- 0:20Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Hello everybody, what a beautiful new day.
- 0:30Speaker 3: We're so glad you were join us.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yes, we're here. We asked. We had so much fun
- 0:37Speaker 2: last week that we asked our good friend Anthon to
- 0:40Speaker 2: come back for this week's recording. We're all hearing different outfits.
- 0:45Speaker 4: I am so glad I could clear my schedule to be.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You're so sweet to come back.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I know, trafic bitch.
- 0:54Speaker 1: On the way to the living room, try it out.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Wow, our producers a bitch sometimes too, and that could
- 1:03Speaker 2: be me or Abby, we don't know.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We love them both.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Our bitches bishes.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yepish And so what's your feeling on the word bish
- 1:19Speaker 2: as a lighthearted soft bitch, Like if you have girlfriends
- 1:24Speaker 2: that like are being a little bit too sassy, you
- 1:27Speaker 2: could be like bitsch please, But if it's like a
- 1:30Speaker 2: hard ty bitch, it's someone's like actively being aggressively a
- 1:34Speaker 2: bitch bitch in my so you know what, hello, goodbye.
- 1:41Speaker 4: So yeah, we have different levels of bitch, Like with
- 1:44Speaker 4: Cameron and I, it's moved from bitch. We just say.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Like the dog whispered, So people see oh, I like
- 2:01Speaker 5: that one.
- 2:01Speaker 2: So he's so he's on board with bish because it
- 2:04Speaker 2: is a variation of the word for a specific time.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I hear, that's what I'm hearing.
- 2:09Speaker 1: How do you feel about saying giving people grace? That
- 2:13Speaker 1: one drives Aaron grazy.
- 2:15Speaker 2: He made the same face I made.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yes, it's so little overplayed.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Think we all got him from our therapist because we
- 2:25Speaker 1: were wondering why we kept saying it so much.
- 2:29Speaker 2: It was filling me with rage if we're just being
- 2:32Speaker 2: totally honest.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Yeah, So I give Aaron grace on saying.
- 2:36Speaker 4: That's just some slack.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Grace, and then I tell her she's being a real
- 2:42Speaker 2: bitch instead of a bish because she's using grace, Maze.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Grace. He died thirty years.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Grace the blessing.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Oh my god. So, hey, guys, you're here for a
- 3:01Speaker 2: Golden Girls podcast. But now that we've solved that bish
- 3:05Speaker 2: is a word, I think we could probably get started
- 3:07Speaker 2: with today's show.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I do like gotta say it like.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Like you're constipated, Like.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Look you make when somebody says something they're not festing,
- 3:24Speaker 3: you're like.
- 3:27Speaker 4: That you can just make the eyes like ooh oh.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I like that.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Hey love all these sight gags, guys, so good for
- 3:36Speaker 2: an audible only podcast.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Yeah, anytime. That's what we're here for.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I appreciate you. It's like the podcast version of reading
- 3:43Speaker 2: a book. The listener at home is inserting their own
- 3:46Speaker 2: facial expressions and it's perfect.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Make face here boo, I'm waving, can you see?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, all right? Well, hey, what's new people?
- 4:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Last week? What's new?
- 4:07Speaker 4: It's really crazy. It's hot, it's gonna get one hundred
- 4:10Speaker 4: to day, but it's really gray and overcasts, like it's
- 4:13Speaker 4: Disneyland right now.
- 4:15Speaker 1: My friend poasted, what area of the country when you
- 4:18Speaker 1: like la or Ontario?
- 4:20Speaker 4: California?
- 4:21Speaker 1: Oh right, Ontario, not Canada.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Ontario. California is like if you get to like so,
- 4:29Speaker 2: I lived in Anaheim, I was right by Disney. If
- 4:32Speaker 2: you leave that area on one of the major freeways,
- 4:35Speaker 2: you come to several cities, and then when you feel
- 4:37Speaker 2: like you just can't drive anymore, you've probably reached Ontario.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Yeah, there's an airport there. I know where it is.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I love this man so much, and I've only been
- 4:50Speaker 2: to his house like three times because he lives pain.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It's like I might as well just keep driving to
- 4:57Speaker 2: Vegas like it it feels like it's that far away.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You work it not like that sounds like it's quite
- 5:04Speaker 1: a commute.
- 5:05Speaker 4: It's only thirty miles.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Aaron thinks things are further than they are. When I
- 5:10Speaker 3: went to visit her, she we were going somewhere that
- 5:12Speaker 3: was like an hour away, and she was worried about
- 5:15Speaker 3: getting air andbnb for the night because it was such
- 5:17Speaker 3: a long trip, and I'm like, we're going.
- 5:22Speaker 1: To need snags and overnight provision.
- 5:25Speaker 2: First of all. First of all, first of all, I
- 5:30Speaker 2: wanted us to stay at a super cute airbnb and
- 5:33Speaker 2: then go to the Carousel Museum the next day because
- 5:37Speaker 2: we were going to be at a theme park, the
- 5:39Speaker 2: Enchanted Forest all day. And then it's so cool if
- 5:45Speaker 2: you come up here, I'll take you down there and
- 5:47Speaker 2: we'll stay at a cute airbnb.
