- 0:02Speaker 2: Thanks to Craveworthy Street Food.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Freshly made with Reburger.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Welcome to the Hauraki Big Show.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Really big.
- 0:12Speaker 3: With Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy. Oh, g'day you
- 0:17Speaker 3: mad bastards.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Great to have you company on this glorious Wednesday afternoon.
- 0:22Speaker 4: It is the 30th of September, 2026. And you, my friends,
- 0:26Speaker 4: as always, listen to The Big Show.
- 0:28Speaker 3: And that's brought to you by Re-Burger.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Crave-worthy street food, freshly made with Re-Burger.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Re-Burger.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah, great stuff.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Speaking of which, jeez.
- 0:41Speaker 4: God, I don't know about you, Keezy. I feel very,
- 0:43Speaker 4: very underdressed today. Our mogi's just, boy, next level. Next
- 0:49Speaker 4: level looking hot as his new shirt and really nicely
- 0:55Speaker 4: sort of tailored jeans and beautiful brand-new boots.
- 0:59Speaker 3: God, you're a stallion. How's life, Mogi?
- 1:01Speaker 5: Going pretty grousey, you mad dog, you sick son of
- 1:04Speaker 5: a bee. Can I say I think we're all dressed
- 1:05Speaker 5: pretty well today? As I look over to my left here,
- 1:08Speaker 5: I see Keezy is wearing one of the tightest T-shirts
- 1:12Speaker 5: anyone's ever put on.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 5: And on the front of it is a text that
- 1:17Speaker 5: says Jason Hoyt, and there's three images of Jason Hoyt
- 1:20Speaker 5: on there. I look over at you, Jase. You've got
- 1:24Speaker 5: a plaid shirt on, collared shirt. It's got two pockets,
- 1:29Speaker 5: one over each breast. It's got a button down on
- 1:34Speaker 5: the top of the pocket.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Of the breast pocket, yes.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Are you meant to iron those, or are they all good?
- 1:40Speaker 3: We don't have an iron in our house, weirdly.
- 1:42Speaker 4: But I'll be honest with you, in terms of how
- 1:44Speaker 4: I'm dressed today, I was dressing in the early hours
- 1:46Speaker 4: of the morning in the dark, trying not to wake
- 1:48Speaker 4: my wife, and I was thinking to myself, just comfort today.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I don't want to look cool like old Moogie. I
- 1:54Speaker 4: just want to just be comfortable. So that's my look today.
- 1:57Speaker 3: You look great. Thanks, mate. That t-shirt, Keezy, it's very,
- 2:02Speaker 3: very tight. G'day, fellas.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah, happy to be here today. I would say this
- 2:08Speaker 1: t-shirt is nowhere near as tight as the t-shirts Mogi
- 2:10Speaker 1: usually wears. You know what I mean? Because this is
- 2:13Speaker 1: almost like a crop top.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Well, his is almost like a third skin, isn't it?
- 2:17Speaker 1: It is, yeah. Well, a second skin. Have you got
- 2:20Speaker 1: two skins, Jase? He's got four.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Gross.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm feeling good, fellas. I've got my Hoity J shirt on.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's my wife's favourite shirt.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Is it?
- 2:29Speaker 1: She says, oh, can you wear your Hoity J shirt?
- 2:31Speaker 1: I love that shirt.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that doesn't surprise me at all.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I usually wear it as Jammies.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. That makes sense to me, Keezy. Does it?
- 2:44Speaker 3: What's happening on The Big Show with Old Mogi?
- 2:47Speaker 5: Fellas, I had almost a violent run-in with a busker
- 2:51Speaker 5: earlier on.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I'd like to be able to get to that. Also, JC,
- 2:57Speaker 5: you've got a bone to pick with somebody. We don't
- 2:59Speaker 5: know who. It's more with a group of people.
- 3:03Speaker 1: A group of people, okay.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yes, a cluster, if you will.
- 3:06Speaker 5: We'll look forward to that. Oh, Keezy, he's off to
- 3:08Speaker 5: Japan this coming weekend. He's gone for two weeks.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Two weeks.
- 3:14Speaker 5: And he's a little bit worried he's going to go
- 3:15Speaker 5: along to a Japanese sauna.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah. An onsen.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Yeah, and so he needs a little bit of advice.
- 3:20Speaker 5: I've had some pretty hairy experiences in New Zealand saunas,
- 3:23Speaker 5: so God knows what happens in the Japanese ones. We're
- 3:26Speaker 5: going to rip into that next. Old Keezy Nude there.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We're going to rip into Old Keezy Nude, are we?
- 3:33Speaker 3: Here's Blink-182.
- 3:34Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Stained.
- 3:41Speaker 4: On the Hodake Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 3:45Speaker 3: The time is 4.13.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Fellas, go on holiday this Saturday midnight there. Fly out
- 3:50Speaker 1: to Tokyo, which is in Japan, James.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Oh, I thought it was Sunday.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Well, midnight, so it's right in the middle there. Right, okay, yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And I'm really looking forward to going to Japan because
- 3:59Speaker 1: I have Japanese heritage. through my mother's side of the family,
- 4:03Speaker 1: which is pretty exciting. I've never been there. Lots of
- 4:06Speaker 1: good shopping and just an interesting culture.
- 4:08Speaker 5: You're going to go visit some family? Some whānau, I
- 4:10Speaker 5: think they call it. Yes.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Well, I can't. I could, but the problem is my great-great-grandfather, Morinosuke,
- 4:18Speaker 1: he left from a city called Mikurazaki, which is at
- 4:20Speaker 1: the very bottom of the southern island of Japan.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And it was a fishing village. It's very hard to
- 4:26Speaker 1: get to. oh yeah you could if you were keen
- 4:28Speaker 1: if I really wanted to and he'd.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Be long gone by now wouldn't he you're just.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Not into it he's dead yeah and also he moved
- 4:34Speaker 1: to New Zealand oh really hence why I'm here oh
- 4:36Speaker 1: why are you going to Japan I didn't know I
- 4:39Speaker 1: didn't know he was dead and that he had moved
- 4:41Speaker 1: to New Zealand until after I'd booked the tickets oh
- 4:43Speaker 1: right damn it but anyway that's why my attitude was
- 4:46Speaker 1: like hey let's just make the most of it while
- 4:47Speaker 1: we're here and let's turn what would have been meeting
- 4:49Speaker 1: my great great grandfather for the first time into just
- 4:52Speaker 1: a holiday yeah yeah nice But one of the things
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm a bit worried about is the onsen. Have you
- 4:58Speaker 1: ever heard of an onsen?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Yes, I have.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I've heard of it, but I'm not entirely sure what
- 5:02Speaker 5: it is, in all honesty.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So an onsen is in a lot of accommodations, hotels,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and there's also like a public bath version, is where
- 5:10Speaker 1: you cleanse your body. You sit on a little stool,
- 5:14Speaker 1: and it's separated into male and female. So my wife
- 5:16Speaker 1: will be in one, I'll be in the other.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I should hope so.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You sit on a little stool with shampoo and body
- 5:21Speaker 1: wash and a little handheld showerhead nozzle thing and you
- 5:25Speaker 1: clean your entire body. So it's a shower with a seat.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You're fully naked.
- 5:29Speaker 5: No.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You then have only a flannel with you, a modesty towel,
- 5:32Speaker 1: and you go and hop in a large hot pool
- 5:35Speaker 1: filled with hot mineral water, which is also occupied by
- 5:39Speaker 1: several other fully new Japanese men.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Hot.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it should be hot. It's meant to be a
- 5:44Speaker 1: hot spring.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Because just as a little sidebar to that, one of
- 5:50Speaker 4: the things that the Japanese find disgusting, Mogi, and that
- 5:57Speaker 4: we do in Western society, they think bathing and sitting
- 6:01Speaker 4: in your own bathing water is filthy.
- 6:03Speaker 5: That's right.
