  So most problems are actually preventable and avoidable.

  So today I'm gonna give you three godly hacks to stop your problems before they
• 1:12
  start. Number one, obey God before you understand everything.

  Sometimes we're trying to figure it out. We're trying to reason with God.

  We're trying to tell him we don't wanna do it. But the Bible says in Deuteronomy 28.

  It'll come to pass if you diligently obey the voice of God, all these blessings
• 1:29
  will come on you and overtake you.
• 1:32
  Isaiah 119 says, if you're willing and obedient, you'll eat the good of the
• 1:37
  land. So what's the point?
• 1:38
  Obedience is not control, it's protection. God is not guessing.
• 1:43
  He already knows what leads to blessing, peace, provision, stability.
• 1:48
  So when he tells you to do something, it's not random, it's preventative.
• 1:53
  So when God tells you like, hey, wait sexually, what he's trying to say is watch
• 1:57
  out for disease, heartbreak, confusion.
• 1:59
  When God tells you to forgive, what he's trying to say is that way you'll avoid torment.

  You'll avoid stress and broken relationships. When God says,
• 2:08
  be honest, he wants you to avoid consequences, exposure, and shame.

  You know, how many people do we need to see y'all that they weren't honest?
• 2:17
  And their wife found out and their husband found out and that big jumbotron
• 2:20
  and the whole world found out. Like, just be honest. You could avoid a lot of
• 2:24
  problems just by being honest.

  So obedience today prevents problems tomorrow.

  Say that again, Lisa. Okay, I will. Obedience today prevents pain tomorrow.

  Hack number two, you have to understand this law.

  You are going to reap whatever you sow. Now, we don't normally say sow,
• 2:43
  but you know, if you are like a new age person or you know anything,
• 2:45
  you know that that means you're putting something in the ground.

  You can be kind to someone, you get kindness back. You can be hateful to someone,
• 2:52
  you get hatefulness back.
• 2:53
  You could be stingy to someone, you get stinginess back. Passive it, you get it.

  So Galatians 6, 7 says, don't be deceived.

  Whatever a man sows, he'll reap. Come on, say that. Whatever,
• 3:05
  whatever, whatever, whatever. It doesn't matter what it is. Whatever you sow, you're going to reap.

  And the Bible, you know, when you're doing something bad, something bad is going to come back.

  And so one way to avoid crap happening to you is to not do it to other people,

  to not sow these nasty seeds in the ground because it might not come up Monday,

  it might not come up Friday,
• 3:25
  it might not come up two weeks, but rest assured, my love, it's coming up because

  whatever you do is like a seed.

  So you ought to think about that with your words, with your actions,
• 3:35
  you know, if you're in a relationship, the way you treat people and speak kindly
• 3:39
  to people, love on people. What you sow is what you're gonna get back.

  Proverbs 13, 15 says, the way of the unfaithful is hard.

  You ever hear people say, serving God is so hard, serving God is so hard?

  That's not what the Bible says.

  When they say that to you, you ought to say, that's not what the Bible says.

  As a matter of fact, in Proverbs 13, it says the way of the unfaithful is hard.

  Isn't it funny how God says something and nobody seems to know what he says?

  Isn't it hilarious that the Bible actually tells you that the way of the unfaithful

  person is hard, but yet people will tell you serving God is hard?

  No. Serving the devil is hard. Being a drug addict is hard. Lying and cheating on your spouse is hard.

  Stealing other people's money and going to jail is hard. Raping people and getting
• 4:20
  killed is hard. Like, that's hard.
• 4:22
  Serving the devil is hard. Serving God, Jesus said, my yoke is easy. My burden is light.

  So if you want to live a problem-free every life, you've got to be careful what you sow.
• 4:33
  If you sow a bunch of garbage, it's coming back.
• 4:37
  So it's no wonder you're always in turmoil if you're sowing that to other people.

  So be careful what you do.
• 4:43
  Life isn't random. It's governed by certain laws.
• 4:46
  You know, people just think, well, it just happened to me and I don't know.
• 4:49
  But if you examine your life, you'd be like, you know what? I shouldn't have
• 4:52
  done that. I guess I did do that.

  And maybe perhaps you don't realize. So I want you to think right now, let's just take a pause.

  Take a pause. And I want you to think, have I put anything in the ground that I don't want coming up?

  Was I hateful? Did I lie? Did I slander? Did I steal?

  Did I talk bad about the pastor? What'd I do?
• 5:13
  Because whatever I do, it's coming back up. So some of y'all might need some weed killer right now.

  You might need to weed kill those, whatever seed you planted for weeds,
• 5:22
  you might need to get the weed killer out and be like, I'm sorry, Lord.

  Forgive me, God. I shouldn't have done. You better say, Father,
• 5:28
  please don't let those words come up as a harvest.

  Just repent. If you did something, just Father, I'm sorry. Maybe you need to
• 5:35
  take a minute and do that.

  All right. When you sow discipline, you get stability. When you sow chaos,
• 5:42
  you get chaos. If you sow purity, you get peace.
• 5:45
  If you sow compromise, you get consequences.
• 5:49
  So when somebody says, why does this keep happening to me?

  Well, it's because they keep sowing the same thing. You ever meet a lady,
• 5:55
  girlfriend of yours or something, if you're a girl watching or listening,
• 5:57
  and she's like, why does this keep happening to me? I keep getting the same guy.

  Well, you keep sowing the same dumb crap. You keep going to the bar to find
• 6:04
  him. What do you think you're going to find at the bar? You're not going to
• 6:07
  find a good guy at the bar.

  Why does it keep happening to me? Because he was just coming to the bar to pick

  up a little thing. He didn't want to be committed.

  That's why. You got to be careful what you sow and be careful where you go.

