- 0:00About Pizza Hut, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Three
- 0:03O Take, where we talk all things Major League Baseball.
- 0:06Here's Kyle Corwin and Nate Reyes.
- 0:10It. All starts right now.
- 0:15Welcome back to the three O take for center by Chinook Cedary
- 0:17this episode 541 to be here's Kyle Korner.
- 0:19I'm here with my Co host Nate Reyes.
- 0:21Nate. Casey, how are we?
- 0:24The second, The second our stream started freaking garage
- 0:31below me opens up. Love that it's beautiful.
- 0:34It's beautiful timing. We need to have have have a
- 0:40dialogue here. These things recently have just
- 0:44been coming to my mind. And so I'll, I'll, I'll post my
- 0:47take on social, get some get some feedback, get some
- 0:51response. My take yesterday slash last
- 0:58night that I'm that I'm working through is that the and I want
- 1:04your thoughts on this the band, the wave people weird weird.
- 1:14Just let people live their. Lives yeah, dude.
- 1:18Like I, if I I don't like it, but I'm not I just I just don't
- 1:23care. I'm just not going to do it when
- 1:24it comes around. That's all.
- 1:28So you're not. You don't.
- 1:29Yell at people for doing it. You don't do the wave when it
- 1:32comes around. Nah, I don't like the wave.
- 1:34Come on. But I don't want, I don't care
- 1:35enough to ban it. I don't get it.
- 1:39What's the point of the wave? What is that?
- 1:42I don't, I mean why not? It's just a wave.
- 1:50Why do people get upset over people raising their hands for
- 1:522.3 seconds every every few minutes?
- 1:55What, Like, what's the big deal? Does it really impede your
- 1:59viewing experience that much? Not you, just the the the pop,
- 2:03the people that are upset with it.
- 2:04The, the band people. Yeah, I don't know.
- 2:09I mean, I guess I, it, it depends.
- 2:14Maybe I feel like it takes 1 instance for you to be like if
- 2:18you're on the fence about it to push you over the edge, you know
- 2:21what I mean? Like if I have nachos in my lap
- 2:23and the idiot next to me wants to stand up during the wave and
- 2:26those nachos come spilling, then I'm I'm anti wave moving
- 2:31forward. You know what I mean?
- 2:32That's my stance based on that one instance.
- 2:36You can't salvage that the wave isn't enjoyable enough to bring
- 2:42back that, you know, to redeem. That's fair, that instance.
- 2:49So maybe that's it's just a large amount of people that have
- 2:51had something spilled on them. I mean, can it really be that
- 2:55many people? I'm I'm thinking not.
- 2:57Here's here's my issue. I think the wave is very sports
- 3:03in in stadium specific. Majority of of baseball stadiums
- 3:08don't work because of the gaps in the outfield.
- 3:12You know, that's where things go wrong.
- 3:16There are some that can pull it off, but Wrigley can be pulled
- 3:21off. You have, you have, you know,
- 3:23the stands and the fans going all the way around.
- 3:26But when you have like stuff going on in center field where
- 3:29it's like the hitter's eye broken up, stuff in the
- 3:32outfield, like it just doesn't work.
- 3:35Football, just a big bowl. Most of the time that works.
- 3:41I think I'm at a point where I'm not.
- 3:44I'm not in the camp of banning it and I'm not, no, no, I'm not
- 3:49in the camp of not doing it. I'll do it.
- 3:51But I've as, as I've gotten older, I mean, I'm on, I'm on
- 3:54the other side of 30 now. The knees.
- 3:56The knees. I'm at the point now where I'll
- 3:59give you the I'll give you the half hearted like maybe even not
- 4:02even 2 hands, maybe just even one hand because I'm holding
- 4:04like a drink or something and I'll even give a little.
- 4:09Sure. But these people like I'm
- 4:12seeing, I'm seeing full blown adults.
- 4:16I mean, we're full blown adults, but I'm talking like that that
- 4:19have have some years under the belt.
- 4:23They are. I just I saw one comment where
- 4:28is somebody said only jerk offs do the wave.
- 4:31I'm like, I'm like, is that really where we're at in
- 4:35society? I can't, I can't crazy that
- 4:38heated about it, but that guy's clearly had some things spilled
- 4:45on him because of the wave. Somebody said the quickest way
- 4:48for a fan base to kill a rally or to start a rally for the
- 4:52opposing team is to start a damn wave cup.
- 4:56Do you all really think we have that much of an impact on a
- 4:59rally that takes place over the course of a full half inning?
- 5:04You don't. You don't.
- 5:05Insane. Insane.
- 5:09All right, Well, I didn't mean to.
- 5:10I didn't want to go too long about that.
- 5:11I just wanted. To is there anything you would
- 5:13want to ban? By the way, if it's not a wave,
- 5:15is there something that you're so against that you would you'd
- 5:18like to start a petition? Well, sort of along along those
- 5:22lines, I, I also put a take out the other day.
- 5:26Well, sort of. I'd put it out a while ago but
- 5:30wanted to get some updated takes.
- 5:31I said there should be a special section of seats of baseball
- 5:34games for fans who think every fly ball is a home run.
- 5:37Oh, good one. I can't.
- 5:39I like that it's a it's a pop fly to the catcher and sure you
- 5:45get the. Yeah, my mom did that.
- 5:49And when we were in in Coors last week, my mom did that.
- 5:52She was excited. She gets a pass.
- 5:54It's a she. Was a yes, it's it's mom, but
- 5:56like she was excited. I was like mom just more often
- 5:58than not, you can watch the outfielder, it'll tell you.
- 6:01But like we were sitting on the first base side.
- 6:03It's a perfect side angle of like, you know?
- 6:06You can see the trajectory. Ma, you've been watching games.
- 6:10I was a little guy. You know, you know, no.
- 6:14I was just kidding. My mom's favorite comment was
- 6:16you're dropping your back shoulder.
- 6:17By the way, if I if I'm in the if I'm in the on deck circle,
- 6:21mom's over there keeping book in her little camping chair and I'm
- 6:26taking dry swings in the non deck circle.
- 6:28You can bet your bottom dollar my back shoulder's dropping no
- 6:33matter what, Ma you. Locked in.
- 6:38Well, Speaking of Speaking of dropping the back shoulder, that
- 6:42was happening a lot this this this weekend in this Yankees
- 6:46Dodgers series, a lot of home runs.
- 6:50Nate, go ahead and just get your take out there juice balls this
- 6:54weekend for prime time. Oh yeah dude, balls were
- 6:58definitely juiced. I'm wondering, you know what,
- 7:04Murray? Murray texted me too.
- 7:06And he's like, oh, this is all good clean fun.
