Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Per this's media podcast. Welcome to Meat Eater Trivia, the
- 0:11Speaker 1: only game show where conservation always wins. I'm your host,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Spencer Newhart and today we're joined by Yannie Brody, Randall, Seth, Alissa, Tressa,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Anthony and Max. This is a ten round quiz show
- 0:24Speaker 1: with meat Eaters four verticals which are hunting, fishing, conservation,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and cooking, and there is a prize. Meat Eater will
- 0:31Speaker 1: donate five hundred dollars to the conservation organization of the winners.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Choosing and for the stat of the week this week,
- 0:37Speaker 1: we're looking at the odds of a game of Meat
- 0:39Speaker 1: Eater Trivia going to double overtime. In one hundred and
- 0:43Speaker 1: twenty eight shows, we've had one game go to double overtime,
- 0:47Speaker 1: which happened just a few episodes ago. That means the
- 0:51Speaker 1: odds of that happening in any given game are just
- 0:54Speaker 1: zero point eight percent. Those odds are similar to the
- 0:58Speaker 1: odds that sports books have play place on the Tennessee
- 1:01Speaker 1: Titans or Washington Commanders winning the Super Bowl this year,
- 1:04Speaker 1: or it's similar to your chance of drawing a mule
- 1:07Speaker 1: deer tag on the Arizona Strip with zero points, or
- 1:11Speaker 1: similar to your chances of getting in a car accident
- 1:14Speaker 1: for every two thousand miles you drive. So that's all
- 1:17Speaker 1: to say, don't expect another double overtime game until the
- 1:21Speaker 1: year twenty twenty seven. That episode hasn't come out. Yeah,
- 1:25Speaker 1: you guys haven't even heard that.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Why I've been waiting for to hear the drop.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Oh it's really special. Yeah, we had a couple episodes
- 1:32Speaker 1: ago double overtime. We needed a second tiebreaker to determine
- 1:36Speaker 1: the winner.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't wait for you to hear it.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Here's our Infrequently Asked Question segment. If you have a
- 1:42Speaker 1: trivia related question for our crew, send it to Trivia
- 1:46Speaker 1: at the Meat Eater dot com with the subject line IFAQ.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Ryan Sorez wants to know you've had questions about zoos
- 1:53Speaker 1: and aquariums before, so I thought i'd write in. I
- 1:55Speaker 1: work for an Association of Zoos and Aquariums accredited facility,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and I'm curious what the crew thinks of zoos. AZA
- 2:03Speaker 1: is like the gold standard of zoos and aquariums, and
- 2:07Speaker 1: there are many in between levels of zoos that get
- 2:10Speaker 1: you to the crummy roadside zoos and personal collections. What
- 2:14Speaker 1: does the crew think of zoos answer, go ahead.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Big zoo guy, Huge zoo guy.
- 2:21Speaker 6: One.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Uh.
- 2:24Speaker 7: You can go see large primates, great apes and just
- 2:27Speaker 7: sit there and have your mind blown for a bit.
- 2:29Speaker 7: I basically love spectacle of all sorts, and you can
- 2:33Speaker 7: go to a zoo and see things that blow your mind.
- 2:35Speaker 1: What's the last dude you were at?
- 2:37Speaker 5: Uh? It was either.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Clay and I went to the Oregon Zoo on the
- 2:44Speaker 7: live tour and we looked at a mountain goat.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and it inspired him to go kill that.
- 2:51Speaker 7: Going to a zoo and looking at black bears with
- 2:53Speaker 7: Clay Nukem is a real treat, I will say that,
- 2:55Speaker 7: but it was a fabulous zoo. I've also recently been
- 2:59Speaker 7: to the Phoenix Zoo. That was about a month before that.
- 3:02Speaker 7: I'm trying to think.
- 3:03Speaker 4: There was rand No, what's the best do in the country,
- 3:05Speaker 4: The Columbus Zoo.
- 3:06Speaker 3: There you go.
- 3:07Speaker 7: Actually, no, I take that back. I've been to the
- 3:09Speaker 7: Cincinnati Zoo most recently. I went there in June, and
- 3:12Speaker 7: that is a phenomenal zoo.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Not as good as Columbus.
- 3:16Speaker 3: It's the craziest thing you've seen in the zoo.
- 3:19Speaker 7: I mean at the Cincinnati Zoo, it was pretty surreal
- 3:21Speaker 7: to go see where the whole Harambe thing went.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Oh wow, think of that? Is there anything that memorializes
- 3:27Speaker 1: them when you're there. I'm surprised that they like draw
- 3:29Speaker 1: any amount of attention to that.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Yeah, they're those that don't know what's the Harambe thing.
- 3:34Speaker 7: Harambe was a gorilla that a child fell into the
- 3:38Speaker 7: enclosure and Harambe got shot somewhat unceremoniously.
- 3:45Speaker 5: In front of.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Grab the kid by the ankle.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 7: Yeah, but the Cincinnati Zoo is like a phenomenal gorilla program.
- 3:56Speaker 7: In fact, when I was a small child, you could
- 3:59Speaker 7: adopt one of the animals at the zoo, and I
- 4:01Speaker 7: adopted a gorilla baby.
- 4:04Speaker 5: It was female. I don't remember.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You brought.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Just like dollars.
- 4:09Speaker 7: They're like this some some fruits.
- 4:13Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:13Speaker 5: It wasn't it wasn't female.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you boys went to it's been a while.
- 4:18Speaker 6: I just had a nice aquarium, but it's been a
- 4:20Speaker 6: while to zoo.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Which aquarium?
- 4:24Speaker 6: Uh, it was in Charleston, South Carolina.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Yanni, we went to some I don't know if it
- 4:30Speaker 4: was a zoo. It was in Denver and they had
- 4:32Speaker 4: Denver Zoo.
- 4:33Speaker 1: There's also the Denver Aquarium.
- 4:35Speaker 6: You know what else?
- 4:35Speaker 4: We went to.
- 4:36Speaker 8: Potential chat all kinds of snakes and alligators and that
- 4:41Speaker 8: place was cool too.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I actually think it was like a terrarium, but they
- 4:45Speaker 4: just happened to have some cats also, Does that sound
- 4:48Speaker 4: like something that they might do.
- 4:50Speaker 1: The Denver Aquarium is a little weird. They have like
- 4:52Speaker 1: a restaurant in there you can eat at, you can
- 4:54Speaker 1: meet the animals if you like. But then they also
- 4:57Speaker 1: had the Denver Zoo, which is just your tradition.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Does the aquarium ever had terrestrials?
- 5:01Speaker 1: I don't know. I think I think they have some
- 5:03Speaker 1: on the Yelp reviews talk about how sad like the
- 5:06Speaker 1: tigers in there are.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Oh well, that's exactly where we were. That's these tastes
- 5:15Speaker 4: that's stuck in my mouth. Regarding zoos, but I do
- 5:20Speaker 4: have the I read an article in the New Yorker
- 5:22Speaker 4: once about I think it was in Denmark. There was
- 5:26Speaker 4: a giraffe. There were too many giraffes and zoos, and
- 5:32Speaker 4: the word got out that this draft was just gonna
- 5:34Speaker 4: get put down and be used in a class for
- 5:37Speaker 4: like autopsy purposes, and all these Californians and I don't
- 5:42Speaker 4: know probably on both coasts of this great country of ours.
- 5:45Speaker 4: They are trying to raise all they had millions of
