  Speaker 1: was talking with my wife and she said something her

  Speaker 1: father always used to tell her, just because you can

  Speaker 1: do something don't mean you should do it. I can't

  Speaker 1: tell you how many times I've had to learn that

  Speaker 1: in my life. You know, just because you can do

  Speaker 1: something does not necessarily mean you should do it. I

  Speaker 1: could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean I

  Speaker 1: should do it. I could go here and set the

  Speaker 1: record straight a lot of times, but it don't mean
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot in
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: that lesson, folks, and because I have a relationship with

  Speaker 1: my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me to
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: learn even more how to stay still on a lot
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the hard way.

  Speaker 1: I do want you to understand that that sometimes it's

  Speaker 1: better to be still. Sometimes it's better to just let
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: God handle the situation now. And I know it's hard
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: to say because we think as people, but if I

  Speaker 1: do this, I would feel better. If I do this now,

  Speaker 1: they'll feel how I feel. See, but that's not always

  Speaker 1: the best way though, I found in my life. Sometimes

  Speaker 1: you gotta like old people used to say, you gotta

  Speaker 1: let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,

  Speaker 1: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when

  Speaker 1: she was when I was young, I thought she was
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: just an old person just talking to me. I didn't

  Speaker 1: get it. You know how your parents used to talk
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: to you and you didn't get it, And they used

  Speaker 1: to always say, well, wait till you have your own kids,

  Speaker 1: you'll get it then, And sure enough you got it. Then. Well,

  Speaker 1: I'm the same way. I'm no different you know. I

  Speaker 1: don't have no different life than you. You. I don't
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: have no different upbringing in you. I don't have no
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: different ways that I can live and you can't. You know,

  Speaker 1: I gotta live by the same laws of the land

  Speaker 1: that you gotta live by. I gotta obey the principles

  Speaker 1: of success. If I want to be successful, I gotta

  Speaker 1: bam And you know, if I want to go to heaven,

  Speaker 1: I gotta do what God tell me to do as

  Speaker 1: many times as I can. Now, you ain't gonna get

  Speaker 1: it all right. But he understand that and I just

  Speaker 1: get on with the best I can. But so many times, man,

  Speaker 1: we get stuck right there, man, worrying about you know,

  Speaker 1: how it's gonna come across and what you know, you know,

  Speaker 1: kind of going around here because I'm trying to find

  Speaker 1: a way to tell you this that you won't get twisted.

  Speaker 1: The bottom line, you gotta let go and let God.

  Speaker 1: You have to allow him to do it his way. See,

  Speaker 1: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,

  Speaker 1: I had to let God have it. I found out

  Speaker 1: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out

  Speaker 1: I wouldn't all that good of a explore with a map.

  Speaker 1: So I had to let go. I had to let God.

  Speaker 1: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious way.

  Speaker 1: How often had I thought it was over for me?

  Speaker 1: But what God was doing was he was teaching me

  Speaker 1: a lesson. He was showing me something that I needed

  Speaker 1: to know. He was allowing me to experience some things.

  Speaker 1: But he didn't let me go under. You know how
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: they say God and never put more on you than
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: you can bear. He won't let you go under. You know,
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: it's like the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: I was going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man,
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: it was really really man trying to destroy what I
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: had worked for in my family, and it this new
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: life that God had presented me. And the devil is busy.
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: The devil don't like to see you happy. So here
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: he comes. He puts you under attack, and he comes
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: in and that and everything, and my kids are suffering,
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: but you know, here comes God. Though, see God don't
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: put more on you than you can bear. And Bishop
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: Olma sent me a scripture. He sent me Isaiah forty
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: three one and two. And then that scripture it says
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: to the effect that you can walk through the water
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: the rivers, and the water won't overcome you. But then
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: it said you can walk through the fire and you
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: will not get burned, nor will kindling set upon your clothing.

