- 0:34Speaker 3: Well, what WHOA? What's going on? Welcome back to another
- 0:38Speaker 3: episode of His High Radio podcast. I'm your brother, I'm
- 0:44Speaker 3: your host, mister his Hot and today we're going to
- 0:49Speaker 3: start the Book of Acts, chapter ten. The Book of Acts,
- 0:55Speaker 3: chapter ten. You know what time it is. It is
- 0:58Speaker 3: eleven o'clock. This is where we meet here live on
- 1:02Speaker 3: the his Hot Radio station. So if you have not
- 1:04Speaker 3: downloaded that app, go ahead, It only takes a couple
- 1:08Speaker 3: of seconds. Look it up Hi shop his Hot Radio
- 1:11Speaker 3: on all platforms, and once you download it, go to
- 1:14Speaker 3: the top left menu and hit that live chat and
- 1:18Speaker 3: meet us in there. This is where we meet. We
- 1:21Speaker 3: make disciples, we hold each other accountable, we pray for
- 1:24Speaker 3: one another, and we interact with one another here on
- 1:30Speaker 3: this podcast. So when we invite you in, and also
- 1:34Speaker 3: we do a conference call after each show, so if
- 1:39Speaker 3: you want to jump on the call as well, we
- 1:43Speaker 3: invite you to do that, but first we need to
- 1:45Speaker 3: get you in that live chat so that we know
- 1:48Speaker 3: that you're interested in doing all that. Why do we
- 1:52Speaker 3: do that because the Bible says that iron sharpens iron, right,
- 1:59Speaker 3: you got have somebody in your life that can, for
- 2:02Speaker 3: one hold you accountable, for one that can agree with
- 2:06Speaker 3: you in prayer, so we can fellowship over the word,
- 2:10Speaker 3: break bread together, all that good stuff in we kind
- 2:14Speaker 3: of consider ourselves the small group on radio. You know,
- 2:18Speaker 3: a lot of churches, if it's a growing ministry, you
- 2:21Speaker 3: can almost get lost in a crowd. You think you're
- 2:24Speaker 3: a number. But a lot of these large churches they
- 2:28Speaker 3: break in. Small churches they do it too. They break
- 2:30Speaker 3: off into small groups where they'll have like a Bible
- 2:34Speaker 3: study leader that will lead the group, and you know,
- 2:39Speaker 3: they teach some of the messages that were taught on Sunday,
- 2:43Speaker 3: or they go over certain Bible topics. So that's kind
- 2:47Speaker 3: of like what we are on the radio station. So
- 2:49Speaker 3: go ahead and download that out and meet us in
- 2:52Speaker 3: that live chat. I want to give a huge shout
- 2:58Speaker 3: out to our brothers Zone three and Rent. Our brothers
- 3:02Speaker 3: are faithfully mean up in the life chat. We appreciate y'all.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And now let's go ahead and go before our Father
- 3:15Speaker 3: in prayer that the Father, we thank you for another day,
- 3:19Speaker 3: We thank you for another time. We thank you for
- 3:23Speaker 3: another opportunity, Father God, to join together to fellowship over
- 3:28Speaker 3: your word. May your word nourish our souls. Oh God,
- 3:32Speaker 3: we ask for revelation and the rain of word. We
- 3:36Speaker 3: ask Father God for better understanding of God and how
- 3:39Speaker 3: to pursue you, how to entreat you, and how to
- 3:43Speaker 3: make it into the Kingdom of God. We thank you,
- 3:46Speaker 3: We praise you in the mighty name of Jesus. Hey man, hallelujah. Well,
- 3:55Speaker 3: we're gonna continue our journey through the early Church, and
- 4:00Speaker 3: today we step into Acts chapter ten. Now, this is
- 4:04Speaker 3: one of the most earth shaking moments in the scriptures
- 4:10Speaker 3: right here. So it's gonna be pitable, right, It's gonna
- 4:15Speaker 3: be a great episode. So I encourage you to remove
- 4:19Speaker 3: all distractions in tune all the way in, because in
- 4:23Speaker 3: Acts ten is where God begins to publicly tear down
- 4:28Speaker 3: walls that religion has built. Right, We're gonna tear down
- 4:36Speaker 3: a lot of walls, not only religion, but walls of racism.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We're gonna tear down walls of culture. We're gonna be
- 4:48Speaker 3: tearing down walls of tradition. You know, if you know
- 4:53Speaker 3: anything about my ministry and my testimony, my heart is
- 4:57Speaker 3: to preach the liberty that is in Christ. Right this
- 5:02Speaker 3: world tries to bring us into so many areas of bondage.