- 7:09Shut up, Murray. It's not OK.
- 7:10I'm having a blast as an impartial party.
- 7:13I'm having a blast watching, watching these games.
- 7:15I'm sure you are. Murray in the chat says glad to
- 7:18see, Glad to see Nate smile after the first two games of the
- 7:20Yankees Dodgers series. How about it?
- 7:24It's been, it's been tough. Yesterday was disgusting.
- 7:29Well, we're going to talk about it, Yeah, but.
- 7:31Yeah, balls are juiced. I mean, there's guys hitting
- 7:34home runs that just. Can we just?
- 7:38What else? What's going on?
- 7:40Can can we? And look, this isn't like, say
- 7:43what you want about, you know, well, you're just trying to
- 7:46start a conspiracy. Can we just acknowledge this?
- 7:49Yes, they've they have literally come out and said that they've
- 7:53used different types of baseballs.
- 7:55May them being Major League Baseball, they being Major
- 7:57League. Baseball.
- 7:58It's been official statements on the record.
- 8:00But can we just acknowledge the simple facts that from a
- 8:06business perspective, from a business point of view, I this
- 8:13has to be one of the easiest decisions for them of all time?
- 8:16Yeah, yeah. Oh, it makes sense the.
- 8:18Yankees are coming to town to take on the Dodgers World Series
- 8:22rematch. Folks working on the baseballs
- 8:26in the lab. Maybe, maybe set aside a special
- 8:29batch for us. Maybe, just possibly.
- 8:32Come on, don't be. Don't be naive.
- 8:34It's easy, easy money. It's not all sunshine and
- 8:38rainbows out there. Well, for the Dodgers, it has
- 8:41been, actually. You mentioned Game 2, 18 to 2.
- 8:49It was so bad that we saw Kike on the bump to close it out and
- 8:56we saw and we saw Shohei take a nap.
- 9:02I did not see this. He dozed.
- 9:03Off sure wasn't just like some meditation bro Dozed off It's
- 9:13fair. Carrying the carrying the
- 9:15league, carrying the league has to take a toll and he's probably
- 9:19probably a little tired, but talk to me about what you've
- 9:22seen out of this World Series rematch to this point.
- 9:26Obviously game three tonight prime time, but with us
- 9:29recording today, we've only gotten two games of the series
- 9:33and. It's all been natural.
- 9:35It's all prime. Time sucks.
- 9:37Friday night Apple TV, Yes had to fork over the 299, get that
- 9:43subscription going again, going to definitely cancel that.
- 9:49Then Fox yesterday on ESPN tonight, everyone, everyone gets
- 9:54some money out of it. But I don't know, man, whatever.
- 10:01Go into your thought before I forget.
- 10:03Go share with me your thoughts on this, this rather heated
- 10:08angle. It's just.
- 10:11Annoying and the bias, like the bias, it's the bias that like
- 10:15it's, it's just very pro Dodger. Like I it's if it's nationally
- 10:22televised, it's it's pro Dodger. And like, I get that this is
- 10:25like the greatest team that's ever been assembled in the
- 10:27history of mankind. And I understand that like
- 10:31everyone else is doomed. Why even bother playing the
- 10:34sport? Just just giving them the trophy
- 10:36now. But like Dontrelle Willis in the
- 10:39booth Friday night for the for the Apple TV, you have Joe Davis
- 10:43who calls all the Dodgers games on Fox yesterday.
- 10:46John Smoltz is obviously a a Yankee hater from his playing
- 10:50days. It's like, Oh my gosh, enough,
- 10:53enough. It's just Dodger all the time.
- 10:57It's just Dodger conversation always all the time, no matter
- 11:01it, it could be a podcast talking about different,
- 11:04different teams. It could be a a broadcast.
- 11:07Calling a different game, it always just, it always has to be
- 11:11brought up and I'm just like, it's annoying to that point for
- 11:15the people that maybe somehow don't believe what you're saying
- 11:20to be true. I, I was digging around for just
- 11:26make sure we had our bases covered for today's episode,
- 11:29make sure I wasn't missing a storyline.
- 11:30So I, I venture over to foxsports.com and on their
- 11:37homepage, I'm scrolling, I'm like, OK, I see some daughter
- 11:40sayings. Let me let me see if I can scoop
- 11:43past some of these. Make sure there's no, you know,
- 11:45sort of minor storylines from the weekend that we wanted to
- 11:48include. Can I let me just read off the
- 11:51list here of of items on their homepage, scrolling down as far
- 11:55as it'll let me before we get to the the ads for the weight loss
- 11:59pills for the seniors at the bottom of the website that you
- 12:02often see. Nice.
- 12:06Starting at the top, we love superstars Aaron Judge, Shohei
- 12:13Otani swap home runs and World Series reunion Gibby meet
- 12:16Freddie Revisited Joe Davis on broadcasting dot dot dot
- 12:21dodgers. Mookie Betts has toe fracture,
- 12:23misses Saturday. Then there's a Wan Soto article
- 12:26next. He's our ace insider Yoshinobu.
- 12:29Excuse me inside Yoshinobu Yamamoto's crucial second.
- 12:33Something, something and something.
- 12:35Dodgers reliever Evan Phillips to undergo Tommy John surgery.
- 12:38Yankees versus Dodgers top questions.
- 12:40What's at stake in this series? And then there's a poll in the
- 12:45middle of the website says what is the greatest MLB franchise of
- 12:47all time? First two options, New York
- 12:49Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers. Next article is Cole Young
- 12:53delivering a walk off for the Mariners and extras after that
- 12:56Yankees Aaron Judge mashes a massive Homer.
- 13:00Next, Max Muncie crushes second home run of the game.
- 13:03Next home run, Max Muncie crushes 200th career home run.
- 13:07Then there's a Randall Grichik 2 run homework video.
- 13:10And then it's Dodgers route. LA scores most runs ever in a
- 13:14game against New York. Gibby.
- 13:16Meet Freddie. Revisit again.
- 13:18Joe Davis on broadcasting caught an epic World Series after that.
- 13:22Then there's a an ad for the NBA playoffs and then Dodgers.
- 13:29Yankees haven't skipped a beat after that 2025 MLBMVP race.
- 13:34Judge Otani lead the way. Oh, and then after that at the
- 13:38bottom, MLB videos. Dodgers Landon Knack talks
- 13:41opportunity early in season and win versus Yankees.
- 13:44And then there's another Randall Grichik video.
- 13:47And then after that, Shohei Otani, Ben Verlander video.
- 13:50Shohei Otani and Los Angeles Dodger struggle at trade
- 13:52deadline. Excuse me?
