- 1:39Speaker 1: giving up or what should you give up? Like you
- 1:42Speaker 1: know there's something you should give up, Probably Sea Bass
- 1:45Speaker 1: would like everybody to give up going number two at
- 1:49Speaker 1: the office, like, and Menace was saying this too, Like yes,
- 1:53Speaker 1: Menace was saying, like, what is it like because we
- 1:55Speaker 1: noticed that because we get here super early, we get
- 1:57Speaker 1: here before the sun even comes up. And Menace was saying, like,
- 2:01Speaker 1: what is it about nine to fi when people first
- 2:04Speaker 1: get to work immediately at like nine oh one. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: the bathrooms are packed with co workers who are all dropping,
- 2:12Speaker 1: all dropping.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Use save us thing, We'll I'll tell you, I'll take
- 2:14Speaker 3: a dump on company time. Ha ha ha, we get that.
- 2:16Speaker 3: We're just talking about the actual physical thing.
- 2:18Speaker 4: You animals, you filthy pigs. Like why kat is dump.
- 2:22Speaker 1: At your house right before you leave work? Yeah, it
- 2:25Speaker 1: is weird. It is weird like that you would save
- 2:27Speaker 1: it until you get to work. You Like, I get it.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Maybe you're a couple hours in right, but the minute
- 2:32Speaker 1: you get to work, that's when you're dumping. Like I
- 2:34Speaker 1: prefer not to go work. I will if I have to. Yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 1: And I got no problem, no shame with that. But
- 2:40Speaker 1: like I would prefer the home bowl advantage. I got
- 2:43Speaker 1: the butt WASHINGTONI it seems to better, But there are
- 2:46Speaker 1: so many people that just show up every morning. It's
- 2:48Speaker 1: the first thing they do.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Even cereal poopers like Sammy, who poops eighteen times a day.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yes, you would agree.
- 2:55Speaker 2: If you get here at nine and at nine oh
- 2:58Speaker 2: one you're pooping, what the hell is your.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Probably I do agree. But here's what I'll say.
- 3:03Speaker 6: I think a lot of people drink their coffee in
- 3:05Speaker 6: the car on their way to work, and the coffee
- 3:07Speaker 6: is going to make you have to go get there.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Major coffee mean either Sea Bass. Tell everybody what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: experienced today.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I would just the next level of this where guy
- 3:18Speaker 3: gets in and I know that that stall had no
- 3:20Speaker 3: toilet paper in it because I just walked in there and.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Observed this and so.
- 3:23Speaker 3: But he walked in right behind me, and he goes
- 3:26Speaker 3: right in that stall, and then he sees the same
- 3:28Speaker 3: thing actuss the stall. So I think, okay, that's one
- 3:31Speaker 3: of the four or five other bathrooms we have that
- 3:33Speaker 3: he can get to easily easily. No, No, he goes
- 3:36Speaker 3: to the sink, grabs the hand towels and about half
- 3:40Speaker 3: of the ones that are piled up there on the sink,
- 3:41Speaker 3: a little dispenser, so big thick, eight inch chunk of
- 3:44Speaker 3: hand towels and he goes right.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Back in that stall to probably clawed the goddamn toilet.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yah, I don't think that's what they're for.
- 3:50Speaker 3: He's a he's a maniac, and I don't think he's
- 3:52Speaker 3: from the first world country number.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But forget that.
- 3:57Speaker 3: He could a guy for all I care. It's still
- 4:01Speaker 3: the wrong move and you should know better, especially.
- 4:03Speaker 1: At his age.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was the laziest and like and quite
- 4:07Speaker 3: potentially damaging thing they could have done.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But yeah, because you're not supposed to flush that stuff,
- 4:12Speaker 1: we we can't say anything. We used to flushed golf
- 4:16Speaker 1: for a brisk.
- 4:18Speaker 4: For entertainment that wasn't for you wheels, and we didn't
- 4:21Speaker 4: do it out of laziness.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Also menace. That was not this building. Yeah, that was
- 4:25Speaker 1: not this company, not just raisation, not his building. That
- 4:28Speaker 1: was building with plumbing.
- 4:30Speaker 4: He who casts the first who flushes the first category.
- 4:34Speaker 3: But by the way, this building where they've closed off
- 4:36Speaker 3: a bathroom because the plumbing is so bad, and that
- 4:40Speaker 3: jacket of menace.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You don't have a problem with what he's saying. Uh,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I mean it's not ideal, no, but I mean it's
- 4:46Speaker 1: an industrial building. It's entirely it's an industrial boarding.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Might us watched the text over the next forty five seconds,
- 4:54Speaker 3: with the plumbers writing in saying.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Yes, I'm not defending this guy at all. I'm on
- 5:00Speaker 4: your side.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like, again, he who poops the first
- 5:04Speaker 1: poop like you poop in the shower and you say, oh,
- 5:07Speaker 1: we have industrial pipes because of the building. I did
- 5:09Speaker 1: not say that.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I said you said that.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I do it directly into again, is a wide drain.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Let's let's again we're deflectively.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I'm not deflecting, Yes you are. I'm just just bringing up.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Like it's what you deflected to me. The point is
- 5:23Speaker 3: you don't be so lazy. And then your your move
- 5:26Speaker 3: then is I'll just take the hand towels. That's such
- 5:29Speaker 3: insanely lazy.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I did go in there right before we came in
- 5:33Speaker 1: here to turn the microphones on, and all the hand
- 5:35Speaker 1: towels are gone. Everybody's following like dot. I don't know
- 5:40Speaker 1: like other people did the same thing, because they're and
- 5:41Speaker 1: they're all gone.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I told you he took a huge chunk.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Because he's.
- 5:47Speaker 2: The person I'm thinking you're speaking of. He also loiter.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Is it's the front desk guy?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah? Why, well, so we don't know which.
- 5:55Speaker 2: One's, but if it's the one, I'm thinking he also
- 6:00Speaker 2: loiters in the bathroom.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he's in there the same time every morning,
- 6:03Speaker 1: but he is. He's also a deep nasal breather. Once
- 6:05Speaker 1: he's like, when you're in there, just like at their
- 6:07Speaker 1: yearly r.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Once you're done, let's you poop. Watch he'll wash his hands.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I stand there, make conversation like, look around, I think
- 6:17Speaker 2: it's got nothing to do out of here.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Loitering in to an event last weekend. As I was leaving,
- 6:24Speaker 5: he's like, Oh, if your family wants to come, you.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Know what, maybe he's one of your customers. Oh, I
- 6:31Speaker 1: don't care.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Here comes the meeting. What what I'm saying.
- 6:36Speaker 1: About a specific employee there? You don't know which one though? Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 1: who's who's using all the hand towels for the toilet
- 6:44Speaker 1: which you're not supposed to do?
- 6:45Speaker 7: Well.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I made a first world crack that I was hoping
- 6:47Speaker 3: would be camouflaged in anonymity, and now it's not aim That's.
- 6:49Speaker 1: How we knew.
- 6:54Speaker 4: I don't know who we're talking about.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Uh, my wife got on my daughter last week
- 7:00Speaker 1: because my daughter put a pad in the toilet and
- 7:04Speaker 1: then left it there. Number one, you doing and she
- 7:10Speaker 1: threw the I guess the wrapper for the pad in
- 7:12Speaker 1: there as well. That's where that goes. So you'll you'll
- 7:16Speaker 1: appreciate this. My wife made her fish it out good.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Oh there you go. You won't do that again, yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 4: kitchen tongs.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I'm like, what do you? What do you? Don't do anything?
- 7:29Speaker 1: She's handling this? Hang on and she went and she
- 7:32Speaker 1: found her and she dragged her back upstairs.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Hey, that's the kind of parenting.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I like, was that a crazy thing or because she
- 7:38Speaker 5: didn't know better?
- 7:39Speaker 1: I think she knows better. I don't know. I'm not
- 7:42Speaker 1: I've not had the what do you do with your pads?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Conversation with my daughter?
- 7:46Speaker 4: A rapper plastic anyway, Like you should know not to
- 7:48Speaker 4: flush plastic?
- 7:49Speaker 1: Right's just garbage? Does she flushed dental fluss? And I
- 7:54Speaker 1: don't know? Maybe tis I have no idea what was
- 7:56Speaker 1: what's going to that bathroom down there? When it comes
- 7:59Speaker 1: to it's happening in the baths and the showers and
- 8:02Speaker 1: the kids end of things, that's your business. When they're
- 8:04Speaker 1: both teenagers, I'm choosing to ignore and be ideas will
- 8:08Speaker 1: ignorance the only reason I know about this because my
- 8:10Speaker 1: wife was bitching about it.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that would suck to have to share for both
- 8:13Speaker 3: of them to have to suck to share your bathroom
- 8:15Speaker 3: with a teenage other sex.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah all they are. We all did that right eight
- 8:21Speaker 1: seven seven forty four Woody.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I basically am no social text.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah, ton thats stile. I sent a text over to
- 8:28Speaker 1: two two nine eighty seven more what he shows next?
- 8:31Speaker 7: Thing?
- 8:36Speaker 1: What's up? Podcast listeners? It's menace. Do you remember when
- 8:39Speaker 1: I walked forty miles in one day and you watched
- 8:42Speaker 1: it live on the internet. I did that with mint Mobile. Yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 1: every single phone that was streaming that day, I was
- 8:49Speaker 1: using the mint Mobile network. And the reason I did
- 8:52Speaker 1: that is because I paid for every phone myself and
- 8:55Speaker 1: I needed a reliable network. But also I didn't want
- 8:58Speaker 1: to break the bank. You know, you can get unlimited
- 9:01Speaker 1: for fifteen bucks a month. Look at your phone bill
- 9:04Speaker 1: right now, and I'm sure maybe you might be paying
- 9:06Speaker 1: for somebody else as well, and you might think, oh,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it's just too hard to switch.
- 9:10Speaker 4: No it's not.
- 9:10Speaker 1: You can easily do it online. They'll show you how
- 9:12Speaker 1: to do it. Why pay all that money? Check out
- 9:15Speaker 1: how much you can save at this special website, mint
- 9:18Speaker 1: mobile dot com slash woody. That's mint mobile dot com
- 9:23Speaker 1: slash woody. Just compare what you'll get for what you're
- 9:27Speaker 1: paying now mint mobile dot com slash Woody. Don't even
- 9:32Speaker 1: know what that means. No one knows what it means,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but it's pur Fock's people going going. All right, we
- 9:42Speaker 1: got the birthdays and the porno birthday coming up for
- 9:46Speaker 1: you here in just a few moments. Got a couple
- 9:51Speaker 1: of things to talk about, things that are happening in
- 9:53Speaker 1: the world of entertainment. So Bike Dance, the company that
- 9:58Speaker 1: you know, the Hey I TikTok made that video of
- 10:00Speaker 1: Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt fighting.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Which is amazing, specifically, yeah, the fight Dancer.
- 10:05Speaker 1: They've they're now being threatened by Disney and other Hollywood
- 10:09Speaker 1: studios for infringing on their intellectual properties, which they did.
- 10:14Speaker 4: But guess what the gene's are the bottle So.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Yeah, so like, okay, so what are they supposed to do? Though?
- 10:19Speaker 1: This is what we've been saying. It's just like you
- 10:22Speaker 1: can't stop it, and then when we try to regulate
- 10:24Speaker 1: it so much in America, we're just gonna fall behind.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But one of my My thing is like let's say,
- 10:29Speaker 1: let's say it is your like you know, your face,
- 10:31Speaker 1: your yeah, your property, like your franchise. You're just supposed
- 10:35Speaker 1: to go whatever. No, well I get that too. What's
- 10:38Speaker 1: his name, McConaughey. He did this where he James Again,
- 10:42Speaker 1: this is coming out of China. They don't know who
- 10:44Speaker 1: you're gonna sue.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Yeah, right, so yeah, so you might not have Tom
- 10:48Speaker 3: Cruise versus Brad Pitt in a Chinese movie, but they're
- 10:51Speaker 3: gonna create whatever they want.
- 10:53Speaker 4: That's close to that, all right.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You know, I don't know what the answer is. You
- 10:58Speaker 1: got to that. I think they have to. They have
- 11:01Speaker 1: to at least file something. They should do McConaughey, for sure,
- 11:04Speaker 1: if they're an actor and just copyright like everything about
- 11:09Speaker 1: yourself and then try to sue a Chinese company and
- 11:12Speaker 1: see how that goes. But pretty much that's all you
- 11:15Speaker 1: can do.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Right because the you know, the A there's no AI
- 11:17Speaker 3: in the current union contracts for the actors and writers
- 11:19Speaker 3: and stuff like that. But it's gonna be it's gonna
- 11:21Speaker 3: be used.
- 11:22Speaker 7: You know.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I was thinking about this the other day, like we we
- 11:24Speaker 3: accept cg you know, in Jurassic Park and toy story
- 11:27Speaker 3: and whatever.
- 11:28Speaker 4: This is just a little more.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Cgu Cardi b has confirmed her break up with Stuff
- 11:32Speaker 1: on Stuff.
- 11:33Speaker 4: On digs right after the Super I didn't win.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Anderson Cooper is leaving sixty Minutes after nearly twenty years, right,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I didn't even know he was on sixty Minutes. I
- 11:43Speaker 1: mean I haven't watched sixty Minutes, and I guess I
- 11:46Speaker 1: didn't either. I thought he just did his own thing.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a cake gig because you know, you just
- 11:51Speaker 4: show up voiceover.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And read a writer wrote. Is that is that the
- 11:56Speaker 1: way it works?
- 11:56Speaker 7: Her?
- 11:56Speaker 1: I thought they were all doing like stories.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I remember, like, yeah, but a lot of it is.
- 12:00Speaker 4: But he's not researching.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, to B is adding a ton of Cartoon Network
- 12:06Speaker 1: shows on March first. You can check that out now.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Angelina Joe Lee says that she doesn't recognize her country
- 12:11Speaker 1: and she plans to move out of the US in July.
- 12:14Speaker 1: She's leaving. Yeah. Also, Justin Timberlake has given Jessica Bielle
- 12:18Speaker 1: several reasons not to trust him over the years, Like
- 12:20Speaker 1: he was photographed cuddling up to a co star Day
- 12:24Speaker 1: New Orleans back in twenty nineteen, so he got that
- 12:26Speaker 1: d Y in twenty twenty four, so not surprising that
- 12:29Speaker 1: she's got him on a pretty tight leash. She's got
- 12:31Speaker 1: full access to his phone and his social media if
- 12:35Speaker 1: she wants, she just has to like say, hey, give
- 12:38Speaker 1: me the phone. She looks right, you know, through his stuff.
- 12:40Speaker 4: You know he has a burner phone.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Also, boys nights are now totally off limits, and she
- 12:45Speaker 1: knows where Justin is at all times. And his friends,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I guess are making jokes that he's on permanent probation,
- 12:51Speaker 1: like if you can't be trusted well, I mean he
- 12:53Speaker 1: put himself in that position around turn up? Yeah yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: uh menace, Yes what you got for?
- 13:05Speaker 4: Speaking of turning up?
- 13:06Speaker 1: Have you seen the photos that have come out of
- 13:08Speaker 1: New Orleans with Shila Buff? Pardon it up?
- 13:15Speaker 4: I love his uh his hat.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, he probably a little too hard and he
- 13:20Speaker 1: ended up getting arrested, Yeah, because he got in a
- 13:24Speaker 1: little scuffle. Let me ask a question. I remember, you
- 13:26Speaker 1: know at one point Shila Buff was kind of everywhere.
- 13:29Speaker 1: At this point, why does anybody care or do they care? Ironically?
- 13:33Speaker 4: I think it's train wreck carring?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Well, yeah, like there's some this weird nostalgia with him.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Where people are still fans like holes.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Even Stevens.
- 13:44Speaker 6: He was a Disney Channel kid, so he had Even
- 13:47Speaker 6: Stephens show on Disney Channel and he was Lewis Stevens.
- 13:50Speaker 8: I grew up watching it all the time.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I have always.
- 13:53Speaker 6: Loved Shyla buff And then he was in Transformers and
- 13:56Speaker 6: he you know, and then he turned crazy like oh no, so.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Shilah buv I only became aware of him when he
- 14:02Speaker 1: was doing Transformers. Before that was all that Disney Channel stuff.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And we had him on the show. I remember, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 1: we did we oh yeah, And he was like so
- 14:14Speaker 1: hostile and we're just asking and because he wasn't the
- 14:18Speaker 1: person like where you like now like you talk to
- 14:21Speaker 1: Shilah lof you can goof on him about a lot
- 14:23Speaker 1: of stuff. There wasn't much really go fund at that point.
- 14:25Speaker 1: We were literally just talking to him about Transformers. And
- 14:28Speaker 1: there was a guy Tony who was on our show
- 14:30Speaker 1: at that point who was a big Transformers guy, and
- 14:32Speaker 1: he was asking questions about different things. He goes, well,
- 14:35Speaker 1: you know, why does this this transformer now turn into
- 14:38Speaker 1: this when before they were doing this and you know,
- 14:42Speaker 1: we were so serious. We got yeah, we got two
- 14:44Speaker 1: really good clips from him out of this one.
- 14:47Speaker 2: One that I use on the almost every day.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Which is dead Deriel. That's dead Deel. So you might
- 14:53Speaker 1: hear us say, and Greg is a person who says
- 14:55Speaker 1: all the time like, oh no, dude, I'm serious, like, dude,
- 14:58Speaker 1: dead Dereel. So here's the it is dead to Reel. Yeah,
- 15:01Speaker 1: so it means it's nuclear. That's Shia on our show
- 15:05Speaker 1: defending his version of Transformers, Yeah, saying that the Transformers
- 15:09Speaker 1: was dead. Yeah, it's not a documentary.
- 15:11Speaker 4: We're not rewriting history.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And then when asked about you know why you know
- 15:15Speaker 1: somebody now is turning from this that, he goes, well,
- 15:17Speaker 1: because if it was I forget what it was from
- 15:19Speaker 1: to whatever was going to be, he goes, that would
- 15:21Speaker 1: be completely retarded. That would be completely retarded, completely retarded.
- 15:29Speaker 1: If it turned into a gun, that would be completely retarded.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I do love this Shia story though, because Kanye has
- 15:40Speaker 1: been allegedly known to lift like a lot of his
- 15:43Speaker 1: fashion stuff from other people, and Shia shared a story
- 15:48Speaker 1: that Kanye came to his house and said, oh, I
- 15:51Speaker 1: really like the way you dress, blah blah, and Shia goes, yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you can, you can have some of my stuff if
- 15:56Speaker 1: you want it, and he he left and he came
- 15:59Speaker 1: back home and he took all of his clothes, and
- 16:01Speaker 1: if you look at the timeline, Kanye started dressing like
- 16:05Speaker 1: Shia like after that meeting, Hey, Shia, what is uh like?
- 16:10Speaker 1: How would you categorize?
- 16:12Speaker 9: Uh?
- 16:12Speaker 1: You know Kanye West? You heard it here? Yeah, Greg Gory,
- 16:18Speaker 1: what you got?
- 16:18Speaker 2: Well, there's this show I watched on TV called King
- 16:21Speaker 2: of Collectibles, The Golden Touch. It's this dude, Ken Golden.
- 16:24Speaker 4: It's kind of like Park Stars in this stuff.
- 16:27Speaker 2: On the just on the greatest networks in the world
- 16:29Speaker 2: to it's kind of like Pond Stars. But this guy
- 16:32Speaker 2: owns the biggest sports and movie memorabilia auction house, Ken
- 16:36Speaker 2: Golden Auctions. So he had Logan Paul on his show
- 16:40Speaker 2: on a recent after heard about Well, he's friends with
- 16:44Speaker 2: celebrities and sports stars and this, that and the other,
- 16:46Speaker 2: and he wanted so badly for Logan Paul to sell
- 16:50Speaker 2: his Pokemon card that he bought back in twenty twenty
- 16:52Speaker 2: one for five point twenty seven five million bucks.
- 16:55Speaker 1: He worred around his neck on a chain and people
- 16:57Speaker 1: thought he was crazy too. We're spending that kind of
- 16:59Speaker 1: money time five point whatever.
- 17:01Speaker 2: It was right, and Ken was trying to get him
- 17:04Speaker 2: to sell it, and you could see that it was
- 17:07Speaker 2: painful for Logan to make the decision. He finally gave
- 17:10Speaker 2: in and said, okay, I'll sell it because that was
- 17:13Speaker 2: his prize possession. So the auction just closed and it
- 17:16Speaker 2: got auctioned off for sixteen point five million dollars. Yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 2: it's this uh like, it's called the Atsuko Nishata card.