- 5:07Speaker 3: You know, religion can be a bondage. You can go
- 5:11Speaker 3: to a church that wants to manipulate and control and
- 5:15Speaker 3: intimidate and rule over their people. You can be in
- 5:19Speaker 3: a relationship like that. Culture and racism and all this stuff.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Look at the history of the United States. Only if
- 5:29Speaker 3: we would have applied the written word of God, we
- 5:35Speaker 3: could have avoided all of this. But we're gonna look
- 5:39Speaker 3: at God's heart. But instead of rushing through the chapter,
- 5:44Speaker 3: we're gonna slow down. Now this episode, we're gonna call
- 5:49Speaker 3: it ten a right because we're not gonna go through
- 5:52Speaker 3: the whole chapter. We're gonna go through sections of it.
- 5:57Speaker 3: And we're only gonna cover verse one through verse eight
- 6:03Speaker 3: in this episode. Why because God changes the church. He
- 6:11Speaker 3: starts by revealing a seeking heart. Right before God changes
- 6:19Speaker 3: the church, he starts by revealing a secret heart. I'm
- 6:26Speaker 3: gonna show you what I mean in the scripture, so
- 6:29Speaker 3: let's dive into it. In verse one. In verse two,
- 6:36Speaker 3: we're gonna talk about a Cetyrian. Right, there was a
- 6:39Speaker 3: certain man us. Uh, I'm stumbling over this word, said,
- 6:49Speaker 3: says Syria. Oh that's not, and that's the place. Okay,
- 6:52Speaker 3: There's a certain man in Saysyria called Cornelius, a centurion
- 7:00Speaker 3: of what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man
- 7:06Speaker 3: and one who feared God with all his household, who
- 7:11Speaker 3: gave alms generously to the people and prayed to God always. Now,
- 7:18Speaker 3: this was a devout man. And actually this is pretty
- 7:22Speaker 3: interesting because my wife and I were talking about this
- 7:26Speaker 3: the other day at the restaurant. How this man he
- 7:30Speaker 3: knew God, he was seeking after God, but he was
- 7:34Speaker 3: not in alignment. He even had a relationship with God
- 7:39Speaker 3: in a sense, as he would pray, he would seek.
- 7:42Speaker 3: He was generous. He really had a heart to seek
- 7:46Speaker 3: after God. Now, now, Canelius was a gentile, but he
- 7:57Speaker 3: was a man that feared God. Now you see already
- 8:02Speaker 3: the walls of racism are starting to be torn down.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Now someone who respected the God of Israel but had
- 8:12Speaker 3: not fully converted to Judaism. So he respected the God
- 8:18Speaker 3: of Israel. He wanted to serve the God of Israel,
- 8:21Speaker 3: but he did not convert all the way. He was
- 8:24Speaker 3: a moral person. He was very disciplined, he was very generous,
- 8:32Speaker 3: and he was a prayerful man. He had all this,
- 8:37Speaker 3: but yet he was not saved. That can be very deceptive, beloved,
- 8:47Speaker 3: because it's a heart matter. Who do you trust in?
- 8:51Speaker 3: Is the question? Now? Does break this down? Slowly? Right
- 8:57Speaker 3: We're gonna break this down and bite say pieces right
- 9:01Speaker 3: here now, right away. Luke gives us five things about Cornelius.
- 9:11Speaker 3: He is a Roman centurion. That means authority, discipline in leadership.
- 9:20Speaker 3: He was a man's man. He represents the occupying force
- 9:29Speaker 3: over Israel. It was almost like if our country was
- 9:34Speaker 3: taken over by another country and their soldiers are worshiping
- 9:41Speaker 3: and serving the same guy that we serve right now.
- 9:48Speaker 3: He's also a gentile, so that means he's an outsider.
