- Jackson: Hello everyone, welcome back. My name's Jackson, that's Davis, and this is the Mike Check Podcast. What's up, Davis? How's it going? Davis: Good. obviously big congratulations to you and your wife on the the baby. Can that's awesome. everything Jackson: Thanks, thanks. Yeah. Got two running around now so Davis: everything goes smoothly, about Jackson: Yeah. Davis: as smooth as it can. Jackson: Yeah, yeah, about as smooth as smooth as it could go. trying to get some sleep, but other than that, you know, things are going well. So good to be back. Good to be Davis: How's Jackson: back in the swing of things. Davis: Yeah. How's J J? Jackson: He's good. It's a little it's interesting trying Davis: Taking it. Jackson: to juggle two, two under two. it's definitely he he's doing well though. He's doing well. And going from an only child to having a fresh baby in the house is an adjustment, but he's getting there. He he's doing good, so all is well over Davis: Yeah. Jackson: here. Davis: Yeah, I'm assuming you still caught at least at least a little football enough to talk about it. Jackson: I did, so it actually worked out like somewhat well because we had the baby on a Friday and you have to be in the hospital for like forty eight hours after the baby's born. So Davis: Yeah. Jackson: J J was obviously with a babysitter and we were just, you know, hanging out in a hospital room. I brought my fire stick to the hospital, just, you know, sit there, had the quad box up, hospital T V Davis: Nice. Jackson: and just watching balls so yeah, I c I caught a good bit. So Davis: Yeah. I had I had a wedding this weekend and so I did not have the quad box up, but I had my phone in my hands watching the the end of that Ohio State, Texas game. Yeah. Jackson: Crazy. That was i I we actually got home like right after halftime and I like took a shower and I was like But you know, there's nothing else on and I was on baby duty, so I like, Yeah, we'll throw it on in the background just to see and that was nuts. We'll get into it later, obviously, but like Davis: Yeah. Jackson: that was crazy. I can't believe they came back and like actually won. Some interesting coaching Davis: Yeah. Jackson: decisions there from Ryan Day, but like I said, we'll talk about that in a second. All right, ready to jump into this. Davis: Yeah, I guess let's jump into it. starting off with the last week's winners and losers. So I guess what we didn't talk about in that in that open was the biggest loser, which was Oregon and by default me. So that was that was tough. Didn't love watching that game and honestly, it shouldn't even have been as close as the score indicated. You know, Jackson: No. Davis: I Oklahoma State honestly could have been up twenty four nothing if it wasn't for a a tip ball and a fumble. Jackson: Yeah, there was there was some gifts there to keep them hanging around in the game. this was kind of like the ending of that game was kind of right in the middle of the Bama game, so I was trying to watch two games at a time, but OSU, definitely let hang around a little bit longer than they should have. But we'll Davis: Yeah. Jackson: we'll we'll also get into that game here in a sec. You wanna you wanna start I guess you started it with your with your loser. Davis: Yeah, I had to I had to start with the loser, which was me and Oregon. but to get into the winner, Camario Taylor had a great, great game against Minnesota, went sixteen or for twenty two, two hundred and twenty seven, and three touchdowns. so really showed out against a pretty good opponent. that shiny new toy that I was talking about last week obviously Obviously the people on Mississippi State had it right. He looked good, very athletic. I'm ready to see how he continues to progress as the season goes on. Jackson: Yeah, for my first winner, obviously I you know, no secret we just talked about, everyone saw it, Oklahoma State. You know, coming off a week against Tulsa in week one where they lost by two touchdowns. I had them as my one of my picks of the week in week one and they, you know, I had them covering thirteen and a half and then they just they lost outright to Tulsa and everyone just I feel like kind of wrote off. I mean, at least I did. I came on here on the podcast the next week and it was basically said You know, I was wrong. I was I missed on the evaluation of the North Texas guys on messmaker, on the coach. I feel like everyone just kind of wrote off, but gosh, I cannot believe I did not see them beating Oregon. You know, if you would have told me they'd have a bounce back week against Oregon, I would say, all right. Maybe maybe they'll cover the spread. But to win was pretty impressive, so they're my first winner of the week. What'd you say? Davis: They dominated too. Yeah, they dominated. Final score Jackson: Yeah, they did. Davis: was an eight point game. dominated. so Jackson: Yeah, they did. Davis: for my loser, I had the Kansas social media team. Did you see this, Jackson? Jackson: I didn't actually watch the whole video but I saw like some of the beef on on Twitter. Davis: Yeah, Drinkwood's called it out too, but I won't get into it too much. But essentially Kansas social media team made a video calling out Missouri for some maybe some stances that they had two hundred years ago and the social media team of Kansas decided that they were gonna take the moral high ground from something that has nothing to do with college football, nothing to do with with anything in this game or had anything to do with any people that are playing football for those universities. essentially, you know, try to take the moral high ground Obviously it backfired, it was irrelevant, kinda made him look like a joke, so had to call him out as a l a loser here. Jackson: Yeah, I did see a little bit of that. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: my first loser was John Mateer and OU fans. A little bit self explanatory. I feel like a lot in this offse in this past offseason we heard about John Matteer and how he was gonna be healthy. his thumb was healthy. he'd be a better passer. Like last year you saw a lot of like backyard ball from him, I feel like. And it worked in a lot of the games, but Obviously got injured early in the year and I feel like people just kind of thought that he would just, you know, turn some corner, being healthy and be this, you know, loose pocket passer and be able to win them some games that they weren't able to win last year. But I mean, Michigan's defense is good, but I don't think they're they're that good. he looked bad. Their offense looked horrible. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: you lose to Michigan. I know it's a road game, but it's tough. It's tough to to have all that hype of him With his, you know, biceps popping out of his shirt at what was it, manic basket or something? Yeah, he was looking a lot Davis: Looking like you. Looking like you. Jackson: like me with those with those big arms. but yeah, just like there was a lot of John Matir hype and a lot Davis: Yeah. Jackson: of that maybe got squashed this weekend with how they played against Michigan. Davis: I I would definitely agree with got squashed. I think that, I probably bought into that hype as well. A lot of it you could you would look at his numbers from before the thumb injury last year, which came in week four or five, and then he missed a couple weeks and then came back and really wasn't the same. Looked good before the thumb injury, looked bad after the thumb injury and I kinda wrote off some of that bad performance and inaccuracies due to the thumb injury. And I said, All right, well, he'll be healthy another year in the system. It'll be his, you know, third or fourth year in the system, with Ben Arbuckle coming from Washington State with John Mateer. So I thought that, you know, we could see that next pr progression up. We didn't. He was terrible. He looking at some PFF stats from him and of his attempts forty two percent of them were deemed uncatchable which was the third highest amongst quarterbacks that that played this weekend. So just a truly awful, awful game. Jackson: Yeah, and and another thing I'll mention, not to talk about this for too long, but when you have a th an injury on your hand or finger with your throwing arm or hand, like like when you're injured you have to adjust your grip on the ball to be able to still you know throw it somewhat accurately with a hurt pinky or thumb. So when you do that over and over and over again, I feel like it builds maybe a bad habit. or some kind of different like muscle memory with your grip and maybe messes with your brain a little bit about how you grip slash throw the football. Like he may have been adjusting or, over correcting for you know, these two fingers as opposed to like, you know, where his thumb is. I I don't know if this makes any sense, but you get what I'm saying. Like if you grip a football like this and you can't grip it right here, you may grip the top fingers a little bit harder. So, Davis: I gotcha. I gotcha. Jackson: So coming back from that is not always like, you know, replace the thumb, he's all good, like he's back to his old self. And it can be like that, but obviously not always. Davis: But yeah, but did you see those pictures of him in the off season? Jackson: Yes. Yeah, he's jacked. Davis: That that was not the reason that I was buying into the hype. That that did get some people. That was that was not one of one of the reasons that I was buying in. But Jackson: Yeah, so I don't know. Maybe been some over correction with with his grip and could have messed with his throwing arm and and throwing motion. Davis: I mean, he really wasn't as that accurate at Washington State, was just a backfield creator and then had Jackson: I mean yeah, he Yeah, right. Davis: this really short accurate s span early last year. And you know, and I made some excuses along with a lot of other people that for reasons why that didn't continue and now we're seeing maybe it was just a four game stretch that he you know, you got hot. Sometimes you play well, sometimes you play bad. Jackson: Yeah. We'll see. We'll see. You know, th they have a defense. I feel like the defense could keep them in a lot of these games. kind of Davis: They have the second hardest remaining strength of schedule in college football. Jackson: Yeah, I mean I believe it. Davis: So they needed this one, especially after Jackson: They did. Davis: the week the week prior that Michigan had, you know, looked beatable and Jackson: Yeah. It did. Davis: couldn't get it done. All right, so for my next winner, I wanted to call out Vegas and the line that they put for Texas, Ohio State. Didn't look good early, but You know, that one and a half hit and I believe that the overunder was within a point or point point or two. So almost dead on from Vegas in a big time game. Jackson: As always. My second winner was Sark. You know, the question comes up every time they have a big game is can Sark can Sark finally win a big one and somehow he did. didn't look pretty, didn't look like they were gonna win for most of the game, but they found a way late. So Sark's one of my big winners for this week. Davis: Yeah. I guess we touched on my loser so we can roll into yours. Jackson: Yeah, my loser was Georgia Tech. we saw them week was it week one or week zero against Davis: Zero. Jackson: Yeah, against Colorado. They looked horrible against Colorado. We touched on that a little bit. You kinda wonder like how they're gonna respond, how they how are they gonna bounce back with Tennessee coming in, the Colorado thing would go completely out the window if they could somehow pull off an upset or even look like somewhat decent against Tennessee, like compatible. but they didn't. And it looked bad. It's like they spent a decent bit of money on some transfers and it looks like they whiffed on a lot of those guys. So could be a long season for for Georgia Tech. Davis: All right, we'll go through some of the key games from last week, give a high level overview. Texas, Ohio State, obviously great game. Texas wins by one. They were down twenty-three to three entering the fourth quarter, ended up scoring twenty-one unanswered, to win twenty four twenty-three on a touchdown with about twenty five seconds left. Jackson: Yeah, I mean to me I think Ryan Day kind of really let his foot off the gas in this game. One thing that just for some reason stood out to me is when they kicked that field goal when I was twenty to three to make it twenty three to three, I mean he was clapping like they had just won the Super Bowl. I think he was just trying to get any points he could to milk the clock and milk the clock, milk the clock, and was really just hoping and praying that that clock would hit zero faster than Texas could wake up. and score some points. Jeremiah Smith obviously looked somewhat, you know, like himself. I did see something. Davis: I mean Jeremiah Smith finished with I thought I had the numbers pulled up, but I mean he had over a hundred at halftime, right? Jackson: Yeah, yeah. And I mean he was he was solid. But I read something on Twitter the other day where Ohio State has lost three of their last four games dating back to last year. Every single one of those games, Jeremiah Smith has like averaged seven or eight catches for like one thirty. So Teams are finding a way to beat Ohio State without just completely shutting down Jeremiah Smith, which I thought would was interesting. Cause I feel like that's kind of if I'm a coach and I'm going to play Ohio State, in my head I'm thinking like, if I can shut down this guy, then we have a chance to win the game. But teams are just Davis: I I do want to provide a little pushback on that. so a lot of the production from Jeremiah Smith in this game came in the first half when he was dominating. So if if you're implying that them not shutting down Jeremiah Smith, well that didn't come until the second half where they then struggled. And then you go back to last game against Miami. Well, why did he put up numbers is because they got down real early to Miami right off the bat and had to throw the ball. So I wouldn't I think Jeremiah Smith is an absolute stud, and so I just want to cautious us cautious us on Jackson: No, I do too. Davis: on drawing conclusions on some things that are not correlated but may Have a trend based on a small sample size. Jackson: Yeah, no, I agree. What what I was saying is is like he is still continuing to dominate and I think teams are just thinking like, okay, we cannot shut this guy down. He's too good. Like he is too Davis: Yeah. Jackson: good. We will not be able to stop him. So let's just focus on stopping everything and everybody else. So we're just make him the only offense. And not, you know, don't allow him to have a run game, shut down the other receivers, like and I don't know, like you said, it could just be a small sample size and I'm reading into some Twitter facts. Little there may not be as much like significance to that as Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I initially thought, like you said, but interesting. Davis: I mean, I definitely think Ryan Day got conservative in the second half, as you know, Jackson: Yeah, a hundred percent. Davis: a lot of teams do when they have big leads. Jackson: Sure. Davis: that field goal, I believe it was fourth and short. You kick a field goal to make a three score game a three score game. So, Jackson: Mm-hmm. Davis: I mean, questionable there. Gotta gotta give props to Steve Sarkeesian. Had some gutsy fourth quarter decisions Jackson: Yeah. Davis: in at the end of the third quarter where I think it was fourth and nine on their side of the field. A lot of coaches are are punting that ball and say, let's live for, you know, live for another drive when you probably don't you like you honestly need that, but if you miss it, it's probably over, but that's not how he looked at it. You gotta go out and take it. so props to him. Did see a quote with Sark after the game and they actually asked him about it. They were like, Did anything cross your mind about, you know, maybe not going for that fourth down just to play it safe and make sure that you keep it close because if you miss that fourth down, you're probably going down four scores. And he came right out and said, That's what losers do. We're out here to win it. Not gonna win it playing it safe. So props to him. I always love seeing a coach be aggressive. so glad that they they kinda came out and took it, but also just every break went their way in that second half. It was crazy to see. Jackson: Yeah, it did. Davis: I think you played this game ten times and I I think that Ohio State's probably the better team, probably wins six out of those ten games, but that doesn't matter. Texas got the win, so props to them. Jackson: What is and yeah, I d I feel like they definitely took the training wheels off arch a little bit in the second half too, which was kind of allowed that offense to open up and y you know, they were already down big, so had to Davis: Yeah. Jackson: throw the ball a little bit more and he was able to get into a little bit of rhythm. But curious to get your thoughts on the the end of the game, the very end of the game. Would you have let them score? First and goal from the one. Let's paint the picture. First and goal from the one. You have to score a touchdown. Like there is no field goal option. So you have four tries from the Davis: Yeah, I yeah, I am. Yeah. Yeah. Jackson: one and you have two timeouts. Davis: Yeah, I am. Jackson: Yeah, I would too. I mean you have what was it like a minute left? Davis: I mean, all you have to all you have to do is look at it as what is more likely you get four stops, four fourth and goal stops, or you let them score and now you have how much time left? Like a minute twenty? 'Cause they got they got one or two stops and Jackson: A minute or something. Yeah. Yeah. Davis: and then all you need is a a field goal. They scored anyways. Can you get a field goal Jackson: Yeah. Right. Davis: in? So so it really comes down to is can you do you believe that you can get a field goal in Do you believe that the chances that you can get a field goal in a minute are greater than the chances that you think that you can stop them on first and goal from the one? And if you think that it is, which I think it is, because it's a damn near impossible task to stop someone first and goal from the one, then you should save the time. You you see teams do that. It I I know it's hard to make 'cause y you got football guys that's like, We wanna line up and win every play, but sometimes it's better to, you know, let them score. Jackson: Gotta your brain a little bit. I mean Davis: Yeah. And I mean it's honestly a lose lose lose situation. If you let them score and then you don't kick the field goal, then you're gonna get ragged after the game. So unfortunate, but I yeah, I I I think I would. Jackson: Alright, anything else? Davis: Teams I do have a interesting stat about About this deficit. So Ohio State was the number one overall team. In the previous twenty-two seasons, when an AP number one team was leading by twenty or more in the fourth quarter, that number one team was a hundred and ninety-seven and zero. So this was the first loss that the n a number one team has blown a twenty-point lead in the fourth quarter. Jackson: Interesting. Interesting fact. Davis: It was a fun one Jackson: Alright. Davis: to watch. I'm glad that it ended up turning out well. hopefully the committee sees that that was two really good teams that played each other. That like what what Jackson: Yeah, I mean that that could Davis: Ohio State showed there is more impressive than you know the the efforts that Texas Tech has put on the field right now with the way they've struggled against nobody's. So Jackson: Yeah, I agree. I agree. Davis: I want them to I want the committee to incentivize these games for for us, the fans. Jackson: And I think honestly, I think the way that this game went down, like it's definitely one that could be the beginning of the committee like actually recognizing games like this. Just because of Davis: Hopefully. Jackson: Ohio State basically won the game. Texas came all way back and won by one point in the fourth quarter, twenty point comeback, like it was it was as close of as a to an Ohio State win as you could get. So it'll Davis: Yeah. Jackson: be interesting to see what they do down the road. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Ready to move on? Davis: Yeah, let's do it. Jackson: Alright, next game. Davis: No. Jackson: Oklahoma State beats Oregon thirty nine to thirty one. If you can see this screen Davis: Brutal. Jackson: right now, you're wondering, like we mentioned earlier, why this score was not why this gap was not bigger than it was. Golly Davis: 554 total yards to 281. 25 first downs to 12. Like golly, just Jackson: It's insane. I mean I there's just not much like I don't know if you wanna you can dive into Oregon a little bit if you want to, but to me watching this game from my hospital couch, it just seemed like Oklahoma State was just doing a lot right. I mean Davis: Whatever they wanted. Jackson: whatever they wanted then they had these every now and then they'd have some fluke like turnover where O Oregon would either score or get the ball like really close and they would score and keep the score. You could keep the game close. But, you Davis: Yeah. Jackson: know, if if those things were happening, Oklahoma State would have run away with this game pretty early. Davis: Yeah. You you take away two fluke plays that went Oregon's way and you just take out. Like you don't even need to say that Oak Oklahoma State gets breaks. Just take out. they probably go up twenty four nothing. So it's it it's embarrassing what Oregon put out on the field. They have all the talent in the world. started off very slow against Boise State as well. So I don't know what's up. In the first five drives against Boise State, they put up zero points. In the first five real drives against Oklahoma State, they put up seven points. So It's just embarrassing. One of the more talented teams in college football. Jackson: Would you Davis: Just Jackson: looking at this game, would you say that this is more of like Oregon's maybe not as good as we thought they were? Or maybe Oklahoma State's not that bad? Davis: So it's definitely Oregon's not as good as we thought that they were. I I think that Oklahoma State is probably around where