- 1:39Just say hello. We love you Alex is what did you
- 1:45pick? I chose 2002 fear.com this week.
- 1:53This has been brought up more than a few times over past
- 1:57episodes. Bartok from Onyx the Fortuitous
- 2:05is in this movie. Crazy, crazy.
- 2:07Who, who, Who are they in the movie?
- 2:10He was psyched. Yeah, the detective.
- 2:14The guy that gets got at the end.
- 2:17Yeah, that's right. Not Stephen Dorff, though.
- 2:21No, I was not. Stephen Dorff's partner.
- 2:22Yeah, yeah. That's, Yep.
- 2:24Stephen Dorff is Mike. And if anyone hasn't seen
- 2:30fear.com yet by this point, it has been 20 something odd
- 2:36fucking years. Fucking it's been about that
- 2:39long since I watched it. Yeah.
- 2:44It's just it's a movie about people who go on a website and
- 2:50two days later they end up dead or they kill themselves before
- 2:53the two days are over. Yep, that's pretty much the
- 2:56movie. Because their fears come true.
- 3:00It's almost like a pseudo ring film.
- 3:03Yeah, very much so. It is a little bit like the
- 3:04ring, isn't it? Yeah, very, very much so.
- 3:08You know what though? I'm going to say this.
- 3:10As a kid, this movie would be on Cinemax all the time.
- 3:16For some reason, as a younger man, a child, this young boy
- 3:23seemed a lot scarier and more fucked up than what it is.
- 3:28Seeing it now in my 30s, it's not as bad at all.
- 3:34You know that as I remember, it's really not.
- 3:38And because you could talk about like, quote UN quote gore, there
- 3:42really is none here. The scares, it's got some good
- 3:46scares, but I think the thing that I'm now seeing and I'm not
- 3:51I I thought this was more because that's been so long.
- 3:55It's been 20 something years since I've seen the film.
- 3:58I thought this was more of a website thing.
- 4:02And it is. But this is more like
- 4:04supernatural, psychological, not just like, hey, there's a
- 4:07website out there that people are being murdered on.
- 4:10We have to figure out who's hosting the site, you know, and
- 4:14all this and, you know, using the site.
- 4:16This is like, hey, there's supernatural element, which is
- 4:19briefly touched on. The movie's kind of all over the
- 4:22place at points where it's like they bring in the guy who wrote
- 4:25the book and and they never go back to that.
- 4:29And it's like, OK, where are we at here?
- 4:32But that's just my gripes with it because I remember it being a
- 4:35lot scarier, more fucked up as a child and now it's the.
- 4:41Imagery. It's more the.
- 4:43Imagery, but even. That I'm not.
- 4:45I wasn't pressed about a. Lot of the the violence in the
- 4:51movie, it's very like there is, it's the insinuation of
- 4:54violence, like there's a whole, should we just say spoilers
- 4:57right off the RIP? Yeah, it's 20 year old Louis.
- 5:01Yeah, You know, yeah. Go, go watch it if you haven't.
- 5:03I, I thought I liked it. I mean, it was, it was all over
- 5:07the place. And I think that was like a
- 5:08stylistic choice partially. But it was. 2000s.
- 5:13Yeah, the great. Like the premise of the movies,
- 5:17there's like a website, and if you go to the website, it
- 5:19somehow knows who you are and like what you're afraid of and
- 5:23then makes those things happen. That's where the supernatural
- 5:26bend comes in, 'cause I thought it was like it knows who you are
- 5:31and then it like lures you to a place or that's the scare.
- 5:35Is that it? Which is what I thought as a
- 5:36kid. Yeah, but it turns out to be
- 5:40like a like a spirit based like ghost type thing.
- 5:46But there is also a guy running a like a.
- 5:50What did you guys call it? It's a red room.
- 5:53A red room where he's like torturing people on camera or
- 5:59whatever and they get to participate.
