- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the Mark Simone show. R.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hey, it's Friday. It's less than two weeks the Christmas Day?
- 0:15Speaker 2: Can you believe it? And uh, three weeks from today
- 0:19Speaker 2: it'll be the new year. It'll be the first full
- 0:24Speaker 2: day of the mom Donnie administration. Three weeks from today.
- 0:28Speaker 2: All Right, calm down, it's gonna be like Deblasio. We
- 0:31Speaker 2: got through eight years of that. We'll get through a
- 0:34Speaker 2: couple of years of Mom Donnie and all right, it
- 0:39Speaker 2: wasn't great under Deblasio, but we got through it. We'll
- 0:42Speaker 2: get through this too. So hey, you know this guy Thompson.
- 0:46Speaker 2: We're talking about Democrats. They're just nuttier and nuttier and nuttier, crazier,
- 0:55Speaker 2: more far left. Every year, it's just they get worse
- 1:00Speaker 2: and worse. So they're having hearings yesterday in Congress, and
- 1:05Speaker 2: Christinome is there to testify about deportation, about ice. Christy
- 1:09Speaker 2: Nome is testifying in the course. The Democrats with the
- 1:12Speaker 2: TV cameras on, they want to, you know, create some
- 1:15Speaker 2: viral moments, so they're yelling and screaming, you got this
- 1:18Speaker 2: crazy left wing. Dan Goldman from New York yelling at Christineomas.
- 1:22Speaker 3: As if you're Department of Courts.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Anyone with an ongoing asylum application, you are violating the law.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Isn't that correct?
- 1:32Speaker 6: The asylum program was broken under the.
- 1:33Speaker 4: List Chairman, I will reclaim my time. She's not answering
- 1:36Speaker 4: the question, but the obvious answer is that yes, if
- 1:42Speaker 4: you follow a lawful pathway.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Asylum is a lawful pathway.
- 1:46Speaker 4: If you have an open asylum case, you are here lawfully.
- 1:51Speaker 4: But the problem that we are seeing around the country
- 1:55Speaker 4: is that you are not following the law. Don't tell
- 1:59Speaker 4: us to change the law. If you don't like the
- 2:01Speaker 4: asylum system, you changed the asylum law.
- 2:04Speaker 2: This is the problem. He shouldn't allow cameras on these things.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Here's a guy just carrying on for just crazy theatrics
- 2:11Speaker 2: for the camera. He's a smart guy. Goldman needs to
- 2:13Speaker 2: be far left wing kook, but he's a smart guy.
- 2:15Speaker 2: But he's just carrying on for the camera. He has
- 2:18Speaker 2: no interest in her answer. He's not even listening to
- 2:21Speaker 2: her answer. In fact, he's as soon as she talks,
- 2:23Speaker 2: he's just waiting to jump in again and talk. And
- 2:26Speaker 2: he's yelling and screaming and huffing and puffing for the camera.
- 2:29Speaker 2: And he's going and you you just carrying on because
- 2:33Speaker 2: he wants to be on the news. Seriously, they should
- 2:37Speaker 2: not allow cameras for these things. But you could also
- 2:41Speaker 2: make the case, you know what, you should have the
- 2:43Speaker 2: cameras there because some of these Democrats are so incredibly
- 2:48Speaker 2: stupid that you need to capture it on camera. Listen
- 2:51Speaker 2: to this Democrat, Congressman Thompson. This guy is just an
- 2:57Speaker 2: IQ of maybe maybe a I mean, he's just the
- 3:02Speaker 2: dumbest left wing Democrats. So he's going after Christy Nome
- 3:06Speaker 2: and he gets to the terrible assassination of two National
- 3:11Speaker 2: Guard troops in Washington, d C. This Muslim terrorist shoots
- 3:19Speaker 2: two National Guards and one is a woman, kills her,
- 3:23Speaker 2: shoots her in the head. Listen to this Thompson discussed
- 3:25Speaker 2: the incident with Christy Noman. Listen to his you won't
- 3:28Speaker 2: believe the words he uses.
- 3:30Speaker 7: Amount of secretary of you and a gentleman from c
- 3:34Speaker 7: n CTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred with the
- 3:41Speaker 7: National guardsman being.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Keel You think that was an unfortunate accident.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I mean he's a terrorist. Wait wait, look, I'll get
- 3:49Speaker 5: it straight.
- 3:49Speaker 6: And then you can shot our National guardsman in the head.
- 3:52Speaker 7: Look was Sam, will you direct the witness to allow
- 3:57Speaker 7: me to ask my question?
- 4:00Speaker 5: It was an unfortunate situation.
- 4:04Speaker 2: It's hard to believe a guy this dumb has any
- 4:06Speaker 2: kind of a job. But how the hell is a
- 4:09Speaker 2: guy this dumb a congressman. Listen to it again and
- 4:13Speaker 2: now it is Christine Noman. It takes her a second
- 4:15Speaker 2: to even process what he said that you can't believe
- 4:18Speaker 2: be setting in this dumb it's a Muslim terrorist assassinating
- 4:23Speaker 2: a National guardswoman.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Madam secretary of you and a gentleman from CTS n
- 4:28Speaker 7: CTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred with the National
- 4:36Speaker 7: guardsman and kill.
- 4:38Speaker 6: You think that was an unfortunate accident, I mean it's
- 4:41Speaker 6: a terrorist.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Wait wait, look, I'll get it straight.
- 4:44Speaker 6: Then you can shot our National guardsman in the.
