Speaker 1: All right, this is interesting, man.
• 0:04
Speaker 2: Oh carefully, carefully. He looked like me on drift day
• 0:10
Speaker 2: last year. He does, he does, Hey, I'm glad about
• 0:14
Speaker 2: that division, bro, I'm glad I'm about that division.
• 0:17
Speaker 3: Bro. I'd rather get him to play against him.
• 0:21
Speaker 1: And the fact that it's like the very next pick,
• 0:25
Speaker 1: like you guys were up on the clock, and.
• 0:27
Speaker 3: I even told him, I said, I'm coming get you.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Hey, bro, you know that Caleb Downs. How does this
• 0:33
Speaker 1: make you feel that he's going to be on the Cowboys?
• 0:37
Speaker 3: I gotta play against this thing again? He tould him
• 0:40
  Speaker 3: a thing. He's so good. He's he's good, but he's
• 0:43
Speaker 3: very good. He's very good, bro, He's very good. Well
• 0:48
Speaker 3: about him, number one, he's very good.
• 0:49
Speaker 1: So what you're saying is he when he goes out there,
• 0:53
Speaker 1: Caleb Downs by the way, Alabama, Ohio State, two schools,
• 0:57
Speaker 1: two unanimous All American selection, the Jim Thorpe word, and
• 1:01
Speaker 1: everywhere he's going, he's been the best player, the quarterback
• 1:04
Speaker 1: of the defense. And you're telling me that as a
• 1:07
Speaker 1: freshman in college, he called out all of your routes.
• 1:10
Speaker 1: I knew exactly what you're gonna do. And now two
• 1:13
Speaker 1: times a year he's gonna know exactly where you are.
• 1:16
Speaker 3: He's everywhere. Now, granted, grant hold on, he was calling
• 1:19
Speaker 3: my said one to eighty seven. Yeah, like they still
• 1:24
Speaker 3: got the issue. But he's everywhere, like you see him
• 1:28
Speaker 3: on tape, Like he's lining up Nickels safety, blitzing off
• 1:31
  Speaker 3: the ags, line up inside, he's everywhere. That's that's a
• 1:34
Speaker 3: guy that you need for that defense, for that defense.
• 1:37
Speaker 3: Definitely you're gonna need that. I mean, I just for
• 1:40
Speaker 3: what the Cowboys do defensively. I don't know, because, like
• 1:44
Speaker 3: I said, I've gone against the defense and that's not
• 1:47
Speaker 3: the defense that they run. Is the defense that he
• 1:49
  Speaker 3: plays in.
• 1:50
Speaker 1: Trevor, this was your number one guy.
• 1:51
Speaker 4: Yeah, I would love to call him the Leak's Nerves,
• 1:54
Speaker 4: but I can't. This player is phenomenal. This is my
• 1:57
Speaker 4: favorite player in the draft. This is my number one
• 1:59
Speaker 4: overall player. We mentioned the accolades that this guy has. Look,
• 2:03
Speaker 4: he's not the biggest safety in the world, but the
• 2:05
Speaker 4: perfect comp that I have for him is Antoine Winfield Junior.
• 2:08
Speaker 4: Both of those guys a little bit smaller. They didn't
• 2:11
Speaker 4: have the best combines, they didn't have the best athletic performances,
• 2:14
Speaker 4: but They are incredible football players. When you look at
• 2:17
Speaker 4: how these guys play, I mean, watch the tenacity in
• 2:20
Speaker 4: which Antoine Winfield Junior plays. I mean when he's at
• 2:23
Speaker 4: his best two years ago. I mean, this was a
• 2:26
Speaker 4: Defensive Player of the Year caliber type of a guy.
• 2:28
Speaker 4: I mean, Kyle Hamilton ended up winning it that year,
• 2:31
Speaker 4: but it was neck and neck between Antwine Winfield Junior
• 2:34
Speaker 4: and Kyle Hamilton. Caleb Downs is the same way. I mean,
• 2:37
Speaker 4: the way that this guy attacks the ball, whether it's
• 2:40
Speaker 4: in run defense or in coverage. These two guys are
• 2:43
Speaker 4: special difference makers. They could play free safety, they can
• 2:46
Speaker 4: play strong safety. They can blitz and affect the quarterback.
• 2:49
Speaker 4: You could put him in man coverage against tight ends.
• 2:51
Speaker 4: Caleb Downs and Antoine Winfield Junior can do it all
• 2:55
Speaker 4: for you. I do not understand why the NFL does this.
• 3:01
Speaker 4: Cooper Egen went in the second round, Nicki min Warrey
• 3:03
Speaker 4: went in the second round. Derwin James went outside of
• 3:05
Speaker 4: the top ten. Kyle Hamilton went outside of the top ten.
• 3:08
Speaker 4: Why are we doing this? These are the most These
• 3:10
Speaker 4: are some of the most valuable players in the NFL.
• 3:13
Speaker 4: The positional value talk does not matter for elite secondary
• 3:18
Speaker 4: defenders that can play multiple positions like this to get
• 3:21
Speaker 4: Caleb Downs outside of the top ten, no question about it.
• 3:24
Speaker 4: I don't care about the small trade up A plus
• 3:27
Speaker 4: for the Dallas Cowboys.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: Michael Parsons. There was a place that you called home
• 3:31
Speaker 1: for many years, and now that's where Caleb Downs will
• 3:34
Speaker 1: be calling home. Yes, what would you tell him about
• 3:37
Speaker 1: the home he is now entering?
• 3:38
  Speaker 2: Oh, I would say he's an America's team. It's a
• 3:41
Speaker 2: great day to be a Cowboy right now. If I
• 3:43
Speaker 2: was on this team and I saw HI got Caleb Downs,
• 3:47
Speaker 2: I'll be laughing in the least face. I'm just laughing face,
• 3:51
Speaker 2: but I'm still laughing in his face because how sicky
• 3:53
Speaker 2: is right now? Like, this is a tremendous pick, tremendous value.
• 3:58
Speaker 2: And understand, Malik hooked us on in another one year,
• 4:00
Speaker 2: so now you have stability in his safety room, which
• 4:04
Speaker 2: they like. He's on a rookie deal. You don't got
• 4:06
Speaker 2: to worry about him for a while. And you got
• 4:08
Speaker 2: Jalen Thompson signed what's two three year deal, so now
• 4:11
Speaker 2: you're locked in for the next three years with elite
• 4:14
Speaker 2: safety play. This is a great pick. Jerry Jones did
• 4:18
Speaker 2: it right. That's Jerry Jones drafts very well.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: Any other compalents you want to give to Jerry Jones.
• 4:25
Speaker 1: What is Cale down Z to know about playing for
• 4:28
Speaker 1: the Cowboys? That because he has played for Ohio State
• 4:31
Speaker 1: and Alabama, so he really understands playing for these prominent programs.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Now he's going to the Cowboys.
• 4:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, welcome to listen. Michael Irvin told me this right, Okay,
• 4:44
Speaker 2: you don't wish upon a star. You land on that motherfucker.
• 4:47
Speaker 2: You just landed on the Hey, bro, you got it
• 4:52
Speaker 2: like as a as as as big as it is.
• 4:56
Speaker 2: Take it all in, but just know you are under
• 4:59
Speaker 2: the biggest microstrop microscope. It's time to put everything that
• 5:03
Speaker 2: we believe in you onto the field. Every look, please
• 5:06
Speaker 2: have a nightmares already like ChIL