- 6:02It's like a live stream, you know, he's a real Twitch
- 6:05pioneer, this guy. But the the movie mostly focuses
- 6:11on that. And then I'll spread throughout.
- 6:14There's these supernatural elements.
- 6:16It really kind of kept me wondering because I was really
- 6:19expecting like a grounded Crime Story.
- 6:22Yeah. It was not that.
- 6:25It's there though. It's there.
- 6:27But let me ask you guys this Would this have been a better
- 6:30film had it been that more grounded, gritty, gruesome Crime
- 6:34Story? I think they would have, if it
- 6:39was like more real, I think they would have leaned, they would
- 6:44have leaned into the violence a little bit more.
- 6:47And I'm kind of glad they didn't because this kind of the, like,
- 6:51insinuated torture that would have just been like, I think at
- 6:57the time, people would have probably just compared it to
- 6:59SAW. They would have been like, oh,
- 7:01it's just like SAW, but this has been.
- 7:02Foresaw, though, was it not? Is it?
- 7:04Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:06Foresaw. Yeah.
- 7:07Yeah. Oh.
- 7:10So this would have been like a trailblazer.
- 7:13So I don't know, maybe maybe they didn't think that it was
- 7:19something they could get away with, but I have.
- 7:21I have a feeling the supernatural element was written
- 7:25in before any of that. Yeah, it's cool.
- 7:31Like I definitely liked it a lot more as a younger dude.
- 7:39And to Alex's point, I remember playing on the little website at
- 7:42school trying to freak people out.
- 7:46Yeah, there was like a whole like, Arg for this movie, if I'm
- 7:49not mistaken. There was.
- 7:51Yeah, there's a there. There's an active website you
- 7:54can click around and do stuff. See, as we were watching it and
- 7:58I was seeing it was showing more of the like what the fictional
- 8:02website looks like. I was like, I was wondering, I
- 8:06bet they made this website for like the marketing the same way
- 8:11you remember what they did for Black Christmas where they had
- 8:15the phone line set up. Yeah.
- 8:18Oh yeah. I mean a lot of movies back then
- 8:20had early websites on. Like movies don't really have
- 8:23websites anymore. Yeah, no, I remember the Tomb
- 8:27Raider website. I know this is like two
- 8:28different realms, but the Tomb Raider website, before you
- 8:31actually got to see like Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft and
- 8:35all that, but like that had like a puzzle system on the website.
- 8:38It was kind of crazy from what I remember.
- 8:41But for this, I think what it does well is the exploration in
- 8:48the fact that we don't have a full grasp of what the Internet
- 8:52holds truly, and what lurks on the web.
- 8:57And I just think that if they would have delved a bit deeper
- 9:02into that at the time, that could have been something way
- 9:06more terrifying. I don't need to see like full on
- 9:10fucking tits being cut off. But I could, I could have used
- 9:18nowadays that extra bit of oomph and shock and awe in the film
- 9:25like this. Because that's what I thought it
- 9:26was going into this home tonight.
- 9:28I was like, oh dude, it's fear.com.
- 9:29Here we go. Watch it now.
- 9:31And I'm like, oh, it's just fear.com, OK.
- 9:34Were you disappointed? Yeah, a bit because of from it,
- 9:38just it was a lot different than I remember.
- 9:41Right. And that's fine.
- 9:42It's still a good movie. It's it's, it's your.
- 9:46Typical 2000s horror movie. All the movies around that time
- 9:52were damn near the fucking same. You got this ghost ship pass on
- 9:58Haunted Hill and like it's all same dark gritty, can't see
- 10:06shit. Grungy, yeah.
- 10:10And it's just all somewhat supernatural and like it's,
- 10:14they're all like the same as just the 2000s, early 2000s
- 10:17horror movies. That's how they were.
- 10:19It's fun. Would you say that this movie is
- 10:23very much like of its time? 100%.
