• 1:32
Speaker 1: Who do we have in the guest spot?
• 1:35
Speaker 2: You know we've been sitting here all morning looking at this blue glow whatever.
• 1:41
Speaker 2: Anyway, this 2021 red-eyed Charger sitting over here that's got all kinds of stuff on it.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: Well, the first hood.
• 1:48
Speaker 1: Let's not even get to the hood.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: Let's talk about the doors.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: You know they don't look factory to me.
• 1:52
Speaker 2: This is AJ Rosella.
• 1:53
Speaker 2: Aj Rosella, did I say his name?
• 1:56
Speaker 2: Yes, sir, I was too busy talking about the car, sorry.
• 2:00
Speaker 3: AJ, what color is it?
• 2:01
Speaker 3: It is a factory Dodge.
• 2:03
  Speaker 3: Indigo Blue.
• 2:04
Speaker 3: You didn't repaint it did you Factory paint you?
• 2:07
Speaker 1: repainted it with factory color.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: No, sir, no it's original Original.
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: It's original paint.
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
• 2:12
Speaker 3: Everybody gets on to me about why I don't wrap it, but I love that factory color.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: Why would you wrap it?
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: No, I don't wrap it.
• 2:18
Speaker 3: That's 100% everything on it, no paint work, all original now what about those, uh, those, the wide body kit.
• 2:23
Speaker 3: So this is a.
• 2:24
Speaker 3: This is the red eye wide body charger.
• 2:27
Speaker 3: It comes that way.
• 2:27
Speaker 3: So this is one of the.
• 2:28
Speaker 3: This is the red eye, not the hellcat.
• 2:30
Speaker 3: It's the red eye hellcat.
• 2:30
  Speaker 3: It's the 800 horsepower version.
• 2:32
Speaker 3: Okay that's now you're bragging again oh, it makes way more than 800 I'm sure it does you've been fiddling with it, haven't you uh a lot I, I can't sleep at night, yeah, exactly.
• 2:45
Speaker 1: But first of all, though, I have to ask about the doors.
• 2:47
Speaker 1: Okay, them ain't factory doors.
• 2:50
  Speaker 3: Sir, no sir.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: Vertical doors California sponsored the car gave us the kit, we installed it.
• 2:58
Speaker 1: How difficult was that?
• 2:59
Speaker 1: It just seems like a total pain to get them to fit.
• 3:03
  Speaker 3: Fitment is perfect.
• 3:05
Speaker 3: It's the wiring in the door that you got to watch out, because when the door comes up it stretches them, so you've got to be careful and extend the wires okay you said, we did it what is, who is we and what shop?
• 3:14
Speaker 3: Is that so I own gns automotive, the sponsor here, and several of these cars we've done.
• 3:19
Speaker 2: We see that on the place, so we we've done, um, we do automotive repair.
• 3:23
Speaker 3: We used to build cars.
• 3:24
Speaker 3: Kind of got away from that now, kind of just more general repair stuff.
• 3:27
Speaker 3: So we did the car.
• 3:29
Speaker 1: Do they build wiring extensions for the doors?
• 3:32
Speaker 1: No, you've got to do it yourself.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: That's the hard part.
• 3:35
Speaker 3: You're one at a time, so everything that's in that door harness In that loom.
• 3:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, electric doors, electric windows, everything.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: Well, you know, when they build a car you know this, mars, we were schooled in this that the doors don't go with the car once the car is built, the car goes that way and the doors go there because it is the single most complicated thing on the entire car.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: That's right the doors it's not just the alignment, but all, all the electronics, the doors, the window, stuff, everything.
• 4:06
Speaker 2: It's a lot, and you factor in the leverage, the weight of the door itself On the hinge itself.
• 4:11
Speaker 3: yeah, those are the factory doors right.
• 4:13
Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I mean the kit comes with everything complete, so it's a direct bolt-in kit, except the wiring Right.
• 4:21
Speaker 3: Well, some people don't, I do.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: I'm a perfectionist, so I had to extend them, martha, that the window ain't rolling down no more.
• 4:34
Speaker 1: Oh well, there's the end of the wire hanging out of the car.
• 4:36
  Speaker 2: It's happened.
• 4:36
Speaker 3: Oh, touch them two wires together you know the good news it's always the back door, it's never the front doors, it's literally the back door.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: Has stopped on me once already so the back doors do the same, or they just traditional.
