- 0:02Hey, guys, welcome to the live stream.
- 0:03Welcome to the basement. Thank you for joining me.
- 0:06Yes, you're in a basement in Saint Louis.
- 0:10And yes, we're going to talk about your favorite subject,
- 0:13silver and gold. We got a ton to cover today.
- 0:16There is so much going on. Big, big stories unfolding.
- 0:21We're going to talk about the demise of the US dollar.
- 0:24What's Janet Yellen herself saying and about big
- 0:28developments going on with the BRICS countries, Brazil, Russia,
- 0:31India, China, South Africa and is Africa making moves as a
- 0:36continent to move towards the gold standard?
- 0:40Now some of us Americans are mistaken and we think Africa is
- 0:43a country, Africa is a continent.
- 0:46I can even find myself slipping up sometimes made-up of a
- 0:49multitude of countries with massive amounts of natural
- 0:54resources. Guys, we got to talk about
- 0:56Africa moving toward a gold standard and, and we're going to
- 1:01shift gears a little bit later and talk about silver.
- 1:04Can you really buy silver right now for like 5% over spot?
- 1:10What is going on? What does it mean?
- 1:12We're going to talk about premiums and how you can maybe
- 1:16get your hands on some silver for prices that we haven't seen
- 1:20in a long, long, long time. But first, I want to give you a
- 1:23very serious warning. We're doing a giveaway with our
- 1:28channel sponsor, Pembax. We've got three of these
- 1:32beautiful Coca-Cola silver bars. There are scammers out there.
- 1:37Warning, warning, warning. There's a video that you can go
- 1:41to. There'll be a link in this
- 1:42video, All my videos. There's a giveaway video that
- 1:45you go to and you leave a comment that says thanks,
- 1:48Pembeks. I will never, ever reach out to
- 1:52you before the end of the giveaway.
- 1:55The date of the giveaway, which is August 31st.
- 1:57There are scammers. They're everywhere on YouTube.
- 2:01They take my picture, they make it look like it's me.
- 2:04They send you a message saying you won.
- 2:06That's an absolute scam. Please don't fall for it.
- 2:10We're doing everything we can on our end to mitigate this to to
- 2:14eliminate these people from the channel, reporting them to
- 2:17YouTube and all that. But they are insidious.
- 2:19They're like cockroaches. So I wanted to share that with
- 2:23you, please. If you get a message from
- 2:26somebody that looks like me, it's not me.
- 2:29If you ever want to get a hold of me, my e-mail address is
- 2:31always in the description of this and every video.
- 2:35But let's talk about what Janet Yellen said about the US dollar.
- 2:38Guys, if the US dollar goes into the toilet, the.
- 2:41Value of your gold and silver. Does not go into the toilet OK.
- 2:46Let's go take a look at this, 'cause this was big, big news.
- 2:51We've got Yellen. Admitting that sanctions could
- 2:54impact the US dollar dominance as concerns mount over dollar
- 2:59hegemony, hegemony, whatever. However you say that word, that
- 3:03word basically means dominance. The hegemony means the fact that
- 3:08the US dollar had. Ruled the world.
- 3:10For the last 50 years and that at that now is coming to a
- 3:15quick, quick end now. Just briefly, let's talk about
- 3:20what she said. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen
- 3:23on Tuesday testified before the House Financial Services
- 3:27Committee. She said that one of her
- 3:28concerns is how to best protect the international status of the
- 3:33US dollar. Yeah, this the fact that the US
- 3:35dollar has been the bully of the world for the last 50 years.
- 3:39That's really what she's saying as U.S. financial sanctions have
- 3:44pushed more countries to seek alternative financial
- 3:47transactions. Guys, this is insane.
- 3:49This is it's almost humorous method, financial transit
- 3:54methods that do not involve the US dollar.
- 3:56So they're wondering that, think about this.
- 3:59They're wondering why countries and this all, we're going to
- 4:02talk about the BRICS, we're going to talk about Africa all
- 4:05moving away from the dollar. But think about this, they're
- 4:08wondering why are countries moving away from the dollar?
- 4:12Well, we got a clue for you, Janet.
- 4:14Let's get Janet out. It's been a couple days.
- 4:18Inside this box is our friend Janet Yellen.
- 4:23OK, we got. We got.
- 4:27News for you, Janet. When you put sanctions on
- 4:31countries, when you take their dollars away from them, when you
- 4:35don't allow them to trade in U.S. dollars, think about it.
- 4:40What are they going to do? Well, they're going to move away
- 4:43from the dollar. Hello.
- 4:45So the more countries you sanction, right?
- 4:48Russia, whatever, Iran, I mean there's a whole list.
- 4:51North Korea, who knows? The more countries that you do
- 4:56not let trade and put sanctions. On They're going to move.
- 5:00They're going to move away from the dollar.
- 5:02OK, sorry, didn't mean to be harsh there, Janet.
- 5:05But US basement dwellers, we're a little fed up with this BS.
- 5:09Their remarks from Yellen have shed light on growing concerns
- 5:12regarding U.S. dollar hegemony. Hey Gemani.
- 5:16Experts believe that the weaponization of the US dollar
- 5:20will reduce its dominance in the world dominance as the world
- 5:25moves toward local currency settlements and accelerates and
- 5:30and accelerate policies to facilitate.
- 5:32De. Dollarization.
- 5:34Yeah, OK. In her testimony before
- 5:37Committee of Financial Services in the US House of
- 5:39Representatives, Yellen said that more sanctions.
- 5:43This is Oh my gosh. Yellen said that the more
- 5:46sanctions that the US imposed, the more countries will seek
- 5:50financial transaction methods that do not involve the US
- 5:53dollar. Like we just said, guys, I mean,
- 5:56it's it's just wow. I wonder how much money she
- 6:00makes for forgetting to say all this stuff.
- 6:03Yes, if you sanction countries, if you don't let them trade in
- 6:08U.S. dollars, guess what? They're not going to use U.S.
- 6:11dollars. They're going to use the new
- 6:13bricks settlement currencies. They're going to use gold.
- 6:16They're going to use other things.
- 6:18I mean, come on, Eisenhower. I I'm telling you guys, the
- 6:22founding fathers of this country are rolling over in their grave.
- 6:26I went to Susie and I went to visit Lincoln's tomb up in
- 6:29Springfield before the girls were born 15 years ago.
- 6:32I bet if we went there now together, I don't know where
- 6:35Jefferson's buried or washed. They're all you're going to
- 6:38think there's an earthquake. Those guys are rolling over in
- 6:41their graves about what's going on.
- 6:43Don't forget, on top of it all, OK, this fall or September, I
- 6:48believe it is. We've got a major BRICS meeting,
- 6:51BRICS summit in Russia. We know a couple things.
- 6:55We know that the big Russian finance ministers are talking
- 6:59about wanting to have a settlement currency, and they're
- 7:02eluding. All right, I'm not going to.