- 4:46Speaker 7: Head, looks Sam, will you direct witness to allow me
- 4:52Speaker 7: to ask my question?
- 4:54Speaker 2: It's an unbelievable Here is the founding father's coming back
- 4:57Speaker 2: to life and finding out this this is an actual cause.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Oh I'm laughing. It's not funny. Mike Johnson.
- 5:04Speaker 6: I'm very privileged in honor today to have my family
- 5:07Speaker 6: with me.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I like, oh, this is this is Christy Notman as
- 5:12Speaker 2: she's testifying, and of course you have a nut job
- 5:17Speaker 2: or two have got into the chamber and they're going
- 5:19Speaker 2: to approach this. Why they shouldn't allow these cameras in there.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Actually, I'm very privileged in honor today to have my
- 5:24Speaker 6: family with me. I'd like to introduce them to you.
- 5:29Speaker 5: An importations.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Disruptions of congressional business is a violation of law.
- 5:34Speaker 5: It is a criminal offense under federal law.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Audience members are advised to take.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Their seats and maintain order. Of course, we'll get a
- 5:42Speaker 2: desk appearance ticket and that's it and it's over with.
- 5:44Speaker 2: It's not like January sixth, where if this were the Democrats,
- 5:49Speaker 2: they would put this guy in solitary confinement, convict him
- 5:51Speaker 2: for twenty years. He basically did what everybody on January
- 5:54Speaker 2: sixth did. But in this case, it'll be a desk
- 5:57Speaker 2: appearance ticket. What does Curtis call that suppeiance ticket? You
- 6:00Speaker 2: don't even have to answer it. So you get these
- 6:03Speaker 2: lunatics and then I take the governor of Illinois. The
- 6:07Speaker 2: problem is you get these really raging lunatics in office,
- 6:11Speaker 2: and then the otherwise smart people start behaving them like
- 6:15Speaker 2: that you know, Pritzker, who's a billionaire of businessman, has
- 6:19Speaker 2: to act like a nut to be a successful Democrat.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So he's fighting Ice. They're trying to come in and
- 6:25Speaker 2: get illegal criminals and gang members off the street. He's
- 6:29Speaker 2: trying to block it. He's trying to stop it.
- 6:31Speaker 8: The Chicago region has been subjected to a relentless campaign
- 6:35Speaker 8: of cruelty and intimidation and abuse at the hands of
- 6:41Speaker 8: ICE and Border Patrol agents. Together, we're sending a message
- 6:45Speaker 8: to Donald Trump, to Christy Gnome, to Gregory Bavino, and
- 6:48Speaker 8: anyone else seeking to terrorize our people. Your divisiveness and
- 6:53Speaker 8: your brutality are not welcome here.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, the messages you leave our criminals alone, leave our
- 7:00Speaker 2: gang members there. Of course Holman has to respond, talk
- 7:02Speaker 2: about terrorizing.
- 7:03Speaker 9: Why don't he talk to the victims of illego crime?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Won't he do?
- 7:08Speaker 9: I've done and talk to the angel moms and dad
- 7:11Speaker 9: who buried their children because they were killed by someone's
- 7:14Speaker 9: not supposed to be here. While't he talked to, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 9: called the ICE office and talk to people that are
- 7:20Speaker 9: involved with voice victims of immigration crime and hear their stories.
- 7:23Speaker 5: They're the ones that are terrorized.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Like Tom Holman. But give up. You can't explain an
- 7:28Speaker 2: he can't explain anything to these lunatics. They don't want
- 7:32Speaker 2: to hear it. Here's another guy, I Q eighty five.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Maybe this is a congressman. He's going to impeach Pete Hexath.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Listen to this guy.
- 7:45Speaker 10: I introduced articles to impeach Secretary Pete Hexath for murder
- 7:51Speaker 10: and conspiracy to murder, and reckless and unlawful mishandling of
- 7:57Speaker 10: classified information exactly are not just reprehensible but illegal as well.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I know you're saying, what an idiot, what the hell?
- 8:07Speaker 5: Why is?
- 8:08Speaker 2: It's not going to go anywhere, you know, don't get
- 8:10Speaker 2: yourself to Sky'll get on the view, He'll get on
- 8:13Speaker 2: MS whatever they call it. He'll get on CNN. Hey,
- 8:16Speaker 2: some bad news. They tried once again to indict Letitia James.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It went before a grand jury, this time in Alexandria, Virginia.
- 8:25Speaker 2: The grand jury refused to indict. That's tough and a
- 8:29Speaker 2: second time. Second time a grand jury didn't indict. Usually
- 8:33Speaker 2: pretty easy to get a grand jury to go along.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So this is not looking good here. First you had
- 8:38Speaker 2: a judge. Now you could say, well, they'll bring it again.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Hopefully they will, but you got to be careful. You know,
- 8:45Speaker 2: you do this too many times. It looks like you're
- 8:47Speaker 2: grand jury shopping. And even the CNN guy here has
- 8:50Speaker 2: a point.
- 8:51Speaker 3: This is over. We have never I can point to
- 8:55Speaker 3: no case in the last twenty years where you've had
- 8:58Speaker 3: a case thrown out by a judge, then you had
- 9:00Speaker 3: a grand jury refused to indict it, which is very
- 9:02Speaker 3: hard to do. Then you had a second grand jury
- 9:05Speaker 3: a week later refused to re re indict it.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you look at all the stuff she's done,
- 9:11Speaker 2: you could tell this is a one sleazy woman. They'll
- 9:15Speaker 2: find something, they'll they'll get her on something before they're done. Hey,
- 9:18Speaker 2: remember a George Soros is a company bought a lot
- 9:23Speaker 2: of radio groups and radio stations and radio companies. It
- 9:27Speaker 2: was a couple of years ago. They got FCC approval.
