  Watchcnbc.com the latest OK, let's talk about the top

  stories. The Labor Department is out with

  a new proposal to allow crypto and four O 1K plans.

  On Monday, the agency proposed a rule change to allow alternative

  assets and retirement accounts, including real estate, private
• 1:38
  market assets and crypto currencies.

  The labor secretary said in a statement that the move will

  allow plans to consider products that better reflect the
• 1:45
  investment landscape as it exists today.

  The proposal also keeps in line with an executive order signed

  by President Trump in August that directed the Labor

  Department and SEC to expand access to alternative assets.

  Now, experts tell CMC that adoption of these new asset

  classes could be slow, even if the rule.

  Is OK so soon people will be able to buy crypto in their 401

  KS that is like a like 70 million people in the United

  yesterday. Charles Schwab is massive and

  they they're talking about allowing crypto trading on their

  platform within the next few months and and people being able

  to actually hold their crypto on the Schwab platform, similar to

  what I guess you can do with coin base and others.

  And then we have Trump like we just announced Bitcoin and 401K.

  There's also, I think it's Morgan Stanley that's putting

  out a new Bitcoin ETF, which is going to have amongst the lowest

  expense ratio of any of the Bitcoin ETFs out there.

  And they have like 16,000 financial advisors.

  story in the world of crypto. This one comes from a coin

  market cap, but it talks about some news that JP Morgan is

  sharing with us. JP Morgan says crypto flow flows
• 5:15
  fell to 11 billion in Q1. This look, I don't want to focus
• 5:19
  on the negative guys, but this just shows us the environment
• 5:22
  that we've been in with UFD and that what we've accomplished
• 5:26
  over this last year in the face of a very difficult overall
• 5:30
  crypto market is nothing short of spectacular.

  OK, they, they here's the news from coin market cap.

  Total digital asset flows to reach roughly 11 billion in the
• 5:42
  first quarter of 2026, according to estimates from JP Morgan.

  That figure is only about 1/3 of what the sector recorded over
• 5:54
  the same period in 2025. Guys, one third.

  OK. The report led by Managing

  Director, Director Nicholas oh Panagurta Zugaloo estimates that

  the recent queue at the recent Q1 pace flows would would

  annualize to about 44 billion for the full year.

  That is well below 2025's record of 130 billion.

  Well, we'll see how the next nine months plays out, right.

  They're taking that low number from Q1 and and extrapolating

  that to the rest of the year, which would be a significant

  lower amount. But things can change and things

  in crypto can change very quickly.

  But the big take away here from that data is again, the fact

  that we can, we can be very happy.

  word pride, but we can have some pride in what our herd has

  that great stuff, but also in the gold and silver community,

  there's ETFs, there's there's a tokenized gold and silver,

  There's all these other ways. There's mining stocks, right to

  own. It's kind of like what Coinbase

  that is in crypto, right? Like Coinbase look, not

  everybody out there wants to have a software wallet in a seed

  phrase and deal with potentially getting hacked because as you

  know, from my experience that happened.

  So whether or not you agree with it, like Coinbase, don't like

  Coinbase, whatever the fact that we're on Coinbase is a big deal

  because it does open us up to a whole huge new market of people,

  right, that maybe don't want to have software wallets and deal

  with all that. I hope that makes it's a good

  thing. It's a big thing and as more and

  more people right will will we be on Schwab in the future?