• 4:47
Speaker 2: But they're factory traditional is what he's saying.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: The doors are a total pain, I'm telling you.
• 4:51
Speaker 1: I don't care what kind of kit they make, there is always something with the door.
• 4:56
Speaker 3: You got to be patient.
• 4:57
Speaker 3: When you put it on, you're right, the alignment's not exact and you're screwing it, tightening it, loosening it to get it right.
• 5:02
Speaker 3: I mean they fit perfect.
• 5:04
Speaker 3: I mean they close like you can't even tell it's Lambo doors until you really lift them?
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: Well, I don't know.
• 5:08
Speaker 1: I can't speak for Dodge, but I can speak for Toyota because I saw how the doors were made.
• 5:18
Speaker 1: Because at the factory that built the Corolla in northern Mississippi they took us on a tour of the factory in northern Mississippi.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: They took us on a tour of the factory.
• 5:24
Speaker 1: And at the back of the factory, at the back of the factory they probably know each other.
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: His son-in-law is a policeman.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, david's got warrants, I'm warrants.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: At the back of the factory they had the stamping plant.
• 5:38
Speaker 1: So they stamped the whole car back there and we I sat there and watched this ginormous machine come down and stamp the whole side of the car, not the fenders, but the back fender and the doors.
• 5:52
Speaker 1: Okay, that was all one flat piece of steel.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: And the thing comes down and boom out, there's the doors, and the doors then are cut after the stamping, but every door stays with that side panel of the car because there's just that much difference between the stamping.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: Then they do it and they cut it right.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: So they keep the doors with the exterior, the surround, if you will, of the door, and that all stays in a rack and they know which one is which and it goes on to the assembly line You're going.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: How do you keep all of that straight?
• 6:35
Speaker 1: Now, I don't know whether they do, but I have a feeling that they do.
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: They probably do.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, the same way.
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: Process.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're telling me that the doors fit with this kit on there if it, if you ever wreck the car, you're going to get a replacement.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: Let's say you get a replacement door from dodge right and you try to put that door on there.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: It's not going to fit the same way, no way I agree, yeah, so it's bagged, sir.
• 7:03
Speaker 3: It's fully airlift, all four corners, dual compressors, so it lifts all four corners.
• 7:09
Speaker 3: You can do front or back.
• 7:10
Speaker 1: You haven't had one of those lines, go pow.
• 7:13
Speaker 3: You know, the good news is the old airbags did do that.
• 7:15
Speaker 3: With these new lines and the way they do them now, that's really impossible to have technology improvements.
• 7:19
Speaker 1: What's the difference in the lines?
• 7:21
Speaker 3: Because now they use a 5-8ths line.
• 7:22
Speaker 3: It's a hardened line where they used to use airlines like old diesel lines.
• 7:25
Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, those were rubber, they'd get hot.
• 7:27
Speaker 3: I mean, it's happened to me before on other cars.
• 7:29
Speaker 3: These, they're pretty much bulletproof.
• 7:32
  Speaker 2: That's good.
• 7:32
Speaker 3: And they're a cool-over type bag too, so it's a real active suspension.
• 7:36
Speaker 3: The bag goes out.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: You're not going to suspension from the factory, so it maintains that you know your sport mode, your race mode, track mode.
• 7:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, it maintains that it does.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: Yes, sir, so it's a kit.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: Yes, it's made for that car, absolutely, oh my god, they make that too.
• 7:57
Speaker 2: Yes, they do golly, I had no clue, yeah you can program this one from a cell phone.
• 7:59
Speaker 3: You can pretty much do anything you want with it.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: Where did you say your shop was?
• 8:02
Speaker 3: It's here locally in spring branch off of gesner I have two shops, both off gesner.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: You like Spring Branch?
• 8:09
Speaker 3: I was born and raised here.
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: Were you?
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
• 8:11
Speaker 1: Did you go to high school when it was here?
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: I did not.
• 8:13
Speaker 3: I went to Springwoods High School.
• 8:14
Speaker 3: Springwoods it's rival, yeah yeah, yeah Well you're still sitting there.
• 8:19
Speaker 2: Got to have them rivals.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: Got to Spring Branch property Absolutely.
• 8:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, I lived in Spring Branch my whole life, loyal to Spring Branch, and these people are loyal to us.