- 5:48Speaker 4: dollars raised to save this giraft from going through that
- 5:52Speaker 4: you know, and its life and being dissected basically, and
- 5:56Speaker 4: that zoo over in Denmark was like, no, it is
- 6:00Speaker 4: it's more important for us to use this for science,
- 6:03Speaker 4: to produce more vets, more zoologists, more whatever. Then then
- 6:08Speaker 4: do you say, oh, you saved one draft and now
- 6:10Speaker 4: it has to live in some cage somewhere, you know.
- 6:12Speaker 4: And uh so a lot of props to that zoo.
- 6:16Speaker 6: They're living in a cage or not.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Like zoos do.
- 6:20Speaker 6: A lot of conservation, a very important place for like
- 6:22Speaker 6: endangered animals.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Oh yeah, And I will say, like on a serious note,
- 6:25Speaker 7: it's crazy going to a zoo, Like when you walk
- 6:28Speaker 7: up on an elk that you shot and you're like
- 6:30Speaker 7: looking at the muscles and how it all goes. You
- 6:33Speaker 7: go to a zoo and you look at some animal
- 6:35Speaker 7: that you're not familiar with and just look at the musculature.
- 6:38Speaker 5: And look at just how big they are.
- 6:41Speaker 4: It gets me.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Going, yeah, yeah, I love zoo specifically just to like
- 6:44Speaker 1: kids have a place to go look at cool animals.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't know if i'd be working here if I
- 6:48Speaker 1: like wasn't inspired by zoos and aquariums. When I was
- 6:50Speaker 1: a kid, I remember we went to a zoo in
- 6:52Speaker 1: elementary school, a zoo falls zoo, and then we had
- 6:54Speaker 1: to write about our favorite animal afterwards. My favorite animal
- 6:57Speaker 1: wasn't part of the zoo. It was walking away for
- 7:00Speaker 1: the bridge. There was a creek and there were carp
- 7:01Speaker 1: down there that were spawning, and that was my favorite
- 7:03Speaker 1: animal that I wrote about. And the teacher wasn't very understanding.
- 7:07Speaker 7: I was gonna say, it sounds like you didn't fulfill
- 7:09Speaker 7: the assignment.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Yeah, there we are, and we have some housekeeping to
- 7:13Speaker 1: get to. In a previous episode of Trivia, we had
- 7:15Speaker 1: a question about the kayak maker, who's named after the
- 7:19Speaker 1: city in Maine where they're made. He answered really old Town,
- 7:23Speaker 1: which made some players and listeners mad. The first thing
- 7:27Speaker 1: they were upset about was that I said kayak maker
- 7:29Speaker 1: instead of canoe maker. Those folks argued that since their
- 7:33Speaker 1: name is Old Town Canoes, it was a true question,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but that's not their name. Their official name is just
- 7:39Speaker 1: old Town. Further, their website url is Oldtownwatercraft dot com.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And the first thing in their navigation menu is kayaks
- 7:47Speaker 1: and their second thing is canoes. Also, they have fifty
- 7:51Speaker 1: two different kayaks that they sell on their website, compared
- 7:54Speaker 1: to just twelve canoes. And finally, of their six best
- 7:58Speaker 1: selling watercrafts, five of them them are kayaks.
- 8:01Speaker 8: Spencer, Yeah, come on, you were using a little slight
- 8:04Speaker 8: hand there.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:05Speaker 1: The other problem people had was that I said the
- 8:08Speaker 1: brand was named after a city instead of a town.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Old Town's population is seven five hundred people, which by
- 8:16Speaker 1: most definitions makes them a city. But admittedly I was
- 8:19Speaker 1: on the fence when I was writing this question, but
- 8:21Speaker 1: elected to go with the word city instead of town
- 8:25Speaker 1: after going to Old Town's official website. On their website,
- 8:29Speaker 1: in giant seventy two point font at the top of
- 8:31Speaker 1: the page, it says city of Old Town, Maine. Also,
- 8:35Speaker 1: their first drop down menu items says our city, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: in about a dozen other places on Old Town's website
- 8:41Speaker 1: navigation they refer to themselves as a city. So, in summary,
- 8:45Speaker 1: they sell more kayaks than canoes and are a city.
- 8:49Speaker 1: So suck that Mark Kenyon, whom.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Now we know them Kendrick and Drake.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Right there, there's still a new listen if they're not,
- 9:01Speaker 1: they sell more kayaks this year.
- 9:05Speaker 4: But you didn't give us any stats from nineteen seventy eight.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Well it's twenty twenty four, Yoanni, Now the shelby and
- 9:12Speaker 1: extra today is.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Winner?
- 9:15Speaker 1: Should get eight correct answers.
- 9:19Speaker 4: On to the game of trivia.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Play the draft pills.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 9:25Speaker 6: You got a warm up?
- 9:26Speaker 5: You know what?
- 9:27Speaker 1: I stand to win everything. I'm saying, just tend to
- 9:31Speaker 1: win everything. Game on Suckers Max playing the remix over
- 9:43Speaker 1: there with some extra extra bass. Question one. The topic
- 9:47Speaker 1: is wildlife. Of these states which had the fewest shark
- 9:53Speaker 1: attacks between twenty thirteen and twenty twenty two. Is it Mississippi,
- 9:59Speaker 1: New York, Massachusetts or Georgia?
- 10:04Speaker 5: Oh, I should know this?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Why should you know?
- 10:07Speaker 4: Just kidding?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Of these states which had the fewest shark attacks between
- 10:14Speaker 1: twenty thirteen and twenty twenty two, Mississippi, New York, Massachusetts
- 10:22Speaker 1: or Georgia. Seth the quickest to answer. Seth, you just uh.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You got an educated guess or an uneducated guess over here.
- 10:34Speaker 3: No, I just picked the thing that made the most
- 10:36Speaker 3: sense in my brain, which oftentimes doesn't make sense for
- 10:40Speaker 3: the rest of the world.
- 10:41Speaker 1: So which state had the fewest shark attacks in the
- 10:45Speaker 1: ten year span twenty thirteen to twenty twenty two. Mississippi,
- 10:49Speaker 1: New York, Massachusetts, Georgia. Is everybody ready, Brody, no.
- 10:58Speaker 6: Man, let's chat about this.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Let's keep it.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Going, keep it going, waiting on Alyssa.
- 11:07Speaker 4: And bro just pick one Brody. Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 9: If you listen to last week's episode, these are the
- 11:13Speaker 9: moments that I cut out of the podcast.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Before the longer.
- 11:18Speaker 8: You just get the whole used to let these things
- 11:20Speaker 8: go forever, mostly because you were thinking.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Sometimes you gotta think.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Alyssa, are you ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 11:31Speaker 1: We have seth saying New York, Anthony, Mississippi, Max Massachusetts, Randall,
- 11:38Speaker 1: New York, Alyssa Massachusetts, Tresa, Georgia, Yanni Mississippi, Brody Mississippi.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Everybody picked one of the four.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Choices, so we got a correct answer.
- 11:53Speaker 1: We have a correct answer. Room intriguing, it's Mississippi. Get
- 12:00Speaker 1: that one right. Three of the eight. New York had
- 12:03Speaker 1: the most from that list, ranking sixth in the nation