- 5:49Speaker 1: So you want to stay, drive and then stay and
- 5:52Speaker 1: then be fresh for the park, is what you were saying.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I wanted to drive down to the museum and then yes,
- 5:59Speaker 2: the next morning, wake up, it's the park first thing.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And by the way, for this super long drive we took,
- 6:07Speaker 2: we had to get like ninety dollars worth of gluten
- 6:10Speaker 2: free bake Goods on the way down.
- 6:12Speaker 4: So it was.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And I can eat glutens, so I think.
- 6:18Speaker 1: They're so pricey, right?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Fuck? Yeah, I will say it's the best keish I've
- 6:23Speaker 2: had since I moved to Oregon, and it's gluten free crust.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I don't like pie crust, and I do like their
- 6:28Speaker 2: keish crust. Anyway, enough about hold the wheat. Let's talk
- 6:31Speaker 2: about Golden Girls. How about that Golden Goods.
- 6:36Speaker 1: One of my favorites. Yeah, I want to talk about
- 6:40Speaker 1: this episode.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yeah, tell us a little bit about what we're about
- 6:43Speaker 2: to watch.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Friends, We are going to watch season two episode fifteen,
- 6:48Speaker 1: before and after.
- 6:51Speaker 2: It sounds like a password clue, which makes me think
- 6:54Speaker 2: of Patty White's husband, how ludden rip? Both of you guys?
- 7:00Speaker 1: You think of Bingo because when they called before all
- 7:02Speaker 1: the old people go and after.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It makes me think of my apartment because I live
- 7:10Speaker 2: in unit before.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, why don't we dok to you on air?
- 7:13Speaker 1: That's yeah.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't tell anyone my address, just my unit number.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Of your apartments. Please go check all the beef, Oh
- 7:24Speaker 2: my god, And if you find the girl that stole
- 7:27Speaker 2: my hocus Pocus dress when you go to one of
- 7:30Speaker 2: the b fours, punch her and take it back because
- 7:34Speaker 2: it was sold out.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And I want to get arrested for inciting violence.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Why?
- 7:39Speaker 2: I mean our president didn't anyway.
- 7:43Speaker 1: He's gone pittriatic. The original air date was January twenty fourth,
- 7:48Speaker 1: nineteen eighty seven, directed by Terry Hughes, written by Bob
- 7:52Speaker 1: Rosenfarb Kristen. What do you think Before and After is about?
- 7:58Speaker 3: This is gonna be about the ladies life before they
- 8:01Speaker 3: were married and had children and what it's like after
- 8:04Speaker 3: they were married and had children.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I like it, Okay, I like that.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I feel like that's a thing. Okay. And who do
- 8:14Speaker 2: you think the villain's gonna be?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Villain? We're not asking into sorry, could just because he
- 8:20Speaker 1: already knows all this shuff Let's go with Blanch. Blanche
- 8:25Speaker 1: is the villain. Blanche Day of a Row, Eat dirt
- 8:29Speaker 1: and die trash.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I love that line.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I want to say that's on her Hallmark ornament, but
- 8:37Speaker 1: I might be wrong. Couple phrases talking.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah, my sister's working on my Harrying quote that I'm
- 8:45Speaker 3: gonna put on my wall.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, even my therapist knew that quote. He's like,
- 8:50Speaker 1: Herring is getting shot out of a cannon into a tree.
- 8:53Speaker 3: And I was like, oh my god, you should go
- 8:54Speaker 3: on our show.
- 8:56Speaker 1: He's like, I don't know that that would be appropriate.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was like, damn it.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I talked to my favorites about the show too.
- 9:04Speaker 2: As executive producer, I'm obviously concerned that you grow. People
- 9:09Speaker 2: on the show are talking to their just like.
- 9:16Speaker 3: No, it's a good thing in our lives.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm not a complaints No, it is well.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I like, I like a good callback. And when I start,
- 9:25Speaker 2: I'm I'm lazy. I don't know if you guys have
- 9:27Speaker 2: met me, but I'm pretty lazy. And so when I podcast,
- 9:32Speaker 2: that's so weird. When I do a new episode sheet
- 9:36Speaker 2: and prep the quizzes for our shows, yes, I always
- 9:39Speaker 2: just use the prior episodes to put the thing on
- 9:42Speaker 2: because it's already formatted nictally. And I got to tell
- 9:46Speaker 2: you just a couple of episodes ago, we were watching
- 9:50Speaker 2: an episode that had to do with Maria Finestro and
- 9:54Speaker 2: Francesco were Gusso and the Manicotti that can anchor a
- 9:57Speaker 2: boat and very funny episode, and that's one of my
- 10:01Speaker 2: favorite Scandinavian sayings in that episode, which is you can
- 10:05Speaker 2: let too angry Macrol fight it out in a purse,
- 10:08Speaker 2: but don't ever plan on carrying that purse to a
- 10:10Speaker 2: formal affair.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I liked that one a lot anyway.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Sorry, yeah, yeah, there has to be somewhere where they
- 10:20Speaker 3: have like all these stories written down somewhere, or a book.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It should be Roses Golden Book or whatever. Yeah, there's
- 10:29Speaker 1: gotta be something on Etsy. You would think I'll have
- 10:33Speaker 1: to do some digging.