• 8:29
Speaker 3: Well, yeah you stay loyal to the folks that are loyal to you.
• 8:32
  Speaker 3: Absolutely Community.
• 8:33
Speaker 3: I love being in my community.
• 8:36
Speaker 1: We talked about the wide body kit Now.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: So the interesting thing about this one you don't see the screws or how it's attached to the actual fenders.
• 8:44
Speaker 1: Correct, because it's factory.
• 8:46
  Speaker 2: They snap in.
• 8:47
Speaker 3: It came from the factory that way, as far as the body modifications other than the add-ons, the wide body kit, the fender flares, all that came from as factory splitter too.
• 8:57
Speaker 3: And that splitter is no, sir, that is a carbon fiber anderson splitter.
• 9:01
Speaker 3: That's something we purchased and put on all the carbon fiber inside and outside.
• 9:05
Speaker 2: We put those on where's the little yellow things that go on the front?
• 9:08
Speaker 1: those are the protectors I ain't gonna lie, those came, I'm not even going to lie.
• 9:13
Speaker 3: Those didn't even last at the dealership.
• 9:14
Speaker 3: I took them off as soon as I got delivered the car.
• 9:16
Speaker 2: Well, some people think they're supposed to be there.
• 9:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they shouldn't be owning that car I know some Dodge people.
• 9:21
Speaker 3: They just shake their head when they see it they go, that's not what that's for More power, your appliance, you got to take the plastic.
• 9:34
Speaker 3: I tell people hey, if that's your idea, I you know I, I don't make fun of other people's ideas and build that.
• 9:36
Speaker 2: People look at this they may hate it, but I didn't build it for them.
• 9:37
Speaker 2: If I put them on my car, that means we'd both be wrong, right?
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: wheels.
• 9:41
Speaker 3: So let's yeah wheels those are uh weld wheels so they're custom made because of the brakes on these cars stick out, so weld makes the rear and fronts um, so it's a 20-inch on the front, 17-inch on the back, 315 on the rear.
• 9:58
Speaker 2: So when you say the brakes stick out, but it looks like the offset is to the inside.
• 10:03
Speaker 3: Well, if you look at where the spokes are on the front especially, it has to be kept forward Because the brakes it barely not, hits it's so close it sits right next to that caliper.
• 10:13
Speaker 3: I mean, if you look at that first little spindle right there, it's right next to the caliper.
• 10:18
Speaker 2: Because you can go zero and then you go negative.
• 10:19
Speaker 3: Right, and I actually have a three-millimeter spacer on it just to keep it from hitting, because that's how close it is.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: And there is a.
• 10:25
Speaker 1: Those are stock calipers.
• 10:29
Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I painted them, the brake kits.
• 10:31
Speaker 3: It comes with these big brakes on the red ones.
• 10:33
Speaker 3: They're big brakes, they stop.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: What about the lip on the rear spoiler?
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: Is that stock?
• 10:42
  Speaker 3: It's custom made.
• 10:42
  Speaker 3: It lights up.
• 10:43
Speaker 3: Of course it does, of course.
• 10:46
Speaker 3: Right, it's going to be blue.
• 10:48
Speaker 3: It lights up any color you want.
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
• 10:52
Speaker 3: The car has 16 ghost boxes on it, which is probably the most that you'll ever see, and you can literally light the car in any color you choose, and you can do multiple do they?
• 11:01
Speaker 3: Talk to each other.
• 11:02
Speaker 3: Probably internally they do yeah because they're all done by wi-fi and you know and they communicate, they do so the car can.
• 11:07
Speaker 3: You can make the whole car do everything the same.
• 11:09
Speaker 3: So the interior, exterior lights underneath it you can.
• 11:10
Speaker 3: Make the whole car do everything the same, so the interior, exterior lights underneath it you can do it, and I assume that's a kit too.
• 11:14
Speaker 3: It is my 16-year-old son, the kid that's hiding behind there.
• 11:18
Speaker 3: He's the one that did all the lights on it.
• 11:20
Speaker 2: Well, good for you, young man.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: And which one's yours?
• 11:23
Speaker 3: You got the Toyota right Right-hand drive Toyota that's a twin-turbo, 98 Risto, it's the MK4 super motor in it.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: And let me just say this Now that I see the back of it, I believe that Lexus took that body and called it a GS.