- 12:06Speaker 1: with eleven shark attems. Georgia had five, Massachusetts had three,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and Mississippi had one. Other states with a single shark
- 12:15Speaker 1: attack in that ten year span where Louisiana, Virginia, Maryland,
- 12:19Speaker 1: Rhode Island, and Maine. Question two, the topic is fishing.
- 12:24Speaker 1: This next great question is via Sam Wyrick. What three
- 12:29Speaker 1: word phrase refers to the fishing motion when you make
- 12:32Speaker 1: a top water lure dart side decide to resemble a
- 12:36Speaker 1: wounded baitfish? What three word phrase refers to the fishing
- 12:44Speaker 1: motion when you make a top water lure dart side
- 12:47Speaker 1: decide to resemble a wounded baitfish? Brody and Seth, I
- 12:52Speaker 1: think they have this one right rest of the room.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Not I jumped into my head real quick. Okay, I'm hoping.
- 13:00Speaker 1: How you feel about your answer?
- 13:02Speaker 4: Pretty good?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Okay, Johny Seth Brody accident.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Max's new father in law is a is a world
- 13:11Speaker 3: renowned walle I ged Midwest. So he's got to make
- 13:14Speaker 3: him proud here.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Let's see what he.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Does, Okay, Maxwell? A lot of pressure, is that right?
- 13:19Speaker 4: Yeah? He's a world renowned.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Seth said that he followed Max's father in law on
- 13:26Speaker 1: Instagram before he ever knew the relationship between the two.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Wow, have you fished with him? And and what does
- 13:36Speaker 4: he put you on? Some fish?
- 13:38Speaker 1: He's as good as they say.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I think I'm cursed on the lake that he likes
- 13:43Speaker 2: to fishing.
- 13:43Speaker 1: What's what's his lake of choice?
- 13:45Speaker 4: Can you say?
- 13:45Speaker 1: Or is that tell he makes a living on it?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gall Lake Inla One, Minnesota. So he's got
- 13:56Speaker 2: a kick ass pontoon that you can fish lake thirteen
- 14:00Speaker 2: out of. So he takes all these like big family bard. Yeah,
- 14:04Speaker 2: and it's just it's it's really cool to see.
- 14:07Speaker 1: He puts Max on the fish, so you know he's
- 14:09Speaker 1: good again. Question two, what still get this wrong? Three
- 14:13Speaker 1: word phrase refers to the fishing motion when you make
- 14:17Speaker 1: a top water lower dark side to side to resemble
- 14:20Speaker 1: a wounded baked fish. Is everybody ready?
- 14:23Speaker 6: Oh?
- 14:24Speaker 10: No?
- 14:26Speaker 4: Answers? He did? Did? He literally showed his board to table,
- 14:32Speaker 4: So I think I see it. I think he didn't
- 14:35Speaker 4: see it.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I think I think both things are true. Timboard, but.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Cheat replay show the replay.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I think you can go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 14:53Speaker 1: We have seth saying walking the Dog, Anthony, what I'd say,
- 14:58Speaker 1: top skater, top the dog, Randall hrkinger Alyssa without an answer,
- 15:05Speaker 1: Tresa shuffle a little be honest, Walking the Dog Brodie
- 15:11Speaker 1: walking the dog. The correct answer is walking the dog
- 15:15Speaker 1: about half of the room.
- 15:17Speaker 2: That I first had written down.
- 15:20Speaker 6: I did not from now on the motion this I.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Twitch and pause down.
- 15:28Speaker 4: And you're trying to show me.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Reminder, Randall is over two. Properly walking the dog to
- 15:42Speaker 1: proper dog, keep your rod tip low, and then flick
- 15:47Speaker 1: your wrists while retrieving the lure. It's a popular fishing
- 15:50Speaker 1: technique among bass, musky and tarpen anglers. Here's a video
- 15:54Speaker 1: a friend of the show, Brandon Polinic, catching two fish
- 15:57Speaker 1: at once while walking the dog during a twenty two
- 16:00Speaker 1: Elite Series competition. Played the clip, Phil and we do
- 16:07Speaker 1: have a camera with Keith Combs. I'm not sure of
- 16:10Speaker 1: his location right now, but it's been a little bit
- 16:13Speaker 1: of sketchy service down in pool nine. Think it cool.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I want to see more action where he caught the fish.
- 16:24Speaker 8: I got to Spencer, you didn't even show the walking
- 16:28Speaker 8: the dog part.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Well, I can't. I don't have control over bass Master's
- 16:32Speaker 1: library videos.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Right there?
- 16:34Speaker 4: Yeah, that was it the same there you go, yeah, yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It's not bad, that's right. No wonder he looks so
- 16:42Speaker 1: big caught that walk in the Dog of the.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Year, Spencer I was musky fishing three four weeks ago,
- 16:51Speaker 2: and we were walking the dog for a few hours.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Did it work?
- 16:55Speaker 2: No, not that, but I did end up catching one.
- 16:59Speaker 2: But on something else. Well, you were doing that three
- 17:00Speaker 2: weeks ago and you almost didn't get it four weeks.
- 17:04Speaker 7: Well, he was calling it something different than until he
- 17:06Speaker 7: saw born.
- 17:08Speaker 1: The question three, The topic is natural history. What is
- 17:12Speaker 1: the name of the New York Times bestseller about Lewis
- 17:16Speaker 1: and Clark that was written by Stephen Ambrose? Brody and
- 17:23Speaker 1: Randall here to know this publishing Melyssa and Seth.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Joined outside of publishing.
- 17:32Speaker 1: What is the name of the New York Times bestseller
- 17:35Speaker 1: about Lewis and Clark that was written by Stephen Ambrose?
- 17:41Speaker 1: You read it on my bookshelf?
- 17:43Speaker 3: I haven't ready. Yeah, I think it's on my bookshelf.
- 17:46Speaker 6: Though for your audio booklf.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Wow, given some Hintsiani here Randall, have you read this?
- 17:53Speaker 4: Is that a hint? Yes?
- 17:55Speaker 1: I mean he said it's on your bookshelf.
- 17:57Speaker 4: No, I said Randall.
- 18:02Speaker 1: No.
- 18:02Speaker 4: One take the answer and they use it. It seems
- 18:06Speaker 4: like what just happened and did not You gotta look
- 18:09Speaker 4: back at the cameras I was watching you.
- 18:11Speaker 6: You were struck you had the piphany.
- 18:14Speaker 4: I don't.
- 18:17Speaker 6: Side of the.
- 18:18Speaker 9: Table, and I don't think Max is good enough of
- 18:21Speaker 9: an actor to pull that reaction off.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I think that Leitimate.
- 18:25Speaker 1: We found out he doesn't like to do dishes here
- 18:27Speaker 1: at the office.
- 18:34Speaker 4: To be clear, this.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Was a.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Strated you out in the last round, man, really.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Conversation about some dishes not being done.
- 18:48Speaker 2: And so I will admit sometimes when I eat lunch,
- 18:54Speaker 2: I leave my dishes on my desk, but I don't.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I've never leave them in the scene.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Well, we'll let you sort it out with those people upstairs.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Okay, there another name that came up to Max. There
- 19:08Speaker 1: were two suspects, and I'll say you were suspect one B.