- 10:35Speaker 2: All right, Well, let's do some digging in to these
- 10:38Speaker 2: messages from our sponsors, will we go away and watch
- 10:42Speaker 2: the show?
- 10:43Speaker 4: Sounds Toastytreetings, fellow nerds, It's Garrett.
- 10:47Speaker 6: You're host of the nodak Nerd, part of Odd Pods Media,

- 10:55Speaker 6: everything in between. You've got you covered. Join me for
- 10:58Speaker 6: insightful reviews, hilarious discussions, and maybe even a few heated debates.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Find the note act Nerd wherever you listen to podcasts.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Let's get nerdy.
- 11:09Speaker 2: We did it. We watched an episode. Did you guys
- 11:12Speaker 2: watch that at home.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope you did before you've listened to this part.
- 11:16Speaker 3: I know how this works.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Spoiler alertic forty years later.
- 11:24Speaker 1: That was That was a decent one. Not as good
- 11:26Speaker 1: as the actor, but it was Okay.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, last last Week's is in one of my top
- 11:32Speaker 2: ten episodes, I think because it's just so silly. But
- 11:35Speaker 2: I like this one.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not bad.
- 11:39Speaker 3: It gives you an appreciation for friendship. Yes, yeah, don't
- 11:43Speaker 3: judge me.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Monkey monkey.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Okay, I'm not sure you can call me a monkey. Uh,
- 11:52Speaker 2: let's let's just jump into the quiz. So I know
- 11:56Speaker 2: it's been like a whole week, so I'm just gonna
- 11:59Speaker 2: go over the rules with you again and just your aware. Yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 2: please let me finish the whole question. Your name is
- 12:06Speaker 2: your buzzer and Kristen takes notes, so you're gonna wanna
- 12:10Speaker 2: if you think you know the answer, scream in real quick. Okay,
- 12:14Speaker 2: all right now, this one, spoiler alert, is going to
- 12:18Speaker 2: have some of those questions that you were whinding about
- 12:20Speaker 2: during the episode. So you're welcome.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh, I know you're starting to learn, all right.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Question one, who is the wedding cake for Christen?
- 12:31Speaker 4: I knew you were going to ask that I didn't write.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Getting married.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Yes for a bonus point, pushy mail or female, because so.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not sure that's a girl wolf or whatever.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And then they talk about the hair and.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:54Speaker 2: And also, just while we're talking about this opening scene,
- 12:57Speaker 2: I did I put a note down here when I
- 13:00Speaker 2: was watching it the first time, and then I wrote
- 13:01Speaker 2: a note on the different piece of paper now watching
- 13:03Speaker 2: it with you all, and I said, Betty doesn't know
- 13:06Speaker 2: how to decorate a cake. When the scene opens, Betty
- 13:10Speaker 2: is just squeezing the piping bag on top of that
- 13:14Speaker 2: cake and making just this like fucking pile of pink icing.
- 13:18Speaker 2: And then when she tries to decorate the other areas,
- 13:20Speaker 2: she's putting the pink PLoP of shit just like where
- 13:24Speaker 2: there's already pink stuff, so hopefully we don't notice. It
- 13:27Speaker 2: is by far the least attempt that I think Betty
- 13:32Speaker 2: may make the entire series at anything that she wasn't
- 13:35Speaker 2: like already an expert at herself. It is shocking because
- 13:39Speaker 2: this is the woman that we thought actually could play piano. Yeah,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and then you flash forward a few episodes from that
- 13:46Speaker 2: Miami is nice moment, and you're like, anyway, into the
- 13:56Speaker 2: word Miami is cute then and inner ter All right,
- 14:03Speaker 2: here we go. Question two, Give me three or more
- 14:09Speaker 2: of the five to do list items Rose lists to
- 14:14Speaker 2: the girls, Kristin, I only need three for to get
- 14:18Speaker 2: a point three or more of the five crystal ship Christin.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Three thousand envelopes she has to do. They have the
- 14:28Speaker 3: hoot Nanny, She's got to wash the car, and she
- 14:30Speaker 3: has to give blood.