• 11:39
Speaker 3: So James does own a GS300 as well.
• 11:41
Speaker 3: When Japan built the Risto you're correct they brought to the United States as a Lexus GS300.
• 11:47
Speaker 3: They're the exact same platform.
• 11:48
  Speaker 3: I mean, they're identical.
• 11:50
Speaker 3: We own a GS300 the same year, You're right.
• 11:54
Speaker 1: Oh it's a Mercedes, it looked like a Mercedes.
• 11:57
Speaker 3: A lot of people like hey 50% of people ask us what Mercedes is that?
• 12:01
  Speaker 3: And you're right.
• 12:02
Speaker 3: A lot of people think it is just because it's a luxury car.
• 12:04
Speaker 3: It's just Japan's version of a luxury sports car, because that's what it is a twin turbo.
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: It's a pretty car.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: Have you fiddled with the engine in that one?
• 12:16
Speaker 3: Well, you know, of course, I have.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: That's the answer to everything.
• 12:21
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I can't leave nothing alone.
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: I got a Norge refrigerator.
• 12:25
Speaker 1: I fiddled with that too.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: Now it's got 500 horsepower and it's pinstriped.
• 12:28
Speaker 3: The only stock car I own is the GT500, and that's my wife's, and she would not let me mess with it until it was out of warranty, so now I'm fixing them on it.
• 12:35
Speaker 2: So wait a minute and the Edsel's yours too right.
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: That's correct.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: And so the Mustang, the GT500, that's the wife's.
• 12:42
Speaker 1: Yes, sir, did she bring it here today?
• 12:44
Speaker 3: No, sir, who brought it?
• 12:45
  Speaker 3: I did.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: She let you pulled up at.
• 12:48
Speaker 3: Edsel, I went back and got them.
• 12:50
Speaker 2: My shop's not that far from here, Gotcha, did you walk?
• 12:54
  Speaker 3: No sir.
• 12:54
Speaker 1: No, you probably had a battery-operated team member.
• 12:58
Speaker 3: See that blue van over there?
• 12:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's my shuttle van?
• 13:01
Speaker 2: Of course it is.
• 13:01
Speaker 2: That's his daily driver.
• 13:03
  Speaker 3: That's right.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: So actually this is going to be renamed next year the GS Automotive Car Show.
• 13:09
Speaker 1: We, the GS Automotive Car Show.
• 13:10
Speaker 3: We'll bring them all next year.
• 13:11
  Speaker 3: We've got a couple more.
• 13:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that's good.
• 13:15
Speaker 2: I wanted to ask about under the hood of the Charger.
• 13:18
Speaker 3: Okay, so this is a 2.7 stock blower ported throttle body.
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: Wait a minute.
• 13:24
Speaker 1: So what did it originally come with?
• 13:27
Speaker 3: It was a 797 horsepower car.
• 13:29
  Speaker 3: It's a 2.7.
• 13:30
Speaker 3: That's the original blower.
• 13:32
Speaker 1: Okay, that is the stock blower, but you made modifications to the blower.
• 13:35
  Speaker 3: Correct.
• 13:35
Speaker 3: It came stock 14.5 pounds of boost.
• 13:38
  Speaker 3: We're at 24.
• 13:39
Speaker 3: We've got throttle body, air intake, green cats.
• 13:43
Speaker 3: It runs 100% on E85 race fuel Boosted pump, bigger injectors.
• 13:48
Speaker 3: It makes about 1100 horsepower.
• 13:50
Speaker 2: So what do you?
• 13:51
Speaker 3: got in the rear end, stock 282.
• 13:54
  Speaker 3: Red-eye, that's right, stock red-eye.
• 13:56
Speaker 3: Does it just go up in smoke?
• 13:58
Speaker 3: Oh, you can't hook on this car.
• 13:59
Speaker 3: You got to go 60 roll or better.
• 14:01
  Speaker 3: I was wondering.
• 14:03
Speaker 3: You can't even hook.
• 14:04
Speaker 3: Even on the drag riddles that are on the back, you can't hook.
• 14:06
Speaker 3: I mean, it's over 1,000 foot-pounds of torque to the wheels.
• 14:09
  Speaker 3: It doesn't hook.
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: It spins.
• 14:12
  Speaker 3: It does.
• 14:13
Speaker 2: And it's scary fast and it smells good when that rubber is like flying in your face.
