- 0:02Speaker 1: power of legacy, building something that lasts for generations. That's

- 1:09Speaker 4: to get real.

- 1:13Speaker 3: like conc.

- 2:22Speaker 4: That I pushed my button to just listen.
- 2:33Speaker 3: You know when they say you need an energy drink, Yes,

- 3:14Speaker 4: the crew.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:15Speaker 4: But before we get with him, deliate how you feelings.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Oh man, I am.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Grateful, man, Like just grateful, grateful for another day, Grateful
- 3:26Speaker 3: to be here, grateful to be chosen, grateful to be
- 3:29Speaker 3: your daughter, Grateful to just be breathing.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, grateful. Listen.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I think today has been even starting with this song
- 3:38Speaker 3: that was just so for me, that was so perfeted,
- 3:40Speaker 3: because like, we have to remember what they were in
- 3:43Speaker 3: we oh my guys, we have to remember the day
- 3:45Speaker 3: that we're in, the day that the Lord already made.
- 3:48Speaker 3: So why shouldn't we rejoice and be glad in it?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Because He already made it happen. He already He literally
- 3:53Speaker 3: already made it happen for us.
- 3:55Speaker 4: So grateful is a great word. Grateful.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Grateful, that's another. But we're gonna get into it. We
- 4:01Speaker 3: gonna stick with this other day. Okay, listen to you, guys.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna do this community highlight again because this is
- 4:09Speaker 3: a special episode.
- 4:11Speaker 4: I love.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I one thing I love about being at BGTV is
- 4:15Speaker 3: that we we are a community of Kingdom leaders that
- 4:20Speaker 3: have decided to use the tool of podcasts and to
- 4:23Speaker 3: get the word out to the nations.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Right and I want to send a special shout out to.
- 4:34Speaker 3: To this platform for being a not only a safe
- 4:38Speaker 3: space for creatives, but people that never thought that they
- 4:43Speaker 3: would be able to do something like this before they transition, right,
- 4:48Speaker 3: And so we haven't gotten an opportunity to honor this woman,
- 4:52Speaker 3: but I would like to honor Miss love Lady, Brenda
- 4:57Speaker 3: Lovelady of the Love Lady Center. If y'all know who
- 5:02Speaker 3: If y'all don't know who she is, she was a
- 5:05Speaker 3: powerful woman of God and me personally. When I turned thirty,
- 5:09Speaker 3: I got the opportunity to partner with them to and
- 5:13Speaker 3: donate over ten thousand dollars to the Love Lady Senator
- 5:17Speaker 3: because God placed it on my heart. And now that
- 5:20Speaker 3: she has transitioned, the Lord was like, I wanted you
- 5:24Speaker 3: to meet her legacy. I wanted your legacy to meet
- 5:27Speaker 3: her legacy. And because she did so many great things.
- 5:30Speaker 3: She believed in giving women's second chances. She believed in
- 5:34Speaker 3: helping them develop mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and she
- 5:39Speaker 3: did it. Watched this, y'all. She started that ministry in
- 5:42Speaker 3: her fifties. Come on, like that tells me that she
- 5:45Speaker 3: leaned on God and she did not allow any obstacles
- 5:49Speaker 3: in her life to keep her from living out her purpose.
- 5:52Speaker 3: And so to the Love Lady Sinner, to BGTV, thank
- 5:56Speaker 3: you so much for just enhancing and going forward her legacy.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Because listen, she w was, she was it. I don't
- 6:04Speaker 3: know if you know you need to google little bit
- 6:05Speaker 3: because she she was it. But she did get to
- 6:07Speaker 3: have a podcast before she transitioned. She didn't have a
- 6:10Speaker 3: podcast on the platform, and if you haven't seen it,
- 6:12Speaker 3: you should definitely look at BGTV network.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Y'all already know it's in the description.
- 6:16Speaker 3: So we just want to honor miss Brenda love Lady
- 6:20Speaker 3: for her amazing.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Life and what she left on this earth. Y'all give
- 6:24Speaker 4: it up as a miss love Lady, all right, you guys.
- 6:28Speaker 4: So speaking of BGTV Buco, that was me bucking up
- 6:38Speaker 4: my listen, y'all. Today we have our family member and
- 6:47Speaker 4: he's on the network.
- 6:48Speaker 3: He and his wife have a podcast and it's based
- 6:53Speaker 3: on healing and deliverance. And y'all know that's a special
- 6:56Speaker 3: place in my heart with when we talk about healing,
- 6:59Speaker 3: because this is a safe space for for that right
- 7:02Speaker 3: and we we overcome by the word of the testimony
- 7:05Speaker 3: here on just as the podcast and so y'all see
- 7:08Speaker 3: the name. Y'all see the name, So shout out to
- 7:10Speaker 3: everybody that's come to see past the pastor Mark Matching. Yes, okay,
- 7:16Speaker 3: his name is Mark Matching, not Macing like I said.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Earlier, but I heard. Let me tell y'all this real quick.
- 7:24Speaker 3: The reason why I have him on this podcast of
- 7:26Speaker 3: today is because he blessed me so well. You know,
- 7:30Speaker 3: I don't know if y'all ever had those experiences where
- 7:33Speaker 3: you meet somebody one time and they just kind of
- 7:35Speaker 3: shift you, like something shakes, something breaks in you. Just
- 7:39Speaker 3: their their their presence alone just kind of like change
- 7:42Speaker 3: the dynamic and kind of sits you, resenters you right
- 7:46Speaker 3: and puts you back in place.
- 7:47Speaker 4: That's what you did for me.
- 7:49Speaker 3: And we were we were at a gathering for the
- 7:53Speaker 3: network and Brad allowed doctor, I mean doctor, well, I
- 7:58Speaker 3: don't know if you plan on being a doctor with
- 7:59Speaker 3: past Mark pastor Mark to speak that day, and he
- 8:03Speaker 3: spoke so freely. He spoke so freely in baby, that's
- 8:08Speaker 3: what we're lacking in the community is freedom. And listen,
- 8:11Speaker 3: I'm excited to learn what that looks like. We're gonna
- 8:14Speaker 3: talk about everything that he got has coming up but really,
- 8:17Speaker 3: we're gonna let Holy Spirit wrong with this conversation. So
- 8:19Speaker 3: I introduced some and present to others, Pastor Mark matching,
- 8:27Speaker 3: how are you today?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Doing well?
- 8:30Speaker 3: Been praying, teaching, getting all the questions answer? And now
- 8:35Speaker 3: you don't just ask I might need to get that
- 8:37Speaker 3: box of tissue. What you think just go bring go
- 8:40Speaker 3: ahead and bring the clinics over here, because I don't know,
- 8:43Speaker 3: I don't I don't know what's about to happen. I
- 8:46Speaker 3: don't know what's about to happen. One of the things
- 8:49Speaker 3: that we start off with just saying, Okay, I know
- 8:51Speaker 3: I asked you how you're doing right? But Pastor Mark,
- 8:56Speaker 3: how is Pastor Mark in this season? What does this
- 8:59Speaker 3: season look like for you?
- 9:01Speaker 2: Uh, well, it's a it's a very busy season. So
- 9:04Speaker 2: thank God for that. Yeah, and uh, you know, the
- 9:07Speaker 2: Lord gave gave us a word at the beginning of
- 9:09Speaker 2: the year that this would be our most fruitful year
- 9:11Speaker 2: yet and we're already seeing it. It has just been
- 9:15Speaker 2: amazing to watch. So you know, what does that look
- 9:19Speaker 2: like practically, Well, you know, we'll we'll talk about it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: We've got a major conference coming up at our church,
- 9:25Speaker 2: our church in Birmingham, Alabama's Life of Faith Church, and
- 9:29Speaker 2: we're doing a Forever Healed conference, which is an extension
- 9:32Speaker 2: of our other ministry called Forever Free, which we can
- 9:34Speaker 2: talk about that, but that conference, Uh, we're we're almost
- 9:40Speaker 2: to the limit of registrations and hotels are booking up
- 9:45Speaker 2: because Forever Healed. We've got Todd White, Chi Gonzalez, some
- 9:50Speaker 2: other major ministers just in the area of healing, and
- 9:54Speaker 2: people are finding out about it and and so we're
- 9:57Speaker 2: renovating the church in the process. I've been traveling like crazy, ye,
- 10:02Speaker 2: just ministering at Bible colleges, other churches and things like that.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Plus we're doing the podcast and all that. So there's
- 10:07Speaker 2: a lot that's going on. But man, it is fruitful.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And so maybe a little further into it, I tell
- 10:13Speaker 2: you something that the Lord really did special in February
- 10:16Speaker 2: with a meeting something that had been on my heart
- 10:18Speaker 2: for two years, called it Forever Free Encounter, and woo
- 10:23Speaker 2: what happened.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Well, I'm on this platform.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Is we hear that you might say just as but
- 10:29Speaker 3: I feel like you can say whatever you want to say,
- 10:32Speaker 3: Pastor Mark, and I love it. No, we can go
- 10:34Speaker 3: ahead and get to the conference, because I think that's important.
- 10:36Speaker 3: That's another reason why I wanted you to do. I'm
- 10:38Speaker 3: gona make it very clear, DESI right, and I gonna
- 10:40Speaker 3: be there my whole team, like just as the podcast see.