- 13:54Los Angeles Dodgers struggle and trade deadline targets.
- 13:59And then there's a Bryce Harper clip and then it gets into the
- 14:02ads for the senior citizens weight loss pills.
- 14:05But like, this is this is like, why are you pissing off
- 14:09everybody? There's everybody that's not a
- 14:12Dodgers fan is tired of this. There's just no middle ground.
- 14:16It seems like we we for the longest time, we're like Major
- 14:19League Baseball, promote your stars, like promote Shohei
- 14:22Otani. This is what?
- 14:24And then they're like, oh, promote the Dodgers and Shohei
- 14:28Otani, and that's all they've done.
- 14:31That's all they've done, dude. It's just it's brutal.
- 14:34And like, my thing is, I had to switch it over to the to the
- 14:39other TV yesterday because I wasn't going to listen to that
- 14:42after a while. And Paige and I started watching
- 14:47The Mole. By the way, if you watch that on
- 14:49Netflix, The Mole, it's pretty good.
- 14:52It's pretty good. It's like a little reality
- 14:55competition. We're in that kick right now.
- 14:57Reality competition. Shift, I know you've recommended
- 15:00one or two to me. We're in that we were actually
- 15:02just talking yesterday. We we're going to have to ramp
- 15:05or dial back this this streaming stuff man it's getting.
- 15:08Out we just did. It's getting out of hand.
- 15:10We need to audit what we're, what we're signed up to.
- 15:14It's it's out of control. We just did.
- 15:16We're down to. Well, to be fair, we have a lot
- 15:19of generous family members that are willing to share passwords,
- 15:21but we're just down to Netflix. That's it.
- 15:23That's all we got Netflix, Spotify and I do donate to
- 15:28Planet Fitness once a month as well.
- 15:32So that's it pretty good pretty proud of that.
- 15:36That's which is still expensive when you each have one of those,
- 15:40you know, still like 60-70 bucks Anyway, It's, it's just like
- 15:49the, it's like the backstories of, of players that you can very
- 15:56much tell that like Dontrelle Willis and Joe Davis know so
- 16:01much more about the Dodgers that like it's 80% of the broadcast
- 16:07is like back story on this player.
- 16:09Hey, did you know Freddie Freeman has a little kid and
- 16:12he's really good at baseball? Like enough enough, like enough.
- 16:18We don't have to have a deep dive into every freaking player
- 16:22on their roster, dude. Like just cover the game.
- 16:25Respectfully, Nate, what? What do you want him to talk
- 16:28about when it's 18 to 2? It's not that it's literally
- 16:33from from jump dude. It's from jump Street that
- 16:36they're talking about stupid, meaningless stories.
- 16:40And it's like it's so obvious that these guys are talking
- 16:45about a team that they cover and they're talking about stories
- 16:49that like no one cares about except Dodger fans.
- 16:53And it's weird that like it has to be so that and then the only
- 16:59player that we're going to talk about is Aaron Judge and oh, did
- 17:02you know Cody Bellinger used to be a Dodger And like, hey, Will
- 17:06Warren's been one of the hottest pitchers in baseball up until
- 17:09this start. So even like when they talk
- 17:11about Yankee players, it's like a it's like a slight to build up
- 17:15Dodgers performance, you know what I mean?
- 17:18Like, hold on, hold on, hold on. You, you know.
- 17:21How has not been the hottest pitcher in baseball recently?
- 17:24Stop with that. Do you know how I feel about
- 17:27this? And you already acknowledged
- 17:28you. You beat me to the punch.
- 17:30I Nobody feels bad for feel bad. Yeah, like nobody's going to
- 17:35feel bad for the Yankees or Yankees fans less about when it
- 17:38comes to bias. Yeah, it's less about that.
- 17:41I'm talking specifically in the booth outside of a few years ago
- 17:46when when ESPN painfully, painfully failed at the Manning
- 17:51cast with Michael K and a rod there, there's no other guys
- 17:56like you. You're going to have you're
- 17:58going to have David Cone on tonight's broadcast, who I would
- 18:03argue is like I one of my favorite color guys in the
- 18:11entire game. That guy is spot on with
- 18:14covering pitching and talking about all that stuff.
- 18:17And you'll never hear any type of bias out of anything that he
- 18:21says. And even then he was a met, he
- 18:23was a royal like he he bounced around.
- 18:25But all I'm saying is that it's just like, it's so heavy on the
- 18:29pro Dodger stuff. And what makes you think that
- 18:32you're going to hear anything different tonight on ESPN that
- 18:34you haven't heard the last two nights?
- 18:36What story is Carl Ravitch going to pull out of his butt that you
- 18:40didn't hear over the last two days?
- 18:42Nothing. Everything is just been shoved
- 18:45down your throat. I get it.
- 18:48But but look, I think in the years that we've we've done this
- 18:52podcast, we've gotten better at at trying to look at things
- 18:55through a business lens and understanding like why some of
- 18:58these things happen. And if you look at what majorly
- 19:02all the all of what we've talked about, if you look at what made
- 19:04if, if you look at the choice they've been given, like should
- 19:07we just ram this Dodger stuff down people's throats, build
- 19:11them up to be this immovable object that people just grow to
- 19:15hate, grow to talk about more grow to talk about on a podcast?
- 19:20Are they going to do that or are they just going to choose to to
- 19:23leave it alone? Like it it that from that point
- 19:26of view, it makes sense. Like the Yankees aren't what
- 19:28they used to be in the nineties, 2000s.
- 19:31And they've the Major League Baseball has been blessed with
- 19:34this, this cash cow that is the Dodgers.
- 19:39And they're they're milking it for everything it's worth, pun
- 19:42intended. And I, I don't think we're going
- 19:46to be able be able to escape that for as long as they're
- 19:49good, which based on their roster construction is going to
- 19:51be for a very, very long time. I hear you.
- 19:54I'm on like a very weird silver lining, I guess out of this
- 19:59series. No matter how tonight goes, I'm
- 20:02on the side of like, I I feel like this is probably the best
- 20:06thing that could have happened to the Yankees.
- 20:09To get to get embarrassed yet again.
- 20:11And they're like almost light a fire under Brian Cashman and be
- 20:14like, you know, this team's not deep enough to hang.
- 20:19Like, yes, you filled holes during the offseason and yes,
- 20:22you pivoted well from Soto. But like, this team isn't deep
- 20:26enough. DJ Lemahieu's got to retire.
- 20:30It's it's done that it has to end.
