- 0:39Speaker 1: mood sometimes watching the show, and I shouldn't let it
- 0:42Speaker 1: affect me that way because it's literally a TLC program,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but I do, and I have my feelings about it.
- 0:49Speaker 1: So I one hundred percent understand people having opinions and

- 2:53Speaker 1: by the way, what we are taking speak pipes? Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and I should explain that. Yeah, what is that speak pie.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's like a website or something like that. You go
- 3:02Speaker 1: to the website, click and the click clack clack, speak
- 3:06Speaker 1: dot com slash, reality TV cringe, and then you can
- 3:11Speaker 1: leave a message. You can do it on your phone.
- 3:13Speaker 3: You just hit the little mic thing ninety seconds free,
- 3:17Speaker 3: totally free, and.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Then you can tell us what you think, leave a message. Yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and that's what the following people have done. And we're
- 3:24Speaker 1: going to hear them out, and.
- 3:26Speaker 3: We have a lot of them, raise them.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We're gonna comment. Yes, I have had three drinks.
- 3:32Speaker 3: No, you've had three SIPs three SIPs of one drinks.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Of one drink. And I haven't had a drink since Thanksgiving.
- 3:38Speaker 3: There's skinny lunches and I.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Was very sick last yes, very sick last week. So
- 3:44Speaker 1: who knows how the alcohol is affecting me? So I
- 3:47Speaker 1: am not responsible for anything I say. Which is the
- 3:50Speaker 1: best kind of podcast we can do. Hey, ladies, love
- 3:53Speaker 1: your pod.
- 3:54Speaker 4: This is Tanya calling from a raccoon dumpster here in Houston,
- 3:58Speaker 4: Texas that you guys did a double episode to talk
- 4:02Speaker 4: about the absolute dumpster fire that is Sister Wives this season.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I'm over it. I'm tired of it. Christine and David,
- 4:13Speaker 4: I'm happy for them. I do think they'll go the distance.
- 4:17Speaker 5: But yeah, we.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Already saw the wedding. We don't need we don't need
- 4:19Speaker 4: to see the rest move on. Robin and Cody piss
- 4:26Speaker 4: me off. I'm tired of it. Unfortunately, with all these lawsuits,
- 4:30Speaker 4: I don't think they're going to get their comeupance. I
- 4:31Speaker 4: think they will ride off into the sunset into their
- 4:34Speaker 4: two million dollar home. However, because they're so horrible with money,
- 4:38Speaker 4: I think they will go bankrupt and lose everything, and
- 4:40Speaker 4: Robin will eventually leave him, and I am there to
- 4:43Speaker 4: watch that one hundred percent. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll
- 4:46Speaker 4: be until maybe five years from now when the show's
- 4:49Speaker 4: over and we'll just see it in a tabloid. But
- 4:53Speaker 4: I want to speak on Janelle and what you ladies
- 4:57Speaker 4: think about it. Like her talking about she had the
- 5:02Speaker 4: finances were her responsibility as far as seeing what was
- 5:06Speaker 4: going in and out. So you're telling me that she
- 5:08Speaker 4: saw all of the art being bought and everything, And
- 5:11Speaker 4: this makes me lose a little respect for Janelle. I
- 5:13Speaker 4: don't think she's as savvy as we all thought she was.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Maybe in polygamy world she is, but in the real
- 5:18Speaker 4: world she was kind of dumb.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You're dumb. She was kind of dumb.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I mean, oh, I think she maybe sent another one.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Okay, I loved where she was going with that too.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Let's keep on raccoon.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Tanya here again from Houston. I got cut off. I
- 5:34Speaker 4: just can't. Ninety seconds isn't enough for the foolishness that
- 5:37Speaker 4: is this show. The other thing I wanted to say,
- 5:40Speaker 4: I think with Christine always comparing David to Cody, I
- 5:45Speaker 4: think that's the producers. Do I think that Christine has
- 5:48Speaker 4: gotten over Cody and everything he did to her and
- 5:51Speaker 4: is in a healthy relationship with David. No, I do not,
- 5:54Speaker 4: But I do think that it's the producers. I think
- 5:57Speaker 4: the producers ask her things and she starts to say
- 5:59Speaker 4: things about David and how wonderful he is and blah
- 6:02Speaker 4: blah blah, and it's just not controversial enough for them,
- 6:04Speaker 4: and so then they're like, well, did Cody do that?
- 6:07Speaker 4: And then she's like, no, Cody, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I think the producers are making her compare Whenever she
- 6:14Speaker 4: starts talking about David, they throw in, well did Cody
- 6:17Speaker 4: do that? And then it looks like she is not
- 6:20Speaker 4: over Cody because she's always comparing him. Does she do
- 6:23Speaker 4: it on her own a little bit? I think so,
- 6:24Speaker 4: because yeah, she does like to dig get Cody, but
- 6:26Speaker 4: I don't think she is constantly comparing Cody to David.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I think the producers are encouraging that foolishness, and like
- 6:36Speaker 4: y'all said, I don't care about that. I would like
- 6:39Speaker 4: to see Cody react to his children crying and the
- 6:44Speaker 4: foolishness that he has left in their life, Like when
- 6:47Speaker 4: Isabelle was crying, that was absolutely heartbreaking, and why can't
- 6:51Speaker 4: we get Cody responding to that, Like they do not
- 6:53Speaker 4: hold him to any kind of accountability none. Anyway, this
- 6:59Speaker 4: week is probably going to be another shit show. Can't
- 7:01Speaker 4: wait to hear you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Wow? Yeah, lots of good points there, what'd you think?
- 7:06Speaker 3: I totally agree that Janelle was totally dumb. Yeah, with
- 7:09Speaker 3: the finances. I'm like, if you were seeing all of
- 7:10Speaker 3: this shit, why didn't you speak up? Why didn't you
- 7:13Speaker 3: do anything about it? Like you're a fucking Taurus, Like
- 7:16Speaker 3: use your bull, like speak up and call it out.
- 7:19Speaker 3: But I mean, Janelle said a couple episodes ago she
- 7:22Speaker 3: wasn't actually in control of the money. She was just
- 7:24Speaker 3: the bookkeeper and she would, you know, drink a whole
- 7:27Speaker 3: bottle of wine while she tallied everything up and send
- 7:30Speaker 3: it to the accountant. So maybe she was just in denial,
- 7:33Speaker 3: but it's like, still, you were seeing this all happen,
- 7:36Speaker 3: and you are directly affected by this, and arguably you're
- 7:39Speaker 3: the one with the shittiest end of the stick here,
- 7:43Speaker 3: like you have no assets, you have no money, Like
- 7:45Speaker 3: that sucks. You could have done something about it much sooner.
- 7:49Speaker 3: So that was dumb.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I agree with that, and let me just comment on that.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I think though, that it's not just dumbness. And I
- 7:59Speaker 1: also think that we have to include Mary here because
- 8:02Speaker 1: at least with Mary, she would be invited into the McMansion,
- 8:06Speaker 1: so she had an opportunity to really see what was
- 8:10Speaker 1: going on. She saw the Amethys crystal wings, she saw
- 8:14Speaker 1: the artwork, she saw the appointments, she saw that Dickenziean village.