- 9:30Speaker 2: It was Biden at the time. So the Soros Fund
- 9:33Speaker 2: owns a lot of radio. Everybody worried, well they try
- 9:36Speaker 2: to tamper with conservative radio. That kind of swell. You know,
- 9:39Speaker 2: they bought a lot of AM stations. They just shut
- 9:42Speaker 2: one of them down. It's in Miami. It's a Spanish station.
- 9:46Speaker 2: But it's a conservative Spanish station. It's conservative stuff for
- 9:50Speaker 2: the Spanish community in Miami. The Soros group just shut
- 9:54Speaker 2: it down, just took it off the air, claiming for
- 9:58Speaker 2: financial reasons. They took well, very important voice in the
- 10:03Speaker 2: Miami Spanish community, a conservative voice though, so they just
- 10:07Speaker 2: shut it down. It's gone, As I said, Mom, Donnie,
- 10:11Speaker 2: two weeks, three weeks from yesterday, takes office. Three weeks
- 10:17Speaker 2: from yesterday, Mom, Donnie takes office, they'll have the inauguration.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It looks like Adams is not going to go. He's
- 10:23Speaker 2: making quite a stink about not going. Says he hasn't decided,
- 10:26Speaker 2: but it sounds like he's not going. That's unusual. There's
- 10:29Speaker 2: always always always the previous mayor there. That'll be unusual.
- 10:33Speaker 2: He'll be sworn in. I guess that night he goes
- 10:35Speaker 2: to Gracie Mansion to stay there for the first night.
- 10:38Speaker 2: He's the youngest mayor ever. He also, you know, he
- 10:42Speaker 2: has no kids. I'm trying to think, oh, ed Kotch,
- 10:47Speaker 2: but him, I guess ed Coach was the only other
- 10:49Speaker 2: mayor that didn't have kids. If we ever had a
- 10:52Speaker 2: mayor with no children ed Cotch, Uh, Mom, Donnie, I
- 10:56Speaker 2: think that. But you know, Mom Donnie hasn't been married
- 10:58Speaker 2: very long. He just got married beginning of the year,
- 11:01Speaker 2: February he got married. Yeah, he's only been married like
- 11:04Speaker 2: ten months to this seemingly a nice woman. And he's
- 11:07Speaker 2: got to be nuts. You's married to Mom Downie. But
- 11:10Speaker 2: they met on the dating app Hinge. Hinge is a
- 11:13Speaker 2: very good app. And I notice, you know, normally if
- 11:19Speaker 2: you're a dating app, you do some advertising promote yourself.
- 11:26Speaker 2: That's a pretty good coup. Hey, you the mayor of
- 11:28Speaker 2: New York met his wife on Hinge. I notice they're
- 11:30Speaker 2: not using it for any kind of advertise. I guess
- 11:32Speaker 2: they don't even they don't want to be tied to
- 11:35Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. Hey, it's Frank Sinatra's one hundred and tenth
- 11:39Speaker 2: birthday today. It's a big day. December twelfth, the birthday
- 11:43Speaker 2: of Frank Sinatra. He was the greatest singer ever in
- 11:45Speaker 2: the history of music, the biggest star of the twentieth century.
- 11:51Speaker 2: You don't realize how big this guy was and how long.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You know, you could be really big for ten years,
- 11:57Speaker 2: twenty years. You know, you look at the beat, you
- 12:00Speaker 2: know they were really only there. I mean they came
- 12:02Speaker 2: to America in sixty four, but they broke up in
- 12:06Speaker 2: nineteen seventies, so it was really six years. It was
- 12:10Speaker 2: really sixty two because they were very big in Europe first,
- 12:13Speaker 2: but that's eight years. So that was it. You know,
- 12:15Speaker 2: Sinatra was like on top of the world, performing all
- 12:19Speaker 2: over the world for decades and decades. You know, when
- 12:23Speaker 2: he started, Herbert Hoover was president and when he stopped,
- 12:29Speaker 2: Bill Clinton was president. That's a long long run of
- 12:33Speaker 2: being on top. He was very good at evolving, at
- 12:37Speaker 2: changing himself. There were different Sinatras every decade. He was
- 12:40Speaker 2: the boys singer with the bow tie Little Frankie in
- 12:42Speaker 2: the forties. Then he came back in the fifties as
- 12:45Speaker 2: the older nightclub pal Joey singer. And then in the
- 12:49Speaker 2: sixties he was the rat pack Las Vegas guy, and
- 12:52Speaker 2: then you know, that didn't work out, and that was huge,
- 12:56Speaker 2: but then in the seventies it wasn't working, so he
- 12:59Speaker 2: switched and he did what a lot of these singers
- 13:02Speaker 2: have to realize. Billy Joel figured it out, McCartney figured
- 13:05Speaker 2: it out. He got to stop trying to be the contemporary,
- 13:09Speaker 2: churning out top forty hits kind of a guy. And
- 13:11Speaker 2: switch as you get older and become the elder Statesman,
- 13:15Speaker 2: where all you do is you just travel the world
- 13:17Speaker 2: doing these big, grand concerts, these big events the Elder
- 13:21Speaker 2: states and doing concerts, and that's it. And that's what
- 13:25Speaker 2: he did for the last twenty years very successfully. Sinatra
- 13:29Speaker 2: was you know, he lived in California, but he also
- 13:31Speaker 2: really more than half the time he lived in New
- 13:34Speaker 2: York right over there of the Waldorf Apartment thirty three A.