- 20:34That has to end. They need another infielder that
- 20:38they need more pitching like it's the embarrassment of this
- 20:43series. Hopefully gets some movement of
- 20:46like, all right, let's just go have a very productive deadline
- 20:52and and try to fill this hole. Because like you're looking at a
- 20:56team who, by the way, if you haven't heard, has the most
- 20:58pitchers of all time on the IL and the most money ever on the
- 21:02IL and they're still, they're still doing this.
- 21:06If you can't hang with a team that's decimated that way, then
- 21:09it just shows you that you're not deep enough.
- 21:10So I hope that there's some type of more fuel to the fire, I
- 21:16guess more motivation on all fronts to show that the team
- 21:20needs to be better and it needs to be better assembled and we
- 21:24got to be deeper. I knew.
- 21:27I'm glad you I was. Out for a silver lining I'm.
- 21:28Glad you, I'm glad you said what you said because I, I feel like
- 21:31I need to use this as an opportunity to let people know
- 21:34maybe who just started listening to us, maybe listen to us for
- 21:38listening to us for the first time.
- 21:41Nate and I agree on a on a good bit.
- 21:43We come from like similar baseball backgrounds, but there
- 21:47are certain things that we don't agree on.
- 21:49And this is one of those things that I'm not, I'm not sitting
- 21:52here like, yeah, what Nate said, what I'm just giving him the,
- 21:56the floor to share his thoughts and I'm, I'm listening.
- 21:59So if, if you're sitting here going, wow, these guys, both of
- 22:02these guys just hate the Dodgers.
- 22:03No, one of these guys is a Yankees fan and who is just very
- 22:07butthurt, very butthurt about what's going on this weekend.
- 22:11And the other guy is just sitting here loving every minute
- 22:14of it. So I said what I said about
- 22:18like, I agree with you that I think I think the Dodgers
- 22:20discourse, understandably so, has has sort of gotten a little
- 22:27bit out of control. But in the same at the same time
- 22:31I understand from a business point of view like why?
- 22:34Why you would easily like? That Do you want to talk about
- 22:38something that we've never talked about before?
- 22:40That is a new topic and it falls under the Dodger category, but
- 22:43it is more baseball thing. Do you see what Kiki was
- 22:46wearing? We've talked about this.
- 22:48I've never seen that before. The helmet.
- 22:51No. This was like 1/2 helmet.
- 22:53Or yeah, the hat, the half helmet.
- 22:55Yeah, it's. Like seen the half one before?
- 22:57Yeah, he he had. Seen the one that goes inside
- 22:59the hat? I've seen the skull cap.
- 23:01No, but I've never seen this one before.
- 23:03Yeah, he wore the, he had a, he had a, an appearance on the bump
- 23:07earlier this year and he wore that same thing.
- 23:09It's got like the like the hard hat like snap adjustment thing
- 23:14on the back where it's kind of cool, but.
- 23:16Yeah, it's it's definitely a key K thing for sure.
- 23:18Like nobody else in baseball was probably doing that.
- 23:20I thought it was smart, honestly.
- 23:22Yeah, like, I mean it, it's already kind of a gimmick, the
- 23:25fact that he's out there anyway, so like, why not?
- 23:28Who cares if you look stupid? Like at least protect your
- 23:31noggin while you're lobbing it in there at 72.
- 23:34Which? Which?
- 23:35By the way, DJ Lemayhew. Is not ever getting another.
- 23:40Oh, is he like? Brother, you can't just throw BP
- 23:42like either go really slow and then surprise someone with like
- 23:4685, but you can't throw like 78 down the middle like that's
- 23:51that's literally BP. You're just throwing BP.
- 23:55Yeah, don't like that. I don't even know what I was
- 24:00saying. TK or something around TK No DJ.
- 24:05Oh yeah, you said. He says just lobbing it in
- 24:09there. I I did happen to see the the
- 24:12the at bat with DJ Lemahieu just flailing.
- 24:16Yeah, bro is. Like, come on man, it's Kiki
- 24:19lost. What are we doing anyway?
- 24:22You know who's not lost? Washington Nationals holy first
- 24:28inning Saturday night. They put up 9 before the first
- 24:34out had even been recorded and I just got to say something.
- 24:37Ten overall in the first right. 10 in the first, yeah, I got to
- 24:41say something. The the which I'm going to put
- 24:46this on you. We've kind of gotten away from
- 24:48the grading, the broadcast thing.
- 24:51Was it bad? I feel like you've left me
- 24:53hanging the last couple Sundays or Mondays.
- 24:57I yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It is on me.
- 25:01I thought. I thought we.
- 25:02Said on the on the call that you've that you heard on Friday
- 25:05though. I don't know if that was ever
- 25:08finalized, so maybe it's partially on on me as well.
- 25:10That's mostly on me. That's OK.
- 25:13Yeah, I'll take some of the money.
- 25:14I'll take some of the blame. You won't find it.
- 25:18That's a good one, sure. Well, I don't.
- 25:21It's hard. I can't listen to it so I would
- 25:24just be guessing that the clip that I'm pulling up, so I'm not
- 25:27really sure. I believe in your skills.
- 25:30But no, the if, if really what I'm trying to say here is if you
- 25:37have an inning where you put up nine runs before the first out
- 25:42has been recorded by the by the time you get to run like 789, I
- 25:48need you assuming they have the awareness to know that an out
- 25:53has not been recorded. I need, I'm going to need some
- 25:57juice from you, but I'm sitting there listening to the game.
- 26:01Who's calling it? It's what he's retiring this
- 26:05year. I I hear him all the time being
- 26:07out here near DC Bob Carpenter, I believe.
- 26:12The Nats broadcast. Yeah, Bob Carpenter, bro by run
- 26:18789 was commentating and I don't have anything against him like
- 26:22he he calls, he calls a quality game.
- 26:24I've listened to him for years out here, but I'm like you don't
- 26:29get this everyday, Bob, especially the nationals of all
- 26:32teams by run 789. He's calling it as if it's like
- 26:36an RBI double in like the 4th of a of a nine to four-game or
- 26:45something. I'm like, I need you out of your
- 26:47chair, Bob. It's.
- 26:49Too bad. Give me a little bit more juice
- 26:52because the they were just rolling the line up over.
- 26:56I mean it was single here, double here, wall scraper there.
- 27:03I feel like the how do I say this correctly the older
- 27:11generation of broadcasters that have been like doing it for the
- 27:15same team for like 20-30 years. I feel like majority of them
- 27:24suck. OK, I'm not I'm not saying that
- 27:28I literally just got done saying I want it on record.
- 27:31I have no, no real issue with with Bob Carpenter.
- 27:35He's called a great game. I'm just, I'm just saying when
- 27:39you got, when you have a feat unfolding before you such as
- 27:44this, like just, I'm going to need a little bit more juice,
- 27:47you know? I think there is going to be
- 27:49like this new wave of broadcasters that are going to
- 27:52start coming in that I think are good.
