- 1:23Speaker 2: the Rams, Maybe I'll take the Seahawks. But I don't
- 1:25Speaker 2: but I know I want to cook a parlay what

- 1:44Speaker 2: to talk about today before we get into the interview
- 1:46Speaker 2: with Dion Dodkin. Deon Dawkins fantasy football heisman Michigan, I
- 1:54Speaker 2: mean literally Michigan, buddy.
- 1:57Speaker 1: That place. It seems like the school is kind of
- 1:59Speaker 1: burning down on right now from the inside out.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, do you.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're the You're you're the You're the Michigan guy, Like,
- 2:07Speaker 1: where does Michigan?
- 2:09Speaker 3: How do we fix it?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah? How does Michigan get fixed? Because as of this
- 2:13Speaker 1: morning I saw on three Reporter there's about six head
- 2:16Speaker 1: coaching candidates on the board right now. Who's gonna get
- 2:19Speaker 1: brought in? Does somebody come into this situation knowing that
- 2:22Speaker 1: there's a full on event investigation going across the athletic department?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Is that a fire you want to be part of?
- 2:28Speaker 3: Like?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Are there going to be penalties? Like? This is a
- 2:31Speaker 1: job to where it's one of the top jobs in
- 2:34Speaker 1: the country, Like if all the jobs are open, this
- 2:36Speaker 1: is a top job in the country if you're a
- 2:38Speaker 1: head coach like I would love to be the head
- 2:40Speaker 1: coach of the Michigan Wolverines. And it doesn't feel like
- 2:43Speaker 1: it's as simple as that, because there could be some
- 2:45Speaker 1: there could be some some implications that come from everything
- 2:49Speaker 1: that's going on right now in the football program, to
- 2:51Speaker 1: where there could be you know, penalties. Who knows what
- 2:53Speaker 1: it looks like, because is the is the is the ad?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Is he still there right now?
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Ward Manual, he's still there.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Uh.
- 3:00Speaker 2: The Board of Regents had a conversation I think the
- 3:02Speaker 2: day after Sharon Moore got fired on Wednesday of last week,
- 3:06Speaker 2: to discuss Warter Manual's long term effect. I think the
- 3:11Speaker 2: decision that they made was they're keeping on board. I
- 3:13Speaker 2: don't know how long that's going to last. But if
- 3:15Speaker 2: you look at the structure of how Michigan is right now,
- 3:17Speaker 2: and I listen, I'm a Michigan alumni, I played there,
- 3:21Speaker 2: I love Michigan. But I am going to truly be
- 3:25Speaker 2: do my best to be unbiased in this conversation right now.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I obviously want the best for Michigan. I want them
- 3:31Speaker 2: to do great, want them to compet for national championships.
- 3:33Speaker 2: But the last you know, three years, like someone had
- 3:37Speaker 2: a tweet said, this Michigan scandal is the biggest scandal
- 3:39Speaker 2: in college football since the last Michigan scandal, and that
- 3:43Speaker 2: is that's unfortunately like where we're sitting right now. So
- 3:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna be as unbiased as I can while also
- 3:48Speaker 2: rooting for my school. So true serums in my body.
- 3:51Speaker 2: You as to ask me any question you want, and
- 3:52Speaker 2: I'll try to answer it as best I can. My
- 3:54Speaker 2: understanding is Ward Manual is still a part of the
- 3:57Speaker 2: university at this very moment since the AD, since the
- 4:02Speaker 2: president who was a part of the national championship he left.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I think he went to Florida, and we've had a
- 4:07Speaker 2: sitting interim president at the University of Michigan. So you
- 4:11Speaker 2: have instability at the top of the tops the AD.
- 4:15Speaker 2: There's a lot of question marks going around him. Obviously
- 4:17Speaker 2: he was a part of all the Jim Harball stuff
- 4:18Speaker 2: taking place, to Connor Stallion's taking place, Did he or
- 4:21Speaker 2: did he not know that this drawn More Mistress thing
- 4:24Speaker 2: was happening because there's rumors that people were knowing about
- 4:27Speaker 2: it around October time or even into the summer, that
- 4:30Speaker 2: they did an internal investigation. How truthful is that? And
- 4:33Speaker 2: then you look at the University of Michigan's all the
- 4:35Speaker 2: other sports because the athletic director, he's not just directing
- 4:37Speaker 2: Michigan football, he's also directing all of the sports involved
- 4:42Speaker 2: Michigan athletics. Is it's they're doing really well from a
- 4:47Speaker 2: you know, you look at our field hockey team, our
- 4:48Speaker 2: hockey team, our basketball team, our vall like everywhere you
- 4:52Speaker 2: kind of look right now other than the Michigan football team,
- 4:56Speaker 2: Michigan's doing really really well in the sports category. A
- 5:00Speaker 2: lot of question marks there, as ward, who's making the decision?
- 5:02Speaker 2: You don't have a head coach. So if I'm a
- 5:05Speaker 2: head coach looking at all of this, and I'm in
- 5:08Speaker 2: a place like Alabama, or I'm in a place like ASU,
- 5:11Speaker 2: or I'm at Washington, or I'm in Missouri, which is
- 5:14Speaker 2: kind of where all these names have kind of come up,
- 5:16Speaker 2: or I'm a defensive coordinator in the NFL. Am I
- 5:20Speaker 2: looking at the University of Michigan is Yeah, it's a
- 5:22Speaker 2: top five job. The logo is a top five Brandon
- 5:25Speaker 2: College football. Even Ohio State fans and Michigan State fans,
- 5:29Speaker 2: if they were to how to polygraph on them, they
- 5:31Speaker 2: would agree to that stance where it sits right now.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I would have a little level of uncertainty of Okay,
- 5:38Speaker 2: I'm going to be the next head coach of this
- 5:40Speaker 2: football team when I don't know how long the eighty
- 5:42Speaker 2: is going to be there. Who's going to be the president?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Does the future eighty year president? Do they want me there?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Or am I not their guy? And they want to
- 5:49Speaker 2: find their guys. So there's a lot of politics that
- 5:52Speaker 2: are taking place, and really it's like there's a bunch
- 5:55Speaker 2: of donors trying to figure out who they want. I've
- 5:57Speaker 2: heard that the kids, the football players themselves, have been
- 6:01Speaker 2: beating on the door of the athletic director saying it's Biff,
- 6:04Speaker 2: Pogi or nobody. I've also heard that the ad he
- 6:07Speaker 2: might be the face, but he's not really making the decision.
- 6:10Speaker 2: There is multiple conversations taking place, and at the end
- 6:13Speaker 2: of the day, I truly do not know who is
- 6:15Speaker 2: making this this decision for the next head coach of
- 6:19Speaker 2: Michigan sirm's got Kenny Dilleham on the screen right here? Yeay,
- 6:24Speaker 2: do we want to talk about that? Like who the
- 6:27Speaker 2: next head coach should be?
- 6:28Speaker 5: His energy and his positivity is exactly what Michigan needs
- 6:32Speaker 5: because it is it is a black hole up there
- 6:35Speaker 5: right now. And like you said, like a squeaky clean
- 6:38Speaker 5: resume from what everything, from everything I've seen and from
- 6:42Speaker 5: whatever everything you've you've said, like he just is all
- 6:46Speaker 5: about ball. The only thing is like low key want
- 6:49Speaker 5: to see Arizona State, like really good. And he always
- 6:52Speaker 5: says how much he loves Arizona and how he wants
- 6:55Speaker 5: it to become a thing.
- 6:57Speaker 3: But I mean he would be I think I think
- 7:02Speaker 3: he is the best man for the job.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I don't disagree with that statement at all. I think
- 7:06Speaker 2: there's I think where Michigan sits right now being in
- 7:09Speaker 2: the pool you're at. The decision needs to be made
- 7:14Speaker 2: by the end of the beginning of next week Monday,
- 7:17Speaker 2: like a week from now. We need to know who
- 7:19Speaker 2: our next head coach is getting.
- 7:20Speaker 1: But are things even going to be resolved from the investigation?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Well, okay, so you're saying you said investigation and you
- 7:26Speaker 2: brought up penalties. The NCAA or bigger powers than Michigan
- 7:31Speaker 2: are not investing in getting Michigan. Michigan is doing an
- 7:34Speaker 2: internal investigation on themselves, So there's not going to be
- 7:37Speaker 2: Michigan's being like, we're not going to make a bowl
- 7:38Speaker 2: game next year, or we're not going to do X,
- 7:40Speaker 2: Y and Z. The Michigan's realizing, Okay, twenty twenty three happens,
- 7:45Speaker 2: we win a national championship in that season. There's the manifesto,
- 7:49Speaker 2: there's the stealing signs. Is it illegal? Is it not illegal?
- 7:52Speaker 2: The NCAA does their investigation, and as it being a
- 7:54Speaker 2: twenty thirty million dollars fine, and it's kind of that,
- 7:56Speaker 2: it's like, okay, that's over. Now we have this stuff
- 7:58Speaker 2: with Sean more taking place, and there's rumors that this
- 8:02Speaker 2: has been known about for a while. The university has said, hey,
- 8:09Speaker 2: we heard about this, we did an investigation on this.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Both sides had the same story. So in that sense,
- 8:15Speaker 2: we were like, Okay, it seems like everybody's being appropriate,
- 8:18Speaker 2: doing care of the right things. Then some evidence takes place,
- 8:22Speaker 2: more rumors, it starts to get more public right after
- 8:24Speaker 2: the Ohio State game, which I think we can all
- 8:27Speaker 2: like play put our conspiracy hat on and be like,
- 8:29Speaker 2: seems like a bit of a coup taking place on
- 8:31Speaker 2: Sharon Moore the next week. Apparently there was enough evidence
- 8:36Speaker 2: brought to the doorstep, whether it was Boosters was whether
- 8:39Speaker 2: it was the girl talking to lawyers or something, somebody
- 8:42Speaker 2: brought enough information to where the AD had to sit
- 8:45Speaker 2: there and fire Sharon Moore. And then he has the
- 8:49Speaker 2: situation he does where he goes there's all a bunch
- 8:51Speaker 2: of I don't know the exact story, but sounds like
- 8:53Speaker 2: he goes to his house, threatens himself, leaves there, his
- 8:56Speaker 2: wife has his location. He goes to the girl's house
- 8:59Speaker 2: that he was having the affair with, threatens himself and
- 9:02Speaker 2: possibly her. Maybe not there was a butter knife involved.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I truly don't know. He ends up getting detained and
- 9:07Speaker 2: now he's looking at three separate charges, one of them
- 9:09Speaker 2: being a felony. Well yeah, and there's like not a
- 9:15Speaker 2: whole lot of excuses you can put it in that
- 9:17Speaker 2: thing like this man obviously saw his life. This man
- 9:20Speaker 2: saw his life crumbling in front of him. It's the
- 9:22Speaker 2: decisions that he made that put him in this position.
- 9:25Speaker 2: And it was seemed like a mental break, like he's like,
- 9:29Speaker 2: holy shit, I can't believe I did this. To myself
- 9:30Speaker 2: when we all kind of kind of realized, like I mean,
- 9:34Speaker 2: Orlovsky said this when the gambling thing took places, like
- 9:37Speaker 2: the things you do in the dark will come to
- 9:38Speaker 2: light eventually. And it's kind of one of those things where, yeah,
- 9:42Speaker 2: like I said, always was good to me. We would
- 9:44Speaker 2: text after games wins and losses, Hey keep it going,
- 9:47Speaker 2: or hey that one's that's a bummer, keep it up.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Always good to me. But if you're gonna have the
- 9:53Speaker 2: block M logo or an Alabama logo or an Ohio
- 9:57Speaker 2: State logo on, like, you need to hold you yourself
- 10:00Speaker 2: to a standard that that school wants you to be at.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Obviously was not doing those types of things. So the
- 10:05Speaker 2: coaching search, in my opinion, which I have spent hours
- 10:10Speaker 2: just getting on that Twitter search and refreshing over and
- 10:13Speaker 2: over again on the latest with Michigan football, I think
- 10:16Speaker 2: there's two clear ones you can go from an outside
- 10:19Speaker 2: that you would want if you're a Michigan fan, And
- 10:21Speaker 2: those answers are Kaylen de Boor or Kenny Dillingham. I
- 10:25Speaker 2: think when the pros with Kailen Debora this right, he's
- 10:30Speaker 2: been successful everywhere he's gone. He goes to Alabama. He's
- 10:34Speaker 2: taking over for somebody that was the greatest coach in
- 10:36Speaker 2: college football history ever, and so now you have an
- 10:39Speaker 2: expectation put on you to where it's like you're the
- 10:42Speaker 2: next guy, But are you the guy? That's how the
- 10:44Speaker 2: world's kind of looking at That's how Michigan wants to
- 10:46Speaker 2: kind of frame it. I have no doubt that he's
- 10:49Speaker 2: happy there. The more that these rumors have popped up,
- 10:51Speaker 2: the more you see Alabama support coming with him if
- 10:54Speaker 2: he does go to Michigan. The thought process from a
- 10:56Speaker 2: Michigan person is, look at all these aliens he has
- 10:59Speaker 2: down South and tusk Luska. How many of those guys
- 11:01Speaker 2: are going to follow him? Now you're looking at you
- 11:03Speaker 2: have yourself a contending team. Immediately, My true thought is
- 11:06Speaker 2: that Kleen de Boor stays at Alabama.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he already put a statement out.
- 11:11Speaker 2: He put a statement out saying that he's not having
- 11:13Speaker 2: a conversation with anybody at this point, nor is he
- 11:15Speaker 2: interested in having a conversation at this time. I'm focused
- 11:17Speaker 2: on playing Oklahoma in the playoffs. You can pick that
- 11:21Speaker 2: apart all you want, because if you're on the Michigan side,
- 11:24Speaker 2: things like he didn't say this. Kenny Dillingham did the
- 11:27Speaker 2: same exact thing, how important ASU is to him, how
- 11:31Speaker 2: he loves that place. Like, as a Michigan fan, you
- 11:34Speaker 2: look back there and go He didn't necessarily say there's
- 11:36Speaker 2: nothing to that, right.
- 11:39Speaker 1: If Michigan was willing to wait and Alabama ended up
- 11:41Speaker 1: losing this weekend, I think that's where you could get
- 11:45Speaker 1: the more possibly back in the scenario. But I'm feeling
- 11:49Speaker 1: like Michigan wants to make a decision as fast as possible.
- 11:51Speaker 1: It's just are they Are they going to be in
- 11:53Speaker 1: a spot to where they can make a decision as
- 11:55Speaker 1: fast as possible with everything going on?
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think. Gun to my head, I don't think.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I don't think killing the boor is leaving Alabama for Michigan.
- 12:03Speaker 4: We're the number two recruiting class coming in. We just
- 12:05Speaker 4: made the playoff SEC championship. Why would you leave that
- 12:11Speaker 4: to go to right Michigan situation?
- 12:14Speaker 2: You know what a Michigan fanily say, Well, he's from
- 12:16Speaker 2: the Midwest Group in Sioux Falls. He was interested. When
- 12:19Speaker 2: he was at Washington and the Alabama job opened up,
- 12:21Speaker 2: he wanted the Michigan job. This is all alleged, right,
- 12:24Speaker 2: He won the Michigan job, but it was in Hardball's
- 12:26Speaker 2: contract that Sharon Moore takes over as a head coach,
- 12:28Speaker 2: and really that's the job he's always wanted. I have
- 12:30Speaker 2: no idea if that's true, it's probably not. And if
- 12:33Speaker 2: I'm on once again saying as unbiased as possible, if
- 12:36Speaker 2: I'm at Alabama and I'm looking at Michigan, whether I
- 12:39Speaker 2: want that job or not seeing where it's at, I'm
- 12:42Speaker 2: probably a little more hesitant to even take a step
- 12:45Speaker 2: towards that with not knowing who the powers me, who
- 12:48Speaker 2: am I reporting to? Then if it is ward E Manual,
- 12:51Speaker 2: how long am I going to be there? Ward Manual
- 12:53Speaker 2: not word E Manual. Okay, so the boar we can
- 12:56Speaker 2: kind of put to the side.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, if I'm the boor, I'm staying at BBAMA right now.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Let's say Kenny Dillingham here, So here's my thought process.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I think if you're Michigan and you want to have
- 13:08Speaker 2: a guy for the next two decades, and you can
- 13:11Speaker 2: take a guy away from what he has called his
- 13:13Speaker 2: dream job, my opinion is I would go full bore
- 13:19Speaker 2: one hundred percent right now at Kenny Dillingham. I think
- 13:23Speaker 2: he would be the best man for the job. You
- 13:24Speaker 2: look at his energy, his youth. Michigan needs that.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He's like a great guy.