- 13:38Speaker 2: How's that for a memory. But he loved New York.
- 13:41Speaker 2: He was out all night. Wherever he was in the world,
- 13:43Speaker 2: he'd be out all night. In fact, when Sinatra would
- 13:45Speaker 2: invite you to dinner, you'd bring sunglasses because it might
- 13:50Speaker 2: be noon by the time you got home. It would
- 13:53Speaker 2: just go all night long. Dinner was huge. It was
- 13:57Speaker 2: always thirty people, forty people. Sometimes said I'd see a
- 14:02Speaker 2: guy and he'd be all excited. Frank invited me to
- 14:05Speaker 2: dinner tonight, and the guy was so thrilled. I didn't
- 14:08Speaker 2: have the heart to tell him, dinner's forty people. You're
- 14:10Speaker 2: gonna be like fourteen seats away. And that guy would say,
- 14:14Speaker 2: I mean, I was thinking about what I want to
- 14:16Speaker 2: talk about with him, and I didn't have the heart
- 14:18Speaker 2: to tell him, you're not going to get a word
- 14:19Speaker 2: in all night. He's going to talk NonStop. You won't
- 14:21Speaker 2: get to say anything. But it was always fun. It
- 14:24Speaker 2: was always incredible, and he was an incredible tipper. You know.
- 14:30Speaker 2: He would this that famous story. He was leaving the
- 14:32Speaker 2: place and he gave the doorman. He said to the doorman,
- 14:35Speaker 2: what's the biggest tip you ever got? And the doorman
- 14:37Speaker 2: said one hundred dollars. That was a fortune back then.
- 14:41Speaker 2: So Sinatra said one hundred dollars, He's two hundred. Doorman
- 14:44Speaker 2: couldn't believe it. And a Sinatra's leaving, he turned around,
- 14:47Speaker 2: he says, hey, who gave you the hundred? He goes
- 14:49Speaker 2: you did a few months ago. So he had to
- 14:53Speaker 2: keep topping his own record. But he was just an
- 14:57Speaker 2: unbelievable guy, the most generous guy in the world. All
- 15:00Speaker 2: these great you know there was he had beautiful art
- 15:03Speaker 2: all over his house, beautiful, incredible, very expensive paintings. And
- 15:08Speaker 2: there was the violinist Eleanor Slotkin who played on a
- 15:11Speaker 2: lot of his records, Eleanor Slatkin, And he saw her
- 15:15Speaker 2: in the house at a party. She'd come to a
- 15:17Speaker 2: big dinner party. She was staring at one painting and
- 15:20Speaker 2: he said, you like that? She said, oh what, I
- 15:22Speaker 2: love that painting. So anyway, they went into the dinner
- 15:25Speaker 2: and all that, and hours later she's leaving and gets
- 15:28Speaker 2: into her car and there's the painting wrapped up in
- 15:32Speaker 2: the back seat of her car. That's the way. It
- 15:34Speaker 2: was just very very generous and incredible guy. You know,
- 15:41Speaker 2: if you haven't done it in a while, go back
- 15:43Speaker 2: and start listening to Sinatra music. I'm sure you do
- 15:45Speaker 2: now and then, but seriously listen to it. Go go
- 15:48Speaker 2: on wherever you get your music, and just listen to
- 15:50Speaker 2: we small hours of the morning. Go listen to the
- 15:51Speaker 2: whole album or only the Lonely or any of those.
- 15:55Speaker 2: We'll take some calls. Next eight we'll talk to the
- 15:57Speaker 2: world's greatest polster in a few moments, see where Trump
- 16:00Speaker 2: really stands and what the real issues are, and we'll
- 16:02Speaker 2: take some calls. Next eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:06Speaker 2: seven ten is the number eight hundred three to two
- 16:09Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 16:11Speaker 11: A preseat on the iHeartRadio app to wor to hear
- 16:15Speaker 11: Mark live, set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 16:20Speaker 11: Now back to Mark Simone on WOR.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Hey, let's say some calls. Let's go to h Randall
- 16:29Speaker 2: and Maryland Randall.
- 16:30Speaker 12: How you doing, I'm good Mark. Do you remember a
- 16:36Speaker 12: theatre critic that used to be on WOR in the
- 16:39Speaker 12: mornings by m.
- 16:41Speaker 2: O'Brien Jack O'Brien. Yes, yes, he was actually a big
- 16:46Speaker 2: writer for was it the Daily News of the World
- 16:49Speaker 2: Telegram on one of those things and Jack O'Brien, Yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 2: used to anyway, the show was called Critics Circle. I
- 16:56Speaker 2: actually knew the guy. It was very late in his life.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Not the nicest guy in the world. I never really
- 17:00Speaker 2: liked him.
- 17:01Speaker 12: But go ahead, Well, well about Sinatra? He had some
- 17:05Speaker 12: kind of feud or he hated Sinatra.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Well, Jack O'Brien, he was this guy, could have a
- 17:12Speaker 2: feud with anybody. If you met him for two minutes,
- 17:14Speaker 2: you'd hate the guy. I mean, he just not a
- 17:17Speaker 2: nice guy. I'd argue about anything and everything.