- 6:04Speaker 4: So they wash themselves before they go and bathe.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Have you been to Japan?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Yeah, many times, man.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Um, so that, that is correct, Jay. So what you're
- 6:13Speaker 1: supposed to do is clean yourself completely, then hop into
- 6:15Speaker 1: the mineral water. And then when you hop out of that,
- 6:17Speaker 1: you don't wash it off because of all the nice
- 6:18Speaker 1: minerals and stuff seeps into your skin. And then you're
- 6:21Speaker 1: supposed to be fully naked. And I've, I mean, you
- 6:23Speaker 1: guys know me, like I'm, I'm not the first guy
- 6:26Speaker 1: to just get fully naked, you know? So I'm a
- 6:28Speaker 1: bit worried about... You're not the first. Oh, I see
- 6:30Speaker 1: what you mean. Yeah, you don't like doing it. If
- 6:32Speaker 1: someone was like, oh, who wants to get fully naked?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Who wants to get there?
- 6:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I'd be like, oh, I'll go last.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Well, I guess the concern is... Well, what is the
- 6:40Speaker 5: concern for you? I don't want to put words in
- 6:42Speaker 5: your mouth.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Well, the concern for me is, Mogi, thank you, that
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't want to leave Japan having not done it
- 6:49Speaker 1: because I was too shy.
- 6:50Speaker 5: But do the locals want you to leave without having
- 6:52Speaker 5: done it?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Maybe. In hindsight?
- 6:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Maybe, but like, you know, I'm there.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Keezy.
- 6:58Speaker 5: What?
- 7:00Speaker 3: You've got a lot going on in that department.
- 7:02Speaker 1: What do you mean? Yeah, you do.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Now, this is what I was going to try and broach.
- 7:07Speaker 1: What do you mean? Well, you do nothing down there.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's a very, it's a.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Wild, wild part of New Zealand's native bush.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It's like the Catlins.
- 7:17Speaker 2: It is.
- 7:17Speaker 3: It's just, it's running absolutely wild.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Nobody has ever done any kind of landscaping down there. Um, hideous, treacherous,
- 7:27Speaker 5: treacherous place to go. And I think if you're going
- 7:30Speaker 5: to be going out naked around the locals, I think
- 7:34Speaker 5: you need to show them the appropriate amount of respect.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:39Speaker 5: And get some landscaping. You've got to do something about it, man.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I'd get some emergency mogi laser ball action.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I don't think that's going to be enough.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You need to get to the root of the cause.
- 7:51Speaker 1: The roots. And I think you're just a general... It's
- 7:56Speaker 1: just got to be less.
- 7:58Speaker 4: We've always known about you, Keezy, because you've been very
- 8:00Speaker 4: upfront about it.
- 8:01Speaker 3: About what?
- 8:01Speaker 4: That you don't like being naked in front of people,
- 8:04Speaker 4: including your wife.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Especially your wife.
- 8:07Speaker 1: She still doesn't know what I look like.
- 8:09Speaker 4: And I know that, you know, after the black clash...
- 8:14Speaker 4: when you got your top off and the whole nipple thing,
- 8:17Speaker 4: nipple gate, I guess you could call it.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 4: The great shame it was nine years. Yeah, the great
- 8:23Speaker 4: shame went viral. That you are very conscious of your sources.
- 8:29Speaker 1: But the thing is, I'm not even worried about my sources.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Is that your butter mushroom? It's the little shiitake I'm
- 8:35Speaker 1: running with the giant... With the giant... Look, well, I.
- 8:40Speaker 3: You know, but again, listen... The body is a natural thing. Totally.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I mean, yours looks freaky, let's be honest.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I've sort of got in my mind old.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Keezy sort of stumbling off his stool there and sort
- 8:59Speaker 5: of wandering into the bathing area with his big clump
- 9:04Speaker 5: of shoes on.
- 9:04Speaker 1: What are those called again?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Floaters.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Your floaters there in debt.
- 9:08Speaker 5: It's sort of like a scene out of Godzilla, you know,
- 9:10Speaker 5: and there's just the local men just being horrified and
- 9:12Speaker 5: pointing at you and running away.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Can I, just to wrap this up, my concern for you,
- 9:20Speaker 4: and Keezy needs some assurance here.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, feel free to send some through. Can you hang on,
- 9:27Speaker 1: can you take some assurance on 3483 and you're going
- 9:30Speaker 1: to draw for 50 bucks Reberger? And we'll come back
- 9:32Speaker 1: and it feels like there's a lot more to go. Yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 1: here's some bullish.
- 9:40Speaker 2: The Horaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 9:44Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Horaki.
- 9:46Speaker 4: The Strokes there on the Horaki Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 9:50Speaker 4: The time is 4.27 and old Keezy's opened a massive
- 9:54Speaker 4: can of worms here.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Well, I'm going to Japan at the weekend, fellas. two
- 10:00Speaker 1: weeks part of their culture is an onsen which is
- 10:03Speaker 1: like a giant hot tub situation at most accommodation places
- 10:05Speaker 1: you'll go to where you and all the other blokes
- 10:08Speaker 1: sit there completely nude In the hot spring waters.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 1: And I really want to try, but I am a
- 10:15Speaker 1: bit nervous.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Self-conscious.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So for some reason, we've asked the audience to text
- 10:20Speaker 1: through sort of reassurances on 3483.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Well, yes, totally, man.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Just reassurance. Just little things that you can keep in
- 10:28Speaker 5: the back of your mind when you're standing there.
- 10:30Speaker 1: When I'm standing there deciding whether or not I should
- 10:32Speaker 1: go in, I'll just think of this. The body is natural.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yes.
- 10:37Speaker 1: But every now and then, nature has a bullseye.
- 10:39Speaker 3: That's true.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Hmm.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That's true. That doesn't really help me, though. You know
- 10:43Speaker 1: what I mean? This is good from Dean. You'll be okay, Keezy.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You don't speak Japanese. You won't know what they're saying. Oh,
- 10:52Speaker 1: you'll get the gist, though.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Humiliation is a universal language, and you will, by the
- 10:58Speaker 5: end of that experience, Keezy, be fluent.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah, and it'll be very hard not to tell by
- 11:02Speaker 3: the look on their faces.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Um.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Keezy's body reminds me of a sock full of batteries.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Weird shape, but still hot. They won't see the mushrooms
- 11:18Speaker 1: for the gorse.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Or the mushroom, I hope.
- 11:25Speaker 4: And I'm with all these listeners, by the way, Keezy.
- 11:29Speaker 4: The body is a natural thing. And you shouldn't be self-conscious.
- 11:32Speaker 4: You know, you're a young man, and just be proud
- 11:35Speaker 4: of your body.
- 11:35Speaker 3: The one concern I have.
- 11:38Speaker 4: And that Mogi mentioned is your massive bush.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And.
- 11:45Speaker 3: But... But the reason... I'm not being silly here. Okay, good.
- 11:51Speaker 4: My concern is that when you hop into the hot tub,
- 11:55Speaker 4: you're going to be naturally buoyant.
- 12:00Speaker 3: And that.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And my head will probably go under because my lower half.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Is going up. It'll just go up because there's... And
- 12:06Speaker 3: I'll be struggling. It is such.
- 12:09Speaker 4: A cavalcade of stuff going on there that, yeah, it'll
- 12:12Speaker 4: be like a buoy or a life jacket.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Well, you know what I could do while I'm over
- 12:18Speaker 1: there is find like a bonsai master and get him
- 12:24Speaker 1: to just, you know, shape it into a... Something presentable.
- 12:31Speaker 5: I mean.
- 12:33Speaker 3: What?
- 12:33Speaker 1: What's up, man?
- 12:34Speaker 3: No, no, I'm just.
- 12:39Speaker 3: So what are you, I mean, are you feeling better
- 12:41Speaker 3: about it is my question.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't see how I wouldn't be feeling better.