- 9:53Speaker 3: He's considered unclean in the eyes of the Jews. He's
- 9:59Speaker 3: not part of the Covenant nation. And some Jews used
- 10:05Speaker 3: to say gentile dogs. A lot of Jews in their
- 10:10Speaker 3: mind back then, thought that the gentiles were made to
- 10:14Speaker 3: fuel hell, like Heaven only belonged to them. Can you
- 10:20Speaker 3: imagine that a heart like that, And it says that
- 10:27Speaker 3: he fears God. This isn't casual belief, This isn't all
- 10:33Speaker 3: I believe in God. This is a reverence where he
- 10:38Speaker 3: feared the Lord God Almighty, hallelujah. I wonder even today,
- 10:43Speaker 3: where is the fear of God? Today? Where is the
- 10:47Speaker 3: fear of God in this generation? I say that to
- 10:50Speaker 3: my children all the time, like where is your fear
- 10:54Speaker 3: of God? Also, his whole house sold followed his example.
- 11:03Speaker 3: His faith influenced his whole family. And I've heard it
- 11:08Speaker 3: said before that once the father, the head get saved
- 11:13Speaker 3: in the family, the whole family gets saved. And then
- 11:21Speaker 3: finally he gives generosity. I mean he gives generously, and
- 11:27Speaker 3: he is a man of prayer. He is praying continuously.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Even today it's hard. We struggle with being consistent in
- 11:37Speaker 3: our prayer life. And this man man, he's running circles
- 11:40Speaker 3: around all of us at this moment, right.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Now.
- 11:45Speaker 3: If he was alive today, many churches would call him
- 11:49Speaker 3: a good Christian. They would say that this is a
- 11:54Speaker 3: man of God. They would say that this man is
- 11:57Speaker 3: like man. He's driving on all cylinders right. But here
- 12:05Speaker 3: is the tension looks like another one. Cornelius is sincere.
- 12:12Speaker 3: But sincerity does not equal salvation. That is very critical.
- 12:24Speaker 3: So you can pray regularly, you can give generously. You
- 12:32Speaker 3: can also lead your family morally and have a fear
- 12:39Speaker 3: of God intellectually, and you still need Jesus. See, Cornelius
- 12:50Speaker 3: doesn't need religion, he needs revelation. He needs a better
- 12:57Speaker 3: and a greater understanding. Right, So let's see how Heaven
- 13:02Speaker 3: responds to this. In verse three and four, about the
- 13:08Speaker 3: ninth hour of the day, he saw clearly in a
- 13:12Speaker 3: vision an angel of God coming in and saying to
- 13:18Speaker 3: him Canelius. And when he observed him, he was afraid
- 13:26Speaker 3: and said, what is it? Lord Like? He was like,
- 13:32Speaker 3: what's going on? So he said to him, your prayers
- 13:37Speaker 3: and your elms have come up for a memorial before God.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Now I want to say this, and this is actually
- 13:51Speaker 3: real encouraging. Even though he did not have the full Gospel,
- 13:58Speaker 3: God took notice. It came up as a memorial before God.
- 14:06Speaker 3: God took notice of his life another one, not as
- 14:10Speaker 3: a basis for salvation, but as evidence of a heart
- 14:16Speaker 3: generally seeking God. I remember there's a scripture that says,
- 14:21Speaker 3: if you seek, you shall find. I believe that God
- 14:26Speaker 3: would move heaven and earth for someone who is sincerely seeking,
- 14:33Speaker 3: and they may be off. That should answer the question.
- 14:36Speaker 3: For you know, what about the guy deeping in jungles
- 14:40Speaker 3: that never heard of Christ. Right guy in Africa or whatever.
- 14:45Speaker 3: You know, that question always comes up. You know it
- 14:48Speaker 3: is God going to send that person. Hell, well, there's
- 14:52Speaker 3: evidence right here that if you are sincere in seeking God,
- 15:01Speaker 3: God will reveal himself to you. And so that's our
- 15:07Speaker 3: heart check right there. You know, some of the people
- 15:09Speaker 3: we talked to they don't believe in God, or this
- 15:13Speaker 3: and that and the other, or they say we've tried,
- 15:15Speaker 3: it didn't work. The question is have you sincerely been
- 15:19Speaker 3: seeking God? Because if you have, you would have found
- 15:24Speaker 3: them by now. Amen. Now, the ninth hour is three PM,
- 15:35Speaker 3: and that is considered the Jewish hour of prayer. Now,
- 15:40Speaker 3: even as a gentile, Canelius has aligned himself with God's rhythm.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Now that is awesome. I'm liking this guy even more. Amen.