• 14:17
  Speaker 3: It does.
• 14:18
  Speaker 3: It's a smoke machine.
• 14:19
Speaker 3: I mean, doing a burnout in this car is effortless, like you, literally, if you can't do a burnout in this car, don't even try.
• 14:23
Speaker 2: Just create your own little EPA dump right there in the red light.
• 14:26
Speaker 3: I mean, you can go like half throttle and just stand there.
• 14:30
Speaker 2: So what does the street in front of your house look like.
• 14:32
Speaker 3: Is it a blacktop with marks?
• 14:33
Speaker 3: My shop looks like that.
• 14:36
  Speaker 2: My house.
• 14:36
Speaker 2: I keep all the.
• 14:37
Speaker 2: You just don't bring work home, that's right.
• 14:39
Speaker 1: Do you have a dyno at your shop?
• 14:40
Speaker 1: No, sir, do you dyno your engines?
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: I do.
• 14:44
Speaker 3: Every car I have I dyno, tune them.
• 14:46
Speaker 3: And where do you dyno?
• 14:54
Speaker 3: I use a guy named Jason Herrera Stupid, fast and then I use Alex Pite's performance out in Humble.
• 14:58
Speaker 2: It's our spring, I think we talked to him.
• 14:59
Speaker 3: Alex Pite, he's the one that does all the vets with the twin turbos and stuff on them.
• 15:01
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 15:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, so we had him on the air because I have a stock LS1 2001 Corvette.
• 15:09
Speaker 3: Yes, you need a harmonic balancer.
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: I do.
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: You heard these.
• 15:11
  Speaker 3: You're listening.
• 15:12
  Speaker 3: That's a heck of a job.
• 15:13
Speaker 3: Rack has to come out.
• 15:14
Speaker 3: I know Two pieces.
• 15:15
Speaker 3: That's why I'm not doing it.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: The engine 99% of people that touch that car are going to mess that engine up if they don't know what they're doing Okay.
• 15:21
Speaker 3: Well, where am I taking it To Mr Pike?
• 15:27
Speaker 3: Alex Pike, Chevy GM products LS.
• 15:29
Speaker 1: And has he done that job before?
• 15:32
Speaker 3: I wouldn't admit to answer that question.
• 15:33
Speaker 3: I know that he knows that platform real well, probably better than pretty much most of your shops If he doesn't know?
• 15:38
Speaker 1: he knows somebody Right.
• 15:38
Speaker 3: I mean there's not a lot of guys that are messing with those motors anymore, but Alex has a humongous amount of experience with that platform, so I mean he does phenomenal work.
• 15:46
Speaker 3: I mean he's tuned this car and it was dead on perfect every time.
• 15:51
Speaker 1: That's good to know because I'm kind of steering in that direction to take it up there to him, because I've got to find somebody that I can trust, because pulling it off of there is one thing, but putting it back on is the trick.
• 16:05
Speaker 3: Without damaging the crank and everything, because, yeah, it's two pieces on that car, I know, and if it was one piece it'd be simple.
• 16:11
Speaker 3: But that two-piece is not an easy job and I know a lot of people have messed up cars doing it.
• 16:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I am not worthy of that kind of job and I'm too old and I'm not getting on my back underneath doing it, no, and trying to reach over and down.
• 16:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, hell, no, heck, we'll watch them.
• 16:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll watch them.
• 16:30
Speaker 1: You ain't watching me because it ain't going to happen.
• 16:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll be watching you sit on the couch watching the Alabama game.
• 16:35
  Speaker 3: That's exactly right.
• 16:38
Speaker 2: I understand that, but they either score or once in a while.
• 16:40
Speaker 1: So, AJ, what do you do over there?
• 16:44
  Speaker 3: At our shop.
• 16:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, basically we've stuck to general repair.
• 16:46
Speaker 3: Now, you know ACs, brakes dispensions, you know.
• 16:51
Speaker 1: How many people I mean how many mechanics you got.
• 16:54
Speaker 3: I've got two shops.
• 16:55
Speaker 3: I've got six people total Four bays at one, three bays at the other.
• 17:00
Speaker 3: So we have one physically on Gessner and then one down the street on Gessner, Because we do a lot of fleet accounts so we have a lot of companies that we do work for.
• 17:07
Speaker 3: So that's really Solid work, consistent work yeah Right.