- 12:44Speaker 5: You know, the only, I guess the thing is, the
- 12:47Speaker 5: only other thing that you could really do is get
- 12:49Speaker 5: yourself into a state that you can be proud of,
- 12:52Speaker 5: you know.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I've only got four days.
- 12:54Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 12:58Speaker 2: in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I think I'll have myself a beer.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Big show.
- 13:08Speaker 2: The Radio Hodaki Big Show. Name our beer.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yes, indeed.
- 13:12Speaker 4: We've teamed up with our mates at Emerson Brewery. They've
- 13:16Speaker 4: created a tropical pale hazy, what is it? Tropical pale
- 13:21Speaker 4: hazy ale.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Oh, so close. That's it, man. It's an ale hazy,
- 13:26Speaker 1: pale tropical. Tropical. It's a tropical hazy pale ale. It's
- 13:30Speaker 1: to celebrate the 2026 Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival,
- 13:33Speaker 1: which we're going to be going down to. Can't bloody wait.
- 13:35Speaker 1: It's happening tomorrow. Later on in November, Saturday the 28th
- 13:38Speaker 1: and Friday the 27th, Forsyth Bar Stadium. Tickets at dunedinbfs.co.nz.
- 13:43Speaker 1: But for the entire month of September, we have been
- 13:45Speaker 1: taking suggestions on 3483 as to what we should name
- 13:49Speaker 1: this special tropical hazy pale ale. So many texts on 3483.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And keep them coming because we've got a whole heap
- 13:55Speaker 1: of those Emerson's hoodies left over that we're going to
- 13:57Speaker 1: send out. Yes. So 3483 if you think of a name.
- 14:00Speaker 1: But fellas... They put together a wee list here, and
- 14:03Speaker 1: they're going to send our favourites off and see if
- 14:05Speaker 1: they get approved by legal.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Bloody legal, eh?
- 14:08Speaker 5: We had trouble last time, didn't we? We did something
- 14:10Speaker 5: like this, and sort of the top 18 were scratched.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Because of the filth content. It was all filth. But
- 14:17Speaker 1: I don't think we'll have that trouble this year.
- 14:18Speaker 3: No, I don't think so.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Overall, Mogi, 95% were scrapped for that very reason.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I think there was only one left. Is that right?
- 14:25Speaker 3: There might have been one left.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 1: So I think they've cleaned things up a lot this year,
- 14:30Speaker 1: so I'll just run through some of them, and you
- 14:32Speaker 1: guys tell me whether or not you think they'll be approved,
- 14:34Speaker 1: all right? Jase's hazy jizz.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Well, I mean, come on.
- 14:40Speaker 1: All right, that's fine. That's good.
- 14:41Speaker 5: That's up there, yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yes.
- 14:43Speaker 5: What are we thinking? Will legal have a problem with this?
- 14:46Speaker 1: I think that one's fine. That's fine, eh? Okay, well,
- 14:48Speaker 1: hang on. Okay, that one's fine. Hazy areola grande. Yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Ingle beer humper drink.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Oh!
- 15:01Speaker 1: That's fine. We're onto something there.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so.
- 15:04Speaker 1: The hazy midnight steamer. I think you can get that passed.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I think the vast majority of people wouldn't because they'd
- 15:12Speaker 5: have to listen to the show and know that it's
- 15:14Speaker 5: you doing it.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That's right.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Midnight steamer, the atrocity, yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 1: That one's fine. Cold frothy jizz. What do we think
- 15:26Speaker 1: about that one, fellas?
- 15:27Speaker 3: I think that'll be touch and go, if I'm honest
- 15:28Speaker 3: with you.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I think touch and go is the right way to
- 15:31Speaker 1: put it.
- 15:32Speaker 4: But I think if you word it correctly with those guys,
- 15:35Speaker 4: it'll be fine.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Okay, cool. All right, there's a lot more here too,
- 15:40Speaker 1: so we'll just keep going through them. Turn that brown
- 15:42Speaker 1: upside down.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I like that.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's no problem with legal anyway. Okay, sweet as...
- 15:49Speaker 1: Two and a half hazies. That's fine. Yep. That's fine.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Taking care of jizzness.
- 15:55Speaker 3: That's very good. That's very clever.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Very good, is it?
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I don't know what it's got to do with the
- 16:00Speaker 1: name of a beer, but I like it.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Well, you know, you're having a beer, you're taking care
- 16:04Speaker 3: of jizzness.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Oh, totally. When you put it like that.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Now I get it. Now I understand. Keezy on all
- 16:11Speaker 1: fours sharing a bed with 20 dudes in Clevedon with me,
- 16:14Speaker 1: Keezy Tropical Pale Ale. Well, there's your winner. Yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Well, no, it's not the winner. No problems there.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So you're happy for me to submit? That's just some
- 16:22Speaker 1: of them. Submit all those to legal. We'll just see
- 16:24Speaker 1: how we get on.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, man.
- 16:26Speaker 5: God, we've got some smart listeners out there.
- 16:27Speaker 3: There we go. Clever, clever.
- 16:29Speaker 1: 3483, it's your last day. We've got a whole heap
- 16:31Speaker 1: of Emerson's hoodies to send out. If you've got a
- 16:33Speaker 1: good name for it.
- 16:34Speaker 3: In the meantime, here's Foo Fighters.
- 16:37Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 16:41Speaker 4: REM there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 16:45Speaker 4: The time is 4.49. Fellas, let's talk TV. What's on
- 16:50Speaker 4: the telly with Mike Minogue.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah!
- 16:58Speaker 3: That's right.
- 16:59Speaker 5: That was a little bit boring for me, I'm afraid.
- 17:01Speaker 5: I've just been ploughing on with my old made-alone TVNZ Plus,
- 17:05Speaker 5: 13 seasons of it. People are stranded out in the
- 17:07Speaker 5: middle of nowhere. The last person out there gets half
- 17:10Speaker 5: a million bucks.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Just chipping away, man, chipping away.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's good stuff.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I was actually just on that real quick, Jase. Came
- 17:17Speaker 1: home last night, my wife was watching Masterchef. Oh, yes. Australia.
- 17:22Speaker 1: which is such a, I don't know, like, my mum
- 17:25Speaker 1: watches MasterChef, and your mum watches MasterChef.
- 17:27Speaker 3: We used to love it back in the day.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Totally, but then there's been like 50 billion seasons now,
- 17:31Speaker 1: so I don't care anymore. Yes. But, so she was
- 17:34Speaker 1: sitting there watching that, and the delicious food and stuff,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and I was just like, this is terrible, because they
- 17:37Speaker 1: were making pork or something, it wasn't mint, but I
- 17:41Speaker 1: was just sitting there the whole time going, this is
- 17:42Speaker 1: making me really hungry, and really not want the dinner
- 17:44Speaker 1: that I have made. Yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 3: What was the dinner you had?
- 17:50Speaker 1: It was a homemade pie. Oh, yeah, how was it? Delicious.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Yeah, good.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Thank you. What did you watch, Jase?
- 17:57Speaker 3: Fellas, I was carrying on. This is very odd.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I was watching, carrying on with the Lizzie Borden story.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:05Speaker 4: The fourth series, a series called Monsters, and it's sort
- 18:09Speaker 4: of focusing on real-life serial killers, but dramatised. And we
- 18:14Speaker 4: started the fourth episode, and forgive me for this, I
- 18:17Speaker 4: hope one of you might know the name of the person,
- 18:20Speaker 4: but it started off with the story of the serial killer,
- 18:25Speaker 4: the female serial killer, portrayed by Charlize Theron.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Can you remember what her name was?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Eileen something.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Eileen something, yeah, yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 4: So the fourth episode started off with her and telling
- 18:38Speaker 4: her story. And my wife and I were like, what
- 18:41Speaker 4: the bloody hell is going on? Why has it suddenly
- 18:44Speaker 4: jumped to her story in the middle of the other story?