- 8:19Speaker 1: But she saw everything, and she's savvy. She is a
- 8:23Speaker 1: good business woman, as she said in this last episode,
- 8:25Speaker 1: like she has an eye for this kind of thing.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So she would have clocked all of it. And I
- 8:31Speaker 1: think Janelle definitely clocked all of it. It's not like
- 8:34Speaker 1: she was just oblivious and didn't understand where this money
- 8:38Speaker 1: was going. I think Janelle knew exactly what was happening.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And I think all of this really speaks to the
- 8:45Speaker 1: pervasive disempowerment of the women who feel that they can't
- 8:51Speaker 1: say anything and that they have to always subject themselves
- 8:55Speaker 1: to the purview of the man. At the end of
- 8:57Speaker 1: the day, Cody gets the final say yep. And so
- 9:01Speaker 1: even though Janelle likes to tell us that she didn't
- 9:03Speaker 1: sign up for the patriarchy, she actually did, oh for sure,
- 9:07Speaker 1: and she was complicit in the reign of the patriarchy,
- 9:12Speaker 1: and she knew full well was going on. And she's
- 9:14Speaker 1: just tipping her hand a little bit when she says
- 9:16Speaker 1: stuff like, well, I saw where the money went, we
- 9:18Speaker 1: didn't need to pay all that.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yep.
- 9:19Speaker 1: She's just tipping her scent her hand just a little bit.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I think she could say a whole lot more. But
- 9:24Speaker 1: more importantly, she could have done a whole lot more,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and so could have Mary. I don't blame Christine for this,
- 9:30Speaker 1: because I don't think she was invited over.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I think she was aware of how much it was.
- 9:34Speaker 3: She was just mad of all the time Cody was.
- 9:37Speaker 1: She was more jealous and maybe covetous of the time
- 9:40Speaker 1: and the negligence. She was upset about that, but she
- 9:42Speaker 1: probably knew also, which is why she insisted that only
- 9:46Speaker 1: her name was on her house. She was thinking, honey, oh, yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: she been knowing. These women are dumb. Yeah, but at
- 9:51Speaker 1: the same time they're not that dumb.
- 9:53Speaker 3: No, And Cody is also an abusive piece of shit,
- 9:56Speaker 3: and he was totally manipulating all of these women into
- 9:58Speaker 3: agreeing to all of the shit. Yes, and you know,
- 10:01Speaker 3: manipulating them in the sense of like, no, like I
- 10:04Speaker 3: don't favor Robin. No, we're not mishandling the funds, like
- 10:07Speaker 3: everybody's getting an equal share. And now we're seeing with
- 10:11Speaker 3: the Coyote past stuff being paid off and all that,
- 10:13Speaker 3: like we're seeing it wasn't ever equal, right, So yeah,
- 10:18Speaker 3: good points there, And then she was talking about Christine.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And Christine and the fact that we were sort of
- 10:23Speaker 1: bringing up how Christine constantly referring back to Cody was
- 10:28Speaker 1: a sign of her trauma and like also maybe evidence
- 10:31Speaker 1: that she's still kind of hung up on him. And
- 10:34Speaker 1: she's saying she thinks it's more the producers, and we
- 10:36Speaker 1: had actually we just recorded the recap a little while ago,
- 10:38Speaker 1: and we actually said to ourselves it is probably the
- 10:42Speaker 1: producers asking her to compare her experience, for example, wedding
- 10:46Speaker 1: dress shopping, like what happened in her marriage to Cody.
- 10:49Speaker 1: She would not have necessarily brought it up on her own.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But at the same time, I think it's a mix. Yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I think the producers are trying to get her to
- 10:55Speaker 1: comment on that, but I also think she's feeling some
- 10:59Speaker 1: of that herself.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah. An Tania did also mention that she thinks that
- 11:03Speaker 3: Cody or Christine and David will be in it for
- 11:06Speaker 3: the long haul, which I mean, I can see it
- 11:07Speaker 3: and I think so too. They're older, like they know
- 11:10Speaker 3: what they want, and I mean, like who wants to
- 11:12Speaker 3: get divorced again? Like right, Like, so, yeah, I think
- 11:15Speaker 3: they're in it for the long haul, and I agree
- 11:17Speaker 3: with all your points.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Tanya, she's a smart raccoon.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Let me tell you, she's a very smart raccoon.
- 11:21Speaker 1: He's Houston raccoons. Yep, they're lit. Oh yeah, liddy, lack
- 11:24Speaker 1: a titty.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Just like you're right now, he sits.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Next one.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Next one is from Isla or Ala. Sorry if I'm
- 11:31Speaker 3: mispronouncing that.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Okay, ladies, Hi, this is Ala Raccoon. I'm calling from
- 11:37Speaker 5: the US Virgin Islands. I just want to say, first
- 11:41Speaker 5: of all, I love you guys. Just finished watching the
- 11:44Speaker 5: episode this week, and I cannot with Cody crying to marry.
- 11:50Speaker 5: That whole thing is he's just crying because of his pride.
- 11:55Speaker 5: He even though he says he's not in love with
- 11:57Speaker 5: these women, he can't imagine how they're not in love
- 12:00Speaker 5: with him. And I think that's why he's upset. It's
- 12:04Speaker 5: not anything to do with realizing that he failed. But
- 12:08Speaker 5: I mean, you see this again with him going on
- 12:10Speaker 5: and on about not being included at Savannah's graduation party.
- 12:14Speaker 5: But yet did he even call her to say, you know, congratulations,
- 12:18Speaker 5: happy graduation, like I'm proud of you. Probably not. And
- 12:24Speaker 5: I've also just wanted to say, oh, we noticed that
- 12:27Speaker 5: some of these new interviews with Mary look like they're
- 12:30Speaker 5: more recent.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So that's, you know, maybe good sign.
- 12:33Speaker 5: But all of the OG wives have aged so beautifully,
- 12:37Speaker 5: whereas Robin I feel like it's the opposite. I feel
- 12:40Speaker 5: like maybe her insids are coming to the surface because
- 12:42Speaker 5: she's just getting less attractive as she ages. And I
- 12:46Speaker 5: hate to comment on someone's looks, but during the scene
- 12:49Speaker 5: with Mary and her and Cody, when they were sitting
- 12:52Speaker 5: at the table talking about how the property had been divided,
- 12:55Speaker 5: and it went to her you know self interview, and
- 12:58Speaker 5: she was just basically being like, oh, I have no idea.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Cody just came home and said told us this is
- 13:02Speaker 5: how it was, and it's like you could tell she
- 13:04Speaker 5: was lying. And I just I really hope that Mary
- 13:08Speaker 5: and Janelle, you know, get lawyers and get what they deserve,
- 13:11Speaker 5: because those two are definitely trying to pull one over
- 13:13Speaker 5: on them.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Agreed, And I will talk about Robin's looks. I know
- 13:19Speaker 3: is not aging well. I mean, she's younger than all
- 13:21Speaker 3: of the other wives, and she looks old. Sorry, wow,
- 13:25Speaker 3: I'm just saying.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Agist, look I mean, and may say something funky on
- 13:30Speaker 1: the WhatsApp, you send me a little Grandma emoji so rude, dude,
- 13:34Speaker 1: so aged, but like, I mean, yeah, and we talk
- 13:39Speaker 1: about how the body keeps the score, and we talk
- 13:42Speaker 1: about how the innards they rise to the surface. Yeah,
- 13:46Speaker 1: and they come out your poores and they change the
- 13:49Speaker 1: landscape of your physicality yep. And so with Robin you
- 13:53Speaker 1: can kind of I mean, everything is just you pushed out.
