- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, guys. My name is Mr. Marcus White. And I
- 0:04Speaker 1: am da-da-da-David. And we're your hosts for the comment section.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We're back.
- 0:12Speaker 1: You know what, David? You know what, Daveed? I am
- 0:26Speaker 1: so happy that we're back at doing this show. I
- 0:30Speaker 1: really enjoyed really reading the comments of everyone who listened
- 0:36Speaker 1: to last week's episode, which was our first episode of
- 0:39Speaker 1: this new season. And, you know, we took a two-month break,
- 0:43Speaker 1: so I forgot how much fun it is to read
- 0:45Speaker 1: the comments and engage with the fans. Oh, by the way,
- 0:49Speaker 1: for those who are watching, I'm not at home. I
- 0:52Speaker 1: am at my grandmother's house right now. So, oh, I
- 0:55Speaker 1: forgot to mention this to you too, Daveed, and to
- 0:57Speaker 1: the listeners as well. Crap. I don't know how I
- 0:59Speaker 1: forgot to mention this. We're visual now. We are a
- 1:03Speaker 1: visual podcast. So Spotify has an option to where, oh,
- 1:08Speaker 1: Daveed is closing his door behind him.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Because I don't know who may come over.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Oh, we have company. We
- 1:15Speaker 1: have company today. Oh, okay. So, you know, we're visual.
- 1:20Speaker 1: We're visual. So on Spotify has an option where we can,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you can either watch us or listen to us. So
- 1:26Speaker 1: if you decide to listen to us and let's say,
- 1:29Speaker 1: I just mentioned how Daveed closed his door and now
- 1:32Speaker 1: you want to see Daveed closing his door. There's an
- 1:34Speaker 1: option on the Spotify app where you get to switch
- 1:36Speaker 1: right over to visual at the same time, time mark,
- 1:38Speaker 1: which is kind of cool to me. So it is cool. Apple,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I mean, I thought I submitted it the same for
- 1:44Speaker 1: Apple as well, but I don't know why Apple is
- 1:47Speaker 1: having that difficulty because, But, yeah, you can watch or
- 1:50Speaker 1: listen to us on Spotify. So we are a visual
- 1:52Speaker 1: podcast again. So, yeah, I am at my grandmother's house
- 1:56Speaker 1: right now. So that's why my background is different. So
- 1:59Speaker 1: I will be on my best behavior and I will
- 2:01Speaker 1: have to watch my verbiage because, you know, such language
- 2:04Speaker 1: is not allowed in this household. And I will respect
- 2:07Speaker 1: her household. Yeah. Yeah, it's fine. AirPods, honey. Can't hear.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Can't hear you. So got that covered. You think I'm
- 2:16Speaker 1: new to this? No, never. I'm true to it. Can't
- 2:18Speaker 1: hear you. Yeah. So, yeah, I enjoyed our first episode.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And I listen to each podcast because I always like
- 2:30Speaker 1: to give myself criticism. And I like to give myself
- 2:33Speaker 1: notes on things I should work on. You know, I
- 2:37Speaker 1: hate the fact that I talk too fast. And sometimes
- 2:40Speaker 1: my words don't come out clearly as I want them to.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And I mush words together. So I have to work
- 2:45Speaker 1: on pacing myself. And making sure I'm enunciating each word
- 2:49Speaker 1: thoroughly so people can understand what I'm saying. Are you
- 2:53Speaker 1: listening to me? You're looking up. See, people now can
- 2:55Speaker 1: watch you ignore me while I'm talking to you. Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but you shouldn't say anything because they wouldn't even... You
- 3:00Speaker 1: shouldn't say anything. They wouldn't even.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Now they're going to tune into that part like, oh,
- 3:03Speaker 2: he is ignoring me.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Good. Utilize the visual part. Utilize the visual. I want
- 3:08Speaker 1: them to utilize the visual. All right. It takes a
- 3:10Speaker 1: long time to upload. So please click that button. But no,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I do give myself critiques. And... You know, I was
- 3:17Speaker 1: telling you earlier, we, for the audience who may not know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: or for everyone who doesn't know, probably, you and I
- 3:24Speaker 1: actually go through the topics before we record. And I
- 3:29Speaker 1: call them rehearsals, even though we're not rehearsing. But I
- 3:32Speaker 1: like to talk to you about each topic to give
- 3:35Speaker 1: you a context. Because you're new to the Housewife universe,
- 3:38Speaker 1: all right? You don't know these women as much as
- 3:40Speaker 1: I do. So I like to inform you as much
- 3:41Speaker 1: as possible. Why you always got to tell everybody that
- 3:43Speaker 1: all the time? You're new to it. Kids today, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you're new. Well, because when you say you don't know
- 3:49Speaker 1: this person or don't know this person, it's still, I
- 3:52Speaker 1: like to remind people that you're new because there's some
- 3:54Speaker 1: new listeners. We always get new listeners each episode. So
- 3:57Speaker 1: I like to just reiterate that you are, and there's
- 3:59Speaker 1: nothing wrong with being new. You know, you joined this
- 4:01Speaker 1: podcast last season. You're enjoying the Housewife universe. But no,
- 4:06Speaker 1: so we go over the topics each episode. We go
- 4:09Speaker 1: over the topics before we record. But what you and
- 4:11Speaker 1: I do, though, is when we are in our rehearsals,
- 4:15Speaker 1: we do go into detail of whatever we're talking about.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And then we have to stop ourselves because we're like, no,
- 4:21Speaker 1: save it for the show. Save it for the show.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? And sometimes we need, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: or not sometimes. Last week, I feel like I didn't
- 4:29Speaker 1: say some things that I should have said during the
- 4:32Speaker 1: episode because I got caught back. I got a lot
- 4:34Speaker 1: of backlash on last week's podcast because I wasn't making sense.
- 4:38Speaker 1: You thought I didn't make sense, but I like to
- 4:41Speaker 1: really communicate things to our listeners through this podcast. So
- 4:45Speaker 1: either I could just talk to you through my Mr.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Housewives blog page, or I can talk to you through
- 4:50Speaker 1: this podcast. You know, I'm talking about the Salt Lake City.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know, I didn't really explain myself why I thought
- 4:56Speaker 1: that this season of Salt Lake City is not as
- 4:59Speaker 1: entertaining as Salt Lake City used to be to me.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Tell us, tell us. You really should go back and
- 5:06Speaker 1: watch season one through season, just watch from season one
- 5:10Speaker 1: and catch up to now. Because the early seasons, were
- 5:13Speaker 1: so much lighter and so much fun to watch where
- 5:16Speaker 1: these group of women, they had their scandals, they had
- 5:19Speaker 1: their drama, but they actually got along and had fun
- 5:22Speaker 1: with each other. Whereas now, I feel like they can't
- 5:26Speaker 1: stand each other. They just right up hate each other.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And if I'm watching people who just hate each other,
- 5:30Speaker 1: that's not fun to watch really because I feel like
- 5:33Speaker 1: they're just picking on each other over the smallest things.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Like in last week's episode of Salt Lake City, Lisa
- 5:39Speaker 1: Barlow was putting on lipstick And Angie was like, why
- 5:42Speaker 1: do you keep putting on lipstick? You put lipstick on
- 5:44Speaker 1: five times already in the past 10 minutes. That's annoying.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And then they start going back and forth about the
- 5:48Speaker 1: lipstick thing. Like, what is happening here? Like, what is happening?
- 5:52Speaker 1: You know, that's not fun to watch. Also, because the
- 5:57Speaker 1: earlier seasons were really good and a lot of drama
- 6:00Speaker 1: had happened, especially with Jen Shaw, who was arrested on camera.
- 6:04Speaker 1: especially with Mary Cosby, who was facing rumors about being
- 6:09Speaker 1: a cult and being a cult leader, and then Meredith
- 6:12Speaker 1: allegedly cheating on her husband. They had drama like that,
- 6:15Speaker 1: but their reactions were really authentic. I think that these
- 6:19Speaker 1: women are now being performative. They are now... It's not genuine.
- 6:26Speaker 1: It's not authentic at all. Like, when I watched The
- 6:29Speaker 1: Golden Life on Tuesday night, their argument seems authentic. Their
- 6:33Speaker 1: drama seems authentic. Salt Lake City women now, they're doing
- 6:36Speaker 1: it because the fans liked those antics seasons ago. And
- 6:41Speaker 1: now they feel like, oh, now we have to go
- 6:43Speaker 1: above and beyond when we argue. Now we have to
- 6:45Speaker 1: find any little thing to argue because the fans will
- 6:48Speaker 1: love that. They love us arguing. So when you argue,
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's coming off very, very disingenuous. And it's coming off
- 6:53Speaker 1: as you're acting and you're an actress. And most people
- 6:57Speaker 1: think that reality television is scripted television. Some things are
- 7:01Speaker 1: enhanced television. But a lot of it is really natural.
- 7:04Speaker 1: That's what makes a Real Housewives franchise different than other
- 7:06Speaker 1: reality shows. Because the producers try to get the women
- 7:10Speaker 1: to be authentic as possible. That's the reason why I'm
- 7:14Speaker 1: saying that this season isn't entertaining. Because they're all acting.
- 7:17Speaker 1: They're all being un-authentic. And they're all... It's just performative.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm going to use that word for this season of
- 7:23Speaker 1: Salt Lake City. Very performative. Are you going to be
- 7:25Speaker 1: able to get that two minutes and 55 seconds?
- 7:29Speaker 2: No. So....