- 13:30Speaker 2: He's a great guy. He's a guy that was at
- 13:35Speaker 2: Memphis and Memphis set a record for their offense the
- 13:38Speaker 2: year that he was the offensive coordinator. He had bow
- 13:41Speaker 2: knicks at Auburn and made him sec Freshman of the Year.
- 13:45Speaker 2: He had bow knicks again at Oregon and it was
- 13:47Speaker 2: his best year at Oregon. Now he takes ASU. He
- 13:52Speaker 2: sits there. He says, this is my dream job. I'm
- 13:53Speaker 2: never gonna leave there. I have no doubt about it.
- 13:55Speaker 2: He takes some of the playoffs. Last year, they go
- 13:57Speaker 2: into multiple overtimes against Texas. They lose that game. I
- 14:00Speaker 2: think they should have won that game. There's a lot
- 14:02Speaker 2: of plays in that game or they should have won.
- 14:05Speaker 2: So if you're Kenny, it's like, yo, you have your
- 14:07Speaker 2: dream job, all those things. You're in a good place.
- 14:10Speaker 2: There's a concert extension. If you don't want the Michigan job,
- 14:13Speaker 2: use it as leverage and get a high, a bigger extension,
- 14:16Speaker 2: more pay and maybe some more nil money towards your players.
- 14:19Speaker 2: If you want the Michigan job, you're walking into a
- 14:23Speaker 2: place that regardless of all the things of who's the ad,
- 14:28Speaker 2: who's the president. From a fan base perspective, I believe
- 14:31Speaker 2: you were walking into the best possible scenario as a
- 14:36Speaker 2: coach representing a historically great college, a most winning college
- 14:41Speaker 2: football team, because of all the shit show that's taking
- 14:44Speaker 2: place in the last three years, You're gonna have the
- 14:46Speaker 2: most grace of getting your guys in understanding the playbook,
- 14:51Speaker 2: like winning losing, all those things like there's gonna be
- 14:55Speaker 2: enough time for you to get where you want to
- 14:57Speaker 2: go that Michigan would not give their guys given different circumstances.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Yes, sure, it sounds like y'all need internal rebuild. Y'all
- 15:07Speaker 6: are coming off of a scandal and a coach that
- 15:10Speaker 6: comes to mind for both of those things. I think
- 15:12Speaker 6: Matt Rule did a fantastic job at Baylor's shut up
- 15:15Speaker 6: after their scandal. He rebuilt our football program. He's doing
- 15:19Speaker 6: a great job rebuilding at Nebraska. I just that's a
- 15:23Speaker 6: name that pops up.
- 15:24Speaker 2: No, I hear you, so fuck so, Kenny Dillingham. The
- 15:28Speaker 2: thing I love about him is Michigan has the has
- 15:31Speaker 2: the youngest team in the entire Big Ten. They're the
- 15:33Speaker 2: youngest team in the entire Big Ten. My goal is
- 15:37Speaker 2: to keep all as many of those guys intact as possible,
- 15:40Speaker 2: specifically Bryce Underwood and Andrew marsh Am. I psychotic to
- 15:44Speaker 2: think that a bunch of guys are gonna stay, probably
- 15:48Speaker 2: like if objectively, if you're looking at this and you
- 15:51Speaker 2: don't know all the things taking place, which I think
- 15:53Speaker 2: a lot of us don't know, a lot of guys
- 15:55Speaker 2: are gonna leave, and so how do you mitigate that
- 15:58Speaker 2: risk as much as possible?
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think if it's up to the players, sounds like
- 16:01Speaker 1: it's biff Pogi.
- 16:02Speaker 2: That's where it comes to biff Pogy. So if you
- 16:04Speaker 2: can't get killin Dborr and Kenny Dillingham, which it seems like,
- 16:08Speaker 2: you know both those guys are extremely happy with where
- 16:10Speaker 2: they're at, and you go down, you exercise, you make
- 16:12Speaker 2: them say no to you. I think the answer is
- 16:15Speaker 2: biff Pogi, and it's you sit there, we.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Go bif Poggy over drink at Missou Yes, drink can coach.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Bro Can I be honest? I don't know enough about drink.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I don't I know enough about Kenny. I know enough
- 16:28Speaker 2: about Debor. I know jeded Fish has been a conversation
- 16:32Speaker 2: guy in the conversation who's kind of been successful forever.
- 16:35Speaker 2: My understanding about Fish is if he has success at Michigan,
- 16:39Speaker 2: he gets called from the NFL, he's out. Like I
- 16:41Speaker 2: want a guy that's gonna be there and wants to
- 16:45Speaker 2: be there for the next two decades. That's what I need.
- 16:48Speaker 1: But maybe one of these coaches would want to be
- 16:50Speaker 1: there for the next two decades to me with the
- 16:52Speaker 1: Biff Pogy thing, like the the internal stuff that's happening.
- 16:55Speaker 1: If it's like if I was at the tip top
- 16:56Speaker 1: of Michigan and I don't even know what all happened.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You got the you got this big time investigation from
- 17:02Speaker 1: coming and everything else. I'm thinking we got to clean
- 17:04Speaker 1: shop because this has been a problem for the last
- 17:07Speaker 1: few years, with the cheating scandal, with the shron Moore stuff,
- 17:11Speaker 1: with the scandal, Yeah, yeah, exactly, it's like this is
- 17:15Speaker 1: a shit show. Yeah, and you kind of want to
- 17:17Speaker 1: clean up the entire thing because you can't make you
- 17:20Speaker 1: can't afford to make another wrong decision. And if you
- 17:22Speaker 1: hire internal, you're kind of leaving that smoke open for
- 17:25Speaker 1: something else to potentially happen or come out that has
- 17:28Speaker 1: been unknown and now it's coming to the forefront. If
- 17:30Speaker 1: they were like, say they go with Biff Pogi, and
- 17:32Speaker 1: then there could be some other things to come out
- 17:34Speaker 1: because he was part of the staff. You know what
- 17:35Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 17:36Speaker 2: No, I agree. I hear all the things you're saying.
- 17:40Speaker 2: If I'm looking at this team and if the whole
- 17:42Speaker 2: team is saying we want Biff Pogi.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Yeah, but think about this team though, Like college football
- 17:48Speaker 7: teams nowadays are filled with kids that just leave the
- 17:51Speaker 7: next year. It's like you can't leave it up to
- 17:54Speaker 7: the players of the nil world, right. I get it, though,
- 17:58Speaker 7: Like you know, you want to keep as many guy
- 17:59Speaker 7: as you can. But these eighteen year olds now are
- 18:03Speaker 7: half of them are going to be gone anyway as
- 18:04Speaker 7: they can be. Screaming, bit Pogy, bit pogy.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I don't disagree, dude.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Players swaying the decision. You're basically just kind of hoping
- 18:11Speaker 1: this band aid you're about to put on this situation works.
- 18:14Speaker 2: No doubt. But he okay, so let me let's okay.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I've always been up the stance that Michigan needs to
- 18:21Speaker 2: have their coach before before Christmas because transfer portal. You
- 18:24Speaker 2: want to make sure that you know who the guys
- 18:25Speaker 2: are going to come in and go, who the recruiting
- 18:27Speaker 2: class is gonna stay, who's gonna leave. You've already had
- 18:29Speaker 2: two players that have asked for the release for their
- 18:31Speaker 2: letter of intent. If you don't get the guys you
- 18:35Speaker 2: want and you end up a third, fourth, fifth, sixth
- 18:37Speaker 2: on the list, now you're looking at k are we
- 18:40Speaker 2: putting a band aid because we're getting a new name
- 18:42Speaker 2: in there, or are we actually getting the guy we want?
- 18:45Speaker 2: Because I think after you get through your top three
- 18:49Speaker 2: in the situation you're in, after Auburn's found their coach, coach,
- 18:53Speaker 2: Florida's found their coach, LSU's found their coach, you have
- 18:55Speaker 2: all the old Miss Penn State. Everybody's found their coach
- 18:59Speaker 2: and kind of gone through their highs, which I'm sure
- 19:00Speaker 2: a lot of these guys would have been a Michigan's
- 19:02Speaker 2: radar as well. Maybe it's worth just saying, hey, we
- 19:07Speaker 2: got a lot more issues than just making a fix
- 19:10Speaker 2: in the next ten days. Let's give Biff the job.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Hopefully he can be successful. A lot of these kids
- 19:14Speaker 2: obviously love him. They'll stay for another year, and you're right,
- 19:18Speaker 2: dudes will just leave. But maybe if they have the
- 19:20Speaker 2: guy they want, a lot of our core talent will stay.
- 19:24Speaker 2: You surround Biff with a great o c which I
- 19:26Speaker 2: think Chip Lindsay can be that because a lot of
- 19:28Speaker 2: the rumors taking place where anytime there's a little bit
- 19:30Speaker 2: of adversity in games, shromore, we'll take over the play call.
- 19:32Speaker 2: That's when you saw a lot more running and not
- 19:34Speaker 2: letting Bryce undwould do his thing. From an aerial standpoint,
- 19:38Speaker 2: you get a quarterback coach in there for Bryce if
- 19:40Speaker 2: Bryce is willing to stay, and you keep the staff
- 19:42Speaker 2: where it's at, and it's like, guys show us like
- 19:46Speaker 2: you have twenty six to figure it out, because if
- 19:49Speaker 2: you don't get the guys that this guy wants. And
- 19:51Speaker 2: I'm sure a lot of these kids don't know about
- 19:53Speaker 2: Kenny Dillingham. A lot of these guys who are four
- 19:55Speaker 2: or five star guys who are in New Jersey or
- 19:57Speaker 2: Ohio or out in the South East, they're not getting
- 20:01Speaker 2: offers by ASU because as who's a regional place their
- 20:03Speaker 2: team kids from West Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, and Arizona.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That's where they're finding the lump of their roster. If
- 20:11Speaker 2: Kenny Dillingham takes that job. A lot of guys are
- 20:12Speaker 2: gonna leave and say, Okay, twenty six is alreay gonna
- 20:14Speaker 2: be a shit show anyway, and we'll figure it out
- 20:16Speaker 2: from there. And we just got to give this guy grace.
- 20:18Speaker 2: With Biff, It's like, if you're getting to the fourth
- 20:20Speaker 2: or fifth, why are we sending a long term contract
- 20:22Speaker 2: to a guy when we can just go through another
- 20:24Speaker 2: coaching cycle. Figure ou who the big time guy is
- 20:26Speaker 2: in twenty six. We now a better structure from a
- 20:28Speaker 2: president and ad standpoint, then we're good to go. That's
- 20:32Speaker 2: where I lean towards those two guys and then Biff.
- 20:35Speaker 2: And if you can't get these two guys, then just
- 20:37Speaker 2: stay with Biff and find out who the right guy is.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And who says Drink would walk away anyway. I don't
- 20:43Speaker 2: know enough about Drink, so I'm not gonna be like
- 20:46Speaker 2: disrespectful to him. I just don't know enough about him,
- 20:49Speaker 2: his coaching style, all that stuff. That's where I sit
- 20:52Speaker 2: right now, because boys, it is a shit show. It's
- 20:55Speaker 2: an absolute shit show.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it ain't good.
- 21:00Speaker 2: It ain't good. It ain't good, dude, Yeah, bring them.
- 21:07Speaker 4: I mean, I mean getting someone from the NFL might
- 21:10Speaker 4: not be a bad idea.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I just think you know what, dude, because I saw
- 21:13Speaker 2: what OC for Cleveland. Who's the OC for Cleveland? Tommy
- 21:16Speaker 2: Tommy Rees, he's been a name that's thane around. Jesse
- 21:18Speaker 2: Mint's been a guy that's done around. I don't know, man,
- 21:22Speaker 2: I really don't. They're different worlds college and NFL. Like
- 21:25Speaker 2: you like, especially college nowadays, you can't like coach guys hard.
- 21:28Speaker 2: You have to massage them a little bit more. NFL
- 21:30Speaker 2: you're under a contract, or a real contract, not this
- 21:33Speaker 2: one year an IL thing, and so you have to
- 21:35Speaker 2: play a totally different game. The only one that you
- 21:38Speaker 2: wouldn't make sense as a guy that's been there, which
- 21:39Speaker 2: is Jesse Minter. He's got a whole bunch of different
- 21:42Speaker 2: things about how he can coach, can't coach. And then
- 21:45Speaker 2: if you're Michigan, do you really want a guy from
- 21:48Speaker 2: the hardball tree after all these things have taken place
- 21:51Speaker 2: when you're trying to basically have a clean slate, And
- 21:54Speaker 2: I'm sure Jesse Minter is sitting there and being like,
- 21:55Speaker 2: I don't want the fucking job. I'm gonna go be
- 21:57Speaker 2: an NFL head coach soon, Like he's probably gonna have
- 22:00Speaker 2: offers coming out of this season. What about Mike Tomlin
- 22:05Speaker 2: once again? Like I think Tomlin's great with handling personalities.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I think he's a hell of a head coach. But
- 22:09Speaker 2: he can easily just go and become the Giants head
- 22:13Speaker 2: coach next year, you know, or stay at the Steelers again,
- 22:16Speaker 2: because it seems like they're talking to win the division
- 22:18Speaker 2: again and and losing the wildcard, Like what are we
- 22:22Speaker 2: talking about? And it's like, okay, what about Jason Eck
- 22:29Speaker 2: from New Mexico. I don't know, Okay, Well, he was
- 22:31Speaker 2: an IDO of the Year before he played. Yeah, Jeff
- 22:34Speaker 2: Brom He's been a guy that Will has been getting
- 22:36Speaker 2: inside sources from to me of the search, I think
- 22:41Speaker 2: there's you have two or three names, and if you
- 22:44Speaker 2: don't get those guys, you stick with Biff because if
- 22:48Speaker 2: the kids love them and you can surround them with
- 22:49Speaker 2: a great coaching staff, He's got a great personality for Michigan,
- 22:53Speaker 2: unique self made guy asked him what he's the new
- 22:55Speaker 2: after game, He's gonna have coffee, hoggin'doss ice cream and
- 22:58Speaker 2: hang out with his wife. He's not going to be
- 23:00Speaker 2: a scandal guy.
- 23:02Speaker 1: No Sleeves, No Brian Kelly, You don't want Brian Kelly.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Listen, will did this bullshit on ESPN, I will say.
- 23:09Speaker 8: And I uh, I don't like doing this here right now,
- 23:13Speaker 8: but this is breaking news. Nebraska quarterback Dylan Ryola is
- 23:17Speaker 8: expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's not that's not surprising. And I knew that.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I knew that that was coming.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Like you had your own sources or like just your intuition.
- 23:28Speaker 1: You knew that both both. I've spoke with people over
- 23:32Speaker 1: the weekend. Those conversations will stay with me and my
- 23:35Speaker 1: who I was talking to. But I mean, all the
- 23:38Speaker 1: all the evidence has led up to he's going to
- 23:40Speaker 1: be hitting the portal at some point. Well, listen, we're
- 23:46Speaker 1: gonna find us. We're gonna find us a quarterback. Not
- 23:50Speaker 1: even worried about this. Not even worried about this. You said,
- 23:54Speaker 1: Sowsby's in the portal.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Not even what you said Sosby.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of knew this was coming.
- 24:01Speaker 2: What are your thoughts?