- 13:58Speaker 1: That is a quote from the Great Neville and so
- 14:00Speaker 1: like what's being pushed out with Robin? I mean we're
- 14:04Speaker 1: just seeing kind of the quality of the type of
- 14:06Speaker 1: person that she is. I want to talk about, though,
- 14:09Speaker 1: the sobbing of Cody, because I didn't watch episode twelve
- 14:14Speaker 1: last week. I watched it today and I was like
- 14:17Speaker 1: so unhappy to start that episode with a continuation of
- 14:22Speaker 1: Cody's sobbing and performing and tap dancing for his life
- 14:27Speaker 1: yep on tap Dancing with the Brocass Stars. And I
- 14:30Speaker 1: was just like, oh my god, stop, nobody believes you.
- 14:34Speaker 1: But I do think that while he isn't acknowledging his failure,
- 14:42Speaker 1: he is sensing his loss.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It's like with a toddler, you put him in time
- 14:47Speaker 1: out and they sit there and they cry, and they're
- 14:50Speaker 1: crying because they've lost something, They've lost the ability to
- 14:53Speaker 1: be in the middle of the living room and make
- 14:54Speaker 1: your life a living out.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Right, So they're not doing what they want to do
- 14:57Speaker 1: and having all the things they want to have, and
- 14:59Speaker 1: now they're being from that, and so that's a loss
- 15:01Speaker 1: that they're feeling and they're crying about it. I think
- 15:04Speaker 1: that's what's happening with Cody personally.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I think it's a mix. Like I
- 15:07Speaker 3: think when AILA's saying that it's out of pride, I
- 15:09Speaker 3: think that that's partially true. I think it's pride from
- 15:12Speaker 3: his failure and like feeling like, man, I really kind
- 15:14Speaker 3: of fucked up, but I'm gonna cry about it.
- 15:16Speaker 1: But he's still he's not acknowledging that consciously, right.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Not at all. I think it's like I think that
- 15:21Speaker 3: you can suppress your emotions enough, but they will eventually
- 15:25Speaker 3: bubble up, and they'll bubble up in some weird ways,
- 15:28Speaker 3: like with Cody, he will deflect and he'll blame everybody else,
- 15:32Speaker 3: but like, deep down, like you can't avoid the magnitude
- 15:35Speaker 3: of your failures. You can't avoid the fact that you
- 15:38Speaker 3: broke up your entire family and it's all on your shoulders.
- 15:40Speaker 3: And you also can't avoid the reality that everybody in
- 15:43Speaker 3: the fucking world hates your guts and thinks you and
- 15:45Speaker 3: your wife are the worst people imaginable. So like, you
- 15:49Speaker 3: can sit here and go to your gun shows, you
- 15:51Speaker 3: can buy your two point one million dollar meon shit,
- 15:53Speaker 3: but you can't. You can't escape that reality. So I
- 15:56Speaker 3: think in that moment with Mary, like he's feeling a
- 15:59Speaker 3: sense of pride, like he lost a lot, like he
- 16:03Speaker 3: did fail. He's not going to acknowledge that. He's never
- 16:05Speaker 3: going to admit that he's a failure ever. But I mean,
- 16:09Speaker 3: I also think he's feeling a bit of a loss,
- 16:12Speaker 3: like it's Mary, the first wife he ever had. He
- 16:15Speaker 3: grew up with this woman, He's been thirty three years
- 16:18Speaker 3: with her, So I think it's a mix. But also
- 16:21Speaker 3: Cody's a piece of shit and I hate him.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I don't care what he's feeling, like,
- 16:24Speaker 1: I really don't. He's a terrible person. Astroy, this entire family,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and you hurt children and women's exactly. I don't give
- 16:29Speaker 1: up fu.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Shit, friede you harder for reals. So thank you Aila
- 16:33Speaker 3: from the US Virgin Island so exotic it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Is I mean, I went to Saint John's wins. Is
- 16:38Speaker 1: that the US Virgin I don't fucking know. You're so
- 16:40Speaker 1: bad at Is that the British for the British ones American?
- 16:44Speaker 1: And we're so ariologies. But that's exotic and we're envious.
- 16:49Speaker 3: That's very cool, all right. Next one we have is
- 16:51Speaker 3: from Chris Hi.
- 16:53Speaker 2: This is Chris. I'm fairly new to the dumpster and
- 16:55Speaker 2: I'm loving Swimming in the Trash. Love your podcast and
- 17:00Speaker 2: opinions about Sister Wives. I know we probably don't want
- 17:04Speaker 2: to talk about Christine and David anymore, but I wanted
- 17:07Speaker 2: to get your opinion on what David's motivation is to
- 17:09Speaker 2: get married so fast. I think we all understand Christine's motivation,
- 17:15Speaker 2: but David could have told her to slow it down
- 17:18Speaker 2: and he didn't, So I wanted to get your thoughts
- 17:21Speaker 2: on why he's moving so fast. Thanks, ladies, Oh, such
- 17:27Speaker 2: a good question.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and I want to ask the people watching on
- 17:32Speaker 1: YouTube to drop in the comments what you think David's
- 17:35Speaker 1: motivation is. And also, if you're on Instagram you want
- 17:37Speaker 1: to DM beat, just let us know because that's such
- 17:39Speaker 1: a good question. Do you want to answer first? I? No,
- 17:42Speaker 1: you can no, I'd like you too, because I'm gonna
- 17:45Speaker 1: chew on it a little bit.
- 17:46Speaker 3: I think it's probably driven by the Utah culture. Like
- 17:49Speaker 3: I've heard this from Ethel and everybody else that lives
- 17:51Speaker 3: in Utah, and like we've seen comments and read it
- 17:53Speaker 3: and everything that like this is par for the course
- 17:55Speaker 3: with Utah. I mean even people are like commenting about
- 17:58Speaker 3: how it wasn't fast enough, like they could have gotten
- 18:02Speaker 3: married a lot quicker than what they did. But I
- 18:05Speaker 3: don't know. I mean, I think it's just culture. He's
- 18:07Speaker 3: old too, you know, it's like why waste time, Like
- 18:09Speaker 3: we might as well get married so we're no longer
- 18:12Speaker 3: living in sin, fucking and sucking in our house, Like
- 18:15Speaker 3: let's you know, you so bad?
- 18:18Speaker 1: We're so fucking dirty.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I don't know. I just I think it's probably Utah culture,
- 18:24Speaker 3: and you're probably right.
- 18:25Speaker 1: But I'm just gonna put my tinfoil hat right on
- 18:29Speaker 1: my big mail in head with my big bouffon, and
- 18:33Speaker 1: I'm going to just harken back. I'm gonna take us
- 18:35Speaker 1: on a journey back to the wedding special, when David's
- 18:40Speaker 1: daughter was talking about knowing who Christine was and encouraging
- 18:46Speaker 1: her father to go out on a date with Christine,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and then that's when David initiated contact or responded to
- 18:57Speaker 1: Christine or whatever, and then things started to happen. And
- 19:01Speaker 1: that always kind of just stuck in my crawl a
- 19:03Speaker 1: little bit. I thought that was weird, as if at
- 19:07Speaker 1: least the daughter really wanted to pursue being in the
- 19:11Speaker 1: limelight of the Sister Wives zeitgeist, and would it be
- 19:16Speaker 1: so much of a leap to assume that if the
- 19:19Speaker 1: daughter felt that way, maybe David did as well. So
- 19:23Speaker 1: that's one thing that it could be if it were
- 19:26Speaker 1: the worst thing possible, right which, but when I see
- 19:28Speaker 1: David on screen, I'm not really getting that from him,
- 19:32Speaker 1: like clout goblin vibe. No, yeah, I'm not getting clout
- 19:35Speaker 1: goblin vibes. I get that from Michelty, but I really
- 19:39Speaker 1: don't get that from David. And So if I'm going
- 19:41Speaker 1: to listen to my very profound and one accurate intuition,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I'm going to say that David lost his first wife
- 19:49Speaker 1: to unliving herself. I think they had a bit of
- 19:54Speaker 1: a problematic relationship, which was probably very hard for her
- 19:57Speaker 1: and very hard for him. He spent a few years
- 20:01Speaker 1: trying to date rando women, and it was weird, as
- 20:04Speaker 1: we all know on dating apps, it gets weird out there.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And he was lonely for like twelve years. For twelve years,
- 20:10Speaker 1: he was lonely. Yeah, and here comes this vibrant, funny,
- 20:16Speaker 1: effervescent woman with like all this energy and life and life,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and he was kind of in a place where he's
- 20:24Speaker 1: winding down, as you like to say, sundowning when you're
- 20:27Speaker 1: criticizing me, he's sundowning. That's wrong.