they were before the season started. So that that that's what makes this game even weirder. Is you have this f fluke loss to Tulsa. Like Oklahoma State just lost to Tulsa by two scores. Jackson: Twenty four to ten, right? I'm pretty sure that's right. Twenty four to ten. I mean and then you hang thirty nine on organ and double Davis: One week ago. Yeah. Twenty four to ten. Two weeks ago. So Yeah. Jackson: up in in yards. Like it just doesn't make any sense. Davis: Yeah. I I don't know who Oregon has this week. I also don't know who Oklahoma State has this week either. But gonna be interesting to see how these teams, you know, move forward. Jackson: Yeah. I feel like this is one where we'll look back at this game at the end of the season and be like Well like Oklahoma State's Davis: Hey, we've seen it in the we've seen it in the past. You look back last year, Alabama FSU. You look Jackson: Yeah. Yeah. Davis: back two years ago, Notre Dame, Northern Illinois. I mean, these things happen. I'm not I'm not saying that I'm I'm trying to I'm trying to walk back my my Oregon national championship take. I don't I'm not I'm not doubling down this, so I'm just putting it out Jackson: A long way to go. Davis: there. Jackson: Long way to go. All Davis: Yeah. Jackson: right. Let's see Michigan, Oklahoma is next. Michigan wins seventeen ten. Numbers just glancing at They're they're pretty similar. Obviously the big the glaring one is the two turnovers for Oklahoma Davis: Yeah. Jackson: to zero for Michigan. I feel like in a defensive battle game that's kind of you know, it's kind of a big number. Davis: Yep. Jackson: to look at. Davis: John Mateer was seventeen of thirty-three. Threw the ball thirty-three times. Only had a hundred and eighty-nine yards. So that's a terrible yards per attempt. And then on the other hand, Michigan took the exact opposite plan. And instead of throwing the ball with Bryce Underwood, they decided to run him a lot, which I'm glad to see, which is something that we didn't really see last year, surprisingly. Like he ran the ball, but I would have thought we would have saw him run the ball a lot more last year. And then didn't see him run the ball a lot last week against Western Michigan. This week they ran him a lot. I think it was eighteen times. Eighteen times for Jackson: Yeah. Eighteen yards for eighty seven yards. Or sorry, eighteen times eighty seven yards. Davis: Yeah. Yeah, this game was just a defensive matchup. John Mateer threw the two intercepts or had the one bad interception. That's really the difference in the game. Jackson: It kinda played out the way I thought it would, with it just being a low scoring game and Michigan was able to score a little bit more points than Oklahoma did. Obviously winning the turnover battle helps a lot, playing at home, so I wouldn't Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I wouldn't read too much into Michigan being like back. I just think Oklahoma kinda showed some of the same old issues they had last season, so Davis: Yeah. I think this is more of an indictment on Oklahoma than it is Jackson: Yeah, I agree. Davis: a pro for Michigan. Jackson: I agree. Davis: Interesting enough, the first three games that we covered Texas, Ohio State, Oregon, Oklahoma State, and now Michigan, Oklahoma, the loser last year's matchup was the winner of this year's matchup. Jackson: Huh. That's a good point. Next game. Alabama and Kentucky. Forty five Bama, seventeen Kentucky. this is kind of a tail of two halves. Turnovers kind of got to Alabama early. Keelan Russell looked like a little bit of a deer in the headlights. Ryan Grubb really just kinda threw him in there. I mean, like, didn't really let it let him get into a rhythm. I feel like called a lot of plays that weren't maybe weren't the best place to start with with your with for your first road game in the SEC. Offensive line did not look good in the first half. defense looks solid for both both halves. This you know, Kentucky has 17 points, but one of those touchdowns came off a one yard pick six, so Davis: Yeah. Jackson: defense gave up ten points. Second half was complete opposite. Davis: Alabama actually trailed. Jackson: Keelan looked like he got in a rhythm. O line did well, ran the ball well. Davis: Yeah, seventeen thirteen at half, thirty two o run. Alabama held Kentucky to sixty two yards and I think three first downs after half. So just stifling. That defense that defense is gonna keep y'all in every game. Jackson: The defense is legit and there's so much depth, especially in the secondary, like I mean, it's insane. Like they're not this defense didn't go anywhere for the next year or two. I know the portal kind of makes things different, but there's a lot of these freshmen that are getting play in time. A lot of some other young guys are playing a lot. I'm excited about the defense. Offense, O line, like I said, looked promising in the second half. Daniel Hill rushed for a hundred yards for the first time, like seems like since the Saban days, but you gotta start off better, especially playing on the road. I know it's the first game. I mentioned in the podcast last week that Michael Carroll was out, so it's a big loss on the offensive line. should be getting him back this week for Florida State. So we'll need to start to start better going forward. but other than that looked pretty clean in the second half. so yeah. Davis: One of fourteen on third down is what Alabama held Kentucky to. Alabama didn't give up a third down conversion to East Carolina last week or two weeks ago. So it's a one of twenty-three through two games. Crazy stat. Jackson: Wow. Yeah, that is crazy. I didn't even realize that. That's wild. Kentucky, I Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I think they can surprise some teams going forward. Maybe catch someone sleeping. They don't they're not they're not that bad. Next yeah. Davis: This is another tail of two halves. Memphis was up twenty to seventeen at half. End up losing thirty-eight twenty, which is unfortunate for for our pick'ems. We both took Memphis here. Boise State rushed for three hundred and fifty seven on the ground, so just dominated that second half. I mean, just look at the the time of possession, essentially forty minutes to twenty minutes. Just didn't even have the ball a after half. Jackson: Yeah, I was a little upset about about not getting the cover in this one. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Yeah. It's hard to win on the road when you can't stop the run. When your defense can't get off the field. It's tough. They look Davis: Yeah. Jackson: good in the first half. I really like I really thought it it was going well for the pick'ems there. then they just kind of fell apart. Defense ran out of gas and did not look Davis: Yeah. Jackson: good in the second half. Offense can couldn't really get it going either, so it's hard to score when you don't have the ball. But Davis: Yep. I'm good to move on Jackson: All right. Kansas, Missouri. Missouri, Missouri got him pretty well. Thirty-eight, twenty-one. This game was a road game for Missouri. This was at Kansas, so big statement win in a rivalry game. I mean, Davis: Mm-hmm. Jackson: I'm pretty high on Missouri. Like Austin Simmons, we've mentioned this before, like, Davis: He's playing well. Jackson: he's playing well. Davis: Yeah, this is another one that the score could have been even worse. I mean, Kansas blocked a like a twenty yard field goal and returned it. So that was a ten point swing right right then and there. but you know, like we said, Austin Simmons, you know, played really well and Kansas's quarterback kinda struggled down the stretch. Jackson: Yeah, I think I said this last week. Kansas looked really good against a really bad team. I think they played LIU or something. so I I just didn't think whatever the six point spread was justifiable. I know it's a rivalry game, I know they were at home, but I'm really high on this Missouri team. I mean Austin Simmons coming from Ole Miss, the guy that took his job I think is the best quarterback in college football. So to me that's not Davis: Yeah. Jackson: saying much about his ability. Davis: Yeah. And you don't even have your best player. Jackson: Right. You don't have your best player in Mon Hardy, which I haven't heard any new news about when he'll be back. I'm not super in tune with all the Missouri football injuries scoop, but yeah, when he gets back, I think this team could could do some damage in the even in the SEC. Like I mean, Austin Simmons is showing that he can compete with the best. And I think sometimes you just need a a change of scenery and he's kind of proven that to be true. So We'll see how they do going forward and getting into some of the these SEC games and and if he can keep up the keep up the numbers. I did not get a chance to watch any of this game. Davis: I I didn't either, but after looking at it, Arizona was actually up seventeen fourteen at half and then didn't score. So just Jackson: That's three that's two or three of your teams not scoring in the second half. Davis, that's tough. Davis: Well, so I was checking the games pretty frequently and at one point I'm like, All right, Arizona looks good, Ohio State looks good, Memphis is looking good. And then I check Jackson: Memphis, yeah. Davis: like ten minutes later and it's like, never mind. None of these are none of these are turning out like I thought they would. Jackson: I mean looking at the just looking at the box score here, or the or the general stats, i it looks pretty even. I mean it time possession, Arizona had at thirty three minutes and B way at twenty six minutes, third down they're pretty even, penalties they're pretty even, first downs, they did have a turnover. Davis: Arizona just couldn't run the ball in the second half. Held to minus two Russian yards in the second half. So not gonna win like that on Jackson: that'll do it. Davis: the road. Jackson: Yeah, that'll do it. Davis: these are two teams that I think could make some damage in the Big Twelve. BYU's obviously playing well. Texas Tech hadn't looked great. So that that door could be wide open going forward. I'd expect BYU, Utah, maybe even Arizona to potentially, you know, contend for a spot in the Big Twelve Championship. Jackson: Yeah, Texas Texas looked bad, so the door may be open for a few of these other teams and like you said, Arizona hung with them in that in a then the first half and it's tough to it's tough to do that in Provo. So not completely out on Arizona from look Davis: I wouldn't count out either. Jackson: Yeah. Veteran quarterback, good coach, so we'll see. All right. Pick six review. Missouri, Kansas, we both had Missouri. that was a win. Oklahoma at Michigan. Davis had Oklahoma. I had Michigan thoughts there. I know we've kinda covered all these already, but Davis: Yeah, thought Oklahoma would score more than ten, obviously. So you know what? I think I think Vegas set a lower line trying to draw people into that OU line and I w if I had to guess a lot of the money was on OU minus five and a half. Kinda one of those games where Vegas is making their own bet against, you know, the market, the people in general, and I think that they came out ahead on that game. Jackson: Yep. I'll just I'll just run over my two losses real quick. Memphis, like we said, Couldn't really run the ball in the second half. didn't score in the second half. They were up. were they up at halftime? Davis: Memphis was up twenty to seventeen a half. Jackson: Right. Yeah, that's what I thought. And you know, didn't score in the second half, so is what it Davis: Yeah. Jackson: is. Texas, the one and a half thing. Nice Davis: Yeah. Jackson: nice call nice call on that one, Davis. Get your one and a half Davis: Yeah, I think I think I remember I think I remember specifically saying, Give me Ohio State plus one and a half, but give me Texas Texas straight up. So great call on my part. Jackson: you did say I I think I forgot about that. I don't I don't remember that, but maybe you did say it. All these all these sleepless newborn nights, my thoughts are kinda all over the place. Maybe you did say that. Davis: No, I definitely did not say that. That'd have been a nice call though. Jackson: I know you didn't. That would be all over like Twitter and everything if if you did say that. So Davis: Yeah. So I went three and three this week. Jackson had a little better week, four and two, which where we agreed on, we went two and one, so that's good. You're at eight, seven and one on the season. I'm right below you at seven, eight and one. Expect this to continue to trend in the in a better direction, but had a fine week this week. Jackson: Yeah, it was fine. I'm not gonna lie, I feel a lot more pressure like making these picks and like recording this and putting it out there. Davis: I know, now we're about to go to the bad screen. Should we just cut Jackson: Yeah. Davis: should we just cut this next one out? Jackson: Yeah, this this next one was tough. Davis: Yeah, that's brutal. Jackson: I didn't even like keep up with yours. I mean I knew you had Minnesota plus one and a half 'cause I was like kind of thinking I was on Mississippi State. But I was surprised when you said that, so I kinda second guessed myself to whether I thought Minnesota or Mississippi State would win. But yeah, you wanna you wanna run through yours real quick and then I'll just briefly go through mine. Davis: Yeah. I'll run through these real quick. Auburn won by thirty-five. So that was close. Was hoping for a backdoor cover. I said forty to ten final score. was my prediction. The final score was actually forty two to eight, I believe. So I mean damn near hit the nail in the head. Just couldn't get the spread. Close on that one, not close on the next two. I I gave this elaborate stat about, you know, r experience and snaps and why Minnesota it's gonna cover and why Vegas is toying with this line because of the shiny new Camario Taylor and I was wrong. Bad. And then Navy also got Jackson: They laid an egg. Davis: blew out by Florida Atlantic. So Jackson: I like that one too. I was like, I f you you convinced me with your navy take. But Davis: Yeah. Jackson: tough weekend, sorry, we'll bounce back. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Alright, mine quickly. Oregon State, I I think I kinda hit it right on with that. Texas Tech has looked pretty bad. Oregon State looked decent against Houston on the road. Home opener against Texas Tech. Huge game. I thought they could cover the twenty six and a half. They did. I thought they could maybe maybe squeak out a win at one point in game, but not quite there yet. So I'll take the cover. Twenty six and a half. Clemson minus twenty and a half was a loss. Clemson's in trouble if they can't I mean they scored twenty two points on Georgia Southern. I think Davis: Yeah. Jackson: my read with that game was like I figured they would hold them to ten or less, and they did. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: This it was twenty two to seven was the final score. Like I just thought surely that they would score more than twenty two points at home against Georgia Southern. After a week where they just got smoked against LSU. Like there's real reason for concern. For this Clemson team. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Like Davis: Yeah. I mean you pair you pair that poor performance with the fact that LSU also I mean, I know they they ended up blowing them out, but it was they didn't look great at the beginning either. And they were probably coming off of a big win hangover. So hard to really, you know, take anything away from that. But you would have thought that Clemson would've came out, you know, something to prove and that was not the case. Jackson: And they only allowed seven points. Like if you would have told me when we were making these picks that they would only allow seven points, I would have taken that spread all day long. But Davis: Yeah. Jackson: especially with them like kind of messing around with who they're gonna play at quarterback. Like I figured there would be some points scored with them playing two guys like legitimate snaps, not just garbage time handoff stuff. Like they want to see, they want to get a look at both of these guys. So just kind of surprised that they only scored 22 points. But anyways, last game, USC minus thirty. Another game where if you would have told me USC scored forty nine points, I would have taken the spread all day, every day. But they allowed thirty points to Louisiana, so just tough. Just tough. I feel like I had the right read on on the two losses, but gosh, I didn't see Clemson only scoring twenty two and I didn't see US C giving up thirty, so We'll get it back next week. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Let's let's throw that in the trash. Davis: All right, so here's the newly released AP poll for this week. Obviously got some big movers with Oregon dropping down to twenty-one. You have Texas claiming the number one spot with Ohio State dropping to six. You got LSU at seven. Michigan jumps back into the top twenty five at nineteen. Anything else stand out to you here? Jackson: No, I feel like there's a you a little bit of shuffling up, a little bit of shuffling down. Glad they moved Michigan back in. I'm glad they took them out for the whatever you want to call that against Western Michigan. And then I'm glad they put them back in. I feel like that was justified for them to jump where they jumped. I think Oregon dropping where they dropped was also justified. But, you know, other than that, I feel like it's typical week three AP pull stuff. You know, just kind of slide up, slide down. Not not too much. craziness going on right now. I feel like Ohio State being at six. Some people say that could be low, but like, you know, who are you putting behind them? Like those Davis: Yeah. Jackson: all those teams in the top five with maybe the exception of Notre Dame have looked incredible. So yeah, I'm fine with this. there's not too much to read into. Davis: I would say for my liking Indiana's a little high. I mean, we really don't know anything about them. I know that the the they're the defending champs, so hard to justify having them lower, but I don't I I think that Ohio State and LSU should be ahead of them as well. A and Miami, so that's probably one adjustment that I'd make here. Is interesting that the SEC leads the way with nine out of the top twenty-five and six out of the top ten. So SEC's looking good. Big ten, kind of struggling a little bit. I think they're two and four against other power four conferences. Jackson: Yeah. more of the two wins, Michigan and Davis: Michigan and That's gonna bother you. Jackson: Iowa. Davis: N they beat Iowa State. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Jackson: Yeah, so it's still early. I mean I know a lot of these non con games are like Davis: Yeah, and to show you how early it is, let's rewind to week after week two of last year. So we pulled the AP top twenty-five from after week two last year, so exactly a year ago. And you had Penn State number two, LSU number three, Texas number seven, and then to round it out, Notre Dame, Illinois, Florida State, South Carolina, all in the top eleven. None of these teams made the college football playoff. That is seven teams in the top eleven that did not make the college football playoff. So let's go back to this year's AP poll. I do not see seven teams that I don't think make the playoffs. I don't see five teams that I don't think makes playoffs. Jackson: Yeah, I mean Davis: And I know a lot's gonna change, but Jackson: I can I can pick out let me see. One and this is kind of walking back my word. Davis: I mean the low hanging fruit fruits here are BYU. Jackson: I would I would probably knock A and I don't think just based off what I've seen so far, I don't think the quarterback play is is there necessarily. I would knock USC. I think the Big Ten's gonna beat up on themselves enough to where they're not gonna earn a spot. and then you have Davis: Yeah. Jackson: one, two, three, four SEC teams. Bama, Ole Miss, LSU and Georgia. in Texas. Five. I think I think that's maybe where it'll land. I know who's gonna be that fifth team was is it gonna be Bama, is it gonna be A and Is it gonna be Tennessee? Tennessee's looked well. I feel like their team is kinda hiding right there at fifteen, but they've looked well in their first two games. But Davis: Yeah. Jackson: yeah, it's crazy to look back at last year and see where things are now. you did mention that we don't really know a lot about Indiana. So Davis: Yeah. Jackson: And then Notre Dame kinda you know, they look not great against Wisconsin in their first game. I know the scoreboard may have said otherwise, but if you watch the game, it wasn't like a blowout dominant performance. So, and they don't have much room for error. They play Miami, they play SMU. I think that'll do it for Notre Dame if they if they lose those two games. So, I could see some s some ways that this thing could get kind of crazy, but Davis: Yeah. Jackson: As of now, no, I I mean, it looks to me like it's pretty correct. Davis: Yep. All right. So we showed the teams from last year that were in the top eleven that did not make the playoff. Let's see where the playoff teams did come from then. Okay. So It appears that every power four team that made the playoff was ranked this time last year. So that's interesting. You got Oklahoma at 13, AM at 16, Ole Miss 17, Alabama at 19, Texas Tech 21, Indiana, 22, and then you have the two group of five schools. I see an interesting corollary with that number 19 team right there. And another team that just dropped to around 21. Not gonna say it, but Two teams that had high expectations dropped to a a school that ended up not doing well and then they found their stride. I don't know. Jackson: Hey, that y you never know. However, that team that's at number nineteen in this graphic, Alabama, for those who are not watching this, we did get bounced in the first round of the playoffs and it was excuse me, second round of the playoffs. And it kind of kind of showed that that was probably as far as we as Bama really deserved to go. And I think maybe Davis: Yeah. Jackson: that could be the same case with Oregon. Like they could claw and fight their way back to get back the playoff conversation, find something with their offense or defense, make the playoff, but when are they gonna get exposed by like someone like a