- 10:43Speaker 4: We're going to be there.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I've invited my friends, I've invited my some family members
- 10:48Speaker 3: because for one, forever Free conference is free. Yes, Like,
- 10:53Speaker 3: what what did the Lord tell you to make that
- 10:55Speaker 3: opportunity free for people? Or how how did that come about? Well,
- 10:59Speaker 3: only conferences have price.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it comes from just a very core conviction for me. Okay,
- 11:07Speaker 2: So so to kind of back up a little bit
- 11:09Speaker 2: with forever free, what does that mean? What is it
- 11:11Speaker 2: that we do? It really comes down to it's our testimony.
- 11:15Speaker 2: But it's what the Lord showed us. When I was
- 11:17Speaker 2: forty two years of age, I personally had struggled with
- 11:21Speaker 2: with lust and pornography for about twenty five to thirty
- 11:24Speaker 2: years while while I'm going to church, while I'm helping
- 11:27Speaker 2: at church, and tried everything that I could to get free.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And you know, you can't talk about that in church,
- 11:34Speaker 2: particularly eighties, nineties, early two thousands. Only now is people
- 11:37Speaker 2: even starting to talk about it a little bit more, right, So,
- 11:41Speaker 2: we hide things in church, you know, nobody knew. And
- 11:45Speaker 2: my wife was dealing with anger, depression, rage, all kinds
- 11:49Speaker 2: of stuff, and so so we were perfect Christians in church,
- 11:55Speaker 2: but behind the scenes something different. And you know, Jesus said,
- 11:59Speaker 2: he who the Son makes free, is free indeed, and
- 12:02Speaker 2: he's talking about sin. He came to actually make us
- 12:05Speaker 2: free from that. But you know, my my problem with
- 12:08Speaker 2: all of that is if Jesus came to do that
- 12:11Speaker 2: and I'm really not free, like we talk free, but
- 12:14Speaker 2: we're really not free, where's the disconnect? Yeah, that just means,
- 12:18Speaker 2: you know, to me, Jesus didn't do a very good job.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Now you can't do that. You can't say that and
- 12:23Speaker 2: churish that to get you kicked out. But but but
- 12:27Speaker 2: that's the truth. I mean, you know, either either this
- 12:31Speaker 2: word is true and what Jesus came to do is
- 12:36Speaker 2: absolutely right, and we should experience It's that's the thing
- 12:40Speaker 2: for me. I want to experience what he said I
- 12:43Speaker 2: should be experiencing. If he said he came to give
- 12:46Speaker 2: me life and have it more abundantly, then I should
- 12:48Speaker 2: experience that, right and and so and and and if
- 12:52Speaker 2: I'm not, the problem's not him it's probably my understanding.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It's probably something like that. So the Lord began to
- 12:59Speaker 2: actually show us in twenty eleven the truth of what
- 13:03Speaker 2: it means to be free from sin, what it means
- 13:05Speaker 2: to be dead to sin according to Romans six. And
- 13:08Speaker 2: in a moment, Jesus completely set me free. In a
- 13:13Speaker 2: moment when I applied the truth of the Word of
- 13:15Speaker 2: God and what it says, I literally felt something fall
- 13:20Speaker 2: off of me, from the top of my head to
- 13:21Speaker 2: the soul of my feet, I mean. And I wasn't
- 13:23Speaker 2: ready for I didn't know that's what was about to happen.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I was just accepting what the Word said to be true,
- 13:30Speaker 2: and in a moment, I was delivered from a twenty
- 13:32Speaker 2: five thirty year addiction.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Was it a private moment or a public That was
- 13:36Speaker 4: a private.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Moment, That was me just privately the Holy Spirit showing
- 13:40Speaker 2: me things in the Word that I began to say.
- 13:42Speaker 2: You know what, I don't I've never heard anybody talk
- 13:44Speaker 2: this way, but I'm seeing it in scripture, and so
- 13:48Speaker 2: I'm just going to go ahead and just kind of
- 13:49Speaker 2: go for it, because guess what, religion hadn't helped me anyway.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I've been I've just been real, Now be real you can.
- 13:57Speaker 2: So that's the way, that's where it was for us.
- 14:00Speaker 2: My wife took the same principles in over six month period.
- 14:03Speaker 2: God completely transformed her, completely delivered her from anger, rage, depression.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And that's twenty eleven. So you know, I was at
- 14:12Speaker 2: fourteen years ago, and we haven't regressed, we haven't taken
- 14:16Speaker 2: a step back. It's literally been this movement from glory
- 14:19Speaker 2: to glory to glory praise God. So so out of that,
- 14:23Speaker 2: in twenty nineteen, we started teaching it to the church.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I developed a course called Forever Free, right, you know,
- 14:30Speaker 2: not just mostly free, sometimes free. I'm like, it's got
- 14:35Speaker 2: to be forever and so and then and then what
- 14:39Speaker 2: we did is last year, in twenty twenty four, we
- 14:42Speaker 2: launched the platform publicly for others. We'd been teaching on
- 14:45Speaker 2: our church, seeing the testimonies, watching people get free, and
- 14:49Speaker 2: and God just kind of thrust us on the scene.
- 14:52Speaker 2: We developed the platform Foreverfree dot org also an app
- 14:56Speaker 2: you can download for your you know, for your phone
- 14:59Speaker 2: and it and it's thirty lessons. People can go through
- 15:02Speaker 2: it for free, doesn't cost anything. Thirty lessons thirty minutes each,
- 15:07Speaker 2: Like you can literally we say, look, you can be
- 15:08Speaker 2: free in thirty days, and the tagline on our websites
- 15:12Speaker 2: goodbye sin and hello freedom and it's real and so
- 15:19Speaker 2: so why do we do everything for free? Look, here's
- 15:21Speaker 2: here's the very strong conviction I personally have. Now, if
- 15:24Speaker 2: somebody else charges, that's between them the Lord. But in
- 15:28Speaker 2: Matthew chapter ten, when Jesus sent the disciples out, he
- 15:32Speaker 2: said this, He said, freely, you have received, freely give.
- 15:37Speaker 2: They said, don't even take, don't take money with you,
- 15:39Speaker 2: don't take a collection box with you, don't take He said,
- 15:43Speaker 2: you've already received it. So Jesus didn't make a charge
- 15:47Speaker 2: for the gospel, you know, as people you know were coming.
- 15:52Speaker 2: You know, he didn't say, hey, I need you, you know,
- 15:55Speaker 2: I want to charge a fee so we can buy
- 15:58Speaker 2: enough food for the five thousand. Yeah, No, he was
- 16:01Speaker 2: just he was just there making it available. And you
- 16:04Speaker 2: know that's an indicator or it's a what's the word
- 16:09Speaker 2: I'm looking for. It's really a characteristic of the grace
- 16:11Speaker 2: of God. Because everything that God's given us, he's given
- 16:16Speaker 2: to us freely. He's redeemed us freely, he's given us
- 16:20Speaker 2: righteousness freely. He's given us all of these things to
- 16:23Speaker 2: us for free, and we are an extension of Him.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And so for me, every time that I can, when
- 16:30Speaker 2: it comes to the gospel, I don't want there to
- 16:32Speaker 2: be a barrier to people receiving the gospel, and so,
- 16:37Speaker 2: you know, so for me, it's a natural decision to
- 16:41Speaker 2: make that conference available for free. And so when people come,
- 16:44Speaker 2: we'll take up an offering for people that want to
- 16:47Speaker 2: want to you know, support and want us to help
- 16:49Speaker 2: and help meet the budget and all of that. But
- 16:51Speaker 2: we're going to believe God and so that people can
- 16:54Speaker 2: experience real freedom. He'll take care of us.
- 16:57Speaker 4: That's so good, you say, something so powerful, we're going
- 16:59Speaker 4: to leave God.
- 17:01Speaker 3: And I think that that's probably the strain that if
- 17:05Speaker 3: we go to the down the road of ministry leaders
- 17:08Speaker 3: and have these events and opportunities even such as BGTV
- 17:14Speaker 3: to where we just take up donations here, which I
- 17:18Speaker 3: strongly you know, pushed the opportunity because that's how we
- 17:22Speaker 3: get to be able to be in this building. That's
- 17:24Speaker 3: how you keep the lights on because the end the day,
- 17:25Speaker 3: there's an administrative side that needs to be taken care of.
- 17:28Speaker 4: What do you think has interrupted the trust in being
- 17:35Speaker 4: able to trust.
- 17:36Speaker 3: God on the financial and add mein side of events
- 17:40Speaker 3: and ministry work.
- 17:47Speaker 4: He laughed. I'm very interested in this this response.
- 17:55Speaker 2: So I'm not questioning people's motives and people's hearts whoever,
- 18:00Speaker 2: you know. But the truth is is that so many people,
- 18:05Speaker 2: while they answer the call of God and they step out,
- 18:08Speaker 2: they're still dependent on people. Their trust is in people
- 18:11Speaker 2: and not in God. Okay, so we build a church,
- 18:14Speaker 2: what are we going to do. We're gonna make sure
- 18:15Speaker 2: we're telling people to pay their tithes because that's how
- 18:18Speaker 2: we fund our lifestyle, or that's how we fund the Gospel.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And the word pay your tithes isn't anywhere in the Bible.