  Speaker 1: I learned something very valuable that day. See God sent
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: me through something, but he was showing me something too.
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring that calamity
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: into my life because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen it
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: says clearly that if anyone comes against you, it will
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: not be my doing. Now this is what he promised
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: you when people come for you thought see, And this
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: is what I learned. That's why I have no fear

  Speaker 1: of the people coming anymore because I learned that. But

  Speaker 1: God had to send me through a traumatic experience in

  Speaker 1: order for me to learn that. You can't have a

  Speaker 1: testimony without a test you know what I'm saying. You

  Speaker 1: can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he did

  Speaker 1: was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed into
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: my life. But he taught me something and Isaiah forty
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: three to one and two was and you can walk
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: through the fire and not get burned, nor what kindling
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: set upon your clothing. So what that said to me was,

  Speaker 1: even though you're trying to do me and it's fire

  Speaker 1: all around me, I won't burn, But when it's over,

  Speaker 1: kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me

  Speaker 1: was not only would I walk through the fire and

  Speaker 1: not get burned, but there will be no signs that

  Speaker 1: I was ever in the fire. There's no signs of it.

  Speaker 1: But not hold up though now here go to park.

  Speaker 1: Though that I had to learn even though you can

  Speaker 1: walk through the fire, y'all, and even though you're being

  Speaker 1: flames and scorching all around you. If you trust him,

  Speaker 1: he ain't gonna let you burn. But now hear what

  Speaker 1: he did not say. Though, he did not say that

  Speaker 1: it was not going to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot

  Speaker 1: in there. He ain't say that. He just said you

  Speaker 1: won't burn, and when it's over, it won't be no

  Speaker 1: signs that you was in the fire. See what happened

  Speaker 1: to me was after they tried to destroy me. Let

  Speaker 1: me show you what God did for me. Not only

  Speaker 1: did they not accomplish what they set out to do,

  Speaker 1: but when it was through with me though, when they

  Speaker 1: was through throwing the gas, throwing the fine, throwing the

  Speaker 1: hate and writing it and lining and creating all these

  Speaker 1: names for themselves so it could look like most people

  Speaker 1: is hating when they got through it all that man,

  Speaker 1: look what he did to me. Look what he did

  Speaker 1: for me, because he taught me something that day, And

  Speaker 1: I'm sharing it with you because God will do the

  Speaker 1: same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though,

  Speaker 1: You got to get in there and you got to

  Speaker 1: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it.

  Speaker 1: So just like pop Bridge is taught my wife Marjorie

  Speaker 1: just because you can do something, don't mean y'all to

  Speaker 1: do something. Yeah, you could go down there and straighten

  Speaker 1: them out, but should you though? Yeah, you can go

  Speaker 1: down there and tell them all. Yeah, you can go

  Speaker 1: down stand up and make sure they know it's your voice,

  Speaker 1: not saying don't go out there, but you gotta watch

  Speaker 1: who you go out there with. But you can go

  Speaker 1: down there with peace in your heart. I decide I'm

  Speaker 1: here doing. So See, sometimes, man, you gotta let go,

  Speaker 1: and you gotta let God. You gotta let God have

  Speaker 1: situations sometimes, and you get in there and do the

  Speaker 1: things that he tell you to do. See bish Bowman

  Speaker 1: and taught me a lot. He had another book out

  Speaker 1: and he said, uh, you know, knowing God's Voice or
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: something like that. I'm not sure the title, but I
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: never really knew the definition of how do you know
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: it's God's voice talking to you? Well, he clearly made
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: a statement. God's voice has no sining in it. Whenever
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: you're talking about I'm gonna go, I'm gonna show him,
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him back. If it's sining in it,
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: God ain't in it. See that's you now. God's voice
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: has no sining in it. So when you say God
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: told me, be careful, because God ain't never told you
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what he told you.

  Speaker 1: And I learned that too. It's a lot, so I'm
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: just sharing today. I hope it helps somebody today get