- 17:28Speaker 2: This is has a rating of ten.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a rare Japanese card. Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So the buyer, by the way, was this venture capitalist
- 17:36Speaker 2: named aj Scaramucci.
- 17:38Speaker 10: It's a holographic card that has like Pikachu holding a pen.
- 17:41Speaker 10: It's just super rare and yeah, so much money.
- 17:44Speaker 1: The king come thirteen point three million as his share
- 17:47Speaker 1: of the winning bid.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:48Speaker 4: God, but I didn't for him.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I didn't think he was going to even agree to
- 17:51Speaker 2: sell it. And then Ken Golden said, here, I'll give
- 17:54Speaker 2: you a million up front and then you can keep
- 17:57Speaker 2: that regardless of what it sells for. And then I
- 17:59Speaker 2: think they bargained it up to like two millions, so
- 18:01Speaker 2: we route him a check for two million bucks. It's
- 18:04Speaker 2: pretty crazy, damn. And I didn't think Logan was even
- 18:06Speaker 2: the greatest salad. He was almost crying when he took
- 18:09Speaker 2: it off because he worred around her.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Did you ever think he would be that enthralled by Logan?
- 18:13Speaker 7: Paul?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and a Pokemon. No, That's why I was shocked.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, Genie Grad, what you got?
- 18:23Speaker 4: R Kellys in solitary confinement?
- 18:26Speaker 7: Yep.
- 18:26Speaker 4: He's under investigation at the prison in North Carolina after
- 18:30Speaker 4: a staff found a retired warden's phone number written in
- 18:33Speaker 4: his notebook, so his his uh selly, I guess had
- 18:37Speaker 4: some contraband. So they tossed the cell and found this,
- 18:40Speaker 4: and they was like no, no, no, no. Apparently he just
- 18:43Speaker 4: gave it to him so they could stay in touch
- 18:44Speaker 4: for a mentoring program, so R. Kelly could be a mentor.
- 18:48Speaker 4: But they said that's probably BS. So they found this.
- 18:52Speaker 4: The Bureau of Prisons hasn't commented on anything, but they
- 18:55Speaker 4: said they're keeping that. Kelly is currently serving you know,
- 18:58Speaker 4: his lengthy sentence, but they're keeping him away from everyone
- 19:01Speaker 4: while they try and figure this out.
- 19:02Speaker 1: How long is he supposed to be in jail anyway,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and how long has he already been there? Like it
- 19:06Speaker 1: was thirty years, right, Okay, that he's supposed to be it.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And then what about Jared from Subway? How long is he?
- 19:11Speaker 4: Oh we talked about that. Not that much longer. Yeah, yeah, good,
- 19:14Speaker 4: we need him back. Yeah, and R Kelly is serving
- 19:17Speaker 4: thirty one years.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Jared from Subway can get out and they can
- 19:20Speaker 1: relaunch Quiznos. Remember how like the can you hear me now?
- 19:24Speaker 1: Guy from Verizon? You switched? Oh yeah he did his sprint? Yeah, yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I sprint. Yeah, that's right. Like, so Jared can get
- 19:30Speaker 1: out and then maybe he can do like you know, uh,
- 19:32Speaker 1: Jersey Firehouse subs.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Bury them for more years.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Wow, Hey, Jared's back for the dead. So is Quiznos. Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 1: gas station sandwiches. Hell yeah, man, all right, time for
- 19:48Speaker 1: your birthdays show. It's sumars and you know we don't
- 19:58Speaker 1: do well. Start with the celebrities. Happy birthday to doctor
- 20:02Speaker 1: Dre who's sixty one today. John Travolta is seventy two today.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Banda White the Real Fortune, your buddy. Yeah, guess how
- 20:12Speaker 1: old Vanna White to say? Greg, you're so good at this.

- 20:33Speaker 1: Sybil Shepherd is seventy six, Dennis de Young for Styx
- 20:37Speaker 1: is seventy nine, and Yoko Ono is ninety three. Whoam
- 20:42Speaker 1: ninety three years old? She is your porn o birthday
- 20:45Speaker 1: is Jill Cassidy and today's birthday girl. She has seen
- 20:48Speaker 1: more balls in a driving range in six hundred and
- 20:51Speaker 1: eighty two fine films, including International House of Cream Pies.
- 20:56Speaker 1: She was an awesome office Foursome Volume one, So White
- 21:00Speaker 1: Girls Love Asian Dong. She was in It's Stuck. Also
- 21:07Speaker 1: Your Load Is Mine Volume one, Bush Friends Forever, she
- 21:12Speaker 1: was in Bedding Vowels and uh who can forget her
- 21:15Speaker 1: unfriittable role you guys, and stop jamming on that guitar
- 21:18Speaker 1: and jam that penis in there? Yeah, that is Jill
- 21:22Speaker 1: Cassile who's twenty nine years old, And that is your
- 21:26Speaker 1: porn of birthday, your celebrity birthdays, and that is it
- 21:28Speaker 1: Wednesday morning. Look what's happening in the world of entertainment?
- 21:37Speaker 1: Can I offer you a nice egg. In this trying
- 21:39Speaker 1: to the Woody Show.
- 21:43Speaker 2: China.
- 21:43Speaker 1: There's a little music from Want to Sea, Master's Favorite's
- 21:46Speaker 1: Always Sunny in Philadelphia, blos from as well and uh oh,
- 21:51Speaker 1: speaking of TV, So Greg got a new TV that
- 21:55Speaker 1: he bought a Facebook marketplace. Rules in uh it's like
- 22:00Speaker 1: one of those frame TV and he got one of
- 22:03Speaker 1: those Facebook marketplace. It's a hot and stolen deal. Alleged
- 22:10Speaker 1: four hundred. I think it was two hundred. For what size?
- 22:16Speaker 1: You would hate it? Menace?
- 22:17Speaker 2: It's small. I believe it's I want to say forty five.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Oh maybe maybe forty what's for a tiny? Maybe that's
- 22:27Speaker 2: it right there.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I think it's a forty five. I believe it's not.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You can't even say it's not big. Yeah, but Greg
- 22:34Speaker 1: had this TV installed and who's surprised? Greg is lost
- 22:40Speaker 1: with the cables and stuff.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Mario goes up with the guy that was installing it,
- 22:43Speaker 2: because I mean, it was a professional job like that
- 22:46Speaker 2: had to be put on the studs and put an
- 22:48Speaker 2: electrical box.
- 22:49Speaker 1: One of those three M three M strips to attach
- 22:52Speaker 1: a forty totally lots of duct takes.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Mario yells down from upstairs, do we have an H
- 23:01Speaker 2: G M I cable in that drawer was called a
- 23:03Speaker 2: c M H D M I.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Okay, I think, said h GM I g M I.
- 23:08Speaker 2: And so I opened the drawer and I said, is
- 23:11Speaker 2: that the one that is the yellow one that looks
- 23:13Speaker 2: like the old phone.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Jack one perfectly reasonable, or the black one that looks
- 23:18Speaker 1: like your computer mouse. It's like neither.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I'm like, just come down here and look. Okay for real,
- 23:27Speaker 2: a normal person know what an.
- 23:29Speaker 1: H guy you're in the you guys standard cable. It's
- 23:35Speaker 1: it's the it's the standard cable. Coax was the standard
- 23:40Speaker 1: you know whatever.
- 23:40Speaker 4: For the long time.
- 23:41Speaker 1: You would have to refresh coax cable. Yeah, okay, that
- 23:46Speaker 1: I know, like the little like pin that sticks out
- 23:48Speaker 1: and has the screw screwy. Yeah. And then also like
- 23:53Speaker 1: the the red, the white and the yellow cord and
- 23:56Speaker 1: that all kind of a bladed together. Also they is
- 24:00Speaker 1: quite large, and it usually says hum I on the cable.
- 24:04Speaker 4: It does, Yeah, isn't she with like lots of little
- 24:07Speaker 4: like pins in it. Pin looks it.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Looks like it almost looks like a USB but large. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 1: it looks like with you Greg.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah, all no kidding. So he went out and bought
- 24:16Speaker 2: one and I never saw it. I still don't know
- 24:18Speaker 2: what one looks.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Oh, but I can get an expensive one because they
- 24:22Speaker 1: can find super cheap to really expense I think it
- 24:25Speaker 1: was like thirty bucks. Is that normal or is that cheap?
- 24:29Speaker 1: You can get much cheaper. But oh yeah, it depends
- 24:32Speaker 1: on where you go too, because a lot of times, man,
- 24:34Speaker 1: you'll go to like a like a best Buy or whatever,
- 24:36Speaker 1: and the ones they sell there are crazy expensive and
- 24:38Speaker 1: they'll say, oh, it's gold dish with a bogus Yeah
- 24:42Speaker 1: it doesn't. It doesn't make it if you have the
- 24:44Speaker 1: cheap ones though, I best Buy as well. You just
- 24:45Speaker 1: got to look for them. It's an't matter.
- 24:47Speaker 4: No you don't get gold plated, no, I.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Mean you can't. You can get like super cheapy ones
- 24:52Speaker 1: that aren't going to be great. I mean, like we're
- 24:54Speaker 1: talking about like bargain basement ones. But like you know what,
- 24:57Speaker 1: actually they make a lot of really good stuff, just
- 24:59Speaker 1: that Amazon BA six. Oh, like a lot of that
- 25:02Speaker 1: stuff is good. Yeah, right, Like like phone charging cables.
- 25:05Speaker 1: You know, sometimes you buy one of those and they
- 25:08Speaker 1: crap out within like you know, a few weeks or whatever.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Like the phone charging cables won't work with this anymore.
- 25:16Speaker 1: But it's it's not that like it won't like communicate
- 25:19Speaker 1: correctly with the with the phone, Like there's there's something
- 25:22Speaker 1: within like the the iPhones or whatever. And if it's
- 25:26Speaker 1: not compatible, like sometimes it'll like disable this cors. Oh,
- 25:29Speaker 1: this is not an official chord. That's my understanding.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Like I know Menace would know all that stuff like
- 25:35Speaker 2: that's kind of goes without saying. But just Joe blow
- 25:38Speaker 2: note Morgan, would you know what an HDMI cable?
- 25:40Speaker 5: I would Yeah, that's one of the few that I
- 25:43Speaker 5: think I would know.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, I'm curious. I do love and support. I
- 25:50Speaker 1: wouldn't think any different that you wouldn't do this, But
- 25:52Speaker 1: putting the power outlet behind the TV. People don't realize
- 25:56Speaker 1: how affordable that is, but yet they still don't do it.
- 25:59Speaker 1: They will mount or television and still have a cable
- 26:02Speaker 1: hanging down below. Well, I think it depends if you're
- 26:06Speaker 1: renting or if you own. If you own, there is
- 26:09Speaker 1: no excuse. Yeah, like zero, it's not like if you're
- 26:12Speaker 1: gonna have that TV up there. The reason otherwise just
- 26:15Speaker 1: put it on a stand and we knew that some
- 26:17Speaker 1: day we would have a TV there so we had
- 26:19Speaker 1: the outlet put there.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Oh no, but some day to come and I'm going
- 26:24Speaker 4: to raise you one and what do you I don't
- 26:25Speaker 4: know if you remember what my TV looks like, but
- 26:27Speaker 4: ours are wires and cables are like in the wall. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:32Speaker 4: can you rent? But but what if we want a
- 26:35Speaker 4: different TV? Most places, if you want a different do
- 26:38Speaker 4: you get in there?
- 26:39Speaker 1: You can easily do that because the cables are already
- 26:41Speaker 1: runing specially yeah, because they get they go to somewhere else.
- 26:43Speaker 11: Right they must just I'm like fantasy laddict because they
- 26:47Speaker 11: go to probably so they're like, uh, you know, if
- 26:51Speaker 11: I'm remembering how your setup is, Like the square they
- 26:53Speaker 11: have like a built in entertainment center which was very
- 26:57Speaker 11: big I would say, like the late nineties, early two thousands,
- 27:00Speaker 11: and so the cables and run behind it like autumn
- 27:04Speaker 11: like through the wall, and so it'll come out the
- 27:06Speaker 11: other end for where that's where you hook up like
- 27:08Speaker 11: like a box or whatever.
- 27:09Speaker 1: The other end is one of your cabinets.
- 27:11Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, So either either you're going to take that whole
- 27:14Speaker 1: thing and can change that hole set up completely, or
- 27:17Speaker 1: if you wanted to pull a different cable through, you
- 27:19Speaker 1: can literally tie tape the new cable to the one
- 27:23Speaker 1: end of the of the old one, pull it through
- 27:26Speaker 1: so it comes all the way through and it fishes
- 27:28Speaker 1: through the wall.
- 27:29Speaker 4: I like that, Thank you, that's helpful.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're you're right. I mean that is like
- 27:34Speaker 1: when you see the TV.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Down and you on your place and you can change it,
- 27:40Speaker 4: Like would you want to look it up?
- 27:42Speaker 1: Look it up? You can get installed super cheap.
- 27:44Speaker 6: Oh yeah, like one hundred and fifty bucks.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes sometimes, yeah, say sometimes even cheaper.
- 27:49Speaker 5: What should I do?
- 27:50Speaker 13: Because minutes I'm about to have a TV in my
- 27:52Speaker 13: room finally, yeah, first time. But the outlet, like if
- 27:56Speaker 13: it was mounted, you would see the cord hanging down.
- 27:59Speaker 4: But I feel like it's not a.
- 28:00Speaker 5: Big enough to put a table or is it that.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Big of a deal?
- 28:03Speaker 14: Do you care?
- 28:04Speaker 5: It looks ghetto? What I mean like, look, but in
- 28:08Speaker 5: that case, do I just like fill the room up
- 28:10Speaker 5: with more furniture. But that's what I'm saying.
- 28:12Speaker 1: What's your other choice? What I would say, Morgan t
- 28:14Speaker 1: I would just risk it and just get installed. Is
- 28:18Speaker 1: it a smart TV? How old is the TV? Like
- 28:21Speaker 1: a smart like bird? It's got like uh apps on it?
- 28:23Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a smart TV.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Okay, so couldn't you sit it on an entertainment center?
- 28:27Speaker 5: I could put my room small.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Like my question is like, why would you even have
- 28:31Speaker 1: to hook up anything to it? Like you can?
- 28:32Speaker 4: Actually, she's saying, the power the power out.
- 28:35Speaker 13: Literally, if it gets mounted, you're gonna see the cord
- 28:39Speaker 13: down to the corner.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Don't they have those little cord covers. That's very often.
- 28:47Speaker 1: There's so many people listening right now, like, oh, that's
- 28:49Speaker 1: on my TV.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Morgan, you don't have a dresser to put it on? No, No,
- 28:53Speaker 5: it's going to take up more room in the room.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I say, just risk it and installing.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Can you do it like the dentist office where it's
- 28:59Speaker 4: like mounted in the corner of the ceiling.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Would still be coming down like that.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I'm with menace. I think what you do is, because
- 29:07Speaker 1: it's so common now, right, just get the outlet installed, right,
- 29:11Speaker 1: the power out because there's a power level below like
- 29:13Speaker 1: a normal level on the wall down toward the bottom.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Because they're going all they're going to do is they're
- 29:18Speaker 1: going to jump it off that outlet.
- 29:19Speaker 4: But is that gonna be an issue for a renter?
- 29:21Speaker 13: Right?
- 29:21Speaker 1: Well, what I'm saying is she does it and then
- 29:23Speaker 1: if they say anything, no, that was there when I
- 29:25Speaker 1: moved in.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Yeah, or.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Give one of those covers that will cover the outlet
- 29:29Speaker 1: after you move out.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yeah, they like, you're welcome. I gave you a new
- 29:32Speaker 4: outlet exactly.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I don't think anybody's actually going to say anything.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Honestly, I think you're right.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Like, if I just did it, they would like it.
- 29:38Speaker 5: When I move out, they would never even notice.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Because where you want the TV, is it a sensible
- 29:42Speaker 2: place for a future resident? They would also want the
- 29:44Speaker 2: TV in that spot. Yeah, so you're doing them a favor.
- 29:46Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, don't you have a man you live with
- 29:49Speaker 5: now can take care of this for you. Yeah, we'll
- 29:53Speaker 5: see if you can.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Do lift the TV.
- 29:59Speaker 1: He does have a bum mass arm, no muscle, dude. Yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 1: we haven't talked about that. His arm is jacked, Like
- 30:04Speaker 1: if you look at it, he can't even put it
- 30:06Speaker 1: out totally straight.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Did he break it at some point or I think
- 30:09Speaker 4: he did. I don't remember how it's born broken?
- 30:12Speaker 12: Short?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yeah, hit us over with the text over to two
- 30:14Speaker 1: to nine eight seven more what he shows next hand?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Wood The Woody Show will be right back The Woody

- 30:32Speaker 1: Correct World. Remind me I have something to tell you

- 30:40Speaker 1: right there, Gina. Grid's gonna have the training news headlines
- 30:43Speaker 1: for us. Here in a second. We've got Sea Bass,
- 30:45Speaker 1: We've got Sammy Morgan is here. Phones here up in
- 30:48Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four, Woody text us check in
- 30:51Speaker 1: two to nine eight seven finals, follow us on social media.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Look force there at the Woody Show. Yeah, so every
- 30:59Speaker 1: once in a while, I guess asked to do interviews
- 31:01Speaker 1: for these different you know, radio trade publications and whatever.
- 31:06Speaker 1: One of the questions I just got I was talking
- 31:09Speaker 1: to this dude Yesterday's writing a little article about the show.
- 31:14Speaker 1: So I noticed, at the beginning of every Hour, you say,
- 31:16Speaker 1: insensitivity training for a politically correct world. What exactly does
- 31:20Speaker 1: that mean? Right? Like I kind of figured it's one
- 31:23Speaker 1: of those super obvious the politically sensitive. But yeah, like
- 31:31Speaker 1: if we're just having conversations and not being all like,
- 31:33Speaker 1: you know, concerned about how people take it, Yeah, we're
- 31:37Speaker 1: coming at it from a from a from a position
- 31:39Speaker 1: of authenticity and real talk, real opinions. Yeah, we're not
- 31:44Speaker 1: couching things to you know, not offend or what we're
- 31:46Speaker 1: just having like an honest not going out of our
- 31:48Speaker 1: way to offend. But that's you know what what it
- 31:52Speaker 1: used to be in the nineties was you know, uh,
- 31:55Speaker 1: strippers and like really and you know what, any you know,
- 32:00Speaker 1: it gets you labeled, and that term shock jock, you know,
- 32:02Speaker 1: it gets you labeled as a shock jock. Now is
- 32:05Speaker 1: having and people say they value authenticity and real opinions
- 32:10Speaker 1: and things like that until they hear them and then
- 32:13Speaker 1: all of a sudden it's like, well, you shouldn't say that,
- 32:15Speaker 1: or you shouldn't so that becomes that becomes shocking. And
- 32:19Speaker 1: I said, well, I said, in a in a world
- 32:22Speaker 1: of trigger warnings, what was the thing you you you
- 32:25Speaker 1: had something you posted, you thought or you said it
- 32:27Speaker 1: to us, you thought it was really funny? Like I
- 32:29Speaker 1: love that they gave this movie a rating because of oh.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Bad weather, yeah, like Twister or something extreme weather, extream weather.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So they have to warn people that in this movie
- 32:44Speaker 1: or whatever, there's hey, guys, extreme weathers depicted. Well, I
- 32:50Speaker 1: think they're disasking because they wanted your definition of it. Well,
- 32:53Speaker 1: so I you know, I said, like in a world
- 32:56Speaker 1: of trigger warnings for everything. If anything, it saves me
- 32:59Speaker 1: a converse station, you know where people go. I tuned
- 33:03Speaker 1: in this even though we still get those that you
- 33:05Speaker 1: hear the crossroads and stuff. I tuned in and I heard, well, yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 1: I mean, you know, we tell you right on the
- 33:12Speaker 1: front door. It's on the label. It says, you know,
- 33:14Speaker 1: world's best burgers. So when you come in here and
- 33:17Speaker 1: you find that we serve meat products or you know, like,
- 33:19Speaker 1: where's the shock? Yeah? Anyway, so that I thought that
- 33:23Speaker 1: was kind of a silly question. What exactly does that mean?
- 33:26Speaker 1: What do you mean? What does it mean? Insensitivity training
- 33:29Speaker 1: for a politically correct world? The way? Nice guy, and
- 33:32Speaker 1: you know, very nice. And I'm grateful that anybody cares
- 33:37Speaker 1: to even talk to us about the show. Yeah. Oh,
- 33:41Speaker 1: and then and then next week I'm going to be
- 33:44Speaker 1: out for a couple of days. Next Thursday Friday, I'll
- 33:48Speaker 1: be out because I'm gonna speak on this panel. So
- 33:52Speaker 1: you guys, this is another conversation I had to have.