- 24:03Speaker 1: It is what it is?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:05Speaker 1: I like I personally, it's like I know he had
- 24:07Speaker 1: the injury with the broken leg and everything else, and
- 24:10Speaker 1: what he's done with Dylan has meant to Nebraska over
- 24:13Speaker 1: the last couple of years. He's a hell of a player,
- 24:15Speaker 1: hell of a talent, hell of an athlete. And my
- 24:17Speaker 1: hope with like how I went through Nebraska, how you
- 24:22Speaker 1: think of as a competitor, and everything else that you
- 24:23Speaker 1: see with this nil world, I was hopeful that he
- 24:27Speaker 1: would be in this process of getting healthy and everything
- 24:30Speaker 1: else and want to continue to build on the little
- 24:34Speaker 1: success that we've had over the last couple of years
- 24:37Speaker 1: and continue to be the guy and continue to run
- 24:39Speaker 1: into the fight and bring this program back to what
- 24:41Speaker 1: we want it to be. And now that he's on
- 24:43Speaker 1: the portal, everything that I've heard behind the scenes and
- 24:45Speaker 1: everything else, I kind of knew that this was coming.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So at this point it's more of like it just
- 24:49Speaker 1: is what it is, Like this is the world we
- 24:51Speaker 1: kind of live in now, and he's not the guy
- 24:53Speaker 1: that's going to be the quarterback under center for Nebraska
- 24:55Speaker 1: next year. So whoever that next guy is going to be,
- 24:57Speaker 1: whether it's in house right now or somebody that we
- 24:59Speaker 1: get out on the portal, I'm gonna be the biggest fan.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Hell yeah, great way to handle it.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And I'll be waiting to see where Dylan Gold to
- 25:05Speaker 1: wait to see where Dylan goes, and I will be
- 25:08Speaker 1: secretly like rooting against that team.
- 25:12Speaker 2: So yes, you're not secret at all. Yeah, I mean
- 25:16Speaker 2: I thought we were just gonna casually root against Royola,
- 25:19Speaker 2: like behind on the seeds without cameras, because I'm thinking
- 25:22Speaker 2: to myself, like, yeah, like you hear the rumors of
- 25:24Speaker 2: even last year him him sniffing around a little bit,
- 25:27Speaker 2: and then this year it's like, bro, he was at
- 25:30Speaker 2: four different high schools, three different commits. He commits before
- 25:34Speaker 2: ends of Nebraska. Yeah, it sounds like it sounds this
- 25:37Speaker 2: is just me. It sounds to me like he's got
- 25:40Speaker 2: too many people in this corner telling him the shit
- 25:42Speaker 2: doesn't stink. And it's like there has to be a
- 25:44Speaker 2: level of you're either going to stand up and be
- 25:46Speaker 2: the guy or you're not going to be the guy.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And it's this is what a twenty year old kid like.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I hope the best for him, but it sounds like
- 25:53Speaker 2: he needs to have his camp whoever is in his
- 25:56Speaker 2: camp telling him he's the greatest thing in the world,
- 25:57Speaker 2: Like you need to deal with a little of adversity yourself.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Not saying the Brass is the right place for you,
- 26:01Speaker 2: not place for you, but buddy, this game's fucking hard
- 26:05Speaker 2: and it's unforgiving. And if you make it to the NFL,
- 26:07Speaker 2: if you're not gonna have you're not gonna be able
- 26:08Speaker 2: to just skip and walk away.
- 26:09Speaker 1: You're not gonna be able to look around the entire
- 26:11Speaker 1: time you're there.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Right, Like, eventually you got a bunch of people and
- 26:15Speaker 2: your camp being like, it's this guy's, this guy's this guy.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Like the best way to be a quarterback is be like,
- 26:19Speaker 2: it's me, how do I fix me? And then a
- 26:21Speaker 2: lot of the pieces around you to unfold the way
- 26:23Speaker 2: it is. Yeah, but he's twenty years old. He's twenty
- 26:25Speaker 2: years old.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Fib fractured fibula.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah, tried to play like that's badass. Try to play
- 26:31Speaker 2: out a broken fib this year.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Yay, Oh you'll be back week one of this year.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Like essentially he had what comparatively like something that Daniel
- 26:41Speaker 1: Jones had, where he's got a fracture in his fibula.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Could have been worse, could have been less, whatever it
- 26:45Speaker 1: is like, and then ends up shattering it so you're
- 26:48Speaker 1: not like trying to continue to put stress on it.
- 26:52Speaker 1: What I'm hearing, potentially, organ I'd be surprising that would
- 27:01Speaker 1: be what you wanted.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you're an Oregon Ducks fan.
- 27:06Speaker 9: Uh, you know, We'll wait and see how it all unravels.
- 27:09Speaker 9: I'm not gonna say anything good or bad. I will
- 27:11Speaker 9: say what you said is very interesting the world of
- 27:14Speaker 9: college football. I think the Michigan stuff has opened up.
- 27:18Speaker 9: How weird it is that, like Bryce Underwood's team is
- 27:20Speaker 9: putting out that he'll see if he's staying at Michigan,
- 27:23Speaker 9: guy signing one year extensions and it being announced. I
- 27:26Speaker 9: think it's bizarre that this is the world we're living
- 27:29Speaker 9: in college football, Like we're waiting to see if Bryce
- 27:31Speaker 9: Underwood stays at Michigan, if he likes the next head coach.
- 27:35Speaker 9: I think that is It's it's bizarre the world we
- 27:39Speaker 9: live in.
- 27:40Speaker 3: I hate it.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Oh we could go. I sat here and I was like, man,
- 27:44Speaker 2: college football. It isn't a really crazy spot, but it's
- 27:46Speaker 2: fun to watch the chaos now that like my school
- 27:49Speaker 2: is like the in front of all of it. I'm like,
- 27:51Speaker 2: this is we gotta do something.
- 27:53Speaker 1: That chaos is a little different. As all that info
- 27:57Speaker 1: was coming out, it was like, oh, another Michigan scandal
- 27:59Speaker 1: and jokes wrapping in first and then more information is
- 28:02Speaker 1: getting released and you're kind of like, oh fuck, this
- 28:04Speaker 1: is pretty bad. Then it's like, oh fuck, I kind
- 28:05Speaker 1: of want to stay off the internet to see everything
- 28:07Speaker 1: going on because that shit is bad bad.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, And I've literally been only on it, just
- 28:12Speaker 2: just sitting there refreshed, refreshed seeing everything that's going on.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Man. Yeah, we're just we're not in a I mean,
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say it's a paint brush across every player,
- 28:20Speaker 1: but where it's just the world of figuring out a
- 28:24Speaker 1: way to how do we create the best How do
- 28:26Speaker 1: I get better? How do we create the best situation?
- 28:29Speaker 1: How do I become the situation where versus like how
- 28:32Speaker 1: can I get out of this situation? How can I
- 28:33Speaker 1: just find the best situation for myself? Like in my head,
- 28:37Speaker 1: the analogy is running away from the fight instead of
- 28:39Speaker 1: to the fight, Like you're in the fight, you've been
- 28:40Speaker 1: building something. Now you want to go elsewhere because you
- 28:43Speaker 1: just want to look for a better situation. Yeah. But yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 1: if he becomes a moregon duck and landing boy, Natty.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I think there's a world where more stays.
- 28:55Speaker 1: If If if Dante Moore is looking at a potential first,
- 28:59Speaker 1: first round pick, top three, right, Like what it would
- 29:02Speaker 1: be like what the Jets we were talking with Greg Olson,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Like Jets, Raiders would be there?
- 29:07Speaker 3: What is it?
- 29:07Speaker 1: Saints t I mean Titans don't need a quarterback. Cardinals.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's gonna be hard if you're in Dante more spot
- 29:14Speaker 1: when you're looking at coming back for another year, looking
- 29:15Speaker 1: at whatever nil money that they have out there at
- 29:17Speaker 1: Orgon versus like a guaranteed contract in that realm, if
- 29:21Speaker 1: you're a top five, top ten pick, you're looking at
- 29:23Speaker 1: what twenty to thirty million guaranteed, and then ultimately the
- 29:26Speaker 1: goal is getting that second contract in the NFL. If
- 29:28Speaker 1: you're playing the long game as a player, it would
- 29:31Speaker 1: be hard for Dante Moore to not declare for the
- 29:33Speaker 1: NFL if that's what he's looking at and hearing from
- 29:35Speaker 1: his agents and everybody else.
- 29:37Speaker 2: No doubt, I have no doubt. Hell he will be
- 29:39Speaker 2: a first round, top ten probably NFL pick in this
- 29:44Speaker 2: class with all the quarterbacks that are absolutely needed. But
- 29:47Speaker 2: I think there needs to be something to be said
- 29:48Speaker 2: about staying running after a Heisman legacy at Oregon. In
- 29:52Speaker 2: this world, you're being compensated now, like he can get
- 29:55Speaker 2: five million bucks to stay in organ they have the
- 29:57Speaker 2: funds to do it. Let's pocket the one. And if
- 30:00Speaker 2: I'm Dante Moore and you're like, okay, if the angle
- 30:04Speaker 2: is to get that second contract and health stays on
- 30:07Speaker 2: your side, all those things, you have another year to
- 30:09Speaker 2: develop to where you can come in and be a
- 30:10Speaker 2: guy in the NFL. Immediately, I'm looking at it as
- 30:14Speaker 2: how do I become the next Marcus Mariota Oregon? Where
- 30:17Speaker 2: I go and I play for fifteen years, I come
- 30:19Speaker 2: back and I'm walking around, but I'm being carried around
- 30:23Speaker 2: and paraded around like there's a level of legacy that
- 30:26Speaker 2: Dante Moore can be looking at if he comes back
- 30:28Speaker 2: for another year. I'm not saying the money isn't fantastic.
- 30:32Speaker 2: The security of making it to the NFL, holding up
- 30:34Speaker 2: the jersey, bringing back a franchise from the depths of hell,
- 30:37Speaker 2: and being the guy like there's that is beautiful and wonderful.
- 30:41Speaker 2: But you can't go back to college and if you
- 30:44Speaker 2: have the chance to come back, do your thing, possibly
- 30:47Speaker 2: win a Heisman, possibly win a national championship. Because if
- 30:50Speaker 2: Dante Moore says I am going to not go to
- 30:54Speaker 2: the NFL, I'm gonna stay at Oregon. Now, Oregon is
- 30:56Speaker 2: the biggest hotbed for every receiver, tight end, running back, saying, oh,
- 31:00Speaker 2: these guys are going after a national championship. I want
- 31:02Speaker 2: to be a part of that. Now Oregon's done the
- 31:04Speaker 2: recruiting for itself, and you get to be the guy
- 31:07Speaker 2: that's like we did this because of him, and that
- 31:10Speaker 2: I think that speaks decades.
- 31:13Speaker 1: And you're like.
- 31:13Speaker 2: When you're in your forties and you get to go
- 31:15Speaker 2: back and be like, yo, you came back for us,
- 31:18Speaker 2: and there's like I came back from my senior season
- 31:21Speaker 2: at Michigan. We end up going seven and five. We sucked,
- 31:23Speaker 2: We lost to Kansas State and the Buffalo wil Wings
- 31:25Speaker 2: Bowl in Tempee. But even when I go back now,
- 31:28Speaker 2: people fans of Michigan are like, thank you for coming back,
- 31:30Speaker 2: thank you for being a part of those who stay
- 31:33Speaker 2: that Jake Longs, the Steve Hutchinson's those types of things
- 31:35Speaker 2: where it's like you have a sense of pride and like, yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 2: like I could have gone maybe a little higher in
- 31:40Speaker 2: the draft because the twenty fourteen draft is way stronger
- 31:43Speaker 2: than twenty thirteen draft, But like you get to go
- 31:45Speaker 2: back to your alma mater and people are like, you
- 31:47Speaker 2: stuck it out with us, and that's that's something to
- 31:50Speaker 2: be said about this.
- 31:50Speaker 4: This is his first year as a starter, right yeah, right,
- 31:54Speaker 4: So people talk about how bo Nicks had a ton
- 31:57Speaker 4: of snaps throughout college, which clear has helped him be
- 32:01Speaker 4: ready for the NFL. There's got to be a pro
- 32:04Speaker 4: if you're Dante more to go back to your point,
- 32:06Speaker 4: you're more ready for the NFL. You have more snaps
- 32:08Speaker 4: under your belt instead of just one year as a
- 32:10Speaker 4: starter in college and then you potentially have to go
- 32:12Speaker 4: and save a shit franchise in the NFL. Like we've
- 32:16Speaker 4: seen that story too many times too. Like obviously, if
- 32:19Speaker 4: he stays the following year, he's also gonna be a
- 32:23Speaker 4: high pick, goes to a bad team. But you at
- 32:25Speaker 4: least have more experience on your belt than just one
- 32:28Speaker 4: year starting in college, and.
- 32:29Speaker 2: You're gonna have so many weapons around you at Oregon
- 32:32Speaker 2: you're not gonna have to worry about like a massive
- 32:35Speaker 2: drop off. Like at the end of the day that
- 32:36Speaker 2: you can.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Just talk on how this year goes for them, because.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Yeah, they go win the Natty. It's like, oh, buddy, okay,
- 32:43Speaker 2: yeah we understand and check the box. Yeah, you've checked
- 32:45Speaker 2: the box.
- 32:46Speaker 1: But yeah, think in long term you you like, you
- 32:48Speaker 1: hope that kids are like that, are that kids like
- 32:51Speaker 1: that are thinking that long term about it. It just
- 32:54Speaker 1: feels like the world will continue to trend to is
- 32:57Speaker 1: just more of a business decision, more of like the money,
- 33:00Speaker 1: money driven stuff. But that would be I mean, if
- 33:02Speaker 1: he's thinking about that way, he's think about.
- 33:06Speaker 4: Has enough money to make a twenty one year old
- 33:10Speaker 4: feel like.
- 33:11Speaker 2: For sure, and to be able to be a hero,
- 33:13Speaker 2: to be a hero of that school, to bring the
- 33:15Speaker 2: first national championship, second, bring that back, like you, well,
- 33:22Speaker 2: think about this kid as well. Like he transferred where
- 33:24Speaker 2: was it Ucla cal he was at a West coast school,
- 33:27Speaker 2: UCLA transfers sits behind uh bow Knicks for a year
- 33:31Speaker 2: and a half, Like he could have left multiple times,
- 33:34Speaker 2: decided to stick it out and stay like Dante Moore,
- 33:38Speaker 2: Dylan Gabriel, excuse me, Dylan Gabriel, and he could he could.
- 33:42Speaker 2: He's shown that he's willing to be patient, and he's
- 33:45Speaker 2: willing to develop and do all those things. And like,
- 33:47Speaker 2: I don't know if you're going to find a better
- 33:49Speaker 2: coaching staff in college football than Landing and his boys.
- 33:52Speaker 2: To help you develop and get better to where you
- 33:54Speaker 2: walk in the NFL and sound like, hey, a lot
- 33:56Speaker 2: of raw attributes here, but you know, we'll see in
- 33:58Speaker 2: a couple of years, like he can walk in as
- 33:59Speaker 2: a finished product where it's like, now you don't have
- 34:02Speaker 2: the question marks going into your first year of the NFL.
- 34:04Speaker 2: It's like, oh, this is a fucking dude immediately, you know. Yeah,
- 34:08Speaker 2: And it doesn't matter where you get drafted in the
- 34:10Speaker 2: first round, like top ten, Like I know the money's
- 34:12Speaker 2: a little bit better, but look at bo Nicks, like
- 34:15Speaker 2: he's saying number one of the AFC right now in
- 34:16Speaker 2: his second year and he has a awesome team around him,
- 34:19Speaker 2: and that's all. That's what you're essentially looking for. But
- 34:23Speaker 2: it is what the second or third quarterback taking in
- 34:25Speaker 2: his draft. So yeah, man, I think it's really worth
- 34:30Speaker 2: looking into. If you're Dante More and it doesn't go
- 34:32Speaker 2: that your way, Like if you beat JMU, which you
- 34:34Speaker 2: absolutely will Texas Tech, the next year you lose a
- 34:37Speaker 2: Texas Tech, it's like you should really think about staying
- 34:40Speaker 2: and turning into something special.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Classic job's not done.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Posts Yeah, you I need to see the confetti and
- 34:47Speaker 2: him just there looking at it that photo, go back
- 34:51Speaker 2: and win it, you know, yeah?