- 14:32Speaker 5: I'm going to give it.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Well, yeah, so I'm going to give it to you.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But it was that she had to address three hundred envelopes,
- 14:40Speaker 2: she had to pick the decorations up from the church
- 14:43Speaker 2: for the hooton Nanny, she had to wash the cars
- 14:46Speaker 2: for the wedding, and she had to deliver the cake
- 14:50Speaker 2: and give blood all by seven pm.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Oh pm, oh pm. I thought it was by am.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I thought it was am too.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I think that that's based on the fact that most
- 15:01Speaker 2: blood drives end at either six or seven pm. I
- 15:04Speaker 2: think that's why the seven was thrown in there. And
- 15:06Speaker 2: I thought you'd I thought for sure Kristin would get
- 15:10Speaker 2: this one right because she is an advocate of giving blood.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yes, I'm a regular platelet dome on platelets.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Meanwhile, I dodge phone calls from the vampires,
- 15:21Speaker 2: excuse me, the American Red Cross. But I am going
- 15:24Speaker 2: because they're giving away a Peanuts shirt. In fact, if
- 15:27Speaker 2: you have a time machine and you're listening to this
- 15:29Speaker 2: episode and you can travel back to August twenty ninth
- 15:32Speaker 2: through September twenty first, you can get a Peanuts T
- 15:36Speaker 2: shirt when you donate blood. Let's just move on with
- 15:38Speaker 2: the quiz so it's less awkward, all right. Blanche's granddaddy
- 15:42Speaker 2: told her idle hands are the devil's workshop. Oh no,
- 15:46Speaker 2: Typo and my thing. Idle hands are the devil's workshop.
- 15:50Speaker 2: But what else did he tell her?
- 15:53Speaker 3: Kristin?
- 15:57Speaker 2: And so did you pay attention today?
- 16:00Speaker 4: I forget to write down.
- 16:01Speaker 3: So I started out, Okay, city cold, concrete causes hemorrhoid.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Yes, oh cold.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I thought it was hot.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Okay, cold cold, and it was sitting on code com rods.
- 16:18Speaker 3: A lot of alliteration there.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I liked it, all right, Emerald, question for what are
- 16:27Speaker 2: the first three of the twelve warning signs of death?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Kristen?
- 16:34Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, children start visiting weekly. The doctor won't take
- 16:40Speaker 3: a children visit during the week. Okay, doctor won't take
- 16:46Speaker 3: a post dated check and cream of wheat is too spicy.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Al Right, that is true. That is true. I had
- 16:53Speaker 2: to squabble there for a second with you because when
- 16:55Speaker 2: you were when you said weekly, that was not what
- 16:58Speaker 2: the joke worrying they made time during the week to
- 17:01Speaker 2: see them. Yes, okay, you get the point. Kristen gets
- 17:04Speaker 2: the point.
- 17:04Speaker 7: Ya.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Besides the fact that, besides the fact that Rose thinks
- 17:11Speaker 2: she died, what is actually wrong with her?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Christina?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Okay, Kristen had spasm esophage gel suffageal.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Deal, It's just a sophageal ahageal. A fun story. Someone
- 17:33Speaker 2: that's not my friend anymore that I used to know,
- 17:38Speaker 2: like way way way away a long time ago at
- 17:40Speaker 2: Disney he was taking Xenadrin before it was like pulled
- 17:46Speaker 2: and put back on the market. It was a diet drug.
- 17:49Speaker 2: It caused him to have an esophageal spasm in front
- 17:54Speaker 2: of a bunch of guests while he was performing a
- 17:56Speaker 2: show at Interventions.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I didn't know if that was a real thing or not.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It is a real thing, and it is basically it's
- 18:04Speaker 2: what it sounds like. Your sophae is like spasming, and
- 18:08Speaker 2: it feels similar to heart attack. That's why she was
- 18:10Speaker 2: grabbing her chest. My friend thought he was having a
- 18:12Speaker 2: heart attack. But it's just like stress or blockage. Anyway,
- 18:18Speaker 2: moving on, next question.
- 18:21Speaker 4: What is the name of Roses, doctor Antho?
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yes, doctor, I think she wants the real name.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I want the real name, doctor Wallerstein.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I thought it was okay.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I'm giving Anthe a bonus point because it's my quin.
- 18:49Speaker 1: It's gonna be okay.
- 18:56Speaker 2: According to Dorothy, what did Rose think she was? One
- 19:01Speaker 2: year after three? Margarita's Margitas Mauritas.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yes, Kristin the animated broom from Fantasia.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Oh yeah, jump back, Loretta.
- 19:16Speaker 5: You are good.
- 19:17Speaker 4: You probably did really good in school with note writing.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I'm very much a note taker.
- 19:22Speaker 4: That's amazing. I'm not so.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but you have a lot of friends, Antho, So
- 19:29Speaker 2: just like different accomplishments.
- 19:31Speaker 4: You know, specially, Oh, you don't have any friends. No,
- 19:35Speaker 4: she does, and that's it.
- 19:40Speaker 2: No, Kristin has a ton of friends. I just like
- 19:43Speaker 2: to throw I like to throw some Dorothy shade at
- 19:46Speaker 2: her every once in a while. Watch when she tries someday,
- 19:49Speaker 2: when you come back, if Rose is the villain again,
- 19:51Speaker 2: and I explain that Rose is a villain, sometimes I
- 19:55Speaker 2: sell it too hard, and she has to defend her
- 19:58Speaker 2: sourd's character, and so she will defend Rose with a vengeance.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But let's move on.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I like it.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Let's move Okay. What did the souvenir T shirts at
- 20:08Speaker 2: the train station in Heaven Suburbs say, Gina? Are you serious?