- 17:20Speaker 12: Can I tell you you know the man? I didn't.
- 17:23Speaker 12: But can I tell you my favorite Sinatra quote?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Go ahead?
- 17:27Speaker 12: Is it when he was freshed about this mob connections
- 17:32Speaker 12: early on? Right he says, any of the checks were
- 17:35Speaker 12: always good?
- 17:38Speaker 5: All right?
- 17:38Speaker 2: You know, Well, it's too much to get into the
- 17:41Speaker 2: whole mob thing. He wasn't the mob singer he was
- 17:44Speaker 2: made out to me. He loved the mob he romanticized
- 17:46Speaker 2: that he chased after these mobs tos. He loved hanging
- 17:49Speaker 2: out with him. There were other guys in the music,
- 17:52Speaker 2: other famous singers who were so mob connected, way beyond Sinatra.
- 17:55Speaker 2: But Sinatra liked to play it up a lot. Let's
- 17:58Speaker 2: go to Dave in Chicago. Hey, how you doing, good.
- 18:02Speaker 13: Morning, Mark.
- 18:02Speaker 12: I'm doing very well.
- 18:03Speaker 13: Thank you, Mark. I have a couple of Frank Sinatra questions,
- 18:07Speaker 13: if I may go ahead. I know he had a
- 18:10Speaker 13: record label called Reprise Records. The Night, Yeah, I heard,
- 18:17Speaker 13: I had heard that he did not like the song.
- 18:20Speaker 13: And the second question is regarding the rat Pack. I
- 18:24Speaker 13: had heard that Angie Dickinson was a member. Is this true?
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yes, she was in the movie Ocean's Eleven. She was
- 18:30Speaker 2: a member of the rat Pack Strangers in the Night. Yes,
- 18:32Speaker 2: he did hate that song. He didn't like my Way,
- 18:37Speaker 2: couldn't stand it. Hated paul Anka. Despite anything paul Anka,
- 18:40Speaker 2: I tell you, Sinatra was not a big Paul Anka fan. Uh.
- 18:44Speaker 2: In fact, it's the concert for the Americas you can
- 18:48Speaker 2: get the video the concert for the America's whenever it
- 18:52Speaker 2: was big TV special and we're going to film the concert.
- 18:55Speaker 2: He had to do Strangers in the Night. He hated
- 18:57Speaker 2: the song. But if you get the concert for the America's,
- 19:00Speaker 2: he does Strangers in the Night and at the end
- 19:04Speaker 2: people are applauding and applauding. You see him go over
- 19:06Speaker 2: and say something to Vinnie Falcone, the pianist and conductor.
- 19:11Speaker 2: And I said the Falcon, what did he say to you?
- 19:13Speaker 2: And he said he went over and said, that's the
- 19:16Speaker 2: worst Fens song ever written. He didn't he said the
- 19:20Speaker 2: actual ef word. So I went back and I got
- 19:23Speaker 2: you can barely hear it, but if you turn it
- 19:25Speaker 2: up real loud, put your ear right up there, you
- 19:27Speaker 2: can hear him say that to Vinnie Fellcone. Let's go
- 19:31Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning Marah. Mark. You
- 19:37Speaker 1: may remember the theater critic of the New York Times,
- 19:40Speaker 1: Andrew Saris.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I didn't know him. I know the name.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, he lived in my building, but he was more
- 19:46Speaker 1: lived in my apartment building.
- 19:47Speaker 2: There's more of a film critic wasn't.
- 19:49Speaker 1: He he was I was very young when he lived
- 19:54Speaker 1: in my house. But anyway, he lived in my house
- 19:57Speaker 1: when my well, when my family owned building. What I
- 20:01Speaker 1: wanted to say is, it would be easy to bring
- 20:05Speaker 1: a case against Letitia James in New York because here
- 20:09Speaker 1: it's black and white. It was in Virginia. But here,
- 20:12Speaker 1: First off, we would go to Brooklyn because she owns
- 20:15Speaker 1: the property in Brooklyn and she listed it as a
- 20:19Speaker 1: four family. It's a five family. And also there's here.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Well you're also you're right about the law, but you
- 20:26Speaker 2: can't bring the case in New York. You got New
- 20:28Speaker 2: York judges, new York jury's they'll never do anything.
- 20:30Speaker 1: But though't they have the same crooked problem in Virginia.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Mind? Yeah apparently, But in New York, forget it. You
- 20:36Speaker 2: know that case she brought against Sinatra, not Sinatra Trump,
- 20:40Speaker 2: the case she brought against Trump. No judge jury anywhere
- 20:44Speaker 2: in the world would allow that, no ac court room,
- 20:46Speaker 2: but only here in New York, crazy left wing judges.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you're you're right, bout you're right. Probably it would
- 20:53Speaker 1: be like a lead balloon here. But I just thought,
- 20:55Speaker 1: because maybe with the insurance company, because you.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Gotta get it anytime you're in a New York court,
- 21:01Speaker 2: new York judge, New York jurors, for get it. You
- 21:04Speaker 2: got no shot that's topped.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Unfortunately, you're probably right marked.
- 21:08Speaker 2: All right, great call, Thanks for Colin. We'll break for
- 21:12Speaker 2: the news, get caught up on everything, and then we'll
- 21:14Speaker 2: talk to the greatest polster in the world. You're being
- 21:17Speaker 2: bombarded with fake polls right now, ap, those kind of
- 21:20Speaker 2: crazy left wing slanted place we'll get the we'll get
- 21:23Speaker 2: the real story. L let's see what kind of what
- 21:26Speaker 2: he thinks about Bruce Blakeman, who's going to be governor.