- 27:55And I, I think it's like these like, let's face it,
- 27:59millennials, we're a good generation.
- 28:02There's millennials that are like on, on the like, on the
- 28:06side of the dugout doing like the, the like on field type
- 28:10stuff and like in game interviews and like Ghost.
- 28:12I feel like the that crowd, if you take out like Bus Roni and
- 28:16like Ken Rosenthal, like that crowd of like local, your your
- 28:22team network broadcast, people are going to start moving into
- 28:27the booth and they're going to bring a little juice.
- 28:29They're going to bring a little fire.
- 28:30They're going to bring a little little energy, going to bring a
- 28:34little more irrelevant updated lingo, if you will.
- 28:42Sure. But yeah, I I would Perfect,
- 28:47perfect. Example to I mean by suicide,
- 28:50Mike Monaco, who calls an occasional game for the Red Sox.
- 28:54He also does work for I think ESPN and and some like college
- 28:58stuff throughout the year. He's literally he's literally
- 29:0132. Millennial baby.
- 29:03May 4, May 14th, 1993. Pull up some of his clips.
- 29:09Incredible. Yeah.
- 29:10Just the the perfect energy that I feel like you're looking.
- 29:13That's what I'm saying. Like Ryan Ruko, I've talked
- 29:15about him before, kind of a guy who like occasionally did a
- 29:18Yankees game and I think he's like super WNBA now, but he's
- 29:25really good in the booth. Like it's guys like that that
- 29:28are like in their 30s, early 40s, still kind of cracking into
- 29:32the millennial like. Yeah, but then, but then they're
- 29:35going to get to a point where they're going to be a little bit
- 29:38old and. Grey And we're about to carry
- 29:41it. We're about to step in.
- 29:42These old these old heads had got to move on.
- 29:44No, but I'm saying eventually our these, the guys that you're
- 29:48talking about are eventually going to be those guys and then
- 29:51it's going to be like, all right, it's time, time to.
- 29:53I think we're built different. I think we're a solid hybrid
- 29:56that we have. We have the exposure to both
- 30:00youth, the youths and the old stuff, you know.
- 30:07That is true. I mean, not to get like super,
- 30:10not to get super meta here, but like in terms.
- 30:14Played outside as kids. Played outside but also were
- 30:17prime age for like that technology crossover into this.
- 30:21Yes. Technological age, so that's.
- 30:24We're not left behind. I know what's going on with my
- 30:25phone. That's a good point.
- 30:28I don't know the skippity toilet stuff but like, I don't.
- 30:30Think you don't need to do that on broadcast anyway?
- 30:32You don't need to know that, right?
- 30:35Skibity, Ohio toilet. I can drop a mid in there.
- 30:42I know what that means, you know, So we're right there.
- 30:49We got a feet in both camps. That's what I'm saying, and it's
- 30:52we. Got a foot in both camps.
- 30:53Yep, we got a. We got.
- 30:55A feet we have feet we got a feet we.
- 30:57Got a feet in both camps. I didn't.
- 30:58Say a feet, I said. We have feet.
- 31:01We have feet in both camps. Speaking of manically, I feel
- 31:04like that works. Speaking of feet, the Nationals
- 31:07had feet on all the bases all night really.
- 31:11And what's crazy is about the the the D backs almost came came
- 31:15back to win the game. I was rooting for that so hard.
- 31:17Not that I have anything against the Nationals, obviously
- 31:20hometown club and all that, but I'm like how crazy would have
- 31:25been if you put up 10 in the 1st 9 before the 1st outs recorded
- 31:29and then come back and lose the game.
- 31:30I was, I was rooting for that hard because I'm just a sicko
- 31:33like that. But.
- 31:34It'd be nice if I could just watch these games.
- 31:37But some thanks. A lot MLBTV.
- 31:39Some nugs from that from that first city.
- 31:42Washington's nine runs with a second most scored before a
- 31:44first out of the game in the expansion era, AKA since 1961.
- 31:49Red Sox hold that record with ten runs on June 27th, 2003.
- 31:54And then Nationalists tied tied the NL record.
- 31:56I said Nuggets, plural. The Nationals tied the NL record
- 32:00with nine runs before the first out not done since the Phillies
- 32:03on August 13th, 19. 48 Let's talk about our boy PFAT I I
- 32:09think he was tipping. When you give up six hits, eight
- 32:16earned, no walks, you're not even like putting these guys on
- 32:21and getting getting in trouble because of your own stuff like
- 32:24this is just getting, I think someone had something on you.
- 32:28I think you're tipping. Yeah, I mean, it's it's
- 32:32certainly possible, but you know how baseball gets man.
- 32:34Sometimes things are just clicking up and down the line
- 32:38went to we don't need to do that.
- 32:40We don't need to do that to our poor, our poor guy.
- 32:42Five O 5. I would expect it worse after
- 32:47that. Think he only dropped like a -.
- 32:5125 in fantasy so it could have been worse.
- 32:56By the way, for those keeping track at home, Nats have won
- 32:59eight of their last 10. So look out for the Nats I
- 33:02guess. Bro where are the Nats?
- 33:07They can hit man it's been a minute.
- 33:08Nats are in 3rd place. They can hit.
- 33:11I told you Nats are in 3rd place.
- 33:13I've been. I've been feeling good about
- 33:15them. Bro, when we did the episode
- 33:17before the season started where it was like guys under 25 to
- 33:21count like to sort of keep an eye on in 2025, we had James
- 33:25Wood on there. Dylan Cruz has been a little bit
- 33:28of a disappointment, CJ. Abrams looks like he's locked,
- 33:33like he's like he's. Figured it out.
- 33:34Stuff has been like, OK, I've been reprimanded enough for my
- 33:38actions, I'm here. You're just trying to build a
- 33:41case to trade him. In fantasy, it's not.
- 33:43Already traded him, already got already got my goods.
- 33:46No. But in terms of the youth across
- 33:48the board and I've, I youths, the youths I've been saying
- 33:52this, the Nats have pieces. It's always just been a matter
- 33:58of like, can you string something together long enough,
- 34:01consistently enough to do something with it.
- 34:03And like I said at 1:00, when I say 9 out eight out of the last
- 34:0910, they've won four in a row. They're only two games back of
- 34:12500 and they're 5 back in the wild card.
- 34:14I'm not putting them in the post season, just just based on like
- 34:18a week or two, but. Me neither.
- 34:20But you're not going to go to DC and roll over them.