- 7:32Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I don't know if I'm going to
- 7:33Speaker 1: actually post a soundbite on my page. I just want
- 7:36Speaker 1: to clear it up for the listeners. You know, I
- 7:39Speaker 1: post those clips to bring you in and hopefully those
- 7:42Speaker 1: people will stay locked in our podcast and listen to
- 7:44Speaker 1: it every week. This is just for the listeners. And
- 7:47Speaker 1: this is just for my clarification. Just like how you
- 7:49Speaker 1: last season had called Phaedra the B word and you
- 7:52Speaker 1: cleared it up the next episode. I didn't post that
- 7:54Speaker 1: apology as a soundbite, you know. People have to lock in.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Did I clear it up? You did. You did clear
- 8:00Speaker 1: it up. You sure did. Yeah, you did. Did your
- 8:02Speaker 1: brain really go back and say, did he have to
- 8:05Speaker 1: clear something?
- 8:05Speaker 2: Because I remember stuff like that.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I remember stuff like that. You didn't like that reaction
- 8:12Speaker 1: that you got from the fans. You did not because
- 8:14Speaker 1: they went in on you. They went in for you
- 8:16Speaker 1: calling her the B word. And you see how I
- 8:18Speaker 1: had to say the B word? Because you know what
- 8:19Speaker 1: house I'm in. So the B word. Grandma. Oh, this
- 8:26Speaker 1: stupid palace. I said, Grandma, get up. It's Nana.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Nana.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I call her Nana. That's my Nana. My Nana. I'm
- 8:33Speaker 1: appreciative for her opening her doors in this time of need.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You know, I had to come over here last minute.
- 8:38Speaker 1: And yeah, so. You know, Daveed, like I mentioned before,
- 8:43Speaker 1: this is probably my hundredth time saying it, you're new
- 8:45Speaker 1: to the Housewives, so you don't know the real Housewives
- 8:48Speaker 1: of New Jersey. Or do you know the real Housewives
- 8:50Speaker 1: of New Jersey? No. I just know they got rid
- 8:54Speaker 1: of a lot of folks. No, I know they got
- 8:56Speaker 1: rid of a lot of folks.
- 8:57Speaker 2: And who the main character? She's on everything. Teresa Giudice.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I know her. You know, this show is pretty much staple.
- 9:08Speaker 1: This is her show. She's a staple character. they formulated
- 9:12Speaker 1: pretty much the entire series around her after season two.
- 9:16Speaker 1: And it became The Teresa Show. And to me, that
- 9:19Speaker 1: was the downfall of this series. It became The Teresa Show.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Because sometimes, some cast members, everyone has an expiration date.
- 9:28Speaker 1: And I believe that Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores, those are
- 9:32Speaker 1: three who they brought back, they all had an expiration
- 9:34Speaker 1: date and they didn't need to come back. U.S. Weekly Magazine,
- 9:38Speaker 1: they actually released a season 15 kind of tease. They
- 9:43Speaker 1: revealed the new cast members for the Royal Housewives of
- 9:47Speaker 1: New Jersey and David. I was expecting two to three women.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Why is it six new cast members? Six. Six new
- 9:55Speaker 1: cast members. A nine cast show. Nine woman cast show.
- 10:00Speaker 1: That's a lot of characters, right, David? That's a big-ass picture.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And you see the car they have was like some
- 10:05Speaker 2: kind of 1970s long-ass car.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Almost like a damn limo so they all can fit
- 10:09Speaker 1: in that picture. Oh, that's a good point. That picture
- 10:11Speaker 1: was very sloppy. Very AI. Dolores Katana. They had her
- 10:16Speaker 1: actually morphing into the car. all right, morphine into the car.
- 10:19Speaker 1: It was a really sloppy picture. Don't get me started
- 10:21Speaker 1: on that. But there's 60 women. If you go to
- 10:25Speaker 1: my Mr. Housewives page, I'm going to go in the
- 10:28Speaker 1: order that is on my post of the women. So
- 10:31Speaker 1: everyone can actually like, you know, visually look as I
- 10:33Speaker 1: talk about these women. The first woman, her name is XIO.
- 10:37Speaker 1: How do you pronounce that name, Daveed? X-I-O. X-I-O. X-I-O,
- 10:44Speaker 1: that's her name. Is it a Z? Zion? Zion? X-I-O. Zoe. Zoe? Zoe. Zoe. Zoo. Zoo.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'll call her Zoo. Zoo? Okay.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Zoo.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Let's call her Zoo. There's Zoo, her sister Juliet, then Natalia, Mavina, Diba,
- 11:07Speaker 1: and Vanessa. Vanessa's the friend of. Those are the six
- 11:09Speaker 1: women that's joining the show. Now, you don't know this.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Real Housewives of New Jersey, they got put on pause
- 11:15Speaker 1: two years ago. because fans are just tired of the
- 11:18Speaker 1: Melissa and Teresa feud. So they were supposed to revamp
- 11:23Speaker 1: this show. And this is the revamped cast, all right?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Like I mentioned, they brought back Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And I really thought that... Remember when you and I
- 11:32Speaker 1: talked about the alleged cast six months ago? DJ's Envy's
- 11:36Speaker 1: wife was supposed to be part of that cast. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: thought she was going to be there. I did too.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I thought she was going to be there. Child, I
- 11:42Speaker 1: guess I lied, all right? That cast that we talked
- 11:44Speaker 1: about months ago... gotcha gotcha all right that's why y'all
- 11:48Speaker 1: shouldn't be listening to me because i just like to
- 11:50Speaker 1: gossip you know i'm a gossiper what can i say
- 11:53Speaker 1: um so i was inspecting all six women i really
- 11:57Speaker 1: was expecting two to three new women now since you're
- 12:00Speaker 1: new to the housewives franchise you're currently watching a lot
- 12:03Speaker 1: of these housewives shows yeah as a new watcher do
- 12:07Speaker 1: you like it when there is a Do you like
- 12:10Speaker 1: it when it's a large cast or do you, I
- 12:12Speaker 1: don't know if you even watch a show with a
- 12:14Speaker 1: smaller cast, but how do you feel about watching such
- 12:16Speaker 1: a large cast now? I think sometimes it can just
- 12:21Speaker 1: be overwhelming. Thank you.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Because it's just so many different things going on at
- 12:28Speaker 2: the same time. And it's hard to like, And when
- 12:30Speaker 2: there's so many different storylines and so many different people,
- 12:33Speaker 2: I think it's hard to, like, formulate a really good theme.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It's hard to formulate bringing everything together. Like, I think
- 12:42Speaker 2: six is, like, a good number.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That's a great number. If I can say a good number,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I think six is a good number. But nine, damn.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Like, you and me about to start a damn football team. Because,
- 12:51Speaker 2: you know, football team take 11. So I think that
- 12:53Speaker 2: it just seems like a lot for now.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And that's what it's given off. It's given sports. It's
- 12:57Speaker 1: given WrestleMania. It's given gladiators. Because, you know, if it
- 13:02Speaker 1: was up to Andy, he would allow these women to
- 13:04Speaker 1: bring guns and shoot each other. You know, he likes
- 13:06Speaker 1: to see all the chaos pour out on TV, you know.
- 13:08Speaker 1: But six to seven women is the appropriate number. You
- 13:12Speaker 1: know what? I say this all the time. Well, maybe
- 13:14Speaker 1: not on the podcast, but when I'm dating, I like
- 13:17Speaker 1: my men, you know, they're monsters ink. I like that
- 13:20Speaker 1: size to be six to seven inches. it's after you
- 13:23Speaker 1: get seven, it's too many. It's too much. So just like, Oh, Oh, Oh,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I forgot. I forgot. Oh my God. I lost her.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I forgot where I was. I forgot where I was. Oh, Oh,
- 13:32Speaker 1: Oh Lord, Jesus Christ. And I'm talking so loud. Oh
- 13:35Speaker 1: my God. What if she's listening? Oh my God. I forgot.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Thanks for the reminder. Oh, I got you. Thank you.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Thank you. For once. For once. Um, Yeah, I just
- 13:51Speaker 1: feel like it's just too many women. Six new women
- 13:53Speaker 1: is just ridiculous. I think that if you wanted to
- 13:56Speaker 1: revamp the show and have that many women, you shouldn't
- 13:58Speaker 1: have brought back Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores. You should just
- 14:01Speaker 1: have these six women. Like how we had the Real
- 14:03Speaker 1: Housewives of Rhode Island, you know, start a whole new
- 14:08Speaker 1: group of women. Like New York City, start with a
- 14:10Speaker 1: whole new group of women. Nine is just too much.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Nine is just too much for me. Yeah, nine is
- 14:14Speaker 1: a lot. But I think these Housewives fans, I think
- 14:17Speaker 1: that they like them more. I think the more women...
- 14:20Speaker 1: they think the better the arguments and the better the fighting.
- 14:23Speaker 1: And people, let's stop really looking forward to the fights
- 14:27Speaker 1: amongst the women. What I really grew up or what
- 14:31Speaker 1: I really loved about the housewives 15 years ago is
- 14:34Speaker 1: that we actually saw their family drama with their husbands
- 14:38Speaker 1: or with their kids, with their aunts, their cousins, their neighbors.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The women really didn't fight with each other. We saw
- 14:44Speaker 1: them really bicker with their spouse or with their kids.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Kids were getting arrested. Kids were getting kicked out of
- 14:50Speaker 1: their homes because they were just being disrespectful. And this
- 14:53Speaker 1: was being played out on Atlanta and Jersey and Orange County.