- 7:05I don't want to spread misinformation because none of
- 7:07this is written in stone. But there are some people who
- 7:10believe it's almost a done deal, that they're talking about a
- 7:13settlement currency that will be backed at least in some part by
- 7:18gold, gold, silver, other real assets.
- 7:21We know that. We know that Vladimir Putin has
- 7:25explicitly said. That that's what they want.
- 7:28They want to move away. I mean, he said it himself.
- 7:30It's an unbelievable quote from Putin saying the West thinks
- 7:34they can use all this make believe ferry money.
- 7:37I forget how he said it, right? They want to move.
- 7:39So we know that's going on. What else do we know?
- 7:42We know there's this project in bridge from the Bank for
- 7:45International Settlements, right?
- 7:47We know that there's all these new agreements being forged not
- 7:52just between the BRICS countries, but other countries
- 7:54as well, where they are moving away from the US dollar.
- 7:58Look, I don't like it, you don't like it, but we got to admit
- 8:00what's going on. And to a certain degree, right,
- 8:04we almost can't blame these countries.
- 8:06They're tired of of sanctions. They're tired of being bullied
- 8:10by the. US and the US dollar.
- 8:12Why don't we all? You know what I want to say
- 8:13quickly to you. Thank you for being here.
- 8:16Yes, you. You are you.
- 8:18I'm talking to you. It's always just one you, and
- 8:22you are very important. You're the most important part
- 8:24of Ron's basement. If you want to do something
- 8:26nice, find that button that looks like that.
- 8:28Thumbs up. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 8:30We'll get the word out to more and more people.
- 8:32Leave a comment in the comment section.
- 8:35OK, I see Jake from Jake's custom parts.
- 8:37I see. Annie Oakley I got like Mr.
- 8:40Rogers mirror. I can see you guys.
- 8:42Thank you Echo Leaf. Thank you Daniel for being here.
- 8:45What a great community so guys like.
- 8:50Not crackpots OK, smart people are talking about this fall.
- 8:56I have even heard somebody like saved like all it sounds like a
- 8:59done deal that this fall we could have a gold backed
- 9:04settlement currency. I'm not saying I think that's
- 9:06going to happen, but we are moving in that direction.
- 9:09OK, it's a. Big, big deal.
- 9:11And we know. We know, right?
- 9:14Think about Russia. Think about Russia.
- 9:17All right, Let's think about unfortunate.
- 9:19This is not happy news for us. I mean, America, we've been
- 9:22under, and I'm not going to go into the big assassination
- 9:24attempt thing. Yes, it's horrible news.
- 9:26Yes, it's very disturbing what went on.
- 9:30There's so much coverage on it. I figure you're here to talk
- 9:32about silver and gold. But I do want to recognize it's
- 9:35a very disturbing situation. It creates massive uncertainty,
- 9:40OK, And we're going to get back to Russia in a second.
- 9:42But it creates massive uncertainty right now.
- 9:45Think about, you know, and Joe Biden was apparently did a, a, a
- 9:49press conference from the Oval Office last night.
- 9:52And more signs of mental deterioration.
- 9:56OK, Everybody's saying it, even even the liberal media.
- 9:59So I guess I can say it without getting censored.
- 10:02It's not a good situation right now.
- 10:04A massive amount of uncertainty in our world on both the
- 10:08democratic and the Republic. I mean, it's just, it's really a
- 10:11scary situation. Now, enough of that.
- 10:14I promised I wouldn't. Russia think about.
- 10:16Russia, think about, think about. 2 1/2 years ago when the
- 10:21war in Ukraine started, and remember Russia, we were going
- 10:23to eliminate them from the world.
- 10:25The ruble is going to be rubble. That's what Joe said.
- 10:29Joe Biden, our president at the time, he said we're going to
- 10:32make the ruble and the rubble. Well, guys, the reality is the
- 10:36Russian economy has done very, very well through all this.
- 10:40They're forging strong relationships with countries
- 10:44like China. They're forging strong
- 10:46relationships with North Korea. Vietnam was one of the most
- 10:50recent. Think about this.
- 10:52This is crazy. We got to stay on top of world
- 10:56politics, guys, 'cause we live in the world.
- 10:58We just wherever you're joining me from, right?
- 11:00You might be in Texas. I know one of you's in Texas.
- 11:03You might be in Missouri. Look, I'm, I'm a Missouri
- 11:06hillbilly. I'm, I'm proud to admit it, huh?
- 11:09You might be wherever you are, OK, wherever you are.
- 11:13The, the, the reality is the world is much, much bigger than
- 11:17just the United States. I think we're all, and I'm
- 11:20guilty of it as well. We think everything is, you
- 11:23know, the United States know the world is changing like never
- 11:26before. And what was the big, big slap
- 11:30in the face for the United States?
- 11:32The massive slap in the face when the whatever he's called
- 11:36Prime Minister too many terms to remember.
- 11:39I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 11:40The president of India, Modi. Modi.
- 11:44Guys, he just went on a trip to Russia in like and, and, and
- 11:48signed some big agreements with Vladimir Putin, right?
- 11:53II I thought they were our ally. You know, remember, we were
- 11:58supposed to eliminate and isolate Russia.
- 12:02Well, why is President G and Putin always getting together?
- 12:05We got the president of India going over there and we got
- 12:08Putin traveling all over the world, right?
- 12:11This madman murderer, right, was what we're told.
- 12:15And everybody's embracing him. The world is changing.
- 12:18Look, I'm not pro con. I'm, I'm just pointing out the
- 12:22best we can as we look at all this, the objective facts of
- 12:27what's going on and it's darn scary.
- 12:29So now what's going on in Africa gold standard.
- 12:32So we got the, we got Yellen saying, well.
- 12:34We ripped the. Dollar might lose some of its
- 12:36status. Yeah, Janet.
- 12:37And she's confused, she says. We think it might be because
- 12:41we're putting sanctions on so many countries that they don't
- 12:44want to use the dollar. Yeah, that's.
- 12:46That would be why Miss Yellen, OK, you can come down here to
- 12:50the basement. We'll we'll explain it to you in
- 12:52very simple terms. You're also guys not going to
- 12:55believe I may be wrong. You can, I may make a huge flub,
- 12:59but I'm going to show you how I think right now.
- 13:01You can buy silver for 5% over spot.
- 13:04We're going to get to that in a second.
- 13:06But you got you got this massive change going on in the world and
- 13:10now we have Africa. These African countries that
- 13:13have been a lot of them pretty abused gold standard.
- 13:16Let's look at this very interesting developments out of
- 13:19Africa. Uganda.
- 13:21This is from mining.com. mining.com, Hold on here.
- 13:25Hopefully you guys can still hear me.
- 13:28Hopefully the live stream didn't end here.