- 18:26Speaker 3: It's about, oh, you feel you've fin a ruffle some founders,
- 18:30Speaker 3: Let me sit up, let me well, teach us.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Come on, I'm ready.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 2: So look, it's you know, the tithe, the tithe. Look,
- 18:40Speaker 2: I'm fine with tithing and all of that. It happened
- 18:42Speaker 2: before the Old Covenant under Abraham and Jacob, it happened
- 18:45Speaker 2: during the during the Old Covenant. But really it comes
- 18:48Speaker 2: from a heart of just simply honoring God. Proverbs chapter three,
- 18:52Speaker 2: verse nine, it says, honor the Lord with your substance
- 18:54Speaker 2: in the first fruits of all. Your increase. Tithing isn't
- 18:58Speaker 2: about supporting a man and a God or supporting a church,
- 19:02Speaker 2: tithing or giving. Okay, if you really want to listen,
- 19:07Speaker 2: I got a lot of ideas and a lot of
- 19:08Speaker 2: the pan you know, because most of the time people
- 19:12Speaker 2: that it's like, well I don't have to tithe. Okay,
- 19:15Speaker 2: well that's great, be that way, but if you want to,
- 19:17Speaker 2: if you want a New Testament model, most of them
- 19:19Speaker 2: gave it all. So so let's uh, I'll tell you
- 19:22Speaker 2: what I'm with you on the New Testament. Let's not
- 19:24Speaker 2: do ten percent. Let's do one hundred percent.
- 19:28Speaker 7: If you want to get real biblical.
- 19:30Speaker 2: But if you don't, let's just back.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Up for it.
- 19:32Speaker 2: It comes from the heart. You just you just honor.
- 19:35Speaker 2: And so what has to happen now, you know, and
- 19:38Speaker 2: you see it in the life of Paul, and you
- 19:40Speaker 2: see it in the life of others. Like Paul went
- 19:42Speaker 2: to one place and he became a tent maker, and
- 19:45Speaker 2: and and God blessed his business so that he could
- 19:48Speaker 2: also employ others. And with his own business, he was
- 19:51Speaker 2: able to take care of those that was with him.
- 19:54Speaker 2: And while he's still preaching the gospel day and night,
- 19:58Speaker 2: and so his trust was in God. And he even
- 20:01Speaker 2: said to others, he said, I could have taken up
- 20:03Speaker 2: an offering, he said, but I didn't want to do
- 20:06Speaker 2: that because I didn't want it to possibly you know,
- 20:09Speaker 2: you seeing an ulterior motive in my life that would
- 20:13Speaker 2: then keep you from believing the gospel. See, and so
- 20:17Speaker 2: there has to be in in, in, in, in the
- 20:22Speaker 2: people of God and the ministers of God. There has
- 20:25Speaker 2: to be this separation from it's the source of my livelihood. Okay,
- 20:33Speaker 2: because the moment that I start looking to you to
- 20:38Speaker 2: be the source of my livelihood. Now I'm going to
- 20:41Speaker 2: adjust my message to make sure that I.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Keep you Pastor Mark. Pastor Mark, you're going down a lane.
- 20:50Speaker 4: So you going down. We ain't soing we going down
- 20:53Speaker 4: this lane.
- 20:54Speaker 3: We are going Mark, I told you when I asked
- 20:57Speaker 3: you to come this because that they thing is, we're
- 21:02Speaker 3: so we get so caught up. I'm gonna telling myself,
- 21:04Speaker 3: I am guilty of the people pleasing. I am very
- 21:08Speaker 3: guilty of the people pleasing. And I've not made choices
- 21:10Speaker 3: knowing that I should make a different choice or go
- 21:14Speaker 3: moving a timely fashion of being o being God because
- 21:16Speaker 3: the people pleasing thing, like it's the fear of people
- 21:19Speaker 3: versus the fear of God. So I think that you're
- 21:22Speaker 3: saying something really good and what I need to hear
- 21:24Speaker 3: as far as almost like, okay, there has to be
- 21:27Speaker 3: a separation.
- 21:28Speaker 4: What is ministry and what is what we call business
- 21:31Speaker 4: or entrepreneurship. Are we mixing it? Are we mixing the two?
- 21:35Speaker 3: Are we trying to I believe in like honoring people
- 21:37Speaker 3: and honoring people's guilts or whatever how you decide to
- 21:39Speaker 3: do that.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Cool, But to demand that that's what I hear you say,
- 21:43Speaker 4: is suspect that might that might be that might be interested.
- 21:50Speaker 4: So I appreciate the perspective desire. You look like you
- 21:55Speaker 4: got a question. But I say, though I was gonna say,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I think it's so good. I got you just.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I think it's so good though that he's talking about this,
- 22:08Speaker 3: because I think it is, like he said, a separation,
- 22:12Speaker 3: like you either you're gonna preach the gospel or not.
- 22:17Speaker 3: And I think it's there's been a convergence of of
- 22:23Speaker 3: doing what has been done before versus like what does
- 22:26Speaker 3: the Bible say? You know what I'm saying, and if
- 22:28Speaker 3: we don't believe the word and go back to if
- 22:30Speaker 3: you're gonna believe the word or you're not gonna believe
- 22:32Speaker 3: the word, either God is gonna be he's your source
- 22:34Speaker 3: or he's not your source.
- 22:35Speaker 4: He's your provider, he's not your provider. He's your daddy,
- 22:37Speaker 4: or he not your daddy.
- 22:38Speaker 3: And I think for me, he's speaking to me now
- 22:40Speaker 3: because it's kind of the season i'm in as I'm
- 22:43Speaker 3: just sitting here listening, like really pondering, like Lord, like
- 22:46Speaker 3: I said, I trust you, but like I don't really
- 22:50Speaker 3: know if I do or not. You know, even when
- 22:52Speaker 3: I was in prayer the other morning, I was like, okay,
- 22:54Speaker 3: you know you pray the prayer. Lord, search my heart,
- 22:56Speaker 3: hold the spirit showed me if anything's in there, Da
- 22:58Speaker 3: da dah. And I was sitting there and I literally
- 23:00Speaker 3: heard him say, you're you're allowing bitterness to set up
- 23:04Speaker 3: against me because I begin to I began to resent
- 23:08Speaker 3: this path. If I'm one hundred sent honest, you know,
- 23:11Speaker 3: I begin to resent the path because it didn't look
- 23:14Speaker 3: like what I thought it was going to look like.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Only because I'm having to learn to trust him as
- 23:19Speaker 3: my provider and I'm still trying to be my own provider,
- 23:22Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. And so I'm just sitting here,
- 23:25Speaker 3: I'm thinking about this, but it's so good that you're
- 23:27Speaker 3: on this path, and I don't want you to stop.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Please don't, because I didn't know it was going here.
- 23:32Speaker 3: I didn't know it was going to you about to
- 23:33Speaker 3: say something practically.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Speaking, yeah, so practically like, for instance, the way it
- 23:36Speaker 2: worked out, you know, in our church. So in twenty sixteen,
- 23:41Speaker 2: I begin to kind of share some of these things
- 23:43Speaker 2: church had alreadyts always struggled a little bit financially, kind
- 23:46Speaker 2: of just from week to week, never extra money or
- 23:48Speaker 2: anything like that. But I begin to see these things,
- 23:51Speaker 2: you know, and started teaching things to our church like
- 23:55Speaker 2: I might as well just go for it. So so
- 23:59Speaker 2: so let's just talk about to sing, you know, about tithing. Look,
- 24:02Speaker 2: I mean again, uh, people who are generous, they don't
- 24:05Speaker 2: have an issue with tithing because that's like the minimum
- 24:08Speaker 2: for them. And so you get into generosity, you're never
- 24:12Speaker 2: questioning about whether you should or shouldn't that kind of thing.
- 24:14Speaker 2: So that's why it's not an issue for me. But
- 24:19Speaker 2: but what we've done in religion is is we're really
- 24:23Speaker 2: bad about mixing law and grace. We mix old Covenant
- 24:27Speaker 2: and New Covenant. So we take the we take old
- 24:29Speaker 2: covenant scriptures that that sound good, and we don't realize
- 24:33Speaker 2: that that's that's an agreement and that's a covenant that
- 24:36Speaker 2: doesn't apply to us anymore. And so and so we
- 24:40Speaker 2: we we're kind of schizophrenic, and we we're kind of
- 24:43Speaker 2: you know, we got dual personalities because we we don't
- 24:46Speaker 2: we're not rightly dividing the Word of truth. So we
- 24:48Speaker 2: start saying things like, if you don't tithe, you're cursed
- 24:53Speaker 2: with a curse.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I know I didn't heard that one.
- 24:58Speaker 7: Yeah, right, So, so so.
- 25:00Speaker 2: What happens is he's not God the Father, he's the Godfather.
- 25:09Speaker 2: You pay me the tithe, then I'm going to make
- 25:11Speaker 2: sure that you're protected. I'll keep stuff away. And so
- 25:16Speaker 2: we don't look at him the right way.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Now.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but my Bible says in
- 25:21Speaker 2: Galatians three thirteen says Christ has redeemed me from the
- 25:25Speaker 2: curse of the law. Is that what your Bible says?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:28Speaker 4: My Bible? Okay, does it?
- 25:30Speaker 2: But does it add the phrase unless you stop tithing?
- 25:38Speaker 3: Pastor Mark, I'm about to share something with you. Okay,
- 25:42Speaker 3: this is just as and I'm about to share something
- 25:47Speaker 3: which you I know this God. I know this God
- 25:50Speaker 3: on the day, not because I don't have the heart
- 25:54Speaker 3: to do it freely right, because I freely give that
- 25:57Speaker 3: that's no problem, but specifically about the tie even outside
- 26:01Speaker 3: the church, the tither me as a tither.