- 14:57Speaker 1: We faded away from that. And now, like I said, too,
- 14:59Speaker 1: when I said, and if it was up to Andy Cohen,
- 15:01Speaker 1: he would give these women guns. I felt like he
- 15:04Speaker 1: makes these women fight with each other. I really do.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And I just like, like Salt Lake City. I'm gonna
- 15:09Speaker 1: go back to Salt Lake City. They just fight with
- 15:10Speaker 1: each other over the dumbest reasons. Over the most stupidest, ridiculous.
- 15:12Speaker 1: The lipstick was a little, that's dumb. The lipstick is
- 15:14Speaker 1: a dumb shit. So dumb. Or with, um, I'm trying
- 15:19Speaker 1: to think of other examples of Salt Lake City. They
- 15:21Speaker 1: just argue too much, you know? And I just think
- 15:23Speaker 1: that because those fights do go viral. You see the
- 15:29Speaker 1: clips on social media, you know, because someone always saying
- 15:32Speaker 1: something funny during an argument or sometimes people, there's always
- 15:35Speaker 1: something dramatic. And yes, they go viral, but everything doesn't
- 15:40Speaker 1: have to equal to a fight or yelling or throwing
- 15:45Speaker 1: massive shade, you know? Well, the show is like constantly.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Like it turns to I think it's sometimes like how
- 15:56Speaker 2: low how low can you go?
- 15:59Speaker 1: And I know I didn't get a chance to talk
- 16:01Speaker 1: to you about this earlier, but I was going.
- 16:02Speaker 2: To say when we move on to when we touch
- 16:06Speaker 2: a little bit about Potomac, that was something that I
- 16:09Speaker 2: want to talk about, about the level of like lowness.
- 16:13Speaker 1: But I'll let you finish your point. No, we can.
- 16:16Speaker 1: We're moving on. Jersey Housewives. We just weekly just uploaded
- 16:20Speaker 1: the cast photos for each cast member. There's no trailer yet.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It's most likely going to be released this weekend. And
- 16:25Speaker 1: there's no release date for season 15. The only thing
- 16:28Speaker 1: they said it was that is going to premiere this December. So, yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 1: we'll talk about New Jersey Housewives when the trailer drops
- 16:36Speaker 1: and we'll give our commentary on what we think about
- 16:38Speaker 1: the new season whenever that trailer drops. So, yeah, let's
- 16:41Speaker 1: go to Potomac. What happened on Potomac? What's going on, Potomac?
- 16:44Speaker 1: I forgot. Remind me.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So, there was a couple different things that was taking
- 16:49Speaker 2: place in Potomac.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Of course, we're finishing up the... We're still finishing up
- 16:57Speaker 1: the backlash of Wendy's situation. Oh, Bonnie and Clyde. Yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: what she's dealing with. And... But... Not to, like, recast
- 17:07Speaker 1: the whole... episodes or not, you know, we don't do that. No,
- 17:10Speaker 1: we don't. I don't got time. But one thing that I.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Did want to talk about is I think relationships with mothers. Oh.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Like last season, how Wendy and her mom got into it.
- 17:24Speaker 2: She told her, shut the F up and stuff like
- 17:25Speaker 2: that when they got into it and how like they
- 17:29Speaker 2: were really, really at odds. This particular season, specifically this episode,
- 17:35Speaker 2: seeing the mom have her back and genuinely caring about
- 17:41Speaker 2: her daughter really spoke volumes to me. And it made
- 17:45Speaker 2: me think about like how my mother during tough times,
- 17:51Speaker 2: crazy times, how she's there. Or not just moms, but
- 17:53Speaker 2: when family comes there. Because it's different with friends, right?
- 17:57Speaker 2: And I guess I want to ask you this question,
- 17:59Speaker 2: where do you feel that when your friends come through
- 18:03Speaker 2: for you, that it feels like a different level of
- 18:07Speaker 2: love than when your family comes through for you?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Do you ever feel that? It's just like a different level?
- 18:14Speaker 1: I think that we sometimes rely more on our friends
- 18:19Speaker 1: than our family because a lot of things we don't
- 18:22Speaker 1: want to open up to our family. So instead of
- 18:24Speaker 1: our family judging, we will tell our friends our darkest
- 18:28Speaker 1: trouble and then present to our family everything is going well.
- 18:32Speaker 1: unless you're going through divorce or anything of that nature.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And I think that's when I don't, I'm the oldest of,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I only have cousins. I don't have siblings. And so
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'm the oldest of my cousins by 10 years. So
- 18:43Speaker 1: I don't really open up to them about a lot
- 18:44Speaker 1: of things because I'm perfect. I don't know about y'all,
- 18:47Speaker 1: but my life is perfect. So, but for Wendy's mom,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I mean, of course, that's her daughter. Of course, she's
- 18:54Speaker 1: going to, you know, guilty or not, you know, she's
- 18:56Speaker 1: going to support her daughter as much as possible. they're
- 19:00Speaker 1: African too. Africans are tight. They are tight-blooded people. You know? So,
- 19:05Speaker 1: they are. Okay? They scam together and they will defend together. So....
- 19:13Speaker 2: But I guess what I'm trying to say is, to
- 19:16Speaker 2: your point, we now, we do, especially nowadays, that we
- 19:21Speaker 2: rely on our friends for so many different things, right?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 2: But for me, I felt like When your family comes
- 19:27Speaker 2: through for you, when your family show a level of support,
- 19:30Speaker 2: it feels so much more deeper. It's like, yes, you're blood.
- 19:36Speaker 2: This is what I expect you to do. This is
- 19:38Speaker 2: the love that I have. And it also hurts the
- 19:40Speaker 2: same when they don't come through for you and you
- 19:42Speaker 2: expect them to. But seeing just seeing how her mom
- 19:47Speaker 2: and them were together and you see her like when
- 19:49Speaker 2: he's a emotional she was really vulnerable on a few
- 19:52Speaker 2: of those scenes and it was genuine it was extremely genuine.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Family would do that when you open up to family
- 19:58Speaker 1: sometimes you get to tear an eye you get to
- 20:00Speaker 1: crying family will really make you it does family will
- 20:04Speaker 1: make you pour over the smallest little things I am
- 20:08Speaker 1: a sucker for When it's talking to my aunt, oh
- 20:11Speaker 1: my God, my aunt would make me cry. Every year
- 20:14Speaker 1: for my birthday, she'll get me a card and I'm
- 20:16Speaker 1: boo-boo crying every time I'm reading it. Family really do
- 20:19Speaker 1: touch me. It does. So they do open up a
- 20:21Speaker 1: softer side to all of us. A little depending on
- 20:23Speaker 1: how close you are to your family. I mean, if
- 20:26Speaker 1: you have a parent like, I don't know, Hitler, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 1: you're not going to be really sad about your father.
- 20:32Speaker 2: So....
- 20:37Speaker 1: But that mama was coming for Karen. That mama was
- 20:40Speaker 1: coming for Karen. Mama Osefa said, keep my name out
- 20:43Speaker 1: your mouth, Karen Huger. Don't ever say my name. Go
- 20:46Speaker 1: to the library and find another reference. Go to the library,
- 20:51Speaker 1: all right? And you don't know this, but if I
- 20:54Speaker 1: was Karen, I would listen to Mama Osefa because it
- 20:57Speaker 1: was alleged a couple years ago, she's a witch and
- 21:00Speaker 1: practices voodoo. Now get out of here. Yep. Yep. There
- 21:07Speaker 1: was a housewife on Potomac named Nneka. Now, Nneka was
- 21:11Speaker 1: also Nigerian as well. And I guess that different Nigerians
- 21:15Speaker 1: practice voodoo. And she was saying, Wendy's mother practices voodoo.
- 21:21Speaker 1: And she put a curse out on Nneka and her family.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And Nneka knew this for sure.
- 21:25Speaker 2: What happened to Nneka since then?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Anything happen to her? She got fired that season. Fired. Well,
- 21:33Speaker 1: something must have happened. So, Karen, don't say nothing. Don't
- 21:37Speaker 1: talk about Mama Osefa no more because she got the
- 21:39Speaker 1: voodoo for you. Hey, yeah, forget that. I don't play
- 21:43Speaker 1: around with that. I don't play around with voodoo.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Another part of Potomac, the other part, it was two
- 21:49Speaker 2: other parts that I really like, but one other part
- 21:51Speaker 2: that we can talk about.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Is I really felt bad for Tina. Who's Tina? Tina.
- 21:59Speaker 1: What show are you watching? Tina? What's her name? Not Tina.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Who are you talking about? The one from England. The
- 22:08Speaker 1: black one from England. Tia. Tia. David. David. I spelled
- 22:13Speaker 1: it wrong. I spelled it wrong. Don't post that. I
- 22:16Speaker 1: spelled it wrong. What's that song? The Tina that lick
- 22:20Speaker 1: of the coke. The Tina that lick of the coke.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Which I need to smoke. The Tina that lick of
- 22:25Speaker 1: the ha-ha. The Tina that lick of the ha-ha. You
- 22:30Speaker 1: got that sex like in my head. Download the song
- 22:33Speaker 1: if you don't know the song. You put me on
- 22:36Speaker 1: the song and now I say it in my mind
- 22:38Speaker 1: because you used to say it all the time. The Tina,
- 22:40Speaker 1: the liquor, the coke. No, her name is Tia Glover. Tia.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Why do you feel bad for Tia? Because her husband
- 22:45Speaker 1: is on dating sites and behind her back. It is
- 22:47Speaker 1: sad to watch. It is so.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I think it's so sad to watch because she is
- 22:53Speaker 2: completely thrown off. But she did say That her husband
- 22:59Speaker 2: was on dating sites when they were pregnant, when she
- 23:02Speaker 2: was pregnant with her daughter.