- 34:53Speaker 1: AnyWho Heisman, Yeah, I think the real that the decision
- 34:59Speaker 1: of organ would obviously be if would hang on the
- 35:02Speaker 1: balance of Dante More goes to the NFL or not.
- 35:04Speaker 3: What do you I mean?
- 35:06Speaker 9: Dilan Rail is a former five star quarterback, so will
- 35:08Speaker 9: embrace that organ. But I do have a real thing
- 35:10Speaker 9: for Dilan Rail. Imagine he goes to Texas Tech and
- 35:14Speaker 9: kind of just completes that Patrick Mahomes.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he said tweet were Cel's like Delanrello realized that
- 35:22Speaker 1: tears a cl.
- 35:24Speaker 9: Would be crazy though, if he goes to Texas Tech
- 35:26Speaker 9: and basically becomes Patrick.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Mahoonmes for real, Yeah, they retire fifteen for him. Yeah,
- 35:33Speaker 1: I hope the best. I hope the best for the kid,
- 35:36Speaker 1: but obviously the Nebraska bias in me, he's now an enemy.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Hope the best for him got to be.
- 35:43Speaker 2: But he's not an enemy. Let's give a run for
- 35:45Speaker 2: Fernanda Mendoza. Hold on, let's I'm just gonna say, I
- 35:47Speaker 2: you can split just my personality up, that's what it is.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I hope the best for him, Bumpy, Yeah, I hope
- 35:51Speaker 2: for a great future. But on the Willie Seed Nebraska bias,
- 35:54Speaker 2: he's now an enemy. Yeah, if you're riding a bus
- 35:56Speaker 2: Forana mi Noso winning the Heisman Trophy, first trophy winner
- 36:01Speaker 2: in Indiana, first outright Big Ten Championships nineteen forty five
- 36:05Speaker 2: beat Ohio State. Buddy, how do we feel about it?
- 36:09Speaker 6: First, Cuban?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Uh, he win as well?
- 36:11Speaker 3: Wow?
- 36:12Speaker 1: Oh, I had an incredible speech, and I hated the
- 36:15Speaker 1: fact that I saw it was seeing the teleprompter and
- 36:17Speaker 1: the reflection on the production side, like you know, on
- 36:19Speaker 1: the production team, you're going back in there after it
- 36:21Speaker 1: was like, fuck, what are we doing? The Yeah, what
- 36:23Speaker 1: are we doing? Those optics blah blah blah. But the
- 36:25Speaker 1: way he talks about his mom the way he talks
- 36:27Speaker 1: about his success, just it seems like the human being
- 36:29Speaker 1: Fernado Mendoz is the leadership that he has and everything else,
- 36:32Speaker 1: and the way he just loves football, loves the moment
- 36:34Speaker 1: that he's in. I enjoy listen to the dude anytime
- 36:38Speaker 1: he's got the microphone from his.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Face, No doubt about it, Dude, he is. He seems
- 36:42Speaker 2: as polish as an individual as you can possibly have. Yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 2: awesome guy.
- 36:45Speaker 7: I saw a hilarious reply on Twitter, and it was
- 36:50Speaker 7: under somebody's tweeted, like, you know, shouting out for Nanda
- 36:53Speaker 7: Mendoza in his speech, and they highlighted the part where
- 36:56Speaker 7: he was like, I was in fourth grade and I
- 36:57Speaker 7: was fourth placed on the depth chart. I just had
- 37:00Speaker 7: to keep working. And this guy was like, man, he's like,
- 37:03Speaker 7: I'm with this whole speech except this part. What do
- 37:05Speaker 7: we do with depth charts in fourth grade? We should
- 37:07Speaker 7: be judged how we were judged as kids?
- 37:09Speaker 1: How hot your mom is?
- 37:13Speaker 3: I was dying.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I was like, man, yeah, of course she's a queen.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Fourth on the chart and fourth grade.
- 37:21Speaker 2: How about uh diego Pavia taking taking not winning the Heisman,
- 37:26Speaker 2: goes to a club in New York and has science
- 37:28Speaker 2: that says f Indiana.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Oh buddy, that was zero class zero. That's a bad look.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I mean, that's obviously the.
- 37:39Speaker 8: The Hesman because it's like the pursuit of excellence and
- 37:43Speaker 8: integrity as what they look for in Heisman candidates. Yes,
- 37:47Speaker 8: he had the stats there, zero class zero integrity. They
- 37:51Speaker 8: need role models and they want kids they're going to
- 37:53Speaker 8: look up to. He's there flexing with his brothers, walking
- 37:56Speaker 8: in congratulations to Vanderbilt ten and two season historic that
- 37:59Speaker 8: beats to see a nelin and I'm proud of them,
- 38:02Speaker 8: but he has zero integrity.
- 38:04Speaker 1: That's that's just like, what are.
- 38:06Speaker 8: You doing going to the club fuck Indiana?
- 38:09Speaker 1: This fuck you know them?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Bro?
- 38:11Speaker 1: And I saw him flash in the middle finger in
- 38:13Speaker 1: the fuck Indiana sign. I was like, but dude, this
- 38:15Speaker 1: is a terrible look.
- 38:17Speaker 10: Man.
- 38:18Speaker 1: And when you saw Fernando his name get announced, like
- 38:20Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm staring at Diego like when Fernandoman does
- 38:24Speaker 1: his name gets announced, and just to kind of see
- 38:26Speaker 1: him like I'm like, he's so pissed right now, Like, bro,
- 38:28Speaker 1: this is you. Finally, this is the moment at the
- 38:31Speaker 1: end of the day, Hayes in the barn. The name's
- 38:34Speaker 1: gonna get called whatever the name gets called in the moment,
- 38:37Speaker 1: it's not yours. You do have to have this, you know,
- 38:40Speaker 1: win with grace, lose with grace. It happened. I know
- 38:43Speaker 1: you fought your ass off to get to that moment.
- 38:45Speaker 1: You could have been he was deserving of also getting
- 38:47Speaker 1: his name called. But when that happens, man, you stand up,
- 38:50Speaker 1: you smile, you congratulate the motherfucker, and it's like that
- 38:54Speaker 1: is what it is, Like, that's out of your like
- 38:56Speaker 1: that that is out of your hands right for you
- 38:59Speaker 1: to kind of go about it that way. I was like, man,
- 39:01Speaker 1: this is a brutal look. This is a brutal look.
- 39:04Speaker 8: I'm not sitting here like hate watching, like obviously I
- 39:07Speaker 8: have been, but truly, how is there not somebody in
- 39:10Speaker 8: his camp, in his corner who's saying, hey, what you
- 39:12Speaker 8: do is directly going to affect your draft stock, which
- 39:15Speaker 8: is already not gonna be great. And then he's sitting there,
- 39:18Speaker 8: he's pouting, he's at the club, and it's like every
- 39:21Speaker 8: NFL team is watching that going your liability. You lose
- 39:25Speaker 8: with Grace Willing Grace. There's nothing in his character that
- 39:28Speaker 8: like shows that he's capable of being like a good leader,
- 39:31Speaker 8: and it sucks. I feel like he killed his draft
- 39:35Speaker 8: stock in a matter of hours. Yeah, he was already
- 39:38Speaker 8: gonna maybe be a four string guy in an NFL team.
- 39:42Speaker 8: I just I feel bad there's not someone in his
- 39:43Speaker 8: camp being like, this is your future or else diego
- 39:47Speaker 8: pavia future podcaster is now in your realm damns. I
- 39:53Speaker 8: mean you guys, at least played in the league for
- 39:54Speaker 8: ten years. He's gonna play for ten minutes.
- 39:58Speaker 7: Yeah, Videos but you as you're like just playing the
- 40:02Speaker 7: thing like that's exactly like Manziel.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Right, and that's what all the that's that's what Jack's
- 40:05Speaker 2: getting at is all the scouts are going to see
- 40:06Speaker 2: that and be like, oh, this is Johnny Manzel because.
- 40:08Speaker 1: You're in a spot too to where all the antics
- 40:10Speaker 1: that Diego Pavey is done this this scene like after
- 40:14Speaker 1: the Heisman and everything else, kind of like yeah, he's
- 40:16Speaker 1: been kind of this person the entire time. But there's
- 40:18Speaker 1: also an eleman if you're there strategically talking about, hey,
- 40:20Speaker 1: if you if your name doesn't get called, here's how
- 40:22Speaker 1: you need to look to handle this, because you can
- 40:25Speaker 1: look at all the stuff he's done throughout the year
- 40:27Speaker 1: and play into the entertainment side. The whole lore of
- 40:30Speaker 1: Diego pavi the college you know, fun highlights low lights
- 40:34Speaker 1: how he went about, how he's handled it. But if
- 40:36Speaker 1: you would, if he would have handled that moment the
- 40:38Speaker 1: correct way, you're able to Since he handled it so poorly,
- 40:43Speaker 1: it validates everything that he wants to make. It seem
- 40:46Speaker 1: like a low character, low integrity type of person with
- 40:49Speaker 1: no class and everything else that everybody's saying.
- 40:51Speaker 2: It's kind of like, yeah, Yeah, all the all the
- 40:52Speaker 2: hitters outside of the Vanderbilt camp who have been saying
- 40:54Speaker 2: that they're like Teek, that's exactly That's exactly why he
- 40:57Speaker 2: didn't win the Heisman. Like personally, I mean I was
- 41:00Speaker 2: I was a guy saying like Diego Pavia should have
- 41:02Speaker 2: won the Heisman. If I had a vote, it would
- 41:03Speaker 2: have been Diego Pavia. But you lose, Bro, You just
- 41:06Speaker 2: gotta lose and move on. Like, you can't handle like
- 41:09Speaker 2: that because you're absolutely right, you've officially validated the haters
- 41:13Speaker 2: because you can't lean on anything else. Like there's no
- 41:16Speaker 2: doubt that he gets his locker room dialed in. His
- 41:18Speaker 2: boys roll with him, Like, listen to kid talk about him.
- 41:21Speaker 2: It's like, these guys would fucking die for Diego. But
- 41:24Speaker 2: an NFL franchise is gonna look at that and be like, well,
- 41:27Speaker 2: Diego might not have the opportunity to get his players
- 41:29Speaker 2: to want to die for him, now, you know.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, So well see here you're just in a spot,
- 41:35Speaker 1: You're you're in a spot where the whole entire world's watching, Yeah,
- 41:38Speaker 1: and you're handling it that way. It was a very
- 41:40Speaker 1: piss poor way of handling that entire thing.
- 41:42Speaker 2: It's tough man.
- 41:43Speaker 7: It's to lock himself in the room with his best friend,
- 41:46Speaker 7: Eli Stowers. Everything you hear about Eli is like he's
- 41:49Speaker 7: the greatest, most focused guy. He won tight End of
- 41:51Speaker 7: the Year. They're best friends. You're right, and Eli's not there,
- 41:54Speaker 7: And it's like, but Diego has sunk as saying the
- 41:57Speaker 7: praises of Eli for Diego's whole career. He credits Eli
- 42:00Speaker 7: with so much of the good things that happen in
- 42:02Speaker 7: his life, and I hate that. I wish Eli could
- 42:06Speaker 7: have been there with him.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Hopefully he can in the way he handled it two
- 42:10Speaker 1: to come back and write that that apology, it's like
- 42:13Speaker 1: everybody knows that that's bullshit.
- 42:15Speaker 8: Everyone knows that that was chat GPT writing it. Look
- 42:19Speaker 8: how many dashes are in that statement.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Chat GPT doesn't I mean already already fed it.
- 42:23Speaker 8: Through, already's feded through it said it was sixty nine
- 42:25Speaker 8: percent or sixty eight percent created by chat GBT.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Like the agency, whoever is with him is obviously encouraging
- 42:32Speaker 1: him to, you know, write up this apology. I'm sure
- 42:34Speaker 1: there's a mix of all things, but clearly that apology
- 42:37Speaker 1: is not coming from Diego.
- 42:39Speaker 8: Yeah, tough man, like if he had handled that with
- 42:46Speaker 8: poison grace, I feel like he would have turned a
- 42:48Speaker 8: lot of haters, including myself, and being like maybe he
- 42:51Speaker 8: is rising to the occasion, like maybe this is not
- 42:54Speaker 8: his grand moment in life where he knows that there's
- 42:57Speaker 8: potential for after college, where he could actually be somewhere on.
- 43:00Speaker 1: A depth chart in the NFL. And I just I
- 43:03Speaker 1: hate that.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I you know, me and the haters were right all along.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I hate it. It was one of those things like
- 43:11Speaker 1: I was rooting for him to win the Heisman. I
- 43:13Speaker 1: thought it was a pretty it's felt like a water
- 43:15Speaker 1: down kind of Heisman class to begin with. I thought
- 43:17Speaker 1: I was gonna be a toss up with him in Fernando,
- 43:19Speaker 1: I didn't really care either way. I was kind of
- 43:20Speaker 1: like rooting for Diego to get it in this moment.
- 43:22Speaker 1: But then when all that stuff happens in the Domino
- 43:24Speaker 1: effect from seeing Diego, when Fernando's name gets called, and
- 43:27Speaker 1: then seeing the optics in the club and everything else,
- 43:30Speaker 1: I'm kind of sitting there thinking like I'm kind of
- 43:31Speaker 1: glad Fernandoman doesn't win the Heisman. Yeah, yeah, which sucks
- 43:36Speaker 1: to say.
- 43:36Speaker 7: But last point on the Heisman because all the stats
- 43:40Speaker 7: were getting put out there of like Manzell having more
- 43:43Speaker 7: almost as many rush yards as Jeremiah Love, Joe Burrow's
- 43:47Speaker 7: year when he throws sixty two touchdowns, and then you
- 43:50Speaker 7: compare all of these past Heisman Trophy winners to any
- 43:53Speaker 7: of the candidates this year. Yeah, I'm wondering if there's
- 43:56Speaker 7: a year out there where the Heisman committees as none
- 43:58Speaker 7: of these guys deserve our we're not having Hesman because
- 44:03Speaker 7: it is crazy to see the difference in the numbers,
- 44:04Speaker 7: like numbers, and it's like it even Pavi, It's like
- 44:08Speaker 7: these are not Heisman seasons and it kind of sucks,
- 44:11Speaker 7: But is such a good guy that Yeah, did.
- 44:15Speaker 2: You see when everybody was at like town of their
- 44:17Speaker 2: table and the media was running around and it was
- 44:19Speaker 2: like Banana Mendoza, Diego, Pavia, Jeremiah Love and there's crowds
- 44:23Speaker 2: of people and then there's Julian standing in the corner
- 44:25Speaker 2: with one reporter. As a Michigan fan, you can't do that,
- 44:30Speaker 2: like you're creating a monster. Yeah, creating a monster because
- 44:34Speaker 2: he's a good ball player. Yeah yeah, Yeah, it's tough, man,
- 44:39Speaker 2: It's tough. Cultural Bok kind of sucks right now.
- 44:41Speaker 6: You know, Messa Maker is gonna be somebody to look
- 44:45Speaker 6: out for next year. I feel like he's going to
- 44:47Speaker 6: make a huge splash. That was the North Texas QB.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah, let's get him in Husker red man.
- 44:52Speaker 6: Yeah, depending where he goes, he's going to transfer somewhere big.
- 44:55Speaker 6: But that he's a I don't know, he's a slinger.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Sowresby open competition for QB one for the Huskers.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Man who wants to get on this this double digit
- 45:11Speaker 1: win season in twenty twenty six?
- 45:13Speaker 2: Dude, who wants to save Michigan? That's the question. Who
- 45:15Speaker 2: wants to save Bryce? Do you want to save Michigan?
- 45:21Speaker 1: Would you take in Michigan?