- 21:28Speaker 2: We'll get to that too, coming up next on seven
- 21:31Speaker 2: to ten w R, The.
- 21:33Speaker 11: Mark Simone Show on WR.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Well, you know, you see all these public polls, these junkie, cheap,
- 21:42Speaker 2: little flimsy poles. But let's talk to the greatest pollster
- 21:46Speaker 2: in the world. I mean, the real poles are behind
- 21:47Speaker 2: the scenes, the ones the candidates use pay a fortune for.
- 21:51Speaker 2: But here's here's the best pollster on earth, John McLaughlin.
- 21:55Speaker 2: His website McLachlan online dot com.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Uh.
- 21:58Speaker 2: But he's been the pollster for presidents, prime minister's, premiers, senators,
- 22:03Speaker 2: all over the world. John McLaughlin, how you doing.
- 22:06Speaker 14: I'm doing well because that's a very very nice introduction.
- 22:10Speaker 14: But as well as having survived three presidential campaigns with
- 22:14Speaker 14: President Trump where he made his polster look good, I'll
- 22:17Speaker 14: accept it, all right. He credit goes to him and
- 22:21Speaker 14: the other the other elected officials work force.
- 22:24Speaker 2: So well, I just take the polls. We'll get to
- 22:27Speaker 2: him in a moment. Let's start with the governor's race
- 22:30Speaker 2: here in New York next year. Bruce Blakeman, elis Stephonic.
- 22:34Speaker 2: To me, they're both very popular. I think Blakeman would
- 22:36Speaker 2: be the better choice because he's what he does right
- 22:39Speaker 2: now is he's a governor. He's the governor of Nasau County.
- 22:42Speaker 2: She's a legislator, he's a governor. But where does it
- 22:45Speaker 2: stand pole wise?
- 22:47Speaker 12: Well exactly.
- 22:48Speaker 14: I mean, well, first of all, there's only been one
- 22:51Speaker 14: poll that was a serious poll that was put out there,
- 22:55Speaker 14: and that was the Cien Pol. And the cen Pol
- 22:57Speaker 14: had Congresswoman Stephonic losing by twenty points and had her
- 23:02Speaker 14: upside down. She was twenty eight favorable, thirty six unfavorable.
- 23:06Speaker 14: They didn't even put Bruce in it. So even though
- 23:09Speaker 14: you know Kathy Hochel is very beatable. She's not popular
- 23:12Speaker 14: and most people when somebody knew the congresswoman was losing
- 23:17Speaker 14: to her by twenty points. And I worked for Lee's
- 23:21Speaker 14: Eldon last time. At some point we hit a wall
- 23:23Speaker 14: with forty seven percent, but it was close enough that
- 23:27Speaker 14: we gained congressional seats in New York. And the bad
- 23:31Speaker 14: part about this is somebody like Bruce. Let me tell
- 23:33Speaker 14: you about Bruce. The election he had in Nassau County
- 23:36Speaker 14: was defied the national trends where he got re elected
- 23:40Speaker 14: with twelve percent in an eight point Democrat county because
- 23:44Speaker 14: he's cut taxes and he's kept the taxes low. Plus
- 23:47Speaker 14: he hired hundreds of more police and worked with ice
- 23:51Speaker 14: and it's the safest county in America. So Bruce, like
- 23:55Speaker 14: in Nassau County, in our post election surveyce well, the
- 24:00Speaker 14: voters gave him a twelve point you know, landslide and
- 24:02Speaker 14: a carry through the.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Rest of the ticket.
- 24:04Speaker 14: He brought all these other Republicans in with them, and
- 24:08Speaker 14: the rest of the state they were losing, like fifty
- 24:10Speaker 14: Republican county legislators upstate, they were, you know, they taking
- 24:13Speaker 14: losses in Syracuse and other places. And you know, even
- 24:19Speaker 14: like in Stuffic we lost Riverhead and so there's there's
- 24:23Speaker 14: we need somebody like Bruce who can win among Hispanic votes.
- 24:26Speaker 14: He won among Hispanic votes, he won among Asian voters,
- 24:28Speaker 14: he won among Jewish voters. I mean in New York,
- 24:32Speaker 14: you have to get thirty five percent of the vote
- 24:34Speaker 14: in New York City to win President Trump. You know,
- 24:37Speaker 14: got thirty percent. Zeldon got thirty percent. But the Lease
- 24:41Speaker 14: is not getting that. And a lease, you know is
- 24:44Speaker 14: the Bayport is if you get if you can't win
- 24:47Speaker 14: the New York suburbs and you can't win New York
- 24:50Speaker 14: enough vote in New York City, you know, the Adirondacks
- 24:53Speaker 14: aren't going to make it up so upstate, you know,
- 24:55Speaker 14: well the Republicans are fighting for existence upstate because the
- 24:59Speaker 14: other thing Uncle did was she moved a lot of
- 25:03Speaker 14: the idye elections. He's town supervisors, a county legates, studies.
- 25:06Speaker 14: They moved into the even year behind the governor's race.
- 25:10Speaker 14: So not only will we have trouble trying to like
- 25:13Speaker 14: defeat Laura Gillen in the Democrat in in CD four
- 25:18Speaker 14: Nasaux County or Tom Swasey in Nasau County Uh, you
- 25:21Speaker 14: might have Republicans like Nicole Mally Takas, Nicololoda, my one
- 25:27Speaker 14: of my favorite, Mike Waller. Uh an upstate, You're gonna
- 25:30Speaker 14: have a lot of problems trying to get the Congress.