- 20:15Speaker 1: Okay, Gina, today's the first day of the end of
- 20:18Speaker 1: your life.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's it, the souvenir T shirt right on
- 20:24Speaker 2: the two things. I'm sorry what I'm done.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Because I didn't want to specify because you might move
- 20:32Speaker 3: on to another question.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna wow, I'm very proud. We don't want to
- 20:37Speaker 1: get travel and being good.
- 20:41Speaker 2: How did uncle Yo Hansen die Kristen.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yes, the shovel to the mouth, steam shovel, shovel to
- 20:51Speaker 1: the mouth.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and that's why he talked funny?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Sorry is your is your buzzer working? Anthough? I'm just curious?
- 21:01Speaker 4: Yeah. I got a lot of notes, but I didn't
- 21:02Speaker 4: write to write things down.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Okay, oh wow wow. For those of you who can't
- 21:09Speaker 2: hear what middle Finger went up, it was Jane's Sorry
- 21:17Speaker 2: quick man, this next one. I'm quite proud of this.
- 21:24Speaker 2: A whore, A slut, a tramp. It's all the same.
- 21:27Speaker 2: But what word did Blanche actually say?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Gina?
- 21:33Speaker 2: Oh, Gene, Oh, what what's happening? Why is your hand up?
- 21:39Speaker 4: I was going to try and answer, Okay, well, the.
- 21:43Speaker 2: People who said their names are gonna, it's okay, you're pretty,
- 21:47Speaker 2: you know you were first.
- 21:49Speaker 5: It's poor.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Yes, abhor is the word God bless.
- 21:55Speaker 1: You and your jeans. And it was like he buzzed in.
- 21:59Speaker 1: He's like yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 4: In my mind, I was trying to get the word right.
- 22:05Speaker 5: I was like, Oprah four.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I had to explain what say it?
- 22:14Speaker 3: So abhorror? People think it's a horror. My mom used
- 22:18Speaker 3: to have a similar confusion when I would tell her
- 22:20Speaker 3: I was going to my horror book club. She thought
- 22:23Speaker 3: it was horror club.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Go to my horror club.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Don't different kind of club?
- 22:31Speaker 2: A lot less blood at a whore book club? All right, Jesus,
- 22:38Speaker 2: just for reference of those of us playing the game again,
- 22:41Speaker 2: please say your name and maybe use jeopardy rules if
- 22:45Speaker 2: you have any hope of getting any points. What is this?
- 22:50Speaker 6: I don't know?
- 22:52Speaker 3: All right?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah? Whose guest bathroom is being wallpapered by Gina Marie
- 22:57Speaker 2: Donna Telly's cousin Joe, Kristen, Oh.
- 23:02Speaker 7: Yes, Kristen, Tony Bennett all right, yeah, I love Okay,
- 23:10Speaker 7: what chases the blues away for Rose?
- 23:17Speaker 1: Gina?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Gina was first?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Was it a butterscotch Lifesaver?
- 23:24Speaker 3: M no, can I checked?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Kristen? You were next? Yeah, look at her dancing in her.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Seat, fuckingstic Tangerine Lifesavers.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and I gotta tell you, the Tangerine Lifesavers were
- 23:41Speaker 2: very good. Not as good as the Tangerine Altoyd Sours,
- 23:46Speaker 2: but they were.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Get the ones that were like a book at Christmas.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, remember how that used to be two sides. They
- 23:57Speaker 2: still kind of make those now, but it's like one
- 24:00Speaker 2: side and like for sleeves, and they're all like the
- 24:03Speaker 2: five flavors that suck anyway, Fuck you, fuck you, cheap ass,
- 24:09Speaker 2: fucking money making sons of bitches. Moving on, please give
- 24:17Speaker 2: me the name of Roses new roommate though, Oh Steff.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Wow, yeah he said, I'm not taking I'm answering this
- 24:29Speaker 1: fucking that's right.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Yeah, God damn, I.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Got a bonus point question you could have done Aaron. Okay,
- 24:37Speaker 4: what does step say when she offers her the life savers?
- 24:40Speaker 4: What is her response?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Oh uh, sorry, I don't do the hard stuff.
- 24:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I like the heart, Yeah, because didn't.
- 24:49Speaker 1: She asked for osana, was asked for a valium, A valium.
- 24:54Speaker 2: And your lifesaver. Yeah. I okay, it's time for everyone's
- 25:01Speaker 2: favorite finish the line line. All right, so Sophia says,
- 25:06Speaker 2: with a story, you get a point. With an anecdote, Gina, yes,
- 25:12Speaker 2: pure entertainment, yep. Okay, all right, perfect, perfect, two questions
- 25:20Speaker 2: left here. No one but Kristin can win. Let's just
- 25:23Speaker 2: see how we do.
- 25:24Speaker 1: That's okay, we'll still fucker shut up, I mean, go Kristen.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I'm already anticipating there will be oh rolling and grumbles.
- 25:34Speaker 2: This next question is going to be one that gets
- 25:37Speaker 2: me in trouble, and I'm sure of it. But when
- 25:40Speaker 2: Rose leans against the intercom trying to make friends with
- 25:43Speaker 2: the doorman, and the dorman tells her that he's in
- 25:47Speaker 2: a relationship with one twenty two, what is in the
- 25:50Speaker 2: painting behind.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Rose, Kristin?