- 13:30Oh no. Oh no, not again.
- 13:32Hello. Hello basement dwellers.
- 13:36Hello. Let me know if you.
- 13:38Can see me and hear me please we had a little flub up there so
- 13:42I'm going to keep going and kind of wonder why bars OK all right
- 13:46guys mining.com very interesting that's not right there we go
- 13:54Hello. Hello.
- 13:54OK mining.com. Uganda is latest African nation
- 14:00to eye gold as a currency shield.
- 14:04All right, let's read this. And then it gets it's gets crazy
- 14:07and then we're it gets crazy. Uganda.
- 14:10Uganda, they have. All the world's gold.
- 14:13We're going to talk about that in a second year, OK?
- 14:16Uganda plans domestic gold purchases to build foreign
- 14:19exchange reserves and limit risk on reserve investments, becoming
- 14:23the latest African nation to turn to the precious metals to
- 14:27back up their currency. Big things are going on in
- 14:31Africa, guys. You've got Burkina Faso and who
- 14:34are the other? Burkina Faso and two of the
- 14:36other countries that that have like, like are throwing the
- 14:41French out. Basically.
- 14:42The French apparently used to rule big parts of Africa,
- 14:46throwing out the French throughout the United States.
- 14:48We had a big drone base there as well, threw us out.
- 14:52And these countries are saying like, we want to rule ourselves.
- 14:55We're tired of being they claim they've been exploited.
- 14:59Again, I'm just, I'm just relaying the news, OK?
- 15:02The Bank of Uganda said it will directly purchase bullion from
- 15:05artisanal miners, in a move that will also support government
- 15:09efforts to support local miners and reduce raw imports of gold.
- 15:15Ugandans move echoes a proposal by Nigerian lawmakers.
- 15:20Now we got Nigeria. If there's too many, I don't.
- 15:22Know all the African countries? There's too many Nigerian
- 15:25lawmakers for the nations central bank to buy all locally
- 15:30produced gold to shore up reserves and fight inflation by
- 15:35all locally. Wait till you hear about that.
- 15:38That's Nigeria. We're going to go back to Uganda
- 15:41in a second guys. These countries are going on the
- 15:44gold standard Zimbabwe. We're going to talk about them a
- 15:47little bit too in April went a step further and launched a
- 15:50brand new zig currency. Do you remember that right?
- 15:54The. Basement to others who've been
- 15:56around for a while. We talked a lot.
- 15:58About the Zig short, short for Zimbabwe Gold, backed by 2.5
- 16:02tons of the precious metal in its latest attempt to deliver
- 16:07stable local unit. Ghana, Africa's second largest
- 16:11bullion producer, previously told big miners to sell 20% of
- 16:16what they refine to the Central Bank.
- 16:19Ghana, Zimbabwe, Uganda, who else?
- 16:24The list goes on and on. OK, I mean, it's like this is
- 16:27this is big stuff going on in Africa.
- 16:29Let's talk about incredible though.
- 16:32Remember this guys? Remember this was big news.
- 16:36What 2 summers? Ago Uganda claims to have like
- 16:41all the world like they discovered a gold deposit that's
- 16:44like equal. I think I made a video about it.
- 16:48I'll show you where it is here in a second.
- 16:49But equal to like all the gold that exists in the world right
- 16:53now, Uganda has a ton of gold. Let's go look at this from
- 16:59Reuters. And this was from two years ago.
- 17:01OK, June 8th, so almost exactly 2022.
- 17:05Uganda says exploration results show it shows it has 31.
- 17:11Million tons of gold ore, we're going to convert that into
- 17:15ounces of gold here in a second. Uganda on Wednesday said recent
- 17:19exploration surveys have shown it has gold ore deposits of
- 17:22about 31 million tons and wants to attract big investors to
- 17:27develop the sector. Hitherto.
- 17:29What the heck does hitherto mean?
- 17:31Hold on a second, it's time. For us to expand our vocabulary.
- 17:36Basement dwellers, hold on here. Hold on.
- 17:38I got. I'm sorry, I got to do this.
- 17:40What does hitherto mean? Hitherto Definition.
- 17:44Hitherto is an adverb. It means until now or until the
- 17:49point in time under discussion. OK.
- 17:53All right. Yeah.
- 17:54I'm not just going to say a word if I don't know what it means.
- 17:56OK. So they want to attract big
- 17:58investors to develop the sector up to now, which has been
- 18:03dominated hitherto by by small Wildcat miners.
- 18:07That's not what we're here for. We're here to hear about this
- 18:10unbelievable amount of gold, Muyita said.
- 18:15An estimated 320,000 tons wow of refined gold could be extracted
- 18:23from the 31 million tons of ore. Now, if my math is correct, in
- 18:27the United States we have 25. I'm sorry, 8. 1000 metric tons.
- 18:32India and their houses has 25,000 tons if that's the same
- 18:37measurement. That would be.
- 18:40Like 40 times the amount of gold that the United States has at
- 18:44Fort Knox in the ground in Africa.
- 18:47Now what's interesting, OK, is that who they're.
- 18:52Who are they going to work with? Who do you think they're going
- 18:54to work with to get all this gold out of the ground?
- 18:56Are they inviting American gold mining companies over Muyita and
- 19:01Waghaghi? A, said Wagaki.
- 19:03Wagaka, right there. Here, let me highlight that for
- 19:06you, 'cause this is important. Basement dwellers, OK, this is
- 19:11important and let's go up here, OK?
- 19:15Oh, shoot, I'm screwing everything up.
- 19:17Here we go. We're going to do that.
- 19:19It's important in red, Muyati said.
- 19:22Muyat Muyita Said Wagaki, a Chinese company, had set up a
- 19:27mine in Busaya in eastern Uganda, and was expected to
- 19:31start production this year. Wagagi had invested 200 million,
- 19:35he said. And it's mine will have a
- 19:37refining unit. They're working with the
- 19:40Chinese. So think about this for a
- 19:42second. Think about this guy's right.
- 19:45Uganda has more gold than anywhere in the world.
- 19:49Now. There was some suspicion.
- 19:50OK, I made a video about this two years ago.
- 19:53I'll show you that in one second quickly.
- 19:55But. They have 40 times they claim
- 19:58the amount of gold in the ground in Uganda that we have in the
- 20:01United States and Fort Knox. And think about this fact.
- 20:05Are they inviting Newmont in? Are they inviting Barrick?
- 20:09Are they inviting any Western or American gold mining company in?
- 20:16No, they're inviting in the Chinese, unfortunately,
- 20:21possibly. Let me know what you think about
- 20:23this. I'm just throwing it out there
- 20:26like it might be a possibility. Maybe, just maybe those African
- 20:31countries, based upon previous experiences with large western,
- 20:37what some people might call colonial powers aren't
- 20:41interested in working with big and, and maybe they trust, maybe
- 20:46they trust the Chinese more than us.