- 15:52Speaker 3: We got to get in alignment with God. I was
- 15:55Speaker 3: talking to my wife about that the other day, getting
- 15:57Speaker 3: our marriage in alignment, our hearts in alignment, getting our
- 16:02Speaker 3: activities in alignment with God. Now, notice this, God calls
- 16:08Speaker 3: him by his name. You see, your prayers are not anonymous.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Right when you send a prayer up to heaven, you're
- 16:20Speaker 3: not sending an anonymous prayer.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Your obedience is not invisible either. This man's discipline, this
- 16:33Speaker 3: man's obedience you're seeking is not ignored at all. Wow,
- 16:40Speaker 3: this is convicting, like you need to see God like
- 16:44Speaker 3: this man. This man didn't even have the full Gospel,
- 16:46Speaker 3: and look at how he was seeking God. The Angel
- 16:51Speaker 3: says something powerful to this man. Excuse me, He says,
- 16:56Speaker 3: your prayers and your arms have come up as a
- 16:59Speaker 3: memorial before God. Now let's break this down. A memorial
- 17:07Speaker 3: means that God remembers. Amen, we all should have a
- 17:14Speaker 3: memorial of the things that God has done in our lives.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I remember, I have a memorial when I first got
- 17:24Speaker 3: this particular job that I really liked, a very good job,
- 17:30Speaker 3: that my coworker, even before my approbation was up, was
- 17:34Speaker 3: just trying to get me fired. He would backbite, he
- 17:38Speaker 3: would complain, stab me in the back, he would do
- 17:40Speaker 3: all these things, and I just prayed out to God.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I worshiped, and I just saw God, and I was
- 17:48Speaker 3: asking God in the midst of this, in the midst
- 17:50Speaker 3: of the whole, my whole little section. I mean, there's
- 17:55Speaker 3: very few people that showed me support that I went through.
- 18:02Speaker 3: They tried to really get rid of me. And at
- 18:07Speaker 3: that time I was praying for a pay raise and
- 18:09Speaker 3: a promotion, like I was going against the grain, and
- 18:13Speaker 3: God blessed me with a three dollars raise and a
- 18:16Speaker 3: promotion in a totally different department. So as a memorial,
- 18:20Speaker 3: I used to hang up my work shirt in the
- 18:23Speaker 3: garage and I would pass by it and I would
- 18:26Speaker 3: remember what God did for me then. And He's done
- 18:31Speaker 3: it multiple times even after that. Do you have a
- 18:34Speaker 3: memorial of what his God has done for you? And
- 18:37Speaker 3: it's encouraging to know that He has a memorial for us.
- 18:43Speaker 3: What we do for God, God remembers it. It's almost
- 18:48Speaker 3: like my daughter, the oldest daughter, loves to paint. She's
- 18:55Speaker 3: a talented painter. You give her a canvas, man, and
- 19:00Speaker 3: she can make a work of art out of it.
- 19:03Speaker 3: And it's just like God hanging up a painting, a
- 19:06Speaker 3: portrait in heaven that reminds him of you and your
- 19:15Speaker 3: action and activities. Man, this is beautiful. All right, Let
- 19:19Speaker 3: me keep going. I can stay here all day. But
- 19:22Speaker 3: as a memorial before God. But it doesn't say that
- 19:31Speaker 3: he was saved at this point. It just says that
- 19:35Speaker 3: he was seen. God sees you being seen by God
- 19:39Speaker 3: at this point is not the same thing as being saved. Now,
- 19:45Speaker 3: seeking God opens the door, but Christ must still be preached.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:55Speaker 3: The Bible tells us that there's no other name under
- 19:58Speaker 3: heaven but which man must be saved, but the name
- 20:03Speaker 3: of Christ Jesus, right, And that's in the Book of
- 20:07Speaker 3: Acts as well. And so this also tells us that
- 20:14Speaker 3: good works cannot save us. Right in verse five and six,
- 20:19Speaker 3: Now send me, send men to Joppa, and send for Simon,
- 20:25Speaker 3: whose surname is Peter. He is lodging with Simon a
- 20:33Speaker 3: Tanner when we talked about him on the last episode.