- 45:24Speaker 2: I would take I would take good. I don't know here.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Here's what I know about Gruden is well, this is
- 45:30Speaker 2: kind of a conversation. I have a way like system
- 45:32Speaker 2: guy like his it's his system, and uh, if the
- 45:36Speaker 2: players don't fit into the system, like, how well does
- 45:38Speaker 2: it work? And then if Gruden does have success, his
- 45:40Speaker 2: next step is the NFL. I'm looking for a guy
- 45:42Speaker 2: like I would love if Gruden came in. I think
- 45:44Speaker 2: it would be it would make it so much fun
- 45:45Speaker 2: to watch Michigan next year. But I'm thinking about what
- 45:49Speaker 2: are the next ten years look like for the Mazon
- 45:51Speaker 2: Blue And I just need that coach. I need that
- 45:54Speaker 2: Matt Ruhle. You know that's gonna be like, Hey, I'm
- 45:57Speaker 2: gonna be here forever. I'm gonna stay here.
- 45:58Speaker 1: This is where I want to be arts and ends
- 46:00Speaker 1: with the Michigan. Yeah, I need I.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Need the next guy, Kenny Dillingham. I need you like
- 46:06Speaker 2: I do. I would love for Kenny Dillingham to be
- 46:08Speaker 2: the next head coach of Michigan.
- 46:10Speaker 9: UH three also just reported that Texas Tech will not
- 46:14Speaker 9: be a factor in Dilan Rayl's recruitment for his transfer,
- 46:18Speaker 9: so there will be no Patrick Mahomes Dilan Rail Texas Tech.
- 46:21Speaker 6: Well that Howard kids forget the.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Text backup? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Where do we go from
- 46:33Speaker 1: the air Boys?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Probably way more down and then back up. I think
- 46:39Speaker 2: there's I think this is going to be a rocky
- 46:41Speaker 2: couple of months for Michigan. Yeah, it really just depends
- 46:45Speaker 2: on I think if it's if you if you're able
- 46:48Speaker 2: to get it to bor Kenny, which seems very far
- 46:50Speaker 2: away right now to me. It's Monday or Tuesday next week.
- 46:55Speaker 3: If not.
- 46:57Speaker 2: I mean I said this on ESPN, like we're really
- 46:58Speaker 2: close to being Penn State and I don't mean that.
- 47:00Speaker 2: And like like Matt Matt Campbell from everything Josh Pats
- 47:04Speaker 2: told us he's an incredible coach. Penn State's in really
- 47:06Speaker 2: good hands now. But it took Penn State so long
- 47:10Speaker 2: to find a coach. They lose their entire recruiting class.
- 47:12Speaker 2: A bunch of guys are now transferring out. Like time
- 47:15Speaker 2: is of the essence if you're going to find your
- 47:16Speaker 2: guy immediately for the next ten years.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like if they're trying to find their coach
- 47:20Speaker 1: over the next week, it seems like it's not going
- 47:21Speaker 1: to be the board. That's where a lot of signs
- 47:23Speaker 1: are point toward it. Can they get Dillingham out of
- 47:25Speaker 1: Arizona right now?
- 47:26Speaker 2: Like you you've really got to stress test how much
- 47:29Speaker 2: Kenny really loves that job.
- 47:32Speaker 3: So do you?
- 47:33Speaker 1: If you're in the building, are you telling the players like, hey, guys,
- 47:36Speaker 1: like give us a week?
- 47:38Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean I I'm a player. If I'm
- 47:43Speaker 2: a player, I'm probably sitting there and being like, yeah,
- 47:47Speaker 2: I want to find out who the who the coach
- 47:49Speaker 2: is and then I'm immediate looking into like what their
- 47:51Speaker 2: success has been. Able kind of offense they run is
- 47:53Speaker 2: the best thing for me.
- 47:55Speaker 1: How long do you wait for that?
- 47:56Speaker 2: I think if you get past January, dude, if you
- 47:58Speaker 2: get into the new year, you're in big trouble.
- 48:00Speaker 1: You're in big trouble.
- 48:01Speaker 2: And I wouldn't be surprised if we see multiple transfers
- 48:04Speaker 2: this week. I mean, regardless of what happens, you know,
- 48:08Speaker 2: if like Biff is a guy, or Kenny's the guy,
- 48:10Speaker 2: or debor whoever is the head coach of Michigan, whenever
- 48:13Speaker 2: they announce that, I fully expect a shitload of turnover
- 48:17Speaker 2: this year. Which sucks, dude, because regardless of how like
- 48:21Speaker 2: we looked as a team this year, one of the
- 48:23Speaker 2: youngest teams, we were the youngest team in the Big Ten,
- 48:25Speaker 2: one of the youngest teams in all of college football.
- 48:27Speaker 2: A lot of great pieces to truly be successful next year,
- 48:31Speaker 2: a lot of great pieces. And so to me, I'm
- 48:34Speaker 2: sitting here this time last week being like, it's fucking
- 48:37Speaker 2: insane to me we have a quarterbacks coach, and like
- 48:40Speaker 2: the OC was also being the quarter It's like, dude, no,
- 48:42Speaker 2: you need a quarterback coach. And so the OC can
- 48:44Speaker 2: focus on the game plan and help develop this kid.
- 48:47Speaker 2: And now it's like, I have no idea what's about
- 48:49Speaker 2: to happen, because it might be. I mean, there's the
- 48:53Speaker 2: optimistic part of me. It's like, dude, get the right
- 48:56Speaker 2: guy in. Guys believe in it, they want to stay
- 48:58Speaker 2: be the hero. But then there's the realistic person. To me,
- 49:01Speaker 2: it's like, that's not the world we live in anymore.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Guys are going to run sprint away from the situation,
- 49:06Speaker 2: and it's like, that's that's college football right now. Can
- 49:09Speaker 2: do you blame them?
- 49:09Speaker 1: It's like, I don't know. Can Bryce Underwood be the
- 49:12Speaker 1: guy for the Nebraska corn Huskers. I'm telling you it's
- 49:18Speaker 1: open right now because if I'm a player, I'm Michigan.
- 49:20Speaker 1: I'm out of there. I'm running t's and p's, man,
- 49:25Speaker 1: the p's of what's going.
- 49:26Speaker 10: On over there.
- 49:27Speaker 6: The thing that is hard about the transfer portal is
- 49:29Speaker 6: that there is so many success stories now to back
- 49:33Speaker 6: it up that it's now even more prevalent because there
- 49:37Speaker 6: are a lot of times that pays off and these
- 49:39Speaker 6: players see that, and so I think we're just gonna
- 49:42Speaker 6: see more and more of it each year.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of issues in the college football landscape.
- 49:48Speaker 1: It will be fun to tell college football playoffs this
- 49:50Speaker 1: week in the locker room with Josh Pate.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Yeah, because we got some games this weekend. Yeah, there's
- 49:55Speaker 2: two games taking place this weekend. Yeah, Chilean and Jamil Heiah.
- 50:02Speaker 2: You already know what's going to happen. You already know, No,
- 50:09Speaker 2: I know they would not be Michick.
- 50:11Speaker 1: All right, let's get the Roe Spicy Tier talk with

- 51:31Speaker 2: I felt like that was a phenomenal icebreaker.

- 52:30Speaker 1: when my wife's wearing loose clothes around the house and
- 52:32Speaker 1: her asses jiggling, and it's just this AI robot with
- 52:34Speaker 1: a massive missile ascending in the air off to share
- 52:40Speaker 1: it on my stories, to share my stories.
- 52:43Speaker 2: There was one I don't know who it was, but
- 52:46Speaker 2: there was something like a sliding DMS like the draft
- 52:48Speaker 2: head that comes in and then I'll see myself out
- 52:51Speaker 2: and then it's like another gift for them, just a
- 52:53Speaker 2: little something funny there in.

- 55:50Speaker 3: call everybody schlet right because like, you know, everything is shnow,
- 55:54Speaker 3: so I add a sh to everything. And Josh Josh
- 55:58Speaker 3: is scally. He's the biggest slut of them all, you know.
- 56:03Speaker 3: And they're like and they'd be like why, dr I'm
- 56:07Speaker 3: like why, And I'd be like, bro, realistically, right, who
- 56:09Speaker 3: wants a bunch of good guys on a football field.
- 56:11Speaker 3: We're a bunch of sluts, a bunch of fucking dickheads, right,
- 56:14Speaker 3: Like We're a bunch of assholes, right, You're a fucking schlutty, and.
- 56:18Speaker 2: Josh is the biggest schlutty of them all.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Dude, I'll be saying of them all.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I'll be saying that for a while now, everybody on
- 56:24Speaker 1: the show. Yeah, sure, luody, I was.
- 56:27Speaker 2: I wasn't gonna give you a big intro. We're rolling, baby,
- 56:29Speaker 2: and listen. I love the idea of you just calling
- 56:31Speaker 2: people schlutties everywhere. Let's get Let's get into the origin
- 56:34Speaker 2: story of snow because I remember I remember this, yea.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Let me just give you a little backstory of the world.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Whoever's listening a little backstory. It's two thousand here, twenty seventeen, yes, sir,
- 56:44Speaker 2: so twenty eighteen. I go to Arizona to train a
- 56:48Speaker 2: little bit with my boy Richie and Cognito. I'm gonna
- 56:50Speaker 2: bring this cat with me. His name is Neon Dawkins.
- 56:52Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, don't know a whole lot about this.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Dude pulls up mammoth. I'm staring at his calves like
- 56:58Speaker 2: I'm Johnny Drama and entrag, Like you adult, how the
- 57:01Speaker 2: fuck do you handle them?
- 57:02Speaker 1: Boys? Dogs?
- 57:03Speaker 2: Got Kevin Dog Scottson. I'm telling you right now there's
- 57:05Speaker 2: a hurricane. Hold on to him. He'll be fine. He's
- 57:07Speaker 2: the sturdiest man. And uh, I see this Kim like, yo,
- 57:11Speaker 2: this dude's built well, he runs well. Blahl ball And
- 57:13Speaker 2: then all of a sudden, now we see I'm washed,
- 57:15Speaker 2: Richie's washed. But this man's in the problem of his life.
- 57:17Speaker 2: He's actually killing it for the m v P. So grinder,
- 57:21Speaker 2: the whole thing. But you weren't snowing then. There was
- 57:23Speaker 2: no snow during our exos time, or at least you
- 57:27Speaker 2: didn't say it. You were a little you were a
- 57:28Speaker 2: little more like calm. When when did snow become a thing?
- 57:32Speaker 3: Yeah? I was snow Shnow is always a thing, but
- 57:35Speaker 3: I was I was more so sheltering it. I was
- 57:38Speaker 3: sheltering shnow. I was because I was young, Like I
- 57:41Speaker 3: didn't just just want to come in there and just
- 57:42Speaker 3: start slapping schluddies in the face with what's this guy doing?
- 57:49Speaker 10: Right?
- 57:49Speaker 3: So? Nah, but snow started, Uh like I'm from Jersey
- 57:54Speaker 3: and uh, we go through all four seasons. And I
- 57:57Speaker 3: used to shovel snow as a form of money starting
- 58:00Speaker 3: in middle school. So I would wake up early, I
- 58:02Speaker 3: would knock on doors and I would see if people
- 58:05Speaker 3: wanted their driveway and their walkway shoveled. And that was
- 58:07Speaker 3: only when school was canceled. If school was canceled, then
- 58:10Speaker 3: I knew that we had a lot of snow coming,
- 58:12Speaker 3: and I just made my business mind, like I'm like, bro,
- 58:16Speaker 3: I'm the snowman, right, what is outside during snow days?
- 58:22Speaker 3: People go outside and they build a shnowman. So I
- 58:24Speaker 3: just became the shnowman. So then when you before the
- 58:27Speaker 3: NFL started taking it away, I was wiping my nose
- 58:31Speaker 3: like this from Yay High and I wiped my nose
- 58:34Speaker 3: because it was snot, so it was you already shnow.
- 58:37Speaker 3: I'm wiping a snot off of my face because I
- 58:39Speaker 3: was outside, So you already shnow with your boy dog,
- 58:41Speaker 3: and I regret, you know, knock on doors, twenty dollars,
- 58:44Speaker 3: forty dollars driveway, walkway and even if the people felt
- 58:47Speaker 3: safe enough, you know, I would ask them if they
- 58:50Speaker 3: wanted their car started because they had to go to work.
- 58:52Speaker 3: And if they got their car started, that was a
- 58:54Speaker 3: super bonus. They were super thankful. Then that's when the
- 58:57Speaker 3: big tips came. They're like, oh my god, kid, you're
- 58:59Speaker 3: the best. Here, take an extra twenty, you know, go
- 59:01Speaker 3: and get yourself a dunkin Donuts coffee. You're great And
- 59:07Speaker 3: that was me.
- 59:07Speaker 2: So so basically the business of the on Donphins was
- 59:11Speaker 2: being the snowman.
- 59:13Speaker 3: Was the snowman the foundation. How old were you when
- 59:16Speaker 3: you were doing this when it definitely started in like
- 59:19Speaker 3: sixth grade? Sixth grade, so you knew this.
- 59:22Speaker 1: You were a cat or snow Day's happening, You're hanging
- 59:25Speaker 1: out with the boys and everything else, You're thinking business savvy,
- 59:28Speaker 1: like let me get let me start getting in this
- 59:30Speaker 1: entrepreneur game early.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Bro, because because you think about it, right, all of
- 59:34Speaker 3: my friends it was call of duty time, right like
- 59:37Speaker 3: it was back then. It was it was like way
- 59:39Speaker 3: back in a day like where you had to really
- 59:41Speaker 3: buy Xbox Live monthly passes, right, and everybody was like,
- 59:46Speaker 3: all right, bet, we don't have to wake up at
- 59:47Speaker 3: seven am. Let's sleep till eleven, let's sleep till twelve.
- 59:50Speaker 3: But then let's get on on on the game all day.
- 59:54Speaker 3: So I'm like, bro, i could go make some money
- 59:56Speaker 3: and then come home and you guys are still on
- 59:59Speaker 3: the game, and I'll just catch up when you guys
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: are in the mix of it. So I came back
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: home with the pocket full of cash and was still
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: whooping dudes on call of duty and doing me. So
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: it was just a win win, See, you.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Get yourself a little two for one special.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I was gonna say, when is this how is this mentality?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: How is this mentality taking place? Because you know, a
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: young cat like that, and then you get around the
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: older heads and they kind of learn about what you're doing.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: The introduction of Dion Dawkins is like, Hey, this kiddy,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: he's wise beyond his years thinking about this stuff that early.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: What cultivated this mindset for.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: You came out of Temple University too, so you get
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: jacks people like, we'll see, we really don't know.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah it was it was just bro. It was
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: just knowing that you need something else. Bro, Like you
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: just need something else. You're always going to need something else.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: You know, football was in his life, but I've always
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: thought of like, what's what's next, Like you just can't
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: just be a football player. You need to be be
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: able to brand yourself and do something that shoot different.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Keeps that golden star just overly just shining. So if
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: somebody is looking in the dark room. Something is just
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: shining just a little bit where they turn it but
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: their head like, oh snap, there's a showman. You know.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: I'm like, you know, and that's and that's a vibe.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Like I was just like, Bro, like dudes, dudes like it,
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: like in the league and when I was younger, like,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: it was just like, Bro, I wanted it so bad.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: I wanted to be a player. I wanted to be
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: one of the guys. And I think what started it, Bro,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: It was just like and I always tell dudes, like,
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: nobody dreamed of being a professional blocker. Bro, don't nobody
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: want to block people for a living?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Dog, Bro, you are right corner the big kids Like
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: I'm playing tight end, I'm playing cornerback. You're like, no
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: mother for you are blocking. I'm so sorry that Joe
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: is what.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Nobody just want to block for a living. Like, Bro,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Nobody says, oh my gosh, I want to get to
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: the NFL because I want to block Miles Garrett one
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: on one. Nobody says that, all right, that is not
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: a real thing. So I was just like bruh, I
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: wanted to catch balls and touchdowns and celebrate and tackle
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: the quarterbacks. I was like, all right, cool, So like
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: it was like, just like, what can I do more?