- 20:48I'm look, hey, I'm you're, you're, you're trustworthy.
- 20:51I know that about you basement dwellers, right?
- 20:54But I think like, don't we always think about this?
- 20:57Don't we always as Americans, when you ask the average
- 21:00American, what do you think about your politicians?
- 21:03What do you think about your senators and your congressmen
- 21:07and those guys? People are like they're scum.
- 21:09Balls. That's just the reality.
- 21:11That's what the. Congress has like what, the
- 21:13lowest rating in history? I think even our president, Joe
- 21:17Biden has like the lowest rating.
- 21:20All right, I'm just stating the facts.
- 21:22So we say these people are scum balls.
- 21:25Don't you think that maybe they do scummy things to other
- 21:27countries? Possibly.
- 21:28I'm just throwing it out there. Just throwing it out there.
- 21:32But it's always funny to me that then, like, when we, when these
- 21:34politicians make these big major decisions, like to go to war,
- 21:38all America's like, yeah. Yeah, you know, anyway, I
- 21:42digress. Uganda has all the world's gold
- 21:46now, and they're not working with the West.
- 21:49They're working with China, from what we can discern, to get that
- 21:52gold out of the ground. Do.
- 21:53You think China has an interesting gold No, the Chinese
- 21:58don't want any gold, do they basement while there's no What
- 22:01are you talking about Willis Gee whiz, does it all start to make
- 22:06a little bit of sense when you think about it from a big
- 22:08picture of the world is a vampire you probably remember
- 22:13that song but the world is also. Changing like never, ever, ever
- 22:18before. And it's happening right now,
- 22:20before our very eyes. And I'm telling you, do you do
- 22:25you see this? Can you see this that the world
- 22:28is moving back toward the gold standard and that the United
- 22:31States is going to be forced. It'll be kicking and screaming,
- 22:35right? This guy in here.
- 22:37Hey it it'll be you think the. Founding Fathers The founding
- 22:41fathers will stop rolling over in their graves when this
- 22:43happens. This.
- 22:44Guy, he's going to be having freak outs in here.
- 22:47He's not going to like it because it is happening right
- 22:50now as we're speaking right now. OK, right now.
- 22:56All right, hold on here. Let's talk about Zimbabwe
- 22:58briefly. Another Africa.
- 23:00Africa. And we just looked out our nose
- 23:03at Africa. You asked the average Joe on the
- 23:05street about Africa, and they think it's a country, for crying
- 23:08out loud, Right? Africa is massive.
- 23:11Let's talk about this. This is interesting.
- 23:14This is interesting. Hold on here, Zimbabwe.
- 23:18Zimbabwe Zig hits record low, which sounds bad, but it's not
- 23:22his interest rate. OK, here we go.
- 23:23Hold on here. What the heck is this ad on the
- 23:26bottom? Can I get rid of this thing?
- 23:28Well, orange is my favorite color.
- 23:30OK? Zimbabwe gold, also known as the
- 23:34Zig, performed impressively since it was introduced to the
- 23:38market in April. Of this.
- 23:41Year. So it's new, guys.
- 23:43I mean, heck, it's only what, three months old?
- 23:46OK, the US dollar zig exchange rate.
- 23:48OK, because Zimbabwe had hyperinflation.
- 23:51Let's put let's set the stage here.
- 23:53Zimbabwe had hyper hyperinflation.
- 23:56Remember, like Zimbabwe's the country where you can get like
- 23:58a. $8 trillion bill the the price of silver and gold.
- 24:03I used to have some charts, but I mean, it's like people, the
- 24:05only people who survived in Zimbabwe, guess who they were?
- 24:10They were the people that had their their their wealth stored,
- 24:13part or all. In precious metals, OK, they
- 24:17have hyper periods of crazy hyperinflation.
- 24:20Wow. Thank you, Jim.
- 24:22Man, wow, that raises my spirits.
- 24:25My spirits have been a little down lately.
- 24:27Guys, I'm human, you're human. But the love and support I get
- 24:31from you guys, it's always a nice little shot.
- 24:33So thank you very much now, but Zimbabwe?
- 24:37Big trouble. So what they do, they said oh,
- 24:39we're going to make a gold backed currency.
- 24:41We're going to go on the gold standard.
- 24:43I wonder if that'll work. And then all the big Western got
- 24:46people. And I think even at one point it
- 24:49was like a couple of years, they tried this one.
- 24:51The IMF was like, that's a ridiculous idea to try to back
- 24:55your currency with gold you need to buy.
- 24:57They had the nerve to say like you should just borrow money
- 25:02from the IMF or whoever. Western bankers, right?
- 25:07And the the leaders in Zimbabwe were like, we tried that a
- 25:11couple times and you basically dug us into a massive hole where
- 25:15we wound up with hyperinflation. So they said we're going to try
- 25:19to back our currency with. Gold.
- 25:21OK, all right. Here we go.
- 25:23I can, I'm sorry, I can. This is just fascinating
- 25:26subject. the US dollar Zig exchange rate moved from 13
- 25:31three to 1376, its highest point on record.
- 25:34This performance has made it relatively stable and has won
- 25:38praise. This is interesting from a team
- 25:41from the International Monetary Fund that visited the country.
- 25:45Recently so now the I'm at the same way to go guys.
- 25:48Great idea. You're you're solving your
- 25:51problem. It wasn't there a report out of
- 25:52the federal Philadelphia Federal Reserve just a few months ago.
- 25:56Where they said, uh oh, am I in trouble here?
- 25:59Nope. OK, I heard the basement door
- 26:01open. I thought Susie was going to
- 26:02tell me I was screwed something up.
- 26:04Anyway, the Philadelphia Fed came out and said that they did
- 26:10a study and they're like, you know what?
- 26:11The gold standard really works. Sorry, I got off on a tangent.
- 26:15Let's get back to our friends in Zimbabwe.
- 26:18This stability has happened because of the central bank's
- 26:20pledge not to intervene. Look at this.
- 26:24Look at this. Hold on, basement dwellers.
- 26:28All right, this deserves this. Every article.
- 26:30Every article deserves something highlighted in red.
- 26:33I am at all. Wow, of course.
- 26:34The this stability has happened because of the central bank's
- 26:39pledge not to intervene by printing more currencies.
- 26:44Oh my gosh, what? You mean you can keep a currency
- 26:49stable if you don't print it to oblivion?
- 26:52If you don't treat it like Unicorn fart dust?
- 26:55If you don't do what Gomer Powell did during the the C19
- 26:59crisis and print 40% of the US dollars that have ever been
- 27:04created, this is this is just incredible.
- 27:07These people in Zimbabwe are are are are geniuses.
- 27:11As it has done in the past, it also happened as the government
- 27:15intensified its crackdown on the parallel market.
- 27:18Blah blah blah OK oh this is interesting.