- 23:04Speaker 1: And that's messed up, actually. That's very messed up. Like,
- 23:07Speaker 1: for you to be up here pregnant and worrying about
- 23:11Speaker 1: your own health as a pregnant woman, as a pregnant
- 23:13Speaker 1: Black woman, and your husband, who is losing hair on
- 23:17Speaker 1: top of his head, on dating sites? You're not all
- 23:20Speaker 1: that cute. You're not all that cute. You look like
- 23:22Speaker 1: a poindexter. Like, he just looks like a nerd with
- 23:25Speaker 1: big gap teeth. With a goofy smile. And those glasses
- 23:30Speaker 1: are ridiculous, too. His whole style is jacked up, you know?
- 23:33Speaker 2: And she did say that he said that he was lonely.
- 23:39Speaker 1: But you a grown man, you can't talk to your wife.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Like, I think that if he gonna cheat or do something, child,
- 23:47Speaker 2: like she said, do something sneaky.
- 23:49Speaker 1: But what you're doing is you also embarrassing me.
- 23:52Speaker 2: You embarrassing that woman because now you're on a dating
- 23:54Speaker 2: app with your whole face all out. And she's on
- 23:57Speaker 2: the damn show. Like, do you not have any kind
- 24:02Speaker 2: of discernment? Do you not have any level of maturity?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Or be just better.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Sneaky or something. But you're embarrassing this woman who's a
- 24:12Speaker 2: beautiful woman.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Amazing woman. Like, I don't like that. You know, this
- 24:17Speaker 1: is deja vu. You know, this happened before in Potomac.
- 24:20Speaker 1: With another wife. Ashley Darby, the light-skinned girl. She was
- 24:25Speaker 1: married to her ex-husband's name was Michael Darby. Michael. He's
- 24:29Speaker 1: on the gay app. Yep. Grinder. Jack. BBC. Bumble. Okay. Hinge.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Tender for the gays. Plenty of fish.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Ooh, what's the other one? It's a couple other ones. Well,
- 24:58Speaker 2: it's only on a website. They don't even have an
- 25:00Speaker 2: app for it.
- 25:01Speaker 1: You only can go on a webpage. I don't even know.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't know. History repeats itself. And he was out
- 25:08Speaker 1: here creeping in them clubs, in them DL clubs. And
- 25:13Speaker 1: people were sending him pictures of them and them two
- 25:17Speaker 1: together in a hotel room. They were sending pictures to Ashley.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Of her husband with them in a hotel room. That's
- 25:22Speaker 1: so embarrassing. So I think that obviously the both of
- 25:26Speaker 1: us are not married. So sometimes when you are married,
- 25:31Speaker 1: only speaking from people's stories to me, you just drift
- 25:35Speaker 1: apart from each other, especially if you've been married over
- 25:38Speaker 1: 12 years, you know?
- 25:39Speaker 2: But find something that's not so easily identified to people.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Like, you're embarrassing people. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. And let
- 25:47Speaker 1: me tell you about my mother and my stepfather. Story time. Wait,
- 25:54Speaker 1: let me, hold on. Where are you going? Oh, you
- 25:56Speaker 1: crossing your legs? People, if you were listening to this
- 25:58Speaker 1: on Spotify, click over, click over. Click over to the
- 26:01Speaker 1: visual part. My mother was married to this guy who
- 26:09Speaker 1: I was really close to. They were married for over 15,
- 26:12Speaker 1: 20 years, maybe 20 years at the most. Anyways, at
- 26:15Speaker 1: one point in their marriage, he was on a dating
- 26:17Speaker 1: site and she had no idea. She found out because
- 26:21Speaker 1: her good girlfriend was also on a dating, on that
- 26:24Speaker 1: same dating site and saw him. All right. So of
- 26:28Speaker 1: course my mother confronted him about it. And he said
- 26:30Speaker 1: the same thing that Tia's husband said, I'm lonely. So,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you know, they worked it out. They worked it out.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Two years later, back on the dating site and was
- 26:39Speaker 1: told by another one of her girlfriends who was on
- 26:41Speaker 1: the same dating site. So to these men who out
- 26:45Speaker 1: here want to cheat, just be honest with your spouse.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Be honest with your spouse. Because you know what? What
- 26:50Speaker 1: you do in the dark will come to the light.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You know, our parents have told us that. Our grandparents
- 26:55Speaker 1: have told us that because it's true. You're always going
- 26:58Speaker 1: to get caught. So we might as well just say,
- 27:00Speaker 1: you know what, babe? I either want to open marriage
- 27:03Speaker 1: or I think that we need to separate because I'm
- 27:05Speaker 1: having ideas or I want to go splurge out with
- 27:09Speaker 1: someone else. It sucks for these women or anybody, women
- 27:14Speaker 1: and men. It sucks for anyone who has a spouse
- 27:16Speaker 1: who wants to cheat or step out of the relationship,
- 27:20Speaker 1: especially when the other person really still locked in. You know,
- 27:25Speaker 1: that even requires for friendships as well. That requires for
- 27:27Speaker 1: friendship as well. Not to say no names, but someone
- 27:31Speaker 1: who used to be my co-host on this podcast just
- 27:34Speaker 1: didn't want to be no friend no more. And that
- 27:35Speaker 1: hurt me too. I felt like we weren't in a relationship,
- 27:38Speaker 1: but that's a tight friendship when I'm thinking that we're
- 27:40Speaker 1: still good friends. And then you blocked me, loser. For
- 27:47Speaker 1: no reason. The same thing happened to me earlier this year.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And here's the reason why the person told me. The
- 27:53Speaker 1: person said that they could never love me as much
- 27:56Speaker 1: as I love them. Oh. Was that the same co-host
- 28:01Speaker 1: that I'm talking about? Because that's what he told me too. No.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Maybe that's something Jack Cheapy T told these people to say.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Because that's real odd that you got the same message
- 28:10Speaker 1: I got. Big Nose Anteater. No. He told you that?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 28:17Speaker 1: That's what he told me. I said, what?
- 28:19Speaker 2: I said, I'm not asking you to love me the
- 28:24Speaker 2: same way that I love you.
- 28:25Speaker 1: We love differently. I ain't asking you to do that.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I'm not asking you to do that at all.
- 28:29Speaker 2: But just because we get into it doesn't mean that
- 28:33Speaker 2: we can't be friends or we get frustrated. I just
- 28:36Speaker 2: feel like the way how you love, I can't never
- 28:39Speaker 2: match that. And I feel inferior. And I just feel
- 28:41Speaker 2: like we just need to not be close friends anymore.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So that means we shouldn't talk? I'm going to see
- 28:46Speaker 2: him actually in Houston. We're going to have a lunch.
- 28:48Speaker 2: The first time we talked since January.
- 28:50Speaker 1: For what? Because I want to. For what? You chasing somebody. No,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you don't. You chasing somebody who doesn't have, doesn't even
- 28:58Speaker 1: want your time. You're just wasting your time. You trying
- 29:00Speaker 1: to save a relationship. Get rid of him. Get rid
- 29:03Speaker 1: of him. Don't throw that life jacket in that water.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Let him drown. You don't need him. You got the
- 29:10Speaker 1: comment section. Okay. Look, Tia. The comment section. The comment section.
- 29:16Speaker 1: We're going to the comment section. That didn't require musical work,
- 29:20Speaker 1: by the way. We're talking. Dialogue, honey. Dialogue. Tia Glover,
- 29:23Speaker 1: if you're listening to us, divorce your weird husband whose
- 29:27Speaker 1: hair is, who's balding. He's balding. All right. You don't
- 29:30Speaker 1: want a man who's trying to save his hair. All right.
- 29:32Speaker 1: That's how delusional he is. If you're balding, what are
- 29:34Speaker 1: you trying to save? All right. You're growing a horseshoe.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Shave it off. And I know he wasn't going on
- 29:39Speaker 1: no dates. You know, look like anyone dateable. I wouldn't
- 29:41Speaker 1: want to go on a date with someone who is balding.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Either be bald or have hair. You can't do both.
- 29:47Speaker 1: All right. Tia, divorce him. I do see them filing
- 29:50Speaker 1: for divorce by the reunion time. And that's my prediction.
- 29:55Speaker 1: And I do like Tia and I do wish her
- 29:56Speaker 1: the best of luck and her family, her girls and
- 29:59Speaker 1: her son. Beautiful family. Beautiful family. And it just sucks
- 30:02Speaker 1: that her and her husband are going through such things
- 30:05Speaker 1: like this. So, yeah. Anything else about Potomac before we
- 30:08Speaker 1: move on?
- 30:09Speaker 2: No. I think that Giselle is low as hell. And
- 30:14Speaker 2: Giselle needs to stop attacking Wendy. Like, she's just beating.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Her low and low and low and low. We know
- 30:20Speaker 1: Wendy is hurting. She needs to stop. She apologized on
- 30:23Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live on Sunday. She said she regrets
- 30:26Speaker 1: what she said because she really do really love Wendy
- 30:29Speaker 1: as a friend and she respects their friendship and she
- 30:32Speaker 1: apologized through the television. But with Giselle, if you read
- 30:37Speaker 1: my post, I said you need to pick up the
- 30:39Speaker 1: phone and also apologize to her in person or over
- 30:43Speaker 1: the phone. Because doing it through television, that's the easy part.
- 30:46Speaker 1: The hard part is actually saying it to the person directly.