- 26:05Speaker 4: This season has been okay, just give you a quick update.
- 26:10Speaker 3: The Lord had me put my two weeks well write
- 26:14Speaker 3: a notice for my job last year and I was
- 26:17Speaker 3: making knocking on one hundred k right and being a
- 26:21Speaker 3: creative being in the space where he was calling me
- 26:23Speaker 3: into podcasts and entertainment or whatnot. I knew one day
- 26:26Speaker 3: it was gonna come to an end, but I didn't
- 26:28Speaker 3: know it was gonna come that quickly.
- 26:29Speaker 4: So fast forward.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Now I work remotely from home or whatever, barely making
- 26:35Speaker 3: ends meet, right, and so to the point where I've
- 26:40Speaker 3: struggled with the tithing and I've been currently who I
- 26:47Speaker 3: knowed this guy because I'm finna cry. I noticed, where's
- 26:49Speaker 3: my teasue?
- 26:51Speaker 4: I am having a hard time mm. I am having
- 26:59Speaker 4: a hard time pestimony.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Just knowing that I'm not cursed like the word because
- 27:10Speaker 3: I'm not able to tie. I feel horrible. If I'm honest,
- 27:18Speaker 3: I feel so bad anytime I get my chick, y'all,
- 27:24Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm trying to DECRYE swear to God,
- 27:28Speaker 3: I promise you. Every time I've been getting a chick
- 27:32Speaker 3: at least the last two to three months, I have
- 27:35Speaker 3: cried knowing that I couldn't couldn't so like I wanted
- 27:40Speaker 3: to and I don't know. I'm like, is this conviction?
- 27:44Speaker 3: Am I living out a law? And what is happening
- 27:47Speaker 3: right now?
- 27:48Speaker 4: And so you bringing up this subject. It's not even
- 27:51Speaker 4: just about the church.
- 27:52Speaker 3: It's about the tider, Like what does it say about
- 27:55Speaker 3: me when I in all the words came or forward
- 27:59Speaker 3: the tide? Like I'm barely making it with bills and
- 28:01Speaker 3: all the stuff like that, Like can you have you
- 28:05Speaker 3: had had somebody come to you in that space? I
- 28:07Speaker 3: don't know if you were speaking in that space. I
- 28:09Speaker 3: just want to speak freely because I just feel God.
- 28:11Speaker 3: I want to be transparent because it's like I feel
- 28:13Speaker 3: like other believers are in that space.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah right, I can help you with all those so
- 28:18Speaker 2: so so, yeah, give me a few minutes, I can
- 28:21Speaker 2: I can.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Explain it time, all right?
- 28:24Speaker 2: So I mentioned twenty sixteen, I start sharing these things
- 28:28Speaker 2: with our church. I probably spent I probably started that
- 28:32Speaker 2: at the wrong time of the year. I started in summer,
- 28:34Speaker 2: when sometimes finances take a little dip. Started teaching about, Hey,
- 28:39Speaker 2: tithing isn't a law thing that you don't it's not
- 28:42Speaker 2: something you're required to do to keep from being cursed.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And you know what the response was, People are like, oh,
- 28:49Speaker 2: you mean I don't have to give? They stop giving,
- 28:57Speaker 2: and our finances took a nose dive. Yeah, and here
- 29:01Speaker 2: we are now we're two months behind on our bills.
- 29:04Speaker 2: And I went to Lord and I said, did I
- 29:06Speaker 2: mess up?
- 29:07Speaker 3: Like?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Did I say this wrong? I mean, church is not
- 29:11Speaker 2: making it and I'll never forget. The Lord said, you
- 29:14Speaker 2: can take the easy road and preach a gospel that
- 29:18Speaker 2: requires them to give, and you will continue to barely
- 29:22Speaker 2: make ends meet. Or he said, you can take the
- 29:26Speaker 2: long road and actually get to people's hearts and help
- 29:31Speaker 2: them learn how to give from a place of their
- 29:33Speaker 2: heart and not from a place of law. Okay, because
- 29:37Speaker 2: the moment you move into law and legalism, what's happened
- 29:41Speaker 2: is the Bible says you fall from grace. Fall from
- 29:44Speaker 2: grace is not a salvation issue. Fall from grace is
- 29:48Speaker 2: a whether or not you're going to experience the kingdom
- 29:52Speaker 2: and experience what Jesus came to do and experience what
- 29:55Speaker 2: He's freely given you. Because the moment you start moving
- 29:59Speaker 2: into yourself and saying I got to do it this
- 30:02Speaker 2: way and I got to do it that way, now
- 30:05Speaker 2: you've now made yourself required to keep all of it,
- 30:11Speaker 2: because now you are the agent of your own salvation.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Now you're responsible for whether or not you're going to
- 30:18Speaker 2: be blessed instead of freely receiving what God has given you.
- 30:23Speaker 2: And so I said, you know what, We're going to
- 30:25Speaker 2: do this the long way. I want to get to
- 30:26Speaker 2: people's hearts. I want to do it the right way.
- 30:29Speaker 2: And so I stuck with it, and the Lord gave
- 30:32Speaker 2: us some wisdom on even how to get people even
- 30:35Speaker 2: more engaged in their heart with the heart of God.
- 30:38Speaker 2: And in twenty seventeen, within five months, God completely changed
- 30:43Speaker 2: the financial picture of our church. We've never struggled since then.
- 30:48Speaker 2: And it's not because we take up more offerings. We
- 30:51Speaker 2: don't even pass buckets at our church. Okay, we have
- 30:55Speaker 2: boxes by the doors, and I just say, say a
- 30:57Speaker 2: prayer because there's truth of about what Jesus has already
- 31:02Speaker 2: done for you, and that you can live from that place.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Because here's the problem when we tie the when we
- 31:10Speaker 2: give most of the time, because of what's been preached,
- 31:14Speaker 2: We're giving to get a return. We're giving to not
- 31:19Speaker 2: be cursed. We're giving so that there's a response that
- 31:23Speaker 2: will will bless us. Okay, Like one time in my life,
- 31:27Speaker 2: we weren't doing well. I'm tithing in all of this,
- 31:29Speaker 2: and i was reading in Proverbs one day and I'm like,
- 31:31Speaker 2: why am I not blessed? And it says he that
- 31:34Speaker 2: gives to the poor, the Lord will repay another way.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I was like, that's it.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I haven't been given to the poor. So I started
- 31:41Speaker 2: sending money every month to Jimmy Hall Mission fifteen bucks
- 31:46Speaker 2: a month. I'm going to activate this principle and Proverbs,
- 31:49Speaker 2: I'm going to start giving to the poor. After six months,
- 31:52Speaker 2: I was poor. I was fifteen dollars a month poorer
- 31:57Speaker 2: than I was when I started. And I'm like, what
- 31:59Speaker 2: is the problem. And the Lord took me to First Corinthians,
- 32:02Speaker 2: Chapter thirteen, verse three. I think, and though I give
- 32:07Speaker 2: all of my goods to feed the poor, though I
- 32:11Speaker 2: give my body to be burned. I'm like, yep, I'm
- 32:13Speaker 2: doing that. I'm doing that, and I don't do it
- 32:16Speaker 2: in love. It profits me nothing. But let me ask
- 32:20Speaker 2: you a question. Was I given that fifteen dollars a
- 32:23Speaker 2: month because I was concerned about the poor? No, I
- 32:27Speaker 2: was doing it because I was concerned about me. And
- 32:31Speaker 2: we do things from a self centered motive, and that's
- 32:36Speaker 2: not the way the gospel works. The truth is tewod
- 32:39Speaker 2: Corinthians chapter nine, Right around verse nine or so, it
- 32:43Speaker 2: says God has abounded towards you. Ah, I get excited.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Just listen. Here's the truth. God has abounded towards you
- 32:51Speaker 2: out of his grace, out of his abundance. He has
- 32:55Speaker 2: abounded towards you so that you can abound to every
- 32:59Speaker 2: good work. And we have to shift the way we
- 33:03Speaker 2: think about our giving. Our giving comes out of what
- 33:06Speaker 2: God has blessed us with, not trying to get blessed.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Did you catch that?
- 33:13Speaker 4: I called it. I called it.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Because most time people are giving from a place of lack,
- 33:19Speaker 2: or from a place of necessity, or from a place
- 33:22Speaker 2: of law, and they're not giving from a place of Father.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I thank you for what you've blessed me with and
- 33:27Speaker 2: now I'm going to take out of what you've blessed me,
- 33:30Speaker 2: and I want to be able to bless others with it.
- 33:33Speaker 2: So then what does that mean for you? It means
- 33:36Speaker 2: that in the season that you're in right now, Okay,
- 33:41Speaker 2: you get your check, and if all you can give
- 33:44Speaker 2: is five dollars, father, I thank you that you've blessed
- 33:47Speaker 2: me so that i can give five dollars this week.