- 27:22Another reason for the stability is that the central bank has
- 27:25kept the zigs and again the zig is Zimbabwe gold.
- 27:27Gold backed currency supply low. As a result, many people in
- 27:32Zimbabwe have never seen a zig bank note.
- 27:35According to Bloomberg, many Zimbabweans have warned that the
- 27:39currency is only stable because it's unavailable.
- 27:42People in Zimbabwe are very skeptical.
- 27:45They've been burned so many times.
- 27:48What they're going to learn, I'm telling you what they're going
- 27:50to learn, is that a gold backed currency, if it maintains, if
- 27:54it, if it, if it is absolutely backed by gold.
- 27:58Will do wonders for their economy.
- 28:00It did wonders for the United States of America.
- 28:04I mean, have you guys heard that like the 180 or 150 years that
- 28:09we were on the gold standard in this country marked like an
- 28:13unprecedented period of technological and economic
- 28:17advancement? That the.
- 28:17World had never seen before. It worked really well.
- 28:22Until Nixon decided in 1971 to take us off the gold standard.
- 28:26I digress. However, analysts caution the
- 28:28currency faces risk ahead, of course.
- 28:31For one, it's a novel approach. This is funny.
- 28:36This is what the this this is what the analysts are warning.
- 28:41It's a novel approach that aims to stabilize the currency by
- 28:45backing it with 2.5 tons of gold and $100 million in cash.
- 28:50What a novel. It's a very novel approach
- 28:53that's only been used successfully for the last 5000
- 28:57years. Oh my gosh.
- 29:00OK, the central bank hopes to use the country's gold resources
- 29:03to back it up. This makes it a big experiment
- 29:05that could fail. No, it's not a big experiment.
- 29:08No, it won't fail. OK, how can they say this?
- 29:16How can they say it's a big experiment?
- 29:19It's been done hundreds of times for thousands of years.
- 29:23Gold and silver as real money. Work, you analyst goes.
- 29:29Zimbabwe, we're rooting for you, right?
- 29:31Real money. It's a way for average or
- 29:34working people in countries all over the world, right?
- 29:39To store the value of their work in a currency that doesn't get
- 29:43printed into oblivion. Go figure.
- 29:47Well, that doesn't work well for the big bankers.
- 29:50They don't like that. Don't trust.
- 29:52Don't trust big bankers. Basement dwellers are you?
- 29:55Do whatever you want. I'll never tell you exactly what
- 29:57to do, but don't, don't trust big, big bankers.
- 30:00OK? And just to prove to you, you
- 30:04want some proof, OK, I'll give you some proof.
- 30:07Bloomberg. Bloomberg did actually write an
- 30:11article about this. Here we are.
- 30:12And this was just the other day and I can't find the date on it
- 30:16though. Anyway, Bloomberg says the IMF
- 30:19says Zimbabwe's zig that's the Zimbabwe gold back currency has
- 30:25ended about of instability. The fund project fund projects
- 30:31inflation it's 7% on account of stability.
- 30:35Guys, they were having like 15 zillion percent inflation in
- 30:39Zimbabwe. This is because of the gold
- 30:41standard. This is because of backing a
- 30:43currency with gold, something that can't be printed silver
- 30:47something that can't be printed. Growth forecast revised to 2%
- 30:51and recovery, recovery seeing it gosh, it's funny how this works
- 30:55and there. Oh, there it is.
- 30:56Is that a zig? Yeah, Check that sucker out.
- 31:00Good as gold, baby. Don't screw it up, Zimbabwe.
- 31:03The Zig is the nation's sixth attempt.
- 31:06At a functioning local currency in the past 15 years, but as far
- 31:09as I know, the biggest now here, we're going to read this the
- 31:12best we can. Yes, it's hard to read because
- 31:14Bloomberg has a paywall. And I actually looked at doing
- 31:18it. It was like O2.
- 31:19Dollars a month. I'm like, that's worth it.
- 31:21Bloomberg's good. And then I clicked on it.
- 31:23It was like $35.00 a month. And as Susie will tell you, I
- 31:26have a problem with spending money.
- 31:29I'm a tight wad. That's why when I buy silver and
- 31:32gold eyes when I get the most metal for my money.
- 31:34We'll talk about that in a second 'cause we're going to
- 31:35talk about how right now if my. Math is correct, and it usually
- 31:40is. You can get silver for five.
- 31:42Percent over spot. None the less, the deal wound up
- 31:45being $35.00 a month. I'm like, that's an ounce of
- 31:48silver a month. And usually all the good stuff's
- 31:52in the first paragraph. And we can read the first
- 31:54paragraph here. I will read it for you.
- 31:56The International Monetary Fund says the introduction of a
- 31:59bullion backed currency. All right, the gold standard by
- 32:04Zimbabwe has helped to end instability of that had plagued
- 32:08the economy. I'll try to read this next part
- 32:12as it disappears into the paywall.
- 32:14The ZIG official exchange rate has so far remained stable,
- 32:18ending a bout of macroeconomic instability in the first three
- 32:22months of the year, the fund said in an emailed statement
- 32:25Wednesday. So the International Monetary
- 32:28Fund. Is saying OK, And that's even,
- 32:32according to Bloomberg. The gold standard's working.
- 32:35The silver standard's working. All right, let's.
- 32:37Talk about you buying silver for 5% over spot.
- 32:41Do you know what this is? Huh.
- 32:43That's silver. That came from Big Tim, the
- 32:46Silvershire, one of the basement dwellers.
- 32:48It's a dollar worth of silver, 1956 quarter, 1958 quarter and a
- 32:541963 Kennedy half dollar. It's hard for me to show this
- 32:58stuff to you and I have to be embarrassed 'cause I chew my
- 33:02fingernails. But anyway, this is silver.
- 33:04OK, 90% some people. Call it junk silver.
- 33:08I don't like. That term, some people call it
- 33:10constitutional because it's in the Constitution.
- 33:13Other people, I don't know what they call it.
- 33:15I call it real money, right? Listen, listen.
- 33:18OK, listen. All right, but let's go check.
- 33:21We're going to talk about can you buy this stuff for 5% over
- 33:25spot? OK, we're going to talk about
- 33:27that, but let's go out to let's do a check on this.
- 33:30So wow. 450 basement dwellers on a What is today?
- 33:36Monday morning, Monday morning. OK, here we are Channel sponsor
- 33:39Pendeks where you can buy silver, gold and platinum group
- 33:42metals and what I usually find to be the best prices, which
- 33:46means when your package shows up from Pinbex, you're getting more
- 33:51metal for your money. I call it the three M pledge
- 33:55more metal. Well, that's three MI think that
- 33:57name's taken anyway. More metal for your money at
- 34:00Pinbex. OK guys, do yourself a favor and
- 34:03check out Pinbex. But let's check.