- 30:49Speaker 1: So let's see how changed and sorry you really are
- 30:54Speaker 1: Giselle from Hell Bryant. Let's just wrap up the Housewives.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Let me just skim over this because I want to go. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I know you want to move on. I know you
- 31:08Speaker 1: want to, but it is one small, just a.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Small little part that I want to talk about.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Oh. Talk about those girl shoes. No, no.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I ain't talking about the girl shoes. Actually, I was
- 31:21Speaker 2: going to I said no. I scratched a lot of
- 31:24Speaker 2: my notes not to talk about it. But what I
- 31:27Speaker 2: thought that we should talk about when it comes to
- 31:29Speaker 2: the housewives of New York is that, what's her name?
- 31:34Speaker 1: Glassman? Haley? Haley Glassman? Let me tell you about this woman.
- 31:40Speaker 1: What I just really want to talk about.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Is that she can talk about everything. She asks all
- 31:45Speaker 2: kinds of questions. She can talk about her sex life, anything.
- 31:47Speaker 2: But the only thing that you can't talk about is
- 31:50Speaker 2: how she makes her money.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Is that weird? Oh, come on now. That's weird.
- 31:56Speaker 2: They said something like, they're on a private island, surrounded
- 32:00Speaker 2: by people with money, expensive clothes, all these amazing lifestyles,
- 32:06Speaker 2: and all they ask her is, Haley, what exactly do
- 32:11Speaker 2: you do for a living? Now, do you think, I
- 32:15Speaker 2: just want to ask you this question. Do you think
- 32:18Speaker 2: that she should have been that weird about her money?
- 32:22Speaker 2: Or do you think that it's her business and maybe
- 32:23Speaker 2: she don't want to talk about her money?
- 32:25Speaker 1: What do you think? I think she should be that
- 32:27Speaker 1: weird when you're on national television talking about your money. Yes,
- 32:31Speaker 1: you should be that weird when you want to, how
- 32:35Speaker 1: you get your money. Because we have seen housewives come
- 32:39Speaker 1: on the series, on the shows. People who watch the
- 32:42Speaker 1: shows are weird. FBI agents, private investigators, people who work
- 32:47Speaker 1: for the IRS. And they do their Googling, smuggling, and
- 32:51Speaker 1: they find out this person ain't paid their bills and
- 32:54Speaker 1: their taxes in 10 years. Jail time, Teresa and Joe Giudice.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Or they say, how does this person make money and
- 33:04Speaker 1: they're living in a million dollar house and their husband
- 33:06Speaker 1: is this college community basketball coach? Jen Shaw. That's how
- 33:12Speaker 1: she got arrested. Because these fans... who are people in
- 33:16Speaker 1: power that can't arrest you, watches these shows. That's true. So,
- 33:20Speaker 1: for Haley, smart move. But you know what that tells me?
- 33:23Speaker 1: She about to go to jail next season.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I mean, but to your point, though, I don't know
- 33:32Speaker 2: if she was protecting her privacy or she just avoiding
- 33:35Speaker 2: reasonable questions.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Because there's something to it. It's something illegal. It must be.
- 33:39Speaker 1: It's something illegal to it.
- 33:40Speaker 2: But nobody's not even asking her for her bank statement.
- 33:43Speaker 2: They ain't asking her for her tax return. They ain't
- 33:45Speaker 2: asking her for her passport. All they're seeing is what she,
- 33:48Speaker 2: what the hell.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Do you do?
- 33:51Speaker 2: But now, to your point though, on the other hand,
- 33:55Speaker 2: when did being a housewife mean you owe anybody for
- 33:57Speaker 2: a breakdown of your finances? Especially if you could be
- 34:00Speaker 2: involved with something. So, I'm telling you.
- 34:04Speaker 1: When Salt Lake City season one came on, Jen Shaw
- 34:08Speaker 1: was saying, I forgot whatever she was saying, but the
- 34:11Speaker 1: math wasn't mathing to where she was living in a
- 34:13Speaker 1: million dollar house. So when season two came around, she
- 34:16Speaker 1: was in the middle of filming it and they and
- 34:18Speaker 1: the SWAT team came and arrested her in the middle
- 34:20Speaker 1: of the season. I thought you watched Salt Lake City
- 34:23Speaker 1: in the early days. Came and got her from the bus.
- 34:26Speaker 1: First of all, she got a tip. She got a
- 34:27Speaker 1: tip on the phone. So she left the bus. As
- 34:29Speaker 1: soon as she left, the SWAT team came, literally coming
- 34:32Speaker 1: from the ceilings, busting windows, dogs coming through. It felt
- 34:37Speaker 1: like we were watching an episode of Cops. I'm not
- 34:38Speaker 1: even exaggerating. I'm not even joking. That's exactly what happened.
- 34:42Speaker 2: So are the women genuinely curious about Haley?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Yeah, because they don't know what she does or where
- 34:52Speaker 1: her money comes from. I think it's genuine. But she
- 34:55Speaker 1: probably would be more willing to open up about it
- 34:58Speaker 1: if she wasn't on camera. Another prime example with Hailey,
- 35:02Speaker 1: we haven't seen her husband on TV yet. We haven't
- 35:05Speaker 1: seen her husband. That means that he's not willing to
- 35:08Speaker 1: be on TV. Why? What are you hiding? And you
- 35:12Speaker 1: know who I'm thinking of? Rhode Island housewives. Remember Kelsey?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Her sugar daddy would not come on camera because he
- 35:18Speaker 1: was hiding his lifestyle. So when people are hiding, you
- 35:22Speaker 1: have to remember, sometimes people are hiding to protect themselves
- 35:26Speaker 1: from being indicted or being caught. So, look, I do
- 35:33Speaker 1: want to know, Haley, how do you get your money?
- 35:36Speaker 1: But with you not telling us, one of these fans
- 35:40Speaker 1: is going to do their Google smuggling, and you may
- 35:45Speaker 1: be charged with something next season, and I can't wait.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Ha ha ha!
- 35:49Speaker 2: Well, I'm clear she got money. She said Gucci's not expensive.
- 35:51Speaker 2: She says, no, two apartments are not that expensive.
- 35:55Speaker 1: They said, yes, it is expensive. She said, my husband
- 35:59Speaker 1: has an Audi. My watch is more than an Audi. Yeah,
- 36:02Speaker 1: she was his name dropping, honey. And she was not
- 36:05Speaker 1: even trying to gloat. She was just saying like, my
- 36:07Speaker 1: watch is... That's how she knows she got money. But hey, baby,
- 36:11Speaker 1: save your... If.
- 36:12Speaker 2: You feel like you got something you don't want.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Nobody to know, more power to you. It's so funny
- 36:17Speaker 1: that you brought that situation up. Because we didn't talk
- 36:22Speaker 1: about this when we talked earlier about what we're going
- 36:24Speaker 1: to discuss. We did not talk about this. So this
- 36:26Speaker 1: is why it's funny. Because, as I mentioned, the fans
- 36:30Speaker 1: Google Smoogle. I want to see what her husband looks like.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And that's what I did yesterday. I Googled Smoogle. Because
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm one of those people who needs answers. Show me.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Send it to me, too. I'm actually texting to you
- 36:43Speaker 1: as we speak right now. Actually, you know what? Here
- 36:46Speaker 1: he is right here. I'll just show the screen since
- 36:48Speaker 1: this is also a visual show. That's her husband. He's
- 36:51Speaker 1: not ugly. He's not ugly at all. No, he's actually
- 36:53Speaker 1: good looking. He's kind of cute. That's her husband. He
- 36:56Speaker 1: looks innocent. Yes. His name is Ruben. I can't pronounce
- 37:01Speaker 1: the last name. Ruben, the last name is spelled C-R-O-N-I-G. C-R-O-N-I-G. Cronig? Cronig?
- 37:12Speaker 1: That's her husband, Ruben. Yeah, it was one of those
- 37:16Speaker 1: people who did the Googling and smuggling. Yeah, Helly, I
- 37:19Speaker 1: hope that I'm just joking with the whole jail thing.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I'm really joking. I hope that you don't go to
- 37:23Speaker 1: jail or get indicted next season. But it's given that
- 37:26Speaker 1: I've been watching Housewives since 2009. All right. No, it's not.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Not when you ain't telling your business today. I'm telling you,
- 37:35Speaker 1: just like how I'm nosy, someone's about to Google smuggle
- 37:37Speaker 1: and they about to pull up Ruben's stuff. And they're
- 37:39Speaker 1: about to pull up Haley stuff. She ain't pay her
- 37:41Speaker 1: taxes on this one. Or she's stealing money from the elderly.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Or she kidnapped somebody. Jail time next season. Mark my words.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Smuggle it. Google smuggle. Google smuggle is wild. Since we're
- 37:57Speaker 1: keeping on New York City, let's go to the spinoff
- 38:00Speaker 1: of Roni, The Golden Life, which finally premiered on Tuesday night.
- 38:05Speaker 1: The kickoff girls. The girls who got kicked off. They
- 38:07Speaker 1: all got fired. All right. I'm a little salty. New
- 38:10Speaker 1: York City was my favorite Housewives franchise of them all
- 38:13Speaker 1: back in the day. But they got fired and, you know,
- 38:16Speaker 1: that happened five years ago. This show, this season premiere
- 38:20Speaker 1: was lighthearted and fun.
- 38:22Speaker 2: All right.