- 18:48Speaker 4: And so we sort of went back and checked and
- 18:51Speaker 4: then we fast forwarded and we.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Realized that this went for about 15 or 20 minutes,
- 18:55Speaker 3: her story.
- 18:58Speaker 4: And it turns out that her partner in that crime
- 19:03Speaker 4: was reading the story of Lizzie Borden to her.
- 19:07Speaker 3: And so then it.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Jumped back to the Lizzie Borden story once they started
- 19:12Speaker 4: reading from the book. But it was very off-putting and
- 19:15Speaker 4: sort of what the hell's going on type thing. But,
- 19:18Speaker 4: you know, still enjoying it, still good performances. This is
- 19:22Speaker 4: the episode of the actual killings, I guess you would say.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Oh, jeez. It's hyper-violent.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't need it.
- 19:30Speaker 4: So if you don't like violence, you don't like blood
- 19:33Speaker 4: and guts, please.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Don't watch this show.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But you're enjoying it.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I'm enjoying the performances. I'm not enjoying the gore. Yeah, right. Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I don't like watching that murder stuff.
- 19:46Speaker 4: No.
- 19:46Speaker 1: It's mean. It's mean. It's mean. It makes me feel bad. Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It makes me feel sad, you know? Monsters, that's on Netflix.
- 19:53Speaker 1: How many buzzies out of five?
- 19:57Speaker 3: I've dropped it down to a 3.2 buzzies.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:59Speaker 3: All right.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Good to know.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Ah, the Stone Temple Pilots, fellas. I'm fired up for that.
- 20:09Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 20:12Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Welcome back, you massive backbones. Hope you're surviving your hump day.
- 20:18Speaker 4: You're listening to The Big Show, incidentally, brought to you
- 20:20Speaker 4: by ReBurger.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet eats that'll change the game.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Ah, that's really quite yummy.
- 20:28Speaker 4: I'll tell you what's really lovely, actually, fellas, with the
- 20:31Speaker 4: weather changing. It's good to see people out and about
- 20:33Speaker 4: again out the windows. It really is.
- 20:36Speaker 3: It's like a ghost town over winter, isn't it?
- 20:38Speaker 4: No one sort of goes back and forth, and it's
- 20:41Speaker 4: nice to see all the people out there enjoying the sun,
- 20:44Speaker 4: enjoying the weather, enjoying the extra light at the end
- 20:47Speaker 4: of the day.
- 20:48Speaker 5: Well, all I can see is one guy sitting on
- 20:50Speaker 5: a bench, doom-scrolling, and sucking on a vape.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Is that what you mean?
- 20:55Speaker 5: What?
- 20:56Speaker 3: I find myself, you know, sort of drawn to him
- 20:59Speaker 3: for some reason. I can relate. You know what I'm saying?
- 21:02Speaker 4: But just in general, I mean, just people going back
- 21:07Speaker 4: and forth.
- 21:07Speaker 1: You're happy it's spring because you're happy to be perving
- 21:10Speaker 1: out the window again is what you're saying, all right? Yes.
- 21:13Speaker 1: We get it, man. You love it. It's fine. I
- 21:17Speaker 1: just went and bought some chips. You did. Went out
- 21:19Speaker 1: in public with my Hoity J shirt on because I'm
- 21:21Speaker 1: wearing a Jason Hoyt shirt today with three pictures of
- 21:24Speaker 1: Jase's face on it. one young fellow was clearly coming
- 21:28Speaker 1: back from the gym, looked at my shirt, looked at me,
- 21:31Speaker 1: started laughing. So I think he was like, that's a
- 21:33Speaker 1: cool shirt. Yeah, I think so. That's a good sign.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Can I say, Keezy, it's fiercely tight. We were talking
- 21:40Speaker 4: about it at the top of the show. I mean,
- 21:42Speaker 4: it is really grabbing hold there.
- 21:45Speaker 1: But, you know, because they only come in small, extra small,
- 21:50Speaker 1: or extra, extra small for some reason.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Yeah. Female sizes.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Or.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Or.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:57Speaker 1: What?
- 21:57Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Is that sexist?
- 22:00Speaker 3: No, because I'm talking about, you know.
- 22:02Speaker 1: What, all females are smaller, are they? Is that true? God,
- 22:05Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to be saying that on the radio.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Jeez.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Here's Arctic Monkeys.
- 22:10Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 22:14Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Lenny Kravitz there on the Hodaki Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 22:20Speaker 4: The time is 10 minutes past 5 o'clock.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Fellas, I got into a little bit of a tete-a-tete,
- 22:26Speaker 5: I guess you could say, Jase.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yes.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Fisty cuffs, a melee. It didn't quite come to blows,
- 22:32Speaker 5: but it was, jeez.
- 22:34Speaker 3: On the precipice.
- 22:35Speaker 5: On the precipice of the year. I was down in
- 22:39Speaker 5: Commercial Bay, which is an area in Auckland not far
- 22:41Speaker 5: from an office that I frequent. And there was a
- 22:47Speaker 5: homeless person there, a person in need.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Yes.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Now, I've got a rule that I don't give money
- 22:53Speaker 5: to anyone.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Ever.
- 22:55Speaker 5: However, this particular human being had a dog, and that
- 23:01Speaker 5: really tugged at my heartstrings there.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Which is probably a method used.
- 23:06Speaker 5: To sucker me in there. Anyway, I reached into my pocket,
- 23:12Speaker 5: and all I had was a $ 50 note, and I thought, no, no,
- 23:16Speaker 5: maybe not that much. I looked around, there was nothing
- 23:19Speaker 5: else in my wallet, but I looked around and there
- 23:20Speaker 5: was a busker there and I thought, well, why don't
- 23:22Speaker 5: I just go to the busker and I'll get change
- 23:25Speaker 5: from the busker.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Because there was like an open sort of violin case
- 23:31Speaker 5: there and just help myself to the change there and
- 23:34Speaker 5: then I could give the money to the homeless person.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So I did that. Anyway, next thing you know, absolutely
- 23:40Speaker 1: blown up.
- 23:40Speaker 5: What are you doing? Get your hands out of there,
- 23:42Speaker 5: all that sort of thing. Am I in the wrong there?
- 23:44Speaker 1: Did you... Did you ask first?
- 23:47Speaker 5: No.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Right, so you walked up holding a 50. Yeah. And
- 23:51Speaker 1: did you gesture and say, I'm just going to swap this?
- 23:53Speaker 5: Well, no, because she was playing violin and singing and
- 23:58Speaker 5: she had her eyes closed. Oh, wow.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So I just thought, well, I'll just get in there.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, just get it done.
- 24:04Speaker 1: So she opens her eyes and you're rummaging around in
- 24:06Speaker 1: her violin case.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Yes.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Well, I mean, just breaking his fitty.
- 24:12Speaker 5: I'm breaking my fitty. And I said to her, I said,
- 24:14Speaker 5: I'm just breaking a fitty. Actually, that's not true. I said,
- 24:19Speaker 5: first I said, break a fitty? But she couldn't hear me.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 24:23Speaker 5: And then she opened her eyes and she saw me like,
- 24:25Speaker 5: what are you doing? Breaking a fitty.
- 24:27Speaker 1: So she continued to play the violin?
- 24:30Speaker 5: She did until she saw me doing that. And I said,
- 24:32Speaker 5: I'm just breaking a fitty. And so she was, yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 5: fuming about it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Did you take away $ 45 worth and leave a $ 5
- 24:39Speaker 1: tip as like a thanks for letting me break a fitty?
- 24:42Speaker 1: Pay her to break a fitty?
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 5: No. Who pays someone to break a fitty? Least of
- 24:49Speaker 5: all a busker.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Right, okay.
- 24:50Speaker 3: And a busker playing a violin.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I don't see what that's got to do with it.
- 24:54Speaker 4: I mean, they're everywhere in the CBD, Keezy.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Violin players.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Violinists. That's her? Have you seen her?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Yes, I have.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Terrible.