- 34:23You know what I mean? Like you're you're not going to
- 34:25dominate when you go there. You're going to get a
- 34:27competitive ball club and they're swinging it right now.
- 34:31And you talked about Nathaniel Lowe, like slow start.
- 34:37Let's be honest, he looks a little chubbier than he said
- 34:39that. Last time, you don't need to.
- 34:40You don't need to include that every time we talk about dude.
- 34:43It's a part, it's a part of it, it's a part of it.
- 34:45But I think he's he's going to be on the block.
- 34:48And this is what I'm saying. This type of offseason these
- 34:53middle teams should have is like, let's get some vets in
- 34:56here. Can chew up babies, chew up
- 34:59innings. If we're at a point where we can
- 35:01get some value out of them and sell them at the deadline, then
- 35:05we should. This is a perfect.
- 35:07Example of that? Hold on, going back to this, am
- 35:11am I missing something? There's utes Utes is that what?
- 35:17Is that slang that I'm unfamiliar with?
- 35:19I'm not familiar with it either utes I'm I'm quoting New Girl.
- 35:25I trust me, I got you. Oh sure.
- 35:29Yep Utes is a slang term for young people, often with a
- 35:31slight negative connotation. I was thinking like Utah Utes.
- 35:38You know, glad we glad we addressed this.
- 35:40See Utah. Yep, I got you the Yeah.
- 35:45Shout out to the Nats. Shout out to the Battle of the
- 35:49Mid yesterday between the OS and the White Sox.
- 35:53Nice. Stay young, pal.
- 35:57Bench is cleared. I I.
- 36:02Watched it dude what did what? Are we doing Kobe Mayo?
- 36:07That was. Who are you selling that to?
- 36:10Nobody's buying that. This is what I've been saying.
- 36:13About the OS dude like these young kids have like like I
- 36:17don't know what it is the all the all the copy paste guys seem
- 36:22to have like this like. Victim like.
- 36:28If something happens where there's a little bit of contact,
- 36:33it's like ready to throw down and I'm like it.
- 36:38And then this you're initiating it and then trying to be like,
- 36:41whoa, dude, and then push away. No, I don't like it.
- 36:44I don't like it. I'm out on the US.
- 36:46They're yeah, it's. Now, it's less about the like
- 36:50victim mentality in this particular scenario.
- 36:53And if you don't know what we're talking about, Kobe Mayo, there
- 36:56was a ball hit. I think he had like a, it was
- 36:59like an RBI single to the left center or something.
- 37:02Ball gets thrown in, he gets caught in the middle.
- 37:05A little bit of a rundown little.
- 37:07Bit of a rundown between first. And 2nd.
- 37:09And then who was it? It was Josh Rojas, third
- 37:15baseman. Gets.
- 37:19Yeah, a little bit of a rundown or no.
- 37:21Len Lenin, Sosa, there you go. Gets Mayo in a in a in a pickle
- 37:28and Kobe Mayo just lunges. And I'm not talking about like.
- 37:34Goes a little bit out of his way, like full on lunges arms
- 37:38like basically extended. Trying to trying to catch.
- 37:44An interference call gets tagged out, Gets.
- 37:49Up tries to. Make a little bit of an issue
- 37:51because I guess it was Sosa that came over and was like, bro,
- 37:56what was that? And and then Kobe Mayo gets up,
- 37:58shoves him and he's like, so I was like, no, we're not doing
- 38:01this. Bench is clear.
- 38:03Bullpens empty. The the whole the whole charade.
- 38:07It's less about it's going back to what I was saying less about
- 38:10me now in the chat. He was trying to get an
- 38:12interference call. Laura said smart baseball.
- 38:15I was not smart. That was not I get what you're
- 38:17doing, but the execution was pathetic.
- 38:20That was a terrible attempt of trying to obtain an interference
- 38:25call. You got to be, you got to be a
- 38:27little smoother than that. I, I understand what he's trying
- 38:29to do, but you got to be a little bit better than that.
- 38:31And what I was trying to say. Oh boy.
- 39:11Kyle. Kyle.
- 39:13Kyle. Kyle disappeared.
- 39:25Kyle's gone. Maybe I'm.
- 39:29Just running the show. Now maybe it's just me.
- 39:34You guys still hear me? Am I still here?
- 39:37Am I still doing this thing? Well, let's see what happens.
- 39:54Let's see what happens. What happened, guy?
- 39:58Where'd you go? What do we want to talk about
- 40:04now, guys? This is my show now.
- 40:09Let's see, I'm out on benches clearing.
- 40:12I'm fully out on that. I I have said that before.
- 40:17I think it's pretty soft. I think that the.
- 40:21Bullpens running out is. Always sad.
- 40:23It's always weird and like if you hear the guys talk about it
- 40:28like off, like afterwards, like interviews and stuff, they're
- 40:32always like you can't not go. Like if you're a guy in the
- 40:36bullpen or if you're a guy in the clubhouse, you're like a
- 40:38bench roll or whatever. Like you have to go, you have to
- 40:41run out there. So it's like weird.
- 40:45It's a weird thing. I don't love the fact that.
- 40:50You just have to show. Up and then it's always like the
- 40:55people that have the issue, like the guys that are like the two
- 40:59that are typically in like the the nucleus of the of the
- 41:03interaction like to get louder after their teammates show up.
- 41:08And then there's like this like hiding behind your Bros kind of
- 41:11like, I don't know, it's like it's just soft back in the day.
- 41:14It like punches are getting thrown immediately.
- 41:18Like if you got an issue, let's get after it you know now.
- 41:24I don't know, it just seems. Kind of weak, very soft.
- 41:29But going off of what I was saying with the Orioles, like I.
- 41:34It's just a weird. Dynamic over there, man.
- 41:38Like it's like. I don't know if they if.
- 41:42They're having fun. I don't it seems like obviously
- 41:45they're not having fun. They're losing a ton of ball
- 41:46games, but they they just seem like uptight and then they do
- 41:50weird stuff and it kind of like shows up on the field at times.
- 41:54Look at that little hat right there.
- 41:55By the way, last time I was visiting but I'm.
- 41:59I'm I'm. Sad because I feel like the
- 42:02Orioles being good is like really good for baseball.
- 42:05It's obviously good for the AL, which is having a very down year
- 42:09or so. Like, it's just, it's weird and
- 42:11I don't like it and I want the Orioles to be better, plain and
- 42:15simple. And I like a little edge out of
- 42:18the white. Sox on the on the counter side
- 42:20of things. I think it's the White Sox,
- 42:22right? Is that what you're talking
- 42:23about? Think they're playing them?
- 42:25Yeah, White Sox, I I I'm a fan. I'm a fan of them having a
- 42:31little bit of edge, a little bit of a little fight to him.