- 10:26Yeah, it's dated. It dates itself pretty hard with
- 10:29how the Internet's being used and all that.
- 10:33Talk about it. Yeah, I, I, I honestly do think
- 10:37if this was given another shot nowadays, First off, you would
- 10:42have to do it in a very specific way to where?
- 10:48Because like, you know, as Noah pointed out, and we all kind of
- 10:51made a joke. It's like we have Elon Musk's
- 10:54Twitter. If I don't, if I want to watch
- 10:56someone die, I can watch someone die on Twitter.
- 10:58You can't make a movie on that because we all 5 year olds can
- 11:02figure out how to do that on Twitter.
- 11:04The, you know, Overton window heads shifted pretty heavily
- 11:10since 2002 whenever this was made.
- 11:15Because like, now, if you like that kind of thing, I think
- 11:20people would see that. Like if they made this movie set
- 11:23in 2026, you would see that and you'd be like, oh, OK, what's
- 11:27this? They wouldn't really think
- 11:28anything of it. They would have to go so far
- 11:32into it for it to not seem. Like Goofy.
- 11:38Like just an overt reference to something that's happened.
- 11:42And that like this is a trend that I'm noticing that we're
- 11:45like bringing up. I think it came up like it came
- 11:52up in the Savage Flowers episode.
- 11:54It came up in the Necro necromantic episode where like
- 12:02these movies worked back then because the overall like
- 12:07experience of people back then is not the same as it is now.
- 12:10Like there was that kind of like horrific shit on the Internet
- 12:14back then like you guys are talking about, but now it's way
- 12:17more like front of the Internet where back then it was like a
- 12:22quiet corner. You had to get it, you had to.
- 12:25You had to figure that out. Now you, it's like I said, it's
- 12:27a quick search, but this movie, I still think that website
- 12:32designed for the film is so fucking cool.
- 12:37Like I still think a lot of it is so fucking cool.
- 12:40I almost just a big part of me, which is supernatural shit
- 12:43wasn't a part of it. There's a huge part of me that
- 12:46just doesn't want the supernatural there.
- 12:49And it's, it's because I just, I think that you can show
- 12:54depravity, the depravity of the Internet without it, 'cause you,
- 12:58it's just human psyche at that point.
- 12:59It's just humans being humans given a platform that is equal
- 13:04to God. The Internet is God if you
- 13:07really want to delve deep into that.
- 13:08The Internet is the literal sense of physical form.
- 13:13It's God like. You can get anything from it.
- 13:16Any wish you want is on the Internet.
- 13:19So yeah, anything you want to see?
- 13:21Yeah. So like I would have liked that
- 13:24a bit more. And I think you could do this
- 13:28properly nowadays if you just show that depravity on the
- 13:31Internet and what people are willing to dive into on the
- 13:35Internet without any thought. 4th like forethought in their
- 13:38brain of this is wrong. Because that's the thing like
- 13:42especially with like the younger kids now just able to get it.
- 13:47I seem so much content on like TikTok and Twitter and Instagram
- 13:54of like 14 year olds on the deep web, like getting onto like the
- 14:00hidden wiki and like shit like that.
- 14:01And I'm like, I wasn't I was like 17 trying to do that.
- 14:06Now these kids are just on it with the Tor browser and they're
- 14:09finding all this fucked up shit going.
- 14:11Oh, this is bad. That's like, but they're already
- 14:13doing this. You you would have to show kids
- 14:15doing that. You would have to show the
- 14:18lengths of which people would go down to get to that content.
- 14:21The true content that this movie is referencing, which is a red
- 14:25room, which is usually to preface what a red room is, is
- 14:31it's fake. Most red rooms are fake.
- 14:33They are hosted by feds or they're scams.
- 14:39But what a red room is, is a interactive kill room where you
- 14:43pay it's a billionaire killer room or millionaire billionaire
- 14:47killer room where they pay large money to tell to orchestrate a
- 14:52murder. That's what that is.