- 25:56Speaker 2: Is this the pink flamingo with the tree? That's I
- 26:03Speaker 2: know it was an abstract.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I can tell you about the woman with the fans.
- 26:07Speaker 3: That's written down. I write down everything in a room
- 26:10Speaker 3: now yeah.
- 26:12Speaker 2: The lady with the fans was too obvious. I wanted Okay, yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 4: There was.
- 26:19Speaker 3: I liked the pink filming painting.
- 26:20Speaker 1: That's what we're going to talk about. The pillow or
- 26:23Speaker 1: is that a question?
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know. I didn't. I didn't do the
- 26:28Speaker 2: pillow because Kristen likes cat so much. I knew she'd
- 26:31Speaker 2: see it.
- 26:31Speaker 1: It was like an abstract kind of it would be
- 26:33Speaker 1: too easy.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she hugged it. Yeah, yeah, all right, last question.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Definitely not anybody's game. Yes, this is a fill in
- 26:43Speaker 2: the blank version of finish the line, So please let
- 26:47Speaker 2: me finish the line and then give me the word
- 26:50Speaker 2: for the blank. Tony Bennett may have left his heart
- 26:53Speaker 2: in San Francisco, but he left his blank on Blanche's radiator.
- 26:58Speaker 4: M I must have fallen asleep.
- 27:02Speaker 3: I don't even remember that line.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I don't either.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Well, you guys do like to talk to each other
- 27:10Speaker 2: during an opportune times.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You get a point.
- 27:13Speaker 2: So Blanche alludes to the fact that she dated Tony
- 27:16Speaker 2: Bennett because she says Tony Bennett always treated her really nicely,
- 27:20Speaker 2: and they said you went out with Tony Bennett, And
- 27:22Speaker 2: she says, Tony Bennett may have left his heart in
- 27:25Speaker 2: San Francisco, but he left his shorts on my radiator.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I was gonna guess, Wallet, I know you.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Didn't even do the Dean Martin Laberaci, Don Rickles, and
- 27:36Speaker 3: Mitzy Gainer. I'm sure that was a shoe in.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and he didn't serious, irony, I was expecting that
- 27:45Speaker 4: as a question.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Are we writing down his address? I don't know that.
- 27:50Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 27:54Speaker 4: What was Rose's new apartment number?
- 27:57Speaker 2: Oh shit, I don't know, one twelve one.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I saw him right down and.
- 28:10Speaker 5: How dare you? How could you see?
- 28:14Speaker 1: She probably just saw you taking another.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Turn.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I'm looking in your glasses.
- 28:22Speaker 2: She really does need to win. Now, I will tell you, Antho,
- 28:25Speaker 2: and we've only recently sort of come up with this,
- 28:28Speaker 2: and it's in pieces over here to my left. You
- 28:30Speaker 2: can't see it yet because it's not done. But we
- 28:33Speaker 2: have decided that for our guests, that we will be
- 28:35Speaker 2: doing a cumulative best score for the season for guests,
- 28:43Speaker 2: for the guests, and there will be a trophy that
- 28:46Speaker 2: goes out. Now, I will tell you you did not
- 28:49Speaker 2: do awesome this this last game, but but you won. Well,
- 28:56Speaker 2: he didn't win before, Gino one before, but he.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Got good amount of points. We're totally oh.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because that last week was when Gina smoked
- 29:05Speaker 2: you for the second time. Do you remember that.
- 29:06Speaker 4: I do. I'm I'm still recovering.
- 29:11Speaker 3: That's why I came back.
- 29:13Speaker 2: The thing is, if we like you and you want
- 29:16Speaker 2: to come back, you have a chance to earn more
- 29:18Speaker 2: points and take better notes in the future episode. But
- 29:22Speaker 2: there will be a trophy at the end of this
- 29:24Speaker 2: episode or at the end of the season, and then
- 29:26Speaker 2: I guess we'll have to do one at the end
- 29:28Speaker 2: of each season now like a cheesecake. Oh, it's better
- 29:33Speaker 2: than that. This one is based on the fact that
- 29:35Speaker 2: Gina and I were previously obsessed with the low McDonald's toys,
- 29:39Speaker 2: So it's going to revolve around eight tiny McDonald's things.
- 29:45Speaker 4: That's Co're welcome.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. And then I'm.
- 29:51Speaker 4: The happy maled toy from last month because there was
- 29:53Speaker 4: a random pumpkin bucket and you probably have it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Aaron, Yep, she sure does the boo bucket. I don't
- 29:59Speaker 1: go to McDonald She bought so many toys.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Is that the one I'm supposed to be getting.
- 30:11Speaker 4: That's it.
- 30:12Speaker 3: She'll make it to the pace. She's taking seven for sure.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Oh awesome, all right, we'll get before the comet kills
- 30:21Speaker 1: us all twenty eight. I love it.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, where did I put the bag? Damn it? I
- 30:27Speaker 2: moved the bag. Finally. I have a bag with like
- 30:29Speaker 2: thirty of them. I was going to show the mass volume.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I ate so many fucking happy meals that even Abby
- 30:35Speaker 2: wouldn't eat a hamburger.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Like.