- 42:34So it's a good series to show, show what you're made of.
- 42:40You know what I mean? Let me see what the Cardinals or
- 42:42I mean, let me see what the Whitesides got in them.
- 42:46Yeah, that's all I got to say. I can't really.
- 42:49I can't. Really stall much longer.
- 42:51I don't know where a guy is. I have healthy Internet.
- 42:55I don't know what his story is. Dropping 100 and whatever.
- 43:00Dollars a month to make sure that our stream is is consistent
- 43:04for you people, for our fans, for our listeners and Kyle's out
- 43:08here. I don't know, maybe he's just
- 43:10stealing signal off of his neighbors like a bum.
- 43:16Maybe his neighbors got tired of it.
- 43:18Maybe that's the narrative that I want to start.
- 43:22And start that rumor. I don't know, maybe it's bad
- 43:26weather. Any who's what else we cover
- 43:29here, He's the one who's normally running the show on
- 43:32topics. So I just kind of show up in
- 43:34spitball cause daddy don't like to, you know, put together, Hey,
- 43:41what's up? Hey, welcome.
- 43:44We, we, I, I beat that series and and interaction to death.
- 43:50So feel free to move on. You're welcome.
- 43:54Thanks. Also, I started spreading the
- 43:56rumor. That you're stealing your
- 43:57Internet from your neighbor and your neighbor got tired of it.
- 44:01Cut the wine. Do you think that's what
- 44:05happened? I don't know what.
- 44:06Happened, dude. It's been, it's been cutting out
- 44:09multiple times. Love technology, love
- 44:11technology. Things have been going smooth
- 44:14for too long. No, we're back.
- 44:16No, all the last thing I was going to say super fast.
- 44:19It was less going back to this Kobe Mayo thing.
- 44:22It was less about the outcome of the play.
- 44:28Meanwhile, I'm the one with weather over here, man.
- 44:30That's Thunder right there. Holy cow.
- 44:35No, it's less about the outcome of the play, more about a
- 44:37broader conversation about baseball IQ.
- 44:39We've talked about this time and time again recently the the
- 44:43baseball IQ around the league. I just feel like is it is at an
- 44:46all time low like this, like guys just doing things that they
- 44:51teach it not to do in Little League.
- 44:55It's, I don't know, This is yeah.
- 44:58And if we want to go down that path, we can.
- 45:00I think it's just like rushing athleticism to the big leagues,
- 45:04rushing raw talent to the big leagues and.
- 45:07These development. Coaches at the younger levels
- 45:10not having enough time to teach these types of things, and
- 45:15that's why you get like weird, weird plays like this.
- 45:20And that felt to me. Like an NBA flop.
- 45:23It's kind of what it felt like, you know what I mean?
- 45:26Felt like a LeBron flop. So I I did go into the fact that
- 45:33I'm very done with benches clearing.
- 45:35I'm very done with the like rules of like a guy has to be
- 45:39out there. Like if you're in the bullpen,
- 45:41you can't not go, but you have to run out there.
- 45:44I hate that and I hate that the the chirping gets louder after
- 45:48your boys show up. That's the stuff like if you
- 45:50want to get we don't throw down, throw down right now.
- 45:52Let's throw down before anybody gets here and let's get some
- 45:55punches in because that's the way hockey operates.
- 45:57And honestly, respect. I've been in that camp.
- 46:00For a long time, like if we're going to do this, let's do it.
- 46:03Just open it up hot, full blown hockey style.
- 46:06Otherwise, guys, let these guys throw hands.
- 46:13Let's wrap up here. Man's lost all momentum.
- 46:20My, what's tough? Is that I was frozen for a SEC.
- 46:24And then I didn't know if I was frozen.
- 46:26So I'm talking to myself for like 1015 seconds, not sure.
- 46:29And luckily Laura in the chat is like, hey, we're you're here.
- 46:32I hear you. So I was like, OK, well it's
- 46:34good to know in the. Future if if I cut out again
- 46:37that it just I can you're here. You it keeps.
- 46:41Look at me. I'm the captain now.
- 46:46It's Yeah, it's good to know. You can just keep it rolling.
- 46:50Bryce Harper, my sweet Prince. You know, I'm I'm, I'm at a
- 46:55point where I'm getting legitimately concerned here.
- 46:57Dude hasn't play hasn't hasn't played since getting hit the
- 47:01elbow. And I thought this was just
- 47:03going to be like a day-to-day thing, like maybe miss.
- 47:06I thought he was just going to miss that first game of
- 47:07doubleheader and be back at it that night.
- 47:10We're looking at like 5 days. Now dude hasn't played since the
- 47:1320. 5th. That's tough.
- 47:20I wonder if it's going to or, I'm sorry, the 20. 7th But I
- 47:25wonder. If it's going to be 1.
- 47:26Of those things where you just. You give it a couple more days
- 47:30and if. You're still out, you throw them
- 47:31on the 10 day IL and then you can like retroactive it to that
- 47:36date and then you buys you like a few more days to get like a
- 47:40bench roll in like call a guy up, get an extra bullpen on him,
- 47:44like something like that. But it's weird.
- 47:47It's a little nervy. I'm.
- 47:51I'm real nervous about it. Apparently Jordan Alvarez, it's
- 47:55worse than they thought. Has has been dealing with a hand
- 47:58fracture. They thought he was going to be
- 48:00back sooner, but he's been taking swings or was taking
- 48:04swings and it was not not going as anticipated.
- 48:07So bro it's just involved in a pretty.
- 48:09Hefty trade in our league as well so that's interesting.
- 48:15Hate to see that has been has been shut.
- 48:19Down from hitting so not good news there for him or the
- 48:23Astros, but just a minor update there and then lastly here LSU
- 48:30Shreveport have did you hear about this no.
- 48:33It's not. It's not Major League base pro.
- 48:34Related, obviously, but LSU, Shreveport, NAIA.
- 48:40They just finished. Off yesterday I believe a 59 and
- 48:45O season. 59, yeah. 59 and O to catch.
- 48:53It different y'all like that's a you got to like buy your uniform
- 48:57that is a different. Culture right there.
- 49:01NAIA World Series champions 59 and O30 and O in the conference
- 49:06they had eight wins of 15 or more runs nice as a.
- 49:13Team they hit 3. 61 that's absurd.
- 49:17I don't care what level as a team to hit 361 that's
- 49:23disgusting. 238 team ERA opponents only hit 192 against
- 49:28them, and it's the longest winning streak in college
- 49:31baseball history. Shout out to LSU Shreveport.
- 49:35Shout out college baseball, right?