- 14:54And you get to like be involved with that.
- 14:57You're telling the Yeah. Or were they?
- 15:00Were they? Was that kind of thing ever
- 15:02real? Red rooms yeah it's hap yes no,
- 15:06yes no it's it's difficult to decipher of course it it's real
- 15:11of course something like that is real 'cause you it it's it's
- 15:141000% it's just snuff, but you direct the snuff and so you.
- 15:20Yeah, it's, it's, it's been done.
- 15:22Almost. It's you almost can't deny that.
- 15:25It's definitely happened at least once.
- 15:28Because. They show in the movie you were
- 15:32like the like do the cursor over all the tools and you could pick
- 15:36what to use and he would use it on said victim and that's what
- 15:42they would do in these quote UN quote red.
- 15:44Rooms. So what are what I've heard a
- 15:49red Room would do is like have almost like a pole system like
- 15:53knife, hammer gun, bolt gun type thing that you know, like cattle
- 15:58bolt, things like that, torture, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 16:03Evidence of it is so scarce because if it exists, it's
- 16:08literally Epstein level of existence, right?
- 16:11That is where that lies. It doesn't.
- 16:14It's not for people like us. No, we don't get to experience
- 16:18that, that we don't want to. No, no, no, no.
- 16:21That's OK with me. I.
- 16:23Don't. Yeah, I don't want.
- 16:23I don't want it and it. Happens none of that.
- 16:26Supposedly a lot of it's in the Eastern bloc of Europe as well.
- 16:31So my, it's always easy. Yeah, yeah, we fucking up.
- 16:35We, we, we gave the world vampires like Dos Ferrato, but
- 16:42hit him with a hit him with a but I mean, I, I just wanted the
- 16:48movie to yeah, I, I, I wanted to dive more into that.
- 16:52And it doesn't, it dives far further into the, you know,
- 16:57spiritual, psychological nature of it, which is fine.
- 17:01I don't I. Don't have, I think there's a
- 17:03big aspect of it that's like, like, I, I mean, I don't know,
- 17:08I, I feel like I was four in 2002 when this came out.
- 17:14That's crazy. I was not on the Internet yet,
- 17:18really. I mean, no one really was.
- 17:21I mean, people worry, but not. It was it was early days you
- 17:24had. To have money, to have Internet
- 17:26in your house. Was it with that, that wouldn't
- 17:28have been dial up. That would have been, yeah, we
- 17:30would have. That would have.
- 17:32OK. All right.
- 17:33So that would have been. There was broadband.
- 17:35I believe there was Broadband 2002.
- 17:38You're still getting Internet on CDs.
- 17:41I wonder, like, did they go with the supernatural element?
- 17:45Because I'm sure at the time people were thinking like, you
- 17:48know, as soon as they got the Internet and like, it became a
- 17:51thing that you could access. It was like this is only a
- 17:53matter of time before somebody used this for something
- 17:56horrible. I guarantee the first thing that
- 17:58was thought was OK. So when is pornography and
- 18:00murder on this? Yeah.
- 18:03Instantly. That was an instant thought,
- 18:05guaranteed, but. But it like, it kind of like, I
- 18:09don't know, the movie kind of cheapens itself by making it
- 18:11this supernatural thing. And it's like there's a little
- 18:14bit of hinting toward it, but then right at the end, it's just
- 18:17like spirits and hallucinations and ghosts and like you'd see
- 18:23something so horrific that your eyes roll over black and you
- 18:26just die. It shoots kind of tough it a.
- 18:29Little bit. It shoots itself in the foot
- 18:32because the whole doctor thing. The doctor aspect on the camera
- 18:37is so cool. Like this dude who's in a shit
- 18:41area that he essentially probably just I guess rents or
- 18:47squats it he's. Just like hanging out there,
- 18:49nobody knows that he's there, so he's just right.