- 20:30Speaker 3: That is what she does.
- 20:30Speaker 1: She's so terrible to me.
- 20:32Speaker 3: She makes that joke too.
- 20:33Speaker 1: No, but he was. He's not sundowning off. Yeah, no,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but he's winding down. Okay, golden years of
- 20:38Speaker 1: his life, right, And as we age, we don't necessarily
- 20:42Speaker 1: want to do that. Like I bet guys who are
- 20:44Speaker 1: sixty don't want their dicks to not get hard. They
- 20:47Speaker 1: want their dicks to get hard. They want to have
- 20:50Speaker 1: the life that these They want to feel fucking desired. Oh,
- 20:52Speaker 1: they want to have good sex.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And so here comes Christine. She's ready to fuck.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Oh, she's so dready, she's.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Ready to buddy, she's ready to kiss. She wants to
- 21:01Speaker 1: be sensual, she wants to buy a house. She wants
- 21:03Speaker 1: to travel like life, life, energy, energy, And I think
- 21:07Speaker 1: David was just like so subdued, like in this prison
- 21:12Speaker 1: of like I don't know, unhappiness, and here comes this
- 21:16Speaker 1: ray of Sunshinese like he's grabbing onto it with both
- 21:19Speaker 1: hands and he's like, I will marry. I'm gonna put
- 21:20Speaker 1: a ring on it. Bit we are getting married right now.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I want you for the rest of my life because
- 21:24Speaker 1: I want to feel something.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Yeah, totally in my life.
- 21:27Speaker 1: That's what I'm gonna go with.
- 21:29Speaker 3: That's so beautiful, and thank you, Thank you so much.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I think you're right.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
- 21:36Speaker 3: So thank you Aila for that very interesting question.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Thank you. We love to have our mind stimulated, so
- 21:42Speaker 1: thank you.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yeah we do. And let us know in your comments
- 21:46Speaker 3: below if you think our opinions are bullshit or if
- 21:49Speaker 3: you have a different theory about that.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yes, all right.
- 21:51Speaker 3: The next one we have is from Madison.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Him Alison, I.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Just wanted to say how funny I thought it was
- 21:56Speaker 6: when Janelle brought up the fact that Cody is not
- 21:58Speaker 6: invited to family events whether he brings Robin or not,
- 22:01Speaker 6: and then they cut right to Cody complaining that he
- 22:03Speaker 6: won't leave Robin at home and she's not welcome at
- 22:05Speaker 6: these events, and that's why he doesn't go. Everyone has
- 22:07Speaker 6: been ranting about how Robin is the villain for years,
- 22:10Speaker 6: but I have the controversial opinion that she's actually not.
- 22:13Speaker 6: When you listen to the conversations the women had with Cody,
- 22:15Speaker 6: their complaint was not that Robin was isolating his time.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Their complaint was that Cody was choosing to spend all
- 22:20Speaker 6: his time with Robin. I don't think the women held
- 22:23Speaker 6: anything against Robin ninety percent of the time, but whenever
- 22:25Speaker 6: they complained to Cody that he was choosing to spend
- 22:28Speaker 6: his time monequally, Cody was the one who actually started
- 22:31Speaker 6: villainizing Robin. He can't handle the idea of anyone being
- 22:33Speaker 6: mad at him, so every time they said he was
- 22:35Speaker 6: in the wrong because he favored Robin, he would turn
- 22:38Speaker 6: it around and say the women and kids were blaming Robin,
- 22:40Speaker 6: rather than face the idea that he was just being
- 22:42Speaker 6: a horrible, plural husband and father. Then he would run
- 22:45Speaker 6: home to Robin and tell her everyone hated her. Do
- 22:47Speaker 6: I think she ever wanted a real relationship with them, No,
- 22:50Speaker 6: But I do think Robin is right when she says
- 22:52Speaker 6: nobody can control Cody. I don't think she controls him,
- 22:54Speaker 6: but I think Cody is madly in love with her,
- 22:56Speaker 6: so he just does whatever she wants. And that is
- 22:58Speaker 6: everyone's gripe with Cody. But every time somebody says something
- 23:01Speaker 6: about it, Cody turns it into, oh, you all just
- 23:03Speaker 6: hate Robin, and that's not actually how anyone feels.
- 23:06Speaker 7: Even Gabriel went up to Robin at the family wedding
- 23:08Speaker 7: that we don't speak about and hugged her. I believe
- 23:10Speaker 7: it's Cody's constant deflecting and villainizing of Robin that are
- 23:13Speaker 7: the real reasons the family is where it is today.
- 23:16Speaker 7: So it really tickled me when Janelle said in her
- 23:18Speaker 7: confessional this week that it doesn't matter whether he brings
- 23:20Speaker 7: Robin or not, he's on the house with ninety percent
- 23:22Speaker 7: of his family.
- 23:23Speaker 3: That's actually really interesting to me because I could totally
- 23:28Speaker 3: see a reality where Cody is the master of all
- 23:32Speaker 3: of this, Like he's telling the three og wives that
- 23:35Speaker 3: it's all Robin right. Robin needs me for the kids,
- 23:38Speaker 3: Robin needs me to babysit, Sall and eric Ari or
- 23:42Speaker 3: I need to be at Robin's house because she's got
- 23:45Speaker 3: the office for me or whatever. And so then the
- 23:47Speaker 3: og wives start hating Robin and resenting her because they
- 23:51Speaker 3: love Cody and they want to be with Cody, but
- 23:54Speaker 3: it's actually Robin who's controlling him. And then Cody goes
- 23:56Speaker 3: back to Robin and says, no, actually, all the og
- 23:59Speaker 3: wives and all my kids fucking hate your guts. They're
- 24:02Speaker 3: jealous of you because you're shy and pretty, and they
- 24:05Speaker 3: are jealous of our love that we have to hide.
- 24:07Speaker 3: And actually everyone fucking hates you and has this vendetta
- 24:10Speaker 3: against you. So then that makes Robin isolate more. And
- 24:13Speaker 3: Robin think, oh, well, okay, if y'all hate me, then
- 24:15Speaker 3: I'm gonna hate y'all. I'm gonna steal your money. Like
- 24:18Speaker 3: that's an interesting theory. I don't know if that's true,
- 24:22Speaker 3: but it's got my brain tickled.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, I am team Robin's a goblin.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I am team Robin's the mastermind. Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I think Cody is dumb as a box of rocks.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And I think when we have a Christmas chat going
- 24:39Speaker 1: on between all of the kids and Robin, but's her
- 24:44Speaker 1: big ass nose into it. Sorry, her big ass knows
- 24:51Speaker 1: into it. Yeah, And the kids start having reactions to Robin,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and then she's like.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Oh, forget it that nobody ever wants to hear from me.