- 33:55Speaker 1: You guys are gonna have to do the show those
- 33:57Speaker 1: two days without me here? Okay?
- 34:01Speaker 14: God?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Yeah, So I was I was asked about a full
- 34:04Speaker 1: plan about what it was happening, and you know what's
- 34:07Speaker 1: gonna be happening on those days, and you know it
- 34:10Speaker 1: is the rest of the show. Are we doing that
- 34:12Speaker 1: or are we gonna do Every time you've been you've
- 34:16Speaker 1: been part of these conversations before, every time I said,
- 34:18Speaker 1: you know what, I think they can do it. So
- 34:22Speaker 1: just to get again, everybody, everybody will still be here
- 34:26Speaker 1: next week.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Confidence has changed at all, Like.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Dude, the dumbest conversations I find myself in after the
- 34:36Speaker 1: show every day, every day, although again I'm not it
- 34:40Speaker 1: wasn't a dumb conversation. It was just interesting, you know,
- 34:43Speaker 1: having to explain insensitivity training for a politically correct world.
- 34:47Speaker 2: What bothers me is when people say, somebody says something
- 34:50Speaker 2: and you get it, and you say getting, what does
- 34:52Speaker 2: that mean?
- 34:58Speaker 1: We get that a lot. That's that's a very common question,
- 35:02Speaker 1: you guys. What do you mean getting it means? I'm getting.
- 35:07Speaker 1: I'm surprised that you're not getting at when it comes
- 35:10Speaker 1: to getting, for example, you're not getting right like right now,
- 35:13Speaker 1: you're not getting at all. Maybe someday you'll get Today
- 35:19Speaker 1: it's not today, but maybe someday you'll get You'll be
- 35:22Speaker 1: in the state of getting Yeah, like when you go
- 35:24Speaker 1: like I get it, or when you make a very
- 35:28Speaker 1: obvious show like go get it because blah blah blah.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We're just taking out the because of the explanations, and.
- 35:35Speaker 2: We can't reach that because she's short getting Yeah, what's
- 35:38Speaker 2: the matter to I mean getting get it? She's short. Yeah,
- 35:42Speaker 2: let's get the tallest man in the world in here.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Because any other questions that we can we can answer
- 35:46Speaker 4: for anybody, any any other questions something you're not getting, Yeah,
- 35:51Speaker 4: something that we can we.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Can help you out with. Let us know.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's hoy h h o y h o y.
- 35:58Speaker 4: What do you mean by when you say, somebody, what
- 36:01Speaker 4: do you show me?
- 36:03Speaker 2: Love me?
- 36:05Speaker 1: Both those actually come from Greg and his communications with
- 36:08Speaker 1: his partner Mario. Yeah, and hoy is just a replacement
- 36:13Speaker 1: for hello, hi, and it got changed dives saying me
- 36:18Speaker 1: love instead of love you. It's just damn cute. Yeah.
- 36:21Speaker 1: What's the other one that you guys do? Now? It's uh,
- 36:23Speaker 1: we do all babe, we do hoy.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Oh Yeah, that's been a while.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Yeah, No, there's there's something else. It's not not like
- 36:30Speaker 1: not like yaes or, but it's something Yeah. Yeah, so
- 36:36Speaker 1: spelled k y o T K y O T. But
- 36:39Speaker 1: that's shoot shout, Oh that shirt is cut. They have
- 36:44Speaker 1: their own they have their own Yeah, they have their
- 36:47Speaker 1: own language. Yeah, you'll be getting soon. What does I
- 36:50Speaker 1: like that mean? Yeah? When you say where the food out?
- 36:56Speaker 1: What are you asking for? What are you.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Anyway that we could be you know, helpful, useful to you?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Uh? You know, we we we just you know, we
- 37:08Speaker 1: appreciate the support. Again, the question for the guy great.
- 37:11Speaker 1: You know, I appreciate the opportunity to Again, I'm I'm
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'm always surprised when anybody even wants to talk about
- 37:18Speaker 1: the show. You know, like we're having fun and we're
- 37:21Speaker 1: doing things. I don't really think it's anything like outrageously
- 37:24Speaker 1: you know, groundbreaking, neat more interesting to other to other people.
- 37:29Speaker 1: But I you know, I'm always appreciative. We don't get
- 37:31Speaker 1: a lot of those, you know, opportunities compared to a
- 37:35Speaker 1: lot of other you know, shows and things like that.
- 37:37Speaker 1: So it's cool anyway anything we can do that's a
- 37:40Speaker 1: that's great. We did get a question here on text
- 37:43Speaker 1: what do you mean by oh when something's old? Timing? Question?
- 37:48Speaker 4: That's true?
- 37:48Speaker 1: Is it especially where it started? I mean it does it?
- 37:55Speaker 4: I know it now.
- 37:56Speaker 5: I mean it was just old timey yeah, like what
- 37:59Speaker 5: people do you know what.
- 38:02Speaker 9: It is.
- 38:03Speaker 1: So there's a woman who used to do movie reviews
- 38:05Speaker 1: on our show many many years ago, and her name
- 38:08Speaker 1: is Jan Wall. She she's the hat Lady because she
- 38:11Speaker 1: always words, he's like crazy like almost derby hats very
- 38:14Speaker 1: much and uh like instead of giving it you know
- 38:17Speaker 1: stars or you know, on your one to ten rating,
- 38:20Speaker 1: she would give it like a number of hats. I
- 38:22Speaker 1: give this movie three hats.
- 38:24Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 1: And she was very much her personality very much inspired
- 38:29Speaker 1: by this old timey actress named May West. Yeah, and
- 38:33Speaker 1: May West would go, oh, honey, oh, I have been
- 38:38Speaker 1: seeing me sometimes a hard man. Fine, So yeah that
- 38:44Speaker 1: and she talked like that out in the real world.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yes, yes, exactly right, Like if she was walking down
- 38:49Speaker 2: the hall and some couple of ladies from the office,
- 38:53Speaker 2: you go, oh, hi ladies.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Yeah, do I have a whole clip of Jan here?
- 38:58Speaker 1: Hold on, let's see uh uh no, oh yeah. That.
- 39:03Speaker 1: We used to play that when because she she was
- 39:05Speaker 1: an older lady and like she didn't understand a lot
- 39:08Speaker 1: of things, and so we yeah, when we had to
- 39:10Speaker 1: when we had to explain things to Jam we're like, oh, Jan, yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 1: I don't.
- 39:16Speaker 4: She's like, I don't get the transformers.
- 39:18Speaker 13: So why.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yeah, uh yeahlet's see. Uh what was the other question?
- 39:26Speaker 14: Oh?
- 39:26Speaker 1: Rip?
- 39:27Speaker 2: Oh okay, so rip. The origin of rip is when
- 39:31Speaker 2: something is so awesome and so cool that you get
- 39:34Speaker 2: a legit erection and it's so powerful that it rips
- 39:38Speaker 2: your jeans.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 5: That's actual definition.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because we may I didn't know that I'm ripping,
- 39:46Speaker 2: like rip boner. It comes right through your underwear.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Yeah. And then they answer the the oh, it's because
- 39:55Speaker 1: we you know, we combine that whenever that's like something
- 39:57Speaker 1: old timey. It's like old timing a West slash Jan
- 40:01Speaker 1: Wall going ah. And then you know, of course the
- 40:04Speaker 1: un because everybody back in the old time days talk
- 40:10Speaker 1: like this, that's the.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Ticket mid Atlantic accent.
- 40:15Speaker 7: Right.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so we got rip. I think we're good. Yeah,
- 40:20Speaker 1: s MD double M. I'll never explill. I can't say
- 40:22Speaker 1: I'll never explain it. It's just not today.
- 40:24Speaker 5: I don't even know that.
- 40:26Speaker 1: You don't know. Very few people do. Yeah, And honestly,
- 40:29Speaker 1: it's one of those things that I'd have to really
- 40:31Speaker 1: explain it. It's an it's the one inside joke I
- 40:34Speaker 1: hate inside jokes. For the most part. I like it
- 40:36Speaker 1: to be where people get to tune in and you know,
- 40:39Speaker 1: just immediately get, get, get and get. But you not
- 40:43Speaker 1: have to be privy to having listened to all the
- 40:46Speaker 1: other shows first for this to make sense what they're
- 40:49Speaker 1: hearing today. Yeah, I just don't like that. There's a
- 40:52Speaker 1: lot of shows that are like that, and it's always
- 40:54Speaker 1: annoyed me as a listener, and so I tried not
- 40:56Speaker 1: to do that. It's the one thing, it's the one
- 40:59Speaker 1: thing that I have explain to many people, and it's
- 41:02Speaker 1: an inside joke between a very small group of people
- 41:05Speaker 1: on this show, and you know, you would understand when
- 41:07Speaker 1: I explained the reason, and maybe someday, in fact, I
- 41:10Speaker 1: know for a fact, someday I will explain. It's just
- 41:13Speaker 1: not I know what you mean, right, It's just not
- 41:17Speaker 1: right now you're getting.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I'm totally getting, but I'm the only one getting clear. Iain.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna take a break. We'll come back. Trending
- 41:28Speaker 1: news headlines with Gina Grad coming up next here on
- 41:30Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 41:33Speaker 15: Show.
- 41:36Speaker 1: And we go directly over to this side of the
- 41:39Speaker 1: room that's where Gina Grad's standing by and she's got
- 41:43Speaker 1: this morning's trending news headlines.
- 41:45Speaker 4: But we have new details coming out in the shooting
- 41:47Speaker 4: of that family at that ice skating rink in Rhode
- 41:50Speaker 4: Island we talked about.
- 41:51Speaker 1: That's a video from that. It's crazy.
- 41:53Speaker 4: Police say that the shooter killed his ex wife and
- 41:56Speaker 4: son and wounded his parents and a family friend before
- 41:58Speaker 4: turning the gun on himself. Cops are calling the shooting
- 42:01Speaker 4: a domestic violence incident and say that you've gone to
- 42:04Speaker 4: several hockey games at the rink in the past. There
- 42:06Speaker 4: was no reason to think that anything was going to
- 42:08Speaker 4: turn violence.
- 42:09Speaker 1: The really hot photo from the kids graduation, like that
- 42:13Speaker 1: my dad shows up looking like that. Yeah, if my
- 42:15Speaker 1: mom shows up looking like, you know, have your crisis
- 42:20Speaker 1: somewhere else. Stay away from my graduation. I'm not taking
- 42:23Speaker 1: pictures with you.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Hear the muscle shirt, like you show up like a clown.
- 42:29Speaker 1: It's ridiculous. You wonder why the family has an issue
- 42:33Speaker 1: with you.
- 42:33Speaker 4: And that's yeah, that's the thing.
- 42:35Speaker 1: So it's everybody else's problem. Oh totally. They are the
- 42:38Speaker 1: bad ones. And by the way, I'm fine for whatever
- 42:41Speaker 1: you want to do. But like the thing is, like
- 42:43Speaker 1: it's always made to be like in this case, and
- 42:47Speaker 1: and I know a couple of people like this right
- 42:49Speaker 1: where it's always about them.
- 42:51Speaker 4: He's going to say the center of attention, like right exactly.
- 42:54Speaker 1: So it's it's not about just just showing up and
- 42:56Speaker 1: you could do whatever you want. It's fine, live your life.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I don't care about that at all. But like when
- 43:01Speaker 1: when clearly it's everything is done either to bring attention
- 43:06Speaker 1: or to start drama, to start to start something, to
- 43:09Speaker 1: test people's lips, yes, yeah, to get a reaction.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Well, we have more on that actually, because the online
- 43:17Speaker 4: history of the shooter has come to light, and apparently
- 43:19Speaker 4: before the shooting, they're quite active on Twitter, posting a
- 43:23Speaker 4: lot of stuff. So one tweet was targeting a transgender politician,
- 43:27Speaker 4: and then this guy came back back and said, keep
- 43:30Speaker 4: bashing us, but do not wonder why we go berserk
- 43:33Speaker 4: in all caps. And on top of that, he made
- 43:35Speaker 4: several comments supporting far right beliefs and has pictures online
- 43:38Speaker 4: showing off a neo Nazi tattoo. So that's what we
- 43:41Speaker 4: know about that shooter. And speaking of which, an eighteen
- 43:45Speaker 4: year old guy was arrested in DC yesterday after apparently
- 43:49Speaker 4: ran up to the Capitol Building with a loaded shotgun.
- 43:51Speaker 4: It happened just after noon. Cops say the guy got
- 43:54Speaker 4: out of his suv, grabbed the gun, made a b
- 43:56Speaker 4: line for the Capitol Building. Officers guarding the building they
- 44:00Speaker 4: drew their weapons and told the dude to drop the shotgun,
- 44:02Speaker 4: which he did right away, and then they searched him.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Found more AMMO on him, as well as a tactical
- 44:07Speaker 4: vest and tactical gloves, So it's been playing there.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Originally I was thinking, like it's suicide by web.
- 44:12Speaker 4: I don't know, because they also found in the car
- 44:14Speaker 4: a kevlar helmet and a gas mask in the backseat.
- 44:18Speaker 4: So super cool guy. He was arrested taking into custody.
- 44:21Speaker 4: We still don't know the motivation, and cops say doesn't
- 44:24Speaker 4: live in the area. They don't know anything about him.
- 44:27Speaker 4: See doesn't my dream of being a hermit sound good?
- 44:31Speaker 1: That sounds pretty good.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Yeah, there's nothing cozier than staying.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Home exactly in the middle of nowhere.
- 44:36Speaker 4: And if we're just keeping tabs and keeping a list.
- 44:38Speaker 4: Another one bites the dust. Tom Pritzker. He's the executive
- 44:42Speaker 4: chairman of Hyatt Hotels. He's resigned from his position over
- 44:46Speaker 4: ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Oh and by the way, he's
- 44:49Speaker 4: the cousin of Illinois Governor JB. Pritzker. So they just
- 44:53Speaker 4: keep dropping like flies when it comes to resignation.
- 44:55Speaker 1: What are you doing on the island? You got access
- 44:57Speaker 1: to the hotel?
- 44:58Speaker 4: Yeah, you have your evenally, have your our own Shaine
- 45:00Speaker 4: of hotels. You don't need to go to an island.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Good point. Well, there are a couple of NFL rumors
- 45:05Speaker 4: making the rounds and both involve Seattle, who, as you know,
- 45:08Speaker 4: they just won the Super Bowl. First, there's the talk
- 45:11Speaker 4: the team could be getting close to a deal for
- 45:12Speaker 4: a new owner, which is something that was talked about.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I said that. They said they might have
- 45:17Speaker 1: an announcement leading up to the Super Bowl. They said
- 45:20Speaker 1: that we might be having an announcement of a new
- 45:22Speaker 1: owner right afterwards. Yeah, well so, which I thought was
- 45:25Speaker 1: interesting because you know, I guess the team's doing pretty well. Yeah,
- 45:27Speaker 1: that'd be although that's a.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Good time to sell, right true, when you're at your
- 45:32Speaker 4: highest right Yeah. Well, there's no word yet on who
- 45:34Speaker 4: that might be. But on top of that, insiders say
- 45:38Speaker 4: trade discussions are happening that could send Raiders star Max
- 45:40Speaker 4: Crosby to Seattle and that said things could still change
- 45:44Speaker 4: because the Patriots are also apparently very interested.
- 45:47Speaker 1: You can't blame Max Crosby. He's getting to that point
- 45:49Speaker 1: in his career, like the guy wants to win. Yeah,
- 45:51Speaker 1: you know, and he's a great player, he's a special player.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Like you know, let the guy like he's he has
- 45:57Speaker 1: suffered with your organization of suckge for so long and
- 46:02Speaker 1: there's no light there's no light really at the end
- 46:04Speaker 1: of the tunn on his timeline, on his window. Yeah,
- 46:07Speaker 1: so I mean, let the guy go so and let
- 46:09Speaker 1: him go to Seattle and try to make a run
- 46:11Speaker 1: for it. Or the Patriots or you know, a team
- 46:13Speaker 1: that's got a that's got a chance. Are the Raiders what.
- 46:16Speaker 4: What you y'all in the sports world would call a
- 46:19Speaker 4: snake bitten team?
- 46:20Speaker 1: Uh, they're that. They seem to be that spot in
- 46:23Speaker 1: your yard that no matter what you do, And yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 1: you could put a rock garden there and it wouldn't work,
- 46:31Speaker 1: Like the rocks are just sinking to the soil and
- 46:33Speaker 1: it would end up still end up being that bare spot.
- 46:36Speaker 1: You just can't do anything. It works. Yeah, every once
- 46:38Speaker 1: in a while, the Raiders, you know historically, I mean
- 46:41Speaker 1: the Raiders were great like in the seventies, seventies, early
- 46:44Speaker 1: eighties and stuff like that, but then they've had like
- 46:46Speaker 1: a little little flashes of greatness but nothing, nothing consistent. Okay,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I see, Yeah, so they're Yeah, it's one of those
- 46:53Speaker 1: teams it would suck to get drafted to other than
- 46:55Speaker 1: the gear looks pretty good. Yeah, yeah, it's better than
- 46:59Speaker 1: getting drafted by the Jaguars, who are a better team
- 47:01Speaker 1: than the Raiders.
- 47:02Speaker 4: He's in that case. Is everyone just trying to be
- 47:04Speaker 4: like the second round draft pick?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean they got the guy from well,
- 47:08Speaker 1: they're going to get the guy in the draft from Indiana,
- 47:11Speaker 1: the quarterback, so he's gonna end up going to the Raiders.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Benze piece yeah yeah. And the issue is also like
- 47:16Speaker 1: they don't really care because they still print money because
- 47:19Speaker 1: of the location. Sure, yeah, I'm saying, but as a
- 47:21Speaker 1: fan it blows.
- 47:22Speaker 4: Yeah fan tough.
- 47:23Speaker 9: You know.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Well, let's keep talking sports.
- 47:26Speaker 4: The US added another medal to their total thanks to
- 47:29Speaker 4: the men's team speed skating, and they did really well,
- 47:32Speaker 4: but in the end it wasn't enough to beat Italy,
- 47:34Speaker 4: so they settled for silver, but still great. Meanwhile, In
- 47:36Speaker 4: women's curling, the US won its match with Denmark ten
- 47:40Speaker 4: to three. Oh nothing, and so, looking up at an
- 47:43Speaker 4: updated medal count, here we go. It's Norway shocking in
- 47:46Speaker 4: Winter Olympics, still leading everyone with thirty one, Italy and
- 47:50Speaker 4: second with twenty four, and US in third with twenty nine.
- 47:53Speaker 4: More gold medals are up for grabs today, including when
- 47:56Speaker 4: the US takes on Sweden in the men's hockey quarterfinals,
- 48:00Speaker 4: and the US women's ice hockey team will play Canada
- 48:03Speaker 4: tomorrow for.
- 48:03Speaker 1: The goal knock out round for the men.
- 48:06Speaker 4: Yep, and remember how we talked about that Italy had
- 48:09Speaker 4: given out ten thousand condoms for the Olympic Ally.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I saw a story this past weekend about how they
- 48:18Speaker 1: were out.
- 48:19Speaker 4: Ye, like the condom supply was gone already three days Yeah,
- 48:25Speaker 4: three days into it.
- 48:26Speaker 1: But it's not.
- 48:27Speaker 4: It might be a little more wholesome than that. It
- 48:29Speaker 4: turns out they're not all they're not all completely horned up.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Maybe some of them. Apparently Olympic condoms are quite the
- 48:35Speaker 4: collector's items, soople are grabbing them by the fist their friends.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so don't worry though.
- 48:41Speaker 4: Italian officials promise they'll restock as soon as they can.
- 48:44Speaker 4: So people can, you know, get it on like they
- 48:45Speaker 4: were intended for.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Maybe a lot of athletes are like sea beasts and
- 48:48Speaker 2: they wear a condom to Joe.
- 48:52Speaker 4: That in efficiency and poop in the shower.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Yeah, perhaps this is interesting. The Seahawks have to sell
- 48:57Speaker 1: because Paul Allen died five years ago. He was the owner,
- 48:59Speaker 1: was one of them. He was one of the Microsoft guys.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Oh wow, money interviewed for a radio station that he owned.
- 49:05Speaker 1: At one point the place was fused with cash. They had,
- 49:09Speaker 1: they had stuff for stuff, people for people. It was
- 49:12Speaker 1: it was. It was unbelievable. Anyway, Yeah, he died five
- 49:15Speaker 1: years ago. And an NFL team has to have a
- 49:17Speaker 1: single majority owner, not a group. All right, thank you, David.