- 20:20Speaker 2: there is a plate on my desk right now.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I will say that, Okay, the evidence is the dishes
- 20:27Speaker 3: on your desk isn't the problem.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It shouldn't be.
- 20:32Speaker 3: But if it is, the dishes in the sink.

- 21:22Speaker 1: Feeling's gonna try to pull that ship. I like to
- 21:27Speaker 1: take the temperature of the room. And I assumed with
- 21:29Speaker 1: this group of folks that they were not going to
- 21:31Speaker 1: give it to you, and.
- 21:32Speaker 4: I was right.
- 21:32Speaker 3: It was different.
- 21:34Speaker 7: I noticed that you pronounced every single syllable of what
- 21:39Speaker 7: Seth had written is.
- 21:40Speaker 5: I thought there might be.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah, so undaunted Courage, or if you said undaunting courage

- 22:29Speaker 1: pay money to see that, HBO.
- 22:31Speaker 4: I would pay.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Money to see that. I'll put I'll put five hundred

- 23:32Speaker 1: You have this one right. Believe so, Randall, have you
- 23:35Speaker 1: ever ordered venison at a restaurant, not that I.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Can recall, Brody, have you.
- 23:44Speaker 6: I'm not going to answer that question right now.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Okay, my apologies for asking.
- 23:51Speaker 6: If I just feel like I would need to clarify it.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Just okay, y if you ever ordered venison at a restaurant, no,
- 23:57Speaker 1: but I've been served at restaurant in order. It just
- 24:00Speaker 1: still it was one of those.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Situations came as the appetizer.
- 24:04Speaker 4: No, like we knew somebody that you know, some off men.
- 24:08Speaker 4: They said you gotta try this.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Although they're exporting. Answer helps.
- 24:17Speaker 1: According to the USDA, this country is the world's largest