- 34:05I'm going to press the magic Pinbex button.
- 34:08Last we checked, or before we came on, gold was up $3, silver
- 34:13was up a whopping 2 cents. Take your blood pressure
- 34:16medicine. Here we go and and.
- 34:20Did it refresh All right? Hey, Yabba dabba, huh?
- 34:24Gold's up $8.88. Eight is great.
- 34:28Silver is up eight cents. Today is the day of the Great
- 34:31Eights, by the way, if you want to say thank.
- 34:32You to our our moderators that that that are here this morning.
- 34:37I know I saw Jake, I know I saw Annie.
- 34:39Maybe Susie's on here. I don't know.
- 34:41I think I hear her rumbling around upstairs type. 888.
- 34:45In the comments and say thank you to the moderators.
- 34:47You know what I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and
- 34:50do it myself. There we go, 8 is great, and
- 34:54that's for the. Hey, thank you, Daniel.
- 34:56Thank you, Annie. Thank you.
- 34:57Great. Nate, man, everything's 8.
- 34:59Today. Oh, shoot, hold on.
- 35:04Sorry, guys. Yeah, I'm a one man band, you
- 35:07know, and I'm. I apologize.
- 35:09Mistakes are going to happen. This is live.
- 35:11I'm doing all of this on my own. And trust me, right?
- 35:16I have a hard enough time just just dealing with life on my
- 35:20own. So let's go back to Penn Beck's.
- 35:22OK, Wait a minute. Let's.
- 35:23Go back here. You want to hear?
- 35:24About can you buy I have to ask you a question.
- 35:27So I was watching Rafi, I think it was Rafi Farber video he does
- 35:31on Arcadia Economics every week last night and he was talking
- 35:34about he was showing the premiums on silver and I think
- 35:37it was the 90% silver. And he was like, premiums are
- 35:40they're low guys, but there's something and and we're going to
- 35:43talk about the remember, we're what we're talking about here is
- 35:47this junk silver, right? Here's a dollar's worth like I
- 35:51showed you earlier, a 50 Cent piece and two quarters and
- 35:55something interesting that that I think he said it or somebody
- 35:58else recently said it about about premiums on silver.
- 36:02Like that doesn't really affect the spot price that we pay, OK.
- 36:07The spot price that's determined by that free market, the COMEX
- 36:12and the OBMA, the London Million Market Association over in
- 36:16London, England, where there's been been people who've spent
- 36:19decades proving that those both those places completely
- 36:22manipulate the price of silver. But none the less, I digress.
- 36:26The premiums, they don't really affect the price of silver.
- 36:29The premiums really are more of a reflection of just supply and
- 36:33demand on the retail side. So premiums are really, really
- 36:37low right now. So I this morning I thought, can
- 36:40you really buy silver? I think the, the average was
- 36:43like 8-9 percent was the most recent data I saw.
- 36:47So I went, my local coin shop has a online like sheet where
- 36:51they say what they buy and sell for.
- 36:53And I did the math on, on this stuff, on junk silver and on
- 36:58constitutional silver. And it was like, I'm like, is
- 37:00that right? 5% over spot?
- 37:03Then I thought, I'm going to go to Pimbeck.
- 37:05So I'm going to walk you guys through this example.
- 37:08Some of you know how this works, some of you don't.
- 37:12And I could be making a big mistake.
- 37:13So some of you could call me out and say, Ron, you're wrong.
- 37:16But I thought, I wonder what Pimbeck's has and can you really
- 37:20get? So I went over here to silver
- 37:22and I went to silver US coinage 90%.
- 37:26So some people call it 90% silver, some people call it junk
- 37:30silver, some people call it constitutional silver.
- 37:33It's basically in, in the comments.
- 37:36Rip me apart if I get this wrong 'cause I'm not coin shop Chris.
- 37:39Coin shop Chris is the coin guru, OK, the coin shop guru.
- 37:43And by the way, he's got his own new channel, Coin Chop chris.com
- 37:47on YouTube. But none the less, I'm at pen
- 37:49backs right now, my gracious channel sponsor and I went to
- 37:53this silver and I went to silver US coinage and I thought, OK,
- 37:58I'm going to see what they got going on.
- 37:59So it's all pre 1960 four, 90% silver.
- 38:04All right. And I was just curious.
- 38:06I thought what's the biggest thing they got And it's down
- 38:08here 90% American silver coins, $100 worth, OK, $100 worth of
- 38:16Washington quarters. So these will be and correct me
- 38:20if I'm wrong guys, pre 1964 quarters they will be made 90%
- 38:27out of silver. OK, All right.
- 38:32So if we go, let me just go back to make this simple.
- 38:37So $100 worth of these hundred, that's FV stands for face value,
- 38:42400 quarters, OK, each $1.00 of face value of 90% silver.
- 38:50So each one dollar, 4 quart, you can either have four quarters,
- 38:5310 Dimes, you could have 5 Dimes and two quarters, you could have
- 38:57250 cent pieces you could have anyway, anything of this that
- 39:03adds up to $1.00, that's called $1.00 face value.
- 39:07Each one dollar has point 715 ounces of silver in it.
- 39:12So if you've got this, let me show you this again, for those
- 39:15of you that are new to this, if you've got this right, two
- 39:19quarters and a half dollar, I don't want to drop it.
- 39:23OK, that's that's a dollar. This is .715 ounces of silver,
- 39:29so a little under 3/4 of an ounce of silver.
- 39:32Now back to this example quickly Where'd it go?
- 39:38There it is. OK.
- 39:39So if you have $100, then you would have 71 1/2 ounces of
- 39:45silver, correct? Correct.
- 39:47OK. So if you buy this $100 face
- 39:51value bag of quarters and I'm not recommending you do
- 39:53anything, I'm just using this as an example about how low
- 39:57premiums are and premiums on this 90% silver were like
- 40:00through the roof like what, 14-15 months ago?
- 40:04I mean, through the roof nonetheless.
- 40:06You can't see this, but I have my calculator out right now,
- 40:09same one I use when I look at the US debt clock.
- 40:12If I multiply, OK, hold on here. If I multiply 71.5, 'cause
- 40:17that's how many ounces of silver you would get with this $100
- 40:21face value bag times the current silver price, which when we
- 40:26checked it now, it looks like it updated here.
- 40:27Now it's up $0.12. But if I multiply that times
- 40:3130.92, I would get in melt value $2211.00 worth of silver.
- 40:41Because again, all right, I'll say it one more time and correct
- 40:44me if I'm wrong guys, 'cause I'm, look, I'm human, right,
- 40:47$100 face value would be the equivalent of 71 1/2 ounces of
- 40:54silver. OK.