- 20:36Speaker 3: That Tanner is a person who cuts up animal skins. Right,
- 20:43Speaker 3: whose house is by the sea. He will tell you
- 20:47Speaker 3: what you must do. Hallelujah. Look at God. God is
- 20:53Speaker 3: just guiding. God is just making sure like this person,
- 20:57Speaker 3: this person belongs to me. Now, this is a move,
- 21:03Speaker 3: like I said, in the gentile world, this is gonna
- 21:07Speaker 3: shock the Jews to the core. Now, angels are not
- 21:15Speaker 3: commissioned to preach the gospel. Guy uses people to bring
- 21:20Speaker 3: people to Christ. So the Angel could have just spread
- 21:26Speaker 3: the gospel and just got him saved right at the moment.
- 21:29Speaker 3: But no, he says sin for Peter because God ordained
- 21:34Speaker 3: it for man to preach to man right now. This
- 21:39Speaker 3: is important. If Cornelius's good works were enough, the Angel
- 21:47Speaker 3: could have said you're good, keep going. But instead guy says,
- 21:54Speaker 3: you still need a messenger. Look at that, hey man,
- 21:59Speaker 3: Look at how important it is to have a messenger.
- 22:03Speaker 3: And I want to sit here, park here for a second.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Because this podcast, we can send this podcast out his
- 22:14Speaker 3: hot nation. We have an app, we have a radio station,
- 22:18Speaker 3: we have a website, we have all these tools, all
- 22:22Speaker 3: these things that we could use to send the gospel
- 22:25Speaker 3: out so that they can hear the message social media.
- 22:31Speaker 3: And I know the gospel is all over the world
- 22:34Speaker 3: right now with the technology that we have. But this man,
- 22:40Speaker 3: he still needed a messenger, no matter how spiritual the
- 22:48Speaker 3: experience might be. Angels don't replace Jesus, and visions don't
- 22:56Speaker 3: replace scripture. Good deeds don't replace the Gospel. Salvation always
- 23:07Speaker 3: comes through hearing the word of Christ. Faith comes by hearing. Now,
- 23:17Speaker 3: notice God's precision, precision in this. If I give my
- 23:23Speaker 3: words to come together, ah, Now, God gives Peter his name,
- 23:32Speaker 3: He gives his name, his location in his living situation. Right,
- 23:36Speaker 3: he gives up all of Peter's information right here. And
- 23:40Speaker 3: it was not random. It was for a purpose. Right,
- 23:48Speaker 3: God is always working on both sides of a divine appointment.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Nowt Us look at verse seven through eight. Now this
- 23:59Speaker 3: was a me obedience on the part of Peter. And
- 24:03Speaker 3: when the angel who spoke to him had departed, Connelius
- 24:07Speaker 3: called two of his household servants and a devout soldier
- 24:13Speaker 3: from among those who waited on him continually. So when
- 24:21Speaker 3: he had explained all these things to them, he sent
- 24:25Speaker 3: them to Joppa. Now Connelius responds immediately to this vision.
- 24:33Speaker 3: There was no delay, there's no debate, there's no partial obedience.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I'll do it halfway. Now he did it immediately. See
- 24:48Speaker 3: he does not procrastinate. Right, he explains the vision to them.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Now he chooses trusted men. Now that is a treasure.
- 25:01Speaker 3: If you have men that you can trust in ministry,
- 25:04Speaker 3: you need to thank God for that. Hallelujah. And he
- 25:08Speaker 3: sends them out immediately. Obedience is often the proof of sincerity.
- 25:19Speaker 3: And notice who he sends. He sends servants in a
- 25:22Speaker 3: devout soldier. And I was just pondering on that, like
- 25:27Speaker 3: one of his most faithful soldier to protect his servants.
- 25:32Speaker 3: So it's three of them, at least three in this company.