- 25:00Speaker 1: That's Robin. That's literally how she is. And the kids
- 25:03Speaker 1: calling her out. I think that is actually an authentic
- 25:07Speaker 1: reflection of how they feel about Robin. I don't think
- 25:10Speaker 1: anybody told them to feel that way. I don't think
- 25:13Speaker 1: Cody tells the wives that, you know, Robin's this or that,
- 25:17Speaker 1: and the wives tell their kids that. I think the
- 25:19Speaker 1: kids have observed that firsthand the entire time, especially the
- 25:23Speaker 1: older ones like Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Garrison, and Gabe. And
- 25:27Speaker 1: I trust their opinion of Robin, Yeah, more than I
- 25:30Speaker 1: would trust certainly Cody's and even Christine Robin and Mary
- 25:36Speaker 1: and Janelle because they're still like producing themselves all of
- 25:40Speaker 1: the time.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but can't you see Cody like going to Robin
- 25:44Speaker 3: all the time and talking shit about the rest of
- 25:47Speaker 3: the family and saying that, oh, they all hate you.
- 25:50Speaker 3: They don't have a gripe with me because I'm the
- 25:51Speaker 3: perfect husband, but they all hate you and this is why.
- 25:55Speaker 3: And then it develops some kind.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I don't think it's Cody generated. I think it's Robin generated.
- 26:00Speaker 1: And then maybe he feeds into it, and then maybe
- 26:02Speaker 1: he starts seeing ghosts where there are none, like when
- 26:05Speaker 1: she comes back to him after having that conversation with
- 26:07Speaker 1: Janelle about buying the McMansion and please be careful, Janelle asked,
- 26:11Speaker 1: because we need to buy on Coyote Pass or build
- 26:13Speaker 1: on Coty Pass. And then Robin goes to Cody and
- 26:17Speaker 1: then says, well, Janelle said this, and then Cody goes
- 26:20Speaker 1: to Janelle and reams her out for it, and then
- 26:22Speaker 1: Cody comes back and says, yeah, Janelle has a problem
- 26:24Speaker 1: with it or whatever. I think at the end of
- 26:27Speaker 1: the day, it's Robin at the top who's being the
- 26:30Speaker 1: puppet master with all of it, okay, And I honestly
- 26:34Speaker 1: think it's obvious when we're watching these talking heads and
- 26:38Speaker 1: she's like, oh, yeah, I have no idea, like why
- 26:41Speaker 1: the names are on the plots of land. It was
- 26:44Speaker 1: just Cody and we just all listened to whatever he said. No, bitch,
- 26:48Speaker 1: so easy to read. She's manipulating us. She's dumb, and
- 26:52Speaker 1: she doesn't know that we can see right through her.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And so I don't think that's Cody. I think Cody's
- 26:57Speaker 1: dumber than her.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I mean, I could, I could see both ways. I mean,
- 27:01Speaker 3: like I've gone back and forth on this podcast, like,
- 27:04Speaker 3: you know, having like some sympathy for Robin sometimes of like, well,
- 27:08Speaker 3: maybe she is a victim in all of this, like
- 27:10Speaker 3: maybe she's so fucking stupid, But then she says stuff
- 27:12Speaker 3: like well, I just prioritized my money differently than the why.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I just know how to budget.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I just know how to budget. And so it's like,
- 27:18Speaker 3: obviously she's got these bitchy, manipulative, toxic, fucking tendencies. But
- 27:23Speaker 3: I don't know, I could I could see both things happening.
- 27:26Speaker 3: We're like Robin's puppet mastering her own goal, which is
- 27:29Speaker 3: probably just to be the favorite wife.
- 27:30Speaker 1: And to have all money.
- 27:31Speaker 7: Money.
- 27:31Speaker 1: It's money, it's all money.
- 27:33Speaker 3: But you know, Cody's probably got his own agenda here
- 27:36Speaker 3: of deflecting constantly because he can never take any blame
- 27:40Speaker 3: or accountability. So I could see a world work he
- 27:43Speaker 3: is like putting the blame on Robin to the og wives,
- 27:46Speaker 3: but then going back to Robin and being like I
- 27:48Speaker 3: don't know why they're blaming you. Sure, I don't know
- 27:51Speaker 3: why they're doing so it's just probably a mixture of
- 27:53Speaker 3: both totally. Yeah, yeah, so yeah, interesting speak, pipe thinking medicine.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Let us know in the comments below what you saying
- 28:01Speaker 3: what your series are. Next one we have is from Tatiana, Tatiana.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Hey, y'all, it's Tatiana from a dumpster here in Texas.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I just wanted to say this last episode, Season nineteen,
- 28:20Speaker 4: episode twelve, Mary, why are you cutting a check for
- 28:27Speaker 4: a fourth of a property that you're only a third
- 28:32Speaker 4: of a fourth on? And really, because Cody and Robert
- 28:36Speaker 4: are married, you are a third, you're a fourth of
- 28:42Speaker 4: a fourth. But she bopped on over to the mc
- 28:45Speaker 4: mansion with a whole check for a fourth of property
- 28:51Speaker 4: that her name isn't on, and Cody sure to take
- 28:55Speaker 4: it and put it inside of that little envelope like
- 28:58Speaker 4: thank you, ma'am. My other question is Cody's talking about,
- 29:04Speaker 4: you know, land with trees is probably worth more than
- 29:09Speaker 4: land without trees, But every episode Cody's cutting down trees,
- 29:14Speaker 4: so I'm kind of thinking the land without trees is
- 29:17Speaker 4: worth more and he's trying to pull a fast one.
- 29:20Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 29:21Speaker 4: I got my raccoon binoculars on and I'm looking over there,
- 29:26Speaker 4: and it's looking shady.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Love it shady af Yeah, I mean it's hard for
- 29:33Speaker 1: me to reconcile this idea of Mary being this astute,
- 29:41Speaker 1: savvy business woman right who makes all of this money,
- 29:44Speaker 1: runs a B and B, and who has a head
- 29:47Speaker 1: for business with waltzing over to the mc mansion and
- 29:51Speaker 1: cutting a check for twenty five percent of Coyote Pass.
- 29:56Speaker 1: It's like bad business. Yep, it's dumb finance. It's conducive
- 30:02Speaker 1: with what they've been doing the entire time. But like Mary,
- 30:04Speaker 1: this you're already divorced from him, Like, uh huh, please
- 30:07Speaker 1: try and catch me waltzing over to my ex husband
- 30:10Speaker 1: and cutting him a check for anything. Though, you take
- 30:12Speaker 1: away to court, bitch, Yeah, you take me to court, bitch,
- 30:15Speaker 1: Like I don't get it. And this, I think further
- 30:17Speaker 1: illustrates the fact that Mary is, if even subconsciously, just
- 30:22Speaker 1: holding onto some kind of a connection with Cody and
- 30:24Speaker 1: wanting to play Kate Cody and wanting to align with
- 30:27Speaker 1: him in some way. And we're gonna see how that
- 30:29Speaker 1: works out for her. Oh yeah, we're gonna see if
- 30:31Speaker 1: she's gonna have to end up getting an attorney, which
- 30:33Speaker 1: she says in episode thirteen that she will have to do.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I mean, if she has to, she's gonna do it.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But it's like, I don't know how to make those
- 30:40Speaker 1: things make sense. No, Yeah, how are you like making
- 30:43Speaker 1: all this money and you're good with business, but you're
- 30:45Speaker 1: it's it's got to be it's got to be the love.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I guess it's gotta be the love. Well, and also
- 30:51Speaker 3: to talk shit about Janelle with Cody and Robin at
- 30:54Speaker 3: this sit down, like you could have just done a
- 30:55Speaker 3: wire like Janelle did from fucking North Carolina, Like you
- 30:59Speaker 3: don't have to be there to give him a personal check.