- 38:23Speaker 1: These women are actually friends with each other. They are
- 38:26Speaker 1: in each other's lives. They fight like sisters and then
- 38:29Speaker 1: they make up five seconds later. I will always have
- 38:33Speaker 1: a love for the OG Roni cast always will because
- 38:37Speaker 1: they are authentically insane, but authentically they love each other. Um,
- 38:42Speaker 1: so I, I enjoy, I genuinely enjoyed this premiere. Um,
- 38:47Speaker 1: but when the one thing that really caught my, caught
- 38:49Speaker 1: my attention was Miss Sonia Morgan, you know, JP Morgan,
- 38:52Speaker 1: you know, the bank JP Morgan. Yeah. Okay. She was
- 38:56Speaker 1: married to the owner of JP Morgan. Okay. He just
- 38:59Speaker 1: recently died maybe two years ago, I think, or maybe
- 39:01Speaker 1: last year, but she was married to the owner of
- 39:03Speaker 1: JP Morgan. So her daughter, huh, wealthy, wealthy. All right.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Sonya Morgan on this premiere is like the black sheep
- 39:13Speaker 1: of the group. These women haven't seen her in three
- 39:17Speaker 1: to five years. OK, because the only time she sees
- 39:20Speaker 1: them is when their cameras up. So she pretty much said,
- 39:22Speaker 1: you got to pay me to hang out with you.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And she's not even that type of girl.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Why didn't you tell me to watch the show? You
- 39:26Speaker 2: explaining it so beautifully. I'm like, oh, this sounds good. Well,
- 39:30Speaker 2: because you had to have cable. You had to have cable.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Oh, you did tell me. You did. I'm sorry. But now,
- 39:36Speaker 1: since you brought that up, Hulu has a deal with
- 39:39Speaker 1: the show now where now the episodes will stream on
- 39:42Speaker 1: Hulu starting November 3rd. So everyone who doesn't have cable,
- 39:45Speaker 1: who didn't watch Super Mario yet, you can watch it
- 39:47Speaker 1: on Hulu starting November 3rd. Um, so that just came
- 39:50Speaker 1: out a couple hours ago, but Sonia is a black sheep.
- 39:53Speaker 1: She only hangs out these women when there's cameras and
- 39:55Speaker 1: when she's getting paid. And that's why she didn't show
- 39:58Speaker 1: up for ultimate girl strip. She said, I wasn't getting
- 40:00Speaker 1: paid for it. So I'm not showing up to appear
- 40:02Speaker 1: at an ultimate girl strip. All right. But David, she
- 40:06Speaker 1: ain't that type of girl to be demanding money. Okay.
- 40:08Speaker 1: They pay her change, little change to come on the TV.
- 40:11Speaker 1: They don't pay her the bitcoins. All right. How much
- 40:13Speaker 1: little change? I'd say $ 150, 000. $ 150, 000. Shit, that little change?
- 40:17Speaker 1: Turn in the dollars. Compared to Bethany Franco, who gets
- 40:20Speaker 1: a million. Compared to Ramona Singer, who will probably get $ 900, 000.
- 40:23Speaker 1: She ain't getting that much money compared to them. Anyways, Sonya,
- 40:29Speaker 1: for some odd reason, has an issue with Dorinda over
- 40:32Speaker 1: something that happened in 2015. 2015? You didn't watch Roni.
- 40:39Speaker 1: In the season eight of Roni, Dorinda did not invite
- 40:42Speaker 1: Sonya to her house. because Sonya was having an issue,
- 40:46Speaker 1: a grievance with Bethany. So Dorinda said, you know what?
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm going to invite all the other girls, but Sonya,
- 40:52Speaker 1: you're going to just stay out this party, not come
- 40:54Speaker 1: to my house, because I don't want Bethany attacking you.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Dorinda did do it to protect Sonya, all right? Sonya
- 41:04Speaker 1: didn't see it that way. What Sonya said on The
- 41:06Speaker 1: Golden Life is, we got paid by the episodes, right?
- 41:09Speaker 1: By you excluding me from your house, I wasn't in
- 41:13Speaker 1: the episode and I lost money. But it happened over
- 41:16Speaker 1: 10 years ago. It happened in 2015. They filmed it
- 41:18Speaker 1: in 2015. How much money was that though? She said $ 100, 000.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Shit, that's a lot of money. I may still be
- 41:24Speaker 2: mad too. Go ahead and ask me the question.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Listen, from season 8 to season 13, they had those
- 41:33Speaker 1: seasons together. They had made up. They did the Ultimate
- 41:36Speaker 1: Girls Trip, another season of Ultimate Girls Trip together. They
- 41:39Speaker 1: moved on. My question is to you. Have you ever
- 41:42Speaker 1: had a friend who still lives in the past, who
- 41:45Speaker 1: can't move on from something, that still wants to bring
- 41:47Speaker 1: up the past all the time? Have you ever had
- 41:50Speaker 1: a friend like that? Um, yeah, yeah.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I mean, I can give you the real example, or
- 41:58Speaker 2: I can also talk about this particular situation.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Give me one example and the best one you got. Shit.
- 42:06Speaker 1: This is our show. You know, honestly, honestly, I'm going
- 42:13Speaker 1: to say me.
- 42:15Speaker 2: So this is something that I need to let go.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Like my sister, when I think I was like 18
- 42:21Speaker 2: or 19, she wanted to know whether or not I
- 42:23Speaker 2: was gay.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And so she created a.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Gay profile of some white guy, like some white random model.
- 42:34Speaker 2: messaging me to try to see if I was gay
- 42:35Speaker 2: now mind you I never even like even back then
- 42:37Speaker 2: I wasn't even messaging nobody back like that so I
- 42:39Speaker 2: was like what the fuck anyway I found out maybe
- 42:43Speaker 2: like seven years eight years no I think I found
- 42:46Speaker 2: out like ten years later I think it was.
- 42:48Speaker 1: At one of my aunt's funeral and then my other
- 42:51Speaker 1: sister was like.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Well at least I didn't do what such and such
- 42:54Speaker 2: did she created that fake page trying to find out
- 42:56Speaker 2: if um if Davi was gay or not and I
- 42:59Speaker 2: looked at her so this has now been like eight,
- 43:03Speaker 2: nine years ago.
- 43:03Speaker 1: And I looked at her and I wanted to slap
- 43:06Speaker 1: the shit out of her.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Because that wasn't the first time that she was trying
- 43:09Speaker 2: to find things to expose me, find whether or not
- 43:11Speaker 2: I'm gay and doing all this shit like that.
- 43:13Speaker 1: She could just ask me. And everybody I'm told talked
- 43:16Speaker 1: to them when I was younger. And I still haven't
- 43:19Speaker 1: let that go.
- 43:19Speaker 2: And it's so hard for me to let that go
- 43:21Speaker 2: because it was just an accumulation of things that she
- 43:24Speaker 2: did that was just so fucking shady.
- 43:27Speaker 1: But are you close to her now? Are you close
- 43:30Speaker 1: to her now? No. No, we don't. This year, we've
- 43:33Speaker 1: talked two times. So I get that because I can
- 43:40Speaker 1: hold a grudge too. That's why I'm not even going
- 43:42Speaker 1: to give examples because I am the example. All right,
- 43:44Speaker 1: I will hold a grudge. I'm still mad at my
- 43:47Speaker 1: mother for giving birth to me. How dare you drop
- 43:49Speaker 1: me into this world and expect me to pay for
- 43:51Speaker 1: everything I got to do? How dare you? So look,
- 43:54Speaker 1: I hold grudges for years. But for that, I would
- 43:57Speaker 1: always hold a grudge on that one. Always. But then too,
- 44:00Speaker 1: to your point, you're not moving on with her. Sonya
- 44:04Speaker 1: has moved on, but she keeps going back. Now that's different.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I agree with you now. That's a little different. She
- 44:09Speaker 1: forgives her. Dorinda has apologized so many times. And so
- 44:12Speaker 1: in this premiere, Dorinda said, that's history. Move on, Sonya.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Find something else. Move on. Because it's like, I keep
- 44:19Speaker 1: saying I'm sorry all the time. And then you keep
- 44:21Speaker 1: going back to it. That's the part where I'm just like,
- 44:23Speaker 1: have you ever had a friend who you made up
- 44:26Speaker 1: and then you went, they keep going back to what
- 44:28Speaker 1: you did. Because I can't be around anyone who actually
- 44:32Speaker 1: is like that type of person. I can't function well.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I get really antsy. No, I can't do that.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I think that once you forgive somebody and you've said it,
- 44:39Speaker 2: you got to let that shit go.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Because now it's like, what the fuck are you trying
- 44:42Speaker 1: to do now?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:44Speaker 1: So I agree with you on that one. Sonia lives
- 44:46Speaker 1: in the past and that's her Achilles heel. She lives
- 44:49Speaker 1: in the past. She talks about her husband leaving her.
- 44:52Speaker 1: She talks about as if her husband left her last
- 44:54Speaker 1: year and they've been divorced for over 25, 30 years now.
- 44:57Speaker 1: She lives in the past. Nice woman. Good for TV.
- 45:01Speaker 1: But she still hurt. She still hurt.
- 45:04Speaker 2: She got to bring up that episode about one hundred
- 45:06Speaker 2: thousand dollars because maybe her money struggling somewhere.
- 45:08Speaker 1: And so she's thinking that what if she had a
- 45:10Speaker 1: file for bankruptcy and she had to end up paying
- 45:14Speaker 1: 17 million dollars and whatever fee to clear her bankruptcy,
- 45:18Speaker 1: something of that nature. And so she is not. That's
- 45:21Speaker 1: why I told you she's not financially stable and she
- 45:23Speaker 1: she's not that girl to be demanding money like that. Because,
- 45:27Speaker 1: but she needs the money. She really does. That's why
- 45:28Speaker 1: she's still mad about it. She's like, what if I
- 45:30Speaker 1: can do it at $ 100, 000? Yeah. But for those who
- 45:34Speaker 1: love the OG Roni, if you haven't seen The Golden Life,
- 45:38Speaker 1: and you're waiting for it to come on Hulu, I
- 45:41Speaker 1: enjoyed the premiere. I'm going to be there for the
- 45:43Speaker 1: rest of the season. Lightheart, I laughed so hard to be.