- 49:20Speaker 1: That's interesting. I had no idea. So that makes more sense,
- 49:23Speaker 1: like they have to no matter what why ownership would
- 49:25Speaker 1: you know or why a team would be up for sale?
- 49:27Speaker 1: But how does the green Bay make sense? Then? Who
- 49:30Speaker 1: would be the majority owner for green Bay? That's a
- 49:33Speaker 1: that's a good question, dumb ask Tyler. Do you know,
- 49:35Speaker 1: because I know, like you know, it's the it's the
- 49:37Speaker 1: city of the people. They were the shareholders, you know,
- 49:39Speaker 1: like people who live in Green Bay. They they owned
- 49:42Speaker 1: the team.
- 49:42Speaker 4: I think they were probably grandfathered in by the time
- 49:45Speaker 4: that role came out. But who is But there's like
- 49:47Speaker 4: one person who's like the chairman or something to get
- 49:49Speaker 4: the person who's like the chairman of the president that
- 49:52Speaker 4: kind of runs the team. Are they probably owned? They are,
- 49:56Speaker 4: They probably have the majority of the shares. I don't
- 49:59Speaker 4: think they have a majority of the team is governed
- 50:00Speaker 4: by a seven member executive committee and a board of
- 50:03Speaker 4: directors governed. But it says they're the only publicly owned
- 50:07Speaker 4: nonprofit franchise in the league.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Okay, but but it was like, you know, there's shares
- 50:14Speaker 1: of something out there, there's gotta be one person that's.
- 50:17Speaker 4: This guy's name is great Ed Policy serves as the president.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 6: It does say that it's a structure grandfathered in by
- 50:27Speaker 6: the league, so they are grandfather Policy is taking care
- 50:29Speaker 6: of Yeah.
- 50:30Speaker 1: I love I love the idea like that, like where
- 50:32Speaker 1: the fans get to own the team. Yeah, you know,
- 50:35Speaker 1: and you're not stuck with some you know, dickhead ownership.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Yeah that's cool, that's fun.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be cool to own you know, Yeah, it'd
- 50:42Speaker 1: be cool to own a share of the team. Yeah
- 50:44Speaker 1: as a fan. Cool, Yeah, that'd be awesome.
- 50:48Speaker 4: Well that's what's going on with all right.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Gina Grand. Tomorrow we are announcing
- 50:56Speaker 1: all the details for the Woodies Show after Hours take
- 50:58Speaker 1: over Disney California Adventure Park. Very fortunate that we get
- 51:04Speaker 1: to do this again.
- 51:05Speaker 4: Oh yeah, may how awesome that be.
- 51:07Speaker 1: You were one of the people that won your way in.
- 51:09Speaker 1: So we'll have the date for tomorrow and then also
- 51:12Speaker 1: the details about these other opportunities besides just winning here
- 51:16Speaker 1: on the air, which you're gonna have a ton of
- 51:17Speaker 1: chances to win on the air. Uh, these other ways
- 51:20Speaker 1: that you're gonna be able to win your passes to
- 51:23Speaker 1: get in on that takeover because you can't bind. You
- 51:26Speaker 1: can only win your way in.
- 51:27Speaker 2: I don't want to make things messy, but isn't that
- 51:29Speaker 2: going to be Friday that we release everything? Oh that
- 51:32Speaker 2: is Friday, Friday? Yeah, sorry man, my days are all
- 51:34Speaker 2: mixed up for four day work week.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Friday, Friday, Thank you, Greg, thank you so yeah Friday
- 51:41Speaker 1: byding all the details on that. Saturday will be at
- 51:44Speaker 1: Brewery X in Anaheim for the Woodie Show meet up. Yep,
- 51:48Speaker 1: somebody said yeah for the Brewery X meetup. You guys
- 51:51Speaker 1: always joke that you worry that people won't show up
- 51:53Speaker 1: to an event medicine, I have that. It's it's just
- 51:56Speaker 1: it's like the falling Dream. I'm never over confident about
- 51:58Speaker 1: any of them. No, no, we aren't. What if too
- 52:01Speaker 1: many people show up? Oh no, having too much money
- 52:05Speaker 1: or too big of a penis what a problem? That'd
- 52:08Speaker 1: be a big problem. Is I'm too thin for the details.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Dogma Society show. Oh look it came in yesterday, you guys,
- 52:19Speaker 1: it's official. They are in there in house.
- 52:21Speaker 16: Uh.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Dj t Mar sent me. Ah, that's cool. Cool, right,
- 52:27Speaker 1: it's good. These limited edition design what do you show?
- 52:31Speaker 1: That is cool? Not not the standard? What do you show? Logo? Logo?
- 52:35Speaker 1: You'll understand. We'll tell you about that on Friday as well.
- 52:40Speaker 1: But that's that's for the event. On Saturday. We'll have
- 52:43Speaker 1: T shirts, yeah, for not everybody, but we'll be giving
- 52:47Speaker 1: away a ton of my I ordered a bunch yet
- 52:49Speaker 1: you're not guaranteed, no, no, just you know, if a
- 52:52Speaker 1: ton of people do show up, so much cash my walleccount. Yeah.
- 52:59Speaker 1: So that's gonna be a Brewery X in Anaheim on
- 53:02Speaker 1: Saturday starting at three pm. Get all the details, click
- 53:04Speaker 1: the events tab of our website, The Woodies Show dot
- 53:07Speaker 1: com for more infom Lady.
- 53:08Speaker 17: Gentlemen, bred your mama bird, Ladies.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Gentlemen, breath.
- 53:14Speaker 5: Can I get a disease from food? And Menaces?
- 53:16Speaker 1: Yeah, totally breast. But you know, we were talking about
- 53:23Speaker 1: Wendy's and how they're closing a bunch of locations between
- 53:27Speaker 1: now and fourth of July. Hudds right, yeah, kind of
- 53:30Speaker 1: getting things on track, and Menace had said, hey, you know,
- 53:34Speaker 1: they just need to do more collapse hot.
- 53:36Speaker 4: Colla because they have a good product.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Sometimes, you know, when it comes to radio shows or
- 53:41Speaker 1: just different products, they might be an awesome product, but
- 53:43Speaker 1: they don't have the word out. They need to get
- 53:45Speaker 1: the word. Like Wendy's has been around forever, and I
- 53:48Speaker 1: think the words you need to be like reminded on
- 53:50Speaker 1: how awesome it is. Sokent even works. That's a that's
- 53:55Speaker 1: MENACE's idea. And then Morgan chimed in.
- 53:59Speaker 5: Yeah, do a collab with Savannah Guthrie.
- 54:04Speaker 13: You know, I don't know which way it's got three,
- 54:06Speaker 13: but here's my slogan, double patty, double cheese, find my mom.
- 54:09Speaker 5: Yeah, and you like put are on the bag I
- 54:11Speaker 5: got I.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Gotta tell you. As ridiculous and crazy and like random
- 54:15Speaker 1: as that sounded, the listeners seem to really kind of
- 54:17Speaker 1: they responded to that, I mean, you can win free
- 54:19Speaker 1: food for life. And it's not the first time that
- 54:21Speaker 1: Morgan has thrown like some wild thing out there. Yeah,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and it ended up being like something really good. Yeah,
- 54:27Speaker 1: So I'm just kind of curious. It's like, maybe we
- 54:29Speaker 1: need to check in with Morgan more. Yeah, yes, you
- 54:32Speaker 1: do for these ideas.
- 54:34Speaker 4: It's not shy about her idea.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Listen to me some more. Yes, yeah, Like do you
- 54:38Speaker 1: have okay, do you have like another idea? There was
- 54:39Speaker 1: something maybe either for the show or for a product
- 54:42Speaker 1: that needs to exist, or maybe like a marketing idea
- 54:46Speaker 1: for another company, like you know, who was it that
- 54:49Speaker 1: the man the girl just did the jingle?
- 54:52Speaker 4: Oh yeah for Dr Pepper for Dr Pepper, Gina did
- 54:55Speaker 4: one for KFC.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Do you have like some other good like another good
- 54:58Speaker 1: idea company wise?
- 55:00Speaker 13: I do have an idea though that I've been pitching
- 55:01Speaker 13: for a while. Do you want me to pitch it again?
- 55:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:04Speaker 13: Okay, So Friday coming up This Friday is National Handcuff Day. Oh,
- 55:09Speaker 13: and I've been dying to get like Sea Bass and
- 55:11Speaker 13: board handcuffed together for the day, nice and just see
- 55:14Speaker 13: how long they last. Maybe, like there's certain things like
- 55:17Speaker 13: make Sea Bass compliment boort that you know takes off
- 55:20Speaker 13: an hour of their handcuffed time.
- 55:23Speaker 5: In the bathroom together.
- 55:25Speaker 1: How would they pee?
- 55:27Speaker 7: Oh?
- 55:28Speaker 1: Look, yeah, I would say after the last like month,
- 55:30Speaker 1: like okay. So if you would have asked me at
- 55:33Speaker 1: the beginning of the year, like January first, I would
- 55:36Speaker 1: I would have put the percentage at forty that this
- 55:40Speaker 1: could happen. Yeah, asking me today, I would say there's
- 55:44Speaker 1: a four percent chance? Negative? Is that on both sides?
- 55:48Speaker 7: No?
- 55:48Speaker 1: No, I think I think Sea Bass would have no
- 55:51Speaker 1: problem with it.
- 55:51Speaker 4: Yes, I think I am a thoughtful, compassionate coworker.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I think the board I think Bard would hate I
- 55:59Speaker 1: mean he wouldn't. I don't think Sea Best would like it,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but I don't think I don't think Bord would survive it.
- 56:05Speaker 10: Yeah, I think it sounds like a wonderful, possibly positive
- 56:09Speaker 10: and friendly growing experience.
- 56:12Speaker 4: I think this could be a good thing.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 5: What's it called exposure therapy?
- 56:15Speaker 1: Yeah, like a version therapy. I think it could be
- 56:18Speaker 1: a great day. Wait, a minute. Is this is this
- 56:21Speaker 1: the cheese on the trap? You see? What I'm saying,
- 56:25Speaker 1: is this just so he can get sea mass close
- 56:27Speaker 1: enough he can't get away.
- 56:30Speaker 3: My concern is that the other person involved here has
- 56:33Speaker 3: made numerous quote unquote jokes about workplace violence towards myself
- 56:38Speaker 3: and others. So for that reason, entertainment purposes, thank you,
- 56:42Speaker 3: it's not really entertaining, quite frankly to me. To me,
- 56:45Speaker 3: it is, I'd like to have a talk with HR
- 56:47Speaker 3: before we went through with this, just to make sure
- 56:48Speaker 3: that my concerns were addressed.
- 56:50Speaker 5: It's going to take like six months, though.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Talk Are you serious?
- 56:53Speaker 4: Because workplace violence there's nothing to joke about.
- 56:56Speaker 1: See, Okay, here's the thing.
- 56:58Speaker 5: What it's your show? If you tell him to.
- 57:01Speaker 1: That doesn't work. It doesn't. It doesn't work that way.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I forget some of the other ideas that she's had, But.
- 57:08Speaker 2: To be fair, it would suck to be handcuffed to
- 57:10Speaker 2: anybody for the day.
- 57:11Speaker 5: That's true.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Yeah, whether they get long or not. Yeah, okay, so
- 57:15Speaker 1: on record, So what what if what if somebody needs
- 57:20Speaker 1: to use the restroom? Do they get to take the
- 57:21Speaker 1: handcuff off?
- 57:23Speaker 4: Well, you guys, p next to each other anyway different?
- 57:31Speaker 1: You could, you could, but yeah, I'm wondering, like, how
- 57:33Speaker 1: far are you talking about this all the way? We're
- 57:36Speaker 1: all in people.
- 57:37Speaker 4: But like Morgan said, there are ways to shave off
- 57:40Speaker 4: your time.
- 57:40Speaker 13: Right, like if we had maybe like if they hugged
- 57:43Speaker 13: for five seconds, maybe they make up a song about
- 57:45Speaker 13: each other and they perform it with a dance.
- 57:47Speaker 5: Or either of them say a genuine.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Such a pleasant time. I look forward to it now. Yeah, wait,
- 57:57Speaker 1: so is the backup Morgan and Tyler?
- 58:00Speaker 5: Then if you guys can, I'll do it if it
- 58:04Speaker 5: gets them to do it.
- 58:05Speaker 1: But by the way, she did say before we went
- 58:09Speaker 1: on the air, because somebody said something about her and
- 58:11Speaker 1: Tyler living together, and she said it was the worst
- 58:13Speaker 1: decision she's ever made. It's not bad. It's just.
- 58:21Speaker 14: No, no, no, no no.
- 58:22Speaker 13: I like being left alone. And I don't think he
- 58:26Speaker 13: is getting the hint that I don't want to hang
- 58:28Speaker 13: out all the time like I like my alone.
- 58:31Speaker 1: So this is a social thing for him.
- 58:35Speaker 5: I think he's still trying to get together.
- 58:37Speaker 4: You just don't have to spend a lot of time
- 58:38Speaker 4: in your room.
- 58:39Speaker 5: That's what I've done.
- 58:40Speaker 1: It might be because he constantly has had people around
- 58:44Speaker 1: him his entire life.
- 58:45Speaker 13: He has five brothers, right, and I'm I'm used to
- 58:47Speaker 13: being alone, so it's just different.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Five brothers in a two bedroom house. Well this is
- 58:51Speaker 1: this is how you like?
- 58:52Speaker 13: I will say, though, I got a call this morning,
- 58:55Speaker 13: an hour before my alarm is supposed to go off.
- 58:57Speaker 5: Guess who left the house without his keys? So he
- 59:01Speaker 5: called me, and I'm like, oh crap, am I late?
- 59:03Speaker 5: Like what's going on?
- 59:04Speaker 1: Like what's up?
- 59:04Speaker 5: He's like, hey, can you bring me my keys?
- 59:06Speaker 1: I forgot?
- 59:09Speaker 5: How do you do that?
- 59:11Speaker 4: Okay, so that's but bring him to work? Bring the
- 59:13Speaker 4: keys to work?
- 59:14Speaker 5: No, no, no, he was outside the house get his
- 59:17Speaker 5: car keys and he was locked out.
- 59:19Speaker 4: Okay, he's all right. He's an idiot that one.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Because I knowing the current situation and how you know,
- 59:26Speaker 1: unhappy you are with him, I would have just word
- 59:28Speaker 1: to work.
- 59:28Speaker 5: No, no, I bring him his keys.
- 59:30Speaker 1: But yeah, I would have wake up my coworker. I
- 59:32Speaker 1: would just to work.
- 59:33Speaker 5: Well, you talk to him much?
- 59:34Speaker 7: Is that?
- 59:35Speaker 1: I'll tell me.
- 59:36Speaker 6: You got to get a lock box outside the place
- 59:38Speaker 6: so that if he forgets his tea he can get
- 59:39Speaker 6: back into the idle rock.
- 59:41Speaker 5: When I'm five years old.
- 59:42Speaker 4: Yeah, my question is what would be what his plan? B?
- 59:44Speaker 1: What if you know? What if you if you did?
- 59:46Speaker 4: It's also not Morgan's job to like train him to
- 59:48Speaker 4: be an adult, you know, right?
- 59:50Speaker 1: So what's so he done?
- 59:52Speaker 5: It's fine, it's fine, life is good. So he day
- 59:56Speaker 5: no regrets.
- 59:57Speaker 1: He just forgot his keys to even get in his
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: own car.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: I can't even get.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: What did I say about what I call him?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Low?
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: Low functioning, low functioning adults?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, you just suber to work and then you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: text hers say hey, bring my keys.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: Figure it out later.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so we got this after hours voicemail. I think
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: you're going to like this one. Anytime after the show
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: is off the air, you can always give us a call.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: You're listening to the podcast. You just have some random
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: thought later, you don't want to forget to leave it
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: for us. Eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, Hey what
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: he So?
- 1:00:28Speaker 18: This is Samantha in Atlanta. I know this is super late,
- 1:00:31Speaker 18: but I was on vacation and catching up on the podcast,
- 1:00:34Speaker 18: and I just want to say how much I love Morgan,
- 1:00:37Speaker 18: her being so vulnerable on air, and how brave she
- 1:00:41Speaker 18: is and all the stuff she's willing to do and
- 1:00:44Speaker 18: how badass she is just all the time.
- 1:00:47Speaker 16: I love Morgan.
- 1:00:48Speaker 18: I know Greg's been my favorite for ten years, and
- 1:00:50Speaker 18: I do love SeaBASS, but I have to say Morgan's
- 1:00:54Speaker 18: up there now.
- 1:00:54Speaker 16: She's love you.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Guys, sweet, very sweet.
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: I do think it's where though people were calling me
- 1:01:01Speaker 13: brave for crying on the air, I don't think that's brave.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: Okay, Like I don't see that has happened.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I mean because a lot of people I think are
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: so protective of they don't they don't want to show
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: anything at all.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: But like brave is like.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Going to war.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: In the Amy Schumer line, she goes. The last thing
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: you want to be called when you're like filmed nude is.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: She's so brave, Like women like to say too, like,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: oh she's so brave because she took a picture without makeup.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: I'll take it. Thank you so much. That was a
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: sweet one.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You know, just keep writing down all your ideas, you know,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I forget. There was there was something also it's just
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: like a name and then she's like I don't know
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: what to do with this. It's like, oh had a diarrhea. Yeah,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: there was there was. There was some game that she
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: wanted to do, like guess who had an abortion or
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: something like listeners would calling. This is a couple of
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: years ago around.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: Mother relapse idea. Did you guys remember that one?
- 1:02:01Speaker 13: Oh yes, I do, like go to a liquor store
- 1:02:02Speaker 13: and buy some alcohol and be like, oh, I'm relapsing today.
- 1:02:05Speaker 15: Put it on.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: See if what they say.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I also liked your longest pube contest, Thank you, Greg.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: That's right one.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: But yeah, Sammy would partake, so lots of trick.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: One because you got new pubes that will get Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four. We just keep writing down
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four Woody text us over to
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: two to nine eighty seven more Woody Shows. Next, hang on.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: The show'll be right back.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: The Woody Show. All right, into another new hour insensitivity
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: training for a politically corrected world. We're gonna have our
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: friends Hammer and Hank and half Baked on the show today.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, wood Show Crossfire. I'd be interested to get
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: half baked. In his opinion on this story, there was
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: a lawsuit over Buffalo wild wings. They're boneless wings, and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it's officially been tossed. The judge ruling customers know what
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: they're ordering. No kidding the title, no kidding. The case
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: was filed by this guy in Chicago who you know,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: b dubs. The boneless wings were misleading because they're not
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: actual de boned chicken wings. Where have you ever seen that? Yeah,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: exactly that exists. Have you ever gone to a place
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and they say boneless wings and it turns out they've
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: de boned the flats and the drums. No, you've never
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: seen that. You know exactly what it is, which is
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: why the name boneless. They're nuggets.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: It's a nugget essentially.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so they said misleading. They're not actual de bone
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: chicken wings, but rather chicken breast meat formed into wings
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: style pieces. No, they're not even formed in the wing
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: style pieces. They're just chunks, the.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: Big chicken nuggets.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I went ass half big, But I hate being around
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: him when he eats wings because the sauce is just
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: on the table on his hands, so unlike you, the
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: clean order leaders flying in the air. The judge throughout
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: the lawsuits saying that no reasonable consumer would expect boneless
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: wings to literally be wings, and that boneless wings is
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: a commonly understood restaurant. Yeah, no kidding. Right, Yeah, like
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: it's people in these lawsuits, man.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: So stupid. They should be the ones going to prison.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Yeah, there's yeah, yeah, there was another lawsuit story that
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I saw and I'm like, man, you know, there's just
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: too many lawyers and there's and there's just too much
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: opportunity and no fear of recourse, and there's people who
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: make their living doing that. Yeah, you can. You can
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: file for whatever you want and then have to go
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: through it. And and a lot of times now and
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: companies have Companies for the most part, have put themselves
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: in this position because they don't want the time, the disruption,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: the expense of fighting it. They know they're they know
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: they're in the right, right, That's why it seems. Yeah,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: And all that does is breed more opportunity for people
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: to go, well, I'm gonna file mine, knowing that they're
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: probably not gonna win, but they're gonna get They're hoping
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: to get some kind of offer on the settlement taste. Yeah.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even blame the lawyers.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, they're doing their job.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I just found out that I was named in somebody
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: else's lawsuit, well not named, like it's it's any of
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: my problem, right, but named where they had to do
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: what is it called discovery, and so they have to
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: send all the text messages and whatever. And I guess
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I was one of the conversations that this person had
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: a conversation over text with huh. And and so the
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: one one of the lawyers reached out to me just
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: let me know that I have nothing to do with it.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I didn't do anything wrong. Obviously, they said you could
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: be friends with whoever you want to be friends with.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: But I whatever I said in the text, I did
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a good job. I said what I was, you know
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: what I should have said, which was the truth. In
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: that particular case, I was like, hey, man, you know,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I don't really know where you're going with all of this,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: because he was telling me that he was going to
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: be filing a lawsuit. And I was like, I don't
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: know where you're going with all this, Like just move on,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: oh nice, you know I because I don't. I really didn't.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I really didn't, you know, agree or understand. But at
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: the same time, he's all heated and worked up and
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you know, wanting blood. And so it came out in
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: the discovery that these text messages and they're like, oh,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: you know, hey, nice, nice work. I'm like, they're like, well,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: if their lawyers reach out to you, you know, please
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: let us know, you know, don't don't accept that phone
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: call before you talk to us, And I go, okay, cool.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I never looked into this or even asked one of
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: my lawyer friends, like, how does that even work with
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: the text messages, like how how do you have to
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: hand those over? Or do you they have access with
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: a phone company to get those sex messages? Probably? Yeah.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I mean I think if it's in the lawsuit, I
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: think that you're if you just delete all of them,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: because there's still a record of them, right, just because
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you've deleted it off your device, like deleting something off
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: of a hard drive doesn't mean it's gone, right, but
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: this is right. Would they have to go to the
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: company company?