- 25:38Speaker 3: And his faith was already shaped and it already shifted
- 25:45Speaker 3: his environment before Cannelius knew Jesus. Jesus is already shaping
- 25:54Speaker 3: Cannelius's life. God is already working on this man. Hallelujah.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Now here's the application. Let's park right here for a second.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Now this man Canelius teaches us something that is vital.
- 26:24Speaker 3: You can be close to the kingdom and still not
- 26:29Speaker 3: make it inside of the kingdom. He reminds us that
- 26:35Speaker 3: good morals do not save a person, generosity does not
- 26:40Speaker 3: save a person, and prayer alone does not save. Only
- 26:47Speaker 3: Christ saves. But here is the encouragement. God responds to
- 27:01Speaker 3: a sincere seeker. Hallelujah. If you're sincerely seeking God, I
- 27:12Speaker 3: believe with all my heart that God will respond to you.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Now if your heart is generally reaching towards truth, if
- 27:22Speaker 3: you're seeking truth, God will make sure that you will
- 27:26Speaker 3: hear the gospel and the challenge. When God speaks, we
- 27:33Speaker 3: have to move. We have to move on the word
- 27:37Speaker 3: of God. Delayed obedience is still disobedience, And that right
- 27:46Speaker 3: there is convicting to my own heart. And as I'm
- 27:50Speaker 3: going through this story, I'm just looking back on my
- 27:54Speaker 3: life as a young man. I mean, I'm still a child.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I'm like eleven, ten, eleven, twelve years old. I vividly
- 28:07Speaker 3: remember kneeling on the side of my bed before I
- 28:11Speaker 3: went to bed, and I would always ask God. I
- 28:16Speaker 3: didn't do it every night, but I would do it
- 28:18Speaker 3: every so often. I would just ask God, would you
- 28:23Speaker 3: please allow me into your kingdom? Like that was my
- 28:27Speaker 3: whole prayer, Like allow me into your kingdom. And I
- 28:32Speaker 3: remember one time I would listen to the radio. It
- 28:35Speaker 3: was like a Sunday morning, and you know, they have
- 28:38Speaker 3: church and stuff they used to play on the radio,
- 28:43Speaker 3: and I remember listening to a sermon and just and
- 28:47Speaker 3: I was going through something at that time, and I
- 28:51Speaker 3: remember just calling out to God. And then events led
- 28:57Speaker 3: up to me get into some trouble as a little
- 29:02Speaker 3: knucklehead boy. Right then my dad, my dad ended up
- 29:06Speaker 3: getting me the job at the age of fifteen. I
- 29:09Speaker 3: started working because he didn't want me to go to
- 29:12Speaker 3: the streets. And I thank my God even to this day.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I mean, I think my dad, I mean, I thank God,
- 29:20Speaker 3: but my dad also to this day that amen he
- 29:24Speaker 3: allowed me to He had enough. He cared about me
- 29:28Speaker 3: enough to where he understood that I needed to get
- 29:31Speaker 3: to work. He showed me how to work, and I
- 29:34Speaker 3: developed a work ethic at a young age that brought
- 29:38Speaker 3: me out of the streets and I actually started making money.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I actually started getting paid. And so man, that's awesome.

- 31:12Speaker 5: I still got heaven and that's that major lee. See
- 31:15Speaker 5: my tea in our mind, my business, I'm living out,

- 31:47Speaker 4: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 31:51Speaker 4: is the Hiss Hop radio show.
- 32:10Speaker 3: All right, all right, we are back. That was Jared
- 32:13Speaker 3: Sanders with prayed for Me right here live on his
- 32:18Speaker 3: hop radio show podcast Network. All that good stuff. I'm
- 32:24Speaker 3: your boy, mister his hop and we are talking about Cornelius,
- 32:30Speaker 3: a devout seeker from the Lord, though he was not saved.
- 32:35Speaker 3: He is not saved at this point. So we're gonna
- 32:37Speaker 3: go through this whole journey. We're gonna break it down,
- 32:42Speaker 3: We're gonna take a look at this. So these are
- 32:44Speaker 3: some good reminders. Now it's time for the accountability partner segment. Now,
- 32:55Speaker 3: this segment is exactly what we're studying right now. We're
- 33:00Speaker 3: talking to people who even have received Christ and they've
- 33:05Speaker 3: known Christ, they heard of Christ, but they have not
- 33:10Speaker 3: fully surrendered their hearts. They are not any active relationship
- 33:16Speaker 3: with them. They're doing good deeds and good works. It's
- 33:20Speaker 3: all about getting to know Christ for yourself. It's all
- 33:25Speaker 3: about Jesus beloved. It's not about good deeds or good works.