- 45:47Speaker 1: These women are just so funny to me. Ramona Sinker,
- 45:52Speaker 1: So Ramona had an event at the store, at like
- 45:54Speaker 1: a regular store. Some folks haven't watched it. Well, I'm
- 45:59Speaker 1: giving you something to look forward to. So Ramona had
- 46:02Speaker 1: an event at the store, at a regular store. And
- 46:04Speaker 1: there was customers in the store. And she kicked them
- 46:06Speaker 1: all out because she's having an event and it's on camera.
- 46:09Speaker 1: You need to get out. Ramona is rude as fuck.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Ramona is the reason why they all got fired, FYI.
- 46:15Speaker 1: All right. She's the reason why they all got fired
- 46:16Speaker 1: because of her rudeness. And her ignorance. But she makes
- 46:20Speaker 1: good TV. And I can't help but laugh at her
- 46:22Speaker 1: because she's just so funny. But yeah, I enjoyed The
- 46:25Speaker 1: Golden Life. I really did. I enjoyed that the mayor. Yay. Yeah.
- 46:33Speaker 1: You know what? Let's talk about the Super Bowl. Oh, shit.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I forgot about that. I didn't. Because you know what?
- 46:41Speaker 1: I'm excited about this.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I got three people and I got a bonus person
- 46:44Speaker 2: who I know you're going to.
- 46:46Speaker 1: We ain't get there yet. You're jumping ahead. You're jumping ahead. Okay.
- 46:49Speaker 1: You're jumping ahead. Let me ride this horse. All right.
- 46:54Speaker 1: You know you can. I am the horse, honey. All right. Right.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I can do it right. That laugh. That laugh. Fuck
- 47:07Speaker 1: you did. What the fuck was that? Oh my god.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Jay-Z is rumored to be performing at the next Super
- 47:16Speaker 1: Bowl of next year. No, no, no, no, no.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Don't.
- 47:21Speaker 1: No tomatoes. We're not booing. All right. No, no, no, no.
- 47:24Speaker 1: We're not booing. For those listening, that's David being negative. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
- 47:28Speaker 1: You know what this means, David? You know what this means?
- 47:31Speaker 1: It's a chance that Queen Bey, Beyoncé, may come out
- 47:35Speaker 1: as a cameo. All right. They got so many songs together.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I did not think that. You got to think it's
- 47:41Speaker 1: all about Beyoncé. So I'm thinking, you know, the Super
- 47:44Speaker 1: Bowl usually lasts about 12 to 15 minutes long. Maybe
- 47:48Speaker 1: Beyonce will stay out for 10 minutes and Jay-Z can
- 47:50Speaker 1: only get those four minutes to his side. Because who
- 47:52Speaker 1: cares about Jay-Z? We don't care about Jay-Z. We want
- 47:54Speaker 1: to see Beyonce, Queen B, you know? Okay. But it's
- 47:58Speaker 1: not official. This is all alleged that Jay-Z will be
- 48:02Speaker 1: performing at the next Super Bowl. And I don't know
- 48:04Speaker 1: if people know this, but he is the key decision
- 48:06Speaker 1: maker of who gets to perform at the Super Bowl.
- 48:09Speaker 1: He's been doing it since 2019. All right. Did you
- 48:12Speaker 1: know this? Roc Nation secured a $ 5 million deal with
- 48:17Speaker 1: the NFL. Not $ 5 million. I did my research. I
- 48:21Speaker 1: did my research. Went to school for journalism. Don't check me.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Only $ 5 million? $ 5 million. $ 5 million deal. Let me
- 48:28Speaker 1: look one more time.
- 48:29Speaker 2: That don't seem like a lot though, does it?
- 48:33Speaker 1: It doesn't, but I guess that's the deal. They only
- 48:35Speaker 1: get to pick because they're only picking the people and
- 48:38Speaker 1: they're producing. They're only picking and producing. So in 2019,
- 48:43Speaker 1: they got that $ 5 million deal. And then in 2024,
- 48:47Speaker 1: they re-signed another contract to do it for another five years.
- 48:50Speaker 1: So clearly the NFL is really pleased with who is
- 48:54Speaker 1: selected for the halftime show. And so Jay-Z said, it's
- 48:57Speaker 1: time for me to actually perform. He has never performed.
- 49:01Speaker 1: And he has always said that he always denies and
- 49:05Speaker 1: says no to these performances because he doesn't want to
- 49:08Speaker 1: do it. You know, they don't get paid to do
- 49:09Speaker 1: this either. Did you know that? These people who perform,
- 49:12Speaker 1: they don't get paid. They have to put their own
- 49:14Speaker 1: money in the performance. That's why a lot of people
- 49:17Speaker 1: say no. So they have to pay. for their own
- 49:20Speaker 1: glam squad, their own team. They pay for everything out
- 49:23Speaker 1: of their own pockets. It's coming out of the singer's
- 49:27Speaker 1: budget of their own pockets. Because this is promotion. That
- 49:32Speaker 1: Super Bowl halftime show is promotion for whatever project they're
- 49:35Speaker 1: releasing next. So that's how they expect to make their money.
- 49:39Speaker 1: So that's why every time someone performs, they announce a concert,
- 49:42Speaker 1: you know, a couple months later. That's a way to
- 49:44Speaker 1: promote whatever they got going on next for them. I'm
- 49:47Speaker 1: surprised you didn't know that. Beyonce. I'm surprised you didn't
- 49:50Speaker 1: know that. Okay. Okay. You got me.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Because I was coming for it. I had tomatoes. We
- 49:55Speaker 2: bought a big motherfucking spaghetti, goddammit.
- 49:57Speaker 1: But, okay. Listen, not salt and tomatoes. Well, you can
- 50:01Speaker 1: throw salt and tomatoes at Jay-Z. I'm not a Jay-Z
- 50:03Speaker 1: fan like that. I like one or two songs. But
- 50:06Speaker 1: because he's married to Beyonce, I'm just crossing my fingers
- 50:09Speaker 1: and hoping maybe he's going to bring out the queen
- 50:12Speaker 1: and we could see her do her thing. But if
- 50:15Speaker 1: it was up to you, who would you pick to
- 50:17Speaker 1: be performing at the Super Bowl?
- 50:22Speaker 2: I wish we could, like, you could edit it and bring, like,
- 50:26Speaker 2: a Davide's Corner, and then I come up with my glasses.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Next time, get glasses, and maybe you can get, like,
- 50:35Speaker 1: a little cardboard box that says Davide's Corner, you know. Yeah, yeah, maybe.
- 50:40Speaker 1: We can work on it. Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 2: So, one person, Grammy winner, 2026, always shows up. She's
- 50:48Speaker 2: been to Super Bowl before. Huge star. Million folks showed
- 50:53Speaker 2: up in Brazil for her.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Lady Gaga. She's did it. Next. You're not current. She
- 50:58Speaker 1: could do it again. I don't think they do. Beyonce,
- 51:01Speaker 1: I don't think they like to people do it again.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Beyonce did it like two times. She did it once. No,
- 51:06Speaker 1: she was with Bruno Mars one time. That was a cameo.
- 51:09Speaker 1: She didn't headline it. She was there for a long time.
- 51:12Speaker 1: All right. Well, fine. Well, Lady Gaga was there last year.
- 51:15Speaker 1: She did the same thing. She made her second cameo. No,
- 51:17Speaker 1: this year with Bad Bunny. She did. Oh, she did. Okay,
- 51:21Speaker 1: you're right. All right. How about Billie Eilish? Oh, I
- 51:28Speaker 1: like Billie. Billie. What do you want from me? What
- 51:31Speaker 1: do you want from me? I like Billie. All right.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Good one. I'm going to give you a clap on that. Okay.
- 51:37Speaker 1: All right. Who else? How about Victoria Monet? I don't
- 51:43Speaker 1: think she's that well known. She would be good. She
- 51:45Speaker 1: got a Grammy. Yeah, but I don't think she's... I
- 51:49Speaker 1: think they want someone big. I don't think she would
- 51:51Speaker 1: be a good one.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Maybe she can be with somebody else. So I was thinking...
- 51:55Speaker 2: Come out as a cameo? Two pop stars, and then
- 51:59Speaker 2: that was one particular R & B star, too. So maybe, like,
- 52:03Speaker 2: you know, put them together. Kind of put two folks together.
- 52:06Speaker 1: And I know this is going to be one... Huh?
- 52:08Speaker 1: I didn't like when J-Lo and Shakira had a share.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I don't like when... Yeah, no, that wasn't good. I
- 52:12Speaker 1: didn't like that one. Whatever! Okay. I have someone... Number four.
- 52:17Speaker 1: And I know I'm going to get backlash, and I
- 52:19Speaker 1: hope you don't edit this in, but I don't care.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I'm going to say it. Chris Brown, y'all. No. Peter Brown.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Chris Brown. Nope. Absolutely not. If your man's on the floor,
- 52:31Speaker 1: if you ain't, let him know.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Let me see you get grounded, grounded.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Wishful thinking. But, you know, all the women in the
- 52:41Speaker 1: audience will have to wear helmets if he performs because
- 52:43Speaker 1: he's unstable. He's unpredictable. Throwing stuff, be throwing punches, kicks.