- 24:36Speaker 1: Anthony says Canada, Max Canada, Randall, New Zealand, Alyssa, Canada,
- 24:43Speaker 1: Tresa Austria, Joannie and Brody say New Zealand. They got it.
- 24:49Speaker 1: The correct answer is New Zealand. While New Zealand is
- 24:53Speaker 1: the world's largest exporter of venison, the United States is
- 24:57Speaker 1: the world's largest importer of the jon. It's estimated that
- 25:01Speaker 1: the venison industry in New Zealand is worth two hundred
- 25:04Speaker 1: and eighty million dollars, with one third of that going
- 25:08Speaker 1: to the United States. New Zealand is also the world's
- 25:11Speaker 1: largest producer of Antler velvet, with China buying eighty percent
- 25:15Speaker 1: of their inventory, which they use in medicine. Question five,
- 25:19Speaker 1: the topic is hunting. This Louisiana company with a voodoo
- 25:24Speaker 1: inspired name is famous for their spinning wing decoys.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Thank you, Spencer, appreciate it.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Max is thrilled that a waterfowl question made an appearance.
- 25:36Speaker 1: This Louisiana company with a voodoo inspired name is famous
- 25:41Speaker 1: for their spinning wing decoys. Brody has this one right
- 25:46Speaker 1: as well, Max, or excuse me, Seth, Do you have
- 25:48Speaker 1: this one right? Uh?
- 25:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Max. Do you own one of these? No? You don't.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I thought you'd say no, I own three of them. No.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Used to talk about this stuff too much.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I feel like, wow, Okay, I'll explain after.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Brody would like us to just sit in silence till
- 26:09Speaker 1: everyone has come up with the answer. He doesn't want
- 26:11Speaker 1: to talk about eating venison. Doesn't want to talk about It's.
- 26:15Speaker 8: A long story like I was duped into I ordered
- 26:20Speaker 8: elk one time, then found out it was red deer.
- 26:24Speaker 6: It's it's like this weird like they trick you.
- 26:28Speaker 1: They tricked, they got brody, They could get anybody.
- 26:30Speaker 6: This is a long time ago, remember that restaurant.
- 26:33Speaker 1: And has become wiser since then.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Old German restaurants.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Why you just get the rib this old wild boarn
- 26:40Speaker 4: you know elk.
- 26:42Speaker 6: No, I don't remember that.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Brodie's older and wiser now, he wouldn't wouldn't get tricked
- 26:47Speaker 1: into eating red deer again. This Louisiana company with a
- 26:51Speaker 1: voodoo inspired name is famous for their spinning wing decoys.
- 26:56Speaker 1: And this is question five, so we'll get a school
- 26:58Speaker 1: board update from Phil after this.
- 27:01Speaker 4: You do inspired?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Okay, voodoo inspired?
- 27:07Speaker 4: You got it. You have to get it, voodoo like
- 27:11Speaker 4: black magic.
- 27:13Speaker 1: It's Louisiana company.
- 27:17Speaker 6: What are you doing?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Megs?
- 27:20Speaker 4: Don't flash it to me because then we're gonna have
- 27:23Speaker 4: all kinds of problems from Big Red. What did your
- 27:30Speaker 4: Varsie jackets say? Just just Red?
- 27:33Speaker 1: Oh? I thought I thought that was a fictional detail,
- 27:35Speaker 1: but it appears to be read. No, Okay, did you
- 27:38Speaker 1: sign the yearbook read?
- 27:41Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 27:42Speaker 3: No.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Red was more of a character than it was a
- 27:46Speaker 5: real name.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Let's alter Rand.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Will be a good like Western villain cowboy villain. You
- 27:54Speaker 1: should have stuck with Red. The world doesn't make enough
- 27:56Speaker 1: reds anymore, Like you know, Red Foreman from that seventies show.
- 27:59Speaker 1: We just don't don't know any reds. I don't have
- 28:01Speaker 1: any Reds in my life.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I sort of bristle.
- 28:03Speaker 5: I shouldn't say.
- 28:04Speaker 7: I mean a lot of people when they forget my name,
- 28:07Speaker 7: like coaches, when they forgot.
- 28:08Speaker 5: My name, would just call me Red and things like that.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 28:10Speaker 5: So it's just like one of those things that's sort
- 28:12Speaker 5: of funny but also sort of humiliating.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I know, I know another guy with similar hair color
- 28:19Speaker 2: that we call him Red.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Okay, everybody, Okay, go ahead and reveal your answers. Upset
- 28:28Speaker 1: saying Mojo, Anthony says, Cajun Witch, Decoys, Max, Mojo, Randall,
- 28:36Speaker 1: black Magic, Alyssa, black Magic, Tresa, Lucky Duck, go Honess, Mojo,
- 28:43Speaker 1: Brody Mojo.
- 28:45Speaker 7: I knew it wasn't black magic when Yanna said it
- 28:48Speaker 7: and no one reacted.
- 28:50Speaker 1: The correct answer is Mojo. I think five of you
- 28:54Speaker 1: got that one right. Mojo made their initial spinning wing
- 28:58Speaker 1: decoy in two thousand. To test the concept, The company's
- 29:02Speaker 1: engineer took the motor out of his wife's treadmill and
- 29:05Speaker 1: put it in the decoy. Their first product was the
- 29:08Speaker 1: Magic Mallard, which was fitting for the brand that named
- 29:11Speaker 1: itself after the word that means magic in voodoo folklore.
- 29:15Speaker 2: They work like magic too.
- 29:16Speaker 1: There you go Magic Mallard from Why Don't You Own Anymore?
- 29:21Speaker 2: I just don't use that brand anymore. Oh, they're very popular,
- 29:24Speaker 2: like they were like the first ones to ever do it.
- 29:26Speaker 1: And then trust to put Lucky Duck, and I think
- 29:29Speaker 1: they also make a spin exactly Tea.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and then I used to do work with Lucky Duck,
- 29:33Speaker 2: so I use them.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Phil, we're halfway through the game of trivia, give us
- 29:37Speaker 1: a scoreboard update.
- 29:38Speaker 9: Oh, Anthony, Alyssa and Tresa, I'll have one point, Max
- 29:43Speaker 9: and Randall are up next to two points. Apiece got
- 29:46Speaker 9: Seth with three yards with four and Brody Henderson is
- 29:49Speaker 9: in first place with five points too.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Good Question six. The topic is fishing, and this next
- 29:57Speaker 1: great question is via Clint Danforth. What eight letter word
- 30:02Speaker 1: is defined as quote? Water that is saltier than fresh water,
- 30:06Speaker 1: but not as salty as sea water? What eight letter
- 30:14Speaker 1: word is defined as water that is saltier than fresh
- 30:17Speaker 1: water but not as salty as sea water. And it
- 30:21Speaker 1: appears Brody is going to keep the perfect game going.
- 30:27Speaker 6: So does spelling matter on this one?
- 30:29Speaker 1: Does not matter? But hopefully you have eight letters.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I know, but I'm.
- 30:36Speaker 7: There's a lot of letters you can fit in an
- 30:38Speaker 7: eight letter word.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Max, going back to his whiteboard, I had it written down,
- 30:44Speaker 2: but it was a chicken scratch.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Okay, I was doing better. Good. Yeah, you're an honest
- 30:50Speaker 1: man who does his dishes, doesn't cheat, doesn't spop. What
- 30:59Speaker 1: is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 31:04Speaker 1: have Seth and Anthony and Max and Randall saying brackish,
- 31:10Speaker 1: Alyssa and Tresa without an answer, Yanni and Brody saying brackish.
- 31:14Speaker 1: They got it pretty correct. Answer is brackish. Brackish water
- 31:20Speaker 1: is most commonly found in estuaries where a river meets
- 31:23Speaker 1: the ocean. However, can also be found in aquifers and
- 31:27Speaker 1: lakes where there's extra saline soil. Some examples of fish
- 31:31Speaker 1: that can live in brackish water or snook, tarpin, red drum,
- 31:35Speaker 1: largemouthed bass, channel catfish, and striped bass. Question seven. The
- 31:39Speaker 1: topic is wildlife. This type of exotic animal ripped the
- 31:45Speaker 1: face off of a fifty five year old Connecticut woman
- 31:48Speaker 1: during a two thousand and nine attack. What this type