- 25:05Speaker 4: And I know the woman you're referring to too, Ree
- 25:07Speaker 4: the dog. Yeah, no, that's all G.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought so.
- 25:11Speaker 3: You know, I don't know what her problem was, to
- 25:13Speaker 3: be honest with you.
- 25:14Speaker 1: So once you broke the fitty, did you manage to
- 25:16Speaker 1: break it? Well, no, there's sort of been that.
- 25:18Speaker 5: I ended up with about $ 84 because she confused me
- 25:24Speaker 5: when I was counting.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 4: And I bet you, I bet you it was all
- 25:29Speaker 4: in coins too.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Of course it was. Yeah.
- 25:31Speaker 3: That's annoying.
- 25:33Speaker 1: And did you leave the 50 with her? Did you
- 25:35Speaker 1: leave the 50 in the case?
- 25:36Speaker 3: No.
- 25:38Speaker 4: No.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Right, so you took $ 30- something of coins out of the
- 25:41Speaker 1: case and didn't leave the $ 50.
- 25:42Speaker 5: No, I took $ 80- something worth of coins. And you kept
- 25:45Speaker 5: the $ 50.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah, well, it's annoying having to deal with all those coins.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Why should he leave $ 50?
- 25:50Speaker 3: And then I gave $ 2 to the homeless dog. Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 1: So it all evens out.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Tell the world works, Keezy.
- 25:58Speaker 1: No, no, but how did the dog... Because you probably
- 26:01Speaker 1: have to give it to the owner of the dog.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Oh, no, I don't trust them, but it'll all go
- 26:04Speaker 5: on drugs.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yeah, right, okay, but the.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Was the dog wearing a fanny pack or something? Could
- 26:10Speaker 1: it put the coins away?
- 26:13Speaker 5: Well, that's up to the dog.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Can't tell a dog how to spend the money, Keezy.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you can lead a dog to shelter, but you
- 26:20Speaker 1: can't make it something. Actually, you might write that down.
- 26:25Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 26:29Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Oasis there on the Hodaki Big Show this glorious Wednesday afternoon.
- 26:36Speaker 3: The time is 5.35.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Fellas, we've been running a competition called Big Deck Energy.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Yes.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It's with our friends at tradetester.co.nz. They're giving away two
- 26:46Speaker 1: and a half grand's worth of kit for your outdoor area,
- 26:48Speaker 1: your backyard, whatever it might be, every Friday. We've been
- 26:52Speaker 1: doing it. It's been great. We've given away a whole
- 26:54Speaker 1: lot of stuff so far. The way you enter is
- 26:56Speaker 1: you head to tradetester.co.nz. You put together a shopping list,
- 27:00Speaker 1: screenshot it, upload it at hodaki.co.nz, and then we call
- 27:05Speaker 1: a winner every Friday. Man. Another one this Friday as well,
- 27:08Speaker 1: which is cool. I've got a few examples of some
- 27:11Speaker 1: orders that have been put together here. One person has
- 27:16Speaker 1: selected a roof system, a louvered roof system. I like that.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Two meters by three.
- 27:21Speaker 5: So you're in your bedroom there, and instead of having
- 27:23Speaker 5: a normal roof, it's louvered.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Right?
- 27:26Speaker 1: So you can open it up, look at the stars.
- 27:28Speaker 3: No, no.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Whatever you want.
- 27:29Speaker 3: That's lovely.
- 27:29Speaker 5: For me, I would have it if my Tui was
- 27:32Speaker 5: up there, that Tui bastard was up there, and I
- 27:34Speaker 5: could open the louvers.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And grab it. Yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I got you. Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 1: That's what he'd say when he grabs it.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I got you. I got you.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You little bastard. No, it's actually a louver system for
- 27:46Speaker 1: your outdoor area. It's two meters by three meters, so
- 27:50Speaker 1: you could be out there. If it's sunny, you open
- 27:52Speaker 1: the louvers. Agree to disagree. Or you could use it
- 27:56Speaker 1: to catch a tui and replace the roof on your bedroom.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I don't know. Up to you. They've also gone for
- 28:00Speaker 1: a pack of 10 composite deck tiles in mocha, right?
- 28:06Speaker 1: But they've made that two packs. So if they'd done
- 28:08Speaker 1: one pack of 10, it would have come in under
- 28:09Speaker 1: two and a half grand, but they made it two
- 28:11Speaker 1: packs of 10. So now it's over 2,600. You know
- 28:14Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 28:15Speaker 3: They're blowing it. They're blowing it. They got greed, people.
- 28:19Speaker 3: It's greed.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Do you think they've accidentally pushed plus twice?
- 28:23Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I was thinking, actually. So I reckon
- 28:25Speaker 3: we should let them through.
- 28:26Speaker 1: They knew what they were doing.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I think we should let them through, Keezy.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Jase?
- 28:32Speaker 5: Fine.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I will, okay?
- 28:33Speaker 5: Oh, I'm not happy with that.
- 28:35Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 28:37Speaker 5: Well, then we have to let everybody else through that
- 28:39Speaker 5: doesn't follow the rules, Casey.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Well, see, I'm stuck between a honker and a hard
- 28:42Speaker 1: place here because either way, one of you isn't happy.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Oh, man, look, I'll still be able to get a
- 28:47Speaker 5: terrible sleep tonight regardless.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Okay, well, that's all that matters. Yeah, totally. This person
- 28:51Speaker 1: here has got a very interesting shopping list. So they've
- 28:54Speaker 1: put themselves down for a solar panel, a folding 100-watt
- 28:58Speaker 1: solar panel, right?
- 29:00Speaker 5: Yes.
- 29:00Speaker 1: That's $ 400. Premium smart control home and car washing system.
- 29:05Speaker 1: like water blaster and stuff so you can clean the,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you know, like.
- 29:08Speaker 3: A water blaster house.
- 29:09Speaker 1: What about a hose? Yeah, hose. It's $ 1, 000. It's got hoses.
- 29:13Speaker 1: It's got all sorts of stuff to clean everything. A
- 29:17Speaker 1: portable power station.
- 29:20Speaker 3: What does that mean? It means like a sun.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Like a small sun that you can use to charge
- 29:25Speaker 1: up other stuff.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 3: That's handy.
- 29:28Speaker 1: It's portable. Two sawhorses and a wooden raised garden bed.
- 29:32Speaker 5: That's good, isn't it? Two sawhorses. Often you only have
- 29:36Speaker 5: the one sawhorse, but you don't want the first sawhorse
- 29:39Speaker 5: getting lonely, so he's got... two.
- 29:40Speaker 3: And they do, and they like companionship.
- 29:42Speaker 5: They do, and they deserve companionship.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't want a single sawhorse in your house.
- 29:47Speaker 3: They'd be a miserable bastard.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Well, you wouldn't keep it in your house. They'd turn
- 29:49Speaker 1: into a blue horse, yeah. You wouldn't keep it in
- 29:51Speaker 1: your house. You'd keep it in there.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Well, yeah, sorry, out in the paddock.
- 29:55Speaker 1: A sawhorse... Moping around the bastard. Yeah, put a jacket
- 29:59Speaker 1: on it in winter. Hey, but if you would like
- 30:01Speaker 1: to win.
- 30:02Speaker 3: That's just silly, Keith.
- 30:04Speaker 1: If you would like to win... Why would you say that?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Two and a half grand's worth.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 30:08Speaker 1: If you'd like to win two and a half grand's
- 30:10Speaker 1: worth of stuff, head to tradetested.co.nz, put together a shopping list,
- 30:13Speaker 1: upload it at hodaki.co.nz, and we could be calling you
- 30:17Speaker 1: this very Friday, fellas.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Good stuff, mate. In the meantime, here's Guns... Roses.
- 30:27Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 30:31Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Ramones here on the Hauraki Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 30:37Speaker 3: The time is 5.46. You all right, Mikey? You seem
- 30:39Speaker 3: like you're fuming a little bit there.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Family, man. I don't know.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Oh, don't get me started. You can't pick your family, Keezy.
