Tumwater is set to build a colossal three-million-gallon water reservoir to fuel city growth, especially in the southeast, while boosting firefighting capacity and long-term water security. Priced at $18 million, the project is 90% complete in design and will sit on 20 acres just outside city limits. It includes a main tank, control building, and over 5,000 feet of new pipes — with temporary traffic disruptions expected on 93rd Ave SE and Old Hwy 99.
