SPEAKER_00: Let's open up in prayer.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_00: Blessed be the God and Father of your Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed you with every spiritual blessing and the heavenly places in Christ.
• 0:36
SPEAKER_00: Just as he chose you and him before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestined you to adoption as our son or daughter by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, which he purposed in himself, to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he made you accepted and beloved.
• 0:53
SPEAKER_00: In him ye have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace which he made to abound towards you in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to you the mystery of his will, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in him.
• 1:11
SPEAKER_00: I ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, and the knowledge of the mystery of him, and to the deepest knowledge of him that you are willing and able to receive, that the eyes of your understanding would be open wider, and that you would be enlightened to who he is, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in you, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards you, who believe according to the working of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in heavenly places, that he would grant that you would be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man, and into your spirit and heart, consistently walking in the spirit, so that you would be able to stand against the appetites of your flesh, the corrupted spirit of this world, the devil and his demons, and any in all fleshly desires and temptations.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: I pray that your love may abound more and more in all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be real about your Christianity, and unoffendable until the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control, which are by Jesus Christ to the Holy Spirit to the glory and praise of God.
• 2:20
SPEAKER_00: I ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will and all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints, who walk by the Spirit and in the light.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: I pray that your hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love and unity, and that you would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which has been given to each of my listeners by Christ Jesus, that you are enriched in everything by him, in all utterance and all knowledge, so that you do not come short in obtaining or operating in your calling and purpose, nor in using any spiritual gifts or talents to perform mighty miracle signs and wonders, and that we would do the greater works of Jesus yet to be accomplished, that we would be found eagerly waiting for the continued revelation of our Lord Jesus, who will confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the near coming of the day of our Lord.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_00: God is faithful by whom you are called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so now therefore, my sisters and brothers in Christ, when things get tough, think about whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and whatever things are of a good report.
• 3:31
SPEAKER_00: If there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things alone.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_00: I pray that in these very end of end time days that you would let your love be without hypocrisy.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_00: Show people your faith by your works and service and love, hate and loathe what is evil, cling to what is good and righteous, be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor, giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent and fully engulfed in spiritual fire, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, walking in the peace of God, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, that is each other, and that you would be given the hospitality.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus, that we learn to be of one mind and one spirit, striving to get along no matter what disagreements we may encounter, operating completely and fully in love, always striving for the working out of God's specific will for each of our lives, while working in partnership with each other within the church and the Holy Spirit, as He manifests His miracle signs and wonders through the daily activities of our ministry and kingdom work, and while we also go out preaching the gospel in the word indeed.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_00: Let us love and serve one another, our enemy, and those who wouldn't expect us to do so, considering each person better than ourselves.
• 4:41
SPEAKER_00: Bind up any words or thoughts that are contrary to the love of God, or which would set you back in your Christian walk.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_00: Guard your hearts from anything that would hinder the growth of your character.
• 4:49
SPEAKER_00: Never forget that you can do all things in Christ, and never forget this means all things.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_00: Step out of faith today and walk with God and with each other, being assured that nothing will separate you from Him as long as you abide in Him.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_00: Call those things that don't exist as though they do.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_00: Remember the faith of God of which we have created the universe by the Rama and Logos Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of the things that are visible.
• 5:11
SPEAKER_00: All that you need for this life is invisible until you apply your faith to receive it, but make sure you make your requests known to God without fear, doubting, or unbelief.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_00: Always remember that he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.
• 5:23
SPEAKER_00: Be more than a conqueror today, submitting to the will of God and everything.
• 5:26
SPEAKER_00: Never forget that you can do all things through Christ who will strengthen you this very today.
• 5:31
SPEAKER_00: Let each of us express uncompromising love towards one another in humility while maintaining a teachable spirit, seeking to grow, no matter how much it challenges our current thinking.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: I pray that God would give you the revelation within this message that He intends you to receive with the understanding.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.
• 5:57
SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' name we pray amen.
• 5:59
SPEAKER_00: The title of this message is The Difference Between the First and Second Resurrection.
• 6:04
SPEAKER_00: The next three or four messages will be based on differences.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_00: What are the differences between specific end time events?