- 31:02Speaker 3: It's absolutely ridiculous. Why are you paying off a quarter
- 31:05Speaker 3: of the land that.
- 31:05Speaker 1: You don't even fucking s dumb?
- 31:07Speaker 3: It's super so stupid, And even like Reddit people have
- 31:11Speaker 3: posted the actual like land values and land ownership to
- 31:16Speaker 3: this day, and she still only owns a third of
- 31:20Speaker 3: a whole or like whatever it is, like she owns
- 31:22Speaker 3: like ten percent or something in the grand scheme of things,
- 31:24Speaker 3: so she doesn't have any ownership in all of this.
- 31:26Speaker 3: It's absolutely ridiculous. And to me, I'm just like, if
- 31:29Speaker 3: you are going to retain a lawyer, what can they
- 31:32Speaker 3: do with a scene like this, when you're like willingly
- 31:34Speaker 3: giving more money to this that you don't even own.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I mean, I guess maybe you can make a case
- 31:40Speaker 3: for the fact that like you're roped into this really
- 31:42Speaker 3: terrible like loan with all these plots of land and
- 31:45Speaker 3: Christine left. It's like you kind of have to pay
- 31:47Speaker 3: off some of it so it doesn't end up on
- 31:49Speaker 3: your credit or I don't know, but it just seems
- 31:51Speaker 3: really fucking messy. And it was so stupid that she
- 31:54Speaker 3: had to go down to flag Staff just to get
- 31:56Speaker 3: one more look at Cody.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's probably they want to film content
- 32:00Speaker 1: and they want to have another episode for the show,
- 32:03Speaker 1: and so that's why she's doing it. Maybe Frankly, it's
- 32:07Speaker 1: just absurd. Yeah, And I guess she's okay with losing money,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I guess, And she's just hoping at this point that
- 32:14Speaker 1: they're going to do right by her. Both Janelle and
- 32:17Speaker 1: Mary are like, well, like, we'll see what happens. Hopefully
- 32:20Speaker 1: it works out to her benefit. Hopefully they have some integrity,
- 32:24Speaker 1: but like if they don't, will pursue legal options. And
- 32:26Speaker 1: so I'm very curious because of the way that the
- 32:29Speaker 1: land is to this day in terms of ownership, very
- 32:31Speaker 1: curious about what happens, because Mary, if the land is
- 32:35Speaker 1: going to stay in ownership as it is now, then
- 32:38Speaker 1: you threw good money after bad and you frankly are
- 32:41Speaker 1: doom dum dumb.
- 32:44Speaker 3: But I mean she did advocate for an appraisal, which
- 32:47Speaker 3: is a good idea because Cody is making his bullshit
- 32:50Speaker 3: claim like Tatiana said that, you know, he thinks that
- 32:55Speaker 3: the land with trees is more valuable, but then he's
- 32:57Speaker 3: also cutting down the trees, Like, what the fuck are
- 32:59Speaker 3: you doing? Doesn't make any He doesn't want the appraisal
- 33:02Speaker 3: because that drives up the amount of their share, huh.
- 33:06Speaker 3: And that means that when they sell it, they're going
- 33:09Speaker 3: to get twenty five percent of an increased amount.
- 33:11Speaker 1: So he would rather it just be a mystery. Yeah,
- 33:13Speaker 1: just trust me, babe. Yeah, yeah, this is what you
- 33:16Speaker 1: get and just go away. It's fine.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Yep. And I do agree that he is trying to
- 33:19Speaker 3: pull a fast one on these women, and maybe that's
- 33:22Speaker 3: why Janelle's getting a lawyer and hopefully Mary gets a lawyer.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And this is why polygamy is bad.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Yep. Moralthy story. And the next one we have is
- 33:29Speaker 3: from Bronwyn, who I think has called before.
- 33:31Speaker 8: Okay, though, my beautiful raccoon, this is Bronwin keeping things
- 33:36Speaker 8: weird over in Portland, Oregon. Okay, so two things. So
- 33:41Speaker 8: the first one is if you are being love bombed
- 33:45Speaker 8: so hard by a narcissist that even his friends are saying,
- 33:49Speaker 8: are you sure you want to break up?
- 33:51Speaker 1: That's pretty bad.
- 33:53Speaker 8: I've been with a narcissist before and that definitely trucks
- 33:58Speaker 8: So uh yeah, Cody, you say, by the way, I
- 34:00Speaker 8: did a whole rewatch and Cody definitely has told himself
- 34:06Speaker 8: a narcissist three different times that I've gotten up to
- 34:09Speaker 8: so far, so definitely true. The other one, and this
- 34:14Speaker 8: is definitely my opinion, not yours, So don't come for
- 34:21Speaker 8: them if you're going to come for someone. But it
- 34:25Speaker 8: really struck me that when they were in Vegas, Cody
- 34:29Speaker 8: was not being.
- 34:32Speaker 9: As bad as he's been in Flagstaff and it was
- 34:37Speaker 9: about that time that he got super, super angry, and
- 34:42Speaker 9: I'm thinking there's something else going on.
- 34:44Speaker 8: I'm thinking.
- 34:46Speaker 10: Maybe steroids. Maybe I've heard he's drinking, but there is
- 34:54Speaker 10: a difference. Just curious your thoughts.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Well, do you see his belly?
- 35:02Speaker 3: That is six pack abs.
- 35:03Speaker 1: You mean that's like a boozebelly to me, Oh for sure.
- 35:07Speaker 1: It comes from a long line of alcoholic starling. Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 1: and I've seen alcoholic behaviors and tendencies, and I'm just
- 35:13Speaker 1: saying he's an alcoholic, but I would not be a
- 35:16Speaker 1: bit surprised if he imbibes a bit too much. We
- 35:19Speaker 1: have talked at great length about our theory that he
- 35:23Speaker 1: is a low tee. Yeah, motherfucker, small bags, probably taking
- 35:29Speaker 1: some tea, and he might be taking some steroids. But
- 35:32Speaker 1: there was that like maybe season seventeen eighteen where he
- 35:35Speaker 1: was just so acutely misogynistic and toxic. It was so
- 35:41Speaker 1: red pilled and obvious to me.
- 35:44Speaker 3: And pupils were different.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It did seem very substance driven to me. All alleged.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Of course we had no idea, but like, I wouldn't
- 35:51Speaker 1: be a bit surprised to learn after the fact that
- 35:53Speaker 1: that's what was going on, starting in Vegas, but definitely
- 35:56Speaker 1: in Flagstaff.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Oh for sure. And I think it just heightened his
- 35:59Speaker 3: whole like nurse cistic injuries of his whole family turning
- 36:02Speaker 3: against him after COVID because how dare he go and
- 36:06Speaker 3: visit anybody else? Now? Dare he like care about the
- 36:09Speaker 3: rest of the family. He's just staying with Robert. He's like,
- 36:11Speaker 3: why would anybody question me? Fuck them? So, I think, like,
- 36:14Speaker 3: definitely substance issues, Definitely narcissistic injury. It's interesting that she
- 36:19Speaker 3: said that during the rewatches he was calling himself a narcissist.