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: So my fund comes from a lot of things.
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so hey, that's first off, that's a great mindset
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: to have, because if you only have one source of income,
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: you're one mistake away from being in poverty. So I
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: love the fact that you wake up in the morning
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: doing your entire thing. We do the first year we
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: tray with Incognito. We're gonna get into Cognito a little
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: bit because that is was our boy. Yeah, your second year,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: like let's just let's let's break down what the Buffalo
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Bills were like when you got into the league. So
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: from my vantage point, I get in the league in
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: two twenty fourteen. Quickly you start to understand there are
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: franchises that people go to for their careers to die.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: You hear about these like older savvy veterans their head
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: to Cleveland, they had to Buffalo, they had to Sency. Hell,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: even the Dnitans sometimes like these guys head here and
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: it's like this is where we give our last hurrah.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: But the Buffalo Bills are like kind of an afterthought.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: You got Kyle Williams just kind of a nasty little
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: guy and that it's like, you know, we'll handle Buffalo,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: will probably fall off at some point during the season.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Now you guys are seen as contenders, but you came
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: in during like the Buffalo. Everybody hating on Buffalo, people
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: who were involved the Buffalo being like, it's really nothing
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: to what it is now. So talk about the growth
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: of that franchise. Obviously it started like don't have to
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: start with but josh An be a massive part of that.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so I would start with So I'll give you
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: the whole thing. You know, when I and got there,
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: I was McDermott's first draft class, right, it was me,
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Matt Mulano, true Davis White, right, so we we even
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: had Zay Jones, Like it was like it was us
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: and that was the core, right, So that's what coach
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: built the foundation off of. He was like, these are
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: our guys. And then we got there and it was
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: this Richie and e Wood and Kyle Williams, and we
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: had Tyrod Taylor and we had bro like we like
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: we even had a what's the guy that it was
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: like the Ohio State older quarterback. He was like a
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: superstar in college. I don't know, like Cordell like maybe
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: like some and I walked and I'm just like, bro,
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: there is a this this like this team is stacked,
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: even even like our d line, like we had like
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: just dudes, bro, Jerry Hughes and and uh I forget
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: the guy's name from from Alabama, but like so many
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: guys and it was just like we are, uh loaded
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: roster with names, but these guys are not winning games.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: And then the first year we made the playoffs and
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: we lost to Jacksonville. And then the following year we
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: drafted Josh Allen, and then we drafted we drafted Josh
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Allen and then that's when we had Josh Allen and
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: Tremaine Edmonds and and we had all these guys and
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: it was just like wow, now it's like this thing
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: is really going. And then after that first year with
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: Josh Allen and and Nate Peterman and and all those guys,
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: it was just like a it was just like an elevator, bro,
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: and it just kept going up and up and up
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: and up and up up, and then the guys just
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: built and became kind of superstars. And then we had
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: Josh Allen and the rest is history.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, I absolute love.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: That's probably the coffee jumping up back there.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Dude, Hey, somebody's out here at the Yeah, somebody's.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Out here going a little. I had ten coffee on
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: my way in here to what he know, what.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Year did you get drafted? What year did you come in?
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: Twenty seventeen?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Twenty seventeen? And Mett Milano, that dude is a stunt.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I love, that's the olive oil. He's the one that
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: he's the one that he's the ingredient that gets the
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: dish going, no doubt.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: But he also brought up fucking Eric Wood. He's still
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: in like the Buffalo franchise. He's still working all the
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: alas had a neck injury that and his entire career.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: But who, like Incognito would like, who were the guys
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: besides coaches that were like these guys taught me to
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: be pros am I saying, the two dudes.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: Taught me how to be pros Lashawn McCoy interesting, Shade McCoy.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: He's out there making what he makes waves in the
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: media game now.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Facts he's and he found his niche because even in
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: the locker room, he would always hold court. He would
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: always hold court over basketball game and this and the
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Warriors not winning and the Lakers suck in Cleveland? Is
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: this like like he was one of those guys and uh.
- 1:06:18Speaker 11: Yeah and uh yeah, yeah it was, it was he
- 1:06:24Speaker 11: was one of those he was one of those guys man, bro, Bro,
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: It's it's just like.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: My two big homies is what I call, like my
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: three my big homies, Eric Wood, Richie Incognito and LaShaun McCoy.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Those were my guys yo. And the crazy thing too,
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: A lot of people for forget about this dude, Kelvin
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: Benjamin KB KB. Kelvin Benjamin was was one of my
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: guys too, and he actually taught me how to be
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: a pro. And it's and it's very weird how you know,
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: his story kind of turned out, but all of the
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: good that came from it. I learned a lot of
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: stuff from KB. I would hang out with KB a
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: lot and just learning like you just got to just
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: be a guy, bro, just just just just be a guy.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Yeah. And what what are these guys when you talk
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: about learning to be a pro, like coming from coming
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: from Temple and everything else, Like when you when you
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: say these are guys that kind of taught me how
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: to be a professional in the NFL, Like, what are
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: those things you think about that you feel like they
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: taught you, Like when people are out there listening, like, man,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I wonder, I wonder what he's meaning by they taught
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: me how to be a pro? Like what's different from
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: going to college game to the NFL.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Well, I would say, I'll start with Richie, learning how
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: to be a pro is not just playing the game right.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: Off season was huge. It was the first time that
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: I was free from college, first time I was free
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: from a schedule, first time I was free off into
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: the world. And Richie grabbed me and said, Bro, you're
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: coming to Arizona. We're going to work out. I'm going
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: to show you what to do. I'm gonna show you
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: what a schedule looks like in the offseason. I'm gonna
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: show you what I've been doing. And I was like,
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: all right. One, I was excited. I was like, yo, cool.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: And then I'm in like Arizona. I'm a rookie, I'm young,
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: I'm like brom I'm going like Arizona's lit, there's mad girls,
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: there's all types of stuff. I'm like, I'm going, right,
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: I'm going, And I get to Arizona get in Richie's crib.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: First day, we eat and he's like, all right, we're
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: leaving at like seven o'clock in the morning, or it
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: was super early. It was super early, and Richie was
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: up before me. And I'm usually on time when it's
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: older guys. Like I'm like, bro, I want to show
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: the older guys. I'm a young guy. I'm on time.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: I'm a pro. Da da da da, And I'm up
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: maybe six o'clock, six'. Ten, Right richie is in the
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: kitchen already making his oatmeal and doing this, thing And i'm, like,
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: bro this dude is up in the, kitchen bigg as,
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: hell no shirt on making making. Oatmeal And i'm, like all.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Right SO i would say that was step one of
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: showing me how to be a, pro being on, time
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: what to eat in the, morning and how to train
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: and where to, train because you could, train but, TRAINING
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: i think where you train at is. Huge like some
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: guys go places just for pictures and just to be,
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: cool and like we were, Grinding like we were grinding,
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Right like dudes were in there. Grinding and then you
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: get to meet, guys, Right LIKE i got to Meet
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: taylor AND i was, like, bro this is, Insane like
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: the world. KNOWS i was, like, bro this is. INSANE
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: i went from college At temple to first year in
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: THE nfl now to being With richie And taylor training
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: In arizona and with the. Dogs and then you learn
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: how to go through the progression of an off, season,
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Right like you don't want to overly grind your gears,
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: out but you can still and work. Hard you can
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: still have fun and you Can he'll enjoy your off, season.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: Right and it's not just train train train, train, train train,
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: train it's train train, relax, recover train, relax, recover train,
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: relax recover train train train train train relax train, training
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: can you. Know and that's kind of how that. Went
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: but then in the, building you, Know richie And shady
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: taught me like how to get in the hot, tub
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: how to get in the, kotab how to do low
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: maintenance stuff like iso holds and and if your knees ever,
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: hurt just do, this and you need to get the green.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: Band you have to. Stretch you, like find yourself one
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: of the guys in the training room that you can bond,
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: with that can trust, you and you can trust him
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: that you guys can enjoy and build a process. Together
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: AND i Found, Will will In greenberg is one of
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: my best. Friends AND i Take will to The Pro
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: bowl every, year And i'm blessed to be a pro.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: BOWLER i Take will and his family every year Because
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: i'm thankful for What will does for. Me during the,
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: sea he keeps me being a pro, right LIKE i
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: might gain an extra like ten, pounds and he's, like all, Right,
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: dion look we need to do this this boom and
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: now it's off, Right so little things and like, that
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: and then notes right like even notes right LIKE i.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: WAS i was never an overly note, Taker, Like i'm
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: not about to sit there and write all the stuff
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: down that can confuse. ME i don't like to be
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: in confused in a. GAME i like to keep it very, simple,
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: BRO i like to keep it very very. Simple we
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: have a run, left we have a run. Right. Cool
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: if we have a run, LEFT i probably only have
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: two people or three people, right boom boom in my,
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: TRIANGLE i got MY, dm the, linebacker and the corner.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Right that's All i'm looking, At like none of that,
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Stuff SO i don't trick. Myself he's taught, me all,
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: Right dian if this is how you, learn learn like
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: this all, right but you have to take at least
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: this much notes. Down this is what and what, works
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: this is what doesn't, Work and then you have to
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: also do enough so the coaches see that you're working
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: and that you're not just like, a, OH i got,
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: it AND i you, Know i'm that, guy, Right so
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: he taught me how to be at that, line but
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: just a little bit above and sometimes just a little
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: bit lower where you can kind of float and you,
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: know fly at a nice.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Pace so you, go you learn from all these guys
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: how to become a. Veteran now you're in a position
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: where guys are walking in these, rookies especially the off it,
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: time and they walk in the building, like holy, shit
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: There's Dean dawkins like. That that's always a crazy transition
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: from grow to the guy looking up to people to
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: now people are looking up with, you looking up at.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: You and then this year you have a wide receiver
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: who get drafted in the first. Round last year he
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: has a couple of games where he's AN, hs he's
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: a healthy, scratch and you are in after a. Game,
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: SAM i don't know specifically what you, said but essentially
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: your message was time to grow, up time to, mature
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: and you said it in a very like professional, way
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: WHICH i hope he wasn't has his feelings, shirt but
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: like you're essentially keeping him accountable, publicly which is awesome
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Because i'm Sure i'm sure you're doing that internally as.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: Well but what is it like for you to now
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: go from a mentee to a mentor being on the
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: same team for as long as you Have, yeah.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: That's that's the Biggest that is the biggest challenge because
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: with the process of being like the, og you like
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: you kind of know what you don't have to do
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: and know what you have to, Do like you can
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: float and be in like a nice comfortable, area Right
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: like you don't want to show them too. Much you
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: want them to be still on that overall process of
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: boom boom boom boom boom boom boom right where, now for,
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Example i'm just on like a boom boom. BOOM i
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: know that this works for. Me this is All dion.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: NEEDS i figured out my process where a young guy
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: could come in and be, like, Well dion just just does,
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: this this and. THIS i want to try just, this
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: this and this when, realistically they should try everything to
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: really figure out whether or not everything is good enough
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: for what they're. Doing but, yeah like for a guy
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Like Keon, man like you just got to just keep them,
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: motivated keep them, keyon you, know and just let him understand.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: That you, know like this league is it's, vicious, Bro
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: like it's. Vicious like we didn't see some of the
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: best players get get spit out of this. League like
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: you have to be able to come in and perform
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: and produce and to show your. Worth, Right like it's
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: a business like you have like billionaires that have LIKE
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: i would, say, hobbies almost like me with my car.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: Stuff Right like IF i was a car collector AND
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: i was collecting, CARS i want all the best, cars
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: and then WHEN i want to drive my, CAR i
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: want my car to be able to drive the way
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: that it's supposed to be. DRIVING i don't want to
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: buy a car and the car looks great and then
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: not be able to drive the car WHEN i want
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: to drive the. Car or sometimes the car will be a,
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: ah a six second, car and then some in some
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: days and the car is a ten second. Car it's just,
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: like now that's not. Realistic we want everything to be.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Inconsistent but, YEAH i would say that it gets, tough,
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: Bro it honestly does and get tough because everybody's watching and,
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: whenever and everyone is watching like that means you have
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: to consistently be at your best as everybody is learning from. You,
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: like you, know practice every. DAY i don't want the
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: guys to see me not, practicing right LIKE i want
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: the young guys to see me. Practice dion is one
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: of those guys that will. Practice he doesn't miss, Games
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: he will do every. Rep he doesn't want nobody to
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: take his. Reps why Is dion in the league for
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: so so so like so. Long it's Because dion is
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: doing this boom boom boom boom boom year in and year.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Out but you, know trying to be yourself with not
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: overly showing the cheat codes of the system is basically
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: What i'm.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Saying, yeah, yeah you over here whin out my boom
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: boom boom, Boom and some guys just want to boom,
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: Boom But i'm, saying if you boom, boom boom, boom
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: you got a boom enough to boom and then we
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: were left over the. Boom but he was booming Bro.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: He's LIKE i might have boom boom boom, boom but
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: he WAS.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: I haven't had eight cups of. COFFEE i am on z.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Yeah And i'm thinking to myself like there's somebody out
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: there that's, like fuck, yeah he's really spitting right. Now
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: and there's there's other cats out. THERE i guarantee you
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: there's a high school kid right now the note notebook
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: and a pet out being like the put me on
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: game and he's got fifteen booms written all over, paper
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: being LIKE i THINK i got.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It he can't, enough but DO i know the cheat?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Coat oh, no he don't want to give out the full.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Rightspecrum so now, yeah he's Puppy guarden the city way
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: to be success successful in THE nfl gatekeeper a little, bit.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Dude that is so fucking.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Funny the learning curve when you're going into a level
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: and a status of, Leadership how was it for you
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: like finding that, voice because again it very to me
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: feels like you're also you also enjoy some some class
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: clownery like the, schlutz the. Shnowman like you seem like
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: a great energy to be around on a daily, Basis
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: so especially as a young, cat you're like one of,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: them like the nucleus of something where you can mess around.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: With you, know he, works but he makes it. Fun
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: all these things Toward now you fast. Forward now you
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: have all these years in the, league all These Pro,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: bowls to where now the staff there's more of an
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: expectation for you to be a, leader, like, hey, bro
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: you see, something say? Something what was it like for
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: you TO i, guess find that voice or go through
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: that learning curve of leadership knowing you have a little
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: bit more, pressure like, hey maybe you don't want to
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: speak up in this, moment but you feel, like, hey
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: this is a MOMENT i do need to step up
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: and say so BECAUSE i KNOW i swing a big
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: stick with.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: Everybody, yeah well that's a great. QUESTION i think first
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: you have to be. Good you have to be, good, Right,
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: like ain't nobody gonna respect what you're talking about if
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: you're not performing on the football, field, Right you have
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: to be good to really speak and lead a, room Right,
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: like you can't have somebody who's not making plays like
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: going there and be like, yo we gotta da da
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: da da, da like you need to, No like it
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: just doesn't. WORK i, think you, know like you just
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: have to just go with who you. Are just let
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: your like your personality fly and be, yourself, like don't be.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: Faked just be, yourself speak the. Truth and the guys
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: that are going to gravitate towards you will and, gravitate
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: and the guys that won't. Won't. No but usually over
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: the course of THE, nfl you, know good and good
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: players wind up having a, voice and people follow in good.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: Players And i'm blessed That i'm a good enough player
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: that people and listen. To you, know on our, team
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: this Is josh's. Team, like this Is josh's, team And
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: i'm an assistant to my. QUARTERBACK i assist every everything
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: that he's. Doing i'm his, PROTECTOR i. Assist i'm there
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: to help. Him i'm there to help his, Journey i'm
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: there to help him be. Great So i'm just trying
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: to just do everything THAT i can so people will
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: continue to listen And josh could continue to perform at
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: the best he's able to perform.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: When you're playing games and a lot a lot of,
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: criticism like we've been we've been able to DO espn
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: this year and in that like obviously The Buffalo bills
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: are a big topic of conversation and guys like Danner
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: lovsky and a lot of guys who are really good
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: in big critical watching film and they look at your
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: wide receiver room and they're, like, hey these, guys they're
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: not getting a lot of. Separation Josh all has to
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: hold the ball for a long time now as an offensive,
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: lineman AND i, UNDERSTAND i personally understand the frustration that
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: you could deal with probably. Internally but let's look back
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: at That Houston texans, game, Right, Yeah Will, Anderson Daniel
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: hunter and those motherfuckers.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Go, bro they just.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: Go and there's a couple of times THERE i see,
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: YOU i see a couple OF Dfc brown and it's
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: like you're every every human, being whether you like or,
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: no you have like an internal clock of, like, okay
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: the ball should be out by, now and then they
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: just keep fucking. Going so now, now like you, know
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: you Got Chris collins was on, there but the offensive
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: lines really getting destroyed by. That and it's, like, bro
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: it's Not josh is holding the ball for five six.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Seconds i'm so glad and that you acts this because because,
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: bro when it comes down to, it the world wants
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: to see everybody just locked. Down everybody like everybody like
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: like people think that blocking is one two three. GRAB
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: i lifted more weights this. WEEK i should be able
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: to make you not. Move it don't work like.