  You can choose your actions, but you cannot choose your harvest.

  I mean, you kind of can by your actions, but I'm just saying.

  Hack number three. Y'all ready? Ooh, we're going fast today.

  Fast, fast, super fast. All right.

  Live from the kingdom of God inside of you. Luke 17, 21. The kingdom of God is within you.

  Romans 14, 17. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

  You're not trying to live by willpower. You've got power inside of you,
• 6:51
  and the kingdom of God produces right living, peace, and joy.

  There is a kingdom culture, and you can walk in it, and you can live in it.

  The Bible says in Proverbs 14, 12, there's a way that seems right to a man, but the end is death.

  You know how some people say you can live however you want, you'll be fine.

  Well, you won't because the Bible says there's a way that seems right, but the end is death.

  God didn't give you rules to restrict you. He gave you a kingdom to empower you.

  And you might not need more discipline. You might just need to align with the kingdom of God in you.

  The Bible says, Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.

  He'll be like a tree planted by the rivers of water.

  Whatever he does will prosper.

  When you live right, your life stabilizes. Your mind clears.

  Your relationships improve. Your finances get better. Your future gets protected.

  Length of days and long life and peace I'll add to you. So holiness is not boring.

  Holiness is protection.

  Sin is not freedom. Sin is really expensive.

  Come on, you know how expensive sin is? Ask these celebrity football players

  that are making millions of dollars, but cheat on their wives.

  The wives are like, you're going to pay me.

  Ask them how expensive it is to act wrong.

  Sin costs. Sin is very expensive. You do something wrong. You want to do drugs

  and sell drugs. You pay with years of your life.

  Doing the wrong thing is very expensive. You don't want to do that. God loves you.

  So most of the problems in life can be solved by just doing these right things up front.

  If you would not sow bad seeds, you won't get a bad harvest.

  If you would obey God, you won't get messed up in life. It's so sad to me to
• 8:32
  see people going, please pray for me.

  And they're praying for money and they're, please pray, you know,
• 8:37
  we can't pay a bill. And then if you were to ask them, you know,
• 8:39
  what'd you do with your tax return?
• 8:41
  They're like, oh, we blew it all. We blew it all on this. We blew it all on
• 8:43
  that. Well, it's no wonder you can't pay anything. You're not a good steward with money.

  It doesn't matter how much you tithe. If you spend more than you make,
• 8:50
  you're going to be broke.
• 8:52
  So you have to steward your money.
• 8:53
  You have to steward the things in the kingdom of God well and right.
• 8:57
  So you have to live right. You have to sow good seed. And I'm telling you,

  God loves you. He doesn't want you confused and full of chaos and messed up.

  He wants you to be blessed. Blessed coming in, blessed coming out.

  But most of the problems that you and I have are because of these reasons.

  Most of the problems we have is because we don't do the right thing up front.

  Like I said, there's a lot of ladies I know, and they're like,

  I don't know why he's not active, why he won't come to church.

  Then you ask him, like, did he go to church when you dated?

  No, but I thought I could win him over. Okay, well, that was dumb.

  Or maybe you're a dude out there and you're dating some lady or something.
• 9:35
  And you're like, I don't know why she doesn't care about going to church.
• 9:39
  And then I'm like, well, did she go to church when you first met her?
• 9:42
  No, but I thought she'd see the good in me. No, wrong answer.

  You can't start out with some goof person. I mean, sometimes it works out,
• 9:52
  but for the most part, you go out there and you get some ungodly person. That's what you get.

  Like I tell my daughter, you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.

  Come on, you want to live right, do right, make right choices.

  And I know people like to tell you. We live by grace.

  You don't have to make good choices, but that's bull larky. That's not the truth at all.

  Yes, we live by grace, but you still have to make good choices.

  And even though you couldn't do it on your own, you couldn't do it and I couldn't
• 10:15
  do it, even though we couldn't do it on our own, the maker of the universe lives
• 10:19
  on the inside of us now and he never sinned and he did right.
• 10:22
  And so he lives on the inside of me. So now I can do right. Does that make sense?

  So you are perfectly capable of living right, doing right, because the maker
• 10:29
  of the universe is on the inside of you.

  And when you do these things, you can prevent problems up front.

  Most of people's problems can be prevented up front.

  They don't have to do this problem. They don't have to be sorrowful.

  They don't have to be hurting. They don't have to make bad choices that you got to recover from.

  Make good choices up front. Sow good seed.

  If you sow good seed, you'll be blessed. Does that make sense?

  I hope so. So in summing it up, real, real, you can talk today real quick review.

  Why is that? Because I don't want her to come crying to me, praying,

  saying, Mom, you know, he's really mean to me, and he's this.

  And it's like, you know, if the guy's not already rooted in the Word of God

  or church, you could get anything. God only knows what you can get.

  So my heart for you is that you're careful with the Word of God,
• 12:23
  and you read it, and you study it, and you get it in your heart.

  And that way, most of your problems will be cut off before they it can even get to you.

  Look, try a little experiment if you don't believe me. Go see what people are
• 12:36
  asking you to pray for. A lot of it is, I need more money.

  A lot of it is, I'm sick. And then if you look at their body,
• 12:42
  they're like 400 pounds.

  And if you're listening to me now and you're overweight, this isn't a slam on
• 12:46
  you, but your body's only meant to handle so much.

  If you're 400 pounds, your heart's overworking, your liver, your organs,
• 12:52
  your legs, your veins, nothing's working right.

  You can avoid all these health problems by not eating Twinkies every day,
• 12:59
  not getting drunk all the time, not smoking.

  There's a lot of problems that I avoid just by living clean. And you can too.

  I'm telling you, God loves you. He's on your side. He wants to bless you coming