- 52:50Speaker 1: He's dangerous. All right. You're going to disagree with mine,
- 52:53Speaker 1: but here are my three choices I would do. These
- 52:56Speaker 1: are all the people who have never performed before. All right. Drake. Drake.
- 53:02Speaker 1: He never performed. He never headlined the Super Bowl. Drake
- 53:05Speaker 1: is worldwide known. All right. He'll be good at it.
- 53:09Speaker 1: All right. But they're not going to let him perform.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I don't know. It's a possibility. I think it's a possibility.
- 53:15Speaker 1: I think all my people have really big possibilities within
- 53:18Speaker 1: the next five years. Okay. Number two, Miley Cyrus. Never
- 53:23Speaker 1: performed either. I love Miley Cyrus. She's also... widely known.
- 53:27Speaker 1: And she had a new album that just dropped this year.
- 53:29Speaker 1: So I really thought she would be the one headlining
- 53:32Speaker 1: in February. All right. My last one, which is so
- 53:35Speaker 1: crazy that this person never headlined the Super Bowl. Pink.
- 53:39Speaker 1: The singer Pink. She's big. Never headlined the Super Bowl.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Did she headline it? She is huge. Huge. She's huge.
- 53:50Speaker 1: She had her own I always say this too. People
- 53:52Speaker 1: who have their own residencies is always capable of, in Vegas,
- 53:56Speaker 1: those Vegas residencies, they're always capable of headlining. Because if
- 54:00Speaker 1: you can hold a residency for six months, you're big.
- 54:03Speaker 1: How about Shabuzen? He don't have that many songs though, friend.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Is he new? He'll be good to come out as
- 54:13Speaker 1: a guest. But a lot of people know him, though. Yeah.
- 54:17Speaker 1: At least if he's like a guest, like bring him on. Yeah,
- 54:19Speaker 1: he'll be a good guest. I agree. I do like Sabuzi.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I do like him. Him and Miley Cyrus. Yeah, that
- 54:25Speaker 1: would be a good one. That would be a good one. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Well,
- 54:30Speaker 1: the Super Bowl is going to be airing February 14th, 2027.
- 54:34Speaker 1: And Daveed and I will update you on who is
- 54:39Speaker 1: headlining next. Like I said, Jay-Z's not official. That's just
- 54:41Speaker 1: a word on the curb. And you know, I'm always
- 54:43Speaker 1: on the streets picking stuff up. So we will let
- 54:46Speaker 1: you know when it's official and who's officially headlining the
- 54:50Speaker 1: Super Bowl. All right. And what if it's one of
- 54:52Speaker 1: the folks that we said? That'd be crazy. If it's
- 54:55Speaker 1: one of them. If it's one of mine, I want
- 54:57Speaker 1: to cut. If it's one of yours, you need to cut.
- 54:59Speaker 1: All right. Because we are suggesting it. And you know,
- 55:02Speaker 1: Roc Nation listened to our podcast. So they're listening to
- 55:05Speaker 1: you and I. Our opinion matters to Roc Nation. So
- 55:07Speaker 1: if it's one of our people, hmm?
- 55:10Speaker 2: Listen, well, let me go back to make sure I
- 55:12Speaker 2: clear this up. I'm not booing Jay-Z because he's.
- 55:16Speaker 1: A bad artist. He's an amazing artist. I'm going to
- 55:19Speaker 1: go back and clear mine up before I forget. What
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm saying is that... Rock Nation, just give me a cut.
- 55:25Speaker 1: There's so many stars.
- 55:28Speaker 2: There's so many stars and Jay-Z is so big that
- 55:32Speaker 2: he could have let somebody else have the stage.
- 55:35Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Let somebody else have the stage.
- 55:38Speaker 1: You already, you're a billionaire. You already got, you don't
- 55:41Speaker 1: need to be performing. Unless it's your wife. We need her.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I didn't even think about Beyonce. Oh, my God. But,
- 55:48Speaker 1: you know, Jay-Z just had a three-day concert in Brooklyn
- 55:51Speaker 1: and was sold out for all three days. I heard
- 55:53Speaker 1: it was good. People were trying to break in. Remember,
- 55:54Speaker 1: people were trying to break in. They were. They did
- 55:57Speaker 1: break in. Ghetto was here. And the concert was delayed
- 56:00Speaker 1: to 1 a.m. because they had to get all the
- 56:01Speaker 1: people who broke in. They had to kick them out.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Jay-Z is really, really popular. And that man, people go
- 56:06Speaker 1: hard for his music. So if he is the headline,
- 56:10Speaker 1: if he is headlined at the Super Bowl, people are
- 56:13Speaker 1: going to go crazy for him.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 56:15Speaker 1: White Frigerators. No, White Frigerators. I say Newport Cigarette Camo. So, yeah.
- 56:25Speaker 2: I'm not talking about him because they listen. You just
- 56:28Speaker 2: said White Frigerator.
- 56:31Speaker 1: No, I'm talking about the ghetto of what they did
- 56:34Speaker 1: at that concert to break up in there. Oh, I
- 56:35Speaker 1: thought you were throwing shade at him. Oh, you didn't
- 56:37Speaker 1: let me know. No, I was not throwing shade. Well,
- 56:39Speaker 1: you already threw tomatoes, so I guess we both lost
- 56:42Speaker 1: our cut. Yeah, I threw tomatoes because he doesn't need
- 56:43Speaker 1: to perform. We need his wife to perform. Yeah. We
- 56:46Speaker 1: both lost our cut since Rock mentioned this. No, no, no.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I'll let you lose your cut, God damn it. Don't
- 56:52Speaker 1: take mine away. All right, well, that's an hour, my friend.
- 56:59Speaker 1: We ran out of time. Did you like this episode?
- 57:05Speaker 1: Did I enunciate my words and did I talk slowly
- 57:08Speaker 1: and explain things thoroughly? Am I going to be upset
- 57:11Speaker 1: with myself when I listen back to this? No, you're
- 57:14Speaker 1: going to be okay. But see, I think you just
- 57:17Speaker 1: need to stop beating yourself up so much and just
- 57:20Speaker 1: be normal Marcus. Be you, who you are. That's it.
- 57:25Speaker 1: When I'm over here, I just be talking. Just be me.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You know what it is? When you were doing your
- 57:31Speaker 1: piece about New York and Potomac, I was able to
- 57:34Speaker 1: be me. You showed out. You showed out. But you
- 57:38Speaker 1: went back in your shell because you want to get
- 57:40Speaker 1: all the facts out. It's hard to be the moderator.
- 57:42Speaker 1: It's hard to be the moderator. You showed out. You
- 57:45Speaker 1: showed out. So, you know what? That was my favorite.
- 57:48Speaker 2: I was going to say that to you after we
- 57:50Speaker 2: start recording. I guess you can cut this part out.
- 57:53Speaker 2: But I was like, oh, yeah, this is it. Like,
- 57:56Speaker 2: as you were, like, going, I was like, oh, yeah, yeah.
- 58:00Speaker 2: You showed, like, you, like, clicked a switch. And I
- 58:03Speaker 2: see why, because you have to kind of get back, like,
- 58:05Speaker 2: what you said, because I kind of typed some stuff up.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, I should say this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 58:10Speaker 1: But then I couldn't remember everything. So I was like,
- 58:14Speaker 1: it's hard to be the moderator. It's hard to be
- 58:16Speaker 1: the moderator. You showed up. I get the facts and
- 58:18Speaker 1: then I get the opinion. Maybe I'll take a topic
- 58:19Speaker 1: on some of the parts. Maybe I'll do one. You should.
- 58:22Speaker 1: You should. Okay? You should. Please do. Make my back.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Get some off my back, Satan. Please.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Get some off my back. You're like, oh, I don't.
- 58:32Speaker 2: You're like, I don't know what to say about the.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't. About Potomac or New York. Soon
- 58:38Speaker 1: as it came on, you was like, oh. I was like, okay. Like, instant.
- 58:48Speaker 1: It was, like, instant. I was like, oh, it's time
- 58:50Speaker 1: to get back on the phone. So, I can do that. Yes,
- 58:55Speaker 1: please do. Let me do the shows that, the two
- 58:58Speaker 1: that we talk about. You can do all them other
- 59:00Speaker 1: extra ones you be doing. Now, look, we can't be
- 59:03Speaker 1: talking about them every week now, okay? No. You can
- 59:08Speaker 1: have one part. It's filler. It was a filler. Today
- 59:10Speaker 1: was a filler episode as well. I said that. I
- 59:13Speaker 1: said it was a filler. But it was a good part.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I think it was good stuff what you talked about.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Good questions you asked. I think so. You too, friend.
- 59:21Speaker 1: You too. I think it was good too. Until I
- 59:24Speaker 1: listened to it. We'll see. Child, you always be... We'll see.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Stop beating yourself up. I'm a perfectionist.
- 59:31Speaker 2: I really am a handsome as fuck. I do not
- 59:34Speaker 2: look fucking 40. This is crazy.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I'm conceited. I got a reason. All right,
- 59:38Speaker 1: Remy Ma. All right, cool. Give yourself props. All right. Oh,
- 59:44Speaker 1: you just said you're real age. You don't look 40. Wow.
- 59:48Speaker 1: I did.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Wow.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Oh, shit. We're still recording. God damn it. Including it, too.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Can't teach an old dog new tricks. All right, guys. Well,
- 59:59Speaker 1: that's our episode. And we'll talk to you next Friday.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I hope you enjoyed this episode and you all have
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: a good week. All right. Bye. Bye, everyone.