- 31:55Speaker 1: of exotic animal ripped the face off of a fifty
- 31:58Speaker 1: five year old Connecticut woman during a two thousand and
- 32:02Speaker 1: nine attack.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Can you define exotic?
- 32:07Speaker 1: Nope, There's only so.
- 32:09Speaker 7: Many animals that habitually rip the faces off of people,
- 32:12Speaker 7: you guys.
- 32:14Speaker 1: But Yanni has not picked up his whiteboard yet.
- 32:17Speaker 5: Exactly I was in Connecticut.
- 32:25Speaker 1: It was in Connecticut. This type of exotic animal ripped
- 32:29Speaker 1: the face off of a fifty five year old Connecticut
- 32:32Speaker 1: woman during a two thousand and nine attack.
- 32:35Speaker 7: But I think a grizzly bear would be exotic in Connecticut.
- 32:38Speaker 1: You know, so maybe for everyone.
- 32:45Speaker 4: It's a good point.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I will tell you, Alyssa, it happened in Connectic.
- 32:48Speaker 3: What do you got that is a good point, Lisa.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yanni and Brodie comparing answers. I take it you boys
- 32:58Speaker 1: have different answers.
- 32:59Speaker 9: I'll show it to you if we do.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Okay, this may and Brodie's perfect game. Question seven? This
- 33:11Speaker 1: type of exotic animal to be faced off of a
- 33:15Speaker 1: fifty five year old Connecticut.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Moment, Okay, I don't ever read comments did the folks
- 33:23Speaker 4: at home get annoyed this part? I don't.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I don't think it's on their radar enough to matter.
- 33:30Speaker 1: So if you if you players enjoy it, I'd say
- 33:33Speaker 1: keep going.
- 33:33Speaker 7: But everything I've seen says they hate it.
- 33:37Speaker 1: We did just have a situation over here where Seth
- 33:41Speaker 1: showed Anthony his board and then changed.
- 33:44Speaker 3: No, I didn't change what happened when I slid my board.
- 33:47Speaker 4: It like wiped it all.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that's what happened.
- 33:53Speaker 6: You guys.
- 33:53Speaker 7: For this product to work, the audience has to have
- 33:56Speaker 7: trust that this is a fair and honest competition and honest.
- 34:00Speaker 3: If I was going to change my answer to his,
- 34:03Speaker 3: it would probably be the same.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Oh wow, okay, just let's show him. Everybody ready, go
- 34:10Speaker 1: ahead and reveal your answers. We have Seth saying babboon,
- 34:15Speaker 1: Anthony says chimpanzee, Max Tiger, random chimp alyssa chimp jaguar,
- 34:26Speaker 1: You honest, chimp Brody ba boo. The correct answer is
- 34:33Speaker 1: chimp Brody got it wrong, ruining his perfect game. I
- 34:38Speaker 1: think we had half the room get it right.
- 34:41Speaker 4: How do you pronounce.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Jaguar?
- 34:46Speaker 4: Do you always say it like that? Now?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Listen, I got hell from from Steve, so now I
- 34:52Speaker 1: try to go with the pompous way of saying.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Jaguar I got saying jaguar.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Listen, I did too.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Travis d. Champ was a two hundred pound primate who
- 35:05Speaker 1: lived with Sandra Harold in Stamford, Connecticut. In two thousand
- 35:09Speaker 1: and nine, Travis escaped the woman's home with her car keys.
- 35:12Speaker 1: One of Sandra's friends, Charlie Nash, came to help Sandra
- 35:16Speaker 1: wrangle the chimp and brought with her a Tickle Me
- 35:18Speaker 1: the Elmo, which was Travis's favorite toy. When Travis Sawcharlo
- 35:23Speaker 1: holding the toy, he went into a rage and attacked her.
- 35:26Speaker 1: During the mauling, Travis ripped her nose, jaw, eyes, and
- 35:30Speaker 1: hands off. The woman survived after seven hours of surgery,
- 35:33Speaker 1: but was left blind and without fingers. Travis was gunned
- 35:37Speaker 1: down by a police officer after he approached the cop
- 35:40Speaker 1: car and ripped off the driver's side door. At the
- 35:43Speaker 1: end of this podcast, I'm going to play for you
- 35:45Speaker 1: ninety seconds of the nine to one to one call
- 35:47Speaker 1: from the chimp's owner to dispatch, But be warned, it's
- 35:51Speaker 1: very graphic that I don't want to hear. That then
- 35:54Speaker 1: turn off the show.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I art we could just direct people.
- 35:59Speaker 3: You can find it.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I got Steve's approval to play this, so we're going
- 36:05Speaker 1: to play it, but we're putting it at the very
- 36:07Speaker 1: end of the show. She got a face transplant. I
- 36:11Speaker 1: think it was unsuccessful and then successful afterwards. I saw
- 36:15Speaker 1: she recently. She did an interview in the last five years,
- 36:18Speaker 1: and the most recent face transplant took So if you
- 36:23Speaker 1: don't want to hear that nine to one one call,
- 36:25Speaker 1: turn off the show when I tell you goodbye. Question eight.
- 36:30Speaker 1: The topic is conservation and this next great question is
- 36:33Speaker 1: via Ja Jake, Pushaki Phil.
- 36:35Speaker 9: Let's give it a good long pause before we're gonna
- 36:38Speaker 9: hear Doug Duran's song first, and then a solid pause
- 36:41Speaker 9: and then don't.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Want to hear the nine one one call. You have
- 36:45Speaker 1: plenty of opportunity to turn off the show. The topic
- 36:48Speaker 1: is conservation. This public land on the US Canada border
- 36:53Speaker 1: is the most visited wilderness area in the United States.
- 36:58Speaker 1: That's wilderness with a cap butt w This public land
- 37:03Speaker 1: on the US Canada border is the most visited wilderness
- 37:06Speaker 1: area in the United States. This is question eight. Yanni,
- 37:15Speaker 1: are you going to listen to the nine to one
- 37:16Speaker 1: one call audio or is that? Is it too much
- 37:18Speaker 1: for you?
- 37:20Speaker 4: My mind's not made up.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I think you should listen.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Is it disturbed?
- 37:24Speaker 9: What if I told you that the attack is still
- 37:26Speaker 9: happening and you can hear it in the background during.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Is it disturbing?
- 37:31Speaker 2: Yes?
- 37:31Speaker 1: Is it entertaining a bigger yes? Dog, you're not going
- 37:36Speaker 1: to listen Randall mm, but you knew the answer.
- 37:40Speaker 4: I remember this getting entertainment. Poor woman like lost or sight.
- 37:49Speaker 1: She survived. Also, I would point out that I got
- 37:52Speaker 1: the audio from ABC News. This is played, you know,
- 37:55Speaker 1: on every major news network in the world. I don't
- 37:58Speaker 1: think they're wrong.
- 37:59Speaker 6: Why are they play so people listen to it?
- 38:02Speaker 1: Like? It doesn't make it precisely.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I wish they'd released the audio from Grizzly Man me too.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Man.
- 38:08Speaker 1: You know what, there's another thing I'd pay money for
- 38:10Speaker 1: HBO make me the Lewis and Clark Show and get
- 38:14Speaker 1: get us the audio to hear. I think like three
- 38:16Speaker 1: people in the world have heard it.
- 38:18Speaker 5: No should listen to this, Yeah, Kentucky, Yeah, this is horrible.
- 38:26Speaker 5: No one should.
- 38:27Speaker 1: This public land on the US Canada border is the
- 38:31Speaker 1: most visited wilderness area in the United States. This is
- 38:36Speaker 1: question eight, you know, like.
- 38:40Speaker 2: When it's on the tip of your tongue and you
- 38:41Speaker 2: can't m actually come up with the answer.
- 38:45Speaker 11: That's where Brody was. But he just changed his Oh
- 38:48Speaker 11: my goodness, I can see the hmm. Okay, I can
- 38:54Speaker 11: tell you exactly where it's at too.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Oh.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Max has provided a hint to Anthony. I'm just thinking
- 39:05Speaker 1: about changing his answer. Anthony's trying to figure out all
- 39:08Speaker 1: the places that Maximus is aware of, which.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Isn't that many?
- 39:14Speaker 6: The intersection of places.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Max doesn't know the name of it, but exactly where
- 39:18Speaker 5: it is.