- 25:34Speaker 14: The Republicans the Congress reelected, and uh, Bruce changes the
- 25:39Speaker 14: whole makeup of the race. He's running on a positive record,
- 25:41Speaker 14: a positive view. He's definitely a Trump Conservative. He had
- 25:45Speaker 14: we had President Trump out at the Ryder Cup in
- 25:48Speaker 14: Nassau County during the campaign, and it was it was
- 25:53Speaker 14: turned into like a between Bruce and President Trump.
- 25:56Speaker 2: It was like a USA rally.
- 25:58Speaker 14: It was like a Trump campaign rally. And you know
- 26:01Speaker 14: so and President Trump after he visited his job, a
- 26:04Speaker 14: rule in Nasal County was sixty seven percent.
- 26:07Speaker 2: So Blakely would be the best governor. There's no better choice.
- 26:11Speaker 2: But people say you can't win a Republican, cannot win
- 26:14Speaker 2: in New York City as mayor Republican. And I'm starting
- 26:16Speaker 2: to think we haven't had a Republican governor in twenty years,
- 26:19Speaker 2: have we?
- 26:21Speaker 14: And no George for Taki that was it's I mean
- 26:24Speaker 14: he served three terms and and and Bruce is a
- 26:26Speaker 14: lot like George where you know, he has that personal appeal.
- 26:30Speaker 14: I mean, President Trump says, you know, Bruce is out
- 26:33Speaker 14: of central casting. He's very likable and and like that,
- 26:37Speaker 14: Siena pol I cided, I mean, Elise's twenty eight favorable,
- 26:41Speaker 14: thirty six unfairbles, she's already that negative in New York
- 26:44Speaker 14: State among the voters that nowhere but a Republican.
- 26:47Speaker 2: A Republican can win New York.
- 26:48Speaker 14: Right, definitely, a Republican could win New York because in
- 26:54Speaker 14: that same poem referring to most voters want somebody new
- 26:58Speaker 14: for governor, and you know, well they want somebody new,
- 27:02Speaker 14: but they're saying, well, least isn't it. So let's let's
- 27:05Speaker 14: give Bruce some time to build some support and show
- 27:08Speaker 14: he could potentially beat Kathy Hockel. So you know that's uh,
- 27:14Speaker 14: you know, we need change in New York. And uh,
- 27:16Speaker 14: definitely right, you're you're familiar with you know, I mean
- 27:22Speaker 14: and no with with Mayor elect Mundai. Uh, you're going
- 27:26Speaker 14: to need a governor to be a check of balance,
- 27:28Speaker 14: particularly if the legislature gives in on him, like Bruce
- 27:31Speaker 14: has pointed out that Kathy Hochele now wants to raise
- 27:34Speaker 14: the corporate tax in New York from seven percent to
- 27:36Speaker 14: eleven percent. Well, that'll be passed on to consumers. That
- 27:40Speaker 14: won't be good for cost of living.
- 27:41Speaker 2: He could, and could you guys start using the word tariffs.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I love to do that. When they talk about raising
- 27:46Speaker 2: the corporate tax, it's a tariff. So Democrats want to
- 27:49Speaker 2: now put tariffs on the corporations in New York. It's
- 27:52Speaker 2: the same thing.
- 27:53Speaker 14: The difference is no tariffs are on you know, that's
- 27:56Speaker 14: on foreign things coming back to the United States. With
- 28:00Speaker 14: this is domestic. This is your jobs in New York.
- 28:03Speaker 14: The people that you might work for in New York.
- 28:05Speaker 14: If they get if their corporate taxes go from seven
- 28:08Speaker 14: to eleven here, they go to Texas and Florida and
- 28:12Speaker 14: Tennessee and you know it's it's not good. So they
- 28:17Speaker 14: you know, we could lose jobs because of them, and
- 28:20Speaker 14: then the prices get passed on and so hey, we
- 28:24Speaker 14: need we need some like Bruce to stop that.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah, no, definitely, Bruce Blakeman. Hey, I'm watching The Morning
- 28:29Speaker 2: Joe this morning. Apparently Donald Trump has the worst poll
- 28:32Speaker 2: numbers ever. He's dying, He's gonna be u the lowest.
- 28:37Speaker 2: What's the real truth?
- 28:39Speaker 14: We had and it's on our website. The day before Thanksgiving,
- 28:42Speaker 14: we put out a national survey. We put out a
- 28:45Speaker 14: monthly national survey, and President Trump has a fifty job
- 28:47Speaker 14: approval forty six disapprove among likely voters, people that will
- 28:52Speaker 14: show up next November and vote for members of Congress
- 28:55Speaker 14: and Senate. And you know, I think it could be
- 28:58Speaker 14: it could be higher, but we've got we've got to
- 29:01Speaker 14: sell them that they you know, ironically, that the economy
- 29:05Speaker 14: is doing better. Economy and inflation are still the top issues.