• 6:11
SPEAKER_00: Since we are told more than thirty times to be watching, we might want to know when prophetic scriptures occur so that we know the time of his visitation, know them more accurately, the time of his return within reason.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_00: These next three or four messages will not be long, but packed with spiritual clarity.
• 6:27
SPEAKER_00: We will lightly touch on the first and second judgment, as all of the first and second messages are somewhat related, so it cannot be helped that we will see parts of one in another part of another.
• 6:37
SPEAKER_00: I will be doing a further message on the two or three judgments in a future message.
• 6:41
  SPEAKER_00: Let's get it.
• 6:42
SPEAKER_00: I asked the eye when the first resurrection occurs, will it be occurring at the time of the rapture?
• 6:47
  SPEAKER_00: It's stated the following.
• 6:48
SPEAKER_00: Views among Christians differ, but many traditions teach that the resurrection of believers who have died occurs at the exact same time as the rapture.
• 6:56
SPEAKER_00: The connection between the rapture and the resurrection happening together.
• 6:59
SPEAKER_00: Passages like 1 Thessalonians four, sixteen through seventeen state that Jesus will descend, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then living believers will be caught up together with them.
• 7:10
SPEAKER_00: Let's look at the whole scripture.
• 7:15
SPEAKER_00: For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with a trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_00: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.
• 7:32
SPEAKER_00: Two key components is that we will go to him.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_00: He will not be returning to earth at this time of the first resurrection.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_00: The other thing is that he states, we shall always be with the Lord.
• 7:42
SPEAKER_00: Right then at the rapture and resurrection, we will be with him always.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: The first resurrection is not talking about Jesus, though technically he was the first and only to be resurrected and still living.
• 7:53
SPEAKER_00: This is what separates him from all other false gods and beliefs about those who falsely claim that they were the Savior of the world.
• 8:01
SPEAKER_00: They died and stayed dead.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_00: So in essence, they couldn't save themselves.
• 8:05
SPEAKER_00: So how are they going to save us, right?
• 8:07
SPEAKER_00: Jesus did not die and stay dead.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_00: And we have over 500 witnesses to this account.
• 8:12
  SPEAKER_00: 1 Corinthians 15, 6.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_00: The first resurrection, Revelation 26 describes the first resurrection as a raising of the righteous.
• 8:21
SPEAKER_00: Many teachers view this group as including the church age believers during the rapture, as I do as well, because it can be scripturally supported.
• 8:28
  SPEAKER_00: Revelation 26.
• 8:30
SPEAKER_00: Blessed and holy is he who is part in the first resurrection.
• 8:33
SPEAKER_00: Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_00: So you see, we will be being trained during our stay in heaven to rule and reign with Christ after the first resurrection.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: After the first resurrection slash rapture of the church, the trumpet and bold judgments of God kick off the seven year tribulation.
• 8:55
SPEAKER_00: We who have been raptured and resurrected will be being judged for our righteous works.
• 9:00
SPEAKER_00: It is the first of two judgments.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_00: Now the first resurrection is the bodily resurrection of believers to eternal life, occurring at Christ's return.
• 9:09
SPEAKER_00: This is not his final return, nor does he touch earth, as stated again in the following scripture.
• 9:17
SPEAKER_00: For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will raise first.
• 9:25
SPEAKER_00: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_00: The second resurrection is the resurrection of the unrighteous occurring more than a thousand years later to face final judgment and the second death.
• 9:43
SPEAKER_00: The distinct features of both the first and second resurrection events are as follows The first resurrection, who was raised?
• 9:50
SPEAKER_00: Believers and martyrs who belong to Christ.
• 9:52
SPEAKER_00: Timing at the second coming of Jesus initiating the millennial reign, often associated with the rapture.
• 9:58
SPEAKER_00: Now this is not going to initiate the millennial reign because the earth will be going through the seven year tribulation event.
• 10:04
SPEAKER_00: I believe this assessment assumed that everyone's going to be going through the tribulation event, which is clearly disproven in the Bible.
• 10:11
SPEAKER_00: My message titled Velasa Rapture talks more about this in detail.
• 10:15
SPEAKER_00: I have done additional messages on the rapture, and you can find them in my podcast library for more information.
• 10:21
  SPEAKER_00: Back to the definition.