- 40:04Speaker 1: one million acres of Christine forests and glacial lakes. It's
- 40:08Speaker 1: located inside the Superior National Forest of Minnesota. Last year,
- 40:13Speaker 1: the Biden administration signed a mining band that protects the
- 40:16Speaker 1: Boundary Water Watershed through the year twenty forty three. Phil,
- 40:21Speaker 1: we have two questions left. Long enough a scoreboard update.
- 40:27Speaker 9: Let's see here, Anthony, Max, Melissa, Tresa, you are no
- 40:32Speaker 9: longer in the running for the win. I'm sorry, But
- 40:34Speaker 9: Seth and Randall you've got five points. You can still
- 40:37Speaker 9: technically claw back. But Jannis and Brody are tied up
- 40:40Speaker 9: in first place, two points ahead of Seth and Randall.
- 40:43Speaker 9: They have seven points.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Question no, it should be an exciting finish.
- 40:47Speaker 1: The topic is cooking. This ten letter British word is
- 40:51Speaker 1: defined as quote a person or store that sells fish
- 40:56Speaker 1: for food. Since question nine, the topic is cooking, Randall
- 41:04Speaker 1: knows the answer. This ten letter British word is defined
- 41:08Speaker 1: as a person or store that sells fish for food.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Fabulous word.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Okay, Randall is the only one who's come up with
- 41:20Speaker 1: an answer so far. Brody, how do you feel about
- 41:26Speaker 1: your answer?
- 41:28Speaker 6: It's got ten letters?
- 41:29Speaker 4: It makes sense.
- 41:30Speaker 1: He is tied with Yanni going into question nine. Yanni,
- 41:35Speaker 1: how do you feel about your answer?
- 41:37Speaker 4: I've also got ten letters.
- 41:39Speaker 1: This ten letter British word is defined as a person
- 41:42Speaker 1: or store that sells fish for food, Yanni, Brody, Randall
- 41:50Speaker 1: the only ones with an answer. Now Tresa has joined them. Tresta,
- 41:52Speaker 1: do you have this right? Okay? Confidence in the opposite direction,
- 42:03Speaker 1: Seth is giving up. Put down his whiteboard face up.
- 42:07Speaker 1: That is the official white flag of meat eater trivia.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Ten letter British word a person or store that sells
- 42:19Speaker 1: fish for food. I'd agree with you, Randall, I do

