06
Season two episode two. I'm not going to try and pronounce the title because
• 0:13
I can't remember it quick reaction. But also I have a mail call package
• 0:20
review. I figured i'll do it all at once, so I watched the
• 0:24
episode. I want to watch it once. Watched about five thirty six o'clock
• 0:28
this morning. It was better than last week, but it wasn't great.
• 0:38
It wasn't great. I'm not going to go into specifics. I'll save specifics
• 0:42
for Sunday, but basically, you've heard me say before that I wish these
• 0:47
shows would have a military advisor to get the military stuff right and a tactical
• 0:53
advisor to get the tactical stuff right. They need a legal advisor. There
• 1:00
were some things that they did that just, uh, story wise, they
• 1:06
were not good. I don't know if it's if it has to do with
• 1:10
the smaller writing staff, a smaller writing writer's room. Um. Yeah,
• 1:18
So we'll talk about that on Sunday. In the meantime, I got a
• 1:23
package today from one of our listeners. Um back in February, Damon Pietrice.
• 1:32
I think I don't know if I'm pronouncing that right. But he made
• 1:34
a post in our in our Facebook group with some pictures of some starships that
• 1:41
he was three D printing, and kind of tongue in cheek. I commented
• 1:46
and said, you know, if someone were to send me a three D
• 1:49
printed Delta Flyer, I would be obligated to review it on the show.
• 1:53
And he did. He sent it um. I completely forgot about it.
• 2:00
Took it took a few months because you know, he had to finish some
• 2:01
projects that he was working on. But you know, I got a text
• 2:05
message from FedEx the other day that I had a packaging route and I'm like,
• 2:07
I don't know what this is, and I was trying to figure out
• 2:09
what it was. Then my wife sent me a picture of the package today.
• 2:13
I saw the last name and I said, oh wow, so I
• 2:17
have it here, so I'm gonna go ahead and open it up. I
• 2:28
cut the tape before I started recording. Oh okay, so he's got a
• 2:31
little business card in here and nozzles and needles creating together nozzles and needles at
• 2:38
gmail dot com. There's a QR code also. I'll make sure to put
• 2:42
that up somewhere in the Facebook group, and uh so we got and it
• 2:53
is three D printed Delta flyer. Look at that thing now, unpainted,
• 3:00
so you know it's I don't think you can really see the detail. I
• 3:07
don't know if that's coming through on the screen there, but um just looking
• 3:12
at it here in my hands, I mean you could see the seams on
• 3:15
the the whole plating and whatnot. This is pretty cool. So I will
• 3:21
take some better photos and put them up in the in the Facebook group.
• 3:24
But and I'll put a link to his his his store. But damon,
• 3:32
thank you. I appreciate this. This is awesome. I don't know if
• 3:36
I'm gonna paint it or if I'm gonna leave it as is. I'll have
• 3:38
to figure that out, but thank you for that. I appreciate it.
• 3:43
And everyone else. Tune in Sunday at eleven eleven a m. Eastern Standard
• 3:49
time for the next episode of check Ass. Thanks guys, Bye,