- 1:07:18Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I'm sure they could because if you and that's why,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: if you're involved in stuff like that, you know they
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: let you know, Oh hey, retention, retention note, yeah whatever
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: that is. Yeah, yeah, yeah, which why you know, I
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: understand why anybody would do that in the first place.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: It seems kind of silly because everything is digital. I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: just assume everything is forever, like you're just gonna be
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: in even more trouble. Yeah, Like it's so dumb.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: I just hope that nobody ever asks any of us
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: to hand over our meme history in our text.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Dude, everybody would be in prison.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Serious, I mean every person on the planet would.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: That's what I Yeah, we were Morgan, you would be
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you stoned it down.
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: Just reminded me I need to send you all something.
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: It was too late last night.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: So yeah, but I mean just think about that. I mean,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: you know, he he here without sin. Yeah, cast the
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: first dome when it comes to sending an inappropriate meme
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: or send me joke. That's why when when people when
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: something comes out about somebody, and then all the people
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: who are like you on fire and outraged about whatever
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: it is. I go, hmmm, if we saw your meme history, if.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: We saw skeletons in that house.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like all right, come on, save it, save it
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: for the important stuff.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: If it was based on sheer volume, Gina would have
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: the life sentence like thousands of years. I think you
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: might be physically addicted because that's part of.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: My love language. Like I think, think this is fun, true,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: it's well rounded.
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: You know what to send it.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: It's not this is what I like. I think you'll like.
- 1:08:54Speaker 13: Yeah, it's hand Oh I will have I've messed up
- 1:08:58Speaker 13: board Vaughan probably Tyler's algorithm, because I send them stuff
- 1:09:01Speaker 13: meant to bet so, y'all are.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: All going down in My rotten sense of humor is
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: well documented, and I don't hide it from anyone. I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: don't sit here. I don't sit here and demonize people
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: who you know, you know, they they got caught with
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: something tasteless or you know whatever is to yeah, man,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: you know, because I believe in the people that say why.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I've never actually yeah, yeah, I've never judged anybody seOne
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: for saying phone companies do not store text message content.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I find that hard to believe because then the next
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: one comes through. Yes, the phone company will pull the
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: text and give you a transcript. A search warrant is needed.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Does that I believe, like, if not, just to anybody
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: who has right, but I think if you're involved in
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: something and you have to turn that stuff over, I
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: would think that there is a way that you get it. Uh,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: you know, can you know sign like at least something
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: that says yes, okay, yeah, I'm in you know. Uh
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I'm required to X y Z. You can give them,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: you know the transcript on this. I'm constantly deleting my
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: history just to state organized. Yeah, sure, the state organized.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I have nothing, constantly just burning my fingerprints.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: You can have my bass well and his dateline will
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: tell us. Don't say you weren't there, because the cell
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: phone tower will ping your phone and will know that
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: you were there.
- 1:10:21Speaker 15: True.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, my phone was in somebody else's pocket.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I didn't have it to bring doorbell cameras
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: for yeah.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: True. Oh yeah, how do we get on this convert
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Because people are crazy litigious over everything, there's too many yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Buffalo Wild Wings. Yeah, the lawsuit over the Buffalo Wild
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Wings Bonus wings was tossed thrown out because you know
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: what you're ordering.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: The people that go around looking for things that aren't
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: to quote perfect code just so they can file something
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: even though they're not directly affected by the professional lawsuit filers.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: I think you're being too generous, Woody. I don't know
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: if people know what they're ordering. Nowadays, people are so dumb.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: But again, like, do you do you ever see a
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: restaurant where they have actual deboned chicken wings.
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: No, you've never seen that, each one lovingly hand debot.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: You've never seen you never have. But question if people
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: are dumb, I think I think some people would believe it.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I think the only place is you know Emerald Leagasi,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: the celebrity chef. He's got a place in New Orleans.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Mess you were, you were there for this, and there's
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: a woman that works there at his restaurant Nola. There's
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: a woman who works there and her only job is
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: to make these stuffed chicken wings. Look up online Emeralds.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Emeralds restaurants stuffed chicken wings. Yeah, it's it's the only
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Emeralds restaurant. I've been to a lot of his restaurants
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: that they have this because it's this one woman and
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: her only job is she comes in she preps these.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: Every day, Hayes stuffed chicken wing.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: That's it. Those are so good and that is what
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: it is. That's her old time. She opens these wings up,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: she takes the bones out, and then she stuffs them
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: and traps them ground.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: Pork, chopped shrimp, mushroom, onions, cilancho, fish sauce. Oh my god,
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: in my mouth, those are so good that looks incredible.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Those are so good?
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Well, how many hundreds of stories and those are actually
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: deboned wings right of people following GPS and they drive
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: into a lake. Yeah, and then you wonder like, I
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: bet maybe at least people out there think.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Those are boneless ones. I think we're being generous. Lot
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: of people think that they're from Buffalo's. But look bugs
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: me so much. If you're with a group of people
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: and everybody has venues and they're looking at them, and
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: then the way it comes by, and oh, you're ready
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: to order, and then one person goes, I still need
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: more time? You still you still need more time? Have
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: you never eaten?
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: Because well, because there they've been socializing here, I'll see
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: your frustration with that, because I do understand that loser
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: takes more than.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Two minutes to forgot your order. And I'll raise you
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: this one.
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: You're sitting there, it's a group of you know, people
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: at a table, not even like maybe just a group
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: before let's keep it nice and simple, right group before
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: here comes the order and they go burger with sweet
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: potato fries and they're silence of the idiot who ordered it, like.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: You know that that's mine? Yeah? Oh wait, like the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: food is here. You are looking at this person waiting
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: for yours to come up, and they go burger with
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: sweet potato fries and nobody says anything, Hey, dumbass, like
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: that's yours. I go wait a minute, And it's always
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: me going, hey Greg, didn't you Oh yeah, that's mine? Yeah,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: that's mine. I forgot we were at a restaurants.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: Okay, can I see that and raise you this. I
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: was at a restaurant the other day and we Scott seated,
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: sat down, got handed the menu, literally got handed the
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: menu and said do you need another minute with the menu?
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Like you I physically just put it in.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: My hands like I'm actually I'm ready to need a minute.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I'm like, let's go. And this is different. I don't
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: know if it's his obsession with a car racing now
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: that he even restaurants, his pit stops like you can
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: just make this as quick as possible, or you don't
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: even know you were there. You ever is already online.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: If you're going to a nice restaurant, you probably already
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: looked it up already. You probably already know what your
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: order is. I have the idea of what the place is.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: My latest restaurant Italian Place in Mexican Place, you would
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: have them handy the menu. I'm like, yeah, I'm already.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: I'm already I was four minutes. So why even go
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: out to eat exactly because I want the food at
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: the restaurant? Duh, Like why go with people? Like you know,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: if you if that's if that's a.
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: Good eating alone efficiency situation.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Yeah, because nobody, because oh my god, eating is eating
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: is a social experience for most people when you're going,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: especially when you're going with other people. If it's just you,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I get the like you want to be in out whatever,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: it's fine, or maybe you don't. Maybe you want to
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: sit there and you know, flip and scroll through your
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: phone and have a meal and stuff.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: Like be like, dude, like here's the thing.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Where why do we have to play this stupid game
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: of going back and forth? Oh you know like like
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: drinks and drinks another, Oh you want some water?
- 1:15:10Speaker 7: Then you do?
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: You want to social appetizer? Like that's where you're missing.
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: It's a social experience, that's it. That's the event.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: So I'm having a social experience every day when I'm
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: eating food. No, no again, you by yourself. No. But
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: if you are with other people, even if it's one
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: other person. The act of.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: Going out and sharing a meal, that's the social experience.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: And if the waiter, like for Greg, is rushing you
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: out the door the second you sit down, that's very
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: rude and ruining the experience.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Likes to go to a restaurant and sit there and wait,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: even though you've already like you know, made an appointment
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: for the restaurant at five o'clock and then oh, I
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: got to wait another twelve because it. Greg likes to
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: show up and have it have a drink at the
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: bar and then hey, are you ready to go see
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: at the table? Yeah, and that I would like to
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: have another drink and would you care to in bread service? Yes.
- 1:16:05Speaker 13: I'll never forget the one time I went out to
- 1:16:07Speaker 13: eat with you menace. I was halfway through my meal
- 1:16:09Speaker 13: and he gets out of his chair and walking out.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Like, so are we done? Yeah?
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: I think stop sometimes going out to eat with people.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Because maybe you know, because you're a little more like
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: the whole, you don't need to be efficient. Well, okay,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: forget all the other stuff, because you guys enjoy that.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Even though I hate it, you can at least agree
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: with me though. The whole way of paying is our cake. Yeah,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I agree with that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 18: I like it that.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I like it when you say can we get the
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: check and they pull that little device out. Love that
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: that's great and they handle it right there.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: Minute more of that Menace. You'll respect this move. There
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: are times where I really know I'm not going to
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: want to linger and wait around and be on the
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: waiters you know, timeline. So when they bring the food,
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: I'll say okay, great, and can we have the check
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: as well?
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Those are two different things that and then also like okay,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: also when they hand me the check, I can hand
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you my card right there, like oh you want to like,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I don't need I idemize it, dude, leave it on
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: the table. I'll take a quick look and like, okay,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: that looks fine. And then here's my card. But it's
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: two different things. Once the social experience of the meal
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: is over and everybody's ready to go, yes, let's let's
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: make that part quick. So I agree with you on
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: the you know, the the payment stuff that that's nobody
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: nobody will argue that when menace is ready to go.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: The minute you sit down, go into a restaurant becomes
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: an emergency situation when you.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: Were on the cruise five minutes into dinner. The chair
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: is empty. Yeah yeahmember, yeah, all right, chairs is empty? Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: Ministe done, there's a middle chair sitting empty. Yeah, it's stupid.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: Oh you love Italy, Greg.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I don't know why you haven't gone to Italy because
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: dinners are like three and a half away. I love that.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I would love that.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: That's why I like plays like The Melting Pot Man.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: It's slow play love it. That's the whole activity for
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: the night fun Dude.
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: Show.
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Menace was talking about how he gets frustrated when you
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: know people need a couple more minutes with the menu
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: at a restaurant. Menace wants to sit down and eat
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: and leave from a restaurant with people. Yeah, like it's
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: a pit stop. In one of the races that he
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: goes to.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: Everyone's to do their homework of time.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I'm looking at the website. Yeah, somebody on the text said, uh,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Menace out here pre ordering before even arriving at the restaurant.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I mean, if you're going to a nice restaurant, you
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: tell me you have not looked it up online at all. Yes,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I love you, Menace, but you definitely have undiagnosed ADHD.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: That's probably true. Oh no, no, I definitely have. But
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: what sucks officially diagnosed though, right? I think I did
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: back in the day, really when I was a kid.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: But it's a big long It shocks now because like
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: everybody is now claiming that they haven't. Yeah, you know,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: it's the hot thing. I'm like, dude, go back to
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: like audio immune diseases or like what is it mental
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: health and stuff like that, like the hot trend with
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: like all the BDHD eight it's weird too.
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: Like I thought this was it's like so nineties and
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: early two thousands. To have eighty D that's back is
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: different than ADHD.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Well, but now they just.
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: Call it ADHD. But you might not be hyperactive.
- 1:19:13Speaker 13: I think if it's back is diagnosing yourself yeah, which yeah,
- 1:19:17Speaker 13: it is with ADHD.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: But everyone's like, oh, I'm a self diagnosed whatever.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Which please tell menace that not only is it rude
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: to rush your guests who might be leisurely enjoying their meal,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: but the actual ritual of eating a delicious meal slowly
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: is that the chef might have taken much time and
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: care and creatively to make creativity to make what you
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: were eating that fast? What else do you do fast?
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: If I were on a date with him, it would
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: be a huge red flag to give the menu back
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: to the host. I would say, see it, geez, Louise, I.
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: Don't care what the chef. He's a too pump chore.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: No. But also the place that menas he's not really
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: going to places that take much care in creativity to
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: make stuff. Bubba gumps.
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: A lot of fast foot dude. The most recent places
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I went to coat and coat Coat, it was, Yeah,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: at the Venetian in Vegas. It's a Korean steakhouse, dude,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: so good? Did it take a little long ago to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: have the slow play which you would love the.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: Steak for you made?
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Another thing about eating at restaurants that totally bothers
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: me is my husband orders the same thing as me.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: This is something I've never understood. Why is that a
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: bad thing when something that was what I was going
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: to order do that?
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: Why?
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: If I was to have you at my house or like,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: you know, my wife and I were eating at home,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: we're eating the same thing. Is that weird? Weird? Why
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: is it weird when you're going Why is it weird
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: if we go to a place and.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: We ordered the same Okay, well, I have a rule
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: for myself when I go to a restaurant, and that
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: is I order stuff that I normally wouldn't have at home.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Is that weird?
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Like, I'm not going to order spaghetti at a restaurant.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: You can make the easiest thing in the world to make.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I'll order something I normally would Dad.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I respect.
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: But the offshoot of that, and you make a great point.
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: If we're all eating at my house, we'd all beating
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: the same thing.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: You go to a fancy dinner party, everybody's eating the
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: same thing.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: The offshoot of that is, are we it's always we?
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: Are we ordering breakfast or lunch? Like I don't know?
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: You can order whatever you want? No, no, no, Like
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: I don't want someone to order practice someone?
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Why is that? What does that matter?
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: Are we ordering breakfast or lunch?
- 1:21:21Speaker 13: I do get the husband wife thing because you're treating
- 1:21:24Speaker 13: yourself to a meal you don't normally have.
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: And what if I want by your stuff?
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: That's true about Sharer. Yeah see, I'm not ordering with
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: the idea that we're going to share that she.
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: Is not even with your wife.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: She is, I promise the ladies always are. Guys don't
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: like to share, but she and she never asks. Really, yeah,
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: I must.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Be a lady.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: I'm the same way, Morgan. Yeah, if I'll order this,
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: you order that and then we can try it.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: I'm going to take some of your food.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Totally so cute. It is cute.
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: It's called romance.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: We have a couple that we hang out with, and
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I think every time we go out with them, they
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: order one entree, one sound they split between the two
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: of them, and it's not to be cheap. I think
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: they just both eat like birds. Yeah, you know it's
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: just too much food. Yeah, nice, yeah, but I mean
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: just yeah, it's like a there's some menus, some restaurants
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: that will say no splitting their sharing sharing fee. Yeah,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: it's well, what are we going to order? So they're
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: ordering the same thing because they're gonna split it.
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: So that's funny. Do you guys think it's it's tacky
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: to take food home? Like when they're like, oh, do
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: you want to wrap this up?
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: And be like no, no, like you don't all I
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: bought it. There's just certain things I know I won't
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: eat later, like a sandwich, I'm not taking really, yeah,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: because it it's I don't it's soggy, it doesn't take.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: It's like salad doesn't keep, French fries don't keep. And
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: you can argue with me all day. It doesn't keep.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Not the same. It's not worth it unless it's the steakhouse.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: I'll never do leftover a piece of steak. A pasta dish,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I'll take that all day.
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: You can eat that.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: I think like a pasta dish is better the next day.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: See, that's totally agree heard that you think that it is.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: It is like a sandwich doesn't keep, but pasta taste.
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: Yes, it's better.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, absolutely right, Mommy. No, today is uh officially lent.
- 1:23:20Speaker 14: Oh?
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Yes, so what are you giving up? Sammy was trying
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: to decide between a couple of different things.
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: Yes, so you're really doing this and you do this?
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: I do it sometimes, she says, she gives up multiple things.
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: Yeah, sometimes, just look for fun.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I love you have a list of things that you
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: should give up, so just let us know if you
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: need help.
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: You guys have a list. I have a list for
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: you guys too.
- 1:23:38Speaker 9: Well, what have you given up in the past, such
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: as I've done alcohol, sweets, meat, social media, shopping, big stuff.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, because that's the point.
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it's supposed to be diff.
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: Yeah, fast food, soda, no sacrifice.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Well it's no sweets. Yeah, like there's sugar and everything.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: You feel like that's something that you would want to
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: deal anyways, What do you mean like knowing you're eating habits?
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: But I'm like this now because of lent Sam He's
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: like no warm desserts, which I didn't eat anyways. So
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: I mean, okay, so this year I do have a
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: few in one of them that I think would be
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: really difficult, and I have not ever attempted anything like
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: this before.
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: Would be to give up, like complaining, I know.
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: It would be really hard.
- 1:24:30Speaker 8: But I read somewhere recently because I always.
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: Felt like venting and things like that is a good thing.
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: You need to get it out or whoever you're venting
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: to whatever. But I read that you're not supposed to
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: do that now because you're kind of it's making you
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: kind of sit.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: You're reinforcing, right, you're reliving it when you do that.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: What are you supposed to do?
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: Get over it? Yeah?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Just I guess just move on. You said that in
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: an interview that I recently saw. It was Bruce Lee.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Really yeah, having those having those type of thoughts, it's
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: just not good.
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: For that would be so fun if we were just
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: egging at you know, egging you on and trying to
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: get you to complain.
- 1:25:04Speaker 5: You're like, no, it's fun.
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: For Jesus.
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: So other ones.
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: I put alcohol on the list, but I've done that before.
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: I don't really drink that much anyways.
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: Oh, last year I did no phone in bed at all,
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: so I can't scroll before I go to bet or
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: anything like that. So this year on the list of possibilities,
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: this can only be on my phone when I'm standing
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: up that way I'm aware, so like, I can't just
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: like sit on the couch or be laying around on
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: my phone or doing a docking situation where the phone
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: is essentially like a landline. So it's like a landline.
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: You keep it in one the same spot and you
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: can get up and check it, but it's not with
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: you all the time.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: I'm really bad at watching new things on TV. I
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: like to go back and watch the same things over
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: and over again. So instead of giving up TV altogether,
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: I can watch it, but only if it's something new
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: and I haven't seen before.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: No, exactly off Jesus. I was just gonna say, Jesus
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: is not going to be impressed by that. You're not
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: getting in to heave it on that one from and.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: Then the final one, which I mean, I don't live
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: with steamboat willly, so this wouldn't be too much. But
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: if I gave up complete control of either the remote
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: or what we eat, so he can't he can always
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: choose whatever.
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: We're watching or whatever we're going to.
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: We're just like right now, he really doesn't happen.
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: And your first date, like you, you yelled at him
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: because it was like a restaurant you'd never been to.
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I didn't.
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: I didn't want to for sure. I'm okay, I've done better,
- 1:26:30Speaker 8: but I still like things that he.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Wants to know. You might be able to tackle two
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: things at once. The giving up the complaining might solve
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: the issue with the remote control and the dinner.
- 1:26:41Speaker 8: It would be because you can't complain, true, Yeah.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: You can't complain, right, you can't complain, then it doesn't
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: matter what.
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: But I could say, you know, i'd rather have this.
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: It's not complaining, that's just voicing a press, right.
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: But you can't nag about.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: What you really mean when you're saying something a certain way.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Just because you word it differently does not mean you're
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: not complaining. Jesus will know.