- 33:50Speaker 2: And I'm going to give to every good work. And
- 33:53Speaker 2: if you have to take that five dollars and split
- 33:55Speaker 2: it up to five different good works and do one
- 33:57Speaker 2: dollar each, he said that you will do to every
- 34:00Speaker 2: good work. And so you take him at his word
- 34:04Speaker 2: from a place of you're already blessed, not the place
- 34:07Speaker 2: that you're trying to get blessed. And that's the key
- 34:10Speaker 2: to breakthrough. And you can give it cheerfully. So it
- 34:15Speaker 2: says there in second Corinthians nine. You don't have to
- 34:17Speaker 2: give grudgingly, like I have to let this go. That's
- 34:20Speaker 2: what happens when people get under the law of tithing
- 34:23Speaker 2: or of necessity. But you can give it cheerfully. And
- 34:27Speaker 2: in the context what he's talking about is, look, you're
- 34:30Speaker 2: a church that can help another church. But as you do,
- 34:34Speaker 2: there will be a time that that church can help
- 34:36Speaker 2: you when you might be having a season where you're
- 34:41Speaker 2: not financially able to help as much. Right, And there's
- 34:45Speaker 2: an equality that takes place as you're just saying, Father,
- 34:49Speaker 2: I thank you. I'm going to give what I can.
- 34:52Speaker 2: And I'm telling you when you go from that standpoint,
- 34:56Speaker 2: you step into a different realm of kingdom finances are
- 35:00Speaker 2: now because of your heart and because you're not allowing guilt,
- 35:04Speaker 2: shame and condemnation. I want to tell you God wants
- 35:07Speaker 2: to release you from that today because there is therefore
- 35:11Speaker 2: now no condemnation, none, and you're given in all of that.
- 35:17Speaker 2: There's no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,
- 35:21Speaker 2: because now He's freed you to be you and to say, man, Father,
- 35:26Speaker 2: I thank you. I'm just going to abound to based
- 35:28Speaker 2: on what you've given me. And then you step into
- 35:30Speaker 2: this different level of kingdom finances, and that is that
- 35:34Speaker 2: He begins to add everything to you. You're seeking first
- 35:37Speaker 2: the Kingdom, you're seeking first His righteousness, and what happens
- 35:41Speaker 2: as you're doing it, even out of the little that
- 35:43Speaker 2: you have right now, he just begins to add. He
- 35:46Speaker 2: begins to add, And can he not multiply the fishes
- 35:49Speaker 2: and the loaves the ten dollars that you have left.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Can he not multiply that you give that ten dollars
- 35:56Speaker 2: to a ministry or to a church or whatever. Can
- 35:58Speaker 2: he not take the ten dollars and do more with
- 36:02Speaker 2: that ten because it's done in faith and cause it
- 36:06Speaker 2: to go further than the hundred or the thousand that
- 36:10Speaker 2: you would have given before because it was given under law.
- 36:15Speaker 2: That's the grace of God. He's the God of multiplication.
- 36:25Speaker 7: Praise God, Praise God.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Did not know?
- 36:32Speaker 4: I think you there was a time.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Where I feel like I gave out of love, especially
- 36:42Speaker 3: when I had it, like it was just like effortless,
- 36:44Speaker 3: like it just didn't matter.
- 36:46Speaker 4: I gave above, you know.
- 36:48Speaker 3: And I think I am mourning being in that space
- 36:51Speaker 3: of being able to do and now it's become legalistic,
- 36:56Speaker 3: and so I'm grateful that you told me because it
- 36:57Speaker 3: gives me the freedom so you just could do what
- 36:59Speaker 3: you can and do it in faith, not do it
- 37:02Speaker 3: because it's like, oh no, that I'm not going to
- 37:04Speaker 3: be blessed anymore because I'm not able to do this anymore.
- 37:06Speaker 3: So I think I've struggled with that internally and haven't
- 37:09Speaker 3: said anything so against.
- 37:10Speaker 4: God just knew that we need to talk about it today.
- 37:15Speaker 4: So I appreciate that.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I don't want to get your heart's desire to tell
- 37:20Speaker 3: us what happened in February of God's goodness, because you're
- 37:23Speaker 3: talking real good Pastor Mark.
- 37:25Speaker 4: I don't know why I want to keep calling you
- 37:26Speaker 4: doctor Mark.
- 37:27Speaker 2: But maybe it's prophetical.
- 37:30Speaker 4: But what happened in February? I think I'm still getting
- 37:35Speaker 4: myself together. What happened in February?
- 37:38Speaker 2: Well, what are you talking about?
- 37:41Speaker 4: We were talking about earlier. You was like, I want
- 37:43Speaker 4: to tell you a story.
- 37:44Speaker 2: That yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Oh this is awesome.
- 37:47Speaker 2: So at least, I mean one of the things I
- 37:51Speaker 2: wanted to see, all right, So I told you about
- 37:53Speaker 2: what happened in my life, the event that took place, right,
- 37:56Speaker 2: instant miracles, instant experiencing, freedom from sin, addiction, whatever you
- 38:03Speaker 2: want to say, Well, what I wanted to see is
- 38:08Speaker 2: is a meeting where I can help people experience the
- 38:11Speaker 2: same thing. Okay, move into the experience of it, you know,
- 38:15Speaker 2: because we got enough teaching that we should have been
- 38:19Speaker 2: freed a long time ago. You right, all right, you're right,
- 38:22Speaker 2: Just be real. And so what I don't want. I
- 38:26Speaker 2: don't want people just to keep coming and just being
- 38:28Speaker 2: taught and being taught and never experiencing it. Right, You've
- 38:32Speaker 2: got to experience God eternal life John seventeen three is
- 38:36Speaker 2: he said, eternal life is knowing you. It's not going
- 38:39Speaker 2: to heaven, it's not being escaping hell. It's knowing the Father.
- 38:43Speaker 2: It's having a real experience. And in chapter fourteen, around
- 38:47Speaker 2: verse twenty six or so, he said, look, I'm going
- 38:50Speaker 2: to come and manifest, make myself real to you. I'm like,
- 38:53Speaker 2: I want that. So so what I've been wanting to
- 38:58Speaker 2: do is something I just call it forever re encounter
- 39:01Speaker 2: uh and and help people connect with the truth. John
- 39:04Speaker 2: eight thirty two says, if you continue my words, you'll
- 39:07Speaker 2: be my disciples indeed, and you will know the truth,
- 39:10Speaker 2: and the truth will make you free. What does that mean?
- 39:14Speaker 2: It means I don't have to make myself free. It
- 39:17Speaker 2: means my job is simply to discover the truth, and
- 39:19Speaker 2: the truth will do its job.
- 39:22Speaker 4: That's it.
- 39:23Speaker 2: That's how easy it is. So instead of figuring out
- 39:27Speaker 2: do I need a fast more? Do I need to
- 39:28Speaker 2: pray more? Do I need to read the word more?
- 39:30Speaker 2: Do I need to go to church more? Do I
- 39:31Speaker 2: need to do this more?
- 39:32Speaker 3: Do I?
- 39:32Speaker 2: Wait a minute, maybe all I need to do is
- 39:34Speaker 2: actually discover the truth and just let truth do his job.
- 39:39Speaker 4: How about that?
- 39:42Speaker 3: So you're coming from I just feel like God sent
- 39:45Speaker 3: you to comfie meck today.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Did anybody nick feel off about mind? Like I feel cut? Okay, okay, okay, I'm.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 39:58Speaker 7: But see this is again.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I started going to church nine months before I was born.
- 40:04Speaker 2: In other words, I've always been in.
- 40:05Speaker 7: Church, and I'm going to church, you know because my
- 40:15Speaker 7: dad was a pastor.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, so so I've always been in church,
- 40:20Speaker 2: always served in church, all right. I was the good
- 40:23Speaker 2: p K.
- 40:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 40:24Speaker 2: So uh you know I didn't rebel except when I
- 40:27Speaker 2: listened to Christian rock. So you know, from from their standpoint,
- 40:31Speaker 2: that was my rebellious years. But but you know, but
- 40:34Speaker 2: the thing is is is again getting back to the
- 40:37Speaker 2: encounterpiece the truth making you free. So what we did
- 40:41Speaker 2: is in Colorado had the opportunity of pastor, let me
- 40:45Speaker 2: use this facilities, and we announced it. One hundred and
- 40:48Speaker 2: sixty people showed up and now these are most of
- 40:53Speaker 2: them people that's that's got a good foundation in the word. Okay,
- 40:58Speaker 2: and we just started. I just started taking them right
- 41:01Speaker 2: into it. Romans chapter six, Shall we continue and sin
- 41:04Speaker 2: that grace may have bound God forbid? How can we
- 41:07Speaker 2: who are dead to it live any longer in it?
- 41:10Speaker 2: And so taking through just the truth of you can
- 41:13Speaker 2: actually be dead to sin. That's what the Bible says.
- 41:16Speaker 2: And then at the end of it said, now let
- 41:19Speaker 2: me walk you through the experience of it. I didn't
- 41:22Speaker 2: lay hands on them, I didn't prophesy over them. I
- 41:25Speaker 2: didn't do all of that stuff. All I wanted them
- 41:27Speaker 2: to do is connect with truth. I said, how many
- 41:30Speaker 2: of you got some things that you're still struggling with
- 41:32Speaker 2: that you've never experienced freedom. From eighty to eighty five
- 41:36Speaker 2: percent of the people stood up. People have been in church,
- 41:39Speaker 2: many of them their whole life still not free. And
- 41:44Speaker 2: we walked them through. I just walked them through just
- 41:46Speaker 2: a simple exercise to connect with the truth. And my goodness,
- 41:51Speaker 2: things started falling off of people. People started encountering freedom.
- 41:56Speaker 2: The testimonies we got afterwards was just absolutely phenomenal, and man,
- 42:02Speaker 2: it was awesome.