- 49:36Now, by the way, regionals getting like, I love this time
- 49:41of college baseball where it's the regionals getting into super
- 49:43regionals to then qualify for the World Series.
- 49:46Like it's fun because you see you see some teams that are
- 49:50hosting where you don't get that obviously during the World
- 49:54Series and most of the Super regionals, you only get like one
- 49:58team that happens to host and those are electric.
- 50:02It's very fun. If you're if you're feeling a
- 50:05little college baseball, they I would, I would put it on and
- 50:09watch it's straight action all the time.
- 50:12It's good stuff. This is some of the like.
- 50:16Like the OH. Man, this stage of the college
- 50:19baseball season, if you're a fan of just like baseball in its
- 50:23purest form as it was meant to be, like, my goodness, you want
- 50:27to talk energy? You want to talk rowdy crowds?
- 50:30Dude, do you see some of the best players?
- 50:33Weird players, weird players, weird traditions.
- 50:36Like weird weird. What's the word I'm looking for
- 50:41superstitions. Dude it's I was watching 1.
- 50:44Last week. And then kids for North
- 50:45Carolina, they're starters was like they were talking on the
- 50:48broadcast. Apparently he's eaten over 1500
- 50:51PB and JS. I saw that.
- 50:52That's insane. Like yo.
- 50:56That's sick. That's like four or five a day
- 51:00crushing them. I love that stuff.
- 51:02Like by the way. Was not familiar with.
- 51:06Durham until I watched that because that's where that's who
- 51:10was hosting it was it was at Durham that NC, I don't remember
- 51:14who they were playing North Carolina and.
- 51:17In Durham, this would have been the.
- 51:19ACC tournament, Yeah, I think, yeah.
- 51:21Where the Bulls play? Yeah, was it?
- 51:23I don't. Remember who they were playing?
- 51:25Was it UNC and somebody? But that ballpark is sick.
- 51:30Oh yeah dude. Did not know I lived over there
- 51:33when I. When I was living down there,
- 51:35that is a fun. Ballpark to watch a game like
- 51:37just on TV? Ohh that wall in left.
- 51:40Field, that's one of the Yeah, and you got.
- 51:42The bowl up top, if you hit, it's got the whole like hit the
- 51:44bowl, win a stake kind of thing. Yeah, yeah, dude.
- 51:47That's if if you're ever in that Durham area, I highly recommend
- 51:51catch really the city backdrop behind.
- 51:54Oh yeah, ideal. They've got all sorts of all
- 51:58sorts of levels of baseball there.
- 51:59Like they've got college, they've got like the Bananas
- 52:02have played there. I think they've got Team USA
- 52:05stuff there for like the younger like Olympic style teams in that
- 52:10program. It's they some of the best
- 52:12baseball you'll you'll see comes through there.
- 52:15Very cool. A huge fan, yeah.
- 52:18Highly recommend. Getting to a a, a Durham, a game
- 52:21in Durham if you if you got the chance.
- 52:25That's all I got. Anything else that I'm missing?
- 52:30You're a little shaken up, aren't you?
- 52:31You want to try to find this call real quick just.
- 52:35Wing it No. Because with.
- 52:37The way the last few minutes have gone, it's going to be,
- 52:40it's going to, I'm going to find the wrong call.
- 52:45You didn't find out what happened by the.
- 52:46Way your desk didn't light on fire.
- 52:50I'm good. Cool.
- 52:52That's good stuff. I don't.
- 52:54Know man, the internet's just like.
- 52:55Nah, I'm good. Good luck.
- 52:57Internet has left the chat. Cool man.
- 53:01Well, that's. All I got wish me luck tonight
- 53:05I'm going to try and watch this game but I don't know how the
- 53:09doyers going for the. Sweep.
- 53:11I don't know how quickly. I'm going to turn it off.
- 53:14I'm prediction. Let's just have, let's just
- 53:16throw a quick prediction out there.
- 53:18Do they pivot from the juiced baseballs?
- 53:21And do we have like a pitching duel between Yamamoto and
- 53:23Yarborough? Yarborough's been dicing lately,
- 53:27I'm sure, but come on. No disrespect, No look, no
- 53:31disrespect, no disrespect to Ryan Yarborough.
- 53:36That dude, no. Disrespect.
- 53:38I mean, come on. Like if we're if given the
- 53:40choice between like, hey, let's keep the juice balls rolling,
- 53:43let Judge Notani have a field day, or we can let Ryan
- 53:46Yarbrough really take over the national stage, What do you
- 53:49think they're going to go with? I'm just saying, come on, I.
- 53:51Want you got to wonder if they pivot because of how obvious
- 53:55it's been the first two games. I don't think they care, I
- 53:59think. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised
- 54:02if they drop a press release tomorrow first thing tomorrow
- 54:04morning, like hey, hope you guys enjoyed that spectacle because
- 54:08ESP NS like we're about. To top it, we've got more
- 54:11coming. Unbelievable.
- 54:13Anyway. Calling.
- 54:13I'm calling. I'm calling the under.
- 54:17I think it's going to be needs to be a low scoring game.
- 54:20Now I, I. Could see both of them going
- 54:24deep tonight. I'm not going to say like oh
- 54:26guy, like Ohtani's going to have another two Homer game or
- 54:29something like or Judge is going to have another two Homer game
- 54:31or something like that. I'm not going to go that far,
- 54:32but I could see both of them, each each going deep.
- 54:36That's my, that's my prediction. I.
- 54:40Don't love not to be, not to be. Fair it.
- 54:41Could still be low scoring like you said and that could still
- 54:44happen with with those two guys, but I mean hit a.
- 54:50Slow. No man, on 1st inning you know
- 54:54both of them. Hit one, then it's done.
- 54:56Yeah, inconsequential. But it gets the people talking.
- 54:59I want you. I'm going to.
- 55:00Hold on to this receipt just in case Yarborough dices tonight.
- 55:04So I want you to freeze frame that face you made and then I
- 55:07want no disrespect below that one.
- 55:09I I. I don't like this whole I'm.
- 55:12I'm holding her seats. I have nothing else.
- 55:15I have nothing else but. To hold her seats, the.
- 55:19Last two episodes. You've been.
- 55:20You've done nothing but holding her seats and this one's your
- 55:22receipt though. You you you haven't seen
- 55:25receipts with your name on it until now.
- 55:28Whatever I hope I. Hope the Dodgers put up 30 on
- 55:31them. That's all I got.
- 55:33Let's. Let's get out of here, fine.
- 55:36Don't go chasing curveballs. Love you all and as always
- 55:39looking forward to talking. More baseball with you guys
- 55:40soon. Until next time, stay filthy.