- 33:30Speaker 3: It's about relationship, you know, the Savior on a personal level.
- 33:39Speaker 3: And then and wow, this is actually all This is
- 33:44Speaker 3: what I've been talking to my wife about the other day.
- 33:48Speaker 3: God has really been showing her this about being in
- 33:50Speaker 3: alignment and having the keys to the kingdom, and it's
- 33:55Speaker 3: coming up in this chapter. And it's actually me away
- 34:00Speaker 3: because it was not intentional. Hey, man, and so the
- 34:06Speaker 3: Accountability Partner is sometimes you need someone in your life.
- 34:10Speaker 3: You know you're gonna have blind spots, You're gonna need
- 34:13Speaker 3: somebody who's got your back. Like this is a spiritual war.
- 34:17Speaker 3: We're fighting a whole big devil, and this devil's been
- 34:21Speaker 3: doing this for thousands of years. He is a master
- 34:26Speaker 3: at his craft. And you think you're gonna take him
- 34:28Speaker 3: on by yourself. You think you're gonna take on your
- 34:32Speaker 3: flesh by yourself. You need the power of the Holy Spirit.
- 34:37Speaker 3: You need the fellowship of your brothers and sisters. You
- 34:39Speaker 3: need to get in position in this army. You need
- 34:45Speaker 3: to be in church faithfully. You need to be in
- 34:47Speaker 3: fellowship faithfully some brothers and sisters that can pray for
- 34:51Speaker 3: you and hold you accountable. Like this is needed. Like
- 34:56Speaker 3: you'd be crazy to think you can fight this war
- 34:59Speaker 3: on your ow. You gotta fight it in the way
- 35:02Speaker 3: that God has subscribed us to do.
- 35:07Speaker 1: So.
- 35:07Speaker 3: If you want to go further in the Accountability Partner

- 35:23Speaker 3: the information right there. And you could also request a
- 35:31Speaker 3: follow up if you need agreement in prayer or anything
- 35:35Speaker 3: like that. Amen. And also we give a challenge every
- 35:43Speaker 3: day on this podcast. The challenge today is who in
- 35:46Speaker 3: your life challenges you to obey God immediately and not conveniently.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Now when it's convenient, you need to be immediately obedient
- 35:58Speaker 3: to God. And I pray that we can encourage each
- 36:02Speaker 3: other in this endeavor. Amen. Also, we're gonna let you

- 36:33Speaker 3: Let's see who's going to be the first one to
- 36:36Speaker 3: answer correctly. The question is what rank did Cornelius hold
- 36:44Speaker 3: in the Roman Army? What rank did he hold in
- 36:50Speaker 3: the Roman Army? All right, let's get some jeopardy music
- 36:57Speaker 3: going quick. Hint, if you are thinking or don't know,
- 37:04Speaker 3: just go back over the chapter what we just read. Man,
- 37:12Speaker 3: and I want to give a shout out to z
- 37:13Speaker 3: Own three because he got the answer correctly for yesterday
- 37:19Speaker 3: Yesterday's trivia here let me see, let me go to
- 37:22Speaker 3: the to the live chat here, and let's see. It
- 37:29Speaker 3: was the simon the tanner is what the question was.
- 37:34Speaker 3: And so the Zone three said, a tanner was a
- 37:39Speaker 3: person who made animal skins into leather. His significance was
- 37:46Speaker 3: to show that God can and will use anyone who
- 37:50Speaker 3: chooses he chooses, as a tanner would be involved in
- 37:54Speaker 3: working with unclean animals. That's all I was able to fight. Okay,
- 38:02Speaker 3: So that's Zone three in the life chat. And Corinth
- 38:09Speaker 3: said that he was driving right now. So Corinth, we

- 40:55Speaker 3: Give us the humility to admit that we still need Jesus,
- 41:01Speaker 3: and the courage to obey when you speak, Oh God,