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: I mean, because complaining can't just be I agree with
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: everything that everyone says, does.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: Anything that I have a question when you say I'd
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: rather not have that, but then continue to say, oh,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: you know what, but I really want to have it.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: What are you going to say? Then? But what do
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: you mean? But I say, he goes, Okay, I want
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: to go eat at you know, McDonald's. And you say, well,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: i'd rather not have that, and he goes, but I
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: really want to go. So we're going to go there
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: to McDonald's.
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, that would be tough for me, or
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: just start.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: Small sometimes that I was like, yeah, let's go to McDonald's.
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: You go to McDonald's and enjoy it and I will
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: see you in an hour.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Yes, relinquishing control of what to eat and what to watch,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: that'd be great.
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: Yeah, And I feel like I could use that in
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: my life of like needing to not try and control everything.
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: It's gonna be the best month of his life.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Question on the text is Sammy giving something up for
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: lent because it's trendy, or do you actually go to
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: church or you like a practicing it's not trendy.
- 1:28:02Speaker 8: I've been doing it since I was young. Maybe it's trendy.
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: Is it like an influencer thing?
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: But do I go to church.
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: I'll go on ash Wednesday sometimes and like on holidays
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: like maybe Easter, Christmas.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: I'm one of those Christian the twice a year Christian.
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: But I have found lent to be very beneficial to
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: me that I choose to do it because I think
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: it's valuable.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: But yeah, to go to the Texter though. I don't
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: believe that Sammy's doing it to be trendy at all.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: But Jesus is a big time right now, right.
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: Do j C? Yeah?
- 1:28:37Speaker 13: I agree, He's all over the place. I'm getting ads
- 1:28:40Speaker 13: on social media. Is it your year to come to church?
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I'm like, am I yeah, yeah, Jesus.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: J C is crushing right now entertainment young people.
- 1:28:52Speaker 13: Because it used to be like people will keep their
- 1:28:53Speaker 13: religion or beliefs the secret, but now.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: It's like hot Jesus. I know he's up. Yeah, cool,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: she's trending. I didn't know what I would give up.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: I got to think about it.
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: I got stuff for all you guys are.
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: Well think of everything about intrigue.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: But we'll hear what Sammy has to say. I'd be
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: really curious to see what how can you mess with
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: my perfection? Yeah, and if you got one for yourself,
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: you can you can share that too, and we'll see
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: maybe Tay, maybe it's the same thing like a match game. Yeah,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: that'd be great. You know you're right on track to
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: see if and match all right? And then uh yeah
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: eight seven, seven forty four. I'm just trying to think
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: of what what would be good like, what would be
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: actually something difficult? Not a cop out one. It's what's
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: up with? What's going terrible? In SOCO sports were Jeff
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: g Hey, good morning, Jeff G.
- 1:29:51Speaker 17: What's going on? And good morning Wood? You show no
- 1:29:53Speaker 17: NBA today. They are offense till tomorrow. They're continuing the
- 1:29:57Speaker 17: All Star break. We've got some Lakers news late last night.
- 1:30:00Speaker 17: Lakers center DeAndre Ayton was busted with weed on his
- 1:30:04Speaker 17: way back from the Bahamas on its All Star break.
- 1:30:06Speaker 17: No Chargers filed, but it explains a lot about the
- 1:30:09Speaker 17: way he's been playing this season. Moving on to the
- 1:30:12Speaker 17: fight game, man throwbacks are in, at least when it
- 1:30:15Speaker 17: comes to boxing in MMA. We heard about it over
- 1:30:18Speaker 17: the weekend, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather going to do
- 1:30:20Speaker 17: an exhibition match on April twenty fifth in the Congo.
- 1:30:23Speaker 17: And then yesterday it was announced that Netflix is going
- 1:30:26Speaker 17: to have its first ever live MMA event, Ronda Rousey
- 1:30:29Speaker 17: versus Gina Carrano. That's Saturday, May sixteenth at the Into
- 1:30:33Speaker 17: It Dome right here in Los Angeles. This fight's about
- 1:30:35Speaker 17: ten years overdue, but it still should be fun.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: And don't worry.
- 1:30:38Speaker 17: I already put in a call to the Into It
- 1:30:40Speaker 17: Dome and Netflix. We're gonna try to get Morgan on
- 1:30:43Speaker 17: that under card.
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: Nice.
- 1:30:44Speaker 17: Moving on to college hoops, UCLA got cooked by Michigan State.
- 1:30:47Speaker 17: Ruins lost by twenty three USC Illinois tonight at the
- 1:30:51Speaker 17: Galen Center. Champions League soccer, Real, Madrid, PSG, and Dortmund
- 1:30:55Speaker 17: all won yesterday. Four more Champions League matches today, starting
- 1:30:58Speaker 17: at nine to forty five am. Baseball, former Dodgers World
- 1:31:01Speaker 17: Series champ Walker Buehler is joining the Padres at spring
- 1:31:05Speaker 17: training on a minor league deal, and even he thinks
- 1:31:08Speaker 17: it's weird that he's wearing Padre gear.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels a little weird. I imagine five years
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: ago it would have been a lot more weird.
- 1:31:13Speaker 17: Hey, if you want to guarantee yourself not to win
- 1:31:16Speaker 17: a World Series and San Diego is the place to be,
- 1:31:19Speaker 17: I'm Jeff G.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: And that's your so Cal Sports, Jeff G. It is
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: the Woody Show, The Woody Show. Curious to see what
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Sammy has for, she said that she came up with
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: ideas of what we should each individually, right, Yes, that
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: will individually be giving up for.
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: I'm scared.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: All right, who's first?
- 1:31:42Speaker 8: Okay, let's start with menace.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: This is the most obvious to me.
- 1:31:46Speaker 8: He would have to give up door dash.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: That's good. So I go to the store. Delivery is that? Yeah?
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: That was Is it all deliveries, Well.
- 1:31:57Speaker 8: It would be for food, Yeah, for food.
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: For food, No food deliveries. You'd actually have to get
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: up and go.
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: Get it because ice cream.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: I've tried this before and I deleted the ab and
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: like lasted probably three months, and then downloaded it again
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: to cover len and I door dashed twice last night.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Yeah it doubled. Okay, Yeah, I ordered dinner and then
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: like half hour later I ordered ice cream. All right, okay,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: what about.
- 1:32:29Speaker 8: Greg, Greg, Greg, I have two for you, alcohol or vaping.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: Those would be the ones I have for myself. So
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: I agree with that one thousand persons.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: Which one would be more difficult, Probably the vaping because
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: it's more readily available vaping.
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: And really, and when I'm sick, I don't drink. Like
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: when I was mega sick. Recently I would. I was
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: noteworthy because I went I think, god, nine days without
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: drinking something like that.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: Still and I'm still living, okay.
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: But the vaping thing, you become such a right there,
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: it's right there the car, you do. I bring it
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: to bed? Now you do In case I wake up
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: in the middle of the night, I can just reach over.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: Just no vaping in the middle of the don't leave
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: it in the bedroom.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: That's a good idea.
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: Yeah, don't get it.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: That was vaping something that you know you are interested
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: in quitting. I mean, I feel like I'm gonna have
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: to because it wasn't that like part of the whole
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: you quit smoking and you went to vapor. Oh yeah,
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: it wasn't like. It wasn't like, oh, I'm gonna stop smoking.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: I'm just gonna vape now. I mean that was it
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: was part of the whole process to eliminate all that, right, right, okay,
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: but it just replaced smoking.
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: And it's worse than smoking as a non vapor well
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: because it's just constant. When I had a cigarette, I
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: would have like what one before the show, one after
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: the show. With vaping, it's just the.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: Whole time, Like I'll vape marijuana like you know, every
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: couple of weeks. But the thing is, I don't get
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: regular vape, Like what does this even do?
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: I ask any smoke or that. It doesn't really do anything.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: It just mainz. Nicotine's nicotine. You're getting the fix of nicotine.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: The last time I got buzzed with nicotine, I think
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: I was twelve. Yeah, but what does that even do?
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: It just gives you a slight buzz for a couple
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: of seconds and that goes away after about a week.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: So again, I haven't been buzzed off nicotine breathing in
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: the air for no reason. To get the nicotine, to
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: get nicotine, and to get that nicotine fix. What's called
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: a throat hit, like you feel it and it feels.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: And I like that, not getting and Greg was putting
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: things in his mouth. Sure, we're walking. Sorry, we were
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: walking to the garage yesterday after the show, and Gina
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: was giving Greg bj tips. Oh yeah, that is that
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: useful you think for me?
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: No, because you and I have different things when it
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: comes to that. What's spitting and swallowing? Yeah, there's no
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: reason to ye.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: But it doesn't mean yea. So Gina says, right, not
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: the reason No, Well, I mean it was just to Alloyd.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: The gag reflects, right, So is that.
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: But that doesn't aply basically no.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: Not really. She puts her she puts her tongue.
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: Up like she doesn't even know this.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: She puts her she puts her tongue up the very end,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: in the very end, right.
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: Before because they don't know the damn.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a wall that goes up. Yeah. So
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: she's talking to Greg about this and on the way
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: to the garage. Okay, terrific. Yeah, my tip would be
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: the opposite. Just keep it wide open, Gina. What do
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: you got for Gina?
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: Gana, I have two for you.
- 1:35:37Speaker 6: So one of them that you would be giving up
- 1:35:39Speaker 6: would just be staying like sedentary, like sitting a lot.
- 1:35:44Speaker 8: She never stands out during the show.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I don't leave the studio.
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: I don't leave.
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: She's been knitting a lot, so she's really been sitting
- 1:35:51Speaker 6: a lot, and I think you need to make an
- 1:35:52Speaker 6: effort to be standing up right around a little bit.
- 1:35:56Speaker 8: That's what you need to be giving up.
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I literally don't leave this chair.
- 1:35:59Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:35:59Speaker 5: The other thing is stop sending memes that.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: No exactly relate to you guys after the show.
- 1:36:10Speaker 6: Okay, So for Morgan, I have staying up late or
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: not napping, Like you have to figure out for forty days,
- 1:36:17Speaker 6: you have to get x amount of hours of sleep
- 1:36:20Speaker 6: and you have to do it.
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: That's good.
- 1:36:22Speaker 8: So you have to go lay in better. You have
- 1:36:24Speaker 8: to at least try and nap or go to bed early.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: Okay, Okay. The sacrifice would be whatever it would take
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: to make that happen, to make that over the next
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: discipline days.
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: I've already I'm not going to stop training at nice.
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: Doesn't matter what you figure it out, whatever that means
- 1:36:40Speaker 4: to you to get that amount of sleep.
- 1:36:42Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, okay, Woodie, for you, I have two as well.
- 1:36:47Speaker 6: I have limits screen time. I don't know if that's
- 1:36:50Speaker 6: still a thing for you, but for a little bit.
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: Your screen time was the thing and the other one
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: that you, I know are not.
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: Going to want to do.
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: Give up soda.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: No, I can give up soda, wife of it right
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: next to you. You have to drink something. Yeah, right,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: it's soda specifically, right, yes, okay, So it's not like
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: caffeine because, by the way, the caffeine does nothing for me,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: like nothing at all. Is it like greg, like it
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: gets you to zero? No?
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: Literally, like I could drink like people say, drink a
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: coc at night, and oh I'm not going to be
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: able to do.
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: I could drink a three liter of whatever mountain dew
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: and go right to sleep. It's crazy. It it just
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: doesn't have Yeah, it just doesn't have any effect on me.
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: But could you drink that much water?
- 1:37:29Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: I could. It's you know, it's fun, it's not as fun.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: It doesn't taste it. So my my wife actually said
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: that to me years ago. You couldn't go ten minutes
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: without I go fine. And this is more stubborn than anything.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: The stubborn is coming through. I go fine. And I
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: didn't have a drop of soda for over a year.
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: It started with I was gonna not gonna do it
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: for a week and then it ended up being a
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: whole year. But I didn't have any soda at all,
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: and it was just to prove it wrong, just to
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: your life wasn't better. It was just works. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: do you have any for anybody else?
- 1:37:59Speaker 5: No, that's everything.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: Okay, good, that's that's good. Those are good. Did you
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: have one for Sea Bass? I don't know where he is.
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: I did have one for Yeah, I don't know where
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: he's either. But he would have to give up mindless snacking.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: Oh he's a little snack addict. Yeah, that'd be tough,
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: you know, because I was trying to think what would
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: it be for me? I would love to give up
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: making decisions. I'm so they called decision fatigue.
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: That's not sacrifice.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: No, So I'm trying to figure out how to get
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: to a place where I have to make fewer decisions, right,
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: so that that's that's an overall goal. But when it
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: comes to like a sacrifice thing, because you're right at
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: that same thing. Uh, Mine was more about what you
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: had for Gina, which is like for you know, however
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: many days this goes on, Uh, you have to do
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: some type of physical activity, whether go for a walk
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: to no specific length or time or whatever. It could
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: be as simple as doing ten push ups. It something.
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: No like I love going on walks, but in this
- 1:39:03Speaker 4: chair like my it's like my ass is hermetically sealed
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: to it.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: And you're absolutely right, what would yours?
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: Ben?
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: Pick one for yourself?
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: Mine would be one of three things I narrowed it done,
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: you guys tell me is sitting while watching TV like
- 1:39:17Speaker 4: you gotta be like up and move in, you know,
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: like just like Sammy said, keeping my phone by the bed,
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: which is a big reason I stay up later than
- 1:39:24Speaker 4: I should. Or something I have never done at a
- 1:39:28Speaker 4: job in public and anything. Could I go all of
- 1:39:31Speaker 4: lent and this would not be good for you guys
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: to look at me not wearing makeup. I've never not
- 1:39:37Speaker 4: put makeup on.
- 1:39:38Speaker 5: If you want, you know, I don't think we would that.
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: That's the one I would not want to do more
- 1:39:44Speaker 4: than the hardest for you. It's one hundred percent coming
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: in here with no makeup would.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: Be the hardest. Really, Okay, they'll do. The phone is
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: smoking and the ye I'm sorry drinking. If you had
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: to pick one for yourself, man, oh, I definitely have
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: been working on it, but not one hundred percent. Is
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: the scrolling on the phone at home big time. We
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: do it for our kids. We set the you know,
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: there's a screen amount, like a screen time amount or
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: then it stops, yeah, like at a certain time. Yeah,
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: like you could set like for certain apps, you can.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: You could set it where it's like the app stops working.
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: You just you're screaming from upstairs.
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: No, because they requests more time and it sends like
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: a message to our phone. We can either approve it
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: or not. Most time we just ignore it. Also, like
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: if I am online, I have to be like learning
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: something that day, like something like you know, AI related
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: or something. Morgan, what would you choose for yourself?
- 1:40:38Speaker 13: This is gonna be tough for now because I have
- 1:40:40Speaker 13: a roommate, but I really want to get out to
- 1:40:42Speaker 13: have it. Yeah, but I'm bad at taking food to
- 1:40:45Speaker 13: my room and like watching it in front of like
- 1:40:48Speaker 13: the laptop or whatever like, so I want to just
- 1:40:50Speaker 13: like only stand in the kitchen and eat and leave
- 1:40:52Speaker 13: it there, okay, because that'll help me eat less.
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: Are you one of those ladies that have like water
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: bottles stacked up on the side of your bed? Also
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: less vermin?
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: Oh, yeahroaches.
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: In your little hole and eat in your room like yeah,
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: she said, bringing food to the room, and Greg and
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: I looked at you like, oh god, drums, dirty plates.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: We're gonna take a break. We got more what he
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: show for you next time? Right back. Hell, it's sweaty,
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: it's Greg Gory, it's Menace, seas Sammy, We got Morgan
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: and ladies and gentlemen. We have a couple of guests
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: joining us for this next segment. It's time for what
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: is show Crossfire and were bringing two of MENACE's oldest friends.
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: He's known these guys, uh, both for a long time,
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: all long time. Yeah, we have him on the show
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: to share with us. There are thoughts and opinions about
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: things not only just going on in their own personal lives,
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: but also like things that we were hearing about and
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: talking about in the news the Big Half. So let's
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: go right to our panel, and first we'll say hello
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: to Hammer and Hank. Hammeron Hank, all right, way show.
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: What's up buddy? Are you doing buddy? Imagine all right, buddy. Well,
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: so we have Hammer and Hank, and then we also
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: have online ladies and gentlemen. Say hi to half baits.
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: What's up? Well, shut them up? All right? Hammer and
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: Hank and half Bag. Well, let's just start on a
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: on more of a personal level. Hank, we had a
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: question for you Menace. Noticed that you did like a
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: photo shoot. Uh and where you have you were holding
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: a guitar. What is that all about?
- 1:42:52Speaker 16: Well, we had it doing some for class an album
- 1:42:57Speaker 16: and then decided to shoot Sean Mendez.
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: Oh, Shawn Mendez, So you're re enacting a photo Shawn Mendez?
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: Oh really, you look a lot like him in the photo.
- 1:43:08Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't know. I didn't know you were in school. Okay,
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: what do you what are you studying radio broadcasting?
- 1:43:16Speaker 16: I'll try and get back into commercial radio.
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, just giving your skills strong, you get it? Okay? Yeah,
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: because we saw that we weren't quite sure.
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: I didn't know you played the guitar.
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: I didn't know you were like called Santana or something. Yeah.
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: And then uh, and then let's check in with with
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: Half Backed as well, Half picked for you. Any uh
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: any update on your work situation, Like, how's the work
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: situation going?
- 1:43:38Speaker 16: Really?
- 1:43:39Speaker 18: Will?
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: Yeah? All right, did you get like a like a
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: promotion or a raise of some kind no, but.
- 1:43:45Speaker 7: It's going well.
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: But it's going well all right. Well great status quo, Yeah,
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: status status quo. You do have a trip to San Diego.
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: It's like the annual trip that you take, right, Yeah,
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: I go to see you.
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: Nice.
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you do on this weekend trip to
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: San Diego that you take every year?
- 1:44:06Speaker 14: We go to Sill's Barbecue and still Taco, but we
- 1:44:12Speaker 14: also go to the Hooters but they closed.
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so it just sounds like a like a little
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: food tour. Yeah, you just go down there and just
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: hit up different Yeah.
- 1:44:25Speaker 7: I went to the Hooters once and met the Billa Twins.
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: Wrestling girls, right, Hooters?
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: And how did that go? Did you hit it off
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: of them?
- 1:44:39Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: Nice?
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: What body contacts? Sweet? That's cool. Got a hug.
- 1:44:48Speaker 7: Before they were celebrities, they worked there.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: The Bela Twins were Hooters girls. You don't say. I
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: did want to ask you both. Are you guys coming
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: to the Woody Show event that we're going to be having.
- 1:45:03Speaker 19: I will be coming down in July August, so no,
- 1:45:10Speaker 19: not till July or August.
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: And I know i'd heard that Hank that you weren't
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: going to be able to make it to our event.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: Either we're very disappointed.
- 1:45:17Speaker 16: I mean I never got a chaperone.
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I need to get to and we have
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: put menace on that whole thing, and I guess Menasa
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: just came up short on that one.
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: You'll be there in spirit.
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all right. Well, we'll catch you at a
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: future what do you show event? All right, guys, what
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: do you show? Crossfire? We have these different things in
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: the news that we're going to ask your opinions on.
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: Please don't hold back, Please give us your honest opinions
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: about all these things. In the first thing that we'll
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: bring up, we will talk about the Olympics. The Olympics, Uh,
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: do you have a favorite event? Is part of the
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: first question. And the second question would be, let's say
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: that you were forced to compete in the Olympics. What
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: event do you think you would have the best shot
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: at getting a medal in? And we'll start with the
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: We'll start with you half baked.
- 1:46:00Speaker 7: I think I'm very an athletic, so nothing.
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: But you'd have to pick. You'd have to pick one event,
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: like if you had to give yourself a shot at
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: something like there's a few events that are pretty easy.
- 1:46:11Speaker 12: Curling, probably basketball, Yeah, Olympic sports basketball.
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: Are you into the Olympics all? Are you watching any
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: of the games?
- 1:46:22Speaker 19: Well, in ninety two, when I was a ten year
- 1:46:26Speaker 19: old boy eleven, I thought the bessketball dream team was.
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: I did take it, you know, I made a professional.
- 1:46:41Speaker 7: Yeah, and now no one cares about it, But.
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: Back then it was. It was Michael Jordan, Larry Bird
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: and Magic Johnson. Is all those Team Barkley, all those dudes?
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: All right, So the same question for you, Hammer and Hank?
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: Are you Let's start with are you watching the Olympics
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: at all?
- 1:47:00Speaker 16: Not at all? Because I'd rather watch Super Kitties?
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: Super What super Kitties?