- 42:24Speaker 5: Spencer that does that does have ten letters?
- 42:30Speaker 1: Is it a good word? Max? You think it's a
- 42:33Speaker 1: word that that's not a fabulous Randa would compliment. Okay,
- 42:39Speaker 1: is everybody ready? I just put together from its pedestrian
- 42:43Speaker 1: co ed and reveal your answers. We have Seth without
- 42:46Speaker 1: an answer, Anthony says Pescadordan Max fish seller, which is
- 42:52Speaker 1: on the right track? Randall fishmonger, Alyssa Delicatessen, Tresa fish
- 43:00Speaker 1: and Chips, Yannis and Brody say fishmonger, they got it.

- 44:14Speaker 4: Oh my word.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Walmart created this outdoor gear brand which makes tents, sleeping bags, coolers, knives,

- 45:41Speaker 4: at Walmart.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Wow, I love apples, you know what I'd say. I
- 45:44Speaker 1: used to be an apple mangert. I worked in the

- 45:49Speaker 5: Wango, Dan, what that one tastes like?
- 45:52Speaker 4: I'm not familiar, uh tarder than the average apple these days?

- 46:07Speaker 4: whole year on.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm not that into I love a pink lady, but
- 46:11Speaker 1: I'd say that's my greatest critique of them. I'm too
- 46:13Speaker 1: thick of a skin on them. I also like Cosmic Crisp,
- 46:17Speaker 1: Classic Honey Crisp is great. God, Golden Delicious. That's that's
- 46:21Speaker 1: a good one.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Sweet Delicious.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Mm hmm, that's not.
- 46:24Speaker 4: I think there's a a new one that popped up
- 46:27Speaker 4: at Costco. That's maybe Ambrosia or something.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think that one's new, though. I think
- 46:33Speaker 1: that Jazz Jazz has been a favorite of mine lately.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Big fan of the Jazz Apple.
- 46:40Speaker 5: I've never heard of any of these apples.
- 46:43Speaker 4: For the record, I guess you just see it. Red Delicious,

- 47:34Speaker 1: Yanni Osar Trail has been called the great value brand
- 47:38Speaker 1: of camping gear. The label is exclusively sold in Walmart
- 47:42Speaker 1: and is named after the Ozark region of Arkansas, where
- 47:45Speaker 1: the company calls home. Their latest venture into outdoor gear
- 47:49Speaker 1: into the Outdoor Gear World, was a line of mountain bikes.
- 47:52Speaker 1: In twenty twenty three. Yanni is the winner with nine
- 47:56Speaker 1: correct answers. That means Yanni gets to choose with the
- 47:59Speaker 1: five hundred dollars. Don't from me de to goes. What's
- 48:02Speaker 1: it going to be?
- 48:02Speaker 4: Yanni? I'm just gonna go ahead and donate any of

- 48:10Speaker 4: Responsible Wildlife Management. Who are the ones that are fighting
- 48:13Speaker 4: the Mountain Lion and Bobcat hunting band in Colorado? If

- 48:21Speaker 4: some money to save the haunt Colorado. What else I
- 48:26Speaker 4: need to tell them between now in November? Because when

- 48:32Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, I think the words out you do. Yeah,
- 48:35Speaker 6: I think we did a pretty good job.
- 48:37Speaker 4: No, I think it's the word is only out in
- 48:39Speaker 4: our little universe. I think that on the Front Range
- 48:43Speaker 4: when you go, just my little polling that I've done
- 48:45Speaker 4: with friends and family that live there, are very barely
- 48:50Speaker 4: aware of the issue and certainly aren't aware of our
- 48:53Speaker 4: stance on it. So if you live on the Front Range,
- 48:56Speaker 4: I'll say this again, do your part and go talk
- 48:59Speaker 4: to people, spread the word and vote, write a letter
- 49:02Speaker 4: to the editor, and definitely go vote.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Five hundred dollars going their way via Yanni and meat Eater,
- 49:08Speaker 1: and don't forget. When I sign off, Phil will be
- 49:11Speaker 1: playing part of the nine to one one call from
- 49:13Speaker 1: the owner of the Chimp during that attack. This is
- 49:16Speaker 1: your last chance to turn off the podcast before you