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: That especially As.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: Bro that's, right that's not. Right AND i call them aliens.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Too now right, now those guys play really well football. Together.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: Right everybody's job helps everyone's. Job if the receivers are
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: killing guys in the, secondary the ball should get, out.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: Right If josh is holding the, football the ball is
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: going to be in The our job is going to get.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Harder if the receivers are not getting, Open josh is
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: holding the, football our job is getting. Harder nobody is
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: saying that it's the receiver's. Fault i'm saying that in
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: that game there was a lot going on as. Alignment as,
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: alignment that internal clock is definitely. There, BRO i don't
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: care when nobody say you're sitting there and you're, blocking
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: and you're, like all, right you, know, realistically a play
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: is what four?
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Seconds, no, no, no, no, really you play is like
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: three seconds to the ball gets when, quarterbacks when quarterbacks
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: get you get at the ball fast like two point,
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: four two point.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: It's and it's that's not that we were holding guys
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: for for six, seconds and it's just like that's. Cool
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: that's what our game was. Cool the mindset is blocked.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: Forever do. This you need to be blocking. Forever your
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: alignment blocked, forever blocking you guys. Forever, bro you, know
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: oh forever you get paid sixty million dollars to, Block like,
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: BRUH i hate. IT i gotta be, Like, bro you
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: guys are not. Realistic i'm. Human you guys are not
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: human because you're behind the screen not knowing what it's.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: Like and there's one place specific, Right i'm Blocking Will
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: anderson And i'm blocking him right and the world goes.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: Crazy dion's holding calls a fall start the sky is always,
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: bro leave me, alone right like like like, now it's
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: like DO i hold this guy or DO i play
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: football the right? Way when it's taught to say when
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: the guy is out of your body frame to let him.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Go So i'm blocking the. Guy he's, here he's, here he's.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: HERE i could grab him and throw him back. Across
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: but it's not, Realistic like that's a holding. Call the
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: referee standing right right there waiting to throw his. Flag
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: he's pump. Faking he's pump faking the. Flag he's, ready he's,
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: ready he's. Ready Thought i'm gonna Throw i'm gonna throw.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: It i'm, like, bro you're not throwing. It so you,
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: know it's just that's just and what it. Is but
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: those two, guys even the interier, guys like they played.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: WELL i tipped my hat to The houston And. Texans
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: they challenged us more than any defensive line we have
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: seen in a. While the previous, YEAR i think we
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: gave up maybe two. Sacks the year before, that maybe
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: it was like zero or like like it was like,
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: crazy like we were the least we Got josh hit
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: the least in like the last three. Years and it
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: was just, like now we play a group that is juiced.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: Up they're on the, climb they're doing. Good they were
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: falling in that point of the, season which they might still.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: Be SO i tip my hat to.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: Them, Bro, Bro, yeah there's a piece of you there that's,
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: LIKE i, mean gotta be in the third chord that
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: like gets the. Sideline and you might not say it,
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: verbally but like in your mind you're, like these motherfuckers
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: have got to get open. Faster can we get up
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: can we get a hot? Route AND i know you
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: don't got to even respond to get can we get
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: a Hot you don't don't even respond to, that because
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: that's only gonna Be bill's. Mofya people be Like Jan
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: dawkins is not. Appreciative But i'm telling, you, BRO i
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: know where your brain's at in that, situation and it
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: is fucking brutal AND i hate. It and now, now,
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: hey congratulations you put the text a couple of weeks.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Ago well there's a guy you got to play against
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: his twenty one and a half.
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: Sacks Miles. Garrett, yeah we all know that. Guy, YEAH
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: i can't, Wait, no, no, noah it's it's it's it's it's, amazing,
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: bro truly right, like uh, Like i'm a come, competitor
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: right LIKE i pushed to be the. BEST i want
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: to be one of the, greats you, Know like we
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: got That protector of The ward The Year award thing
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: passed games like this show, it, Bro like who you?
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: Are what type of player you? ARE i Understand, Miles
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: and look he's he's he's a ward daddy, man you,
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: Know and that's just what it, is Right like some
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: like sometimes you gotta play the grim reaper dog and
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: the world sees. It there ain't no hiding behind. IT
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: i just know. That, no, man you could get that job. Done, no, no,
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: No i'm Just i'm just, playing. Bro it's a it's
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: a it's a beautiful. Competition we have, schemes we have
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: a plan and play and hopefully the plan is executed
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: at its highest stability Because miles is coming for that
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: sack title And i'm here to stop. It And miles
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: Knows bro.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: The snow mane on the other, side, man And miles
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: Nose bro, Right, miles because he is like if he's
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: at twenty, one the record is twenty two, Correct uh,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: YEAH i think so twenty two and a.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: Half, yeah it's something and a.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Half that is sickening because if he would have just
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: had twenty two and a half right, now it'd be, like,
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: oh he's kind of he's got the, record but he's
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: to get the record against you like you like there's
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: an unfortunate. Circumstance at sixty minutes in a game this,
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: weekend the most likely, scenario because there are sixty three plus,
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: snaps there could become a time where he could get
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: the sack record On Josh allen and that's so.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: My. Stomach.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: CAR i, know, dudey how you doing this? Here BECAUSE
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: i know the feeling you have BECAUSE i, remember, man
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: you Got.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Hey they show they show the clip now like, again
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: they show this clip straight, up, straight straight hand getting.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: Farm they show the clip over and over and, over
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: and you don't want to be the guy where this
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: is the play that the record got? Broken, right can't?
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Be can't.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: Be you gotta go up to your head coach this
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: week and be, like, BRO i don't give a shit
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: if we have to slide to him and hip him
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: every time he cannot get, it let's lose the. Game
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: let's just make sure.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: He has no. Stats we ain't losing the. Game that
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: was too.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: Far i'm gonna stand up in front of the team and,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: hey we gotta jump on these. Boys we gotta get
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: out ahead of them early because we're gonna run the
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: rock there second.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: Half AND i just starts kind of, laughing say a whole.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: LOT i don't know why he's up.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Here we have to run the.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: Rock everybody out there calling us pussies because.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: We can't run it.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: OFF i don't give a shit if we don't do
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: the ball the entire. Game we're gonna prove a point this. Weekend,
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: Yeah so, anyway, BRO i hope you have. Fun i'm
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: bustling with the boys right. Now, yeah go the other,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: way slide, chip cut, him use a sifter like we
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: know all the, tricks like we gotta we gotta do.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: It AND i, like, Yeah, yo people really don't. Understand
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: they don't and then and they will never they will
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: never truly. Understand, then. Broke my example of this that
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: list is, Like i'm not calling Myself kobe Or Michael.
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: Jordan i'm just using two notable. Names, OKAY D line
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: AND O. Line it's Like Kobe bryant And Michael jordan
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: playing against each, other and you can pick whatever one
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: has the. Ball, okay let's Say kobe in this, sense,
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: right Because miles's favorite athlete of all. TIME i believe It's, Kobe,
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Right So kobe Against Michael, Jordan kobe has the, Ball
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: Michael jordan just has to play defense the entire. Time
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: who is going to score the most points the person
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: with the. Ball can you Imagine Michael jordan just having
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: to play defense the entire time and protecting the rim like,
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: this that's what the old lineman.
- 1:28:48Speaker 10: Is, right we are on the hey don't, score, yea
- 1:28:53Speaker 10: all those guys. Are let me show you my best.
- 1:28:55Speaker 10: MOVE i can spin in, circles you, know like. Bruh
- 1:28:59Speaker 10: it's it's. Tough and this is what people don't understand
- 1:29:03Speaker 10: is it's hard to be. ALIGNMAN i have a lot
- 1:29:06Speaker 10: of pride in being an off offensive. Lineman but just
- 1:29:10Speaker 10: know that what the world wants to see and certain
- 1:29:14Speaker 10: things is, Impossible like it's impossible with certain, things and
- 1:29:18Speaker 10: it's just it is and what it, is you.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: Know, yeah it's like it's like the unfortunate reality to
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: where it's like the old. Lineman they're not even close
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: to the sexiest position. Anything it's, just oh we gave
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: up bits sat or the offensive line give a bait
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: sacks like our offensive line is. Brutal they don't. Care
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: they don't care to seek to. Understand like maybe sometimes
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: like when you're watching the game and you're dialed in on, like,
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: oh let's see like Them Bill's mafia sikos that are
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: big fans of you guys and everything, else and they
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: have that little more empathy like as they're watching the,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: game because it's, like, man it would have. To it
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: would suck to Block Will, Anderson Miles, gary, YadA YadA.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: YadA but for the most, part people. Don't they don't
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: care to understand because it's the it's the element of. Entertainment, stats,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: analytics all these things to talk. About because so when
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: you're in the middle of that game against The Houston
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: texas and them sacks are piling, up it's almost like
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: if you're an offensive, line you're, like, shit where the
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: world is about to just rip us the stress because
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: they have no clue everything that goes into all of.
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: This and also bro like the stat board and all
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: this crazy stuff LIKE i wish that like you could
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: hone in and look at this, stuff but like the
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: stats don't really show what's going on in a. Game
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: LIKE i wish that there could be a clip for every, stat,
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: right every stat should have a clip besides like running
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: and stuff like, that because that's like, impossible but stuff
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: like how many sacks does this guy? Have how many uh, right?
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Sacks and how many times all this stuff see that
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: see that because realistically the stats she will, say, oh
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: that offensive line got sacked ten, times but maybe for
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: those the quarterback ran out of. Bounds behind the line
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: of scrimmage that's titled a. Sack maybe it was a
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: mush sack where every it was a covered sack or
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: or all the, stuff and sometimes the closest guy gets
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: pinned with the. Sack that's just how like how it.
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: Goes and the people to, say, oh the stat sheet,
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: said blah blah blah blah, BLAH i don't even like
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: watch the, game so all that guy, sucks you, Know
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: but realistically that's not what it. Is it's not. True
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: but you, KNOW i wish people would see that more,
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: often and that should be a. Thing there should be
- 1:31:27Speaker 3: a way people could click on every stat and be,
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: like did he lose a one on? One did he
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: really lose a one on one? Rep because we have
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: like one on ones in. Practice those are those are
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: reps that you can count where you're one on one
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: and somebody beat you and all, right and but you.
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: Lost that's a one on one, rep but not like
- 1:31:45Speaker 3: no covered sack or it was a mush sack and
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: you were supposed to slide this way and they didn't
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: pick this up and you ran out and the guy
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: just like, no, Bro, like.
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: Yeah it's way too much like a, blanketed vague like
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: sack or no.
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: Sack for.
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: SURE i love what you're saying, though as off as
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: an next offensive, line and it's, like, yes, dude it
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: would be, nice like if it says, okay the like
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: we played with the twenty eighteen when we give eleven
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: sacks to The, yeah we played The ravens and it
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: was like eleven sacks and like, me, me being like
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: the face of that offensive line at the, Time i'm
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: obviously catching a bunch of heat for. It and AND
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: i went and watched back the, film, like, ye there's
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: a couple of times where guys would get beat one on,
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: one like you're you're kind of, saying but a lot
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: of those SACKS i look at and you're, like you
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: can't say this. Publicly you can't go like in a press,
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: conference and, like you guys an understand that the guys
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: weren't getting open And marcus solten ball and then all
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: of a, Sudden marcus ran out the bounds like it.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: Sucks it's just one, Stats, like, oh eleven. Sacks it's,
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: like holy, shit this offense like got murdered all. Day
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: and it's, like, yeah there's some truth to, that but
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: at the same, time like when a guy, is you, know,
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: looking he's outside the pocket and he's running and he
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: just steps out of bounds one inch behind the line of, Scrimmage,
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: like that's a. Sack it's, like can we just call
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: that a TfL or can we put a little sack
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: with an asterisk next to.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: It something something? Else? Yes call it something, else, man
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: because call a sack is not what it. Is that
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: that hearing that it like drives offensive lineman crazy because
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: that's like one of our biggest, things like like oh, yeah,
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: bro like you had a tough. Day, yeah you gave A.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: It's like a it's a money, thing it's a team.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: Thing it sucks because like the, sack the sack. Thing
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: people don't realize how important the sack or no sack
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: thing is in the, world especially when you're like when
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: you're going through. Concents how many sacks did he give?
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: Up?
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: Oh says he gave up five sacks this? Season, okay
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: well what are those five? Sacks look? Like AM i
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: blocking for six seconds and there's a? Sack and there's
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: people that are watching this right now being, like, yo
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: who really gives a? Ship it's Like i'm.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Sitting there like we. Do i'm sitting here listen to
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: the offensive. Lineman i'm, like, damn they really they're venting right? Now?
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: Yo yeah we, are we are.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: Venting don't. UNDERSTAND i feel Like i'm sitting here's like
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: a therapist just listening to you. Guys go, Back and
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: how does that make you? Feel when you hear the
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: word seck like a LITTLE ptsd?
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: Dude make you start twitching like this? Sack?
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah and you remember every single sack, too every single.

- 1:35:50Speaker 1: what's What dion's GONNA i mean this is this is
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: a layered. Thing but when he was talking ABOUT i
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: wish that you could just click and them and see
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: each single. One when we're ON, pff you can click
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: on pressures like say there's say there's sixty five plays
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: on don't just. Don't this is all very. Layered this
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: is all very so there's a lot of. NUANCE i
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: understand How deon's gonna jump up out of his, chair
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: but say there's sixty five plays, offensively And i'm trying
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: to say prep FOR espn or prep for the locker
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: room on a game THAT i might be trying to
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: look at and be, like, man are The bills really
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: that bad? Defensively like what's going on schematically that they
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: that this offense is trying to do like wide. Zone
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: they seem to struggle with that against AGAINST so and
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: So they're about to play The niners or At laying
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: and they're heavy outside zone. Teams so these are things
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: that you got to kind of look. At so to
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: break that down even more versus watching entire games of,
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: football say all those sixty five offensive, plays there were
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: ten pressures that the defense had against you. Guys they
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: have the stat ten. Pressures you can click on the
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: ten and see everyone THAT pff clarified as a pressure
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: or a. Sack so that way you can start to
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: in our, position like If i'm A Bill's Mafia sicico and, say, like,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: again everybody Knows i'm a Massive Nebraska corniskar. Fan so
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: If i'm watching every game every week and people have
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: something critical to say about sacks giving, Up nebraska gave
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: up nine sacks To, MICHIGAN i would be the sicko
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: that goes in and watches the nine sacks and IF
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: i find something to where they weren't realistic sacks or
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: it was the quarterback on the, bar the receivers wouldn't get,
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: OPEN i would be able to explain that Because i've
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: went in at that moment to watch those nine sacks given,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: up or a lot of the times the majority of
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: people outside of like the ones who are really good
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Like Danny o to me breaks down the game very
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: well with the time that he has to do it
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: before he goes ON. Tv you're able to kind of
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: look at these things so that way you can do
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: your best to explain the game that much. More but,
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: again a lot of it is. Entertainment a lot of
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: it is surface. Level you look at the you look
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: at the box, score you look at the team, stats
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: you look at these things to where you're trying to
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: formulate an opinion on what, Happened and a lot of
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: times things get left out because they're just not there's
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: not near Of you don't have a window to try
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: and nuance and break down every single, game every single,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: rep every single play to formulate an argument for apps.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: Everything, yeah the casual fan just wants to watch football
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: and then make a judgment based on watching the. Game
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: and then here the commentator go all the offensive lines
- 1:38:08Speaker 2: giving them this many. Sacks be, like, man they're kind
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: of fucking, ass aren't?