- 29:09Speaker 14: And Biden is responsible for most of the inflation he's
- 29:12Speaker 14: dealing with right now. But President Trump had a great
- 29:16Speaker 14: night on Tuesday night when he was out in uh
- 29:18Speaker 14: Pennsylvania talking about the fact that wages are now growing
- 29:22Speaker 14: faster than the rate of inflation. And you know, the
- 29:25Speaker 14: tax cuts, the no tax cuts on tips, on overtime,
- 29:28Speaker 14: on Social Security, they don't kick in till January. So
- 29:32Speaker 14: when they start kicking in, you know, our friends like
- 29:35Speaker 14: Larry Kudlow, Steve Moore that you know very well, Steve Forbes,
- 29:39Speaker 14: that's when you'll get even better growth in the economy.
- 29:42Speaker 14: And uh so, I think that'll that will help us
- 29:45Speaker 14: next year. So that we can keep keep the House
- 29:47Speaker 14: and keep the Senate in uh in Washington, and President
- 29:51Speaker 14: Trump will be out on the campaign trail doing what
- 29:53Speaker 14: he did on Tuesday night, talking about the real facts
- 29:56Speaker 14: about how how the economy is in better shape than
- 29:59Speaker 14: I think, as you said, Joe Scarborough or whatever they said,
- 30:05Speaker 14: you know, I mean before they go back to Connecticut
- 30:09Speaker 14: and their dry limbos and stuff like that. So but
- 30:12Speaker 14: we think we need to I mean, President Trump is
- 30:15Speaker 14: going to make it better for working class voters. And
- 30:18Speaker 14: this affordability issues. As Bruce Blakeman showed us in Nasau,
- 30:24Speaker 14: Democrats can't be for affordability when they want to raise
- 30:26Speaker 14: your taxes. I mean, how that's the least affordable thing.
- 30:31Speaker 14: If the four years of biding inflation to pay higher
- 30:34Speaker 14: taxes in every Democrat for Congress or for Senate voted
- 30:39Speaker 14: for to let the Trump tax cuts lapse, which would
- 30:42Speaker 14: eraise taxes two or three thousand dollars on every American.
- 30:45Speaker 14: And we can't afford that, and Pal's not lower and
- 30:48Speaker 14: interest rates fast enough, because mortgage rates are still high,
- 30:52Speaker 14: credit card rates are still high. We got to get
- 30:54Speaker 14: rid of him, and we got to look at Trump
- 30:56Speaker 14: tax cuts work and friends like Larry Culloo Tellmas, we're
- 31:00Speaker 14: gonna have a boom this year.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and next year. Actually, starting January, the big beautiful
- 31:05Speaker 2: bill kicks in. Everybody's going to notice a big difference
- 31:07Speaker 2: in their paychecks starting in January. Well, John McLoughlin, great stuff.
- 31:12Speaker 2: People can go to your website. What can they see
- 31:14Speaker 2: up there? At McLaughlan online dot com.
- 31:17Speaker 14: McLachlan online dot com. You will find the National survey
- 31:21Speaker 14: that I spoke about, and you'll you'll see that. And
- 31:24Speaker 14: then we actually have a history of surveys on that
- 31:26Speaker 14: that go way back, the ones that had Trump beating
- 31:30Speaker 14: Kamala Harris and beating Joe Biden before that. But the press,
- 31:34Speaker 14: the media didn't say that was going to happen.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, everybody go check it out. And you had
- 31:39Speaker 2: it right. Well, thanks to you. But he's the best
- 31:42Speaker 2: poster on earth. He's the real polls, not the fake public,
- 31:44Speaker 2: but the best poster on earth. And John McLoughlin's website
- 31:47Speaker 2: is McLaughlin online dot com. Check it out, John McLaughlin,
- 31:52Speaker 2: thanks for being with us. Thank you, take care. He

- 32:36Speaker 2: or just go to seven ten wor dot com.
- 32:39Speaker 1: It's more ore mister New York on seven ten WR.
- 32:46Speaker 2: And they just released the whole batch of Epstein photographs.
- 32:49Speaker 2: You can find him online. Woody Allen looks very chumy
- 32:52Speaker 2: with Epstein. Pictures of Woody Allen in Epstein's dining room
- 32:56Speaker 2: at home in his house and Bill Gates at his house,
- 33:01Speaker 2: Steve Bannon and Epstein's office. Two of them alone. Now
- 33:04Speaker 2: there's a couple of Trump pictures, they'll say, Aha, there's
- 33:06Speaker 2: Trump with Epstein. But you'll notice all the Trump pictures,
- 33:10Speaker 2: he's obviously at a party with hundreds of people. Oh
- 33:14Speaker 2: there's a picture of him with six women. Yeah, it's
- 33:17Speaker 2: obviously the party. They're all dressed up and they got
- 33:19Speaker 2: those Hawaiian lays around their neck. It's obviously some kind
- 33:24Speaker 2: of party. And he's there. Everybody's dressed up there in
- 33:26Speaker 2: a big ballroom or something. So it's not that significant.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And again, I know people have seen every inch of
- 33:33Speaker 2: every Epstein file and they all say the same thing.
- 33:36Speaker 2: There's nothing in there. You don't already know. There's no
- 33:39Speaker 2: names in there you I already haven't heard about. So
- 33:43Speaker 2: it's really I mean, it's an interesting story, but there's
- 33:46Speaker 2: nothing coming there. Hey, we're out of time. I'll be
- 33:49Speaker 2: back Monday ten to noon. And if you're a podcast listener,
- 33:53Speaker 2: remember there'll be a bonus segment tomorrow, so you know,

- 34:01Speaker 2: can hear only on the podcast. But otherwise I'll be
- 34:04Speaker 2: back Monday at ten talk to you then on seven
- 34:07Speaker 2: ten WOI
