Four firefighters have now lost their lives in the devastating Knowles Fire near the Colorado-Utah border, including 43-year-old Nathan Matthews from Nebraska, who died Friday from injuries sustained during a deadly “burnover” incident. Matthews was part of the Rifle Helitack crew and had been receiving treatment for severe burns, but tragically, it wasn’t enough.