- 30:48Speaker 5: That's what they say.
- 30:49Speaker 1: That's true, man. Has something been bugging you?
- 30:53Speaker 5: Well, I'm just curious more than anything. I know how
- 30:55Speaker 5: you like playing that. You can play it if you like.
- 31:02Speaker 5: So we were meant to have some family come and
- 31:05Speaker 5: stay with us.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Oh, lovely.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Just overnight, sort of break up their trip as they
- 31:10Speaker 5: were heading back down to Wellington there. I don't want
- 31:13Speaker 5: to get too specific, but it was my cousin Nick
- 31:16Speaker 5: and his wife and their two kids.
- 31:17Speaker 1: What's her name?
- 31:19Speaker 5: I can't remember, to be honest.
- 31:22Speaker 3: So you're close.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Yeah. And so then there's the two kids.
- 31:27Speaker 5: The two kids are young, about six and four-ish, coming
- 31:30Speaker 5: up four-ish sort of thing. So nice for my daughter
- 31:32Speaker 5: to spend some time. Anyway, we were trying to avoid
- 31:35Speaker 5: this at all costs because it's a pain in the
- 31:37Speaker 5: ass when you have people come and stay for one
- 31:39Speaker 5: night because you've got to make up four beds, you've
- 31:41Speaker 5: got to find blankets, and then you've got to clean
- 31:44Speaker 5: everything the next day. So we were trying to make
- 31:46Speaker 5: it so that they would just stay somewhere else, like
- 31:49Speaker 5: a hotel or whatever.
- 31:51Speaker 1: But my wife.
- 31:52Speaker 5: Insisted and so did they.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Oh, that's annoying. God damn it.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Anyway, so we clean the whole house, which is not
- 32:00Speaker 5: what we like to do, make it look all tickety-boo,
- 32:03Speaker 5: like it's a hotel, you know, like we always live
- 32:05Speaker 5: like that.
- 32:05Speaker 1: The usual, the usual.
- 32:06Speaker 3: The sort of thing you'd see in the spread of
- 32:08Speaker 3: house and garden.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Exactly right. You're just about to have a photo shoot.
- 32:11Speaker 5: It's like Keezy's house with him and his missus just
- 32:13Speaker 5: about to be in a centrefold. God, that was a facade,
- 32:17Speaker 5: wasn't it?
- 32:18Speaker 1: Sorry, centrefold. Do you mean Women's Day? I was on
- 32:21Speaker 1: Women's Day.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Anyway, today they're meant to turn up at lunchtime. We
- 32:23Speaker 5: get a phone call or a text, I should say. 11.30,
- 32:26Speaker 5: we're not coming.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Well, hang on, you haven't heard why yet. It
- 32:31Speaker 1: might be believable. Well, is there a good enough reason? Well, yeah,
- 32:34Speaker 1: I mean, their car might have broken down.
- 32:37Speaker 5: Well, it hadn't because their car was parked outside the
- 32:39Speaker 5: front of our house.
- 32:40Speaker 1: That doesn't make any, what? Well, they've been on Waiheke Island.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Oh.
- 32:44Speaker 5: So anyway, it turns out one of their daughters was
- 32:47Speaker 5: really sick. And so they said that they didn't want
- 32:50Speaker 5: to stay with us. Oh, well, there you go, in
- 32:52Speaker 5: case it makes you guys sick.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Excuse me?
- 32:56Speaker 1: I decide. Right, it just seems that them not making
- 33:02Speaker 1: you sick and your family and your daughter is the
- 33:05Speaker 1: right call. You're saying that I would have got sick? No,
- 33:09Speaker 1: obviously not. I can't guarantee you would or would not
- 33:11Speaker 1: have gotten sick, but why risk it? To get the biscuit.
- 33:14Speaker 5: Well, I guess we're never going to know.
- 33:16Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 33:17Speaker 5: It just felt to me like it was a little
- 33:18Speaker 5: bit taken for granted, Jase.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Yeah, especially when you've gone out of your way like that.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Well, no, he tried to make them get a hotel.
- 33:26Speaker 1: And all he'd done was tidy his house. Well, what
- 33:27Speaker 1: would you have done in that situation? Well, I would
- 33:31Speaker 1: have tidied the house like you. And then when I
- 33:33Speaker 1: got the text, I would have been like, oh, no,
- 33:35Speaker 1: sorry to hear that Harry or whatever the daughter's name
- 33:38Speaker 1: is sick.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Harry? Who calls their daughter Harry?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Keezy? Keezy? I was just, I don't know, and then
- 33:45Speaker 1: I would have said, no worries. Maybe next time I
- 33:47Speaker 1: would have said.
- 33:49Speaker 3: And then he would have gone, just me and you tonight, darling.
- 33:53Speaker 1: And then she would have said, yeah, like every night
- 33:55Speaker 1: for the last 15 years. And then I would have
- 33:58Speaker 1: been like, oh yeah.
- 34:01Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 34:04Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Welcome back, you massive backbones. Hope your Wednesday night's absolutely
- 34:10Speaker 4: going off. You're listening to The Big Show brought to
- 34:13Speaker 4: you by Reburger.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Beef, chicken, vegan and vegetarian options. Reburger are redefining the norm.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Reburger. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.
- 34:23Speaker 5: Reburger.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Diddlyumptious.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Reburger.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Reburger.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Reburger.
- 34:29Speaker 4: The other thing, Mogi, about your family cancelling their stay
- 34:34Speaker 4: tonight is no doubt you've prepared a magnificent feast for them.
- 34:39Speaker 3: And now what are you going to do with all
- 34:40Speaker 3: that food?
- 34:41Speaker 1: Well, there's that as well.
- 34:43Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 34:43Speaker 5: There's that as well because my wife had to, she
- 34:46Speaker 5: picked up a late contracting job. And so she said,
- 34:49Speaker 5: I'm going to be working late last night. No dinner
- 34:52Speaker 5: for you when you get home. You're going to forget it.
- 34:53Speaker 5: I said, that's fine, my love. I'll sort it out
- 34:56Speaker 5: when I get home. How would you like fish and
- 34:58Speaker 5: chips out of the freezer.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Oh, like frozen fish.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Frozen fish and some frozen chips there on Mogi. Old
- 35:07Speaker 5: Mogi will sort it out for you. What do you
- 35:08Speaker 5: think about that? She's like, oh, well, actually, I thought
- 35:11Speaker 5: I'd save that for tomorrow night when your family turns up.
- 35:15Speaker 5: And so I saved it, especially for them. Yeah.
- 35:19Speaker 4: And now.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Oh, it's a shame because you're really rolling out the
- 35:22Speaker 1: red carpet by the sounds of it.
- 35:23Speaker 3: I know.
- 35:24Speaker 4: And just to think, Keezy, I mean, generally everything that
- 35:26Speaker 4: comes out of the freezer is frozen.
- 35:30Speaker 1: You'll find that, man.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Hey, Keezy.
- 35:33Speaker 1: What's up, man?
- 35:34Speaker 4: Because I love knowing what old Keezy's having for dinner.
- 35:39Speaker 4: What are you having for dinner tonight at your joint?
- 35:43Speaker 1: So I messaged my wife and I said. What does
- 35:46Speaker 1: it say? Hang on. What does it say?
- 35:48Speaker 3: Hang on. For what?
- 35:50Speaker 1: So I messaged my wife being like, hey, we don't
- 35:53Speaker 1: have a dinner planned tonight. What do you feel like?
- 35:55Speaker 1: And then she said, I feel like yams for some reason.
- 36:00Speaker 1: She loves yams. You've got to break up with her.
- 36:02Speaker 3: My God, Keezy.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Without a word of a lie, we had yams last night. Jase.
- 36:10Speaker 4: It's been 10 years since we've had yams.
- 36:13Speaker 3: In fact, when my wife was serving it, I was like,
- 36:16Speaker 3: what the hell are those?
- 36:17Speaker 1: And what did she say?