- 40:55And if I multiply that times the current spot price of $30.92, I
- 41:00get 2211 dollars. They're charging for that bag
- 41:05$2305.00. So if I subtract 2211 from 2
- 41:17three O 5 OK, I get $94.00. OK, That's the premium that I'm
- 41:24paying. And if I divide 94 by 2210, hold
- 41:32on here, I'll do 2211. That's like 4% four.
- 41:37It's point O 426. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you
- 41:42can buy it and, and it's, and it's, and look, there's other,
- 41:45I'm, I love pin backs 'cause I trust them and I know the man,
- 41:48they sponsor my channel and I've worked with them, blah, blah,
- 41:50blah. But there's other guys, the
- 41:52premiums on 90% silver are crazy low right now, man.
- 41:58And I really appreciate Rafi Farber on his Arcadia Economics.
- 42:03Video for pointing that out. And what does that tell us?
- 42:06What does that tell us about silver?
- 42:07And now let's talk about some exciting news with silver.
- 42:10There wouldn't be us basement dwellers getting together if we
- 42:14didn't talk about some crazy exciting news on the world of
- 42:17silver. That's crazy exciting, guys,
- 42:19because you know why? Because this all right, because
- 42:23of this, we got a silver price at almost $31.00 per oz, OK?
- 42:30And you know what that tells me? OK, we have a high, high silver
- 42:34price and we've got premiums. And what I would almost have to
- 42:38say are, are are are historic lows, which means nobody's
- 42:42buying silver in the West. When that changes, baby.
- 42:46All right, I'll say it every day.
- 42:48And when it happens, we will party, OK, and we will hold on.
- 42:52We will see that guy right there.
- 42:54Nobody talks about him anymore, right?
- 42:56He's got himself a little hot dog, an American flag, but he's
- 43:00blindfolded. That's the silver bear.
- 43:03That's when we start talking. If when the Western when
- 43:06premiums on this stuff. Right, if the premiums on this
- 43:10on this 90% silver were where they were a year and four months
- 43:15three months ago whenever they were sky high, guys, guess what?
- 43:18Guess what, Buttercup? Huh?
- 43:20You better buckle up because it'd be time to put boots on the
- 43:23warehouse floor, time to make some feathers fly.
- 43:28We did. Right now, the silver price
- 43:29would be 4445, and you know, when it gets up there, it's
- 43:33moving. So that's a big, big, big, big
- 43:36deal. So why is the silver price so
- 43:38high, Ron? You're probably asking, right?
- 43:41You want to know, want to know why the silver price is so high,
- 43:44right? You know why, right?
- 43:46You know You know why. Really.
- 43:50I'll tell you why because the eastern countries are gobbling
- 43:55it all up. I told you so many times.
- 43:58That loud, do you hear it? Do you hear it?
- 44:00Listen, hear that big vacuum sound?
- 44:03That is not Susie vacuuming upstairs.
- 44:05No, that's that's the Chinese and the Indians trying to suck
- 44:09all this silver. I don't have that much.
- 44:11I don't keep it here at the house.
- 44:12I got a little bit for fun 'cause I love the stuff.
- 44:15That's the Chinese and the Indians trying to take all your
- 44:18silver if you ever hear a loud vacuuming.
- 44:20Noise and you're able to determine that it's not your
- 44:24significant other running a vacuum in your house.
- 44:27Go lay on top of your silver 'cause that's that's a that's a
- 44:30giant hose from the eastern countries trying to take your
- 44:33silver. Look at this.
- 44:35Hold on. Did I get all this?
- 44:36I got. We got so much to talk about.
- 44:38Look at this. Look at this.
- 44:39Look at this. Look at this.
- 44:41This came from my friend Mark. Mark S Where is it?
- 44:46Here it is make sure we're alive.
- 44:49We are still alive. You know guys back about two
- 44:53years ago I was doing a live stream and I forget that I
- 44:56forgot to hit the go live button and I did like 1/2 hour live
- 44:59stream and about 1/2 hour into a coin shop.
- 45:02Chris texted me and saying when are you going live and I
- 45:05realized that it was I. Talked for 1/2 hour.
- 45:08And anyway, that was in the early days.
- 45:10Now I have a whole new, we have a whole new list of technical
- 45:13challenges you guys put up. But this says it all China July
- 45:1811th all we need to go check on the Chinese silver price too
- 45:21Anyway, China building sit down for this China building more
- 45:27wind solar capacity than the rest of the world combined.
- 45:32But. Wait, there's more?
- 45:33There's more, of course. Oh my God, look at this.
- 45:36Solar panels. Can I click on that?
- 45:40Oh my gosh. Look at that guys.
- 45:42Those aren't. I got news for you basement
- 45:44dwellers. Those aren't solar panels, OK?
- 45:47No, each one of those, and I'd say there's millions each one of
- 45:52those is probably somewhere between 2/3 of an ounce and an
- 45:56ounce and a third. Those are all little silver
- 45:58bars. And guess what?
- 46:00They might as well be thrown away.
- 46:02They might as well be destroyed cause in best case scenario,
- 46:05they're not the silver that look at those millions of solar
- 46:09panels. And that's just one guys.
- 46:12They're building China, India. They're building solar farms the
- 46:16size of Paris. They've already built solar
- 46:20farms bigger than Saint Louis. And if you've ever been to Saint
- 46:23Louis, it's a thriving metropolitan city, right?
- 46:28Anyway, they're building solar farms bigger than New York City.
- 46:33I mean, they're building and get, don't get it through your,
- 46:36my mom used to say this to me. Did your mom ever say this to
- 46:39you? She'd say, get it through your
- 46:40thick skull. Get this through your thick
- 46:42skull. Basement dwellers.
- 46:44Each one of those little things, those little black dots on the
- 46:46screen, those represent an ounce of silver, and they aren't going
- 46:51anywhere. I digress.
- 46:54OK, China is building almost twice.
- 46:58But wait, there's more. As much wind and solar energy
- 47:01capacity as every other country. Hold on.
- 47:07There's the C word combined, combined, Combined, China is
- 47:14building almost twice as much as every other country in the world
- 47:21combined. Not twice as much as the United
- 47:23States. Not the twice as much as Canada.
- 47:26Not twice as much as India. No twice as much as everybody
- 47:31combined. I wonder what the silver price
- 47:33is in China right now. I'm just curious maybe, maybe
- 47:36we'll go on a little field trip, go see our friend Oriental Ghost
- 47:40in a few minutes. But I want to read these three
- 47:42paragraphs that are highlighted in yellow for your
- 47:46entertainment. China currently has a total of
- 47:49331 gigawatts. OK, guys, look at this.
- 47:52This we gotta, we gotta talk about something.
- 47:56I forgot where it is, but there's this thing out there
- 47:59that shows what the equivalent of A1 GW of power is.
- 48:03This is kind of like talking about the US national debt at 35
- 48:06trillion. Like one trillion is 1,000,000 *
- 48:091,000,001 GW, I think was equal to like 1.3 million horses.