- 18:52Just. Continue doing what he's doing.
- 18:54You know, that's, that's, that's cool of me.
- 18:56But then you add the ghosts and I'm like OK well the Internet is
- 19:01giving these ghosts power because of the Internet's either
- 19:07electromagnetic field or however it's really explained because of
- 19:11computers, which nowadays isn't the science, that ghosts are
- 19:17almost becoming non existent because of all the all of our
- 19:19technology. Yeah, there's a there's a theory
- 19:22that radio. We are going there today, voice
- 19:25girls. Like wireless data waves are
- 19:29interfering with the ghost electromagnetism.
- 19:33Yeah, all that, all that junk, which is a.
- 19:36That's fine, I don't. Need them in my house.
- 19:39I don't need them. I don't need them.
- 19:42I don't. I don't need a ghost in my house
- 19:44all pissed off and mopy. I just.
- 19:47Does he just want to be your friend though?
- 19:50I don't want it. This is Casper.
- 19:52That's my guy. Yeah, I just wonder what this
- 19:56movie would have, if it would have been better without that
- 19:59element. And it would have just like you
- 20:02could. Apply all of the supernatural
- 20:06stuff to being like paranoia and like the unknown of this new
- 20:11technology. It's like breaking your psyche
- 20:14almost. But here's the thing.
- 20:17I still love this movie. It's got this like little thing
- 20:22in my brain where I it's, it's like a nostalgia trip going, Oh
- 20:25my God, I still love this because there are these very
- 20:29awesome shots in this film. Like that's what this film does
- 20:32so good where it's like it provides you because it's so
- 20:36grainy and granular, but then it gives you these nice, crisp,
- 20:40clear, beautifully shot moments, especially the white hallway
- 20:45with the woman who is like all white with the blood that she
- 20:48throws up. And it's like, that is a awesome
- 20:51shot. The torture, the quote, well,
- 20:53the quick flashes of torture scenes, the implementations
- 20:57there are very cool to look at. The belt boob thing looked so
- 21:03uncomfortable for that actress. That sucked, probably.
- 21:07Yeah, it's, you know, movie magic, but a lot of it, it just
- 21:13looks like real dingy, you know? Yeah, I wonder if it's a way to.
- 21:17Everything looks gross. You can.
- 21:19You can get away with hiding shit when it's super dingy,
- 21:21yeah. I was going to say Alex.
- 21:23I was wondering if they chose to film that grungy and dingy and
- 21:29dark so they can hide a lot of what they couldn't afford.
- 21:34Yeah, I mean, I think so. I think those like little
- 21:36filmmaking tricks. Do we know what like the budget
- 21:40for this movie was? I have not a clue.
- 21:43I would like to see if we can get the director on the show.
- 21:47It is. The budget was 40 million. 40
- 21:51million, How much did it make? 18 point. 9.
- 22:00Yikes. Was there any ever any sequels
- 22:03or anything? Any following?
- 22:05Material. No, and it got like it got
- 22:07pretty bad. I mean it does not have good
- 22:10scores on on the sites. They they beat the dog shit out
- 22:13of this film, you know? I think it's very much of its
- 22:21time. It's an early Internet based
- 22:24horror movie for this thing that is like unimaginably different
- 22:31now than what they could have possibly thought for 2002.
- 22:35They probably like they were like, oh, this is the craziest
- 22:39thing that will ever be on the Internet.
- 22:40And then, you know, Fast forward 20 years and that stuff that
- 22:44they thought was like unspeakable or that they thought
- 22:48could never appear as like, it's just on Twitter.
- 22:51Yeah. You know, everything's fake,
- 22:53everything's AI, everything's real, but like who knows hashtag
- 22:57ad like it's it's so different, like it's almost like naive of
- 23:04them. You know, when they think this
- 23:06is what like the Internet is capable of, It's so.