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: That's always good.
• 17:12
  Speaker 1: It's excellent yeah.
• 17:14
Speaker 3: It's my fun shop.
• 17:15
  Speaker 3: I call it.
• 17:16
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 17:16
Speaker 3: It allows me to do these kind of things, yeah.
• 17:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, nice stuff, good collection.
• 17:21
  Speaker 3: Thank you yeah.
• 17:23
Speaker 1: So we see what you brought.
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: So what's left?
• 17:27
Speaker 3: So the Bronco that was here was ours.
• 17:29
Speaker 1: The Bronco yeah, that's a good looking.
• 17:30
Speaker 1: That's pretty good, very nice so.
• 17:32
Speaker 3: I own the same car as that blue one, but mine is a silver, it's the non-turbo one.
• 17:37
  Speaker 3: So I have a right-hand side Aristo, non-turbo.
• 17:39
Speaker 3: I just bought a new Supra, a 23 Supra, with a little BMW motor in it, with a turbo.
• 17:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got an F-150 2024 Platinum, and then I've got a Fox Body 88 Fox Body with a 393 stroker in it.
• 17:53
Speaker 3: And then I've got a 1985 Ram Charger with a built motor, built trans, fuel-injected, fun little truck, old school.
• 18:01
Speaker 2: And this is your only son, or you've got other?
• 18:02
  Speaker 3: children.
• 18:03
Speaker 3: That's my only son, three daughters, one son, okay, and they all participate and drive and work.
• 18:09
Speaker 3: Well, one's 20, he's 16, and then my other girls are only 8 and 10, so they're going to be driving at 11.
• 18:15
Speaker 3: All my kids start driving at 11.
• 18:16
  Speaker 3: Oh wow.
• 18:18
Speaker 2: And he's going to adopt us next week.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: Come on by guys, Absolutely.
• 18:22
Speaker 2: I want to know about the Edsel.
• 18:23
Speaker 2: Just a quick recap on the Edsel, the Edsel's weird 58?
• 18:27
  Speaker 3: 59 Edsel Ranger.
• 18:28
Speaker 3: I actually bought it here in Spring Branch and at a state sale.
• 18:31
Speaker 3: So I knew some people that do estate sales and they couldn't get anybody to bid on the car.
• 18:36
Speaker 3: So they called me and said hey, we know you, we know, you know Hot Rods, come by and bid on it.
• 18:40
Speaker 3: So I went and bid on it.
• 18:41
Speaker 3: I had no intentions of buying it.
• 18:42
Speaker 3: It was in pieces, everything was in the trunk.
• 18:44
  Speaker 1: Oh really.
• 18:47
Speaker 3: So it was sitting under trees, some guy passed.
• 18:49
Speaker 3: I went back and bid on it again, just trying to help these people out get it up.
• 18:52
Speaker 3: And then the guy called me and says look, give me $10 more than you bid you can have it.
• 18:56
Speaker 3: So I bought that car for $4,810 in pieces.
• 19:00
  Speaker 3: How?
• 19:01
Speaker 1: long did it take you to?
• 19:01
Speaker 2: put it back together About a month.
• 19:03
Speaker 3: Is that original paint?
• 19:04
  Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
• 19:05
  Speaker 2: Looks good.
• 19:07
  Speaker 3: Everything was original.
• 19:08
Speaker 3: The guy that owned it I didn't get the pleasure of meeting the guy.
• 19:10
Speaker 3: I know he was a big Edsel guy.
• 19:12
Speaker 3: He had three of these.
• 19:13
Speaker 3: Everything on it when I bought it was 100% original.
• 19:17
Speaker 3: I actually did add vintage AC in it because he had the original AC.
• 19:21
Speaker 3: Those are cables and that's out of my.
• 19:24
Speaker 2: I didn't want to deal with all that.
• 19:25
Speaker 3: So I put vintage AC the battery.
• 19:27
Speaker 3: I put an aftermarket battery, but it does have the stock radiator.
• 19:30
Speaker 3: Even when it broke I sent it out to Liberty Radiator and had them rebuild it because it's just so cool to keep the old radiator in it.
• 19:35
Speaker 3: So 95% of it is original.
• 19:41
Speaker 1: Why have you been waiting to talk to us?
• 19:43
Speaker 1: I mean, we all run in the same circle.
• 19:44