• 10:23
  SPEAKER_00: Outcome.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_00: Participants receive glorified bodies, are judged favorably, and will not be subject to the second death, eternal separation from God.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_00: Scriptural reference described in Revelation twenty, four through six as a blessing.
• 10:37
SPEAKER_00: And I saw thrones, and they sat on them and judgment was committed to them.
• 10:41
SPEAKER_00: Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands, and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years, but the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.
• 10:59
SPEAKER_00: This is the first resurrection.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_00: Blessed and holy is he who is part in the first resurrection, over such the second death has no power.
• 11:07
SPEAKER_00: But they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_00: The second resurrection, who was raised?
• 11:14
SPEAKER_00: The unbelievers and the wicked, whose names are not found in the book of life.
• 11:18
SPEAKER_00: Let's explore that statement for clarity.
• 11:21
SPEAKER_00: The primary scripture that supports this statement is Revelation twenty, twelve through fifteen.
• 11:26
SPEAKER_00: This passage describes the great white throne judgment, where the dead are resurrected to face final judgment.
• 11:32
SPEAKER_00: More on this event in a future message.
• 11:34
SPEAKER_00: And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.
• 11:40
SPEAKER_00: Another book was opened, which is the book of life.
• 11:42
SPEAKER_00: The sea gave up the dead and were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.
• 11:51
SPEAKER_00: Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_00: Supporting cross references, John 5, 28 through 29, Jesus explicitly teaches that the wicked will be raised to face judgment, calling it the resurrection of condemnation or judgment.
• 12:08
SPEAKER_00: Revelation 21, eight and twenty one, verse twenty-seven clarifies exactly who these people are, explicitly naming the unbelieving, the vile, and the wicked, while stating that only those written in the Lamb's Book of Life will enter the new Jerusalem.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_00: Daniel twelve two, an old testament parallel stating that when the dead awake, some will rise to everlasting life, and others to shame and everlasting contempt.
• 12:34
SPEAKER_00: Jesus is your book of life's signature.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_00: Rejecting him means no name and the only book that will matter at that time.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_00: Also again, just as a reminder, look up the scriptures that are simply summarized so that you can gain a fuller picture.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_00: The second judgment timing is after the thousand year millennial reign.
• 12:52
SPEAKER_00: Outcome, the dead are brought before the great white throne judgment, where they are judged according to their deeds and face eternal condemnation.
• 12:59
SPEAKER_00: Yes, again we will discuss the berm and the great white throne judgment in another message.
• 13:04
SPEAKER_00: Suffice to say, the great white throne judgment is not the desired judgment of God that you want to encounter.
• 13:10
  SPEAKER_00: Let's close in prayer.
• 13:11
SPEAKER_00: May the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, so that he may establish your heart blameless in holiness before your God and Father at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_00: Now may the God of peace, the one in whom we call wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, may He Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• 13:34
SPEAKER_00: To our Lord of Lords and our King of Kings, to our high and lifted up great eyed priest, who has once and for all paid the price, that you might see and hear God, may He hear and respond to our prayers.
• 13:43
SPEAKER_00: To our God we stand in pray as He too always lives to make intercession for you, while seated at the right hand of the Father.
• 13:49
SPEAKER_00: May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, the great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you what is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and ever.
• 14:02
SPEAKER_00: Now to him we was able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
• 14:10
SPEAKER_00: To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations.
• 14:13
  SPEAKER_00: Forever and ever, amen.
• 14:15
SPEAKER_00: Well that's it for today.
• 14:16
SPEAKER_00: Remember, it's not what you find wrong or disagree with regarding these messages, but what you can take away from it.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_00: Together we can do more to impact the kingdom than if we work alone.
• 14:24
SPEAKER_00: Let's flip the script and still kill and destroy the works of the enemy and create space for the light of light to shine through into people's lives.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_00: Plant a seed and click on the like and subscribe buttons.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_00: Repost on your social media platforms and help us to make disciples.
• 14:37
SPEAKER_00: Link this message out or teach from it in your Bible study, your life or subgroup.
• 14:41
SPEAKER_00: And yes, even in your church, you can be assured it comes from one call to teach.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_00: And though imperfect, you have the Word of God to use to test everything I say.
• 14:49
SPEAKER_00: Let's build this ministry together.
• 14:50
SPEAKER_00: Thanks to see you next time in Deep Waters.