- 23:08Much peak, they thought. Yeah, it's it's a look into what
- 23:13people were thinking back then. And I think when you put it in
- 23:17that framing it, it helps the movie too be a little bit less
- 23:22campy. I mean, fuck dude, one day
- 23:26listening back on this episode, the Internet for Landon will be
- 23:31vastly different than what we're doing right now.
- 23:33Yeah. You know, and he's gonna be
- 23:36like, Dad, that I can just plug myself into the Internet.
- 23:39Now I'm walking through a virtual mall.
- 23:40What are you talking about? Yeah.
- 23:43Player one type shit straight up.
- 23:46Or we just sound like a bunch of assholes 20 years down the road,
- 23:49and that's fine. It's not like assholes already.
- 23:53So like, yeah, whatever. No, I, I, I still think this is
- 23:58a fun movie. I like, I, I do enjoy the
- 24:01concept, even if I should have subverted expectations because I
- 24:06didn't really quite remember what was going on.
- 24:10I love Stefan Dorff though. I love him.
- 24:13The cover art makes. It yes.
- 24:18Think it's going to be a lot worse than it really is seeing.
- 24:22That in a blockbuster, yeah. I had a poster of this in my
- 24:27room. That is cool 13.
- 24:29That is cool. You know what this?
- 24:31Reminds me of this and Gothica posters.
- 24:34You know what this makes me remember?
- 24:35Tooth Fairy Darkness falls. Darkness Falls.
- 24:39Such a good movie, sorry. Darkness falls.
- 24:42I wish that was on screen box. Darkness Falls was good.
- 24:47God damn. That like similar in in tone.
- 24:51Tooth fairy. Tooth.
- 24:53That's all we got to say. Horror movie about the Tooth
- 24:56fairy? Yeah.
- 24:59I've seen that South Park episode.
- 25:01I know everything about the tooth fairy.
- 25:03Oh man, that's a good episode. I might have to watch that for a
- 25:05minute. But this movie still at times
- 25:08gave me the creepies because I was sitting in the room,
- 25:11obviously watching it with you guys.
- 25:13And there was like a minute where there was some really
- 25:17fucking like, you know, you know, scary subject matter in
- 25:20the movie. And something like shifted to my
- 25:23room. I was like, and I like got into
- 25:24like locked position where I was like, oh, I'm just going to die
- 25:27in my chair. And I'm like, oh, this is just
- 25:29fear.com. What are we doing right now,
- 25:31Nick? There's nothing.
- 25:33I don't think it's like it's not silly at all.
- 25:35It takes it's all very seriously.
- 25:39Like we say, the subject matter is very serious.
- 25:41I I'm kind of confused why it got like panned so hard by
- 25:47critics. I mean, I assume they're going
- 25:48to say like the pacing is weird and the and the editing is
- 25:52weird, which it is, but I don't know what.
- 25:56Siskel and Ebert said. Like, I don't think it hurts it.
- 26:01I think some of the pacing of the film heard it and I think
- 26:07some of like the throwaway concepts like the writer, like
- 26:11the book writer, he's used once and that should have been a
- 26:15character you returned to after finding a bit.
- 26:18You know what I mean? Like it's kind of like a you go
- 26:20back and forth with them. You don't just use them once
- 26:23while he's getting a blow. We had a bar and then go, OK,
- 26:26cool. We got our information from that
- 26:28guy. You go back, you explore more of
- 26:30these murders like the the if you don't want to go down the if
- 26:36you if you want to discuss the Internet thing, discuss it.
- 26:41But if you don't want to go down it, then go down the detective
- 26:44work. Let's do that, right, Because
- 26:48then the problem is this movie now lives in the same universe
- 26:52as Saw. Yep, you know, a couple years
- 26:56later you get Saw. So if you look at well, I'll
- 26:59just watch Saw. Yeah, because it's it's sort of
- 27:04riding the line. I don't know, people would have
- 27:09to let us know what they think. I think I I really think that
- 27:12like and I don't I don't really know this, but it that's it's
- 27:16early 2000s. I don't really know when the
- 27:192000s style shaky Cam like blurry everything, quick shots
- 27:26and slow shots. I don't know when that started.
