An 80-year-old Alzheimer’s patient, Shelba Catterton, was allegedly left outside a West Ashley nursing home for days, covered in over a thousand ant bites, suffering from hypothermia and sepsis — with emergency help arriving nearly 36 hours after she vanished. Her family is now suing Harmony at West Ashley for wrongful death, accusing the facility of neglect, inadequate security, and failure to report her disappearance to state agencies.