- 36:23Speaker 3: I don't think we've gotten to those episodes yet.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think we're going to start
- 36:26Speaker 1: season six.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I think so.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah, So I don't remember that. I feel like we
- 36:30Speaker 1: would have talked about that quite a lot, for sure. Yeah,
- 36:32Speaker 1: self diagnosing. Maybe when he starts going to counseling and
- 36:35Speaker 1: stuff like that, he maybe self identifies as a narcissist.
- 36:39Speaker 1: But that was interesting with Nate. Yeah, I mean when
- 36:43Speaker 1: he's crying and sobbing with Mary and then Nate asks
- 36:46Speaker 1: if he's sure, and then Cody says on the couch
- 36:48Speaker 1: like a typical narcissist, Well, he just doesn't get it.
- 36:51Speaker 1: He doesn't know me, he doesn't.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Understand that the reason blah blah blah.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Did you think that the sobbing was love bombing her
- 36:58Speaker 1: or maybe it was love bomb us.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I don't know if it was love bombing per se,
- 37:04Speaker 3: but just like you know, playing the victim and trying
- 37:07Speaker 3: to appeal to our humanity, just a manipulative tactic like
- 37:12Speaker 3: weaponizing your tears. I can totally see that. I think
- 37:14Speaker 3: he probably love bombed like the og Wives, like you know,
- 37:17Speaker 3: in the earlier days and stuff like that a few
- 37:19Speaker 3: seasons ago before he turned into a vitriolic.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Alcohol on humanity.
- 37:25Speaker 3: But yeah, I think he especially with Janelle, I think
- 37:28Speaker 3: he was probably loved bombing her a lot because she
- 37:30Speaker 3: said he has a hook in her and that's how
- 37:33Speaker 3: she stayed for so long. Same thing with Mary, you know.
- 37:36Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't know. The whole scene with Nate
- 37:38Speaker 3: was weird. I kind of wonder if Nate was just
- 37:41Speaker 3: doing that for the cameras right, to try again to
- 37:43Speaker 3: try and appeal to Cody's humanity, because Nate was saying,
- 37:47Speaker 3: was it last season or the season before? No, Cody's
- 37:49Speaker 3: actually a really good guy, right right. Wasn't he the
- 37:51Speaker 3: fan of a friend that I said?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yes, fuck you Nate, yeah, and fuck you Cody. Yeah.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Thank you for your message, Broumwin, thank you all right.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Next one is from one thousand Pounds Raccoon.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Oh my god, just like us Yeah, raccoons. They're just
- 38:06Speaker 1: like us. Yeah, raccoons.
- 38:08Speaker 11: I'm gonna do my best to get this rant to
- 38:10Speaker 11: fit into ninety seconds because I just watched this week's
- 38:13Speaker 11: episode and I am raging. Okay, every week I prepare
- 38:18Speaker 11: myself for the ways in which Robin and Cody will
- 38:20Speaker 11: piss me off. But this week there was a new
- 38:23Speaker 11: bitch in town, very brown, and her lame ass, whole ass,
- 38:29Speaker 11: bringing that valuable piece of information that Janelle shared with
- 38:33Speaker 11: her that she did not have to, And instead of
- 38:35Speaker 11: returning that gesture, Mary turns around and brings that piece
- 38:39Speaker 11: of information to Robin and Cody. I was screaming at
- 38:43Speaker 11: my TV. I kind of had to like pause and
- 38:45Speaker 11: take a moment to think about why someone would do
- 38:49Speaker 11: something like that, and I can only think of two things.
- 38:52Speaker 11: Either she does not believe it at all, and she's
- 38:55Speaker 11: she brought that to them her captors in some sort
- 38:58Speaker 11: of strange Stockholm dynamic, or a small part of her
- 39:03Speaker 11: does believe it, and she brought that to them looking
- 39:06Speaker 11: for reassurance that it's not true. And when she didn't
- 39:10Speaker 11: get that, that's when she started bringing up having the
- 39:13Speaker 11: property appraised. So where initially it pissed me off, and
- 39:17Speaker 11: it still does. I'm starting to slowly notice the small
- 39:21Speaker 11: ways in which Mary is pulling away from Robin and
- 39:24Speaker 11: Cody and starting to see things for the way they
- 39:27Speaker 11: really are. And thank god, because they do not deserve
- 39:30Speaker 11: her loyalty. I am saying it anyway, Thank you Raccoons.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Did you call in under an boy? She reminds me
- 39:40Speaker 3: of you? That was so funny.
- 39:42Speaker 1: That's hilarious, so good. That is so interesting though. It's
- 39:47Speaker 1: got me ruminate in y because like, what if Mary
- 39:51Speaker 1: came into that meeting with Cody and Robin and she
- 39:54Speaker 1: was like, let me just drop this bomb and see
- 39:59Speaker 1: how they respect and so she's said yeah, So Janelle
- 40:01Speaker 1: was saying, you know, be careful this, this and that,
- 40:04Speaker 1: and based on their reaction, then decided to push the
- 40:09Speaker 1: idea of the appraisal, Like this is what I want
- 40:13Speaker 1: for Mary to have done. I want her to be
- 40:16Speaker 1: that savvy and like orchestrate a moment where she can
- 40:20Speaker 1: get some clarity. Unfortunately, I think Mary was ingratiating herself
- 40:26Speaker 1: to Cody and Robin. She was bringing her latest kill
- 40:30Speaker 1: back to the Lion Pride. Look, Papa, I've got some
- 40:33Speaker 1: interesting information for you. This is what Janelle said, which,
- 40:37Speaker 1: by the way, is something I think she has done
- 40:40Speaker 1: many times before. Yeah, and it's one of the things
- 40:42Speaker 1: that I just can't stand about Mary, because she's not
- 40:45Speaker 1: a girl's girl. She's just not a girl's girl. In
- 40:48Speaker 1: moments where she could have supported Christine even a little
- 40:52Speaker 1: bit or Janelle, she just didn't do it. And even
- 40:55Speaker 1: when Janelle's coming over, not even with an olive branch,
- 40:58Speaker 1: but like to do her ae it like, Mary, watch out,
- 41:02Speaker 1: like you could lose a lot of money here, and
- 41:04Speaker 1: I just want you to protect yourself. Even in that moment,
- 41:07Speaker 1: she's thinking of ways to fuck Janelle. Oh yeah, Oh,
- 41:10Speaker 1: let me take this kernel of information over to Cody
- 41:12Speaker 1: and Robin, the most despicable people known to Matt yep,
- 41:15Speaker 1: and see if they'll like me more if I do so.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Yep.
- 41:18Speaker 1: So Unfortunately, as she calls this Stockholm syndrome, yep, I
- 41:23Speaker 1: think that's what it is.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Oh totally, yeah. I think she was totally groveling back
- 41:27Speaker 3: to Cody and Robin and trying to be like a
- 41:30Speaker 3: good ex wife and still be in as graces somewhat.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I mean, even when he was moving her out, he
- 41:35Speaker 3: kept like throwing her bones and like, you're my favorite
- 41:37Speaker 3: ex wife and thanks for being so cool. Let me
- 41:39Speaker 3: hug you. Please don't sue me, Please don't sue me. Like,
- 41:42Speaker 3: now we can be friends and we can have a
- 41:44Speaker 3: good relationship because all the other wives hate me. Like
- 41:48Speaker 3: she's totally doing this to get in as good graces,
- 41:50Speaker 3: but it's not gonna fucking work, Mary, because you're so stupid.