- 48:14It's a lot of power, baby. Right.
- 48:17OK, Anyway, they have almost, we're going to say 340 gigawatts
- 48:21because this article was written on the 11th and it's been four
- 48:23days, so I'm sure they turned on some more of capacity, oh, under
- 48:27construction. So including 159 gigawatts of
- 48:31wind and 180 gigawatts of. Solar that is nearly quote twice
- 48:35as much as the rest of the world combined, according to the study
- 48:38by the global Energy Monitor. AUS based.
- 48:42This is AUS based. OK, so you know.
- 48:44It's true. If they're bragging about China,
- 48:47the figure far exceeds the second ranked nation, the
- 48:50United. States of America, which is
- 48:54building a total of just 40 gigawatts, OK, So China's
- 49:00building 10 times as much renewable energy capacity as we
- 49:05are. Are you seeing a trend?
- 49:07Do you see what's going on in the world?
- 49:10Do you wonder Like I wonder why? Guys, I'm a say it one more
- 49:16time, one more time. We can rejoice at $31.00 silver.
- 49:23Rejoice. It's a big deal and it's a.
- 49:26Bigger. Deal, stay with me that you and
- 49:29your fellow Americans, except for those people from Costco and
- 49:33the real smart, the real smart people that buy their silver pin
- 49:36backs. But anyway, besides us, ain't
- 49:39nobody buying silver. I hear some people, I'm hearing
- 49:42reports. Have you heard this?
- 49:44And people are actually selling their silver, right?
- 49:47I think Coin Shop Chris did a video about somebody selling
- 49:49silver for a boat or he's got a video coming out.
- 49:52I don't know, right? Americans, I mean, 78% of your
- 49:57fellow Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, OK, right.
- 50:02They're slaves. And it's kind of like slavery,
- 50:05isn't it? If you're living paycheck to
- 50:06paycheck and you got a bunch of debt, you're not living life.
- 50:10You're working right? So anyway, I digress.
- 50:13Not a not a thing about America. Big big big big big demand for
- 50:18silver coming out of China. Let's go over to China though.
- 50:22Here's the video I did. Oh God, that was from a long
- 50:25time ago. Uganda finds all the gold left
- 50:28in the world. That was from it was a really a
- 50:31good performer. It was one of my 32,000 views a
- 50:34couple years ago. That was from, let's see here,
- 50:39July 26th. All right, where I talk about
- 50:42the details, right, the details. There's Tim Zoob, regular
- 50:47basement dweller. What were we gonna do?
- 50:49Oh, yeah, hold on here, guys. We're.
- 50:51Back. And now we're gonna go.
- 50:53We're gonna go see what happened in China overnight, just for
- 50:56fun, huh? Does this make sense?
- 51:02And let's see here there's. Peter Grandich.
- 51:08Our friend. Oh, I made a great video.
- 51:09I'll talk about Peter in a second.
- 51:11Hold on here, Peter Grandich. All right, hold on.
- 51:16I'm staying on track. OK, here's China's overnight
- 51:19data from the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
- 51:23Silver closed at 3450 on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
- 51:26Closed at 3446. Where are we again?
- 51:31We are I I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it.
- 51:34OK, but I'll do. We're gonna press the magic
- 51:36Pendex button and get an update. Take your blood pressure
- 51:39medicine. And all right, silver's up
- 51:43$0.25, good, awesome gold $22,433.
- 51:50What what guys, we are, we're knock, knock, knocking on a new
- 51:55high. And I mean in in gold silver,
- 51:58baby. Oh my gosh, this is awesome.
- 52:02Unbelievable. OK, let's go back.
- 52:06Let's go back. Hold on here, how do I go back?
- 52:08Let's go back and look at this. This guy, Peter Grandich, I did
- 52:13an interview with him yesterday afternoon, just kind of talking
- 52:16about what's going on. Let me remind you something
- 52:18about Peter Grandich. Couple things #1 he was like one
- 52:23of the only people that called the 1987, and a lot of you are
- 52:26as old as me. I was 17, I was heading off to
- 52:29college. I remember the 1987 stock market
- 52:32crash. OK, he called it OK.
- 52:35They he he's been on CNBC, he's been on Good Morning America,
- 52:39he's been interviewed by every major news network in the world.
- 52:44This guy has a track record. Is he perfect?
- 52:46No, nobody's perfect, but I'm going to tell you right now,
- 52:49he's very smart, very insightful, and I'm he for some
- 52:54reason. I'm very fortunate because Peter
- 52:56and I have developed a good friendship.
- 52:58And he loves gold and he loves silver now too.
- 53:01OK, hold on a second here. Hold on.
- 53:03Big breaking news. Peter, he, Peter Granite will
- 53:08say this. It's pretty funny.
- 53:11He said the silver people used to hate him because he would go
- 53:14to the gold or go to these conventions and he would say.
- 53:18Silver's kind of like kissing your sister.
- 53:22But now, But now he loves Silver and he's rooting for Silver.
- 53:26He was talking about, he was talking about this guy, right?
- 53:30That it can happen. The $85 silver bear.
- 53:33He loves the $2500 gold bear. We know that's going to happen.
- 53:36By the way. Thank you First Mining Gold and
- 53:39thank you Fortuna Mining, First Mining Gold, being a gold
- 53:43development company with two multimillionaire projects in
- 53:46Canada, Canada, I like to say Canada, I don't know why.
- 53:49Hope that doesn't offend anyone. And Fortuna Mining, who's an
- 53:53operating miner with operations in Latin America, I really want
- 53:57to go to Peru. I got to be honest with you, I
- 53:59don't know why I'm obsessed with going to Peru and I want to go
- 54:02to see silver mines in Peru. Anyway, that's besides the
- 54:05point. They do have a mine in Peru and
- 54:07Mexico and Argentina, but they also have big gold mining
- 54:10operations in West Africa. So thank you to all those.
- 54:13Now Peter Grandich has become very bullish on silver as well.
- 54:20Yeah, and he's honest. I mean, you know, he's been.
- 54:23In and out of the precious metals over the years, he's been
- 54:26very bullish on gold. He's big into the junior mining
- 54:29stocks, right? And that's where it's all am I
- 54:32as well. But now he's become very, very
- 54:35bullish on silver as well. But he's also been able to he's
- 54:39had some unbelievably great predictions over the years and
- 54:43he actually made predicted pretty much what was going to
- 54:48happen during some previous interviews I had with him
- 54:50regarding the upcoming election and and whether these two
- 54:54candidates would be in the So it's an interview worth
- 54:58watching. Peter's a great guy and has some
- 55:02great, great, great insights. So all right, guys, that's it
- 55:05for today. Thank you for being here.
- 55:07OK, Don't forget, please support our sponsors pin back first
- 55:11mining gold and Fortuna mining. Have a great day and I'll see
- 55:14you soon. Thank you.