an Ohio State or Texas or one of those top schools? Like you can only Davis: Yeah. Jackson: get by for so long. and and I know with Bayama it was a lot of injuries too, but we'll see. I I'm not like kinda completely down and out on Oregon, but a lot's gonna have to change for them to to like seriously change my mind and put them back as like one of the title contenders. Davis: Yeah, me me too. I'm yeah, I'm kinda accepted accepted a loss on that, but we can we can take it week by week. Let let's go back a slide and Yeah, Jackson: So I was about to say we'll go back. Davis: so big group of playoff makers in that you know, sixteen to to twenty one from last year. You got a you got a favorite out of this group to make that this year? Jackson: Yeah, Davis: Or we'll just say back half of the top twenty five. Jackson: Yeah, so I guess kind of a disclaimer, when I made my bracket, I think if I could go back and change it, I would switch out USC for SMU. Just you know, not I haven't Davis: Yeah. Jackson: seen anything on the field in these first two games that make me want to switch, but like preseason I think feel like they've looked like kind of how I thought they would look going into this season. I think SMU is a real dark horse. No pun intended. Davis: I like SMU a lot too. That was gonna be my answer. Jackson: SMU and I also think with the way that Louisville played Olmus, if Olmus turns out to be Legit, good. I think I Davis: They play this week. Jackson: that's right. That's right, that's right. Davis: SMU Louisville. Jackson: That's right. It's in Louisville, I think. Yeah, that'll be a good game. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: neutral side I would take SMU. I think it's in it's at Louisville, so we'll see. Yeah, we'll see. those are two teams Davis: We'll make our picks, coming up though, so you got some time. Jackson: and I think another team I think could sneak in there and win their conference. Is Utah. I don't wanna make too much of what they did to Arkansas last Saturday, but they smoked And they have a veteran quarterback. I know it's a first year head coach, but it's a fairly weak conference and Texas Tech doesn't look good. B why you's a big rival, so we'll see. We'll see when that game rolls around where those two teams stand. But Utah's looked well so far in my opinion. Davis: Yeah. So here's my thoughts. So I put four teams in the Big Ten in my bracket prediction. Part of that was trying to not be super chalk, so I put some some surprise teams in there. But what I did do was heavily weight the Big Ten. And they haven't looked as good. They haven't lived up to the expectations. The ACC, you know, Miami looks to be dominating, but I've been surprised with some of that those second-tier teams. I think the ACC gets a second team in in place of what I had as the fourth Big Ten team. So Jackson: Yeah, I agree. Davis: SMU, Louisville, or Virginia, I think one of those. one of those three teams are making it in. would be very tough if Louisville was to lose to SMU this week. They'd already be at two losses within the first three weeks. But I think it's a one point sp one and a half point spread. So I Jackson: Yeah. Davis: I'm not going to make my pick here, but I think one of those three teams makes it in the playoffs. Jackson: Yeah, I agree. And and maybe we'll do a like once a quarter, like every four games, we can do throw out a updated bracket for each of us, just kinda see where things have changed and what Davis: Yeah. Jackson: we think Davis: Yeah, and we still can evaluate our season definers that we had in Jackson: Yeah. Davis: the very first episode too. We've been tossing out the idea of going back to that, but I think we wanted to get at least a couple more games under our belts. 'Cause like I said, whatever you think you know about these teams so far, you don't. So much unknown, so much changes. And and who a team is today is not who a team is. in six weeks. So hard to draw conclusions from anything just yet. I think the Boise State prediction for my group of five's looking pretty good though. I will say that. Jackson: Jump Boise? Davis: Yeah. I know they lost to Oregon Jackson: Yeah, that's okay. Davis: and I know Oregon just shit the bed. Jackson: No, but yeah, I mean, that's still it's group of five school. Did you Davis: Yeah. Jackson: s I don't know who else is. I mean Memphis has looked good but I feel like you can't throw them over Boise. Did you see what happened to my group of five school this weekend? Davis: Jackson Arnold? Jackson: Did you see what happened? Davis: Did he get benched? I know he took like five sacks. Jackson: I don't know if he got probably. I mean I wasn't watching with all Davis: Yeah. Jackson: the baby stuff going on, but do you see the score to the game? North Texas fifty five Davis: Who'd they play? god. Forty four to six. Jackson: was it forty four? I thought it was fifty five six. But yeah, anyways, they got smoked. That was crazy. I didn't Davis: I didn't realize it was that bad. Jackson: watch anything, I just saw the score on the app and I didn't really look into it. But yeah, that's that was a miss there for me. Davis: Yeah, Jackson Arnold, eighteen of twenty-seven, a hundred and ninety-four yards. What you have to do when you go to see Jackson Arnold's stats, you have to go to his rushing yards. Because you're always like, you know what, the passing's fine, and then you expect a rushing quarterback to put up good rushing yards, but since the sack numbers are in the rushing yards, you look at his rushing total and you see 14 carries for negative eleven yards. So dude probably took like seven sacks. That's what he does. Just takes sacks. He just ends drives by taking sacks. Jackson: Yeah, it'd been frustrating Davis: Jackson. Jackson: to watch. Alright, you're ready Davis: Yeah. Jackson: for are we calling this segment mic drop? Is that a thing? I know it's been on our menu, like our little board on the side, but Davis: That's what you that's what you put on there, so I just started calling it that. I didn't I forgot to do the player, did you do the player? Jackson: Dude, I the one time I did the player and you didn't do it. Yes, I did do it. 'Cause I felt bad last time I had to leave early. I feel like you were a little sad that we didn't do the player game. Davis: I know, I just kinda just decided not to do it 'cause I didn't think you were gonna do it. Jackson: You mean to do it real quick? You wanna Davis: Have you wait, did you do it? Jackson: Yes I did it. The one time I told you, the one time I do it beforehand, didn't do it. Alright, so my hands are kind of Davis: Okay, yeah. Hit me with yours then I'll look at mine. What's your theme do you have a theme? Jackson: no. I can give you I can give you some like I can give you a conference if you want. Davis: No, I was gonna I actually thought about doing a theme and I guess I still will. I'll I'll just tell it after this 'cause depending on your question I might have to change my theme. So Jackson: Alright, so what the way I do it is just go on ChatGPT and a lot of times I I like it gives me five hints but it's they're they suck, so I just tell it Davis: Yeah. Jackson: to give me like fifteen hints and I kinda pick out of here, so be patient with Davis: That's pretty good. Jackson: All right. Ready? Davis: Yeah. Jackson: My first career road start came against a ranked conference opponent and my team won by more than five touchdowns. Davis: Ranked conference opponent. Five touchdowns. Hmm You don't see too many openers that are ranked that are conference teams playing each other. I can't remember the last time an SEC team has done that, so I'll think away from them. my team won by five touchdowns. Trevor Lawrence. Jackson: This is a little bit of a like not easy, but easier second hit. I was drafted by the Texas Rangers out of high school, but chose to attend college instead. Davis: Russell Wilson? Jackson: I recorded a save for my college baseball team during the same academic year that I won college football's biggest individual award. Yep. Davis: Jameis Winston. Who'd they beat? Or no, don't tell Jackson: no. Davis: me. Don't tell me. FSU beat Was it Clemson? Jackson: It was clumps. Conference game, who else was ranked? Or maybe like Virginia Tech? Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I actually don't know. Like that I hope that's right. 'Cause when I said that I like, I didn't know that, so maybe Davis won't know it either. Davis: Like Taj Boyd Clemson? Jackson: Maybe. Yeah, that sounds right. It wasn't true for Lawrence. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Or it could have been no, I think it was Taj Void. What's that guy's name? What's that quarterback's name? Davis: Kelly Bryant. Jackson: Yeah. No, I don't think it was him. He was Davis: Yeah. Jackson: All Davis: All right. Jackson: right. You got a you got a guy? Davis: Yeah, just give me a second. All right. I've got my player. I'm getting the picks. All right. Alright, so I do have a theme here. The theme Yep, Jackson: You always do. Davis: the theme is a player that played for a preseason favorite and that team did not live up to expectations. Jackson: you mean like in previous years? Davis: Yeah, yeah. Jackson: So hard. Alright. I'm thinking Texas right off the gate. Davis: All right. Question number one. I finished my college career with two thousand seven hundred and thirty four Russian yards despite only playing in two seasons. Jackson: Can only think about Texas. This is since we've been alive, right? Davis: Yeah. Jackson: 2,000 rushing yards only played in two seasons. Against a big a team that was very hyped up. But they sucked. Toby Gerhardt. Davis: All right. Jackson: I guess they were pretty good. Davis: So as a red shirt freshman, I was named SEC Freshman of the Year in two thousand and seven. Jackson: SEC Freshman of the Year in two thousand seven. Davis: Yeah, I probably shouldn't have given you the year. Jackson: Helps. 2007. So it's not Well this is kind of tricky because like he could have had a good year in 2007 but then he was supposed to be like the featured guy in 2009 or ten and then they suck. Did this team is you're allowed to tell me if the team had a good year in seven or no? Is that like the year you're talking about that they had a kind of a bust? Davis: that wasn't the year that they had the bust. Jackson: Roll through all these teams. Davis: You got the year, you got the conference, you got the position, you got the supposed good team that didn't have a good year. That didn't live up to expectations. Jackson: It's not Bama. Ellis she won it all. Florida? I don't remember the running back into Just give me a second, give me a second, thank you. South Car What's his name? S is South Carolina guy? Davis: Gonna have to wait for some more hints. Jackson: Dude, what is that guy's name? I can't think of his name. What is his name? Okay, give me another Davis: Is it Jackson: hand. Davis: is that your guess? Jackson: Yes. Davis: It's not Marcus Lattimore, if that's what you're thinking of. Jackson: Okay, no. That's Davis: Okay. Jackson: too late that's too that's he wasn't two thousand seven, he was later than that. Nothing. Davis: Right. My college quarterback was drafted number one overall, and the star receiver was drafted top ten. Jackson: No. Davis: And I was drafted in the first round. Jackson: Why yeah. I don't know why I can't get this. Davis: So not I don't think they were all in the same year. Jackson: Still though. Okay. Davis: Or no, they were not all in the same year. The quarterback was drafted number one overall, the receiver was drafted top ten, and I was drafted in the first round. Jackson: Quarterback was drafted number one overall. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: In two thousand seven. Davis: I th I think it would be two thousand eight. Jackson: The year before we went Bama was good. 2008, number one overall pick. Davis: Or I no it's the two thousand and nine Jackson: Okay. Davis: NFL draft. The year w they were supposed to be good was two thousand and eight. Jackson: the okay, I th this was okay. I was thinking two thousand seven. Davis: That was when he was freshman of the year. Jackson: Okay. I'm trying to think of an SEC school in two thousand eight that was good and that had a player drafted it first in the draft. Dude, I may not get this one. Davis: There's this is gonna this is g this is gonna piss you off. Jackson: Okay. I feel like I'm taking way too much time here. Davis: Okay. Are you ready for the next set? Jackson: Yes. Davis: I was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the twelfth overall pick. Jackson: Running back. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: No Sean Moreno? Really? Davis: Yeah, there you go. Yeah. Jackson: Stafford. Davis: Stafford, AJ Green. This is when they were the preseason number one overall team and Jackson: Mm-hmm. Davis: then got boat raced by Alabama in the blackout game. Jackson: Yeah, that's right. I don't know why I wasn't thinking. I guessed him in one of my guesses like previous week too. I don't know. I could not think of Stafford. I was thinking like LSU, Florida, Bama. Then Bama was good that year. Then I was like Auburn, no. For some reason Georgia just never crossed my mind. Like not once. Davis: Did you watch the video with Will where his question was his player was Cam Newton, but I guess Jackson: Yes. Davis: Stetson Minnet. He kinda set it up nice, but like But like Jackson: Yeah, he did. Yeah. Yes, he definitely set it up. It was good. I mean it was it was a good setup. Davis: it yeah, it was good. But like I Cam Newton didn't cross my mind until the fifth get fifth question where it was like I went number one overall. Jackson: You didn't get it by the way, I don't think. Davis: No, I did get it. I rewatched it. Jackson: You did? You sure. I I was like when I was listening to it, I like, No, he didn't. He g that was like another hint. Like once you guessed the f who'd you guess last? Stetson Minnet? Davis: I don't no, I don't think so. Jackson: I don't remember, but you guessed someone last and he was like no and you're like, it was Cam Newton So it's technically your six, maybe not, I know. Davis: maybe I need to rewatch it. I don't know. Jackson: Anyways, alright. We'll be back soon for the week two stuff. I mean sorry, week three. Week three? Yeah, I need to go to sleep. Davis: Get you some sleep, Jackson. Jackson: we'll be back with with whatever week this is, picks, game preview, stuff like that. We'll have a special guest on this week, so looking forward to adding some adding a different adding a different I need to go to sleep. Davis: Yeah. You slept a full night yet? Jackson: Looking forward Davis: I'm assuming you haven't, right? Jackson: No, d no. They eat every three hours, so Davis: Yeah, I that was a dumb question. I need to go to sleep too. Jackson: So yeah. Alright, we'll be back sometime soon. So Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I'll see ya. Davis: All right. So yeah.