- 30:37Speaker 2: It got to a point where she was like, I
- 30:39Speaker 2: don't I don't want this, and then and then we
- 30:42Speaker 2: went yeah, She's like, how are your arteries? Asshole? And
- 30:45Speaker 2: then we went through chicken nuggets for a while because
- 30:48Speaker 2: they have a four piece chicken nugget and she was like,
- 30:51Speaker 2: I don't like this. So we we have not really
- 30:55Speaker 2: gone to McDonald's much. I did go to get the
- 30:59Speaker 2: adult happy that they have.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I went twice.
- 31:06Speaker 2: It was just like nostalgia stuff where they were doing
- 31:10Speaker 2: like these little boxes and stuff them.
- 31:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 2: When I tried to go the second time, I was
- 31:17Speaker 2: given one without a toy. I was saying loud about it.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 2: So now I don't go there at all. And I
- 31:24Speaker 2: broke up with DoorDash because I'm trying to be less fat.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I've been cooking a lot.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Does that break up? It's going good?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Like six six days in I think to no door?
- 31:36Speaker 4: Right? Do you normally door dash daily?
- 31:40Speaker 3: Oh?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Like crazy? Yeah? If you If you have severe anxiety
- 31:44Speaker 2: and you also have a job that's as high stress
- 31:47Speaker 2: as my job is, you don't have the like bandwidth
- 31:51Speaker 2: to cook at like six o'clock at night when you
- 31:54Speaker 2: finally wander away from your desk. Kristen's laughing because I
- 31:57Speaker 2: didn't go. We have a pewee harmon word of the
- 32:01Speaker 2: day here, bandwidth, because we all have heard it from
- 32:06Speaker 2: our therapists, like grace, fuck your grace. All right, Well,
- 32:17Speaker 2: anth you've been a delight again. Is there anything that
- 32:20Speaker 2: you wanna you know, oh villain, you're jumping ta. I
- 32:25Speaker 2: don't know what's happening.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Let's talk about fuck you then we sure do so.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Playing Liz was Deborah May. She was on Days of
- 32:38Speaker 1: Our Lives, YR, Walking Dead. Rosanna Huffman was Stephanie. She
- 32:43Speaker 1: was on Murder one and Murder. She wrote Wants a Murder.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Nat Bernstein was Doctor Wallerstein. He was a producer on
- 32:54Speaker 1: Doogie Howser, not even an actor. The voice of the
- 32:59Speaker 1: Dorman was Pope. He did a lot of voiceover work.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I know that name.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I wrote esophageal spasms caused a near death experience, but
- 33:10Speaker 1: we knew that. Let's see. So Rosanna was in Murder
- 33:13Speaker 1: she wrote, and a lot of the Golden Girls guested
- 33:16Speaker 1: on that show. Did you watch that a lot? Erin
- 33:19Speaker 1: m see all the girls on there?
- 33:22Speaker 4: Yes?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Okay, I think so.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I mean it's been a while. I don't watch that
- 33:27Speaker 2: as often as I watch Say This or Dig Josephs Murder,
- 33:31Speaker 2: Diagnosis Murder. Betty White plays Dick van Dyke. She plays
- 33:37Speaker 2: Dick Van Dyke's sister, and she's like a high powered
- 33:40Speaker 2: business executive. It is the funniest episode because she is
- 33:44Speaker 2: nothing like Betty White and anything else.
- 33:47Speaker 4: Well, that's like watching Lake Placid.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I love her like she's got.
- 33:54Speaker 4: Or the one with the Sandra Bullock where she's savage show. Yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 4: it's fun.
- 34:03Speaker 5: Fact.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Did you hear that Jamie Lee Curtis is going to
- 34:08Speaker 4: revamp the Murder she wrote and stars an updated Jessica.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Interesting?
- 34:15Speaker 1: No, I did not, that'd be cool.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I'd watch it.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I like Jamie Lee Curtis.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah, could Sorry, g you know I didn't mean to hijack.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Please continue, Okay, just a couple more things.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they referenced playing canasta, which is a rummy type
- 34:31Speaker 1: card game. They referenced Shirley McLain dying. Shirley McLain was
- 34:37Speaker 1: an actress. She believed in reincarnation and that she had
- 34:41Speaker 1: lived lives before. So they were just taking the chab
- 34:43Speaker 1: at her.
- 34:44Speaker 4: That's Wesa from Still Magnollen.
- 34:47Speaker 1: So that's what I got. Who is our villain, Blanche me?
- 34:52Speaker 4: I think the villain was her roommate, the new bitch
- 34:54Speaker 4: that wanted the hard stuff. It was nasty the whole time.
- 35:00Speaker 1: It was bland.