- 36:18Speaker 3: Yams. Wow. True story.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I said, are yams in season? She thumbs it up.
- 36:25Speaker 1: And then she said, what about couscous bowl with yams, pumpkin, halloumi,
- 36:29Speaker 1: and spinach? And I said, absolutely, my love. But what
- 36:34Speaker 1: she doesn't know is that I want to throw mine
- 36:35Speaker 1: in the bin and get the frozen fish out of
- 36:37Speaker 1: the freezer instead.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Pumpkin, man.
- 36:39Speaker 5: What's happening with pumpkin?
- 36:40Speaker 1: Pumpkin's delicious.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Jase, what are you having?
- 36:42Speaker 4: Homemade butter chicken pie. Really?
- 36:46Speaker 3: It sounds yum. Yeah.
- 36:47Speaker 1: You're going to put sauce on it?
- 36:48Speaker 3: Which is funny because my daughter doesn't eat pies.
- 36:51Speaker 5: That is funny, isn't it?
- 36:53Speaker 1: That's hilarious. Wait, wait.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Is it?
- 36:54Speaker 1: No, I'm cracking up. Wait, is it?
- 36:57Speaker 3: Wait, is it?
- 36:58Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 37:02Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Faith no more on the Hodaki Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 37:08Speaker 4: The time is 6.13, which means it's time for Dishwasher Chat.
- 37:19Speaker 5: You've done something with your hair, Jase. You look like a,
- 37:21Speaker 5: what is it there, a chump.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Fellas, what's up, chump?
- 37:30Speaker 3: True story, this.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Two days in a row, I've emptied our dishwasher and
- 37:36Speaker 4: it's been dirty both times.
- 37:38Speaker 1: You know what that means, don't you? Oh, is it broken?
- 37:40Speaker 1: Is it not washing them properly?
- 37:42Speaker 3: No, it hasn't been on. They've been full to the gunnels. Yeah,
- 37:45Speaker 3: I bet.
- 37:45Speaker 4: It's been full to the gunnels, you know, and we're
- 37:48Speaker 4: heavy rinsers. So it's very hard to tell if something's
- 37:52Speaker 4: been washed. And two days in a row, I've got
- 37:55Speaker 4: down to literally like the last bowl in the dishwasher
- 37:59Speaker 4: and gone, hang about, has this even been through yet?
- 38:04Speaker 5: Traditionally what time of day are you putting your wash through?
- 38:06Speaker 5: Do you have a time of day that traditionally it
- 38:08Speaker 5: goes on?
- 38:09Speaker 3: Generally, Mogie, at the end of the day. I agree.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Before we go to bed.
- 38:13Speaker 1: See?
- 38:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:15Speaker 4: And it's so infuriating because then you have to go
- 38:19Speaker 4: back and get all the stuff that you put away
- 38:22Speaker 4: and it's like, oh God, was that in the wash
- 38:26Speaker 4: or was that not in the wash?
- 38:27Speaker 3: Has that been washed?
- 38:29Speaker 1: See, my wife and I have different policies when it
- 38:32Speaker 1: comes to rinsing. I'll give it a quick splash with
- 38:35Speaker 1: hot water under the tap, but I like to leave
- 38:37Speaker 1: some for the dishwasher to do. So you're clearly rinsing
- 38:41Speaker 1: so much. Well, I am a big rinser as well
- 38:46Speaker 1: because you want the dishwasher to do the cleaning. But
- 38:50Speaker 1: the rinsing is a separate job. If you're in a
- 38:53Speaker 1: restaurant and you're on the dishes, it's your job to
- 38:55Speaker 1: get rid of all the stuff on top of it
- 38:56Speaker 1: and then it gets a clean after that. So the
- 39:00Speaker 1: reason why I make sure that all the debris is
- 39:02Speaker 1: removed from the plate is otherwise you end up at
- 39:04Speaker 1: a dinner party and your dishwasher is all clogged up
- 39:09Speaker 1: And you have to take it apart to get it
- 39:10Speaker 1: to work.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Yeah, to make it function again.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Well, it's funny you say that, Mogi, and you're hinting
- 39:14Speaker 1: at the fact that I had to do that recently.
- 39:15Speaker 1: The cause was actually the kitchen downpipe that it's plumbed into.
- 39:20Speaker 1: It wasn't the dishwasher. Because my wife said the same thing.
- 39:23Speaker 1: She said, well, if you rinsed more.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Yeah, she's got a point.
- 39:26Speaker 1: So she's done you there. ah has she that's all
- 39:29Speaker 1: G but it was actually plunging the sink that fixed
- 39:33Speaker 1: it Yes. In a motion like this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, plundering. Yeah, plundering.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Plundering it.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I was sort of doing this.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Oh, is that what you're doing?
- 39:44Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I mean, I don't know if I would
- 39:46Speaker 4: just classify myself as a heavy rinser, but certainly I
- 39:50Speaker 4: like to get the scum off.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Yes, the scum, I agree.
- 39:54Speaker 3: And then put it into the dishwasher. So then all
- 39:57Speaker 3: the dishwasher's doing is, in effect, cleansing and.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Degrossing your dishes.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Yeah, degrossing.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That's the thing. You're plundering and degrossing.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Can I say, Jase, it sounds to me like you
- 40:10Speaker 5: need to put a canary in the coal mine. I
- 40:13Speaker 5: think you need to have a bowl or a cup
- 40:16Speaker 5: that you put in there, and then when that's dirty,
- 40:19Speaker 5: when you put it in there, and then you check
- 40:20Speaker 5: that first.
- 40:21Speaker 1: If it's clean, you know you're good.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good plan, actually.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Because I don't need someone of your age hitting their 40s,
- 40:27Speaker 5: all of a sudden they're empty and dirty dishwashers, you know?
- 40:30Speaker 3: Did my head in, man.
- 40:31Speaker 5: You look like you're mad.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Oh, well, yes. And, you know, it's not a great
- 40:36Speaker 3: way to start the day, I'll be honest with you.
- 40:38Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 40:39Speaker 1: Absolutely futile.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Effing and jeffing at, you know, 7.30 in the morning, Keezy.
- 40:45Speaker 1: To be honest, Jase, I mean, when we were at
- 40:47Speaker 1: your place for your dinner party.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Your wife told me that you got all the clothes
- 40:52Speaker 1: out of the washing machine and then folded them and
- 40:54Speaker 1: put them all away.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:56Speaker 1: And they were all soiled. Yeah.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Yeah, that's hot, though, isn't it?
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah. She said, that explains why Hoity J always, she said,
- 41:05Speaker 1: have you noticed he always stinks at work? And I
- 41:06Speaker 1: was like, yes. Yes.
- 41:09Speaker 2: The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 41:12Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.
- 41:15Speaker 4: Pearl Jam there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this
- 41:18Speaker 4: Wednesday night.
- 41:19Speaker 3: The time is 6.27.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Fellas, have you heard of Chasing the Fox?
- 41:23Speaker 3: Yes.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, we've been to it. Yeah, we have.
- 41:26Speaker 1: A few times.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Had a bit of a smack last time, didn't we?
- 41:28Speaker 1: We did, actually. We got to play the same course beforehand,
- 41:33Speaker 1: before all the big celebs and that played.
- 41:35Speaker 4: Yes.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Far too good for us, for the likes of us.
- 41:39Speaker 1: From recollection, we had a shocker. A very hard course.
- 41:41Speaker 1: But it's happening again. It is December 11th. It's happening
- 41:45Speaker 1: at Royal Auckland and Grange, which is a very fancy
- 41:48Speaker 1: course here in Auckland. I don't feel comfortable there. It's
- 41:50Speaker 1: too fancy for me. But Ryan Fox, he's coming home
- 41:54Speaker 1: after the biggest win of his career. And we here
- 41:56Speaker 1: at Hauraki are giving listeners a chance to fly with
- 41:59Speaker 1: a friend to see him play live at Chasing the Fox,
- 42:02Speaker 1: brought to you by Kiwi Bank. Great prize.