- 42:05Speaker 3: You you. You you said a lot right there, And
- 42:10Speaker 3: I know there is a platform where most most of
- 42:12Speaker 3: my my viewers are our viewers are believers, and they
- 42:16Speaker 3: might struggle in certain areas. Right, you said something earlier
- 42:21Speaker 3: regarding us having to practice fasting stuff out, and.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Oh sorry, I struck a nerve, didn't.
- 42:31Speaker 4: I think that we need to hear the truth.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Because what I'm hearing right now is it's a song
- 42:37Speaker 3: that's called simple Gospel.
- 42:39Speaker 6: Right.
- 42:39Speaker 4: I don't know if you've heard about it.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I can't think of the artists right now, but our
- 42:42Speaker 3: real it basically goes, I will rejoice in the simple Gospel.
- 42:45Speaker 3: And so we make the gospel complicated, like we make
- 42:48Speaker 3: the changes of the word. We we don't really look
- 42:53Speaker 3: at the word for the black and white that it is.
- 42:56Speaker 3: And sometimes well not even sometimes you just said you
- 43:01Speaker 3: can fast all day. This is this is just the
- 43:03Speaker 3: interpretation of with pastor markets. You can fast all day,
- 43:07Speaker 3: you would tithe all day, you can you can speak
- 43:10Speaker 3: in tones all day, you can prophesy all day, but
- 43:13Speaker 3: without truth, your life will not change.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah, because when you do all of that and you
- 43:17Speaker 2: get a result, then who's responsible for the result?
- 43:22Speaker 3: You are, so as a believer because of as a scripture.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Now I don't know address is pastor so okay.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I do so I can help.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a scripture that talks about when we fast.
- 43:37Speaker 3: I think it's that Matthew Wellers says about when we fast,
- 43:40Speaker 3: when we pray, when we give, and when we look
- 43:42Speaker 3: at scriptures.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Like that, that in my mind that encourages us to fast, pray,
- 43:47Speaker 4: and give.
- 43:48Speaker 3: How do I digest that as a believer knowing that
- 43:52Speaker 3: trying not to live in that space of I'm trying
- 43:55Speaker 3: to get a return in it, Like, how do I
- 43:56Speaker 3: balance that?
- 43:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:58Speaker 3: Right?
- 43:58Speaker 2: So so you and then you have to ask the question,
- 44:01Speaker 2: what's the purpose of fast, praying, and giving, right, If
- 44:05Speaker 2: it's not to do all of these things to get
- 44:08Speaker 2: some kind of a result, right right? All right, So
- 44:11Speaker 2: let's take it with fasting. What is fasting really fasting?
- 44:14Speaker 2: First of all, Jesus was kind of dealing with people
- 44:17Speaker 2: who are fasting under the law when he told that, okay,
- 44:20Speaker 2: because it's before the cross. Sometimes Jesus was dealing with
- 44:23Speaker 2: the culture of his day, so he said, don't be
- 44:25Speaker 2: like the hypocrites when they fast. They want to be
- 44:27Speaker 2: seen by people, and all of that but when he
- 44:31Speaker 2: talks about the fasting, said, look, when I go, that's
- 44:33Speaker 2: when my disciples will start fasting. And what is he
- 44:37Speaker 2: talking about? Why do we fast? What fasting does is
- 44:41Speaker 2: is it doesn't move God, because God already moved. There
- 44:50Speaker 2: is a reason why we call it the finished work
- 44:52Speaker 2: of Christ. When he said it is finished, He's already
- 44:55Speaker 2: given everything to us. Okay, and you know, and I
- 45:00Speaker 2: can show you that in different places. But we still
- 45:04Speaker 2: operate from this false idea that He hasn't given us something,
- 45:10Speaker 2: or that we have to get him to give us something,
- 45:12Speaker 2: instead of operating in a new covenant reality that we're
- 45:16Speaker 2: already joint heirs with Christ as he is, so am
- 45:19Speaker 2: I he said, whatever he said, the Holy Spirit will
- 45:22Speaker 2: show you what's mine, and show it to you. Why
- 45:24Speaker 2: because it's yours. First Corinthians, Chapter one, verse twelve says,
- 45:28Speaker 2: we've been given This is so good. We've been given
- 45:31Speaker 2: the spirit of God. Why so that we might know
- 45:35Speaker 2: the things that have been freely given to us by God. See,
- 45:39Speaker 2: the Holy Ghost isn't just so I can speak in tongues.
- 45:42Speaker 2: It's not just so I can have power. It's actually
- 45:45Speaker 2: to reveal the inheritance that's already been given to me,
- 45:49Speaker 2: so that I can start walking in that and not
- 45:51Speaker 2: trying to get God to do things for me. All right,
- 45:54Speaker 2: that's the difference. We're trying to get God to give
- 45:57Speaker 2: us stuff that he's already given us, and it don't
- 46:00Speaker 2: work that way. So what's fasting for? Fasting? What it
- 46:04Speaker 2: really does is it puts your flesh under subjection. Paul
- 46:07Speaker 2: talked about I discipline my flesh. I keep it under subjection.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:12Speaker 2: It does that in a way. So because your flesh
- 46:15Speaker 2: is loud, yeah, it'll tell you stuff, I want this food,
- 46:19Speaker 2: I want to do this, I want to And so
- 46:21Speaker 2: what you do is you discipline that wild horse of
- 46:23Speaker 2: your flesh. And then as you do, and as it
- 46:27Speaker 2: comes under subjection, what voice then becomes louder? Your spirit man,
- 46:32Speaker 2: the voice of God. And so fasting is the opportunity
- 46:37Speaker 2: to make sure that the flesh stays under control, so
- 46:40Speaker 2: that your spirit man stays in control, see, and that
- 46:44Speaker 2: you're hearing him more clearly.
- 46:47Speaker 4: And that's it.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Then you can just walk into that and walk in
- 46:50Speaker 2: the spirit. So it makes it easy. You know, prayer
- 46:53Speaker 2: is communion with God. Most of the prayers that Jesus
- 46:56Speaker 2: prayed were more declarations than they were request Now, you
- 47:01Speaker 2: can still request things God wants to dynamically be moving
- 47:06Speaker 2: in your life. So, hey, Lord, I need help with this. Father,
- 47:09Speaker 2: what's the wisdom for this? You can still make a
- 47:12Speaker 2: request of him in that way, but still I'm going
- 47:15Speaker 2: to receive it by faith. He's still the one that's
- 47:18Speaker 2: doing it right. And then my giving isn't so that
- 47:21Speaker 2: it can benefit me. My giving now is because I'm
- 47:24Speaker 2: a child of God. Get this, Oh, this is so
- 47:26Speaker 2: good because when Jesus, because what we do is we
- 47:29Speaker 2: still try to look for formulas, principles, things and steps
- 47:32Speaker 2: to try to get a result. So when Jesus said
- 47:35Speaker 2: love your enemies, then we're saying, Okay, somebody stabbed me
- 47:39Speaker 2: in the back, I'm going to I have to love them.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Because Jesus said I have to love them. You miss
- 47:43Speaker 2: the whole point. We're still saying this is what we're
- 47:47Speaker 2: supposed to do instead of saying this is who we are.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Because he finishes all of that, pray for them, bless
- 47:55Speaker 2: those that curse you. He finishes that by saying, and
- 47:58Speaker 2: you'll be the children and of your Father in heaven,
- 48:01Speaker 2: for he is good, and he is merciful to the
- 48:04Speaker 2: unrighteous and the righteous. His character and his nature is
- 48:08Speaker 2: one of love, and it's one of giving, and it's
- 48:11Speaker 2: one of mercy, and it's one of regardless of whether
- 48:15Speaker 2: or not they've done him wrong or not. And since
- 48:18Speaker 2: I'm a child of God, I have his character and
- 48:20Speaker 2: his nature on the inside. And this is what it
- 48:22Speaker 2: looks like. I love people, I give to people. Why,
- 48:27Speaker 2: that's just who I am. So I'm not doing it
- 48:30Speaker 2: formulaically like I've got to get a result. It becomes
- 48:34Speaker 2: my lifestyle because I'm like my daddy and that's it,
- 48:39Speaker 2: and it's easy and it's simple, and it takes all
- 48:43Speaker 2: the pressure off.
- 48:47Speaker 3: This is so good because I think that even with
- 48:51Speaker 3: I think this is all just working together and making
- 48:54Speaker 3: so much sense. Because now, okay, so now I hear
- 48:59Speaker 3: the question, and this is for viewers as well. Now
- 49:03Speaker 3: I hear the question, will can you tell me when
- 49:05Speaker 3: I should it fast? Because I know, okay, of one
- 49:08Speaker 3: of the answers in my mind is like, okay, when
- 49:10Speaker 3: I know my felich is like overwhelming or whatever, or
- 49:13Speaker 3: I want to hear God more.
- 49:15Speaker 4: But what about the idea of corporate fast?
- 49:17Speaker 3: When I go to my church, and it's saying, oh,
- 49:18Speaker 3: we're going to go on a fast day, or we're
- 49:20Speaker 3: going to go on these fast these.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Type of days. The purpose of that is the same thing,
- 49:25Speaker 4: or it can be.