- 1:47:07Speaker 14: Yes?
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: What's super Kitty?
- 1:47:08Speaker 16: Super Kitty is a Disney Junior culture show.
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: How did you know what it is?
- 1:47:15Speaker 12: Man?
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: I didn't, But this is the best answer I've heard.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: Super Kitties.
- 1:47:20Speaker 14: It looks like.
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: Power puff Girls with their cats.
- 1:47:23Speaker 4: That's kind of what I'm talking.
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: How did you get into this show? Hank?
- 1:47:26Speaker 16: I discovered on Disney Junior and I watched it almost
- 1:47:31Speaker 16: every day.
- 1:47:32Speaker 4: Okay, hey, Hank, who's your favorite bitsy? Jinny?
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: Buddy or Sparks?
- 1:47:36Speaker 20: Definitely Buddy, Yeahbuddy, they're super even though you're not watching
- 1:47:43Speaker 20: the Olympics, Hank, Let's just say that somebody came to
- 1:47:45Speaker 20: you and they said that you had to compete in
- 1:47:47Speaker 20: an Olympic game and Olympic sport.
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: What sport do you think you would be the best at?
- 1:47:52Speaker 16: Definitely basketball.
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: That's a dream team right there, right, Hank and half Bick.
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: I would pay to see a one on one between you.
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: Hell yeah, Big.
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: Rudy one on one, one on one. Okay, sure, the
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: Cream team, because that's what the Cream team.
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: All right, our next question what do you show crossfire?
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: Half Baked and Hammer and Hank. The next thing that
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: we're going to talk about, we're gonna talk about lent.
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: Uh what do you think that you should give up
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: for lent? That is a that is that is the
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: first part of a two part question here, half Baked,
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: We'll start with you, what do you think that you
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: if you were going to challenge yourself, what would be
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: difficult for forty days? What would you think it would
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: be difficult for you to give up for forty days?
- 1:48:40Speaker 14: Ribs?
- 1:48:41Speaker 7: Rib? Yeah?
- 1:48:42Speaker 4: Okay, I agree, yes, So is that is that your
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: new thing?
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: Like ribs?
- 1:48:48Speaker 7: Yea eat them all the time, and you want to
- 1:48:51Speaker 7: hear something allful. Of course I did the twenty dollars ribs.
- 1:48:58Speaker 7: That two is our toy dollars.
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: Now I thought you said awesome. That doesn't sound like
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: awesome at all. That awesome? But is that Your go
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: to for for ribs is going to Chili's.
- 1:49:11Speaker 7: No?
- 1:49:11Speaker 15: I like my favorite ribs ever is Pills in San Diego.
- 1:49:18Speaker 15: But that's a San Diego explusive ca unttainable.
- 1:49:23Speaker 7: So I goed up Famous.
- 1:49:29Speaker 19: Nice in the Famous Beeves and Hayward now worked there
- 1:49:36Speaker 19: for eight or ten.
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: That's another job that I didn't know you. I didn't
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: know you worked at a rib place all right, Famous Days?
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: And what can I ask why you left that job?
- 1:49:46Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:49:46Speaker 1: Why'd you leave Famous Days? Yeah?
- 1:49:48Speaker 7: It's dried up and the hours got.
- 1:49:53Speaker 4: His choice A right.
- 1:49:55Speaker 1: Hank will ask you the same question, what do you
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: think would be a challenge for you to give up?
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: For lean? If you had to quit something for forty days,
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: what would be you think the biggest challenge for you
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: to give up?
- 1:50:04Speaker 16: I'll give up all would except for Mexican food, My
- 1:50:08Speaker 16: Mexican food.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: All right, So you would give up all other food
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: for just forty days. Yeah, Mexican you could only eat
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: Mexican food. That's christ Okay, Now do you think that
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: would something that would be seen favorably in the eyes
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: of the Lord? Like do you think Jesus would be
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: happy with that level of sacrifice or like Mexican food?
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you have to give up give up
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: something food.
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying so, I think it would be like,
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: do you think you could give up Mexican food for
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: forty days? Because it sounds like it's obviously your favorite.
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: It has to be a challenge, but you have to
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: give up Mexican food for forty days.
- 1:50:41Speaker 16: I wouldn't give up Mexican food, but I would give
- 1:50:43Speaker 16: up Chinese food for forty days.
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: Oh me too? All right, how would give up?
- 1:50:48Speaker 12: I would give up Indian cuisine the way he thinks
- 1:50:50Speaker 12: for this l th deal where you know half a
- 1:50:54Speaker 12: half bag gets eats only Mexican food and hammer and
- 1:50:57Speaker 12: Nankees only ribs for forty days?
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I would you would you do? Do you think
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: you I got half bake? Do you think that you
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: could eat ribs for forty days straight? Probably not get
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: sick of it? Now, do either one of you guys
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: think that Jesus will see his shadow this Easter?
- 1:51:15Speaker 7: Or I would say, yes, yes, okay, do you think.
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: He's gonna see a shadow? So okay, let's it's what
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: he showed crossfire. We have a half baked and hammer
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: and Hank. And since now we're past the Super Bowl,
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: of course you still got March madness coming. Once March
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: Madness has done, that's really where we get into like
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: a real dry spell as far as the sports go.
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: Uh So, I'm gonna ask you guys to power rank sports.
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: I know you guys are both baseball fans. I would
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: assume baseball is your number one? But after baseball, how
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: would you rank the sports? Half baked? And let's just
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: keep it to the majors? Baseball, Basketball, football, hockey.
- 1:51:53Speaker 15: Well, I'm retired from basketball and baseball. Well baseball, basketball
- 1:52:02Speaker 15: is shreds all right?
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: So okay, so what's what's your number one? Is it football?
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: Then if you said baseball is kind of taking a vaccine,
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: football is number one, all right? Followed by what would
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: be in the number two spot? Hockey? Hockey number two?
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:52:18Speaker 16: Uh?
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: And then what then baseball? Yeah all right? And then
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: what got's about about basketball for.
- 1:52:23Speaker 15: You, Well, all anyone does is shoot threes, and I
- 1:52:29Speaker 15: want Lakers Lebron to go.
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: Okay, okay, all right, and then Hammer and Hank or
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: you know what, I agree, I'm over Lebron. He just
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: seems like such a douche. Hammer and Hank. Let's ask
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: you the same question. I'm assuming for you, though, baseball
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: is by far number one, right, yes, all right? And
- 1:52:52Speaker 1: then uh what would be?
- 1:52:53Speaker 16: Then fall? Then basketball, then hockey. I have a fifth choice, Oh,
- 1:53:00Speaker 16: Nascar racing?
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: Nice? You like Nascar?
- 1:53:04Speaker 14: Huh?
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: Who's your driver?
- 1:53:06Speaker 16: Kyle, Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson.
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: Just any Kyle?
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: So baseball.
- 1:53:16Speaker 16: They've them betweenty three McDonald's car.
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: Yeah, so baseball, football, Basketball, hockey, and then Nascar.
- 1:53:27Speaker 4: Sounds like, man, Nascar should be ahead of me.
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: At least one of these other sports. But cool, yeah, okay, cool,
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: yeah yeah, all right? Wood he show Crossfire, we got
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: Hammer and Hank, and we got half big.
- 1:53:44Speaker 20: Now.
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: We had some big news on the show here recently
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: where we found out that we have two people that
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: work on the show who are now roommates. Dumbass Tyler
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: is a roommate with Morgan. They moved into and it's
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: a we're getting quite the stories out out of that situation.
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: Have either one of you, We'll start with you half baked.
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: Have you ever had a roommate? Yeah?
- 1:54:06Speaker 15: I lived in Sacramento and six and I live with
- 1:54:12Speaker 15: two other dudes.
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: Yeah, And how did that go? Do that workout?
- 1:54:15Speaker 14: Okay?
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: Is out of situation that you were cool with or
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: like never again with roommates?
- 1:54:19Speaker 7: It was fine. They've stayed out of my room and
- 1:54:23Speaker 7: I stayed out of there.
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: But did you ever hang out with them?
- 1:54:27Speaker 14: Yea?
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: They mess?
- 1:54:28Speaker 7: Yeah, of course I did.
- 1:54:31Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: And was there any drama or everybody just kind of chill?
- 1:54:34Speaker 7: And it was pretty chill, pretty chill.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: Okay, situation, Hammer and Hank, How do you feel about roommates?
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: Have you had a roommate?
- 1:54:41Speaker 16: Yes? I had lots of roommates us living in a
- 1:54:45Speaker 16: dumb group Homan Minesto.
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: Okay, when you lived in the group home Ofdesto, you
- 1:54:48Speaker 1: had some roommates there. Now, as far as the idea
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: of roommates for where you are in life now, would
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: you still be open to living with roommates or you
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: done with that? You would? Okay? Oh, that's good. He
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: didn't ruin. Well, let me ask you a question of
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: all the people on this show?
- 1:55:04Speaker 7: So what?
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: He uh? And then Gina, Greg Menace, Sammy Sea Bass,
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: Who do you think would make the best roommate? Probably Gina?
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: Now why?
- 1:55:15Speaker 16: Because she likes pop music like Shawn Mendes and Brina
- 1:55:21Speaker 16: Cumber the Grande.
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: You talk about it all the time.
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, her favorite.
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: I can't shut about that.
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: Okay, all right? So he goes with with Gina. Gret
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: ask you the same question, half Baked. If you had
- 1:55:31Speaker 1: to be a roommate with anybody who works on this show,
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: who would it be? Minus your boys? Answer? Yeah? Now
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: why men is? What do you think would make Menace
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: a great roommate?
- 1:55:43Speaker 15: Because I've known him forever?
- 1:55:46Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:55:46Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: You know each other's quirks.
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: Yep, you sure do.
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: Say he's low maintenance. He's always having food around.
- 1:55:52Speaker 1: Although they didn't didn't have baked bleed all over your
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: doors when he was there. He knows I'll clean up
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: his messes. Yeah, chrumbs and blood yeah wait oreo cookies
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: throughout the house and crumbswhere it was cool before we
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: let you go? Hammer and Hank, is there anything you'd
- 1:56:11Speaker 1: like to mention? I know you have your podcast. Would
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: you like to mention your podcast and tell everybody where
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: they can find it.
- 1:56:17Speaker 16: Yes, I hosts a weekly podcast and my buddy Ryan Hoppy. Okay,
- 1:56:22Speaker 16: it's available on iHeartRadio, Spotify, h wherever you get your podcasts.
- 1:56:28Speaker 4: Okay, and what is it called the hand we'n Hank Show?
- 1:56:32Speaker 7: Was Ryan Hoppy?
- 1:56:35Speaker 11: Right?
- 1:56:35Speaker 19: It is?
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: Hey? Can we ask you a question? Because I texted
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: Ryan Hoppy with this question because I can't figure it out.
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: I asked you about it before. I would like you
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: to go get me the answer for this if you
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: can't think about it. I keep seeing because he does
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: a really good job of posting about your podcast and
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: letting people know there's a new episode. Every time I
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: see a picture, there's you, I see Hammer and Hank.
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: Whenever there's a picture of Ryan Hoppy, he's got this
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: blue dot over his face. Can you find that? What
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: that's all about? We've been really trying to figure out.
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: I can't put my finger on it, but I was like, I've.
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: Seen it.
- 1:57:06Speaker 16: Generations.
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: But can you I know you've you've given us like
- 1:57:10Speaker 1: that was your guest, But can you, like ask him
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: next time you you talked to him, ask him what
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: the blue dots all about on his face familiar and
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: then and then let us know what that's all about.
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: I'll try try, please try, please try, do your best,
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: and then let's see, half Baked, what's your current obsession?
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: I know for a while there was Nick Hogan Hooters.
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: What's your current obsession right now?
- 1:57:34Speaker 7: I'll never forgive Nick cog Yeah, yeah, but like right.
- 1:57:38Speaker 1: Now, like because he gets on, he gets on a thing.
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: You know, I have an idea, what what is it?
- 1:57:43Speaker 4: Hooked on?
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: What's wait until the Michael Jackson movie comes out? Oh okay,
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: he's gonna get hooked.
- 1:57:49Speaker 7: I'm not.
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: You're on my Michael Jackson old.
- 1:57:56Speaker 7: I'm really old now, and I'm not sure you step away?
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: Okay, So, like, what would be your like if all
- 1:58:07Speaker 1: these other things that we've mentioned, Hills, Nick Hogan, things
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: that you just kind of get keyed on and you
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: seem to stick on him for a while. What's your
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: current obsession right now? The thing that you just can't
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: stop thinking about? Well, at least give him your Michael
- 1:58:19Speaker 1: Jackson impression one last time. That's that's that's pretty good.
- 1:58:30Speaker 1: I will half baked, Hank thank you so much for
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: joining us again today. Always always great to talk to
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: you guys. What do you show? Crossfire? All right, half bag,
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: we'll talk all right, we'll talk to you all right.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: There they go, there's a half baked and hammer and
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: Hank see see you they're half baked. There he goes,
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: I guess see. Hank always says goodbye. He just hangs up.
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: He hangs up on me in the middle of conversation
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: all the time. Later come up the woody and typically
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: the question is am I the a hole?
- 1:59:08Speaker 4: What?
- 1:59:08Speaker 1: SeaBASS tells me that he has a question? Should he
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: be the a hole? And by the way, do you
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: think that you weren't in the room when the sami
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: brought up? Like what you should give up for lent? Yes,
- 1:59:20Speaker 1: but you should give up mindless snacking. Yeah, well I
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: would agree with that. I would say that this job
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: is the number one cause for that, because like when
- 1:59:31Speaker 1: you can choose not to do it, that's right, But
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: that's why it's mindless. Like on the weekends, I don't
- 1:59:35Speaker 1: have anything to eat probably till noon. But because we're
- 1:59:38Speaker 1: up so early here and you're just you're in a
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: zombie mode, You're you're sneaking around.
- 1:59:44Speaker 5: Yeah, so just plan ahead you think you can do.
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: Of course, in fact, then I declare it as of now,
- 1:59:51Speaker 4: he's gonna be one of those guys that eats in secret,
- 1:59:53Speaker 4: like what was that Paul Rudd movie where he was
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: eating like cupcakes.
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: Or something out of the garbage a man. Yeah.
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: So therefore if you if you catch me, I'll owe
- 2:00:03Speaker 4: you a hug.
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: You don't, you're a grown ass man. If you decide
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: you want to have a stack, you have a stack.
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: I am dude. Don't try to give me an out.
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: I'm going to try to get some Scout cookies right now.
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: This is should you be the a hole?
- 2:00:19Speaker 7: Right?
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: It goes back to my main and recurring pet peeve
- 2:00:23Speaker 3: of some people are just terrible at their jobs and
- 2:00:26Speaker 3: I don't think they have a feedback loop or else
- 2:00:29Speaker 3: they'd be better.
- 2:00:30Speaker 16: Uh.
- 2:00:30Speaker 3: And so this I for I have to open up
- 2:00:33Speaker 3: a business banking account for something I'll tell you guys
- 2:00:35Speaker 3: about later. And this business banking account has it's not
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: just an everyday plumber or whatever. You have to have
- 2:00:40Speaker 3: specific like a specific form for this type of business
- 2:00:43Speaker 3: banking account. And I was told by the person in
- 2:00:45Speaker 3: charge of the forum, Oh, go to this bank. They
- 2:00:47Speaker 3: do it all the time. Some other banks don't know
- 2:00:49Speaker 3: about this. They have all the stuff you'll be in
- 2:00:52Speaker 3: and out. So I go to that bank.
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: They have no idea. There's different business accounts. I thought
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: it was just a business account, right, personal account.
- 2:00:59Speaker 3: And I can't say why, but because of there's like
- 2:01:02Speaker 3: another form for the type of businesses.
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: Is you're selling your pants? Right?
- 2:01:08Speaker 3: Yeah, A certain form needs to be filed along with
- 2:01:10Speaker 3: this business account. So I show I show up. They
- 2:01:13Speaker 3: don't know anything about this form. Blah blah blah blah.
- 2:01:15Speaker 3: I had the form of course with them.
- 2:01:16Speaker 4: I show it to them. I say, oh, because the
- 2:01:18Speaker 4: form needs a bank account number and all that stuff
- 2:01:20Speaker 4: on it. And she says the lady okay, Well, I'll
- 2:01:23Speaker 4: talk to my office and i'll.
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: Get back to you.
- 2:01:26Speaker 4: Rights back to me, says yeah, come on in with
- 2:01:27Speaker 4: your form and we'll take care of it.
- 2:01:29Speaker 1: Come back.
- 2:01:30Speaker 4: She's like, oh wait, no, we can't do that.
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: You don't have They don't have this one little stamp
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: on the form that said you know you how bureaucracies are.
- 2:01:37Speaker 4: It's your stamp for this.
- 2:01:38Speaker 3: And you're like okay, And I tell I tell the
- 2:01:40Speaker 3: lady what I can't get this stamp on this form
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: until I feel file the form. And to file the form,
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: I need the bank account information, which only you can
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: give me.
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: It's like getting credit, right, yeah, credit unless you have
- 2:01:53Speaker 1: credit to be able to establish credit. Yeah.
- 2:01:56Speaker 3: So she says, I'll call back my corporate office and
- 2:01:59Speaker 3: it's well, we give you a temporary account numb if
- 2:02:01Speaker 3: you come back and you can file the form, like
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: I have to mail this off to the state capitol
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: and maybe the hint right there, and that'll take ten.
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: Days that you're registering whatever this business is right with
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: the state stage okay.
- 2:02:11Speaker 3: And she and they made me not send it back
- 2:02:13Speaker 3: to me. I don't have like the two weeks that
- 2:02:15Speaker 3: I'll probably take. And she's like, all right, I'll get
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: back to you later. So at this point I'll like,
- 2:02:19Speaker 3: screw her. I'm just going to my big national banking
- 2:02:23Speaker 3: chain that I work for. I show up, they know
- 2:02:25Speaker 3: exactly what's going on. I'm in and out in twenty minutes.
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: No problem.
- 2:02:30Speaker 4: In this week since that happened, she didn't write me back.
- 2:02:34Speaker 7: She did.
- 2:02:34Speaker 1: She didn't like, hey, how's it going, Hey can we
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: help you out? She's never well, she emailed me already.
- 2:02:39Speaker 4: She emailed me beforehand. So like you'd think, Hey, I
- 2:02:41Speaker 4: got a new account, I want to do it. So
- 2:02:44Speaker 4: here's the letter I have drafted to her.
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: Oh boy, there's the question should you send this? Okay?
- 2:02:50Speaker 19: Hi?
- 2:02:51Speaker 3: But again, this is now ten days after our last
- 2:02:53Speaker 3: conversation where she said we need to follow him.
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: For a guy who hates wasting time.
- 2:02:57Speaker 4: But that's the thing is she made me wait time
- 2:03:00Speaker 4: and I again and again.
- 2:03:03Speaker 3: This is not I'm not wasting her time. I'm preventing
- 2:03:05Speaker 3: the next hundred mees from having the same humanity.
- 2:03:09Speaker 16: Got it.
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: Look, I take side on this. This is not a
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: waste of time because it's a use of time.
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: It's a way to try to different sort of then
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: throws change on the ground. Guys, true, listen to my premise.
- 2:03:21Speaker 4: My preface for all this was, I'm trying to eliminate incompetence.
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: All right, let's hear the let's hear the letter. Thanks
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: very much for.
- 2:03:26Speaker 4: Your assistance thus far.
- 2:03:28Speaker 3: I'm ready to let you know that the other bank
- 2:03:30Speaker 3: was able to process and start the account with no
- 2:03:32Speaker 3: problems or extra stamping needed. Hopefully you can forward this
- 2:03:35Speaker 3: information to your office there. This will keep you all
- 2:03:38Speaker 3: from having to make the same mistake with future potential
- 2:03:41Speaker 3: clients regards set.
- 2:03:44Speaker 1: That's actually really good? Is it? Just to her?
- 2:03:49Speaker 3: She's the only one who I've had contact. Yeah, you
- 2:03:53Speaker 3: got to see it's the way she's the only contact
- 2:03:56Speaker 3: I've had.
- 2:03:56Speaker 5: She's not I've been.
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: Telling you for a decade LinkedIn you can find out
- 2:04:01Speaker 1: who's in charge of this lady, and I don't. That's
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: she's gonna delete it and it's all been a waste
- 2:04:08Speaker 1: of time for you. There's no impact.
- 2:04:10Speaker 3: Well, I think that because her here's the thing. She
- 2:04:14Speaker 3: it wasn't her saying that she couldn't do it. She
- 2:04:16Speaker 3: was blaming her corporate office at all points. She was
- 2:04:19Speaker 3: saying because she wasn't giving me these instructions. She was saying,
- 2:04:21Speaker 3: this is what my corporate office told me to tell you.