- 41:53Speaker 3: You're so fucking dumb. I don't know how many times
- 41:56Speaker 3: you have to be told or shown like Cody and
- 41:58Speaker 3: Robin's motives here, Like, I don't know how many times
- 42:01Speaker 3: you have to get fucked over. You had your fucking
- 42:03Speaker 3: ring melted down in season one, bro, and yet you're
- 42:07Speaker 3: still in love with Cody.
- 42:09Speaker 1: For some reason and has wanting to be allied with them,
- 42:12Speaker 1: seriously wanting to demonstrate certain ways so that they understand
- 42:16Speaker 1: that you're with them. Yeah, like week as fuck, Oh
- 42:20Speaker 1: my lame shit, E've embarrassed for you.
- 42:23Speaker 3: In episode thirteen, she's still talking to her friends and
- 42:26Speaker 3: being like there's a week clear. God, oh my god,
- 42:32Speaker 3: it's so annoying.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Keep that inside the house. Don't let it get out
- 42:35Speaker 1: of the house into public, into the public square. It's
- 42:39Speaker 1: really pathetic.
- 42:40Speaker 3: And then you, of all people, want to start worthy up.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Oh, I know, this is what makes me. This is
- 42:45Speaker 1: what's so crazy makes me. This is why we're not
- 42:48Speaker 1: in this jumpster. Yes, it's so ridiculous, and it's week
- 42:52Speaker 1: after week after we're going crazy.
- 42:56Speaker 3: God, So thank you a thousand Raccoon. We totally co
- 43:01Speaker 3: signed all of your feelings and your message was great
- 43:04Speaker 3: and last.
- 43:04Speaker 1: And if you are on Patreon, we're thinking about doing
- 43:07Speaker 1: thousand pound friends. I'm kind of into it. I think
- 43:10Speaker 1: maybe in January. I don't know if you want to.
- 43:12Speaker 1: We have to make some final decisions, but like thousand
- 43:14Speaker 1: pound Raccoons unite.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yes, all right. Last message we have is from Tylee.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Ty Lee, Hi there, this.
- 43:22Speaker 12: Is Tylee from South Carolina. Love you guys, love the show,
- 43:27Speaker 12: and I'm just catching up on episode twelve of Sister
- 43:31Speaker 12: Wives and Cody like bawling on Mary's shoulder, which you know,
- 43:37Speaker 12: obviously was so weird, but at the end she was like,
- 43:41Speaker 12: this would be so much easier if he was like mean, Okay, Mary,
- 43:45Speaker 12: do we not remember him talking straight shit to you
- 43:48Speaker 12: about you to your face and on national TV. I'm
- 43:53Speaker 12: pretty sure that he.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Has been and is mean.
- 43:57Speaker 12: Okay, that's all I needed to say.
- 43:59Speaker 1: I just to get that off my system. Bye, guys,
- 44:02Speaker 1: that's why she sucks.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Agreed, Seriously, Kylie, I mean that comment last week was
- 44:08Speaker 3: so infuriating. This would be so much easier if he.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Was a jerk.
- 44:11Speaker 3: What do you mean he hasn't fucked you in ten years?
- 44:15Speaker 1: He says whack shit about you all the time television,
- 44:20Speaker 1: in front of millions of raccoons.
- 44:22Speaker 3: All the fucking time. He literally doesn't want to be
- 44:25Speaker 3: involved in your life, doesn't want to inquire about you
- 44:28Speaker 3: because you're boring.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Right, And he has done all the mean things, all the.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Mean thing, Like how many more times does he need
- 44:34Speaker 3: to show you that he's a jerk?
- 44:35Speaker 1: Like, and he's been saying like I'm over the anger
- 44:37Speaker 1: now now I'm just in a space where we can
- 44:39Speaker 1: be friends. Like you still need him to be so
- 44:42Speaker 1: angry and awful to you and frankly abusive in order
- 44:46Speaker 1: to make this easier for you, Like, what's wrong with you?
- 44:48Speaker 3: Seriously?
- 44:49Speaker 1: You need that? That is what I'm talking about. And
- 44:53Speaker 1: I hate to harp on it. I know people get
- 44:54Speaker 1: sick of me, no, but I'm just I don't undersdand
- 44:58Speaker 1: I don't get any at all. I really don't like
- 45:00Speaker 1: why you would need him to be abusive in order
- 45:03Speaker 1: to make this conscious uncoupling better for you, Like, no,
- 45:06Speaker 1: this is this is who he is. Except what it is,
- 45:10Speaker 1: you can't move on. But you know the best way
- 45:12Speaker 1: to get over a man is to get under one.
- 45:15Speaker 1: And so we know that somewhere soon in this timeline,
- 45:19Speaker 1: she's going to meet that Amos guy looks like Cody
- 45:22Speaker 1: and who's bald though total clout roblin.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Do think they fucked?
- 45:28Speaker 1: I don't know. Out of all of the wives, she
- 45:31Speaker 1: seems to be the most spiritual, like the most lds.
- 45:36Speaker 3: E yeah, modest, So I don't know.
- 45:37Speaker 1: If she'd take off that Mormon went underwear and let
- 45:40Speaker 1: somebody slid it on make a feel. I don't know
- 45:48Speaker 1: she'd be willing to do that, but I'd like to.
- 45:51Speaker 1: I'd like to try and see we should put that
- 45:53Speaker 1: on the vision board. Well, hopefully in this hopefully in
- 45:56Speaker 1: this season we're going to see some of that, right,
- 45:58Speaker 1: I hope is christ the paces they put us through,
- 46:04Speaker 1: I know, but we still watch, we do and we
- 46:06Speaker 1: will continue to do so. Yes, Well, thank you all,
- 46:10Speaker 1: thank you so much of the raccoons to call in.
- 46:12Speaker 1: First of all, we love to hear from you, and
- 46:14Speaker 1: also you offer information and opinions that are different and
- 46:18Speaker 1: we appreciating very much.
- 46:21Speaker 3: What would you say, I said, stimulating?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Oh are you having let's beyond a feelings, you know. Oh,
- 46:30Speaker 1: but anyway, thank you so much for calling and we
- 46:34Speaker 1: do you want to say that we are getting a
- 46:36Speaker 1: lot of these yeah, which we listen to every single
- 46:38Speaker 1: one of them, but it may come to a point
- 46:42Speaker 1: soon that we might not be able to answer all
- 46:44Speaker 1: of them right away. Yeah, there are a couple we
- 46:47Speaker 1: weren't able to get to this week, So just know
- 46:50Speaker 1: that if you call in, we're listening to them, but
- 46:52Speaker 1: we might not be able to feature every single one
- 46:54Speaker 1: on the pod or.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Like right away. It might be like spread out, you know.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Spread out, yeah, spread like legs, Yeah, Christine's legs, spread
- 47:03Speaker 1: the vagina wedding gown, spread those girl.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I gotta go, you do You're getting drawn?
- 47:11Speaker 1: I'm so crazy. Is there anything else that we need
- 47:14Speaker 1: to say to these beautiful raccoons before we get up
- 47:17Speaker 1: on out of here? Beatrice?
- 47:19Speaker 3: Well, if you love your our podcast, you better be

- 47:29Speaker 3: to do so. I mean it really helps us and

- 47:34Speaker 1: Okay, big thank you, We mean it. It does help.

- 47:46Speaker 1: that is never gonna happen. No, I'm a lovey raccoon.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I love it, live love fluffy. But we'll be back

- 47:56Speaker 1: Until then, do not forget that we have nothing but

- 48:00Speaker 3: And please bye bye brys
- 48:09Speaker 12: Mm hmm