- 49:27Speaker 2: It depends on you know, it depends on what the
- 49:29Speaker 2: leadership is. And you know, you find an example of it,
- 49:33Speaker 2: for instance in I think Acts chapter fourteen, where you
- 49:37Speaker 2: have a group that's together. You know, Paul was in
- 49:39Speaker 2: that group. You have profits that are in that group,
- 49:42Speaker 2: and they're spending some time together and it says they
- 49:45Speaker 2: were ministering to the Lord. So what they're doing in
- 49:48Speaker 2: that time, if there's some fasting involved, is they're saying,
- 49:51Speaker 2: we're just dedicating this time that we're going to spend
- 49:54Speaker 2: time ministering to God. We're going to worship, we're going
- 49:57Speaker 2: to do some things. So they weren't being ministered too
- 50:00Speaker 2: string to the Lord. That needs to be something that people,
- 50:05Speaker 2: really you've got to make that a practice in your life.
- 50:08Speaker 2: I want to minister to Him. I don't want to
- 50:10Speaker 2: just be minister too. God loves for you to minister
- 50:14Speaker 2: to Him and so and in the middle of that,
- 50:17Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit said, separate unto me. Paul and Barnabas
- 50:22Speaker 2: for the work that I will show them, all right,
- 50:24Speaker 2: So now the gifts of the spirit come in into
- 50:27Speaker 2: a corporate environment while they're praying and fasting and stuff.
- 50:32Speaker 2: And then it says when they had fasted and prayed,
- 50:35Speaker 2: that's when Paul and barnabas so they continued on. They
- 50:38Speaker 2: made sure that that was the voice of God. And
- 50:42Speaker 2: so it's just creating that environment. Man, we're going to
- 50:45Speaker 2: hear God. Together, we're going to be more sensitive to God.
- 50:48Speaker 2: So if you want to do something corporately like that.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Then do it.
- 50:51Speaker 2: But fasting isn't to try to get God to do
- 50:55Speaker 2: something right, and so there's great value when people decide
- 50:59Speaker 2: to do it together.
- 51:01Speaker 3: That's so good. That's so good. And I'm gonna tell
- 51:04Speaker 3: you what. It is definitely on time because I heard
- 51:10Speaker 3: the Lord tell me that to give him ten days.
- 51:16Speaker 4: All right. I'm being so transparent.
- 51:18Speaker 3: So I just heard the Lord it was last week,
- 51:20Speaker 3: to give him ten days, right, And I was like, okay.
- 51:24Speaker 3: I immediately assumed that I was gonna be fasting, right
- 51:29Speaker 3: and not to say he doesn't want me to fast,
- 51:33Speaker 3: but I feel like now I gotta go back and say, okay,
- 51:36Speaker 3: let me check my heart on neck, because am I
- 51:39Speaker 3: wanting something in the ten days?
- 51:42Speaker 4: What does giving God ten days look like for him?
- 51:46Speaker 3: Like?
- 51:47Speaker 4: God, what do you want to send this?
- 51:48Speaker 3: So you just checked me and didn't even know it,
- 51:52Speaker 3: because I honestly just naturally always assume when God says
- 51:56Speaker 3: give me this, I'm like, Okay, well, I'm fasting, I'm
- 51:58Speaker 3: gonna give up food. Would do this? You know, like
- 52:01Speaker 3: I'm going to pray at this certain time or you
- 52:03Speaker 3: know consecration and what consecration is. Now I'm questioning a
- 52:09Speaker 3: lot of stuff right now in my mind, like what
- 52:11Speaker 3: does all of that look like for real being in
- 52:15Speaker 3: the faith?
- 52:15Speaker 4: Because what I'm told it don't sound like it was right.
- 52:21Speaker 4: Some of it could be right. I'm not trying to
- 52:22Speaker 4: knock everything, but the motivation, the heart posture, the heart
- 52:26Speaker 4: posture behind it. I know I hear God, and I
- 52:29Speaker 4: know I heard God say give me ten days. But
- 52:31Speaker 4: what does that? I didn't even say God, what does
- 52:33Speaker 4: that mean? I just assume, Oh, he wants me to fast?
- 52:38Speaker 2: Well, you know, we love, we love making things hard
- 52:42Speaker 2: on ourselves, Mark, I promise you.
- 52:46Speaker 4: I mean it's in the most respectful way. I almost
- 52:48Speaker 4: through this mic. It you just said that.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Go ahead, you mean, yeah, so so we do that.
- 52:56Speaker 2: It's like we were ministering at Love Lady one time
- 52:58Speaker 2: and we had there was a girl there. Course, you know,
- 53:00Speaker 2: so many come out of addiction and drugs, and so
- 53:03Speaker 2: you've got a girl that I mean, she just she
- 53:07Speaker 2: was cutting herself, you know, and doing that a lot,
- 53:10Speaker 2: you know, just to punish herself for the decisions she
- 53:16Speaker 2: had made and inflicting more pain. And I said, do
- 53:21Speaker 2: you believe in Jesus, Absolutely, I'm a Christian. I said,
- 53:25Speaker 2: every time you cut yourself, then you're saying that Jesus,
- 53:27Speaker 2: what Jesus did on the cross wasn't quite enough. Every
- 53:31Speaker 2: time that you that you inflict pain on yourself, then
- 53:34Speaker 2: you're saying, you know, what Jesus did wasn't enough, and
- 53:37Speaker 2: I need a little bit of more pain for myself
- 53:40Speaker 2: when he actually took it all. And what we have
- 53:42Speaker 2: to make sure of is that we don't feel like
- 53:45Speaker 2: that we need to punish ourselves, beat ourselves up, suffer,
- 53:48Speaker 2: do all of these things that somehow that's going to
- 53:51Speaker 2: get a greater that that's going to move God. God's
- 53:53Speaker 2: going to look at us and say, wow, look at
- 53:56Speaker 2: your dedication. You really deserve to be blessed because you
- 53:59Speaker 2: did this, Because now we've just moved right back into law. Yeah,
- 54:04Speaker 2: we've moved right back in to look at what I've done,
- 54:07Speaker 2: as if that then makes me more deserving of something,
- 54:13Speaker 2: when actually none of us deserve the grace of God.
- 54:18Speaker 2: And until we can stay in that posture of just
- 54:22Speaker 2: simply receiving what's been freely given to us and I
- 54:26Speaker 2: allow ourselves to experience the abundant life, Romans five point
- 54:30Speaker 2: seventeen says that those that receive abundance of grace and
- 54:34Speaker 2: the gift of righteousness, they will reign in life through
- 54:38Speaker 2: the One Jesus Christ. So if I'm not reigning, then
- 54:41Speaker 2: the problem probably is that I haven't received abundance of
- 54:43Speaker 2: grace or the gift of righteousness. I'm still trying to
- 54:47Speaker 2: achieve it, and that's the problem and religion. We're trying
- 54:52Speaker 2: to achieve what's already been given and it don't work
- 54:56Speaker 2: that way.
- 54:57Speaker 1: See.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Well, well, Jesus, pastor Mark, I think you've given us
- 55:07Speaker 3: a taste of what we're going to see starting April
- 55:10Speaker 3: twenty third.
- 55:12Speaker 4: Oh so yeah, can you tell us a.
- 55:19Speaker 3: Little bit about what we can look forward to at
- 55:23Speaker 3: this conference, because this is just maybe forty five minutes
- 55:28Speaker 3: an hour and we got with three four days of
- 55:30Speaker 3: the man.
- 55:31Speaker 4: Can you tell us what we can expect.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you can expect a whole lot of this. So
- 55:37Speaker 2: you know, well it would be twenty third. It's a
- 55:39Speaker 2: Wednesday really through a Sunday. But you know Todd White
- 55:43Speaker 2: has if you're familiar with his ministry, lifestyle, Christianity, that
- 55:49Speaker 2: guy's just radical.
- 55:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 55:50Speaker 2: I mean he just he just goes out into the
- 55:52Speaker 2: streets and and and just starts praying for people and
- 55:57Speaker 2: it's just really it's a radical ministry that he has.
- 56:01Speaker 2: He just doesn't care what people think. But it comes
- 56:05Speaker 2: from the standpoint because he came out of a major
- 56:07Speaker 2: addictions and all of that and just decided to believe
- 56:10Speaker 2: the truth. And God completely transformed his life and has
- 56:14Speaker 2: used him all around the world. So we're really excited
- 56:17Speaker 2: to have him. A friend of mine. Chad Gonzalez teaches
- 56:22Speaker 2: about healing and all of that from this place of
- 56:24Speaker 2: our union with Christ. Okay, so we're trying to get healed,
- 56:28Speaker 2: but maybe we're not really looking at the root. Because
- 56:30Speaker 2: while it says by his stripes we were healed, the
- 56:33Speaker 2: first part of that verse is He took our sin
- 56:35Speaker 2: so that we, having died to sin, might live to righteousness.
- 56:39Speaker 2: And so the fact that we're disconnected from the root
- 56:42Speaker 2: of sickness, which is the sin itself, means that I
- 56:45Speaker 2: don't have to be sick. That's why I call it
- 56:48Speaker 2: Forever Healed. And then we've got Butch and Julianne Hartman.