- 27:28If this was sort of at the beginning of that, I could see
- 27:31why people would be like this is jarring and I don't like it.
- 27:33Yeah, I don't know if it's that. This definitely wasn't like a
- 27:37pioneer of it, but it's definitely one of the earlier
- 27:39films with it. But you would give.
- 27:43It a number. Huh.
- 27:45You just. Want to give it a number?
- 27:48Yes, Alex, what do you want to give it your pick?
- 27:50I'll give it a three out of five.
- 27:52OK, OK. I would also go three out of
- 27:55five. Where it's it's worth watching,
- 28:00I don't know. I don't know what it would be
- 28:03like on a rewatch. We're probably not going to find
- 28:05out, but definitely worth watching.
- 28:08Friends it's. Another 20 years.
- 28:11Another 20 years in 2046. We'll watch it.
- 28:17Sounds like a plan. I'll meet you there.
- 28:19I'll give it a I'll give it. I'll give it a three out of five
- 28:22as well. It's not a bad movie.
- 28:24It suffers from pacing. It suffers from weird sound
- 28:29design, which I think of the sound design was on par or if it
- 28:33was improved upon, it could have added a lot of more.
- 28:37It could have added a lot more elements of some good scares.
- 28:42But again, it just shoots itself in the foot with the spiritual
- 28:45shit where you could have created a thing where back then
- 28:51they could have done like this whole like there there's a
- 28:54website that people are going on to and it tracks where they live
- 28:59and they're being abducted. You could have done that and
- 29:03that would have been way scarier than supernatural because then
- 29:06you'd go, this is real because it's a real thing, But it's
- 29:09still fun to watch. Watch it with your friends at
- 29:11least once. You know, even if you're riffing
- 29:14it, just go watch it. It is a fun time and again as I
- 29:17mean it's still a banger from Alex My.
- 29:21Another very solid pick. Even though he looks sad hearing
- 29:25us talk about it. No, it's it was rose colored
- 29:28glasses. It hits you too then, yeah, it's
- 29:33like, yeah, OK. Nothing wrong with that.
- 29:37No. No, it's my first time seeing.
- 29:39I never even heard of this movie I don't think.
- 29:43Well, you said you went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking up
- 29:46stuff with this film or no? Yeah, 'cause I 'cause the, the
- 29:49first thing like I thought of was how you can just like see
- 29:53stuff like that. And I thought of like our, our
- 29:56slash watch people die, how that got like banned somewhat
- 30:00recently. But then it just, they just made
- 30:03it into its own thing and how like that kind of thing is still
- 30:06super front facing. Like you could just look that up
- 30:09and find it's not hard to find. So it kind, it kind of just made
- 30:15this, it softened it a little bit.
- 30:19Yeah, yeah, 'cause. Everything we just have, they
- 30:23wouldn't have. They would never know that.
- 30:25And most people, I think, probably know that there's bad
- 30:29stuff on the Internet and they would see a movie like this,
- 30:32like going back and be like, yeah, OK, big deal.
- 30:35Like we have that. Now, yeah, we have murders at
- 30:39home, Mom. Yeah, we have murders at home.
- 30:45So yeah, very interesting. The twist is is definitely worth
- 30:50watching for if if for nothing that.
- 30:52That special effect was great, by the way, The brain.
- 30:56He liked all that. All that.
- 30:58Yeah, that's it's probably the best shot in the whole movie.
- 31:01I was like yeah dude, so good. See some of the CGI was cracked
- 31:06me. Up of its time, Pretty much of
- 31:10its time. They had to use it as much as
- 31:12they could man so well, please let us know what you guys think
