  wonderful things and honestly, this was like the most awesome

  movie ever to be behind the scenes up.

  It was just fun to watch unfold. Should have experienced it in

  the stadium, man. Oh man.

  Oh, man knows these probably good that I wasn't in the

  stadium because I would have found some people to talk trash

  to, oh my goodness. Anyways, moving on.

  I mean, I'm, just, I'm honest, at least, I can be honest.

  themselves for your leadership, for your stuff leadership, but

  everything that everyone did to make that such an impactful

  performance was awesome. And that's not to say no one

  else did anything either. But I mean the step out of the

  shadow of the Florida Gators. This was a tall feet for most
• 5:18
  programs this weekend. So good stuff.

  So now, let's talk about it. Okay, now, let's talk about it

  all. Good, bad and indifferent.

  Good, bad and ugly, I should say.

  Where do we start? I mean, so we start at the short
• 5:33
  and just extend out to keep it in order.

  Yeah, yeah. 100 100 meter dash, has sheesh.

  Wow! It, let's start with the ladies,

  and, you know, I'm no one's surprise amiss Alfred.
• 5:52
  But there was some Carnage behind her, that was surprising.
• 5:55
  There's a people that we thought would run a lot better.
• 5:58
  I think probably the most disappointing performance was
• 5:59
  Miss Jefferson. We know after in the
• 6:01
  performance, a lot of people thought she challenge for the
• 6:03
  title and think she was seven or eight.
• 6:05
  Who's that was a cute at all. Yeah, you know, listen, I've
• 6:11
  been driving that bandwagon hard all year and honestly, without
• 6:19
  being in the room to know the play, As we like to say, he just
• 6:24
  looked it. Just looked like the moment was
• 6:26
  too big for her across the board.
• 6:28
  And I hope, I hope, you know, I hope there's something more to
• 6:31
  it. Still a hell of a season, her
• 6:35
  and her crew, and coaches should still obviously.
• 6:38
  And I'm sure they are be incredibly proud of that young
• 6:40
  lady but seventh in the hundred. And then, of course, last in the
• 6:44
  200, just look like the moment was a little too big but that's
• 6:47
  okay because she'll be back. Yes, she will.

  And you come on back but personally I was surprised not
• 6:58
  surprised that the Alfred wanted because clearly she's good
• 7:02
  enough to win it, but to see her put it together in that moment.

  Was a surprise and props to her. She deserved it.

  She ran a well-executed race. I think, you know, start to
• 7:16
  finish here in the best race. Clearly, it was impressive.

  You know, I felt like she won that race from 20 to 50.

  Yeah, that's segment of the race was better than Cambodian.

  Kim actually came back at her hard last week, last week.

  Yeah, but that's segment were Alfred accelerated better than

  anybody in the range from 20 to 22 15.

  I think that's what one ritual. I think, I mean, I'll correct me

  if I'm wrong. No matter who you picked.

  That race all year. Felt like the it felt like the

  top-end people favor, you know, obviously Abby Solera Barnes,

  whoever it felt like the top-end people would ultimately win out

  and olds and it came down to the people, we know to be the two

  best starters, just put it away earlier.

  And, you know, we talked about this and Championship racing is

  some people that it executes the race model and those to execute
• 8:17
  Is Mom there, anybody else? You know, it was clear.

  I mean favor, just wasn't herself in 100 at all, you know,

  she wasn't as bad as Miss Jefferson, but she was informed

  or behind and I'll declare made the fun, right?

  Well, I'll say this, you know, the the what was truly

  impressive, was the fact that 76 woman ran Sub sub 11 He sings.

  Yeah. And you know, I think I think we

  all know at this point that the final day is more about
• 8:58
  attrition Then anything else? I mean if you're going through

  like racing in terms of like just being free and just letting
• 9:10
  it out, you know, the coaches are telling the athletes.

  Hey, you have to run through the line.

  There's no joking around its top two in the next fastest times,
• 9:19
  you have to let it out. So when you look at what
• 9:23
  happened in the semis, I mean poof I mean that that's that was
• 9:28
  really impressive in the final. It was about nerves who held
• 9:34
  their nerve who was able to keep themselves together and again
• 9:39
  you know, I don't think Julian Alfred's race was a prettiest
• 9:43
  race in the world but she did what was necessary to hold on,
• 9:48
  you know? And and that's you know that's
• 9:51
  that's what I will say about that.

  I mean to 10 90s. I mean, took come on.

  That is that is very, very impressive stuff.

  So we talked about on the show last week, know the days to be

  there were with an Thursday. It was gonna be hot.

  Melissa Jefferson. I mean, I just, you know, give

  know that she held herself together, you know, and was able

  I mean, you have to be able to put together your race when he

  counts and I just didn't I didn't see that from from that

  young lady. But overall, I mean very, very

  quality final. Yes.

  And we've seen that in Championship races at every
• 10:44
  level, whether it be at high school state meet, whether it be
• 10:46
  at the world champion for Olympic level.

  It's the people that light up and executed a high level that
• 10:52
  they do. Well, I mean, I think that you
• 10:54
  talked about, like you go back to the Hunter, Your files in
• 10:57
  London for the men and the women that was what most impressed
• 11:01
  about those two races was because everybody got after it
• 11:04
  in on the big stage and very rarely does that happen.

  Well yeah I I definitely think and I'm not going to belabor
• 11:15
  this one. I definitely want us to continue
• 11:17
  to move on but I it was a huge advantage to be part of it.

  Be part of a team battle on the final day.

  Right because it's it definitely helps with the nerves and that

  definitely helps with you. Getting it getting out of your

  own head because in some ways you can just put that off on

  like the team like team needs me.

  So I must go right and that helps and it was it's just it it

  was for sure. In this particular case, a huge

  advantage to be part of the team battle.

  losing that race, the way he did.

  It's one of the biggest chokes I've seen and I'm a huge fan.

  in 10 meters behind stuff, I didn't you didn't hear what I

  just said. I said the snapshot in my mind.

  making This massive come back and and, you know, gets tipped

  at the line. What are, you know you got the

  But I can tell you this, when at 30 meters, Joe is two and a

  half. Maybe three meters at the very

  most from the front, I literally am yelling in the restaurant.

  yelling at because I'm yelling at my phone because I'm watching

  the meat on my phone but I'm like, it's a rat.