- 2:04:24Speaker 1: Okay, and whatever. I mean, it's my office number.
- 2:04:27Speaker 3: And but I'm saying that she could forwarded this to
- 2:04:29Speaker 3: the corporate office saying, hey, guys, you really screwed it.
- 2:04:31Speaker 1: You really screwed me on this. But you got the
- 2:04:34Speaker 1: account right, it's open.
- 2:04:35Speaker 4: You just had to go somewhere else for it, right
- 2:04:36Speaker 4: right after wasting days and hours. Okay, Yeah, so send
- 2:04:40Speaker 4: send a letter it's nothing, nothing's gonna happen. She I agree,
- 2:04:45Speaker 4: But like you're saying, you're not blaming her specifically, well
- 2:04:49Speaker 4: maybe passive aggressive, but it's something she can forward to
- 2:04:52Speaker 4: her people and be like, look, see this is what
- 2:04:54Speaker 4: the people are pissed.
- 2:04:55Speaker 3: You do that.
- 2:04:56Speaker 1: People. People don't like it when you see see there
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: are other anybody else on whatever the email is right,
- 2:05:04Speaker 1: because they think, oh you're it's.
- 2:05:05Speaker 4: Like a gotcha, Yeah you're trying to out them.
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Now people do that to me, and I don't
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: care because it's fine. In fact, whenever there's something going on,
- 2:05:15Speaker 1: like he said, she said type thing I'm very much of.
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: Let's get everybody together. Now, you tell me what you
- 2:05:22Speaker 1: said in front of this other person who's you said
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: you had a conversation with, and we'll see if what
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: you're telling me magic because they'll go, oh yeah, that's right,
- 2:05:29Speaker 1: and we can eliminate the confusion or the miscommunication right here.
- 2:05:32Speaker 1: But typically there's always somebody who's changed the story or
- 2:05:36Speaker 1: didn't do something they were supposed to do, and so
- 2:05:38Speaker 1: it's fine. So you see, see, if she did everything
- 2:05:40Speaker 1: she was supposed to do with her bank and go
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: through the proper channels, they'll go, yes, Maria, you followed
- 2:05:47Speaker 1: procedure and that's fine. Otherwise, the only people that get
- 2:05:51Speaker 1: mad about getting you know, their manager or whoever sees
- 2:05:54Speaker 1: seed on something is someone who didn't do what they
- 2:05:56Speaker 1: were supposed to do.
- 2:05:57Speaker 3: This is why I'm not doing this on LinkedIn or
- 2:05:59Speaker 3: yell or anything like that, because they that's the that's
- 2:06:02Speaker 3: the current modern day things like I went there for
- 2:06:05Speaker 3: this one star, they didn't do this.
- 2:06:07Speaker 1: I'm telling I'm never coming here again, even an email then,
- 2:06:10Speaker 1: because like if it wasn't her, well, if it wasn't
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: her issue, well it was her issue.
- 2:06:17Speaker 3: Now now she could be an advocate for the next
- 2:06:19Speaker 3: person saying I've dealt with this before. You guys are wrong,
- 2:06:22Speaker 3: Let's do this better next week. You're not actually BECAUSI aggressive.
- 2:06:24Speaker 1: Two things. Can't wait to hear this businesses. You know
- 2:06:27Speaker 1: what I mean That he's spending all this time, you know,
- 2:06:30Speaker 1: mister time management guy.
- 2:06:32Speaker 4: It's not my choice to spend the time.
- 2:06:33Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to hearing what this business is that
- 2:06:36Speaker 1: you got going. The other thing is, did you ever
- 2:06:38Speaker 1: get any response from the email that you sent to
- 2:06:41Speaker 1: the Apartment of Managers?
- 2:06:43Speaker 4: It wasn't an email was a letter. Yeah, it was
- 2:06:47Speaker 4: a printed letter with printed receipts.
- 2:06:49Speaker 3: Literally, I sent it to the CEO of this bigger, big,
- 2:06:52Speaker 3: big compartment company, as well as like two other people
- 2:06:55Speaker 3: who had like operating sort of uh status status received.
- 2:06:59Speaker 1: No, oh, that went right to the garbage cupcakes.
- 2:07:09Speaker 3: Absolutely, they're at least made aware of it. If I
- 2:07:11Speaker 3: were them, I would probably it would. It would be smart,
- 2:07:14Speaker 3: not because I wasn't asking for money or anything, but
- 2:07:16Speaker 3: it was. It's smart not to publicly acknowledge that sort
- 2:07:19Speaker 3: of thing, just because that lend creates a paper trail
- 2:07:21Speaker 3: that you know, there's competence or.
- 2:07:22Speaker 1: That text he says, I work for a big bank.
- 2:07:25Speaker 1: There's a good chance of the email will be flagged
- 2:07:27Speaker 1: as a customer complaint.
- 2:07:28Speaker 3: Well, no, I'm replying. She sent me directly an email,
- 2:07:31Speaker 3: so I'm replying directly to her, so it won't be fled,
- 2:07:33Speaker 3: I mean flagged whatever. Who cares and it is a
- 2:07:36Speaker 3: complaint because they're not providing service that the other bank
- 2:07:38Speaker 3: can do easily.
- 2:07:39Speaker 1: Now, there's got to be some kind of you know,
- 2:07:41Speaker 1: the surveillance, I would say, like on email, because there's
- 2:07:44Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. There's a lot of stuff I got.
- 2:07:46Speaker 1: I got another friend who works for a big bank too,
- 2:07:48Speaker 1: so much compliance stuff. Sure, so I'm sure they have
- 2:07:51Speaker 1: things that are set up that are monitoring the emails
- 2:07:53Speaker 1: coming in or going out to make sure that there's
- 2:07:55Speaker 1: nothing so they can jump on it ahead of time,
- 2:07:58Speaker 1: like you could like a parental control, right, you know,
- 2:08:01Speaker 1: so certain things to get flagged, or certain comments or
- 2:08:03Speaker 1: certain things to get flagged so they can deal with
- 2:08:04Speaker 1: it up front.
- 2:08:05Speaker 7: Right.
- 2:08:05Speaker 3: I think I think flag means that they have a procedure.
- 2:08:07Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't think it's going to get put
- 2:08:09Speaker 3: to spam because again I'm directly replying to hurrying out
- 2:08:11Speaker 3: to me.
- 2:08:11Speaker 1: Yeah all right, well good luck with that, Sea Bass.
- 2:08:15Speaker 1: I'm already moved on in your business venture.
- 2:08:17Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but it's not an ahole move to send
- 2:08:19Speaker 2: that thank it's actually helpful.
- 2:08:21Speaker 4: It should be should be seen. Can I see Greg
- 2:08:23Speaker 4: doing this absolutely? On every little things. You should get
- 2:08:27Speaker 4: the world to be a better place, and you shouldn't
- 2:08:29Speaker 4: have procedures that are pointless and bureaucratic. And when you
- 2:08:33Speaker 4: find out that it loses your business, right, and it
- 2:08:35Speaker 4: could be easier, as this other bank proved it is,
- 2:08:39Speaker 4: let them know, like what's wrong with wanting a better world?
- 2:08:43Speaker 4: Email delightfully and refreshingly professional? And what's aggressive?
- 2:08:49Speaker 1: Yeah? I like the professional use of y'all. Y'all's finds,
- 2:08:57Speaker 1: y'all will welcome back everybody?
- 2:09:06Speaker 14: All right?
- 2:09:07Speaker 1: So, uh, we got seabastest thing all sorted out. I
- 2:09:11Speaker 1: have a you make the call? What I knew of that?
- 2:09:18Speaker 1: Got it?
- 2:09:20Speaker 4: So she wants to know is she the a hole?
- 2:09:24Speaker 4: And I feel like Gina has done this before?
- 2:09:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:09:30Speaker 4: Interesting, I seem to remember you telling a story I
- 2:09:33Speaker 4: was being like, am I being shocked?
- 2:09:36Speaker 7: Like?
- 2:09:37Speaker 1: Really? All right? So this woman was on a flight
- 2:09:40Speaker 1: and there was another woman with her and her baby
- 2:09:43Speaker 1: sitting close by. Now, the baby had been crying for
- 2:09:46Speaker 1: over an hour straight with the mom looking overwhelmed. So
- 2:09:50Speaker 1: the woman gets up asks the mom if she wants
- 2:09:53Speaker 1: her to sit with the baby while she takes a
- 2:09:56Speaker 1: breather you know, okay? Yes, So, according to to her,
- 2:10:00Speaker 1: the mom freaks out at her and said that she
- 2:10:03Speaker 1: knows what she's doing and that no good mom would
- 2:10:06Speaker 1: allow a stranger to hold her baby, which I would
- 2:10:09Speaker 1: never think to ask to hold her some other random
- 2:10:13Speaker 1: stranger's kid or interact with other.
- 2:10:16Speaker 4: Persons just trying to be a girl's girl. Help her out.
- 2:10:18Speaker 1: Okay, So the woman says that she understands the reaction,
- 2:10:21Speaker 1: but she's asking if it's creepy of her to offer,
- 2:10:24Speaker 1: or you know, she's overthinking the whole thing. So again,
- 2:10:27Speaker 1: Gina has like walked up and down the aisle with
- 2:10:30Speaker 1: other people's kids on a plane and they were like
- 2:10:32Speaker 1: gladly like here, oh my god, that's where am I
- 2:10:34Speaker 1: going to go? And as a parent, and as a parent,
- 2:10:37Speaker 1: the other person's right too, like I would never I
- 2:10:39Speaker 1: would never let this stranger.
- 2:10:41Speaker 2: You'd never take her up on that offer I hold
- 2:10:44Speaker 2: the baby or to go take her wheel man? What
- 2:10:48Speaker 2: if she's the flu or something like you don't know
- 2:10:51Speaker 2: the screen baby?
- 2:10:52Speaker 4: Do you want me to walk her up? And oh
- 2:10:54Speaker 4: my god, that is so nice.
- 2:10:55Speaker 1: Looking at the comments, most people sided with her, saying
- 2:10:58Speaker 1: that she did the right thing.
- 2:10:59Speaker 4: Yea, is it weird? Wait that the one who said
- 2:11:01Speaker 4: no did the right thing?
- 2:11:02Speaker 1: No, that the woman offers, yeah, it's.
- 2:11:05Speaker 4: It's a perfectly nice offer, especially on a plane where
- 2:11:10Speaker 4: you're not going to like run to your car.
- 2:11:12Speaker 1: With a baby. Well, no, I'm saying, I understand if
- 2:11:15Speaker 1: you are making silly faces at the kid and trying
- 2:11:18Speaker 1: to entertain it. But while it's sitting with its own parent.
- 2:11:21Speaker 4: But like the mom, you can just tell like they're
- 2:11:24Speaker 4: they're not getting anywhere and they've had it. You're like,
- 2:11:25Speaker 4: you want their kid.
- 2:11:28Speaker 1: I don't.
- 2:11:28Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not worried about child abduction.
- 2:11:30Speaker 1: No where they're gonna go. You're right, I don't like
- 2:11:32Speaker 1: the try hardness of the person doing it that.
- 2:11:34Speaker 4: But is it try hard when like, first of all,
- 2:11:37Speaker 4: everybody benefits from this because if the kid stops.
- 2:11:40Speaker 1: Crying, oh see, there you go, it's the common good.
- 2:11:42Speaker 4: Greg gets It felt like I'm dying to hold a baby.
- 2:11:45Speaker 2: I would it work for a crying baby to not
- 2:11:48Speaker 2: be walked up and down the all by the mom,
- 2:11:50Speaker 2: But it would work if you're.
- 2:11:51Speaker 1: A great question, are you sure about that?
- 2:11:54Speaker 4: Because I've done it, and I'm not saying I'm magical.
- 2:11:56Speaker 4: I'm saying I offered. She said, oh my god, they'd
- 2:11:59Speaker 4: be great. And I'm bouncing around and I'm walking, I'm
- 2:12:02Speaker 4: making funny faces and it was stopped crying.
- 2:12:04Speaker 1: It's not like absolutely, but I find it strange. Yes,
- 2:12:10Speaker 1: let me hold your kid. And I've never claimed to
- 2:12:14Speaker 1: be made movies about kids going missing on planes?
- 2:12:17Speaker 4: What kind of movie snakes?
- 2:12:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I was Jodie Foster or something like that.
- 2:12:22Speaker 4: Yeah, plane, Yeah, how does one go missing on a plane?
- 2:12:27Speaker 1: Well, we don't want the movie.
- 2:12:30Speaker 4: Yep, have you been on a plane? Flight plan?
- 2:12:33Speaker 1: And to text? Somebody says, I think most women would say,
- 2:12:36Speaker 1: it's okay. Yeah, well that's I'm asking. So on the
- 2:12:38Speaker 1: text over to two two nine eighty seven, is it
- 2:12:41Speaker 1: weird or is it fine?
- 2:12:43Speaker 8: I think it's fine, especially if it was a really
- 2:12:45Speaker 8: just like what if it was a sweet like grandma lady?
- 2:12:47Speaker 5: Would you think that was weird?
- 2:12:48Speaker 8: If Grandma wanted to hold your maid?
- 2:12:50Speaker 1: Like, yeah, the person is like a legit psychopath.
- 2:12:53Speaker 16: It's on.
- 2:12:54Speaker 1: But you guys are on medication.
- 2:12:56Speaker 4: You guys are always giving sammy crap about oh god.
- 2:12:59Speaker 1: You're gonna be abductor o god, something's gonna go.
- 2:13:01Speaker 4: Terribly wrong, like it's not a bad abduction or whatever
- 2:13:03Speaker 4: it is.
- 2:13:03Speaker 1: They're creepy. They're being weird, right, see me, they're creepy.
- 2:13:06Speaker 4: It's weird creepy, which I agree.
- 2:13:08Speaker 6: I don't think this is creepy because I think you
- 2:13:10Speaker 6: can't evaluate a person and see if they're nuts.
- 2:13:17Speaker 1: It is not so if it was a.
- 2:13:19Speaker 2: Single father and his baby and another man came up
- 2:13:22Speaker 2: to him and said, hey.
- 2:13:22Speaker 1: Do you want me to walk your kids? Should that'd
- 2:13:24Speaker 1: be creepy? Check your baby? Great twist greg.
- 2:13:26Speaker 9: Ye.
- 2:13:29Speaker 1: What if I was the one to offer, do you
- 2:13:32Speaker 1: look creepy? I think you're holding a baby it's crying.
- 2:13:35Speaker 1: I offer like, hey, you want me to walk the
- 2:13:37Speaker 1: kid up and down the aisle and want me to
- 2:13:38Speaker 1: hold that baby? You want me to hold your baby?
- 2:13:41Speaker 8: One, it depends on how desperate I am.
- 2:13:43Speaker 4: Yeah, and two yeah, maybe not.
- 2:13:46Speaker 6: But older people, like if it was an older grandpa,
- 2:13:48Speaker 6: I would be like, sure, I don't know what it
- 2:13:49Speaker 6: is about older people like trust.
- 2:13:52Speaker 4: So the answer is if a woman or an old man,
- 2:13:55Speaker 4: then it's fine, Like it's not gonna be an issue.
- 2:13:58Speaker 6: And if I'm that desperate and I feel like the
- 2:14:00Speaker 6: whole plane is looking at me or I'm disrupting people,
- 2:14:04Speaker 6: at that point, you're like, whatever will help everybody on
- 2:14:06Speaker 6: this plane, I'm willing to try.
- 2:14:08Speaker 1: Uh not creepy, super helpful. I've been on both sides
- 2:14:11Speaker 1: of this. Really never heard of it until Gina brought
- 2:14:14Speaker 1: it up as an exhausted mom who needed someone to offer.
- 2:14:19Speaker 1: I think that it's a great offer, but equally good
- 2:14:21Speaker 1: to be cautious and declined. Just somebody could be on
- 2:14:24Speaker 1: zenagg It's fine, I'm perfect. It's perfect, team Gina. It's
- 2:14:28Speaker 1: something I would offer to do, but not something I
- 2:14:30Speaker 1: would ever let someone do for me. That's interesting.
- 2:14:32Speaker 4: See, I get that too.
- 2:14:34Speaker 1: I think it's weird. Yeah, I don't want that half
- 2:14:36Speaker 1: the time. Man, I don't want to make eye contact
- 2:14:39Speaker 1: or be you know, looking in the same direction as
- 2:14:41Speaker 1: someone's kids because well, and that's the thing.
- 2:14:43Speaker 4: I wear headphones that aren't even plugged into anything, just
- 2:14:46Speaker 4: as a symbol of don't talk to me. But if
- 2:14:49Speaker 4: i'm if I'm in the mood and I'm near the baby,
- 2:14:51Speaker 4: and if the woman seems like she needs help, I'm
- 2:14:53Speaker 4: happy to help.
- 2:14:54Speaker 1: Nah.
- 2:14:54Speaker 4: Well, I get that you're not.
- 2:14:57Speaker 6: And asked to hold a baby, but we hold it
- 2:14:59Speaker 6: a nap getting back and forth to a kid that
- 2:15:01Speaker 6: was crying, who thought it was the funnest, greatest thing ever.
- 2:15:03Speaker 6: And we passed a napkin back and forth for forty
- 2:15:06Speaker 6: five minutes because it was the only thing that kept
- 2:15:07Speaker 6: the kid from crying.
- 2:15:09Speaker 1: We're just better, absolutely fine to offer. I wouldn't want
- 2:15:13Speaker 1: to let someone hold my baby, But if I was
- 2:15:15Speaker 1: desperate on a plane, maybe I would absolutely appreciate an
- 2:15:18Speaker 1: offer and would offer for others. Having taught elementary school,
- 2:15:23Speaker 1: I think the offer to hold the baby is a
- 2:15:24Speaker 1: good thing. As a man, I wouldn't make the offer. No,
- 2:15:27Speaker 1: that I get.
- 2:15:28Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think this all goes back to don't
- 2:15:30Speaker 4: bring babies on planes and it's not an issue. Yeah,
- 2:15:32Speaker 4: then we wouldn't even have to happen, you know.
- 2:15:34Speaker 1: Like, hey, yeah, what if obviously you're not running away
- 2:15:37Speaker 1: with the baby, but like what if the person goes, oh,
- 2:15:40Speaker 1: they hurt my baby? Like I didn't even touch your kid.
- 2:15:45Speaker 4: So like last time I was at the airport, there
- 2:15:48Speaker 4: was a mom with two babies, holding two babies when
- 2:15:52Speaker 4: and a kid like grabbing at her leg and like
- 2:15:54Speaker 4: all this stuff. The dad's standing right there on his
- 2:15:56Speaker 4: phone scrolling, and the mom's shoe was untied. And I'm
- 2:16:00Speaker 4: sitting there watching this and I look at the dad
- 2:16:02Speaker 4: who's completely oblivious, and I look at her. I go,
- 2:16:05Speaker 4: can I do your favorite? Can I tell your shoe?
- 2:16:06Speaker 4: Oh my god, that would be amazing. So like it
- 2:16:08Speaker 4: doesn't it doesn't make me feel creepy to like help
- 2:16:11Speaker 4: a woman out who seems like she needs help.
- 2:16:14Speaker 1: Those babies don't need to be going anywhere anyway back
- 2:16:18Speaker 1: to that, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, nine
- 2:16:21Speaker 1: or nine. Don't bring babies on planes. Yeah, grandparents are
- 2:16:26Speaker 1: pretty much probably retired. They can come to you. Yeah,
- 2:16:29Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four. Yeah, the boys are going
- 2:16:31Speaker 1: worst case scenario. Reality is way less insidious. Yeah. Look,
- 2:16:34Speaker 1: I'm nobody. Check out Jordan. He's getting some ice out
- 2:16:38Speaker 1: of some kids shorts, and now he's allegedly grabbing the.
- 2:16:42Speaker 4: There's but this video of Michael Jordan like touching the
- 2:16:44Speaker 4: kid's blood, but he's not doing that.
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, I did see that. Jeff g said
- 2:16:48Speaker 1: that to me. He goes, man, what the hell is
- 2:16:49Speaker 1: going on here? Everyone's like, oh, look, he's grabbing that
- 2:16:51Speaker 1: kid's but he's like what, he's getting ice out of
- 2:16:53Speaker 1: the kids, but the goat's trying to get a piece.
- 2:16:56Speaker 1: Give him a break, guys, God, it's Michael Jordan can
- 2:16:58Speaker 1: do what he wants.
- 2:16:59Speaker 4: He just won. Yeah.