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: They and they move.
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: On but commentators control the.
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: Narrative When, will When will brought up the WORD, pff
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: you said, something he, SAID i want you Because i've been,
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: Dude i've been holding this. Flag THEY i think you're.
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: About THE pff. Greatness, MAN pff controls the. WORLD pff
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: is gonna tell you if you're good or you suck. Balls, nah,
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: BRO i freaking hate. It you HATE pfu just like.
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: THAT i do NOT. Pff LIKE i love the fact
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: that they are stats and they get the stat thing out,
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: there BUT i everything needs to be, Sharpened like like
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: you just can't title certain like certain things for certain.
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: Things and you guys are just grabbing all of the
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: sheets from one megaboard to just like be like all,
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: right just to get it all. Done like, bro like
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: you need to Hold Google factory to be in there
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: to sort through it all for every player if you're doing,
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: That like that's not. Fair like that's just not, fair.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: Bro and it's just like y'all are like glorifying pressures,
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: like oh that was a. Pressure put it. Down oh
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: that was a. Pressure, hey put it? Down like how
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: do you know is it is it like a red
- 1:39:25Speaker 3: error button like once it gets closer to the quarterback error?
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: Error cool? Pressure like.
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: CHRIST i think he's an investor IN. PFF i know
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: there's a handful of. Guys there's as, worth. Dude here's
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: what bothers me ABOUT pff is there's thirty two teams
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: in THE. Nfl every team has a version of gap,
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: scheme a version of inside, zone mid, zone outside, zone perimeter,
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: runs those types of. Things just looking at the run
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: playbook because we've we've we've beaten to death pressures and
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: everything like, that WHICH I i'll talk all day if you.
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: Want you said it in the beginning of the, show,
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: like if you want to keep it as simplistic As
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: Dion dawkins, does it's, LIKE i focus on my. Triangle,
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: OKAY i have the defensive. END i have the linebacker
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: in the corner or the. Safety if the safety is
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: down in the corners back there's no way that. PFF
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: a person who's not in the building of The Buffalo
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: bills knows what your assignment is every single play and
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: what you're supposed to, do and how where your hat,
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: placement your hand placement supposed to be on outside zone
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: as opposed to inside, zone as opposed to mid. Zone
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: and then gap, scheme it's, like, okay are we going
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: to the backside? Linebacker are we going to the mic?
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: Linebacker AM i training to the front side? Linebacker because
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: we're really keeping it front? Side and then now now
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: the guard's pulling and pulling up into the, hole so
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: it's supposed to be in between the. Tackles but, no
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: now he went to the, Perimeter so now we need
- 1:40:42Speaker 2: to get on the outside. Shoulders so if they go,
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: inside that's. Bad but if they go up and around
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: and make the, tackle, hey that's a whole lot. Better
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: there are so many different variables that take place in
- 1:40:50Speaker 2: different blocking, schemes because, truly there are probably twelve twelve
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: plays twelve to one places in, football but there's fifteen
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: different like version versions of each of those. Plays so
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: it's unfair FOR pff to look At Dion, Dawkins brown
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: anybody and be, Like, okay this is wrong and this
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: is right because they because we had this argument with
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: them at The Super bowl one year and they're, like,
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: yeah there's probably four or five six plays a game
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: that we don't know it's, great and we'll just grade
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: it based on what we. Think, well if there's sixty
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: three plays in a game like, that you're you're moving
- 1:41:23Speaker 2: full percentage points one way or the. Other and it's
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: based off of the. Name like if you were a
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: Rookie Deon, dawkins you are and it looks like you
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: messed up as opposed to play next To richie in.
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: Cognito they're gonna Give richie grace and not. You now
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: that you're older and you've had a couple Of Pro
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: bowls under your, belt they're gonna give you a little
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: more grace and they're gonna kill the guy next to.
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: You so it's like that's where people need to be
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: very cautious when they look at a sixty eight point
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: seven grade or a seventy three or this blocking grade
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: of that blocking, grade because it is really it's unfair
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: and it's, wrong good or, bad whether they have you
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: in a good place or a bad.
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: Place for, sure, yeah they're there's there's there's gonna be
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: an element of human error because they're not in the
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: building with all of these. Teams, however just hot take
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: on my side, AGAIN i have no reason to LOVE
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: pff because the WAY i no no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: no no no, NO i will SAY i do ENJOY
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: pff now That i've got we've gotten into the world
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: because again you can look at you, know what you
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: guys favor as an, offense whether it's inside, zone outside,
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: zone duo scheme or man blocking. Pollers you. COULD i
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: get to watch film now on this side of it
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: as closely AS i can to WHEN i was in
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: the building prepping for a, team everybody.
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: Just as close as you're looking, out not just. Linebackers
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: that's what is. Great the ability to go and, see,
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: HEY i want to see what reaches are, LIKE i
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: want to see what pools are, like.
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: AND i CAN i can stimulate my own opinion based on, Like,
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: okay this team gave up ten. Pressures let's actually look
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: at these pressures and whatever Argument i'm trying to. Formulate
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: If i'm trying to battle for you guys or against you,
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: guys you can kind of formulate that, yourself BECAUSE i will,
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: say Whenever dion does get on the other, side whenever
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: he does get on, it let's just say he's a
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: busting with the boys, guy absolutely. Amazing, yeah and he
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: was in our world to where now he's gonna be
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: because he's clearly an entertaining. Cat he's got a future
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: in something like, this to where now he was seeing
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: it from this. LENS i Think dion will be all
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: ABOUT pff in that film in the.
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: Stats, yeah go, AHEAD i will you tell you right.
- 1:43:26Speaker 3: NOW i will tell you right. NOW i do not
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: HATE pff one hundred. PERCENT i just think that there
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: is a lot of things that need to be sharpened.
- 1:43:34Speaker 3: UP i can see WHY pff, works and it's very
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: valuable to the average not just to call him, average
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: but to the regular, Consumer like that's, cool, right but
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: for the people that it. Matters if like if you're
- 1:43:47Speaker 3: gonna talk about, like oh you're this and, that and
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: it needs to be, right, bro you need to know
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: exactly what's going, on what to, grade what, happened why
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: did this? Happen is this this who's? Fault and was?
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: This what is going? On da da da da. Da but,
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: yes but if we're talking about just breaking film, down
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: any source that could make film go from six hours
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: to twenty minutes is. Great. YEAH i don't care what nobody.
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: Saying, no, no, NO i agree with what both of
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: you are. Saying AND i think we're gonna find a
- 1:44:17Speaker 2: nice medium ground here when it comes to percentages and someone,
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: saying this is how good this player? DID i do
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: not agree WITH. PFF i, think, YEAH i do. Not
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: you literally have to have A pff employee in every
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: single franchise to sit there and be, like what are your?
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: Grades take me through? It but that does not happen
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: on will. Side being able to watch the film like
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: we're players all over again when we go to get
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: to do this show right here OR espn or something
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: like that infinitely helpful as opposed to watching an even
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: In all twenty two or the YouTube cut up of
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: like here the highlights of what took place because you're
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: able to see the back, view the side, view the front, view.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: Everything, yeah that is extremely. Helpful the one THING i
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: hate is how they put the player's ranking. On say
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: they're on the, game and then they have the it'd
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: be like sixteen, yeah, yeah, yea, yeah sixteen.

- 1:45:28Speaker 1: love just the, debates the arguments and things that go
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: on outside of the outside of the microscope of in those.
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: Buildings but, YEAH i. Do i'm always, like every TIME
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: i see the, Rankings i'm, like, man it sucks because
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: it's yeah if you're if you're, like.
- 1:45:40Speaker 3: He's falling, Off oh my, god ten to, twelve he's
- 1:45:44Speaker 3: good this. Year. YEAH i sit.

- 1:46:06Speaker 2: Does people don't like you do that In august and,
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: so you, know the little life When chach calls were,
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: like let's get don let's let's introduce ourselves to this offensive,
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: line and it just goes Deon dawkins you already, know

- 1:46:18Speaker 2: fuck this dude's making jokes and he's, asks what are
- 1:46:21Speaker 2: we talking?
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: About for? Sure can't have. IT i can't have. It
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: that would that would hurt my. Heart even hearing us
- 1:46:27Speaker 3: play about twenty seven out of thirty two is, uh, yeah, no.
- 1:46:33Speaker 10: Bro.
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: Bro isn't it crazy how your expectation, Changes like when
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: you get in the, league you get drafted at a
- 1:46:39Speaker 2: temple and you're, like holy, dude holy, SHIT i am
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: in THE. Nfl it'd be amazing just to start in a.
- 1:46:44Speaker 2: Game and you get that first start and you're, like, yeah,
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: dude this is. Incredible do you mention WHEN i started
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: all sixteen games or seventeen games and then you? Do
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: and then it's, like what IF i can make A Pro?
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: Bowl and then you? Do and now you've been in
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: this situation where your standard Is Pro, Bowl All pro
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: every single year and you've already achieved goals that you
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: told yourself with make you happy at one. Point but
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: that's truly what THE nfl. Is man like you. Are
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: you're the only the paranoid. Survive that's all. That you
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: just got to keep going no matter.
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: What it's.
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: Crazy what do you when these younger guys are coming
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: in and their eyes are all, Big like what are
- 1:47:15Speaker 2: some of the first things you're telling them when they come?
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: In cause you you were that cat that's like IF
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: i could just play a snap in THE, nfl LIKE
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: i kind of did, it like no matter, what and
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: you've kind of hit that lowest bar for yourself that
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: would make you. Happy but now you're this cat essentially
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: chasing a Hopeful hall Of fame.
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: Career, YEAH I i tell all of the guys to
- 1:47:36Speaker 3: don't shy away from the person that got you, here,
- 1:47:41Speaker 3: right be the person that got you, here the coaches
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: will mold you into the person that they want to
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: see you as best fits for the. Team, right be
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: who you, are right and THEN i always tell, them,
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: bro availability is your best asset in this, league, right being,
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: available being as healthy as you, can doing as much
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: as you can to keep your body ready to. Go
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: this league is one hundred injury. Rate there's some things
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: that you, cannot like you, know a test, with but
- 1:48:12Speaker 3: try to be as available as you can with your
- 1:48:15Speaker 3: process in the training room to be ready to.
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: Play, hey on that, note how nuts is?
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: It?
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: FELLAS i don't know if you've thought about, it BUT i.
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: COULDN'T i could not stop thinking About Philip rivers coming
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: back after five years off and almost like he had the,
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: lead like was on a game winning drive against The Seattle,
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: seahawks like like boys and again That that's that's WHY
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: i kind of give the the moment of that, question
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: Because i'm, like do people can people wrap their brain around?
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: That LIKE i get he's a he's a neck up,
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: guy this and, that but he was just. Coaching he's
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: been coaching high school football for.
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: The last five.
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: Year it's. Incredible like his, son his, Son Dunna rivers
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: has been his. Quarterback he's probably gonna be A d one.
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: Player but they're watching their dad take a phone. Call
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: they're watching their dad take a phone call to go
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: to The Indianapolis colts to try and, help you, know
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: hold on to the season that The colts. Have and
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: he's out there beating for the majority of the, game
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: one of the best defenses in the, league in the,
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: league and you know, that that blows my mind forty
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: five years.
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: Off it's also incredible to me seeing some guys in
- 1:49:32Speaker 2: the mainstream media hate On Philip rivers, playing, like, like
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: why would you do? This you're putting this? Guy you
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: should have called this guy or that, guy this, guy
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: there's some more you're talking. About don't worry about Who
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: i'm talking. About a lot of people want to hate
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: On Philip rivers going out, there and it's, like, bro
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: if any of us were, capable IF i was capable
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: of playing right, now and The Tennessee titans called, me
- 1:49:54Speaker 2: it was, like, listen we need you for two three.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: Games we know we're probably not, contenders.
- 1:50:00Speaker 3: Going going going get? Him yeah, yeah, no one like
- 1:50:05Speaker 3: you just gotta go.
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: Out and it's like he goes out. There there's a
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: couple moments in that game you're, like, yeah he, slipped
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: he kind of crawling. Away is the rush just kind
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: of getting? Him But, bro he's throwing like he's throwing
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: balls in the. Sideline he's throwing dudes open and you
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: can see.
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: The ball to a.
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: Bro there's a couple of there's like a couple of
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: thirty and threes where guy does a little quick lit out.
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: Round he's got a little bit of separation and you
- 1:50:28Speaker 2: see him do his little funny little wind up throwing
- 1:50:31Speaker 2: and that balls missile coming out and then all of a,
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: sudden like halfway, through it just kind of. Doted the
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: ball just kind of putters. Out he just doesn't have
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: what it used to.
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: Have but he.
- 1:50:38Speaker 2: Threw at forty four years, old he throws a touchdown
- 1:50:41Speaker 2: in THE, Nfl and that is fucking. Insane it's, like
- 1:50:45Speaker 2: IT'S i love the. WAY i love that The colts
- 1:50:49Speaker 2: did this because they could have called any, guy they
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: could have called any young cat and then The seahawks
- 1:50:54Speaker 2: would have blown him out forty whatever to ten and
- 1:50:56Speaker 2: that would have kind of been. It but the fact
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: That Philip, rivers like all of, us kind of tune
- 1:51:00Speaker 2: into that. Game not you because you're, playing but like
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: we tune in that game and be, like, yo look at, Him,
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: Man i've played against this. Guy i'm washed And i'm
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: thirty four and ten years older than me playing in the.
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: League, Yeah i'm sitting there tim before the game, started
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: making sure the TV's got the right channel on Because
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: I'm i'm. Legit lem me just, curious like is he
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: gonna be able to do?
- 1:51:18Speaker 3: This?
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: Yes clearly he had the. Relationship you guys, know it's
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: a lot about relationships when you're in THE, nfl like
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: if you're getting a call to come back or anything,
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: else like if you have a trust or a bond
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: with a coach like Stiking In. RIVERS i think we're
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: together like eight years prior to. That Philip rivers is
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: Running stikeen's offense with his high school football. Team. Yeah
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: and then just to sit there the game's about to
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: come on his high school team or some players back,
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: home like they're they're sitting in a spot watching the
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: game ON tv and everybody's just waiting to see is
- 1:51:46Speaker 1: he gonna be able to do? This? Right and to
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: see him go out there and compete like, that and
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: he's got a full on dad, Bod like.
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: You can see. It you can see he's.
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: Got the win breaker on pre game to where it's
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: chests like it's you, know it's thicker and it's kind
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: of the wind breakers covering the belly and everything.
- 1:52:04Speaker 2: Else but just the wind comes, by you, see, like,
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: oh that's just. Belly that ain't that ain't just a
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: BIGGER t.
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: Shirt this is a.
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: Full on Dad like we're watching the Movie The. Rookie
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: we're watching the Movie warrior where the high school teacher
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: goes in the octagon of fights and they're all watching
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: around THE tv to see if their their high school
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: coach can go out there and play ON Nfl.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: Sunday CAN i point out one thing that the world
- 1:52:23Speaker 2: kind of? Needs it was kind of talked about a
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: little bit On. Twitter Philip rivers has twenty, kids seven

- 1:52:46Speaker 2: out of the league for five, years you lose your.
- 1:52:48Speaker 2: Healthcare well this has been his fifth. Year, yes like
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: they when you are a vested. Player you get healthcare
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: for five years at the he doesn't know. Yet you
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: get healthcare for five, years and then after that you
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: were expected to pay for your own healthcare after. That,
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: well this is the fifth year For Philip, rivers and
- 1:53:07Speaker 2: if he plays one, game which he did, yesterday that
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: next five years restarts like this is this is a