- 35:03Speaker 2: It was Blanche. I am ready to go for you.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 35:07Speaker 1: I'm ready.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Hell it's a tail.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Oh this is not a tail. This these are just
- 35:13Speaker 2: actual facts I wrote down. I don't even really have
- 35:16Speaker 2: to spin this. Blanche was. Yeah, Blanche was especially rare
- 35:20Speaker 2: form today. First of all, she starts the episode off
- 35:24Speaker 2: by complaining about a Latin bus boy. We didn't need
- 35:28Speaker 2: to know he was Latin. You race this piece of
- 35:30Speaker 2: shit too.
- 35:32Speaker 1: We're in Miami.
- 35:32Speaker 5: There's a lot of.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Hispanic.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Two, she makes Rose feel bad about not having
- 35:40Speaker 2: cake for them, to the point where this over stretched
- 35:43Speaker 2: person is like, I probably could bake another cake.
- 35:46Speaker 5: Fuck you.
- 35:48Speaker 2: A cake? Yeah you need a wedding cake. She calls
- 35:53Speaker 2: the doctor a jew, which is fine. I mean he
- 35:57Speaker 2: may have been Jewish, but come on, don't play into stereotypes, bitch.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Then she says she's happy Roses leaving and tries to
- 36:07Speaker 2: get other people to go it's fucked. She's incredibly self centered.
- 36:17Speaker 2: There's a whole scene where she's talking about how she's
- 36:19Speaker 2: other than missing. Oh shit, I can't think of the celebrity,
- 36:22Speaker 2: she said. Now, but other than this celebrity, she's the
- 36:25Speaker 2: most talented, beautiful, kind, lovely person to come out of
- 36:29Speaker 2: the South. Yes, yeah, fuck you get another point, Dolly Parton,
- 36:34Speaker 2: Dolly part Yeah, you can have a point at it.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Dolly Parton is the best thing to come out of
- 36:41Speaker 2: the South. You trash, all right. Next up, they're sitting
- 36:45Speaker 2: at the table and she's like, I can't believe I
- 36:47Speaker 2: don't have a date. She's just finished this whole self
- 36:49Speaker 2: centered thing, and Dorothy's like, well I don't have a date, Blanche,
- 36:53Speaker 2: And then she's like shitty to her, like yeah, well,
- 36:56Speaker 2: I don't understand why you're telling me that what's the
- 36:58Speaker 2: point you never have a date? Yeah, fuck you, Blanche,
- 37:02Speaker 2: you stupid slut.
- 37:04Speaker 1: O nasty to Blanche.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I really don't hate Blanche, but this is the game
- 37:09Speaker 2: I have to play.
- 37:09Speaker 1: The game you charged up she is.
- 37:15Speaker 2: When you guys picked Blanche. There's almost always a way
- 37:18Speaker 2: for me to find some way to play the racism
- 37:20Speaker 2: card because of being from the South.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Yeah, it's her heritage from the sound what does that mean?
- 37:28Speaker 4: The slut too.
- 37:33Speaker 1: So it was weird in this episode, like it kind
- 37:35Speaker 1: of shifted gears though, because Betty White's characters like I
- 37:39Speaker 1: got beach friends and then it's like, oh I lost
- 37:41Speaker 1: touch with my beach friends. Like they didn't bother to
- 37:44Speaker 1: cast anyone. They're like, we'll just put her with new roommates. Yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I particularly enjoy the fun conversation that she has or
- 37:52Speaker 2: that Dorothy has with the guy that I'm assuming has
- 37:55Speaker 2: blue balls, because.
- 37:59Speaker 5: You will not die of that. Yeah, no, Rose, I don't.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, And like how old are these people? Also,
- 38:11Speaker 2: Like I think that's why it was a little ambiguous,
- 38:15Speaker 2: and that we didn't see them as well too, Like
- 38:18Speaker 2: did they hear one too many Saint oh love stories?
- 38:21Speaker 1: Is that why pissed them off? Yeah?
- 38:25Speaker 2: Did she have to crawl home blocks.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Out when Liz tells her we're not we're just roommates.
- 38:34Speaker 4: We're not friends.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't know you.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, anyway, well that was splanche. The villain Rose
- 38:43Speaker 2: had to crawl home with her tail between your legs.
- 38:47Speaker 1: They didn't.
- 38:48Speaker 3: They just let her right back and they went back
- 38:50Speaker 3: to making their little Sundays.
- 38:51Speaker 1: They didn't go tell her how they felt. They just
- 38:53Speaker 1: were like, I think she's ready to come.
- 38:55Speaker 4: In the days before cheesecake, they had dryers, ice cream.
- 38:59Speaker 5: Bold.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Ice cream, and prison bowls.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Prison do the prison?
- 39:06Speaker 2: Prison?
- 39:06Speaker 1: Dog bowls?
- 39:10Speaker 2: Sis? Me? How do I end up in doggy prison?
- 39:15Speaker 1: You keep trying to burrow down to the neighbors, that's
- 39:18Speaker 1: how you do it.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because you said ice cream and then you said
- 39:23Speaker 2: prison ball around heard doggy prison ice cream.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Oh so that sounds good to you?
- 39:29Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:30Speaker 3: I mean five years for excessive tapping.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Fuck, you're gonna get a life sentence deserved. What is
- 39:41Speaker 2: that concurrent.