- 42:04Speaker 3: It is a really great prize. And genuinely, it's a
- 42:07Speaker 3: really good day out, isn't it, fellas?
- 42:08Speaker 5: As a matter of fact, I remember the fellas that
- 42:11Speaker 5: won it last year there. I think he was actually
- 42:15Speaker 5: a greenkeeper somewhere else around the country.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Actually, that rings a bell.
- 42:18Speaker 5: They absolutely enjoyed themselves.
- 42:21Speaker 4: And if you love your golf, I mean, it's great
- 42:24Speaker 4: to just have a- Even if you don't. Yeah, even
- 42:25Speaker 4: if you don't, because there's all sorts of stalls and
- 42:27Speaker 4: stuff going on. Isn't old Foxy, isn't he a legend?
- 42:32Speaker 1: He is.
- 42:33Speaker 3: He's a lovely fella.
- 42:34Speaker 1: He's great, and I would like to see him, but
- 42:36Speaker 1: to be honest, for me, it's the stalls.
- 42:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, last time I was here, there was
- 42:40Speaker 5: a Coconut Shy. You know, you throw a baseball and
- 42:45Speaker 5: if you knock off the coconut, you get to keep it.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:48Speaker 5: That's one of my favourite stalls.
- 42:50Speaker 4: I think my favourite one was the clowns with the
- 42:54Speaker 4: ping pong balls.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a great stall.
- 43:01Speaker 1: But, of course, there's amazing celebs and big names and
- 43:04Speaker 1: sporting people going head-to-head. But the stalls. But the stalls, though.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Holy cow. But fly you to the Fox. The prize
- 43:11Speaker 1: is cool, the competition. Fly you to the Fox. Flights
- 43:14Speaker 1: from anywhere in New Zealand to Auckland, hotel, tickets to
- 43:17Speaker 1: Kiwi Bank Chasing the Fox. If you're keen to enter,
- 43:20Speaker 1: hodaki.co.nz and let Hodaki fly you to the Fox.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Hopefully we get another whack on it because it's one
- 43:28Speaker 4: of those courses where even the fairways are like greens.
- 43:32Speaker 4: It's so beautifully manicured that it's just stunning.
- 43:37Speaker 1: It's interesting, isn't it?
- 43:38Speaker 5: Because you can say a course is difficult, but I
- 43:40Speaker 5: find the hardest thing, Of all is hitting the ball straight.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Yes.
- 43:44Speaker 5: So if you hit the ball straight, the course becomes
- 43:46Speaker 5: a bit easier, I'd imagine.
- 43:48Speaker 3: That's true.
- 43:48Speaker 1: But I'm not quite there yet.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 1: But to be honest, even Ryan Fox in past years
- 43:53Speaker 1: has struggled around it. Yeah. Although last year he said
- 43:56Speaker 1: that the reason was that he kept getting distracted by
- 43:58Speaker 1: the stalls. Oh, yeah, the stall. Yeah, he spotted the
- 44:01Speaker 1: one where you throw a ball at a target and
- 44:04Speaker 1: then a fella falls into a tank of water.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a doozy, that one.
- 44:09Speaker 5: In terms of stalls, that's right up there.
- 44:13Speaker 1: What's your favourite stall in New Zealand?
- 44:15Speaker 2: The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune
- 44:19Speaker 2: in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hodaki.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Do you ever picture people just switching off?
- 44:43Speaker 1: Like that coming on after a great song and then
- 44:45Speaker 1: them just switching the stereo off? No, never. I do.
- 44:48Speaker 4: Now, we do a bonus podcast. It's called The Disclaimer,
- 44:56Speaker 4: where we just shoot the breeze, don't we, fellas?
- 44:59Speaker 3: We shoot the breeze.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Certainly do. Doosh, doosh, doo-doo. Today's clip's called Desperesee, and
- 45:05Speaker 1: I don't remember what it's about, but here you go.
- 45:07Speaker 1: It comes out at 7.30 tonight.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Doo-doo, doo-doo.
- 45:10Speaker 1: No, but I'm keen, though, Jase. Have you put me forward, man?
- 45:12Speaker 3: Yeah, well, actually....
- 45:15Speaker 1: Like this thing you were filming today. That must be
- 45:17Speaker 1: running out of actors.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Yes, and I said, there's this young fella, old Keezy.
- 45:22Speaker 1: He's got a mate, Pugsan.
- 45:23Speaker 4: And he's got a mate called Pugsan who works in
- 45:25Speaker 4: Studio B, and he's just a natural talent.
- 45:28Speaker 3: I'll send you some vids through.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Get him, get him, get him, get him.
- 45:36Speaker 1: It's good stuff, fellas. Do you like that one, Gigi? Yeah, man,
- 45:38Speaker 1: it's good. So Pugs has selected a bit where it's
- 45:43Speaker 1: them saying that Pugs is really great. Where we're big
- 45:46Speaker 1: up in them.
- 45:47Speaker 3: He's loving that.
- 45:47Speaker 1: He's like, get that on the wireless, man. Make the
- 45:49Speaker 1: most of it, yeah.
- 45:51Speaker 4: Now, listen, obviously you're... That evening has changed somewhat, Mogi.
- 45:57Speaker 4: So maybe a quiet one for you tonight instead of
- 45:59Speaker 4: your family coming over.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess so, man. I guess so.
- 46:03Speaker 5: We'll just have to sit down and have a meeting
- 46:05Speaker 5: with the wife and we're just going to have to
- 46:07Speaker 5: come to grips with, I don't know.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Get to grips and we'll come to terms? Come to grips.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Come to grips.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Have you not heard of that?
- 46:14Speaker 3: Nah.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Come to grips. I don't know if I could.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Wait.
- 46:19Speaker 1: You could. Depends who's gripping.
- 46:23Speaker 4: Keezy?
- 46:25Speaker 5: What's up, man?
- 46:26Speaker 3: What are your plans, man?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Having yams.
- 46:30Speaker 3: I'm so disappointed with that.
- 46:32Speaker 1: And then my wife will go to bed at some stage.
- 46:34Speaker 3: You're going to go for a walk for your digestion?
- 46:36Speaker 1: We'll go for a walk for my digestion after dinner there.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Did you have one last night? Did. How far did
- 46:40Speaker 1: you go? Around the block. Don't know. I've never measured it,
- 46:44Speaker 1: but it was lovely. Really nice.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 46:47Speaker 1: And then she'll go to bed at some point, and
- 46:48Speaker 1: then I'll probably go online with the fellas. And then, yeah.
- 46:54Speaker 1: What are you up to, Jase?
- 46:56Speaker 3: It's funny, actually.
- 46:57Speaker 1: If you start another one, it's funny, actually, and then
- 46:59Speaker 1: bang on about something that isn't funny.
- 47:02Speaker 4: No, because my wife just only just now texted me
- 47:05Speaker 4: to say, oh, and by the way, one of our
- 47:07Speaker 4: daughter's friends is also coming over tonight, and they're going
- 47:11Speaker 4: out on the town.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure they say that now, but will it happen?
- 47:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:14Speaker 3: They'll let you down, man. Yeah, they'll probably call and cancel.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Say they've got a cold or something.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Bloody terrible. That is funny. So.
- 47:24Speaker 4: We'll see how that turns out. I mean, regardless of
- 47:29Speaker 4: whether she comes or not, my wife and I will
- 47:32Speaker 4: probably have a just... Actually, because the weather's the way
- 47:36Speaker 4: it is and we're getting those extra daylight hours, I
- 47:38Speaker 4: think that... definitely go for a walk tonight that's so
- 47:41Speaker 4: cool often because at this time of night normally it's
- 47:43Speaker 4: raining and it's a bit cold a bit dark but
- 47:46Speaker 4: we'll still go out and get some you know
- 47:48Speaker 1: See you tomorrow at four bye