- 56:52Speaker 2: For those that may be watching, I don't know if
- 56:54Speaker 2: you remember Danny Fannom or Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon. Well,
- 56:59Speaker 2: he was the creator of Oh Wow, Yeah, and his wife,
- 57:03Speaker 2: she had fibromyalgia and all kinds of stuff. God radically
- 57:07Speaker 2: transformed their life and now they're just going around preaching
- 57:11Speaker 2: the gospel, going to comic cons preaching the gospel. Is
- 57:14Speaker 2: really amazing what God's doing with them, So they're going
- 57:17Speaker 2: to come. And then we've got Daniel Amstutz, which is
- 57:19Speaker 2: in charge of the healing ministry at Karris Bible College,
- 57:23Speaker 2: and Andrew willmake ministries. And then another friend of mine,
- 57:26Speaker 2: Jeremiah Johnson, is who's just a great minister of the
- 57:31Speaker 2: grace of God. And I'll be teaching these things too.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever seen a group of like
- 57:37Speaker 2: minded people that preach this gospel and the simplicity of
- 57:42Speaker 2: it come together under one roof like this, And so
- 57:47Speaker 2: I'm really excited about what God's getting ready to do
- 57:50Speaker 2: at the Forever Healed Conference. It's going to be amazing.
- 57:54Speaker 4: I know it's going to be amazing.
- 57:55Speaker 3: I just I felt that when I just can't express
- 57:59Speaker 3: in words what I sense from you. And I told Brad,
- 58:03Speaker 3: I was like, Hey, who is that man that was talking?
- 58:06Speaker 3: And I called I literally called Desiree. Afterwards, I was like, bro, like,
- 58:11Speaker 3: I don't know what this conference is, but we gotta go.
- 58:13Speaker 3: And I looked at it and I was like, oh
- 58:15Speaker 3: my gosh, it's affordable.
- 58:16Speaker 4: Can we can do this?
- 58:17Speaker 3: And I can just come to Birmingham. But I know
- 58:19Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to it. I'm coming. I'm gonna be there.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Oh it's gonna it's gonna be amazing.
- 58:26Speaker 4: Desiree. I'm about to because I can't. This has been
- 58:29Speaker 4: so good.
- 58:30Speaker 3: I do have a question. So a lot of what
- 58:33Speaker 3: you shared today was straight gospel from the Bible, right
- 58:38Speaker 3: the words. So I think a lot of people, a
- 58:40Speaker 3: lot of us struggle a lot of times either because
- 58:42Speaker 3: we haven't heard the truth or we haven't read the truth.
- 58:46Speaker 3: So how would you help someone who is wanting to
- 58:51Speaker 3: get started with reading the Word as a new covenant believer,
- 58:55Speaker 3: Like what would you instruct them on how to start
- 58:57Speaker 3: and like practically, like what could that look like for them?
- 59:00Speaker 3: Because I know the Holy Spirit has to be a
- 59:01Speaker 3: part of it, right, Yeah, So how would you instruct
- 59:04Speaker 3: them or help them to really get started with diving
- 59:07Speaker 3: into the truth.
- 59:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:09Speaker 2: So so if you're just going to start diving into
- 59:11Speaker 2: it one of if you're looking at the words of Jesus,
- 59:13Speaker 2: I'd start with the Gospel of John, okay, and just
- 59:16Speaker 2: start reading through that because there's so many, so many truths,
- 59:19Speaker 2: so many words of Jesus Savian and John fifteen. He said,
- 59:22Speaker 2: if you abide me and my words abide in you,
- 59:25Speaker 2: you'll ask what you will and it will be done.
- 59:27Speaker 2: And he said, and in this, my Father is glorified
- 59:30Speaker 2: that you bear much fruit. And see, we get religious
- 59:33Speaker 2: with stuff because as soon as I say, hey, God
- 59:35Speaker 2: wants you to bear much fruit? What kind of fruit
- 59:37Speaker 2: is that, you start going to fruit of the spirit.
- 59:40Speaker 2: But Jesus didn't say that. We take a scripture of
- 59:42Speaker 2: written way over here and connect it to something Jesus
- 59:45Speaker 2: said years before. And Jesus said, right there, what is
- 59:48Speaker 2: he glorified that you bear much prayer fruit? God gets
- 59:51Speaker 2: glory when you get the answers to your prayer. That's fruit.
- 59:54Speaker 4: That's good.
- 59:56Speaker 2: That's what he's talking about. And and and so it's
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: stop trying to stop trying to read it just in
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: line of what your pastor said, or what your doctrine
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: in your denomination or whatever it is, and just read
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: it for what it says, okay. And so that's what
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I do. And then and then Ephesians is fantastic. Let
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: me explain Ephesians real quick. Six chapters. First three chapters.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: In Ephesians Paul's writing, it describes who you are in Christ.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: It describes our position in Christ. It describes what happened
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: when you receive Christ. It gives you all of your
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: position in the spirit, realm, and your identity in the
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: first three chapters. Then the next three chapters, chapters four
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: through six, talks about practically what that looks like in
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: your life, how that gets walked out, how that gets
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: lived out. So you start with the ideal and then
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you move it to the practical. And so Ephesians is
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: great for that. So those would be kind of my
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: two starting places for a new believer or somebody say,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: how do I do this so it doesn't get too
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: far and too heavy and too over your head.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: That's good, that's good, that's so good. When you were talking,
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: I just heard the Lord say, like he helps to
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: believe or believe again like you, like all of us
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: in his room right now, are like grew up in
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: the church just like you. I'm a PK so and
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: so I did grow up in a religion and being
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: like strict and stuff like that. I started learning relationship
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: when I got out of college. But then being in
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: this space or whatever, you know how what's rooted in
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: you or hasn't uprooted out of you can resurface itself.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: And so now you got me like, oh, I got
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: to ask the right questions. It's not that I don't
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: believe in God, it's not that I don't love God,
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: but the manner in which I'm managing the relationship is
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: not how he wants me to manage relationships. So I
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: even speak to the person that has been struggling certain areas,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: like even me with the tithe and like doesn't mean
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: that I don't want to tie or that my heart
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: is not right. Is that I am looking at the
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: perspective like God is looking at me like how I
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: feel about him, And it's like that's not fair to
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: That's not fair to me. But it's definitely not fair
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: to God because he don't even love me or look
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: at me like that.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: So you help the believer believe again.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: And so I'm grateful for you. I'm so excited about
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: forever free. I'm so excited about what you're doing, and
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I'm so excited and honored that I'm on the same
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: plan platforms do you are so dope And so one
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: of the things that we do here it just as
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: is we believe in given I guess the final words.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: So we've talked about a couple of things. We talked
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: a few things, but it's rooted in the words. So
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: if it's anything on your heart or anything you want
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: to make sure we just land the plane on the
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: floor is yours?
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Well, you know, I mean, I'll just say this, The
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: gospel really is simple. And this was a concern even
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: in the early church. Paul said, I'm really concerned for
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: you that you're going to be that you're being moved
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: away from the simplicity of the gospel, and that you're
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: being deceived by the serpent that deceived Eve same thing.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: And so.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: The more complicated the gospel gets, then the more the
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: more it's not from God. The more complicated we make
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Christianity and the religion, the less we'll really experience from God.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: And so I just want to encourage, whether you're a
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: new believer, whether you're a mature believer, get back to
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: the simple truth. And what's the simple gospel. Simple gospel
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: is simply this is that Jesus came to restore us
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: back to our position of dominion in the world. He
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: came and he took all of our sin, He took
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: all of our problems, he took all of our mistakes.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: He kindly, he moved it all out of the way.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: So it's no longer an issue. Okay, Now you have
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: to just believe that. And when you believe in Him,
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: then what happens as a result is then along with that,
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: He's given us the kingdom. He said it it's your
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Well, man,
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: if we got the kingdom, then why am I still
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: trying to figure out how to get it, and so
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: and so we've we've got to shift our understanding and
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: our faith to what's already been given, not to what
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: we're trying to get. And then what happens is this
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: becomes not a system of rules and what in commands
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: and things that tell me how to live my life.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: It actually becomes a discovery of my inheritance. It becomes
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: my last will and testament. It becomes it's like, oh,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: this is mine. Oh, this is who I am. Oh
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: this is what God made me. Oh look you there.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Oh let me just lived from that place of just receiving. Oh,
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: he just gave it to me. Okay, I'm not trying
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: to achieve it. I just need to receive it. Get
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: back to the simplicity of the Gospel, and life will
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: be so much better.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: I think he already knows what he's gonna say.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: Wow, I am glad you were last. I am glad
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: because I don't I have to go sit in what
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: just happened. I really have to go see what just
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: happened because the reminder, and I'm even saying this for
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: my spirit man and my fleshold, I won't be played in.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: I'm gonna say this out loud, and I haven't been
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: less of a believer. I'm just opened my eyes to
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: a new revelation of God is simple. But it's not
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: that I'm not a believer. Like we're learning. We're learning
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: as we go with doing this day.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: We don't all have it right. And being open to
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: the fact that.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Another believer has it right in a section like it's like,
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: you're really, Jessica, you have over complicated being a believer.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: That's what if I had gotten nothing else from a day, Jessica.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: You have over complicated being a believer in Jesus Christ,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: A daughter of the King, a child of the Most Come.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: So I'm grateful. I am grateful for you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: And if there is anything that we could do for you,
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: you family, b GTV, We're grateful for this network.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: If there's a way we can serve you. Listen. At
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: this point, I'm like, I want to be well past
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: the market. I don't want to be wagh yet. Okay,
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: because he is the real deal, and so does Al Ray.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: This conference is gonna be oh child, I'm excited about
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: I'm listen, I'm not wearing makeup.
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna be comfortable. I'm not it ain't about being
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: for me.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna have my hair on the pony tail like
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: I am there to learn like so thank you so much,

- 1:07:13Speaker 3: left by the time, you might want to go ahead
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: and get them because he said already said earlier that
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: it is a it's already felt filled up to almost
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: the capacity.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: So if you're coming, just let us know that you're coming.
