  back-to-back winner. Lost the crown last year to a

  non Bangor management Big Nate and this year I guess listen,

  the crowns coming back home. But who will get it?

  That is the big question. But how did your semifinals go?

  Because I feel like, I mean, mine was a roller coaster and a

  half. I know yours was a little bit

  more safe, but it's still obviously you're always stressed

  about everything. Right.

  Yeah, it was, it was brutal. It was, it was not as crazy as

  yours. But what happened was, is that

  us three were hanging out during the day yesterday and Chesterton

  was playing and then I got home and basically had Chester and

  gone to shut out, it would have been really, really bad. 30

  my 17th round pick, it was not on my team anymore.

  He still gets the win, which was bad, but like the shutout would

  that game. I went to the gym in the middle

  I'm like peeking at the score and I'm like Tuner is my matchup

  guys. I've been losing my match up

  like the whole week. I did not lead once.

  If anything like on Monday my opponent got a short handed

  rest of the games, but he died game really costing me.

  So it was just like an uphill battle the whole week.

  I'm just rocking with him, but it was an uphill battle And then

  I'm like, OK, finally I'm least I'm going to have my goalie

  percentage. I might have even tied wins just

  with grieves alone. Lo and behold, 30 going into the

  third period, just 10 minutes left is 30.

  I go for a run. I come back, I see is 3/3 in

  overtime. I'm like what the bleep happened

  And then of course they lose in the shootout.

  So I lose save percentage. I don't tie wins.

  And then my opponent has a D Smith going and it looks like

  he's gonna get a shout out the whole the whole game.

  I don't do I get into the D Smith shenanigans because that

  was like the. Yeah, yeah, You'll go into it in

  a second. But just to finish off what

  happened with me is that then because of this win from Swamin,

  OK, So he got two wins. He was losing wins and then he

  got the win. Swamin Oh like on was on my
• 4:46
  opponents team. He overtook wins and then I was
• 4:48
  like, alright, I'm absolutely cooked.

  And then it basically came down to if he got two more assists,

  he would have won. He needed, yeah, your opponent

  needed Timo Sanheim and the Borak Dvorak to combine for two.

  Assists were too limited. Jackie from the playoffs, pretty

  much. So isn't it six win super down

  I saw that it was going to come down to that overtime between

  Dallas and Philly. And I'm like, this is gonna be 5

  minutes of time just to see what happens.

  Like I do see, you know, as much as I like to just check out like

  I'm done some limited, I still care, especially if you guys in

  it. So I'm like, I'm going to watch

  this over time and see what happens.

  And because like, I mean, and I point you pretty much had made

  it. The only way he could lose was

  but at the beginning I was just like, I needed a break.

  I'm just gonna go for a skater cause I had to flip points as

  well. So I picked up Taylor Hall who

  ended up like not doing anything for me.

  But then he has Desmith. And it comes down to that.

  Like first of all, I needed to flip points and hold on to save

  percentage. So the whole time I was like, I

  like a worry for me because Graves had been doing so well.

  And then I'm just watching this Dallas game, guys.

  And then we're watching like jury duty on the TV.

  But I just keep like peeking at my phone and picking out like

  Like it's too stressful. But I do have the game on my

  monitor and just like keep peeking around when I can.

  And then it goes like, I thought it was over 3 minutes left in

  And D Smith was my save percentage was .917 and his save

  So I don't watch it. Then I peak and I see 30 seconds

  Like I am not a religious person, but after last night, I

  somebody was watching for me. I've never seen a more beautiful

  have ever won the league. I mean, I've finished, I

  finished second numerous times. It's usually either like Josh

  had that streak because it's only been like 5 years that were

  all in the league together and Josh won the first three years

  and I think he will. You beat, you beat me in the

  finals once, you beat Jake in the finals once and then.

  Twice. Yeah, you be drinking the finals

  twice, and the year that he beat Jake in the finals, he beat me

  in the semifinals. So it's like I have to go

  through Justin final. So it was it was a tough run of

  years. And then last year I made the

  finals again versus a non Bangor management team and then they

  ended up beating me. So like a lot of second places

  out here and it feels bad. But now finally in the finals

  again. I mean, listen, I was there last

  year. I'm basically the Edmonton

  Oilers just keep getting there and and not getting it done.

  So maybe this is the year, but it'll be fun to the fact that

  like I mean, Jake has been the year in the little bit longer

  like a short term fix but not a long term solution type of coach

  not been of this caliber at all. And he's basically being gifted

  a playoff berth. I mean, it would be hilarious in

  Vegas misses the playoffs after they changed their coach like

  that. But from what I'm seeing, like

  Bruce Cassidy just did not have the confidence of the team

  to change because his voice was a resonating with the team.

  I think another team is gonna be blessed with Cassidy as a coach.

  To be honest. It's kind of reminiscing of a

  reminiscent of like when Jim Montgomery got fired and then

  And what do we feel about the these Vegas assets?

  Because Vegas has been in a deep slump.

  You know, a lot of their fantasy assets have been dry AF.

  He's on my list. He's there with Rod and, you

  in the season and he's not gonna have enough time to mess around

  bump, regardless of who the coach is.

  And since they've been so bad, it can literally only go up from

  here. The only thing I can see may be

  happening, and I don't think this is going to happen, is if

  he decides to like tweak power play 1 and maybe like swap one

  of the forwards there with like a Theodore just to shake things

  up. But in general, I think it could

  only be good for because when you're playing so poorly and you

  get that new coach bump it, you only have up to go.

  Perhaps someone who will be very adversely affected is Dora Phev,

  just cause he has a very offensive just it's like a super

  deployment I would be quite worried about after going into

  the playoffs just because if he's a very offensive minded

  player, he's great at offence. That's why so good for fantasy.

  But into the playoffs, that's kind of someone I feel like may

  get the short end of the stick. As far as Tortorella goes and

  maybe Marner, I well know Mariners are really good

  defensive forward actually, so maybe this will be a boost for

  him. So, but don't worry, I'm not no,

  no karma coming for me because I genuinely believe that that's

  it's not going to affect him in the very near term.

  And I would still just treated as an on a matchup by matchup

  basis. I don't think he becomes some

  sort of must pick up. I do think the team could get

  that new coach bump. That's such an abstract concept

  that I'm not willing to bank my championship week on it.
